  All right, so what if the reason that some people stay broke is not because

  God didn't give them anything, but because you buried what he already gave you?

  Sometimes we're out here like, God, give me God I need, but you You might be

  surprised to find the very vessel that you have is the vessel that can make you rich.

  It reminds me of when the guy came to the widow woman and she was broke and she was in debt.

  And he said, go borrow some vessels, not a few.
• 1:29
  She had some vessels and what she had in her house or what she went and got is what he filled up.

  So God won't bless buried potential.
• 1:38
  He blesses what you identify, surrender, multiply, and steward.

  So today I want to give you three money lessons from the Bible to make you rich.

  And we're not just talking about being greedy, but we're talking, well, you know what?

  You can be blessed beyond belief. I'm telling you, God can give you the desires
• 1:55
  of your heart and you can help other people.
• 1:57
  Wouldn't that be great? I think it would. Because being broke is not holy.

  Bearing your gift is not humility. And staying small when God gives you something
• 2:06
  to multiply isn't very spiritual.
• 2:08
  God gives you a gift, a skill, a voice, a talent, a business idea, or something.
• 2:14
  And he wants you to do something with him. So here we go. Money hack number one. Y'all ready?

  Identify your talent. God already put wealth potential in you.

  So the first money lesson is this. You cannot multiply what you refuse to recognize.

  In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the talents.
• 2:45
  A talent was a measure of money, but it's also powerful in today because it means a gift or ability.
• 2:53
  In Matthew 25, 14, it says the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to
• 2:57
  a country who called his own servants and delivered them his goods.
• 3:01
  And under one, he gave five talents to another two to another one.
• 3:05
  He gave each man according to his ability and straightaway took his journey.
• 3:11
  Notice that the master gave something to every servant.
• 3:15
  One got five, one got two, one got one, but nobody got nothing.
• 3:20
  So that means you've got something. You have something that God can use.
• 3:23
  You have something that God can multiply.
• 3:26
  One of the greatest lies that the devil tells you is that, you know,
• 3:31
  this one talent, because it doesn't look like somebody else's.
• 3:34
  Can I just tell you something?
• 3:35
  I was a professional singer for years, and I remember one time,
• 3:41
  and I'm from Vegas, and I remember one time I went to a Celine Dion concert,
• 3:45
  which if you know who she is. You know, she's a phenomenal singer.
• 3:48
  So as I'm watching Celine Dion just belt out, you know.
• 3:56
  You know, all that stuff. I literally
• 3:59
  never wanted to sing again because I thought, man, she sings so good.
• 4:07
  I can never sing like that. What's the point of even singing?
• 4:11
  And I felt the Lord real strong say, Lisa, if every voice on earth sounded like
• 4:17
  Celine Dion, that'd be pretty boring.
• 4:21
  And I thought, yeah, you know what? There's the shares, there's the this.
• 4:24
  So there's all these different voices and God likes it.
• 4:27
  So you don't have to have a talent that someone else has. You have to just have what you have.
• 4:33
  Comparing yourself to other people is bearing what God gave you.
• 4:38
  Somebody else might have a better voice or more money or bigger audience or
• 4:43
  whatever, but God's not asking you to do what somebody else did.
• 4:47
  He's asking you to do something with what you've been given.
• 4:51
  And I really think in my heart, sometimes you're robbed of your prosperity or
• 4:55
  me or whoever, because you're always looking at somebody else and their gift,
• 4:58
  and you've got something that only you have to offer.
• 5:01
  All right, Romans 12, 6. Having then gifts differing to the grace that was given
• 5:06
  us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy, proportion or ministry,
• 5:10
  let us wait on ministering, or he that teach on teaching.
• 5:15
  So the Bible says that we have gifts that are different, and that means that
• 5:19
  everybody is not gifted the same way, and that's okay.
• 5:21
  You and I have different things we're supposed to do, but we each can be prosperous
• 5:25
  and successful with what we have.
• 5:27
  Your gift is often a seed of increase. A man's gift makes room for him and brings
• 5:33
  them before great men, the Bible said. All right, money hack too.
• 5:36
  Don't bury it. So now you know you've got a unique gift. God gave you something
• 5:40
  that he didn't give me. Now what?
• 5:43
  All right. Well, use what you have right where you are. Buried talents won't multiply.
• 5:50
  Use whatever talent you have. Then he who received the five talents traded it
• 5:55
  and made five other talents.
• 5:58
  And likewise, whoever had two talents gained two more. Now, listen, don't be this person.

  But he that received one dug it in the earth and hid his Lord's money.
• 6:08
  So you notice it's not about the amount.
• 6:11
  It's about what you do with it. So if you've got an ability to sing,
• 6:16
  but you never sing in church and give that gift to the Lord,
• 6:19
  you're bearing your talent.
• 6:21
  If you've got an ability to write, but you never do anything with it,
• 6:24
  you're bearing your talent.
• 6:25
  Maybe you're great at cleaning. Maybe you're great at motivation.
• 6:29
  Maybe you're a great business person. Whatever talent you have,
• 6:32
  maybe you're a great mom.
• 6:33
  Whatever talent you have, use what you have. And then more.
• 6:38
  Sometimes people are like, man, if I just said more, I could do more.
• 6:41
  No, do something with what you have right now.
• 6:44
  The Bible says if you're faithful and little, you can rule much.
• 6:47
  So do something with what you have now.
• 6:50
  Amen. Lisa, preach that to yourself. Okay, I will. I'm preaching to myself today.

  So do something with what you got.

  When you do that, when you do that and you're not afraid, the guy that had one
• 7:03
  talent that buried it, you know what he said? I was afraid.

  Fear will cost you opportunities. Fear will cost you obedience.
• 7:11
  Fear will cost you your increase. Fear will cost relationships.
• 7:15
  It will cost you open doors.
• 7:17
  You know, sometimes people are like, man, I'm not ready to do that yet.
• 7:19
  And then you don't walk through the door.
• 7:22
  Or I'm afraid to do that. And you don't even try. What would happen if you pushed
• 7:26
  fear aside and you did it anyway?
• 7:28
  I mean, what's wrong with that? If you fail, you fail, but at least try something.
• 7:33
  Fear makes you look responsible, but you're actually being disobedient.
• 7:37
  Because that man was probably thinking, well, at least I didn't lose the money.
• 7:41
  But God didn't like that. He didn't like that the dude buried it in the ground.
• 7:45
  Okay? So don't. This isn't about striving in the flesh.
• 7:50
  If you sing, sing. If you write, write. If you like to cook,
• 7:54
  cook. If you teach, teach. If you decorate, decorate.
• 7:56
  Build, build. Organize. Whatever. Whatever your gift is, you know, do something.

  And you might be saying, but Lisa, I don't want to cook. I get it.
• 8:06
  I don't like cooking either.
• 8:08
  But that's okay because David, King David in the Bible, he didn't start on the king's throne.
• 8:14
  He started in a field all by himself for nobody knew who he was taking care of a few sheep.
• 8:20
  And God saw his heart that he was faithful over those few sheep.
• 8:24
  I'm telling you that the road to prosperity is paved with faithfulness and obedience.
• 8:30
  Do something with what you have and watch God multiply what you have.
• 8:34
  All right. Then the Lord said, what's in your hand? And he said, a rod. This was Moses.
• 8:40
  God didn't say to Moses, well, what do you wish you have? Can you imagine?
• 8:45
  Well, what do you wish you had, oh, Moses? No, he said, what's in your hand. And he said, a rod.
• 8:50
  So this is a word for someone. Don't say, I don't have enough.
• 8:53
  Don't say, I don't know what to do. What is in your hand? Do something with
• 8:57
  your skill, your testimony, your computer, your yard, your gift, your whatever.
• 9:02
  Do something with what you have.
• 9:05
  Faithfulness in little qualifies you for much. The Bible says in Luke 16,
• 9:10
  10, this should be our theme verse, y'all.
• 9:13
  He that's faithful in that which is little is faithful in much.
• 9:18
  God is saying, look, if you'll just be obedient in this tiny bit, I'll make you bigger.
• 9:24
  What do you do with the small opportunity? How do you handle the little platform?
• 9:28
  How do you handle the first customers, the little job?
• 9:32
  And we see that God says, if I can trust you with a little, I'll make you ruler over much.
• 9:35
  He didn't give these guys a lot. But when he came back, he said,
• 9:38
  well done, good and faithful servant.
• 9:40
  You've been faithful over a few things. I'll make you ruler over many things.
• 9:46
  Come on, say that out loud wherever you are. I am faithful in little.
• 9:50
  God will make me ruler over much.
• 9:53
  Notice he did not say that you're faithful and flashy and whatever.
• 9:58
  He said you're faithful.
• 10:00
  He didn't say he was perfect. He didn't say he was rich yet.
• 10:03
  He just said you're faithful.
• 10:05
  God promotes faithfulness, not fantasy.
• 10:09
  If you want to get promoted, my friend, well, guess what?
• 10:12
  If you want God to promote you, then you have to like, you got to be faithful
• 10:17
  in the little. All right. Money hack three.
• 10:20
  Some people don't like this, but I'm telling you, I did it. And I'll tell you
• 10:23
  a story of supernatural provision.
• 10:25
  Put God first in your money because heaven blesses what you surrender.
• 10:31
  Money multiplies best when God is first. This is where people get nervous, but the Bible is clear.
• 10:37
  God doesn't want to be last in your money.
• 10:40
  Proverbs 3, 9 through 19. Go look it up yourself. It's in there.
• 10:43
  It says, honor the Lord with your substance and the first fruits of your increase.
• 10:49
  So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will burst out with new wine.
• 10:54
  This is a money lesson. If you honor God with your money, honor the Lord,
• 10:59
  then what happens? Your barns will be filled with plenty.
• 11:02
  This isn't lack. It's not barely getting by. It's like massive.
• 11:06
  God doesn't mind you having money as long as the money doesn't own you.
• 11:12
  So, let me tell you a story. There was this guy, and he spent his whole life
• 11:16
  working his butt off, trying to make as much money as he could. And he did.
• 11:20
  And as a young man, like 50, he just dropped over dead.
• 11:25
  What about all the couples that bust their behinds their whole life to work
• 11:29
  and save and work and save, and I'm working and I'm saving, and they get old,
• 11:32
  and they're ready to go on vacation, and the wife gets sick with cancer.
• 11:36
  And their last years of their life were spent in and out of hospital rooms.
• 11:40
  You don't want that? Lisa, are you telling me if I give to God, I won't have that?
• 11:43
  I'm telling you, if you're faithful to God, he will protect everything that surrounds you.
• 11:49
  So for me, you know, I'm a tither, I'm a giver, and God multiplies my seeds on.
• 11:54
  And then I believe that when I get old, old, like when I'm 60 or 70 or 80,
• 12:00
  I believe that I'll get to have fun and I won't be sick.
• 12:04
  Because I put God first in everything I do. And the Bible says when you give,
• 12:08
  it'll be given back, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
• 12:12
  And the 10% of your income is really a test to see if God can trust you with
• 12:16
  the little bit that he gave you. And I'll tell you something else, a story.
• 12:20
  I really wanted to go to Africa my whole life. So if you're listening from Africa, I love your country.
• 12:25
  And there was just no way in the natural we could go. I mean,
• 12:27
  it's a kind of a pricey trip, you know, for the three of us.
• 12:30
  But I just really wanted to go. Man, I wanted to go.
• 12:34
  And all of a sudden, out of nowhere, an incident happened.
• 12:38
  And through that thing that happened, some money was given to us.
• 12:42
  And it was a decent amount of money, too.
• 12:44
  Had nothing to do with the church. Had nothing to do with ministry.
• 12:46
  And my husband didn't have to work for it.
• 12:49
  And because that money came, we were able to take a trip to Africa.
• 12:52
  It was one of the most beautiful trips I've ever taken to Tanzania,
• 12:55
  and we got to see all the animals and everything.
• 12:57
  So how did I get that? Well, I believe I got that because I'm a tither and I'm a giver.
• 13:02
  And God opened up the floodgates and he blessed me. A trip that I could not
• 13:05
  have afforded, God gave it to me. And he can do the same for you too.
• 13:09
  But the key is you have to give. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6.10,
• 13:13
  the love of money is the root of evil.
• 13:16
  So it's the love for money, not money. Money is a tool in your hands.
• 13:20
  But if you work and slave day and night for it, and you don't care about God—and
• 13:24
  to me, the tithe, 10% of your income, is a test. Do you love your money or do you love me?
• 13:32
  Believe me i'm not telling you this so you can give money to our broadcast you

  hopefully you have a local church you go to you should be tithing to your local
• 13:39
  church if you don't and of course if you want to sew into this ministry i welcome

  can build churches it can help with widows it can fund missions

  it can provide for your kids and can get you

  out of debt money can be a tool in the hands of

  the right person and god's not against you having money in deuteronomy 8 18
• 14:13
  i got good news for you people that say god doesn't want you to have money apparently
• 14:16
  they don't read the bible because in deuteronomy 8 18 it says you'll remember
• 14:20
  the lord your god he gives you power to get wealth that he may establish his
• 14:25
  covenant, which he swore to.
• 14:27
  So the reason that God wants you blessed is because he made a promise.
• 14:32
  He loves you. He wants you to do well. And he doesn't just want you to do well
• 14:36
  so you can give all your money away.
• 14:37
  He wants you to be able to give your money away and then have enough for yourself and your family too.
• 14:44
  The blessing of the Lord makes rich and there's no sorrow. Money is part of
• 14:48
  the covenant promise of God.
• 14:49
  Even though people go, oh, that prosperity gospel, I've got good news for you in Japan.
• 14:54
  God wants you wealthy. I've got good news, Saudi Arabia.
• 14:58
  God wants you wealthy. I've got good news, South Africa and Nigeria and Ukraine
• 15:03
  and Canada and every other Venezuela.
• 15:07
  If you're listening, God wants you prosperous. He loves you.

  He wants to bless you and prosper everything you do.
• 15:14
  So I hope that this helps you. I hope that you get this because you get power to get wealth.

  This means you get ideas for favor, strength, skill, opportunity, connections.

  Genesis said, I'll make you a great nation. I'll bless you and make your name great.

  It said that God will make all grace abound towards you, that you'll have all
• 15:35
  sufficiency in all things and may be able to abound to every good work.

  Kingdom wealth is not just about
• 15:41
  you being greedy. It's about your assignment. There's a lot you can do.

  So give God your talent, man. Give him your business. Give him your voice. Give him your platform.

  Give him your increase and watch what he can do. All right?

  we thought we should have had, but we gave anyway and God came through supernaturally.

  I know sometimes people don't believe this, but I'm telling you it works.

  If you will tithe to church, if you will give your money to God first place,

  He will multiply you. That's what it says in the Bible.

  Put God first, all right?

  Start that business, write that book, record that song, launch your own podcast,

  sell the product, offer the service, use your gift, serve somebody, be faithful.

  Come on, somebody listening to this, you've been sitting on your gift.

  What gift are you sitting on? Come on, you've been saying, when I have more

  money, I'll do it. When I have more confidence, when people support me.

  But you need to start right now. Don't wait.

  Come on, I believe in you. Start scared. Start small. Start humble.

  Start faithful and start with God. You can do it.

  Dig up your voice, your dream, your gift, your skill, your calling.

  Give it to God and say, God, I might not have a lot, but whatever I have,

  I give it to you. That's me. I'm like, God, I'm not the smartest.

  I'm not the brightest, but whatever I have, I give it to you.

  that you're going to begin to reveal what their gifts are, what they can do with it.

  They're not going to bury their gift. They will be prosperous.

  They will be blessed. They will be full of joy and happiness.

  They will do great things for your kingdom because you are with them.
