- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable Advice Shot. Hello, Hello, welcome to the Naughty but
- 0:16Speaker 1: Night Show. I'm your host, Rob Shoot, So joining us
- 0:18Speaker 1: every Thursday is our friend Mark Loopo Loopy Are you there? Hello, Rob,
- 0:23Speaker 1: Hello Loopy Looser. You've got a little bit of press
- 0:26Speaker 1: this week. I saw I sure did shout out to
- 0:29Speaker 1: my friends at pop style tv dot com. They wrote
- 0:33Speaker 1: an awesome feature about my career and what's going on
- 0:36Speaker 1: in the pandemic. So if you have a chance, please
- 0:38Speaker 1: check it out and thank you for sharing Rob on
- 0:40Speaker 1: your Facebook page. It's really lovely. I noticed there was
- 0:43Speaker 1: one person, though, missing from the story, a big part
- 0:47Speaker 1: of your life. That's all right. I'm sorry I didn't
- 0:50Speaker 1: make it good time, but hopefully if there's more to
- 0:53Speaker 1: come will be included. Edited out edit. Market says you're
- 0:58Speaker 1: on a very successful I Heart podcast. Are har It
- 1:02Speaker 1: didn't name the name of their fabulous creator Monster All good.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Congratulations Markets really lovely. Talking about prayers on Monday, I'm
- 1:12Speaker 1: back on the Wendy Williams Show. Mark, you used to
- 1:15Speaker 1: be a big producer over at the Wendy Show. What's
- 1:17Speaker 1: your advice? What's your advice? What do you tell people
- 1:19Speaker 1: before they sit down with Wendy. My advice to you,
- 1:22Speaker 1: Rob and to anyone who's on the Wendy Show is
- 1:24Speaker 1: know your stories. Look at all the details, because Wendy
- 1:28Speaker 1: will will ask you questions and you were not ready
- 1:30Speaker 1: for and it might throw you off. I know you're
- 1:32Speaker 1: a professional and I you're all my favorite people have
- 1:35Speaker 1: in a book on the show, but you know, can't prepared,
- 1:38Speaker 1: come ready to play. I pretend I'm back at school
- 1:41Speaker 1: and I've got an exam on Monday morning. I think
- 1:43Speaker 1: at ten o'clock. She is live at ten, So I
- 1:45Speaker 1: pretend I'm going to an exam. So I cram on
- 1:48Speaker 1: Saturday and Sunday, and then I get up early Monday
- 1:51Speaker 1: and I rehearse again. I know they give you the
- 1:54Speaker 1: topics ahead of time, so all TV shows do do this.
- 1:56Speaker 1: That's not exceptional. But Wendy is so brilliant at this.
- 1:59Speaker 1: She's such a gossip girl. She loves loves details. She'll
- 2:04Speaker 1: ask you something, so you better know everything. To sit
- 2:07Speaker 1: next to Reddy Williams, don't worry. I won't let the
- 2:09Speaker 1: naughties down. Hey, Mark, what time is it? It is
- 2:13Speaker 1: tea time big exclusive at the top of the show.
- 2:17Speaker 1: So my Kanye West sources are telling me he's about
- 2:20Speaker 1: to reveal all about the car Dashian Zoo. Let me explain.
- 2:24Speaker 1: So as this marriage continues to fall apart, insiders are
- 2:28Speaker 1: telling me he is willing to do whatever it takes
- 2:31Speaker 1: to make sure he gets custody, not full custody, but
- 2:34Speaker 1: he wants fifty fifty with those kids. And if that
- 2:37Speaker 1: means revealing all about Kim and her notorious family, so
- 2:41Speaker 1: be it. Source has said the following quote, Kanye is
- 2:44Speaker 1: sick of Kim and her family. He's been sick of
- 2:47Speaker 1: them for a long time. Can you imagine that having
- 2:50Speaker 1: Chris Jenna as your mother in law. So he knows
- 2:55Speaker 1: everything about the family. He knows how hard they fight
- 2:58Speaker 1: to get what they want. They do. But if the
- 3:00Speaker 1: family thinks he's going to walk away without those children,
- 3:03Speaker 1: they are mistaken. The Kardashians know how to play dirty,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and he knows a lot about them, so if they
- 3:09Speaker 1: want to go down that road, he will. How ugly
- 3:13Speaker 1: is this gonna get Mark? You know, Rob, I think
- 3:17Speaker 1: the Kardashians have a major problem on their hands. And
- 3:20Speaker 1: it's not a matter of if. It's a matter of when.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The sticking time bomb is going to explode. Kanye is.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We saw him in the summer. He was just out
- 3:29Speaker 1: of control on Twitter revealing all the family's dirty details.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And Chris, you know, is swimming right now. She is
- 3:36Speaker 1: freaking out behind the scenes. Oh, I love this gossip.
- 3:39Speaker 1: He's a loose cannon, Mark, So when he's in the family,
- 3:42Speaker 1: he's naught. Can you imagine if he feels like he
- 3:46Speaker 1: has got a grudge. Can you imagine if he's got
- 3:48Speaker 1: an ax to grind. So we've seen Kanye be pretty wild.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Let me remind you while he's still in the marriage.
- 3:56Speaker 1: This is gonna get absolutely out ray just and there's Kardashians.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I do love them, and we know they love to fight,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and we know they played dirty. I think their manner
- 4:06Speaker 1: met their match because he's more unpredictable than them. Not
- 4:10Speaker 1: not only that, but he also has a ton of money.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Like they can't shut him up with money because he
- 4:14Speaker 1: has more money than they do. Goodness, Mark, this is
- 4:18Speaker 1: going to be wild, which brings us to our pole
- 4:21Speaker 1: question of the day. Kanye will tell all? He's ready
- 4:24Speaker 1: to tell all? Should he do it? Should Kanye reveal all?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Go vote? And I know the answer. We want to
- 4:31Speaker 1: hear everything I know the answer already, but don't let
- 4:34Speaker 1: me influence the vote. Go and vote on our Twitter
- 4:37Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice Robber. At Facebook page is Naughty Gossip.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Leave a comment there and be sure to check back
- 4:43Speaker 1: tomorrow Friday for your results. Smart Love, what are you
- 4:46Speaker 1: working on? Speaking of messy relationship situations, let's talk about
- 4:51Speaker 1: Harry Styles and Jason Studigas. Please. So Harry Styles and
- 4:55Speaker 1: Jason Sudigas might come to an awkward face to facing
- 5:00Speaker 1: counter while they film their new projects. Let me explain
- 5:03Speaker 1: how this, how this potentially might go down. Okay, So
- 5:05Speaker 1: Harry Styles is jetting off to London to work on
- 5:08Speaker 1: a new movie where he may be shooting at the
- 5:11Speaker 1: same studios where Jason sudeikis his base for his Apple
- 5:14Speaker 1: TV sitcom ted LASO. I know, sloppy, Okay. So sources
- 5:19Speaker 1: are telling the Sun that Harry is appearing in this
- 5:22Speaker 1: big new movie. It's called My Policeman and it's a
- 5:25Speaker 1: big production back by Amazon based on a very successful book.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So there's high hopes for it. But the filming process
- 5:31Speaker 1: could prove awkward because the bosses are trying to secure
- 5:35Speaker 1: a studio space at the same complex where Olivia's X
- 5:39Speaker 1: where Olivia's X Jason is working too, so if they
- 5:42Speaker 1: both share the same complex, it might just be uncomfortable.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Rob here's my thing though. Okay, so I'm looking at
- 5:49Speaker 1: Olivia right now because Olivia and Jason they have two
- 5:52Speaker 1: kids together, two young kids. I think this is on
- 5:55Speaker 1: Olivia to sit down with Jason and Harry and have
- 5:58Speaker 1: a you know, hatch a plan, like, let's all meet,
- 6:01Speaker 1: let's handle this like a grown adults. Although I do
- 6:03Speaker 1: feel like Harry is a drive by. I don't think
- 6:06Speaker 1: he'll be here for a while. I think it's kind
- 6:08Speaker 1: of just a little bit of fun for Olivia and
- 6:09Speaker 1: then you know, TBD to the next thing. What do
- 6:12Speaker 1: you think? I'm working on a story about this right now.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So I'm told that Harry and Jason have already spoke.
- 6:20Speaker 1: They've already spoken on the phone, and it's because of
- 6:23Speaker 1: the children. So Jason is very much, very much involved
- 6:26Speaker 1: in his children's lives. And if you want to date Olivia,
- 6:30Speaker 1: you're also dating those two kids. It's a package. So
- 6:33Speaker 1: they have spoke, they've not met. It's so interesting because
- 6:37Speaker 1: I know this complex in London. London is not like Hollywood.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It doesn't have many studios, so it sounds a bit
- 6:44Speaker 1: suspicious at first, doesn't it that they're going to be
- 6:46Speaker 1: at the same place. But there really isn't that many places.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And the reason they shoot in London is a lot
- 6:52Speaker 1: of tax breaks, so it's all money, so they're going
- 6:54Speaker 1: to shoot in London to get the tax breaks. But
- 6:57Speaker 1: if you do go to London, it doesn't have a
- 6:59Speaker 1: hundred studio. I think it's got like two. And if
- 7:02Speaker 1: you're really a list and you want to be top
- 7:04Speaker 1: of the game, there's only really like one and a
- 7:06Speaker 1: half really fancy studios. So it's where they do the
- 7:10Speaker 1: Bond movies. It's where they I think they just did
- 7:13Speaker 1: Jurassic Park there, so it's a fantastic state of the
- 7:16Speaker 1: art facilities. It's the same with podcasting and radio shows.
- 7:20Speaker 1: There's a lot of radio places in New York. There's
- 7:23Speaker 1: a lot of studios. Before the pandemic Mark we were
- 7:25Speaker 1: heading downtown to iHeart, Oh my goodness, that building. It's fabulous.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But in London there's not quite as many. It's not
- 7:32Speaker 1: quite as big. When it comes to TV and film,
- 7:34Speaker 1: it's even less. So I think these two better start
- 7:37Speaker 1: talking now. And if Harry is not a fly by.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I'm told she's in love. I'm told she is so
- 7:43Speaker 1: in love with him. I hope he is too. I
- 7:45Speaker 1: hope so. I'm I'm rooting for them here, especially with
- 7:49Speaker 1: kids involved. If Harry is going to be serious, then
- 7:52Speaker 1: this family has to figure it out because with the
- 7:54Speaker 1: kids involved, Jason will always be in their lives. Moving on.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Talking about love, elenor general, She's saying Porscha is her rock.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So they sat down with People magazine for their Love
- 8:05Speaker 1: is Sure, and she said her heart was broken when
- 8:08Speaker 1: all that scandal broke over the summer about the toxic
- 8:11Speaker 1: work environment. She said. Ellen said, I couldn't have gone
- 8:14Speaker 1: through all of this without her. It was a horrible
- 8:18Speaker 1: time in my life, and she was my rock. She
- 8:21Speaker 1: kept me going and tried to help me put everything
- 8:24Speaker 1: into perspective. The two got married in August two thousand
- 8:28Speaker 1: and eight. At the moment, I'm still angry with Ellen.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I've got to be honest, I think I might have
- 8:33Speaker 1: changed my opinion of Ellen a little bit, not totally.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I'm still watching, but I'm not quite as into her.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Do you have to? Should you support your significant other
- 8:43Speaker 1: even when you know they might be wrong, But I
- 8:47Speaker 1: can tell you this. I have had some very well
- 8:50Speaker 1: appointed arms horces and I've known them for years, and
- 8:53Speaker 1: the one thing that they all agree on and they've
- 8:55Speaker 1: always told me, is that the one person Ellen treats
- 8:58Speaker 1: like gold that she cares about the most is her wife.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So I'm not surprised at all about this cover story.
- 9:05Speaker 1: What I will tell you, though, Rob, is that I
- 9:07Speaker 1: took a peep on People magazine dot com to read
- 9:10Speaker 1: the comments about what's going on with these two. It
- 9:13Speaker 1: was brutal, Like, I don't know that we're ready for
- 9:15Speaker 1: to hear about these two right now. I know Ellen
- 9:17Speaker 1: had a hard time, but I don't think people are
- 9:19Speaker 1: totally ready to forgive her. I don't know if she
- 9:21Speaker 1: really apologized the way we needed, and so I think
- 9:25Speaker 1: Ellen will really need that rock for a long time
- 9:28Speaker 1: to come. It's so interesting because a form of publicist,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I looked at this the same way that you did, Mark.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Is this too soon to just paint this beautiful, rosy
- 9:37Speaker 1: love story? Like is it just a little bit too quick?
- 9:41Speaker 1: Are you moving on a little too fast? I feel
- 9:43Speaker 1: my gears change in my mind just a little bit
- 9:46Speaker 1: too aggressively. It feels to me like they want to
- 9:48Speaker 1: just pretend turn the page that none of that stuff happened,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and now we want to just talk about, Oh, aren't
- 9:54Speaker 1: they in love? I would have recommended Ellen laid low
- 9:58Speaker 1: for a little long but exactly just I don't know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: don't push my nose, and how brilliant your life is.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Don't tell me how in love you are. Yeah, you
- 10:08Speaker 1: know what's awesome. It's a slow news time. There's not
- 10:10Speaker 1: a lot going on. I get that People Magazine took
- 10:13Speaker 1: advantage of this moment, but I don't know that I
- 10:15Speaker 1: would go and buy a six dollar magazine with Ellen
- 10:17Speaker 1: on the cover. I don't think that's kind of supportable.
- 10:19Speaker 1: They edge their bets. People Magazine also did two other covers,
- 10:22Speaker 1: al Roker and somebody else. So when magazine split cover
- 10:26Speaker 1: was when they put out two or three covers in
- 10:28Speaker 1: the same week. It's because they don't have total confidence.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I know when I was at the magazine's if I
- 10:35Speaker 1: didn't think a cover would sell, I could split up
- 10:39Speaker 1: covers so in different states you could get a different issue,
- 10:42Speaker 1: so the Red States could get a different issue than
- 10:44Speaker 1: the Blue States. It was really interesting that you can
- 10:47Speaker 1: split a cover and you do that, I promise you,
- 10:50Speaker 1: when you don't have total confidence, I'll see how this does.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'll give you the numbers next week. Moving on, what's
- 10:57Speaker 1: happening with Mr Ryan Seacrest. I love him me too,
- 11:00Speaker 1: so Ryan's secrecy, of course, love from Kelly and Ryan.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He unexpectedly changed up his look on Monday's episode, and
- 11:09Speaker 1: fans have gone crazy. So according to comments left on
- 11:13Speaker 1: the behind the scenes video of Ryan and Kelly, viewers
- 11:16Speaker 1: at home are totally digging his new look, which he
- 11:20Speaker 1: just put on these really really sophisticated, cute spectacles and
- 11:23Speaker 1: they think it looks really nice with his suit and
- 11:25Speaker 1: his white collared shirt and his little sweater ensemble. Rob
- 11:29Speaker 1: I can tell you this. I interviewed Ryan Seacrest on
- 11:31Speaker 1: top of the forty two street in Times Square, like
- 11:35Speaker 1: on top of the Big Ball for New York, and
- 11:38Speaker 1: I was just like inches away from him. His skin
- 11:41Speaker 1: is flawless, his hair is you know, glowing glossy. His
- 11:44Speaker 1: teeth are perfectly way. He could puff any look because
- 11:47Speaker 1: he's such a handsome. He is a manicured man. You know,
- 11:50Speaker 1: he is a handsome man. I was I think too,
- 11:52Speaker 1: what we think about glasses have changed now there's so
- 11:55Speaker 1: many stylish glasses. I get mine from Woolby Parker and
- 11:58Speaker 1: then not that expensive. But it is to be really
- 12:00Speaker 1: expensive to get a really sheet pair of glasses. I
- 12:03Speaker 1: think now when I see somebody in glasses, it's like
- 12:05Speaker 1: having a great handbag or a great accessory. Do you
- 12:08Speaker 1: wear glasses, Mark, I don't wear glasses. I don't need
- 12:11Speaker 1: them for reading, but I would like to buy them
- 12:13Speaker 1: just for fun, like this a smarter look at so
- 12:16Speaker 1: you could pretend to a Hilaria Bold. I've started wearing
- 12:22Speaker 1: glasses more often, so my eyes now are not as
- 12:25Speaker 1: good as they used to be. So I used to
- 12:27Speaker 1: wear them maybe ten percent. Now probably about twenty or
- 12:30Speaker 1: thirty percent. And I did resist it at first. I thought,
- 12:33Speaker 1: oh gosh, they're gonna make me look old. I love them.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I'm I'm quite comfortable wearing them. While we're talking about Ryan,
- 12:39Speaker 1: let me tell a little Ryan's story too. I had
- 12:41Speaker 1: dinner with him. I had dinner with him in l A.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It was me, Ryan and Ashley Simpson, who and he
- 12:47Speaker 1: was wearing really low rising jeans and when he sat
- 12:51Speaker 1: down you could see his bottom. And I don't think
- 12:54Speaker 1: he was wearing underwear that's all I remember about the dinner.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I remember him sitting down before me, and I remember
- 13:01Speaker 1: I could see the way the chairs were, you could
- 13:02Speaker 1: see down the back, and I saw right down the
- 13:05Speaker 1: back of his jeans. I know what a surprise for you.
- 13:09Speaker 1: And I don't think there was underwear, right if you're
- 13:12Speaker 1: listening alone, But he is very, very the skin, flawless, flawless.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Before we got a break, Lisa Renna is calling out
- 13:20Speaker 1: critics of her daughter. So Lisa's daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin,
- 13:26Speaker 1: shared some really racy pictures. She's nineteen years old, she's
- 13:29Speaker 1: in lingerie. Basically, she's half naked. She put them up.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Nobody forced her to put them up. It was her idea.
- 13:34Speaker 1: She thinks she looks great. Good for her, and the
- 13:36Speaker 1: haters came after her. Some of them even asked, do
- 13:39Speaker 1: you know what your teenage daughter is presenting to us?
- 13:42Speaker 1: Lisa went berserk, obviously defended her daughter. But don't you think, Mark,
- 13:47Speaker 1: if you're going to put up pictures of you in
- 13:49Speaker 1: your underwear, you know it's gonna be controversial. You're gonna
- 13:52Speaker 1: get some mean comments. Don't you know that's coming? Of
- 13:56Speaker 1: course they know this rob the one thing that Lisa
- 13:58Speaker 1: has always been honest about with us is that she
- 14:01Speaker 1: wanted fame, she wanted the attention, and I think there
- 14:03Speaker 1: are consequences that come with that lifestyle, including your kids
- 14:06Speaker 1: then wanting that same thing and doing provocative things to
- 14:09Speaker 1: get attention. So I'm not surprised by this, but you know,
- 14:13Speaker 1: I just I hope I want more for them. I
- 14:15Speaker 1: want more for re Lisa. I used to represent Lisarenda.
- 14:18Speaker 1: She was one of my favorite clients, and you're right,
- 14:20Speaker 1: she was totally honest. She wanted to be famous, and
- 14:22Speaker 1: she didn't care if she was famous from being a
- 14:24Speaker 1: chef or an actress, or a reality star or an
- 14:27Speaker 1: Olympic swimmer, whatever it's gonna take. Lisa Renner enjoys being
- 14:31Speaker 1: in a start and I enjoy her honesty around that.
- 14:34Speaker 1: A lot of people, like the bethan Is, are like, oh,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I don't want to be famous, or no, I'm just
- 14:38Speaker 1: a shy little country girl. No, you all want to
- 14:41Speaker 1: be super famous. Lisa tells you she does. Lisa also
- 14:45Speaker 1: knows better than anybody a naughty picture is going to
- 14:48Speaker 1: get your attention, so particularly with girls, and when you're
- 14:51Speaker 1: as gorgeous as Lisa and the daughters. When you put
- 14:54Speaker 1: up bikini pictures of underwear pictures, you know what you're doing.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And then to shock, shock, outrage that people are not nice.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't know you know exactly what you're up to.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I know, your little little devils, the two of you. Hey,
- 15:07Speaker 1: we're going to take a little break here and we
- 15:10Speaker 1: will be right back. Welcome back to them. Not even sell.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I'm rob sharing it with our friend Mark Lupo loopy.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Let's get to the poles. Dot do don't very official? Mark?
- 15:24Speaker 1: What instrument did you play? I always forget the viola
- 15:26Speaker 1: of the viola. Yeah, it's not a sexy instrument. No,
- 15:29Speaker 1: it's and mess the violence like a skinny version of
- 15:32Speaker 1: the viola. It's like I'm like the chubby fat like
- 15:35Speaker 1: it's like a fat violin, isn't it? That's not desirable?
- 15:39Speaker 1: But you got it for free. But I got it
- 15:42Speaker 1: for free and I played it as best I could.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Could you still pick up a viola today and maybe
- 15:46Speaker 1: play a few bars? Or no, oh, my friend's cat died.
- 15:49Speaker 1: We brought it out out of out of the archives
- 15:52Speaker 1: and I put a song for the cats. It's a
- 15:54Speaker 1: very specific story. Marks. Whenever there's a cat or an
- 15:57Speaker 1: animal passes away, goes to heaven. Mark will palladis viola.
- 16:04Speaker 1: But yeah, let's get to the polls. Yesterday we talked
- 16:07Speaker 1: about but it is to be as his boyfriend Sam
- 16:10Speaker 1: slamming her father. Will this help or will it hurt?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Fifty said, it's actually going to hurt. Her. Dad's not
- 16:17Speaker 1: going anywhere. He's still the conservator, So the dad still
- 16:20Speaker 1: has an enormous amount of power. Does it ever help, though,
- 16:23Speaker 1: let's make it about us. Does it ever help for
- 16:26Speaker 1: somebody you're dating to tell you Mark, your mom or
- 16:29Speaker 1: your dad is the D word? No. I think it
- 16:32Speaker 1: makes me very upset and offended. And you know, I
- 16:35Speaker 1: think the situation is extremely complicated. We don't know of
- 16:38Speaker 1: it intricacies of what's going on behind the scenes. But um,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know, I like Sam. I think he's a nice guy.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I didn't need to hear him call Brittany's have a
- 16:46Speaker 1: D word. But you know, I get it, he's upset,
- 16:49Speaker 1: he's frustrated. I get it too, But I just don't
- 16:51Speaker 1: think this is going to help you, Sam, because the dad,
- 16:54Speaker 1: like I said, isn't going anywhere. And now if Brittany
- 16:57Speaker 1: and a dad do make up if they get a
- 16:59Speaker 1: new conservator or can you imagine going to Christmas dinner.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I know it's gonna be very awkward, Like you do word,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I mean, it's just and it's the other living two
- 17:07Speaker 1: and I think this is so interesting. Maybe we all agree.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I can call my dad names, but you can't. I
- 17:12Speaker 1: can call my brother Douglas names, you can't. It's like Mark,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I would never say what I love that more than you.
- 17:19Speaker 1: But Doris. I would never call Doris a name. But
- 17:22Speaker 1: if somebody called my mom and name, even if it
- 17:24Speaker 1: was true, I wouldn't like it. I wouldn't. I wouldn't
- 17:27Speaker 1: like it at all. Of course, not because you're that's
- 17:29Speaker 1: a normal reaction. It's her parents, it's her parents, it's
- 17:32Speaker 1: a parents. So we agree with the majority here. Hey,
- 17:34Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's pole. You can go
- 17:36Speaker 1: to our Twitter page and naughty nice rather on Facebook
- 17:39Speaker 1: page is naughty Gossip and miss Schuler to check back
- 17:41Speaker 1: tomorrow Friday to hear your results. And now it's time
- 17:46Speaker 1: for the nicest of the day. Craig Ferguson, We're looking
- 17:53Speaker 1: at you, Okay, So Craig Ferguson refused to make fun
- 17:58Speaker 1: of Britney Spears. Now, this kind I came to light
- 18:01Speaker 1: after the explosive new documentary Framing Brittney Spears, took a
- 18:05Speaker 1: look at the pop stars life, but also that that
- 18:08Speaker 1: nasty media thing that followed her throughout the years. So
- 18:12Speaker 1: Diane Sawyer, Matt Lower, Anderson Cooper, even Jay Leno just
- 18:17Speaker 1: said horrible things. They were all piling on on Brittany.
- 18:20Speaker 1: But Craig Ferguson refused to be a part of the gag.
- 18:23Speaker 1: He said, I went to work on a Monday morning
- 18:26Speaker 1: and everyone had Brittney jokes written up and I was like,
- 18:29Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I didn't. I genuinely was upset.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I went with my gut. It just struck me as
- 18:35Speaker 1: the right thing to do in the moment. Now, Rob
- 18:38Speaker 1: he was a former alcoholic, so he kind of understands
- 18:41Speaker 1: the deal. He kind of gets um what Britney was
- 18:43Speaker 1: going through. And he said he never heard from Brittany,
- 18:45Speaker 1: but it wasn't the point. He just wanted to stand
- 18:47Speaker 1: up for her. What do you think about this? I'm
- 18:49Speaker 1: so into this. It's so easy to think you're being
- 18:53Speaker 1: witty and you're not. You're being cruel. It's so easy
- 18:56Speaker 1: to take a low blow to get more listeners, more attention.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I'm really proud that on this show we always try.
- 19:03Speaker 1: We might not always succeed, but we always try to
- 19:06Speaker 1: take the high road. And I want to listen five
- 19:08Speaker 1: years from now back to show as we did ages ago,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and it's still be proud of them. We don't do it.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I know, I know I could get more hits on
- 19:17Speaker 1: on my website and already gossip by doing really scandalous stories.
- 19:21Speaker 1: If I was cruel like a Perez Hilton, I would
- 19:24Speaker 1: get more traffic. I just won't go down that road.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And the same with the podcast. I know people who
- 19:30Speaker 1: do podcasts who really chum up to really terrible people,
- 19:35Speaker 1: hoping some of that fame, some of that success, some
- 19:37Speaker 1: of that attention will pay off on them. So, for instance,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I get asked all the time to go on other
- 19:42Speaker 1: people's podcast I don't do people's podcasts who are racist.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I don't go on people's podcasts who have said terrible things.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I just don't do it. And if it means my
- 19:53Speaker 1: pie is going to be a little bit smaller, so
- 19:55Speaker 1: be it. What about you, Mark, You take the high
- 19:57Speaker 1: road to you do I always do? You know, and
- 20:00Speaker 1: I approached people and that are going through something difficult,
- 20:03Speaker 1: Like for example, I interviewed lamar Odom last year for
- 20:06Speaker 1: US Weekly, and you know, he's gone through a lot
- 20:09Speaker 1: of things. He's had a lot of problems, and I
- 20:11Speaker 1: had to ask him some really hard questions. But I
- 20:13Speaker 1: also asked in a way that was respectful, and I
- 20:16Speaker 1: didn't put him in a situation where I would embarrass
- 20:18Speaker 1: him or make him feel dumb. I just wanted to
- 20:19Speaker 1: ask him his truth. And there's a there's an art
- 20:22Speaker 1: to that. You know, well, you've certainly learned that my
- 20:24Speaker 1: friend to do a beautiful job. Hey and not this
- 20:26Speaker 1: is the day naughty Norty nor day. Bruce Springsteen has
- 20:28Speaker 1: been arrested for a d w I in November, so
- 20:31Speaker 1: three months ago he was arrested. He was in Sandy Hook,
- 20:35Speaker 1: New Jersey, his home state, cited with d w I,
- 20:39Speaker 1: reckless driving and consuming alcohol in the closed area. This
- 20:43Speaker 1: is awkward because he just put out a commercial for
- 20:45Speaker 1: Jeep Jeep at the Super Bowl, I know, driving a car.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So Jeep has took the commercial down from you Tube.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Do you think he told them before he made the commercial?
- 20:55Speaker 1: We know if this was three months ago when he
- 20:58Speaker 1: made that commercial, he knew. Do you think his manager
- 21:01Speaker 1: or he said, hello, Mr Jeep before I get in
- 21:04Speaker 1: the car and you give me all this money to
- 21:06Speaker 1: do a super Bowl commercial. You should know that three
- 21:08Speaker 1: months ago I was arrested. I don't know if he
- 21:11Speaker 1: told them. You know, it's funny. My cousin actually produces
- 21:14Speaker 1: commercials that were playing on the super Bowl, and I
- 21:17Speaker 1: know that from his stories. There's a lot of money
- 21:20Speaker 1: and involved, there's a lot of preparations, so I would
- 21:23Speaker 1: imagine that he did not tell them. It's kind of weird, though,
- 21:27Speaker 1: is the timing of all this, Like how did he
- 21:28Speaker 1: get arrested three months ago and we're just finding out
- 21:31Speaker 1: the day after a Jeep commercial? I know? And did
- 21:34Speaker 1: he have to give the money back? We're talking about
- 21:36Speaker 1: tens of millions of dollars, Like you have to give
- 21:38Speaker 1: the check back now? Like if they if they had
- 21:40Speaker 1: the commercial member the donna did that Pepsi commercial and
- 21:43Speaker 1: then she put out Jesus Birnie got across, I'd like
- 21:45Speaker 1: a prayer and PEPSI will like, oh no, no, no,
- 21:47Speaker 1: we want no part of this what you mentioned. Like
- 21:50Speaker 1: if I turned aubout the commercial, I'd say Mark, we've
- 21:53Speaker 1: got to tell them before we cashed the check that
- 21:56Speaker 1: you and me were arrested drinking, Like, would just say something,
- 22:01Speaker 1: I mean, why is Bruce Springsteen drinking and driving. Here's
- 22:05Speaker 1: all the money, Here's more money than get an Uber's
- 22:08Speaker 1: hired Donnie, he'd drive you around. Let's have a moment
- 22:12Speaker 1: of rob. You're gonna rob. You gotta robb. You get
- 22:14Speaker 1: a rob. Get into the habit of cheering your friends
- 22:16Speaker 1: on because the only reason people cannot be happy for
- 22:19Speaker 1: others is because they can't be happy for themselves. I
- 22:21Speaker 1: know this. When something great happens in my life, I
- 22:24Speaker 1: look around and I see my friends that cheer and beyond,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't get angry with the friends that can't cheer
- 22:29Speaker 1: for me. I get sad and I know that they're
- 22:31Speaker 1: not cheering, not because of me, but because of themselves.
- 22:33Speaker 1: What do you think about that, Mark, Yeah, I think
- 22:36Speaker 1: it's it's a good point. It's it's a reflection of
- 22:38Speaker 1: their unhappiness, their their fear that you're outgrowing them. Their fear.
- 22:43Speaker 1: It's a fear, and I you know, you have to
- 22:45Speaker 1: kind of let that be and just continue to cheer
- 22:48Speaker 1: on yourself to be your biggest cheerleader, so be a
- 22:51Speaker 1: cheer leader to yourself. Hey, that's it for today. Thank
- 22:54Speaker 1: you so much for listening to them. Not even Nice
- 22:56Speaker 1: with Robin Mark Show, a production of I Heart Radio.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe, but on the I Heart Radio app,
