- 1:10Speaker 1: that husband of your You know what else, y'all should
- 1:12Speaker 1: also think about this. Well, I'm talking to Joel, but
- 1:15Speaker 1: y'all should know this shit. So I even went to
- 1:18Speaker 1: Target yesterday to buy tampons. They don't even have tampons,
- 1:23Speaker 1: like we have a tampon shortage. There's a tampon shortage. Yea,
- 1:27Speaker 1: they am unable. I cannot as if shit isn't fucked
- 1:31Speaker 1: up enough. I know I heard that it's related daniel
- 1:35Speaker 1: Er Dwelling. We might know this to the mass producing
- 1:38Speaker 1: all the COVID products in a hurried way has has
- 1:42Speaker 1: affected the cotton um sourcing or something, and that's what's
- 1:46Speaker 1: affecting the tampon shortage. Is that. I would believe that.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I'm not if I heard that. I read that on
- 1:52Speaker 1: the interwebs, which means it's probably forty. I think it's
- 1:56Speaker 1: fucked up in the timing is just really not cool.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Ording to Goodhousekeeping dot com as of June twenty third,
- 2:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, so a few days about a week ago,
- 2:04Speaker 1: edge Well, manufacturer of tampon brands Platex and Obie, told
- 2:07Speaker 1: Good Housekeeping that has unfortunately experienced workforce shortages at its
- 2:12Speaker 1: production facilities in relation to COVID searches. The brand comes
- 2:15Speaker 1: that inventory has been negatively impacted as a result. I
- 2:19Speaker 1: literally was on the aisle yesterday and there was a
- 2:22Speaker 1: seventy year old woman looking at you know, pull up diapers.
- 2:27Speaker 1: And I looked at her and I was like, as
- 2:29Speaker 1: if we're not getting screwed enough already. She was like,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I know, honey, I know. Oh man, we can't even
- 2:37Speaker 1: get a tamp on anyway, but at least there's blow jobs.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Blow jobs will always fix that. He doesn't know what
- 2:48Speaker 1: a good wife he has. If only he knew, he doesn't.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I gotta go, sure up, hope, it's a baby, all right,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I know. I love you guys the most non sequar.

- 3:11Speaker 1: like a lot of fun things going on at your house.
- 3:13Speaker 1: We are. Well, I'm gonna say one thing. My wife
- 3:18Speaker 1: works very hard to keep our family going. Yeah, and uh,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and you know it's a job that she's given herself,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and and that it's not fair that that's what she's
- 3:31Speaker 1: you know, then tasked to do or feels like she's
- 3:35Speaker 1: been instant and asking for blowjobs. Has it occurred to
- 3:38Speaker 1: you to maybe, and this might be out of the box,
- 3:41Speaker 1: help her more. I mean how does that help me though?
- 3:50Speaker 1: Like I mean, I'm talking about how much I love
- 3:54Speaker 1: my wife, right, I gotta help more too, Yeah, also
- 4:00Speaker 1: need to maybe help her. By the way, I have
- 4:02Speaker 1: exciting news for everyone. Daniel, You're gonna be thrilled about this.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You're well Donald. I finally finally tasked my assistant with
- 4:11Speaker 1: figuring out how to get the new sound effects into
- 4:15Speaker 1: the sound machine. Za Zach, minds are easy, man, watch this,
- 4:23Speaker 1: gott guy. Yeah, well, mine took someone taking the time
- 4:26Speaker 1: to read the manual. Listen, everybody likes a little ass, don't.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Everybody likes a little ass flay, don't even act like
- 4:32Speaker 1: you don't. They're finally in the machine. Everybody. How exciting?
- 4:39Speaker 1: So wait, you tasked your assistant to do that for you? Yes,
- 4:42Speaker 1: because it involved reading the manual, a very thick manual,
- 4:45Speaker 1: and I was busy. Fuck your sound effects machine, Fuck
- 4:49Speaker 1: your sound got it labeled? I see you got it labeled? Huh.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Well he's so smart and good technically, he knew how
- 4:58Speaker 1: Let me get it. If you got a label, let
- 4:59Speaker 1: me get Okay, dude, shit is going down. I'm so excited.
- 5:09Speaker 1: This is you know. It took some figuring out. I
- 5:11Speaker 1: want to credit my assistant Mark, who's good at all things.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And here we go. Everybody likes a little ass play. Dude,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you got two. Everybody likes a little ass play. I
- 5:23Speaker 1: have three ass plays. That's the first one. Here's the
- 5:25Speaker 1: second one. Whether it be taking a poop, whether it
- 5:28Speaker 1: be a finger, whether it be a tongue, whether you know,
- 5:31Speaker 1: everybody likes a little ass flays. And then the third,
- 5:34Speaker 1: everybody likes little ass flay. Don't even act like you don't.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Perfect job. Thank you, Thank you to Mark for Mark
- 5:46Speaker 1: makes my sound effects machine look like shit. And I
- 5:49Speaker 1: can make my sound effects whenever I want. Yeah, but
- 5:53Speaker 1: yours aren't nearly as good as mine. And uh and
- 5:56Speaker 1: it's just been on my here's a machine guns. You're
- 6:03Speaker 1: an insult to Michael Winslow. Is that his name? Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 1: you're an insult to Mike Winslow. Somewhere Mike Winslow is

- 6:33Speaker 1: throat coat. Wow. I heard Daniel had to read some
- 6:38Speaker 1: some lines that yes, we missed you. How are you feeling?
- 6:40Speaker 1: You had quite a cold, so so much better. I
- 6:44Speaker 1: had COVID. Oh you had the COVID. I just cold
- 6:47Speaker 1: actual COVID because it was very brutal. I was stalking
- 6:51Speaker 1: you on instant and you look like you were hurting.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It was. It was oh man, my sinuses felt like
- 6:56Speaker 1: they want to bust out of my face. I couldn't
- 6:58Speaker 1: like sleep or rest because in so much pain. I
- 7:01Speaker 1: am much much much better now I've tested negative three days.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Do they know? Do they? Well? I mean, thank goodness,
- 7:10Speaker 1: you are negative now, I mean you can get out.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I beg you bad. Stuck to be in the house
- 7:16Speaker 1: for five days straight. So actually I was with my parents.
- 7:20Speaker 1: It was like closer to ten days, um, and it
- 7:22Speaker 1: was great because you know who your parents get to
- 7:25Speaker 1: baby you. So it's just like comm in my head
- 7:28Speaker 1: and you'd be like, I have more tailand all sweetie,
- 7:30Speaker 1: don't even worry, like he's so much. And then my
- 7:32Speaker 1: dad and I just watched movies in his theater all day.
- 7:34Speaker 1: So for being you have to be sick, it was
- 7:37Speaker 1: in the best ways possible. That's great. Well, We're happy
- 7:39Speaker 1: to have you back. The show is not the same
- 7:41Speaker 1: without you. I missed you, guys. We had to play
- 7:44Speaker 1: Throat Goat without you, and I'm really glad. I think
- 7:46Speaker 1: you would have I think you would have loved it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: The audience missed your, your, your, your, your commentary fuckman
- 7:52Speaker 1: was solid. Oh no, okay, I have a real question
- 7:56Speaker 1: to ask. I have a question to ask because that
- 7:59Speaker 1: song is a bop. It's fire. I would love to
- 8:02Speaker 1: play it U all the time, but you got to
- 8:05Speaker 1: really play it and only certain It's not really appropriate, right.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I was about to say, where is it appropriate to
- 8:11Speaker 1: play said song other than Cody's Ride? Yeah, okay, other
- 8:17Speaker 1: than Cody's Ride. You to put that on in the
- 8:20Speaker 1: car while your kids are in the car, don't know that.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I don't think that'll ever make I don't I don't
- 8:24Speaker 1: think that'll ever make the car playlist. Yes, that should
- 8:27Speaker 1: not be on the car playlist. But it is a bop.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It is a bop. So is Liquid Dreams. Not so much.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Not so much that one didn't hold the test of time.
- 8:41Speaker 1: No disrespect, No disrespect, Oh Town, no disrespect, Otown. You're
- 8:46Speaker 1: well you missed it. We did a whole We talked
- 8:48Speaker 1: about explicit songs and very talk about my neck, my back,
- 8:52Speaker 1: that one that the test of time, that is, oh
- 8:58Speaker 1: my gosh, I mean any song. Well they didn't get
- 9:01Speaker 1: away with it, but I think Window to the Wall
- 9:03Speaker 1: is probably the ultimate one, like out of all of
- 9:07Speaker 1: them because junior height dance. I'm saying so much, man,
- 9:13Speaker 1: so much. That was on the radio. Skeet skeet, skeet
- 9:18Speaker 1: was on the radio. Yeah from the window, Yeah yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 1: window to the drifts off my ball was on the radio.
- 9:28Speaker 1: What do you think it means? But what do you
- 9:30Speaker 1: think it means? What do you think it? Sound effects machine?
- 9:34Speaker 1: Does it mean ejaculation? What do you think it means that?
- 9:38Speaker 1: That's the way you're saying it makes me think it
- 9:40Speaker 1: has to do with ejaculation. Still all skeet skeet, skeet skeet.
- 9:46Speaker 1: How would I know that without looking at Is that
- 9:48Speaker 1: an urban dictionary? I look from the wind, I don't
- 9:52Speaker 1: know if I think skeet ski I think can you
- 9:55Speaker 1: look up? Sorry, Joel, you're back, Jael, Can you look up?
- 9:58Speaker 1: The urban dictionary definition should have skeet and skeet skeet.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Please know? I think we I think we I think
- 10:04Speaker 1: we established what it is. I just wanted to hear it.
- 10:07Speaker 1: They'll they'll phrase it in a dictionary like way, like verb.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Would you like to hear how ya? Now? Yes? The
- 10:14Speaker 1: phrase commonly used when a person is about to unload
- 10:17Speaker 1: jism onto their partner. Oh soism and that and that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That makes me think that there are people out there that,
- 10:31Speaker 1: when they are going to unload jism say skeet as
- 10:35Speaker 1: it's happening. Oh, that'd be great, that'd be great if
- 10:38Speaker 1: that's when you bust life. If your battle cries sk
- 10:43Speaker 1: sk sk skate very alarming, or you try to whisp Britain,
- 10:51Speaker 1: be sexy with it, you try to say it romantically.
- 11:05Speaker 1: All right, all right, enough for that, please, I'm not
- 11:09Speaker 1: ready to give it up yet. I know it's nice
- 11:11Speaker 1: to see you. Are we doing anything for this weekend?
- 11:13Speaker 1: I have Do we have any plans to see each other?
- 11:17Speaker 1: I mean, I thought we were getting together. Man, I
- 11:19Speaker 1: want to make some ribs. I want to I don't
- 11:21Speaker 1: eat ribs, but you can make them. You don't eat
- 11:24Speaker 1: meat at all. I don't eat any meat. Now. See,
- 11:28Speaker 1: you're lucky that that plant based diet worked for you.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It didn't necessarily work that great for me. I'm not
- 11:33Speaker 1: I'm not a soul. I'm not entirely off fish. I
- 11:36Speaker 1: had eat fish. Um, I don't eat any animals that
- 11:39Speaker 1: aren't living in the sea. I'm sorry to my c
- 11:43Speaker 1: spiracy folks I have I have. I couldn't live without
- 11:48Speaker 1: just a little bit of fish. Well, you could have lived.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I could have lived. I could have lived. Yes, you're right,
- 11:54Speaker 1: there's plenty of people on a vegan diet who are
- 11:56Speaker 1: who are healthy. And I tried it, and I try
- 12:00Speaker 1: the I tried the full based diet you and I
- 12:04Speaker 1: wound up getting an ultrasound because it was giving me,
- 12:08Speaker 1: uh gut pains so well. I don't know if that's
- 12:11Speaker 1: related to your vegan diet. No, it was because once
- 12:13Speaker 1: I switched off of just eating all plants. Also eggs.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I love eggs. I could never be a full vegan. Eggs.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Eggs are good, divine eggs are important. Heart boiled egg
- 12:24Speaker 1: make your day. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Do you see
- 12:31Speaker 1: that picture Beyonce just posted exactly I'm on the tax
- 12:38Speaker 1: emails alerts for her Instagram wherever we are she has
- 12:48Speaker 1: she is looking at it right now. I mean I
- 12:50Speaker 1: know I'm going to say she has blossomed from Destiny's
- 12:54Speaker 1: child to now. Yes, it was, Joel, the Good Lord.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Of course, everybody, everybody zoomed. I had to make sure.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I was like, is that is that? Oh? Oh amazing, amazing,
- 13:13Speaker 1: so sexy and beautiful, but just strong and fierce. Man.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It's a holographic holographical Is that what you say? Holographic horse? Yeah,
- 13:22Speaker 1: it looks holographic plastic ea. I was trying to figure out,
- 13:26Speaker 1: like what we actually happening. It looks like a hologram
- 13:30Speaker 1: of a horse, right, Daniel, you're a hologram expert. Well,
- 13:33Speaker 1: a hologram technically would be like non physical, so she
- 13:36Speaker 1: couldn't sit on it. Well, she's beyond She can sit
- 13:38Speaker 1: on anything, you know. In that case, Ye, unicorn and
- 13:45Speaker 1: out of nowhere comes through a pocket. Okay, it's like
- 13:51Speaker 1: a thunder horse. Are you watching Atlanta Season three? Joel?
- 13:55Speaker 1: I'm not currently. I wanted to bend it and then
- 13:59Speaker 1: I haven't gotten it. Yeah, I'm too. I'm so frustrated
- 14:03Speaker 1: that nobody I know is watching this show. I'm sure
- 14:06Speaker 1: some listeners are, but it is so good. Donald Glover
- 14:10Speaker 1: is so talented and call him by his real name,
- 14:13Speaker 1: Lando Calrisin. I love that show. I just if you,
- 14:16Speaker 1: if you're if you're opening my suggestions, audience, you should
- 14:20Speaker 1: watch Atlanta and Seasons for you. It's been really really good,
- 14:23Speaker 1: can't Joel? You love TV? Joe, Well, we never we
- 14:28Speaker 1: never speaking of Star Wars, we've never caught up on Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 1: a five second take because I don't want to boy
- 14:34Speaker 1: zach Um, holy crap, ye little Leah shit, that child
- 14:39Speaker 1: can act like, well, whoa, she's doing really good. Um.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And then no spoilers, but the surprise at the very
- 14:48Speaker 1: very end of the show amazing. I really like what
- 14:52Speaker 1: Moses did with her character too. Um. I know people
- 14:54Speaker 1: will show with it at first for different reasons. I
- 14:57Speaker 1: think the end result of that character thank everybody. Yeah,
- 15:01Speaker 1: if you're not satisfied with the way that ended, then
- 15:04Speaker 1: you got problems because that kind of look, I'm gonna
- 15:07Speaker 1: be honest, that kind of you cry. But hold on
- 15:10Speaker 1: a little bit a little bit. The ending kind of
- 15:14Speaker 1: leaked and you know, everybody was in uproar when they
- 15:17Speaker 1: heard what the ending was gonna be. But the way
- 15:20Speaker 1: it was executed, I think everybody it's kind of hard
- 15:24Speaker 1: not to be satisfied with the way that ended. You
- 15:27Speaker 1: know what I mean, another season, don't you guys? It
- 15:31Speaker 1: does seem like they because they I think they were
- 15:33Speaker 1: calling it like a short at first and then an experience.
- 15:36Speaker 1: This was supposed to be movie one, and I read
- 15:39Speaker 1: on the interwebs. I read on the interwebs, which is
- 15:42Speaker 1: always true, that um that this was going to be
- 15:46Speaker 1: a movie, and then when Han Solo tanked, they shied
- 15:49Speaker 1: away from it and um and made it a TV series.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I want everybody out there, listen, even though Han Solo tanked,
- 15:57Speaker 1: it's still a good Star Wars movie, man, And like,
- 16:01Speaker 1: for real, you need to call your friend Kathleen Kennedy
- 16:04Speaker 1: and tell her. I think I think she knows it too.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think she's well aware of it. Well, she had.
- 16:09Speaker 1: She had a very tough time with that film. As
- 16:11Speaker 1: you recall, Donald, she fired our friends the directors. Yes,
- 16:15Speaker 1: no doubt, But I think we should stick to I
- 16:17Speaker 1: should I think we should stick to this format that
- 16:21Speaker 1: we got going right now, y'all, Like, let's stick to that.
- 16:24Speaker 1: The TV thing is working. Don't get crazy and put
- 16:27Speaker 1: out some bullshit because the fans are screaming for movies.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Movies movies. Keep the shows going. The weight is worth it,
- 16:35Speaker 1: don't straight away. Also, last thing, and this is the
- 16:38Speaker 1: last thing. Eat these balls, Zach. Well, No, I'm gonna
- 16:43Speaker 1: say one thing, and you guys could say I'm bugging
- 16:47Speaker 1: or whatever. Black Stormtrooper is very familiar in the Star
- 16:51Speaker 1: Wars universe. We saw it, and we saw that. We
- 16:55Speaker 1: saw that scenario. There's another thing that I'm a part
- 16:57Speaker 1: of that's very familiar in the Star Wars universe. Stupid buddy,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna get everybody in trouble. We created uh
- 17:08Speaker 1: debt Bring your Daughter to Work Day, where Gary the Stormtrooper,
- 17:13Speaker 1: a Stormtrooper I play, brings his daughter to work on
- 17:17Speaker 1: two occasions. One when the blockade runners stopped by the
- 17:20Speaker 1: Death Star I mean by the Star Destroyer. Two when
- 17:27Speaker 1: the speeder containing our two three po Luke, Skywalker and
- 17:32Speaker 1: Obi Wan gets to the checkpoint and these aren't the
- 17:35Speaker 1: droids you're looking for. There's another part also with anyway,
- 17:38Speaker 1: this was years ago, right years ago, before any of
- 17:41Speaker 1: these shows came out. Bring your Daughter to Work Day
- 17:45Speaker 1: all of these shows motion sketch very popular, all of
- 17:50Speaker 1: these Star Wars shows. Obi Wan Bring your Daughter to
- 17:53Speaker 1: Work The Mandalorian, bring your daughter to work. All of
- 17:56Speaker 1: these stories are the exact same thing I'm just putting
- 17:59Speaker 1: out there. I'm just putting it out there. Damn me, wait,
- 18:04Speaker 1: hold on, let me throw then elbow on it too,
- 18:06Speaker 1: But just putting it out there. The format worked. You
- 18:10Speaker 1: know where it came from. Um. I think one thing
- 18:14Speaker 1: that's true is that they saw that. It's true they
- 18:17Speaker 1: saw the successive get your fucking sound effects machine going,
- 18:21Speaker 1: now eat these balls zactly, there we go. I think
- 18:26Speaker 1: it's definitely true that they saw the world go crazy
- 18:30Speaker 1: over baby Yoda, and now they were like baby Leah,
- 18:33Speaker 1: baby everything, Baby everything Baby, Yeah, baby baby baby Jabba,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I have a success watched they did that. They did
- 18:43Speaker 1: that already, they had Yeah and Clone Wars the original
- 18:48Speaker 1: original movie. That's not true. I'm saying, I knowing huge
- 18:52Speaker 1: all of these stories that you're watching right now are
- 18:54Speaker 1: coming from the Clone saying mainstream all of these stories.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I'm just saying, if you're like Obi Wan Kenobi, all
- 19:01Speaker 1: of this that you saw in that show came from
- 19:04Speaker 1: the Clone Wars, the cartoon I'm talking about. I know.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm just telling you that, unless you're a mega Star
- 19:09Speaker 1: Wars fan, no you don't have to be. You don't
- 19:12Speaker 1: have to be. All you have to do is all
- 19:14Speaker 1: you have to do is be raised when well the
- 19:17Speaker 1: Phantom Menace came out. That's it, all right, let's should
- 19:21Speaker 1: we talk about this TV show we made a long
- 19:23Speaker 1: time ago. I mean, we can't six seven eight stories
- 19:28Speaker 1: about show we made about a bunch of doctor nurses, said,
- 19:35Speaker 1: he's the stories. So yeada around you here, YadA around
- 19:44Speaker 1: you here. I don't remember this episode at all, um all.
- 19:54Speaker 1: It's called My Turf four. I remember because Carrie was
- 19:57Speaker 1: on it. Of course I remember Carrie Russell, the beautiful, full, hilarious,
- 20:01Speaker 1: very talented Kerry Russell um coming. And I remember Bill
- 20:06Speaker 1: directed this episode. I didn't remember that. That's why it's
- 20:11Speaker 1: so good, and I the best part of it. Should
- 20:15Speaker 1: we just dive into the best part? Is that the
- 20:18Speaker 1: whole sports thing? Is that an espn um fantasy? Yes,
- 20:24Speaker 1: Stuart scott Man, you know rest in peace man, that
- 20:27Speaker 1: was you know, that was a testament to how great
- 20:30Speaker 1: he was because he changed how we listen to sports.
- 20:34Speaker 1: What is that? Explain to those of us who don't
- 20:36Speaker 1: follow sports or watch sports, is always an exciting you
- 20:39Speaker 1: know when when you watch playback, there's always somebody doing
- 20:42Speaker 1: commentary that's got to be very exciting and make what
- 20:45Speaker 1: you're watching seem like it's, you know, amazing, because not
- 20:51Speaker 1: everybody likes baseball, not everybody likes football, not everybody likes basketball.
- 20:54Speaker 1: So you have somebody who you know, describes what's going on, right,
- 20:59Speaker 1: So this just remind people, Just remind me. In the Fantasy,
- 21:02Speaker 1: JD asked Turk about, Hey, tell me about Elliott's friends
- 21:06Speaker 1: played by Carry Russell, and he goes into this whole
- 21:09Speaker 1: ESPN sort of graphic thing. Kerry's body is spinning and
- 21:14Speaker 1: it's the ESPN music is playing. It's like he's giving
- 21:17Speaker 1: and Turk is giving the stats for what's going on,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and and I imagine they're you just copying the exact
- 21:23Speaker 1: graphics they would use on ESPN. Yeah, somewhat, it's somewhat
- 21:27Speaker 1: like that. But Stewart was the one that changed the
- 21:30Speaker 1: way it sounded. He was the one that was doing
- 21:32Speaker 1: stuff like boo yeah, or you know, that's cooler than
- 21:35Speaker 1: the other side of the pillow, Like he would say
- 21:37Speaker 1: some of the dopest euphemisms for sport, right anyway, So
- 21:42Speaker 1: that was a that was it was called Turk's booty breakdown, right,
- 21:45Speaker 1: and and I would like to I like to think
- 21:48Speaker 1: that that was our version of, you know, giving him
- 21:51Speaker 1: a shout out. That was really funny and clever. And
- 21:55Speaker 1: you know Bill watches ESPN UM every night, I think,
- 22:00Speaker 1: or all the time. He loves it. Um. Wimbledon's happening
- 22:05Speaker 1: right now, by the way, but it's happened so early.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'm not getting up to watch Wimbledon. I guess we'll
- 22:10Speaker 1: wait till the finals or something, and maybe I'll get up.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You can watch all of this sopay, But is that
- 22:16Speaker 1: what you do? See? Bear? You know that's the easiest
- 22:19Speaker 1: way to watch it. I know, but I don't. I'm
- 22:21Speaker 1: not much of a sports watcher. Is it okay to
- 22:23Speaker 1: watch replays? Yeah? Of course? Why not? You know what
- 22:27Speaker 1: the story? Are you playing any sport right now? Um? No,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I would love to play tennis. I just don't know
- 22:32Speaker 1: when the gym. I'm just at the gym. I'm trying
- 22:35Speaker 1: to get skinny because I think I got a movie
- 22:37Speaker 1: coming up. If the stars align and I need to
- 22:40Speaker 1: be I want to be in good shape for it.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Are you gonna Is it an action movie? It's not
- 22:44Speaker 1: an action movie. I don't want to talk about it
- 22:46Speaker 1: yet because it's like ninety five percent happening, and I
- 22:49Speaker 1: will tell you about it when it's a hundy percent
- 22:53Speaker 1: and still be one two. I play young Jabba. Can
- 23:01Speaker 1: you imagine I'm getting ripped so I can be in
- 23:03Speaker 1: another suit, another puppet. No, I missed tennis, though, I'd
- 23:07Speaker 1: love to play with you. Let's go, But I meanway,
- 23:09Speaker 1: I'd really like to watch limb Wimbledon. I just see
- 23:12Speaker 1: the headlines. I saw that uh Serena that's out already. Yes,
- 23:17Speaker 1: it was shocking, Yeah, to like one hundred and ten
- 23:20Speaker 1: seated players. She's a grown up man. Y'all got to
- 23:22Speaker 1: remember she's a grown up and she's been through injuries,
- 23:25Speaker 1: and she's had babies all of that stuff. Man, she's
- 23:30Speaker 1: older than everybody she's playing against right now. But I
- 23:33Speaker 1: think they were shocked because she lost to like a
- 23:36Speaker 1: what was the seed? Like nothing? Man, She's you know,
- 23:40Speaker 1: you can't stop time. Time waits for no one. She's
- 23:43Speaker 1: like you on the on the basketball court, you've given up.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I don't think she gave up. She showed up to play. No,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you say you've you've given up. Because
- 23:52Speaker 1: of your age, you can't play anymore. She's back in
- 23:55Speaker 1: the gym, man, she's keeping her one hundred. I'm back
- 23:57Speaker 1: in the gym. I don't know where they sent me,
- 23:59Speaker 1: shake me. I sent you mine, but that I didn't
- 24:01Speaker 1: even know. I love you. I don't know if me
- 24:04Speaker 1: and you can work out in the same gym. I
- 24:06Speaker 1: think that's weird working at the same time. I think
- 24:09Speaker 1: it's weird. Still comes in eight, Zach comes at seven.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Why does that weird? Who cares? Because I found another spot.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm going to it all right, Well, why don't you
- 24:17Speaker 1: say that instead of you don't want to work out
- 24:18Speaker 1: at the same gym as me. That's stupid. Me and
- 24:21Speaker 1: Carmelo Anthony will be friends alone. I love Carmelo Anthony too.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I didn't even know who it was, but he was
- 24:29Speaker 1: working out in my gym. You just knew it was
- 24:31Speaker 1: a tall guy. Huh um. I knew it was a
- 24:34Speaker 1: tall athlete. And then on my trainer's Instagram he posted
- 24:39Speaker 1: that it was Carmelo Anthony and I was like, oh,
- 24:40Speaker 1: that's who that was, That's what's up. And then I
- 24:43Speaker 1: tried to send it to Donald to be like, why
- 24:44Speaker 1: don't you come to my gym, look at cool people
- 24:46Speaker 1: like this guy and he didn't reply Anyway, I'm back
- 24:49Speaker 1: in the gym, man, I'm gonna try and get these
- 24:51Speaker 1: shots up to try and get back in shape. I'm trying. Look,
- 24:55Speaker 1: that's what's up. Listen. I feel like if I go
- 24:58Speaker 1: at it right now and I go hard, I feel
- 25:01Speaker 1: like if the NBA will have me at the All
- 25:06Speaker 1: Star Game, Oh yeah, I feel like I could. I
- 25:08Speaker 1: feel like I could make ye Why didn't you do that?
- 25:12Speaker 1: Why did you stop doing that? You were like one
- 25:13Speaker 1: of their favorites. Well, because then all of these other
- 25:17Speaker 1: famous people started coming out, like Chris Brown, Bieber, Kevin Hart,
- 25:22Speaker 1: and then so when that happens, you know, oh they
- 25:25Speaker 1: they if you're Donald Phazon and Kevin Hart wants to
- 25:27Speaker 1: play to get bench right things, Well, no, I don't
- 25:29Speaker 1: get benched. I get pushed out of the game. That's
- 25:31Speaker 1: just how it goes as celebrities come into play. Well,
- 25:35Speaker 1: it's hard to compete with Justin Bieber wanting to play.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I'm still playing. I'm sure I don't know if he
- 25:41Speaker 1: plays in those games. But freaking Kevin Hart, they were
- 25:44Speaker 1: tired his number from the from the thing I didn't remember.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Do you remember what, dude? He used to win MVP.
- 25:52Speaker 1: He wouldn't even have the best games, but he was
- 25:53Speaker 1: still win MVP just from being funny. Man, Like, I'm
- 25:57Speaker 1: not gonna he was petitive, very competitive. Dannel says, no,
- 26:02Speaker 1: he was fine, but he was Could you beat him
- 26:05Speaker 1: one on one? That's irrelevant whether I donald. Have you
- 26:11Speaker 1: ever played basketball with Rick Glassman the comedian, No, but
- 26:14Speaker 1: I hate's nice. He played with Lebron against Lebron in
- 26:17Speaker 1: high school. He says, I'm sure he got dunked on.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I'm sure he. I'm sure Lebron James came up down
- 26:22Speaker 1: the court and was like, I heard he's really good.
- 26:25Speaker 1: And um, I did his podcast and he told me
- 26:28Speaker 1: that he got kicked out of Bill's game for what
- 26:31Speaker 1: just smack talking. I guess, I don't know. I love
- 26:36Speaker 1: me some Rick Glass He's funny. He's very funny, very
- 26:39Speaker 1: funny guy. Um I did his podcast, and see and
- 26:41Speaker 1: see him on around if you see him, if he's
- 26:44Speaker 1: coming to your town doing stand up, he's got some
- 26:47Speaker 1: very very funny stand up. We should talk about this show. Yeah, man,
- 26:51Speaker 1: come on, you keep fucking getting off topic. Okay. The
- 26:53Speaker 1: only thing we've talked about me. Okay, go ahead, explain this,
- 26:58Speaker 1: explain it. Everybody likes a little ass play. Don't even
- 27:02Speaker 1: act like you know all right listening? So Elliott, speaking
- 27:05Speaker 1: of ass play, Keith wants to take Elliot's bum with
- 27:09Speaker 1: him on vacation. Yeah, that's cute, and Jad reveals that
- 27:13Speaker 1: Elliott a naked picture of Elliot's bum is still his
- 27:16Speaker 1: screen saver. Yes, Sarah and Elliott do have a nice
- 27:22Speaker 1: little bum so I can understand JD's rationale. Both bums
- 27:29Speaker 1: are spectacle. Yes, let's not lie. Both bumbs are nice.
- 27:32Speaker 1: We've seen them bopping down recently. We saw them grinding
- 27:39Speaker 1: on a flagpole in the show. Yes, very turfing for
- 27:43Speaker 1: those you don't know. I don't know if it's still
- 27:45Speaker 1: medical slang back and when we were doing the show,
- 27:48Speaker 1: it was still medical slang for when you're trying to
- 27:52Speaker 1: find any excuse to refer a patient to a different department.
- 27:56Speaker 1: So Donald, excuse me. Turk and Cox are in a
- 27:59Speaker 1: turf war or if you will, that's the name of
- 28:02Speaker 1: the show, Mike tur four, where they're fighting over Lloyd
- 28:05Speaker 1: because nobody wants Lloyd. Played by the hilarious Mike Schwartz
- 28:09Speaker 1: everything like Schwartz in this episode where he was like,
- 28:12Speaker 1: you're forty and you're a delivery man. You got a
- 28:16Speaker 1: case of where did I go wrong? Zes? Yeah? What
- 28:19Speaker 1: about it was fucked up? But what about when Mike
- 28:23Speaker 1: Schwartz is pointing to his form, he goes, it's it
- 28:25Speaker 1: hurts here, and then he goes to his elbow. It
- 28:27Speaker 1: skips here, and then he goes to his bicep and
- 28:30Speaker 1: then it continues here. He's like, are you serious, Lloyd?
- 28:34Speaker 1: He goes, but what about the tingles? Yeah, he says,
- 28:38Speaker 1: he's got the chest the chess tingles. He was very
- 28:43Speaker 1: funny in this episode. It made me think we should
- 28:44Speaker 1: have given Mike more to do because he should have
- 28:47Speaker 1: been more recurring. I mean he was, he had part
- 28:49Speaker 1: and everything. But this is the first time Lloyd ever
- 28:52Speaker 1: gets to be the main guest star of the episode.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Well not Kerry Russell's the main guest star, but ye know, second,
- 28:57Speaker 1: let's say guest star. He's very funny, for sure, He's hilarious.
- 29:01Speaker 1: The b story was actually really funny too. I I
- 29:04Speaker 1: was I got psyched out and I was on the
- 29:07Speaker 1: show and you don't remember it at all, not even
- 29:10Speaker 1: a little bit. I didn't see it coming. I don't
- 29:12Speaker 1: remember you know some episodes, Donald and I've told you
- 29:14Speaker 1: you are our faithful listeners around the globe. This before
- 29:17Speaker 1: some we just don't remember doing. And this falls into
- 29:20Speaker 1: that from me. If you're new to the show, though, welcome.
- 29:23Speaker 1: If you're doing the show, welcome, thank you for joining us.
- 29:25Speaker 1: This is a Daniel DJ Daniel Joelle Monique. Oh there's
- 29:30Speaker 1: a song we have called Joel Monique is down, You
- 29:32Speaker 1: get down. We will now play it, Daniel, hit it.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Get the word out all Joelmonique is down and get down,
- 29:44Speaker 1: no matter what's between your eggs tomorrow bone and you
- 29:47Speaker 1: could be making an eggs Joe down, get down? Oh yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 1: Joelmonie down and get speaking up? Joe? Well yeah, how's
- 29:58Speaker 1: everything going with your Uh? She has not time to
- 30:02Speaker 1: be dating. She's been down for ten days. That was
- 30:04Speaker 1: ten days ago. Though, Okay, do you ever chat to
- 30:07Speaker 1: that gal that we introduce you to? Are you friends
- 30:09Speaker 1: at least every now and again? But not not really.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It's kind of far away from are you out there
- 30:16Speaker 1: dating at all? Jowell? Are you are you gonna? Are
- 30:18Speaker 1: you looking for mister or missus Wright? Uh? Not currently currently,
- 30:22Speaker 1: I am just trying to get out of my house.
- 30:26Speaker 1: You mean, do you mean while you're moving again? Not
- 30:29Speaker 1: again a saga which boils down to bad neighbors and
- 30:35Speaker 1: faulty building. Um, yeah, to get out. So we're moving
- 30:40Speaker 1: at the end of next week, which they're too long.
- 30:43Speaker 1: But do you have a new good spot? Oh my god,
- 30:46Speaker 1: it has an entire roof deck off of my room. Absolutely.
- 30:51Speaker 1: And um, we expanded so we have an actual office now,
- 30:55Speaker 1: so I don't have to work in my bedroom anymore.
- 30:57Speaker 1: So I am thrill. I'm very excited to could be
- 31:00Speaker 1: called a blessing in disguise certain to me, absolutely, Maybe
- 31:04Speaker 1: it's not even wearing a disguise. Maybe it's just a blessing,
- 31:07Speaker 1: just a full out blessing. Yeah, it's I'm excited. I
- 31:09Speaker 1: can't wait to decorate and get cozy. And yeah that's good.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You deserve that, Joel, thank you. We're gonna we got
- 31:18Speaker 1: another special episode coming up. Yeah, we do. We have
- 31:22Speaker 1: to figure the logistics out of that. It's hard to
- 31:24Speaker 1: be cryptic, audience. I don't want to ruin any of
- 31:26Speaker 1: the surprise, don't ruin anything. We're almost done with season six,
- 31:30Speaker 1: by the way, we have four more episodes in season six,
- 31:33Speaker 1: and I don't mean to, you know, express concern, but
- 31:38Speaker 1: we're running out of episodes of the show. Donald. We
- 31:40Speaker 1: really have to figure out what we're gonna Dowsta. I
- 31:44Speaker 1: think I don't want the podcast to be over. I
- 31:46Speaker 1: will say that I don't want it to be over
- 31:48Speaker 1: too much checking in talking. I like Daniel and Joel.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I like the community we've built. Why don't we just
- 31:56Speaker 1: start all over? Can't we just start all over? Run it?
- 31:59Speaker 1: Oh my god, re listen of the podcast? Another one
- 32:05Speaker 1: you don't remember? Remember when we used to do that?
- 32:07Speaker 1: Another another one? We should we run it back? We
- 32:11Speaker 1: could get super meta as as as we've said, and
- 32:14Speaker 1: just do a re listen of the podcast of the
- 32:19Speaker 1: I want you Nicsed to be the new Epert and Ruper.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I want you to thumbs up and thumbs down now
- 32:23Speaker 1: because I got to be in the ship, don't We
- 32:26Speaker 1: don't want to be in the place to ever talk
- 32:27Speaker 1: negatively about other artists and other artists. Man, I get it.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I remember, yo. Look, I remember when I used to
- 32:33Speaker 1: be like and I still do it now. I didn't.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I didn't enjoy it and stuff like that. But I
- 32:38Speaker 1: remember what I used to be like, don't see that movie.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Now I'm like, please, you know, yeah, this is my opinion.
- 32:44Speaker 1: This is I don't want to poo poo any artists work.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Although I just did Brett Goldstein's podcast. Here's a podcast
- 32:49Speaker 1: called Films to be Buried with um And you had
- 32:53Speaker 1: to say, what movie do you think is it is horrible?
- 32:56Speaker 1: What was the worst we've ever seen? So I chose
- 32:58Speaker 1: a deep cut meat Balls Too? Do you remember me too?
- 33:04Speaker 1: I like meat Balls Too? With the alien? Yeah, but
- 33:06Speaker 1: do you know what happened is you know I love
- 33:10Speaker 1: you so much? We have the exact same fucking references.
- 33:13Speaker 1: So many people would never have seen Meatballs Too. Meat
- 33:16Speaker 1: Balls one was a very wonderful Bill Murray movie for kids,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and it was incredible. And then and then meat Balls
- 33:22Speaker 1: two came out. It was at the height of the
- 33:23Speaker 1: ET phenomenon, and they obviously didn't have Bill Murray for
- 33:27Speaker 1: the sequel, so they decided that the kids at the
- 33:30Speaker 1: camp stumble across an alien that looked a whole lot
- 33:33Speaker 1: like ET. It was like at but just just a
- 33:36Speaker 1: little bit askew enough to not get sued meat ted.
- 33:39Speaker 1: And his name was Meathead. No, that's that's what they
- 33:42Speaker 1: called him meat Head one day and he was like,
- 33:45Speaker 1: me Ted and they no, he said his name was Ted.
- 33:50Speaker 1: They were like, what's your name? He said me Ted
- 33:53Speaker 1: and they called him meat heead Meadhead. Perfect. So imagine,
- 33:56Speaker 1: imagine you have a hit movie and it's time to
- 33:58Speaker 1: make the sequel and that was great, and you can't
- 34:00Speaker 1: get the star. So you and it's and it's the
- 34:04Speaker 1: and it's the height of ET and you go, wait,
- 34:07Speaker 1: here's the pitch Instead of Bill Murray, we have our
- 34:12Speaker 1: own ET. And we just put that in the movie. Wait,
- 34:14Speaker 1: hold up, do we still go back to the camp?
- 34:16Speaker 1: We're at the camp, but there's no Bill Murray anymore.
- 34:19Speaker 1: The kids stumble across ET, but not ET. Do we
- 34:23Speaker 1: get the theme song? Yes, we still get Are you
- 34:27Speaker 1: ready all right? But I love you? I love that?
- 34:34Speaker 1: You know that reference. Of course, Brett Goldstein had no
- 34:37Speaker 1: idea what I was talking about. No classic Carry Russell
- 34:47Speaker 1: is here. And that was a pretty epic cold open,
- 34:50Speaker 1: by the way, with the wind. Oh yes, we should
- 34:52Speaker 1: give Bill directing props because that whole sequence with the
- 34:56Speaker 1: two women screaming and it's like the movie Tornado. Right,
- 35:00Speaker 1: there's literally a cow flying, a toy cow flying across
- 35:03Speaker 1: the screen. And uh, I'm sure lots of stunt men
- 35:07Speaker 1: making us look good. Um, but that looked really well.
- 35:10Speaker 1: That was really good. That was that was well done. Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 1: it was very Uh, it was very climactic. It was
- 35:16Speaker 1: very climactic at the end two with the you know,
- 35:19Speaker 1: and all we had to do is show them the
- 35:20Speaker 1: picture of the baby and then they are which is
- 35:26Speaker 1: literally me now somehow, somehow when I see a baby, now,
- 35:29Speaker 1: are you like, oh, look at the baby, those cheeks.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I remember those days. Those are good old days. Yeah,
- 35:38Speaker 1: you're like, I don't want to see you on the baby.
- 35:40Speaker 1: I don't mind the baby. It's when they become kids
- 35:42Speaker 1: that it becomes the problem. And well, it seems like
- 35:47Speaker 1: you have two very happy children right now, so you're good.
- 35:49Speaker 1: They are very happy, but they're also very very spoiled. Man. Yes,
- 35:53Speaker 1: and it's because of me, and it's you know, I
- 35:57Speaker 1: know that, And there must be hard to say no
- 36:00Speaker 1: to your children. I recently a young child, and it
- 36:06Speaker 1: means it was the child was having a bad day
- 36:09Speaker 1: or a bad moment, and I was like, maybe I
- 36:11Speaker 1: don't maybe I don't have kids. I mean if you ever,
- 36:15Speaker 1: if you ever are thinking about having kids, I suggest
- 36:18Speaker 1: you go and hang out with somebody who has because no,
- 36:23Speaker 1: because if you really want to have kids, you'll be like,
- 36:25Speaker 1: I don't give a shit, I still want to do it.
- 36:26Speaker 1: If it's mine, it's it'll be different, obviously, But when
- 36:29Speaker 1: you're around a kid is being naughty and the parents
- 36:32Speaker 1: aren't rectifying it or giving the child consequences, and you're
- 36:37Speaker 1: watching a kid just stomp and run the room, it
- 36:40Speaker 1: can make one who doesn't have kids go maybe it's
- 36:44Speaker 1: not for me. It could unless you really want to
- 36:47Speaker 1: have kids, if you really want to have kids. Because
- 36:49Speaker 1: I remember when Casey and I were trying to have
- 36:53Speaker 1: children and we were around kids that were misbehaving, we
- 36:57Speaker 1: didn't give a shit. We still found the humor in it,
- 36:59Speaker 1: and after about it. Right now that it's our kids
- 37:02Speaker 1: doing that shit, it ain't funny. No, there's nothing funny
- 37:05Speaker 1: about any of it. And I know it's hard. I
- 37:09Speaker 1: see as someone who's never who only has a dog,
- 37:12Speaker 1: I see how hard it is. But you know what,
- 37:15Speaker 1: you still I still want to be like, oh my god,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I know nothing, but this kid needs a time out.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I know one thing. This kid needs a time out. Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: the thing's gonna work. Time out works for that moment
- 37:29Speaker 1: in time. Guess what's gonna happen. You're gonna be like,
- 37:32Speaker 1: you need another time out about fifteen minutes later. You
- 37:35Speaker 1: can't give out. You can't give out too many times out.
- 37:37Speaker 1: You'll spend the whole day in time out. That's been
- 37:39Speaker 1: the whole day in the room. It's crazy. Man. Did
- 37:42Speaker 1: you see that viral video of the little girl? This
- 37:44Speaker 1: is old, but but some I think Casey said it
- 37:47Speaker 1: to me. That little girl be man, let me tell
- 37:48Speaker 1: you something so funny. You just saw that I saw
- 37:53Speaker 1: a few years ago. But Casey just said it to me.
- 37:55Speaker 1: That girl is so naughty but so hilarious, so funny.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Let me tell you lynn Y. Yeah, she goes, let
- 38:01Speaker 1: me tell you something, Linda, that's not my name. Yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 1: And then teaching goes, my name is not Linda. You
- 38:10Speaker 1: saw that donald, Yeah, she goes, let me tell you something, Linda,
- 38:14Speaker 1: My name is not Linda. Not amused. Clearly gotten that
- 38:17Speaker 1: exact attitude before. It's like, yeah, it's just like you
- 38:21Speaker 1: sometimes have places that you gotta be. You gotta get
- 38:24Speaker 1: to work, you know what I mean? The things that
- 38:26Speaker 1: you gotta do in order to ensure that these motherfuckers
- 38:30Speaker 1: grow up to be healthy and happy and have food.
- 38:33Speaker 1: And these motherfucker's throwing monkey wrenches in your timetable. And
- 38:37Speaker 1: it's like, yo, and you can't lose it because when
- 38:40Speaker 1: my parents used to lose that shit and this shit
- 38:42Speaker 1: on me, I remember being like, that's fucked up. You
- 38:44Speaker 1: didn't have to lose your ship. So I try not
- 38:46Speaker 1: to lose my shit on my kids. But sometimes I
- 38:48Speaker 1: can't help it. Sometimes I'm like, damn it, I will
- 38:52Speaker 1: fuck you up right here and right now. Get in
- 38:56Speaker 1: the car. You know what I mean. Like, it's just
- 38:58Speaker 1: what it is, yo. All Right, we're gonna take a
- 39:01Speaker 1: break and um when we come back, we are going
- 39:04Speaker 1: to actually focus on the TV show Scrub and we're back.
- 39:15Speaker 1: You're gonna watch You're gonna watch all of the Spider
- 39:17Speaker 1: Man's no, he's talking about all of the Marvel universe
- 39:20Speaker 1: in order just like reliving reliving that magic again. That's
- 39:24Speaker 1: a lot of hours. Oh yeah, yeah, that's a that's
- 39:26Speaker 1: a commitment one. That's what we should do, Zach No,
- 39:34Speaker 1: I would rather do different strokes, all right, what about
- 39:41Speaker 1: if we well, oh man, we have to pick us.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I thought it almost happened. I thought it almost happened. Shit,
- 39:47Speaker 1: this is what we need to narrow it down to. Okay,
- 39:49Speaker 1: a sitcom that has an overlapping audience with Scrubs. I
- 39:55Speaker 1: don't mean situation. I don't mean audience. I mean you know,
- 39:57Speaker 1: a half hour comedy that has overlapping audience with Scrubs. Okay,
- 40:02Speaker 1: So like Friends the Office, I don't think the Community frasier. Well,
- 40:11Speaker 1: you had yelled once that you didn't want to do
- 40:12Speaker 1: a show with no black people, and now you're has
- 40:17Speaker 1: two gay people because it cancels out. I'd rather do Community,
- 40:20Speaker 1: which everyone says is Scrubs esque, or um, what's the
- 40:24Speaker 1: other one? Parks and rec Parks and Read, which has
- 40:27Speaker 1: Donald Glover. I think Community. Oh sorry, those are two
- 40:33Speaker 1: shows I've never seen. Pine. I've never seen a single
- 40:36Speaker 1: episode of either show. That's what I meant, Chris Pratt,
- 40:40Speaker 1: I've never seen a single episode of either show. And
- 40:43Speaker 1: people think and people think they're funny. Which of those
- 40:48Speaker 1: two do you guys like better? Oh? Better? That's a
- 40:51Speaker 1: tough one, really hard. I think you would appreciate Community
- 40:56Speaker 1: more because there's so many films. It's very cinematic like
- 41:02Speaker 1: it's it's a very cinematic television show, especially for a
- 41:05Speaker 1: half hour comedy. It was a star of at Joe,
- 41:08Speaker 1: Joel McHale, Joel McHale and Chevy Chase. Yeah, there was
- 41:12Speaker 1: a lot of people that was like a real ensemble cast.
- 41:15Speaker 1: And Joe mckelly's character was the JD Right. Yes, no not. Jillian.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Jillian's really good. I think she should actress. I love
- 41:27Speaker 1: the show Love, which you should watch. I've not said
- 41:30Speaker 1: it before, tried to Appatel produced it. It's called Love.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Jillian Jacobs. Jillian Jacobs, she's really talented. All right, Donald,
- 41:37Speaker 1: let's focus on Scrubs ready. We should watch maybe a
- 41:39Speaker 1: Jet Appatown movie. We should do all Apatown. The only
- 41:42Speaker 1: thing about doing movies I just wanted to I just
- 41:44Speaker 1: wanted you to realize is it's gonna be a lot.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It's gonna be hard to get through in an hour
- 41:49Speaker 1: and a half. And we're gonna to take the time
- 41:53Speaker 1: to watch and notate a movie every week, which schedules
- 41:57Speaker 1: is tricky, but we're really if we're doing it the
- 41:59Speaker 1: way we do this show, we could just watch it through,
- 42:03Speaker 1: take some notes here and there. I just think that
- 42:05Speaker 1: I just I just think we're both working a lot
- 42:08Speaker 1: these days, and watching a twenty two minute thing and
- 42:11Speaker 1: doing notes on it is easier than watching a two
- 42:14Speaker 1: hour movie and doing it. And also we barely get
- 42:16Speaker 1: through a twenty two minute show in an hour and
- 42:18Speaker 1: a half here because of all the digressions like writing
- 42:22Speaker 1: you that you do like right now, everybody likes a
- 42:25Speaker 1: little ass flay. Don't even act like you don't. Okay, ready,
- 42:28Speaker 1: let's so Elliott. You forgot about Beard for saying his
- 42:33Speaker 1: face full of macaroons? That's true? Yes, and Kelso is
- 42:39Speaker 1: like an amazing macaroni flicker flicker player. Um, jealous? A
- 42:48Speaker 1: bus driver? What about this line for us? Honkys? It's
- 42:51Speaker 1: a very important dance, I don't, I mean, like you
- 42:58Speaker 1: know it's an important dance for all a freaking sprinkler.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I didn't even know the bus driver, I mean as
- 43:05Speaker 1: a as a honky. I didn't know that any I
- 43:10Speaker 1: thought honky was just slang for white person. Sure, okay, um,
- 43:17Speaker 1: is it not? So we look it up on Dane.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Can you look up honky? Here we go? Here we go? No,
- 43:24Speaker 1: but did you know the dance? The bus driver? I
- 43:26Speaker 1: didn't even know it. I've never heard of it before.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Maybe it's before a time because it's maybe maybe it's
- 43:30Speaker 1: a build joke. He's a little bit older than us,
- 43:32Speaker 1: so Jad's jealous of the relationship between Elliott and her. Yes,
- 43:37Speaker 1: I hated j D in this episode. I'm really he
- 43:39Speaker 1: pissed me off, this fucking guy because because now he's tipped,
- 43:43Speaker 1: he's just he's torturing this fucking woman's life, you know her.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Now he's catching feelings again. Yeah, now he's catching feelings again.
- 43:54Speaker 1: And you know why, because he sees them getting closer
- 43:56Speaker 1: and closer and then a little why. That's not why
- 44:01Speaker 1: they had a moment where they hung out and he
- 44:04Speaker 1: was cheering her up because her boyfriend was out of town.
- 44:07Speaker 1: It's not because it's not because they were getting closer.
- 44:10Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with If that were the case,
- 44:12Speaker 1: then j D would be an ultimate asshole, okay, because
- 44:15Speaker 1: he was playing games on this poor fucking Absolutely he does.
- 44:20Speaker 1: But that's because he wants to be alone with her.
- 44:22Speaker 1: He wants to have his cake and eat Here's what happens.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Here's here's what we all eat cake, don't we Here's
- 44:28Speaker 1: what here's here's here's where where what happens. Her boyfriend
- 44:34Speaker 1: goes out of town. The two of them have a connection,
- 44:38Speaker 1: and he makes her laugh and he's like, wow, that
- 44:40Speaker 1: was a lot of fun. We should do that tonight.
- 44:43Speaker 1: She's like, I can't do it tonight. I got shipped
- 44:46Speaker 1: to do and he's like, oh, okay. At that moment,
- 44:49Speaker 1: her best friend comes in town from out of town,
- 44:52Speaker 1: from from from from back in the day, comes in
- 44:55Speaker 1: the town, right. She all of a sudden says, you
- 44:59Speaker 1: know what, let's go out tonight. We should do something.
- 45:03Speaker 1: JD's hurt by that, yes, and so because of that,
- 45:07Speaker 1: and because of the little bit of feelings that he's
- 45:10Speaker 1: kind of caught, he does the ultimate sabotage, which he
- 45:15Speaker 1: does a lie that is like the biggest punk move
- 45:19Speaker 1: ever in the history of Why would you ever? It
- 45:23Speaker 1: was such a doochey thing to do out of petty
- 45:25Speaker 1: jealousy and insecurity, Like that's something that Look, I get it.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Sometimes people do things that you know are better than
- 45:38Speaker 1: what you were able to do at that moment, But
- 45:41Speaker 1: that doesn't mean you go there and freaking take him
- 45:43Speaker 1: down and seen this friend and so long, and JD
- 45:47Speaker 1: makes up lie that would make any person go oh, well,
- 45:51Speaker 1: then fuck her and that's what happens. Then carry Russell.
- 45:57Speaker 1: What's her character's name? I gotta stop refriend or carry Russell.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Can you guys look that up for me please? Um?
- 46:04Speaker 1: But anyway, Carousse's character has this very bizarre idea because
- 46:07Speaker 1: she's sort of a party girl that we jd and
- 46:11Speaker 1: she started making out at the bar. But it can't
- 46:14Speaker 1: get serious like, yeah, well you didn't used to back
- 46:18Speaker 1: in the day. You know, I'm just saying I we
- 46:20Speaker 1: kept using the term mackin and I didn't melody as
- 46:23Speaker 1: her name, thank you. Um. We don't even use the
- 46:27Speaker 1: expression macin anymore. Really, I wonder if the kids do it. Nah,
- 46:32Speaker 1: my kids use the term tackle kissing. Oh my goodness,
- 46:37Speaker 1: you told us that the Dictionary definition of honky, the
- 46:40Speaker 1: Urban Dictionary, what does it say? Uh? Well, I looked
- 46:45Speaker 1: up a couple of things because I was curious if
- 46:48Speaker 1: this was actually true, because I've gotten a couple of
- 46:50Speaker 1: different things. One is that, yes, it's just a pejordan
- 46:52Speaker 1: of term for a white person, the jordan of term
- 46:54Speaker 1: for a white person. But also somebody somebody said that
- 46:56Speaker 1: it also potentially came from um slavery days because slave
- 47:01Speaker 1: owners would honk a horn, and they would call that
- 47:03Speaker 1: person a honky. That is not substantiated anywhere else, um,
- 47:06Speaker 1: other than urban diary. Well, I know where crack it
- 47:08Speaker 1: comes from. Yeah, we've discussed the origins to talk about that. Um.
- 47:12Speaker 1: There's also the term may have begun in the meat
- 47:14Speaker 1: packing plants of Chicago. According to Robert Henderson, author of
- 47:16Speaker 1: Encyclopedi of Warden for his origins, black workers on Chicago
- 47:19Speaker 1: meat packing plants picked up a turn from white workers
- 47:20Speaker 1: and began applying it indiscriminately to all whites. Okay, well,
- 47:25Speaker 1: I think we'll stick with pejorative term for white. Yes,
- 47:27Speaker 1: we'll go with that all right. Anywhere a honky, we
- 47:35Speaker 1: both are Zack. I mean if if, if I, if
- 47:40Speaker 1: the shoe fits, we can only hope to be Macklemore.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Isn't at least be a cold ass honky as it works?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Can I have that from my soundboard? Danny? Yeah, guys
- 47:52Speaker 1: should use honky. You guys should use honky to wit
- 47:57Speaker 1: black people. Oh so when I see Daniel, I'm like,
- 47:59Speaker 1: my honky, Yeah, what's up? Honky? Oh listen, honky. I'm
- 48:04Speaker 1: gonna be covering my eyes on that one. That's how
- 48:07Speaker 1: y'all should do it. That would be the best. That
- 48:11Speaker 1: would be best day ever if y'all went out into
- 48:13Speaker 1: the street and did that shit like and every time
- 48:16Speaker 1: you y'all say, what's up, my honky? If y'all did
- 48:18Speaker 1: that shit, that would be the best. Oh my god,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I laughed so hard. I would laugh. I don't think
- 48:23Speaker 1: young people today know the term. I feel like it's
- 48:25Speaker 1: it's feeding out of existence. Ain't nothing like Red Fox
- 48:29Speaker 1: saying yeah, yeah, Red Fox used to love saying honky.
- 48:36Speaker 1: George Jefferson didn't he Yes, George Jefferson said it way
- 48:41Speaker 1: more than Red Fox did. Which, Oh my god, we
- 48:46Speaker 1: should rewatch the Jefferson's I Love You. Put it on
- 48:50Speaker 1: the list. Put it on the list, all put it on.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Here's my dear, here's my pitch. Right. What about Saffon
- 48:55Speaker 1: and Sun. We should we watch Stefon and Son? Yeah?
- 48:57Speaker 1: I just I just that'sh It's funny, man, it's funny.
- 49:00Speaker 1: I probably funny. I think the Jeffersons is more accessible.
- 49:05Speaker 1: This is the only problem with the Jeffersons. And all right,
- 49:07Speaker 1: so look, it's at some point Sitcom's got so crazy
- 49:10Speaker 1: that everything happened to these motherfuckers. Yeah there, but no,
- 49:17Speaker 1: like different strokes, different strokes. Everything happened to either Arnold, Willis,
- 49:24Speaker 1: Kimberly or Dudley, and then Sam came along later, and
- 49:28Speaker 1: then things happened to Sam. The same thing with the
- 49:37Speaker 1: Facts of Life. The Facts of Life. There's doesn't doesn't
- 49:40Speaker 1: denied on a very special episode of the Facts of Life.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Every week of the Facts of Life. At one point,
- 49:47Speaker 1: didn't she they try to traffic sex traffics. Okay, that
- 49:54Speaker 1: I feel like. I feel like the Jeffersons falls into
- 49:58Speaker 1: that category at that era. Sandford and Son not so much. Man.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I feel like some of the issues that they go through,
- 50:07Speaker 1: We're like, we gotta get the couch through the door.
- 50:09Speaker 1: I really want to watch Sanford and Son. You're making
- 50:13Speaker 1: me want to watch it, But I just think Joelle
- 50:15Speaker 1: will make a master list. Here's one idea, right, here's
- 50:18Speaker 1: a good pitch ready, here's a good pitch ready. Yeah,
- 50:31Speaker 1: where's the what's the one with Freddie Prince Senior, Chico
- 50:36Speaker 1: and the Man. Come on, let's do it. Cheek n
- 50:42Speaker 1: night Court. I love night Court cheers. Fuck yeah, they're
- 50:46Speaker 1: not doing it. Fuck it. Everybody the office is already
- 50:49Speaker 1: doing that shit, the fucking uh Friends, I'm sure somebody's
- 50:52Speaker 1: doing that shit. No, no, no one's doing it. No
- 50:54Speaker 1: one's doing the Friends yet. No, none of the none
- 50:56Speaker 1: of the cast is a Friends. Let's see, I suggested
- 51:00Speaker 1: Friends to you, and you said there's no black people
- 51:02Speaker 1: in it. You didn't want to It's true, even though
- 51:04Speaker 1: I heard that one of the creators of Friends just
- 51:06Speaker 1: give money. Yeah, yeah, it made a hefty donation. She
- 51:09Speaker 1: she she was holding on to that guilt for a while,
- 51:13Speaker 1: and all of a sudden it amassed a lot of
- 51:15Speaker 1: money towards the donation. Hey, listen, here's the idea, Joel,
- 51:20Speaker 1: what do you think about this? Listening, we narrow it
- 51:23Speaker 1: down to let's say six shows, and for the audience,
- 51:28Speaker 1: we live to the pilots, and we see which pilot
- 51:36Speaker 1: we all like the most and which one we want
- 51:38Speaker 1: to pursue, and we can also and we can also
- 51:41Speaker 1: maybe even do a poll with the audience. That's not fair. Friends, Well,
- 51:46Speaker 1: first of all, the Friends pilot is one of the
- 51:47Speaker 1: best pilots you'll ever see, so you can't base it
- 51:49Speaker 1: on like somebody's pilots are so good. Well, the smartest
- 51:53Speaker 1: one to do would be Friends you know why, it's
- 51:56Speaker 1: the most popular. It's the most popular one probably with
- 51:58Speaker 1: our audience. Yes, So if you want the one that
- 52:03Speaker 1: the most people have actually watched, my wife love that.
- 52:07Speaker 1: The only thing is the only thing is I mean,
- 52:12Speaker 1: I grew up in New York City and I can't
- 52:15Speaker 1: relate to the size. About what about create a black
- 52:18Speaker 1: corner where you could tell us how it really would
- 52:20Speaker 1: have been? How about this? How about this? How about this?
- 52:23Speaker 1: How about this? How about we do friends and then
- 52:26Speaker 1: and then the black corner is we do the living
- 52:29Speaker 1: single version? We play so when we live a single?
- 52:33Speaker 1: First once a month, we do once a month, we
- 52:38Speaker 1: do two to seven. Oh, how about we do living
- 52:42Speaker 1: single and friends at the same time. Pilot episode sing
- 52:47Speaker 1: why because it's friends and it's black people? Is that
- 52:50Speaker 1: the premiers? I never I didn't know anything about it.
- 52:52Speaker 1: That's what it came before friends. And it's literally literally
- 52:56Speaker 1: we could make friends. It's literally the exact same shitts
- 53:01Speaker 1: for other people, same relationship, their apartment building. Two people
- 53:07Speaker 1: don't live in the apartment building. Two four people do?
- 53:12Speaker 1: All right, well, do you like my living? Do you
- 53:16Speaker 1: like concept and got and got you, gotta and Gotta fly?
- 53:21Speaker 1: Ass fucking theme song. Also, all right, listen, here's my
- 53:25Speaker 1: pitch is that we narrow it down off air till
- 53:28Speaker 1: like six or so shows, and then we and then
- 53:33Speaker 1: we do the pilot episode uh for the audience, and
- 53:36Speaker 1: then we as a group find which show we think
- 53:39Speaker 1: we should do. We don't have to We don't have
- 53:42Speaker 1: to include the audience if you don't want Donald, because
- 53:44Speaker 1: maybe that would just I would just friends would win.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I'm saying we could also Joel could set up a
- 53:48Speaker 1: website where they could they could vote for which they
- 53:51Speaker 1: want to audience. I want the audience to be a
- 53:54Speaker 1: part of this because okay, so Joelle and looking setting
- 53:57Speaker 1: up a website are the ones that will be listening.
- 54:00Speaker 1: We do have say though, I'm sorry, we do have
- 54:02Speaker 1: say but ye no, we will yeah, because if they
- 54:04Speaker 1: say they say they want to do what one, we
- 54:07Speaker 1: can still overrule them. I would like to I'm not
- 54:09Speaker 1: gonna lie. I would like to do either like Xena
- 54:11Speaker 1: Worrior Princess not that or Hercules No young Hercules, but
- 54:16Speaker 1: Ryan Gosling Hercules. What about young Hercules? What about what
- 54:20Speaker 1: about landing the Loss? The original? Let's go go hell,
- 54:26Speaker 1: y'all remember that but the sleep was so trippy. Marsha,
- 54:32Speaker 1: Will and Holly go ahead on a rouutine expedition, comes
- 54:39Speaker 1: in grade des earthquake Heaven. They go down to things,
- 54:48Speaker 1: to the Land of the Last. Oh that was fine,
- 54:55Speaker 1: Oh land had Oh God, why did you? Why did
- 55:05Speaker 1: you end on such a horrible note? Listen. If you're
- 55:09Speaker 1: listening and you have no idea what we're talking about,
- 55:11Speaker 1: will you please um go on YouTube and look at
- 55:14Speaker 1: the original Land of the Lost. Just watch a clip
- 55:16Speaker 1: to see how fucking trippy this show was that we
- 55:18Speaker 1: grew up on. It was about Marshall, Will and Holly
- 55:23Speaker 1: and they were like on some routine expert. They were
- 55:26Speaker 1: just now you're just speaking the theme song. They were
- 55:28Speaker 1: on our routine expedition with the greatest earthquake ever known
- 55:32Speaker 1: happens yea, and then then falling into a un of
- 55:35Speaker 1: waterfall into the Land of the Lost where they were stuck. Yes,
- 55:42Speaker 1: And didn't they do a remake? They did? Yeah, don't
- 55:46Speaker 1: watch the remake. I'm not talking about the remake. We're
- 55:49Speaker 1: talking about the original show. Did they tell you about?
- 55:51Speaker 1: Tell me what year the original show aired so I
- 55:53Speaker 1: can tell it's definitely the seventies. And who ever wrote
- 55:57Speaker 1: this show was high as balls. All right, So you
- 56:04Speaker 1: were in an air band with Lloyd? I haven't left
- 56:06Speaker 1: the first page in my notes, by the way, But anyway,
- 56:08Speaker 1: Lloyd says, weren't we in an air band? And then
- 56:11Speaker 1: he shows off his air drumming skills, which was very funny. Yes,
- 56:14Speaker 1: and he goes, I think we were the way he
- 56:18Speaker 1: says that last button, he kind of sounds like minor
- 56:22Speaker 1: his first him. Then you, yeah, that's Mike's intonation. Hey,
- 56:28Speaker 1: the janitor um um torments the pediatrics ward as a
- 56:34Speaker 1: ghost the kids ward. Yeah, and he's the ghost that
- 56:37Speaker 1: hates spills. Did you notice who that kid was? Okay,
- 56:40Speaker 1: so we got two makeups. I guess the dude that
- 56:42Speaker 1: won the Academy Award for Coday was the dad. Oh yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 1: I thought that may have been the case. And I
- 56:51Speaker 1: thought we fucked up that up. Okay. Plenty of people
- 56:54Speaker 1: on the Internet said, I can't believe they didn't say this.
- 56:57Speaker 1: All right, I'm sorry, Internet, I'm sorry fans. I should
- 57:00Speaker 1: be purged. Um it's it was the star of Coda okay.
- 57:05Speaker 1: And what's the other one? And I think that's the kid,
- 57:08Speaker 1: the kid in the bed I think that's Zach or Cody,
- 57:11Speaker 1: one of those two, one of the sprouse these, one
- 57:13Speaker 1: of the sproutse brouses. Can you look that up for
- 57:16Speaker 1: me anyway, So the janitor haunts a pediatric ward um
- 57:20Speaker 1: and the little boy says, oh, no, I spilled. I
- 57:24Speaker 1: don't want the ghost to eight spills to come out.
- 57:26Speaker 1: I think that's either Zach or Cody. That kid right there,
- 57:29Speaker 1: I think it is Um. And the janitor is pissed
- 57:32Speaker 1: that the kids gets to eat ice cream after they
- 57:34Speaker 1: have their tonsils out, because when he had his out
- 57:36Speaker 1: he had to have hot coffee and granola bars and
- 57:40Speaker 1: it was hot and scratchy. The janitor had the worst
- 57:44Speaker 1: parents ever. He had a cage also, yeah, the cage. Yes,
- 57:48Speaker 1: he lived in a cage. What was it like kissing
- 57:51Speaker 1: Carrie Russell? I've always I've always thought she was so
- 57:56Speaker 1: beautiful and um, such a good actress. I don't I
- 58:00Speaker 1: remember being being excited that I got to smooth her.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Do you remember that rant that you did when you
- 58:08Speaker 1: were leaving the bar after you get uh, I don't
- 58:12Speaker 1: fucking hilarious. I don't remember, but it went on a
- 58:14Speaker 1: long time. Obviously, Bill like that because I just kept
- 58:17Speaker 1: it kept. It was the most awkward, long moment, kept
- 58:23Speaker 1: coming back and then you're like, I'm doing it. I'm
- 58:27Speaker 1: going to pay Yeah, one hundred dollars ye for one
- 58:31Speaker 1: Apple team, which quite frankly, was really easy on the
- 58:35Speaker 1: teenving was light. Yeah, he was from his name child's
- 58:41Speaker 1: name was William Brent from lab Rats, which is a
- 58:43Speaker 1: Disney TV show. Did you know the show lab Rats?
- 58:48Speaker 1: It wasn't that a movie too? It's from your kids generations.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I thought you might know it. Then we see the
- 58:57Speaker 1: ghost in the background while j D and and right
- 59:02Speaker 1: so he could float and there's a whole scene. It's
- 59:07Speaker 1: very funny. There's a whole scene in the foreground. Jad
- 59:10Speaker 1: and Elliott are having a conversation and in the background
- 59:12Speaker 1: through the glass window you just see the ghost tormenting
- 59:16Speaker 1: pediatrics for it. Yes, as the janitor floats around. Yes, Um,
- 59:24Speaker 1: Shelina has a cameo in the bar um Um Elliott?
- 59:30Speaker 1: Is it Elliott? Or Elliott makes some joke right Jad
- 59:35Speaker 1: that it would that woman wouldn't touch you unless she'd
- 59:38Speaker 1: had eight beers? Is that Elliott? And then they cut
- 59:42Speaker 1: to a beautiful woman that was Shelina who was Um
- 59:45Speaker 1: also the Mermaid, also the Mermaid and Sarah standing the
- 59:48Speaker 1: mermaid was out like splash, I guess yes. And in
- 59:51Speaker 1: the whole Shelina side story, she's a mermaid that's in
- 59:55Speaker 1: town and has legs because she's out of the water. Yes,
- 59:58Speaker 1: Kelso calls you doctor trickle Berry. Well, it's funny. What
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: was really funny is that this whole thing, I like,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I got duped because I really believe that Cox was
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: being a dick, like Cox is always like like I
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: even think I think most people that watched this episode
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: was was like, well, that's Cox being Cox, and you know,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Carlo stands up to him for her husband when and
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: makes them feel guilty when really, but that's what this
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: whole episode's about, the guilt you feel after you do
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: someone wrong, right, and Cox feels really guilty, and it
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: turns out that these cats were playing a trick on them.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And what my favorite, my favorite part about it was
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: at the end of it, Turk finally says to them, Yo,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: don't fuck with me ever again. Dude, Yeah, if you
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: ever fuck with me, this is what it's gonna be like, Yeah,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I am not the one. And then that was don't
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: do don't don't do with me. Play lotto. You got
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: a lot more chances of winning. Yeah. By the way,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Mickhead's a surgeon. Did you know that. Yeah, for some reason,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I was surprised that Mickhead was a surgeon. You slap
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Mickhead on the ass when you get the file, when
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you get the surgery. By the way, even Turk. First
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: of all, it's very funny the way so Turk Turk
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: tricks Cox because what he did was he just put
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: he didn't he just in the skin, which is still
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: fucked up that you even did this, But in the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: skin he just puts some thread to make it look
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: like he did surgery on his arm. Yeah, Lloyd pulls
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: it out. And then Lloyd pulls the string out like oh,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: no Scar. He goes, wow, cool, no Scar. But I
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: laughed the way that everyone came together, Turk Kelso Carla
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: to trick Cox and even Lloyd by setting up a
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: TV of a heart surgery and showing it to him,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and Turk says Lloyd and Lloyd says, what's that? And
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Turk is behind a curtain and he said, Lloyd, that's
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: your shoulder sack. And Lloyd goes, well, he's lying it's
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: surgery watching it. Yes, I don't remember they shit at all.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Remember it really looked like he was watching TV too,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: He's sitting there. Really. Yeah, he loved it, and then
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: you fixed his whole condition because in psychosomatically he thought
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: he'd been healed. Yeah. Great, it was very funny, very funny.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: And then I'm embarrassed to say maybe not embarrassed. I
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: was surprised to say that. I got full goosebumps when
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Keith proposed, did you sweet? I love the fact? So funny.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: You know they're gonna have a romantic moment when they
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: put that fucking filter on the lens. Yeah, everything gets soft,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: everything so soft. They tipped it, Bill, not to not
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to not to a critique you're directing at all, which
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: is very very good in this episode. But you did
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: tip the moment a little bit because Elliott, before even
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Keith comes home, they got that filter on the lens.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: There's something super romantic about to happen, something something soft.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: But I did. I got goose bumps all over my
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: body when Keith proposed, Um, it was very romantic. He said,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I didn't go away at a business trip. I went
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to go ask your father for your Yeah, what business
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: does Keith have? What business is probably a conference? No,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: he's still an Internet I thought he did a motherfucking intern.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I forgot what he said. Did he did? He seem
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: to going to a conference or some shit. I don't
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: know if it was a business trip that mother we
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: should have known right then, should have known better. But anyway, Uh,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: it was very romantic. He instead went to where Elliott's from,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: which is Connecticut, I believe, and since we've established that
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: this is definitely Los Angeles, Um, it's a far trip Keith.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Keith went to Connecticut to ask for nowadays he could assumed.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: It's not as romantic as showing up on the front
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: stoop of the woman you want to marry his parents
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: store and saying I have your daughter's hand in marriage.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: And they said, yes, yeah, Well, Eliot's an we've seen,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: we've we've seen we've seen her parents, and we know
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: how crazy her parents are too. Yeah, but he's he's
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: what they want. He's like an aryan doctor. Do you
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: think Elliot's mom came on to him? Um, she definitely
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: had a drink and flirted, because you know, Elliot's mom
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: did everybody. Now you know what's going to happen? Because
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Jad is such a twisted fucker. I don't even have
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: to know remember the episodes to know he's gonna he's
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: gonna pull up the graduate He's gonna pull up graduate shit. Yes,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: he's gonna do some graduate ship. He's gonna do some
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: graduate shit. Bang on the glass. No, fuck your sound
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: effects machine. All right, we're gonna take a quick break. Yeah, Donald,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: do you sound effects somewhere? Michael Winslow is kicking the wall. Joe,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: we haven't had a guest for a while. Who's not
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Rob Nashelle? And Joelle is here to save the day.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: We'll be right back, everybody. I'm bad um all right,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Joelle bringing the guests. Plays play music down. We got
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: a college you can talk start show us, you know,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: like a botta spoke some jazz maybe talking about the episode.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: So come on, Joelle, let's get the show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: give it up. You're muted, she's muted? What up? Y'all? Donald?
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: You organize this? I didn't organize this. I'm gonna Oh,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: it's just Joel and I should I say this might
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: have been my most seamless beginning yet, Yes, I was muted,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: but you're recording. Oh my god, you were muted, but
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: he recorded. Are you trapped in an elevator again? I've
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: got no but man, I'm in Portugal, so it's really late.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: So I'm already a couple of glasses. And what are
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you doing in Portugal? She's on a family vacation, right
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I am. I'm here with twelve family members, and you
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: guys are always teasing me about having a ridiculous travel adventure.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I don't think this is like particularly unique right now
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: in the world, because travel's insane for everyone. Yes, and
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: by the Wadians are coming out in droves talking about
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: how particularly bad Canada is. Sarah, Okay, so I mean
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: everywhere is bad, but I just happened to see in
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: the news that a lot of Canadian famous people were saying,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: what the fuck Air Canada? Right? Yeah, So we were
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: flying twelve of us, six of whom were children, two
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: of whom are my parents. And we left Vancouver our
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: on the runway. Not a big deal, get to Montreal late,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: not a big deal. They say they're holding the flight.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Fantastic news. And they say to everyone on the flight,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: can you please keep your seats so that everyone running
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: to their connecting flights can get to the front of
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: the plane. So we do that, and all of a sudden,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: one of the flight attendants starts yelling at someone saying,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: you're raking Transport Canada rules. You shouldn't have crossed this line.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: And they're like, oh, I thought we were supposed to
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: come to the front. So someone starting having a panic attack.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Then they say, accidentally the door at the back of
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the plane was opened, so now we're going to load
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: off the back, and now everybody's standing up so and
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: they can only load off like a hundred people at
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: a time, and you have to get on a shuttle.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: And since we had to go to international instead of domestic,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: now we've got to shuttle all the way back. So
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: we get into this shuttle about an hour later. We're
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: setting on the plane for like an hour and everyone's
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: yelling like COVID super spreader event. People are yelling shit,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I don't know people. One person. We get on the
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: shuttle and they squeeze us all on and now it's
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: like really nuts, like it's so hot and you can't
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: move it. It's like an hour on the tarmac and
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: people are yelling. Six kids COVID's super spread er. We
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: got six kids, and then someone faints because it's so
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: hot in there. Oh my goodness. And my sister is
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: a doctor and she's like, please, can we move this shuttle.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: We're having a medical emergency. And there's like there's nothing
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: we can do. So anyways, long story long, we get
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: off the plane. We run to the gate, all the
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: way from like landing in international, shuttling back to domestic,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: sprinting back to International. We get there, the plane still
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: there and they won't open the gate, and where they're like,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: there's twelve of us. And so what ends up happening
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: is it's Formula one in Montreal, so there's no like
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Montreal Airport is exploding. And so the woman's like it's
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: gonna be fine. Just go get your bags, go through customs.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: There's gonna be somebody there to help you to Canada.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: And I was like, I've got six kids, it's the
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: middle of the night. Please tell me it's not gonna
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: be like a one hour wait. She's like no, no, no,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: so it's a five hour wait. So I mean I
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: start like begging that. I'm literally begging this woman. She goes,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: you need to go to the back of the line.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I was like, I've waited for five hours, like please, please, please, Like,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I have six children, is there we Oh, there's no
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: more flights to Europe for like a week, um, she said,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: And I was like yeah, so she says, and I
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: was like, but I have six kids here who have
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: been like, this is their first trip since COVID, so
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: they've been counting down the sleeps for seven decent and
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: for seventy of them, So please just get us in
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: a plane. It's the middle of the night. We end
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: up going home with no result. Got a few hours
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: sleep at a hotel. There's oh yeah, to hotel. There's
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: no hotels because it's Formula one. So finally we find
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: this place they will take you know, twelve. We sleep
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: for a few hours. I go back. I line up again,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: just begging, begging, begging, there's nothing we can do. Finally
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: they get us twelve seats on a plane. I'm so stoked.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: We go to check in. They're like, great, twelve to
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Lyon right, and I'm like to France, no, we're going
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: to Portugal. They booked us on a flight to France,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: and my sister's like, let's just go to France. We'll
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: take a twenty for our train. It's fine, let's just
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: get to Europe. Let's just get somewhere in Europe. And
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: so I was like, no, let's try, let's try, let's try.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: So anyways, this woman's Sophie, who's like an angel sent
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: from the sky. She says, give me the past sports,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: give me the stack, give me the stack of passports,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: and she basically goes, okay, I can get I can
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: get four of you to Rome right now, for to
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Rome and then to Lisbon. Who can go? And I'm like,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I'll take my kids and my niece Flora done. Then
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I'll take my kids bye, Okay, okay. To be fair
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: in the wrong, at first they had my parents and
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: my sister direct to Lisbon. We're like, let's get my
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: parents there direct. Then they were like, who can go
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: to Rome? I take my kids and my niece. Then
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: they're like, okay, two can go to Toronto, my little
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: sister and my other niece. Then they're like, okay, we
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: can get three more to Rome. So we have this
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: like amazing race style journey where we're like, okay, team
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Rome is definitely going to come and last. And then
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: by this crazy like Team Toronto got stack in Toronto
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: for seven hours. Toronto Toronto got at the short strong
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: no team. So Team Toronto was supposed to have like
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: a pretty quick connection to Lisbon. They had a seven
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: hour delay and it was just like we were texting
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: each other the updates and someone's like, oh, they're doing
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: a wheel change. I'm like, I've never even heard of
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: an airplane having like a wheel change, you know that.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: I don't like the sound of wheel change a right
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: when you hear this plane might be cursed if it's
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: got a wheel at that point, if they were like
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: they're rebuilding the aircraft, that'd be like fantastic news. Please,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: for the love of God, six children. So sorry, did
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: anyone in air Canada ever um ever contact you? I mean,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: did you contact them? Did anyone ever say? Oops? No?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: So they lost our luggage, all of it obviously? Oh
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: my god, So I knows where your luggage went? God news,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Wait did it ever end? Did it ever end up
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: coming to Portugal? So we just got half of it.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: And that's after me every morning being on the phone.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I spent about an hour every morning on the fourth
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: They are Canada and it's faster if you click in French.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: So it's just like every morning, I'm like dues Pelson's
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: pills on. So this is like how I start my morning. Love,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I don't know what wonderful getting so like making so
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: much fun of me because this other side of me
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: comes out when I talk to baggage. And then we
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: end up, you know, getting there. And the best part
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: was that my niece that was the most excited that
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: literally like planned Portugal, picked Portugal as the destination. She's
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: twelve and she was on Team Toronto and they were
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: supposed to get there before us, and she excitedly like
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: runs off the plane, runs out of the airport, and
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: then she sees the team Roam got there first, and
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: her whole face just like she no longer excited to
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: be Portgal. She was just like, what is Team Rome
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: doing here? Don't you win the race? But you still
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: don't have all your luggage. I still don't have a luggage. Unfortunately,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: both my parents got covid. Um. Oh, this is such
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: it really she's they're okay. They're luckily, you know, they
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: had a four vaccines, so they got sick, but they're okay.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: This story is called Sarah Chalk goes on a trip,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Part Part eight, Audience audience. If it were back in
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: the scrub days, she'd be saying it a little faster
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: and more to breath. And then team romans, okay, they
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: did you hear what she said? Well, did you hear
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: what she said before that? She said, she's a few
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: drinks and so so maybe calm your down. She's not
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: out of breath. How so far it's so beautiful. I've
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: never been here and it's just like magical. And the
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: beaches are nuts and the water is so gorgeous. The
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: food is amazing. Um, it's like the beginning obviously was
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: not without a bit of stress. But Sarah, you have
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: a family, and this to me is rare that really
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: all gets along with each other. Yeah, a lot of
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: families when they take about twelve of them going on on,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: are you living in the same house, We're we're sort
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: of We've have enough, we have enough space, we have
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: enough space. It's great, Yeah, all right, because there's a
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: lot of families listening who go a trip in the
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: same house with twelve of my family members. I think
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna steal with no luggage. Everybody's wearing base no
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: luggage and two people have and parents get covid. Um. No,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: we're having a good time. We just uh, we just

- 1:14:19Speaker 1: it to the semi finals in the You're asking if
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: we get along. This is how weird. My family is
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: at dinner tonight. We're having so I don't know how
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: this started, but a chicken competition and of who does
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the best chicken? Yeah, who could do the best chicken impression? No,

- 1:15:25Speaker 1: the first, the first carry Rustle episode where she comes
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: and then Keith and then Keith proposes to you at
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: the end of the episode. All right, it's very romantic.
