- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I begin?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 3: Say?
- 0:02Speaker 4: What are you trying to do beyond the usual controversial talking.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to one.
- 0:12Speaker 2: To prepare yourself.
- 0:14Speaker 5: Okay for Craig, okay.
- 0:17Speaker 6: Preparing my desp here.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Particulate stimulated writing.
- 0:23Speaker 6: There there you go back, you start becoming a geen.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Is the Craigncullen Show.
- 0:33Speaker 7: Jesus, you know talking.
- 0:36Speaker 3: This station as well, the ultimate power in the universe.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Your host, he's a good man. That's right.
- 0:43Speaker 8: It is, in fact, the Craig Collins Show. I'm the guy,
- 0:46Speaker 8: Craig Collins, thrilled to be with you. That is producer
- 0:49Speaker 8: Phil hanging out in the studio, Lots and lots of
- 0:52Speaker 8: things to get to, lots of news to talk about,
- 0:55Speaker 8: and yet part of me wants to ask the audience
- 0:58Speaker 8: for a little bit of feedback. Producer Phil can do
- 1:01Speaker 8: this too if he wants. If you go to KSV
- 1:03Speaker 8: radio dot com and click on our listen now button
- 1:06Speaker 8: for anybody that's listening and can hear this show, something
- 1:10Speaker 8: should have changed. You should still be able to listen
- 1:12Speaker 8: to the station at that place, but it's it's gonna
- 1:15Speaker 8: be different than it was before. And if you're someone
- 1:17Speaker 8: that like just did this, or you're currently doing this.
- 1:20Speaker 8: You might have to delete your cookies and refresh your
- 1:24Speaker 8: your thing, your web browser. But Dan, hopefully you see
- 1:27Speaker 8: something a little bit nicer. And Phil, I will tell
- 1:30Speaker 8: you this.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I did that. The thing that's now did you see it?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Did you just check it out? Is it working?
- 1:35Speaker 8: And it goes to a different page and you see
- 1:36Speaker 8: like the logo he just you can talk into the microphone.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I can see it for sure.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Okay, and you like it better?
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I did it. I did it.
- 1:46Speaker 8: I'm breaking some stuff and changing some stuff in our website,
- 1:50Speaker 8: and so I'd love other listeners to give feedback because
- 1:53Speaker 8: you know what's funny about that, dude, you have a
- 1:56Speaker 8: conversation with somebody and they're like, we don't have anybody
- 1:59Speaker 8: internally that knows had to do this. And then I'm
- 2:01Speaker 8: the dumb one who puts my hand up and go,
- 2:03Speaker 8: I know how to do that, And then like do
- 2:05Speaker 8: you want to try? And I go, yeah, I want
- 2:07Speaker 8: to try, And then I do stuff and then I
- 2:09Speaker 8: change things. I'm a little worried it's going to impact
- 2:13Speaker 8: what audio I play on the radio. Is my computer
- 2:16Speaker 8: and everything up on the board too, and it's not
- 2:18Speaker 8: playing anything.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Okay, that's good, that's a good site.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah, your computer every day.
- 2:23Speaker 8: I'm going to try to play a thing in just
- 2:25Speaker 8: a second, and hopefully this works too, because I might
- 2:27Speaker 8: have broke stuff for me but not for you.
- 2:29Speaker 1: But all right, thank you, Phil, and thank you for
- 2:31Speaker 1: the feedback.
- 2:31Speaker 8: But if you want to call into the radio station,
- 2:34Speaker 8: if you go to our website ksvradio dot com, most
- 2:36Speaker 8: of the site looks the same as it did before,
- 2:39Speaker 8: and we're working on that. That site is probably going
- 2:42Speaker 8: to get a big up update or refresh.
- 2:44Speaker 1: At some point.
- 2:44Speaker 8: But the listen now button in the top right corner,
- 2:47Speaker 8: it should function differently and you.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Should still be able to hear the radio station.
- 2:51Speaker 8: And if you can't hear it, it's a different problem
- 2:55Speaker 8: that I can fix, and I don't know, but anyway,
- 2:57Speaker 8: let's do this. You don't care about the radio webs
- 3:00Speaker 8: as much as I do, or maybe you do, which
- 3:01Speaker 8: would be great, But I want to play this audio.
- 3:04Speaker 1: This is Robert F.
- 3:05Speaker 8: Kennedy Junior, just being absolutely incredible in an interview with
- 3:11Speaker 8: Dana Bash where the people on the side of the
- 3:14Speaker 8: media microphones, the people who yell all the conspiracy theory
- 3:19Speaker 8: nonsense that they don't admit is conspiracy theory nonsense on
- 3:22Speaker 8: their side of the discussion. Yes, mainstream media are conspiracy
- 3:26Speaker 8: theorists just like everybody.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Else, just different kinds of them. Robert F.
- 3:31Speaker 8: Kennedy Junior torched her in what she says that she
- 3:35Speaker 8: doesn't understand, like she just parrots out and chirps back.
- 3:39Speaker 8: What's some expert that she might have interviewed a few
- 3:41Speaker 8: weeks ago?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Told her?
- 3:42Speaker 8: And if that expert differs from other ones, who cares?
- 3:46Speaker 8: If you're Dana Bash, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
- 3:48Speaker 1: He cares. I thought this was incredible back and forth.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 3:53Speaker 9: But I also don't want to use this interview to
- 3:57Speaker 9: allow you to say things that aren't entirely true.
- 4:00Speaker 3: You're talking about therapeutics.
- 4:02Speaker 9: Fine, it is also factually true that the COVID vaccine worked.
- 4:07Speaker 9: The COVID vaccine prevented deaths. There is data upon data
- 4:11Speaker 9: upon data. Let's talk about the measles please, because this
- 4:14Speaker 9: is something that is happenings as we speak.
- 4:17Speaker 7: The cases in the US protected children.
- 4:22Speaker 9: I think that what I have talked to scientists and
- 4:25Speaker 9: doctors about it.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Just give me look Can you show me one study?
- 4:29Speaker 3: Yes, I can.
- 4:30Speaker 7: It shows that, I.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Can children were protected by the COVID vaccine.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I can tell you that there are.
- 4:36Speaker 6: More good than harm to children. Can you show me
- 4:39Speaker 6: one study.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That shows that.
- 4:40Speaker 9: No, tell you that when it comes to the vaccine,
- 4:44Speaker 9: there have been studies that show that because of vaccine
- 4:47Speaker 9: disinformation disinformation, there could have been one hundred to two
- 4:52Speaker 9: hundred thousand lives in the US saved.
- 4:55Speaker 8: Okay, I want to stop it right there, because it's
- 4:56Speaker 8: about to get amazing, and the part that I like
- 4:58Speaker 8: is still coming. But I need to play this part
- 5:00Speaker 8: because I am so fascinated at the idea that mainstream media,
- 5:06Speaker 8: when challenged like this by Robert F. Kennedy Junior, would
- 5:09Speaker 8: give an answer that's yes, I can show you those
- 5:11Speaker 8: studies specific to the thing you're saying that kids benefited
- 5:14Speaker 8: and didn't benefit from the COVID vaccine. And then when
- 5:18Speaker 8: she actually answers the question, totally pivots because there are
- 5:20Speaker 8: no studies that say that kids did not benefit from
- 5:23Speaker 8: getting the vaccine. Most young people, and I don't mean
- 5:27Speaker 8: like fifteen year olds, I mean twenty thirty, most people
- 5:31Speaker 8: of a lot of those age groups didn't benefit from
- 5:35Speaker 8: getting the vaccine. Dana Bash is not telling you that
- 5:38Speaker 8: she's referencing a study that she cares about.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Obviously that Robert F. Kennedy Junior doesn't.
- 5:43Speaker 8: That claims something different for the entirety of the population,
- 5:47Speaker 8: not a specific group. And I don't want to argue
- 5:49Speaker 8: the minutia of if she's right about any part of this,
- 5:53Speaker 8: because I would side with a lot of people who
- 5:54Speaker 8: said she's not. But it's amazing to watch her deflect
- 5:57Speaker 8: the way she did. And again, as I said, it's
- 6:00Speaker 8: about to get amazing.
- 6:01Speaker 9: Because people didn't get the vaccine. That's why I'm not
- 6:04Speaker 9: saying that it entirely you are saying.
- 6:07Speaker 7: You are saying something that you cannot show them a.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Single I am not saying nonsense.
- 6:12Speaker 9: I am talking with somebody told you, excuse me and.
- 6:16Speaker 7: Let me what study.
- 6:19Speaker 9: No, what studies are you're just talking about. You're talking
- 6:21Speaker 9: about studies that actually don't exist. I want to talk about.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Amazing study the study.
- 6:30Speaker 3: This is not productive. I am not here to defend
- 6:33Speaker 3: all of the problem.
- 6:36Speaker 7: You can't support it. And then what I call you,
- 6:39Speaker 7: you're telling me I'm arguing.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Okay, do you want to talk about.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Well, it's incredible.
- 6:43Speaker 8: It's incredible to listen to him do this, to say
- 6:45Speaker 8: to her that, like, show me the study, show me
- 6:47Speaker 8: the study, and eventually get to the point where she says,
- 6:50Speaker 8: this is not productive, this is not actually important, This
- 6:53Speaker 8: isn't the kind of thing that we need to pay
- 6:56Speaker 8: attention to, because this absolutely is. That's what happens all
- 7:01Speaker 8: the time for so many media outlets. I've worked with
- 7:04Speaker 8: people not at this station but other places who do
- 7:08Speaker 8: an interview with someone who's an expert on any topic.
- 7:11Speaker 8: It can be medical, like they're talking about here, it
- 7:13Speaker 8: can be literally anything, and then at the end of
- 7:16Speaker 8: all of it, they'll walk away and this person who
- 7:18Speaker 8: did the interview thinks they're an expert. And I did
- 7:20Speaker 8: that years ago, when the amount of people who could
- 7:23Speaker 8: just turn on the Google machine and look up whatever
- 7:25Speaker 8: they wanted to look up is totally different too now
- 7:29Speaker 8: than before. So this was a version of the arrogance
- 7:34Speaker 8: of media itself. And there's so many people that work
- 7:38Speaker 8: in mainstream mostly I think television media, who walk around
- 7:42Speaker 8: like they are the news, the same way that doctor
- 7:44Speaker 8: Fauci walked around, walked around like I am science, and
- 7:48Speaker 8: they're obviously not. They obviously have a tremendous amount of
- 7:52Speaker 8: problems and flaws and reasons that the things they say
- 7:56Speaker 8: are incredibly biased and not accurate and all that other crap.
- 7:59Speaker 8: But it's it's just amazing to watch this type of
- 8:03Speaker 8: thing happen because finally someone says, who is armed with
- 8:08Speaker 8: I think more than enough information to actually do it,
- 8:12Speaker 8: that you're just feeding us, you know what, and you
- 8:15Speaker 8: just keep feeding it no matter how many times we
- 8:17Speaker 8: tell you we'd rather have something that's actually true. You
- 8:21Speaker 8: don't care. He went on to talk about Robert F.
- 8:22Speaker 8: Kennedy or excuse me, Anthony Fauci too. I thought that
- 8:25Speaker 8: was interesting.
- 8:26Speaker 6: Let me tell you because actually Anthony Fauci and his
- 8:28Speaker 6: diaries answer some question about.
- 8:31Speaker 7: Why we're having the measles an outbreak right now.
- 8:34Speaker 6: The reason we're having amasals outbreak because of the COVID lockdowns,
- 8:37Speaker 6: because people didn't like children during that period, didn't get faccinated.
- 8:43Speaker 6: And in his diaries he says this is going to
- 8:46Speaker 6: cause massive outbreaks and measles and more children. He says,
- 8:50Speaker 6: this are gonna let me finish. Could you could accuse
- 8:53Speaker 6: me of something.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I didn't ask you a question?
- 8:56Speaker 1: Ah?
- 8:58Speaker 7: He says his diaries.
- 9:00Speaker 6: More children are gonna die from measles because of these
- 9:03Speaker 6: lockdowns then COVID.
- 9:05Speaker 7: So if you want to know, and.
- 9:07Speaker 6: That age group that should have got the MMR when
- 9:10Speaker 6: they're eighteen months and didn't get it, they're the ones
- 9:13Speaker 6: being infected the people in this country. And we have
- 9:17Speaker 6: stopped the outbreaks at record speed in South Carolina and Texas,
- 9:21Speaker 6: in Utah, in Virginia. We've done better than any country
- 9:24Speaker 6: in the world. I dispatch immediately the EPANDAMIC intelligence services
- 9:29Speaker 6: to those states. I get on the phone with the
- 9:31Speaker 6: governor and we stopped from it and they're trying to
- 9:32Speaker 6: Nobody else has been able to do that.
- 9:34Speaker 5: You have a book.
- 9:35Speaker 1: We are awesome, is what he says at the end
- 9:37Speaker 1: of that.
- 9:37Speaker 8: But I love so much every single time he looks
- 9:41Speaker 8: at her, like in her face, and he's not just
- 9:44Speaker 8: talking to Dana Bash like I know he is, but
- 9:46Speaker 8: in my mind, he's talking to so much media in
- 9:49Speaker 8: so many places and saying, you have no idea what
- 9:53Speaker 8: the hell you're talking about, and you go on your platform,
- 9:57Speaker 8: you go on television, and you act like your main
- 10:00Speaker 8: stream news media.
- 10:00Speaker 1: It's even a worse.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Sin in the world of CNN, because they don't pretend
- 10:05Speaker 8: to be pundits. They don't pretend to be giving you opinion.
- 10:08Speaker 8: They pretend that they're actually or they don't admit that
- 10:11Speaker 8: they're they're giving you opinion.
- 10:12Speaker 1: They pretend that they're giving you just news. And it's crazy.
- 10:16Speaker 8: But I got to tell you somebody, I think a
- 10:19Speaker 8: listener sent me a piece of that audio and I
- 10:23Speaker 8: just couldn't help but watch so much of the interview
- 10:26Speaker 8: because it was just it was so good, and I
- 10:29Speaker 8: think it's something we absolutely need. And actually, I'll say
- 10:33Speaker 8: this a different way in all honesty, and it's just
- 10:37Speaker 8: a completely different take on the same a basic concept
- 10:40Speaker 8: or topic. I think people, not just news media kind
- 10:46Speaker 8: of need to be challenged more like a lot of people,
- 10:49Speaker 8: not all the people. Probably there's some people you do
- 10:51Speaker 8: not want to challenge, but by and large, I think
- 10:54Speaker 8: a lot of people and not like me or you,
- 10:56Speaker 8: but somebody needs to challenge some of the thoughts they
- 11:00Speaker 8: have because I think some of us in this society
- 11:03Speaker 8: are getting more and more used to not being challenged
- 11:06Speaker 8: and more and more used to expecting to not be challenged,
- 11:10Speaker 8: and even just the simple version of I don't know
- 11:12Speaker 8: if that's right. Already feels like it's unique to some
- 11:16Speaker 8: of the relationships that exist in our society, and we
- 11:20Speaker 8: just need more of this. We need so much more
- 11:22Speaker 8: of especially from people in positions like Robert of Kennedy
- 11:27Speaker 8: Junior is the HHS Secretary. But just in general, you
- 11:30Speaker 8: need people to sit down and be like, I'm not
- 11:32Speaker 8: gonna be friendly. I'm not gonna be mean. I have
- 11:34Speaker 8: no interest of being combative for the sake of fighting.
- 11:37Speaker 8: But I don't need to be friendly. I need to
- 11:39Speaker 8: be someone who says what I think, and you say
- 11:42Speaker 8: what you think, and then at the end of the
- 11:44Speaker 8: day we walk away accepting the idea that we might
- 11:47Speaker 8: think totally different stuff. And actually, I'll go one step
- 11:51Speaker 8: further in this thought. There are times that I've done
- 11:54Speaker 8: this on other radio stations with co hosts that kind
- 11:58Speaker 8: of didn't expect it. Like they're sitting and they're saying
- 12:00Speaker 8: something and I'm not mean. I usually just respond with, yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 8: I don't agree with that. I think something different. And
- 12:06Speaker 8: even in this environment, it seems like jarring for someone
- 12:09Speaker 8: to be like, wait, you what you don't agree you?
- 12:12Speaker 8: And like Noonon and I the Amigos do this all
- 12:15Speaker 8: the time they show us that there's conversations that people
- 12:19Speaker 8: have different opinions on. And what I love about it
- 12:22Speaker 8: is when you walk away and kind of feel like
- 12:24Speaker 8: you wan it makes the other person mad, and it
- 12:26Speaker 8: really shouldn't because maybe if you actually made a good
- 12:30Speaker 8: point that they couldn't refute. What they should do with
- 12:32Speaker 8: that information is except that maybe they need to think
- 12:35Speaker 8: about something more like if if you and I were
- 12:37Speaker 8: to argue, I apologize for doing this.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I just I loved this interview so much with Robert F.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Kennedy Junior.
- 12:43Speaker 8: If you and I were to argue, and at the
- 12:45Speaker 8: end of the argument I made a point that you
- 12:47Speaker 8: couldn't object to whoever you are out there, if you
- 12:50Speaker 8: said to yourself, man, I don't have any response to that.
- 12:54Speaker 8: What that moment should say, no matter which side it's on,
- 12:57Speaker 8: if you did it to me or I did it
- 12:58Speaker 8: to you, that may be just maybe the other person
- 13:02Speaker 8: is in fact right and my opinion is wrong. And
- 13:05Speaker 8: I can't tell you the amount of people I hear
- 13:07Speaker 8: say that you can't change anybody's mind anymore. I think
- 13:10Speaker 8: that's part of the reason why, is that losing makes
- 13:13Speaker 8: somebody mad. In an argument as opposed to make somebody think, well,
- 13:18Speaker 8: maybe my mind has just been expanded a little bit.
- 13:20Speaker 1: All right, we're going to take our first break.
- 13:22Speaker 8: I think everything's working on the internet on the show,
- 13:25Speaker 8: I think everything, Yet Phil keeps not in his.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Head yetes nothing's breaking. That's good. It wouldn't be your fault.
- 13:31Speaker 8: By the way, I'm doing a lot of things with
- 13:33Speaker 8: a laptop that I shouldn't.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Do, and that sounds terrible out of context. Quick break.
- 13:37Speaker 1: A lot coming up.
- 13:38Speaker 7: Your job that is telling the truth.
- 13:40Speaker 9: I see my job as telling the truth, and the
- 13:43Speaker 9: truth is that there is study after study after study.
- 13:48Speaker 3: It's one of the most study things out there. And
- 13:50Speaker 3: science and it is different.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I'm actually read science.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Don't.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You don't want to hear it?
- 14:00Speaker 3: So I'm not debating this view.
- 14:02Speaker 7: Of course, you want no, because.
- 14:04Speaker 6: How to do repeat things that people told you and
- 14:07Speaker 6: say trust the experts.
- 14:09Speaker 7: That's what you turned during COVID.
- 14:11Speaker 1: That's so good.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Now we know that anthy Faunci, who was the expert,
- 14:14Speaker 6: was lying about everything about massive about the social distancing,
- 14:18Speaker 6: about we do natural immunity, about the transmission from the vaccine,
- 14:23Speaker 6: about the source of COVID. He was lying, and you
- 14:26Speaker 6: were punishing people for not trusting the experts, and now
- 14:30Speaker 6: you're rolling out the experts again to talk about something
- 14:34Speaker 6: that you have no personal knowledge of.
- 14:36Speaker 8: How many times do you trust the experts, specific ones
- 14:39Speaker 8: if you're a CNN by the way, Creig Collins show
- 14:42Speaker 8: KSV seven hundred am, how many times do you trust
- 14:45Speaker 8: him before they're wrong enough times to be like, all right,
- 14:48Speaker 8: we need different experts, or maybe there are no experts
- 14:51Speaker 8: on a certain amount of topics, because I know a
- 14:53Speaker 8: lot of people believe. But so good, I'm going to
- 14:55Speaker 8: move on from it now. But I loved I love
- 14:58Speaker 8: that interview. Let's play Trump talking about Iran again. He
- 15:03Speaker 8: talked about how Iran is begging to end the conflict
- 15:06Speaker 8: as the United States is contemplating more serious attacks again,
- 15:10Speaker 8: and he says how Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.
- 15:14Speaker 8: I will say very simplistically, as we're now in August,
- 15:18Speaker 8: and I definitely hoped that this conflict would have been
- 15:21Speaker 8: over within weeks of when it started. And a lot
- 15:25Speaker 8: of people who were paying very close attention to the
- 15:27Speaker 8: Middle East for a very long time knew that Iran
- 15:31Speaker 8: was not trustworthy, that whatever they say, they're not going
- 15:34Speaker 8: to do it kind of thing. My belief, and I
- 15:37Speaker 8: think this was the president's too, is that the level
- 15:40Speaker 8: of strength we were going to show was going to
- 15:42Speaker 8: convince them to behave differently, and it didn't, and we
- 15:46Speaker 8: showed a lot of strength. I don't know that there's
- 15:48Speaker 8: a lot of strength left to show outside of maybe
- 15:51Speaker 8: one very big.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Attack which was being contemplated.
- 15:56Speaker 8: But I want to play some audio or the president,
- 15:58Speaker 8: and then I want to digest that top further. I
- 16:00Speaker 8: continue to talk about it, I continue to not forget
- 16:04Speaker 8: that we're fighting Iran and that gas prices are what
- 16:07Speaker 8: they are, which makes people mad and makes a lot
- 16:10Speaker 8: of people think that the midterm elections will not go
- 16:12Speaker 8: the way that Republicans would want them to go, even
- 16:15Speaker 8: though you're literally running against communists at this point. But nonetheless,
- 16:19Speaker 8: I'd love to play this first and then talk about
- 16:21Speaker 8: a topic that some might feel you don't think about
- 16:25Speaker 8: any more day to day when he probably steal should
- 16:28Speaker 8: but here we go.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Said anything.
- 16:33Speaker 10: Would you see would you see how it is we're
- 16:35Speaker 10: ready to go anytime we want. Would I rather make
- 16:38Speaker 10: a deal. I'm not looking to kill people because people die,
- 16:42Speaker 10: a lot of people dying, and we don't want that.
- 16:45Speaker 10: So they asked us around specifically, but the other three said,
- 16:50Speaker 10: we've really I asked him, so you're ready to the king,
- 16:53Speaker 10: I said the crown Prince, I said, what would you
- 16:57Speaker 10: rather do?
- 16:57Speaker 7: Would you rather have.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Us do this or not of this?
- 17:00Speaker 10: We would much prefer a deal as opposed to.
- 17:05Speaker 2: So you don't know where these attacks lead.
- 17:06Speaker 10: I mean, will they be flooded with people pouring into
- 17:10Speaker 10: their country and disaster. A lot of bad things can happen.
- 17:14Speaker 8: Yes, yeah, a lot of By the way, a lot
- 17:17Speaker 8: of bad things that impact the other countries in the
- 17:19Speaker 8: Middle East surrounding Iran is what he's saying there. But
- 17:23Speaker 8: at a certain point, you do have to make sure
- 17:25Speaker 8: that Iron can't just keep doing whatever the help wants.
- 17:27Speaker 8: And anybody that tries to say that the Obama deal
- 17:31Speaker 8: was working, I don't know how to say this nicer,
- 17:34Speaker 8: so I'm just gonna.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Say it, you're an idiot.
- 17:36Speaker 8: The reason you're an idiot is because you're completely disregarding
- 17:39Speaker 8: the idea that Iran was getting closer to a nuclear
- 17:41Speaker 8: weapon again, and I don't mean close in the sense
- 17:44Speaker 8: that if we didn't act when we did the next day,
- 17:47Speaker 8: they would have had an operational, you know, nuclear weapon
- 17:52Speaker 8: to attack us with. But they were much closer than
- 17:54Speaker 8: you wanted him to be, and much closer than the
- 17:57Speaker 8: Obama Deal said.
- 17:58Speaker 1: They were allowed to be.
- 17:59Speaker 8: So they were blazing that trail regardless of what we did.
- 18:04Speaker 8: And even if we bomb certain areas of Iran into
- 18:07Speaker 8: you know, rubble and cover it with tons and tons
- 18:10Speaker 8: of additional rubble, they can still keep trying. And so
- 18:13Speaker 8: eventually you want to show them that they really need
- 18:16Speaker 8: to stop trying. And that's what I thought we were doing.
- 18:19Speaker 8: And so I'll say this, because of the success with Venezuela,
- 18:23Speaker 8: which I say a lot on this radio show, I
- 18:25Speaker 8: did naively believe that we could get in and out
- 18:28Speaker 8: in Iran within weeks, and we can't, and we didn't.
- 18:32Speaker 8: And so you're at a position now where I still
- 18:35Speaker 8: think the fight is worth fighting. I still think the win,
- 18:38Speaker 8: however protracted, is, is.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Going to happen.
- 18:41Speaker 8: I'm just disappointed from a political standpoint that it might
- 18:44Speaker 8: impact some elections, but it shouldn't. The other thing that
- 18:49Speaker 8: I'll say about that, because like I think about that
- 18:51Speaker 8: a lot, is how ridiculous that actually is.
- 18:54Speaker 1: And here's what I mean, a lot of people.
- 18:57Speaker 8: Say that right now, the likelihood of Republicans losing elections
- 19:02Speaker 8: is because gas prices are too high. And I made
- 19:04Speaker 8: this reference a bit ago, and so I'll make it again,
- 19:07Speaker 8: even though Republicans are running against actual communist Marxists in
- 19:13Speaker 8: a bunch of races throughout the country and every data
- 19:17Speaker 8: point you could look at, whether you believe it or not,
- 19:19Speaker 8: and I'm always skeptical of polling says that the Democratic
- 19:23Speaker 8: Socialists of America are deeply unpopular within the United States,
- 19:27Speaker 8: and yet a lot of people might allow those politicians
- 19:31Speaker 8: to win elections in certain places because gas prices are
- 19:34Speaker 8: too high. If that's true, if that's all it takes
- 19:38Speaker 8: for any person with any message to win an election.
- 19:41Speaker 8: When you're the opposing side of the political aisle, we
- 19:44Speaker 8: have a tremendous problem, which I think a lot of
- 19:46Speaker 8: us think we do have in our country, because the
- 19:50Speaker 8: next time the Democrats screw up, and just like when
- 19:54Speaker 8: Biden was in office, gas prices become ridiculously expensive. I
- 19:57Speaker 8: could run on a platform or anything, and as long
- 20:00Speaker 8: as I say I'm the opposing side, I'm supposed to
- 20:02Speaker 8: believe that I have a shot at winning, which is
- 20:05Speaker 8: again horrible for our country, and honestly, I think a
- 20:09Speaker 8: lot of the people who are most likely to allow
- 20:12Speaker 8: for someone with crazy, radical ideas to win a political
- 20:16Speaker 8: race in the next couple months, they're someone who's younger
- 20:20Speaker 8: and not really thinking about or even aware of the
- 20:23Speaker 8: history of how that goes incredibly bad for all of us,
- 20:27Speaker 8: because every poll I've also looked at seems to overwhelmingly
- 20:30Speaker 8: say that people of certain ages are still a thousand
- 20:34Speaker 8: percent voting or a very very high percentage of voting
- 20:38Speaker 8: the same way they voted before.
- 20:40Speaker 1: All right, let me play this audio.
- 20:42Speaker 8: This is a simple stat about Obamacare, because again, if
- 20:48Speaker 8: you want to pretend that Democrats do great things when
- 20:51Speaker 8: they're in office and Republicans do bad things, it's not
- 20:54Speaker 8: so hard to find stuff where the problem and the
- 20:57Speaker 8: decision did hurt us and is still hurting us.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Nonprofit Health Policy Research Group finds at nine zero point
- 21:04Speaker 4: two million adults, that's nearly half of those enrolled in
- 21:07Speaker 4: Obamacare Medicaid expansion program do not even meet the federal
- 21:11Speaker 4: requirements to qualify. How did this happen and how do
- 21:14Speaker 4: we know? Conor Hansen Live on Capitol Hill with more, Hi, Connor,
- 21:17Speaker 4: good morning, Thank gunnor.
- 21:18Speaker 11: Hi Dana, good morning. Well, the study says some of
- 21:21Speaker 11: those people actually make too much money to qualify for
- 21:25Speaker 11: this Medicaid expansion, and others are getting these benefits even
- 21:29Speaker 11: though they're here in the country illegally. Now, this study
- 21:33Speaker 11: I put together by the Paragon Health Institute, which is
- 21:36Speaker 11: run by a former advisor to President Trump. He's a
- 21:39Speaker 11: legend widespread fraud here, he says more than nine.
- 21:42Speaker 8: Wait, let me get this straight. I just make sure
- 21:44Speaker 8: that I understand this thing. That's very difficult for a
- 21:47Speaker 8: whole lot of us to understand, Like it's a challenging topic.
- 21:50Speaker 8: The government took over something, something that they then funneled
- 21:54Speaker 8: a ton of money, our money into, and fraud happened
- 21:59Speaker 8: a greater degree. You have fraud than if a private
- 22:01Speaker 8: organization was in charge of a thing. How dare you
- 22:04Speaker 8: say that that's true? How dare anybody pretend that that's accurate.
- 22:08Speaker 8: That's not how everything and anything within the government happens
- 22:12Speaker 8: and exists.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Oh right, no, it is.
- 22:14Speaker 8: That's how every single thing goes in the world of
- 22:17Speaker 8: the government. It's crazy, And honestly, what's amusing to me
- 22:22Speaker 8: is that we can't seem as a full society to
- 22:26Speaker 8: learn these lessons like this is abused, this is broken,
- 22:29Speaker 8: And this is the place where I think the Trump administration,
- 22:32Speaker 8: the Republican politicians in power have absolutely had wins that
- 22:38Speaker 8: Americans are not paying attention to and should be paying
- 22:41Speaker 8: attention to, the amount of fraud uncovered, the amount of
- 22:44Speaker 8: money saved as at least future spending, if not some
- 22:48Speaker 8: of it clawed back.
- 22:49Speaker 1: And a bunch of people have been thrown in jail.
- 22:51Speaker 8: You and I never heard of those people, so their
- 22:53Speaker 8: names are not on the top of our minds, but
- 22:56Speaker 8: there have been people thrown in the hooscao. I mean,
- 22:59Speaker 8: even the people in Minnesota. What's amazing about that story?
- 23:03Speaker 8: Nick Shirley knocks on doors. The left gets mad, California
- 23:07Speaker 8: gets so mad it tries to make videos like the
- 23:10Speaker 8: one that Nick Shirley made illegal and independent journalism illegal
- 23:13Speaker 8: in California. And then you fast forward a few months
- 23:16Speaker 8: and most of the people that Nick Shirley simply outed
- 23:20Speaker 8: as likely participating in fraud actually did plead guilty to
- 23:24Speaker 8: fraud in court rooms. Like the people that he showed
- 23:27Speaker 8: us so all of us could see the problem, inevitably
- 23:31Speaker 8: were caught doing the thing that we all thought that
- 23:33Speaker 8: they were doing. And remember the left and mainstream media
- 23:36Speaker 8: rejected every part of that.
- 23:38Speaker 1: How dare you?
- 23:39Speaker 8: My favorite one was the Leering Center that said that
- 23:43Speaker 8: it's hours of operation were just later in the day,
- 23:46Speaker 8: so when you show up at like eleven twelve, two pm,
- 23:50Speaker 8: they were closed and nobody was there. That's that's there
- 23:52Speaker 8: and after school program is that was their thing their claim,
- 23:56Speaker 8: even though I guess they were one of the most
- 23:58Speaker 8: successful in the country with the of money they needed
- 24:01Speaker 8: and the amount of kids, they said that they were
- 24:03Speaker 8: taken care of only after hours. There's one more piece
- 24:07Speaker 8: of the Robert F. Kennedy junior interview that I do
- 24:10Speaker 8: want to play. It's specifically about COVID and they're arguing
- 24:14Speaker 8: about how scary of a time it was and how
- 24:17Speaker 8: much emotional fear mongering type of manipulation mainstream media played
- 24:21Speaker 8: on us. So I promise this is probably the last one.
- 24:25Speaker 8: Although I would highly recommend most people just go on
- 24:28Speaker 8: whatever platform YouTube you want to go on and watch
- 24:32Speaker 8: the whole freaking thing because it is great. I'm not
- 24:34Speaker 8: recommending you go watch CNN, but it was on CNN
- 24:37Speaker 8: and it was awesome.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Here we go, miss doing.
- 24:39Speaker 9: Okay, do you want to talk about you want to
- 24:41Speaker 9: talk about assertions that you can't support.
- 24:43Speaker 3: I'll get there in a second.
- 24:45Speaker 9: Let me just say for the record that I am
- 24:47Speaker 9: not saying that the entire way that the COVID reaction
- 24:51Speaker 9: was accurate. It was a scary time and people made absolutely.
- 24:56Speaker 7: Under scaring people.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Why are you saying that?
- 24:59Speaker 7: Because that there's the job of CNN.
- 25:01Speaker 9: Okay, how many people we were trying to be We
- 25:07Speaker 9: were listening to the leaders in this country, including the
- 25:11Speaker 9: president who had a daily press conference explaining what was
- 25:14Speaker 9: going on, and trying to listen I want to talk
- 25:17Speaker 9: to by the way.
- 25:18Speaker 8: By the way, they also at times silenced the president,
- 25:21Speaker 8: So when it was Trump that was in office, there
- 25:22Speaker 8: were times they cut away from interviews. Actually, you know what,
- 25:25Speaker 8: I'll make my point a different way, and this is
- 25:28Speaker 8: a fun way to make it.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I've actually loved that. This is a thing for years.
- 25:32Speaker 8: So there's a radio station I worked at a number
- 25:34Speaker 8: of years ago and I inevitably got canned from that place.
- 25:39Speaker 8: Other reason I got canned is that they were all
- 25:41Speaker 8: on the left and I was not. And my favorite
- 25:44Speaker 8: thing that happened right before the you know, the end
- 25:47Speaker 8: of and it Actually, I should.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Be more fair to myself. I didn't get fired.
- 25:52Speaker 8: They let my contract expire, which some places can do,
- 25:56Speaker 8: and essentially that means that we didn't fire you, but
- 25:58Speaker 8: we also did. Right before that happened, I remember there
- 26:01Speaker 8: was a day where there was a press conference of
- 26:04Speaker 8: the president, and then I was living in Illinois. Illinois
- 26:07Speaker 8: did its own local press conference, and I remember early
- 26:10Speaker 8: on during the presidential one, they told me to cut
- 26:12Speaker 8: away from it, like whoever the news director person was
- 26:15Speaker 8: that was in charge, I know who it was. They
- 26:17Speaker 8: sent me a message of like, cut away from this,
- 26:19Speaker 8: it's over. And I didn't do it because as the
- 26:21Speaker 8: president of the United States, I'm like, I'm not not
- 26:23Speaker 8: cut away yet, and I let it keep going for
- 26:25Speaker 8: a bit. And then the other press conference locally came
- 26:28Speaker 8: up and I played the whole thing of JB. Pritzker,
- 26:31Speaker 8: who the governor of Illinois at the time, which was
- 26:34Speaker 8: ridiculous and the complete opposite of everything Trump had just said.
- 26:38Speaker 8: And then he tried to go to Dick Durbin or
- 26:41Speaker 8: somebody else, another Illinois politician, and I cut away from it,
- 26:45Speaker 8: and I got the craziest email from the person who
- 26:50Speaker 8: told me what to do. In both situations, who wasn't
- 26:52Speaker 8: actually my boss, like it wasn't a superior of mine.
- 26:55Speaker 8: They were just trying to tell me that his news
- 26:57Speaker 8: director they had the right to decide how my show.
- 27:01Speaker 8: It was kind of funny. But anyway, the reason I'm
- 27:03Speaker 8: telling you who's ever listening this story is that in
- 27:07Speaker 8: the first instance where Trump where they told me to
- 27:10Speaker 8: cut away from the Trumpet press conference, it's because someone
- 27:14Speaker 8: else spoke. And I remember the email was when the
- 27:17Speaker 8: lead guys not speak and you can go away, and
- 27:19Speaker 8: Trump came back to the mic. If you remember those
- 27:21Speaker 8: press conferences, he would let other people talk, then he
- 27:24Speaker 8: would talk, and eventually he'd answer questions from the media.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Say, it's ridiculous to.
- 27:29Speaker 8: Be told to cut away from a presidential press conference
- 27:31Speaker 8: the minute he walked away from a microphone, because it
- 27:34Speaker 8: was like ten minutes into the thing.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And then the minute that JB. Kritcher was done, I
- 27:38Speaker 1: cut away, And.
- 27:39Speaker 8: I was so happy with that because my email back
- 27:42Speaker 8: was I thought, that's what we're supposed to do. I
- 27:44Speaker 8: got confused, I didn't know, and scathing so upset with me.
- 27:48Speaker 8: Sit down, have additional conversations with people.
- 27:51Speaker 1: But anyway.
- 27:52Speaker 8: The main point to this is this is how media
- 27:55Speaker 8: does this.
- 27:56Speaker 1: This is how they do it.
- 27:57Speaker 8: These places put people in positions to be in front
- 28:01Speaker 8: of microphones, in front of cameras that either definitively believe
- 28:06Speaker 8: things on a certain side of an argument and refuse
- 28:09Speaker 8: to take the other side into the equation at all,
- 28:12Speaker 8: or get intimidated by someone around them to do it
- 28:15Speaker 8: a certain way and a certain way only. And if
- 28:18Speaker 8: it's neither of those, if you don't believe it and
- 28:21Speaker 8: you can't be intimidated, you get fired. That's option number
- 28:25Speaker 8: three is eventually get canned. And part of the reason
- 28:28Speaker 8: I can even talk about this is I didn't sign
- 28:30Speaker 8: any goodbye agreement when they let the contract expire, and
- 28:33Speaker 8: didn't actually cause I could tell you the name of
- 28:35Speaker 8: the place I'm not going to, but I could I
- 28:38Speaker 8: could tell you the names of the people involved because
- 28:40Speaker 8: I never signed a goodbye a version of an agreement.
- 28:44Speaker 8: So that you know, it's something I'm allowed to publicly
- 28:46Speaker 8: talk about, which I love to this day because a
- 28:51Speaker 8: lot of times you will hear people in media or
- 28:53Speaker 8: other places tell you that these kind of shady things
- 28:56Speaker 8: go on behind the scenes, but until you experience it.
- 29:00Speaker 8: You don't actually know and until you're actually in that
- 29:03Speaker 8: moment where people are trying to force their opinion on you,
- 29:07Speaker 8: even after hiring you. Which is the funniest thing to
- 29:10Speaker 8: me too, is that there's a lot of places, not
- 29:13Speaker 8: in Texas, I don't feel, although maybe, but a lot
- 29:16Speaker 8: of places in a lot of other parts of this
- 29:17Speaker 8: country that claim their conservatives. But if they hire a
- 29:21Speaker 8: real conservative who says actual conservative things, they're not conservatives anymore.
- 29:26Speaker 8: A lot of those other places, like, wait a minute,
- 29:28Speaker 8: we don't want to say that, especially not in this
- 29:31Speaker 8: very left leaning place. All right, well, take our second break.
- 29:34Speaker 8: I will come back and I have a little bit
- 29:36Speaker 8: more news audio I want to play. And then after
- 29:38Speaker 8: the news audio, I'm in a very transparent mood today
- 29:41Speaker 8: for some reason. After we play the news audio, we'll
- 29:43Speaker 8: try to have some fun before we get out of here.
- 29:45Speaker 8: I know that Phil likes it when we talk about
- 29:47Speaker 8: silly stuff, so we'll do that too.
- 29:48Speaker 12: Three people killed, seven wounded in tonight. Here the dramatic
- 29:51Speaker 12: video showing armed bystanders opening fire trying to get the
- 29:55Speaker 12: gunmen to stop in Twin Falls, Idaho. Trevorol is there tonight.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Tonight, investigators are searching for the motive in this Idaho
- 30:04Speaker 5: mass shooting.
- 30:04Speaker 3: What happened?
- 30:07Speaker 5: Just three people killed, seven injured outside an in and
- 30:10Speaker 5: out restaurant in this crowded shopping center. Police have identified
- 30:15Speaker 5: the suspect as twenty four year old Chad Williams, seen
- 30:18Speaker 5: here dressed in black, armed with a long gun. Multiple
- 30:22Speaker 5: people down, hundreds of people running for cover as the
- 30:25Speaker 5: shots rang out. But investigators say two men, an off
- 30:28Speaker 5: duty state trooper and this man, five year old Jordan Salinas,
- 30:33Speaker 5: fired back.
- 30:34Speaker 13: I peeked around the right hand side of that sign,
- 30:37Speaker 13: closest to the road, and that's where I saw the
- 30:41Speaker 13: individual with his rifle pointed at the vehicle's authorities.
- 30:45Speaker 8: Belief this guy is amazing, by the way, Craig Collins
- 30:49Speaker 8: show KSV seven am the Voice of Taxes. That is
- 30:54Speaker 8: one of the better stories I've heard in a while,
- 30:57Speaker 8: even though there's a horrible component to it, because of
- 30:59Speaker 8: what the individual, the civilian, This is the way to
- 31:03Speaker 8: say it, good guy with a gun did to save
- 31:06Speaker 8: additional lives. Police talked about how great of a job
- 31:09Speaker 8: the guy did. The off duty officer who's there said,
- 31:13Speaker 8: how great of a job the guy did.
- 31:14Speaker 1: The guy's been training forever.
- 31:16Speaker 8: Apparently he's the caretaker to his brother who's in a wheelchair.
- 31:20Speaker 8: He said he was in the proximity of another mass
- 31:23Speaker 8: shooting at some point in his life and realized how
- 31:26Speaker 8: important it was to be capable of defending himself. And
- 31:29Speaker 8: the other most important part of this story, and again,
- 31:31Speaker 8: there's actually absolutely a horrific aspect to it that a
- 31:34Speaker 8: piece of crap, horrible person opened fire and innocent people
- 31:38Speaker 8: for no reason and took three lives and injured several
- 31:41Speaker 8: other people.
- 31:42Speaker 1: But the thing that's.
- 31:43Speaker 8: Amazing to me, that's incredible to me about this is
- 31:46Speaker 8: that the person who acted in that moment demonstrated what
- 31:50Speaker 8: we all know about these piece of crap shooters. The
- 31:53Speaker 8: minute fire is returned, they become cowards. They shoot themselves
- 31:59Speaker 8: self inflict did gunshot wound is what took the shooter's life.
- 32:02Speaker 8: They immediately run and do all the versions of you know,
- 32:07Speaker 8: I'm no longer a threat because someone's actually capable of
- 32:10Speaker 8: hurting me back. Kind of thing that we need and
- 32:13Speaker 8: that Texas absolutely understands better than most places. I want
- 32:17Speaker 8: to play more of this audio, and I want to
- 32:19Speaker 8: be very clear It's certainly still a tragedy. Horrible things happened,
- 32:23Speaker 8: people lost their lives, but the odds of it being
- 32:26Speaker 8: a much, much worse thing were tremendously changed.
- 32:30Speaker 1: By a civilian who knew how to use a fire.
- 32:33Speaker 5: If those heroic actions drove the shooter from the scene
- 32:36Speaker 5: and likely saved lives.
- 32:38Speaker 13: He seemed unusually comfortable aiming that rifle at those cars,
- 32:42Speaker 13: and then as soon as some rounds start coming at him,
- 32:45Speaker 13: everything changed immediately. All that you know, all that bravado
- 32:51Speaker 13: he had immediately crumbled.
- 32:53Speaker 5: This in and Out had opened just a week prior.
- 32:55Speaker 5: The company says one of their workers was killed while
- 32:58Speaker 5: caring for customers. Christopher Clunch was also killed, his sister
- 33:02Speaker 5: telling The New York Times he'd worked at a recovery
- 33:04Speaker 5: center helping people with addiction, and his partner said he'd
- 33:07Speaker 5: loved traveling, cooking in the outdoors. We also spoke to
- 33:10Speaker 5: Lindsey Tangy, who found several of the victims at the scene.
- 33:14Speaker 2: This is just not our community, like none of us
- 33:17Speaker 2: expected this, And David.
- 33:19Speaker 8: Dan, I'll stop it there. It can happen anywhere. The
- 33:23Speaker 8: horrible thing. That's definitely a reality that so many of
- 33:25Speaker 8: us know in this country now is that this is
- 33:28Speaker 8: the type of thing that can happen anywhere, and so
- 33:31Speaker 8: even more you need to be capable of being the
- 33:33Speaker 8: person who can respond in that moment. We all need
- 33:37Speaker 8: to be that person. And one of the big things,
- 33:39Speaker 8: one of the things I most love about Texas specifically,
- 33:42Speaker 8: is how many people are in every one of those
- 33:43Speaker 8: rooms if some horrible piece of crap shows up somewhere
- 33:47Speaker 8: intent on hurting people, but it's just amazing. And of
- 33:50Speaker 8: course mainstream media will buy in large reject conversations about
- 33:55Speaker 8: this because they pretend it doesn't exist. Here's what they
- 33:58Speaker 8: pretend happens if a civilian who is armed and is trained,
- 34:04Speaker 8: although I think they pretend that the person doesn't have
- 34:06Speaker 8: any training, that you can't go learn how to do
- 34:08Speaker 8: some of this yourself with a significant amount of time
- 34:11Speaker 8: and money spent to do it, but they pretend that's impossible.
- 34:15Speaker 8: But someone who is trained will only cause more chaos,
- 34:18Speaker 8: meaning the person who takes their gun out to defend
- 34:21Speaker 8: innocent people might also hit someone innocent if they fire. Also,
- 34:26Speaker 8: when the cops get there, there's mass confusion. These are
- 34:28Speaker 8: all the narratives of the left that a good guy
- 34:31Speaker 8: with a gun causes more harm than good and it's
- 34:34Speaker 8: simply not true. And it's simply not true here. And
- 34:37Speaker 8: my favorite part about Jordan Salinas and when he was
- 34:41Speaker 8: being interviewed about what he did, is they asked him
- 34:43Speaker 8: at some point, They're like, hey, when cops arrived, what happened?
- 34:47Speaker 8: And Jordan said, verbatim, my job was done and I
- 34:51Speaker 8: stood down. He didn't pretend to keep being involved. He
- 34:55Speaker 8: had stopped the threat. He had involved himself when there
- 34:58Speaker 8: was not people there to protect innocent lives. And the
- 35:02Speaker 8: moment that the cops took over, he put everything down
- 35:05Speaker 8: and he waited and he did the interviews and all
- 35:07Speaker 8: the stuff you need to do to not like run
- 35:09Speaker 8: away from the scene or anything. Essentially, he was a
- 35:12Speaker 8: controllable piece four cops as they arrived to an environment
- 35:15Speaker 8: where a horrible thing was happening. And a lot of
- 35:18Speaker 8: people pretend that wouldn't exist either, that if you do
- 35:21Speaker 8: pull out a gun, that there's going to be so
- 35:22Speaker 8: much confusion, they're not going to know if you're a
- 35:24Speaker 8: shoot or two, and someone's going to get hurt. And
- 35:26Speaker 8: so it's just such a great story to just definitively
- 35:30Speaker 8: prove every version of what mainstream media claims are the
- 35:34Speaker 8: dangers of having armed civilians I just simply don't exist.
- 35:38Speaker 8: There's just simply, at least in that story, a simply untrue.
- 35:41Speaker 8: All right, before we get out of here, I feel
- 35:42Speaker 8: like we should have some fun. We should talk about
- 35:45Speaker 8: some other things. Definitely a serious show. A lot of
- 35:48Speaker 8: stuff out there that I enjoyed, And honestly, one more time,
- 35:51Speaker 8: I'll just tell everybody check out the entire interview between
- 35:55Speaker 8: Robert F. Kennedy Junior and Dana Bash on CNN. It
- 35:58Speaker 8: happened over the weekend, and it was amazing. Little Debbie
- 36:02Speaker 8: Snacks uncovered a seventeen thousand dollars fraud. I think this
- 36:05Speaker 8: is involved in a flea market. I have a detective
- 36:08Speaker 8: talking about this. Fraud is even hitting up Little Debbie.
- 36:12Speaker 8: I thought this was interesting.
- 36:13Speaker 14: One of their delivery drivers was fraudulently issuing invoices to
- 36:17Speaker 14: three different stores without delivering product. We heard he was
- 36:20Speaker 14: around some local flea markets in the area.
- 36:23Speaker 2: They knew right off the bat that.
- 36:25Speaker 14: Something wasn't adding up because when they got built for
- 36:27Speaker 14: the invoice, they don't pay it out without scanning the
- 36:30Speaker 14: product first, so they didn't have the product to scan,
- 36:32Speaker 14: so they disputed the invoices with McKay Foods.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I'm glad it was a bad fraud. I'm glad that
- 36:37Speaker 1: was bad.
- 36:37Speaker 8: But as a guy that really likes snack cakes, I
- 36:39Speaker 8: find this very offensive. I'm as mad about this as
- 36:41Speaker 8: any kind of stealing that happens with our government. I
- 36:45Speaker 8: still have Funny Bones in my fridge right now, which
- 36:49Speaker 8: is a drake cake that is harder to get in
- 36:51Speaker 8: Texas than it is on the East Coast. And so
- 36:55Speaker 8: I think I'm somewhat upset for people in that case
- 36:59Speaker 8: in other places, because how dare he weaponize little Debbie.
- 37:03Speaker 8: You should have left her out of all the frauds.
- 37:04Speaker 8: She didn't deserve to be a part of it. I mean, yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 8: the guy got caught because again it was also kind
- 37:08Speaker 8: of a dumb thing. Other quick stories that I find interesting.
- 37:12Speaker 8: The average American spends four hundred dollars on summer activities
- 37:17Speaker 8: every weekend. And this is not like traveling. This is
- 37:21Speaker 8: just general. If you're a family of say four, you
- 37:25Speaker 8: got kids that want to do stuff over the weekend,
- 37:28Speaker 8: you go out and you do things, and you usually
- 37:31Speaker 8: spend about four hundred bucks every single weekend, and then
- 37:33Speaker 8: you spend a lot more when you actually go on vacation.
- 37:37Speaker 8: This obviously seems terrible. Sixty one dollars in dining out
- 37:41Speaker 8: is the average cost for a single meal, and that
- 37:44Speaker 8: actually sounds low, to be honest, if you have a
- 37:47Speaker 8: family of you, your wife and a couple kids. Sixty
- 37:50Speaker 8: dollars was a house gathering to buy some stuff to
- 37:53Speaker 8: have people over. Fifty nine dollars attending celebrations and gifts
- 37:57Speaker 8: fifty seven entertainment movies, concert all that kind of stuff.
- 38:01Speaker 8: Fifty five is outdoor activities, camping, boating. That's just what
- 38:05Speaker 8: you spend on the activity itself. It's not even the
- 38:07Speaker 8: additional things that might also add up there. But I
- 38:10Speaker 8: thought that that was sort of surprising. And you're going
- 38:13Speaker 8: to do a few of these things together. Transportation places
- 38:16Speaker 8: fifty one dollars, So four hundred bucks rapidly can be
- 38:21Speaker 8: a thing that happens. You know what's funny about this
- 38:23Speaker 8: topic too? And I don't know how big of a
- 38:26Speaker 8: Marvel fan Phil is a producer, Phil, but I did
- 38:29Speaker 8: see the Spider Man movie over the weekend.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Did you see it or no?
- 38:33Speaker 2: I tried to go see it, but it was so
- 38:35Speaker 2: love It was so that to see it.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Dude's still out everywhere.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Literally like a whole I know mob.
- 38:41Speaker 8: Yeah, it's crazy, dude, And tickets suck to go to
- 38:45Speaker 8: movies now compared to what they used to be.
- 38:47Speaker 1: It's not a lot of fun. But I made it.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I got to a showing and I thought the movie
- 38:51Speaker 1: was awesome. I thought it was great.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Don't ruin it. Though I won't see it.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I won't run it. I won't run anything about it.
- 38:57Speaker 8: I had a buddy of mine in Chicago that went
- 38:58Speaker 8: to see it at around the same time, and he
- 39:00Speaker 8: was texting me when he left that, like his theater
- 39:02Speaker 8: wasn't a lot of fun and he didn't really like
- 39:04Speaker 8: the movie.
- 39:05Speaker 1: And I was like, I know what you're talking about.
- 39:06Speaker 10: Man.
- 39:06Speaker 8: The place I went there were four Spider Man's. Four
- 39:09Speaker 8: people were dressed as Spider Man. They did a standing
- 39:12Speaker 8: ovation at the end of the movie. The crowd I
- 39:14Speaker 8: was with and like, I think they were just super nerds,
- 39:17Speaker 8: Like was it a good movie?
- 39:18Speaker 1: Yes? Did it deserve a standing ovation?
- 39:20Speaker 2: No?
- 39:21Speaker 1: I would say, even though I liked it, I don't
- 39:23Speaker 1: think that's true. But they did.
- 39:24Speaker 8: They were like applauding and screaming, and I was like,
- 39:27Speaker 8: this is a fun environment to see a movie in.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna and again it's it's good.
- 39:32Speaker 8: But it was like twenty five bucks to just go
- 39:34Speaker 8: to the movie and get almost no snacks.
- 39:36Speaker 15: Yeah, it was pretty expensive. But you know that's how
- 39:40Speaker 15: they made their money with big movies. Oh dude, did
- 39:42Speaker 15: so they take advantage of Yes.
- 39:44Speaker 8: I think that also made Did it make a history
- 39:46Speaker 8: at the box office? Like three hundred and sixty million dollars.
- 39:48Speaker 7: Something like that?
- 39:49Speaker 2: Okay, yeah it did.
- 39:50Speaker 1: It's deservinges did.
- 39:53Speaker 2: But Spider Man always does that.
- 39:54Speaker 8: Well, you know what's funny about that, Yes, because some
- 39:56Speaker 8: of the other Marvel movies have not been as good,
- 39:59Speaker 8: like they've sort of degrad in quality since probably endgame
- 40:02Speaker 8: for anybody that watches a lot of them and cares.
- 40:04Speaker 1: But Spider Man always kicks it right back up.
- 40:07Speaker 15: Yes, Spider Man always going to get you at least
- 40:10Speaker 15: record setting numbers as soon as it releases. Yeah, it's like,
- 40:15Speaker 15: remember when that Barbie movie came out, it was doing
- 40:18Speaker 15: a record numbers, Like people as dressing up as barb
- 40:20Speaker 15: dudes is dressing hum as Barbie.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't see all Yeah, you're right, Sae, it's crazy.
- 40:25Speaker 8: And then I think Oppenheimer came out at the same time,
- 40:28Speaker 8: and so a lot of people were doing both. And
- 40:29Speaker 8: The Odyssey is still doing really good at the box office.
- 40:32Speaker 8: Even if you don't like that movie and I didn't
- 40:34Speaker 8: go see.
- 40:35Speaker 2: It, it's actually a great movie. I watched.
- 40:38Speaker 1: You think it was? Did you?
- 40:39Speaker 3: Can?
- 40:39Speaker 1: I ask if you thought it was woke or not?
- 40:44Speaker 2: People say that.
- 40:45Speaker 8: I've seen some people conservative hosts say that it's not
- 40:51Speaker 8: because within the first like, however, many minutes, one of
- 40:54Speaker 8: the character, one of the actors is not really in
- 40:56Speaker 8: it anymore.
- 40:57Speaker 2: And it depends on your perspective.
- 40:59Speaker 8: And some of the lessons you learn in the movie
- 41:01Speaker 8: are really just sort of biblical lessons, like treat people
- 41:04Speaker 8: the way you want to be treated kind of se yeah,
- 41:06Speaker 8: he's not in his head to that. Yeah, so there's
- 41:08Speaker 8: redeeming quality. I haven't seen it, though, I don't know
- 41:10Speaker 8: if I will. I picked Spider Man, and Spider Man
- 41:13Speaker 8: was incredible, but again, tickets for that terrible.
- 41:16Speaker 1: All right, before we get.
- 41:17Speaker 8: Out here, a couple other quick things, sillier things that
- 41:20Speaker 8: I like as far as topics go. I do have
- 41:23Speaker 8: a story about a rotting fish sauce being removed from
- 41:28Speaker 8: a plant after decades of stench.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I don't know why I wanted.
- 41:32Speaker 8: To talk about this story specifically as far as some
- 41:35Speaker 8: of the stuff that's out there, and I think there
- 41:37Speaker 8: is audio from a guy in Newfoundland who's talking about it.
- 41:41Speaker 8: But I guess the reason, if I'm going to tell
- 41:44Speaker 8: you the truth is when I was reading this story,
- 41:47Speaker 8: what I was laughing about was the idea that my
- 41:49Speaker 8: wife is kind of convinced that when she leaves the
- 41:52Speaker 8: house for any amount of time, she's going to come
- 41:54Speaker 8: back to an absolutely crazy, horrible mess. She's going to
- 41:57Speaker 8: come back to the kind of thing that is just
- 41:58Speaker 8: surreally broken, and it's not it's.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Not gonna be that bad. And I was talking to
- 42:03Speaker 1: her on the phone.
- 42:04Speaker 8: She was actually like asking me if this got done,
- 42:07Speaker 8: if that got done, because she's currently in Mexico. And
- 42:11Speaker 8: my favorite answer to the uh to the clothes, because
- 42:13Speaker 8: she keeps asking me like every day, Phil, She's going, did.
- 42:16Speaker 1: You do the laundry yet?
- 42:18Speaker 8: And I'm like no, and she goes, why you gotta
- 42:20Speaker 8: do the laundry And I'm like, here's the thing, Betty,
- 42:22Speaker 8: I'm gonna not do the laundry until the day before
- 42:25Speaker 8: you get back, and then the day before I'm doing
- 42:28Speaker 8: all the laundry and you're not gonna know about it,
- 42:30Speaker 8: and it's it's not going to matter to you, because
- 42:32Speaker 8: that's the way I want to do the laundry.
- 42:34Speaker 1: I want it all to collect and then I want
- 42:36Speaker 1: to do all of it.
- 42:36Speaker 8: Plus I wear different shirts when I when I remember
- 42:39Speaker 8: what shirts I wear because shirts stay dirty. But she
- 42:43Speaker 8: can't seem to handle this man that I'm not doing
- 42:45Speaker 8: it and that it's in the house even though she's
- 42:48Speaker 8: not there.
- 42:48Speaker 15: Yeah, I mean I do the same thing too, though,
- 42:51Speaker 15: Like I waylight the day before, yeah, before they come
- 42:54Speaker 15: back on an hour before and I just knock everything
- 42:57Speaker 15: out because I did my day.
- 42:59Speaker 2: My day be long. So I'll just be trying to, like, you.
- 43:01Speaker 15: Know, as much as I could rest because I know
- 43:04Speaker 15: when she gets home, it's going to be a different situation,
- 43:06Speaker 15: you know what I mean.
- 43:07Speaker 8: She actually will get back tomorrow night, and so by
- 43:10Speaker 8: the time I get to work, everything at the house
- 43:13Speaker 8: tomorrow better be ready because I think she'll get back
- 43:15Speaker 8: before I get back home.
- 43:16Speaker 1: So like tonight tomorrow morning is going to be the
- 43:19Speaker 1: time that I fix any.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Of the problems.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Dude, she does.
- 43:24Speaker 8: And I made this joke before. I'm married to a Latina.
- 43:26Speaker 8: She also throws flip flops. I don't know if you
- 43:28Speaker 8: know about that. Do you know about that?
- 43:30Speaker 2: I didn't. I just found that out.
- 43:32Speaker 1: It's called a chankla.
- 43:34Speaker 8: That's the their word for flip flop, and they're all
- 43:37Speaker 8: very well known their moms themselves to chuck them at people.
- 43:41Speaker 8: That's that's how she would get hit with a chanklate
- 43:43Speaker 8: as a kid, whenever mom wanted her to do something.
- 43:45Speaker 8: And I think that my wife could compete in an
- 43:48Speaker 8: Olympic sport of throwing a sandal at.
- 43:51Speaker 1: My face like I did.
- 43:53Speaker 8: I could, dude, I could put like no, not with
- 43:57Speaker 8: like anything other than a flip flop in my face.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Those knee to be a part of it. But if
- 44:01Speaker 1: there were like little dots.
- 44:02Speaker 8: On my face and she had a precision hit them
- 44:04Speaker 8: with a flip flop and she was mad at me,
- 44:07Speaker 8: she would get gold medal every time.
- 44:08Speaker 1: It's incredible.
- 44:10Speaker 8: I don't know, And she says her mom's the same way.
- 44:12Speaker 8: But anyway, I'm gonna play this audio just because I
- 44:14Speaker 8: find it funny. This is the Minister of Environment, I
- 44:17Speaker 8: think in Newfoundland talking about discovering a twenty year old
- 44:20Speaker 8: fish smell that was horrible. And again, the reason I'm
- 44:23Speaker 8: amused is because my wife pictures our apartment being horribly
- 44:27Speaker 8: destroyed in the one week she hasn't been in it.
- 44:30Speaker 16: The people of Saint Mary's can take their town back
- 44:32Speaker 16: away from this fish sauce. But we couldn't be more
- 44:34Speaker 16: proud than to be standing here today and watching this
- 44:37Speaker 16: fish sauce leave this community.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I love that.
- 44:41Speaker 8: I love that as they're escorting all the terrible smelling
- 44:44Speaker 8: stuff out that for twenty years no one really knew
- 44:47Speaker 8: why their town smelled so bad. And then you know,
- 44:50Speaker 8: one of the guys from the government is like, today
- 44:52Speaker 8: is a proud day, my friends, because we will finally
- 44:55Speaker 8: stop smelling horror.
- 44:56Speaker 16: People of Saint Mary's can take their town back away
- 44:58Speaker 16: from this fish sauce. Again, we couldn't be more crowd
- 45:00Speaker 16: than to be standing here today and watching this fish
- 45:03Speaker 16: sauce leave this.
- 45:04Speaker 8: Community twenty years abandoned in a community that is rough.
- 45:09Speaker 1: All right, That's pretty much the whole show.
- 45:11Speaker 8: I had a couple other sillier things, but I think
- 45:13Speaker 8: we're already out of time, so I'm thrilled as always
- 45:16Speaker 8: to be with you here on the Voice of Texas
- 45:18Speaker 8: before I get out of here, before I'm done.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Two quick things.
- 45:21Speaker 8: You can find my podcast every single day wherever you
- 45:24Speaker 8: get podcasts, so just Google or look up Craig Collins
- 45:27Speaker 8: Show and whatever your platform of choice is and you
- 45:30Speaker 8: can find it that way. And it's getting more and
- 45:32Speaker 8: more downloads all the time, so that's awesome. Thank you
- 45:35Speaker 8: to everybody who does that. And then the second thing
- 45:37Speaker 8: for anyone that wants to check out our website and
- 45:40Speaker 8: go to the listen now button. For a lot of
- 45:42Speaker 8: people that like to listen online, our app is not updated,
- 45:45Speaker 8: but that listen now button is. Click on it, listen
- 45:48Speaker 8: to it, see the way it looks now, and tell
- 45:51Speaker 8: us if you like it more or less than the
- 45:53Speaker 8: old way that it would happen, where you go to
- 45:55Speaker 8: a different website and stuff, and it's existed that way
- 45:57Speaker 8: for a long time. And I'll also let us know
- 45:59Speaker 8: I would like this if anybody proactively contacts the station,
- 46:03Speaker 8: goes to our contact page on the website, if the
- 46:06Speaker 8: quality is better, if you listen predominantly online on the website,
- 46:11Speaker 8: if you think the quality of the digital stream has
- 46:14Speaker 8: gotten better. I'd love some feedback from anybody that's willing
- 46:17Speaker 8: to do it. But as I said, again, that's it,
- 46:19Speaker 8: that's the whole show. We are back tomorrow. I probably
- 46:22Speaker 8: won't play any more audio of Robert F. Kennedy Junior,
- 46:26Speaker 8: but I might because it's still going to be in
- 46:28Speaker 8: my brain and it's still going to be amazing. But
- 46:30Speaker 8: I'll definitely have an update on how I'll clean my
- 46:32Speaker 8: house is tomorrow at six o'clock.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I'm KSV, the Voice of Texas
