- 0:35Cowboy bring the heat.
- 0:37Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.
- 0:40Half hour hustle, yeah,
- 0:42we building that brand.
- 0:43Grab a plate, tune in now,
- 0:45you part of the fam.
- 0:50It's lunch time.
- 0:53Boom.
- 0:53Boom.
- 0:58Here we go.
- 1:00What's going on, brother?
- 1:04Oh, same stuff.
- 1:06Different day, as it turns out.
- 1:10I'm wearing the T-shirt of my favorite
- 1:12athlete.
- 1:13You know, I can't.
- 1:15Does that say Jamie?
- 1:17Hell yeah.
- 1:21I ain't mad at Jamie Letterman.
- 1:22Big fan.
- 1:25Let's go to the Sirloin Stockade.
- 1:28I don't even know what that means,
- 1:29but anywhere there's sirloin, let's roll.
- 1:33At a stockade, let's have some fun.
- 1:35A hundred percent.
- 1:36All the way in.
- 1:38All the way in.
- 1:40I would much rather go to a sirloin
- 1:42stockade than a golden corral.
- 1:44I was just thinking that.
- 1:49You know what I miss is the old
- 1:51ponderosas.
- 1:54I've heard of ponderosas.
- 1:55We never had those around here, though.
- 1:58Dude, it was like ten cent steaks.
- 2:01Dude, it was so bad.
- 2:05So riding back and forth to the venue
- 2:10every day in Birmingham for semifinals,
- 2:14me and Bernard passed by this place.
- 2:16It took us two times before we actually
- 2:17realized what it said,
- 2:18but it was a discount pharmacy.
- 2:21And we were discussing the fact that I
- 2:23don't really want a discount pharmacy.
- 2:25If it comes to my prescriptions,
- 2:27like I want,
- 2:28I don't want the shit that's been on
- 2:29the shelf for ten years.
- 2:31And like we suddenly try to just get
- 2:32it off of there.
- 2:33Like I want the real stuff.
- 2:34And I feel like a ten cent stake
- 2:36is probably around the same thing.
- 2:38Like I don't really want,
- 2:39I don't want discount meat.
- 2:40I don't want a discount pharmacy.
- 2:42I don't want,
- 2:43like I am willing to pay full price
- 2:44for that kind of stuff.
- 2:46Maybe that's just me.
- 2:46I don't know.
- 2:50Um,
- 2:51my Clydesdale media t-shirt gave me extra
- 2:53workout superpowers.
- 2:54It's, it's what it does.
- 2:56I don't like to advertise that because
- 2:58like,
- 2:59I just want my close friends to get
- 3:01the superpower.
- 3:03It is a side effect.
- 3:04You're welcome.
- 3:05But it is.
- 3:07I don't want to sound like a discount
- 3:10drug commercial that you may get some
- 3:12itching and rashing between your genitals
- 3:14and anus.
- 3:15It seems to be on the TV all
- 3:17the time now.
- 3:18I know you were looking for ibuprofen,
- 3:20but this is bibuprofen.
- 3:21It's slightly different,
- 3:22but it's real close to the same thing.
- 3:24No, I don't want that.
- 3:30How about a pocket jerky joint?
- 3:32Well,
- 3:32we hit that joint right before this show.
- 3:34Right before the show as I got popped
- 3:36in with pocket jerky.
- 3:38It's perfectly fine.
- 3:39I was actually calling it pocket protein,
- 3:41which actually sounds a whole lot worse
- 3:42than jerky in my opinion.
- 3:47It identifies as ibuprofen.
- 3:53Oh, look at Birch.
- 3:55Yeah, there you go.
- 3:57Just as I haven't worn my shirt yet
- 3:58because I'm not sure the ladies at the
- 4:00gym could handle it.
- 4:01Dude,
- 4:02that shirt has so many cool side effects,
- 4:04but you got to be prepared.
- 4:07You need to be, yeah.
- 4:11You can't just randomly throw it on.
- 4:14Yeah, it's like,
- 4:16do you ever see the movie Batman?
- 4:18He keeps his suit in a case,
- 4:21like a full glassed-in locker,
- 4:25because it has superpowers.
- 4:27It makes him strong.
- 4:29It makes him smart.
- 4:30It's a display case that only he and
- 4:32Alfred can see, which is kind of creepy,
- 4:34if I'm being completely honest.
- 4:36But I mean,
- 4:36it is Batman we're talking about.
- 4:39And that's why you have to be careful
- 4:42with the Clydesdale Media shirt.
- 4:44But if you want one,
- 4:47we got them for sale.
- 4:48As it turns out, thirty,
- 4:51thirty two dollars.
- 4:53That includes shipping in the U.S.
- 4:55If you're outside the U.S.,
- 4:59We'll figure something out.
- 5:01Let's talk.
- 5:02Let's talk if we're outside the US.
- 5:04In addition to that, there it is.
- 5:07There it is right there.
- 5:08It's soft and comfortable.
- 5:09I'm getting so many comments about how
- 5:11soft it is.
- 5:12A hundred percent.
- 5:15Jay Birch, we have everything left.
- 5:18All the things.
- 5:19All the things, Jay Birch.
- 5:20We got all of them.
- 5:22so birch said he's doing a lifting
- 5:23competition he's going to need that to
- 5:24represent i mean i'd like to know what
- 5:26kind of like we're doing like a power
- 5:27lifting thing birch what kind of what kind
- 5:29of comp you got going on there brother
- 5:31well let me let me finish that you
- 5:32got to give me your name your address
- 5:35and your size in the comments of the
- 5:38venmo or cash app you see the qr
- 5:40codes there right below it is the username
- 5:43and if they ask you for my last
- 5:45four digits of my phone number six eight
- 5:47four nine six eight four nine so with
- 5:58that now lifting comp power olympic
- 6:02sandbag oh that would be amazing i would
- 6:09go watch that
- 6:11like it's gonna happen just it's gonna be
- 6:13the the lifting event from the games in
- 6:15twenty what was that twenty one twenty two
- 6:19when did boss do them power lifting power
- 6:23lifting all right birch i was a power
- 6:25lifter for like ten months oh man
- 6:31So I hear all these,
- 6:33especially even just around us, oh,
- 6:36I did powerlifting in high school,
- 6:38or yeah,
- 6:39we had soccer at high school and whatnot.
- 6:42At Assumption High, we had football,
- 6:44basketball, baseball, cross country.
- 6:48It was actually a golf team,
- 6:49believe it or not,
- 6:50which there was only like three people on
- 6:52it.
- 6:52um that's it there's no power lifting
- 6:56there was no yeah basic if you could
- 6:59find it on uh espn we probably did
- 7:02it at our stuff um amanda says her
- 7:07shirt definitely helped her get through
- 7:08some dumbbell thrusters this week see i
- 7:11didn't even add that in because this
- 7:15collides dale does not like thrusters of
- 7:17any form kind anything
- 7:22anything that like helps you with that is
- 7:25is a plus so but i was not
- 7:27thinking thruster help when i ordered and
- 7:29created the shirt glad it glad it had
- 7:33some rollover uh max bench squat dead with
- 7:39an amrap of each in between okay that's
- 7:45like a tie like a tiebreaker
- 7:48I don't know.
- 7:49That sounds kind of crazy.
- 7:50I like it though.
- 7:51Yeah.
- 7:52Every powerlifting meet I ever did was
- 7:53just bench, squat, deadlift.
- 7:57Yeah.
- 7:57Brody did powerlifting his sophomore to
- 8:00freshman year in high school.
- 8:03It was fun to watch.
- 8:05So those kids were absolutely monsters.
- 8:10It's incredible.
- 8:12yeah uh max bench then drop the weight
- 8:15to a prescribed weight and one minute of
- 8:18amrap of bench oh dude okay that changes
- 8:23the game completely because the fatigue
- 8:26from the amrap is way worse than the
- 8:28one rep max absolutely people don't
- 8:32realize how long a minute is until you
- 8:34have to do something for the entire minute
- 8:37i did a comp
- 8:39And they had one of those floater wads
- 8:41that everybody had to go do.
- 8:43And it was one-minute AMRAP of,
- 8:46I want to say, like,
- 8:47one-thirty-five bench.
- 8:48And you're thinking, that's nothing.
- 8:52And then you're getting into, like,
- 8:54you're getting into, like, thirty-eight.
- 8:56Holy shit.
- 8:57Thirty-nine.
- 8:58And you're sitting there just trying to
- 9:00hold it up like you're supposed to.
- 9:01Because if you rack it, you're done.
- 9:04That's right.
- 9:05You're not.
- 9:06You're sitting there with noodle arms.
- 9:10I'm going to get back up.
- 9:10I'm going to get back up.
- 9:11No, you're not.
- 9:12You're not.
- 9:12I'm sorry.
- 9:16If I can last a minute, I'm good.
- 9:20They didn't say max thrusters, Joseph.
- 9:23They said max bench.
- 9:26I mean, same thing.
- 9:30Same, same, but different.
- 9:32Same, same, but different.
- 9:35So I had a really...
- 9:38really really weird experience today i am
- 9:42so here for it so i told you
- 9:45i hate my job i think i don't
- 9:48know vicky has he ever mentioned that
- 9:49before remind us um i had to do
- 9:55a training today for another department on
- 9:59how to use our website so hour and
- 10:02a half training
- 10:04I hate training anymore.
- 10:05I used to do it all the time.
- 10:06Just hate doing it.
- 10:08So I finished the training and they put
- 10:14up a poll.
- 10:17How good was the training?
- 10:20And I'm sitting there thinking, is,
- 10:22am I back in grad school?
- 10:23Am I getting like graded immediately
- 10:25following this training?
- 10:27Right.
- 10:29So why did I break out into a
- 10:31cold sweat?
- 10:33So you were just talking to this guy.
- 10:35How good of a job did he do
- 10:36five seconds ago?
- 10:39Hold on.
- 10:40And it's right up there on the screen.
- 10:41There's a poll.
- 10:43I need you to back up a little
- 10:44bit.
- 10:45Did you say that you had to teach
- 10:47people how to use a website today?
- 10:51So I help people find work, right?
- 10:53That's my department's job, right?
- 10:58Right.
- 10:59So we have a job website that has
- 11:00a lot of tools for employers to be
- 11:03able to post jobs,
- 11:05how to be able to create templates,
- 11:07auto-reject letters,
- 11:09different stuff like that.
- 11:10So I was showing them how to use
- 11:11all those aspects.
- 11:13Got you.
- 11:15Not that I wanted to rehash the training.
- 11:18No, I know.
- 11:20But you said you were trying to show
- 11:22people how to use a website.
- 11:23I'm like, what year are we in?
- 11:25Because I'm fairly certain most people
- 11:26probably know how to use a website.
- 11:29Well,
- 11:29you shouldn't make assumptions like that
- 11:31either.
- 11:31I am open to being wrong.
- 11:34Um, so yeah,
- 11:36it all finishes and I'm like,
- 11:37thank you for having me.
- 11:38Any other questions?
- 11:39They're like, no.
- 11:40And they're like, okay, here's a poll.
- 11:42Did you get anything out of this training?
- 11:43How good was this training?
- 11:45Immediately.
- 11:46Are you kidding me?
- 11:49I'm sitting right here.
- 11:55That's terrible.
- 11:56Yeah.
- 11:57At a point.
- 11:58And then I was like,
- 12:01they usually do that later on in the
- 12:04corporate world I was in,
- 12:06not publicly flog them right in front of
- 12:08the presenter.
- 12:09Right, right.
- 12:10Usually you send out a survey following
- 12:13and say, hey,
- 12:14did you get anything out of this?
- 12:15Blah, blah, blah.
- 12:16But they asked like,
- 12:19what are the chances of you using what
- 12:20you just learned?
- 12:22It's basically saying, hey,
- 12:24did you find Scott likable at all?
- 12:26No.
- 12:26Then it was, was the training good?
- 12:32did you get anything out of this training?
- 12:35And I'm sitting there like,
- 12:36you have to be shitting me.
- 12:38Guys, I'm still here.
- 12:43here oh or mark it um airbnb are
- 12:49notorious for this now because not only
- 12:52can you rate the airbnb the airbnb can
- 12:54rate you as a person and like you
- 12:57know how was your what how were you
- 12:59as a as a somebody who stayed in
- 13:00their house or or whatever and uh the
- 13:04car one uh whose name's turo does it
- 13:07does it too hey basically saying hey do
- 13:09you give me a five-star review i'll give
- 13:10you for a five-star review
- 13:13Yeah, it's all a joke.
- 13:16Should we use this information to fire Mr.
- 13:18Schweitzer?
- 13:18It kind of felt that way, Ken.
- 13:20I'm not going to lie.
- 13:22Right.
- 13:24Like it took me back to grad school
- 13:27and doing my like keynote, not keynote,
- 13:30capstone presentation.
- 13:35And then right after getting immediate
- 13:36feedback from the professor.
- 13:38While everybody's still in class and the
- 13:42mic's on.
- 13:42Watching me get flogged.
- 13:45Sitting there telling you how shitty it
- 13:47was.
- 13:50I got a four or six out of
- 13:51five stars.
- 13:56But that son of a bitch that gave
- 13:57me a three.
- 13:59When I find out who you are...
- 14:07Facebook marketplace will have you rate
- 14:09the seller before you even picked up the
- 14:11item.
- 14:12That's DoorDash.
- 14:14Hey, how was your meal?
- 14:15I haven't even eaten it yet.
- 14:16I don't know.
- 14:17It hasn't gotten to my house yet.
- 14:21Vlogging is not endorsed by the Clydesdale
- 14:23podcast.
- 14:26For the most part.
- 14:28The most part.
- 14:29It depends on the flogging,
- 14:30if I'm being completely honest.
- 14:32Nighttime activities is all about pay.
- 14:35That private.
- 14:37Whoever initiated that poll didn't sleep
- 14:39at all in or have their third Z.

- 14:54Get the best sleep and recovery tool in
- 14:56the business.
- 14:57Dude,
- 14:58I took mine last night because I knew
- 14:59doing this training I wasn't going to
- 15:00sleep well.
- 15:03And I was out like I was out
- 15:05where like this morning I did not want
- 15:06to get up.
- 15:08That's outstanding.
- 15:12I equate this to tipping while the waiter
- 15:14is in front of you.
- 15:15Let's see how good you were today.
- 15:17And then looking at him,
- 15:19like staring at him.
- 15:21One dollar, two dollar.
- 15:24It's kind of like a strip joint, right?
- 15:27You're basically tipping right in front of
- 15:30the dancer.
- 15:31How good are you?
- 15:33stop throwing nickels at her in my pocket
- 15:36yeah you got change you got any change
- 15:41i know they i know they discontinue into
- 15:42pinning but this is all i got so
- 15:44okay that's the best i mean tipping in
- 15:55front of a waiter is the same thing
- 15:58right or am i am i off no
- 16:00that's that's pretty much same thing i
- 16:01mean you you're you're
- 16:03You're paying for a service at that point
- 16:05or you're tipping for the service that you
- 16:07received.
- 16:09So, yeah, same thing.
- 16:16Nicole's comment.
- 16:17Yeah, that's fantastic.
- 16:19Make it hail, baby.
- 16:20Make it hail.
- 16:20Instead of making it rain at the strip
- 16:23club, hey, I got a roll of quarters.
- 16:25Yeah.
- 16:27look and i know we've talked about this
- 16:29before i've been to i think three strip
- 16:30clubs in my entire life but i would
- 16:32i'm the dude i would come in there
- 16:34no lie no i'm serious i've been to
- 16:37like three i went my buddy shorty's uh
- 16:40bachelor party we went right there in
- 16:42baton rouge and some came try to talk
- 16:43to us while we were sitting down and
- 16:45i was just like every avenue she tried
- 16:48i just kept shutting her down because i
- 16:50had i don't i
- 16:51It just doesn't interest me.
- 16:52It never has.
- 16:54Like the three times that I've been,
- 16:55I've been with other people who dragged me
- 16:56to it.
- 16:57It's terrible.
- 16:59Mark Phillips is the dude.
- 17:01How about making it rain?
- 17:04Not hail.
- 17:06My guy.
- 17:08Gifting five Clydesdale Media memberships
- 17:11because he is the best.
- 17:14He's an outstanding human being.
- 17:16So if you're in the chat,
- 17:17you may be one of the lucky ones
- 17:18that gets a membership to the Clydesdale
- 17:21Media membership.
- 17:22channel uh and there'll probably be some
- 17:24member only stuff coming out while i bet
- 17:27wfp i'm gonna try to get some content
- 17:29while i'm there of course it'll always
- 17:32eventually be for the public but if you're
- 17:35a member you get a little bit early
- 17:38and you want to get it early because
- 17:39it's going to be quality content just
- 17:41throwing that out there
- 17:43Yes, Ms.
- 17:45Winter, Ms.
- 17:45Trent Olive there.
- 17:47It's like at a place where they say,
- 17:48the screen is going to ask you a
- 17:50question.
- 17:51Oh, is it?
- 17:52Let me turn this around for you so
- 17:55you can sign it.
- 17:58Yeah.
- 18:00Bless.
- 18:02Always triple the denial number is the
- 18:05equivalent.
- 18:05That's what I heard too, Ken.
- 18:07You can try it all you want, dog.
- 18:09My history speaks for itself.
- 18:11It's never interested me.
- 18:13It's all the buildup and no payoff.
- 18:16No thanks.
- 18:16I'm perfectly fine without that.
- 18:21Strip clubs are so uncomfortable.
- 18:22Yeah.
- 18:23The
- 18:28I think by design they're supposed to be
- 18:30comfortable, but I mean, whatever.
- 18:32Like for you to sit down and just
- 18:33stay a while.
- 18:34That's what they expect you to do.
- 18:36One of the top five weirdest things
- 18:38happened to me at a strip club.
- 18:40Oh.
- 18:40Like honest to God,
- 18:41like I have not been to that many
- 18:43strip clubs in my life.
- 18:44Right.
- 18:45I was in one for a twenty first
- 18:47birthday.
- 18:49And there was a stripper that apparently
- 18:51was pregnant.
- 18:52Oh.
- 18:53And squirted.
- 18:57stuff out of her bosom breast milk just
- 19:00flying everywhere yep yeah thought that
- 19:02was a cool trick to do on stage
- 19:06so i think it's rule thirty four um
- 19:10if you can imagine it it exists on
- 19:11the internet and there's probably made
- 19:15some sort of adult entertainment about it
- 19:19i'm sure that's a thing i am sure
- 19:25Anyway.
- 19:28Hey, and look, let me tell you, Ed,
- 19:32depending on the service, I also have...
- 19:39Joseph, every strip club I've been in,
- 19:41that is optional to you.
- 19:42A hundred percent.
- 19:44Whether you want to reach in and get
- 19:46another dollar out for that,
- 19:48that's on you.
- 19:49Whether you want to reach in and just
- 19:50eat some pocket jerky,
- 19:51that's on you as well.
- 19:52I'd probably go to Pocket Jerky first.
- 19:55That's just me.
- 19:59Ed's saying,
- 20:00I have zero issues tapping no tip.
- 20:02It depends on where I'm at and what
- 20:04the service is.
- 20:05But yeah, no, I don't.
- 20:07I've only not tipped a waitress or waiter,
- 20:09whatever, server, excuse me.
- 20:13maybe twice in my life.
- 20:14Cause I've,
- 20:15I've done that job and I understand it.
- 20:17Um,
- 20:17but like there's sometimes where the
- 20:19shit's just inexcusable.
- 20:20Like if you just,
- 20:21if I'm trying to do stuff and you
- 20:23disappear for like an hour, sorry, you,
- 20:27you weren't here.
- 20:28Not doing that.
- 20:29You know what?
- 20:29I found the magic of tipping it.
- 20:31So I was a bartender.
- 20:33I was a bouncer.
- 20:34I've worked in that industry.
- 20:36Yep.
- 20:37So it's really hard for me to not
- 20:39tip.
- 20:40Same.
- 20:40But if my server takes care of my
- 20:44kid like... ...thirty percent.
- 20:49Oh yeah.
- 20:50A hundred percent.
- 20:51That's like the magic button.
- 20:52If you're there with the kid and you
- 20:55take care of the kid,
- 20:55the parent is going to love you forever.
- 20:57Yeah.
- 20:59And especially young kids.
- 21:01If you take care of my eight year
- 21:02old and like make sure she's got the
- 21:03stuff that she needs or whenever,
- 21:05whenever she was younger, um, even,
- 21:07even more so.
- 21:08Yeah, absolutely.
- 21:09You're going to get,
- 21:09you're going to get taken care of.
- 21:12Uh, Wayne says,
- 21:12if we're both standing up when I,
- 21:14when you take my order, no tip.
- 21:17That is the weird thing though now, right?
- 21:20When you have to go to a buffet
- 21:22or you're up at the counter ordering off
- 21:25the menu that is above their head,
- 21:28there really is no reason to tip at
- 21:30that point.
- 21:31No.
- 21:33If you're going to turn around and do
- 21:34this...
- 21:34If I'm participating in the service,
- 21:39I'm not tipping you.
- 21:40Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 21:41but if you're just handing me my coffee,
- 21:45probably not.
- 21:47Probably not.
- 21:49Yeah.
- 21:52Given the mess my four kids make in
- 21:54spite of my best efforts to keep things
- 21:56tidy,
- 21:57the waitstaff is going to get a good
- 21:58tip from me as an apology,
- 22:00if nothing else.
- 22:02That's fair, right?
- 22:03I mean,
- 22:05you're feeling some type of way about the
- 22:06fact that they're acting like children,
- 22:08which is fine.
- 22:09They should be, but yeah.
- 22:11Yeah.
- 22:15If I have to download an app to
- 22:16look at the menu, no tip.
- 22:18If you watch like Bar Rescue or Gordon
- 22:22Ramsay,
- 22:24that is the thing they hate the most.
- 22:26Absolutely.
- 22:30So my big pet peeve is don't bring
- 22:33me a packet of salad dressing.
- 22:37Fake me out.
- 22:39Just squirt it into a solo cup.
- 22:41Yeah.
- 22:42Take it out of a jug.
- 22:43I don't care if your hand make it,
- 22:44just fool me.
- 22:47You bring me out a bag of Ken's
- 22:49dressing.
- 22:51So one of my managers,
- 22:55when I was waiting tables,
- 22:57Twenty-something years ago,
- 22:59told me one night, perception is reality,
- 23:01especially if you are working the floor,
- 23:04if you are bartending,
- 23:05if you are waitstaff or whatnot.
- 23:08Somebody sees you running around frazzled,
- 23:11like they're going to think, okay,
- 23:12they're getting bad service because you're
- 23:13clearly, you're in the weeds,
- 23:15you're running around frazzled.
- 23:16Same thing with that kind of shit.
- 23:18I don't know you didn't make this dressing
- 23:20by hand unless you bring out a plastic
- 23:23packet of it and sit it next to
- 23:25my salad.
- 23:26Yep.
- 23:28Lie to me.
- 23:29I won't ever know the difference and I'm
- 23:31perfectly fine with it.
- 23:33But the minute you bring me out a
- 23:36packet, I feel like you don't care.
- 23:38Yeah, absolutely.
- 23:42Jay Burke or Birch asks,
- 23:44should I tip a bartender for giving me
- 23:46a beer?
- 23:47It all depends on how that beer is
- 23:48given to you.
- 23:49Yep.
- 23:49That is the key with tipping.
- 23:51It's not about what you receive.
- 23:53It's about how you receive it.
- 23:55Correct.
- 23:58If I order my flat white at the
- 23:59coffee shop and somebody actually has to
- 24:01turn around and make the foam,
- 24:02all that good stuff, boom, yes,
- 24:04you are going to get some sort of
- 24:05tip.
- 24:06But what it is,
- 24:09I have absolutely no idea.
- 24:10We're going to figure that part out as
- 24:12we go because it's also going to depend
- 24:15on how you hand it to me.
- 24:19If you're handing it to me like this
- 24:23because I am not the type of person
- 24:24you expect to see in your coffee shop
- 24:25that morning, then you can get fucked.
- 24:31was tip etiquette on the docket uh
- 24:33absolutely not mark no you're getting the
- 24:36gist of this show now yep yeah there's
- 24:40a lot of things that you can do
- 24:42to just i think we all just want
- 24:45to be fooled into thinking you give a
- 24:49about serving me absolutely that's that's
- 24:55The entire, in my opinion,
- 24:57if you are good at what you do,
- 25:00if you are a good server,
- 25:03whether you're having a good day or a
- 25:04bad day, nobody's ever going to know.
- 25:08Because you're going to get there and
- 25:09you're going to treat everybody the same,
- 25:10no matter what else is going on.
- 25:12You're going to smile through it,
- 25:13even if they are complete assholes to you
- 25:15the entire time.
- 25:16Same thing when I was bartending,
- 25:17bartending,
- 25:18it's a little bit easier because, um,
- 25:21then waiting on people and having to bring
- 25:22them food and whatnot,
- 25:23because you're just making drinks and,
- 25:24and, and slinging beers.
- 25:25And you can be a lot more personable
- 25:26because they're right there in front of
- 25:28you or, and they might walk away for,
- 25:30for whatever reason.
- 25:31Um,
- 25:32when you have to keep going back to
- 25:32somebody's table.
- 25:33And they have all the questions and all
- 25:35the problems.
- 25:37That's a whole different thing.
- 25:40I really don't have a problem tipping if
- 25:42I get good service.
- 25:44And it's the carrot that gets me that
- 25:46good service because they know the better
- 25:48they treat me,
- 25:49the better I'm going to tip.
- 25:51That is getting fair wages for what they
- 25:53do.
- 25:54Yeah, absolutely.
- 25:59So...
- 26:03I think it was Judy that said she
- 26:07liked the dressing in the packet because
- 26:10it's a proportion and she can see the
- 26:11macros.
- 26:13I don't want to live that life.
- 26:16No.
- 26:17Generally speaking, Judy,
- 26:18I'm not going to a restaurant.
- 26:20Let's say it's called a steakhouse because
- 26:22I need to worry about my macros at
- 26:24that point.
- 26:25That's probably not a thing.
- 26:26If I'm worried about my macros,
- 26:27I'm going to the protein bar at Golden
- 26:29Corral.
- 26:29Okay.
- 26:33They saddle up to the protein bowl and
- 26:35get some of these hot wings.
- 26:40Got to get my ninety grams of protein
- 26:42in today.
- 26:43I didn't eat this morning or lunch,
- 26:45so I have my ninety grams of protein
- 26:47in right now or one hundred and eighty
- 26:49maybe because, you know, that's a thing.
- 26:54Judy,
- 26:55we don't need that negativity right now.
- 26:56No, no, not at all.
- 27:01Not at all.
- 27:02That's good shit.
- 27:03There's actually restaurants that their
- 27:06salad dressing makes me want to go there.
- 27:10There's an Italian joint in the town north
- 27:13of me called Delaware,
- 27:14probably really close to Judy.
- 27:17And they make a champagne vinaigrette
- 27:19salad dressing.
- 27:21that i would go just for that dressing
- 27:25and a good salad champagne okay champagne
- 27:31champagne champagne vinaigrette that's
- 27:37Interesting.
- 27:37There's a couple places around here that
- 27:40when we go,
- 27:41I'm looking forward to the salad because
- 27:43of their house dressing because it's the
- 27:44one that they make.
- 27:45There's a place in Thibodeau where I used
- 27:48to live that had a hot bacon vinaigrette.
- 27:54It was warm when it went on.
- 27:56I've had that a lot.
- 28:00So good.
- 28:00It's like I was on a spinach salad
- 28:03with...
- 28:06Blue cheese and hot bacon vinaigrette.
- 28:08It's fantastic.
- 28:13It's funny because when I was a kid,
- 28:14I loved creamy dressings like ranch,
- 28:17blue cheese.
- 28:18Everybody does.
- 28:19Can't stand that shit now.
- 28:22I'd much rather have a good vinaigrette on
- 28:24my salad, like a light,
- 28:25crisp vinaigrette than anything creamy.
- 28:31I'd rather have blue cheese crumbles with
- 28:33a good vinaigrette.
- 28:35Yeah, I'll take that too.
- 28:39Champagne and buffets are the glue to this
- 28:44show.
- 28:44At the buffet, baby.
- 28:47I was at the breakfast buffet just Sunday.
- 28:49So I got to tell you,
- 28:50you know I hate reading.
- 28:52I found out that Vicky hates math,
- 28:54and she asked me, what is Corey's thing?
- 28:59I'm like, well, obviously,
- 29:00Corey hates English.
- 29:06has destroyed the english language we're
- 29:08just anti-education on this entire show
- 29:12vicky vicky's like math is dumb scott's
- 29:14like i'm not reading a book as long
- 29:16as i live uh sema sizzles now scott
- 29:22is just talking food porn i love me
- 29:24a champagne vinaigrette champagne that's
- 29:29fantastic
- 29:32Are you still in Texas, Seema?
- 29:36Do they do champagne vinaigrette in Texas?
- 29:40Yeah, they do.
- 29:42Yeah, they do.
- 29:46One of the many things we did on
- 29:47our little road trip over the weekend was
- 29:49my wife, Siri,
- 29:52how many Mexican restaurants were in
- 29:55Houston?
- 29:58Just Houston.
- 30:03There you go.
- 30:08If y'all didn't know,
- 30:09Siri's right next to my microphone.
- 30:15Oh, gosh.
- 30:16Five million people in Houston,
- 30:18one hundred and seventy six Mexican
- 30:19restaurants.
- 30:23Oh, we couldn't have planned that.
- 30:25Oh, look, I got more.
- 30:25I got more as well.
- 30:32Yeah, well,
- 30:32it's at a hundred and seventy six verse,
- 30:34not seventy six.
- 30:34We were set in Syria off all over
- 30:38the world.
- 30:39I love it.
- 30:40Big fan.
- 30:41Big fan.
- 30:44Miller High Life, the champagne of beer.
- 30:48Don't this is going to be one of
- 30:49those shows where I'm going to get like
- 30:50tickled and I can't stop laughing and
- 30:52we're just have to end the show.
- 30:54I'm at that.
- 30:56Seema says, yeah, they do it in Austin,
- 30:58or as I call it, Little California,
- 31:00but I live in Colorado Springs now.
- 31:04If you want good food,
- 31:05Austin is one of the places to go.
- 31:08That is like, dude, man,
- 31:11some of the best restaurants I've ever
- 31:13been to were in Austin.
- 31:14Everybody tickles Scott.
- 31:17Heidi's been back for one show,
- 31:20and she's like,
- 31:20let's kill Scott with tickling.
- 31:22Let's do that.
- 31:23Thanks, Heidi.
- 31:25This Christmas,
- 31:25get your Tickle Me Clydesdale.
- 31:30That would be a bestseller.
- 31:32That's a bestseller right there.
- 31:34Now available on Amazon.
- 31:36Tickle Me Clydesdale.
- 31:40Did you see the last bits of yesterday's
- 31:42Barbell Spin, Scott?
- 31:43I did not.
- 31:45No.
- 31:47Wednesday is my complete rest day.
- 31:49I coach in the morning,
- 31:49do nothing in the evening,
- 31:50but go hang out with the family.
- 31:51I never get to watch them.
- 31:53And...
- 31:54Normally,
- 31:55I watch them as I go to bed
- 31:56at night.
- 31:57And I had that training this morning,
- 32:00so I was not awake for much.
- 32:02Yeah, I bet.
- 32:04No, I wouldn't.
- 32:05I mean,
- 32:05I enjoy it when I do get to
- 32:06watch it.
- 32:07You know, sometimes I'll catch it.
- 32:09But I find out that there's something
- 32:10interesting that they were talking about
- 32:11or something that I want them to want
- 32:13to listen to, you know,
- 32:14what they had to say about it.
- 32:15But I like those guys.
- 32:17Yep.
- 32:18I watch them every week.
- 32:19I just didn't get to it last night.
- 32:21Yep.
- 32:28J-Y on a CrossFit downer.
- 32:29It was interesting.
- 32:31I get it, man.
- 32:34There's a lot of things right now that
- 32:35I'm...
- 32:36i'm having trouble with in crossfit and
- 32:40how much i even want to talk about
- 32:42it anymore and that's why i love this
- 32:43show because cory lets me just do whatever
- 32:46the oh yeah no god lets me cory
- 32:49cory says hey let's get a couple beers
- 32:54and jump into this thing basically here's
- 32:58the thing is that i'm
- 33:01my sparkling personality and my sparkling
- 33:03conversation skills i can i don't mind
- 33:06talking about whatever like that doesn't
- 33:09bother me am i mostly a you know
- 33:12husband father crossfit athlete yeah sure
- 33:15absolutely but we can talk about whatever
- 33:17my interests are wide and varied unlike
- 33:22doc's love of math which is non-existent
- 33:28looking at you vicky
- 33:29So I don't know what they talked about,
- 33:32but this is what I'm going to say
- 33:33about the CrossFit world right now.
- 33:35Um, Jenna, how can I announce yesterday?
- 33:37She's stepping down as director at
- 33:41CrossFit September the ninth.
- 33:44That's her dad.
- 33:44That's her last day.
- 33:46I reached out to her yesterday.
- 33:49Um, she,
- 33:52she's an awesome individual point blank
- 33:55end of story.
- 33:57Um,
- 33:59she has been so crucial to this podcast
- 34:05and this media company being taken
- 34:07seriously at crossfit um and although i
- 34:11didn't agree with every single thing she
- 34:13did she took a media entity at crossfit
- 34:18that was dead correct stale dead done
- 34:24buried actually lifted it up to something
- 34:27that was respectable
- 34:30Yeah.
- 34:31The content that they put out while she
- 34:33was there went from, from, like you said,
- 34:37right before she got there was,
- 34:38it was dead.
- 34:39It was buried.
- 34:40Right.
- 34:40There were flowers up.
- 34:41People would come and pay their respects
- 34:43to dead CrossFit media.
- 34:44And then she absolutely resurrected it and
- 34:48did a fantastic job.
- 34:50I am,
- 34:54I don't know why she's going obviously.
- 34:57Um, but.
- 34:59We're going to be worse off without her.
- 35:02So this is the kind of person that
- 35:04Jenna is.
- 35:05Her response to me was that there are
- 35:10good people still there.
- 35:12They've worked very hard on a blueprint
- 35:14for the future.
- 35:16And it's her expectation that things are
- 35:18going to get even better.
- 35:21I hope so.
- 35:22And good on her for having that,
- 35:24that mindset, whatever,
- 35:25whatever the reasons are.
- 35:29It just, it sucks to see something that,
- 35:31you know, that she's built, right.
- 35:35Work so hard on and whatnot.
- 35:36And all of a sudden, you know,
- 35:37it's been two and a half years and
- 35:40she's, she's out the door come next month.
- 35:44So I hope to God,
- 35:45whoever is going to be taking her place
- 35:48does,
- 35:49does right by her and does right by
- 35:51CrossFit.
- 35:54I really don't want to answer that
- 35:55question right now.
- 35:55Yeah, I don't think that's a...
- 36:00I think this is about Jenna and the
- 36:03job she did and not about who's going
- 36:06to take her place.
- 36:08She worked hard.
- 36:09She cared.
- 36:10She became a dedicated CrossFitter.
- 36:15Can you say that about everybody that's
- 36:17taken roles on a CrossFit?
- 36:19No.
- 36:21Not at all.
- 36:24And yeah,
- 36:26and with marks Phillips saying right
- 36:28there, I'm just glad I'm excited.
- 36:29Somebody actually has a plan over there.
- 36:32Yeah.
- 36:33She said they worked very hard on a
- 36:34blueprint for the future.
- 36:35Right.
- 36:37And it was an it's her belief that
- 36:39that blueprint will be carried out by the
- 36:41people that are there.
- 36:43I certainly hope so.
- 36:46so i hope that whatever she does in
- 36:49the future uh she enjoys and loves oh
- 36:54yeah nothing but absolute respect and best
- 36:57wishes for her whatever she whatever she
- 36:59does going forward so she's gonna i'm sure
- 37:01she's gonna shine wherever she's at good
- 37:04on her yeah um i really really respect
- 37:09her and like her a lot
- 37:12And again,
- 37:12while not everything was exactly how I
- 37:16would have done it,
- 37:17and I've been critical at times,
- 37:20her efforts were never lacking.
- 37:22Here's the thing,
- 37:24and I think people lose this,
- 37:26especially in today's day and age where
- 37:28it's so...
- 37:31accepted or trendy or whatever,
- 37:33to just shit all over everything,
- 37:34no matter what it is,
- 37:36is that it's okay to not agree with
- 37:39every single thing that somebody does and
- 37:41still appreciate it when they do the
- 37:43things that you do agree with.
- 37:46That's okay.
- 37:47We don't have to agree all the time
- 37:48to be respectful and to be friendly to
- 37:51each other and whatnot.
- 37:52That's perfectly fine.
- 37:55And people would lose that a whole lot.
- 37:57And that annoys the hell of a living
- 38:00crap out of me half the time.
- 38:01Like,
- 38:01do I enjoy or did I appreciate every
- 38:04single thing she did?
- 38:05Nope, sure didn't.
- 38:06But did she do a damn good job
- 38:08overall?
- 38:08Absolutely she did.
- 38:11And I think that goes for a whole
- 38:14lot more stuff than just Jenna.
- 38:19good luck to her and her future endeavors.
- 38:22And I'm sure she's going to be successful
- 38:23wherever she goes.
- 38:25So that is awesome.
- 38:27I did have one thing for you before
- 38:29we leave,
- 38:29and I got to get your opinion on
- 38:31this.
- 38:33So I wake up this morning with a
- 38:35notice from ESPN.
- 38:37Oh, that, uh,
- 38:39Jaden Daniels has sent a cease and desist
- 38:45to your beloved, uh,
- 38:47Louisiana State University to stop using
- 38:51his name, image,
- 38:52and likeness because they are letting
- 38:56another player wear his number five.
- 38:58DJ Pickett, one of our star cornerbacks,
- 39:02has number five.
- 39:06Out of all the ridiculous things that I've
- 39:08heard so far this week,
- 39:10that is at the top of the list.
- 39:14Is Dayton James a good quarterback?
- 39:16Absolutely.
- 39:17Did he, yeah, there you go.
- 39:22Did he win the Heisman?
- 39:25Yep, he absolutely did.
- 39:28He hasn't even been gone from LSU long
- 39:32enough for his number to be retired.
- 39:37He hasn't been.
- 39:39There's a certain amount of time that you
- 39:41need to be gone before you can even
- 39:42do that.
- 39:44It's a number.
- 39:46Grow up.
- 39:48So what I heard on get up this
- 39:50morning was that he's upset that Joe
- 39:55Burrow's number is retired and not given
- 39:58to anybody else,
- 39:59but his is not who won a national
- 40:03championship and went undefeated.
- 40:05I'm trying to remember what that guy's
- 40:06name was.
- 40:06Was it Joe?
- 40:08I think it was Joe.
- 40:09Yeah.
- 40:09I think it was Joe.
- 40:11Yeah.
- 40:11The Ohio kid that went down to LSU
- 40:14and, uh,
- 40:16had one of the greatest seasons in college
- 40:18football history the greatest season
- 40:20football season it's not even close um i
- 40:24i don't i don't understand it here's the
- 40:26thing dude while he was here everybody
- 40:28loved jayden big fan right he he did
- 40:33the best he could with what he had
- 40:35yeah exactly
- 40:37heidi has heard of joe burrow she has
- 40:39never heard of this guy exactly um because
- 40:43he had no defense and he had no
- 40:45like it wasn't his fault right he did
- 40:48the best he could to the extent that
- 40:49they gave him the heisman trophy and he
- 40:52well deserved it and earned it absolutely
- 40:54he did but you didn't bring home the
- 40:57natty dog like and it hasn't even again
- 41:01Again,
- 41:02hasn't been long enough that it's been
- 41:04gone,
- 41:05that you've been going to even warrant
- 41:08talking about retiring your jersey.
- 41:10Also,
- 41:11college rosters are so ridiculously huge
- 41:15that there are duplicate numbers on the
- 41:17field.
- 41:18Yep.
- 41:20So even if your number gets retired,
- 41:23somebody's still going to end up wearing
- 41:24it.
- 41:25One person on defense and one person on
- 41:27offense can have the same number.
- 41:28Correct.
- 41:29There's only so many numbers that you can
- 41:32put on a jersey before you start getting
- 41:34into triple digits.
- 41:34Because rosters are like ninety.
- 41:37Yeah.
- 41:37Last time I checked,
- 41:38unless you wear a three-digit number,
- 41:41there's only a hundred choices.
- 41:44Because they allow zero.
- 41:45Yep.
- 41:46And you can go up to ninety-nine.
- 41:48I've never seen, except for Chad Powers,
- 41:52having a hundred and eleven as your
- 41:57number.
- 41:58It doesn't happen.
- 42:00I saw that this morning as well.
- 42:02And it's, again,
- 42:04out of all the ridiculous things I've
- 42:06seen, and it's only Thursday.
- 42:07I think I know the answer to this.
- 42:11Is it fair to say that LSU views
- 42:14Joe Burrow as an iconic legend?
- 42:19Absolutely.
- 42:20And Jaden Daniels as a good player?
- 42:22Yeah.
- 42:25Joe also embraced us down here.
- 42:30The walkout that he's got where he's got
- 42:32the Burrow on the back of his jersey
- 42:33with the EAUX instead of how it's
- 42:36regularly spelled for senior night.
- 42:40Nobody's ever done anything like that
- 42:41before, right?
- 42:42And that was his, hey, I love y'all.
- 42:46I know y'all love me,
- 42:47but I'm going to show y'all how much
- 42:48I actually love y'all because they've been
- 42:50doing that since he got here, right?
- 42:51Because, oh, Burrow,
- 42:52I would spell it the E-A-U-X, you know,
- 42:54Cajun way or whatever.
- 43:00Jaden was great.
- 43:02Jaden was beloved while he was here.
- 43:05But as soon as you get going and
- 43:07you've been going for three years,
- 43:09Two years?
- 43:10Two, three years?
- 43:11Something like that.
- 43:12It ain't been real long.
- 43:14And you come back and do something like
- 43:15this,
- 43:16a lot of love that people had for
- 43:17you is no longer there.
- 43:20I live in the home of Ohio State.
- 43:24If you were an Ohio State football player,
- 43:27you don't even have to be a star.
- 43:28Just coming back and never shitting on
- 43:31Ohio State,
- 43:33you are beloved for the rest of your
- 43:36life.
- 43:37The number of professional NFL players
- 43:41that were used to be Tigers that you
- 43:43can find on the sidelines during a regular
- 43:47season SEC game is absurd.
- 43:50Because they all want to come back.
- 43:52They all want to be in Tiger Stadium
- 43:53on a Saturday night.
- 43:55And they are allowed to just be down
- 43:57there on the sidelines, most of them,
- 43:59but like, you know,
- 44:00before the game or whatnot.
- 44:02But this cease and desist is a sure-fired
- 44:05way to always have to buy your own
- 44:08beverage and never be welcomed back in
- 44:11your college town.
- 44:13Or at the very least,
- 44:14you're going to show back up and
- 44:16everybody's going to be like,
- 44:16what are you doing here?
- 44:18I'm sorry,
- 44:19did we not retire your number fast enough?
- 44:21It's still not retired,
- 44:22so why are you even here?
- 44:26Here's my foot,
- 44:27and I'm going to line up this shot
- 44:28really, really,
- 44:29really good so I can go ahead and
- 44:31put a hole in it.
- 44:35It's so dumb because, like,
- 44:37Maurice Claret,
- 44:39who was not an awesome person to Ohio
- 44:44State when he was here,
- 44:46went to the NFL, was a drunk,
- 44:49pooped out quickly, came back,
- 44:51said he was sorry, asked for forgiveness,
- 44:54and that guy is on the sidelines now.
- 44:57He's in commercials.
- 44:58He's doing all the stuff.
- 45:00Yeah.
- 45:00Like...
- 45:02If you play your cards right,
- 45:04you never have to buy a dinner the
- 45:05rest of your life.
- 45:07True.
- 45:08So, Stan, you're not the only person.
- 45:10A lot of people are saying that that's
- 45:13his mom doing that and not him
- 45:16specifically.
- 45:18Whether or not she's the one that's saying
- 45:19it because she is his business manager or
- 45:21even if she's just putting enough stuff in
- 45:23his ear for him to agree with it
- 45:25and then go ahead and do that.
- 45:27But you signed an NIL deal.
- 45:32however many years ago, I don't know.
- 45:35Like, if I was LSU, I'd be like,
- 45:36okay, so now we're going to double up.
- 45:38Like,
- 45:38we're going to have your face everywhere.
- 45:41Because why wouldn't we at this point?
- 45:43Yeah, I'm watching quarterback right now,
- 45:45and Jaden Daniels is one of the
- 45:46quarterbacks they're following for the
- 45:47season.
- 45:49And his mom is a ruthless businesswoman.
- 45:51She is his agent.
- 45:53She's owned, like, fifteen businesses.
- 45:56And in the first episode, she says –
- 45:59Someone accused her of wanting to get
- 46:01Jaden's money, and she goes,
- 46:03I don't need his money.
- 46:04I got my own money.
- 46:07Good for you, lady.
- 46:10She's ruthless.
- 46:12I just love people that say stuff like
- 46:13that.
- 46:13I don't need his money.
- 46:14I got my own money.
- 46:15All right, good.
- 46:18You're also his agent,
- 46:19which means that you're getting a
- 46:21percentage of his money anyway.
- 46:23So let's not pretend like you're not
- 46:24getting paid just because you're his mom.
- 46:26Let's not pretend that as a woman in
- 46:28that business, you kind of have to be.
- 46:32I'm not mad at her for that.
- 46:35I wouldn't be mad at her for that.
- 46:36I would, however,
- 46:38blame her for stuff like this.
- 46:40Because you came down here,
- 46:42you transferred in from Arizona State,
- 46:44right?
- 46:46You played basically one season.
- 46:48You got all the flowers.
- 46:51You got a Heisman Trophy.
- 46:53And now two years later,
- 46:54three years later, whatever it is,
- 46:56I think it's not his sophomore season in
- 46:58the NFL now.
- 46:59I think it might be his third year.
- 47:01I don't remember.
- 47:03All of a sudden,
- 47:03you just come out with all of this.
- 47:05Come on, dog.
- 47:06Like, it ain't that serious.
- 47:07It really, really ain't.
- 47:10great players do not have to tell people
- 47:12that they are great players man much wiser
- 47:16than myself told me a long time ago
- 47:19don't go to bragging on yourself because
- 47:20as soon as you get good enough everybody
- 47:22else is going to do it for you
- 47:23you ain't got to and that that's that
- 47:26that's what this that's what this screams
- 47:27of um and i hate that i have
- 47:30to clear this up every time there's not
- 47:33a single person on the show that's a
- 47:35buckeye fan no
- 47:37Just because I live in Columbus does not
- 47:39make me a Buckeye fan.
- 47:41It is just here as a reference because
- 47:43I witness it.
- 47:44Yep.
- 47:45Can't help but see it.
- 47:47Right.
- 47:47Can't help but see it.
- 47:48It's a sixty five thousand student
- 47:51university plop dag in the middle of.
- 47:54Well, I just went LSU Tallahassee there.
- 47:56Plop dag in the middle of Columbus, Ohio.
- 48:01Next thing you know,
- 48:01you'll be going to the buffet.
- 48:06I used to have – I wish I
- 48:08still had it somewhere – a meme that
- 48:12had – it had to be from one
- 48:14of the national championships that Ohio
- 48:16lost against one random SEC team.
- 48:21But they had the O-H-I-O in the stands,
- 48:25and it was spelled wrong.
- 48:26Yeah.
- 48:28It was like they had the O,
- 48:28then the I, then the H,
- 48:29then the O. And it said,
- 48:32Ohio State padding the SEC's bowl record
- 48:35since two thousand and three.
- 48:36And I was like, man,
- 48:37I wish I still had that.
- 48:39Yeah, it would not.
- 48:41It would not be appropriate today.
- 48:44Because the Big Ten has won three straight
- 48:46national championships.
- 48:48Yep.
- 48:48Never mind the fact that how many SEC
- 48:50won before that.
- 48:50It's just people don't care about any of
- 48:53that.
- 48:53Well, it's now the NIL world,
- 48:55and the Big Ten graduates make more money.
- 48:57And so now they can put more back
- 48:59into the football program,
- 49:01and they can buy the best talent.
- 49:05Yeah.
- 49:06Indiana's a perfect example of that
- 49:08because Mark Cuban's an Indiana grad.
- 49:13Look who won the national championship.
- 49:15Absolutely.
- 49:18The fact that Texas or Texas A&M doesn't
- 49:22have a billion dollar coffer just because
- 49:24oil money is still mind-blowing to me.
- 49:26It really, really doesn't.
- 49:29Well, I mean, A&M...
- 49:32A&M is relevant again because of the oil
- 49:35money.
- 49:35It hasn't been.
- 49:36Yeah.
- 49:37Right.
- 49:37It hasn't been for quite some time,
- 49:38I'm sure.
- 49:40Yeah.
- 49:40But you know where you can hear more
- 49:41about this kind of stuff?
- 49:42Oh.
- 49:43Tuesday night sports show.
- 49:44I'll tell you what,
- 49:46nobody does segues like we do segues.
- 49:48Yay, sports.
- 49:51Every Tuesday night.
- 49:53Sports.
- 49:54At six p.m.
- 49:55Eastern time, five p.m.
- 49:57Central.
- 50:00whatever the other time zones are.
- 50:05And we've got Joseph there.
- 50:08We've got Garrett Glinton there.
- 50:10We've got nice graphic, Corey.
- 50:15Just trying to help.
- 50:20We've got Jeremy Eat World there in his
- 50:25shitty Packers.
- 50:26Mr. Jeremy Eat World.
- 50:31but uh we have a fun it was
- 50:32so much fun this week i i have
- 50:36not had that much fun in a long
- 50:40time it's good that's a good group dude
- 50:43that's a good group i said i wish
- 50:44i could have made it but unfortunately i
- 50:47gotta well i'll say unfortunately i get to
- 50:51train at that point at that time so
- 50:53you gotta get back on the saddle
- 50:59Did you see Anto Saka from Texas A&M?
- 51:02Looks like he has a mortgage and three
- 51:04kids.
- 51:04No way is he is a college student.
- 51:06Dude, somebody said,
- 51:08where did they get this convict from?
- 51:10He looks like he just got out of
- 51:12prison.
- 51:13He looks like he's thirty seven and is
- 51:16like worried to death about his life.
- 51:18Like I said,
- 51:19like he's got a mortgage and he's got
- 51:21trouble paying it.
- 51:22Like he looks he's not he doesn't look
- 51:24like he's twenty two and like fresh face
- 51:26guy just coming in and coming into
- 51:28college.
- 51:29Not at all.
- 51:32Daniel Arnson asks if it's the NFC North
- 51:36sports podcast.
- 51:37I don't even think we talked NFC North.
- 51:40We talked drunk Tony Romo.
- 51:43We talked clotheslines in a WNBA.
- 51:48Drunk Tony Romo, a.k.a.
- 51:49Tony Romo.
- 51:51Yeah.
- 51:56Yeah.
- 51:57I don't think we even talked about the
- 52:00NFC North.
- 52:02y'all didn't while i was listening for
- 52:04damn sure talk about yeah basic uh classic
- 52:08freaking baseball at this point yep we
- 52:11talked ozzy smith we talked yeah baseball
- 52:14from the hall of fame yeah it was
- 52:18it was a fun show man we were
- 52:19all over the map kind of like this
- 52:21show just wherever the wind took us we
- 52:24went absolutely
- 52:29Yeah.
- 52:29Joseph said, you know,
- 52:30it was a Steelers fan,
- 52:31but that was about it.
- 52:32Yeah.
- 52:35Yeah.
- 52:37And I mentioned why I wasn't a Steelers
- 52:39fan.
- 52:40I mean, so to be fair,
- 52:46when I was growing up, we watched like,
- 52:50yes, we watched the saints,
- 52:52but we also watched a shit ton of
- 52:53cowboys because that's what was on.
- 52:58So like,
- 53:00Cowboys were on.
- 53:00We watched a whole bunch of Cowboys games.
- 53:02I watched a whole lot of Dallas Cowboy
- 53:04football when I was a kid.
- 53:05It didn't make me a fan necessarily,
- 53:08but I was way more aware of the
- 53:10fact of Roger Staubach and like all of
- 53:13those guys.
- 53:14And then when they went on those runs
- 53:15in the nineties,
- 53:16you couldn't get away from it,
- 53:17especially down here because Dallas is six
- 53:20and a half hours from here.
- 53:20It's not that far.
- 53:22So we only got four channels.
- 53:25And let's be true.
- 53:26When we were kids,
- 53:26there was only four channels.
- 53:28If you got them all,
- 53:30Yeah, so you got... PBS, CBS, NBC,
- 53:32and ABC.
- 53:33That was it.
- 53:34You got what you got.
- 53:35You got Mr.
- 53:35Rogers and whatever they wanted to show
- 53:37you on the other channels.
- 53:38Yeah, more or less.
- 53:41And back then,
- 53:42you got a lot of Steelers and a
- 53:44lot of Cowboys.
- 53:47Yeah.
- 53:47A lot of Raiders.
- 53:49I see.
- 53:49We didn't even get the Raiders.
- 53:50We got the Cowboys.
- 53:51We got the Saints.
- 53:54How many Atlanta Braves games I've seen on
- 53:56TV because of TBS?
- 53:59Oh, yeah.
- 54:00And Cubs on WGN when we got...
- 54:02Cubs on WGN when we got WGN, yeah.
- 54:05I didn't even know.
- 54:05I was like,
- 54:06why is this Chicago Superstation?
- 54:09I was like, we're in South Louisiana.
- 54:11Yep.
- 54:16But I grew up outside of Pittsburgh,
- 54:18and I defected from the Steelers,
- 54:20and that's why I said why I wasn't,
- 54:22not because I...
- 54:25And my wife is still a diehard Steeler
- 54:27fan,
- 54:27so I have to watch every single game.
- 54:30Every single one.
- 54:32And they were so boring to watch last
- 54:34year.
- 54:35There's nothing worse than a forty two
- 54:37year old quarterback that can only throw
- 54:39the ball five yards at a time.
- 54:44But Aaron Rodgers, but Aaron Rodgers.
- 54:47Listen,
- 54:48I didn't want them to lose because a
- 54:49happy wife is a happy life,
- 54:51but it was boring as hell to watch.
- 54:55It's a bold choice for them to be
- 54:56like, so Aaron, you still want to play?
- 54:58And he's like, yeah,
- 55:00you're forty three years old.
- 55:02I was praying that he wouldn't come back
- 55:04this year.
- 55:04I just I wanted something.
- 55:06I would rather have a young kid throwing
- 55:07interceptions is more exciting than what
- 55:09was going on last year.
- 55:11Well,
- 55:11at least it's something that it's check
- 55:13down, check down, check down, check down,
- 55:15check down, check down here.
- 55:17And that's all it was last year.
- 55:18It was so bad.
- 55:21Oh, it could have been worse.
- 55:22You could have been a jets fan and
- 55:23watching, uh,
- 55:24pull those hamstring on the first play of
- 55:25the game two years ago, three years ago,
- 55:29whatever that was.
- 55:30Uh, it was like in the seventies,
- 55:32every Sunday morning,
- 55:33there was an Irish football show on ABC.
- 55:36So every kid in Northern Minnesota was
- 55:38like Catholic and football.
- 55:39We became Irish fans.
- 55:44So bad.
- 55:45Yeah, I don't have that.
- 55:46I refuse to talk about Notre Dame.
- 55:48Listen, Joseph.
- 55:50The one thing you cannot say about the
- 55:52Bears is they were not interesting to
- 55:54watch last year.
- 55:55Seven fourth quarter comebacks.
- 55:58Caleb Williams making throws that no human
- 56:01being should be able to make.
- 56:03They were fun to watch.
- 56:06if you want more of this tuesday night
- 56:08six p.m but let's just call it let's
- 56:11call it take us out we've hit strippers
- 56:14tips uh salad dressings you name it don't
