- 0:00$16.00 silver? Is that where we're headed?
- 0:04Or maybe do we put a 0 on the end of that and make it $160
- 0:09silver? Sure, I'll get bashed for even
- 0:13saying that we could have $80.00 silver, but the prospects for
- 0:17silver look brighter and brighter and.
- 0:20I've got a big bank that I bet you've never heard of.
- 0:24They said something very positive about silver.
- 0:27We're going to go through a brief report that they put out,
- 0:30but it's good news for our friend Silver.
- 0:33There's so much going on in the world.
- 0:35We've got the massive BRICS summit coming up on August 22nd.
- 0:40More and more people are saying gold back currency is coming.
- 0:44There's even reports that the Russians have officially
- 0:47announced that it will be a gold backed currency.
- 0:51Things are going to get very interesting for us in the world
- 0:54of precious metals. Guys.
- 0:55This big bricks meeting August 22nd.
- 0:59Somewhere around there could be the day a a white swan event for
- 1:05the gold price and the silver price.
- 1:07Look, we may not get immediate. Response from the precious
- 1:11metals. We know there's a concerted
- 1:12effort possibly to tamp down the price to keep it under control,
- 1:17but the general weather conditions look like we're
- 1:21headed for a good storm in the price of silver and gold.
- 1:26Have you ever heard of a NZ bank?
- 1:29Come on. Right.
- 1:30Yeah. You guys, we're we're a
- 1:31sophisticated crowd. I'll be honest, I don't think
- 1:35it's not a bank. That was on the top of my mind.
- 1:37A NZ. That's the Australia, New
- 1:41Zealand bank. They came out with a very, very
- 1:45interesting tidbit about silver. Let me read this to you first.
- 1:49Just so you know who we're dealing with, bear with me as I
- 1:52pull up a brief description of a NZANZ bank.
- 2:02OK? Why am I OK?
- 2:03Here it is. No, bear with me.
- 2:09A NZ bank here, I've got it, I've got it.
- 2:11Don't leave. OKANZ Bank is the Australia and
- 2:16New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Australia and New
- 2:19Zealand. That explains the A NZ.
- 2:23They're a massive bank. They're saying things very
- 2:26positive about silver and we're going to get right to that.
- 2:29It's an Australian multinational banking and financial services
- 2:32company headquartered in Melbourne, Vic.
- 2:36It is Australia's second largest bank by assets, OK.
- 2:41The second largest bank in Australia.
- 2:44Some of you might be joining me from Australia.
- 2:46It's early morning right now here in the United States.
- 2:49If you're from Australia, have you heard of A and Z Bank?
- 2:52I imagine you have, it's probably like Bank of America.
- 2:56Here in the United States or Citigroup or our favorite bank
- 2:59that we all love so much, JP Morgan and our good friend Jamie
- 3:04Dimon. You know what?
- 3:05I need to get a box to put Jamie Dimon in.
- 3:08Let me ask you. Let's ask Janet Yellen if that's
- 3:10a good idea. No, let's ask Jerome Powell.
- 3:13Jerome, is it a good idea we get a Jamie Dimon box?
- 3:16Absolutely. All right, Jerome, time to cut
- 3:19rates. Now back to ANZ Bank and what
- 3:22they said about silver. Because there's a lot we can
- 3:25read into this. There's a lot, there's a lot of
- 3:28commentary we can have surrounding these comments.
- 3:31They said an acceleration in the transition to renewable energy
- 3:36is supporting metals not usually associated with renewables such
- 3:41as silver. This isn't even the good part
- 3:43guys. And silver and the silver market
- 3:46may struggle to adjust. And when they say struggle to
- 3:50adjust, that means price to the upside okay.
- 3:54Economist at A and Z Bank report.
- 3:56Let me give you a couple quotes from A and Z Bank.
- 3:58Due to its high electrical conductivity and durability,
- 4:02silver has become important in the solar industry with the
- 4:06installation of solar capacity rapidly growing its role as an
- 4:12industrial metal this year. This is key, guys, listen to
- 4:17this, listen to this because we're gonna, we're going to talk
- 4:19about this, this year. China.
- 4:22Is expected to add nearly as much as the total installed
- 4:26capacity in the US Let me back up and explain that.
- 4:31That means that this year alone in China, they will be
- 4:34installing more solar panels in just one year than exist in the
- 4:40entire United States right now. And we give China a hard time
- 4:45about their environmental stuff. It seems like maybe they're a
- 4:49little more green, right? OK.
- 4:51By 2025 we expect industrial demand for silver from solar to
- 4:57make up 53%. Wait a minute, By 2025, fifty,
- 5:033% of total demand. This will place increasing
- 5:08pressure on supplies. Before I forget, you know who
- 5:10sent me this article? You know where this idea came
- 5:13from, this great information. You know where it came from.
- 5:16It came from you. It came from a guy named Keaton
- 5:19who emailed me. 5:00 o'clock This morning I'm laying in bed
- 5:22working and I get this e-mail from Keaton with this article.
- 5:26Thank you Keaton. Thank you to all of you that
- 5:29send me great information. My e-mail address is always in
- 5:32the description of every video. Guys, China is installing more
- 5:37solar panels this year. Then the United States has in
- 5:40total existence in one year. Guys, think about this.
- 5:44It's been reported that the next generation, the new generations
- 5:48of solar panels are again now using more silver.
- 5:51So think about this, we have more solar panels being
- 5:55produced. They have silver in them.
- 5:58So there's more silver because there's more solar panels, but
- 6:00not only are there more solar panels, a double bonuses,
- 6:04there's more silver in those more solar panels.
- 6:07They're saying by 2025. I missed that the first time I
- 6:12read it. There's a double, double, double
- 6:15bonus for us. By 2025, industrial demand for
- 6:19silver will make up 53% of the total demand.
- 6:24That's huge. We could be in for some great
- 6:27times and silver. But wait, our friends at the
- 6:31Australia, New Zealand Bank now, when you're at the Country Club
- 6:34tonight having dinner. You can start talking about a NZ
- 6:38bank if you're in America and you're going to look like you're
- 6:40smart and sophisticated, right? Or if you're at 711 getting a
- 6:44Slurpee, like I'll probably be doing, you can talk to the guy
- 6:47at the counter and say, you know, a NZ bank says that by
- 6:502025, silver demand will be going through the roof. 53% of
- 6:57the silver produced every year will be going to solar.
- 7:00Now let's get to the next point. I do like Slurpees.
- 7:04Do you like Slurpees? My kids love Slurpees.
- 7:06Slurpees are expensive growth and mine production.
- 7:12This is what they say about the supply of silver.
- 7:15Again, this is A and Z Bank, the most prestigious bank in
- 7:19Australia and New Zealand. Growth in mine production is
- 7:23largely beholden. I love that word, beholden to
- 7:26other metal metals projects for which silver is a byproduct.
- 7:32So what that means is most that's produced every year is a
- 7:35byproduct. It doesn't come from mines.
- 7:38It doesn't come from Hekla, doesn't come from Fortuna.
- 7:40It doesn't really even come from from.
- 7:42First Majestic, although First Majestic is an awesome silver
- 7:46company nonetheless most of the silver, I think it's like 75 or
- 7:5180% is a byproduct mostly of zinc mining and mostly mostly
- 7:56from copper mining. And our friend Ross Beatty, the
- 7:59godfather of precious metals, the Chairman of the Board of
- 8:02Equinox Gold, another company that I happen to be very fond
- 8:05of. And I have an interview on my
- 8:07channel with Greg Smith, the CEO.
- 8:09You might want to check that out nonetheless.
- 8:11Ross Beatty. Who started like 8 super
- 8:13successful mining companies over the years?
- 8:17I've heard him say that now the new copper mines.
- 8:20Remember, most silver comes from copper mining.
- 8:22It's a byproduct, it's an afterthought.
- 8:24But the new copper deposits are different.
- 8:26A lot of them are much deeper. And guess what?
- 8:29There's not as much silver with them.
- 8:31And guess what? Mexico basically just outlawed
- 8:35open pit mining. Mexico's making it extremely
- 8:38difficult for silver miners to operate the.
- 8:41The table is being set for a grand feast for silver old
- 8:47Smitty the silver bear named by our friend Pat Holland.
- 8:50Remember Pat Holland? I'm trying to get him back on
- 8:52the show. He's a busy guy.
- 8:54We love him $85 silver coin shop.
- 8:57Chris, who's here working right now to make this all possible,
- 9:02says take the blindfold off Smitty.
- 9:05When we hit $85 silver, does it feel like we might be heading
- 9:08that way? I mean.
- 9:11This is unbelievable. OK.
- 9:16It also it also says that above ground inventories of silver
- 9:22remain plentiful. OK, we got to accept that that's
- 9:25not good news, but have dropped sharply over the past couple of
- 9:30years because we know from the Silver Institute that over the
- 9:34last two years there's been a big deficit in silver.
- 9:37There's been much more silver demanded.
- 9:40Then has been supplied. Guys, I think this is great news
- 9:44from A and Z. We got still got a lot more to
- 9:46talk about it. What would happen if your silver
- 9:49and gold got stolen? We're going to talk about that.
- 9:51Do you keep silver and gold at your house?
- 9:53What if somebody stole it? You know what if you had a party
- 9:57at your house and there were thousands of people?
- 9:59I know you're a big social and what if your silver or gold
- 10:02disappeared? We're going to talk about that.
- 10:04OK and. We're going to talk about the
- 10:06difference between the spot price and the futures price.
- 10:09We got a lot more to talk about. But before we do that, thank you
- 10:12for being here. Please give this video a thumbs
- 10:16up. Press that thumbs up when we get
- 10:18to 100. I ring that bell 10 times.
- 10:20I know it's a big special treat and please subscribe.
- 10:23I'll put out a new piece of content every day for the rest
- 10:27of my life. And you know.
- 10:30Whoever lives longer, you could be friends with me forever, so
- 10:33please subscribe to the channel. I also want to mention to you
- 10:36there's a lot of scams out there that go on in the comments
- 10:40section of YouTube videos, and I've been fortunate.
- 10:42The channel has grown. I get a lot of views.
- 10:44The scammers are all over our comments section.
- 10:47They're very tricky. I will never, ever ever.
- 10:51Ask you any way, shape or form to give me your credit card
- 10:55number. There's a new scam they're
- 10:56doing. They're new and creative.
- 10:58They come up with new ways to scam people.
- 11:00Never will I ask you for your credit card information.
- 11:03Never will I ask you to contact me on WhatsApp.
- 11:06Never will I ask you to click on some link that asks you.
- 11:09You can click on my links, but the ones, if anything, ever ask
- 11:12you for any personal information.
- 11:13Avoid it. Really.
- 11:15If you want to get in touch with me, my e-mail address is in the
- 11:18description of every video. OK.
- 11:21Thank you Coin Shop, Chris and thank you guys in the past for
- 11:24all of your super chats. It goes a long way to help
- 11:28support this channel. Susie and I are doing this as
- 11:30our primary income source raising 2011 year old girls
- 11:33which would become very expensive.
- 11:35So thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 11:36Never expected, always appreciated.
- 11:39Let's head to the comments real quick and we got more to talk
- 11:42about Zimbabwe news. Yeah.
- 11:44Marshmas. The the if you're talking about
- 11:47the Russian embassy, I believe in Zimbabwe came out with a
- 11:52report that this new reserve currency will indeed be backed
- 11:58by gold. OK, there's no, you know, Jim
- 12:01Rickard said it the new reserve currency from the BRICS nations
- 12:04backed by gold. We're getting reports that the
- 12:08Russians are officially saying it will be backed by gold.
- 12:11Thank you for bringing that up, Ron.
- 12:13Forgot about the Alabama beaches.
- 12:15Come to Corpus Christi best beaches.
- 12:17OK, you know what? Maybe I'll look into that this
- 12:20year. I go to Alabama most years,
- 12:23somewhere in October, November. So Corpus Christi, low blood
- 12:27pressure. Remind me of that again.
- 12:29Snake bite. Hey buddy, good to see you.
- 12:32Snake bite. August 22nd, 2023.
- 12:36Bricks Announcer Gold Back Curtsy Marsh.
- 12:39Man, you have girls too. Yes, I have twin girls.
- 12:44I'm a Nigerian Prince giving away free silver.
- 12:47Thomas Drellick. Yes, that's a very common
- 12:50Nigerian Prince. Name.
- 12:52Thomas. Send me an e-mail and I will
- 12:53send you all of my banking account information so I can get
- 12:57my share of that free silver. No, guys.
- 12:59Never send your banking information.
- 13:01Never send your credit card unless you absolutely are
- 13:04comfortable. I will never ask you for either.
- 13:06OK? If you want to help the channel,
- 13:08super chats are great. And then I have a PayPal link, I
- 13:11think in the description of all my videos.
- 13:14But you know this is free, right?
- 13:16I've been sponsored in the past. I have a sponsorship upcoming,
- 13:22you know, anyway, but I'm never going to ask for that
- 13:24information. Good morning, Matt.
- 13:25Tindo. What's the girls?
- 13:27The gold ratio. Oh, boy, that's a good one.
- 13:31I don't know how to answer that. All right, guys, what would
- 13:37happen if your silver and gold were stolen?
- 13:41Maybe you stack silver. Maybe you stack gold.
- 13:43What would happen if you went to look at your stack and poof, it
- 13:47was gone? All your silver's gone.
- 13:50Right. Right here. 10 ounce bar.
- 13:54All right, let's say you got some of those.
- 13:56I just have one, of course, but nonetheless, let's say you got a
- 13:59big pile of them and they're gone.
- 14:02Are you covered? What's your situation?
- 14:04We've got a great subscriber from New York.
- 14:07He's been in the insurance business for 50 years.
- 14:09His name's Mike. He sent me a great e-mail last
- 14:13night. I'm not going to read it line by
- 14:15line because he's doing a little more research, but there's a
- 14:18couple key things we can talk about in in terms of if your
- 14:22silver and gold were to be able to disappear, be stolen.
- 14:26Number one, you might have a little bit of coverage under a
- 14:29homeowners or renters policy if you have that, but it's not
- 14:34going to be significant, right? It could be $500, it could be
- 14:371000, it could be 2000, but likely it's not going to be very
- 14:41much. You might be able to add like a
- 14:43rider on to your homeowners policy.
- 14:46And again, guys, I'm not giving financial advice, just what I'm
- 14:49learning, just what I'm passing along.
- 14:51You can do some research on your own as well, but you may.
- 14:54Be able to put some type of rider on your homeowners policy
- 14:57to increase the amount. But then it gets tricky because
- 15:02there's different insurance policies available based upon
- 15:07whether you have a coin collection, like a numismatic
- 15:10type collection right? Coins that are valued for their
- 15:13silver and gold content, but on top of that because they're
- 15:16considered rare and people will pay a big premium, right?
- 15:20Like an ultra rare. American Silver Eagle or an
- 15:23ultra rare gold whatever. Buffalo from you know whatever
- 15:28you know are no ultra rare Morgan that's worth more than
- 15:31just the silver content. There's different.
- 15:33Hey, thank you Neil for the Super chat I'm Lucky Neil and
- 15:38thank you for your help on the channel Neil.
- 15:40I appreciate that. That is awesome.
- 15:43So when you're looking at insurance, there's difference
- 15:46between ensuring bullion and ensuring.
- 15:49Numismatic A collection. OK, there are, and again I'm not
- 15:53an expert. I'm trying to relay what what
- 15:55this great gentleman Mike said to me and if I screw anything
- 15:59up, I apologize. But it's a little seems to be a
- 16:02little easier to get insurance on a coin collection.
- 16:05A numismatic collection, OK. But then there's a bunch of
- 16:08hoops you got to jump through to insure it like you know, have it
- 16:12appraised and and do that type of thing all right.
- 16:15If you just want to insure a bunch of these bullion.
- 16:19Let's say you got a bunch of these sitting around your house.
- 16:22It becomes even more difficult. There's appears to not be as
- 16:26many options available and there's limits.
- 16:30And I think he mentioned like $100,000 you probably you
- 16:34probably have a couple 100,000 or 500,000 of silver at your
- 16:38house. But nonetheless it becomes a
- 16:41little trickier and it appears from what I read and what I
- 16:45learned from Mike and what I looked up online that there's.
- 16:48Even fewer options available in that regard.
- 16:50He did mention a company called Shore.
- 16:53SURE, he wasn't sure, pardon the pun, and didn't want to give,
- 17:00like a lot of details, but that's one you can possibly
- 17:02check out that might offer insurance policies on physical
- 17:06metal. Because think about silver and
- 17:08gold, right? And then they could become much
- 17:10more valuable, right? Aren't we kind of hoping for
- 17:13that guys? And and.
- 17:18You know, if it were to disappear on you, that would be
- 17:21devastating. You know, silver and gold have
- 17:25all these wonderful qualities. There's no counterparty risk.
- 17:28And one of the articles I read brought up a great point, Like
- 17:30the only real risk associated with silver and gold is it being
- 17:35confiscated or stolen. And we know, right?
- 17:39I mean, because you own it, you hold it when you when you hold a
- 17:4210 ounce silver bar in your dirty little paws.
- 17:47You got it. It's yours.
- 17:48You're not relying on a bank. You're not relying on anybody
- 17:52else to provide you with that value.
- 17:55You hold it. And man, it feels good, right?
- 17:58I mean, we love our silver and our gold for that matter.
- 18:02But the risk is the one risk is that it disappears.
- 18:06And think about what happens when there's big wars.
- 18:09I don't say war. Susie gets.
- 18:11And also I got to talk to you about the red shirt.
- 18:13Don't remind me at the end. I got a big controversy here in
- 18:16the house about the red shirt. But nonetheless, when there's
- 18:19wars because Susie says I can't say Hey, thank you, Coin shop,
- 18:23Chris. You guys, man, so nice when
- 18:27there's war. Not war, war.
- 18:29What's the first thing they do? They take the gold, right, The
- 18:32conquering country. I wonder why that is.
- 18:35I wonder why. And that goes on even to today.
- 18:39I mean, why are central banks buying all this gold?
- 18:42Why do conquering countries come in and take the gold?
- 18:47Hmm. Interesting.
- 18:49Oh, it's just a barbaric relic, of course, right?
- 18:52Gold and silver. I mean, come on.
- 18:55Oh yeah, silver's only been the most common form of money for
- 18:58like 5000 years, but nonetheless, we digress.
- 19:02So, guys. I hope you never faced that
- 19:06situation. I hope I never faced that
- 19:08situation where thank you for the Super chat, Super Chat Coin
- 19:13Shop Chris absolutely not expected from you of all people.
- 19:18Guys please tell Coin shop Chris thank you for his help on the
- 19:21channel. This really wouldn't be possible
- 19:24without his help. Neil as well helping out, you
- 19:29know it's awesome and good people, man.
- 19:31You guys are good people. That's what energizes me to come
- 19:35down here and do this right to get together with you.
- 19:38There's 250 of us on an early Saturday morning.
- 19:42How cool is that? And remember.
- 19:44We are just a sliver of a sliver of the population, especially in
- 19:48the United States. We need to stick together.
- 19:51You are part of a group on my channel, on other channels you
- 19:55watch, you are part of. We're a little subgroup of the
- 19:59silver and gold community. Check out the Silver Digin Club
- 20:02sometime on Reddit, guys. I'm telling you, they're doing a
- 20:05great, great job over there as well.
- 20:08Let's move on. I got another e-mail.
- 20:11Hold on here. This one from our friend Scott D
- 20:15I'll never say your full last name online unless you want me
- 20:18to anyway, Scott D said. Dear Ron, I watch it.
- 20:23Enjoy your YouTube channel. It's very informative.
- 20:27I apologize for torturing you sometimes.
- 20:29Scott DI have a question to ask you.
- 20:31I've noticed that the spot price of both silver This is a common
- 20:35question a lot of you have. The spot price of both silver
- 20:39and gold varies on a different. Precious on different precious
- 20:43metals dealers websites at the same time and date every day.
- 20:48For instance, today 2:00 PM the Spot gold and silver on SD
- 20:52bullion site was 1935 and 2331. For silver on monument metals it
- 20:58was different. Instead of 1935 for gold it was
- 21:011927 and instead of 2331 for silver it was 2316.
- 21:08At Max was even more 1939 for gold and 2340 for silver.
- 21:13What gives? I've noticed that this since I
- 21:16started purchasing these metals from different online dealers.
- 21:19I would appreciate knowing why the difference, and if you could
- 21:22enlighten me, well, you're in the right place for
- 21:25enlightenment. I can't tell you how many people
- 21:28have contacted me saying that I've enlightened them A little
- 21:31bit of light, maybe it's all these light bulbs, but we'll do
- 21:34our best. I want to explain this to you.
- 21:38What's why you see different prices for silver and gold?
- 21:42There's two things, Two things, #1 The easiest answer to that
- 21:46question is some sites use the Spot gold, silver price, OK,
- 21:52that's the immediate price for silver and gold.
- 21:55If you want to buy it right now, it's the spot price.
- 21:58Correct me if I'm wrong on this, guys.
- 22:00I'm not. You know, we're all, all of us
- 22:03learning together, but that's the spot I go to kitco.com.
- 22:07That's where I get the spot price of silver and gold.
- 22:11A lot of sites, for instance, Yahoo Finance, if you go there
- 22:15and on the top bar, they always still have silver and gold up
- 22:18there, which I find very interesting right along with the
- 22:21S&P 500 and everything else. But remember, it's just those
- 22:24silver and gold are just barbarous relics, right?
- 22:27But for some reason Yahoo Finance has them up there.
- 22:30Yahoo Finance. The price is always different
- 22:34from Kitco and I'm like, huh, interesting.
- 22:36And there's an easy answer as to why that's the case.
- 22:40Kitco uses the spot price. Yahoo Finance and another number
- 22:44of other sites they use the futures price they use.
- 22:48I think it's what's called the current month.
- 22:50The most current futures contract price and futures are
- 22:54contracts to buy silver at a set price on a set day.
- 22:59I don't know all the details right now, but what are we,
- 23:01June, July 8th? So maybe there's a futures
- 23:04contract that expires later in July.
- 23:07I don't know the specific dates. Maybe it's not until the early
- 23:10August. It's likely going to be
- 23:12somewhere within 30 days and that price is always going to be
- 23:17higher, okay. If it's not, if it's lower
- 23:21technically you want to use a big technical term.
- 23:23I believe that's called backwardation and that does
- 23:26happen from time to times where the.
- 23:28For the spot price is actually higher than the futures price.
- 23:31But usually you're going to see a difference between the spot
- 23:35price, like on Kitco the immediate price and the futures
- 23:38price. With gold, it usually seems to
- 23:41be somewhere between $5 and $10.00 an ounce.
- 23:45With silver it can be like $0.10 to $0.20.
- 23:48So that's why that's the case number two when you go to
- 23:52different I'm not accusing anybody of anything.
- 23:56But I think a lot of the online bullion retailers, they want to
- 23:59use the highest spot price within reason without, without
- 24:05drawing your attention as they can, because the higher the spot
- 24:09prices, the higher they can or the higher, I'm sorry, the price
- 24:13of gold and silver, that's not the spot price usually that's
- 24:15the futures price, some sort or something.
- 24:18But the higher that prices that they can say gold is, let's say
- 24:22the spot price is. 1900 even, but the futures price is 1915.
- 24:29Well, they can base their pricing on their website off.
- 24:32They'd rather base it off the 1915 than the 1900.
- 24:37Does that make sense? I'm not accusing anybody of
- 24:39anything. What I'm saying is if you're
- 24:42buying gold and silver, right, let's say you're buying this
- 24:45bar. It's a CMCMT metals bar.
- 24:49If I was going to and it's .99999999999999999% pure.
- 24:58If I was going to buy another one of those, I would do a
- 25:01Google search. I would search on eBay.
- 25:03I would look everywhere to find the best reputable seller.
- 25:09That has that exact bar and I the best price amongst all
- 25:13those, because you are never going to find one website that
- 25:16always has the best prices, right?
- 25:18But you want to be careful as well, right?
- 25:21There's there's a caveat to that because you want to make sure
- 25:24that whether you're buying American Silver Eagle or
- 25:27Australian Kangaroos are cuckoo burros like our friend coin shop
- 25:31Chris likes. I think if I remember correctly,
- 25:34he likes the Kookaburro. Kookaburro.
- 25:37Yeah. Anyway.
- 25:38Compare because one site might be better on 10 ounce bars,
- 25:42another one might be better on Kangaroos or kookaburros or
- 25:45whatever, right? You know what I'm saying?
- 25:47Get my drift? So that's why we have different
- 25:50spot prices. Hey Thomas, wow, what a cool
- 25:55gift. Super chat from Thomas Drelek.
- 25:57Ron, thank you for all the videos and live streams you and
- 26:00informative information you provide the community Silver
- 26:03under 30 is a number brainer for silver purchases.
- 26:06By gold, precious metals and direct from the Majestic.
- 26:10From First Majestic. Yeah, you know you can buy
- 26:14silver from First Majestic. Keith Newmeyer, right?
- 26:17He's the CEO, right. The Crown Prince of silver.
- 26:22You know Russ Beatty's the Grand poo BA, but, but, but Keith
- 26:28Newmeyer. Keith Newmeyer's The Grand
- 26:31Prince, First Majestic. They have their own store.
- 26:34You can buy silver directly. And Keith, let me talk about
- 26:37Keith Newmeyer for a second because I got a ton of respect
- 26:40for the guy. I know this company's been
- 26:42struggling. Thank you, Thomas.
- 26:45Thank you. But I will tell you Keith
- 26:48Newmeyer, he is on our side. He is totally a silver and gold
- 26:54guy. He's also the chairman of first
- 26:56mining gold, which is another reason why I love first mining
- 26:59gold and Dan Wilton, what he's doing over there, but.
- 27:03But Keith Newmeyer is on our side, guys.
- 27:05He's made public statements, correct me if I'm wrong, Keith
- 27:09and I've talked with Keith one time and I'm going to talk with
- 27:11Keith again because he's cool and he's smart and he's driven
- 27:15and he believes in silver. He's even said like we need to
- 27:18like get some type of organization of silver miners,
- 27:23excuse me, to help to help control the price.
- 27:27I mean, even the Chinese are saying that there was a couple
- 27:30Chinese state. News reports where these silver
- 27:33guys are saying we need like an OPEC for silver.
- 27:37So I mean look at what I just read you from ANZ Bank.
- 27:40Those of you who just joined me, go back and watch the replay of
- 27:43this because ANZ Bank, Australia, New Zealand Bank,
- 27:46they pointed out unbelievable information about silver demand
- 27:50coming down the road. You know, I mean, so yeah, keep
- 27:56new Meyer triple digit silver one.
- 27:58Hey, we got 100 thumbs up. I'm gonna ring the bell 10
- 28:01times. That's one time for each thumb
- 28:03up. That's called ringflation
- 28:05123456789. This last one's for you, 10.
- 28:15All right, guys. What about the red shirt?
- 28:19Let me ask you real quick, does this red shirt bug you?
- 28:23I wear it every video. It's like who I am.
- 28:25It's part of me. There's someone who's very
- 28:27significant in my life, who I love dearly, who likes is
- 28:32involved with the channel. And oftentimes she says, will
- 28:35you stop wearing that red shirt? Will you shake it up a little
- 28:38bit? I tell you what, let's do a
- 28:39quick poll, if you don't mind, Would really help.
- 28:42If you think I should keep the red shirt, type one.
- 28:45If you think I should dump it, take two.
- 28:48Two type 2. Dump.
- 28:50Two keep the red shirt. One, I get A1.
- 28:54James is jealous of my red shirt 11 Red.
- 28:57No. Why do I know?
- 28:58Come on dude. One.
- 29:00I like the color 11. James Smith 10.
- 29:03Boy, now I appreciate. Susie's just trying to be
- 29:05helpful. I'm not mad at her.
- 29:07I'm saying I can be short tempered sometimes. 11111.
- 29:12How about a blue shirt? Yeah, every once in a while I'll
- 29:15wear a different shirt. Rick Rule says triple digit
- 29:17silver. Hey, Marsh Mans, we love Rick
- 29:21Rule. He's another guru, Rick Rule.
- 29:24And we got to remember. Thank you guys for voting.
- 29:26We got to remember here. Not wrong book.
- 29:30Darn it. Well, anyway, this is a good
- 29:32book to 925 silver if you guys are ever interested.
- 29:37But anyway, Stuart Englert wrote a book about the manipulation of
- 29:41the silver price. This guy's smart and he's going
- 29:44to be back on my show. We love you, Stuart Englert.
- 29:47OK. He talking about the
- 29:49manipulation of silver. Excuse me?
- 29:51I'm sorry. When.
- 29:52I'm sorry about that. When is the silver market gonna
- 29:55break? And he laughed and he said, he
- 29:58said it's gonna break. He said.
- 30:00But we've been waiting for it for 15 years.
- 30:04Rick Rule has a great saying, right?
- 30:08Like I made-up Unicorn fart dust.
- 30:10I think. I'm pretty sure I made-up
- 30:12Unicorn fart dust. I may have heard it somewhere
- 30:14else. If you think you made it up, let
- 30:15me know nonetheless. Rick Rule has a great saying
- 30:19about what's going on in the in the silver market, the gold
- 30:22market, precious metals in general, he says.
- 30:26Don't confuse that which is oh shoot, I'm forgetting what he
- 30:31says. Don't forget that which is
- 30:35imminent with where that which is.
- 30:38But basically what he says. Man, my my brain's not working.
- 30:41Don't confuse something. That is bound to happen with the
- 30:46fact that it's going to happen right away right like you know
- 30:49it's going to happen the conditions are in place.
- 30:52But don't think that just because that's the case that
- 30:55it's got to happen next week or it's got to happen next month.
- 30:57I know we've had to be patient guys those of us somebody if
- 31:01somebody has that saying please put it in the I feel like a big
- 31:04dum dum I need to write those things down before I get on
- 31:07here. But don't confuse that which is
- 31:09imminent with that which is something Rick rule with all his
- 31:13wealth. Yes, that's true, Frank.
- 31:16That's true. Blue is the new red.
- 31:18Hey, Neil. Oh, come on.
- 31:22Somebody come up with that. Rick.
- 31:23Rick rules. Oh, I didn't know that, Neil.
- 31:27That's interesting. Rick Rule is ignorant.
- 31:30I've been getting a lot of questions about Platinum.
- 31:32A lot of interest in Platinum. Guys, let me ask you, let's do
- 31:36this. Let's do this.
- 31:39Do you own Platinum? If you do, yes.
- 31:44Type one if you don't know type 2.
- 31:48Do you own Platinum Coin Shop? Chris, am I forgetting anything?
- 31:52We talked about the scams, right?
- 31:55Coin shop. Chris and I are going to be
- 31:56making a video later today. So no.
- 32:00Is 2. Right?
- 32:01No, no, no. Philip Martinez?
- 32:03No. No.
- 32:04Joe Fulland? No, no, no.
- 32:05Doug Flinch. So a lot of news about seems
- 32:08like maybe 40%. Ebert Beeman says, Ron, you're
- 32:15not a dumb dumb. Michelle Obama has his moments
- 32:18too. Can somebody please, please tell
- 32:23me what that Rick Roll saying is?
- 32:24Don't confuse that which is inevitable.
- 32:28Oh, that's it. Don't confuse that which is
- 32:32inevitable with that which is eminent.
- 32:35Thank God the old brain still is working.
- 32:38I'm 53 years old, you know. I have a hard enough time
- 32:42putting on lace on shoes, more or less remembering things.
- 32:45Oh yes, oh shoot, what was her name?
- 32:48I had got a great super chat yesterday from and it was in
- 32:52DKK, which I think is Danish kroners.
- 32:55Oh man, I had it written down. Hold on a second.
- 32:57And I forgot to say thank you. Here it is.
- 33:01And I put a community post. Kirsten Iverson, 169 DKK's.
- 33:07Which was very generous. Kirsten, thank you.
- 33:09You're probably sleeping right now.
- 33:11But if you're watching this later, thank you.
- 33:13Thank you. Coin chop, Chris.
- 33:14For reminding that Frank de Silvio, 53 years young Philip
- 33:18Martinez. I'm a young whippersnapper.
- 33:21You got that right. Oh, I got big news, right.
- 33:25Huh. Huh.
- 33:26I'll give you 2 more rings since we're at 1:25.
- 33:30I maybe I'll give you one more when we get to 130, but we got a
- 33:33great guy here in St. Louis.
- 33:36I'm going to call him Cowbell Joe.
- 33:38He's a regular watcher of the channel.
- 33:41He actually works sometime. I have a big water plant by my
- 33:44house. It's fascinating.
- 33:45It was built like in the 20s. It's massive.
- 33:48It's down by the river. I live right by the Missouri
- 33:50River, by the way, where everybody went West on the
- 33:52riverboats. Anyway, there's a big water
- 33:54plant. He works there.
- 33:56He got a cowbell for me. So the new deal is going to be
- 33:59when we get to 200 thumbs up during the live streams.
- 34:02We're done ringing this little bell.
- 34:04That was my fatherinlaw's. God rest his soul he was a
- 34:07wonderful wonderful man and we're going to ring the cowbell
- 34:11that's the that's the big big big big big deal.
- 34:17So this bricks what do you guys think massive massive bricks
- 34:21meeting coming up in August. All we're hearing is gold backed
- 34:27currency. We got reports from Russia the
- 34:30the Russia. Media Russia Times saying that
- 34:34they're announcing basically this new currency will be gold
- 34:38back. Now I read a report I don't want
- 34:41to be We got to look at both sides of the coin.
- 34:43I read a report that said that might not be like immediately
- 34:47good for gold and silver. What do you think?
- 34:50What do you think about this new bricks gold backed currency?
- 34:54I've got something interesting I want to talk about in regards to
- 34:58it. That I don't think anybody talks
- 35:00about. It's it's a it's and it's good
- 35:04for the precious metals, but nobody talks about this.
- 35:07And it's not that complicated. But to me it makes sense.
- 35:14What do you think about bricks? Tired of the bricks.
- 35:16Yeah. Well, it's the big story, right?
- 35:19It's coming up here in six weeks.
- 35:22But yes, I agree it is. The dollar is dead.
- 35:25The dollar is dead. Hello gold, silver, Good to see
- 35:28you. Hello Steven.
- 35:29A lot of crappier currencies getting together.
- 35:31That's a good point Steven. Good point.
- 35:34Jerome Powell says overtime Ron Bricks controls most of the
- 35:39platinum mines. Neil that he got, the platinum
- 35:42guru says and have used platinum as money.
- 35:45Good point. And the platinum eagle is it
- 35:48called. Neil interestingly has a $100
- 35:52face value. Jeff, I'm new to silver
- 35:54stacking. Been at it for three months with
- 35:56my 16 year old son and a local coin shop yesterday and was
- 35:59talked to like an idiot for stacking silver in front of my
- 36:03son. I don't know, I'd go to a
- 36:05different coin shop, Jeff, because most of them are very,
- 36:08very positive on silver. Maybe they didn't have a lot of
- 36:11silver to sell you right, but to think that a local coin shop
- 36:16would talk negatively about silver, How dare they?
- 36:22You know, maybe, like I said, maybe they don't have a lot of,
- 36:25they didn't have a lot of silver.
- 36:27So they were trying to get you to buy platinum or gold or
- 36:29something like that, which is not bad.
- 36:32But I don't know, that's very interesting.
- 36:35They found a way around SWIFT. Yeah, the SWIFT guys.
- 36:38The SWIFT system is the interbank system used by the
- 36:43West, dominated by the United States and now.
- 36:46They're developing their own systems.
- 36:47Iran has a system that they're backing that a lot of the
- 36:50Eastern and the BRICS countries are using.
- 36:53Russia was kicked out of Swift. They're they're surviving
- 36:56without us. Right.
- 36:57With the bricks. The bricks will cut the head off
- 37:00the snake. Yeah.
- 37:02Hey, Andrew just got his first platinum congratulation, never
- 37:06returned to that local coin shop, Lane says.
- 37:08Yeah, I would kind of feel that way as well, Thomas.
- 37:11I believe it when it happens, yeah.
- 37:13There's people that are saying it's not going to be this big
- 37:16immediate windfall for the gold and silver price.
- 37:20I can see that argument, right? I would say at minimum right the
- 37:25worst case scenario, it's going to be very supportive for the
- 37:29gold price and silver price unless unless some powerful
- 37:32countries that don't like silver and gold try even further to
- 37:38manipulate the price down. But here's here's what I want to
- 37:41talk to you about. Here's what I think is super
- 37:44interesting on a big picture. Let's zoom out, let's open our
- 37:48minds and let's think about the gold standard in the silver
- 37:52standard right the world over the over the millennia has been
- 37:56on the gold, silver and silver and gold of gold and silver
- 37:58standard. Easy for me to say it has.
- 38:01We know that it's the base of all real money, gold and silver
- 38:05at the bottom of John Extra's pyramid.
- 38:07John Extra was a United States Federal Reserve governor.
- 38:11He didn't die that long. Go.
- 38:13He wrote extensively about how gold and silver are the base of
- 38:16everything. Zoom out.
- 38:18Make believe you're on a satellite, or you're on that
- 38:21Richard Branson space plane. Whatever.
- 38:23You're orbiting Earth, you can see Earth altogether.
- 38:26Guys, when you look at Earth, all right, are you looking at
- 38:29Earth? Can you visualize?
- 38:32There's only there's a finite there's a limited amount of gold
- 38:35and silver on the planet. We've already covered why silver
- 38:39and gold are the ideal forms of money and currency.
- 38:43There's only so much of that on the planet.
- 38:45There's an unlimited amount of paper and electronic money.
- 38:49You can make more bitcoins, you can do whatever you know.
- 38:52You can grow trees into Infinity.
- 38:54Now they don't even need paper, they just make it
- 38:56electronically. There's a limited amount of gold
- 39:00and silver. Here's where it gets interesting
- 39:02with this bricks development if these bricks countries are
- 39:06successful. In in making gaining traction
- 39:10with this gold backed currency in the world.
- 39:13I mean like we know it's a it's the biggest percentage of the
- 39:17world's economy it's by far population wise and they're
- 39:21growing economies and their middle classes are growing the
- 39:24exact opposite of what's going on in the United States right.
- 39:28It's so if they start to gain traction with this in the world
- 39:32starts to use gold the United States.
- 39:36De facto could be kind of forced into a if we want to trade with
- 39:41them, they're trading in gold back currency, we're going to be
- 39:44kind of forced into a precious metals backed currency
- 39:48environment. Does that make sense?
- 39:50Right. I mean, to me that makes sense.
- 39:52I know it's a little heady, but if everybody else is saying,
- 39:55hey, this is what is value and then, you know, the 40% of the
- 40:00world economy says, Oh no, no, no, no, no paper money and.
- 40:05Built, built on confidence in these fine politicians we have
- 40:10in Washington. That's what's valuable.
- 40:13Paper money. Electronic money.
- 40:16CBDC is valuable. Make believe.
- 40:21What do we like to call it, guys?
- 40:23We like to call it Unicorn fart dust because gold and silver are
- 40:27the only forms of real money. Really, Really think about it.
- 40:30Remember, you're out in outer space looking down at Earth.
- 40:34Right. There's only so much gold and
- 40:35silver. All that other stuff it that you
- 40:38can't even see it. It doesn't really see a bunch of
- 40:40trees. You know, they're everywhere.
- 40:42See a bunch of water, right? You might as well make water
- 40:45money, right? No.
- 40:47There's only so much gold and silver.
- 40:48Everything else, indeed, is just Unicorn fart dust.
- 40:54I won't say it again on this live stream, my friends.
- 40:56I will not say it again. Gold going to $20,000 per oz.
- 41:02Marsh Man's you are on A roll. I appreciate you putting things
- 41:05in all caps That way I know you got something that you want me
- 41:08to talk about. Thompson.
- 41:09Coin and stamp collecting. Hello, Thompson.
- 41:13Nice to meet you, my friend. Welcome to Ron's basement.
- 41:16We are like the summer camp. Your mommy and daddy just sent
- 41:20you off the summer camp, right? Hey, we're all kids at heart.
- 41:23We're like the summer camp for Silver and gold investors.
- 41:26Or the Mr. Rogers neighborhood, whichever you prefer.
- 41:29But it's summer, so we went off to summer camp.
- 41:31We're all sitting around the fire.
- 41:32What do we want to talk about? We want to talk about silver and
- 41:35gold. Coin Shop Chris, you're still
- 41:38here. Good to see you, my friend.
- 41:41As always, Coin shop, Chris. Hello, Neil.
- 41:44In March 2008, Platinum was 2270.
- 41:48Wow, Gold was 1000. Now it's inverse, right?
- 41:53Platinum's what, 9 something? 950 and gold is twice as high.
- 41:58Very interesting. I'd say that I'm going to go buy
- 42:02a platinum coin, but I've said that in the past and you know
- 42:04what? I need to be a man of my word.
- 42:06I'm not going to spray paint my hair red again anytime soon.
- 42:10Kind of like fried my hair. Here I sit and camp in Ron's
- 42:14basement. Original intent.
- 42:15You got that right. Gold back is here as well, but
- 42:18it's a collectible. No one uses it.
- 42:20Interesting. Very interesting.
- 42:24Any thoughts of when premiums go down, I'll, I'll let coin shop,
- 42:30Chris chime in on that. But premiums on silver, I don't
- 42:34see him going down. I don't not back to where they
- 42:37were, not back to you know four years ago, five years ago.
- 42:41I think the big picture for silver and gold, the premiums
- 42:46aren't quite as high on a percentage basis on gold, but
- 42:49the the premiums. To me, aren't going anywhere.
- 42:54You know, they might drop a little bit, but I think we're
- 42:56now in a permanent environment. And what is the real price of
- 42:59silver, right? What is the real price of
- 43:02silver? It's the spot price is $23,
- 43:05right? But what's the real price of
- 43:08silver? What does it really cost you?
- 43:09I think if you're lucky, you might get a 10 ounce bar at 25
- 43:14bucks an ounce right now. Beware breakable silver for
- 43:21barter. Yeah, that's one of the key
- 43:22attributes of silver. You can divide it right?
- 43:25If I needed to, I can cut this in the smaller pieces.
- 43:29I hope I never have to do that, but if I have to, I will, right?
- 43:33You know, here's a beautiful one ounce bar.
- 43:36We can we can chop these things up.
- 43:38I could cut that into four pieces and have quarter ounce of
- 43:41silver, right? Go buy a go buy a couple days
- 43:44worth of food if I had to, right.
- 43:47I mean, if we had to, I'm not saying I think we're going to
- 43:49get to that point and and and I don't think we have to get to
- 43:52that point, guys, for us to realize the true value that we
- 43:57have in silver and gold and platinum for our friend Neil.
- 44:02We can't forget about platinum. Melt it, don't cut it.
- 44:05Yeah, you know what? That'll be one of my goals
- 44:09before the end of the year. I'm going to do that for you
- 44:12guys. I'm going to learn how to melt
- 44:13silver. There I go, opening my big mouth
- 44:16like when I said I'd paint my head red if Golden gets 2200.
- 44:19But I'm going to learn how to melt silver down.
- 44:21What the heck, I'll bring you on that little journey with me if
- 44:24you're interested. It should be interesting.
- 44:28No, James, I've never played a game of ping pong for an ounce
- 44:31of silver. No, When I was younger and I
- 44:35drank a lot, I had this neighbor named Butch, and Butch was good
- 44:39at everything. Horseshoes.
- 44:41Ping pong. He was just one of those guys.
- 44:44He was good at everything. He worked at a Cadillac
- 44:46dealership. He was cool and I used I
- 44:48honestly, I used to really party a lot anyway.
- 44:50I played Butch one night when I had drank a little too much.
- 44:54I was probably in my mid 20s and I owned my house and I bet him
- 44:57my house and he won and he's and it was just a joke.
- 45:03Better be careful what I'm saying here.
- 45:04I'm going to get a letter from a lawyer.
- 45:05It was just a joke. But he always joked around with
- 45:08me afterwards saying you still owe me that house, you know.
- 45:13Daniel's going to get his own furnace and mount.
- 45:15Has anyone here ever melted, melted down silver?
- 45:19If you have, say yes. I'd be curious if you ever in
- 45:23what temperature? I've looked it up before.
- 45:26I think it's 1700 degrees. Yeah, Blaine, I know I learned
- 45:31my lesson. I never bet against Butch again.
- 45:34Blow dog. Yes, Ron's Bay.
- 45:40Man, you guys, never. You never seemed to cease to
- 45:43amaze me. I must have never seemed to
- 45:45amaze me. You usually never seem to amaze
- 45:47me, but never cease to amaze me. Joe Fowler.
- 45:50This is funny, guys. He said if I meltdown silver,
- 45:53then I could be Ron's base meant MINT.
- 45:58Ron's base meant man, That's my new business.
- 46:00Ron's base meant probably blow myself up.
- 46:05Hello, Daniel. Yes, Thomas Toobs has.
- 46:09All right. Yes, I'll pay.
- 46:10I'll pay you for an ounce of silver.
- 46:12I don't think there's a lot of profit in it selling silver, but
- 46:16y'all keep that in mind. Dean Brown Dog.
- 46:20Mark Carroll. Haha.
- 46:21Party in 2023 because silver's going to $999 per oz.
- 46:28Do you think that's possible? You know, I get a lot of heat.
- 46:31Oh, I got to talk about this too.
- 46:33I got two and this is this is this is great.
- 46:35I get a lot of heat. Right.
- 46:37If I if I make a thumbnail for a video, that's that little thing
- 46:40you see before you click on it and I say $60.00 an ounce,
- 46:43$70.00 an ounce. Sometimes I'll say $50.00 an
- 46:47ounce, sometimes I'll say $14.00 an ounce.
- 46:49Look guys, anything's possible, right?
- 46:52We could get $16.00 over. Yes, we know it could happen
- 46:56$160 over in the next 12 months. I think both of those are.
- 47:01I'm not predicting either will happen, but definitely within
- 47:05the realm of possibilities. I mean really at some point
- 47:11silver, when the dollar with all the screwed up, you know how
- 47:15screwed up America's finances are, right?
- 47:18And if history's any indicator. Right.
- 47:21All Fiat currencies fail. Well, what happens when the US
- 47:24dollar fails? What happened in Venezuela when
- 47:27their currency failed? What happened on the Wein Mar
- 47:29Republic? What happened in a host of
- 47:31African countries when their currency failed?
- 47:34I'll tell you what happens, right?
- 47:36Gold and silver. Ask people in Turkey right now,
- 47:40right, Right, they're having hyperinflation or they had some
- 47:43periods ask people in Nigeria, Zimbabwe, go and the currency
- 47:48gold goes. I mean, sure, you know what?
- 47:51I could make a thumbnail that says $60 million silver, because
- 47:56at some point, look, I'm an American.
- 48:00I'm full blooded. I don't love what's going on in
- 48:03our country. I don't agree with 100%, but I I
- 48:05still love my country, right? Or like it a lot.
- 48:09Anyway, there's parts I don't like, but at some point, right?
- 48:12And I. So I it wouldn't be good news
- 48:14for me. The dollar will become.
- 48:18Either worthless or worth less. And we could see these
- 48:21astronomically high silver prices, platinum prices, gold
- 48:25prices right through the roof. Numbers that we can't even
- 48:28imagine. That would be when we might be
- 48:31cutting this up. Okay this cool little silver
- 48:36bar. Look at the back of it.
- 48:38I think it says the coin shop corner.
- 48:40My friend in California sent me that.
- 48:43Into 10 pieces so I can go buy some food or some fuel to run
- 48:47my, you know, whatever, right? Final thing we got to talk
- 48:51about. I had some really, really nasty
- 48:54comments. Okay.
- 48:56Look, you guys are always awesome, but there's always a
- 49:00couple people. And I had one guy, maybe it was
- 49:02even an e-mail from Cleveland. And he said, you got to stop
- 49:08promising people. They're going to get rich on
- 49:11silver. You're you're misleading people.
- 49:13You're leading them down the primrose path, telling them
- 49:15they're going to get rich. Look, I don't have a crystal
- 49:18ball. I'm not giving financial advice.
- 49:21What I'm sharing with you is what I believe.
- 49:24Right? And I've never said, hey, buy
- 49:26silver, you're going to get rich.
- 49:28No. Or have I?
- 49:31Right. I will argue that silver's
- 49:33undervalued right now. I will argue that because I
- 49:36believe it and I put my money where my mouth is.
- 49:39I think gold's undervalued, right?
- 49:41I eat my own cooking. OK, But I'm not promising you
- 49:45that you're going to get magnificently wealthy.
- 49:48Is there a chance that could happen depending on how much
- 49:51silver you have? Absolutely.
- 49:52There's a chance, right? I'm not saying it's going to
- 49:55happen, but there's certainly a chance.
- 49:57I think at minimum. Whoa.
- 49:58No, I kicked you. Sorry.
- 50:02Oh, sorry. Hopefully you don't get motion
- 50:05sickness from that. I, I, I, you know, at minimum
- 50:09silver and gold are going to maintain their value.
- 50:12They're going to help you maintain your wealth.
- 50:14I think on the upside, yes, we could see a situation where the
- 50:19relative value of silver and gold become to a point where
- 50:24you're like, wow, I can buy a house, a nice house for. 1000
- 50:30ounces of silver. I got to talk about houses as
- 50:33well. I think there's a real estate
- 50:35bubble. Okay.
- 50:36I live in Saint Louis. I live in a middle, upper middle
- 50:38class neighborhood. I'm not rich, right?
- 50:42This is my basement. Okay.
- 50:44There's two stories above it. I'm not in a mansion, but I'm
- 50:46very grateful for what I have. There's a house in my
- 50:49neighborhood that was really run down, a twostory house like
- 50:53mine. Okay, a flipper bought it to
- 50:57flip it, fix it up, whatever. And it looks like they did a
- 51:03real good job while I was at the neighborhood swimming pool
- 51:05talking to one of my friends that I like last night.
- 51:08And he said, Oh my God, there's a realtor in our neighborhood
- 51:11that all of us know. He's a nice guy.
- 51:13He'd put a post on Facebook that the house sold for an amount
- 51:19that blows my mind. OK, $670,000.
- 51:23Now those of you that live on the East Coast or the West Coast
- 51:26or parts of wherever, Florida. But guys, that's like several.
- 51:32That's a lot more. I can't believe somebody's
- 51:34paying that for that house. I'm sorry.
- 51:36It it's great if it goes through.
- 51:39I feel sorry for them, especially if they're taking out
- 51:42a loan because woof, that might have just rung the bell for the
- 51:48top of the real estate market. I was just absolutely shocked.
- 51:52What do you see where you live? Do you see skyrocketing real
- 51:56estate prices still? Does that make sense?
- 51:59We've got mortgage rates twice as high, right?
- 52:03None of it makes sense. I know nobody's moving now
- 52:06because most people are trapped, right?
- 52:08They, they, they're If you have a mortgage and you got into it
- 52:12over the last 10 years, you probably have a 3% interest
- 52:15rate. So you're trapped because if you
- 52:16go to move, your new mortgage will have a 7% interest rate,
- 52:21which means for the same amount of money that you're going to
- 52:24borrow, you're going to pay twice as much.
- 52:27Same thing with car loans. But what is going on in the real
- 52:30estate market? The only thing I can think of is
- 52:33so few people are moving. There's still such small supply.
- 52:37I really feel sorry for the people that are buying right
- 52:41now. I could be wrong.
- 52:43Look, I'll give you a great example.
- 52:44When I was wrong, when the pandemic hit, I had a young man
- 52:47come to me and said. I was thinking about buying a
- 52:49house, blah, blah, blah, and he wasn't really ready anyway.
- 52:51And I said, look, man, I would wait and see what happens with
- 52:55what's going on right now. And we all know what happened.
- 52:58So maybe this real estate, maybe it just keeps going to the moon.
- 53:01What do you see? North Shore Boston House is
- 53:03selling for way more than they're worth, but sales are
- 53:06down. Yeah, Frank, that's what it
- 53:08seems like around here. No mortgage, no debt.
- 53:11Yeah, I have no mortgage, no debt.
- 53:15Right. And I can take risk, right?
- 53:17That's just me. No debt.
- 53:19Debt is bad guys, debt is bad. If you got a 3% mortgage on a
- 53:23house, I would never think I'd be saying this, but that might
- 53:27be okay. That's pretty good rate in in
- 53:31this environment. They have borrowed money.
- 53:36I'll move to Texas in 10 years, sold modest Utah home last year
- 53:40for 400. In 35,000 bought a newer and
- 53:44otherwise comparable home in Jefferson City which is the
- 53:47capital of Missouri for the low two hundreds.
- 53:51Yeah, you know that's the way to do it.
- 53:53If you're living in an area where you have sky high real
- 53:57estate prices and you want to move, I'd do it right now.
- 54:01That's just the don't. I'm not giving advice.
- 54:03I'm just telling you what I would do if I lived in an area
- 54:06Boston. San Francisco or wherever where
- 54:10there's sky high real estate prices right now and you want to
- 54:14move somewhere and it's a it's a place that is come like you can
- 54:17get the same size house for half the price.
- 54:19Cash it out baby. I mean imagine if you had some
- 54:22little shack in San Francisco that was worth $900,000
- 54:28supposedly, right. You could come to St.
- 54:30Louis. Let's say you're from St.
- 54:32Louis you know and I apologize if you have to come to St.
- 54:35Louis. Although it's not so bad here,
- 54:38it's a nice place. But you had to come to St.
- 54:39Louis. You could take that 900,000 and
- 54:42buy a better house. I guarantee you a way.
- 54:46Better house for four or 500,000 and you'd have 400 grand that
- 54:51you could buy silver and gold with.
- 54:52Wouldn't that be nice? But as we talked about earlier,
- 54:55you'd have a hard time getting an insurance policy if you're
- 54:59going to keep it all at your house.
- 55:04What about cars? You know, I'm hearing from my
- 55:07contacts in the car business, the auto market boop dropping,
- 55:12right? Same thing.
- 55:14Yeah, I'm getting calls. We were looking for a minivan a
- 55:16while back and I'm getting calls from these dealerships that were
- 55:20like, sorry, we don't have anything, It's going to be a six
- 55:22month waiting list, blah, blah, blah.
- 55:24Like, oh, we had somebody cancel.
- 55:26Are you still interested in the Kia Carnival minivan?
- 55:29I'm like, no. Not yet.
- 55:31I'm waiting. I'll wait.
- 55:33Thank you very much. I'd rather have silver.
- 55:37How about you? Would you rather have silver or
- 55:39would you rather have a new minivan?
- 55:42Let me know. Jonathan Kirchner bought 50K of
- 55:48gold and silver with part of the sale of his home.
- 55:51Very cool Silver Chair stacker. I think any house over 250K is
- 55:56stupid to buy. It's a box made of wooden stone.
- 56:00Yeah. And for those of us in the
- 56:01United States, generally, our construction here is like
- 56:04crappy, considered can compared to like Europe and other places
- 56:09in the world. Probably better than a lot of
- 56:11places. But compared to Europe, from
- 56:12what I understand, in particular, our houses are kind
- 56:14of built not to last, not as long.
- 56:17Lemonade is expensive in St. Louis.
- 56:20Yes, we own a house and land in Texas, and it's tripled in
- 56:23value. Congratulations.
- 56:26Wow. That is awesome.
- 56:29That's Shannon Boyd, our friend Shannon Boyd.
- 56:31Dan, Dan, BA, BA, BA. Remote control and surveillance
- 56:35devices. Ignition kill switches.
- 56:37That's interesting. Marsh, Mass Dean are Neil's
- 56:42living in a van down by the river.
- 56:44No, he's not. I've joined.
- 56:45I've joined Neil on live streams.
- 56:49He's got a nice place and Neil's a nice guy.
- 56:51So it's coin shop. Chris, Man, 350 people.
- 56:54I just looked. Can we get the 200?
- 56:57This will be a warm up. Remember, I'm getting a new
- 56:59cowbell from our good friend Joe.
- 57:01Right? Can we get the 200 thumbs up?
- 57:04It would be great if we could, guys.
- 57:06It would be great. Oh, Dean.
- 57:09Dad. Dean.
- 57:10We knew you were just joking. Jay Powell, Fart dust, 15 more
- 57:13silver. New minivans depreciate.
- 57:15Yeah, no joke. They cars depreciate.
- 57:19We only need eight more thumbs up.
- 57:21Come on, you can do it. You can find that little thumb
- 57:23and click on it, my friends. All right.
- 57:26Hollow point. Yeah.
- 57:29Oh, brother. The hits keep coming, you know,
- 57:37let me, let me, let me talk about this.
- 57:39Right. We got 200-1234, 567-8910,
- 57:43eleven 12/19/20. Thank you, guys.
- 57:48Let's talk about this. About silver that I hadn't
- 57:51thought about came from the book.
- 57:54I'm reading. I've showed you guys a couple
- 57:55times the great Silver Bowl. Silver is durable.
- 58:00There's like things about. There's two things I've I hadn't
- 58:03thought of in the last month or so.
- 58:05Maybe you already knew these, but maybe not.
- 58:07And if you didn't, maybe it'll add a little more to your silver
- 58:11and gold arsenal. OK, #1 silver is durable.
- 58:15It doesn't go bad. Right.
- 58:17And we kind of know that, but we don't really appreciate that
- 58:20Like as they were talking about, oh, the new bricks currency
- 58:22could be back by wheat, barley and soybeans and oil and blah,
- 58:27blah, blah. Well, you know, I mean, I guess
- 58:30oil can be stored, but but eventually, especially like
- 58:33wheat and stuff like that, it's consumed, it goes bad, Our
- 58:37silver, our gold, it lasts, it's durable.
- 58:41Totally durable. Again, we're on that satellite
- 58:44looking down at earth. There's only so much silver and
- 58:47gold. Hey, thank you for joining me
- 58:49guys. You are the best.
- 58:50I appreciate the Super chats. I appreciate you.
- 58:54OK. Have a good weekend and I'll see
- 58:56you soon.
