- 6:23Speaker 4: has your news.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It's time for j CS news.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Wow, this guy gotta put his name on everything.
- 6:31Speaker 3: It's in my contract ed.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Here's the news on the Jim Colberg Show.
- 6:36Speaker 7: And as always, JCS News is brought to you by
- 6:38Speaker 7: that mortgage guy Dom. Give him a listen tomorrow morning
- 6:41Speaker 7: when he's host of the Home Loans radio show, all Right,
- 6:46Speaker 7: is it hot enough for everybody here?
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, I know. Well we're not the only
- 6:51Speaker 5: ones suffering.
- 6:51Speaker 7: You guys, how much have death surged in France during
- 6:55Speaker 7: the hottest week of a record heat wave last month?
- 6:57Speaker 3: Did you say deaths? Deaths? Exactly?
- 7:00Speaker 7: What percentage have deaths surged in France?
- 7:03Speaker 3: Four?
- 7:05Speaker 5: Ross two?
- 7:07Speaker 7: Jack Ken twenty nine percent, damn, twenty nine percent.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 7: The country's health authorities reporting at least two thousand more
- 7:16Speaker 7: deaths than in the previous week, when temperatures were already climbing,
- 7:19Speaker 7: filling emergency rooms.
- 7:21Speaker 5: In fact, in.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Paris, funeral service directors have said that they are actually
- 7:25Speaker 7: struggling to find places.
- 7:26Speaker 3: To store the bodies.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Damn.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Some mortuaries are saying they're full and they're having to
- 7:31Speaker 7: turn people away.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Wow, that's like Ross and high school.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Yeah no, it's actually me right now trying to hide
- 7:37Speaker 4: the body.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Yeah, speaking of Ross, I picked this next story because man,
- 7:42Speaker 7: this is not cool. A Turkish court today ordered a
- 7:45Speaker 7: comedian jailed pending a trial on charges of insulting religious
- 7:50Speaker 7: values and President Racip tayip Erdowan after a stand up
- 7:55Speaker 7: routine including references to him as a quote unquote dictator.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Oh that's all til Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 7: Thirty two year old Dennis Dutkuss was detained yesterday for
- 8:06Speaker 7: questioning at Istanbul's main airport after returning from a trip abroad. Now,
- 8:11Speaker 7: he was formally arrested following questioning by prosecutors today. Now,
- 8:15Speaker 7: the routine recorded in Istanbul last month drew some nine
- 8:20Speaker 7: and a half million views.
- 8:22Speaker 3: That's why you got jailed.
- 8:23Speaker 7: After being uploaded to YouTube on June twenty fourth. But
- 8:26Speaker 7: apparently dozens of viewers were offended by jokes on religion
- 8:30Speaker 7: and filed complaints, prompting that investigation.
- 8:32Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I don't think he should be arrested, but I think
- 8:35Speaker 4: most comedians should get arrested.
- 8:39Speaker 3: I'm just saying, like or not a great group of people.
- 8:43Speaker 5: That is not true.
- 8:46Speaker 4: That's very interesting that you would say that. Not everyone's
- 8:48Speaker 4: Nate Margatzi. Yeah, yeah, okay, y yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 5: He's in a rough place right now.
- 8:52Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:54Speaker 7: The stories, of course coming out of Venezuela are both
- 8:56Speaker 7: tragic but hopeful as well. And we've got a really
- 8:59Speaker 7: cool story hope can come in some of the strangest places.
- 9:02Speaker 5: In this case, it's a Venezuelan McDonald's.
- 9:05Speaker 7: Okay, The restaurant is next to the ruins of a
- 9:09Speaker 7: collapse state housing complexes, and it's kind of become a
- 9:11Speaker 7: de facto hospital for earthquake victims, as well as a
- 9:15Speaker 7: center for locating and treating missing pets.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I think they just pulled a guy in the rubble
- 9:22Speaker 3: for a week.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Yeah, a father has been under the rubble for eight eighths. Yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 5: them in the basement.
- 9:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 9:30Speaker 4: He was a father of five and married. He said
- 9:32Speaker 4: it was the most peaceful eight days he's ever had.
- 9:35Speaker 4: He looked every second of it and beg to be
- 9:37Speaker 4: put back.
- 9:39Speaker 5: All right.
- 9:39Speaker 7: Well, neighbors call it hospital McDonald's. Now Angel Matute and
- 9:44Speaker 7: seventy other vet students doctors. They all traveled and set
- 9:47Speaker 7: up a place to sleep. This is the only restaurant
- 9:49Speaker 7: still has air conditioning doors, so they set up a hospital.
- 9:53Speaker 7: Guess so many pets they've been able to rescue and
- 9:56Speaker 7: treat one hundred and fifty oh almost on the money,
- 10:00Speaker 7: one hundred and forty animals they've treated sixty.
- 10:02Speaker 3: More fifty five five email you get a free cigar.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I jumped in there.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Yeah you did, and you're the winner of all of
- 10:11Speaker 5: our hearts?
- 10:12Speaker 3: Is he not?
- 10:15Speaker 8: I know?
- 10:15Speaker 3: We don't never need to do that again. Don't the audience?
- 10:20Speaker 3: Who's your favorite?
- 10:24Speaker 5: All right?
- 10:24Speaker 7: We didn't get to cover this earlier this week, but
- 10:26Speaker 7: we did talk about the Governor Ron Desanta signing the
- 10:29Speaker 7: state budget on Monday.
- 10:31Speaker 5: What's cool is that it included four.
- 10:32Speaker 7: Million dollars to be shared by the families of the
- 10:35Speaker 7: Groveland Four. Right, remember before, young black men who were
- 10:39Speaker 7: falsely accused of the summer of nineteen forty nine of
- 10:42Speaker 7: raping a white teenage housewife on a dark roadside in
- 10:45Speaker 7: Royal Lake County. As compensation for the decades prejudice and
- 10:49Speaker 7: injustices heaped upon the four, all now long dead Samuel Sheppard,
- 10:55Speaker 7: Charles Greenlee, Walter Irvin, and Ernest Thompson, just one of
- 10:59Speaker 7: many acts the state is done to try to kind
- 11:01Speaker 7: of right their wrongs. Florida House representatives issued a formal
- 11:04Speaker 7: and heartfelt apology to the men in twenty seventeen, and
- 11:07Speaker 7: then in twenty twenty, Lake County unveiled a memorial to
- 11:10Speaker 7: the Groveland four nice as well as to the newspaper.
- 11:14Speaker 7: Reporter Mabel Norris Reese reported on the Groveland four had
- 11:18Speaker 7: her house burned, her dog poisoned. All right, anybody been
- 11:22Speaker 7: through Orlando International Airport recently?
- 11:24Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, joined it looks like we have tons of international
- 11:29Speaker 4: travelers in the ground.
- 11:30Speaker 7: To anybody go through terminal Sea when they were like, yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 7: oh wow, okay, there's a terminal Sea person right there. Yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 7: it turns out this week that what should have been,
- 11:39Speaker 7: you know, the last step of your trip. Right, Yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 7: you've dplaned, You've walked down to get your bed. You're
- 11:45Speaker 7: waiting for your bag. Right, you're waiting for your bed. Right,
- 11:49Speaker 7: you're waiting for your bed.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Three hours goes by.
- 11:53Speaker 7: If you're elderly, you have an infant child, there are
- 11:57Speaker 7: no restaurants, there are no places really to kind to sit.
- 12:00Speaker 7: What happened apparently a baggage machine malfunctioned and folks were
- 12:06Speaker 7: left waiting. Now, this is what's interesting. Last week, something
- 12:09Speaker 7: similar happened. Yeah, and folks were told that if they
- 12:11Speaker 7: left the airport they would be arrested for abandoning their
- 12:16Speaker 7: luggage because they hadn't gone through customs and immigration.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Three flights we are we're arrested.
- 12:22Speaker 7: Crazy game, seriously, right, They were told they'd be abandoning
- 12:26Speaker 7: their luggage and could be arrested if they left the airport,
- 12:29Speaker 7: so they were forced to sit on the floor with
- 12:31Speaker 7: their children and wait for their luggage to find the show.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Up the ass.
- 12:35Speaker 4: But you're gonna get in jail by twenty year there
- 12:36Speaker 4: for for getting your suitcase.
- 12:40Speaker 3: The movie The Terminal with Tom Hanks.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well the new one sucks.
- 12:46Speaker 5: No good, no good at all.
- 12:49Speaker 8: All right.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Other holiday news, we've talked about this. It is official.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Triple A wants to help in the effort to keep
- 12:55Speaker 7: impair drivers off the road this fourth of July, so
- 12:58Speaker 7: it's activating its tode go program.
- 13:01Speaker 5: What are you laughing about, Jimmy, I'm just looking at
- 13:02Speaker 5: the crowd from.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, clap.
- 13:08Speaker 7: If you've used toe to go before, that's the.
- 13:12Speaker 4: That's the horrifying question to ask these crowds. This guy
- 13:17Speaker 4: drink is eye color different?
- 13:21Speaker 3: Well.
- 13:22Speaker 7: It's activated from today through July sixth, for those who
- 13:25Speaker 7: don't know. It was created to provide safe transportation for
- 13:28Speaker 7: impair drivers who are in a bind. Free confidential service
- 13:32Speaker 7: available to both members non members of Triple A. But
- 13:34Speaker 7: Triple A does ask listen leave this.
- 13:36Speaker 5: As a last resort. We've talked about this before.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 13:39Speaker 7: What's the number one reason, folks, don't they decide to
- 13:41Speaker 7: drive after drinking there exactly?
- 13:45Speaker 5: How am I going to get to my car tomorrow? Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 5: so totego.
- 13:48Speaker 7: We'll operate from six o'clock tonight, about an hour before
- 13:51Speaker 7: the end of the show.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Folks.
- 13:52Speaker 7: Hey, and they've got a circular driveway so to make
- 13:55Speaker 7: it real easy for all the tow trucks.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Right right, I think they're lining up on dom now.
- 14:01Speaker 7: We'll run through six am on Monday. Just call eight
- 14:04Speaker 7: five five to toe to go, all right.
- 14:06Speaker 4: They need a toe bus. Yeah, they needn't get drunk
- 14:09Speaker 4: people in bulk. That's what drunk people and hammered greyhound
- 14:14Speaker 4: people in bulk by Sam's Club drunks.
- 14:19Speaker 3: You know it all right.
- 14:20Speaker 7: Tens of thousands of Argentinian fans are expected to descend
- 14:23Speaker 7: on Miami for today's FIFA World Cup Round of thirty
- 14:27Speaker 7: two match against campe Verde. Immediate reports say as many
- 14:30Speaker 7: as how many Argentinian supporters. This is just Argentinian support,
- 14:35Speaker 7: just people from Argentina. Argentinian supporters.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You're the soccer plug.
- 14:39Speaker 4: I'll go three hundred thousand, Oh my god, I think
- 14:43Speaker 4: three hundred thousands I'll go eighty five thousand.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I'll go fifty points.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Jack fifty two thousand.
- 14:50Speaker 11: Two.
- 14:50Speaker 7: Hardock Stadium, which seats about sixty five thousand, support Cape Verdie.
- 14:54Speaker 5: They get the leftover.
- 14:56Speaker 4: You know, I'm assuming that there's a lot of Argentinians
- 14:59Speaker 4: also just the stadium as well. Is it the entire
- 15:02Speaker 4: country of Cape Verdie the soccer team? Isn't it the deal?
- 15:06Speaker 3: I think you're great?
- 15:08Speaker 5: All right.
- 15:08Speaker 7: The game is also notable because it will be one
- 15:10Speaker 7: of the rare times Lionel Messi plays a World Cup
- 15:13Speaker 7: match in the same city where he stars professionally for
- 15:16Speaker 7: inter Fort Lauderdale.
- 15:18Speaker 13: Wow.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Holy, by chance and not by design whatsoever. Look at
- 15:23Speaker 4: that conspiracy theories for soccer last datement was dripping with sarcas.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right.
- 15:30Speaker 5: Anybody looking to buy some stuff this holiday weekend? Looking
- 15:32Speaker 5: for some sales?
- 15:33Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, my kids are actually shopping for sheets and
- 15:36Speaker 4: a comforter today.
- 15:37Speaker 7: Oh that's adulting, it is that is adulting, super adulting.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Yeah wow, Well, summer has officially just begun. Retailers already
- 15:45Speaker 7: looking ahead to fall. You could get some bargains on
- 15:47Speaker 7: things you'll need between now and Labor Day. One of
- 15:49Speaker 7: the many long holiday weekends sales Dad deals. Okay, that
- 15:53Speaker 7: website suggests you look for discounts on swimwear, another summer
- 15:57Speaker 7: fashions grills, another outdoor gear. Who wants to see Dad's
- 16:00Speaker 7: like Jim Culbert and Jack Bradshawn Ross Paget and some
- 16:03Speaker 7: new swimwear.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Oh yeah, dude, And I'm a speedo guy at home.
- 16:07Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys know that about me.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I got a lot of showcase.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Hold up your lollipop, Ross, Yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Don't hold up the lollipop, Ross, Do not hold up
- 16:19Speaker 4: that giant lollipop.
- 16:21Speaker 5: You may find lower prices on major appliances.
- 16:23Speaker 7: No, expert shoppers say wait on tech though, better deals
- 16:26Speaker 7: come and drin thee back to school sales? Can you
- 16:28Speaker 7: guys believe it will just be in a matter of
- 16:30Speaker 7: weeks we'll be talking about kids going back to school?
- 16:32Speaker 5: God, parents cheer if you can't wait? Oh they like
- 16:35Speaker 5: their kids. Oh that's kind of sweet.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I need to meet them and talk to them. How
- 16:39Speaker 4: do you do that? How do you call in over
- 16:41Speaker 4: with your kids?
- 16:42Speaker 3: I gotta learn.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I'm still out over Jim and a speed out. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:46Speaker 4: it's horrifying.
- 16:47Speaker 3: It's not. It looks like somebody broke out of a laboratory.
- 16:51Speaker 4: It looks like I'm an old Olympic swimmer that has
- 16:53Speaker 4: to do something to save the world.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Yeah, the future.
- 16:58Speaker 5: All right, who's gonna get their Mega Million's jackpot tonight?
- 17:01Speaker 5: Their tickets?
- 17:02Speaker 7: Last I saw it was five hundred and forty two
- 17:04Speaker 7: million dollars, but it's up now even more, I'm sure. So,
- 17:08Speaker 7: I'm not sure what the exact one is. At the moment,
- 17:13Speaker 7: you think you could handle that.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I could do that, five fifty I could do that.
- 17:15Speaker 4: I give everybody here least, I'd give every one of
- 17:19Speaker 4: you guys ten k everyone.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Everyone mark that. That's so easy, And you know, think
- 17:25Speaker 3: about that.
- 17:26Speaker 4: That's so easy to say.
- 17:29Speaker 3: That's my favorite part of that. It's just easy to say.
- 17:32Speaker 3: All Right.
- 17:32Speaker 4: It's gonna be awkward though, when you're like, all right,
- 17:34Speaker 4: who was there again?
- 17:37Speaker 3: You're gonna have to take record of everyone here.
- 17:41Speaker 7: Get my hair out of my face for this final story. Guys,
- 17:43Speaker 7: are you guys ready?
- 17:44Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, last story.
- 17:46Speaker 5: We've got a Florida woman's story.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Okay, thank you.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Today, old before you start now, the last Florida woman
- 17:53Speaker 4: story we had was a woman outside of a public
- 17:55Speaker 4: here in Lake County with a pitchfork, with a pitchfork
- 17:58Speaker 4: and a whip selling Teddy Bears.
- 18:03Speaker 5: That's County tears, Lake County.
- 18:06Speaker 7: No, this is a Palm Bay woman who had an
- 18:11Speaker 7: abnormal abnormality show up in her quote unquote jail purse.
- 18:16Speaker 3: What's a hurse? Would anybody like to show everybody what
- 18:22Speaker 3: a jail purse is? Anybody? Not you, sir, you don't
- 18:26Speaker 3: have one? Later, all right.
- 18:28Speaker 7: A Palmbay woman was arrested over the weekend after she
- 18:30Speaker 7: was caught with cocaine in her quote lower region end
- 18:33Speaker 7: quote after a traffic sup Yeah. Barbara County Sheriff's Office
- 18:38Speaker 7: revealed that the woman, identified as thirty year old Reagan Cox.
- 18:43Speaker 3: No, that's too good.
- 18:47Speaker 4: She coveted that crime because of her last name with
- 18:50Speaker 4: an X with an ex yeah, which has been pulled
- 18:54Speaker 4: over and arrested on a charge of resisting without violent
- 18:57Speaker 4: Saturday morning.
- 18:57Speaker 7: But when she was being processed at the jail, the
- 19:00Speaker 7: scanner caught the quote unquote abnormality.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, she was fine, but her coach couldn't sleep
- 19:06Speaker 3: for a bunch.
- 19:07Speaker 7: There we go on her jail first, So the deputies
- 19:11Speaker 7: moved Cox to a changeout room, where she observed. She
- 19:15Speaker 7: was observed trying to cover her buttocks area with her hand.
- 19:19Speaker 5: I'm sorry, sir, you look terrified. Yeah, yeah yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 7: After moving her hand, a baggy dropped to the floor
- 19:25Speaker 7: containing approximately three point eight grams of cocaine. Got the
- 19:30Speaker 7: booger sugar up in her jail.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I just her pocket. I just watched three dudes. I
- 19:38Speaker 3: just watched three.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Dudes lick their gums. I just like, I just imagine
- 19:46Speaker 4: what that last one night stand was. That poor dude
- 19:49Speaker 4: was like, what is wrong with my wien? It's so funny, funny.
- 19:54Speaker 3: I can't feel it.
- 19:55Speaker 5: It's so funny.
- 19:55Speaker 7: You say that ross Because once the baggy dropped to
- 19:58Speaker 7: the floor, Cox teniously uttered that she didn't know anything
- 20:01Speaker 7: about the drugs and that someone must have put it there.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Quote during an intimate encounter.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Nobody's leaving behind blow, nobody's leaving that behind.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Nobody's going, oh, this seems like a good place for this.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I'll this in here. I'll just put it here for later.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Do you think of what it drops, she said, saying
- 20:27Speaker 4: I think I think the general human response to anything
- 20:30Speaker 4: falling out of your body should be I don't know
- 20:32Speaker 4: what that is.
- 20:34Speaker 3: It's not mine exactly.
- 20:36Speaker 7: So as a result of the incident, Cox now faces
- 20:38Speaker 7: additional charge of introducing a controlled substance into a detention facility.
- 20:42Speaker 7: Sheriff Wayne Ivy, who always loves going up against our
- 20:45Speaker 7: other favorite, Sheriff Grady judda Polk County said, quote, Folks,
- 20:50Speaker 7: if not realizing that someone left cocaine and your jail
- 20:53Speaker 7: purse is not a good enough reminder to not do drugs,
- 20:56Speaker 7: then I don't know what is end quote.
- 21:00Speaker 4: That's the closest Florida we'll ever get to snowing.
- 21:04Speaker 3: That's Florida snow.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Van's cocaine in a jail cell, that's Florida weather.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'm dreaming.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Oh Christmas, not mine.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Oh God did that with coach Kine And that.
- 21:24Speaker 7: Concludes your JCS NEWSCA.
- 21:30Speaker 4: All right Boro seven night one six one of the
- 21:32Speaker 4: four one text seven seven zero three one single break
- 21:34Speaker 4: will come back in who Imbers.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Only and Hi guys going back took over show ro.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Radio one for one, broadcasting live from Whiskey Kitchen next
- 21:42Speaker 4: them not Now Freedom on the water Front, of course,
- 21:46Speaker 4: celebrating America's two hundred and fiftieth an everge, so we
- 21:49Speaker 4: do this in style. Not only do we have local
- 21:52Speaker 4: legend cat Ridgeway playing tonight, but we also have some
- 21:55Speaker 4: legends as well, two time Grammy nominated Tonic playing tonight.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You guys, get it up for Emerson and dun Wow, dude,
- 22:05Speaker 3: how crazy? Right? Like what a ride? I mean?
- 22:08Speaker 11: This is everybody's been so lovely here. It's absolutely been.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Amazing, Absolutely been amazing. And you know, guys, thank you
- 22:15Speaker 4: for coming out and doing the show. I know that
- 22:17Speaker 4: this is kind of far removed probably from what you're
- 22:19Speaker 4: used to, you know, big stages, big crowd stuff like that.
- 22:22Speaker 4: This is gonna be a great time tonight. These people
- 22:24Speaker 4: really enjoy and appreciate you guys coming out and having
- 22:27Speaker 4: a fun tonight and playing a big show tonight.
- 22:28Speaker 3: You guys excited. Absolutely Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 11: I mean it's the weather's perfect, the stage is perf
- 22:33Speaker 11: the view from the stage is perfect, the beer is cold,
- 22:36Speaker 11: it's all.
- 22:37Speaker 3: The boxes are getting checked. We're a good shame. So
- 22:40Speaker 3: what can people expect from a Tonic show?
- 22:42Speaker 4: You know, I was telling everybody on the air yesterday
- 22:44Speaker 4: that I went in YouTube you guys to see let's
- 22:47Speaker 4: see what Tonic looks like in twenty twenty six. So
- 22:49Speaker 4: you guys played a couple of show from two years
- 22:51Speaker 4: ago and I was like, these guys looked like they
- 22:53Speaker 4: did thirty years ago. You guys look amazing and by
- 22:56Speaker 4: the way, sound even better. Like how have you guys
- 22:59Speaker 4: kept that like unity between the two of you and
- 23:02Speaker 4: keep the band going for thirty five years?
- 23:05Speaker 3: It's a long time.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Yeah, five years in this business is quite an accomplishment.
- 23:11Speaker 4: I mean, what do you think, what do you think
- 23:12Speaker 4: did it.
- 23:12Speaker 3: For you guys? I think wine? A lot of wine. Wine?
- 23:16Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, you know what, we really enjoy it still.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's that's a huge, huge thing.
- 23:23Speaker 13: It's like if you do what you love, you know,
- 23:25Speaker 13: you're just it's kind of a cliche, but you really
- 23:28Speaker 13: doesn't feel like working. We get to come out and
- 23:30Speaker 13: met peak good people like this. Yeah, yeah, play music
- 23:33Speaker 13: that we we created and it's.
- 23:35Speaker 3: What could be better? Yeah? No, I mean what could
- 23:37Speaker 3: be better?
- 23:38Speaker 4: And you guys kind of met organically, did you not,
- 23:40Speaker 4: the two of you guys, and that's kind of what
- 23:42Speaker 4: kicked everything off.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much.
- 23:44Speaker 11: Yeah, we were just Dan was in another band at
- 23:47Speaker 11: the time, right before Tonic was about to come out,
- 23:49Speaker 11: and we had already made the record, and he he
- 23:52Speaker 11: he and I used to drink together at a place
- 23:54Speaker 11: called Molly Malone's in California, Los Angeles.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Well we both lived, you know, in LA years ago.
- 23:59Speaker 11: And yeah, we uh we shared a lot of pints
- 24:02Speaker 11: and I just realized that I would much rather play
- 24:04Speaker 11: music with him, so he he was kind enough to
- 24:07Speaker 11: join the band, and uh, and you know the rest
- 24:10Speaker 11: is history.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Isn't that kind of I mean when you see bands,
- 24:12Speaker 4: you know, you see bands like Van Halen and bands
- 24:14Speaker 4: that go through these strifes internally, they you know, they
- 24:16Speaker 4: wind up hating each other's guts, they break up after
- 24:18Speaker 4: a while. You could throw that to excellent Slash and
- 24:21Speaker 4: many bands, wouldn't you guys say that maybe the longevity
- 24:24Speaker 4: aspect is just knowing and learning how to get along
- 24:27Speaker 4: with each other through the success, through the money, through
- 24:30Speaker 4: all the things that you struggled to do.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Would you guys say that that's part of it? Maybe? Yeah?
- 24:34Speaker 13: I mean, we we also had a little bit of
- 24:36Speaker 13: a We took a little bit of a break, you know,
- 24:38Speaker 13: like there was like when we had kids and things.
- 24:42Speaker 13: You know, everybody had a moment, yeah, to go try
- 24:45Speaker 13: other things.
- 24:45Speaker 3: It was cool.
- 24:46Speaker 11: It wasn't really like an open marriage. But you know,
- 24:48Speaker 11: we just we you know, we were just kind of exploring. Yeah, yes,
- 24:52Speaker 11: where we were just exploring our options.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah. You guys still write songs. Oh yeah, we still work.
- 24:56Speaker 11: I mean we man, I just we've been so busy
- 25:01Speaker 11: that when you're when you have like, for me, I'm
- 25:03Speaker 11: doing it again. I have a young family, and so
- 25:06Speaker 11: right now having the brain power to be able to
- 25:10Speaker 11: focus on something is real, real hard. Really, it's like
- 25:14Speaker 11: sitting down to write. I mean, but you know, we
- 25:16Speaker 11: still get together and you know, we wrote a couple
- 25:18Speaker 11: of songs not too long ago. I mean, so you
- 25:20Speaker 11: know we're still doing it. Compare touring to raising kids,
- 25:23Speaker 11: Well one's harder.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Yeah, which one?
- 25:28Speaker 13: We let the parents out there figure that out, Yeah, exactly.
- 25:31Speaker 4: You know, we talk to touring comedians and stuff like
- 25:33Speaker 4: that all the time, and every single one of them
- 25:35Speaker 4: to the point has told us, look, love my art,
- 25:37Speaker 4: love what I do. The road is absolutely hell. It's brutal.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Either you love it or you hate it, or you
- 25:44Speaker 4: learn how to deal with it. It's almost psychological.
- 25:47Speaker 11: Yeah, I think that we're just after thirty plus years
- 25:50Speaker 11: on the road, we are completely.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Completely used to it. Oh really, yeah, I don't.
- 25:55Speaker 11: I mean I don't when we get a hot like well,
- 25:58Speaker 11: I'll be up at four in the morning in the
- 26:00Speaker 11: lobbying on the way to the airport after you know,
- 26:02Speaker 11: whenever on Sunday, And that's just what it is. You
- 26:05Speaker 11: just get used to it, you know, and you go
- 26:07Speaker 11: home and then you get handed a hot potato and
- 26:10Speaker 11: you you know, you take the case to the pool
- 26:12Speaker 11: and you try to stay awake, and yeah, that's what
- 26:14Speaker 11: it is.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Uh.
- 26:15Speaker 11: Where'd the band name go from? It's a musical term. Actually,
- 26:19Speaker 11: we in rehearsal, somebody said, go to the tonic, which
- 26:21Speaker 11: means go to the one. Yeah, the one that's right,
- 26:23Speaker 11: so uh, and it just kind of stuck.
- 26:26Speaker 4: So that's cool. How long did you guys play before
- 26:30Speaker 4: your record hit? Isn't that kind of a weird thing?
- 26:32Speaker 3: Did you? You guys wrote the record first and then
- 26:34Speaker 3: got discovered later or no? Uh no.
- 26:36Speaker 11: We we were a band in Los Angeles playing around
- 26:40Speaker 11: LA We did the Mint on Sunday nights, Viper rooms
- 26:44Speaker 11: every other Friday, and we would do that and then
- 26:47Speaker 11: you know, we when we signed the record deal Halloween night,
- 26:51Speaker 11: we went finished the record and then then the old
- 26:54Speaker 11: days bands would go out on tour for a year
- 26:56Speaker 11: before the record came out. So they put us in
- 26:58Speaker 11: a van and we.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Tore you went, Yeah, wow, man, did you guys tour
- 27:01Speaker 4: the any bands you could?
- 27:02Speaker 6: You?
- 27:02Speaker 4: I mean, like bands that from that nineties band Like,
- 27:05Speaker 4: give us an idea of other bands you toured with?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Mean, we toured with everybody.
- 27:09Speaker 11: We were on tour with the Gooo Dolls Forever, Thurday
- 27:11Speaker 11: Blind uh from Metallica st P.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, like.
- 27:17Speaker 13: We were just talking about opening up for Skinner the
- 27:18Speaker 13: other day. Yeah, you know, we were both fans as
- 27:23Speaker 13: we were yeah kids, and that was a real experience.
- 27:27Speaker 14: They sound very very authentic.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah really, I mean and freaking met Luck like all
- 27:31Speaker 3: those just good.
- 27:32Speaker 4: People, right, and that's kind of I mean, that's where
- 27:33Speaker 4: they made their money. I Mean, the thing is with Skinner,
- 27:35Speaker 4: you go see them, and you would if you close
- 27:37Speaker 4: your eyes, you you didn't know. If they just put
- 27:38Speaker 4: the record on, it would be amazing. Note for note exactly.
- 27:42Speaker 4: There was no improvising with those guys. They wanted to
- 27:44Speaker 4: give that experience. I'm from a small town near Jacksonville,
- 27:47Speaker 4: So the Skinner thing and Bally Hatchett and Black Oak
- 27:49Speaker 4: Arkansas and all those bands I kind of bled down
- 27:52Speaker 4: in and uh and that was the greatest. I mean,
- 27:55Speaker 4: that's you know, Southern rock was kind of what we
- 27:57Speaker 4: grew up on. What were you guys influenced by when
- 27:59Speaker 4: you were younger?
- 28:01Speaker 11: I had older sisters, so it was like Aerosmith led Zeppelin,
- 28:05Speaker 11: you know, really kind of heavy rock.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Right right right as a child rock Beatles Zeppelin, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 4: And how do you guys use your influences to write him?
- 28:11Speaker 4: Because your melodies are very kind of Beatles esque, good melodies,
- 28:15Speaker 4: you know, good song.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I mean, is that where you guys threw that from?
- 28:18Speaker 11: I mean, I think you're just programmed by the you
- 28:20Speaker 11: know what, in my opinion was the best in pop music.
- 28:22Speaker 3: So I mean we you know that programming is in
- 28:25Speaker 3: your brain.
- 28:25Speaker 14: It's just what it is.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:27Speaker 10: On weekends here on Real Radio, we play classic alternative
- 28:30Speaker 10: music and we feature you guys prominently if you can
- 28:34Speaker 10: only see plays, I mean every weekend. That wasn't originally
- 28:38Speaker 10: released as a single. What was the story behind that
- 28:41Speaker 10: and and how it get out and why it wasn't
- 28:43Speaker 10: a single?
- 28:44Speaker 11: Well, I mean I think when I wrote it, I
- 28:46Speaker 11: didn't really. I felt it was too personal. I didn't
- 28:48Speaker 11: want to put it on the record, and the label
- 28:50Speaker 11: was like, are you out of your mind?
- 28:52Speaker 3: That's what we do, that's what we do. We're in
- 28:54Speaker 3: the record business.
- 28:55Speaker 11: But we Our first single was open Up Your Eyes
- 28:58Speaker 11: that went to number one at rock radio, and then
- 29:00Speaker 11: they were gonna go to Casual Affair was the second single,
- 29:06Speaker 11: and Kevin Weatherley from K Rock and Los Angeles just like, Nope,
- 29:09Speaker 11: this is going to be the next single, and he
- 29:11Speaker 11: played it and then everybody added it. So we had
- 29:13Speaker 11: to change gears in the middle of a campaign to
- 29:16Speaker 11: have we wanted one more like heavy rock song and
- 29:19Speaker 11: then release that. You know, if you can only see that,
- 29:22Speaker 11: they were like, it's thirty some it's thirty years this
- 29:25Speaker 11: summer and we're sitting here talking about it.
- 29:27Speaker 3: So if something works, ye.
- 29:28Speaker 4: So unbelievable, it really is. Do you guys, I mean,
- 29:30Speaker 4: do you guys collectively understand, like, hey, look we're gonna
- 29:32Speaker 4: tour this year, They're gonna take six months off. I mean,
- 29:35Speaker 4: you guys have that kind of relationship because you hear
- 29:37Speaker 4: sometimes they like I was just watching a thing on
- 29:39Speaker 4: Steely Dan today, you know, and Steely Dan kind of
- 29:41Speaker 4: weird because the two guys Fagan in Becker Becker they
- 29:46Speaker 4: hated touring, and when they stopped touring, their band is like,
- 29:48Speaker 4: well I'm going here on one of the Doobie Brothers,
- 29:50Speaker 4: I'm going here the other. Because they had to have
- 29:51Speaker 4: that unified idea of touring. Some guys don't like it,
- 29:53Speaker 4: some guys like it. So you guys can can come
- 29:56Speaker 4: up with a schedule or do you guys just take
- 29:58Speaker 4: gigs when they come?
- 29:59Speaker 13: No, I think right now, like we you know, we
- 30:02Speaker 13: talked to our management about this and our agent and
- 30:05Speaker 13: we were by design. Right now, we're in a bit
- 30:07Speaker 13: of a weekend warrior thing where we'll go out on
- 30:10Speaker 13: a Thursday, play Friday, Saturday, come home Sunday. And particularly
- 30:13Speaker 13: for someone with the young kids, Everson has the boys,
- 30:17Speaker 13: so like it works, you know, and I love it too, like, yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 13: you know, it's a great not a bad way to live.
- 30:23Speaker 11: Yeah, not a bad way to wave that first record.
- 30:25Speaker 11: We were home for twenty days and two and a
- 30:27Speaker 11: half years. Yeah, I mean, wow, that was a different time.
- 30:30Speaker 11: That's a different time. Like we can't do that anymore.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Yeah, no way, that won't kill you. Yeah, and your
- 30:34Speaker 3: family and your and your of those things. Yeah, relationships.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Were you guys able to I don't really know the
- 30:41Speaker 4: history of this, so pardon me if it's out. Were
- 30:44Speaker 4: you guys able to avoid a lot of the substance
- 30:46Speaker 4: stuff as you watched other bands like Nirvana and all
- 30:49Speaker 4: these other bands Alison Chains and I know that's a
- 30:51Speaker 4: different genre than you, but in the same time frame, right.
- 30:54Speaker 11: Well, I mean we you know the SGP, I mean,
- 30:57Speaker 11: Scott Theres place was right next to it, wasn't really Yeah,
- 31:01Speaker 11: I mean yeah, we luckily I think I for me,
- 31:04Speaker 11: at least personally, I got most of those party habits
- 31:06Speaker 11: out of my my system when I was in my
- 31:09Speaker 11: late teens early twenty oh really, so by the time
- 31:11Speaker 11: I moved to Los Angeles, I just all I did
- 31:13Speaker 11: was drink really once in a while, Like I didn't
- 31:15Speaker 11: drink a lot. Like we weren't heavy partiers on the road,
- 31:18Speaker 11: which I think is probably why we're still a love Yeah. Yeah, goodah, everybody.
- 31:22Speaker 11: We have a lot of friends who didn't come.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah. Did you guys know Scott that well?

- 31:41Speaker 4: missed a note, never sing off. He gave the best
- 31:44Speaker 4: show ever and at any moment we felt this guy

- 32:16Speaker 4: Delia brothers talking, They're like, yeah, we were writing the song,

- 47:27Speaker 7: I don't see Taylor getting married at Madison Square Garden.
- 47:31Speaker 3: How much do you think? Can you guys hear me?
- 47:33Speaker 5: By the way, can you guys hear yeah?
- 47:34Speaker 3: Car good?
- 47:35Speaker 5: How much do you.
- 47:36Speaker 4: They estimate the Travis Kelce Taylor Swift wedding is gonna cost?
- 47:40Speaker 5: Probably about the same that minded how much three million?
- 47:46Speaker 5: Sixty million?
- 47:47Speaker 3: You said twenty one million.
- 47:49Speaker 4: The estimate is between twenty and thirty million dollars.
- 47:53Speaker 7: Wow, but you know they gave twenty six million away
- 47:56Speaker 7: to cheer it.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 47:57Speaker 4: The flowers alone at this wedding are supposed to be
- 47:59Speaker 4: a million and a half dollars. The lighting, the lighting
- 48:04Speaker 4: is supposed to be about a million and a half dollars. Yeah,
- 48:06Speaker 4: I know, incredible. Uh, dep was that about what your
- 48:10Speaker 4: wedding was?
- 48:11Speaker 11: Like?
- 48:11Speaker 4: Oh?
- 48:11Speaker 5: Absolutely?
- 48:12Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 48:13Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 48:14Speaker 8: No.
- 48:14Speaker 5: I didn't get my wedding dress at Macy's. No, no,
- 48:18Speaker 5: I did.
- 48:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 48:19Speaker 4: I heard a conversation today and I don't know about
- 48:21Speaker 4: you guys or what you think this may be, but
- 48:23Speaker 4: what do you think is the most American movie of
- 48:26Speaker 4: all time?
- 48:28Speaker 5: Top gun?
- 48:29Speaker 3: That's that's a good answer.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Oh what American graffiti? Okay, I'm gonna say back to
- 48:40Speaker 4: the future.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Back to the future explain.
- 48:42Speaker 8: Uh.
- 48:43Speaker 4: It is just the peak of what America cinema can produce.
- 48:47Speaker 4: There's no other country that could make back to the
- 48:49Speaker 4: future then or now.
- 48:52Speaker 3: It is a sign of the times.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Of what our booming cinema industry was at in that
- 48:58Speaker 4: late eighties. And I don't know why, but I get
- 49:00Speaker 4: a little American boner.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Whenever I watch.
- 49:04Speaker 5: A family show, Hey, everyone leaves a needs a flagpole?
- 49:08Speaker 4: Yeah, right, exactly, But yeah, I would say back to
- 49:11Speaker 4: the future.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Do you know that there's ten writers.
- 49:14Speaker 4: Ten screenwriters came together to try to figure this out,
- 49:17Speaker 4: and they said that the movie Dazed and Confused, what
- 49:20Speaker 4: was one of the best American movies to represent Americana
- 49:23Speaker 4: of all of them. All the weed heads are clapping, No.
- 49:25Speaker 5: Let's go plug, let's go fiction with the gimp in
- 49:29Speaker 5: the box right.
- 49:31Speaker 4: Actually in a movie from Florida, they say the Florida Project.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Oh that the workers that.
- 49:37Speaker 7: Also was yeah, live in the motels. American summer oh man.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:43Speaker 4: I also like Jev's suggestion of Independence Day because you
- 49:46Speaker 4: have the go to monologue yea July fourth, Yes, and
- 49:52Speaker 4: sure in the beginning we kind of like watch it
- 49:54Speaker 4: and now it's full circle.
- 49:55Speaker 3: It's just back to being cool.
- 49:57Speaker 4: One of the ones I did not understand until I
- 50:00Speaker 4: to thinking about it because of the speech that the
- 50:02Speaker 4: guy gives during the movie and he talks about lamenting
- 50:06Speaker 4: the death of what he knew as in America was
- 50:09Speaker 4: dirty dancing.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Okay, so you remember when the guy comes out and.
- 50:12Speaker 4: He's talking to the guy side stage, and he goes,
- 50:14Speaker 4: you know, kids don't want to come to clubs like
- 50:16Speaker 4: this anymore. They want to go travel Europe and they
- 50:18Speaker 4: want to go backpacking and stuff.
- 50:20Speaker 3: That was the death of an era.
- 50:22Speaker 4: And they said that that was part of like what
- 50:24Speaker 4: Americana because of the stage as we go through as
- 50:27Speaker 4: a people and as we move from like.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Culture to culture.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Never saw it.
- 50:31Speaker 4: You never saw dirty dancing, devra Havanah Knights.
- 50:36Speaker 7: Now I heard a dude from over there by the
- 50:39Speaker 7: see Naomi Bradshaw dot com hasn't either, Thank you from
- 50:42Speaker 7: another myster.
- 50:43Speaker 4: You're never seen dirty dancing. No, you don't know. You
- 50:48Speaker 4: don't know what love looks like. You don't know what
- 50:51Speaker 4: love looks like. She's married to me, of course she doesn't. No, no, no,
- 50:54Speaker 4: A marrying you doesn't. She means she doesn't know what
- 50:59Speaker 4: I undred dollars looks like. Yeah, man, dirty dancing. I'm like,
- 51:06Speaker 4: I don't know, man, is the top gun? That's a
- 51:08Speaker 4: damn good. I think the second one maybe even more
- 51:10Speaker 4: than the first one.
- 51:11Speaker 10: How about Jaws, oh texting service, And we got a
- 51:15Speaker 10: lot of Jaws coming in on the tech service.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Really Jaws Jaws to me is the first perfect movie.
- 51:20Speaker 4: It's also just the beginning of that is to me,
- 51:24Speaker 4: the beginning of like American influence globally when it comes
- 51:28Speaker 4: to moving pictures.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Bernie, Yeah, the summer blockbuster.
- 51:32Speaker 5: It's at Bernie.
- 51:34Speaker 3: I know one one franchise.
- 51:37Speaker 4: It's I'm not gonna say it's the most American, but
- 51:39Speaker 4: I do know it's the most American for a specific generation,
- 51:42Speaker 4: and that would be like millennial, maybe a elder millennial American.
- 51:47Speaker 4: Pie like rules.
- 51:50Speaker 3: American. That's the one where the guy makes love to
- 51:52Speaker 3: a pie.
- 51:53Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you know this one time at band camp.
- 51:55Speaker 3: It's also it's.
- 51:57Speaker 4: Also like millions of people's first, is it really? Which
- 52:01Speaker 4: also makes it to me one of the most American movies.
- 52:04Speaker 4: That wasn't your first boot book? It was not that
- 52:07Speaker 4: it was Winslet. Man, I'll never forget those winds lits.
- 52:10Speaker 4: I gotta tell you if there was a.
- 52:17Speaker 3: It was a nice said of Winslets. Yeah, it was
- 52:20Speaker 3: a nice dude. It was my first pair and I
- 52:23Speaker 3: was watching it with my mom.
- 52:24Speaker 7: Oh that made it awkward.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Listen, man, if you're thirty six, you probably watched Kate
- 52:29Speaker 4: Winslet undress herself in front of your parents.
- 52:32Speaker 3: No, you did not do that. Nobody said they did that.
- 52:34Speaker 3: A lot of people have done that. They're with me.
- 52:36Speaker 9: They won't make.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Noise, but they're with me. How was your flagpole that day?
- 52:39Speaker 3: It was not good? Yeah, I said, you know what's wild?
- 52:42Speaker 4: A couple of years later, we watched broke Back Mountain
- 52:44Speaker 4: God with your mom?
- 52:46Speaker 3: Yeah, with my mom. She thought it was just like
- 52:48Speaker 3: a Western.
- 52:52Speaker 5: It was mostly yeah, yeah, how does that saddle horn go?
- 52:57Speaker 3: And she just thought it was a really cool mountain.
- 52:59Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 53:01Speaker 3: What did your mom react? By the way, you guys
- 53:03Speaker 3: remember Kathy Pagrick she will kill you? Yeah? Yeah, she
- 53:07Speaker 3: just she loved movies.
- 53:08Speaker 4: So I got to watch a lot of out there
- 53:10Speaker 4: movies and all the big blockbusters, anything that was like
- 53:13Speaker 4: getting into pop culture.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Rated r PG thirteen. Yeah. How did she react to
- 53:18Speaker 3: Broke Back?
- 53:19Speaker 5: I mean we didn't.
- 53:20Speaker 3: We didn't look or talk to each other about it,
- 53:23Speaker 3: you know, we didn't.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Was that the that was the verry? I turned the
- 53:26Speaker 4: TV op and shuffle the bed. Good night, Ross, good night.
- 53:31Speaker 4: How did she react when it started happening?
- 53:33Speaker 6: Uh?
- 53:34Speaker 3: Jack, we just watched. We watched no eye contact between
- 53:38Speaker 3: the two of you.
- 53:38Speaker 5: No, Jack, it's not happening to you, dude, Ross.
- 53:42Speaker 3: She didn't excuse herself to the bathroom.
- 53:44Speaker 4: No, we just sat there in silence, really, and we
- 53:47Speaker 4: watched Jillen Hall just yeah, yeah, just Jill and yeah yeah.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Then we saw The Ledger.
- 53:55Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, Jillen Hall, Yeah, getting Old Jake. It was
- 54:01Speaker 4: something else, but the weirdest movie that I ever watched
- 54:05Speaker 4: with my mom by far. It's a deep cut scarlet
- 54:09Speaker 4: Johansen's one of her first movies. It was called it
- 54:11Speaker 4: was called match Point, match Point, and there is the
- 54:14Speaker 4: sexiest sex scene at that time that I had ever seen.
- 54:17Speaker 4: It had surpassed Titanic because she's making.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Love in a cornfield. Yeah yeah, and like I remember
- 54:24Speaker 3: what's it called match honey? Right that down? Yea, yeah,
- 54:27Speaker 3: it was called match Point.
- 54:28Speaker 4: Yeah and cornfield, dude, I was sweating, yeah yeah yeah
- 54:31Speaker 4: really is that.
- 54:35Speaker 3: The long Way kind of movie? Or yeah, yeah, it's Cornfield?
- 54:38Speaker 3: Was that with your mom as well? Yeah?
- 54:40Speaker 4: I watched that movie that was that was theaters. Okay,
- 54:43Speaker 4: so I've got one of those, and it's really I
- 54:45Speaker 4: just it just jarred my memory. Have you guys ever
- 54:48Speaker 4: seen the movie American Jigglow with Richard Gear yeah, no.
- 54:55Speaker 4: Did you notice the murmur when they said, yes, he's
- 54:58Speaker 4: a he's a jiggalo y And at one point he is, uh,
- 55:03Speaker 4: he's the customer of a guy.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Who is a cuckold.
- 55:05Speaker 4: Okay, he wants he hired this guy to make love
- 55:08Speaker 4: to his wife while he sat in the corner, and
- 55:11Speaker 4: he said something to Richard Gear to do to his wife.
- 55:14Speaker 4: And when my mom heard that, and she should have said, yeah,
- 55:18Speaker 4: this guy knows, he remembers he said, he.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Said, smacker, smacker right in the right Yeah.
- 55:25Speaker 4: And then my mom looked at me and said, jitty,
- 55:28Speaker 4: And I said, Mom, I'm in eighth grade.
- 55:30Speaker 3: She said, I hear this stuff all the time. But yeah,
- 55:38Speaker 3: it's not good.
- 55:39Speaker 4: Yeah, watching movies with your parents, Man, let's roll the
- 55:42Speaker 4: dice in those formative years when you're young and you're
- 55:45Speaker 4: getting that new high line of like content different, like, yo,
- 55:49Speaker 4: this is gonna go hard.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 55:51Speaker 5: Don't think Jack. Have you ever watched a movie like
- 55:53Speaker 5: that with your mom?
- 55:54Speaker 10: The last movie I watched with my mom was in
- 55:56Speaker 10: the movie theater and it was something called E t O.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Sorry tell how boring and wholesome?
- 56:05Speaker 10: Yeah, sorry, ross, no sex scene exactly.
- 56:07Speaker 4: No broke back with that, mama, you know, no needs
- 56:10Speaker 4: for an apology. There wasn't an intriguing finger, though, there
- 56:15Speaker 4: was a very intriguing finger. And if you're walking in
- 56:18Speaker 4: on just that scene, oh boy, where have you had that, sir?
- 56:23Speaker 4: If you're just walking in on the finger, you're gonna judge.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 4: And he didn't have questions, and he did not say
- 56:30Speaker 4: bone home. He clearly said bone home.
- 56:33Speaker 3: How about you? Did you?
- 56:35Speaker 13: No?
- 56:35Speaker 5: I can't.
- 56:35Speaker 4: I can you even remember? Can you even remember the
- 56:38Speaker 4: last movie you saw with your mother?
- 56:39Speaker 7: I think I walked in on them watching Magic mic
- 56:42Speaker 7: and hung around for a little Oh my god, right right,
- 56:49Speaker 7: you want to be very careful.
- 56:50Speaker 5: Yeah, where you watch that? Because it's gonna get that
- 56:52Speaker 5: motor running, and.
- 56:53Speaker 3: You would be very careful. Who you yell for Magic
- 56:55Speaker 3: Mic around?
- 56:57Speaker 5: Yeah, this's got a pocket full of ones.
- 57:02Speaker 3: This isn't a joke, this is actually serious.
- 57:03Speaker 4: I had a friend who was in Magic Mike's three, really,
- 57:06Speaker 4: and I remember talking to him about it and she
- 57:09Speaker 4: let me know the.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Like, yeah, no, they are hot. You think the movies attractive?
- 57:14Speaker 4: Imagine being on set when they're like all right, time
- 57:17Speaker 4: to get oiled?
- 57:18Speaker 3: Ult Yeah? Yeah, can you help me.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Ye had a buddy that was in that business for
- 57:25Speaker 4: a while and the adult business for a while.
- 57:27Speaker 5: Fluffer.
- 57:28Speaker 4: No, he was not a fluffer. He was actually a
- 57:33Speaker 4: guy who owned a company that kind of wined that stuff.
- 57:35Speaker 4: And he said, that is the that is a very
- 57:37Speaker 4: bizarre ilk of human being. The professional adult star is
- 57:42Speaker 4: they do not look at they don't look at they
- 57:45Speaker 4: don't look at physical intimacy the way that we look
- 57:47Speaker 4: at it.
- 57:48Speaker 7: It's kind of like when it was working with a groupie, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 57:51Speaker 7: They just have a completely different mindset.
- 57:53Speaker 4: All together for sure. All right, let's take a few
- 57:55Speaker 4: minutes and bring over t J. Ruggierio. He is from
- 57:58Speaker 4: Boston bear so same Adams. We also have some other
- 58:03Speaker 4: good stuff today. Oh yeah, and uh is this the
- 58:06Speaker 4: sun Taser thing or sun cruisers dude cruiser?
- 58:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 58:13Speaker 4: All right, just the heads up, we're already on strike
- 58:15Speaker 4: one today. There will be no cursing. Good luck, dot
- 58:17Speaker 4: speed all.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Right, good to know there.
- 58:19Speaker 4: You have to change my speech now, Yeah, TJ.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Hay doing, buddy, I'm doing fabulous. How are we doing out.
- 58:25Speaker 18: Dora, Yeah, hope anyone's having a great time.
- 58:29Speaker 3: We do some familiar faces from this morning?
- 58:31Speaker 18: Yeah, yeah, this one right here especially, Yeah.
- 58:34Speaker 3: How's the Is this a new brand for you guys?
- 58:36Speaker 18: A sunt cruiser brand sun Cruise we've been off for
- 58:38Speaker 18: about two years now, right, yeah.
- 58:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:40Speaker 18: For the For the uninitiated, I guess I'll say the
- 58:44Speaker 18: you know, the bosson of your company started back in
- 58:46Speaker 18: nineteen eighty four, Jim Cook, you're Sam Adams. Then I
- 58:49Speaker 18: went into Angry Orchard, Twisted Tea, Truly, heart Seltzer, Dogfish,
- 58:53Speaker 18: head Craft Beers. Yes, and now we'll go now the
- 58:55Speaker 18: end of this new era, tastes are changing and we're
- 58:57Speaker 18: getting into the canned cocktail business. Yeah, and that's our
- 59:01Speaker 18: sun Cruiser and Sinless.
- 59:04Speaker 3: What now what a Sinless? Is that an alcohol free version?
- 59:07Speaker 3: Oh god?
- 59:07Speaker 4: No, okay, sorry I mentioned.
- 59:12Speaker 3: That they would run.
- 59:13Speaker 18: They would run me out of here if I run
- 59:14Speaker 18: it a non alcoholic. But yeah, So for those I
- 59:17Speaker 18: guess we're unfamiliar, don't worry. You need to try some
- 59:19Speaker 18: here Sun Cruiser. It's a non carbonated. He'll let you
- 59:22Speaker 18: get that one there.
- 59:23Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 59:24Speaker 4: That's a new thing, right, Like I just read a
- 59:26Speaker 4: story about the other the idea like the Seltzer thing
- 59:29Speaker 4: is not dying per se, but the taste is changing
- 59:32Speaker 4: and the carbonation is not out.
- 59:34Speaker 18: Yeah, Celtsiers or seltziers, they perform really well in some
- 59:36Speaker 18: markets other ones. Uh, you know, people don't want as
- 59:39Speaker 18: many bubbles. They don't want to be burping all the place.
- 59:41Speaker 18: And uh, you know, I me personally, I like my
- 59:44Speaker 18: ave my beer, but I also listening to narc Combinator,
- 59:46Speaker 18: especially I'm golfing, so I'm not burping or I can
- 59:49Speaker 18: most not a few more. And uh, what's really exciting
- 59:51Speaker 18: about the sun Cruisers here is that it's only one
- 59:53Speaker 18: hundred calories one gram of sugar, two carbs. It uses
- 59:57Speaker 18: a real Argentinian black tea and it's a six time.
- 1:00:00Speaker 18: I'm just still premium vadkus. So this is like the
- 1:00:01Speaker 18: top shelf stuff we make it in house.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:00:03Speaker 18: Really Yeah, So it goes down a little bit too smooth.
- 1:00:05Speaker 18: I've I've uh learned that the hard way. Haven't war
- 1:00:07Speaker 18: my lesson yet though.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Yeah yeah yeah, without the without the seltzer in there,
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: you can kind of power it down. It's just like
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: drinking cold tea, absolutely, and you do get a little
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: of a vodka in there, but it isn't overwhelming, and
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: you would think it would be a teacause tea's very
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: very kind of easy to overwhelm.
- 1:00:21Speaker 18: Yeah, it's it's it is a very mild taste tea
- 1:00:23Speaker 18: in general. And I will say this is four and
- 1:00:25Speaker 18: a half percent alcohol. But honestly, and you've be the judge, Honestly, it's, uh,
- 1:00:30Speaker 18: you don't really taste the alcohol on these, and that
- 1:00:32Speaker 18: could gets you into some trouble, do not.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that is the biggest problem. But you know,
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: it's it's a good problem to have.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: My Wow, this is very refreshing tea. I gotta tell you,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: this is a weird kind of come around. You know.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: I've been in this business for quite.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: A while, like thirty three thirty four years for doing this,
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: and a lot of these people out here have been
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: listening for quite a while, Like how many you guys
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: have been listening more than like ten fifteen years?
- 1:00:52Speaker 18: Yeah, yeah, I'm I'm a gentleman's side. Actually he's been
- 1:00:55Speaker 18: He's been a listener for the whole thirty years. Actually,
- 1:00:57Speaker 18: it's crazy.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: So but the reason I'm bringing that up is our
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: first big interview with a really big celebrity that we
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: had back in nineteen ninety three was Jim Cook.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: And the funny thing about Jim was this Jim Cook.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: If you guys don't know as the owner of Boston Mirror,
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: was he still is?
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, he's still uncle. Jim's still kicking. He's a
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: great time.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: And I'll tell you what's unique about him is this.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: He came into the studio. We were doing a weekend
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: morning show. We weren't even on in a primetime slot,
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: and we would never think anybody of that importance would
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: show up to talk to three complete dufases at seven
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: in the morning on like a Saturday. This guy not
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: only showed up, he had two guys with him and
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: they had a pool behind cooler. And I'll never forget.
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: He comes in, he opens the cooler, he cracks everybody
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: a beer. He's smiling the entire time, never says a word,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: pours it into a glass.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: And then what do you think he does with the
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: bottle cap that I'm not sure if I know? He
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: shoes on his beer.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: He floats it right on the top of the head,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: because that's what they were advertising at the time.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: A head's so thick it'll hold it there.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: And he did that, and he drank the entire thing
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: in one drink, and then we did the interview and
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: he was the nicest guy ever.
- 1:02:02Speaker 18: No, he's such a sweethearts here. I think you know,
- 1:02:06Speaker 18: when he's drinking, he's quite the personality. Yea, yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:09Speaker 18: he's a lot of fun dude, absolutely.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Yeah. How long you been with those guys, I've.
- 1:02:12Speaker 18: Been with the Boston of your company. So I'll give
- 1:02:13Speaker 18: you a little brief history lesson here. I went to
- 1:02:15Speaker 18: UCF charge on yeah, yeah, and my senior year I
- 1:02:18Speaker 18: was picked up as a brand ambassador. So usually they
- 1:02:21Speaker 18: hired the really pretty girls to hang out samples and shirts. Somehow,
- 1:02:24Speaker 18: my ugly mug made it through the hiring process and
- 1:02:27Speaker 18: after about three or four that they decide, okay, this
- 1:02:30Speaker 18: guy can do. Let's get him my sales jobs. Now
- 1:02:31Speaker 18: I actually work in sales. I sell the beer in
- 1:02:34Speaker 18: the packages all to the bars in Orlando and Donna
- 1:02:36Speaker 18: Bervard very.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Nice and we love having you as part of this.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: This project. This freaedom on the waterfront is like one
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: of the coolest things. Yeah, it really is.
- 1:02:44Speaker 18: I was over the venue early helping set up with
- 1:02:45Speaker 18: my ain man Brendan over there from a Brandon from
- 1:02:47Speaker 18: Yeah FDC and you guys were in for a hell
- 1:02:49Speaker 18: of retreats me a great time.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: Oh right on, man, Well thanks for coming by. We
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: appreciate it so much. Hey, don't forget. Where can we
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: get these sun Cruises by the way, cruise? Oh my gosh,
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: Well you get him right here. You can get them
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: at the venue there's I would say a bunch of
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: the bars around here. You know, we had him over
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: at at the back Porch Pizza earlier.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: I would say a.
- 1:03:04Speaker 18: Majority of the bars, and they are carrying sun Cruiser
- 1:03:06Speaker 18: Sam Adams Summer Ail, which are another number one season'll
- 1:03:09Speaker 18: end uh for the summer in terms of craft beer.
- 1:03:12Speaker 18: And then Sinless are brand new one. This is I
- 1:03:13Speaker 18: just talked to it about Sinless. Yeah yeah, yeah, come
- 1:03:17Speaker 18: on me, you drunk, so yeah, I mean we're not working.
- 1:03:20Speaker 18: Let's do it exactly. I don't have a hard time
- 1:03:23Speaker 18: believe that I'm working right now. Yeah yeah, So Sinless
- 1:03:25Speaker 18: he used the same high quality vodka as sun Cruiser,
- 1:03:28Speaker 18: but instead of a tea or a lemonade, it's actually
- 1:03:30Speaker 18: using a you know, fruit juice. This is a full flavor,
- 1:03:32Speaker 18: zero carb, zero sugar, hundred calories, lightly sparkling.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: These aren't gonna give you the burps like a Seltzer would.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: They go down way too easy? This is like a
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: vodka Cran Vodka Cran and the can baby. Oh my god, dude,
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: that's just missing ice on a little bit of lime
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: and you're ready to go.
- 1:03:47Speaker 18: I'll tell you right now. They a little shot of
- 1:03:49Speaker 18: some kind of flavored vodka. Is someone with the limber
- 1:03:50Speaker 18: lemon variety topped that on topic?
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Yeah, he's really good. Can you get the stuff retail yet?
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: Yes?
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: We actually had a bog about public a couple of
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: weeks ago.
- 1:03:57Speaker 18: Way, Yeah, so this is a Florida is one of
- 1:03:59Speaker 18: them markets for it you find in your bars and
- 1:04:01Speaker 18: your stores all over the place.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: And it's a very good time. Dude. We appreciate it.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: We can't wish this a little bit later years. Give
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: it up for to Jay. All right, all right, four
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: seven to seven here or three one back in a
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: second with more than jump.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Govertwo broadcasting from Moundora presented Biting Bass.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: This is the Jim Colbert Show Live from Whiskey Kitchen.

- 1:04:54Speaker 3: There's death Hello, Jack is here? Hi there, and so
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: is Ross season there. But now we have a ignitary
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: guys behavior. You guys, you guys, give it up. Good
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: lad for the mayor Mount door, mister James. How's it
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: going there? Oh, going very very good.
- 1:05:16Speaker 14: I'm just glad you brought me on the segment after
- 1:05:18Speaker 14: the beer.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Yes, but we brought you on before. How you doing today, buddy,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: I'm doing great.
- 1:05:27Speaker 12: Hey.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: Are days like this stressful for you because of all
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: the stuff going. I mean, I know the Mount Dora
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: is already, like I mean, one of the festival cities
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: of our entire state, but you know this is different.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: It's America's two hundred fiftieth birthday party. You know, we're
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: asking people to come down and party and enjoy the city.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Any extra pressure for you guys like you, Not for me.
- 1:05:45Speaker 14: I mean our staff does a wonderful job setting everything up, Chris,
- 1:05:50Speaker 14: with the events and the police, they are all very
- 1:05:55Speaker 14: make my job very yes, very.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Easy, right yeah, yeah, yeah. He talk raight into the
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: area that they're dying here everywhere.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: You have to say.
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: He did threaten he was going to do shots with
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: us before, but I guess he's not going to do shots.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: It's so funny. You know, you're you're a mayor of
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: a small, quaint town. It's weird. There's a there's a reputation.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: I think a lot of.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: People like have of people who do this job. Is
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: it what you thought it was going to be when
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: you ran for mayor? Is it exactly how you kind
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: of envisioned it?
- 1:06:24Speaker 14: Well? I never thought of the public appearance side of this.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Oh you never surprise. This is a very public job, dude,
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: especially in a city like this. Are you enjoying it?
- 1:06:37Speaker 14: I was just on TV this morning?
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Or you really are you? I never thought of that?
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Does this make you uncomfortable.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: This kind of thing that's really it should never do.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: Here's the thing you've already won. I mean, you're the
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: mayor of one of the one of people's favorite cities
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: in the entire state of Florida.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: You don't, you don't have a lot to do.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: It's great to make you feel better.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: She just are I go, you're fired. Yeah, you're fired.
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: You're fired.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: So you know when you're It seems like this kind
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: of runs by itself, like if you were an outside
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: in you know, you were Mount Dora. It just seems
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: like the city wakes up in the morning, does its thing,
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: and then goes to bed at night, like it doesn't
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: really need management per se.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: What's your number one job here at Mount Dora.
- 1:07:20Speaker 14: Well, that's just setting policy. We have a council manager
- 1:07:23Speaker 14: form of government. So Ben Sanders FIL's city manager. He
- 1:07:26Speaker 14: does all the day to day operations and we come
- 1:07:30Speaker 14: along every other week and tell him what to do.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Yes, what did you do before this?
- 1:07:37Speaker 14: I'm a lawyer, your an attorney. Yes, I got my
- 1:07:40Speaker 14: office here about two blocks away in there thirty years.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: And what motivated you to I mean, like that's not
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: a hard enough job already what motivated you to want
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: to be the mayor.
- 1:07:49Speaker 14: Well, it wasn't to be the mayor. It was community service.
- 1:07:53Speaker 14: That's what I look at as Oh yea, I was
- 1:07:55Speaker 14: in the post guard. I've always been looking for a
- 1:07:58Speaker 14: community service.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Really.
- 1:08:00Speaker 14: I coached the local high school team for five years,
- 1:08:02Speaker 14: the soccer team, of course.
- 1:08:03Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Basically, yeah, where are you from? Originally?
- 1:08:08Speaker 14: I was born in Spain. My dad was Air Force. Yes,
- 1:08:11Speaker 14: we ended up. His last tour was here at McCoy.
- 1:08:15Speaker 14: Oh wow, that's where we ended up. He's figured Orlando
- 1:08:22Speaker 14: would be a nice, quiet city in the middle of
- 1:08:23Speaker 14: the state, away from the beaches. Yeah, and they announced
- 1:08:27Speaker 14: Disney a year later, and anybody house up here at
- 1:08:30Speaker 14: Mount dor smart smart soccer huge really yeah, of course.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: I mean you being born in Spain, I mean you're
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: almost like in Doctrinita with it when you were born
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: there to begin with, or when you live there, right, Well,
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: my dad was big soccer.
- 1:08:44Speaker 14: He was a ref in the n A s L
- 1:08:46Speaker 14: and we would we did the last World Cup all
- 1:08:49Speaker 14: through the country, so yeah, soccer has been.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: In my blood.
- 1:08:53Speaker 14: My dad used to go a wall in Vietnam to
- 1:08:57Speaker 14: play with the localists. No really, yeah, that's unbelievable. It'll
- 1:09:03Speaker 14: be been all over the place seeing games.
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: You guys had a great watch party here at Sunset
- 1:09:08Speaker 10: Park for Team the Team USA match on Thursday night.
- 1:09:11Speaker 14: Yes it was. It was much larger turnout expected for
- 1:09:15Speaker 14: a small town.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: And and by the way, we're doing it again on Monday,
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: are we not. Yes, we are. And you're gonna save
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: me a seat. I'll be down there with my wife.
- 1:09:23Speaker 14: I'll get a lounge chair for you.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: And by the way, if you didn't get a chance
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: to go down to Sunset Park to watch the World
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: Cup match, it was absolutely packed and the environment was unbelievable.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: And they're gonna do it again Monday night.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: So if you have an opportunity, slide over another great
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: watch party and see if the US can make it
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: past the round to sixteen.
- 1:09:41Speaker 14: I knew everyone was invested when they all stood for
- 1:09:44Speaker 14: the national anthem.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah they are. That's Jimmy's type of
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: crowd right there.
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: I get ragged on all the time because I had
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: a Super Bowl party at my house and when they
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: played the national anthem, I made everybody my party stand up.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: You're kind of guy, right.
- 1:09:59Speaker 14: I went I was just saying if people would do
- 1:10:02Speaker 14: it on their own and there was no hesitation, Yeah,
- 1:10:05Speaker 14: that's awesome. So it was good spirit.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: What's your favorite part of being mayor this part? Yeah,
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: it's definitely this part.
- 1:10:13Speaker 14: I enjoyed meeting the people and that sort of thing.
- 1:10:16Speaker 14: Just yeah, to help the community and very nice. That's
- 1:10:19Speaker 14: really community service.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Like I said, Yeah, in this last year wasn't the
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: easiest for Mount Dora.
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: I mean, we had some really nasty weather to cast
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: some major problems down there, and uh, you know, and
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: you guys kind of came together and made that happen.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: Was that a tough time for you guys?
- 1:10:33Speaker 14: Well, I mean not tough, but it took a lot
- 1:10:35Speaker 14: of work and yeah, and staff had to put in
- 1:10:37Speaker 14: extra time and all that sort of thing.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: But it was beautiful.
- 1:10:40Speaker 14: You know, the community understood got together and there wasn't
- 1:10:45Speaker 14: everyone did the world detours?
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: What I mean, as we wrap up here, what are
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: the future plans like when you look at your vision
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: of what Mount Dora looks like in the next four
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: or five years or for your tenure, what are you thinking?
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: What changes are going to make? How are you gonna
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: put your stamp on it?
- 1:11:01Speaker 14: Trying to not put a stamp on it, to try
- 1:11:04Speaker 14: to keep it the way I mean it's. Yeah, we're
- 1:11:08Speaker 14: hoping to limit development and that sort of thing and
- 1:11:11Speaker 14: just keep the town nice and community friendly.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: You try and find that balance right between growth.
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: You want to bring in a new tax base, but
- 1:11:19Speaker 10: also you have something special and you don't want to
- 1:11:22Speaker 10: mess with that chemistry experiment.
- 1:11:24Speaker 14: Yeah, we've got areas that we're looking for commercial development
- 1:11:28Speaker 14: to help our tax base, and that's that's what we're
- 1:11:30Speaker 14: doing right now.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: Well, man, I gotta tell you, I think you're doing
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: a great job. And I'm going to tell you the
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: city should be thankful to have somebody like you that
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: cares about it so much. And I'll see you at
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: the watch party. Yeah, text us at seven seven zero
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: three one a Seminal County Assistant principal.

- 1:12:33Speaker 5: It is a few short months away.
- 1:12:35Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: Did you guys hear the story about the Seminole County
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: assistant principal.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Anybody out there to hear about it?
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: Know what happened?
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: We'll just principal dude. You know, here's the thing. Principal
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: gets all Florida man. Sometimes that happens. This principal was
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: drinking up in what Kaima Springs and he says.
- 1:12:50Speaker 5: Good spot.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: It was time for him to go home, and uh,
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: but the bar said, you know what, I don't know, buddy,
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: You've had a lot of drink. Maybe you shouldn't go home.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: He goes, no, I'm fine, and he gets on his
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: e byke huh and he takes off. Okay, is there
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: a problem with it?
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: Like a man like a man, and the gods.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: Saying to themselves, you know what, Usually you don't see
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: guys writing the e bikes at one thirty in the morning,
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: but no front headlight.
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: Oh no.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: So they followed this guy, I think, and they found him.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Where do you think they found this?
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: A principle here it's Central Florida, Denny's in a ditch,
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: and a Denny's in a.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Ditch where anybody else I'm gonna go with.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: It has to start with the letter D, A letter D,
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: strip club seven eleven, buying another twelve pack, Oh like
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: a man that he.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: Put in his front basket.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: Did he have a bell?
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: And then of course, off he goes to jail for
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: dui on an e byte as an assistant principle, and
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: then he issued the statement, Hey, please, my wife and
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: kids and I need the privacy during this time. Please
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: leave us alone.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Dude, you know, not on a bike.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: Hot take.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: I don't think you should get a dui on a bike.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: I gotta tell you I agree with that.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: I think what you see is someone trying and being
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: proacted to not be go behind something that can go
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: fifty miles an hour. You should never, ever, ever get
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: a dui on a bicycle. You should never because you're right,
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: you're choosing the right thing. You're trying, like, what are
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: you gonna do? I thought this was a miracle. And
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: by the way, I do know an old friend that
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: got a dui on a bicycle.
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: His situation was different. He ran into a bus.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, okay to the side of the bus.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: Okay, while the bus was moving, he did not see
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: it and literally flatten himself in the front of it.
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: Uh.
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: But yeah, I'm fine with being on the record by
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: saying bicycles no d uy, horses no d u im
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: no d uy.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: Golf cart that's half of the man. I might have
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: to take back. The golf cart. Half the village is
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: just applauded.
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: Well, I I say, I might have to take it
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: back because I've seen some golf carts that have no
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: governor on it. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, and those things
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: can be pipe in thirty thirty five and when.
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: They're driven by a cougar on about seventeen margaritas. Let
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: me tell you those don't care. They're gonna roll it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they're cougar. They're gonna roll that easy cart.
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: You're not gonna stop them from going down to the plaza.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: It's gonna happen. But yeah, I don't. I feel for
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: this guy. And now I will make fun of them
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: for it being an e bike, But but for it
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: to be a two wheel bicycle, dy yeah, I I
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: at the very least you should be like eighty percent off.
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: Can you imagine how happy he is that this happened
- 1:15:39Speaker 7: after school already let out.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: That's actually part of the story.
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: The part of the story was they go to Seminole
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: County to get a quote like, how do you you
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: know your assistant principal got busted drunk on an e
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: bike and they're so short of teachers.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: The guy said school wasn't in that's on his private times. Yeah,
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: you know, yeh.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: Ain't nobody judging. And what that means is if you
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: have your kids in Someoneo County schools, get him out
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: of there.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Just get him out of there. You're being taught by drugs.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: I mean, I get it.
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: I just would need to see like some hardcore data
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: to see the violence that bicycle underneath the influence. No, no, no,
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: the worst thing you're gonna do is call somebody else
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: trauma for running you over.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: He exactly because he didn't have his front headlight on.
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: If he had his headlight on, he probably would have
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: been Okay.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, is this a hot take to you?
- 1:16:30Speaker 14: Jack?
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Did I lose you?
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: No?
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: I I like the idea, but it's also Seminole County.
- 1:16:35Speaker 10: My issue is they still have the best school system
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: despite their tendency the party a little bit.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: Well, dude, and looks Simone County parties. Isn't Simone County
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: the one that had the girl though? The two female
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: teachers that were basically running a.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: Rave out of their house for five year old Now
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: I believe that.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: Was I thought for sure there was another Siminold County
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: player the animals over there?
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and then like I just then and double down again?
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: What's the average? Do you wych? Probably like what ten
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: fifteen depending on the DUI.
- 1:17:07Speaker 7: From what I've heard, it can be upwards twenty twenty
- 1:17:10Speaker 7: five thousands, right ending Yeah.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: That same ten twenty thousand dollars do you y? Should
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: be like four hundred bucks for a bicycle or a bicycle?
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Do you why? I agree with that. I'm fine you.
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: Can keep it illegal, but like, dude, it's a couple
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: hong though. I gotta tell you, I believe after the
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: first went and actually should go down. Yeah, your fifth
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: the UI should be like eight dollars. Yeah, if you
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: can still ride a book after it being that drunk
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: writing bite, how many times that should be a positive?
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: It's well like you have a punch card. Then you're
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: on the fifth one that's free.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: Exactly the like when the cops come out and give
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: you booby tendons for doing the right thing. On the
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: tenth punch, you get a tricycle. Getting worried, they give
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: you a third wheel. Yeah, all right, seven seven zero
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: three one. That's how you text us. Also, guys, are
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: you anybody cooking out this weekend? Anybody doing both the
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: July stuff this weekend?
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: Smoke a thrillers?
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: You gotta be very careful out there. I don't know
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: if you've heard USA Today reporting that there is a
- 1:18:07Speaker 4: let me.
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: See how you I had that in JCS News. I
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: can't believe I skipped over it. I'm so happy you
- 1:18:12Speaker 7: get to talk about this instead.
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: Have you ever heard of cycla cyclosporosis? Well enough, Well,
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: this is an explosive diarrhea album. Really, yes, Actually it's
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: seventeen states, and Florida is two of the first. So
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: if you're out there and you're buying like pre cut
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: package fruit or whatever you're buying it, you gotta wash
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: it down because they're saying this is one of the
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: most violent cruise ship level levels of diarrhea that you
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: can have.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: They call it cyclospora and it's from mixed fruit cuts.
- 1:18:48Speaker 7: It's from like fresh produce. So they're saying, be very
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: careful with fresh produce out on your picnic tables this weekend.
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: Be careful. Will you buy it? Make sure you wash
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: it really good?
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: What is washing really intel? I don't know, like you
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: just run it underwater.
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: When the CDC says you could feel some nausea, some
- 1:19:05Speaker 7: abdominal pain, and episodes of explosive.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Diarrhea, they actually the ones I read it's luckily this go.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: You know, it could be running, but it also could
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: be and then in quotations explosive CDC, Yeah, CDC explosive, Yeah, explosive.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Have you ever had that?
- 1:19:23Speaker 10: He's never had a colonoscopy? That means you've never done
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: the prep for a colonosal. Oh my god, I'm not
- 1:19:30Speaker 10: so you've who's done colonoscopy prep?
- 1:19:32Speaker 14: Here?
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: Out?
- 1:19:35Speaker 11: You know?
- 1:19:35Speaker 7: Did you notice they only raised their hands but nobody
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: gave it really hearty will will?
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:19:40Speaker 8: What?
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: One guy raised his hand, I mean eye contacted me,
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: looked away, he looked away.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I'm pretty sure you like, don't
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: eat or something.
- 1:19:51Speaker 14: You know you can eat.
- 1:19:53Speaker 16: It's just yeah, I've never done it, So gentlemen, you
- 1:19:55Speaker 16: have to fast that it's only clear liquids, but they
- 1:19:58Speaker 16: also give you you have to drink something that will
- 1:20:01Speaker 16: really evacuate your system.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: And by evacuate we mean yeah yeah, yeah, like pressure wash,
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: command and conquer red alert. Yeah yeah yeah. You want
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: to within ten feet up your bathroom at all time.
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: Now, Really, the good thing, the good thing about getting
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: is a colonosomy, is that what it is? Yeh yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: colon oscarby The good thing is this, uh, you get
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: to try propofol for the first time. Michael Jackson has
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: anyone experience propofol?
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: No, because you haven't remembered anything. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: The old stereotypical count to five, buddy, let me tell
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: you you're not making.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: It to one and a half. You're not, and the
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: doctor will tell you get ready for your best nap ever.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: But at the end of it, don't they make sure
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: that you have to break win before they can let.
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: You go home. Yeah you have to fart? Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: because they're sticking that robot needle up your you know.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: Wait, so there's a guy.
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: I've been with a man for twelve years before I
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: let him.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: I'm not yea. Yeah.
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: So for the prep for colonoscovis, there's a guy in
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: a room waiting for you to fart after you wake up.
- 1:20:56Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, that's.
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: After it's a fart, Yeah, it's after the after all
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: the air they pump in your stomach.
- 1:21:05Speaker 10: He's got to record it too, no, for legal purposes
- 1:21:08Speaker 10: so you don't get suit. So he's holding a microphone
- 1:21:10Speaker 10: there the whole one.
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: Hundred and the guy that was a I anesthesiologists by
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: the way, I walk into my colonoscopy and they're playing Aerosmith, like, wow,
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: my dude's into it headband the whole nine yards and
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: he said, what's up, dog, and casologists use slang to
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: say hi, and then he heard Aerosmith. He told you
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: to walk this way.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: Then he looked at him and he goes, dude, looks like,
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: how old am I supposed to be? For the colonosopy stuff.
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: And that's also thumb stuff, right, that's not stuff. Yeah,
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: that's if you're drinking enough, that could happen to night.
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: Yeah, we know all right, we know your knight's.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: Gonna I thought the thumb doctor and colon Oscarby say no,
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: thumb stuff is a college dare.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Yeah, No, thumb stuff is uh when you get your
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: prostate exam?
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: Okay, when does that happen?
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: That actually should start happinghill? Are you right now? Five years? Yeah,
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: about five years ago. Get out of every.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: Five years, you get it until you turn fifty. Then
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: you get it every forty minutes. I mean, if you're
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: into it, Okay, I should have gotten thumbed already.
- 1:22:24Speaker 14: Yes, you should.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: And it's wild.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Oh no, it's wild because you're having a conversation right
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: before the guy does it, and then there's this weird
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: pause where he explains it's time and I'm serious. That's
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: how it goes, like, Okay, your blood pressure looks good,
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: and I gotta tell you, buddy, you're working really good
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: on your cholesterol. Yours, Your cholesterol looks fine. Your everything's great.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: Pause pause, Okay, I need to drop your pants to
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: your knees and turn over.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: Okay, ladies, at this moment, let's give the boys a
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: great big.
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: Next time. Talked to your doctor between your own raised knees.
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: And he says, hey, I did that once he had
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: the forehead lamp and I started saying hi ho, hi,
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: hope it's up to where we go.
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: So he never looked me in the eye.
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: Again, Well, yeah, he was a mine.
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: He just went he had the little light to be
- 1:23:19Speaker 5: able to see, and I just.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: Guess it's way worse for them. Yeah, yeah, I'm aware
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: of it. I didn't think it was a minor hat.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: Well, the little light, you know.
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: Yeah, they have two thumb moments, so they get two
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: thumb scenarios.
- 1:23:32Speaker 14: Doctor.
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: The doctor looked. Actually, and it's not only happened in
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: the second. I mean he just kind of reaches up
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: there and make sure everything's fine and it's all done.
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: To pay for extra time.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: You don't make guy contact after that. It's kind of weird.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: He just throws the glove in the trash and moves
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: on his way. He throws the glove in the trash.
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: He smokes a cigarette. He asked for a review.
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: What'd you think? Is it as good for you as
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: it was for me? He goes, there's tissues on the
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: counter cleaning up up. No, he swiped down. He swiped
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: He's wiped down.
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: You guys get the tissues too.
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, dude, are you kidding? Because he's using all
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: the goop, he's using the goop and the goop is mild. Dude.
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: Wait wait wait, wait, they do hit you with the
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: tissue thing like basically like throwing the towel. No, it's
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: the same thing, right, it's the same thing when you
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: or depending on how it goes and you get the
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: towel thrown at you, really depends.
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: Everybody knows what we're talking about with the towel right now. Yeah.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: Yeah, the young lady over here just knods very slowly.
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: She doesn't want anybody to know she really knows, but.
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: She really knows.
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very common. Whoever is on the bottom usually
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: gets toweled.
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: No, no, yeah, no, what really?
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, if you're if you're on the bottle.
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: If you don't, then someone's got to sleep in the
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: what it's cold and wet?
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: Oh I thought you meant after the fact that, like, well, friend, yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: I'm seeing I'm saying, how.
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: Active you can put it before he but yeah afterward, Yeah,
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: definitely we don't do that.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really unattractive and not romantic. I'm not putting
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: out a baby changing pad before I make love.
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: Well, then maybe you're not planning to get into it enough.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: No, no, no, maybe you're not doing it right, then
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: you're doing it wrong.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: I'm not laying a towel down and then I'm going
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: on top of it, or she's going on top of it.
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: I'm saying afterwards, Yeah, yeah, you have the towel, and
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: then I just like hit it with the Tracy McGrady
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: like Kobe.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: Then I shut a towel. It's not it's not and
- 1:25:32Speaker 3: it's but it makes me laugh and it's not worth divorcing.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: Who doesn't want to break down laughing during sex? I mean,
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: who doesn't play that? Dude, I've done it.
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: It's it's a weird moment. I feel like everyone has
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: had that moment where you crack a smile, or someone
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: farts at the worst time possible, or there's also a
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: different type of flatulence that has been known to make
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: couples laugh. Yeah, I'm not going to spoon feed that,
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: but who's ever listened to Queen before?
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: That's as close as I'll get to that.
- 1:26:08Speaker 9: And yeah, I think I think a.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: Healthy marriage has people laughing in the bedroom.
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: Not every time, no, no, but I can break the tension,
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: we know, Yeah, exactly.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: Have you ever had a nosebleed?
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: No?
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: Either, I was I just brought that up. Man, never
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: never happened.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: I've never been making love and then it looked like
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: somebody sniped my.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: Wife in the forehead. It's never happened.
- 1:26:34Speaker 8: Never.
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: This would be a very fun time to just let
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: everybody know who's in front of us?
- 1:26:40Speaker 11: Is that?
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: Like?
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: I hope you have a romantic time tonight, uh, you
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: know going into July fourth.
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: Yeah, your own fireworks.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I hope you have your own red white and
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: boom oh there you go and have a good time
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: tonight though, But I gonna tell you I cannot wait
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: for the show.
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: I was still my wife when I found out. It's
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: so funny.
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: Jack mintioned like Tonic's playing, and I'm like, that's gonna
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: be great. I completely forgot who the band was, and
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: then my wife and I were driving around the other
- 1:27:05Speaker 4: day and she I brought it up and I was like,
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: oh my god, this man is incredible. So can't wait
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: to see Tonnic zite gonna be a good time. I'm
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: yea be Yeah, we do have to pick the porn
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: coming up in a few minutes. We're gonna do that
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: live by the way. Now, I think what we're gonna
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: do is just like at the station, We're gonna get
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: five people because we have five callers at the station.
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: Hold on, God damn, look.
- 1:27:27Speaker 5: Was already stuck to the front. He's been hanging out the.
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: Whole that's a tell, by the way, coach, and we're
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: gonna get five. Everybody who plays gonna win a little something.
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: But I do have something special for people who uh
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: who win, win win, you know. Speaking of something special,
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: Dev said something on today's broadcast that is probably, dare
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: I say, one of the coolest things real radio will
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: ever have happened to this great legendary radio stage.
- 1:27:54Speaker 10: She made not surprise that was gonna happen tonight when
- 1:27:56Speaker 10: it gets dark, the.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: One that I'm bringing up right now?
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: Yeah, what tell them there's going to be a real
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: radio logo into the Drone Show?
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: How about that, dude. It's why I'm here.
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: So it's super super cool.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: It's my life's goal.
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: I mean, you super cool to see.
- 1:28:14Speaker 14: You know.
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: Uh, Dev joined deb and I joined real radio at
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: the same time.

- 1:31:04Speaker 3: It's happy birthday, America.
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: This is the most epic July fourth of any of
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: our lifetimes.
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: I think by a mile. How about that.
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: I would agree with that one hundred percent now. And
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: I was around for the nineteen seventy six, uh, you know,
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: by the two hundred, so I was around for that
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: as well.
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: Do you remember it?
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: I do remember it.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: And was it what was it like? Was it was
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: doing thing gookcakes?
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:31:28Speaker 4: Of course, as you know, I was a young like,
- 1:31:30Speaker 4: you know, ten years old over it was, but it
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: was actually still very cool and very patriotic.
- 1:31:33Speaker 14: I was.
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: I was lifting in West Virginia at the time, and
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: I just remember seeing red, white and blue everywhere all
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: the time. And you know what my number one wish
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: is of our friendship for I shouldn't even reframe that.
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: My number one wish for you to experience before you
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: leave this planet, which is not close.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: I'm not getting to that joke. The thumb again, not
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: the thumb again.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: Even though when he goes he's looking for a tip jar,
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: but he you haven't gone to Europe yet.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: I have not traveled overseas to Europe yet.
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: Now when you go to Europe, one of the first
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: things that is palpable just anywhere in Europe is that
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: you will look at a rock and you can just
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: feel that it's older than anything you've ever seen. And
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: I said it in the teas I'll say it again.
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: One of my favorite aspects about being an American living
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: here in the US of A is like we're still
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: country wise, the new hot girl on the block.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: H yeah, yea, yeah, yeah, we haven't gotten surgery yet.
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, little a little bangdab, you know. Yeah, there's
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: a star or two.
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: Sometimes our makeup goes on sideways if we've had a
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: bad Sunday.
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: All right, all right, we've got white thighs with tattoos.
- 1:32:39Speaker 5: Not a problem, not a problem.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: But like we are kind of this.
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: We're like the maybe this is inflammatory to say before
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: July fourth, but we're the hot chick that might fail
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: a test.
- 1:32:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we're the popular job. Yeah, we've got the
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: new fashion trends.
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: But not only are we one of the youngest countries
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: on the planet, especially when it comes to First World countries.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: I found it very interesting that there are some things
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: that are older than two hundred and fifty years that
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: I think is worth actually talking about, just common stuff,
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: just common stuff. Tennis is older than our great country,
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: is it? Really? The game of tennis is older than
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: the United States. It goes way back. There's different versions
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: of tennis, but it also goes all the way back
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: to like eleventh century months when it comes to I mean,
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: I know, like they were playing like squash or something
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: similar to that. Right now, there's a lot of different
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: countries that have kind of their own version of tennis. Honestly,
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: we got to hit up a caveman, because I would
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: think some cavemen were been known to hit stuff back
- 1:33:38Speaker 4: and forth to each other.
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: Yeah, how about the game batgammon?
- 1:33:42Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:33:42Speaker 4: Really older than the United States? How about an actual boat?
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: There's a still sailing boat. I shouldn't say it's still
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: sailing because it got turned into a museum. Okay, the
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: HMS victory it's one of the most famous battleships the
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: world has ever seen. It's the British Spussel of the
- 1:34:00Speaker 4: Royal Navy, first launched in seventeen sixty five. Damn, you
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: can still go on that boat right now if you
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: cross the pond.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: That's crazy. How about just overall rollerblades, roller blades, roller blades,
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: the inn.
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: Roller blades, inline roller blades.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: This needs to be set.
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: The inline skate was invented in seventeen sixty Damn, we
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: happened sixteen years after that.
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's insane to me. How about Stella Artois the beer.
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: The beer, the beer is from like almost Jesus times, dude,
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: it's not quite, but.
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: It's like thirteen sixty five.
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: The very logo that Stella Artoa has, that branding, that
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: marketing older than our country.
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: Wow, that is so yeah. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: It's insane to me that we live in this like
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: proto type, still young and there are things that we
- 1:34:56Speaker 4: drink and consume that.
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: Is older than that. We can still our beginning in
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: the rear view. Yeah, it's still there. It's still there.
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: You back their history, Oh there you are.
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: Yeah, there's one cool thing, especially I know this isn't
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: about the World Cup, but I love that the World
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: Cup reminded of our hot chick waves.
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: How's that of our big, big ass waffles.
- 1:35:18Speaker 5: In Texas Gatory ranch dressing?
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: It's the ranch dressing.
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: Or when they see our highways, they've never seen engineering
- 1:35:28Speaker 4: when it comes to roads nationwide, like the United States
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: Highway system. Yeah, it's crazy to them, and it's so
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: easy to take those things for granted. But man, on
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: July fourth, as this country turns two fifty, I beg.
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: All of you just take a moment and go, hell, yeah,
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: that's a nus thing. How are you celebrating? By the way,
- 1:35:47Speaker 3: I'm celebrating.
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: I will be hanging out with my wife's family, really,
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: and that's something that I want to do watching fireworks.
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: They are great people. I'll be celebrated. Yeah, if you
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: had a if you had a special delight forth, if
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: you could drop up your July fourth, what you would
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: do today?
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: Like all you all your plans, what would it look like?
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: I have always wanted to take some level of hallucinogenics
- 1:36:16Speaker 4: and watch fireworks. Okay, so I never had so no
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: LSD for fireworks. Yeah, no mushrooms. I would take lsd
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: or mushrooms and watch fireworks. But but I think that
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: ship is safe because I got a kid, well, he
- 1:36:29Speaker 4: could take them.
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: I don't want to look at that lollipop in front
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: of you is loaded with them. I don't want to ever.
- 1:36:35Speaker 5: I'm not eating it.
- 1:36:36Speaker 4: I don't plan on ever looking at my son or
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: being even proximity to my son that after. I think
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: I'm a guardboy. Yeah, you may be a better parent
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: on mushrooms. I'm gonna be honest with you. You may
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: be a better parent on mushrooms, mushrooms or after mushrooms.
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: I'll be a better parent after him.
- 1:36:54Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: Your son would be a better sun after mushroom. He
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: would be a way better sun. I mean, if you
- 1:36:59Speaker 4: can imagin's in a two year old dripping bowl.
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: You know what I can. Because there was an incident.
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: No, I'll spread that room around, bring about them, bring
- 1:37:09Speaker 4: it all back, bring it all back.
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: You look at me and said, don't spread that rumor.
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: Well the one who yelled a yeah.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: That's on me.
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: My son will be turning two years old this September eleventh.
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: Never forget right, right, ne Never?
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: I can't forget his birthday. I see it all the
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: time on bumper stickers, right right right. I bring that
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: up because I did some math real fast. If you
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: are two years old, let's say you're two and a
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: half years old, Yes, you are one percent.
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: Of this entire country's existence.
- 1:37:40Speaker 4: My son, when he turns two and a half will
- 1:37:44Speaker 4: have experienced one percent of the entire existence of this country.
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: Oh wow, oh wow, isn't that a weird way of
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: wording that? Yeah, okay, are you already for some damage though? Okay,
- 1:37:55Speaker 4: if you are twenty five years old, Okay, that's me. Okay,
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: it's not that's a hearty laugh that wow, wow, that
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: was me me.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: That did not constitute that he's older.
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: If you're twenty five, I know this is just simple, man,
- 1:38:14Speaker 4: But I really want everyone to dwell in this because
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: this blew my mind. If you're twenty five, you've experienced
- 1:38:20Speaker 4: ten percent of this entire country's existence.
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: And that's kind of something that you probably have never
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: thought of before, isn't it wild?
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: But here comes when it gets weird. If you're thirty,
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: that's twelve percent of the entire country. If you are
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: forty years old, you are sixteen percent of the entire
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: existence of the country. If you are fifty years old.
- 1:38:46Speaker 4: Anybody fifty years old raise.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Their hand, you god, liars and liars.
- 1:38:54Speaker 4: The math is simple, but it's still worth saying out loud.
- 1:38:57Speaker 4: If you're fifty years old, I've seen a fifth of
- 1:39:01Speaker 4: this entire country's history. That is insane. I looked up
- 1:39:06Speaker 4: my mom's age. My mom just turned seventy four.
- 1:39:09Speaker 5: Oh is she cool with you?
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: Do?
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: That is basically thirty percent.
- 1:39:14Speaker 4: Dude, Code Blacks grant our Code Black's father in law
- 1:39:17Speaker 4: is one hundred and three. If you are one hundred
- 1:39:20Speaker 4: and three, you have experienced forty one point five percent
- 1:39:25Speaker 4: of the entire country existence.
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: Of everything that the US has ever done. You've been
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: around for almost It's great.
- 1:39:32Speaker 4: To the super old person who's one hundred and ten.
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: You're talking basically forty five percent. You're getting close to
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: half of the entire country's existence. It's weird looking at
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: like somebody said two thousand and one the other day,
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: and I was like, oh, yeah, that was just the
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: other day and twenty five years ago. But when you
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: compared to the number two fifty, all of a sudden, yeah,
- 1:39:52Speaker 4: it at least for me, when I did this with
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: my age and my mom's age and my son's age.
- 1:39:57Speaker 4: It kind of hit me like, wow, I have been
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: taking things a little bit more for granted that I'd
- 1:40:02Speaker 4: like to admit for some strange reason, when you put
- 1:40:04Speaker 4: it like that, when you can say that you've experienced
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: twenty percent of this country's planet or country's history, it
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: kind of makes you feel a little bit more responsible
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: for it.
- 1:40:14Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:40:15Speaker 4: It might make you want to pick something up because
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: you think you're in this just drop of an ocean. Yeah,
- 1:40:21Speaker 4: that you can't make an impact. I've got great news.
- 1:40:24Speaker 4: You've experienced a lot of this total country's history.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: Yeah. And the death Yeah.
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: Yeah, there's so many amazing dance with that little math curriculum.
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: So much to celebrate for the country, that's for sure.
- 1:40:41Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: I also another thing that's older than the country, which
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: this one's for anyone British Any Twinings tea, Twinings tea, Yes,
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: Twinings tea is older than our country.
- 1:40:54Speaker 3: That's so crazy.
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: You know what's also older than this country? Jim Colbert
- 1:40:59Speaker 4: is the Eagle. I I love, I love being patriotic
- 1:41:08Speaker 4: and boy, if there's anybody and I get it to
- 1:41:11Speaker 4: anybody who's very easy to find a reason to maybe
- 1:41:15Speaker 4: not celebrate this year or maybe be critical.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: I get it. It's easy.
- 1:41:20Speaker 4: We all have social media, we all get the same headlines.
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: Sometimes it's not going great. But for two hundred and
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: fifty years, I beg of you to appreciate finding out
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: your percentage of this entire country's history. And I bet
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: you you might feel a little bit more patriotic than
- 1:41:36Speaker 4: you might think.
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: Very nice. And those are your raws thoughts.
- 1:41:39Speaker 14: I'm out.
- 1:41:44Speaker 4: All right seven nine six one of four one text
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: us at seven seven zero three one.

- 1:42:59Speaker 3: as well.
- 1:43:00Speaker 11: Do it to it?
- 1:43:02Speaker 4: To it?
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: Are you sitting around with it?
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: Or no?
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: You gotta split. I gotta split.
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: I got some family in town. Yeah, I gotta kick
- 1:43:07Speaker 4: it with I know, but I also there's something about,
- 1:43:11Speaker 4: you know, having my kid with his uncles and just
- 1:43:16Speaker 4: like I know how limited edition that is. That always
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: makes me feel like you want them. No, it's always
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: a very special feeling when you know those extra family
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: members get to meet and interact with your.
- 1:43:31Speaker 5: Yeah, is this gonna be a first time for a
- 1:43:33Speaker 5: lot of them?
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: Not a first time, but in a lot in more
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: ways than not, a first time because now my man
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: is moving.
- 1:43:40Speaker 5: Yeah, he changes. It's amazing.
- 1:43:43Speaker 7: Of course, Jack and both Jim understand how quickly kids
- 1:43:48Speaker 7: from one week to another. It seems like every time
- 1:43:50Speaker 7: you show a new picture of video raws he's grown
- 1:43:53Speaker 7: another foot.
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: Yeah, he was driving last night. He works at the railroad.
- 1:43:58Speaker 4: Now here right, it was real all right, seven to
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: seven zero three one again, broadcasting live here at Whiskey Kitchen.
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: Getting ready to kick.
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: It out and move on down to Mount Dora and
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: kind of enjoy the rest.
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: Of the evening.
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: The weather, Actually, it is hurting out great. We have
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: a little bit of an overcast now it's cooling off.
- 1:44:14Speaker 4: Earlier it is pretty warm, but now it's great. I
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: think it's gonna be awesome for the rest of the
- 1:44:17Speaker 4: evening tonight.
- 1:44:18Speaker 7: What's been great is that we did have some showers
- 1:44:20Speaker 7: and storms, if you notice, kind of build up on
- 1:44:22Speaker 7: the perimeter. Yo, But everything has moved away and it
- 1:44:26Speaker 7: doesn't look like it's gonna cause us any issues.
- 1:44:28Speaker 5: Just dampening the sunshine, bringing us a nice breeze.
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I got some breeze going on to which is
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: really nice. Very okay.
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: So America plays on Monday, correct how many soccer fans
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: do we have today, guys, by way, how many soccer fans?
- 1:44:41Speaker 9: Very nice?
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: God, very nice? Let me cry, yeah, yea, yeah, yeah,
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: I've waited.
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah, look. Our crown is the greatest man. Our
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: listeners are the absolute greatest. They love the good stuff. Well,
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: America plays Belgium. Belgium on Monday night. By the way,
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: they are doing the big broadcast right down at Sunset Park.
- 1:44:58Speaker 4: They're gonna have the big screen up. I'll be down
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: there hanging out. If you go and come now, we'll
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: have some beers and have a good time. But you know,
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: one of the one of the most definitive parts of soccer,
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: especially in the Premier League, is the people who call
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: the games the massive Then I would say that that
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: actually was probably more well known in America than the
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: game itself for the longest time. People know about English commentary,
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: and why would that be, because it's unlike anything else.
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: They are they dry, it's honest, and then cutting, and then.
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: There's other I think it's Peter Drury who ends basically
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: every match what seems to be a Shakespeare sonnet, a
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: story that you just watched in front.
- 1:45:43Speaker 10: Of you haven't heard that one, but I have heard this,
- 1:45:45Speaker 10: but you also have South American in the southern part
- 1:45:50Speaker 10: of our continent with Andrew Andrews Cantor and his famous
- 1:45:54Speaker 10: call on the ball hits the back of the neck.
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: So by asking that who you play soccer?
- 1:46:00Speaker 8: Young men?
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: Do you really?
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: All right? Very good? Who thinks they can yell gold
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: the loudest and the longest? For a prize? Today? Who
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: thinks they can do it? All right? This will be
- 1:46:17Speaker 3: a fun competition, right, I have two prizes left. We
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: have a timer here.
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: And since it is America's two hundred and fifty a birthday,
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: and we are playing in the World Cup, and America
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: is never well only one time other made it this
- 1:46:32Speaker 4: far right twenty four, So we are going to do
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: the goal contest. So I need a couple of people
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: up here that seek they can they can yell the
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: goal the longest and the loudest.
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: We got Uncle Keller, Uncle Keller, come on up? And
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: who else? Who else I think they can do it?
- 1:46:50Speaker 3: Come on, bi, come on? All right, So here's the deal.
- 1:46:55Speaker 3: We're gonna you have a timer, Yeah, yeah, I have
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: a timer. All rights. Ross. I want you to describe
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: the play of all being scored.
- 1:47:04Speaker 10: Imagine hits the back end of that, and then you
- 1:47:06Speaker 10: give the mic to our contestants here to yell the
- 1:47:10Speaker 10: word goal, and that's.
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: What we will be tied. All right? Who's working with
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: us right now? Who's first? We got this guy right here?
- 1:47:15Speaker 14: What is your name?
- 1:47:16Speaker 13: Sir?
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: Kevin?
- 1:47:17Speaker 4: Kevin Kellery even sounds exactly like I thought, real, real
- 1:47:23Speaker 4: fast middle name.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Please don't ben, It's.
- 1:47:29Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: Parents. Missed opportunity, Yeah, a really bad one, a really
- 1:47:34Speaker 3: bad one.
- 1:47:34Speaker 14: All right?
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: Do you understand the goal here?
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: Sir?
- 1:47:36Speaker 3: No put attended? Got it all right?
- 1:47:38Speaker 9: Very good.
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: So Ross is gonna make a little quick call. He's
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: gonna hand you the mike and you're to say goal
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: the longest you possibly can. And the winner of this
- 1:47:45Speaker 4: contest we have some stuff over your fifty dollars. Some
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: kickers have some soccer tickets as well.
- 1:47:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: Anthony Robinson going up the left wing, left wing, he
- 1:47:53Speaker 4: gets past one, he gets.
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: Past two, He throws the ball. He has a hard
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: cross right in there. Christopolis missus.
- 1:48:02Speaker 9: Ye, god, oh my god, whoa.
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: The ending?
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: The ending was priceless, that's what he was stunning.
- 1:48:28Speaker 10: He's having at fifteen point seven six seconds.
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: You're like, you're like a Liftian battery. It runs one
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: hundred percent and then it doesn't run.
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: Yeah, so he ended at fifteen seconds. You know what
- 1:48:38Speaker 3: I'm banking on.
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: I want somebody to go seventeen seconds? WHOA seven six,
- 1:48:45Speaker 4: seventeen seventy six and make this way?
- 1:48:48Speaker 3: All right, here's next my man right here? All right?
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: What's your what's your name?
- 1:48:52Speaker 14: Cool?
- 1:48:52Speaker 3: All right? Col are you ready for your goal? I
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: am all right.
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: Westy McKinney going up the center of the pitch. He
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: takes one, he takes two, he gets he gets back up,
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: he still has the ball. It's just me, deemed him
- 1:49:03Speaker 4: and the goalkeeper.
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: It's one on one. It's one on one. He brows
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: the keeper and say god killing. No, he's eighteen, one
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: year from a good war. Are you okay? Why do
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: we have you injured yourself doing this? I do not
- 1:49:41Speaker 3: know who you are. This did not happen in my player.
- 1:49:45Speaker 3: That goes I think he pooped. I looked like it
- 1:49:48Speaker 3: was about to play. Yeah, yeah, yeah, give me a
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: couple of other contestants. As soon as one more time,
- 1:49:59Speaker 3: we give it another pride.
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: Okay, there you go, Ross, How long do you think
- 1:50:04Speaker 4: you can do it? Not, well, do you dog vait?

- 1:50:13Speaker 4: and then I'll do it, and then I'll do a
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: thing for you.
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: All right.

- 1:52:07Speaker 3: saw my dad at the end of that. Dude, you
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: win the lollipop. It's the shape of a penis. Yeah,
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: Oh my god.

- 1:52:33Speaker 3: He throws one into the box. Patty ricarda way for goal.
- 1:52:41Speaker 5: She smokes kind of fun everything I can get my hands.
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: On it should it should have been like.
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: Very good, alright seven nine one four one Again you
- 1:52:55Speaker 4: can always text us at seven seven tiero three one.
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: Hey, look we completely cash out of at least we did.
- 1:53:02Speaker 10: Really shout out to my oldest Alana, who came to
- 1:53:04Speaker 10: me and she's like, hey, you should have to do
- 1:53:06Speaker 10: a context or two.
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: You can yell gold the loudest, hey, and what last
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: thing you wanted to talk about today? We were trying
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: to talk about all week? You know, the GLP anybody?
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: Oh god, it's not a weird thing to ask if
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: somebody's on GLP one. It's a little bit, is it really?
- 1:53:18Speaker 3: Especially on a first date. I can't do that on
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: a tender date? He got some extra arms stuff there.
- 1:53:29Speaker 11: Well.
- 1:53:29Speaker 4: The reason I ask is it's it's wild because you know,
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: we see people kind of manipulating their businesses to associate
- 1:53:35Speaker 4: for people who are dealing in this, and the restaurant
- 1:53:37Speaker 4: business has gotten into that, and the restaurant business is
- 1:53:39Speaker 4: actually now creating like dishes and stuff. So when you
- 1:53:43Speaker 4: come in if you're on gop ones, they can actually
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: dial up a dinner that's just for you and your.
- 1:53:48Speaker 3: Gop one action. Don't they call that the Kidney's menu. Yeah,
- 1:53:52Speaker 3: that's what my wife does. She orders up the kids
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: men you all the time.
- 1:53:54Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:53:54Speaker 4: All these GLP dinners are just like mac and cheese
- 1:53:57Speaker 4: with hot dogs.
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: It's just small.
- 1:54:02Speaker 4: I didn't understand the concept was like the whole idea
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: of jop one. You would check this up and eat
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: everything you want. He was just like automatic, this is
- 1:54:09Speaker 4: your GLP dinner. This is Dino nugs. This one looks
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: a foot chili dog to start with, and then we
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: can move from there, you know. And I don't think
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: she would be ashamed of this, because she's really really
- 1:54:22Speaker 4: proud of her weight loss.
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: My mom is on a GLP one and I.
- 1:54:26Speaker 4: Listen, it's really easy for someone to look at it
- 1:54:28Speaker 4: from afar and go like it's a cheap code, it's this,
- 1:54:31Speaker 4: it's or being negative about it. I'm here to tell you, dude,
- 1:54:34Speaker 4: it's changed my mom's life. Yeah, yeah, my mom smiles more.
- 1:54:37Speaker 4: She she's looks crazy, she's active now. She had to
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: buy all new clothes. Oh yeah, because the weight loss
- 1:54:46Speaker 4: was rapid. She came over looked like she came back
- 1:54:49Speaker 4: from a sleepover something. It looked like she was in
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: someone else's clothes for a good like a month and
- 1:54:56Speaker 4: a half.
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: Really very yeah.
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: And she does so.
- 1:55:00Speaker 4: So I through my mom's experience. In the very beginning,
- 1:55:03Speaker 4: I was indifferent over gops. But now we've seeing my
- 1:55:06Speaker 4: mom smile. I'm like, whatever, it hates, whatever worked us.
- 1:55:11Speaker 7: Not to mention, they have found that it's basically kind
- 1:55:13Speaker 7: of a miracle drug for a lot of other conditions
- 1:55:16Speaker 7: that golp one wasn't planned for, and cardiovascular help, inflammation.
- 1:55:22Speaker 5: Addiction issues.
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: Really I haven't heard that.
- 1:55:25Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 1:55:25Speaker 7: They're finding that for alcohol and drugs that it actually
- 1:55:30Speaker 7: lowers like the reward center in your brain and allows
- 1:55:33Speaker 7: people to actually get past addiction. They're finding out more
- 1:55:37Speaker 7: and more things with glp ones than they started off.
- 1:55:41Speaker 3: With eriasis, but syndrome.
- 1:55:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I've almost believed him. I'm so cold, I almost
- 1:55:48Speaker 5: got it.
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right for seven and I want
- 1:55:51Speaker 4: to take ward text dot seven to a deer.
- 1:55:53Speaker 3: With three one?
- 1:55:53Speaker 5: Would you?
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: And biomeans is not a comment on your body?
- 1:55:56Speaker 5: But I do know this is not right here the
- 1:56:00Speaker 5: front row. It's not.
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: Question.
- 1:56:03Speaker 5: Hadn't even been asked.
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: Dad just patted me on the shoulder like I lost
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: my dog. I know it's he but I know like
- 1:56:12Speaker 4: you would never cheat at golf, you would never cheat
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: it golf. It actually just cost me a golfer that
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: a little while ago, like because I can't go ahead.
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: One thing that pisses you off the most is someone
- 1:56:22Speaker 4: who cheats at golf. I'm not saying glps are similar
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: to cheating at golf.
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: But would you take glps? Would you ever get to
- 1:56:29Speaker 3: that point? Man, I don't think. I don't I you
- 1:56:33Speaker 3: don't want to say no, but I only weigh like
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: two hundred and twenty pounds. I'm not like that. You're
- 1:56:39Speaker 3: not who left No, Yeah, I wasn't mean the guy
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: with the ponytail left that stage, left left.
- 1:56:49Speaker 4: I've been called for what it is you are not.
- 1:56:52Speaker 4: You were not ob I'm not saying any of that. Well,
- 1:56:55Speaker 4: that first year of doing the show, yeah I was fat. Yeah,
- 1:56:57Speaker 4: he shr thirty five pounds.
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: I mean, that's that's big. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I'm
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: like two twenty five now, and I could lose ten
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: pounds you, but I don't want to do I don't
- 1:57:06Speaker 3: want to do it that way.
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: I would rather do it on my own. You know
- 1:57:08Speaker 4: what steps steps? Yeah, I've never gonna do it. I'm
- 1:57:12Speaker 4: never gonna lose the weight I'm not taking. I would
- 1:57:14Speaker 4: have to use a jailp one. I like eating and
- 1:57:15Speaker 4: drinking too much. That's what It's gonna wind up killing me.
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: It's gonna end up killing me because I love to
- 1:57:20Speaker 4: eat and drink way too much. I'm gonna have like
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: ten margaritas done. I'm gonna be honest. Eating and drinking
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: is really fun. Yeah, why it's it's really good. Anybody
- 1:57:27Speaker 4: cooking it out tomorrow?
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: Anybody? What do you guys? Cooked out? Anyone?
- 1:57:32Speaker 4: Is it Burger's dog to be doing something cool like
- 1:57:34Speaker 4: a brisket or some bricks you do a brisket?
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: Wow, dude, that's balls.
- 1:57:38Speaker 4: Y'all get a buddy that don't that bought a trigger
- 1:57:40Speaker 4: and he texted me, he goes, hey, I bought a
- 1:57:42Speaker 4: trigger yesterday.
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna do it.
- 1:57:43Speaker 4: I'm gonna do a brisket, I'm like buddy, jumping right
- 1:57:46Speaker 4: into the fire. Like briskets are the hardest thing in
- 1:57:48Speaker 4: the world of good.
- 1:57:49Speaker 6: Why is that?
- 1:57:50Speaker 4: Because it's very tough. It's a very tough down of media.
- 1:57:56Speaker 4: Cook it for a really long time, and it's very temperamental.
- 1:57:59Speaker 4: It's like a team needs girl. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:58:01Speaker 4: it's always mad.
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: And there's a thing called the stall.
- 1:58:04Speaker 5: I know, ladies, I thought the same thing. I thought
- 1:58:06Speaker 5: he was describing himself.
- 1:58:08Speaker 3: You have to cook it like fourteen hours.
- 1:58:10Speaker 4: I think if ceiling just did this, Ceiling he's got
- 1:58:12Speaker 4: a brand new grill and pride it as well. But
- 1:58:15Speaker 4: there you go, all right, but you you have to
- 1:58:17Speaker 4: cook it, and there's a thing called the stall. It
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: actually stops cooking for a while, and then you have
- 1:58:21Speaker 4: to wait through that, and then you have to rest
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: the thing like an entire day before you even eat it.
- 1:58:25Speaker 4: So when you go to a restaurant you eat brisket,
- 1:58:27Speaker 4: that brisket has had a moment like that thing is
- 1:58:29Speaker 4: forty eight hours into the process before you get a cutout.
- 1:58:32Speaker 5: But how do you know when your meat stalls?
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: It just stops cooking and stuff getting hotter. You're such
- 1:58:37Speaker 3: a you're you're such.
- 1:58:39Speaker 5: A cooking question.
- 1:58:42Speaker 3: You're living on tondra. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have zero
- 1:58:47Speaker 3: plans for tomorrow. I have no idea what we're doing.
- 1:58:49Speaker 5: It could be because you're slam packed for today.
- 1:58:51Speaker 4: Could it be Jacky? Do you guys have like anybody
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: that has no plans? Like this is the first year
- 1:58:57Speaker 4: I have no plans to do anything up fourth Literally
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: we just found out yesterday we're going to our friend's
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: house to swim, and that is like literally the first
- 1:59:04Speaker 4: year in thirty years I've never had like a solid
- 1:59:07Speaker 4: Fourth of July plan, And oddly enough, on the on
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: the one of the biggest ones in my life. While
- 1:59:12Speaker 4: I've always found it very entertaining how much Jim like
- 1:59:15Speaker 4: loves swimming and water parts and just whimsical way.
- 1:59:19Speaker 3: He's nothing like seeing my fat ask coming out of
- 1:59:20Speaker 3: the water. He's a practically uh literally nothing like seeing
- 1:59:25Speaker 3: my fat ass barrel down the water slide. You're absolutely great,
- 1:59:29Speaker 3: you're a svelt twenty five.
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but Jack actually got to go to one of
- 1:59:33Speaker 4: the best water parks in the history of water parks,
- 1:59:35Speaker 4: which is Action Park, Baby.
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: In New Jersey. Baby, have you ever heard of Action Park?
- 1:59:40Speaker 3: Also known this traction park.
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: No, yeah, they have a documentary out on what it's
- 1:59:45Speaker 4: actually you know, this class action park.
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:59:48Speaker 4: Man, it is like when you see people going to
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: the slide, you know the slides that kind of are
- 1:59:51Speaker 4: step like that where they didn't build the steps right.
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: The engineering was right, and you hit the first step
- 1:59:56Speaker 4: and you would fly off of it and then hit
- 1:59:59Speaker 4: the next one like in mid air. Like people were
- 2:00:02Speaker 4: getting dragged the traction part, getting dragged out of their
- 2:00:05Speaker 4: every day injured.
- 2:00:06Speaker 3: I wonder what they did for July fourth, Oh, everything
- 2:00:08Speaker 3: the hell they wanted.
- 2:00:09Speaker 4: They didn't shoot fireworks, just oh yeah, kids, all your
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: kids into the air. All you needed to go there
- 2:00:14Speaker 4: was acid and Jane shorts and you were in dude,
- 2:00:18Speaker 4: that's all you needed.
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: It was jersey. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: Have you ever done sorry to interrupt, but have you
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: done anything like bad or nefarious with fireworks? Everyone usually has.
- 2:00:30Speaker 4: You're from black Kat, it's part of your city flag.
- 2:00:33Speaker 3: I mean we've had, I mean everybody's had. I mean
- 2:00:34Speaker 3: who hasn't had like a.
- 2:00:38Speaker 4: Handle fights, Roman candle fights, shooting bottle rockets at each
- 2:00:41Speaker 4: other's kids.
- 2:00:42Speaker 8: We did that.
- 2:00:43Speaker 10: We used to do what we'd drive around and shoot
- 2:00:44Speaker 10: bottle rockets at each other, and you have to lower
- 2:00:47Speaker 10: your window enough to shoot out till you were kind
- 2:00:49Speaker 10: of shoot in their car.
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: And then dead snakes, sparklers.
- 2:00:53Speaker 5: Snakes and sparklers never roam battles like a seventy song.
- 2:00:58Speaker 3: It's like kicking winging from Joe Dirt. I all right, three,
- 2:01:04Speaker 3: want to take little break. We'll get back. I guess
- 2:01:06Speaker 3: news I do.
- 2:01:07Speaker 7: Unfortunately, you're going to talk about a lightning strike turning
- 2:01:10Speaker 7: deadly in Fort Myers.
- 2:01:11Speaker 8: Hey.
- 2:01:11Speaker 5: This is for you Ross.
- 2:01:12Speaker 7: The FDA allows a modified risk claim for zen pouches,
- 2:01:17Speaker 7: just in case you've heard of those. And a woman survives, you, guys,
- 2:01:20Speaker 7: an unbelievable fall from Mount Shasta.
- 2:01:24Speaker 3: Mount Shasta.
- 2:01:25Speaker 7: You will not believe how far this woman fell and survive.
- 2:01:28Speaker 7: But we'll talk about that next during you heard it here.
- 2:01:30Speaker 4: First, you got to take little break. We'll go back
- 2:01:31Speaker 4: and get Deb's news and get the hell out of
- 2:01:33Speaker 4: here and then go party in Mount Dora.
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: What do you say?
- 2:01:40Speaker 8: All right?
- 2:01:40Speaker 4: Got back with jacober show ro guess you like her

- 2:01:51Speaker 4: the Drown Joe, and of Court, the gigantic fireworks to
- 2:01:55Speaker 4: play going on tonight right over the lake in Maldora. Man,

- 2:02:00Speaker 4: just this heat, but thank you so much for hana
- 2:02:02Speaker 4: with today. We want to appreciate it. And thanks for
- 2:02:05Speaker 4: Whiskey Kitchen for being such great hosts and honest, let
- 2:02:10Speaker 4: me tell you something else.
- 2:02:11Speaker 3: Uh, Look, this guy hates this. I know he hates it.
- 2:02:14Speaker 3: I don't care if he hates it or not. One
- 2:02:16Speaker 3: of the most important people that works for.
- 2:02:18Speaker 4: This radio station, not only is Jack Bradshaw, but Sea
- 2:02:21Speaker 4: Lane over there is one of those Jay.
- 2:02:23Speaker 5: Thank you Selan.
- 2:02:25Speaker 3: If you only knew how much real radio depended on.
- 2:02:28Speaker 4: Sea Lane keeps this thing movement and guys like Jack
- 2:02:30Speaker 4: that work behind the scenes endlessly and effortlessly to make
- 2:02:34Speaker 4: sure everything runs right. For dudes like this to have
- 2:02:36Speaker 4: it easy, you have no idea, So they deserve a
- 2:02:39Speaker 4: big round of applause for Sea.
- 2:02:40Speaker 3: Lane and for Jack.
- 2:02:41Speaker 4: What do you say, guys, Yeah, yeah, I mean seriously,
- 2:02:46Speaker 4: that's been to one of the coolest dudes in the building.
- 2:02:48Speaker 4: Of course, that's not Jack's fair enough, Jim, I actually
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: have one more what's that I have one more person
- 2:02:55Speaker 4: that I think deserves a thing.
- 2:02:57Speaker 3: So it's unbelievably cool.
- 2:02:58Speaker 4: One of the coolest parts of this job happened for
- 2:03:01Speaker 4: me today this past week. I think it was Wednesday,
- 2:03:03Speaker 4: maybe Thursday. We got a text saying, Hey, I just
- 2:03:06Speaker 4: want to let you guys know that if you see
- 2:03:08Speaker 4: a mom and their daughter, uh, that's us. My daughter
- 2:03:11Speaker 4: loves the station. She wants to come out, so I'm
- 2:03:14Speaker 4: bringing her out. It's we're not just there for food.
- 2:03:16Speaker 4: We're there for you guys. And I would like to
- 2:03:19Speaker 4: put everybody's hands together as she stands up for Madison.
- 2:03:31Speaker 3: Of the station. Yeah, absolutely love that Madison made it out.
- 2:03:35Speaker 3: She asked her parents if she could come out.
- 2:03:37Speaker 5: She wanted to turn her parents onto the shop.
- 2:03:39Speaker 4: She loves dev shout out to Madison. You want to
- 2:03:44Speaker 4: hear about my favorite listener. That another big round for
- 2:03:50Speaker 4: a lot of the regulars. Do we have a texting
- 2:03:51Speaker 4: service that we reference all the time. A lot of
- 2:03:53Speaker 4: times we don't get a chance to give the people
- 2:03:55Speaker 4: who are the texting, you know, text us credit for
- 2:03:58Speaker 4: their text be guys like kid in the driver there, Yeah,
- 2:04:01Speaker 4: he always text us. Of course everybody knows the tea Well, hey, guys.
- 2:04:05Speaker 3: Who else am I missing? Here? Angry? Eric angry right there,
- 2:04:09Speaker 3: he's always mad.
- 2:04:10Speaker 5: We had tea bag.
- 2:04:11Speaker 3: Early, Yeah, tea bag. So thank you, y.
- 2:04:13Speaker 4: We appreciate everybody who's part of the program every day
- 2:04:15Speaker 4: trying to help us in Orlando and we just see him.
- 2:04:18Speaker 4: We can't thank you enough for all the help that
- 2:04:20Speaker 4: you give us on a daily sus as we keep
- 2:04:22Speaker 4: the show going every single day of the week.
- 2:04:25Speaker 5: There you go, yeah, thank you guys.
- 2:04:27Speaker 4: It's a good time to stick a positive ending.
- 2:04:31Speaker 3: It is one.
- 2:04:34Speaker 7: Well real quick, not that I have any personal vested
- 2:04:37Speaker 7: interest in this, but how about a round of applause
- 2:04:40Speaker 7: for the City of Mount Dora for putting out awesome event.
- 2:04:44Speaker 5: The city Cruise works so so hard to make sure
- 2:04:47Speaker 5: that we have a good time.
- 2:04:49Speaker 10: And if you don't say it, I will, Chris Carson,
- 2:04:52Speaker 10: the event planner for this city, because putting on three
- 2:04:56Speaker 10: broadcasts in one day, that's right, you definitely need a
- 2:04:59Speaker 10: great and there is no greater part than real Radio
- 2:05:02Speaker 10: has in the city of Mount Dora.
- 2:05:04Speaker 3: And Chris Carson, yeah yeah.
- 2:05:06Speaker 4: And by the way, also dealing with Diva is like
- 2:05:09Speaker 4: Josh peakman. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this guy, yeah, this guy
- 2:05:13Speaker 4: is the worst.
- 2:05:14Speaker 5: Worst.
- 2:05:15Speaker 3: You have no idea. Don't look at me in the hallways, bring.
- 2:05:18Speaker 8: Me my foods?
- 2:05:19Speaker 3: How many demands? My oat meals too cold?
- 2:05:21Speaker 5: It goes on and on.
- 2:05:23Speaker 3: It's endless. Dude. He never calls me by my name.
- 2:05:26Speaker 3: He only calls me bitch. Yeah, yeah, it's just.
- 2:05:29Speaker 11: What that.
- 2:05:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I know he's a total bully. All right, let's
- 2:05:33Speaker 3: see you heard it here first, Good time, you.
- 2:05:37Speaker 1: Heard it here first on the Jim Colbert Show.
- 2:05:41Speaker 7: All right, we all know that one of the things
- 2:05:42Speaker 7: we love to do on the fourth of July holiday
- 2:05:44Speaker 7: weakness to go to the beach. Right, yeah, Well, there's
- 2:05:47Speaker 7: a reason when they say when you hear thunder, you
- 2:05:50Speaker 7: know to go inside, because unfortunately, one person has died,
- 2:05:53Speaker 7: multiple others were heard after a lightning strike on Fort
- 2:05:56Speaker 7: Myer's Beach.
- 2:05:57Speaker 5: Keep this in mind.
- 2:05:57Speaker 7: Fort Myers Beach Fire Department told Golf Co News they
- 2:06:00Speaker 7: were dispatched this afternoon before three o'clock, right before the
- 2:06:03Speaker 7: Jim Colbert Shop, so tragic, and upon arrival found a
- 2:06:06Speaker 7: total of four patients. Now, a bystander had deployed an
- 2:06:10Speaker 7: a ed and was performing CPR when crews arrived. However,
- 2:06:13Speaker 7: due to the injury, sustained efforts to revive the unresponsive individual.
- 2:06:17Speaker 5: Unfortunately we're not successful. Be safe if you're out there
- 2:06:20Speaker 5: on the beaches this year.
- 2:06:22Speaker 3: Don't get run over. That's another thing.
- 2:06:23Speaker 5: That is another thing. Yeah, Daytona beach fire rescue.
- 2:06:26Speaker 7: They're saying, listen, if you've got little kids, don't put
- 2:06:29Speaker 7: your car or the in the driving lane.
- 2:06:31Speaker 5: Put it closer to the water so that little kids
- 2:06:34Speaker 5: won't have to be able.
- 2:06:35Speaker 7: They won't have to worry about traveling the car lane
- 2:06:38Speaker 7: as they're heading back to your your your area.
- 2:06:40Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, all right. Anybody use Zen nicotine patches and
- 2:06:44Speaker 5: her pouches.
- 2:06:47Speaker 4: All right, Well, somebody uses them because they throw them
- 2:06:49Speaker 4: in our toilet at the station. No, no, no, yeah no,
- 2:06:55Speaker 4: it is so hard to dig those out with your teeth.
- 2:07:00Speaker 4: The FDA will allow zin nickedobob.
- 2:07:04Speaker 7: Popping person will allow Zen nicotine pouches to be marketed
- 2:07:07Speaker 7: with a modified risk claim.
- 2:07:09Speaker 5: You don't normally hear this.
- 2:07:10Speaker 7: So zen pouches contain nicotine but not tobacco, right, it's
- 2:07:14Speaker 7: always the delivery system, They say. The danger with nicotine
- 2:07:18Speaker 7: it's not that the nicotine itself. So they've been authorized
- 2:07:21Speaker 7: for sale in the US and January twenty twenty five,
- 2:07:24Speaker 7: so the company, the FDA is now allowing them to
- 2:07:26Speaker 7: market Zin's ten flavors with the claim that quote, using
- 2:07:30Speaker 7: Zin instead of cigarettes puts you at a lower risk
- 2:07:34Speaker 7: of mouth cancer, heart disease, lung cancer, stroke and physema,
- 2:07:37Speaker 7: and chronic bunk bronchitis end quote. These are the first
- 2:07:42Speaker 7: nicotine pouches allowed to be marketed with that modified risk claim.
- 2:07:46Speaker 5: Wow, what if you heard that? Yeah, normally it's.
- 2:07:52Speaker 14: Off.
- 2:07:52Speaker 4: And then if you ever boughten like a pack of
- 2:07:54Speaker 4: cigarettes over in Europe or across the it's just like
- 2:07:57Speaker 4: a photo of a dead guy.
- 2:07:59Speaker 5: Oh no, they have the those graphic warnings on their
- 2:08:02Speaker 5: cigarette patches.
- 2:08:03Speaker 3: They have open heart surgery on packs of cigarette.
- 2:08:06Speaker 5: Pictures of lung cancer.
- 2:08:08Speaker 3: Wow. Here in the States, we could this small fine pray.
- 2:08:11Speaker 5: Yeah in general, yeah, exactly, all right.
- 2:08:17Speaker 7: A woman miraculously survived a this footfall on Mount Shasta
- 2:08:22Speaker 7: in northern California.
- 2:08:23Speaker 5: You want to take a guess how far she fell
- 2:08:25Speaker 5: and survived.
- 2:08:26Speaker 3: I dated at Mount Shasta.
- 2:08:29Speaker 5: Well, how far.
- 2:08:32Speaker 3: I'll go, I'll go? I mean she's made a big
- 2:08:34Speaker 3: deal about it. I'll go two hundred. I'll go to
- 2:08:36Speaker 3: twenty five.
- 2:08:37Speaker 7: How about fifteen hundred, fifteen hundred, fifteen hundred foot fall
- 2:08:42Speaker 7: on Mount Shasta in northern California?
- 2:08:45Speaker 3: What she landed?
- 2:08:46Speaker 7: The thirty one year old fell on Sunday while climbing
- 2:08:49Speaker 7: in steep, icy and rocky terrain in the US Forest Service, says.
- 2:08:53Speaker 7: Climbing rangers and a California Highway Patrol helicopter responded to
- 2:08:57Speaker 7: report of the fall at about noon. Officials say the
- 2:09:00Speaker 7: woman suffered a possible broken ankle that's it, and other injuries,
- 2:09:05Speaker 7: but quote wasn't good spirits.
- 2:09:07Speaker 3: How bad is it when you're mad that they don't
- 2:09:09Speaker 3: get more injuries?
- 2:09:11Speaker 5: That's not like he looks like going to a NASCAR
- 2:09:14Speaker 5: like nobody wreck, dude.
- 2:09:15Speaker 3: I feel like she needs more injuries from it.
- 2:09:17Speaker 7: I know a broken ankle after falling fifteen hundred feet
- 2:09:22Speaker 7: and you heard it here first, Jim Coper'm my.
- 2:09:25Speaker 3: Version of that.
- 2:09:26Speaker 4: Are you ever like in traffic and the traffic is
- 2:09:28Speaker 4: so bad that you're like, I need to see three
- 2:09:30Speaker 4: cars in this accident?
- 2:09:33Speaker 5: Cars minimum, that's it.
- 2:09:35Speaker 3: Everyone's okay, but I need more than two on this.
- 2:09:39Speaker 3: You get to that point and there's no accident, You're like,
- 2:09:41Speaker 3: what the hell? Then you just hold that they cleaned
- 2:09:44Speaker 3: it up fast. You know that's not how it works.
- 2:09:48Speaker 3: That case play that music. Yeah, let's get you, Jim.
