• 1:53
SPEAKER_00: That's down from one last season where there was an independent classification, which will be no longer.
• 1:59
SPEAKER_00: So that leaves us with AA, A, B, C, D, sounds like I'm in school, an eight-player classification.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_00: There will be 38 teams.
• 2:34
SPEAKER_00: And now on to the breakdown for each of the classifications.
• 2:37
SPEAKER_00: We'll begin with the class AA, also referenced as Division I.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_00: There will be three teams comprised of the class AA.
• 2:45
SPEAKER_00: That will be Corning, Elmira, and Ithaca.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: Ithaca last season was in the independent classification, which I had mentioned before, is no longer.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_00: On to Class A or Division II, comprised of four teams.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_00: You've got Horseheads, Union Endicott, Vestel, and Binghamton.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_00: The Binghamton Patriots have new head coach Vaughn Labor, along with returning former line coach Joel Davis.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_00: Expect improved line play on both sides of the ball with Joel Beck.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: Classification B or Division III.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_00: That's comprised of six teams.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_00: On to classification C, where there's actually two divisions.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_00: So in classification, you have Division IV, which is comprised of four teams, and those four are Shenango Forks, Sydney, Susquehanna Valley, and Windsor.
• 4:09
SPEAKER_00: Also in classification C, you have a Division V comprised of five teams.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_00: Those five teams are Dryden, Lansing, Watkins Glenn, Odessa Montour, also referred to as Schuyler, Waverly, and Whitney Point.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_00: Now on to Class D, which is referred to as Division VI, and there's also a Division VI in the D classification.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_00: Division VI is comprised of five teams.
• 4:41
SPEAKER_00: Those are Delaware Academy, Harpersville, Afton, Oxford, Spencer Bonetton Cander, and Walton.

SPEAKER_00: Now on to the eight-player classification.

• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: And the Trumansburg Blue Raiders have a new head coach in Chad Doolittle.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: I had mentioned earlier in the episode that there was an unfortunate situation with a particular team that was unable to meet the minimum requirements of student athletes to field an eight-player team.
• 5:58
SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, that was Unadilla Valley.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_00: But those student athletes are going to get a chance to still play football, which is important.
• 6:05
SPEAKER_00: Unadilla Valley will merge with Unatigo Franklin.
• 6:10
SPEAKER_00: And beginning last season, Gilbertsville-Mount Upton student athletes were allowed the opportunity to play football for Unadilla Valley as well, and that will remain this season.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_00: So, in summary, this season, student athletes from Unadilla Valley, Gilbertsville, Mount Upton, and Unitego Franklin will compete as Unitego Franklin Spartans.
• 6:32
SPEAKER_00: They're going to be coached by Frank Barcroni.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_00: I'm glad to see the flexibility of these school districts to quickly make the decision to grant these student athletes the opportunity to partake in the best part of football, playing the game.
• 6:45
  SPEAKER_00: Well done.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: The Spartans will practice at Unitego Franklin and play the current Unitigo Franklin schedule.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_00: The United Go Franklin regular season game scheduled for October 18th against Junadilla Valley will now still be a home game, but the opponent will be Catskill Cairo Durham.
