A wildfire sparked near Pelican Point, just south of the Lake Mountain Range, but crews say it’s small—about ten acres—and naturally caused. No homes are threatened, and no evacuations are needed. Firefighters are urging drivers on Redwood Road, especially near mile markers 22 and 23, to watch for emergency vehicles and pull over if sirens sound. Drones are also banned—fire planes can’t operate with them buzzing around. Everyone’s asked to stay away to keep crews safe and efficient. Curiosity’s fine, but don’t get in their way.
