  Speaker 1: It's time right now for today's word. From the pit

  Speaker 1: to the promise. Some I'm sparty and two says. He

  Speaker 1: lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of
• 0:15
  Speaker 1: the mud and the mire. He setting my feet on
• 0:18
  Speaker 1: solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. You know,
• 0:23
  Speaker 1: there are seasons in life when you feel like you've
• 0:27
  Speaker 1: been stuck in a pit for so long that you've
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: almost been forgotten. You've forgotten what it feels like to
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: stand on solid ground. Maybe it was the loss of
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: someone you love. Maybe it was a painful divorce, a
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: broken relationship, a financial setback, a health challenge, a dream
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: that didn't turn out the way that you had hoped.
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: You cried, you prayed, you waited, and after a while
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: you started thinking, maybe this is just the way my
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: life is gonna be. But I came to remind you
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: today God has not forgotten you. In the pit. We

  Speaker 1: can become so accustomed to where we are that we
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: stop expecting anything to change. We adjust to the disappointment.

  Speaker 1: We learn to live with the pain. We make peace
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: with the idea that our best days are behind us
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: all but the devil is a liar. God is a lifter.
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: And when God decides it's time to lift you, nothing
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: and no one can keep you down. David said he
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: lifted me out of the pit of despair. Notice David
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: didn't say I climbed out by myself. He said he
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: lifted me. There are some places only God can bring
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: you out of. There are some doors only God can open.
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: There are some battles that only God can turn around.

  Speaker 1: And sometimes the breakthrough will happen. Suddenly. Suddenly the doors
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: will open, Suddenly your help begins to improve, Suddenly the
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: right opportunities come, Suddenly the divine connection appears. Suddenly what
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: you've been praying for begins to move, and you'll look
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: back and realize this was nothing but the goodness of God.

  Speaker 1: So what would happen if you stop expecting the worst
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: and start expecting God's goodness? What if you woke up
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: every morning believing that God is still working on your behalf.

  Speaker 1: What if you start expecting favor instead of failure, restoration
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: instead of rejection, healing instead of defeat, and purpose instead
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: of disappointment. You may have been in the pit, but
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: the pit is not your permanent address. God is lifting you.
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: He's setting your feet on solid ground. He's steadying your steps.
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: He's giving you strength for the journey ahead. And the
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: same God who brought you through yesterday is preparing you
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: for your tomorrow. So lift up your head, get your
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: hope back, start expecting again. Your story is not over.
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: The pit could not cancel your purpose, the set that
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: could not stop your destiny, and the loss could not
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: destroy your future. Your God is still your lifter, and
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: he is bringing you out of the pit and into
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: a new beginning. Come on, Jesus Father, thank you for
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: being the God who lifts us when life has pushed
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: us down. Thank you. No pit of despair, no loss,
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: no disappointment, no setback, and no mistake can counsel our
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: purpose You placed inside of us amazing things for our future.
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: Forgive us for the times when we become comfortable in
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: places you're calling us out of. Restore our hope and
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: renew our expectation. Help us to believe again, dream again,
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: and look forward to what you're doing in our lives. God,
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: we declare that the pit is not our final destination.
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: You're lifting us up, You're setting our feet on solid
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: ground and guiding us into a new season. We will
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: expect your goodness, we will expect your favor, We will
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: expect you to finish what you started in us. Thank
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: you for the new beginning in our lives. In Jesus' name.
