- Chris Laker: Whew. Mm. The last time I was in the state of Georgia, and by that I mean Atlanta. That's the only part of Georgia I've ever been to. But the last time I was in Atlanta was Twenty nineteen, twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen. One of those two. I've not been there since. yet I receive text and emails from John Ossoff multiple times a day. I don't know why I can't vote for you, John Ossoff. I don't live there. and I don't have any money. that would probably stop the text and email right away if I just wrote back I don't have any money Well fuck. Why don't you tell us that before? I get less correspondence from people running for office in LA. Nithya Rahman does not give me as many emails as John Osoff. I could unsubscribe I'm sure, but I just delete them. And I don't like to text back stop. there's a lot of different, political emails that I get, but I don't I don't get them for James Tallerico. I don't get them for, other high profile races going on in the country. It's John Osoff, and I don't know how I got on his list. I've gotten on some lists over the years and I'm sure one day they'll be rounding up everybody from those lists. you're on Bernie's email list. You contributed some money through Act Blue five years ago. Get in the truck. I did give a few bucks to Kamala because I was getting swept up in that when it first started up. it was a record breaking contributions. I want to be a part of the record breaking contribution. Here's five bucks. now I'm never giving money to any other candidate. They don't need my five bucks. What are they doing with it? Buying advertising? Why would a political commercial work on somebody? That I don't get. But yeah, they're they're not getting any of my money. if I had a lot of money and I could buy a candidate, I would think about it. If I could own a senator just for fun, I feel like that's the highest level. I you gotta have Elon Musk money to buy a president. he actually didn't cost that much when you think about what he bought. That's the problem with the individual donations, is that nobody has any influence. if everybody of the individual donations gave it to me, listen, I'm gonna do the right thing. I'm not gonna take your money and keep it. you gotta just give it to me, then I put the donation in my name the candidate, we could buy a candidate, but it's gotta be one person. They don't listen to everybody. They listen to a few people. maybe we buy a Republican they really like to get bought start with a member of Congress. You could probably get a Republican congressman who's not known for pretty cheap. someone who's not that visible, we'll get to vote on some stuff And when they say, I can't vote to give money to education. I'll take my money and primary you. Then I kinda get familiar with whoever it is have some conversations, they loosen up get some of that inside dirt. What's going on in DC with you Republicans? I know there's underground sex parties. There's weird shit going on. it'd be like a Donnie Brasco, except you release that information and nobody cares. It would go nowhere. They can do whatever they want Republicans it's like the Catholic Church. All this information comes out over and over again. They are raping kids at the Catholic Church all the time. And they're still standing. They you you can't touch you ask people to go to church, why you still go to that church? You know that they do the t you know and then the money you give some of that goes to lobbying firms who try to stop state governments from rolling back statute of limitation laws, yeah, you're gonna have problems with the people, but it's the church. It's the institution. don't know how much money we would need to buy somebody in Congress, say in Alabama. a deep red seat, we're not contributing to anything that's really wrong because the Republicans gonna win. We just wanna have influence it's an experiment. So everybody's gonna have to give me money to do that though. we'll see how much we need. It's probably less than I think. It's probably less than a million dollars. I'm not actually trying to get anybody to send me money. This is all a joke. If you you want to send me money, go subscribe to my Sub Stack. you can also subscribe to my Substack for free. I'm not asking buddy for any money. There's no commercials on this thing. Eventually there might be some monetary incentives 'cause right now if you subscribe to my Substack you get the same thing for free as if you pay. You pay because you feel like, hey I like to pay for this. would like to find out how much it costs. And eventually this show might own a congressperson. Let's get to the news. the airport in the Saudi capital has been attacked again, officials say. if you were gonna fly into Riyadh, that is a problem. if you heard about the Riyadh Comedy Festival and you're like, that sounds like a great place to visit. We can go there right now. The airport's being attacked. don't worry, the United States is gonna help the Saudis who own a lot of things in this country and were probably responsible for nine eleven. Do I have to say probably allegedly, I think. Has it been proven in a court of law? Hey, what are you gonna do? nine dead after shooting in Erie, Pennsylvania. Governor says suspected shooter also dead. really no information about this right now. No name on the shooter, the victims were related or why this happened, just that it happened. of course there are prayers no thoughts though. It's hard to get excited over another mass shooting anymore. It just is so common. Even to talk about how common it is feels like the hackiest thing in the world. there's no angle to even play other than all right, it's gonna happen. There's gonna be mass shootings. We're never gonna do anything to try to stop that. It's the onion headline. How could this happen again says the country where the the only country where it happened. I just butchered the headline. It's perfectly written, very funny headline. It's the only joke to be made every time this happens. Not that it's a thing to joke about. It is kind of a if it happened once, it's not a thing to joke about. The fact that it happens a few times a week makes it something to joke about. if I am killed in a mass shooting I want people to joke about that mass shooting. Not about me in particular. But you joke about the mass shooting also politicize that mass shooting. You can politicize you can politicize me. Pope Leo declares death penalty inadmissible as his native US plans to live stream execution. It is interesting that all these Republicans, they embrace the Catholic Church because it's so pro-life and kind of anti-gay, a little less anti-gay than it used to be, but they embraced it. and they rape children, another thing that Republicans love. So they a lot of them join JD Vance. He said, you don't like gay people, rape children. Let me convert. And then he has a book about it. I've read it. It's it's really I haven't read it. that's a joke. That's an obvious joke. But the complicated thing the Catholic Church doesn't like war. anti-death penalty. I am anti-death penalty pro abortion. I'm not immune to the charms of this Chicago Pope. he seems like he's okay for being in charge of such a corrupt criminal organization. and he's seemingly against the live streaming of an execution, J D. Vance that said the Pope should be careful when he talks about Bible or something? I I'm I'm messing up the quote, but he said something as dumb as that. Basically saying the Pope doesn't know shit, God hates poor people, Reuters, Eric Prince's forces suffer battlefield loss in Congo. Former UFC fighter among wounded sources say that's a business that's allowed to exist. mercenary army. Allowed to exist in the United States. Like that guy is a billionaire, and he sends mercenary fighters. to other countries. it seems like a business that exists in the underworld in an 80s action movie. And now it's just a company that's traded publicly. I don't know if it's a publicly traded company, but it it feels like you could buy stock in a mercenary army company some of them got injured. Among them, a UFC fighter guy. it says suffer battlefield loss in Congo. does that mean people died and they're just pointing out the one UFC fighter guy? Eric Prince not a not a good dude. don't want anybody to get hurt anywhere, but you know, going into the Congo Christina Pike discharged from hospital and returned to prison, her lawyers say. I would think you get released from the hospital, the doctor's gonna say you really gotta lay off those lethal injections. you can't have any. Not even a little bit. they're not gonna try to kill her again with lethal injections. It probably really itching to execute her. get two two last meals though. have a different last meal. If she was torn between last meals, she gets the other one now. that's pretty good. I don't know what I'd do last meal. Maybe go appetizers all appetizers load up on dessert I don't care about a main course. appetizers, that's where the action's at. ICE agent shot by 72 year old after early morning assault in Fresno, police say. I saw this yesterday. the ICE officer off duty passed out drunk on some random front lawn, when confronted by the guy who owned the house, the seventy-two year old man, he attacked him. The guy's daughter's tries to get involved. this ICE agent attacks the daughter and then seventy two year old pulls out a gun and shoots the ICE officer who's a yeah off duty blackout drunk and was shot. I don't think he was killed. so it's not an altercation with ice. it's just the behavior that you would expect from those guys off duty playing out. New speed cameras in Malibu detect more than a hundred thousand violations on PCH in nine days. They're putting up speed cameras all around LA there's been no accountability at all Not since I've lived here. I've never seen anybody pulled over for anything. Everybody gets to do whatever they want. people drive like there's no rules because there's basically no oversight. I see a cop like every three weeks except for the helicopters. The helicopters ten a day. Don't know exactly what they're doing. But cops like pulling people over for running red lights or driving recklessly or anything? No, it just doesn't happen. now they're putting up speed cameras all of a sudden there's some sort of accountability thing. I'm not for the speed camera. It speed cameras f feel a little weird, but they're putting them up I guess everybody's gonna get tickets now. They're gonna make a lot of money Hundreds of thousands without power after Isaiah slams the Florida panhandle in Alabama. I don't know how to say this new hurricane name. I I'm saying Isaias, but I haven't heard it said, so I don't know how it's pronounced. I'll find out before tomorrow. it's hitting Florida. They were doing good they they had like a light hurricane season you're in Florida and without power listening to this podcast, good for you. You know, you gotta get your information. If I have this right, Modi wants to maintain power. There's elections in India. They fuck with the voter rolls. They say that impacted the election. People are protesting. Modi to prove he did nothing wrong has locked up the protesters. Because, hey, I didn't do anything wrong. What are you yelling about? You're going to jail. This has got to be giving the Trump administration some ideas.
