- 7:24[SPEAKER_07]: The next two to three fiscal years, all programs and positions will need to be carefully analyzed.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_07]: tough decision lead be made.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_07]: The last two adopted budgets had tax increases of 79% that are unacceptable.

- 8:54[SPEAKER_15]: No wind, no rain.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_15]: no excuses for not voting, right?
- 9:00[SPEAKER_15]: Other than usual ones.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_15]: I don't feel good.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_15]: But you can't use the weather today.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_15]: It is gorgeous.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_15]: Here in the city, well, turn it on as actually a little on the light side, I would say.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_15]: We told you yesterday, there are about 400, just about 500 early votes, just shy of 500.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_15]: And then about 230 or so absentees.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_15]: uh... that means around eight hundred around seven hundred votes were cast before six eight on this morning and at eleven twenty this afternoon when i checked with the board of elections seven hundred fifty one people had voted today in person two hundred twenty two of those at chestnut street the busiest polling place so really uh... you're at a round probably by now a little over fifteen hundred people have voted
- 9:48[SPEAKER_15]: You'll get a little surge in the afternoon, but the hard press to get to 3,000.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_15]: My view on it is, if the turnout's under three, the primary results hold.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_15]: If it's over three, anybody's guess.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_15]: Because you got up, because then you've got a lot of voters in there.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_15]: You don't know what they're going to, you didn't vote in the primary.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_15]: You don't know where they're going to go.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_15]: You've got the Colin Burns, Bob Shore, or Lisa Regero voters.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, you don't know where they're going to go, but you can kind of guess, but the other one's who knows.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_15]: Um, but if it's under 3,000, I'd say the primary results hold, and if it's over, it's a little more, um, guess.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_15]: Down in New York City, they're voting a pretty what are called good numbers, but they expect about 2 million people to vote today, but that's only about one out of three people were 18 and older.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_15]: So it's like here in Jefferson County, it isn't a very good turnout.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_15]: uh... but more than normal so i guess you got to be glad of that uh... if we determine yet whether what are the difference between a fiscal abyss is in a fiscal abyss uh... i don't know either
- 11:02[SPEAKER_15]: Um, oh, another thing I want to remind you, if you're going to go vote today, and this is a kind of a something we urge, we respect the process.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_15]: If there's a contested race, certainly you should choose one out, whatever you feel is the best.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_15]: But if there are one of the many uncontested races in your town or county ledge, do a right-in vote for John Moore, just go to the bottom of the column, fill in the bubble of words, has right-in and then put John Moore, M-O-O-R-E, very easy to spill.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_15]: as our preferred right.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_15]: So do that.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_15]: We'll see if we can get them some votes around the county and maybe it'll even make the news.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_15]: Who knows?
- 11:39[SPEAKER_15]: Who knows?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_15]: Although they don't like to report on themselves.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_15]: Well, last night, city council also talked briefly about whether they want to in can new contract with the city manager.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_15]: They don't have one now.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_15]: I don't
- 12:02[SPEAKER_15]: But the big issue, the big reason these people want to contract is two-fold one, is it makes the position feel more important and also they want to severance arrangements, should things go south on them, and a severance arrangement actually provides drive security because if a council gets mad at a manager,
- 12:21[SPEAKER_15]: they may want to get rid of that person but if they got to pay six months pay the political pressure not to do that is considerable.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_15]: So that's why they want the severance deal.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_15]: Am I telling truth out of school?
- 12:33[SPEAKER_15]: I mean it's nothing wrong with that.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_15]: Cliff only told us about the meeting last night and he also blasted away at the city attorney called Turin competent and he gave this long
- 12:46[SPEAKER_15]: Speech-class guy, I call it his cross of gold speech for those in William, Jennings Bryant, they're just wide on and on and about how he's the great truth teller, he was even quoting the great actor Robert Redford and all sorts of things.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_15]: It was, and then the mayor said that was inappropriate.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, you know, I listened to it.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_15]: How many of us were listening?
- 13:09[SPEAKER_15]: 15 people in the room, maybe, and a similar number at home on watching.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_15]: there's there's something to be said for being pithy in life brief to the point and i don't know that speech last night if you watch the council meeting with something they did pass something about cannabis they go back and forth i think it's you know crafting public policy isn't easy to say well in the town of familiar they close their cannabis store ten o'clock and uh... well uh... close it at nine o'clock in the city and that will accomplish well absolutely nothing
- 13:47[SPEAKER_15]: Because you can go to any of the unlicensed ones and buy it before in the morning if you want.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, it's it's it's just crazy.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_15]: Um, they'll never be one of those opened in the city.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, let's see what else is going on.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, vice.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_15]: Former vice president, Big Cheney passed early this morning at age 84.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_15]: Mr. Cheney was vice president for eight years under George W. Bush.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_15]: through the whole 9-11 period, and so on, he was considered a, uh, kind of a hawk on many things, uh, some liked him, some didn't, but you didn't want to go hunting with him.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_15]: That could be dangerous, so anyway, condolences to the Cheney family and, um, you know, what about the, um, old bro, my, you don't speak ill of the dead.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_15]: Trump never heard that.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_15]: I bet you he'll be ripping away Adam later today.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, well, that's what's going on.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_15]: We're going to take a commercial break.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_15]: And then we'll be back with more in a moment.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_15]: You're listening to the hotline on A, I'm 1240.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_15]: And you people in Midtown get the elevator going downstairs and vote, okay?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_15]: All right, we'll talk to you a little bit later.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_15]: This is Chris Stigall.

- 21:19[SPEAKER_21]: I don't think they're going to.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_15]: OK.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_15]: All right, because that would provide the Democrats with like a bunch more seats to make up for the ones they lost in Texas, I guess.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_15]: All done.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_21]: And would eliminate every Republican seat in the state.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, except for the ones up in the sort of the middle and up.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_21]: They've got those districts so long around now.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_21]: It looks like a gram of a colon occupancy.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_21]: They literally eliminate every Republican seat if they do if this goes through.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, let's go to the commonwealth of Virginia Abigail Spanberger, the former CIA person.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_15]: Is she going to win the governor?
- 22:02[SPEAKER_21]: Unfortunately, I would say yes.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, here's checks all the boxes, but I don't know.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, I have my in the giving of all her, so I think they're just going to vote saying the government employees and around rich and they're going to be vote for their job.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, and of course there's that attorney general race there whether the Democrat said he wanted to put a couple bullets in his opponent's head and then in his words piss on his grave, but there's they might still vote for him, right?
- 22:53[SPEAKER_21]: Oh, you're wondering, are you under a coin of silence, because you're kind of a, no, I'm actually working on running a power plant.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, now you, so you sound good now now we got to go up to the Garden State, where Jack Chetherelli and Mikey Cheryl are running, she's a Congresswoman, and close race, isn't it?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_21]: Oh, yeah.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_21]: I think Chetherelli's going to pull it out.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_21]: It's going to be a speaker, but
- 23:22[SPEAKER_15]: uh... doesn't pull it out okay so that'll be interesting sure but you choose to play in games because they're using to have can't the reason about areas so and i think this is going to be in the 2020 read it with a lot of you know right well i've been trying out mail in ballot trump uh... cut the margin by ten points from twenty twenty twenty twenty four there so it is trending republican uh... now over across the Hudson in New York City
- 23:53[SPEAKER_21]: they're getting decent turnout by whatever standard you want to use uh... you think and we're almost going to win i think he can pull this out if uh... it's going to be very easy to be close it's it's like a double digit raise five points i i think he's closed the martian a couple points now that's because people are scared of mongdomy right
- 24:22[SPEAKER_21]: Right, and it all comes down to Staten Island, which is Loyally Republican.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_21]: And if Staten Island says, we can, you know, we can win loose or call or lose loose with Sua.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_15]: Right.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_21]: So I think, I think a lot of Republicans are going to cross over both for Cuomo just, you know, they're not going to vote for Cuomo.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_21]: They're going to vote against non-domy.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_15]: Well, we'll see what happens, right?
- 24:52[SPEAKER_21]: That guy's to find.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it's an interesting race, and doesn't get a lot of attention up here, but it really should, shouldn't it?
- 25:03[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, because all the stuff that he plans on delivering, they're going to end up having to soak us more to pay for all the stupid crap that New York City wants to do and considering
- 25:14[SPEAKER_21]: What is a 155 state at Sami people and 78 or 88 of them are from New York City and the same thing with the Senate like 40% of the Senate or New York City, they're just going to vote you vote to get the city more and more and more money for his stupid ideas.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, free buses.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_21]: The only way they're going to be able to accomplish it is the so-called rest of us.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_15]: OK, well, we'll find out what happens.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_15]: And, of course, moving closer to home, we've got the city council race in Watertown, which I think the primary results are going to hold, because I think the turnout will be light.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_15]: But you think otherwise.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_21]: I think Monica was still going to take her spot.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_21]: And then it's a toss up between Osborne and Alaska's
- 26:04[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, you don't you think there are brand slips.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, yeah, I didn't see him do anything.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_21]: He even can't pay him.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I guess he was.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, he said he was.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_15]: Um, but I don't know.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_15]: I think, um,
- 26:20[SPEAKER_15]: I'm looking at the people who voted for the losing candidate's last June, and I don't know as is that many of them that I would see going to Mr. Garibrand, you know, he'd have to expand on what he had, but on the other hand, the busiest voting district this morning was the one that he lives in, over at by Chestnut Street.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_15]: So he's got a lot of neighbor support, I'm sure.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_15]: And I think he has this I think he's got the establishment behind him.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_15]: I'm I'm sure he has the third floor supporting him even though they can't vote in the election They have influence and Right so I don't I don't know I don't count him out of it.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_15]: Velasca's I think we'll do better than he did in the primary But it's tough to go from fourth up, you know Right, but
- 27:05[SPEAKER_21]: I still think Alaska's in Osborne pick up a lot of the disaffected, regereo and only voters.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_21]: I don't think many people are going to write in cliff just for the sake of writing in cliff.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_21]: No, I don't write in, waste their vote.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_21]: So I'm thinking this is going to be, I think most of their voters are going to go for the bottom two candidates.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_15]: Well, this whole residency issue has come into the campaign, and I see from last night's meeting, they're trying to get a contract with the city manager approved before the first of the year, is that because they're afraid that Monaco and Velasquez might do what they promise they would do on residency?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_21]: because they're basically lame duck rate, but the good thing about it is if he's trying to renew his contract and that means he's not going to run for assembly, so that would be that that's a bonus of the rest of us who aren't part of the city.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, well that takes us to bigger things.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_15]: The election will be behind us tomorrow.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_15]: Congresswoman Stofotic has said that she'll make her decision slash announcement after I assume she wants to wait till the mom dummy stuff dies down a little but when does she announce next week?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_21]: Uh-huh.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_21]: Um, and well, if there was that little wrench just thrown in it just now with a
- 28:45[SPEAKER_21]: So I think she's going to wait for an open new cycle and we got to see how much press the chainy thing is going to get and we've got to have the dust out of all from these big elections.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_22]: Sure.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_21]: We're actually, we're actually for with the California thing because when she announced it, I mean, she's very media savvy, so she wants to dominate a new site, which right now.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_15]: Well, yeah, that's why she's scheduled for new book coming out comes out in April, which I'll put her on the book tour right in a prime period of time there.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_15]: As far, you know, she'll be on all on all the talk.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_15]: I saw, you know, Mrs. Obama was on the today show this morning being interviewed.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_15]: She's got to book out obviously other people.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_15]: So you write a book even if nobody reads it, but you get to go on all the talk shows.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_21]: Well, it's amazing when people are writing books now that everybody has catchy D.P.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_21]: Oh, hi.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_21]: You look at some of these people in there.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_21]: You go, when and how do they have time to write a block?
- 29:53[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_15]: It's just shifting back to City Hall for a second.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_15]: Right now you've got the sort of the, you've got Mayor Pierce, Dr. Kimball, and Ben Schoen are sort of a gang of three, if you will.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_15]: But well, do you think that could shift if would Sean go with maybe the newcomers?
- 30:09[SPEAKER_15]: And there's, I think, Dr. Kimball, it sounds to me.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_15]: He looks like somebody wants to run for mayor.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_15]: And I just wonder if there'd be a shift in allegiance.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_21]: Um, no, no.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_21]: Kimball is the city council, her gen of Danny Francis.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_21]: No, he's going to stick his failed ideology.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_21]: And also, because he has the PR in front of his name instead of MR, he thinks he's important.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_21]: He's going to be able to own voice, showing all the paces on if it's, if it's Mo, if it's Mo, Co and Garibrand, he'd probably side with Garibrand, if it's Monaco and the last does or something like that, then he might go the other way.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, so you think now at least to find out if she announces next week, that opens up a whole another two races.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_15]: One is the NY21 congressional thing.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_15]: And we think Scott Gray is going to run, so he would have to announce that.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_15]: And then you've got sticker mule.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_15]: And then you've got maybe Dan Stack, maybe that Josh Parker, the turning point guy, but you think there'll be a primary there.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_21]: There's a whole lot of political chess going on right now, um, stack is the Amy.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_21]: So if it's a can, if stack group A and stick or mu will jump in, then you're going to have probably been whole from up here or go for Shaxi.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_21]: and Josh Parker, but he's in can and will go for a near assembly seat for either or you think Josh Parker may go for assembly and because he's a younger guy and all of that and then you think that foresight guy from up in Lisbon you think he'll stay out of it.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_21]: If or site says he's not going to do it, then and hold on if or site thinks he can do it, because he's going to have it and it will run.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_15]: But now, say Lawrence County Republicans really want to get the seat, the flag, if you will, back in St. Lawrence County for that assembly district and take it out of water town.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_15]: So, so you don't think a Jefferson County candidate of any kind has a choice, a chance?
- 32:53[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know if anybody at the moment unless I don't think any of the county legislators would and if the manager stays out of it as some people say he will then I don't know
- 33:22[SPEAKER_21]: It all comes down to, you know, and it seems like I got any even day, one day, four o'clock wants it, then he's like, no, I just want to stay as sure of the legislature, and then it's I'm going to rerun for legislator, or I might retire.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, he's so wishy-washy on everything.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_21]: We really don't know, but somehow, for some way, if sticking gray and now,
- 33:49[SPEAKER_21]: then you're going to see back hall and shop for her in the mix for assembly and senate.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_21]: But right now, it is the old card that I'm wondering, give it all his misnivettes and press.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_21]: I'm one.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_15]: Well, somebody told me his ex-wife married an assemblyman from over that way.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_21]: not not in a simply and she married he was in a he would remember the assembly Betty little retired stack went up to senate and then this guy came in and took his assembly city his wife left him marry the guy this assembly seat wow that's something that's intrigue I'll tell you
- 34:34[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, that happens, you know, life isn't always fair.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_15]: Well, anyway, that's the, that's your take on things, and that's interesting, and we'll see what happens, okay?
- 34:45[SPEAKER_21]: Sounds good, good talk to you, Mayor.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_15]: Hi, thanks.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_15]: We're us.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_15]: Bye now.

- 39:33[SPEAKER_17]: Paid for by Velasquez for Watertown City Council.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_15]: The water was all there must be there doing some kind of work with the water means and stirred up the stuff because it was kind of, it's kind of, anyway, I want to thank the D.P.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_15]: W for they had an issue yesterday of drainage issue, not anything on my body or anything.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_15]: They were nice enough to come over right away along with Greg's drain service and didn't, I don't know, cleared itself up and it was kind of a weird thing.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_15]: But the response was good and I appreciate it and very, very helpful people over there at DPW.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_15]: So we appreciate that kind of service here and we like to point out good jobs well done.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_15]: We may pick at the elites, the upper people, but we like the people who work for a living.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_15]: Hello.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_15]: But after you're on the air.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_20]: Hey, Jeff, today's kind of like your birthday or like a Christmas for you.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_20]: This is not.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_15]: Well, I don't know about a Christmas, but.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_15]: It's.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_20]: You always get so excited on election day.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_15]: I just like to see people get out and participate, but I don't think too many will this year.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_20]: Did you vote?
- 41:00[SPEAKER_20]: I agree with you that I think the primary is going to hold those, you know, the top two.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_20]: uh... monocone gay rent i believe they're going to move on and become accounts of people you like mm-hmm so that's right and then down in the air city all man i think my dot me if it's the agenda and uh... i think that's going to be just got a text message there's a speed trap it main street and brownville so i don't know
- 41:35[SPEAKER_20]: when he's coming through Brownville, he doesn't get caught up through that.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_15]: Exactly, exactly.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_15]: I want the welder to get caught either.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_15]: So, apparently they're fixing a leak 30-inch main, and that's what stirred up all the stuff in the water.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_15]: So, there you go.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_15]: We don't mind.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, the little sediment in your diet croak is okay with me.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_20]: Talk to you about the uh, Scott Gray, Sticker Mule, thing if uh, if they are going to be running a full leaf, now it's going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going to be going
- 42:28[SPEAKER_20]: that president Trump is on top of and he's like loud and he's not afraid to talk about it.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_20]: Scott Gray isn't he never hear him really talk about much or he's talking about nuclear power nowadays that's his new issue but sure if that's a great issue I'm not trying to you know what if I'm looking at like what we're trying to do in New York state
- 42:59[SPEAKER_20]: It's going to be, we're going to New York is going to have a department of government efficiency.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_20]: You run through the government and the schools getting rid of all the school, bulls, bulls, bulls, stuff.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_20]: You know what I mean?
- 43:12[SPEAKER_20]: This is going to get rid of all that stuff, like this is major, and if that's the case, it seems like Constitino is more suited for the position because you don't really hear Mr. Gray coming and talking now about the world.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_20]: He's kind of like he'll hook show up to a pride flag raising.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_20]: He's done that over the years.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_15]: Who was nothing wrong with that?
- 43:35[SPEAKER_15]: I'm showing up at those.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_20]: I'm going to see that with Casino.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_15]: Maybe not.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_20]: But still, every day, almost, he's posted all these liberal people that are going to hit in the transgender stuff.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_15]: Mr. Casino, I like the guy.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_15]: He was writing a studio here, but he lives in Amsterdam and Scott Gray lives in Watertown or he will be living in Harrisville.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_20]: thing is, it's like you got to look at what these two are doing, what they've been up to, and it's like, I don't have any seems like these better suited to be going to DC than, and then great.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_20]: That's how I see it now, that's how I see it.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, well good enough, well thank you.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_15]: All right, bye.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_15]: already if you have an opinion on any of that please do and you have to tell nine o'clock tonight to go out and vote and we've got six locations here do you want me to read them off to you because you can go to any of the six doesn't matter where you live anymore this is the greatest invention since sliced bread you can go to the stone press peterian church on chestnut street that's where most people are voting today you can go to church of the Nazarene on Thompson Boulevard you might run into
- 44:52[SPEAKER_15]: You can go to Midtown Towers on the can of street.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_15]: You could go to St. Anthony's Church over on Arsenal Street, and you can go to Trinity Church at the corner of Stone and Nasherman, or you can go to Sacred Heart Church over on the north side, and everybody knows that's right behind the Church building.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_15]: So those are the six locations.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_15]: No matter where you live, you can go to any of the six.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_15]: And please do so, you know what I mean people who like living in town towers or living a 100 block of chestnut street and then don't vote, I got to wonder what's wrong with you.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_15]: Well somebody said take it right down Arsenal Street, the new coffee shop came prefabricated on a track with trailer up, is that okay with the planning board I don't know if they're
- 45:50[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm, I pointed out that somebody said there was a speed trap in groundville today.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, I don't want anybody to get a speeding ticket.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want you to speed by telling you there's a speed trap you'll slow it out.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_15]: So actually, I'm doing a lot, I'm supporting Ellie in it, I don't know.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_15]: No, I don't want you to speed no matter where you are.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_15]: Especially if there's a speed bump.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_15]: Boom.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_15]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_15]: If you'd like to give us a call, I'll be on the show up shows today.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_15]: Let's see.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_15]: And what do we got going on up at... Oh.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_15]: It was a call.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_15]: Good afternoon here on the air.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, I've worked over at Stone Street.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_21]: uh... is good to turn out for a high uh... they said the number to a rire up three hundred there wow they had two to two tables set up for uh... process and people in uh... have one thing i have to be able the balance was what but two feet long it's a big one yeah all of it it was even i've i've never seen about that long i mean it's really is what it was about eighteen inches twenty inches long
- 47:16[SPEAKER_21]: But anyway, a processing was smooth, there was a, you know, when the big crowds over that I asked what the numbers were and that one day we'll see that I'm over 2 to 50 right now.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_21]: And the other table said that a couple, give a thumbs up for some.
- 47:30[UNKNOWN]: So there's their movement long pretty good.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_21]: I think there's going to be a big turnout on me.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_24]: That's all.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_21]: Well, in that case, I did.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_21]: I could read less with most of what Finley was talking about, who's not a winner, who's a loser, why, why, why.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_21]: uh... i got totally different view on that i think uh... i think he missed a mark on almost ever or the new mention to him well he said spanned burgers gonna win i assume you agree with that now think he's going to win i think that uh... uh... i think he's year old and uh... new jersey uh... he's gonna win i view that as a toss-up of sorts at least toss-up i think that i think that uh...
- 48:14[SPEAKER_15]: She's very liberal, but she is quite fetching, so I don't know how I'd vote there.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_21]: No, did you watch a speech for us, Amber?
- 48:23[SPEAKER_15]: No, I didn't have a standing outstanding speech.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, and you're a big mom, you're a big mom, Dami's supporter, I know that.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, it was a really good, and all this stuff got my Dami, I don't know why, everybody so aggressively against him for the reasons that they're against him.
- 48:41[UNKNOWN]: I mean, you can be against somebody.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_15]: I'm not a dentist and personally, it's just that he's, uh, uh, I think he's an extremist.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_15]: I think he's an extremist.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_21]: I call it a communist.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_21]: If they call it a communist, that's a large side of the places.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_21]: The guy's not a communist.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_21]: Okay.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_21]: That's the easy word for the GOP's culture.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_21]: I call it the way a communist has come back.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_21]: There's something like this.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_21]: And that's it.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_21]: That name calling does get it.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_21]: And shut down.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_21]: There's a lot of views on this shut down.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_21]: All right.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_21]: If the Democrats hold because of the blame that is the worst statement.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_21]: I have heard of you shut down the blame the Democrats That's absolutely false yet for for so many reasons we can sit here all these and you go right down to this Okay, well listen Danny.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_15]: I got a run because I got to get a break in here, but I'm glad you're voted and we'll see what happens tonight Okay, thanks by now
- 49:41[SPEAKER_15]: All righty, let's see what's going on here.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_15]: Martin with Taylor Greene was on the view today when she's getting, you know, I like that.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_15]: I would like to see more people out of their silos.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_15]: I'd like to see Jasmine crack at on, on Godfell or something like that.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_15]: I get tired of this, you know, I mean, Fox has gotten to be like insufferable with all I talk about is,
- 50:10[SPEAKER_15]: all of that let's get some other people on there let you know be nice to him i can have i could have uh... anybody you want in this studio and i get along i'm not going to be mean to anybody nobody has ever walked out of the studio saying i was mean to him but after dinner on the air and you're uh... democrats are ready for everything i guess uh... for the day and i yeah
- 50:36[SPEAKER_18]: Well, I call about mayor of kudos to the part of parliament throughout the term is straight one of the inch trucks of teaching young children about part of saying great.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_18]: I think we should see more of that.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_18]: I appreciate that's a good job by the part of parliament.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_18]: I wish the police would do that also taught teach children about stranger danger and issues like that at that age.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_18]: Very good thing to do, I think.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_15]: I do too.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_15]: I'd like to see more of that.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_15]: I haven't seen a police officer sit in the chair next to me.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_18]: Why do they do make visits to the great schools here?
- 51:15[SPEAKER_15]: Just not to talk to you.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_18]: I think it's a good thing to do talk to the young people that age.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_18]: I think it's a good thing I appreciate part of the apartment for that.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_15]: I guess that's what I got to say, Mayor.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_15]: Where's your vote?
- 51:35[SPEAKER_15]: Was it boozy?
- 51:37[SPEAKER_18]: I went to early boarding at the county building.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, so you already... 10 minutes for anybody is urine and out and maybe 10 minutes it's almost.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_18]: But today I don't know it might be a little backed up a little bit because a lot of people, you're right about that.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_18]: A lot of people won't vote so much a day.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_15]: Well, and then, you know, you got people...
- 51:55[SPEAKER_15]: They'll have an excuse by the end of the day.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_15]: They can't use the weather today.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_15]: It's gorgeous.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_18]: No, that's a good day to vote.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_18]: A lot of people won't vote, I don't have a proper, uh, uh, I'm not a big fan of where we're rolling either to be honest with you, but I took a advantage of it, you know, well, that's nice.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_15]: It's a nice option for people, so, you know, yeah, but it doesn't take that long.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_18]: The poll will take you unless it may be 10 minutes, if you get there a certain time.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_18]: So I got into about, uh, half past one, there are a few days ago, and I was in an out question 10 minutes, I think.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_15]: There you go.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_15]: All right, well, thank you.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, man.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_15]: Bye now.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_15]: I remember voting in the old days when I was running for office a lot of times the channel seven and want to get pictures of your voting so I'd go right down there at six o'clock on the morning at midtown towers go behind the curtain pull those levers could we have the levers back again yeah you know that those were the good old days back when the voting machines had levers and the stock market was measured in fractions and
- 53:00[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know about this time, should I?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_15]: Anyway, I'll have to check on that Marjorie Taylor Green being on the view.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_15]: And again, I think that's a good thing.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_15]: I think we need more people willing to talk to other people.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_15]: And less of this, I'm in my silo, I'm staying there.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_15]: That's we never do that with a hotline here.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_15]: We're not in our own silo.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_15]: Anybody can come and sit in that chair next to me.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_15]: Well, one person, two people can't, but, you know, most anybody else will be back with more in a moment.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_17]: depend on the news and talk of authority, WATM-1240.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_07]: This is Pete Monaco and I am a candidate for Watertown City Council.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_07]: I have been on the campaign trail for the past number of weeks knocking on doors to meet the residents of the city and give them my vision and thoughts on the city going forward and to listen to their concerns.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_07]: I've hit the northeast south and west quadrant of the city.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_07]: I apologize they may not have been able to stop at every city house, but because I did not hit your particular street or residents, doesn't mean that your voice is any less important than the residents whose homes I was able to stop at and visit were the people.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_07]: I value everyone's opinions and thoughts.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_07]: The vault for Pete Monaco for Watertown City Council is the vault for fiscal responsibility and accountability.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_07]: Election Day is November 4th.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_07]: Please vote for me, Pete Monaco.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, paid for by Pete Monaco for City Council.

- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's time to put the last several years of dysfunction behind us and get back to business.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_04]: We have so many issues that need to be addressed sooner than later, whether it's the looming budget, shortfall, the expiration of the Hydrocontract, our aging infrastructure, crime or homelessness, these problems need to be met with seriousness and a sense of urgency.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_04]: If elected, I will do my part to promote public safety initiatives to combat crime, and senseless acts of vandalism, so our families could feel secure in their neighborhoods once again, and I will work tirelessly to advocate for the taxpayers who are already burdened with perpetual cost increases.

- 57:01[SPEAKER_04]: With almost a decade of public service combined with my education and public policy, I believe I have what it takes to confront our challenges and make the tough decisions.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_04]: I hope to earn your vote on November 4th, April by Doug Osborne for water tone.

- 57:24[SPEAKER_15]: The Penn out of the Indeed, I'm 1240.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_15]: We're here on the hotline with about three, two and a half minutes left.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_15]: To talk about whatever you want to talk about within the bounds of good taste, of course.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_15]: Well that's a call, but after you do it on the air.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_19]: I think I'mma tell you what you said about most of the general green showing up on the view.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_15]: Yes, go ahead.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_19]: I don't think it's a particularly good thing.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_19]: Because largely, Tara Green has joined the, or the quote, the quote, quote, quote, quote, quote.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_19]: I think she's going to come in there and bad about Trump.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_19]: and she's going to play into the views cards.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_15]: OK. Hey, listen, I want to ask you a sense you're on here.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_15]: What do you think of the prospect of mom Dammy is mayor of New York City?
- 58:24[SPEAKER_19]: Of course, I don't know.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_19]: If I was there, I would vote for Cuomo.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_19]: All of my nozzles are not the Cuomo, but it's going to be very tight.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_19]: They may be Cuomo will fill it out, you know, they will fill it through.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_15]: Well, a lot of Jewish voters by no means majority are voting for mom down either like 30 percent.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_19]: Well, there's a lot of stupid Jews.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_15]: What can I tell you?
- 58:51[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_15]: Thanks a lot.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_15]: All right.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_15]: And yes, the right to speak.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_15]: Of course.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_15]: Seven.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_15]: Well, what we're running out of time.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_15]: Hey, listen, the weather forecast is great for today.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_15]: Great.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_15]: And is it going to get even better?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_15]: Um, well, I don't know can get any base 51 right now.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_15]: We expect to hide today of 52.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_15]: Under sunny skies now tomorrow.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_15]: We get some rain high in the 52 range and then cooler towards the weekend and kind of rainy.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_15]: So we got this beautiful day squeezed into the schedule for election day and hopefully you'll be taking advantage of it.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_15]: And actually the skies are clear right through the line of clock and temperatures are chilly, but not
- 59:38[SPEAKER_15]: Objectionable so no matter who you are you can get out right?
- 59:42[SPEAKER_15]: I would hope so Well Glenn Curry.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_15]: I hope he votes today if he remembers to and he'll be here at five o'clock with the live at five show right here on this community broadcast through station We are a I'm 1240 WAT and we're in water town, New York the time on a clock and CBS news
