  Today, I want to take you on a quiet walk through the ordinary.

  You know, those small moments that seem routine, the ones we almost overlook,

  like getting the kids ready for school, driving the same route to work,

  folding laundry late at night.

  I do that a lot. It's those very moments that God often whispers the loudest.

  In Psalms 37, verse 23, it says, the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.

  That means every step, not just the big leaps of faith, not just the mountaintop
• 1:23
  moments, but the small ordinary daily steps.

  We sometimes think that God only shows up in miracles, in answered prayers,
• 1:34
  or in those wow moments of life.

  But God is every bit as present and ordinary.

  He's there in the silence of you your commute in
• 1:47
  your morning coffee even in that brief smile exchanged with a stranger i'll
• 1:52
  never forget one morning when i was running late everything that i could go
• 1:57
  wrong did spilled my coffee couldn't find my keys even hit traffic you know

  of those mornings, all right.

  But at one red light, I just sighed. And I said, Lord, help me calm down.

  And right there in that stillness, I looked up and I saw the most beautiful sunrise.

  It was like God saying, angel, breathe. I'm still here.

  In that tiny, inconvenient, nothing special moment,
• 2:31
  God reminded me, I don't need a miracle to feel his presence.

  Sometimes I just need to slow down and slow down enough to notice it.

  So maybe today you feel like your life is too small.

  Maybe too small for God to notice. You're juggling work, bills,
• 2:51
  maybe parenting, maybe caregiving.

  You love God, but you wonder, am I even doing anything that matters? Let me tell you, you are.

  You see, every act of kindness, every word of encouragement,

  every time you choose patience instead of frustration, that's God's working.

  That's God working through you. Think about that.

  He's shaping your faith, not just in the spotlight moments, but in the quiet

  ones, because our faith isn't built in the storms alone.

  It's built in the dailiness of life.

  Zechariah 4.10, it says, Do not despise these small beginnings,

  for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.

  Maybe today, that small beginning is you praying again. Maybe it's forgiving someone quietly.

  Maybe it's just getting up and saying, Lord, I'm still trusting you.

  Don't miss God in that small stuff because he never misses you.

  So today, as you go about your day, don't rush the past.

  Don't rush the past, the quiet. Look for God in the small, simple,

  ordinary moments, because that's where his love often hides his plain sight.

  And as always, remember the fact that when we're here, when we're in God's presence,

  he shows us nothing but hope, but love and compassion.

  I want you to think about that today, even if you're at the red light right

  now, thinking that he forgot about me because he never did.

  Think about that connection we have with each other. And remember,

  you matter. And never forget.
