- 0:28Hey, everybody. Good morning From the chicken
- 0:31coop. Apparently I have someone over
- 0:33here who's very noisy in the background and has lots of
- 0:36things to say. So here, how long she's gonna go
- 0:40on and on anyway. OK, so today we are talking
- 0:45about the fact that just because you know something, it is not
- 0:49enough, you actually have to apply it and do it.
- 0:54We can't. We can't even just do it through
- 0:57Will. We can't even just say, well,
- 0:58I'm willing to do it, being willing to do it, not enough.
- 1:01You actually have to get off your butt and do it.
- 1:05You actually have to pour into things.
- 1:08And a big challenge that a lot of us have is taking the action,
- 1:13saying, OK, I'm, I'm going to take the action.
- 1:16I'm going to actually stick with it and do it.
- 1:19So I'm in the process of doing a rebranding.
- 1:23For my personal stuff, and I have been reading nonstop,
- 1:29watching videos nonstop, taking courses nonstop.
- 1:33Because I want to do this in a way that I've not done it
- 1:37before. I'm very good at doing this for
- 1:39other people. I suck at doing it for myself.
- 1:43And I can't answer the questions of the experts that I would, you
- 1:47know, bring into doing this with me one of my dearest, dearest
- 1:51people in that I love working with.
- 1:55I'm working on this with her, and I can't give her the
- 1:57information because I can't answer the questions, because I
- 1:59don't pour into it and don't find out.
- 2:01So there are things I know but and I'm willing to answer them,
- 2:05but I actually have to do it. And sitting my ass down and
- 2:08actually doing it can sometimes be a challenge because I'm
- 2:11always doing stuff for other people.
- 2:14So this process and engaging in this has really taught me so
- 2:18much. I can't even begin to tell you
- 2:20how much I have learned from this process because, again, not
- 2:25it knowing is not enough. Yes, I know this stuff forwards
- 2:28and backwards. Doesn't mean I can't.
- 2:31I'm doing it for myself. Am I willing to do it for
- 2:33myself? Yes.
- 2:34But it doesn't mean I'm still doing it for myself.
- 2:36And I thought, gosh, there's so much gold in talking to y'all
- 2:40about this because it is. One of the most difficult things
- 2:44that I personally have had to go through last night, I'm sitting
- 2:49there and I'm with my husband and we're talking about it.
- 2:51And I'm asking him his opinion and where he says I'll help you
- 2:55and I'll give you distinctions and we're sitting there, we're
- 2:59talking and then I'm getting aggravated and it's pushing all
- 3:01my buttons and I'm like, why he's trying to help me?
- 3:03Why am I doing this? What is the reason that I am
- 3:06acting like this right now? And as soon as I stop asking the
- 3:10why question, which is the deadly question of all, and I
- 3:13move into what's the reason I'm acting this way.
- 3:15The reason is because I just want to get it done.
- 3:18And I'm thinking to myself, OK, I've been doing this for weeks,
- 3:21I've been doing this since the beginning of the year, really
- 3:23defining, developing, writing, doing all this work.
- 3:27And and I'm at a point where I'm just frustrated and I want it
- 3:31done. And now I'm like, OK, we're
- 3:34halfway through the year. So the frustration is building.
- 3:37And I'm telling you all this because I want you to know this
- 3:40happens to everybody, not just you, OK?
- 3:44This happens to everybody. And I think it's valuable to
- 3:47hear somebody who's done this with other people has these
- 3:51issues too. So as I'm struggling and I'm
- 3:53trying to figure it out and I'm working through it and I'm
- 3:56listening to myself and I'm answering questions and I'm
- 3:58like, I don't even like my answers.
- 4:00What the heck am I doing? So?
- 4:03Pulling back, hearing it to say to myself, OK, that the level at
- 4:09which you are doing this is, is the frustrating point.
- 4:12You have to stop and you have to say, you know what, I have to
- 4:16just pull myself back. And I have to realize this is a
- 4:20commitment and it's not about the time, it's about getting it
- 4:23right. You said from the beginning it
- 4:24was about getting it right, so. Recalibrate, stop, pull back,
- 4:30ask the better questions and recognize that the desire is the
- 4:35beginning, but it is not enough. You have to be willing to take
- 4:40the actions. So last night I made the
- 4:43commitment that I was going to sit there and I was going to do
- 4:46this, and I was going to take the action necessary to get the
- 4:48outcomes because it's the only way I'm going to make it work.
- 4:52And all the stress went away. As soon as I started defining it
- 4:56in a different way, all the stress went away.
- 4:58I accepted the fact that this is a process and if the process
- 5:01takes me a little bit of time, okay, so be it.
- 5:04The process can take me a little bit of time and I'm willing to
- 5:07do it. So I wanted to share that with
- 5:09everybody once. So you know it's in the doing
- 5:13and the learning is in the doing and the discovery is in the
- 5:16doing. So whatever you're working on
- 5:20and you're going through, and you might be struggling or you
- 5:22might not be struggling just to own the fact that this is a
- 5:26process and it can be a fun process, it doesn't have to be a
- 5:31depleting process. You can make it a fun process,
- 5:35but you have to be willing to do that.
- 5:38And I wasn't willing for a little bit of time and now I am
- 5:41again. So I hope that this was valuable
- 5:44to you, my friends. I hope that you're willing to
- 5:46take the action, do the work, and I will see you all tomorrow
- 5:50morning and maybe I'll have answers, but but it's going to
- 5:55be a bit of a I think I've probably got another couple
- 5:58weeks of discovery, but we'll see.
- 6:00Alright my friends, I hope you have a blessed day and I'll see
- 6:02you tomorrow. Bye.
