- 5:31to New York City? Answer? She wanted to pursue a
- 5:34career in acting and modeling. Question. We'll talk about that
- 5:38in a moment, but for now, I want to focus
- 5:41on the years you talked about in Palm Beach, from
- 5:43ages fourteen to seventeen, when redacted would regularly go to
- 5:47Epstein's house. In the beginning, in the first few months
- 5:50when she went there, What kind of things did she
- 5:53do when she would visit the house when Maxwell and
- 5:55Epstein were there. Answer she would hang out by the pool,
- 6:00They would take her to the movies, take her shopping.
- 6:02She'd described behavior as grooming. Question. When you say grooming,
- 6:06did she explain what she meant by this answer, she
- 6:10meant that they were building a relationship with her, giving
- 6:12her things, taking her places, and then usually when the
- 6:15grooming happens and offender will once they gain that trust,
- 6:20they will make the relationship turn sexual. Question, Now you

- 6:42something she's described now, she didn't realize that at the time. Question.
- 6:46So now we'll talk a little bit more about grooming

- 7:01Generally speaking, you were touching on this a moment ago,
- 7:05but if you could just explain in full what is grooming. Answer?
- 7:09Grooming is when someone builds a relationship with a child,
- 7:12they find a vulnerability or need, and then they work
- 7:15on gaining that child's trust and then oftentimes gaining a
- 7:19parent's trust. Once they have that trust, they show that
- 7:23in ways that they care about them by giving them
- 7:26gifts and promises, and then once that's established, they then
- 7:29turn the relationship sexual, oftentimes making sexual comments and normalizing
- 7:34the behavior. Question Now, during these visits that you've been
- 7:38describing that Redacted told you about, did Redacted say whether
- 7:42Epstein ever give her anything? Answer? Yes, she did. Question
- 7:46what did he give her? Answer? He gave her cash.
- 7:49Sometimes he tell her to give the cash to her
- 7:51mom because he knew that she needed it. He paid
- 7:54for her voice lessons as well. Question Now you're describing
- 7:59how Redacted was characterized these visits, but based on your
- 8:02conversations with her at the time, did she feel that
- 8:05these visits were strange at all? Answer? She thought they
- 8:09were strange, but Maxwell normalized it for her. She was
- 8:13like a cool older sister and made comments like this
- 8:16is what grown ups do. Question you use the phrase
- 8:20cool older sister? Is that a phrase that Redacted used
- 8:23to describe how she felt about Maxwell at the time
- 8:26and what Maxwell was like? Answer? Yes, those are her words.
- 8:31Question did there come a time these visits when Redacted
- 8:34saw Maxwell topless by the pool? Answer yes. Question, and
- 8:38what did she tell you about that? Answer, she was
- 8:41a little taken aback, but Maxwell just acted normal. Did

- 9:18not be approved. When she asked what that meant, he
- 9:21pulled her in his lab and masturbated. Question What was

- 9:46digitally penetrating redacted? Answer yes. Question did it include Epstein
- 9:51using a vibrator on her? Answer yes. Question did she
- 9:55describe to you that there were times when Epstein would
- 9:58direct Redacted to while he masturbated. Answer yes. Question, did
- 10:05Redacted explain to you what her memories are like of
- 10:09the abuse? Answer yes, question, what did she say about that? Answer?
- 10:14She said that it happened so often that it all
- 10:16kinds are run together. For that it's hard to separate
- 10:19out some of the different instances of abuse. Question you
- 10:23are describing how Redacted explained to you that the abuse began.
- 10:27Did that occur based on what Redacted told you within
- 10:30the first year that she met Epstein and Maxwell? Answer yes, question,

- 11:11They would generally start with one of the girls massaging Epstein.
- 11:14Redacted was usually massaging his feet. Maxwell was kind of
- 11:17teasing the girls, She'd grab the girl's breasts, and she
- 11:20would direct the girls on what to do. Question when
