- 0:00Speaker 1: Twenty twenty eight. Now it's silly to talk about who
- 0:03Speaker 1: the candidate's going to be. That's just crazy. I mean,
- 0:06Speaker 1: people love to do it, love to speculate who's going
- 0:09Speaker 1: to be the nominee in twenty twenty eight, but makes
- 0:11Speaker 1: no sense at all to even talk about it. It's
- 0:13Speaker 1: like saying who's going to win the twenty twenty nine
- 0:15Speaker 1: Super Bowl. Who knows. Everything will change ten times between
- 0:19Speaker 1: now and then, But right now, the way it stands
- 0:23Speaker 1: is Gavin Newsom is out. He was the front runner
- 0:26Speaker 1: for a few minutes. And like we always point out,
- 0:29Speaker 1: there's always always in democratic world, three years out, there's
- 0:33Speaker 1: always a front runner. It's always some pretty boy. It's
- 0:35Speaker 1: Gary hard or it's John Edwards or something like that.
- 0:39Speaker 1: They're always the front runner in the beginning. Then they
- 0:41Speaker 1: fizzle out. That was Gavin Newsom this time, and then
- 0:44Speaker 1: you got all these crazy aocs and socialists and all
- 0:47Speaker 1: that stuff. But usually if you're the Democrats, you want
- 0:53Speaker 1: to somehow have somebody rise up and lead you back
- 0:56Speaker 1: to the center, a centrist to like a Bill Clinton,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and this time around that could be Josh Shapiro somebody
- 1:02Speaker 1: like that. But but don't be surprised if they end
- 1:07Speaker 1: up with Kamala Harris again. Kamala Harris is back in
- 1:11Speaker 1: the race. She wants to be the nominee again. She's
- 1:15Speaker 1: running around doing shows and listen to this. She's got
- 1:19Speaker 1: a phrase, a catchphrase she's using. She's urging Democratic voters
- 1:24Speaker 1: to make the midterms. She'd make it look like I'm
- 1:28Speaker 1: just campaigning for the midterms right now, but she's really
- 1:30Speaker 1: it launching a presidential bid. But she wants voters to
- 1:33Speaker 1: make the midterms. Too big to rig. Now, where have
- 1:38Speaker 1: we heard that phrase before? Yeah, she took it from
- 1:40Speaker 1: Donald Trump. She keeps saying too big to rig. It's
- 1:43Speaker 1: a Trump catchphrase. Next thing you know, she'll have matta hats,
- 1:49Speaker 1: make America Democrat again. But she's copying a lot of
- 1:53Speaker 1: Trump stuff. She ripped off the phrase, used it in
- 1:56Speaker 1: several speeches yesterday New Orleans and other places. Gotta be
- 1:59Speaker 1: too big to rig to stop the cheating Republicans. Well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: first of all, all this cheating always turns out to
- 2:05Speaker 1: be Democrats, and it can't be Republicans because the cheating's
- 2:09Speaker 1: all in favor of Democrats, so it's got to be
- 2:12Speaker 1: democrats doing it. She's out there in the campaign trail.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Listen to her.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Of course, the good news is that Donald Trump will
- 2:19Speaker 2: be turned out.
- 2:22Speaker 1: However, now that's what they call an applause line. Normally,
- 2:27Speaker 1: when the candidate says that, the whole audience supposed to
- 2:30Speaker 1: start applodding like crazy. But listen again, she's not. She's talking,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and nobody's really listening. That's why there's no big applause
- 2:37Speaker 1: when she says it.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Of course, the good news is that Donald Trump will
- 2:41Speaker 2: be turned out. However, however, let us also be clear,
- 2:49Speaker 2: there is no term limit on this new Republican Party.
- 2:55Speaker 1: What the hell does that mean? I have no idea
- 2:57Speaker 1: what she's saying and what new Republican party? We see
- 2:59Speaker 1: a new demoocratic party, all the crazy socialists, What new
- 3:02Speaker 1: Republican party? But it is kind of a quiet audience
- 3:06Speaker 1: and not exactly on the edge of their seat listening
- 3:08Speaker 1: to her, and she is kind of a lackluster when
- 3:13Speaker 1: she talks.
- 3:14Speaker 2: This is the most callous, corrupt, and incompetent administration in
- 3:21Speaker 2: America's history.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Now she gets the blog incompetent there, yeah, go incompetent.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So Joe Biden's a vegetable bumping into the walls to her,
- 3:34Speaker 1: that was total competence. Never says a word suddenly, but
- 3:38Speaker 1: it sounds good. It sounds good whoever it is. You
- 3:40Speaker 1: just say the most corrupt, incompetent, it sounds good. And
- 3:46Speaker 1: if you're crazy talking to crazy Democrats, they believe it.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And you got that crazy Hong who's running This is
- 3:52Speaker 1: the one that wanted to ban Thanksgiving forever. Talk about
- 3:56Speaker 1: changing your tune. Remember she was going to ban Thanksgiving.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It was a terrible, corrupt holiday celebrating colonials, which I
- 4:03Speaker 1: hated Thanksgiving. It was painful going to ban it. Now, listen,
- 4:06Speaker 1: my favorite holiday is.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Thanksgiving because I didn't have it.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't want to cancel it.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I actually love it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, there's two weeks ago you're talking about canceling it.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's the worst out. It's totally painful. So hey, they
- 4:30Speaker 1: caught a big, big leaker. Now you remember, there's a
- 4:33Speaker 1: brand new Air Force one. The cutter lent Us gave us.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Actually this big plane. There's supposed to be a new
- 4:41Speaker 1: Air Force one because the current Air Force one is
- 4:43Speaker 1: a little old and dilapidated. So there's a new Air
- 4:47Speaker 1: Force one, state of the art, great, incredible, but Boeing
- 4:51Speaker 1: has had massive delays, so it's way behind schedule. It's
- 4:54Speaker 1: supposed to be ready now won't be ready for a
- 4:57Speaker 1: couple of years, a year or two, big delays. So
- 5:00Speaker 1: Cutter lends President Trump an incredible plane, I mean, state
- 5:06Speaker 1: of the art, makes Air Force one look like an
- 5:09Speaker 1: old propeller plane. I mean, it's unbelievable, it's magnificent. So
- 5:13Speaker 1: the President starts using it. And by the way, this
- 5:17Speaker 1: plane was just a personal plane of the head of Cutter,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so it gives you an idea of the kind of
- 5:21Speaker 1: money they got over there. So he's used in the plane.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, when he's in Europe
- 5:27Speaker 1: or he's in the where was he in Turkey or
- 5:29Speaker 1: someplace close to the Middle East, All of a sudden
- 5:32Speaker 1: they got rid of that new plane and went back
- 5:34Speaker 1: to the old Air Force one. And that was a
- 5:38Speaker 1: little surprising. Why would they suddenly go bring the old
- 5:41Speaker 1: Air Force one back into service. Well, word leaked out
- 5:45Speaker 1: that the problem with the new plane, even though they
- 5:47Speaker 1: spent a fortune and a year refitting it, it didn't
- 5:52Speaker 1: have full missile defense capability. The old Air Force one
- 5:55Speaker 1: has all the missile defense built in. So it leaked
- 5:58Speaker 1: out that this did not have full missile defense. President
- 6:02Speaker 1: Trump denied at the course that it wasn't true, but
- 6:04Speaker 1: you knew it was true. Otherwise he made up some
- 6:06Speaker 1: story about, well, we sent the new Air Force one
- 6:10Speaker 1: up to Britain so people could see it. The whole
- 6:13Speaker 1: story didn't make any sense. So obviously it was true.
- 6:15Speaker 1: But it was a terrible leak. And I can understand
- 6:18Speaker 1: why he denied it, because you don't want to reveal
- 6:20Speaker 1: that to the enemy, that this new one doesn't have
- 6:22Speaker 1: full missile defense. They used the new one, but mostly
- 6:25Speaker 1: now here in the United States. They don't go overseas
- 6:27Speaker 1: with it. But they tracked down the leaker. They found
- 6:30Speaker 1: the leaker, the former Air Force secretary. He leaked the information,
- 6:35Speaker 1: they say, Secretary of the Air Force, Frank Kendall, all
- 6:41Speaker 1: his security clearances have been revoked. He was eligible for
- 6:45Speaker 1: classified information and he's no longer allowed any classified information.
- 6:50Speaker 1: He said that. They say he was the unauthorized leaker
- 6:53Speaker 1: disclosure of classified information regarding Air Force one's capability to
- 6:58Speaker 1: a media outlet. And if they're saying this, I assume
- 7:00Speaker 1: they've actually got it the actual hard proof that probably
- 7:03Speaker 1: a cell phone records that sort of stuff. They caught
- 7:06Speaker 1: him talking to the reporter. Trump administration actually subpoened several
- 7:11Speaker 1: New York Times journalists, So they're the ones New York
- 7:14Speaker 1: Times leaking accused of leaking classified information reporting this, which
- 7:20Speaker 1: causes a tremendous security problem for a president. So they
- 7:24Speaker 1: got the guy. Very good for them. Good for them.
- 7:27Speaker 1: And I assume that's the FBI, cash Fortel people like
- 7:31Speaker 1: that that uncovered this. So you know, when they talk
- 7:35Speaker 1: about the UN General Assembly, the big UN summit where
- 7:39Speaker 1: all the world leaders come here, it's in September, and
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's not that far away. It's just a few weeks away. Yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I hate to break it to you. September is a
- 7:45Speaker 1: couple of weeks away. We're almost at the end of summer.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So Net Yahoo will be coming here. And Mom Donnie
- 7:54Speaker 1: kept talking about arresting net Nahu crypt trying to create
- 7:57Speaker 1: a big problem for Net Yaho. NYPD furious. Now it's
- 8:03Speaker 1: going to be a security nightmare because Mamdani has riled
- 8:06Speaker 1: up people against Netnyah, which creates an even bigger security threat. Now,
- 8:11Speaker 1: the other problem with all of this is they're going
- 8:15Speaker 1: to have to spend a fortune. I don't know where
- 8:18Speaker 1: that all this money is going to come from. But
- 8:20Speaker 1: the NYPD is going to have to have a lot
- 8:21Speaker 1: more manpower on this because he's going to have to
- 8:25Speaker 1: guard Netnya who at his hotel at the UN, his motorcade,
- 8:31Speaker 1: Netnya who tends to go out when he's in New
- 8:33Speaker 1: York to restaurants and stuff. Netnya who used to live
- 8:35Speaker 1: in New York. He used to be I think he
- 8:38Speaker 1: was the ambassador of the UN for Israel. But when
- 8:40Speaker 1: he during those days he lived in New York, he
- 8:42Speaker 1: always saw him in all the top restaurant's Upper East Side.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You'd see him in the Promola and Nicola and every
- 8:50Speaker 1: place he was around town. All the time, he'd be
- 8:53Speaker 1: in Chipriani. And I imagine when he comes back, he's
- 8:57Speaker 1: going to visit his old haunts and his old friends.
- 8:59Speaker 1: So it's going to cost us a fortune thanks to Mom, Donnie.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So you remember the controversy. It is a silly controversy.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But Obama one day wore a tan suit. It was
- 9:13Speaker 1: a very light suit, a tan suit, and everybody created
- 9:16Speaker 1: a stink and they said, this is horrible. Even the
- 9:21Speaker 1: fake news, even when it's not presidential to wear a
- 9:23Speaker 1: tan suit. This is a silly scandal because you could
- 9:26Speaker 1: find pictures of Reagan in a tan suit and other presidents.
- 9:30Speaker 1: You could find FDR in a tan suit. But it
- 9:33Speaker 1: was a silly little controversy. And so there's you know,
- 9:37Speaker 1: there's a Larry David HBO series, not Kurby Enthusiasm. He's
- 9:41Speaker 1: been doing a very limited little series, an HBO series
- 9:44Speaker 1: called Life Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. So if
- 9:48Speaker 1: you love Larry David, it's on HBO. But they did
- 9:51Speaker 1: the season finale and Obama was the special guest, and
- 9:55Speaker 1: the funny sketch in the show was that it turned
- 9:57Speaker 1: out it was Larry David who picked the tan suit
- 10:00Speaker 1: and told Obama to where it's. It's like a flashback
- 10:02Speaker 1: to back then they're in the White House and Obama said,
- 10:06Speaker 1: you're sure this looks good? Are you sure? And Larry
- 10:09Speaker 1: Davids trust me, it looks great, looks great, looks phenomenal,
- 10:12Speaker 1: just where that you'll be finding. So and the press
- 10:15Speaker 1: made it into a scandal. One of the reasons I
- 10:17Speaker 1: think they made it into a scandal. They like to
- 10:19Speaker 1: say they go after Obama now and then, but they
- 10:21Speaker 1: ignored all the real scandals. There were some serious Obama scandals.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Remember when he had the IRS target political groups that
- 10:29Speaker 1: he didn't like. The IRS targeted conservative organizations, all the
- 10:33Speaker 1: Tea Party groups. Remember the Associated Press phone records seizure.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Obama's Justice Department obtained all the telephone records of reporters
- 10:43Speaker 1: and editors at the AP they didn't like. There were
- 10:46Speaker 1: a lot of Obama scandals. Got Benghazi, the VA. Remember
- 10:51Speaker 1: the waytime was like through the rum as many hours
- 10:53Speaker 1: at the VA. Remember the bo Burgdal prisoners swap. There
- 10:57Speaker 1: were a lot of scandals back then. They just didn't
- 11:00Speaker 1: want to it, just didn't want to cover them. Hey
- 11:02Speaker 1: remember John Goodman from Roseanne, of course played a Roseanne's husband,
- 11:06Speaker 1: John Goodman. You know he got a little thinner through
- 11:09Speaker 1: the years. Well, now nobody recognizes him. Nobody knows who
- 11:13Speaker 1: he is. He's now lost two hundred pounds. He is skinny.
- 11:19Speaker 1: He's a skinny guy. I'm sure it's healthy and he
- 11:22Speaker 1: looks okay, but you don't know it's him. So it's
- 11:25Speaker 1: a problem now because when people pose for the selfie
- 11:28Speaker 1: with him. You know, anybody sees the celebrity, they want
- 11:30Speaker 1: a selfie. They want to pose it, post it, but
- 11:33Speaker 1: it doesn't look like John Goodman. It's kind of a
- 11:35Speaker 1: useless selfie now. But he's seventy four, he said it.
- 11:38Speaker 1: There's worst. At the worst, he was four hundred pounds,
- 11:41Speaker 1: but he said he cut out sugar, hired a personal trainer,
- 11:45Speaker 1: adopted a Mediterranean style diet. Now there's no weight. There's
- 11:49Speaker 1: no way you'll lose that much weight with your Mediterranean
- 11:53Speaker 1: style diet. You know it's not as I'm sure there's
- 11:56Speaker 1: some zep bound or o zempic or something involved. But yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: oh that stuff is so big right now. Sales are
- 12:03Speaker 1: through the roof. They're beyond anything anybody imagine and growing
- 12:08Speaker 1: like crazy. Hey, speaking of that. Mayor Adams Eric Adams
- 12:13Speaker 1: guy was always an incredible shape, but he did a
- 12:18Speaker 1: posting this week where he posed with a shirt off
- 12:21Speaker 1: so you can see all the muscles and everything, holding
- 12:24Speaker 1: a big cucumber in his hand. But uh, the way
- 12:29Speaker 1: he's holding that cucumber, it doesn't look right. Something looks wrong.
- 12:32Speaker 1: He's holding a bell pepper in the other's hand, posing
- 12:35Speaker 1: with his shirt off on X boasting about how he
- 12:40Speaker 1: had diabetes that nearly cost me. It cost him his eyesight,
- 12:43Speaker 1: he changed his diet, his lifestyle. Okay, if it's gonna
- 12:47Speaker 1: if it's gonna inspire people, and that's good. Todd Shapiro,
- 12:51Speaker 1: good press agent Todd Shapiro, friend of mine, a spokesman
- 12:54Speaker 1: for Adams, said, when a former mayor takes his shirt
- 12:57Speaker 1: off and poses for a photo, of course it's going
- 12:58Speaker 1: to become a story. This is New York. But behind
- 13:01Speaker 1: the laps and photos, it's actually a serious story about health.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And Okay, Hey, Todd Shapiro lost a lot of he
- 13:08Speaker 1: was heavier, lost a lot of weight. I'm trying to
- 13:11Speaker 1: think any other mayor posing shirtless. No, I don't think
- 13:14Speaker 1: we'd want to see that deplasia. No, I don't want
- 13:18Speaker 1: to see that. Mom, Donnie might look. You know, he's
- 13:23Speaker 1: in good shape. Bloomberg shirtless? No no, No, who's bef
- 13:29Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani definitely not. No, you don't want to see
- 13:32Speaker 1: that Dinkins. Dinkins was in pretty good shape. But Ed Kotch, Now,
- 13:37Speaker 1: nobody wants to see any mayor shirtless or in a
- 13:40Speaker 1: bathing suit. Hey, remember Bloomberg got to do that stunt
- 13:42Speaker 1: where he goes swimming with people. Remember, even he wore
- 13:45Speaker 1: a shirt, a T shirt with his bathing suit even
- 13:47Speaker 1: in the swimming pool. You know that CBS News anchor
- 13:54Speaker 1: David Muir, ABC Nightly News, that's the biggest one, they
- 13:57Speaker 1: highest rated. And then they got rid of Lester Holt,
- 13:59Speaker 1: who's the on ABC, Tom Yamas or whoever. He kind
- 14:02Speaker 1: of looks like David Muir. So all three network anchors
- 14:05Speaker 1: look exactly the same. CBS has Tony Dough koopoo poll.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I don't know what the hella's name is. You know,
- 14:14Speaker 1: the problem is the CBS Evening News used to be
- 14:17Speaker 1: Walter Cronkite, most famous newsman in the world. Then it
- 14:21Speaker 1: was Dan Rather, not as good, but he became the
- 14:23Speaker 1: most famous anchorman in the world. Then it was Bob Schieffer.
- 14:29Speaker 1: We knew who he was, and he was a very
- 14:30Speaker 1: fine newsman, very fine guy too, but not too exciting.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Then who did they go, Oh, it is Katie Couric. Yeah,
- 14:38Speaker 1: famous but didn't work, and nobody bought her as an anchor,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and then it was a series of people. Do you
- 14:43Speaker 1: remember the anchors? After that? It was for the first
- 14:46Speaker 1: time in history they had anchors of the CBS Nightly
- 14:49Speaker 1: News and nobody knew their name. Nobody. You could put
- 14:52Speaker 1: them on a police lineup. Nobody could tell you who
- 14:55Speaker 1: they were. They were just to I mean, they would
- 14:58Speaker 1: have been good bank robbers. Nobody could remember them. The
- 15:00Speaker 1: witnesses couldn't describe it. Anybody who I can't even remember
- 15:03Speaker 1: their names. There was a bunch of them. Then it
- 15:06Speaker 1: was Norah O'Donnell, who was as bland as can be.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Now they got this guy Tony, and nobody knows his name.
- 15:12Speaker 1: But it's okay too because even if you know it,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell this name is. Tony
- 15:15Speaker 1: the culp, whatever his name is, looks good. I don't know.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I mean, he's not bad doing the news. But he
- 15:21Speaker 1: took a couple weeks off and he was replaced by
- 15:25Speaker 1: Matt Gutman, fill in, just a fill in guy. But
- 15:28Speaker 1: the ratings went way up under Matt Gutman. Yeah, the
- 15:32Speaker 1: ratings went well over four million, which is unusual for them.
- 15:35Speaker 1: So it's not good for Tony, whatever the hell his
- 15:38Speaker 1: name is. There Matt Gutman fills in ratings way up. Hey,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:45Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Call me. Now,
- 15:48Speaker 1: let's get some new callers too if you never called
- 15:50Speaker 1: us before. The number is eight hundred three to two
- 15:53Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. This show is now nine am
- 15:57Speaker 1: till Now let's take some calls. Let's go to Nancy
- 16:01Speaker 1: Fresh Meadows. Nancy, how you doing fine?
- 16:03Speaker 5: Mark? I love this show and I have something interesting.
- 16:06Speaker 1: To tell you will be the judge of that.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Okay, let me tell you.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Okay.
- 16:11Speaker 5: I was either the end of May early June. I
- 16:13Speaker 5: was working along Horace Harding Boulevard from one location to
- 16:17Speaker 5: the other, and I crept into the back of the
- 16:20Speaker 5: CVS pharmacy. I walked with a kinge.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So far it's not too fascinating worth the interesting part, Okay.
- 16:28Speaker 5: I walked into the entrance of back of the CVS
- 16:31Speaker 5: pharmacy and I sat down where people get their prescription. Yes,
- 16:35Speaker 5: and I'm sitting there, and a gentleman walks in with
- 16:38Speaker 5: a yamaka. Now, my first language was Yiddish. My parents
- 16:43Speaker 5: spoke Russian to each other and Yiddish to me. And
- 16:45Speaker 5: I seek the man with a Yamaica. I said to him, sir,
- 16:49Speaker 5: do you speak Yiddish? He says, I was born in Israel.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Well, I know I'm going to be honest so far,
- 16:55Speaker 1: still not so fascinating. I mean, it's interesting you're trying
- 16:57Speaker 1: to hit on guys in the drug store.
- 16:58Speaker 5: But okay, no, no, he was probably early fifties sixties.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So what are you doing hitting on this guy?
- 17:03Speaker 5: Okay, he's wearing a yamaka. So he said, he doesn't speak.
- 17:08Speaker 1: We got that guy.
- 17:08Speaker 5: I said to him, are you going to vote from
- 17:11Speaker 5: mister Blakeman? Huh? And he said, who is mister Blakeman?
- 17:16Speaker 5: I said, Donald Trump loves him. He says, I voted
- 17:20Speaker 5: for Donald Trump. So I said, now, where is.
- 17:22Speaker 1: This CVS located?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Uh, it's right over one hundred and eighty eighth Street
- 17:28Speaker 5: and the expressway where Fresh Meadows isn't that long island
- 17:33Speaker 5: it's Queen's Oh but it's right on the border. Well anyway,
- 17:37Speaker 5: but I see, I listened to your show, and I
- 17:40Speaker 5: listened to the yell station next to you.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Really you got a radio. Now look at this.
- 17:44Speaker 5: Yes, I'm ninety two.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I don't do much right in that target demo, just.
- 17:50Speaker 5: So I'm not. I'm I'm very happy. I'm above the earth,
- 17:54Speaker 5: resident in the earth. Anyway, so he says, he does.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Well, we do it off. Time for the whole story.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's only a three hour show anyway. Thanks for Nancy.
- 18:02Speaker 5: No, no, no, we can't.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You know, we call tomorrow. We'll finish it tomorrow. It's
- 18:06Speaker 1: too long, this story. But Blake, stop hitting. Stop hitting
- 18:12Speaker 1: on guys in the drug store. I mean open going
- 18:15Speaker 1: to bumble of one of those things. Anyway, Thanks for calling.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Let's go, let's go to another Nancy. Nancy in redback. Nancy,
- 18:21Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 18:23Speaker 5: Hi, Mark, congrats on the nine o'clock hour.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 18:26Speaker 5: I wanted to remind you of a time.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You got up even earlier at seven am on Saturday.
- 18:33Speaker 6: There was Warner Wolves and you.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Told rat pack stories and you two were hilarious.
- 18:40Speaker 1: We used to do the rat pack moment or whatever. Yeah,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I used to do it. It was great now that
- 18:46Speaker 1: you mentioned. For many, many years I did a Saturday
- 18:48Speaker 1: morning show six to ten Crash were You're the engineer
- 18:52Speaker 1: on that. No, sometimes crashes, so look at that. Nothing changes.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Crash is still the engineer here today. Actually, Crasher rich
- 19:00Speaker 1: Samenta rich Cimento is now Mark Levin's producer. Well, you
- 19:05Speaker 1: got me up at seven am every Saturday, and that
- 19:07Speaker 1: is somebody had to, but that's true. Thanks for reminding me.
- 19:13Speaker 1: You know, I used to fill in for Imus like
- 19:15Speaker 1: ten weeks a year, so that was six am to
- 19:19Speaker 1: ten Yeah, okay, so I've done it before. Oh one year.
- 19:22Speaker 1: He would always take August off, so I would do
- 19:24Speaker 1: it for four It was using me and Warnerwolf. We'd
- 19:27Speaker 1: do it for four weeks, and unfortunately his brother died
- 19:30Speaker 1: during that time, so he took another four week. So
- 19:32Speaker 1: it was like eight weeks in a row, six to
- 19:34Speaker 1: ten am, getting up at five in the morning. But
- 19:38Speaker 1: I did it. I can get through this. Let's go
- 19:40Speaker 1: to Stuart in South Carolina.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Stuart, how you doing, Hey, Mark car are you you
- 19:45Speaker 4: know talking about the posse cancer with Biden. I never
- 19:48Speaker 4: bought that. I said, something's really wrong here.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You know.
- 19:51Speaker 4: I was seventy one years old when I was diagnosed
- 19:54Speaker 4: with prostate cancer and they do the test. The only
- 19:58Speaker 4: thing the doctor told me, he said, if you're eight,
- 20:00Speaker 4: we would tell you don't do radiation or anything else.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Don't even bother. But they are doing the test, and
- 20:06Speaker 4: I don't understand how. Yeah, I hate to say that
- 20:09Speaker 4: the President of the United States is not checked for
- 20:12Speaker 4: prosten No. I mean that is one of the most
- 20:14Speaker 4: normal things.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'm sure he is, Stuart good point.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Yeah, this is a lie here, and we did get
- 20:19Speaker 3: annual physicals, but they followed the guidelines of the American
- 20:25Speaker 3: Neurology Association and which says that men don't get prostate
- 20:29Speaker 3: screening after the age of seventy.
- 20:32Speaker 5: So I'm fortunate.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I guarantee you any good doctor is doing a
- 20:35Speaker 1: prostate screening on somebody over seventy and he's going to
- 20:38Speaker 1: White House doctor's white House physical nothing's more thorough. So
- 20:42Speaker 1: I don't believe her. Something else happened there. Let's go
- 20:45Speaker 1: to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mark. I couldn't agree
- 20:49Speaker 7: with Stuart law. And this is for all men who
- 20:53Speaker 7: over sixty. Mark. I'm in my mid seventies and every
- 20:57Speaker 7: three months I get a physical and my last physic
- 21:00Speaker 7: to doctor flagged me. He says, your prostrate value. Prostrate
- 21:04Speaker 7: value is over the limit, he said. He said, we're
- 21:08Speaker 7: going to put you on some meds. And he said,
- 21:10Speaker 7: in September next month, I have to go for another
- 21:13Speaker 7: PSA And he said, if it's over the top, over
- 21:16Speaker 7: the limit, you have to go for a special MRI
- 21:21Speaker 7: that tests to see if you have it. That is
- 21:24Speaker 7: that what whoever was saying that they don't give screenings
- 21:27Speaker 7: after a certain age. That's boloney, especially if you have
- 21:31Speaker 7: it in your family. Somebody died and your family from it.
- 21:35Speaker 7: If anything, if your insurance company's going to be cheap,
- 21:39Speaker 7: you pay for it. Like before I used to. I
- 21:42Speaker 7: couldn't get insurance at one time. I used to pay
- 21:45Speaker 7: for it all on my own. And I was telling Chris,
- 21:50Speaker 7: I have a friend, had a friend, a very very
- 21:53Speaker 7: famous Brazilian jazz musician. I'm not gonna mention his name
- 21:57Speaker 7: out of respect for his family. He got when he
- 22:00Speaker 7: was seventy years old, and by the time he was
- 22:03Speaker 7: seventy three, he passed away.
- 22:06Speaker 1: That's terrible, Vincent. We gotta go, we go, Vincent. We
- 22:09Speaker 1: got to go do the news.
- 22:10Speaker 7: But you probably had long before that.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Good luck, So good Vincent. We gotta go do the news.
- 22:17Speaker 1: There's a certain time limit on when we got to
- 22:19Speaker 1: hit it. But h Vincent, good luck. In September, we'll
- 22:23Speaker 1: be uh, we'll be praying for you. Hey, when we
- 22:25Speaker 1: come back, Bruce Blakeman will be with us. Next is
- 22:28Speaker 1: getting Bruce Blakeman elected governor of New York. That could
- 22:31Speaker 1: start to turn things around and really make a difference.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Now you can help by going to blakemanfronew york dot com.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Make sure you donate volunteer. Go to blakemanfronew York dot com.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman running against Kathy Hokele and he's with us now.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, how you doing.
- 22:49Speaker 6: I'm doing great. Mark. It's always an honor to be
- 22:51Speaker 6: on with you. You're one of the most beloved people in
- 22:54Speaker 6: all of New York.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh look who's talking. Well, everybody loves you in Long Island. Uh,
- 22:59Speaker 1: your job county executive. That's pretty much being a governor,
- 23:01Speaker 1: isn't it. So you're gonna have come with a lot
- 23:03Speaker 1: of experience.
- 23:05Speaker 6: Yeah, you're chief executive, as county executive of a county
- 23:10Speaker 6: that's larger than eight states and population and it's a
- 23:14Speaker 6: very diverse community. We got people from every race, religion,
- 23:18Speaker 6: as in the group, people of all abilities and lifestyles.
- 23:21Speaker 6: And in my county. I want to do. I want
- 23:24Speaker 6: to do for the state what I've done in my county,
- 23:26Speaker 6: and that's basically make people happy again.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah, when people say, oh, you can't Republican can't win
- 23:32Speaker 1: in New York State, they said that about you in NASA.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Isn't the makeup of Nasa County pretty similar to New
- 23:37Speaker 1: York State.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Our demographics are virtually identical, so it's not like we're
- 23:44Speaker 6: comparing apples to oranges. I have won in a county
- 23:48Speaker 6: with one hundred and ten thousand more Democrats in a landslide,
- 23:52Speaker 6: because again I said I wouldn't raise taxes. I didn't
- 23:56Speaker 6: raise them a penny. As a matter of fact, I
- 23:57Speaker 6: caught them by one hundred and fifty million dollars. I
- 23:59Speaker 6: said I'd make safer communities, our community, our county is
- 24:04Speaker 6: the safest county in America according to the US News
- 24:06Speaker 6: and World Report. I said that I would make for
- 24:09Speaker 6: economic development, better jobs, higher pay, and better lifestyle. And
- 24:14Speaker 6: Niche magazine just named us the most desirable place to
- 24:18Speaker 6: live in all of New York State. So I want
- 24:20Speaker 6: to do for New York State what I've already done
- 24:22Speaker 6: for my county, which is a very large county, and
- 24:26Speaker 6: something that Kathy Hoko hasn't done. And as a matter
- 24:28Speaker 6: of fact, every place I go mark in New York State,
- 24:31Speaker 6: people tell me how miserable they are under Kathy Hockel,
- 24:34Speaker 6: where the most overtaxed state. Our electric bills are seventy
- 24:37Speaker 6: percent higher than the national average. And she's the most
- 24:40Speaker 6: pro criminal governor in the United States. She's the worst
- 24:43Speaker 6: governor in the United States.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, those are electric bills. A first, Cuomo shuts nuclear
- 24:48Speaker 1: energy down Indian Point, that's twenty five percent of electricity.
- 24:51Speaker 1: She bans fracking. Aren't they the ones, the Democrats that
- 24:54Speaker 1: drove those electric bills up to five a month?
- 24:59Speaker 6: Well, you're absolutely. We're sitting on one of the largest
- 25:01Speaker 6: natural gas reserves in the world, and we don't extract
- 25:05Speaker 6: that natural gas. In fact, Kathy Hope buys it from Pennsylvania.
- 25:10Speaker 6: So we don't get the tax revenue, we don't get
- 25:12Speaker 6: the jobs, we don't get the economic activity. So if
- 25:15Speaker 6: we were extracting that natural gas, we bring our supply down.
- 25:19Speaker 6: And she's investing in a scam it's called the green
- 25:21Speaker 6: energy scam, where she's putting solar farms up in places
- 25:26Speaker 6: in upstate New York that are under snow five months
- 25:28Speaker 6: out of the year, or we're carbines in the middle
- 25:31Speaker 6: of the ocean. How ridiculous is that it's probably the
- 25:34Speaker 6: most expensive place to build something. She wants to put
- 25:37Speaker 6: sixty story wind turbines in the ocean. It's bad for
- 25:41Speaker 6: marine life, it's bad for commercial and recreational fishing, and
- 25:45Speaker 6: it produces very little energy and it's very costly. But
- 25:48Speaker 6: she's giving billions of dollars of contracts away, and she's
- 25:51Speaker 6: getting millions of dollars from the very same people in
- 25:54Speaker 6: political contributions. That stops. When I become governor. I will
- 25:58Speaker 6: cut electric bills in half.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, they did all that in Europe with the
- 26:02Speaker 1: windmills and the solo and then after about five years
- 26:04Speaker 1: they had to take it all down because it didn't
- 26:06Speaker 1: produce much energy. But well, the one thing about giving
- 26:10Speaker 1: away those contracts. She has put together a pretty amazing
- 26:13Speaker 1: war chest, doesn't she have like thirty five million to
- 26:16Speaker 1: spend against you?
- 26:18Speaker 6: Yeah? But you know what, it's not going to materially
- 26:22Speaker 6: change this race because again every day Mark Democrats walk
- 26:28Speaker 6: up to me and they say, I've never voted Democrat.
- 26:31Speaker 6: I mean, I've never voted Republican in my life. I'm
- 26:34Speaker 6: going to vote for you this year because my party's
- 26:36Speaker 6: gotten crazy. They're insane, they're nuts. You got Zoron Mundamie
- 26:40Speaker 6: and Kathy Hokel. The place is in a death spiral.
- 26:45Speaker 6: Our economics are last in the United States of America.
- 26:49Speaker 6: We're fifty out of fifty states in economic outlook. We're
- 26:52Speaker 6: paying too much in taxes, we're not creating jobs in prosperity.
- 26:56Speaker 6: And we have a governor that she protects criminals community.
- 27:00Speaker 6: So I don't care how much money she has. The
- 27:04Speaker 6: people are on our side. We're raising money too. And
- 27:06Speaker 6: if anybody out there wants to contribute to my campaign
- 27:10Speaker 6: or get them on sign or volunteer, go to Blakemanfromnew
- 27:14Speaker 6: York dot com.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Yeah, very important to donate to Go to Blakeman for
- 27:18Speaker 1: New York dot Com. Now, people must say to you
- 27:22Speaker 1: all the time, because I've heard people say this. You know,
- 27:25Speaker 1: everybody's an expert to come to you, Well, you know
- 27:27Speaker 1: what you should do, you know what you got to do?
- 27:28Speaker 1: They see. But one thing I hear, he's got to
- 27:31Speaker 1: up the social media game. He's got to get that
- 27:33Speaker 1: guy that Spencer Pratt had in LA. You must be
- 27:35Speaker 1: hearing that too.
- 27:37Speaker 6: Yeah. So here's the thing. We are now in the
- 27:41Speaker 6: top five of every campaign in America. Thank you, yes, Mark.
- 27:46Speaker 6: How many views that I had on my social media
- 27:50Speaker 6: in the month of June.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Well, I'm just looking at I don't know how many.
- 27:56Speaker 6: Fifty seven million.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Oh, that's pretty good.
- 27:59Speaker 6: So we are rocking and rolling. People were right when
- 28:02Speaker 6: they said that four months ago because we were ramping up.
- 28:05Speaker 6: But right now we're at the top and we're going
- 28:08Speaker 6: to continue to be at the top. We're putting out
- 28:09Speaker 6: content every day, my content AI. We're using AI because
- 28:15Speaker 6: it's very funny. You like to use satire in comedy
- 28:17Speaker 6: to drive a point home. And people are following our
- 28:22Speaker 6: social media religiously now.
- 28:24Speaker 1: So Bruce Blakeman is running for governor. He's the Republican.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Everybody vote for him. You should vote for and you
- 28:29Speaker 1: can donate to go to Blakemanfromnew York dot com. How much?
- 28:33Speaker 1: What kind of factor is Mamdannie going to be? Can
- 28:35Speaker 1: he help Hochel or hurt Hokeel?
- 28:38Speaker 6: Well, apparently she thinks that Mandami is helping her because
- 28:43Speaker 6: she's lockstep with him. I call her comrade Kathy. Now, look,
- 28:47Speaker 6: Zammra Mandami. My biggest problem with him is he hates America.
- 28:52Speaker 6: And now Kathy Hokeel has aligned herself with a hate
- 28:56Speaker 6: America movement in her party. This isn't the Party of
- 29:00Speaker 6: Mario Cuomo. This isn't the party of you, Carrie and
- 29:04Speaker 6: Daniel Patrick moynihan, or even Bill Clinton for this matter.
- 29:08Speaker 6: This is a party that's gone so far off the
- 29:10Speaker 6: deep bend. They're anti Semitic, they're anti Christian, and they're
- 29:14Speaker 6: anti American, and they're anti capitalists. So they need to
- 29:18Speaker 6: be stopped. And Kathy Hochel is right in lockstep with
- 29:22Speaker 6: everything that Zillman Mundami wants to do. We've got to
- 29:25Speaker 6: stop him and we've got to stop her.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's tough for a Republican in New York City.
- 29:31Speaker 1: But how if you want to win as governor, how
- 29:33Speaker 1: much of New York do you have to win New
- 29:35Speaker 1: York City?
- 29:36Speaker 6: Well, well, we're doing really well in New York City.
- 29:39Speaker 6: So the rule of thumb is for a Republican, in
- 29:42Speaker 6: order to be able to win, you got to get
- 29:44Speaker 6: thirty two percent of the city vote. Our last polling,
- 29:48Speaker 6: we were already up to thirty percent. Wow, So we
- 29:51Speaker 6: keep improving on that. We went from twenty three percent
- 29:54Speaker 6: to thirty percent. So my goal is to get over
- 29:57Speaker 6: thirty six percent, and over thirty six percent of the
- 30:02Speaker 6: vote in New York City will ensure that we win
- 30:06Speaker 6: so we are campaigning very hard. Been in the Bronx, Manhattan,
- 30:10Speaker 6: Queens Brooklyn, Staten Island. I've been in every neighborhood in
- 30:15Speaker 6: the city and we're talking to middle class voters. People
- 30:19Speaker 6: who are fed up with their taxes, people who are
- 30:21Speaker 6: fed up with their electric bill, people who are fed
- 30:23Speaker 6: up with crime. And we're getting a lot of Democrats.
- 30:26Speaker 6: And it's from every demographic. It could be African Americans,
- 30:29Speaker 6: Asian Americans, Hispanics, and Latinos. It doesn't matter what your
- 30:33Speaker 6: background is. People are fed up with the direction of
- 30:37Speaker 6: our state, which is in the death spiral. I'll be
- 30:40Speaker 6: the pilot that'll pull it out, and I'm fully sure
- 30:44Speaker 6: that people will elect me on November third because they
- 30:47Speaker 6: want this change desperately. They want better jobs, they want
- 30:52Speaker 6: economic activity. They want to be able to stay in
- 30:54Speaker 6: New York and afford to stay in New York. And
- 30:56Speaker 6: the way to do that is put more money in
- 30:58Speaker 6: people's pockets.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, and you should go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot Com.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, this is stuff is very powerful against Kathy Ogle.
- 31:06Speaker 1: But what about a debate? Has she agreed to any
- 31:09Speaker 1: kind of debate?
- 31:10Speaker 6: No, she's docking me. I don't think she wants to
- 31:13Speaker 6: debate me. Look, she's got a record that's straight SS
- 31:18Speaker 6: and when you compare that to my record of having
- 31:21Speaker 6: the safest county in America, cutting taxes, people being happy,
- 31:26Speaker 6: safe communities, she doesn't want to compare her record to mine,
- 31:30Speaker 6: so she's docking me. I've had seven invitations extended to
- 31:34Speaker 6: me to debate Kathy Hokel. I've accepted all seven of them.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Kathy Hockel hasn't accepted one of them. So Kathy Hokeel,
- 31:43Speaker 6: stop hiding. Come on out. If you think you've done
- 31:45Speaker 6: a good job as governor, then try to defend your record.
- 31:48Speaker 6: I'm very happy to debate you.
- 31:50Speaker 1: But in October, she's going to have to debate. Right,
- 31:52Speaker 1: There's never been an incombent governor refused to debate in
- 31:55Speaker 1: the campaign, right.
- 31:58Speaker 6: Not in my memory. But she doesn't have to. She
- 32:00Speaker 6: didn't take matching funds, and a requirement if you take
- 32:04Speaker 6: matching funds, as you have to debate. So it certainly
- 32:07Speaker 6: raised our eyebrows when she said I'm not going to
- 32:09Speaker 6: take matching funds, which means I ain't going to debate.
- 32:15Speaker 1: So yeah, she's got a ton of money, because, as
- 32:16Speaker 1: you say, she's been handing out contracts left and right
- 32:19Speaker 1: in exchange for huge donations, and a lot of top
- 32:22Speaker 1: business guys who love you and are going to vote
- 32:24Speaker 1: for you, but they give to her, and they're afraid,
- 32:26Speaker 1: some of them might be afraid to give to you.
- 32:27Speaker 1: They don't want to offend her. She's the sitting governor.
- 32:29Speaker 1: But that's crazy. So everybody else, help out, Go donate,
- 32:35Speaker 1: Go to Blakemanfnewyork dot com, Blakemanfromnewyork dot com. And you
- 32:39Speaker 1: are busy, right, You're running around the state. You're all
- 32:41Speaker 1: over the place campaigning.
- 32:43Speaker 6: So let me give you a snapshot of my last
- 32:47Speaker 6: thirty six hours. Yesterday, I was on Fox News on
- 32:51Speaker 6: Maria Bartiromo's show, and then I marched into Dominican Parade.
- 32:57Speaker 6: Then I caught a plane up to Buffalo. Then from Buffalo,
- 33:01Speaker 6: I drove to Saratoga. Now I'm driving downstate where I'm
- 33:07Speaker 6: doing media, and I have a fundraiser tonight, and I've
- 33:11Speaker 6: got meetings in my county office on county business. So
- 33:15Speaker 6: that's a little bit about my thirty six hours in
- 33:19Speaker 6: the last day. So we are working hard and I'm
- 33:23Speaker 6: working from seven o'clock in the morning till eleven o'clock
- 33:25Speaker 6: at night because I'm on a mission to save this
- 33:27Speaker 6: state and to save our country and our city, and
- 33:31Speaker 6: I'm not stopping until we win.
- 33:33Speaker 1: You know, they stretch my show from two hours to
- 33:35Speaker 1: three hours, and I'm ready to collapse. I can't take it.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I mean, after hearing what you do, weay this sounds
- 33:41Speaker 1: like nothing. You put it in perspective for us. Well, well,
- 33:45Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, good luck. We want you to win. Everybody
- 33:47Speaker 1: help out. I know you got ideas, suggest you know what.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Just go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com. Donate whatever you can volunteer.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Blakemanfroanewyork dot com, Blakeman for New York Times. All right, Bruce.
- 34:01Speaker 6: Blake thank you and God bless you and God bless America.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Good luck. We'll talk to you soon. Thanks for being
- 34:06Speaker 1: with us. Take care. Blakeman from New York dot com.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Help him out. Hochals raised some ridiculous amount of tens
- 34:14Speaker 1: of millions of dollars, so he needs your donations. Blakemanfromnew
- 34:18Speaker 1: York dot com. Hey, noon today, it's Buck and Clay.
- 34:22Speaker 1: They do a wonderful show every day twelve noon. Then
- 34:24Speaker 1: you got three o'clock. You got the most listened to
- 34:27Speaker 1: radio show in America. Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly, that's a
- 34:30Speaker 1: nice show at six o'clock. And then Jimmy Fayla every
- 34:35Speaker 1: night nine at midnight. Very funny. Now I'm here now
- 34:38Speaker 1: three hours every day, three hours every day, nine to noon,
- 34:42Speaker 1: and then from six to nine every day it's Curtis
- 34:45Speaker 1: Leiwa and Larry Menti here on seven to ten WR
- 34:50Speaker 1: nine am to noon. There's a guy suing a shake
- 34:54Speaker 1: Shack because you know, when you're you're buying something just
- 34:59Speaker 1: a you know, like Starbucks, you ask for a cup
- 35:01Speaker 1: of coffee, they hand it to you, you're supposed to
- 35:03Speaker 1: tip them. Are you going to any place Shakeshack? You order,
- 35:09Speaker 1: here's your order, You're supposed to tip them. Why would
- 35:11Speaker 1: you be tipping them? And in Shakeshack you now you
- 35:13Speaker 1: order with a kiosk and you type in what you
- 35:16Speaker 1: want and you hit the price, and then it asks
- 35:20Speaker 1: you who want to tip? And apparently this guy is claiming,
- 35:23Speaker 1: and he's got photo and screen grabs of it. If
- 35:27Speaker 1: you hit no tip, all of a sudden, it says
- 35:29Speaker 1: we have to update the price, and it increases the
- 35:31Speaker 1: price because you didn't tip. I can't imagine that'd be
- 35:34Speaker 1: an actual shakeshack policy. Maybe in that one place they
- 35:39Speaker 1: figured out how to do that with the software. But
- 35:43Speaker 1: we'll have to talk about this tomorrow. This whole idea
- 35:45Speaker 1: that you got to tip anywhere and everywhere, The whole
- 35:48Speaker 1: idea of the kiosk and ordering is you don't have
- 35:50Speaker 1: to deal with anybody. So who are you tipping the
- 35:54Speaker 1: person to put it in the bag. I think that's
- 35:56Speaker 1: their job. And anyway, we'll get into this tomorrow. We're
- 35:59Speaker 1: out of time, but hey, don't forget, it's nine am
- 36:01Speaker 1: to noon, nine am to noon. It's now three hours
- 36:06Speaker 1: every day. If you're a podcast listening, you get another
- 36:08Speaker 1: hour of podcasting. I'll see you tomorrow at nine, seven ten.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Woir
