Coeur Mining (NYSE: CDE) President & CEO Mitch Krebs says the company’s acquisition of New Gold marks a transformational step, accelerating Coeur into a larger, more resilient North American silver, gold, and copper producer. Speaking with Kitco Mining at the 35th BMO Global Metals, Mining & Critical Minerals Conference, Krebs said the deal builds on last year’s SilverCrest acquisition and moves Coeur into a new peer group with roughly $25 billion in market capitalization, more than $3 billion in EBITDA, and over $2 billion in projected free cash flow on a pro forma basis.
