- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39If you're honest, do you ever? Find yourself triggered when
- 0:42you're. Driving.
- 0:43Maybe someone pulls out in front of you, maybe they're too close
- 0:47behind you. Tailgating.
- 0:49Does it set you off? Does it make you angry?
- 0:51Does it make you anxious? If so, this session might be
- 0:55beneficial for you. It's Adam here and I was working
- 0:58with a client that those kind of things would trigger an anger
- 1:02response. And part of that came from many
- 1:06years before a non Rd. related issue where someone came up
- 1:11behind them in their personal space and attacked them.
- 1:14And because of that, personal space became a very emotive
- 1:19boundary for them and that had transferred even to their cars.
- 1:24And you can imagine why. You know, your human personal
- 1:28space normally is about, you know, half meter radius around
- 1:31you. But your car needs more personal
- 1:34space around it. And if people encroach on that,
- 1:37it can create some quite heated reactions.
- 1:40You probably witnessed at least a couple of road rage incidents
- 1:44in your time. Now, this client didn't want to
- 1:46feel that way. They wanted to feel more
- 1:48empowered, more relaxed, unbothered, unfazed.
- 1:52And that's what you're going to hear in this hypnosis session.
- 1:55It uses various techniques like disassociation, anchoring,
- 1:59direct suggestion, metaphor, and the whole essence of it is that
- 2:05they are rotected. It uses the metaphor of a force
- 2:07field that other people can't encroach into their energetic
- 2:11space. It uses an element of
- 2:13gamification that it's just a game.
- 2:15And if they get triggered into being baited into rage, this
- 2:19term rage baiting has become more popular over the last few
- 2:22years. Then they lose.
- 2:23But if they can not take the bait, then they win.
- 2:27And it's all designed to be empowering so that whatever
- 2:30happens, happens and they don't have to be emotionally affected
- 2:34by it because it's the emotional bit that can lead to escalation.
- 2:38So if you have been a victim of feeling rage behind the wheel,
- 2:43you might get some value from this.
- 2:45Please be aware though that the actual session itself it wasn't
- 2:48a generic road rage hypnosis. It was created.
- 2:50For a specific individual, a client, and therefore some of
- 2:54the suggestions are highly unique and specific to that
- 2:57particular client. It's just that there's enough
- 3:00people in the world that some people might be able to resonate
- 3:03with the same needs and issues of that original client.
- 3:07So it might be useful. But equally, if there are some
- 3:09suggestions that aren't quite right for you, just discard any
- 3:12that aren't perfect. Hone into the ones that are
- 3:14useful. And if you like the idea of a
- 3:17bespoke session calibrated and customized specifically to you,
- 3:22check out the description. There's lots of links in there,
- 3:24and one of those links is to a free consultation call to
- 3:28explore working with me. Outside of that, I would
- 3:31encourage you to see if this session is beneficial.
- 3:34It may be, in which case find a quiet, comfortable place, the
- 3:38kind of lace where you won't be distracted or disturbed.
- 3:41Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 4:22you breathe in, feel yourself easing into that rhythm of
- 4:28relaxation. Breathing in, resourceful
- 4:33relaxation on the inward breath, and as you exhale, feeling a
- 4:41wonderful sense of release, as if any tension, stress, or
- 4:47worries are starting to leave your body.
- 4:52As you breathe out, breathing in for longer and exhaling for
- 5:03longer, each breath takes you deeper and deeper.
- 5:14Relaxed. That's it.
- 5:18Eyelids feeling heavier and jaw feeling looser.
- 5:22Neck and shoulders start to relax.
- 5:26That's it. A wonderful feeling of drifting
- 5:34through space, through time, back to a time of your
- 5:41ancestors. Allow your physical body to stay
- 5:46where it is and just imagine floating back many generations
- 5:59to the rolling hills of Cornwall.
- 6:07A time of villages and tribes, of warriors and gardeners.
- 6:22I want you to imagine floating all the way back.
- 6:28To an. Ancient stone circle, and I want
- 6:34you to see a ritual, a ritual of healing and a ritual of release.
- 6:45But whoever is in the middle of the stone circle gets to release
- 6:51any anger or trauma of their past.
- 6:58I want you to imagine standing in the middle of that circle and
- 7:03maybe there's chanting or singing or dancing or rhythms,
- 7:11and imagine all of your ancestors around the stone
- 7:16circle and you're in the middle. And all of their intention is
- 7:22for you to release or release the trauma and anger.
- 7:31And whether it's justified or not, there is no benefit to
- 7:37keeping it within you. This ritual enables you to
- 7:44retain the wisdom, retain the life lessons, but to lose the
- 7:51triggers, giving you wisdom and resilience rather than being
- 8:01vulnerable to unconscious triggers.
- 8:07As the chanting and rhythms continue, feel that trauma, that
- 8:14anger leaving your body. Maybe it's leaving through your
- 8:20outward breath. Maybe it feels that it's just
- 8:24dissolving or dissipating within.
- 8:28Maybe you notice a lightness, a different frequency.
- 8:35Just allow it to continue with every breath.
- 8:39That's it. I want you to get a sense this
- 8:47is the journey of the warrior because you can have a strong,
- 8:57powerful individual, but if they are easily provoked, they can be
- 9:06manipulated by their enemies. The true warrior understands
- 9:15these games. They can see the attempt to
- 9:22provoke or trigger and decide if a response is worthwhile.
- 9:32And if a response is worthwhile, then that's not being triggered,
- 9:38that's being decisive, that's being strategic, that's being
- 9:44powerful. I want you to get a feeling of a
- 9:52change taking place, losing the trauma and losing the anger.
- 10:00But trauma gives you wisdom and losing the anger, it gives you
- 10:07discernment. I want you to feel that you are
- 10:12going to be discerning with how and when you utilize your
- 10:18emotions. If someone can make you feel a
- 10:23certain way, that's not discernment, that's weakness.
- 10:31But if you decide when you feel a certain way, that's power,
- 10:36strength and discernment. Allow thee chanting the rhythms
- 10:45to continue and notice. Notice your mind taking you,
- 10:57taking you to a garden within your imagination.
- 11:03And I want you to imagine there is two people in the garden, a
- 11:12warrior and a gardener. I want you to get a sand that
- 11:20both can be peaceful and relaxed in the garden.
- 11:27But if there's a war, the warrior has the advantage
- 11:35because the gardener is weak. A wise person once said it's
- 11:46better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.
- 11:56And I want you to feel that your life is your garden and that you
- 12:04are a warrior. But a warrior is not easily
- 12:09triggered or provoked a wire. A warrior is capable and
- 12:18discerning as to when they use their strength.
- 12:23That's it. Connect without feeling what is
- 12:31relaxing, The ritual continuing. That's it.
- 12:36Deeper and deeper, Relaxed now. And now imagine a thought within
- 12:46a thought to imagine yourself driving.
- 12:50Calm, steady, comfortable. And behind you, someone begins
- 12:58to drive just a little too close.
- 13:03And I want you to get a feeling that in the past that may have
- 13:08created tension, but I want you to see it with a different lens
- 13:14now. A new truth emerges.
- 13:21This is low importance. This is not worthy of your
- 13:28emotional energy, not worth even a single spike of adrenaline,
- 13:38because this is not a threat, this isn't danger, and this may
- 13:46not be about you at all. And I want you to get a feeling
- 14:15that they are placing an energy around you and your vehicle.
- 14:22Not bright, not dramatic, just a subtle, powerful protective
- 14:27field. A guardian presence, guardian
- 14:33Angel force field, and it surrounds your car like a soft
- 14:39glowing force field or barrier, like a bubble.
- 14:47And this field keeps you safe, keeps you centered, helps make
- 14:53you immune to emotional triggers.
- 14:57It filters out other people's anger or provocation and
- 15:03prevents their behaviour from affecting your mind or body.
- 15:16If you place some rotten fruit in a fruit bowl, it starts to
- 15:23rot all of the other fruit. Consider these people trying to
- 15:30get too close, almost having rotten energy and your barrier
- 15:39keeps you safe. But if you respond, it means
- 15:46they're infecting you. But only if you have a reaction.
- 15:56So I want you to feel that you are inside this field whenever
- 15:59you drive and even around you personally whenever you're in
- 16:05queues and you are protected and supported.
- 16:10I want you to feel protected and defended that anyone else's
- 16:21presence don't become yours. Their impatient never enters
- 16:26yours and their stress or anger stays with them because if you
- 16:34don't accept it, then it does remain with them.
- 16:42As you imagine yourself in a car, I want you to think of it
- 16:48as a fun game. And let's call this game rage
- 16:57baiting. Then some drivers are careless
- 17:03or impatient or simply unaware, and they send out emotional
- 17:10hooks, invitations to react, to bite, to take the bait.
- 17:21But here's the rule of this little game.
- 17:25If you react, then you lose. And if you stay calm, then you
- 17:31win. And the moment you refuse to
- 17:36take the bait or perceive that you're being baited, something
- 17:43powerful happens. All of that rage or carelessness
- 17:49stays with them, and none of it becomes yours.
- 17:55It bounces off and falls away like a letter sent to the wrong
- 18:01address. It gets returned to the sender,
- 18:08but your emotional world stays clean, undisturbed, untouched.
- 18:16I want you to feel like the powerful warrior that is trying
- 18:21to be provoked but doesn't take the bait to.
- 18:28Imagine that glowing force field around your car.
- 18:33Imagine that warrior mentality all the way from your ancestors
- 18:40and imagine someone doing everything they can to bait you.
- 18:46Tailgating, honking their horn, cutting you up or getting too
- 18:51close, or chasing. And each time feel yourself
- 18:55getting more composed, perhaps even smiling.
- 19:01You're not going to take the bait.
- 19:05You're not going to let them win.
- 19:09And if you can feel empowered in the same situations that used to
- 19:12trigger you, let me know if I'm nodding your head.
- 19:19That's it. And the more you practice, the
- 19:24more your inner warrior becomes stronger.
- 19:30And from now on, whenever you notice someone following too
- 19:33closely or someone entering your personal space, I wonder if your
- 19:40mind will automatically shift into one of these states.
- 19:48Calm indifference. The belief that this isn't
- 19:53important at all. Game mode, if I don't react,
- 19:59then I win. Or perhaps protected awareness.
- 20:06I am safe, I am protected, they can't affect me.
- 20:12And whatever happens, you are more empowered.
- 20:21You stay centered, you stay safe.
- 20:26You feel mentally and psychologically stronger.
- 20:32You are training your warrior. Any situations seem to shrink in
- 20:38significance. From a trigger to just a non
- 20:42event, from a threat to just background noise.
- 20:52You are safe and secure when driving.
- 20:56Tailgaters no longer trigger you.
- 21:01These events are low importance and not worth a reaction.
- 21:09You win when you don't take the bait, and all of their stress or
- 21:16impatience or rage belongs to them, never to you.
- 21:23You are surrounded by a protective force field of calm
- 21:28and you get to drive with clarity, confidence and
- 21:32emotional neutrality. And these ideas will become
- 21:38automatic, effortless, hard wired.
- 21:45And then imagine floating back in the garden and then floating
- 21:51back from the garden into the stone circle.
- 21:55And just get a feeling that now any remnants of trauma or anger
- 22:03have left you and your ancestors.
- 22:08Celebrate your transformation. You have evolved, you have
- 22:15grown, you have elevated to the next natural level in your
- 22:23journey. Celebrate with them, feel the
- 22:28power, feel the strength, and get a deep sense that you're
- 22:35looking forward now to these historical triggers so that you
- 22:42can activate and demonstrate this new level of thinking,
- 22:51feeling and being. Time now to float back to your
- 22:59present. Body so take.
- 23:02A deep breath in through your nose and out through your nose.
- 23:09Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes.
- 23:12Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 23:17from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 23:21Starting to count 123 Waking up 456.
- 23:28More alert 7-8 Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910.
- 23:34Wide awake, Wide awake. Wide awake.
