- 0:27Speaker 1: You frank me down?
- 0:29Speaker 3: Dot com to woe come to cock comes to Mark?

- 0:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna do it begin, I'm gonna go on the
- 0:40Speaker 4: way you vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. I'm listening to the Sport Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I'm the Sportshock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out
- 0:52Speaker 3: there listening land. We are winding down the month of January. Yes, uh,
- 0:59Speaker 3: the first month of twenty twenty five is ending, and
- 1:03Speaker 3: we are a couple of days closer to the Super
- 1:06Speaker 3: Bowl down in New Orleans, the Kansas City Chiefs doing
- 1:11Speaker 3: battle with the Philadelphia Egles. We will see kim Patrick
- 1:17Speaker 3: Mahomes make it a three peat, something that no one
- 1:21Speaker 3: has ever been able to do in the NFL. We
- 1:24Speaker 3: will see if that can happen. But he's going against
- 1:27Speaker 3: a very tough opponent. When you look at the Philadelphia Egos,
- 1:32Speaker 3: that defensive front, that they have the running ability of
- 1:37Speaker 3: Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts when he decides to use
- 1:42Speaker 3: his legs as a weapon, and then you still have
- 1:45Speaker 3: the big play potential with aj Brown down the field
- 1:48Speaker 3: and Devonte Smith down the field. So it should be
- 1:53Speaker 3: a good game. And this is one of the first
- 1:56Speaker 3: times when you look at the Chiefs, or maybe I
- 1:58Speaker 3: would say the second time. Let's go with the second time,
- 2:00Speaker 3: you've really seen them win without the best talent a
- 2:06Speaker 3: long time since. They've had the best talent on the field,
- 2:10Speaker 3: but they have produced the best teams. And that's what
- 2:15Speaker 3: if you went down the box and checked, Eagles have
- 2:18Speaker 3: more talent than the Chiefs, but the Chiefs and they're
- 2:23Speaker 3: winning ways. The strategies of Andy Reid and their abilities
- 2:29Speaker 3: just to make the play when it needs to be
- 2:32Speaker 3: made is really what has put them back in the
- 2:34Speaker 3: Super Bowl and in this position. Again, this is Pro
- 2:39Speaker 3: Bowl weekend for any of you to have any interest.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Most people have faded out of the mindset of the
- 2:47Speaker 3: Pro Bowl because of a lot of factors. Once the
- 2:52Speaker 3: guys really showed that they were not going to play
- 2:55Speaker 3: the game, which is rightfully so. A little different than
- 3:00Speaker 3: baseball and basketball when you don't really play football just
- 3:10Speaker 3: because it's not really a sport of jess, because it's
- 3:13Speaker 3: either we're going to do it or not. People get
- 3:16Speaker 3: up every day and pack their bag knowing they're going
- 3:20Speaker 3: to go play basketball after work. You don't really do
- 3:23Speaker 3: that for football, especially with a helmet. You might get
- 3:26Speaker 3: a flag football game, but you don't see anybody packing
- 3:29Speaker 3: their helmet in the morning to go play football after work.
- 3:33Speaker 3: And that's why I say that. Once that got out
- 3:36Speaker 3: and guys started opting out, I mean, think about it,
- 3:38Speaker 3: Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson said they're not going to participate,
- 3:44Speaker 3: so they sent Drake May and Russell Wilson as their replacement.
- 3:50Speaker 3: And now forever, in the logs of Pro Bowl Drake May,
- 3:54Speaker 3: it will always say that Drake May made a Pro
- 3:56Speaker 3: Bowl and you'll be trying to figure out when. And
- 4:02Speaker 3: that's all it takes because even in a replacement situation,
- 4:08Speaker 3: you get that label. And most of us don't even
- 4:11Speaker 3: know if Drake May threw a touchdown this season for
- 4:14Speaker 3: the Patriots. We really don't. We can't remember one highlight
- 4:18Speaker 3: of Drake May, and no knock on him even just
- 4:21Speaker 3: a rookie out there doing his thing, trying to learn
- 4:23Speaker 3: the game. But that's how it happened because Josh Allen
- 4:26Speaker 3: and Lamar Jackson opted out, and that's what has been
- 4:29Speaker 3: going on for a long time now. And then once
- 4:32Speaker 3: that happened, they kind of scrapped actual playing. They went
- 4:36Speaker 3: to more of a skills competition, which is allowing it
- 4:42Speaker 3: to still be around. But that is this weekend in Orlando.
- 4:46Speaker 3: They even changed a couple of locations, went from Hawaii
- 4:49Speaker 3: to like La or Arizona, and then they went back
- 4:54Speaker 3: to Hawaii. Now they've gone to Orlando. So similar to
- 4:59Speaker 3: the NBA All Star Game and Major League Baseball, they've
- 5:02Speaker 3: all tried to come up with that w Maybe they
- 5:04Speaker 3: need to hire a Vince mcmahn. They've always came with
- 5:07Speaker 3: that gimmick way to try to add a life raft
- 5:11Speaker 3: to these All Star Games. The NBA still don't know
- 5:16Speaker 3: what to do. Well, first of all, stop trying to
- 5:18Speaker 3: add people that are not in the NBA. If you
- 5:22Speaker 3: keep going to get the little young dunker Mac mcglonging
- 5:25Speaker 3: or whatever his name to be a dunker, and he's
- 5:28Speaker 3: not in the NBA. He's not part of the four
- 5:30Speaker 3: hundred and fifty players that you actually say are NBA players.
- 5:34Speaker 3: He's a G League player. You keep going to get
- 5:37Speaker 3: Sabrina and NESQ. You asking Caitlin Clark who turned you
- 5:40Speaker 3: down to be in a three point contest. Then you're
- 5:44Speaker 3: you're not having the NBA All Star Game. You're trying
- 5:48Speaker 3: to put on some gimmicks to get people to watch,
- 5:52Speaker 3: either get your players to want to participate, or maybe
- 5:57Speaker 3: leave it alone, just make it a one day event
- 6:01Speaker 3: and go with the full idea of skills competition. But
- 6:08Speaker 3: to keep all these is really just a lot of playing,
- 6:12Speaker 3: which I still liken't figured out why as a basketball player,
- 6:16Speaker 3: I can't give ninety percent in the game. I understand
- 6:21Speaker 3: you didn't give a hundred cent. No, I don't want
- 6:23Speaker 3: my We got a season to play. I don't want
- 6:25Speaker 3: you diving over there either, breaking your collar. Ball right,
- 6:28Speaker 3: but you could have ran to the ball part though, right,
- 6:30Speaker 3: the first part where you ran over there to the ball.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I did that. Now you don't have to hit me
- 6:34Speaker 3: with the Dennis Rodman or the Draymond Green where you
- 6:36Speaker 3: dive in the stands to throw the ball back. And
- 6:40Speaker 3: that's kind of how the NBA All Star game goes,
- 6:42Speaker 3: so it faded out. People don't believe that's why the
- 6:45Speaker 3: NBA ratings are down. Adam Silver is talking about going
- 6:48Speaker 3: to ten minute quarters. It's the product, not the time.
- 6:55Speaker 3: It's the product. Turn the mirror around on yourself. It's
- 7:00Speaker 3: the product. Look at the numbers. When did the NBA
- 7:03Speaker 3: numbers start dipping? Right after you had the locker out
- 7:07Speaker 3: in twenty twelve, and right at in twenty twelve, God
- 7:10Speaker 3: rest his soul, Trayvon Martin passed away in that same year.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Those things happened. The public codes go to sport to
- 7:21Speaker 3: get away. You invited him to the basketball game to
- 7:26Speaker 3: get some kind of revolutionary message, and ever since then
- 7:32Speaker 3: your numbers have slowly went down. Now you're trying to
- 7:36Speaker 3: fight that, you're fighting the Kawhi Leonard disease. You still
- 7:40Speaker 3: ain't shaking that off. LOLd management is still the picture
- 7:44Speaker 3: of your industry, that the man is paying his high dollar.
- 7:48Speaker 3: And as I keep telling people, man, you Greg, that's
- 7:51Speaker 3: just don't believe me. Human nature is the hate. That's
- 7:54Speaker 3: why Caine killed Abel. He was jealous and he was spiteful,
- 8:00Speaker 3: was hateful of his own brother. Lane.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Stop telling people you paying guys sixty million.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Dollars a year.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Every time you do that, you irk somebody lanes, telling
- 8:12Speaker 5: somebody you make sixty million dollars a year and you
- 8:15Speaker 5: can't play tonight because I got a headache.
- 8:17Speaker 3: To a man who makes seventy thousand dollars climbing.
- 8:21Speaker 5: A tree, who goes up that tree every day with
- 8:25Speaker 5: a headache.
- 8:26Speaker 3: And a torn rotator eight hours, he don't want to
- 8:29Speaker 3: hear that.
- 8:31Speaker 5: You have to let him feel like, Nah, I can
- 8:33Speaker 5: go home, get my Kobe and watch the game.
- 8:36Speaker 3: But he don't want to hear a report that the
- 8:38Speaker 3: guy he took he got home early to watch is out.
- 8:42Speaker 6: He gonna come out because he came home, he puts
- 8:44Speaker 6: some icy hot on his torn rotated coff and grabbed
- 8:47Speaker 6: him a beer. Man, I'm gonna sit here and relax
- 8:49Speaker 6: a little my shoulder and watch this game. Oh and
- 8:53Speaker 6: we going in the night.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Kawhi Leonard is out tonight.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Out where will we might go? Hic up with mister
- 9:03Speaker 5: says an Avenue strain. He'd be out two to three weeks.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Wait, now, you ain't talking about on the town. You're
- 9:11Speaker 3: talking about out of the game. It's those little things
- 9:13Speaker 3: I'm telling you. You have to make it. Just stop
- 9:16Speaker 3: telling people. He said, he know his body. I tried
- 9:21Speaker 3: to tell my supervisor that, hey, man, I know by minutes,
- 9:25Speaker 3: why ten minutes, whether they say out of the commission
- 9:29Speaker 3: or not. That he's saying, he's dreaming because he wants
- 9:33Speaker 3: to speed up. Well, cut some commercials out.
- 9:37Speaker 5: I'm sorry, no, no, no, no, not for now hours.
- 9:41Speaker 6: He said, the ten minute time frame to sind up
- 9:46Speaker 6: better with the TV schedule, which means there's what they say,
- 9:52Speaker 6: there's what we hear, which means, come on, man, we
- 9:54Speaker 6: can get more advertising in those How many minutes do
- 9:58Speaker 6: we save if we cut out to that's eight minutes,
- 10:01Speaker 6: eight minutes, and these commercials are thirty seconds apiece at
- 10:06Speaker 6: roughly seven to twelve million dollars per commercial, So four
- 10:11Speaker 6: minutes worth for seven to twelve.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Do you you feel me? You feel me shorty when
- 10:17Speaker 3: you say out.
- 10:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:18Speaker 3: But if I cut out four commercial breaks, that's sixteen minutes.
- 10:24Speaker 3: That would put me right now. The average NBA games
- 10:27Speaker 3: takes two minutes, I mean two hours and fifteen minutes.
- 10:30Speaker 3: If you cut out the commercial.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Breaks, hold on, hold on the paid commercial break. Yes,
- 10:37Speaker 6: you want to cut out sixteen minutes?
- 10:38Speaker 5: Or for seven to twelve million dollars per thirty seconds.
- 10:43Speaker 6: I'm finna send you on him Trump email like for
- 10:47Speaker 6: you to resign by the end of the day. Sir,
- 10:49Speaker 6: did you say cut out the paid sponsorships?
- 10:53Speaker 3: I mean you wanted to cut the game down.
- 10:54Speaker 5: No, no, no, I said I wanted to cut the quarters down.
- 11:00Speaker 8: Inside with I'm wondering if when you say, look at
- 11:03Speaker 8: the mirror, Adam Silver, I'm wondering if he has a
- 11:06Speaker 8: policy like the NFL, you know, listen to the fans.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Are they going with what the fans are saying, like
- 11:11Speaker 8: cut these minutes down or they make shutting the quarters
- 11:13Speaker 8: Because they've been talking about if you get filed on
- 11:16Speaker 8: a three pointer you only get two free throws.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I don't think that's fair.
- 11:19Speaker 8: If a man shooting a three pointer and he gets filed,
- 11:21Speaker 8: he should get three shots. So he's trying to change
- 11:24Speaker 8: a lot of things that just to try to speed
- 11:26Speaker 8: up or add more advertising. So I don't know, it's
- 11:30Speaker 8: just I'm just wondering if they're like, is there a
- 11:33Speaker 8: fan a group of fan or fan base, or are
- 11:36Speaker 8: they listening to the fans really or there's just something
- 11:39Speaker 8: that they're doing within there.
- 11:42Speaker 3: They're scrambling trying to save their product. That's all they're doing.
- 11:51Speaker 3: You can't have I mean, he'll lose his job here
- 11:53Speaker 3: in a second. It seemed like he wants. But you
- 11:56Speaker 3: keep going into a board meeting and another season. I
- 12:02Speaker 3: don't care if it's just one percent. If you're telling
- 12:04Speaker 3: me the last twelve season, each season we go down
- 12:08Speaker 3: three hundred thousand people, we're up there. Almost three million
- 12:12Speaker 3: people went on lost. We're going down and down. You
- 12:15Speaker 3: lose your.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Job and you walked in talk about it. Let's paint
- 12:18Speaker 6: the courts different colors.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Wait, you've come up with all the gimmick. Coud all
- 12:24Speaker 3: you go this morning, sir? The Vegas Cup we still
- 12:28Speaker 3: ain't paying no man, let's put a pin in that one.
- 12:30Speaker 5: We're gonna We're gonna circle back to the Vegas Cup, sir.
- 12:34Speaker 3: And then we start whispering A man, I don't know
- 12:36Speaker 3: if Adam the dude that's a nont know. I don't
- 12:39Speaker 3: know he talking about Vegas more than sports Duck show.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Right after this, John.
- 12:55Speaker 9: Boy, Wayne Born of the Sports John Hill with Wayne
- 12:58Speaker 9: Dandius coming up next.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Are they gonna go?
- 13:01Speaker 10: We thought returning military vets they've served out country, at
- 13:06Speaker 10: home and abroad. They've slept in tanks, fox owls, and

- 13:13Speaker 10: So Sports Chuckman of Honor, Mister Scott Holliday, CEO of

- 14:30Speaker 15: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 14:33Speaker 15: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 14:35Speaker 15: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 14:39Speaker 15: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 14:42Speaker 15: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 14:45Speaker 15: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 14:48Speaker 15: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 14:52Speaker 15: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 14:55Speaker 15: toolbox to take care of these little girls that had
- 14:58Speaker 15: just lost their mother. Time for me to be that
- 15:01Speaker 15: father that I knew it could be. I think just
- 15:03Speaker 15: being that good role model as well, that model's good
- 15:07Speaker 15: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 15:10Speaker 15: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 15:13Speaker 15: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 15:16Speaker 15: and watching your kids be happy.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Never stop being a dad.
- 15:21Speaker 13: That's dedication.

- 15:37Speaker 10: The Jock of the Day is sponsored by macriss HEROESUSA
- 15:40Speaker 10: dot com the sleep you deserve at a.
- 15:42Speaker 11: Price you can afford.
- 15:43Speaker 3: No, no, no, Now.
- 15:44Speaker 11: It's time to present the Jock of the Day on
- 15:47Speaker 11: the Sports jocksh.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Just taking it to a completely different level this.
- 15:51Speaker 17: Year where we highlight an accolete that has taken their
- 15:54Speaker 17: game to the next level.
- 16:05Speaker 11: Don't be so quick us.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Okay, don't want to park your buddy tyesday.
- 16:14Speaker 3: See you don't have to event usday. Let me.
- 16:21Speaker 18: To the bank day.
- 16:24Speaker 3: See wait, waut to what shot?
- 16:26Speaker 5: Shot?
- 16:26Speaker 3: I'm the swarshock wing can t Good morning to you
- 16:30Speaker 3: as we end January twenty twenty five. Uh, we were
- 16:35Speaker 3: just talking about Adam Silver, the commissioner of the NBA,
- 16:39Speaker 3: and he's saying that he's dreaming of a time. Now
- 16:41Speaker 3: nothing's on the docket, but he probably will introduce it.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Introduce this to the board once the season is over,
- 16:50Speaker 3: of ten minute quarters instead of twelve minutes. And I
- 16:54Speaker 3: think a consensus just talking to the fellows here on
- 16:57Speaker 3: the board, is it's less about the gimmick and more
- 17:02Speaker 3: about the product. You know, you can sit there and
- 17:09Speaker 3: keep adding stuff to the menu, but if you get
- 17:13Speaker 3: away from producing what the signs say. The sign says ribs,
- 17:19Speaker 3: that's what it said, slow cook ribs. I mean, that's
- 17:22Speaker 3: what the whole sign says, slow cook.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Rib And then people come here looking for those delicious
- 17:27Speaker 5: slow cook.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Ribs, and we we got some. They start, we got
- 17:32Speaker 3: some salmon fading steaks. And just because you keep.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Adding on some new slow and all that, but that's
- 17:40Speaker 5: not what I came here for.
- 17:42Speaker 3: You don't want you don't want to try deep battery.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And that's how the NBA keeps trying these city league
- 17:49Speaker 3: court Like you said, change the court, change the uniform,
- 17:52Speaker 3: Let's have a Vegas cup, let's add a game here,
- 17:56Speaker 3: let's take and it's like, how about get the guys
- 17:58Speaker 3: to play. You might even be in a situation that
- 18:02Speaker 3: you might need to get rid of two of three teams.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Consolidation consolidation of players has hurt your league too. Each
- 18:10Speaker 3: city doesn't have a superstar, a brand name, and you
- 18:14Speaker 3: sell stars. So when I look at one game, there's
- 18:18Speaker 3: not a star on the Chicago Bulls right now that
- 18:22Speaker 3: is driving people to need to see the Chicago Bulls.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Does that make sense? It does? It makes great. Nothing
- 18:29Speaker 3: against the Chicago but there's not You know, everybody went
- 18:33Speaker 3: to three or four of them. Bradley Beal, who kill him?
- 18:40Speaker 3: What's his name? John wall At that one time at
- 18:44Speaker 3: the Wizards gave you at least regardless of the record,
- 18:48Speaker 3: you can get a little show. Now they're gone. Who's
- 18:51Speaker 3: the superstar of.
- 18:52Speaker 5: The Wizards The Jordan Poole exactly? Who didn't know he
- 18:59Speaker 5: was even there? But yeah, now that was the first
- 19:02Speaker 5: thing I got. No, no, no, no, I know who he is,
- 19:05Speaker 5: but we got we forgot he was. That was yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 5: that was he was on me off. I was like
- 19:09Speaker 5: Jordan poolas So.
- 19:11Speaker 3: As soon as you see that on the calendar, people
- 19:14Speaker 3: are gonna forget. The Pistons don't have a marketable star
- 19:19Speaker 3: because everybody, and I'm just saying, there's a lot of
- 19:21Speaker 3: reasons other than them a little eight minutes. Because I've
- 19:25Speaker 3: never said that an NBA game or watched one in
- 19:29Speaker 3: regular time that I thought was long. The baseball thing
- 19:34Speaker 3: I've been I could understand that because and you know,
- 19:38Speaker 3: I don't know if we need a pitch clock, but
- 19:41Speaker 3: them battles were taking like thirty seconds in between each pitch.
- 19:51Speaker 15: I'm not.
- 19:54Speaker 6: I'm not being judgmental because we've all taken thirty seconds
- 19:57Speaker 6: to adjust our jewelry and our gloves.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Am I right? Am I right?
- 20:02Speaker 5: But Dad, throw a pitch and then you do the
- 20:04Speaker 5: you do all of that again because I moved and
- 20:07Speaker 5: not myself my stuff adjusted.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I gotta get It's a say, it's.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Been a six minute at back and and three pitches.
- 20:16Speaker 5: I'm saying, though, But did I get on base? That's
- 20:18Speaker 5: all I did? I get on base?
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yes, I did, sir. A group of Western Oregon women
- 20:25Speaker 3: basketball players have filed a lawsuit against the university and
- 20:29Speaker 3: their coaches and multiple school administrators, alleging multiple forms of
- 20:33Speaker 3: abuse that include excessive practice conditions and inappropriate comments being
- 20:39Speaker 3: made about players' bodies. Now, I guess sometimes some things
- 20:44Speaker 3: do run me back to say, I'm from the old school.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I read this lawsuit. I summed it up. I thought
- 20:53Speaker 3: it was called coaching. I didn't. I didn't. I thought
- 20:56Speaker 3: the whole we're gonna run to somebody throw up.
- 21:01Speaker 6: And well used to be called coaching and load management. Well,
- 21:07Speaker 6: that used to be called coaching and load management used
- 21:09Speaker 6: to be called slacking. So we've redefined a lot of
- 21:14Speaker 6: things now.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Coach trying to poke at you, was trying to get
- 21:20Speaker 3: you mentally tough. If you came last. Now you could
- 21:25Speaker 3: have the belly. If you win the hundred, you could.
- 21:29Speaker 3: But if you come in last with the belly, something
- 21:32Speaker 3: got to be saying.
- 21:32Speaker 6: Well, I'm saying, and you out here, either you need
- 21:34Speaker 6: to stop running or you need to get.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Rid of the batle. So maybe you guys, it's Western
- 21:39Speaker 3: Oregon and they are looking for twenty eight million. And
- 21:42Speaker 3: we've seen over the last couple of years different groups
- 21:45Speaker 3: of basketball, football players suit coaches try to get them
- 21:49Speaker 3: fired for how they felt like the coaches ran the program.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Now these young ladies are saying that there is a
- 21:57Speaker 3: nc double, a handbook. I didn't know guidelines that. I
- 22:04Speaker 3: guess you can't put the player down now.
- 22:09Speaker 8: But I mean I would imagine a couple of a
- 22:12Speaker 8: couple of things because of the different incidents, would have
- 22:15Speaker 8: thrown it. Not throwing when the coach at.
- 22:17Speaker 5: But that terrible command you that is terrible. I don't
- 22:21Speaker 5: even know why I came to Oklahoma and brought you here.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I really regret that. I don't know why I came
- 22:29Speaker 3: here and brought you here. Try to teach you how
- 22:31Speaker 3: to run this football. That's all you got for me. Greg,
- 22:36Speaker 3: keep talking to you.
- 22:38Speaker 5: The rest of the team out here throwing up because
- 22:40Speaker 5: you can't run no faster. I don't know what's going on, sir,
- 22:44Speaker 5: but this man keep talking to you, and you keep
- 22:45Speaker 5: on slowing down. And it used to be called coaching.
- 22:50Speaker 5: And give it a couple of months. Look at a
- 22:53Speaker 5: couple of months.
- 22:53Speaker 6: These same women about to get this university shut down
- 22:56Speaker 6: because they'll stop funding. They'll stop funding for this because
- 22:59Speaker 6: this that you trying to tell me, there's a handbook
- 23:03Speaker 6: that says I can't push you as a coach.
- 23:05Speaker 3: You're trying to tell.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Me that that's been added to the coaching NCAA rules
- 23:11Speaker 6: and regulations.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I'm like, let these young ladies, you know, I don't
- 23:14Speaker 3: even on the pro level. Now. It could be on
- 23:16Speaker 3: change now, but I haven't been gone but fifteen fourteen,
- 23:20Speaker 3: fifteen years. You could walk in a meeting and coach
- 23:26Speaker 3: already got the film tuned up and you circled see no, no, no, no, no, you,
- 23:34Speaker 3: we got to go to break. We'll come back and talk.
- 23:36Speaker 3: But he's already had the videoographer pull up the play
- 23:41Speaker 3: he wants and circle Big Kenny on it.
- 23:44Speaker 6: And all of a sudden, when I walk into the rood,
- 23:47Speaker 6: I see my number. Here we go, here we go
- 23:51Speaker 6: already No, already no, and my friends looking at me,
- 23:54Speaker 6: everybody else on team looking at me, like, hey, how
- 23:56Speaker 6: you doing this morning?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Broh? You know how I'm doing.
- 24:00Speaker 6: We've been to have a thirty minute conversation about my position.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Gonna get to is that you, Kenny.
- 24:05Speaker 5: If you ain't never been against, if you haven't been
- 24:08Speaker 5: two seconds away from slapping your.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Coach, he ain't coaching you, right, He or she ain't
- 24:12Speaker 3: coaching you right. At some point there was both me
- 24:15Speaker 3: this moment, man, I'm gonna have to tighten coach up.
- 24:17Speaker 5: And I ain't judging couse we didn't all attack the coach.
- 24:19Speaker 5: I'm all right, we didn't know I'm talking about. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 5: don't don't crab.
- 24:25Speaker 3: We'll be back. In sports, that's a John Boy, Wayne Born.

- 27:29Speaker 3: Welcome back to the sport Shock Show. I'm the sports
- 27:32Speaker 3: Shock Wing Candy Sad News out of the DC area.
- 27:35Speaker 3: I'm quite a lot, sure, a lot of you have
- 27:37Speaker 3: been zoomed in until the crash last night American Airlines
- 27:43Speaker 3: the jet that collided with the army helicopter in Washington,
- 27:46Speaker 3: d C. They are now reporting that a contingency of
- 27:51Speaker 3: figure skaters and their coaches and some family members we're
- 27:55Speaker 3: among the sixty sixty four passengers on that flight. I
- 28:02Speaker 3: don't know if they've come out with an official number
- 28:05Speaker 3: of how many people have passed away, but they are
- 28:11Speaker 3: saying that some US figure skaters, their coaches, and family
- 28:15Speaker 3: members were on that collision which happened yesterday American Airlines
- 28:22Speaker 3: and helicopter. They crashed upon landing.
- 28:25Speaker 8: Yes, so collide before before I came in, it was
- 28:30Speaker 8: like they've found twenty bodies so far Intomac okay.
- 28:35Speaker 6: And they collided mid air on approach to the plane
- 28:39Speaker 6: was making its final approach. We don't know what the
- 28:41Speaker 6: military helicopter was doing, so.
- 28:46Speaker 3: I guess we have to let that story air out.
- 28:47Speaker 3: But our condolences and heartfelt wishes, and all of us
- 28:52Speaker 3: has been on planes, We've all had some kind of
- 28:56Speaker 3: thought at some point. No matter how comfortable you are flying,
- 29:00Speaker 3: you've always had you've had one moment where you thought
- 29:03Speaker 3: of the tragedy of the incident, and unfortunately it's something
- 29:09Speaker 3: that here and there happens around the world at some point.
- 29:14Speaker 3: So have you ever been on a plane and had
- 29:18Speaker 3: what you considered a supertense moment, like I thought this
- 29:22Speaker 3: was going to be it that ever happened to you.
- 29:25Speaker 3: I've been on a plane once or twice where it
- 29:30Speaker 3: slid off the runway due to the ice on on
- 29:36Speaker 3: team planes flying into icy cities and it slid over
- 29:43Speaker 3: those kind of things. I've been to the probably the
- 29:47Speaker 3: wildest moment, a police escort where we caught the bus
- 29:53Speaker 3: at the facility in Saint Louis. And typically like four cars,
- 30:01Speaker 3: state troopers or local law enforcement will escort us to
- 30:06Speaker 3: the airport so we don't have to stop. And as
- 30:10Speaker 3: one of them, you know, they do that thing where
- 30:13Speaker 3: they stop and then they go back get in front.
- 30:16Speaker 3: They keep switching. When one came to get in front,
- 30:21Speaker 3: he lost control of the wheel and actually went off
- 30:25Speaker 3: the highway and cross. He didn't die, He wasn't a
- 30:31Speaker 3: coma for a minute, but I guess he lost when
- 30:34Speaker 3: he was trying to get back in front of the bus.
- 30:36Speaker 3: He lost and went off the highway over into the
- 30:39Speaker 3: ditch and we just kept rolling. It was it was
- 30:43Speaker 3: one of the things like because you're like, man, this
- 30:45Speaker 3: man is hurt, but you win such precisions.
- 30:50Speaker 6: And I was going to say military situations, large group
- 30:54Speaker 6: movements that are timed and have restrictions tied to them
- 30:59Speaker 6: can sometime calls you to come face to face with
- 31:02Speaker 6: your humanity because one man falling out, one part of
- 31:06Speaker 6: this machine stopping.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Working doesn't stop anything else from happening.
- 31:10Speaker 6: And nobody, nobody's mindset is, oh my goodness, we need
- 31:14Speaker 6: to stop and go check everybody's on some Hey, I
- 31:16Speaker 6: need you to focus on what we're doing right now.
- 31:18Speaker 3: You gotta keep focused. Comn you, Greg, you said Blockbuster
- 31:22Speaker 3: the video who's coming back out as a restaurant? Is
- 31:26Speaker 3: that what you sent me? Yes, they were showing videos
- 31:30Speaker 3: in there.
- 31:31Speaker 5: Did you imagine this or is this something that actually
- 31:34Speaker 5: you sent me an article about Oh yeah, a restaurant.
- 31:37Speaker 5: You know there's a nightclub. They're looking at an amusement part.
- 31:42Speaker 5: So they're they're looking to use that brain.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Sound like they're doing the NBA thing. Should we called
- 31:49Speaker 3: blockbuster video or just called block called blockbuster?
- 31:54Speaker 5: As far as the what it, what we know it
- 31:57Speaker 5: as there's only one of those. Uh, it's it's an organ,
- 32:04Speaker 5: but they're looking to Yeah, we still use that brand.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Okay. Now I want to ask Blockbusters. Maybe they come
- 32:15Speaker 3: out like what we have here, Dave and Busters, dave
- 32:17Speaker 3: Busters entertainment, entertainment and adult entertainment and dining.
- 32:24Speaker 6: I want to ask you guys, Uh, we've lived through
- 32:28Speaker 6: the Blockbuster era. For people that don't know, Blockbuster was
- 32:30Speaker 6: a brick and mortar story where you could go and
- 32:33Speaker 6: rent videos. They were late release movies, old movies, the
- 32:36Speaker 6: same way we get our movies now through streaming and
- 32:40Speaker 6: you'd rent them, keeping for a number of days, return them.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Is streaming better? Is it cheaper? Do you prefer it?
- 32:47Speaker 6: Or do you miss the days of actually going in
- 32:50Speaker 6: because that used to be a whole family activity.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Hey, we're going to Blockbuster. You know what I'm saying.
- 32:54Speaker 6: And if you were young enough to remember, like if
- 32:56Speaker 6: your folks let you go off down an aisle on
- 32:59Speaker 6: your own to pick out a movie while they went
- 33:02Speaker 6: to you know.
- 33:02Speaker 3: It was simpler. It was simpler. In my opinion, it
- 33:07Speaker 3: was simpler because different than screaming and command and you
- 33:12Speaker 3: and and the baptucy y'all are better with the computer
- 33:15Speaker 3: than I am, So maybe y'all it's easier for you.
- 33:18Speaker 3: But for someone like me, if I went to Blockbuster,
- 33:21Speaker 3: I could literally go to the section of what I
- 33:24Speaker 3: want to see and just kind of see all of it.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Didn't have to stroll down and have to figure out
- 33:31Speaker 3: how to, you know, And I could run upon something
- 33:34Speaker 3: I didn't see or didn't even know somebody was in.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Because I'm a big movie buff, so I don't always
- 33:41Speaker 3: need to see the IT movie. I might want to
- 33:46Speaker 3: see something, Oh, I didn't even know you was in
- 33:47Speaker 3: this movie. You know how they had it categorized. You
- 33:51Speaker 3: just catch a little bit of everything, and it just
- 33:53Speaker 3: made it a whole experience. And now they have stuff
- 33:58Speaker 3: similar like that to streaming.
- 33:59Speaker 6: But you got the find Unknown Roles channel, you know
- 34:03Speaker 6: what I'm saying, And then you find all of these
- 34:05Speaker 6: A list stars that are in be your cless movie
- 34:08Speaker 6: And who even knew that if I hadn't been watching
- 34:11Speaker 6: some sort of trailers. And to me, streaming just seems
- 34:16Speaker 6: a lot less of an event going to block Because
- 34:18Speaker 6: I still like you go to the actual movie. Yes,
- 34:21Speaker 6: what about you guys? Y'all still like to.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Go to the movie house or you're big watching anything
- 34:26Speaker 3: from your home, which one would you prefer?
- 34:29Speaker 8: I mean, I like going to the movies. It's something
- 34:32Speaker 8: you're getting out. It's different from that. What I liked
- 34:35Speaker 8: about Blockbusters was like the movie that you didn't go see,
- 34:39Speaker 8: I just wait. That's the beauty of Blockbuster. The video
- 34:42Speaker 8: at the time, you can wait like three or four
- 34:43Speaker 8: months or they come out, and but the ones you
- 34:46Speaker 8: had to see, the movie you had to see you
- 34:48Speaker 8: was out there, you would go see it.
- 34:49Speaker 3: That's the beauty of Blockbuster. Yeah. So Greg has a
- 34:52Speaker 3: restaurant coming.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Wow.
- 34:55Speaker 3: When you said, I figure it's gonna be something along
- 34:57Speaker 3: the lines of maybe David Busters. Is there what else
- 35:01Speaker 3: out there? Because I'm just saying David busses for here.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I don't know if David busses around the whole country.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Is that a national brand? Is a similar? Yeah? Okay,
- 35:13Speaker 3: they have a similar is a similar thing? Okay? Russell
- 35:16Speaker 3: Wilson or Justin Fields. If you're the Pittsburgh Stealers, who
- 35:22Speaker 3: are you putting your dime on? Who would you go
- 35:24Speaker 3: ahead on and ride in twenty twenty five? I would
- 35:30Speaker 3: go with Wilson. I've seen him more I've seen him more.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Justin Fields, justin fields, Russell Wilson, Okay, Russell Wilson, all right, No,
- 35:43Speaker 5: it's no right or wrong.
- 35:44Speaker 3: I was just that's one of the big big questions,
- 35:46Speaker 3: one of the big questions on the off season. Who
- 35:49Speaker 3: are the Stellers going to choose in this situation. Russell
- 35:52Speaker 3: Wilson was on a one year deal, but you had
- 35:55Speaker 3: a Fields was only on a two year deal. But
- 35:58Speaker 3: you had an interesting point the other day.
- 36:00Speaker 5: He's on his uh this Ricky contract, Riocky contract.
- 36:04Speaker 8: What you're interesting point with the Pete Carroll situation. You know,
- 36:08Speaker 8: in that situation, Russell possibly if everything didn't work out
- 36:13Speaker 8: the way and every management and thing wasn't you know,
- 36:15Speaker 8: he didn't like everything with Pittsburgh, he might Pete Carroll
- 36:19Speaker 8: may have a situation, Hey, come.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Help me out.
- 36:22Speaker 8: And I thought that was a great scenario for Russell
- 36:25Speaker 8: Wilson anyway, possibly.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Oh no, no doubt to get back with your old
- 36:28Speaker 3: coach and even on it, because nobody, I mean, you're
- 36:31Speaker 3: thirty six years old, thirty seven, so all you're gonna
- 36:33Speaker 3: get is one maybe two year deals offered anyway.
- 36:37Speaker 8: Right, because Pittsburgh still was one to win now and
- 36:39Speaker 8: the fan base, and they're not going to play around
- 36:42Speaker 8: and want Russell there just to hold them out for
- 36:44Speaker 8: another year. They'd rather go ahead, Let's get us a
- 36:46Speaker 8: quarterback developed and get someone in there.
- 36:47Speaker 6: Well, get a quarterback developed like a just if Justin
- 36:50Speaker 6: Fields and Russell Wilson are the two choices. Do you
- 36:54Speaker 6: think that Pittsburgh would be willing to flounder at the
- 36:59Speaker 6: quarterback position for a whole season in an effort?
- 37:02Speaker 5: They doing it kind of.
- 37:04Speaker 3: They've been flounder for years, six years. But can can
- 37:08Speaker 3: Mike Tomlin afford to flounder? No? They can't.
- 37:11Speaker 6: Well, see that's what I'm saying that all of that
- 37:15Speaker 6: will factor because you feel.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Like Mike Tumblin next year, not only has he has
- 37:19Speaker 3: to win a playoff game, I think because he's surprised
- 37:27Speaker 3: especialists of that whole nine to eight thing where he's
- 37:32Speaker 3: never had a losing season. I think that is faded.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I mean, he comes under the pressure of at least
- 37:37Speaker 3: making the playoffs and winning a playoff game at least one.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Do you think that, I know they haven't done it often,
- 37:46Speaker 5: but to get a possible free agent quarterback or make
- 37:50Speaker 5: a deal to maybe they make a deal to get
- 37:52Speaker 5: Kirk Cousins, or they can convince Aaron Rodgers to sign
- 37:57Speaker 5: with them. Do you think they'll go after a another
- 38:01Speaker 5: veteran quarterback to put them in position well to you know,
- 38:06Speaker 5: at least contend for the playoffs, and then maybe they
- 38:10Speaker 5: have to make some moves to move up to get
- 38:12Speaker 5: a quarterback. A quarterback get taken so early and they're
- 38:15Speaker 5: always picking in the in the twenties because.
- 38:20Speaker 3: The playoffs. Is Aaron Rodgers a better choice than a
- 38:23Speaker 3: Russell Wilson, No, that's what I'm saying.
- 38:27Speaker 6: I mean, I would rather stick with the dude that's
- 38:29Speaker 6: already wearing Mike uniforms.
- 38:30Speaker 5: Well, with Russell Wilson, he's well, I mean they're both
- 38:34Speaker 5: free agents.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Do you bring me if Russell Wilson would take another
- 38:36Speaker 3: one year deal, No, ways, you bring him back. If
- 38:41Speaker 3: he's looking for two or more, you can't, but just
- 38:45Speaker 3: come for the.
- 38:46Speaker 8: I just think the Pete Carroll situation, you know, it
- 38:49Speaker 8: makes more sense though. I mean, I know you saying
- 38:53Speaker 8: in Pittsburgh, but I just think that, like you said,
- 38:55Speaker 8: with Mike Tomlin, he's got to get somebody in there
- 38:58Speaker 8: that's ready to continue to if he wants to continue
- 39:00Speaker 8: in Pittsburgh, he just can't have a one year.
- 39:02Speaker 6: Well, it's the thing, Mike Tomlin got to survive the
- 39:05Speaker 6: next season to get to that future. And if he
- 39:08Speaker 6: don't do something, I don't think he'll survive next year.
- 39:11Speaker 3: We'll be back more to to show right after this.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeahs show.
- 39:31Speaker 11: Looking at me, it's always the same.
- 39:33Speaker 1: It's just a shame that.

- 41:50Speaker 5: Shock Show, This Hoy Shock, Wayne gandw NBA Hall of
- 41:55Speaker 5: Famer Britney Griner signed a one year deal to play
- 42:00Speaker 5: here in Atlanta with the Atlanta Dream After eleven years
- 42:06Speaker 5: with the Phoenix Mercury, She's decided to take a one
- 42:10Speaker 5: year deal here in Atlanta. Atlanta with a Britney definitely
- 42:19Speaker 5: can make some moves with.
- 42:21Speaker 3: That kind of size inside, and they had a lot
- 42:23Speaker 3: of young talent. It was very interesting that they even
- 42:26Speaker 3: fired their coach. I didn't I thought she did a
- 42:28Speaker 3: great job, but they fired her at the end of
- 42:31Speaker 3: the season. But Brittany Grinder coming to Atlanta. Can you say?
- 42:34Speaker 3: We got a couple of comments.
- 42:36Speaker 6: Yeah, we have comments from our online listeners. Sports Jock.
- 42:39Speaker 6: There was a comment from Jared Lloyd about Jordan Poole.
- 42:42Speaker 6: He says he got banished to DC because he got
- 42:44Speaker 6: in the way of Draymond Green's fist. I don't know
- 42:48Speaker 6: if that's an actual reason to be banished to d C,
- 42:50Speaker 6: but that's what he said. He said Blockbuster is like
- 42:53Speaker 6: a library from movies and videos. He says, wait, now,
- 42:56Speaker 6: explain to explain what a library is the general ration
- 43:00Speaker 6: z because they don't know what either one is Blockbuster
- 43:04Speaker 6: and then Uncle Charlie said wild Blockbuster man, y'all still
- 43:07Speaker 6: got that Superfly movie you didn't take back?
- 43:10Speaker 3: True and uncle y'all.
- 43:12Speaker 6: It's actually the mac but your head. I do have
- 43:16Speaker 6: the Max steal from Blockbuster, Yes I do.
- 43:19Speaker 7: So.
- 43:21Speaker 3: A statue of limitation ran out and you can just
- 43:24Speaker 3: confess that because that is a crime. No, man, all
- 43:28Speaker 3: of these are joke, sir. You know what I'm saying.
- 43:37Speaker 8: Because I had a VCR that you can record your own,
- 43:41Speaker 8: so I recorded my own.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I do have a copy of that. That was just joke.
- 43:44Speaker 5: Every everything I say on the microphone stands behind the recording.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Is that was a crime too, Yeah, they give you that.
- 43:53Speaker 3: That was pirates always.
- 43:55Speaker 6: Because you had to stick little pieces of tissue or
- 43:58Speaker 6: something in there in the back. You got to cover
- 44:00Speaker 6: the back part to be able to get it to record,
- 44:03Speaker 6: so you had to go. So that's piracy. So that's
- 44:06Speaker 6: admitting to a crime too. And you're not a comedian, sir,
- 44:09Speaker 6: so they can't arrest you. You see that that's the
- 44:16Speaker 6: party that will be the reasonable doubt, that'll be the
- 44:19Speaker 6: go with that defense, though, I'll be I'll be there
- 44:22Speaker 6: to support sir.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Well, I didn't do any of that. I didn't record nothing,
- 44:25Speaker 3: and I returned everything, so I don't know what you
- 44:28Speaker 3: were doing. He's gonna be the one.
- 44:30Speaker 6: He's gonna be the one sports He's already told me.
- 44:36Speaker 6: If the fans show ups, hold on, let me call.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Him no Park Range and security Ambassador. It'll be a
- 44:50Speaker 3: security big Kenny. They got us, bro.
- 44:57Speaker 8: Kennedy got well, come on down. He was a guy
- 45:00Speaker 8: you said, just blockbust a card. Look at you like
- 45:03Speaker 8: you know.
- 45:05Speaker 3: I wouldn't let you. Neither one of you had not
- 45:07Speaker 3: to block either. I'll go down there with you.
- 45:11Speaker 6: Now, let me say this, what time can we meet
- 45:15Speaker 6: as I'll go down there with I understand, and as
- 45:18Speaker 6: a self actualized adult, I wouldn't have gave me my
- 45:22Speaker 6: I'm saying now that I know what I know, I
- 45:24Speaker 6: wouldn't have gave it to me either. But back then
- 45:25Speaker 6: you'd have been so lame to me, like man, dude,
- 45:27Speaker 6: won't get me here. But now, if I were you,
- 45:30Speaker 6: I would have looked at me like Kenny crazy. I
- 45:33Speaker 6: think anybody would make him responsible for anything that mattered?
- 45:37Speaker 3: Yeah I don't. I don't. Yeah I wouldn't. Now that
- 45:39Speaker 3: wouldn't mean I can meet you down there, though, if
- 45:42Speaker 3: you need that unrivaled the league that Breonna Stewart and
- 45:45Speaker 3: professor call you has started this month. Uh, the Three
- 45:49Speaker 3: on three Women's Basketball League. Their their numbers are down.
- 45:53Speaker 3: They had a good opening week, uh opening night, but
- 45:57Speaker 3: since then the numbers are down. And it's with the
- 46:00Speaker 3: NBA first of all, the juggernaut that they call the
- 46:04Speaker 3: NFL and the juggernaut that they call college football. You
- 46:09Speaker 3: people that's going to these board meetings, you gotta start there.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Everything has to be refashioned in this country. Football in
- 46:18Speaker 3: this country has become what soccer is to a lot
- 46:22Speaker 3: of other countries that we don't have that fever for right.
- 46:29Speaker 3: You know how we know the two or three soccer
- 46:31Speaker 3: stars in the world, but barely barely. But and if
- 46:38Speaker 3: we stepped into Europe, right there's soccer stars everybody walking
- 46:44Speaker 3: around with a soccer jersey on, and we have no
- 46:47Speaker 3: clue who they are. That's what football has become on
- 46:50Speaker 3: the on the college and the pro level. And I've
- 46:54Speaker 3: said this several times, even starting a league, why would
- 46:59Speaker 3: you start a league in January versus the power of
- 47:08Speaker 3: college football? And if why would you.
- 47:11Speaker 6: Even do that in the heated part of college and
- 47:15Speaker 6: NFL football, the part where it really get good. You
- 47:17Speaker 6: couldn't start this neck right after the super.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Bowl, right after. I ain't a couple of weeks the
- 47:22Speaker 3: weekend after the super Bowl. Super bowls February ninth. Our
- 47:26Speaker 3: season starts February thirteen, But you got catchers and pictures
- 47:31Speaker 3: reporting the spring training. Though I can compete against to
- 47:34Speaker 3: watch it spring training, I'm saying, especially spring training, I
- 47:40Speaker 3: can get a good half of the season in before
- 47:42Speaker 3: baseball even really catches. In Baseball typically doesn't even start
- 47:46Speaker 3: to say April first. I'm just saying that's typically opening day,
- 47:50Speaker 3: so I could get seven weeks of a season end
- 47:52Speaker 3: by then.
- 47:52Speaker 6: And unless you got a baseball package, you ain't just
- 47:55Speaker 6: gonna you know, surf pass the channel.
- 47:57Speaker 3: In most cases, I expected it. Now I haven't watched it,
- 48:01Speaker 3: and I'm telling you, I'm one of those guys. I
- 48:02Speaker 3: love sports, but three on three basketball, even when his men,
- 48:07Speaker 3: is not an interesting thing. I went to see the
- 48:10Speaker 3: Ice Cube League here in Atlanta as a novelty, like
- 48:14Speaker 3: one of those to check it off, check it off
- 48:16Speaker 3: the bucket list. Saw that did that, But I don't
- 48:20Speaker 3: unless it was somebody. Somebody would hit me like, hey man, Joe,
- 48:23Speaker 3: who's a good friend of mine, Joe Johnson, I would
- 48:26Speaker 3: click on, but if he wasn't playing, I didn't want
- 48:29Speaker 3: to see three on three? So why would I want
- 48:31Speaker 3: to see three on three women's basketball? And obviously I'm
- 48:35Speaker 3: not alone numbers and I'm saying I always have I
- 48:41Speaker 3: watched the first did you have you seen? I haven't
- 48:44Speaker 3: seen it.
- 48:44Speaker 8: I watched when I don't know when, and then and
- 48:47Speaker 8: then I started, and then and then I started watching
- 48:49Speaker 8: the tg L.
- 48:50Speaker 3: That's another one that's not doing well. Tiger Tiger.
- 48:55Speaker 6: Now, now you witched the women's three on three unrivaled.
- 48:59Speaker 6: I didn't even know it existed, so I'm sure.
- 49:02Speaker 3: It's the first year of it. Okay, just started this month. No,
- 49:05Speaker 3: I haven't watched you. We'll be back because I got
- 49:11Speaker 3: a show.
- 49:11Speaker 1: For the first class.
- 49:12Speaker 13: How I get around to borrow?
- 49:14Speaker 22: Just mess we with the drama unless you come in

- 49:23Speaker 9: Wayne Gandy stumming up.
- 49:24Speaker 23: Next, this is a Chef of Love Chef Gennard TV

- 51:18Speaker 3: And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy.
- 51:23Speaker 24: Center court on sports news, gossip, blah blah blah.
- 51:30Speaker 4: Blah blah, sweet jeans, a madeathing ism to desod, travel
- 51:47Speaker 4: the world and the seven CITs. Everybody is looking for something.
- 51:54Speaker 1: For some of them.
- 51:55Speaker 3: Welcome back to the swore Shock Show. I'm in the
- 51:57Speaker 3: swor Shock Wing. Can t Sadly Temple's student died after
- 52:04Speaker 3: falling from a pole and after celebrating the Eagles win
- 52:12Speaker 3: this past Sunday, eighteen year old Tyler sympathy. I want
- 52:18Speaker 3: to say, sabapathy. How do you say that?
- 52:23Speaker 5: Greg s A B A P A T h y
- 52:28Speaker 5: subopathy subopathy? Okay, we'll go with that.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Eighteen years fell from a poll and sadly and ironically,
- 52:38Speaker 3: because we do know that the city of Philadelphia has
- 52:43Speaker 3: been doing a lot of promoting of staying off the polls.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Even know one year they even greased the polls up
- 52:51Speaker 3: and I tried to get people to understand that it
- 52:55Speaker 3: was very dangerous. So you won't even be able to
- 52:59Speaker 3: go in to hold them accountable because they actually made
- 53:02Speaker 3: an effort to tell you don't get up on the
- 53:07Speaker 3: you know, they said it. They said it after the
- 53:11Speaker 3: first dude climbed the pole. The fellows so eighteen year old.
- 53:14Speaker 3: He was a student over at Temple. Bill Belichick says
- 53:19Speaker 3: the trophy should be named after Tom Brady Super Bowl Trophy.
- 53:25Speaker 3: They could be able to get enough air underneath that.
- 53:27Speaker 3: Seven times Tom Brady has won the Super Bowl and
- 53:30Speaker 3: Bill Belichick says that it needs to be now named
- 53:34Speaker 3: Now we scoff at that. But they changed a lot
- 53:37Speaker 3: of awards in the NBA to different players, name like
- 53:42Speaker 3: Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan Award, the Bill Russell Award,
- 53:46Speaker 3: trophies that we never thought would lose their name. Can
- 53:51Speaker 3: you see the Super Bowl Trophy called them? How long
- 53:54Speaker 3: how long has Tom Brady been retired? Two three years?
- 53:58Speaker 6: So he hasn't gone into the Hall of Fame yet. No,
- 54:01Speaker 6: he's won seven and the next closest runner up is who.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Like Bradshaw? You mean, oh yeah, I just like total.
- 54:14Speaker 6: No, I'm saying that's playing now. Anybody mahomes mahomes with
- 54:19Speaker 6: three with three? So and how many years you think
- 54:22Speaker 6: he's got?
- 54:24Speaker 5: He probably got at least ten more years.
- 54:26Speaker 6: So my conventional wisdom would say that tom Brady's winning
- 54:33Speaker 6: seven and changing the name of the trophy has merit.
- 54:37Speaker 6: But he hadn't been out the game long enough to
- 54:40Speaker 6: solidify that that's insurmountable, that that's an insurmountable enough feat
- 54:46Speaker 6: that nobody else can do this or hasn't done it
- 54:49Speaker 6: for a generally.
- 54:50Speaker 3: So what was what was the cuacteria for it to
- 54:52Speaker 3: be named?
- 54:52Speaker 8: Even though Lombardy was the first Green Bay was the
- 54:56Speaker 8: first winner of Super Yeah, so what just because you
- 55:00Speaker 8: were the first winner, were supposed to name.
- 55:01Speaker 3: It after you?
- 55:02Speaker 6: I think that the first of anything is significant, sir,
- 55:05Speaker 6: Before me, there was none. I don't know what will
- 55:08Speaker 6: come after, but I remember that the first time we
- 55:11Speaker 6: played a Super Bowl, I wanted we never had what
- 55:15Speaker 6: we called the Super It was just called guys playing
- 55:17Speaker 6: football before that, but now we call it Super Bowl.
- 55:20Speaker 3: And I won, but.
- 55:23Speaker 8: Came out and won seven of those trophies as the
- 55:26Speaker 8: leader of that exactly. And he just retired and this
- 55:32Speaker 8: and this is his coach. Now this you know, LOBARTI
- 55:35Speaker 8: was wanted as a coach. Now, this is not how
- 55:37Speaker 8: many does Brad shall have for.
- 55:42Speaker 3: Haley? Excuse me? It has more than that. I always
- 55:46Speaker 3: have thought is some things become iconic. It's not so
- 55:55Speaker 3: much that other people won't surpass it as though, as
- 56:00Speaker 3: much as it is. The thing that you're chasing is
- 56:04Speaker 3: what the You know, Tom Brady wants the Limbardi Trophy
- 56:09Speaker 3: because of the significance of the halving years or whatever.
- 56:13Speaker 3: It's been seventy how many Super Bowls? Has it been? Sixty?
- 56:16Speaker 16: Right?
- 56:17Speaker 5: This is fifty nine?
- 56:18Speaker 3: Is in sixty Super Bowl. So sometimes things stay the
- 56:22Speaker 3: same because of the prestigiousness of the award. You changing it.
- 56:27Speaker 3: It's the Jim Thorpe Award. Now you now renaming it
- 56:31Speaker 3: to be the Charles Woodson Award.
- 56:35Speaker 5: Kind of waters down the next Now I gotta wait
- 56:38Speaker 5: twenty five years for people to start thinking that's prestigious, right, right,
- 56:42Speaker 5: because the award it's Jim Thorpe so long it became
- 56:46Speaker 5: its own thing thing.
- 56:49Speaker 3: Does that make sense?
- 56:49Speaker 6: That trophy and that's what them trophy. We're gonna call
- 56:53Speaker 6: it the Travis Haunter Trophy.
- 56:55Speaker 3: Now.
- 56:55Speaker 8: Now that goes back to like just naming, like military
- 57:00Speaker 8: aces and a lot of other things that.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Your political Donald Trump stuff we're not getting. I'm just
- 57:06Speaker 3: saying we're sticking on the sports, you know, so things
- 57:10Speaker 3: like that that if it stays too long, you start
- 57:15Speaker 3: being that people really want to go to lambeau Field.
- 57:22Speaker 7: Right.
- 57:24Speaker 3: That's why Green Bay people in Chicago are upset that
- 57:28Speaker 3: Soldier Field. People didn't like that Pittsburgh stopped.
- 57:33Speaker 5: Playing in Three Rivers, right, and we definitely the new
- 57:39Speaker 5: stadium to still be called Three Rivers.
- 57:43Speaker 3: They didn't care. It's not about the stadium as the building,
- 57:46Speaker 3: but the name posed to echo through time. You know
- 57:51Speaker 3: when you hear a lot about the Yankees and that
- 57:54Speaker 3: some of the different championships in the venues, but they
- 57:58Speaker 3: don't play there anymore. Based on what periodical table or
- 58:02Speaker 3: periodical piece you're watching, Jackie Robinson was playing in such
- 58:08Speaker 3: and such stadium, right, and then you moved it over
- 58:12Speaker 3: here and it took away some of the luster. So
- 58:15Speaker 3: that's what I mean. Like you know, some places I
- 58:17Speaker 3: have saluted Green Bay for whatever they remodel, whatever you do,
- 58:22Speaker 3: they still call it Lambo and some and part of
- 58:29Speaker 3: and it's still it's not high electrical lease.
- 58:35Speaker 5: Well, a lot of the stadiums that, especially if they're new,
- 58:40Speaker 5: they have a sponsor, like there's some company or brand
- 58:46Speaker 5: that's associated with it. Can't just be the named after
- 58:50Speaker 5: a person by itself, because you somehow they got to
- 58:53Speaker 5: pay for that.
- 58:54Speaker 3: Well, but that's the part, well that makes it so
- 58:57Speaker 3: more iconic.
- 58:58Speaker 6: Those sponsors appreciate the green people appreciate ram Bay.
- 59:02Speaker 3: People still they don't care. They don't want it to
- 59:05Speaker 3: be called the All State Field for the money rights.
- 59:11Speaker 3: They still want it to be Lambos. You know, iconic
- 59:16Speaker 3: with the Georgia Dome mm hmm. And now yes, people
- 59:21Speaker 3: they don't really know.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Where.
- 59:24Speaker 3: They know it's Atlanta, but they don't know the name.
- 59:27Speaker 3: They call it the dome. The bean call it the beers,
- 59:31Speaker 3: they call it the dome. Refer to it as the dome.
- 59:34Speaker 3: I called myself called it there. You're going to see
- 59:38Speaker 3: the factors play at the Dome. We'll be back Water
- 59:40Speaker 3: sports right after this.
- 59:43Speaker 5: You call.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I guess that.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Tonight, don't go away?

- 1:00:04Speaker 9: up next.
- 1:00:07Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:00:10Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:00:14Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:00:18Speaker 25: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:00:20Speaker 25: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:00:22Speaker 25: forever life insurance.
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: What about you?
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:00:28Speaker 25: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:00:30Speaker 25: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:00:32Speaker 25: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:00:34Speaker 25: the insurance informant.
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:00:38Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:00:41Speaker 25: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:00:43Speaker 25: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: The answer is easy.
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:00:54Speaker 10: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills?

- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Shop. I'm the Sport
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there and
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: listen to England Land. Come on you Greg the bad producer,
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Big Kenny All in the studio on this last show
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: of the month of January twenty twenty five. We are
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: rolling into a Pro Bowl weekend which now college basketball
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: starts to take to the forefront. War Eagle number one
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: in the country last night doing big things and yeah,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: I'm a ride on it.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: A long time.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: It's been a long time since Auburn basketball been number one.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Not to be saying for number one.
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: Yeah, we've done some five and eight, yeah, some twelve
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: and that was that was very few times we ever
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: sat on top of the heel command she greg, come on, baby,
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: you ready, war eagle.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Hit him with a war eagle. You got it. He
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: got it, he got it. I respect it. I mean
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: the seminos used to be. I respect it, but I'm
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: not saying it.
- 1:03:53Speaker 26: He hits you with that out of respect together. And
- 1:04:00Speaker 26: I'm not saying we're gonna be there forever, but right now,
- 1:04:04Speaker 26: right now of the mountain. Winning last night too against
- 1:04:07Speaker 26: LSU down there on the road. Je honey, Brunn having
- 1:04:10Speaker 26: a big night last night, twenty six point seven rebounds
- 1:04:14Speaker 26: or was it thirteen rebounds, looking like player of the year.
- 1:04:18Speaker 26: Pretty good prospect down there. And I, you know, Bruce
- 1:04:20Speaker 26: Pearl many times I told the Auburn people we had
- 1:04:25Speaker 26: to go get a coach. That was the only thing
- 1:04:26Speaker 26: that was holding us back and recruiting that we in
- 1:04:31Speaker 26: college basketball before even football, guys, fathers, mothers were.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Attracted to coaches. I want my son to go play
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: for Dean Smith. I want my coach, my son to
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: go play for Jered Tarkanian. That was a big deal,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Mike Skryzewski and on and on and on on on
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: John Thomps down to know all that was. It was
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: more of that than it was the school. You see
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: it now starting to happen with football more and more.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: That's why these guys have no problem leaving with the
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: coach because they really only went there. But when I
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: went to college, it was more you went for the institution,
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: don't care about who the coach is. But in basketball
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: it was always more of who is the coach, and
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Auburn never really highed. Auburn was kind of like, uh,
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: the Atlanta Hawks. We always got good, solid quality coaches,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: but nobody knew them in a big way. Even if
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: they had did a little winning, they still were more
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: the top assistant from the winning team.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: And then and then coach you guys like you know
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: and celebrities, uh, the Bobby Knights, the you know. That's why, Yeah,
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: they began to just it wasn't even really about the
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: university anymore.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: It's about that coach being at that university. And that's
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: why when they went and got Bruce Pearl, it was
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: I was like, we're gonna start winning now. I don't
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: know how much I knew he this Pearl had a name,
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: and even though it was jaded as far as payment,
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: he still was a good coach. Knows how to go
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: in the house and talk. Being a cricket coach doesn't
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: always take away if you're a good coach. And we
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: ain't and we ain't judging because we didn't off being
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: a cricket coach. Am I right? We didn't all Bruce coach.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Bruce showed you can see Bruce now and see his
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: disposition as a coach, that if Big Kenny came to
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: him and told him his mom likes was off, now
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Bruce Pearl gives you that or a now.
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: That he's the kind of coach that would figure out, yeah,
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: your mamain finash just sitting the dog. He's always giving
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: that off. So that's why it was no real surprise,
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: because he didn't.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: He seemed like, man you never agreed with, right well,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: sports jock, that he understand that mother's lights are off.
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: And if it was me, I would go down to
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: command you Gregg's Electronics store and I would tell them
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: how difficult things are for me. Those people help him. Now,
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: he didn't tell you that that man got the money
- 1:07:07Speaker 6: for you. He just said today the kind of playing basketball.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: You got fifteen switch location coach. Oh the command you
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: Greg Electronic Supply store on thirteen fifty two.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: They're one of our athletic sponsors. Oh okay, yes, I
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: was so That's why he was always a good coach.
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: And I was so happy when we got him because
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: I knew his name, especially in the Southeast, would resonate
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: some talent feeling like they could go to Auburn, and
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: you've seen Alabama kind of got theirs back on.
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: Track with first they started with Avery Jivers and then
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: they went to uh they went to Mike what Williams
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: who was at Indiana, who won at one time. And
- 1:07:49Speaker 8: as I said, with football, with basketball you got fifteen players,
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: it's a shorter number of mount And like you say,
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: it's a little bit more personal for that coach once
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: he's done winning that home and he understands that player,
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: it's a little bit more one on one time. And
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: and you and I talked about I remember what got
- 1:08:03Speaker 8: Bruce Pearl. I even said to you, I said, oh,
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: y'all about to make a difference here because of the
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: fact you in the with that he's that guy when
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: he was at Tennessee, Tennessee. He just is just like
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: they ran him out of Tennessee, but that Tennessee wanted him,
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: wanted him there, but at the time.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Because not recommending the Appliant store and just started bringing
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: their appliance right. Yeah, that's why they got about Tennessee.
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: He was doing good when he was just referring to
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: the cold down to command. You, Greg, want your mama
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: lights off? Hold on, go get me my two better.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: I'm gonna climb up on this hold on hooking up
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: people out junction.
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: But he's that coach and you knew he was that
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: guy when he's in the crowd with the kids doing
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: football season. He's there he wants to And when you
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: got a coach like that, man this, you got no
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: choice but to get the fans behind him.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Speaking of lights being off, Big Kenny heard your mall
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: over there in Cobb. Y'all aren't paying the light bill
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: over at the town first cause they closed around five
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: o'clock because George Georgia Power says that the mall owners
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: hadn't paid their bills, so they turned off all the lights.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: First of all, let me say this sports yoah it
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: wasn't in my name. The bill was everybody in your neighborhood.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Everybody keep looking at me like, are you just gonna
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: let them people?
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: They didn't come to me neighbor had they come to
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: me out of said it wasn't in your neighborhood. He
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: isn't out in my neighborhood. And I told them people,
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: I'd have told them to at least put something on it.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: They sat back.
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: See that's what they did. They sit back on some
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: I'm gonna get it to you. I'm gonna get it
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: to you, and never got them nothing.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Do you think this is employed by the owners to
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: rush some of the other stores to leave so that
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: they can sell to a developer. Well, I imagine another developer.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Ever since the Braves moved over over there has been
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: wanting to get in there someplace, and they've just been
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: running the numbers. And I got a couple of stores
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: that just want, okay, no no no, no, no, no
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: no no, we want to move on Macon.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: But no, man, we make because now they're talking about
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: suing them, and they're saying for hundreds of thousands of
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: dollars of sales in the day, And I didn't know
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: they was making that kind of money, But so what
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: is I ain't gonna.
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: Pay annoying things that's gonna make you want to get
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: out of business with me. I'm gonna start letting happen
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: like not cleaning them all less thoroughly. Is that door
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: locked by your store? Are you sure? Because that is
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: prime real estate for everything anything that wants to go
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: along with that Brave stadium because they've already it's so
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: congested around it they need.
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: The Tanger outlet that is probably twenty minutes north of
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: that location. Would have chosen there had it been available,
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: had they been willing to give them that space, they
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: would have put it there.
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: But they've been.
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: Town Center's been declining as far as traffic for years,
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: but for somehow they still managed to stay in.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: Any of you that have been here in Atlanta to
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: a Brave game in the last five six years since
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: they've moved.
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: The mall that we are referring to is literally across
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: the highway. I mean, no, that's that's Cumberland. Town Center
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: is about fifteen minutes north of that. Oh that's not
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: town No, No, that's not just that's Cumberland. Now, that's
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: the one that I'm directly responsible for about fifteen minutes away.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Use thank you for that.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Yes, yes, and now, but again it's very prime real
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: estate location and for what distance you'd have to travel,
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: they are you know now it make a walk, a
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: pathway bridge across the highway.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: But it is still what's that little and I'm thinking,
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: I'm thinking with you sports job. I know, Cumberland and
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: High School and all that. What's that little mall or
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: that little thing that's right there?
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Is that not a mall? That's the that's like a
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: convention That's what I thought that was.
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: And I thought the gallery gallery of the Cumberland Galleria Gallery,
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: it's like a convention center.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: Now okay, I thought that was town center. No, I
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: did the Gallleria Center.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: And now that's why might be occupied twice a year,
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: it's probably it's probably eight thousand units worth of hotel,
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: it's fifty thousand parking spaces. Twice a year they're occupied
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: and the rest of the time it's just Pablo on
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: them washing money.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: And robbers down in Brazil are stealing cow gall bladders, goastones, stones, bladders, stilling.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: That's different.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: What is the difference, Well, the gall bladder is the
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: body part. I thought they were still in body parks.
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: The stones is what you passed once you use the bathroom. Yeah,
- 1:13:11Speaker 8: the stones come out of the bladder, yes, but the
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: stones is what you want to pass though.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: But that they wanted the key thing is to get
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: the stones because they're they're selling them for medicine, right, Yeah,
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: they have a lot of medical benefits and in Chinese,
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: Eastern European medicine and things like that.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: And they got to steal it. They was breaking into
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: the slaughter houses and stealing them out of the the organs.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: I guess how would they know if the cow had
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: the had a gallstone?
- 1:13:45Speaker 15: Need?
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: I guess you have a stone. I guess you got
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: to collect all the gall bladders to see well, I
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: guess somebody on the on the inside inside. Yeah, hey man,
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: they got goallstones. It says willing to pay fifty eight
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: hundred dollars for a single ounce of the gall stone,
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: so more.
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: Or it's more valuable than gold.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Accord that cows, that's what I got. I'm saying. I'm
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: trying to think of what one of my people still. Yes,
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: there they are called uh gallstones, that's I didn't know
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: that most treasured ingredients in traditional Chinese medicines they used
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: to treat strokes and hypertension and obit obesity. We'll be
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: back more to sports jock show in.
- 1:14:40Speaker 24: Trouble sting that effected to be as pure as an
- 1:14:44Speaker 24: infinite in the beginning.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: But what about Repinton?
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: What about the tension? What about you eating dinner in
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: the Devil's Killing?
- 1:14:49Speaker 11: What about Repinton?
- 1:14:50Speaker 24: What about competing the.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: Same sending over and again getting.
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: Joh't go a Wayne Born of the sports John Hill
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: with Wayne Dandy Yes coming up next.

- 1:15:13Speaker 27: they are. Well, if you think you could do better,
- 1:15:15Speaker 27: then get in the game and prove it. It's time

- 1:20:32Speaker 6: I'm gonna have to come off the top rope a
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: little back to belly suplex. You see what I'm saying,
- 1:20:38Speaker 6: Little figure folk, if I can get in in an
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: arm being made, you know that'd take up some time.
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: What's what's the finishing move though, I'm have to go
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: with the figure poat having to go with the fig
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: A fall Sports Jot Lynch from the uwe thirty eight
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: years old.
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: That she's still.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: She she kind of in and out. She she's one
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: of those shows up for royal rumbles things like that.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: I've noticed a lot of those women in that profession.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: They hit about thirty five and.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: They become the legacy wrestlers like they'll show up and
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: generate some.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: But the Bellatwinians and uh, what's the name, Chris Stratus, Yes,
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: they got about thirty five. And then I don't know
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: if it was more of.
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: Like the physical demands or yeah, it's it's very physical sport,
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: so you know. And then a lot of them have
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: noticed the proliferation of just pin up modeling. Just you know,
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: all I got to do is put on something sexy
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: and people will pay for that. I don't have to
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: do all of the flipping off of.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: A top rope.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: Got you shrip fraud ramp it down in the Gulf
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: Coast at a lot of restaurants, a lot of restaurant
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: goers throughout the golf coasts are expecting fish and seafood
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: and shrimp from the Golf of Mexico. But it's actually
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: coming from other places. So it's not like it's fraud
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: in the sense that the shrimp are not right. It's
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: just big I mean, commands Greg Line about his shrimp.
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: From Massachusetts golf coach. Now, I could see why people
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: would be upset about that. Having lived in the state
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: of Mississippi for decades and went to southern Mississippi, which
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: was an hour away from the Gulf coast.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: One of the.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: Things that they took pride in that they advertised through
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: their Chamber of Commerce is the fresh golf seafood right
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: out the golf They have fisheries and boats that you
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: can come down and see, and then they bring the
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: catch in and they sell it right there on the dock.
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: Used to be the traditional way that they did it,
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: and that was what they called authentic fresh golf seafood.
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: So now they're still having that on the menus.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: Cities with the highest shrimp fraud were Tampa Bay Saint
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: Petersburg in Florida at ninety six percent one only two
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: of the forty four restaurants in that area area. Excuse me,
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: that was sample. We're serving authentic shrimp from the Gulf
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: of Mexico. So they had been lined that you're getting
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: golf weed and also you something we say it was
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: to make sure you read or see this. They're not
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: the shrimp or shrimp.
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: It wasn't no like fake meat tofo shrimp shrimp from
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: it is that calif from Cali now exactly from Oregon?
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Is that literally matter? The people.
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: Ses, Yes, East Coast versus West Coast. It's a difference.
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: Got you don't know your brain don't know us from
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: South Dakota. So uh, it's just so amazing how our
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: world functions. Man, we're so into crime.
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: And think this sports you got to catch us doing it.
- 1:24:25Speaker 6: We didn't just come out and gonna look. Now, this
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: shrip good, but it's from Massachusetts.
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: We on some it's from there. And you know what
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: this was. This had to be a inside what do
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: they call it when somebody snitches from inside? Uh, whistle blower?
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: Whistle blower? Yes, who had to go and tell them?
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: Of course, that's what I'm saying, because nobody's out a
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: box and it was saying something and they man, we
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: su I thought we man, you gone bro.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not selling golf of Mexico. Shrimp there from somewhere.
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: We'll be back with more to sports jocks. You're up
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: for tom. I'm gonna test Sat now. We'll be back
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: right after. This's gonna have you sleeping in the clink.
- 1:25:09Speaker 11: I'm taking ATTENTIONPN on the seat.
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: Is that be I T I O U T.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: D using this guy just joh't bowl Wayne.
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne dandyis coming
- 1:25:24Speaker 9: up next.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: My name is Teresa Barber.
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: I was in the United States Navy and I served
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: overseas in the Middle East in Africa. Early on in
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: my career, I had a commander that taught our suicide
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: prevention training and then the very next day he took
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: his own life. Ninety percent of suicide attempts involving a
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: gun are fatal. My way of continuing my service is
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: to help protect my community by being a responsible gun
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: owner and by storing firearms safely. Store all your guns securely,
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: help stop suicide.
- 1:25:52Speaker 19: Brought to you by End Family Fire and the AD Council.
- 1:25:55Speaker 30: I always had to be so good no one could
- 1:25:57Speaker 30: ignore me. Carve my path with data and drive, but
- 1:26:01Speaker 30: some people only see who I am on paper, the
- 1:26:05Speaker 30: paper ceiling, the limitations from degree screens to stereotypes that
- 1:26:08Speaker 30: are holding back over seventy million stars workers skill through
- 1:26:12Speaker 30: alternative robs rather than a bachelor's degree. It's time for
- 1:26:16Speaker 30: skills to speak for themselves. Find resources for breaking through
- 1:26:20Speaker 30: barriers at Tailorpaperseling dot org. Brought to you by Opportunity
- 1:26:23Speaker 30: at Work and the AD Council.
- 1:26:25Speaker 10: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three
- 1:26:28Speaker 10: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:26:31Speaker 10: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:26:35Speaker 10: life insurance.
- 1:26:36Speaker 25: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:26:38Speaker 25: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:26:40Speaker 11: Life insurance was the last.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: Thing on my mind.
- 1:26:42Speaker 11: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:26:46Speaker 25: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:26:47Speaker 25: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:26:49Speaker 25: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:26:51Speaker 25: the insurance informant.
- 1:26:53Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family security.
- 1:26:56Speaker 11: No matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:26:58Speaker 25: No that I'm molder, don't worry about whether I'll leave
- 1:27:01Speaker 25: my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:27:02Speaker 10: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:27:05Speaker 10: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:27:07Speaker 10: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:27:10Speaker 10: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:27:13Speaker 10: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:27:18Speaker 10: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 1:27:22Speaker 10: or bills dot com.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: Player's lounge.
- 1:27:37Speaker 24: I've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:27:40Speaker 24: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: What about this boy shot show out this work shop?
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: Wayne Gandia j R. Smith says that Cam Newton interview
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: with a young lady named Royce read on Dwight Howard's sexuality.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: Is Hella coiny? Is what Josh not Josh but j R.
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: Smith had to say about this incident with Cam Newton.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: I did read on this and see what was said,
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: and I kind of agree with you, j R. Smith.
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: I didn't get why Cam Newton other than the idea
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: that Cam Newton wants attention that he would take this
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: route of an interview. It was not a sports interview.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: And I'm not saying whatever show that he does is
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: you know, he's claiming it to be a sports show,
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: but he seemed to be bringing a young lady on
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: that had a grievance with Dwight Howard. Roy Reid is
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: Howard one of his ex girlfriends. They do share a son,
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: and she went to being explicit about her actions with
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: Dwight and Dwhite's actions as a man in his personal activities.
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: I don't know if you've seen it command you, I know,
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: bad Producers sent it as something that he wanted to discuss,
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: and Big Kenny, you seemed like you might be reading
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: it right now. So I'll start with you, bad producer,
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: What did you think of this interview?
- 1:30:24Speaker 11: First?
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: You know, Roy, since.
- 1:30:28Speaker 8: Dwight Howard interacted with this young lady, she has been
- 1:30:31Speaker 8: in the news some kind of way trying to bring
- 1:30:33Speaker 8: Dyke Howard down through the years, and I thought it
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: was very unprofessional with Cam. I mean, especially being there
- 1:30:41Speaker 8: with that young man's baby mother and the things that
- 1:30:45Speaker 8: he went on to ask questions in regards during the pandemic,
- 1:30:49Speaker 8: when Dwight bought her to live in the house with
- 1:30:51Speaker 8: the kids because he wanted his kids around, bought her
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: and another baby mother, all of them lived together, and
- 1:30:57Speaker 8: she just I mean, I just thought it was just tacky.
- 1:30:59Speaker 8: I'm with JR.
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: It was corny.
- 1:31:02Speaker 8: I would tell Cam that myself, and I didn't like
- 1:31:04Speaker 8: the fact that Camp at the JR said what he said.
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: Cam say, hey, I'm not hard to find too, JR.
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: And I hope j R.
- 1:31:11Speaker 8: Smith finds him and they can have a conversation about it,
- 1:31:14Speaker 8: because it's something that needs to be said, and Dwight
- 1:31:17Speaker 8: Howards went as far as made the statement also say
- 1:31:19Speaker 8: Cam must be broke for him going, you know, trying
- 1:31:23Speaker 8: to ride along. So I am definitely against this. Uh
- 1:31:27Speaker 8: this right here, this is not This wasn't a good
- 1:31:29Speaker 8: look Cam.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: And for the for you that might not have read
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: the story, it was just stemming from Cam Newton on
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: his podcast that he does on Fridays called Funky Fridays.
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: He had this young lady, Roy schreid On. She had
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: a lot of disparence. She marks it really Cam Newton's
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: venture into Dwhight Howard's bedroom with this young lady was
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: the part that was tasteless. Commands you Greg like, very unnecessary.
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: I'm one of those people. I don't get this whole
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: curiosity of our society to need to be in people's
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: bedrooms like, you know, as judge and juror of what
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: they're doing. In this young lady, I didn't know how
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: she felt like she was putting the white down when
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: you are literally saying you were participating. I was, sir,
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: can we start there? Can we start there?
- 1:32:41Speaker 6: I have lived long enough to see people do deliberate, willful,
- 1:32:46Speaker 6: intentional stuff and then turn around and play victim.
- 1:32:50Speaker 5: The hell is you talking about? I said, bust down
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: and you got flat. I'm talking about all the flow away,
- 1:32:58Speaker 5: bring it back. You want to come back and be
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: like dude weird, no trick, we weird. No fus said again,
- 1:33:07Speaker 5: we weird together. No birds up a feather, We walked
- 1:33:13Speaker 5: like ducks, we quacked like ducks.
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: Wa wattle baby, we all birds shake a tail, fella.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: That's all I'm saying.
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: And Cam Cam, I'm not surprised because you made Cam
- 1:33:29Speaker 6: Ben lane, Cam Ben a lane, And I'm saying, but
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: no lames dow, lame star.
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: That's the next step that I was trying to discover
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: with us today is the Cam Newton because a lot
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: of people, you know, it's it's how he presents himself,
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: his idea of reinventing himself. Even last week he made
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: a comment about money and how he's going to explain
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: to his eight kids. It's that they're not going to
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: be able to do like he used to when he
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: was getting checks from the NFL hole and things like that.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: Just where is Cam trying to go? Because at one
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: point I thought he was trying to reinvent himself to
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: maybe be uh.
- 1:34:19Speaker 5: At least move up to where maybe a Shannon Sharp
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: is right. But it seems that he's he.
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: Trying too hard. He trying too hard.
- 1:34:28Speaker 6: He caught between being lame and goofy, and that's a
- 1:34:31Speaker 6: dangerous space. Sports John, You see what I'm saying. Some
- 1:34:34Speaker 6: of him wants to come across as informative and enlightened
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: on the professional expert level.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: I mean, I'm a Hall of Famer. Is he a
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: Hall of Famer?
- 1:34:45Speaker 7: No?
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: No, no, he's well super Bowl super Bowl winning quarterback.
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: No no, no, he went to the MVP. He's a
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: Heisman Trophy.
- 1:34:53Speaker 6: Heisman Trophy winner, so he has a level of expertise.
- 1:34:57Speaker 6: Oh yeah, he can reflect on that, but he he
- 1:35:00Speaker 6: wants the adulation that goes along with reporting. He wants
- 1:35:04Speaker 6: to be a Steven A Smith. He wants to be
- 1:35:08Speaker 6: a Shinning Sharp at the very least. Now, if he
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: could be lesser Holt, he'd be even more happy. But
- 1:35:16Speaker 6: the danger in this is he's willing to get that
- 1:35:19Speaker 6: at anyone else's expense. Some people go out Jake Paul,
- 1:35:23Speaker 6: Mike Tyson just make they self look goofy to get
- 1:35:26Speaker 6: the bag. Cam is willing to throw everybody he can
- 1:35:30Speaker 6: on his fire to fuel his sees.
- 1:35:32Speaker 8: Well, that's what That's where Dwight Howard said, the snakes
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: are out here and he's lame. He must need money.
- 1:35:40Speaker 8: And then there was a thing where Cam was saying
- 1:35:43Speaker 8: with People magazine. Being in the NFL, everyone knows large
- 1:35:46Speaker 8: sums of money comes to you in a short time span.
- 1:35:48Speaker 8: Being aware for the game for three years, I've chose
- 1:35:51Speaker 8: the checks don't come like they used to.
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: I got eight kids.
- 1:35:53Speaker 8: It hurts knowing that I'm not that can provide once
- 1:35:56Speaker 8: like I did, and hurts the thing that I'm superman,
- 1:35:59Speaker 8: but in reality, I'm just a man. So here I'm
- 1:36:03Speaker 8: having to go back to Dwight Howard again once again.
- 1:36:05Speaker 8: He's saying, dude, you're doing anything to get money or
- 1:36:09Speaker 8: is this You're just trying to go off of my
- 1:36:12Speaker 8: name to get your show. And then you're thinking that
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: he's looking at Shannon Sharp, Well maybe I can get
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: that Cat Williams affect that Shannon Sharp got.
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: You know, there are people who really right now are
- 1:36:24Speaker 5: he is chasing. He is chasing that, uh, and it's
- 1:36:27Speaker 5: through stuff that we see on the internet. I mean,
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: it's not anything that's necessarily mainstream. The main thing I
- 1:36:37Speaker 5: know about Royce Reed is that through being with Dawhight
- 1:36:42Speaker 5: Howard and then being on reality shows where she can't
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: even mention him by name, and but that's all we
- 1:36:51Speaker 5: know her for. But she but it's like she's trying
- 1:36:55Speaker 5: to forge her own identity, but we know your association
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: and you can't even use that, so I think, and
- 1:37:01Speaker 5: then Cam Newton using that also to boost his show
- 1:37:05Speaker 5: and trying to go viral, trying to create that Cat
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: Williams moment, and but it's all it's all in a
- 1:37:12Speaker 5: cheap way.
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: But as big I think all of us alluding to
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: but in one voice, you want to come off as authority,
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: this Barack Obama, but then you jumped right back in
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: the mud. It's like you can't figure out which way
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: you're going to go. One moment, you want to be
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: in the hog pen and yeah, and I can't. Really,
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: he's supposed to be a victim because he got eight kids.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: Those are conscious decisions, camp.
- 1:37:42Speaker 6: I mean, I mean, and my thing I'm saying, he's
- 1:37:46Speaker 6: trying to say maybe that the reason he's doing these
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: things is that it generates income so that he can
- 1:37:55Speaker 6: support his children. Now, for me, I've always talked my
- 1:37:58Speaker 6: kids that character far more important than money. Now we're
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: gonna get to the bag because that's necessary. But you're
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: not gonna sell your soul. You're not gonna be lameing
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: goofy to do it. And all I'm saying is, how
- 1:38:11Speaker 6: is this helping him in his This is pigeonholing him
- 1:38:15Speaker 6: into the shining sharp lane. You're gonna have to be.
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: Straying for a shot.
- 1:38:20Speaker 8: Jamaha with greg with seeing Royce through the years, knowing
- 1:38:25Speaker 8: she's only known for being a dancer, had a baby
- 1:38:27Speaker 8: by Dwight Howard, She's been on realities, reality shows, fighting
- 1:38:31Speaker 8: and different things, and then for.
- 1:38:33Speaker 3: Well, the biggest thing of all of this, as we
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: go to break, is that the day in which Dwhite
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: Howard owned and told you.
- 1:38:47Speaker 15: I do me.
- 1:38:50Speaker 5: He killed all of these stores, all of these stores. Hey,
- 1:38:54Speaker 5: I ran little shot him down, but he was willing
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: he when he went. I took him down through and
- 1:39:01Speaker 5: manned up. And before I paid this change to you,
- 1:39:04Speaker 5: I tell you, I took him down through there. I
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: took little buddy up through there.
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: He was with it. So what are you You're not
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: outing him.
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: At this moment, He's already own you reaching Charles baby,
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: So I don't know Cam we I mean, I I
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: do Cam.
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: You lame and you and I ain't hard to find
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: either play.
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: Can't you send yourself?
- 1:39:41Speaker 3: I don't boy?

- 1:41:57Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy.
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: H come on, cam War Eagle baby. I mean there's
- 1:42:04Speaker 5: other ways. There's other ways. There there's other plights, there's
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: other you know. You you have the look, yeah, the heisman,
- 1:42:14Speaker 5: but there is a be the boys on, you know,
- 1:42:19Speaker 5: trying to get there this way, this salacious way, and
- 1:42:24Speaker 5: I don't I just don't agree with it, especially where you,
- 1:42:28Speaker 5: as they say, the Golden rule doing the others.
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: You like them to do under you. Uh, we would
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: we would be reporting how upset you are if the
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: White Howard on his podcast that brought one of your
- 1:42:45Speaker 3: x on there and did the same thing to you,
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: and you would be putting out who's saying that she
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: might sensibilities to shifting Cam. Yeah, so it was unnecessary
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: to to mean to to try to go down that
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: road with that young lady who you as Greg and
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: bad producer saying that's her laying anyway, that is her life.
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: Oh she she wants to vent and victimize and things
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: like that. And I definitely don't get how the White's wrong,
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: but you there in the room with him doing it.
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: But only he wrong though, And Kenny before you're saying
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: the dude from Abercrob being fitched, don't understand, And Harvey
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: Weinstein and Kelly and Diddy all of them on some
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: but Wayne, you handed me the pills.
- 1:43:32Speaker 8: But see, and this is what gets me with Cam.
- 1:43:34Speaker 8: He's always Atlanta this, he's Atlanta Pride. He's Dwight Howard
- 1:43:38Speaker 8: is Atlanta, one of the Atlanta got Why are you?
- 1:43:41Speaker 8: That's what got me with him just going to Dwight period.
- 1:43:44Speaker 8: A couple of online comments, Charlie said that I as
- 1:43:48Speaker 8: for the Trump fraud. He says that who you're gonna
- 1:43:51Speaker 8: believe these days? He said, now he's wondering if those
- 1:43:53Speaker 8: are real chicken nuggets to Taco Bell No, And then
- 1:43:59Speaker 8: Jared Lloyd said, being lame and goofy work for Jalil White,
- 1:44:02Speaker 8: and I had to remind him as a fictional character though,
- 1:44:05Speaker 8: that was somebody he was.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: Playing Cam in his real life being lame in Goofy Yes, yeah,
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: show versus real life real life Yes, and Cam seems
- 1:44:16Speaker 3: to be really thirsty for attention. Yeah.
- 1:44:20Speaker 6: He out here saying it with his chest like he
- 1:44:22Speaker 6: really really promoting that. I'm willing to expose people I
- 1:44:26Speaker 6: used to be cool with. I'm willing to be and
- 1:44:29Speaker 6: now I am in the entertainment business. And now the
- 1:44:34Speaker 6: wave is that reality TV TMZ type tabloid journalism. Well,
- 1:44:41Speaker 6: I've walked away from so many of those types of
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: projects because what I look like trying to out somebody.
- 1:44:48Speaker 6: The only fact that I live out loud, like you say,
- 1:44:51Speaker 6: takes the joke away.
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: When it comes to me.
- 1:44:53Speaker 6: I ain't worried about you exposing me because you can
- 1:44:55Speaker 6: get all that through Freedom of Information Act.
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying. But these other people are
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: willing to do it to camp and we'll put it
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: to bed on This is that you saying you got
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: eight kids, you're thirty five years old. We kind of
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: passed the whole. I ain't hard to find stage, Yeah,
- 1:45:16Speaker 3: because what if he come looking for you and you
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: got your kids with you. That's twenty two and no
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: kids that ain't thirty five and eight kids? You want
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: them to have somebody with you. That wasn't a good
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: moment when you was fighting those guys at the youth camp.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: Whether you were defending yourself or not last summer, that's
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: still not a good look. It really isn't your kids
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: seeing you that. Whatever environment you're setting yourself in, you
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: you look like a clown. I haven't forgotten that you
- 1:45:52Speaker 3: find some guys at a youth camp trying to be
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: a father figure. Came tell the youth camp the sponsor.
- 1:45:59Speaker 5: To you Cam, you were just looking for opponents, So
- 1:46:04Speaker 5: killer Cam new and I tell you, y'all guys are
- 1:46:07Speaker 5: funy bad producer, but at least even the bad producer
- 1:46:11Speaker 5: can't find it, so it must be wrong if he
- 1:46:14Speaker 5: can't sit here and justify this. I can't.
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: I mean, I did wrong being cam all and I've
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: always been cool with wrong, but not today. Jimmy Butler
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: for some reason went to Miami Heat practice and then left.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: They suspended him again in the time, just to owner
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: GM pat Riley Eric Spostra kind of work out a
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: deal until the trade is made that there's no need
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: to continue to try to make it. They say he's
- 1:46:53Speaker 3: suspended indefinitely.
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: Now, now, you guys made me aware of the fact
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: that I can't just suspend you, and that they CBA
- 1:47:02Speaker 6: dictates how long each suspension can be. It also must
- 1:47:06Speaker 6: have some guidance in there for continued issues, because now
- 1:47:11Speaker 6: he's been suspended indefinitely. So either they breaking the rule
- 1:47:15Speaker 6: or whatever it is, we willing to just send you
- 1:47:18Speaker 6: home and pay you till we can get rid of you.
- 1:47:21Speaker 6: And for me, I would have just went on got
- 1:47:25Speaker 6: rid of you. I don't want you know where you
- 1:47:26Speaker 6: don't want to be, and I'm sure I want something
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: for you. But now you're costing us more than we're
- 1:47:31Speaker 6: hoping to get you. See what I'm saying, I don't understand.
- 1:47:35Speaker 6: And Jimmy Butler, you ain't helping yourself.
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: And both of these situations, and the thing too, I
- 1:47:40Speaker 3: guess I don't like that is both parties, most likely
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: in a calm, reasonable mind, are right. The Miami Heat
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: have a player that's thirty six, thirty whatever right in there.
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: He's on the last couple of months of his contract.
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: They are not necessarily want to bring you back.
- 1:48:05Speaker 31: Come on, man, you retirement age, you thirty five, thirty six,
- 1:48:10Speaker 31: you want to move on. But sometimes this is where
- 1:48:13Speaker 31: it is some guys. Sometimes you're just gonna have to
- 1:48:16Speaker 31: ride out and when the income the end come right,
- 1:48:21Speaker 31: I'm not gonna do you no favor, and you ain't
- 1:48:23Speaker 31: gonna do me no favor. And it seems that Jimmy
- 1:48:27Speaker 31: felt like the Heat was gonna do him a favor
- 1:48:30Speaker 31: of comanchie and get him out of there.
- 1:48:34Speaker 5: Now, this was the deal, this is what we had,
- 1:48:37Speaker 5: and they were just holding to what we had. We
- 1:48:41Speaker 5: we got you into the wayoffs. We're gonna pay you
- 1:48:44Speaker 5: what we said you. You ain't never gonna be laid
- 1:48:47Speaker 5: on a check.
- 1:48:47Speaker 6: We're gonna give you everything you supposed to get, and
- 1:48:50Speaker 6: when our time together comes to an end, we're gonna
- 1:48:53Speaker 6: slap five. We're gonna chunk the deuce and everybody gonna
- 1:48:55Speaker 6: go home happy.
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: But you was on some now.
- 1:48:59Speaker 6: But ain't y'all gonna get me a golden par What
- 1:49:02Speaker 6: now you canna afford your own parachute?
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: Sir?
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: Yeah? Every so often everything doesn't go coom by y'all.
- 1:49:10Speaker 3: Sometimes you get treated like an employee, but you thought
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: you was a son. It's just business. That's that's y'll.
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: Sometimes it's just it is just it's a steinwaying songs.
- 1:49:20Speaker 5: Your laugh name Johnson, And whenever you start crossing that,
- 1:49:23Speaker 5: I don't care what sport you are in. When you
- 1:49:27Speaker 5: hit that thirty five, thirty six yard your mark, the
- 1:49:31Speaker 5: things are different.
- 1:49:32Speaker 3: Yes, your power broke your power structure. Now are you
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: selling tickets? You still have your fame? Yes? Can them tickets.
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.

- 1:52:47Speaker 3: big signing in the off season him to a long
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: time contract, so.
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: Definably one hundred and forty million. Remember we talked about
- 1:52:57Speaker 6: that earlier. They did release that information this dude out
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: for the season and just got an extension for.
- 1:53:02Speaker 3: One for in October. Caitlyn Clark said she will pass
- 1:53:06Speaker 3: on the NBA All Star three point contest. Kudos to her.
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: I didn't that circus act even last year with Sabrinas

- 1:53:24Speaker 3: So it should be her versus a nest Q at
- 1:53:28Speaker 3: the w n b A. But you so it's like, yeah,
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: I ain't selling nuggets at Choco Bell now, but they
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: have if you want the nugget.
- 1:53:40Speaker 6: And Caitlyn and Breaking News said that on top of
- 1:53:44Speaker 6: declining the three point shoot around, she thinks that Cam
- 1:53:47Speaker 6: is lame in Goofy.
- 1:53:48Speaker 3: This is what it says. I think that's a p
- 1:53:51Speaker 3: release that I've got to do some more research, you
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. But it's on possible. Yeah. She
- 1:53:55Speaker 3: said that she believes Cam is lame and goofy, and
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: you know, for for Kate, it should make sense. Oh man,
- 1:54:03Speaker 3: LaMelo Ball will be out at least one week due
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: to an ankle spring. We can't blame it on the shoe.
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: I don't think he's wearing those big ball of shoes anymore.
- 1:54:13Speaker 3: But something about the balls.
- 1:54:17Speaker 5: They're not getting enough vitamin D or something in their
- 1:54:21Speaker 5: system because they.
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: I don't know. Is there been a season that LaMelo
- 1:54:26Speaker 3: has played entirety. He's only been in league like five years.
- 1:54:30Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, that one year he made the All Star team.
- 1:54:33Speaker 3: He played the whole season for the most part. Yeah, Okay.
- 1:54:37Speaker 6: Do you think that some of that is possibly lack
- 1:54:41Speaker 6: of conditioning in that most of the time his dad
- 1:54:47Speaker 6: was handling them, like even when they had coaches, his
- 1:54:50Speaker 6: voice was the louder voice in the room.
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: Do you think that he didn't prepare them physically they
- 1:54:57Speaker 3: should have been. I believe in genetics. I believe that
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: there's a lot.
- 1:55:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:55:02Speaker 3: I think sometimes we discount that there are some people
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: that genetically the combination of the two humans that made
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: them gave him a stronger something about them than you know,
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: than others. And for it to be dis frequent. I
- 1:55:21Speaker 3: mean him and Lonzo, they have had so many injuries
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: that they take away the ability to even.
- 1:55:29Speaker 6: Talk about them, clown them about injuries, right, like you
- 1:55:32Speaker 6: just really you were worried about it.
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: We can't say when they are healthy, they are productive though. Yes,
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: that's number makes me more worried. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:55:46Speaker 6: When you get hurt, it's like, man, we losing that production.
- 1:55:49Speaker 6: But dude, nobody gets hurt.
- 1:55:51Speaker 5: Doing that is turning into an excellent super I mean
- 1:55:54Speaker 5: he's teetering right there. Some of it you start thinking,
- 1:55:58Speaker 5: is his uh into the action? Yeah, because he starts
- 1:56:02Speaker 5: hurting his superstar. He's a great draw for Charlotte.
- 1:56:06Speaker 8: Like you said earlier, was talking about some teams, they're
- 1:56:09Speaker 8: the people, the kids, they the ball name.
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: It's good for like an area like Charlotte.
- 1:56:15Speaker 8: That's that's you could get away with him being a
- 1:56:17Speaker 8: superstar in Charlotte, North Carolina. So I feel for the
- 1:56:21Speaker 8: Hornets with him being out because he is very productive.
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: For think about Kawhi Leonard. Since he started this consistently
- 1:56:31Speaker 3: being hurt time in his career, he's falling off the radar.
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: People don't know if he's in the lineup, They don't
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: stop caring, and he starts almost wing into Is he
- 1:56:44Speaker 3: a Hall of Famer right right now? How do you
- 1:56:46Speaker 3: do enough before this part of his career has started
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: to be a Hall of Famer now from the guys
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: that they have let in. You feel secure enough to
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: say yes, But he's had one of them. It was
- 1:57:02Speaker 3: a hot seven. But when the last time you was.
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: And see, I think what happens in the Kawhi's case
- 1:57:10Speaker 6: two is you started wondering is it really are you
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: really injured?
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Are you load managing? Are you playing? You know what
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 1:57:17Speaker 6: You come along and that group of people you lumped
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: in with or make some of that questionable. But in
- 1:57:24Speaker 6: a game where performance is rewarded, sitting on the sidelines
- 1:57:28Speaker 6: doesn't get you accolades.
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: So we will see how all that turns out for LaMelo.
- 1:57:35Speaker 3: But once again it said a week he's been out,
- 1:57:38Speaker 3: So we have to wait and see. On that Super Bowl,
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: as they say, it costs about eight million for how
- 1:57:47Speaker 3: many seconds? Thirty thirty seconds, thirty seconds? Eight million? Is
- 1:57:51Speaker 3: it worth it now?
- 1:57:52Speaker 5: And you want to cut out sixteen minutes of it?
- 1:57:57Speaker 5: You and Cam hang out together. I'm telling you it'll
- 1:58:02Speaker 5: never happen.
- 1:58:04Speaker 6: You want to eight million dollars for thirty seconds, multiply
- 1:58:10Speaker 6: that by sixteen minutes and you won't that gone.
- 1:58:14Speaker 3: You said you wanted a shorter game.
- 1:58:16Speaker 6: No, I said I wanted profit. You said that they
- 1:58:19Speaker 6: said they wanted a shorter game. We ain't listening to them,
- 1:58:22Speaker 6: but in these commercials, and they have been delightful a
- 1:58:26Speaker 6: lot of them. To advertising impact people anymore like it
- 1:58:32Speaker 6: used to.
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: Oh it still works.
- 1:58:34Speaker 6: No, No, I think the TV I think they watered
- 1:58:36Speaker 6: down Super Bowl commercials because they're doing previews now, they're
- 1:58:41Speaker 6: doing behind the scenes. They're on social media. Friend of mine,
- 1:58:45Speaker 6: gentleman named Mark Henderson, comedian from Atlanta, moved to New York,
- 1:58:49Speaker 6: was in the finals of the Dorito Super Bowl contest.
- 1:58:53Speaker 6: And they do all of this voting on the best commercials.
- 1:58:56Speaker 6: So you see the commercials in advance, you get to
- 1:58:59Speaker 6: go through them and vote on one, and it waters
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: down a lot of it by the time we see it.
- 1:59:04Speaker 6: I've already talked about it with people. We used to remember.
- 1:59:08Speaker 6: It used to be when the commercials came on, we
- 1:59:11Speaker 6: cut the music off just to watch the commercials because
- 1:59:14Speaker 6: they were that iconic.
- 1:59:15Speaker 3: And now they're not. Yeah, so that's a lot of
- 1:59:19Speaker 3: money for thirty seconds ad and they.
- 1:59:21Speaker 6: Spend even more on a lot of personalities that the
- 1:59:24Speaker 6: brands that you already know too. Yeah, Yeah, it's hepsy
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: Pepsi and Coke and Dorito's right. You just got a
- 1:59:32Speaker 6: sat Rocky and Rihanna eating Doritos and drinking pepsi. But
- 1:59:36Speaker 6: we've always loved that stuff and make you want to
- 1:59:38Speaker 6: get what's that? See, n I was I was eating
- 1:59:44Speaker 6: the bag already. Now I'm just going to jail.
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: Oh he's he going going to jail.
- 1:59:52Speaker 16: Oh?
- 1:59:52Speaker 5: I thought he would just be banned from whatever country
- 1:59:54Speaker 5: that was that he pulled a gun on the people.
- 1:59:57Speaker 3: They say he shot. Yeah, he going to jail. Jesson
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: he said it was a toy.
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 2:00:04Speaker 3: He's going I'm telling you the difference because usually they
- 2:00:07Speaker 3: because we didn't all pulled the gun on somebody. I'm
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: all right, we didn't all. Look, he's going to jail.
- 2:00:11Speaker 3: Rihanna just finally went to the trial for the first time.
- 2:00:13Speaker 3: We didn't know.
- 2:00:14Speaker 6: We didn't all shot. No, no, okay, he going to jail. Yeah,
- 2:00:18Speaker 6: he probably going to jail, and we are in.
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:00:27Speaker 24: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk

- 2:01:43Speaker 5: And I know y'all saw the story of the lyft
- 2:01:45Speaker 5: driver up in Detroit. Dey's Blanding who goes under the
- 2:01:53Speaker 5: wrap alias Tank Demos is suing the lyft driver up
- 2:01:58Speaker 5: in Detroit.
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: She was trying.
- 2:02:01Speaker 5: To get to a Lion's playoff game over at our
- 2:02:07Speaker 5: cousin's house. The lyft driver pulled up. I saw it
- 2:02:15Speaker 5: was a big body woman waiting for the lift and
- 2:02:23Speaker 5: decided she was too heavy, locked his doors, turned off
- 2:02:28Speaker 5: his lift like and throw.
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: Let's say his tires couldn't take it. He was a
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: la killah jos. He said, tires got the inflation on
- 2:02:42Speaker 3: the tie.
- 2:02:42Speaker 5: Oh I can't laugh because I'm a heavy man. So
- 2:02:45Speaker 5: you know, if you're skinny down, say you bully half.
- 2:02:49Speaker 5: But if you call you big man, your whole We
- 2:02:52Speaker 5: did all got locked out of uber am I.
- 2:02:54Speaker 3: Right and my right left? We didn't Demos. It was
- 2:02:58Speaker 3: too big and he locked his doors and turn the
- 2:03:01Speaker 3: light off.
- 2:03:01Speaker 5: Now I would have passed out laughing when I saw
- 2:03:03Speaker 5: the lyftlight like he don't see this lady standing there. Uh,
- 2:03:07Speaker 5: but he said that he refused to give her a
- 2:03:11Speaker 5: ride due to her weight, and now she's taking him
- 2:03:14Speaker 5: to court. I don't know who to win. I mean,
- 2:03:18Speaker 5: if he could prove that the car capacity is a
- 2:03:20Speaker 5: certain wait limit, maybe commands you great doesn't find this funny?
- 2:03:25Speaker 5: I mean, but you know you gotta learn to laugh man,
- 2:03:29Speaker 5: because he ain't gonna pay the money. It's gonna be
- 2:03:31Speaker 5: pay the money. Just picture somebody standing out by the
- 2:03:34Speaker 5: mailbox to drive right up and turn. He did all that,
- 2:03:39Speaker 5: He turned the light off, out the doors. Throw this
- 2:03:45Speaker 5: little driving in the in the ocean. They didn't give
- 2:03:49Speaker 5: his name, but he is getting.
- 2:03:51Speaker 2: Serious camp interviewing next week.
- 2:04:01Speaker 5: Uh dank demo, says the lyft driver told the next
- 2:04:05Speaker 5: time order lyft exl Well did he just generated business?
- 2:04:11Speaker 5: That's all an interview interview the lyft driver can from
- 2:04:16Speaker 5: from this push.
- 2:04:19Speaker 3: We'll see you in the future. Peace, not if you
- 2:04:22Speaker 3: beg telling the truth.
