- 0:38But right now, many of you who are new to these broadcasts here at America Out Loud News need to know that uh this is the news network that provides commentary and analysis grounded in factual reporting.
- 0:53That's right.
- 0:54Our host of these broadcasts here at AmericaAloud.news, uh, do a lot of research.
- 1:00They get facts, nothing is made up.
- 1:02Uh opinions and commentary are based on facts, and that's a very fresh approach.
- 1:08Uh I was about to say, and that's a new approach.
- 1:10Well, I've got news for you, folks.
- 1:12It was the approach years and years ago where you would be given news uh via not only um radio but also on television.
- 1:20We didn't have social media way back when uh news broadcasting began, but you had real live journalists, reporters who did their job.
- 1:28They reported the news, and you were the ones that would decide what was truth and what was false, what was opinion and what was fact.
- 1:36Well, here at AmericaOut Loud.news, you don't have to do that, because we are committed to giving you facts, facts, facts.
- 1:43Nothing made up, nothing filtered, just lay out the facts for you.
- 1:47And uh I encourage you, I encourage you to go to America Outloud.news, do some research.
- 1:53You're gonna see a whole load of news broadcasts that America Out Loud uh uh actually commits to the uh people across this country.
- 2:01That's right, commits.
- 2:02We commit facts.
- 2:04We want to be a news network that advocates and that educates, and that's exactly what's going on here at America Outloud.news.
- 2:12So I welcome you to my broadcast and encourage you to go to the website at America Outloud.news and look up every single host, every single broadcaster on this network, and uh it's there for you to choose.
- 2:24Not only not only uh radio, but also podcast.
- 2:28I have been told that more news is broadcast and received and accepted by the American public that is coming to them via podcast and radio broadcasts like America Outloud.news.
- 2:41What do you think of that, folks?
- 2:43So uh I'm just so happy and proud to be part of this great network, and uh it's great to hear I'll tell you what, I say it all the time.
- 2:51It's great to read that title, America Out Loud.
- 2:54I think that's terrific.
- 2:56And I know many of you also feel the same way.
- 2:59Now, many of you, I'm sure have already looked at the videos regarding the attempted assassination of the president of the United States.
- 3:09I'm I'm defining it as that because as the uh FBI and other law enforcement agencies are doing their research and investigation regarding the background of this individual who attempted to uh kill the president and others are finding out that he did have a manifesto and that his target were uh not only obviously the president of the United States, but a multitude, a multitude of our leaders who were gathering at that location uh to have a dinner, and that would be the White House correspondence dinner, which leads me to this.
- 3:40Now, I've been on a number of uh television news networks talking about this issue, and uh I've got to tell you I have shared uh a few facts that need to be discussed by the uh obviously American public, but also by the investigators.
- 3:55How is it that the president of the United States and the vice president and the top uh people in this country?
- 4:02I'm talking about cabinet members, congressional representatives, are all gathered in one place.
- 4:08How did that happen, folks?
- 4:10It does not happen, should not happen.
- 4:11The United States Secret Service should have done more, should have done a lot more to ensure that all of these top leaders in our country were not to gather together in one location.
- 4:24Had terrorist organizations realized somehow, somehow that uh the security of that location would have been as poor as it has now been discovered, uh God knows what would have happened.
- 4:35Many of us believe that if that individual had a very powerful bomb on him, or if two or three or four would have decided to come in and detonate bombs, we would have had a tragedy of unprecedented proportion uh here in the United States of America.
- 4:50So hopefully, as uh time goes on uh and an investigation begins regarding what I consider an epic failure on the part of the United States Secret Service.
- 5:01Uh, there are going to be some significant changes.
- 5:03And by the way, folks, uh back in the 80s, President Ronald Reagan had an event, I believe, at that location.
- 5:09If I'm wrong, please forgive me, but I believe it was at that hotel.
- 5:13And as he uh left the hotel after his dinner, uh walking towards his limousine, there was an assassin waiting for him who successfully uh hit President Reagan, uh, shot him, and uh nearly killed him.
- 5:27But uh police officer was shot.
- 5:29Uh, I believe uh one of the presidents, I believe it was the president's press secretary at that time was shot.
- 5:35An absolute, absolute tragedy.
- 5:38Another failure on the part of Secret Service back then.
- 5:41So there has to be some reform.
- 5:43There has to be something going on where they're not getting the training or getting the resources they need in order to secure a location like that hotel.
- 5:53Uh I I just am amazed and I'm still amazed how all of us, when we saw the video of that uh would-be assassin run through the doors of the hotel, run past by a number of Secret Service agents fully armed, and then finally brought down when he got close.
- 6:12In my view, too close, entirely too close to that uh dinner.
- 6:18And uh, I gotta tell you, it just uh what a frightening situation.
- 6:22I know all of us uh probably thought we were watching a movie.
- 6:26It looked like a darn movie, folks.
- 6:27I've got to tell you, Hollywood movie.
- 6:29Uh and I mean if you just tuned in, you'd say, gee, look at this.
- 6:32I wonder what the name of this movie is.
- 6:34No, that wasn't a movie.
- 6:35That was live.
- 6:36That was really, really uh incredible to witness and see and shocking, and we hope and pray to God that it never, never happens again.
- 6:46Now, there are things going on in this country related to, not directly to this incident, but related to the possible uh death of President Donald Trump.
- 6:57And what I'm about to share with you is disturbing.
- 7:00Disturbing.
- 7:01It is shocking.
- 7:01It is shocking.
- 7:02It is certainly aggravating.
- 7:02It is certainly aggravating, and it's something that uh, you know, we hope to God never never happens again.
- 7:04And it's something that, you know, we hope to God never never happens again.
- 7:09Uh, but the potential of this happening is real, and uh what we have to do is make sure that uh again, as I said, something like this never never happens again.
- 7:10But the potential of this happening is real.
- 7:12And what we have to do is make sure that again, as I said, something like this never never happens again.
- 7:20So there's a bit of information I'm gonna share with you regarding some of the uh things going on around the country, in particular one uh uh far away from Washington, D.C.
- 7:20So there's a bit of information I'm going to share with you regarding some of the things going on around the country, in particular one far away from Washington, D.C., but nevertheless, very, very troubling.
- 7:34Now, what many of you may not know is that a U.S.
- 7:37business owner has issued what I can only describe as a vile evil message.
- 7:43Actually, posted vile evil messages on the world wide web regarding the assassination or the death, I should say, of uh President Donald J.
- 7:54Trump.
- 7:56And the messages from what I read, from what I understand, have openly supported the death of the president.
- 8:03That's my view, my opinion, based on the facts that I have uh gathered, the fakes that I have seen, uh facts that I have seen.
- 8:11So now we have uh many, many media outlets are reporting that there was a there is a brewery or a tap room, as they call it, under investigation, uh a business here in this country, far away from Washington, D.C., uh, after promising free beer, free beer, folks, when uh President Trump dies.
- 8:33All right, so so picture this.
- 8:35There's postings out there on the world wide web where an individual company, in this case a brewing company, is uh offering anyone uh uh free beer when President Trump dies.
- 8:48Could you imagine that?
- 8:49I mean, who who in their right mind would do something, say something like that?
- 8:53Well, anyway, the business owner, also the allegedly posted on social media after this this horrible attack in Washington, DC, uh it's reported that he posted we almost got a free beer day.
- 9:08Again, what kind of sick mind would post something like this on social media?
- 9:14What kind of sick mind would actually uh even think of posting something like this on social media?
- 9:20But that actually went on, that actually happened, and I always encourage listeners.
- 9:24Listen, go on the uh worldwide web, go look it up, and uh you'll see that what I'm sharing with you uh has been reported.
- 9:31This has been reported and it's a fact.
- 9:34So now look at you might be asking, well, gee, we'd like to know the business, we'd like to know the location.
- 9:39Well, believe me, I would like to share that with you, but in my view, uh sometimes when you name a location and name a business or name a person who's done something as ghastly as this individual, as evil as this individual in this business, you got some other crazies out there who might want to uh take things into their own hands.
- 9:58So I'm not naming the business or its location or anybody by name, because there are some people who may react recklessly, and that is something we need to avoid.
- 10:08We're trying to prevent people from doing ghastly things like this.
- 10:13We don't want to encourage them, and we so certainly don't want to lead them uh uh in a situation or to a point where they will take things into their own hands.
- 10:22Now, there are media reports uh that say the brewery uh is owned by a politician who has repeatedly used its RAM to attack Trump and Republicans.
- 10:33Gives us a hint, I guess, that the person was not a Republican and not a fan of Donald Trump.
- 10:39And that doesn't say that the person was this or that, so don't draw any conclusions until we find out some facts.
- 10:45I do have some facts uh uh with regard to uh this person's political persuasion, but I don't want to add again uh to the uh horror, if you will, that we've uh witnessed over the past uh past uh recent days.
- 11:00So you got this uh you know report out there that the brewery, the business is owned by a politician, and uh has constantly used uh the brand, I guess the name of his own name of his business to attack Trump and the Republicans, and again offering free beer and who knows what else.
- 11:19Uh celebrating uh the death, could you imagine, of the president.
- 11:23Now it's reported that the company's social media accounts also uh have mocked Saturday night's uh attack at the White House correspondents dinner.
- 11:32Uh again, uh posting some crazy stuff.
- 11:36Like uh, well, and I'm reading this uh from reports, multiple reports from our news media outlets, uh quoting this that was a post uh allegedly uh put on one of the social media accounts of this business.
- 11:50Well, we almost got free beer day, and uh they go on to say either a brother or sister in the resistant needs to work on their marksmanship, or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle.
- 12:06We never know.
- 12:07I mean, isn't that crazy, folks?
- 12:09But there's troubling words in there, either a brother or sister in the resistance, what resistance?
- 12:13What resistance are we talking about?
- 12:15Is there an underground resistance going on to take out the president of the United States and some of the leadership here across our country?
- 12:23That's kind of crazy.
- 12:24Uh also uh alleging, and I've heard this over and over again, alleging that uh this assassination attempt uh could have been uh set up, could have been staged by the president of the United States and others.
- 12:39Could you imagine you got a Secret Service agent shot, the lives of thousands of people are in danger, and you got some crackpots out there now trying to spread some sort of uh rumor, uh, again a conspiracy theory that this was all set up.
- 12:54This is how sick people have become in our society.
- 12:59All the years that I've lived on this earth in this country, I've never seen or heard anything like this.
- 13:04This is really, really crazy.
- 13:05And it would take another broadcast or two to dig way deep, a real uh deep dive into how in the world do we get here?
- 13:13How in the world did we get here in this country where we're now on the air talking about things like this?
- 13:19But it's happening, it's fact, not fantasy.
- 13:23Now, several questions do remain, several, maybe hundreds of them remain at this point.
- 13:28Are these posts tied to the owner or anyone else associated with the business that, by the way, has been named in the media outlets across the country?
- 13:39I I refuse to name, I don't want to give any of these people any publicity.
- 13:43I want to give them any credit.
- 13:45I don't want them to get uh uh praise from people all over the country and on and on and on.
- 13:50I choose not to name these people.
- 13:52I don't think we should be naming them at all.
- 13:54I don't think the mainstream media should be doing that.
- 13:56The only time we should name them is when they get arrested and prosecuted and put away, if not in prison in some sort of a mental asylum, because these people are certifiable nuts, in my view.
- 14:00Prosecuted and put away, if not in prison in some sort of a mental asylum, because these people are certifiable nuts, in my view.
- 14:09I can't use any strain any more stronger language than that.
- 14:09I can't use any strain any more stronger language than that.
- 14:13So if this person was not, was not uh the owner who posted these things of the company that has been named or represents that company, then they should come out and they should make that clear.
- 14:13So if this person was not, was not uh the owner who posted these things of the company that has been named or represents that company, then they should come out and they should make that clear.
- 14:25Either way, media reports say that the posts are or were, I don't know if
- 14:25Either way, media reports say that the post are or were, I don't know if they've been taken down at this point online, and whoever wrote them should be evaluated for mental health concerns and reviewed by law enforcement to determine whether a crime occurred.
- 14:40Now, that's my my view, okay, folks.
- 14:42I I that those are my words, all right.
- 14:44The media reports that the posts were online, and in my view, whoever wrote them, yep, they should be evaluated for mental health concerns, and law enforcement needs to bring them in and talk to them, and if a crime occurred, they should be charged.
- 14:58What crime?
- 14:59Who knows, folks?
- 15:00I I don't know.
- 15:01You know, there's a lot going on.
- 15:02Well, you know, the defense of all these people that are saying crazy things is uh free speech.
- 15:07Well, we have the right to say this, we have the right to do that, we have a First Amendment.
- 15:11Yes, I agree.
- 15:12I agree.
- 15:12However, at some point in time, I don't think our founders ever imagined that people would go on uh uh massive campaigns, especially uh on the air now, of course, with no TV or no radio, only uh not even telegraphs, I think, back down in the uh uh uh, you know, the 1700s.
- 15:32I would say that uh what we have to do is understand that they had no idea that we were gonna have all of this stuff we have now, uh communicating back and forth.
- 15:44I don't think they could have imagined that.
- 15:45So when they wrote the First Amendment, their their heart was in the right direction.
- 15:49But I believe we are becoming victims of the First Amendment to some degree, allowing people to go out and to say things like, well, you know, we're gonna have a celebration over the death of the president at some point in time, you're gonna have a free beer, you're gonna have free this, free that, we're gonna have parties and on and on and on, celebrating the death of the president, and you're invited.
- 16:08You think the founders intended any of that?
- 16:11I don't.
- 16:12How do we stop it?
- 16:14I don't have the answer right now.
- 16:16I'm not a uh lawyer, I'm not a judge.
- 16:19I don't want to see the First Amendment curved in any way, shape, or form.
- 16:22But maybe we got to think about, you know, that old saying is you you you have a First Amendment right until you yell fire in a crowded uh theater, and then that does not become the First Amendment anymore.
- 16:34That becomes a criminal act.
- 16:36So those are questions that need to be answered by experts.
- 16:39Uh that's not my field, folks, and but uh uh as you believe, I'm sure I believe that something has to be done in order to rein in a lot of these uh these crackpots.
- 16:50And the rhetoric is terrible on both sides.
- 16:52Republicans, Democrats, independents.
- 16:54You know, I've said uh over and over again the the the one way to solve that problem, term limits.
- 17:00Get them out of office after a couple of years, send them back to to work where they're gonna be accountable to their bosses.
- 17:06They're not accountable to us right now.
- 17:08Before I go off on a tangent regarding that, uh I've got to tell you that uh some outlets have reported additional posts celebrating President Trump's death.
- 17:16There was another post that allegedly offered uh again another another uh free beer all day when he dies.
- 17:26Imagine that, and actually said customers could celebrate this impending death with one condition.
- 17:31Imagine that, another, another post with one condition.
- 17:35No red hats allowed.
- 17:37What do you think of that, folks?
- 17:39One condition.
- 17:40So here you're you're you're you're encouraged now after the death of a president or even maybe another leader in our country.
- 17:46Come to our beer uh location, come to our uh bar, come to wherever we're celebrating.
- 17:53Come on in, it's on the house, but no red hats.
- 17:57Which tells you what, no great make America great again hats.
- 18:02What do you think of that?
- 18:03Talk about the First Amendment, they're fighting for the First Amendment, but they want you to come to a celebration, which is horrific, in my view.
- 18:10Anybody who goes is out of their mind, but they're actually limiting the First Amendment rights of people to wear a red hat.
- 18:16Sick?
- 18:17Beyond sick.
- 18:19These people are crazy.
- 18:20Now, the person responsible for these postings, as I said, is sick, but beyond being sick, they're very, very dangerous, in my view.
- 18:28Very dangerous.
- 18:29They're promoting pure evil, and pure evil has no place in our nation or anywhere else for that matter.
- 18:35This is not uh unique here in the United States.
- 18:38It's uh uh something that's happening around worldwide.
- 18:42We've seen assassination attempts over and over again.
- 18:45Uh look, I can remember uh John Kennedy, I I was a young child, actually a teenager, when Kennedy was assassinated, then the attempt on uh Ronald Reagan, uh, and then here we are, several attempts on President Trump.
- 18:59Boy, I'll tell you, sad, really sad.
- 19:01And there are a few leaders around the world in between have been assassinated.
- 19:05Now, some athletes have reported that uh uh I I tell you, with regard to further review of the company and its owner, that there is a bit of a history that goes beyond anti-Trump messaging.
- 19:16Whatever that is, I don't know.
- 19:18I I I think I read somewhere where it was a minor situation, disorderly conduct or something.
- 19:23But uh apparently the police uh have had contact with the person responsible for these sick and dangerous messages.
- 19:32Now, there are reports that also say the owner has a close tie to a particular political party.
- 19:39I I was gonna name it, folks, but I decided not to.
- 19:42Again, uh I'd rather be on the side of caution.
- 19:44I start naming political parties, naming locations, there may be some crackpot out there listening saying, okay, there, uh now I know the who what one where and why, and I'm gonna take care of it.
- 19:54That we don't want.
- 19:55And if you ever hear of anyone talking crazy like that, you need to call the police.
- 20:00Oh, yeah, you need to call the police.
- 20:02I, you know, a lot of these investigations you find out later that, well, uh these uh criminals, they actually talked to other people and kind of gave them some hints as to what they were gonna do, and uh no one said anything.
- 20:15See something, hear something, say something.
- 20:18And I understand that some of these people who have close ties to this individual may very well be running for office during the next election cycle.
- 20:28You want to know who they are?
- 20:30Just go on the the world wide web, the information's out there, but uh if you're not gonna come from me.
- 20:37No, I don't want to be part of the problem.
- 20:39I want to be part of the solution.
- 20:42So is it worth asking whether anyone close to this person knew about the post?
- 20:46Yeah, I believe so.
- 20:48And what's uh worth asking them when you find out who they are, do they reflect support for violence against the president and others?
- 20:56Hmm, you think they're gonna tell you yes, I don't think so, but uh you never know these days.
- 21:00You never know these days.
- 21:01So the bottom line is this.
- 21:01So the bottom line is this.
- 21:04This is the type of a red flag that we are told not to ignore.
- 21:04This is the type of a red flag that we are told not to ignore.
- 21:09And apparently, the red flag regarding this particular situation is flying high.
- 21:09And apparently, the red flag regarding this particular situation is flying high.
- 21:16Nothing yet, as far as I know, has been done to uh bring this guy in before law enforcement uh to have discussions with him.
- 21:16Nothing yet, as far as I know, has been done to uh bring this guy in before law enforcement to have discussions with him.
- 21:23Maybe it was done, but the red flag is still lying.
- 21:23Maybe it was done, but the red flag is still lying.
- 21:28And you know what, folks?
- 21:28And you know what, folks, there's a
- 21:29There's a there's an old saying that uh, you know what?
- 21:32When good people do nothing, evil triumphs.
- 21:35Well, this is an act of evil that has been committed upon not only the people at that venue in Washington, DC, but upon you and me.
- 21:46I think there's a God above.
- 21:47I think that God has looked over the people at that location, and he continues to look over our nation.
- 21:54There's a scripture says that blessed is the nation whose God is our Lord.
- 22:00Let's remember that, and let's keep our country in prayer.
- 22:04Thank you.
- 22:04God bless you, and God bless America.

- 22:10I exercised, ate a healthy diet, and had no symptoms when a routine mammogram resulted in a cancer diagnosis.
- 22:18It revealed a hard truth.
- 22:19Even healthy people can get cancer.
- 22:21And much of modern medicine is reactive, not preventative.
- 22:25So I began asking a different question.
- 22:27What can we do daily to support the body before something goes wrong?

- 28:26This is Del Wilmer, inviting you to join me as we take a two-minute stroll through history on America Out Loud.
- 28:32August 8th, 1988.
- 28:34The Chicago Cubs host the first night game in the history of Wrigley Field.
- 28:40The first ever night game in professional baseball took place nearly 60 years earlier on May 2nd, 1930, when a Des Moines, Iowa team hosted Wichita for a Western League game.
- 28:52The matchup drew 12,000 people at a time when Des Moines was averaging just 600 fans per game.
- 28:58The first big league night game took place in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 24th, 1935, and drew 25,000 fans.
- 29:07The crowd stood by as President Franklin D.
- 29:10Roosevelt symbolically switched on the lights from Washington, D.C.
- 29:14Over the next 13 seasons, the rest of the major league parks followed suit, with one exception, Wrigley Field, which by 1988 was the second oldest ballpark in use after Boston's Fenway Park.
- 29:26For 74 seasons, the Cubs only played day games at home.
- 29:30Finally, on August 8th, 1988, the Cubs played the Philadelphia Phillies in the park's first night game.
- 29:37Ninety-one-year-old Cubs fan Harry Grossman was chosen to turn on the lights.
- 29:42After counting the three, he flipped the switch and announced, Let There Be Light.
- 29:46Rick Sutcliffe started a game for the Cubs and gave up a home run to Phil Bradley of the Phillies in his fourth pitch.
- 29:53The Cubs star second baseman Ryan Sandberg answered with a two-run home run in the bottom of the first.
- 29:58And with the Cubs leading in the bottom of the fourth inning, the game was called due to rain.
- 30:03This is Del Wilver inviting you to join me again as we celebrate history on America Out Loud.
- 30:23Of mountains, rivers, and woods, but it is a principle.
- 30:28And patriotism is loyal to that principle.
- 30:31I'm happy to report that American patriotism flows freely once again.
- 30:40America Outloud dot news is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outbouch.
- 30:56Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for joining me during our second half of our one hour broadcast here at America Outloud.news.
- 31:05Now, during this second half of our broadcast, uh I bring to you some good news, and that good news comes from the Word of God.
- 31:12Yes, indeed.
- 31:13Uh we here at America Out Loud.news, we even talk about God.
- 31:17Not many uh broadcast networks do that, but we do that here.
- 31:21We're not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- 31:24We're not ashamed to say, hey, look at uh we can't uh do things uh uh without uh divine intervention at times.
- 31:30And I could tell you, based on my life, uh my life as a police officer, as a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy, and of course now retired.
- 31:40Uh my the life that God has given me uh has been one of great blessings, and I've learned uh in that life uh through thick and thin.
- 31:49Sometimes, you know, we go through some trials and tribulations, and we ask the question, why God?
- 31:55Why me?
- 31:56Uh why does this happen to me?
- 31:58I'm a good person.
- 31:59Uh I I pray and I do this and I do that.
- 32:02Uh I don't hurt anybody, and on and on and on.
- 32:05And uh look at we're human.
- 32:06All right, we're human, and of course we ask questions when we run into very difficult times.
- 32:11Uh, but the fact of the matter is we've got to answer one question, one question of many questions, of course, with regard to our very own lives.
- 32:21And I'm gonna ask you a question, and I want you to think about it for a minute before you answer it to yourself.
- 32:28What is your reality?
- 32:30What's real to you?
- 32:31Now, is it your understanding that uh reality is shaped just by material wealth, professional advancement, social status, and other worldly pursuits?
- 32:43Because that's what most people will answer.
- 32:46Their reality is, well, I got a great job.
- 32:48Got a great marriage, have a great family.
- 32:51I'm advancing in my profession.
- 32:53Uh now I've climbed from this uh social status level to where I am now, and uh all these other pursuits that I've uh embarked upon uh as long as I've lived, at least in my adult life, I've been able to succeed.
- 33:08Then there are others who will say, Well, you know what, I've tried and I've tried, and uh I have no material wealth, and uh as far as my profession's concerned, uh, haven't done very well there.
- 33:18Social status, well, uh, I would be at the lower ring of it, people would say.
- 33:23And as far as worldly pursuits, what is there to pursue?
- 33:26Those are individuals who have given up.
- 33:29And I've got to tell you, you want to stick around for a minute and listen to what else I have to say about reality.
- 33:35Now, Webster, we all know Daniel Webster, learned about him in elementary school, right?
- 33:40The guy that wrote the dictionary.
- 33:41Well, he defines reality as a real event.
- 33:45Now, listen to me, a real event, a real entity, and our state of affairs.
- 33:51That's what he says uh uh reality is all about.
- 33:55And uh, I could tell you probably uh to shorten that up.
- 33:59Reality is simply what we can see, what we can feel, what we can hear, and what we can touch.
- 34:05Nothing more and nothing less.
- 34:07That's what reality is all about.
- 34:10Now, what we need to do is to understand that uh uh and and it's very interesting you know, when I look at what reality is, because there is something that all of us say we know about.
- 34:21There is a person who we talk about uh from time to time and uh kind of kind of share with people that uh we we do know him.
- 34:30All right.
- 34:31Now you might be saying, What in the world am I talking about?
- 34:35Well, here's what I'm talking about, folks.
- 34:37I'm talking about this.
- 34:39I find it striking.
- 34:40I mean, really striking that many people readily accept as real whatever they see, whatever they hear, whatever they feel, whatever they touch, right?
- 34:50I mean, it's there, right?
- 34:50Look, look, I touch a table, uh, it's real.
- 34:53I touch this microphone, it's real.
- 34:55But yet, but yet they reject the reality of the one who impacts their lives every single day.
- 35:00Impacts their lives every single day.
- 35:02Now, who in the world am I talking about?
- 35:02Now, who in the world am I talking about?
- 35:05I'm talking about God.
- 35:05I'm talking about God.
- 35:07Hmm.
- 35:07Hmm.
- 35:08Think about that one.
- 35:08Think about that one.
- 35:09On many occasions, I've heard individuals express uncertainty about whether God, who by the way, has a name, Jesus Christ, is real.
- 35:09On many occasions, I've heard individuals express uncertainty about whether God, who by the way, has a name, Jesus Christ, is real.
- 35:19You know, I wonder, I I I I kind of wonder why people will kind of reject the notion of God.
- 35:19You know, I wonder, I I kind of wonder why people will kind of reject the notion of God.
- 35:26Uh you know, well, they say they believe in God.
- 35:26Uh uh, you know, well, they say they believe in God, well, Satan believes in God.
- 35:29Well, Satan believes in God.
- 35:30He had a conversation with God.
- 35:31Remember that.
- 35:32Have you read your Bible?
- 35:33I'm sure many of you who have read your Bible.
- 35:35Uh Satan had conversations with Jesus Christ, even challenged him, challenged him to say, hey, you know, get forsake your father.
- 35:43You know, all right, he's there.
- 35:44We know about it.
- 35:45Bow down to me and I'll give you the world.
- 35:47So we know Satan, Lucifer, he that guy has a name.
- 35:51Imagine that.
- 35:52Uh he has uh uh tried to create this uh idea that he would be the king of kings and lord of lords.
- 36:00But Jesus rejected that because the reality of Jesus was not what he heard, not what he touched, all right?
- 36:07The reality of Jesus is not what he saw.
- 36:10The reality of Jesus is what, folks?
- 36:13The reality of Jesus was his Father in heaven.
- 36:16And a lot of these people often explain that they find it difficult to believe in someone they have never seen in person.
- 36:25Hmm.
- 36:27Think about that.
- 36:28I've had people actually tell me, well, you know, if I saw God in person, you know, that that's a whole other story.
- 36:34I mean, how can you not believe that someone exists if you are in their presence, that they're right in front of you, looking at you eyeball eyeball?
- 36:43Reminds me of Thomas.
- 36:44Remember that guy?
- 36:45He didn't believe Jesus Christ was in that room, that upper room, until he saw the uh marks on his uh hand, right?
- 36:53Think about that, folks.
- 36:55Thomas, the doubting Thomas, that's where that comes from.
- 36:57All the disciples said this is Jesus.
- 37:01He's standing right here.
- 37:02I don't believe it's him.
- 37:03I don't believe it's him.
- 37:04The only way I'll believe it's him, I gotta see the marks in his hand.
- 37:08And so today people feel that way too.
- 37:11They say those things like, well, you know what?
- 37:14I don't believe in God until I see him.
- 37:17Or I believe there's a God, but you know what?
- 37:20He's somewhere in outer space and he's not uh really paying attention to me.
- 37:23He's got so many problems and difficulties to deal with.
- 37:26What would he want to do with me?
- 37:29Now, how about this, folks?
- 37:31Here's my response to these people.
- 37:33Now, listen very, very carefully, all right.
- 37:36I answer their question with a question, which we're not supposed to, I understand, but I do it anyway.
- 37:44Here's what I ask them.
- 37:45Do you believe that George Washington was the first president of the United States of America?
- 37:51And most respond in the affirmative.
- 37:54Yeah, believe it or not, there are some who have no idea who Washington is.
- 37:58This is the times we live in, but uh, what can I what can I say, folks?
- 38:02Anyway, I then ask when they when they tell me yes, they they believe in George Washington, they believe he existed, they believe every single thing that they've read about him.
- 38:12So then I asked them this question.
- 38:14When did you personally meet him?
- 38:16When did you personally speak with him?
- 38:19At which point, folks, I've got to tell you, you get the deer in the headlights look, and the conversation typically falls silent, because they got to know exactly what I was driving at.
- 38:32My point was clear.
- 38:34The reality of God is affirmed by scripture, by reason, and personal experience.
- 38:40Each person who had a personal experience with Jesus Christ testified to his existence and his involvement in their lives, and they put it down on paper.
- 38:51Probably back then on stone or whatever they had, but you get the point.
- 38:55They put it down on paper.
- 38:58In much the same way, the historical reality of President George Washington and of many other figures we know through recorded history is supported by what?
- 39:08Written accounts or history books, right?
- 39:10Isn't the Bible a written account of the history of Jesus Christ?
- 39:14Of God in the lives of man?
- 39:17Reasonable inference and testimony of those who lived during that time.
- 39:21So you got the testimonies of people who lived in the 1700s, who talked to, hung around with, and realized that uh, you know what, they they got to write some history down about the president of the United States, the first one, George Washington, and what he and others, like Jefferson and Adams, I mean, that whole crew down there who wrote the uh Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, they felt that they had to write that down so that people in the future, meaning you and me, all right, in this 21st century would know that there was a person who ran this country, there were people who put this country together, and that there are a lot of guidelines that they felt that we should know about.
- 40:08How about that, folks?
- 40:09Now, I go back to the question.
- 40:12Why don't people believe in God?
- 40:14Or why do people believe that, you know what, he's just uh kind of a myth, or or that, yeah, there's a God, but he didn't do much.
- 40:23I mean, or he, you know, he's just there, he's just hanging out in heaven, all right.
- 40:27But with all the history written about Jesus Christ, about God Almighty.
- 40:32And I gotta tell you, folks, I don't need any other book than the Bible to find out that reality, reality in our lives is not only what we see on earth, but the real reality is God, because he created everything else that is reality.
- 40:51So it's reasonable to conclude, right, that Washington and others who uh employed writers to preserve speeches and good counsel and correspondence, so that future generations might learn from them.
- 41:03It's reasonable, right, to believe that.
- 41:05So why is it why are many people quick to question the testimonies and the writings of the apostles and the disciples and Jesus himself?
- 41:15Hmm.
- 41:16Perplexing to me.
- 41:18Really, I mean it.
- 41:19I mean, why is it that we accept that we can what we can see, that we can hear, that we can touch, etc.
- 41:26But when it comes down to uh not doing those things with regard to a personal uh encounter, I suppose, with people, we don't tend to believe it other than what was written by man.
- 41:38Hmm, with the exception of what was written by man via the inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God.
- 41:47So, how about Genesis 1-1?
- 41:49All right, the reality of God begins right there, because right there in Genesis 1:1, we see the affirming of God's existence.
- 41:58In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:00God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:02Do we need more?
- 42:02Do we need more?
- 42:04Do we need more than that than to understand that this is what it's all about?
- 42:04Do we need more than that than to understand that this is what it's all about in the beginning that God created the heavens and the earth?
- 42:08In the beginning, that God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:13That was the beginning of it all.
- 42:13That was the beginning of it all.
- 42:15No, not uh in the year this way in the in the year 20,640 uh years ago, not in the year one, but in the beginning.
- 42:15No, not uh in the year this way in the year 20,640 uh years ago, not in the year one, but in the beginning.
- 42:24You can't go past the beginning.
- 42:24You can't go past the beginning.
- 42:26There's nowhere, I mean, where do you go?
- 42:26There's nowhere, I mean, where do you go?
- 42:28It's just in the beginning.
- 42:28This is in the beginning, all right.
- 42:29All right.
- 42:30Here's the beginning, and that is the start of everything.
- 42:33So in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
- 42:36Now, this truth is affirmed throughout the entire Bible.
- 42:39The psalmists, many of them declared that creation proclaims God's glory.
- 42:45The heavens declare the glory of God.
- 42:47The skies proclaim the work of his hands.
- 42:51And Paul teaches that God's invisible attributes are evident in what he has made, leaving unbelief without excuse.
- 42:59Now let me get to that part a minute.
- 43:02People may say, well, you know what?
- 43:04Uh have never had an encounter with God.
- 43:06Maybe you have, and you just don't know.
- 43:09I believe everyone at some point in time has an encounter with God.
- 43:13And many times we just don't know it.
- 43:15We don't see it.
- 43:16We don't have our eyes opened.
- 43:17We have our eyes open to the things, the material things that man offers us.
- 43:21Too much of that going on in the world today, folks.
- 43:23You know, as we grow older, you know, and I've seen it happen in my own life.
- 43:27I kind of uh, you know, we slow down a bit, right?
- 43:30Uh slow down somewhat physically, and we slow down to a point where uh it's kind of positive where you will take a deep breath and take a step back and say, you know what?
- 43:40Let me enjoy what I see around me.
- 43:42Let him let me enjoy nature.
- 43:44I look at trees, I look at the grass, I look at the clouds.
- 43:48I mean, I start looking at everything that I didn't pay attention to when I was younger and on the go, okay.
- 43:53And I and I look at insects, I mean, those of you who are uh up in your years, you know, look at I'm I'm 74 years old, all right.
- 44:03Uh still got a lot of pep, a lot of vigor.
- 44:05Thank God Almighty.
- 44:06Um I'm healthy and I'm I'm moving forward with the uh different station in life he's given me with the military and with our country.
- 44:14And I'm sure many of you listening to this broadcast may not be 74 years old, you may be 25, 30, whatever age you are.
- 44:22I would say this to you there's a scripture that says, uh those of us with gray hair, and boy, do I have gray hair, uh, at least I have hair.
- 44:29Uh the scriptures say to take a step back if you're younger and to listen to the wisdom of those with gray crowns.
- 44:38Meaning, listen to some wisdom with those who have been around for quite some time, especially with those who have created a friendship, a relationship, uh what I call a real good, you know, brotherly love type thing with Jesus Christ.
- 44:54Listen to them.
- 44:54And I ask you just to listen to me for for a few more minutes.
- 44:58Don't let the reality of this life take you away from the reality of God.
- 45:05People will tell you to pursue good jobs.
- 45:09That's a good thing.
- 45:09You should do that.
- 45:10Pursue this, pursue that.
- 45:12But don't become enslaved to that reality.
- 45:15I've seen so many people, so many friends of mine who have begun their pursuits for better jobs, better education, uh, and then that turns into pursuit for money, money, money, and more material wealth or material things.
- 45:29And yeah, they get the big cars, they get to fly here, go here, go there, etc., etc., which is good.
- 45:35God wants us to be, he wants to bless us with wealth.
- 45:39He wants to bless us with those material things.
- 45:43So long as that wealth and those material things don't take us away from the reality of him.
- 45:50And I find it amazing.
- 45:51I I really do, folks, that I could talk to people about anything, any subject, any topic, politics, national security, on and on and on.
- 46:01But most of the time, when I bring up Christ, and I don't preach to people, I don't evangelize, I don't push this, you know, uh belief uh in in Christ on anybody's throat.
- 46:11I know when to stop.
- 46:13And sometimes I've had to stop in my tracks and and kind of pivot to another subject.
- 46:17But I've noticed a lot of times when people, and may I add some Christians I know, good ones, all right?
- 46:24This doesn't make them bad, but kind of cause me, causes me to pause a little when they tell me how successful they've been and how much money they have made.
- 46:35I tell them, well, let's thank God that he led you down that path and you've been able to succeed and you've been able to uh you know get a lot more uh money into your household, etc.
- 46:47etc.
- 46:48And I'm waiting.
- 46:50I'm waiting for them to share with me the reality of Christ in their life.
- 46:54Not a word, not a word.
- 46:57And I tell you what, I do walk away somewhat discouraged, thinking, gee, you know what?
- 47:01What happened here to this person?
- 47:03They used to, you know, engage in conversations about every subject, including God and the Bible, and now that's taking a back seat.
- 47:11Are they bad people?
- 47:12Of course not.
- 47:13Look, we all have our shortcomings, but I'm concerned that when I run into this situation more and more and more, and and so that's why I'm sharing this with you, is it take stock?
- 47:24All right, take stock that you don't let the reality of this life take you from the reality that there is a God.
- 47:30Look, and I I've, you know, listen, I've transformed from a person that was just like that, wouldn't say too much about Christ and God.
- 47:37Then I took them up on his offer.
- 47:39Come on to me, all ye who are burdened, and I will give you rest.
- 47:44My yoke is easy, my burden is light, telling me as well as telling you, your reality on earth may not be as good as you want it to be, or it may be perfect, but without me, meaning Jesus Christ, your reality is going to be short-lived.
- 48:00Woo, man, I'll tell you.
- 48:02And I've seen that happen to people on and on again, on again in my lifetime, with that reality of this world, of what they've attained in this world, is short-lived.
- 48:13I didn't want to go down that road.
- 48:15That's why I share with people there's another reality that uh I think about uh constantly, and that's reality that there is a Bible, that there is a word.
- 48:25Uh people say, well, you know, uh Steve Rogers, you talk often about how God and you have this conversation.
- 48:31How does he speak to you?
- 48:32I mean, do you hear his voice?
- 48:34No, I don't.
- 48:35I don't.
- 48:36But maybe I do.
- 48:37Ah, what do you think about that?
- 48:39Maybe my heart does.
- 48:40All right, my soul does, my spirit does.
- 48:43In fact, no maybes, okay?
- 48:44I'm gonna correct myself.
- 48:46No maybes.
- 48:47I hear his voice in my heart, soul, and spirit.
- 48:50And how do I hear it?
- 48:52Through his word, through that Bible, through what we see and what we hear, what we touch, what we feel through the word of God.
- 49:00Through the word of God, not with my hands, but what my ears, not what my eyes, but through the soul and the spirit that God has given me.
- 49:01Not what my hands, but what my ears, not what my eyes, but through the soul and the spirit that God has given me.
- 49:10And you can have the same thing.
- 49:10And you could have the same thing.
- 49:12You could have the same thing.
- 49:12You could have the same thing.
- 49:14For many people, God is experienced as personally real.
- 49:14For many people, God is experienced as personally real, not just as an abstract idea, what many, many do.
- 49:19Not just as an abstract idea, what many, many do.
- 49:22Uh, that's an abstract idea, uh, the thoughts of God.
- 49:22That's an abstract idea, uh, the thoughts of God.
- 49:25There is no reality there, it's just an idea.
- 49:25There is no reality there, it's just an idea.
- 49:28Well, it's not.
- 49:28Well, it's not.
- 49:29And you know what?
- 49:30Many people know it's not an abstract idea.
- 49:32And many people study God's word, and they can deepen awareness of God's presence in their lives, leading to an encounter with God.
- 49:40Hell yeah.
- 49:41You will, if you haven't already, you'll have an encounter with God.
- 49:44The question is, will you know it's Him?
- 49:46Now, that doesn't mean uh uh, you know, He's gonna come out of heaven and meet you face to face and say, Hey, come on over here, I need to talk to you.
- 49:53No, no, it don't work that way.
- 49:54But you will have an encounter.
- 49:57Something interesting will be happening in your life, where there'll be a detour in your life.
- 50:01There is the reality of Jesus Christ, the reality of God, the reality of the Holy Spirit indwelling in your life.
- 50:11Now, you might say, hmm, Holy Spirit, he'll never come into my life.
- 50:15I'm in such bad shape.
- 50:16I've committed more sins than than anybody you can think of.
- 50:19Uh so the Holy Spirit's not gonna uh come into my life.
- 50:23Well, I got news for you, my friend.
- 50:24He's there already.
- 50:25He's been there since the day you were created, not born, created inside your mother's womb.
- 50:32He's been there.
- 50:33It's up to you to well, accept him, and I tell people to activate him.
- 50:38How do you do that?
- 50:39Well, you have a conversation with God.
- 50:41You tell Jesus Christ, get along with him for goodness' sake.
- 50:44I've told you that time and time again.
- 50:46Get along with him.
- 50:48Start talking to him, like I'm talking to you, and ask him to show you the way.
- 50:5225th Psalm, show me thy way, teach me thy path, O Lord.
- 50:55What do you think of that, folks?
- 50:57The scripture portrays what can be uh both, you know, both through action and through deed, a strong relationship with Christ.
- 51:07When you recognize God's reality, then the call for you to get deeper and deeper and deeper in into having enough faith and trust in him that he will, he will draw you closer to him.
- 51:20Faith is a committed trust in God, period.
- 51:23Not mere intellectual agreement, not mere obedience to a particular doctrine, but be a willing and obedient friend of Jesus Christ.
- 51:35That's all he wants is your friendship.
- 51:37So faith like that, it engages the whole person.
- 51:41Yep, your mind, your heart, your soul, your spirit, and your conduct.
- 51:46And scripture, the holy scriptures portray it as evident in both action and a lived relationship with God.
- 51:55A lived relationship, meaning an ongoing relationship.
- 51:59God's reality is affirmed through many, many perspectives, my friend.
- 52:03Scriptural, philosophical, all kinds of, I mean, perspectives.
- 52:08Through creation's beauty, I mean, look at the creation's beauty.
- 52:11I mean, the scientific insight, even science is affirming the reality of God, and personal spiritual experience, which is a big deal.
- 52:20What we have in the Bible in the written word of God are personal experiences that people wrote down.
- 52:25And I've got to tell you, I've written nine books.
- 52:28All right, and I'm not here on this broadcast to sell you and market the books.
- 52:32I'm not even going to tell you what their names are.
- 52:34At some point, maybe I will.
- 52:36I've written nine books, uh, primarily about the experiences that I've had with Jesus Christ.
- 52:42And at times not even knowing it.
- 52:45But I gotta tell you, it taught me that there is a God, that he's interested in my life, and that he is indeed answering the prayer.
- 52:53Show me thy way, teach me thy path, O Lord.
- 52:56And you, my friend, you can have that same pathway, that same experience.
- 53:02All you got to do is open your heart as he has opened his heart to you.
- 53:06Open your arms, embrace him.
- 53:08As he opened his arms to you and said, Come, come unto me, my friend.
- 53:13You who are listening now, he's saying, Come unto me.
- 53:16Whatever burdens you have, your reality on earth is temporary, but your reality with me, meaning God Almighty, Jesus Christ, is eternal.
- 53:25That's where our reality should be.
- 53:28So take a moment and look at the reality of God through what he created.
- 53:32All right.
- 53:33Don't you don't have to go open in your Bible right now.
- 53:36Look at the sky, look at the birds, look at the seas if you're near an ocean, the trees, the stars.
- 53:41But most importantly, I would say, look in a mirror.
- 53:46I mean it.
- 53:46Look at you.
- 53:48Ask yourself the question.
- 53:49Where have I been?
- 53:51Where am I going?
- 53:52And how am I going to get there?
- 53:54Let that be something that you do.
- 53:57Uh, I mean that means you really do.
- 53:59You take some time in that you do within the next 24 to 48 hours.
- 54:02And then take a moment and turn in your Bible to the book of John, chapter 3.
- 54:07I'm not going to read that scripture to you, because I want you to make it a point that you go to John chapter 3.
- 54:13And there, there you will find you're going to find, without a doubt, there you will find the reality of God Almighty.
- 54:21That's it.
- 54:21John chapter 3.
- 54:23That is where you're going to find the reality of God.
- 54:26And remember what I've said over and over again in prior broadcasts, and I will continue to say this when people ask me, well, what is the Bible?
- 54:34What's in the Bible?
- 54:35What's written in the Holy Order Bible?
- 54:37I could tell you this.
- 54:38Uh I I don't have time to go through the whole definition, but I will share with you that the Bible reveals the mind of God and his mind is on you, my friend.
- 54:49The state of man, also on you and on me.
- 54:52The way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers.
- 54:57Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable.
- 55:05Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy.
- 55:10It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.
- 55:15That is what the Bible is.
- 55:18That is what God is all about.
- 55:20He loves you, he protects you day in and day out, whether you accept it or not.
- 55:25But that is the reality.
- 55:27You know, reality is faith.
- 55:29Reality is not based on the things we see, right?
- 55:32What's it's the Bible says, you know, faith, all right?
- 55:36Faith come up by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
- 55:39Faith is the substance of things not seen, not seen, folks, meaning that you have faith in a God you may not be able to see right now, maybe sometime in your life, he will reveal himself to you somehow.
- 55:51Look at when it comes to God, I don't count anything out.
- 55:54But I'll tell you what, he, Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lord, and the King of Kings loves you.
- 56:00And the King of Kings loves you.
- 56:02He wants you to know that he needs and wants you to be his reality.
- 56:02He wants you to know that he needs and wants you to be his reality.
- 56:07Right.
- 56:07Right.
- 56:08Let him be your reality, and you're gonna see blessing upon blessing come into your life.
- 56:08Let him be your reality, and you're going to see blessing upon blessing come into your life.
- 56:14There'll be train rainstorms, all right?
- 56:14There'll be train rainstorms, right?
- 56:16There'll be winds and there'll be difficult challenges that you'll be facing.
- 56:16There'll be winds and there'll be difficult challenges that you'll be facing.
- 56:20But the difference between now and then, meaning now, if you don't have God as a reality, and when you do have him as a reality in your life, he'll walk with you.
- 56:20But the difference between now and then, meaning now, if you don't have God as a reality, and when you do have him as a reality in your life.
- 56:32He'll walk with you.
- 56:33And as he's walking with you, you want some real peace?
- 56:37He'll give you the reality of his peace.
- 56:40After all, he's also known as the Prince of Peace.
- 56:44Thank you for listening.
- 56:45God bless you, and God bless the United States of America!
