[SPEAKER_00]: For the most part, some players were busy doing other responsibilities and obligations and things like that, but for the most part, there were things that we could glean good and bad from Brocos OTAs that I'm happy to go over.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how much rant I got at meet tonight, uh, Raj, but I'll try to get going about this, this Jonathan Cooper arrest, and it's really, really frustrating for both Cooper and the Broncos.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to dive right in like I said about the Cooper arrest that kind of makes me irritated because we thought we could put it behind us.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was here defending Jonathan Cooper after he was arrested the first time.

[SPEAKER_00]: I said these things kind of happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's life and I don't want to blow it out of proportion, but I also said,

[SPEAKER_00]: If he was found to be guilty, he should be punished to the full letter of the law, both criminally and NFL-wise, and we left it at that, and I thought as most things, after you get arrested, you kind of lay low and let the legal processes play out and hopefully the team will give you another chance.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Jonathan Cooper got arrested again for breaking the terms of his, I think it was like a protection order or stay away kind of no contact order.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not going to get into the details because a lot of its allegations, a lot of its legal, I'm going to get just like the macro situation.

[SPEAKER_00]: He broke those conditions.

[SPEAKER_00]: He had new charges are added to his original rap sheet.

[SPEAKER_00]: So again, I'm not going to get into the he said she said I'm not going to get into the details, but the overarching picture was that Jonathan Cooper was popped again.

[SPEAKER_00]: He went up to the victim apparently and he made contact where he shouldn't

[SPEAKER_00]: And now we as a felony to contend with the as a court case coming up, the Broncos released a brief statement and this one was a lot different than the first statement and a lot different than what Sean Payton said literally a few hours before this all came out.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure I don't have a pulled-up so I apologize, but I think it was we are disappointed to learn of Jonathan Cooper's latest arrest, and we are continuing to gather information something along those lines.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the key word there, the only word to take away is disappointed, and as they should be, as he should be in himself, as his family should be in him, as the Baracko should be in him, as if he's if he's the criminal in this, the victim should be disappointed obviously, because they had a relationship, it was his girlfriend.

[SPEAKER_00]: in his girlfriend, I don't know, but a lot has been reported about him eating the cell phone and he was cloud on social media for that.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I said, the Broncos have to consider legitimately like cutting Jonathan Cooper at this point.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a guy who was a seventh round draft pick, who entered the NFL due to a heart ablation issue or he had a heart ablation procedure.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's why he fell and he works his way up from an unknown draft pick, a seventh round guy to a starter in a really elite defense and to just throw that all away.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you can play in this league, it's why like the Micah Parsons, his college pass, which I thought was overblown to begin with, but if you look into his Penn State history, there's a couple things that are kind of, you know, worry some there, but he can play in the NFL level.

[SPEAKER_00]: He gets sacks, he changes games, he's one of the best players in the league, and that kind of gets overlooked.

[SPEAKER_00]: Cooper is not that Cooper is not like a person's Cooper is not Miles Garrett.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know that he's good enough to justify keeping him aboard keeping that Cancerist attitude again if it's if it's a continuing problem which it is to arrest within a week you have to know you have to be smarter like if that was me for example, it'll never be me, but if that was me if I was him.

[SPEAKER_00]: People overlook a lot if you provide value, if you provide utility, if you're good at your job, if you're in the top 1% at your job, which players like Miles, Garrett, and Von Miller, Von Miller in the past, but those players are, then you can get away with, it's an expression I'm not saying this literally, but you can get away with murder.
