Lady Caught Selling Turtles Online | Alexandria Louisiana News
A Louisiana woman got a $350 ticket for selling native turtles online—yes, really. Sydney Broussard, 32, was busted by Wildlife and Fisheries after social media posts revealed she was peddling red-eared sliders for $8 and alligator snapping turtles for $30. Agents seized six sliders and returned them to the wild, while Broussard admitted to moving the animals. This case underscores how even small wildlife transactions can break local laws—and how community tips help enforce them.
