- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon Show on seven tenor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hey, we're gonna let you get to mayoral race. A
- 0:10Speaker 2: lot of developments. We'll get to the mayoral race in
- 0:12Speaker 2: a second. The President, Uh, well, we'll get to his
- 0:16Speaker 2: new ballroom. The Democrats that Trump derangement syndrome just never
- 0:20Speaker 2: stops their opposed to everything. The President also announcing he's
- 0:23Speaker 2: going to forgive student loans. Now you're probably saying, wait
- 0:28Speaker 2: a minute, that was Biden's big thing, for giving the
- 0:30Speaker 2: student loans. That was a big that was Biden's main
- 0:33Speaker 2: campaign thing, and why would Trump steal that. Watch he's
- 0:39Speaker 2: gonna forgive student loans. Watch the same Democrats now yell
- 0:43Speaker 2: and scream it's unconstitutional. They'll take them to court, they'll
- 0:46Speaker 2: try to block them. They'll tell him you can't do this,
- 0:49Speaker 2: it's unethical, it's unheard of. Well, the same exact thing.
- 0:52Speaker 2: That may be the reason he's doing it. So, uh,
- 0:55Speaker 2: we'll get to let's get right to the mayoral race. Now,
- 0:58Speaker 2: the debate is tomorrow night. This is the final debate
- 1:01Speaker 2: tomorrow night. This is the final chapter of the mayoral
- 1:05Speaker 2: race tomorrow night. Unfortunately it's on New York One, which
- 1:08Speaker 2: nobody sees, but it'll be online. Hopefully it will be
- 1:13Speaker 2: seen by a lot of people online, YouTube all that stuff.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Tomorrow is the final debate. Now here's an important thing
- 1:19Speaker 2: you should know. The whole narrative for the week is
- 1:24Speaker 2: that Curtis has to get out because if he gets out,
- 1:27Speaker 2: Cuomo and Mamdami are tied. Now, why would we think
- 1:30Speaker 2: such a crazy thing. Well, it's all based on this
- 1:33Speaker 2: poll that was released yesterday. This poll that came out
- 1:37Speaker 2: that said if it was just the two of them,
- 1:39Speaker 2: Cuomo and Mamdani, why they would be tied. Well, I
- 1:44Speaker 2: told you yesterday it was very suspicious of that poll.
- 1:46Speaker 2: You know, these public polls are cheap, little flimsy things.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But it turns out this one, it's basically done by
- 1:53Speaker 2: the Cuomo campaign. It's run by a lobbyists who are very, very,
- 1:59Speaker 2: very big Cuomo supporters. So don't try I'm hearing this
- 2:04Speaker 2: from all kinds of people. Do not trust that pole.
- 2:07Speaker 2: It is Cuomo, his buddies is lobbyists. They're the ones
- 2:10Speaker 2: that ran the pole. I wouldn't trust it for a second.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Curtis is under heavy, heavy pressure to get out, from
- 2:19Speaker 2: the President of the United States to anybody you can
- 2:21Speaker 2: imagine New York Post, huge editorial saying he must get
- 2:26Speaker 2: out of the race. New York Times, big editorial that
- 2:31Speaker 2: he must get out of the race. Now again, this
- 2:34Speaker 2: is all based on this poll from yesterday that why
- 2:37Speaker 2: if he was out of the race, it would be
- 2:39Speaker 2: a tie Cuomo Monday again, don't trust that pole. It's
- 2:42Speaker 2: basically put out by the Cuomo campaign. Don't trust that pole.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I wouldn't. I wouldn't trust it for a second. So,
- 2:53Speaker 2: just knowing Curtis, he will not get out of the race.
- 2:55Speaker 2: He's never quit ever, ever, ever. You could try to
- 2:58Speaker 2: pressure him out of the race. I mean everybody and
- 3:00Speaker 2: anybody is pressuring him, from the President to everybody he knows.
- 3:05Speaker 2: The other day I saw Curtis somewhere. I went tover
- 3:07Speaker 2: say I got to talk to you, and he said,
- 3:09Speaker 2: you're not gonna try to bribe me too. I said, no, no, no, no,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I just gotta talk to you about something. So everybody
- 3:15Speaker 2: is pressuring him. Now, you can't pressure Curtis to do anything.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And Curtis, I know the guy for a million years.
- 3:22Speaker 2: He'd never ever ever quits. He's not a quitter. He
- 3:25Speaker 2: always finishes what he started. He doesn't quit. Remember when
- 3:29Speaker 2: he was going after the mob. Just take this as
- 3:31Speaker 2: an example of how much this guy can stand up
- 3:34Speaker 2: to pressure. Remember million Years is back in the nineties.
- 3:37Speaker 2: He's going after the mob, and he's naming mobsters and
- 3:39Speaker 2: he's attacking him on there, and he was right, but
- 3:41Speaker 2: he's going after them. They decide to beat him to
- 3:45Speaker 2: a pulp. They send like four guys with baseball bats
- 3:48Speaker 2: who just beat him to a pulp. He's in the
- 3:50Speaker 2: hospital for a long time. Second he's out, he's right
- 3:54Speaker 2: back on the air attacking the same mob, the same mob.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Family is the same mob. It doesn't stop him. He
- 4:00Speaker 2: just kept going. Then they ambush him, try to assassinate him.
- 4:04Speaker 2: They get a taxi cab. They study his routine. They
- 4:07Speaker 2: know when he comes out to get in a cab,
- 4:09Speaker 2: and they bring their cab. They get him in the
- 4:11Speaker 2: back of this cab. They shoot him five times, and
- 4:15Speaker 2: he's like the Godfather in the movie five bullets and
- 4:18Speaker 2: he survives, gets shot five times and he survives. And
- 4:21Speaker 2: what does he do from his hospital? Betty starts attacking
- 4:24Speaker 2: the same mom the same guys. You can't pressure him,
- 4:28Speaker 2: nothing will pressure him. He does not back down. So
- 4:32Speaker 2: stop trying to get him out of the race. If
- 4:34Speaker 2: you're all for Andrew Cuomo, fine, but Cuomo will have
- 4:37Speaker 2: to find his own voters. He can't go take try
- 4:40Speaker 2: to take Republican voters. This is this whole problem, this
- 4:44Speaker 2: whole crazy scenario. This Mom Donnie could be mayor. This
- 4:48Speaker 2: whole crazy problem was caused by Andrew Cuomo. He chased
- 4:54Speaker 2: Eric Adams out of the Democratic primary. Now, had Adams
- 4:59Speaker 2: been in the Democratic primary, he might have had a
- 5:01Speaker 2: shot in those debates against Mam Donni, who knows, but
- 5:04Speaker 2: it ended up just being basically the Democratic primary was
- 5:07Speaker 2: Cuomo mam Donni, and Cuomo stunk in the debates. He
- 5:12Speaker 2: got wiped out in both debates. The first debate, Mom
- 5:15Speaker 2: Donni just crushed him. So a couple of weeks later
- 5:19Speaker 2: they armed Cuomo with all sorts of things to hit
- 5:21Speaker 2: Mam Donni, with all sorts of clever things to say.
- 5:23Speaker 2: He had a whole bunch of memorized line every time
- 5:26Speaker 2: he hit Mam Donni with one, Mom Donnie just pounded
- 5:29Speaker 2: him into the ground. Cuomo's a bad debater, He's not
- 5:31Speaker 2: good at it. And Mam Donnie, who it would probably
- 5:36Speaker 2: be the worst mayor ever. But he is a good debater,
- 5:39Speaker 2: and he's a fast talker, and he's very smart in
- 5:42Speaker 2: a debate, and so he beat Cuomo badly. In both debates.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Cuomo lost the primary, really lost. Had nothing to do
- 5:49Speaker 2: with the rank choice. He lost by I think it
- 5:52Speaker 2: was four four hundred and thirty thousand from Mam Donnie.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Something like three hundred thousand for Cuomo was It was
- 5:59Speaker 2: a real serious defeat. He didn't even come close to
- 6:02Speaker 2: Mom Donni. So that's how you got stuck with this guy.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Had Cuomo not chased Eric Adams out of the primary,
- 6:08Speaker 2: things might have been different. But you end up with
- 6:11Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. And if you saw the first debate, Cuomo,
- 6:14Speaker 2: with his slow talking and his sing song, it was
- 6:18Speaker 2: not effective because Mam Donny talks a mile a minute.
- 6:21Speaker 2: When you talk like this, you sound like a very
- 6:23Speaker 2: smart guy. Because you're talking so fast, you must be
- 6:25Speaker 2: pretty smart. And then you get Cuomo who talks so slow,
- 6:29Speaker 2: and he goes up and he goes down. And of
- 6:32Speaker 2: course Curtis was great in the debate. Most experts will
- 6:38Speaker 2: agree Curtis won that first debate. The question is who noticed?
- 6:41Speaker 2: I mean, anybody knows, So you got the second and
- 6:44Speaker 2: final debate tomorrow night. That could decide everything, you know.
- 6:49Speaker 2: And the other thing is, I mean, who would you
- 6:51Speaker 2: really trust? Obviously not Mom Donnie, but would you really
- 6:55Speaker 2: trust Cuomo in office? I know he plays the role
- 6:58Speaker 2: of some sort of Bill Clinton and centrist, old fashioned
- 7:01Speaker 2: sort of a Democrat. He tries to look like that.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And that's why all these big donors you know that
- 7:06Speaker 2: are running around the Bill Ackmans pushing, pushing Cuomo. They're
- 7:11Speaker 2: the worst when it comes to politics. The big donors
- 7:13Speaker 2: always get it wrong. They fall for everything. So they've
- 7:16Speaker 2: fallen for this image of Cuomo as the centrist, mainstream,
- 7:21Speaker 2: old fashioned sort of Bill Clinton Democrat, which he's not.
- 7:24Speaker 2: When he was the governor, he was the most far
- 7:26Speaker 2: left governor we ever had. He's the guy that pushed
- 7:29Speaker 2: the no bail, no jail. He's the guy that closed prisons.
- 7:32Speaker 2: He bragged, bragged about how many prisons he closed. He's
- 7:35Speaker 2: the guy that changed the whole parole board, put all
- 7:37Speaker 2: these crazy left winging people on the parole board that
- 7:39Speaker 2: let every criminal out. They let out forty three cop killers.
- 7:44Speaker 2: He's the guy that took away the cops overtime. He
- 7:46Speaker 2: took away, the qualified immunity, anything you'd do to hurt
- 7:49Speaker 2: the cops. He was horrible, left wing sort of a governor.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So would you trust him as mayor?
- 7:57Speaker 3: No?
- 7:58Speaker 2: I mean, who's the one person you could absolutely trust? Curtis?
- 8:00Speaker 2: You know what he is, you know what he stands for.
- 8:02Speaker 2: He hasn't changed anything. You know you got Cuomo said, well,
- 8:04Speaker 2: I would do it differently. I shouldn't have done easier
- 8:07Speaker 2: changing everything as is, Mom, Donnie. The only guy who's
- 8:10Speaker 2: been totally consistent and everything he says is Curtis for
- 8:14Speaker 2: about forty years. You got absolutely trust him. Now, President
- 8:16Speaker 2: Trump trying hard, trying hard to get Curtis out of
- 8:21Speaker 2: the race.
- 8:22Speaker 4: The Mondamie thing is, it's a disaster waiting to happen.
- 8:27Speaker 4: We can't have a communist in charge of a great,
- 8:30Speaker 4: supposedly free enterprise kind of a representative city.
- 8:34Speaker 5: So I think it's if you.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Have a communist mayor, I think it's going to be
- 8:39Speaker 4: very tough for him and for the city.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, you gotta make that point tomorrow night, both
- 8:43Speaker 2: of you guys against Mom Donnie. You got to make
- 8:45Speaker 2: that point. The city is a capitalist city. That's our
- 8:48Speaker 2: main industry here in New York is capitalism. The main
- 8:52Speaker 2: industry of New York is Wall Street finance, banking. It's
- 8:57Speaker 2: a capitalist city. You can't be the mayor of the
- 9:00Speaker 2: city if you don't like capitalism. It's like you can't
- 9:03Speaker 2: go to You can't be the mayor of Detroit if
- 9:05Speaker 2: you don't like automobiles. That's their main industry, cars, That's
- 9:08Speaker 2: what they do there. Here's more of Trump. He's not
- 9:12Speaker 2: a Cuomo fan, but he just he doesn't like Curtis
- 9:15Speaker 2: at all. He's got a phobia to Curtis. It's been
- 9:18Speaker 2: a love hate relationship.
- 9:20Speaker 6: I was the only one on that stage. Difference.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Well, I'll find the clip later, but here's here's Trump
- 9:24Speaker 2: on that he's pushing behind the scenes for Cuoma.
- 9:28Speaker 7: I think it's not good to have a communist, Okay,
- 9:30Speaker 7: would I rather have a Democrat than a communist? Barely
- 9:34Speaker 7: they're almost becoming the same thing.
- 9:36Speaker 6: What about a Republican Curtis Leeve?
- 9:38Speaker 7: Well, you know, look, I mean I don't know he's
- 9:43Speaker 7: a Republican. Is he really a Republican?
- 9:45Speaker 3: You know?
- 9:46Speaker 6: Am I a big fan?
- 9:47Speaker 7: This isn't exactly ideal where he wants to make Gracie
- 9:51Speaker 7: Mansion a home for the cats.
- 9:53Speaker 6: So I'll make a decision soon. I don't know. Hey,
- 9:57Speaker 6: the mayor don't knows this. Three he looks, I don't
- 9:59Speaker 6: know that I'm.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Going to get involved.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah, well he is very involved behind the scenes. He's
- 10:03Speaker 2: calling everybody day and night, trying to push Curtis hat,
- 10:06Speaker 2: push Cloma, and you know the arguments against Curtis. You
- 10:09Speaker 2: can't really make a policy argument against Curtis. It's impossible.
- 10:12Speaker 2: He's correct on policy. So they resort to these, Well,
- 10:16Speaker 2: the cats. I don't want to see the cats. I
- 10:17Speaker 2: hate these cats. I don't want cats in gracing mansion.
- 10:20Speaker 2: It's a silly, superficial thing. It means nothing, does nothing
- 10:23Speaker 2: to do with anything. I mean, if a Cuomo were
- 10:27Speaker 2: a mayor, you'd see all those nineteen sixties muscle cars
- 10:30Speaker 2: parked all over the driveway. I mean, who cares. It's
- 10:33Speaker 2: nobody cares if he has cats and gracing Manson or
- 10:35Speaker 2: the red hat, well, well you got to stop wearing
- 10:37Speaker 2: a red beret. You got to stop wearing you know,
- 10:39Speaker 2: a guy just got elected president wearing a red hat.
- 10:41Speaker 2: You can wear a hat, it's no big deal. So
- 10:46Speaker 2: now Curtis, he's not a Trump fan, never has been.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Now that's helpful in a New York City mayoral race
- 10:53Speaker 2: because it's all very democratic city. So the fact is
- 10:55Speaker 2: you have no Trump connection. In fact, Trump doesn't like
- 10:59Speaker 2: you. You don't like that can help you here in New
- 11:02Speaker 2: York City.
- 11:02Speaker 8: I was the only one on that stage defending President
- 11:05Speaker 8: Donald Trump.
- 11:06Speaker 6: He was being double teamed by again the.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Architect of our destruction in New York State, Andrew Cuomo
- 11:13Speaker 8: and his apprentice, Johanmandami. They both couldn't wait to attack
- 11:17Speaker 8: Donald Trump. I defended him in that debate.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah. You know the problem is Cuomo when he tries,
- 11:23Speaker 2: he's been attacking Curtis in every interview, going after Curtis
- 11:26Speaker 2: like crazy.
- 11:26Speaker 6: He's really a shock jock on local radio.
- 11:30Speaker 2: No, let me stop there. Curtis has never, for one
- 11:32Speaker 2: second been a shock jack. That's a ridiculous thing to say.
- 11:36Speaker 2: His entire career has been discussing politics, and he's been
- 11:41Speaker 2: a news talk He's never been a shock jack. It's
- 11:43Speaker 2: just an out and out live from Cuomo.
- 11:45Speaker 8: He's never been in government, he has no relevant experience,
- 11:49Speaker 8: but he does take a certain number of votes, and
- 11:54Speaker 8: to that extent.
- 11:55Speaker 6: He is a spoiler. I believe he's ultimately irrelevant.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Now you can't really call a spoiler. He's a major
- 12:01Speaker 2: party nominee. Cuomo was rejected by the Democrats, and Mamdani
- 12:07Speaker 2: has the Democratic nomination. Curtis was the Republican. If you're
- 12:11Speaker 2: the Republican nominee, you're a major party candidate. Cuomo then
- 12:14Speaker 2: decided to run on some third party. If you're the
- 12:18Speaker 2: third party candidate, you are technically the spoiler. So it's
- 12:20Speaker 2: actually Cuomo that is the spoiler. Now here's more a Curtis.
- 12:24Speaker 8: I've had a love hate relationship with Donald Trump that
- 12:27Speaker 8: goes back over thirty years. But I know one thing.
- 12:31Speaker 8: We have Andrew Cuomo, we have Zarn Mondami. They want
- 12:35Speaker 8: to take on Donald Trump. Look, you can be tough,
- 12:39Speaker 8: but you can't be tough if it's going to cost
- 12:41Speaker 8: people desperately needed federal funds. John Mondami, the President has
- 12:46Speaker 8: already said it's going to take seven billion dollars out
- 12:48Speaker 8: of the budget right from the start. If you're elected mayor,
- 12:52Speaker 8: people are going to suffer in this city, people who
- 12:54Speaker 8: need those federal funds. What I would do is set
- 12:57Speaker 8: and negotiate, and if you try to get tough with Trump,
- 13:01Speaker 8: the only people who are going to suffer from that
- 13:03Speaker 8: are the people of New York trup.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, so the problem is all these people pushing Curtis
- 13:08Speaker 2: out of the race. If Curtis left the race, this
- 13:12Speaker 2: fantasy that all his voters would go run over to Cuomo.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Most of them are Republican voters. They're not going to Cuomo.
- 13:19Speaker 2: And there are a lot of Curtis voters who just
- 13:20Speaker 2: can't stand Andrew Cuomo. They're just they'll stay home they
- 13:24Speaker 2: want So there's this fantasy that he would get all
- 13:27Speaker 2: of Curtis's voters. It's not realistic. And again this is
- 13:31Speaker 2: all based on that poll that came out yesterday, which
- 13:33Speaker 2: is basically a poll produced by the Cuomo campaign. The
- 13:37Speaker 2: guy that runs that pole huge, huge Cuomo supporter. I
- 13:41Speaker 2: would not trust that poll at all. But now here's
- 13:47Speaker 2: more of Curtis.
- 13:49Speaker 6: But you can't beat Donald Trump.
- 13:51Speaker 8: You can't rub and bump shoulders with him and expect
- 13:54Speaker 8: to come out a winner for the people of New
- 13:56Speaker 8: York City. Well, Donald Trump, as our president, is old,
- 14:00Speaker 8: he's done. He makes his statement, and then he's willing
- 14:03Speaker 8: to have his minions come and negotiate with you and
- 14:06Speaker 8: figure out what's in the best interests of New York City.
- 14:09Speaker 8: He loves New York City. I know that having grown
- 14:11Speaker 8: up in this city myself.
- 14:13Speaker 2: You know. And Cuomo has been using this argument. If
- 14:15Speaker 2: Mandani wins, you'll see people leaving, leaving New York and
- 14:21Speaker 2: it'll be u haul. Well, you got to remember, nobody
- 14:23Speaker 2: caused more people to leave New York than Cuomo when
- 14:25Speaker 2: he was governor. We had a lot. You know how
- 14:28Speaker 2: many people left New York when Cuomo was governor because
- 14:30Speaker 2: of his policies. So many people left. We lost four
- 14:34Speaker 2: congressional seats under Cuomo. Do you remember there was a
- 14:37Speaker 2: year where you couldn't get a moving van. There was
- 14:39Speaker 2: such a shortage of moving vans from people leaving.
- 14:42Speaker 5: I don't think it's I don't think those accusations are fair.
- 14:48Speaker 2: We are out there.
- 14:49Speaker 5: I'm out there every day in every community. I'm at
- 14:51Speaker 5: the opening of an envelope.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yes, again, that's not true the accusation. It's people have
- 14:58Speaker 2: been pointing out he hasn't in campaigning at all. You
- 15:01Speaker 2: see him do some TV interviews, but he still has
- 15:03Speaker 2: not opened a campaign headquarters. Fourteen days left of the election,
- 15:08Speaker 2: he has not opened a campaign headquarters. He hasn't made
- 15:11Speaker 2: a campaign appearance. I know he do just the TV stuff,
- 15:14Speaker 2: but there's no campaign appearances in days he's Can you
- 15:17Speaker 2: imagine I had taken ten days off in the last
- 15:20Speaker 2: few weeks. He's done it. Hey, we'll get to this
- 15:22Speaker 2: White House Ballroom. It's an interesting story and the opposition
- 15:26Speaker 2: to it. We'll get to Gail King. Everybody is after her.
- 15:30Speaker 2: We'll get to Hey, we'll get back to Boston Blue.
- 15:33Speaker 2: There's some controversy over this. It's the sequel to Blue Bloe.
- 15:36Speaker 2: We've got a lot to get to and we'll do that.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Coming up. We'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three
- 15:42Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 15:46Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten did Mark.
- 15:49Speaker 1: On Demand by setting a preset for his podcast on
- 15:53Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Now back to Mark Simone.
- 15:57Speaker 2: On Hey, Sticks and calls. Let's go to Chris in Manhattan. Chris,
- 16:02Speaker 2: how you doing. Oh he's always upset. This guy's always frazzled.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Go ahead, Oh yeah, I am a little frazzled.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yep, right there.
- 16:16Speaker 3: For the vote along party.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Calls, Pats, something's wrong with your phone? It keeps no,
- 16:24Speaker 2: you keep cutting out? There you go Let's go to
- 16:28Speaker 2: Ernie Northport, Long Island. Ernie, how you doing?
- 16:34Speaker 9: In reference to Tomo's telling Curtis to throw it in,
- 16:37Speaker 9: I mean, he's getting a large percentage of the Democratic vote.
- 16:41Speaker 10: Why not just give it to Curtis and maybe he's
- 16:43Speaker 10: got a legitimate shot to win.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, uh, you gotta remember this poll that this
- 16:48Speaker 2: was basically the Cuomo campaign doing this poll. People that
- 16:52Speaker 2: love Cuomo did the polls showing well, if it was
- 16:56Speaker 2: just a Mom Downy and Cuomo. Look what you notice
- 17:00Speaker 2: they never pulled what would happen if it was just
- 17:02Speaker 2: Curtis and Mom Donnie. They were careful not to pull
- 17:04Speaker 2: that because Curtis might have actually done better against Mom Donnie.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Sandy in Westchester. Sandy, how you
- 17:11Speaker 2: doing all right?
- 17:13Speaker 9: Curtis got thirty one percent of the vote in the
- 17:16Speaker 9: last election. What in the world makes you all conservative
- 17:19Speaker 9: talk show hosts thinks?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Are you a Democrat?
- 17:23Speaker 3: Is that?
- 17:23Speaker 9: What?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Why you call this a conservative Touchhow? Oh?
- 17:28Speaker 9: I'm praying that you guys will start you got you got.
- 17:31Speaker 2: You gotta start with the you guys, It just sounds stupid.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Lauren in New Jersey, Lauren, how
- 17:36Speaker 2: you doing, hey?
- 17:38Speaker 11: Mark?
- 17:39Speaker 12: Hey, So, I am all for facts, numbers, statistics and
- 17:44Speaker 12: excellent polls, but talk about a weak argument. Wouldn't people
- 17:49Speaker 12: prefer cats in Gracie mentioned and a communist?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Well, you gotta remember whenever he says, I don't want
- 17:56Speaker 2: to cats and Gracey, it's a silly side ish. It
- 17:59Speaker 2: has nothing to do with anything. It means they can't
- 18:00Speaker 2: think of the argument. They just can't come up with
- 18:02Speaker 2: the argument against Curtis on a policy basis. They just
- 18:05Speaker 2: can't think of anything, you know, to say the guy's
- 18:08Speaker 2: I guess they're trying to make it sound like he's weird. Hey,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I listen, I know the guy for a million years.
- 18:12Speaker 2: He's definitely got some weird things about him, but nothing
- 18:15Speaker 2: compared to the weirdness of Cuomo. They've all got weird stuff.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Let's go to David and Queen's David. How you doing, hey, Mark?
- 18:24Speaker 9: Good morning. Kudos to you Mark for being the only
- 18:27Speaker 9: one that I hear on the radio not piling on Curtis.
- 18:29Speaker 2: No, No, there's a lot of people that there's a lot
- 18:31Speaker 2: of people supporting Curtis on the radio. Plenty of people.
- 18:34Speaker 9: This guy Cuomo caused so much damage. He should be
- 18:37Speaker 9: facing a war crimes trial.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I don't know about that. But he was a horrible
- 18:41Speaker 2: left wing governor. He was to the left of Mom Donnie.
- 18:45Speaker 2: He personally single handedly caused the crime wave with his
- 18:47Speaker 2: closing the prisons, let everybody out, the no bail note jail,
- 18:51Speaker 2: and can go on and on. But he was just
- 18:53Speaker 2: horrible as Governor christ from Manhattan. Let's see what it sounds now.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Okay, sorry about that before.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I don't know what happened.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Okay, listen, Curtis is so lucky to have a loyal friend.
- 19:03Speaker 6: And do you have.
- 19:05Speaker 2: An actual point you want to make?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Yes, I do you say frequently that that people that
- 19:10Speaker 3: don't if Curtis votes drops out, people won't vote for Cuomo.
- 19:15Speaker 2: That's not what I said at all. I said, well, fantas.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Love Curtis, but I can't vote for him.
- 19:20Speaker 2: And then don't come London, don't then don't vote for Hi.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I'm just what I said was if he drops out,
- 19:26Speaker 2: this is fantasy that all his voters will go to Cuomo.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Some of them will, most.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Of them, I think most of them will. That they
- 19:32Speaker 3: know that they know what's the right thing to do.
- 19:34Speaker 3: They wouldn't rather have Mandanmi than Cuomo.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Well, here's the problem. Here's the problem. You always get
- 19:39Speaker 2: all flustered. Here's the problem.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I know, I am flustered about Okay, I live here.
- 19:43Speaker 3: It's going to destroy the sin.
- 19:44Speaker 2: It's too hard to talk to you trying to talk
- 19:47Speaker 2: to him, moth It's impossible. Here's the argument, though, anytime
- 19:52Speaker 2: you put Cuomo against mont Donnie, Cuomo loses. We've tested
- 19:55Speaker 2: this a number of times in the primary fence. Whenever
- 19:58Speaker 2: you put Cuomo against Mom Donnie, Cuomo loses. It's we've
- 20:03Speaker 2: seen it in action in a Democratic primary. Cuomo camp
- 20:07Speaker 2: beat Mam Donnie. So to think he's going to be
- 20:09Speaker 2: popular with Republicans it's a bit of a stretch. So,
- 20:14Speaker 2: and it's also he was a horrible governor. He was
- 20:17Speaker 2: as left wing as Mam Donnie when he governed. It's
- 20:20Speaker 2: something to consider. Let's go to Chuck and Staten Island. Chuck,
- 20:23Speaker 2: how you doing, Hi, Mark?
- 20:27Speaker 3: It occurred to me that Trump won a lot of
- 20:29Speaker 3: reason was that people lied in the polls, but they
- 20:33Speaker 3: told the truth when they voted.
- 20:34Speaker 13: So all the Republicans have to do is get.
- 20:36Speaker 3: At and vote.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. You know that is another
- 20:40Speaker 2: point there is guys that Curtis tend to what they
- 20:43Speaker 2: say call underpole. They just don't poll as well as
- 20:46Speaker 2: they would really do. And again again this poll that
- 20:49Speaker 2: came out yesterday, don't take this poll seriously. It was
- 20:51Speaker 2: basically done by the Cuomo campaign and the people that
- 20:55Speaker 2: run that pole are huge Cuomo supporters, so don't take
- 20:58Speaker 2: it seriously. They were very careful not to poll Curtis
- 21:01Speaker 2: versus Mom Donnie because they didn't want to hear the answer.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But don't take that poll yesterday seriously. And also, it's
- 21:11Speaker 2: possible tomorrow night things could change Curtis, and even he's
- 21:14Speaker 2: admitted there were no big knockout punches in the first debate.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Let's see what happens tomorrow night. Silly to say anything
- 21:21Speaker 2: until tomorrow night's final debate. Then we'll know. If Curtis
- 21:26Speaker 2: can't do some damage to Mom Donnie, then maybe he
- 21:29Speaker 2: should get out. We'll see, But tomorrow night's the key.
- 21:31Speaker 2: When we come back. Bill O'Reilly will be with us
- 21:34Speaker 2: next on seven to ten wor lit.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Here's more, Mark Simone on seven to ten wr Hey,
- 21:42Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly, you know his new book Confronting Evil.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Oh, it's a huge bestseller. You got to get this book.
- 21:48Speaker 2: If you haven't ordered it yet, read the book is
- 21:50Speaker 2: Confronting Evil. Phenomenal book. You can order it right now
- 21:54Speaker 2: it's out. Also, you can watch the TV show the column.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Everything is at billoreilly dot com and make sure you
- 22:01Speaker 2: check out his YouTube channel, Bill O'Reilly on YouTube. It's
- 22:03Speaker 2: become a big, big, big channel. A lot of great
- 22:06Speaker 2: stuff there, Bill O'Reilly. How you doing.
- 22:09Speaker 13: You know, I'm tread and water here two weeks before
- 22:12Speaker 13: the vote? Right?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Uh yeah, not easy. Tell us about Washington, d C.
- 22:18Speaker 2: You spent a lot of time there last week. What
- 22:20Speaker 2: does it look like now? Is it different that the
- 22:22Speaker 2: Trump is guarding it?
- 22:24Speaker 13: Yeah, it's different in the sense that there's bulldozers all
- 22:27Speaker 13: over the White House bulldoze and old thing down. I
- 22:35Speaker 13: have never been a big fan of the District of Columbia.
- 22:38Speaker 13: I think it's an artificial city, unlike New York, where
- 22:43Speaker 13: you know, real people live and people come here from
- 22:46Speaker 13: all over the world to succeed and get involved with
- 22:51Speaker 13: the neighborhoods from which they live.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Washington's not like that.
- 22:56Speaker 13: Most of these people work for the federal government. Or
- 22:59Speaker 13: some kind of a support system. There's not really defined neighborhoods,
- 23:04Speaker 13: like there's not an Italian neighborhood or Greek neighborhood. You
- 23:08Speaker 13: don't have that. It's it's sterile. But we had a
- 23:13Speaker 13: lot to do down there. It was in the White
- 23:14Speaker 13: House twice. We did the Big three American Show, which
- 23:19Speaker 13: twenty three million people access that or part of that program.
- 23:26Speaker 13: It was a News Nation production, which was phenomenal. So
- 23:31Speaker 13: we were really busy.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and the new Kennedy Center looks good, looks very good,
- 23:36Speaker 2: doesn't it.
- 23:37Speaker 13: Yeah. I had been there a few years ago when
- 23:41Speaker 13: I shocked the world and I gave an award to
- 23:44Speaker 13: Herbie Hancock Presidential Medal Award, which is what President Trump
- 23:52Speaker 13: was giving out, and the producer's CBS selected me to do.
- 24:00Speaker 13: I think they just wanted to annoy Barack Obama, who
- 24:03Speaker 13: was in the audience and in and as that I
- 24:06Speaker 13: walked out, But Herbie had asked for me because I've
- 24:09Speaker 13: known him for a while. He's a very funny guy.
- 24:13Speaker 13: And it hasn't much changed. It's a good place to
- 24:17Speaker 13: go to see any exposition at all.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, the Trump is building a ballroom. It's something
- 24:24Speaker 2: that should have been done a long time ago, instead
- 24:25Speaker 2: of having these parties in a tent outside. And you
- 24:28Speaker 2: saw the Rose garden. It's beautiful now with the beautiful
- 24:31Speaker 2: tile instead of standing on wet grass. Isn't it much nicer?
- 24:34Speaker 13: Yeah, I mean, look, it's a matter of taste. I'm
- 24:37Speaker 13: a big traditional guy. Probably would have done a lesser footprint.
- 24:40Speaker 13: What I liked about the Rose Garden was that he
- 24:42Speaker 13: put portraits of every president. I think he had a
- 24:47Speaker 13: little blanket over Biden and Obama, but he is a
- 24:52Speaker 13: portrait of everyone in the car that going from the
- 24:55Speaker 13: residence to the Oval office. Yeah, and it really looked
- 24:59Speaker 13: good and it was just respectful to the past presidents.
- 25:03Speaker 13: But look, oh, it's a matter of taste. He's a
- 25:06Speaker 13: grandeur guy. He likes to make the big statement where
- 25:09Speaker 13: the big power in the world, and he wants, you know,
- 25:13Speaker 13: people to know it when they come into the White House.
- 25:15Speaker 13: That's what he's doing.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Hey, the No Kings rally, most people were a little
- 25:21Speaker 2: surprised at how old the people were. It was a
- 25:23Speaker 2: very white crowd, very old. It was sponsored. They've they've
- 25:27Speaker 2: traced the money now of every oligarch put money into this,
- 25:30Speaker 2: What would you think of it?
- 25:32Speaker 13: I thought it was all right in this ins then
- 25:35Speaker 13: the right to protest I respect, So I don't mind
- 25:40Speaker 13: you going out there to protest anything you want, as
- 25:43Speaker 13: long as you do it peacefully, which they did. I
- 25:46Speaker 13: thought that was impressive. I was up in Kingston, New York,
- 25:51Speaker 13: up on the Hudson, and they had a little rally there,
- 25:55Speaker 13: but it was like a big party up there. The
- 25:57Speaker 13: ice cream guys were there, and the kids are running around,
- 26:02Speaker 13: and there were not very many young people that are
- 26:05Speaker 13: going to the football games, high school games and stuff
- 26:07Speaker 13: like that. It was mostly older hippies up in Kingston.
- 26:11Speaker 13: If you know that part of New York, Ryan Beck
- 26:14Speaker 13: and all that, a lot of hippies have moved up
- 26:16Speaker 13: there and they, you know, they're like the quiet or whatever.
- 26:21Speaker 13: I don't know, but I didn't have any problem with
- 26:24Speaker 13: the no Kings protests itself. But I would ask people,
- 26:29Speaker 13: so what exactly are you protesting? And the ice thing
- 26:33Speaker 13: was the big thing they don't want. They don't want
- 26:35Speaker 13: immigration law enforced, and I think that should be you know, look,
- 26:41Speaker 13: you can disagree on policy, but if you don't want
- 26:43Speaker 13: immigration enforce and many, many of these people do not
- 26:47Speaker 13: want any enforcement of immigration law. Then that should be
- 26:52Speaker 13: known because that's a fairly radical position. And I think
- 26:56Speaker 13: that the people who sponsored it, if you look at
- 26:59Speaker 13: who put it to get yeah, they're all radical leftists.
- 27:01Speaker 13: Every single organization to pump money into that is way
- 27:05Speaker 13: way out there.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, the book Confronting Evil, big, big bestseller. Now everybody,
- 27:13Speaker 2: I know. The chapter they're talking about the most is
- 27:15Speaker 2: the Putin chapter. They really they didn't realize what a
- 27:19Speaker 2: psychopath this guy is.
- 27:21Speaker 13: Yeah. I gave the book to President Trump on nine
- 27:25Speaker 13: to eleven when I was with him at Yankee Stadium,
- 27:27Speaker 13: and I got a nice letter from him yesterday totally
- 27:31Speaker 13: out of the blue, saying, this is really an important book.
- 27:36Speaker 13: It goes into my collection. I got a lot of
- 27:39Speaker 13: Trump stuff over the years. But it was a very
- 27:41Speaker 13: kind thing for him to do that because he knows
- 27:43Speaker 13: any endorsement will help me in the book sales department.
- 27:50Speaker 13: But I think another chapter that is important is the
- 27:53Speaker 13: Henry the eighth chapter, because if you really want to
- 27:56Speaker 13: know about what Kings two y Henry could have been
- 28:00Speaker 13: any demonstrations, no, uh those head you know, you'll lose
- 28:07Speaker 13: your head quicker. And so the people out there. They
- 28:11Speaker 13: don't really know what the absolute monarchs did, and they
- 28:15Speaker 13: just kind of like along for the left wing ride,
- 28:18Speaker 13: the liberal ride. But the Putin chapter, I know the
- 28:22Speaker 13: President read it, and it is an important, obviously chapter
- 28:27Speaker 13: because Putin is the most dangerous man in the world
- 28:30Speaker 13: right now.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Henry the eighth chapter, I can't even listen to
- 28:34Speaker 2: the Herman Hermit's song anymore.
- 28:37Speaker 3: He's what a guy?
- 28:39Speaker 13: Oh boy? Yeah, you don't want to date Henry the eighth.
- 28:44Speaker 2: You know, it's an amazing book, Confronting Evil. I think
- 28:50Speaker 2: it's I think it's the best book so far. But
- 28:52Speaker 2: order it you can. It's out Confronting Evil. Uh, and
- 28:56Speaker 2: the TV show, the column, everything is at Bill O'Reilly
- 28:58Speaker 2: dot com. Hey, we only got a minute left mayoral race.
- 29:01Speaker 5: What do you think it's man?
- 29:03Speaker 13: He's going to win, unfortunately, and the city will now
- 29:06Speaker 13: pay a price to that, as everybody who's sane pretty
- 29:10Speaker 13: much knows.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Uh.
- 29:12Speaker 13: The good news to me as a New Yorker is
- 29:15Speaker 13: that Hoko will lose next year because she'll be attached
- 29:18Speaker 13: to Mandani and when the city goes south and it
- 29:22Speaker 13: will quickly just a nine to one one system itself.
- 29:25Speaker 13: When you get in trouble, you call nine one one,
- 29:27Speaker 13: nobody's going to answer your call. You're on your own.
- 29:33Speaker 13: That's how bad it's going to be. Garbage won't be
- 29:35Speaker 13: picked up. You know it's going to be, and it's
- 29:38Speaker 13: going to happen fast.
- 29:40Speaker 3: So that'll all fall on Hoko.
- 29:42Speaker 13: She'll lose, and that's what the state needs. He needs leadership.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Well, thanks for cheering us up, but.
- 29:51Speaker 13: Well, the whole thing is shoots some people up right, Okay,
- 29:56Speaker 13: not a popular governor, that's for sure.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Well, everybody, go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You can
- 30:01Speaker 2: get the TV show, the column, that book, everything is there,
- 30:04Speaker 2: and get the book Confronting Evil, and make sure you
- 30:06Speaker 2: watch Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Boy, there's great stuff there.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being with us.
- 30:12Speaker 13: Always a pleasure. Mark, thanks for having me.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Take care. Yeah, we'll get back to the mayoral race
- 30:17Speaker 2: in the next hour. I got lots to get to
- 30:19Speaker 2: in the next hour, So don't go away. Buck and
- 30:21Speaker 2: Clay coming up at noon today. Excellent show every day
- 30:24Speaker 2: from noon to three on seven to ten, wr.
- 30:27Speaker 6: Make it all make sense.
- 30:29Speaker 1: He's marks alone on sevent tenr.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Hey, most beautiful day of the week. Today. It could
- 30:38Speaker 2: be near seventy today, sunshine. It might be a little
- 30:42Speaker 2: rain tomorrow and then look bad. It goes into the
- 30:45Speaker 2: fifties later in the week. But hey, in the next hour,
- 30:49Speaker 2: we'll get back to the mayoral race, we'll get to
- 30:50Speaker 2: the White House reconstruction, and a whole lot more coming up.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Buck and Clay will be here at noon today. Don't
- 30:58Speaker 2: forget at three o'clock the mostless to radio show in America,
- 31:02Speaker 2: Sean Hannity and Jesse Kelly at six and every night
- 31:05Speaker 2: at nine Jimmy Fail. It's an excellent new show. You
- 31:07Speaker 2: should be listening to. I'm here ten to noon every day,
- 31:11Speaker 2: or you could listen anytime. Just get the podcast. I'll
- 31:14Speaker 2: be back right after the news on seven to ten.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Wr here's more of the Mark Ximon Show on woor.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Hey, we'll get to the mayoral race in just second.
- 31:28Speaker 2: We'll get to Boston Blue. We'll get to the shutdown
- 31:33Speaker 2: and all of that coming out. Hey, the No Kings
- 31:36Speaker 2: whatever it was march rally, I don't know if you
- 31:38Speaker 2: call them march. I mean, they were all one hundred
- 31:40Speaker 2: years old. It's not a march that seems like they
- 31:42Speaker 2: just emptied out the senior citizen homes for this thing.
- 31:45Speaker 2: It was heavily funded by oligarchs. Oligarchs paid for the
- 31:49Speaker 2: no Kings thing. If you want to see the list
- 31:51Speaker 2: of who paid for it, go to my Twitter, Mark
- 31:56Speaker 2: Simone n Y at Twitter. You'll see the actual chart
- 31:58Speaker 2: up there. Who financed this king's thing. It should have
- 32:02Speaker 2: been called the no point. It wasn't about kings. There's
- 32:05Speaker 2: no king, of course, it was just a Trump derangement syndrome.
- 32:10Speaker 2: March and you know, and everybody wondering. They're looking at
- 32:13Speaker 2: the pictures and they said, why are they all so old?
- 32:16Speaker 2: I say, the oldest crowd. These are all the late sixties,
- 32:21Speaker 2: early seventies hippies that were marching back then. This is then,
- 32:25Speaker 2: and again it's not a no Kings thing, has nothing
- 32:27Speaker 2: to do with kings. It was strictly a Trump derangement syndrome,
- 32:31Speaker 2: rally Trump derangement syndrome. And the funniest thing, if you
- 32:34Speaker 2: want to see how corrupt the media is, if Donald
- 32:38Speaker 2: Trump says anything, they throw in this phrase President Trump
- 32:41Speaker 2: claimed without evidence bubba. And if he tells you how
- 32:45Speaker 2: big the crowd was it is inauguration, they fact check
- 32:47Speaker 2: him to death. Well, when it comes to this, No Kings.
- 32:50Speaker 2: You may have heard the figure seven million. It turns
- 32:53Speaker 2: out that figure is absolutely false. It was more like
- 32:56Speaker 2: one million. Maybe maybe it might have even been under
- 32:59Speaker 2: one million. There were no seven million at the not Kings.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Where do they get that crazy figure from the event organizers?
- 33:06Speaker 2: You'll see down't you say that on the news if
- 33:08Speaker 2: you're watching MSNBC or the New York Times. Seven million
- 33:11Speaker 2: attended according to the organizers. Since when do you trust
- 33:15Speaker 2: the organizer to tell you? How come when Trump told
- 33:18Speaker 2: you how many people were at the inauguration, you didn't
- 33:20Speaker 2: take his word for it. You went and fact checked
- 33:22Speaker 2: it yourself. The way you get crowd size, you talk
- 33:24Speaker 2: to local officials, local police. They have people there that
- 33:27Speaker 2: are experts at estimating crowd size. You don't ask the
- 33:31Speaker 2: organizer to tell you. But this is how corrupt the
- 33:34Speaker 2: media is. They all, every one of them, every anchor,
- 33:37Speaker 2: every net seven million according to the organizers. They just
- 33:41Speaker 2: took that like that's like that's a fact. So a
- 33:44Speaker 2: shutdown continues. They were going to have a vote today.
- 33:49Speaker 2: What does it mean with the shut That means every
- 33:51Speaker 2: day you got to watch Chuck Schumer. I like the
- 33:54Speaker 2: big glasses now instead of the little Ben Franklin like
- 33:56Speaker 2: a big clunky swift Delasar kind of glasses on. And
- 34:02Speaker 2: he goes in every day and he makes that makes
- 34:06Speaker 2: that same speech about everybody's going to die. People are
- 34:09Speaker 2: going to starve, everybody's going to die, everybody's. All you
- 34:14Speaker 2: got to do is vote for the It's called the
- 34:17Speaker 2: clean cr. They got all these stupid terms. They use
- 34:20Speaker 2: a clean CR. It just means you can sign an extension,
- 34:24Speaker 2: the seven day extension of three weeks. It makes sense
- 34:27Speaker 2: you do this anywhere else. You sign an extension so
- 34:30Speaker 2: it gives you time to talk. All you got to
- 34:31Speaker 2: do is sign it. So don't fall for Chuck Schumer
- 34:34Speaker 2: and the glasses fogging up as he gets all excited.
- 34:38Speaker 2: All he has to do is sign the extension and
- 34:42Speaker 2: everything will be fine. Oh hey, there's a book that's
- 34:44Speaker 2: coming out. It just came out today, was released today.
- 34:48Speaker 2: We've been telling you about. It's the definitive ultimate book
- 34:51Speaker 2: on Johnny Carson. You're gonna want to read this book
- 34:55Speaker 2: if you watch the late night shows and just shake
- 34:57Speaker 2: your head now and you think what happened happened to
- 35:00Speaker 2: Johnny Carson? The real Late Night host. Well, this guy,
- 35:04Speaker 2: Mark Malkoff, we've had him on the show. We'll get
- 35:06Speaker 2: him on the show again this week. Mark Malcoff, he wrote,
- 35:09Speaker 2: he's a young guy, he wasn't even around back then,
- 35:11Speaker 2: but he's the most incredible researcher and he studied everything
- 35:14Speaker 2: about Carson and it's the absolute definitive book that analyzes
- 35:19Speaker 2: Johnny Carson. It's an incredible book. It's called Love Johnny Carson.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It's out. Go to Amazon order Love Johnny Carson, the
- 35:29Speaker 2: new book. He's the guy that does the Carson Podcast.
- 35:32Speaker 2: You should also listen to that. He's interviewed everybody that
- 35:35Speaker 2: was ever on the Tonight Show, everybody that worked on
- 35:36Speaker 2: the Tonight Show. Phenomenal book. Uh, speaking of books, here's
- 35:43Speaker 2: another one of these articles. You read these articles, they
- 35:45Speaker 2: tell you, don't look at your phone, don't watch TV,
- 35:50Speaker 2: don't do anything an hour before you go to sleep.
- 35:52Speaker 2: No screens. Don't you know something about the blue light
- 35:56Speaker 2: of the screen the computer. Don't look at your laptop,
- 35:59Speaker 2: don't look at your phone. You won't be able to sleep.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Who the hell comes up with this nonsense? This is
- 36:05Speaker 2: the dumbest thing I've ever read. You know, I in
- 36:07Speaker 2: my when I'm in bed, I got a laptop in
- 36:09Speaker 2: there with me and my phone. I'm looking at both,
- 36:12Speaker 2: plus the TV's on. I got three screens in my face,
- 36:15Speaker 2: and I fall asleep right in the middle of it.
- 36:17Speaker 2: I have no problem falling asleep. How many times you've
- 36:21Speaker 2: been doing you look at your phone? He just does.
- 36:23Speaker 2: It's so easy to fall asleep looking at your phone,
- 36:26Speaker 2: looking at your screen. You know, then you wake up
- 36:28Speaker 2: in the middle of the night. Now, in the middle
- 36:30Speaker 2: of the night, there's no phone, no screen, the TV's off,
- 36:32Speaker 2: everything's off. It's total. That's when you can't go back
- 36:35Speaker 2: to sleep. That's when you have trouble falling asleep. So
- 36:37Speaker 2: don't believe that stuff. You can look right at your
- 36:41Speaker 2: computer if you're tired enough, you're fall asleep, but it's
- 36:44Speaker 2: nothing to do. There's no blue light. And don't buy
- 36:47Speaker 2: that stuff for a second. Hey, Gail King got in
- 36:50Speaker 2: a little bit of trouble. She's on a plane flying
- 36:53Speaker 2: back from some place. Big first class seat. Who's in
- 36:57Speaker 2: the next seat, some guy with hat on and glasses.
- 37:01Speaker 2: But then it turns out the guy is Jesse Waters
- 37:05Speaker 2: of Fox News. Very nice guy, Jesse Waters. Gail King
- 37:09Speaker 2: appears to be nice, but anyway, she can be nice
- 37:15Speaker 2: when she wants to be. So they're sitting together on
- 37:17Speaker 2: this four hour flight and they start talking and they
- 37:20Speaker 2: become very friendly. Jesse Waters a very charming, friendly guy
- 37:23Speaker 2: in real life, and Gail King when she wants to
- 37:25Speaker 2: be can be friendly and charming. So the two of
- 37:27Speaker 2: them hit it off. She takes a picture, she puts
- 37:30Speaker 2: it up on Twitter. Look who I sat next to
- 37:33Speaker 2: Jesse Waters. Interesting conversation. We had a good time on
- 37:36Speaker 2: the flight. Nice to meet him. Well, she is getting
- 37:39Speaker 2: bombarded on Twitter. She is getting attacked left and right.
- 37:42Speaker 2: The liberal left wing kooks are all over her, yelling
- 37:46Speaker 2: and screaming at her. How dare you talk to a Nazi?
- 37:49Speaker 2: He's a Nazis and everybody's a not everybody's a Nazi
- 37:54Speaker 2: to them except Hitler, But everybody's Hitler. Everybody's a Nazi.
- 37:58Speaker 2: With these left wing Trump de arrangements, people, they have
- 38:02Speaker 2: no tolerance for anything, no tolerance at all. Hey, you
- 38:08Speaker 2: know down in the meatpacking district, you got that big
- 38:10Speaker 2: Google building, you got the Chelsea Market, which was like
- 38:14Speaker 2: the centerpiece of the meatpacking district, built by the legendary
- 38:18Speaker 2: Irwin Cohen and then across the street, you got the
- 38:21Speaker 2: whole block. It's the biggest building in New York, the
- 38:23Speaker 2: huge building. It's just says Google all over. It turns
- 38:29Speaker 2: out they have a bed bug problem. Some other buildings
- 38:33Speaker 2: got bed bugs. They've evacuated the building. They say they're
- 38:36Speaker 2: getting it under control, getting rid of the bed bugs.
- 38:40Speaker 2: But everybody at Google, and that's a lot of employees
- 38:44Speaker 2: they actually have that. They bought the Chelsea market, they
- 38:47Speaker 2: got like four major buildings, tens of thousands of people
- 38:50Speaker 2: working at Google. They've told everybody in every building to
- 38:53Speaker 2: work from home until they get the problem under control.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Now this is getting in the news. I don't know,
- 39:00Speaker 2: this is not good. Somebody might get the idea. You know,
- 39:01Speaker 2: a lot of people don't want to go back to
- 39:03Speaker 2: the office. They want to work from home. A lot
- 39:05Speaker 2: of these companies make you come back. So I know
- 39:07Speaker 2: somebody might be getting the idea, I'll bring some bed
- 39:09Speaker 2: bugs in and then we'll get to work from home
- 39:11Speaker 2: for a week. Or don't do that. Don't do that.
- 39:14Speaker 2: You know who's the king of this work from come
- 39:17Speaker 2: back to the office. Jamie Diamond, the brilliant great CEO
- 39:21Speaker 2: of JP Morgan Chase wants everybody back in the office.
- 39:25Speaker 2: He's got a thing about this, he really does. He's
- 39:27Speaker 2: like Paulie and Goodfellas. You know, remember Paulie, and he says,
- 39:32Speaker 2: you gotta go back. I'm not saying you got to
- 39:33Speaker 2: go back this minute, but you gotta go back. So
- 39:35Speaker 2: here is this thing about back to the office. And
- 39:39Speaker 2: one of the reasons he built on Park Avenue. Let's
- 39:44Speaker 2: see forty seventh I think it's forty seventh in Park
- 39:48Speaker 2: the brand new JP Morgan Chase Skyscraper. It is massive.
- 39:52Speaker 2: My friend David Arena is actually the guy that came
- 39:55Speaker 2: up with this building. It's phenomenal, three billion dollars. It's
- 39:59Speaker 2: the most amazing new office building ever built. And it
- 40:03Speaker 2: can hold I think ten thousand people. Ten thousand people
- 40:06Speaker 2: will be working on that building. And they put in
- 40:09Speaker 2: anything and everything. There's a gym everywhere, there's a sauna,
- 40:13Speaker 2: there's a spa, there's a wellness and anything you can need.
- 40:18Speaker 2: And then as far as food, they got Danny Meyer
- 40:20Speaker 2: the Great Restaurant Tour to do nineteen different restaurants and
- 40:23Speaker 2: eateries in there. Nineteen different eateries, restaurants, cafes, anything you want.
- 40:30Speaker 2: You know, this is a lot of these office buildings.
- 40:32Speaker 2: You're doing this. They got a top restaurant guy to
- 40:34Speaker 2: do this. It's a big problem for door Dash and
- 40:36Speaker 2: Seamless and all the delivery grub Hub. Nobody has to
- 40:40Speaker 2: order anything. It's all comes right from the building. Whatever
- 40:42Speaker 2: you want to eat, anything in the world is in
- 40:44Speaker 2: the building. So hey, a Boston Blue. I didn't really
- 40:52Speaker 2: notice it because it was a quick scene. But the
- 40:55Speaker 2: new series Boston Blue, Danny Reagan goes to Boston because
- 40:59Speaker 2: his son has become a policeman in Boston and he
- 41:01Speaker 2: gets injured and you briefly see the sun but you
- 41:05Speaker 2: know that's the son Danny Reagan had in Blue Bloods.
- 41:07Speaker 2: You know at the family dinner that sun Shan. Well,
- 41:10Speaker 2: there's a little controversy because in the new spinoff series
- 41:13Speaker 2: Boston Blue, the Sun Shawn has become a Boston police officer.
- 41:17Speaker 2: But as you can see when you look at him,
- 41:19Speaker 2: it's not the same actor. They switched actors. A different
- 41:22Speaker 2: kid now plays Danny Reagan's son, and it's upsetting a
- 41:26Speaker 2: lot of people and they're saying, well, what happened? Where's
- 41:29Speaker 2: the uh? They said, Well, what they said, we wanted
- 41:32Speaker 2: a different energy. Now, if you go back and look
- 41:35Speaker 2: at it, the uh the kid from a Blue Bloods
- 41:38Speaker 2: that played Sean was kind of kind of a puffy
- 41:41Speaker 2: looking guy. I think what it was they wanted somebody
- 41:45Speaker 2: looked like Danny Reagan, like a lean, mean cop, you know,
- 41:48Speaker 2: tough looking, mean, lean detective type, and that kid was
- 41:52Speaker 2: kind of a you know, puffy, kind of a butter
- 41:54Speaker 2: ball kind of. So they've switched to actors. But it's
- 41:57Speaker 2: upsetting a lot of people, and I don't know how
- 42:00Speaker 2: I feel about it. I'm still still getting over the
- 42:04Speaker 2: two Darrens on Bewitched. I mean that's still tough to
- 42:07Speaker 2: get over, you know. I mean that was a different case. Though,
- 42:11Speaker 2: that was a different case. Dick York was the Darren
- 42:13Speaker 2: on Bewitch. He had tremendous health problems. He was in
- 42:17Speaker 2: agony and pain. He had tremendous back problems, health problems.
- 42:21Speaker 2: He had to leave. So they didn't deliberately switch. This
- 42:25Speaker 2: is a deliberate switch. Now you're saying, what about Marilyn Munster, Well,
- 42:29Speaker 2: that was remember Marilyn Munster, the good looking blonde. It
- 42:33Speaker 2: was one woman for the first couple of years. Then
- 42:36Speaker 2: she left. What happened was she married a billionaire, a zillionaire.
- 42:39Speaker 2: She was this hot looking blonde Mary's azillionaire leaves the show.
- 42:42Speaker 2: They had to get a new Marilynd Munster. But let's
- 42:44Speaker 2: get back to the current century. Uh, what if Mom
- 42:50Speaker 2: Donnie wins? It's not looking great. What if Mom Donnie wins?
- 42:55Speaker 2: The good news is Kathy Hochel has said she will
- 43:00Speaker 2: stay on top of everything if he wins. If he
- 43:02Speaker 2: screws up the police or anything, the garbage or transit, what,
- 43:07Speaker 2: she'll be right in there to fix it. That's the
- 43:09Speaker 2: good news. The bad news is now you're depending on
- 43:13Speaker 2: Kathy Hochel, who's like the not great. If he wins,
- 43:19Speaker 2: it's possible he will never serve. Now, if he wins,
- 43:24Speaker 2: he doesn't take office until January first. The Department of Justice,
- 43:29Speaker 2: the Trump administration, and some private investigating organizations are digging
- 43:34Speaker 2: into the money. How they hell did this guy come
- 43:37Speaker 2: out of nowhere with no money and suddenly have fifty
- 43:39Speaker 2: million to spend on a campaign. Where did it come from?
- 43:42Speaker 2: A lot of people think there's foreign money that not
- 43:44Speaker 2: only came in that he knew about it. If that's
- 43:46Speaker 2: the case, if they prove that he's gone, he's out
- 43:49Speaker 2: of the race, or doesn't take office, they can actually
- 43:52Speaker 2: remove him. So they're I know, I've been telling you
- 43:56Speaker 2: this for weeks and they keep telling me, Oh, well,
- 43:58Speaker 2: we're getting close. We're getting close. So far, I haven't
- 44:01Speaker 2: seen anything, but we'll see now. The other good news
- 44:04Speaker 2: is he's a horrible anti Semitic guy. The Jewish community
- 44:09Speaker 2: has to worry about the anti semitism of Mom Donnie.
- 44:13Speaker 2: There are officials of the Department of Justice who have
- 44:16Speaker 2: said to me they will monitor him carefully if he
- 44:19Speaker 2: takes office. If they see anything like that, they will
- 44:22Speaker 2: arrest him for a hate crime. They will move right
- 44:25Speaker 2: in and arrest him. So that's more good news. The
- 44:29Speaker 2: debate is tomorrow night. We'll see what happens in that debate.
- 44:32Speaker 2: If Curtis is going to change the direction momentum, it's
- 44:35Speaker 2: going to have to be tomorrow night. He was great
- 44:38Speaker 2: and he won the first debate, but it didn't really
- 44:40Speaker 2: change much. But we'll see. We haven't had any real
- 44:43Speaker 2: polling since that first debate. He had that poll yesterday,
- 44:46Speaker 2: but don't take that seriously. That's from the Cuomo camp.
- 44:50Speaker 2: The people that put up put together that poll. Yes,
- 44:52Speaker 2: a big big Cuomo people, so don't take it seriously.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Don't take it seriously. We haven't had any real polling yet,
- 44:59Speaker 2: so we'll see. You got a lot of these big, big,
- 45:03Speaker 2: big donors. They're gonna be all over television. Bill Ackman
- 45:05Speaker 2: and the leading one major, huge billionaire hedge fund guys
- 45:09Speaker 2: telling you only Cuomo can win. Only now, you got
- 45:12Speaker 2: to remember, we love these people and they're brilliant at
- 45:14Speaker 2: what they do, but they are always wrong when it
- 45:17Speaker 2: comes to politics. One hundred percent of the time. They
- 45:20Speaker 2: always get it wrong. These are the same guys that
- 45:22Speaker 2: told you Trump can't win, you have to go with
- 45:24Speaker 2: the Santas. Trump can't win. Trump has to leave so
- 45:27Speaker 2: we can run to Santa. They're always wrong every time.
- 45:29Speaker 2: They're brilliant. As Kellyan Conway actually charted it out. She
- 45:34Speaker 2: can chart it through the years, they've been wrong one
- 45:36Speaker 2: hundred percent of the time. And as she says, they've
- 45:40Speaker 2: made billions doing what they do, they've never made a
- 45:43Speaker 2: penny giving political advice because they stink at it. Same
- 45:46Speaker 2: thing would happen if you asked all these billionaires to
- 45:48Speaker 2: give you football predictions, you'd find out they don't know
- 45:51Speaker 2: what they're talking, and they're always wrong when it comes
- 45:53Speaker 2: to football predictions, same thing when they come to any
- 45:56Speaker 2: political prediction. So don't take it seriously. Hey, we'll take
- 46:01Speaker 2: some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three to two
- 46:03Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 46:07Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Give WR a bre said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 46:13Speaker 1: hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in an instance. Ye,
- 46:19Speaker 1: back to the Mark Simo show on WOR.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Carol in Philadelphia. Carol,
- 46:28Speaker 2: how you doing fine?
- 46:29Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 46:30Speaker 11: Mark.
- 46:30Speaker 14: It's really a pleasure to talk to you. Even though
- 46:33Speaker 14: I am from Philadelphia, I am watching everything that's going
- 46:37Speaker 14: on in New York. By the way, I am a
- 46:40Speaker 14: longtime listener, first time callers.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Well, Salik a great caller. We love people in Philadelphia.
- 46:45Speaker 2: We love Philadelphia.
- 46:47Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Well.
- 46:48Speaker 14: My problem with this Curtis thing? How dare how dare
- 46:51Speaker 14: anybody to ask Curtis to drop out? What's supposed to
- 46:55Speaker 14: happen with Republican voters? I mean, what are they supposed
- 46:59Speaker 14: to do this? Currently? Not going to go Democrat for
- 47:01Speaker 14: the two losers?
- 47:03Speaker 2: Yeah? Well again, let me just point out this pole
- 47:06Speaker 2: that came out this week was done by the Trump,
- 47:08Speaker 2: done by Cuomo's big supporters. It's a don't trust the
- 47:11Speaker 2: pole that came out showing Cuomo and mom Donnie or
- 47:15Speaker 2: a tide because it was done by heavy, heavy Cuomo supporters.
- 47:18Speaker 2: And then you notice they were very careful not to
- 47:21Speaker 2: poll Curtis versus Mam Donny because it might have shown
- 47:23Speaker 2: the same thing.
- 47:24Speaker 14: But go ahead, Well, I'll tell you what. As an outsider,
- 47:27Speaker 14: I predict he is going to landslide like our Trump did,
- 47:31Speaker 14: and I will be the first to be screaming my
- 47:34Speaker 14: lungs out in goodness.
- 47:35Speaker 2: All right, Caroly, you did a good job. Your first
- 47:37Speaker 2: call excellent. I don't know about a landslide, but who
- 47:41Speaker 2: knows what could happen. Let's go to Kevin and Charlotte. Kevin,
- 47:44Speaker 2: how you doing, Hi?
- 47:47Speaker 12: Mark?
- 47:48Speaker 11: You know, I'm really upset about this concept of Trump
- 47:51Speaker 11: pardoning p Diddy. By the end of the week, he
- 47:53Speaker 11: got a super light sentence to begin with. I mean,
- 47:56Speaker 11: that's the kind of thing democrats do something like that.
- 48:00Speaker 11: He should he was lucky he got what he got.
- 48:03Speaker 11: And also I'm upset over this idea of him forgiving
- 48:07Speaker 11: student debt. That's another idea of the Democrats.
- 48:10Speaker 15: I just heard that this.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Morning on Yeah all right, well you're not wrong, but
- 48:13Speaker 2: I think the only good thing but the student loans. Watch.
- 48:16Speaker 2: It was the signature of Biden's campaign forgive the student loans. Watch.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Democrats will take him to court. They'll try to stop
- 48:21Speaker 2: Trump say it can't forgive student loans. It's an illegal unconstitution.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Why watch how they flip flop on this. Yeah, he
- 48:27Speaker 2: is a little love he's a little too forgiving with
- 48:30Speaker 2: the pardons and the commutations. But he'll never approach Biden's
- 48:33Speaker 2: record of whatever. It was three thirty five hundred pardons,
- 48:37Speaker 2: and those were horrible. Those were like drug dealers, murderers, everything.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how you doing.
- 48:44Speaker 15: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Vincent, good morning, Mararack.
- 48:47Speaker 2: The morning.
- 48:47Speaker 15: My question I have for you. Rudy Giuliani had a
- 48:50Speaker 15: similar problem, as I recall, after he lost the Dinkins
- 48:54Speaker 15: the first time and he was playing to run again.
- 48:56Speaker 15: Many many people said, don't even think about it. Of
- 48:59Speaker 15: course New York City, he's a democratic city.
- 49:01Speaker 2: You're foolish.
- 49:01Speaker 15: Their month is in a similar situation here with people
- 49:04Speaker 15: saying yeah, and it's.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Another uh good point. Is Rudy in that race, he
- 49:09Speaker 2: underpolled like crazy. The polls never showed him ahead, never
- 49:14Speaker 2: he underpolled. Curtis may have the same problem. You got
- 49:17Speaker 2: to remember, as crazy as it sounds, Republicans have won
- 49:21Speaker 2: five of the last eight mayoral races, five of the
- 49:25Speaker 2: last eight. I know you could argue, well, Bloomberg spent
- 49:29Speaker 2: a million, one hundred million of his own Yeah, okay,
- 49:31Speaker 2: but they still won five of the last eight. Let's
- 49:34Speaker 2: go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 49:36Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Joel, Good morning Matra. Mark.
- 49:40Speaker 5: I believe Trump is right and part of the Pete
- 49:43Speaker 5: Diddy and he is the reason why for what. Got
- 49:46Speaker 5: to remember, Pete Diddy already spent a year and a
- 49:49Speaker 5: half in the joint. I most I was even telling
- 49:53Speaker 5: friends let him out by Christmas. Then he would have
- 49:56Speaker 5: served almost two years. And for what he was convicted
- 50:00Speaker 5: convicted of, he wasn't convicted of the top chargers and
- 50:04Speaker 5: put him on probation for another five years. And that'll
- 50:08Speaker 5: put the kebash on him on Pete Diddy for a while. Uh, Mark,
- 50:14Speaker 5: The other day, I was called by a Teamsters union official,
- 50:21Speaker 5: union official in New York.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Oh something about the project.
- 50:26Speaker 5: Well anyway, Mark, Uh, I don't know. I know CMO
- 50:31Speaker 5: stands out there with the with the Electricians union, and
- 50:35Speaker 5: this not the Teamsters, the Teamsters. Uh going. This guy
- 50:41Speaker 5: told me this union boss he's going with with Curtis,
- 50:45Speaker 5: and he's given money to Curtis and at least Stephonic
- 50:50Speaker 5: and uh. You know, I don't know how much sway
- 50:53Speaker 5: these people have anymore. But the Teamsters are more regular guys.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Those the people were, Yeah, they.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Have no sway at all. You know, Clomo sounds a
- 51:02Speaker 2: little silly. The plumbers union has endorsed me. I love plumbers,
- 51:06Speaker 2: They're great people. I don't ask him who to vote for.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Nobody wants a plumber's opinion on who to vote for.
- 51:10Speaker 2: It's like asking Cuomo, what pipe do you use? I mean,
- 51:12Speaker 2: why would you do?
- 51:14Speaker 5: You know? As if everybody's worried about this guy Mondami.
- 51:19Speaker 5: He's a nut job, he's a Kami, he's a Jew
- 51:22Speaker 5: hater and this and that. But I would tell them
- 51:25Speaker 5: some friends, I'm gonna treat this Mondami. God forbid he
- 51:29Speaker 5: gets elected. I'm going to treat his policies like I
- 51:32Speaker 5: treated build the Blasio's policies. I'm gonna I notice like
- 51:38Speaker 5: I own real estate, I own commercial residential vialits. Who
- 51:42Speaker 5: were the liberals who voted for these nutjobs? And you're
- 51:46Speaker 5: going to be the first ones that I'm going to
- 51:47Speaker 5: raise the rent.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Saw All right, Vincent, great call, Thanks for calling. Hey, Will,
- 51:53Speaker 2: we'll talk to Howie Carr will be with us next
- 51:56Speaker 2: lots to talk to him about on seven to ten
- 51:58Speaker 2: w R Mark.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Simone show continues, Yeah, you are.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Well.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Howie Carr one of the great talk show hosts in America.
- 52:09Speaker 2: You should check out his website, howiecarshow dot com. You
- 52:12Speaker 2: can hear his show on iHeart. You can get his
- 52:14Speaker 2: podcast there, or you can get his book as columns.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Everything the radio show is at Howie carrsshow dot com.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Howie Carr how you doing very good?
- 52:25Speaker 10: I'm doing I'm doing better than the staff of sixty minutes.
- 52:28Speaker 10: I guess after they get the dressing down from Barry Weiss.
- 52:32Speaker 10: I love that story, but she.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Asked the logical questions. She said to them, well then
- 52:38Speaker 2: why does everybody think you so biased? It's a good question, and.
- 52:42Speaker 10: Right, yeah, right, and you know, I love the fact
- 52:44Speaker 10: too that they say, you know, she has no TV experience?
- 52:49Speaker 10: Well what George Stephanopoulos, f Chuck Todd, you know, all
- 52:56Speaker 10: all of these people, I mean, did they did any
- 52:58Speaker 10: of them have any Jake Happer, did any of them
- 53:01Speaker 10: have any experience? They were just you know, they were
- 53:04Speaker 10: just code holders on Capitol Hill for sleezy Democrats, and
- 53:07Speaker 10: that's all the experience they needed. Now now there's sticklers
- 53:12Speaker 10: for on the job training. Come on, who's kidding?
- 53:16Speaker 2: Who do you remember? Sixty Minutes was the number one
- 53:19Speaker 2: show in television at sixty million viewers. Now it's like
- 53:23Speaker 2: two million maybe, and it's in right.
- 53:25Speaker 10: Well, they're still saying, they're still saying, you know, well,
- 53:27Speaker 10: what's the number one news show on the networks. But
- 53:30Speaker 10: that tells you all you need to know, because, like
- 53:32Speaker 10: you say, there's nobody. Nobody's watching it, you know. Especially
- 53:36Speaker 10: the worst thing for sixty Minutes is if there's a
- 53:37Speaker 10: blowout in the late late CBS game on the NFL
- 53:42Speaker 10: or the fall, then they then they're probably in the
- 53:44Speaker 10: six figure territory, you know. They it's just it's really something.
- 53:49Speaker 10: I'm glad she's doing this. I really hope she's making
- 53:52Speaker 10: them jump. And now I guess they're going to start
- 53:54Speaker 10: announcing the layoffs this very shortly paramount. Yeah, you know,
- 53:59Speaker 10: lay them all off. You know, as as one of
- 54:02Speaker 10: the managers used to say, you know, when they were
- 54:05Speaker 10: trying to sign some some star baseball player, we finished
- 54:08Speaker 10: last with you. We can finish last without you. I
- 54:12Speaker 10: think I think that sums up everybody at CBS News,
- 54:15Speaker 10: doesn't it.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Hey, Haley Carr watching this No Kings, it looked like
- 54:20Speaker 2: Halloween at the Senior Center. I mean there's a lot
- 54:23Speaker 2: of old people there. What did you think of that?
- 54:26Speaker 5: It was?
- 54:26Speaker 10: It was really pitiful. I mean we you know, if
- 54:28Speaker 10: you if you drive around the suburbs, especially in the Northeast,
- 54:31Speaker 10: all summer long, they've been they've been kind of like
- 54:34Speaker 10: doing these uh these dress rehearsals. You know, they go
- 54:37Speaker 10: out on uh you know, on Saturdays, at at the
- 54:40Speaker 10: rotaries and at the overpasses, and they've been holding up
- 54:44Speaker 10: these signs and you know, they've they've all they've all
- 54:47Speaker 10: got walkers and kings and hand lettered signs, and it's
- 54:51Speaker 10: just that it's you know, they used to be a
- 54:53Speaker 10: Boston City councilor when they see old people doing stuff
- 54:56Speaker 10: like this. It always say they ought to be home
- 54:58Speaker 10: praying for a happy death. And every time I would
- 55:01Speaker 10: see them on TV, I was just thinking about that.
- 55:04Speaker 10: You know, they're they're they're round and third they're at
- 55:07Speaker 10: the checkout county to use some moral cliches, I mean,
- 55:09Speaker 10: they're just it was it was just sad and they
- 55:12Speaker 10: didn't even know what they were talking about. They have
- 55:15Speaker 10: no clue. I mean, what exactly is there is their complaint?
- 55:18Speaker 10: You know, they're how about the fact I loved when
- 55:22Speaker 10: Wasabe War of the Fake Indians put out. We're very
- 55:24Speaker 10: familiar with this in Boston, have been since the Key
- 55:27Speaker 10: Party in seventeen seventeen seventy three, and somebody and immediately,
- 55:31Speaker 10: like dozens of people tweeted back at her. Yeah, they
- 55:35Speaker 10: were faking being Indians, just like you, you know. I mean,
- 55:39Speaker 10: they have no self awareness, no realization. And the and
- 55:43Speaker 10: they're accusing Trump of shutting down free speech is there
- 55:47Speaker 10: as they're marching around making rulves of themselves, he's saying
- 55:51Speaker 10: he's going to shut down the media. You know, after
- 55:53Speaker 10: they after they canceled thousands of us on social media,
- 55:58Speaker 10: you know, for talking about COVID, you know, and now
- 56:03Speaker 10: they're accusing trial they accused. It's classic projection is as
- 56:07Speaker 10: always with these people, you know, they they accuse us
- 56:10Speaker 10: of doing to them what they did to us. You know,
- 56:15Speaker 10: only the difference is we didn't do.
- 56:17Speaker 5: It to them.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Hey, Howie Carr's got a great new book, mass Corruption. Uh.
- 56:22Speaker 2: You know, we think of Boston, We just think of
- 56:24Speaker 2: this peaceful, little sleepy town. But you've got more stuff
- 56:27Speaker 2: going on in that place, Boston than How did it
- 56:31Speaker 2: ever get so bad? There? Was it always that way?
- 56:34Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 56:36Speaker 10: They just fired this this state trooper that he was fired,
- 56:40Speaker 10: and he just gave up his appeal because he's they've
- 56:43Speaker 10: got so much other dirt on him with his text messages.
- 56:47Speaker 10: His name is Proctor, and the irony is there was
- 56:51Speaker 10: a Proctor in the Salem witch trials who was hanged
- 56:53Speaker 10: as a witch. You think this the family would have
- 56:56Speaker 10: taken the hint, you know, But then then another Proctor
- 57:01Speaker 10: was involved in framing Socco and von Zetti back in
- 57:04Speaker 10: nineteen twenty five, and you know, they still didn't take
- 57:09Speaker 10: the end when he got busted for that. So you know,
- 57:12Speaker 10: I mean, maybe this guy's going to leave now.
- 57:14Speaker 13: But you're right.
- 57:14Speaker 10: I mean, there's just this amazing run of corruption in
- 57:18Speaker 10: Massachusetts and it's just, you know, people being framed, people
- 57:21Speaker 10: being framed by the FBI. Muller was involved in a
- 57:24Speaker 10: big frame up of four people. I mean didn't he
- 57:28Speaker 10: didn't stop it, and he tried to cover it up
- 57:30Speaker 10: as FBI director. He was the US attorney And Robert Muller.
- 57:34Speaker 10: I know, people are going, who Muller, who's Muller? How
- 57:37Speaker 10: soon we forget he's how soon he forgets too? He
- 57:41Speaker 10: will he will not be testifying in the upcoming Epstein
- 57:44Speaker 10: trials because he's in an assisted living facility where Joe
- 57:48Speaker 10: Biden belongs. But you know, I mean, it goes all
- 57:52Speaker 10: the way back. It's just it's just so bad for
- 57:55Speaker 10: people being framed at state, local levels. They just let
- 57:59Speaker 10: a Chinese American woman out of prison. They convicted her
- 58:04Speaker 10: of setting her house on fire and killing both her
- 58:07Speaker 10: parents when she was eighteen. Twenty two years later, she's
- 58:11Speaker 10: forty years old, never been outside of prison. They discovered
- 58:14Speaker 10: she didn't do it. It's just happening over and over again.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and resked you you're not a Blue Bloods fan,
- 58:21Speaker 2: are you? What Blue Blood's the TV show.
- 58:26Speaker 10: Oh no, no, because they met you ask me if
- 58:28Speaker 10: I was a fan. I'm not a fan of Blue
- 58:29Speaker 10: Bloods period either. You know, they never treated me very well.
- 58:34Speaker 15: Mark I.
- 58:34Speaker 10: Somehow I've never been able to pass for one of them,
- 58:37Speaker 10: even though I've spent a lot of time with them.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Oh, I just mentioned because the sequel and has now moved,
- 58:42Speaker 2: it's called Boston Blue. It's it's tough for us in
- 58:44Speaker 2: New Yorkers to watch cops with Boston accents. It doesn't.
- 58:48Speaker 2: It's it's strange to us.
- 58:50Speaker 10: Yeah, people had trouble with Boston accents. You know, it's
- 58:54Speaker 10: I think you're a well advised not to attempt it.
- 58:57Speaker 10: You know, she will have a natural The only guy
- 59:00Speaker 10: who ever pulled it off, I think was Robert Mitcham
- 59:02Speaker 10: and the friends of Eddie Coyle.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, hey mar Lago. President Trump first time there
- 59:09Speaker 2: in a long time. He went there this past weekend.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Does that mean that?
- 59:12Speaker 10: Yeah, the season starts early, that's what everybody's saying. You know,
- 59:15Speaker 10: usually usually it waits the first the first big night
- 59:18Speaker 10: is is Halloween. That's when it opens. I mean that's
- 59:22Speaker 10: a lot earlier than the season used to begin at
- 59:24Speaker 10: bomb Beach. But yeah, he came, he came back. I
- 59:26Speaker 10: think he had a giant fundraiser, oh on Friday night.
- 59:30Speaker 10: I think that's I think that's one of the main
- 59:32Speaker 10: reasons he was back. I also think he didn't want to,
- 59:35Speaker 10: you know, be there when when the geriatric U no
- 59:41Speaker 10: no Kings, Yeah they I don't think he had as
- 59:44Speaker 10: much to worry about as he did when the Black
- 59:46Speaker 10: Lives Matter mobs tried to burn down the White House
- 59:50Speaker 10: and the Episcopal church next next across the street in
- 59:53Speaker 10: twenty twenty. But you know, it's still it's still will
- 59:56Speaker 10: look embarrassing. I think it was a good move for
- 59:58Speaker 10: him to get out of town for the for the weekend.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: She played around, played around the golf on Saturday morning,
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: tied up the traffic, you know, but no one, no
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: one grudged him that. And then you saw that little
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: that hunting stand that was that was very weird at
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: the airport. Yeah, there are any deer in Bombach out
- 1:00:16Speaker 10: of here at least I've never seen any.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Yeah, very very good point. Yeah, it's just awful. Well,
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: everybody get Howie Carr's latest book. It's called mass Corruption,
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: and uh just tell her very quickly what the book
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: is about, because it's it's a fact.
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: Yeah, it's just about it's just about all the corruption
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: there has been. This trial. They tried to frame a woman.
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: They tried to frame her twice and just outside of
- 1:00:38Speaker 10: Boston for a murder she didn't commit and obviously didn't commit.
- 1:00:41Speaker 10: The FBI had, actually the FBI believe it or not,
- 1:00:44Speaker 10: had to get involved to get her out of it.
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: And there have been a bunch of cover ups and uh,
- 1:00:49Speaker 10: you know murders that were rural suicides. And the mass
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: State police have been very corrupted. I've got all this
- 1:00:55Speaker 10: stuff that they were fake. They take tens of thousands
- 1:00:57Speaker 10: of drug tests to frame people. It's just a horrible
- 1:01:00Speaker 10: case of corruption. I laid it. I laid it all out.
- 1:01:03Speaker 10: Use a lot of my old calls. You can you
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: could order the book now at HOWI carshow dot com

- 1:02:18Speaker 2: wing all the way over there, bulldozers demolition, they're smashing
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: up the wall. They've taken down the wall, they're gutting it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: That's where they're going to build the brand new ballroom.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: President Trump's going to build a huge ballroom. And now,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: thank god it's President Trump, the master builder. If this
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: was the government, this would be a fifteen year project.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: He'll get it done in probably a couple of months.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: The East Room of the White House is where they
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: have events. It can only hold two hundred. This new

- 1:02:50Speaker 2: be magnificent at construction already underway. Watch it'll happen very
