  That's right. We're on a Wednesday already. The first week of August is flying by.

  Weather's starting to get a little cooler at times, especially in the morning

  and a little bit toward the evening.

  Last night was a good night. It was a national night out all over our New York State area.

  And I was able to take my kids to see a firework display.
• 1:55
  First time for us as a family was really good time. You know,
• 1:58
  Noah, a little bit taken back by the fireworks, but hey, he pulled through and
• 2:02
  enjoyed the different colors and the different sounds that the fireworks had to offer.
• 2:08
  Today's episode is all about more of prayer. We continue to pray because every
• 2:13
  day should be a national day of prayer. It really should.
• 2:17
  And like I've always said, a day without prayer is a day without power.
• 2:21
  And it's been a while since we did a formal power of prayer episode.

  And I wanted to combine that with our series, Dear God.
• 2:31
  And I wanted to combine the two because quite honestly, we didn't have a huge
• 2:36
  response this week to air a dear God new letter.

  So it will still be a dear God because I'm going to do the prayer,

  but officially we're just asking for all of you to continue to send in your,
• 2:48
  your request for prayer that you want to read out loud.

  And when we don't have any or not enough, you know, to, to air an episode,

  that's when I want to make sure that I'm very honest with you and let you know

  that we're going to, you know, change the format just for today for this week and do a power of prayer.

  So with that being said, let's go into the power of prayer. And always remember

  every Wednesday, we do a dear God letter.

  And it's basically your prayers that you very short prayers.

  And that we, we announce over our episode on Wednesdays, we do not give out

  your name, we just read the prayer that you send into us.

  Heavenly Father, good morning and thank you so much for being there for us each and every day.

  Lord, we know that with you and through you, all things, everything is possible.

  Yesterday, being out and amongst kids and families and just watching people
• 3:54
  smile, having a good time.

  It was nice to be out and not having to worry about somebody trying to hurt

  you, somebody trying to steal that joy, somebody that's just trying to do everything
• 4:07
  in their power to make you feel like you don't belong.

  No, everybody got along.

  Everybody had a good time. And of course, the kids that did cry were only because
• 4:17
  they didn't want to go home.

  We thank you, Lord, for an evening of peace. Each and every day that we go to

  our daily routines, our work life,

  our family life, we must remember the joys that God gives us,
• 4:34
  the joys that we are presented to each and every one of us.

  This morning, we lift up in prayer you, the Have Faith, Let It Begin family.

  Not for only you having a better day today than maybe yesterday,

  Not only for you being so loyal and listening to our show each and every weekday,

  but praying for you because you are a part of this beautiful world and we all

  make up the body of Christ.

  We pray that the Lord bless you, that the Lord continues to heal you,

  to provide you with forgiveness.

  Understanding, and continues to give each and every one of us all the peace
• 5:18
  and happiness that we rightfully deserve.

  We ask this of you, Lord, in the name of the Father, the Son,

  and the Holy Spirit, as we say the words that your Son Jesus taught us.

  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

  Lead us not into temptation. and deliver us from evil.

  For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.
