  Speaker 1: you're getting from the natural people mankind. Right, it's temporary.

  Speaker 1: Although it might be a great gift, great gesture, Amen, heartwarming,

  Speaker 1: it might be, you know, a great gift. But those

  Speaker 1: gifts that we get from others, Amen, that we give

  Speaker 1: to one another, materialistic gifts, those things are temporary. But

  Speaker 1: we have an opportunity to unwrap eternity, to unwrap a

  Speaker 1: gift that lasts for all of eternity. Christmas isn't just

  Speaker 1: about the gifts under a tree, right, It's about the

  Speaker 1: God who hung on a tree so he could be
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: with us. Listen, forever, forever and forever. Time's infinity. A man,

  Speaker 1: that's eternity. That's eternity. That's the promise we have in
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: the Lord's that's because of his grace, his mercy, his truth,

  Speaker 1: his love. Amen, all of it we have, so we

  Speaker 1: go on to John chapter seventeen, verse number three. Father,

  Speaker 1: I thank you for right now, Thank you for today.

  Speaker 1: I thank you for your evidence that you continue to

  Speaker 1: show us every single day of your new mercies, your grace,

  Speaker 1: your love, your forgiveness, your salvation. Thank you, Lord God

  Speaker 1: for what you're doing. Thank you, Lord God that you

  Speaker 1: created within yourself the opportunity for us to unwrap eternity

  Speaker 1: what you did on that cross all those years ago,

  Speaker 1: satisfied to send debt, so you pay the debt that

  Speaker 1: we owed and that you did not even need to pay.

  Speaker 1: That is the mercy and love that you offered us today,

  Speaker 1: Lo God, Thank you, Lord God for demonstrating your own

  Speaker 1: love and this that while we were still enemies of God,

  Speaker 1: while we were still sinners, you still choose chose to

  Speaker 1: die for us, and you choose us to be your children.

  Speaker 1: You choose us to be your royal priests. You choose

  Speaker 1: us to be the body of Christ. And I'm forever

  Speaker 1: that you would guide, guard and protect us all, Lord God,

  Speaker 1: as a family of God, and that you renew our hearts,

  Speaker 1: restore things that need to be restored, redeem, renew, and

  Speaker 1: that we can have a fresh restart on life knowing
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: that you are the author and that you are the

  Speaker 1: perfector of our faith, and that you love God. Your

  Speaker 1: word and your promises are all yate and amen according

  Speaker 1: to your word and your faithfulness. So I speak life

  Speaker 1: and I pray faith over every single person that our

  Speaker 1: everything look festive during this Christmas season. From the time

  Speaker 1: offers eternal life, the Lord Jesus, that you may know.

  Speaker 1: till you get to the other side of eternity to

  Speaker 1: figure out who the Lord is, right, the only, true,

  Speaker 1: supreme and sovereign God. And in the same manner, no,

  Speaker 1: see that, in the same manner Jesus as the Christ

  Speaker 1: whom you have sent. So the eternal life giver is
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: the one we call the Lord Jesus. He is the Christ,

  Speaker 1: He is the Savior whom the Father sent. In other words,
• 9:59
  Speaker 1: God Father loved us so much that he sent the

  Speaker 1: only eternal life giver of the only Begods and son,
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ, so that way he can be
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: on mission to redeem us. Amen, to go to that cross,

  Speaker 1: to pay to sind that. Notice, in an old Covenant, Amen,

  Speaker 1: God sent the Father sent prophets, and the prophets were rejected,

  Speaker 1: some of them were murdered, some of them were ridiculed. Right.

  Speaker 1: We see that all through the Old Covenant, God was
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: sending messengers to his people so that way they could repent.

  Speaker 1: And unfortunately, just like us now in mordern day times,

  Speaker 1: a lot of people refuse to repent. So God says, okay,

  Speaker 1: if you don't want my will in your life, then
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: have your will be done. Because God does not force
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: anybody to serve him. God does not force anybody to
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: go to his house, does not force anybody to believe

  Speaker 1: in his word. But he offers himself. He offers himself
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: as a living sacrifice. Amen. He offered that. And when

  Speaker 1: He has sended to heaven to be seated at the
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: right hand of the throne, he set one just like him,

  Speaker 1: holy Spirit to live within us. Amen. That's an amazing,

  Speaker 1: that you were going in one direction before Christ, and

  Speaker 1: then when Christ met you where you were he interrupted.

  Speaker 1: I'm glad he interrupted where I was going because I

  Speaker 1: And because of His grace, now I have eternal life

  Speaker 1: in Christ. So unwrapped his eternal life. You could do that, amen, right.

  Speaker 1: So Christmas reminds us that the world unwrapped temporary gifts.

  Speaker 1: Like I was saying early at the start, God invites

  Speaker 1: us to unwrap something far greater than a gift that's
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: given to us from under the tree or whatever the
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: case may be. We could unwrap eternity. John three sixteen.

  Speaker 1: The most popular verse I think in the New Testament

  Speaker 1: is for God so loved the world that he gave
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: his one and only son, So that means Jesus is
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: God's gift. Jesus is God's eternal gift. Jesus is like
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: unwrapping eternity. Amen. A savior sin not just to be born,

  Speaker 1: but to bring us new life. Is that amazing Christ,

  Speaker 1: the Lord born from a virgin who already had lived already,

  Speaker 1: he was already alive, but he humbled himself to be

  Speaker 1: become a form of a man named Jesus, to live

  Speaker 1: a perfect sinless life, to show us and demonstrate his

  Speaker 1: grace's mercy. He forgave sins. Amen. He did everything that

  Speaker 1: the god man was sent to do right, and he

  Speaker 1: did it perfectly. You will never see in the scriptures

  Speaker 1: that Jesus has done anything wrong, and his heart will

  Speaker 1: motion mind. Amen. He was God, so therefore he had

  Speaker 1: knew what he was doing. People say, oh, he didn't

  Speaker 1: to anybody. And Jesus himself did not have to prove

  Speaker 1: who he was. He spoke who he was, he lived

  Speaker 1: who he was. Amen. And to the point of the

  Speaker 1: sacrifice on the cross. And then this is how God

  Speaker 1: showed himself to be true. He died on the cross,

  Speaker 1: and three days later, what did he do? He rose again.

  Speaker 1: We're unwrapping eternity because of what God had offered us

  Speaker 1: through the Lord Jesus Christ. He offered us eternal life.

  Speaker 1: The promise of eternal life won't be found. And nowhere else,

  Speaker 1: no angel, no profit, none of that. The Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: himself promised us eternal life. Folks, to whosoever believes in

  Speaker 1: the Lord shall not perish, but have eternal life. Amen.

  Speaker 1: Now this is eternal life that they know. Amen. That

  Speaker 1: scripture in John seventeen three, that part that they know

  Speaker 1: you sticks out to me because people are going around

  Speaker 1: imagining that they, you know, there should be doing something else.

  Speaker 1: There should be another God, you know, maybe their own God,

  Speaker 1: their own personal God. No, we can know who God

  Speaker 1: is right now and these times, in these days and

  Speaker 1: this season. Amen, we know that the Lord says. We

  Speaker 1: know that the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom

  Speaker 1: the Father said, gives eternal life. Eternal life isn't just

  Speaker 1: living forever. It's knowing God forever. Amen, It's being with

  Speaker 1: Him forever on wrapping his eternal love. Right. We need

  Speaker 1: eternity to get to know God and his beauty and
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: his presence and his love and its majestic ways. Amen.

  Speaker 1: We get to have that opportunity, Amen, to be with

  Speaker 1: the Lord for all eternity. I know some people are like, yeah, right,

  Speaker 1: you know that's for me. Listen, Before I got saved,

  Speaker 1: I heard the story of the Lord Jesus. I heard
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: about his sacrifice. I heard about what he did for
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: his people. But I always thought that was for people
• 16:11
  Speaker 1: outside of my circle. I always thought it was for
• 16:14
  Speaker 1: people who went to church. I always thought it was
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: for people who read the Bible. I never thought in
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: a thousand years that Jesus actually died for me too,
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: for real, real talk. I never thought that Jesus died
• 16:28
  Speaker 1: for me. So I used to always keep that separate.

  Speaker 1: It's always said, yeah, I heard the story of Jesus,
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: and it's cool and everything but he didn't do that
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: for me. So that day in December, right around this time,
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: around these days, it was December eleventh or twelfth, that
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: drunken high in my studio in Allentown, my first home,

  Speaker 1: I called out to him. I didn't call out to Jesus.

  Speaker 1: I called. I said, whoever this God is, if you're real,
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: come and change me. A lot of youths know my testimony.

  Speaker 1: And the thing is the reason why I'm born again

  Speaker 1: to this very day is because he literally met me

  Speaker 1: where I was, changed me right and continues to change me.

  Speaker 1: And now I have a problem. The problem is a

  Speaker 1: good problem is that I don't know how he did that.

  Speaker 1: Don't know how he did it, but I know he did,

  Speaker 1: and now I can know. Now I could know a

  Speaker 1: meant that this God is the real, true, loving, supreme

  Speaker 1: being God, the true God, and Jesus Christ, who the

  Speaker 1: Father sent, gave me eternal life, so unwrapped eternal life,

  Speaker 1: unwrap his presence, not presence that a gift. I'm talking
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: about presence like like we were talking about the other day,
• 17:47
  Speaker 1: like when he's present right and surely I am with
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: you always to the very end of the age. Matthew
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: twenty eight and twenty The gift of Jesus is the
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: promise that you will never walk alone. And I know

  Speaker 1: the holiday season could be lonely for a lot of people.

  Speaker 1: You know, we lose loved ones a man, we mourn.

  Speaker 1: Some people are mourning right now for a loved one,
• 18:13
  Speaker 1: maybe around Thanksgiving, right and now they were heading into
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: the Christmas season. We're into Christmas season and then New Year.

  Speaker 1: A lot of people are not at the place where
• 18:22
  Speaker 1: they're feeling like to celebrating. But when you have the
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: love of God, when you're surrounded by the people, the
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: brothers and sisters of the Family of God, when you're
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: part of the body of Christ, you know that you
• 18:37
  Speaker 1: could go ahead and share your grief. You could go
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: ahead and share your burdens with your brothers and sisters
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: in Christ, the ones that filled with Holy Spirit God,
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: the ones who are praying for you, the ones who
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: love you, the one who embrace you, the ones who
• 18:51
  Speaker 1: listen to you, the ones who care about you. Right,
• 18:54
  Speaker 1: that's the forever family of God. Now you know that
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: you're never alone. And also you have Holy Spirit. A

  Speaker 1: grieving Christians still has Holy Spirit living within us. When
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: we're grieving. We have Holy Spirit inside alive in us, Amen,

  Speaker 1: sharing the grief, caring about us, leading us a man.

  Speaker 1: We could trust in our Lord. We could trust in
• 19:20
  Speaker 1: our Savior. We could trust in the true, righteous, loving
• 19:23
  Speaker 1: Holy God. We could trust in Holy Spirit that lives
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: inside of all his children. We can trust because Holy
• 19:31
  Speaker 1: Spirit leads us into all truth. Holy Spirit does not
• 19:34
  Speaker 1: deny the truth. Holy Spirit doesn't lie to us. Holy
• 19:37
  Speaker 1: Spirit doesn't lead us into paths of wickedness. Holy Spirit
• 19:41
  Speaker 1: doesn't tempt us with sin. Holy Spirit loves us. Holy
• 19:44
