- 0:02Speaker 1: You've been following along on Big ninety eight point seven's
- 0:04Speaker 1: Facebook page or Instagram. I've been having some fun pranking Angie.
- 0:09Speaker 2: And it's really all fun. It's just like trolling Angie.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Yeah, but I wanted to ask you today, I need
- 0:16Speaker 1: some ideas here, what's uh the best prank you've ever
- 0:18Speaker 1: pulled off? Let me know this morning that's seven one
- 0:21Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Maybe I'll add something to my repertoire.
- 0:25Speaker 3: That is so funny because this morning, when I was
- 0:28Speaker 3: getting ready for work, I was thinking, you know, Gabe
- 0:31Speaker 3: hasn't trolled me in a minute, and I wonder why, And.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Quite literally, it's just because you ran out of the idea.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Well, I got a few more in the old back pocket.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I figured i'd give you a break for.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Waiting for the element of surprise. Got it?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Did you do you have a favorite prank you've ever pulled?
- 0:51Speaker 5: No? You know what?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Mine are always little things like, Okay, for example, when
- 0:55Speaker 3: we go to Unhinged, Yeah, I always get a pizza
- 0:59Speaker 3: to go to bring home to the kids, and they
- 1:01Speaker 3: always asked me.
- 1:02Speaker 4: To bring ranch.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Oh and so every single time I get home and
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'll have some variation of oh my gosh, I forgot
- 1:11Speaker 3: the ranch. The last time was oh my gosh, I
- 1:15Speaker 3: got the ranch, but then forgot to bring the pizza home,
- 1:19Speaker 3: and they're like, what no, And.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Then I'm like, just kidding.
- 1:23Speaker 3: The pizza and the ranches here got them. And it
- 1:26Speaker 3: always makes me laugh. The kids always roll their eyes,
- 1:29Speaker 3: but to me, I think that's fun.
- 1:31Speaker 1: One of my favorite pranks I've ever done is and
- 1:34Speaker 1: this was I was a young radio guy at the time,
- 1:37Speaker 1: and it still to this day makes me laugh. I
- 1:39Speaker 1: had a buddy who I worked with, and I set
- 1:42Speaker 1: up you know and Fargo we have the locals love us.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I had kind of set up a fake email kind
- 1:47Speaker 1: of along lines of locals love us. I said, Hey,
- 1:51Speaker 1: you have one as being one of the town's favorite
- 1:54Speaker 1: radio DJs in the area, and I need you to
- 1:58Speaker 1: send us a couple photos every day this week for
- 2:01Speaker 1: your chance to win. Right, well, have listeners vote on
- 2:04Speaker 1: him and things like that.
- 2:05Speaker 4: You this is rude, already rude.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It was like, I need a picture of you.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I call him a kitchen skirt, but an apron, Okay,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I need a picture of you with an apron. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: need you a picture of you wearing a Hawaiian shirt
- 2:17Speaker 1: and blah blah blah blah blah. Right, So he sent
- 2:19Speaker 1: me every day for a week four to five pictures,
- 2:22Speaker 1: and I believe I made a collage and uploaded in.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I was very proud of that. It was very harmless.
- 2:27Speaker 4: That is so rude.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I wasn't mad.
- 2:29Speaker 1: About the photos. He was mad about the contest. That
- 2:32Speaker 1: was not real.
- 2:34Speaker 4: We didn't win everything, and you made.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Him dress up silly for photos game. That's rude and finding.
- 2:41Speaker 2: That was very very lighthearted fun.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Don't you dare ever do something like that to me,
- 2:47Speaker 3: because I will believe you, because I trust you.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Rebecca. What is your all time favorite prank you've ever done?
- 2:55Speaker 4: My cousin told me that if you put kool Aid
- 2:56Speaker 4: powder in the shower head, it turns into spot.
- 3:00Speaker 6: So I did it before my sister showered.
- 3:02Speaker 3: And she came out screaming, dived pink, smelling like fruit punch.
- 3:07Speaker 4: I regret nothing.
- 3:08Speaker 1: This sounds like a fabulous prank you could pull off
- 3:10Speaker 1: on maybe an eight year old of yours.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, think he'd fall for that.
- 3:15Speaker 4: No, I think he would be worried that he was
- 3:17Speaker 4: like covered in blood or something.
- 3:19Speaker 1: They go a little too far right and Tim, what
- 3:22Speaker 1: about you, man, what's your favorite prank?
- 3:23Speaker 7: I borrowed my cousin's corvette when I was seventeen, and
- 3:25Speaker 7: I brought it to my friend's house and I told
- 3:27Speaker 7: him that it was his birthday present from me and
- 3:29Speaker 7: that I thought it used. We drove around in it
- 3:31Speaker 7: for a little while and he was absolutely convinced, and
- 3:34Speaker 7: then I told him I just borrowed it and it
- 3:37Speaker 7: wasn't his.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Okay, that's mean, I'll be on it.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I don't have a single friend who is buying me
- 3:43Speaker 1: a corvette for my birthday. If they show up in
- 3:45Speaker 1: a corvette, I'm gonna be like, Okay, where do we
- 3:47Speaker 1: got to bring this back to?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Holy?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:49Speaker 2: That how do you fall for this?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Ella? Hearing that your friend's that dumb?
- 3:57Speaker 2: We are talking pranks this morning.
- 4:00Speaker 6: I have a prank that I had pulled on somebody
- 4:04Speaker 6: many years ago.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Please tell us.
- 4:07Speaker 6: I was dating this joy and we were supposed to
- 4:12Speaker 6: go to an event together and he called me up
- 4:15Speaker 6: and told me that he wasn't going, that he wasn't
- 4:18Speaker 6: really good, and I had a little suspicion, and so
- 4:21Speaker 6: I went to this event and I happened to find
- 4:25Speaker 6: him with another girl. And so after that I had
- 4:30Speaker 6: told him that thanks a lot for cheating on me.
- 4:34Speaker 6: I'm pregnant now, Molly, and he went home and told
- 4:40Speaker 6: his dad that he got a girl pregnant.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Joy.
- 4:45Speaker 6: So yeah, don't ever deceive me.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories every morning we practiced gratitude on
- 4:58Speaker 5: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 5:00Speaker 1: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 5:02Speaker 1: basket join busted out whenever someone's acting hard.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 5:08Speaker 5: two eight oho one ninety eight.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Seven, kids, I also needed to win that day, Angie.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Do you have a little victory something to celebrate today?
- 5:16Speaker 4: I sure do.
- 5:18Speaker 3: A few weeks ago, maybe a month ago, my dishwasher
- 5:24Speaker 3: stopped working. There's just like a build up of stagnant water.
- 5:27Speaker 3: We reset it, it drains, and then the problem keeps happening.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I'm a renter, and thankfully my property management company takes
- 5:34Speaker 3: care of those things. But have I put in the
- 5:38Speaker 3: maintenance request? Not until yesterday, So I hand wash my
- 5:43Speaker 3: dishes net like as soon as the dishwasher is at
- 5:45Speaker 3: a commission.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You not having a dishwasher like, it's kind of a
- 5:48Speaker 1: minor inconvenience.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Bother me at all, because really, I hand wash all
- 5:52Speaker 3: my dishes anyway, because I grew up being the dishwasher. Yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 3: and that's just what I'm used to, So then running
- 5:59Speaker 3: it through the dish shwasher was just an extra sanitation
- 6:02Speaker 3: step for me. So not having it not the biggest
- 6:04Speaker 3: deal in the world. But I noticed that the water
- 6:08Speaker 3: was building up again, and the last thing I need
- 6:10Speaker 3: is for there to be like a leak and for
- 6:12Speaker 3: it to cause a bunch of water damage. So finally,
- 6:14Speaker 3: right before bed, I remembered and I put in the
- 6:18Speaker 3: maintenance request. And by the way, well I was in
- 6:22Speaker 3: bed at like six pm. But my property management company,
- 6:25Speaker 3: they immediately responded, and now they are going to show
- 6:29Speaker 3: up at nine point thirty today. Oh wonderful look at
- 6:32Speaker 3: this dishwasher and figure out what's going wrong. And I'm
- 6:35Speaker 3: very proud of myself for finally, after a month putting
- 6:40Speaker 3: in the maintenance request.
- 6:41Speaker 4: That's actually a record for me.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I usually just put things off for months and months
- 6:45Speaker 3: and months until I move.
- 6:47Speaker 2: So well, wait, I'm proud of you. Wait, got you
- 6:50Speaker 2: You made that?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Well you probably didn't even have to make a phone
- 6:53Speaker 1: call do you just do it online?
- 6:54Speaker 3: If I had to make a phone call, this dishwasher
- 6:56Speaker 3: would be broken.
- 6:57Speaker 4: For a life.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I get that. Totally understand that, my little victory.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I found out yesterday that my wife really does love me.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Oh and we were all questioning.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I know she you know, like that one time she
- 7:10Speaker 2: called me ugly, no kidding.
- 7:12Speaker 3: But she didn't say it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But we have some chili at the house and it
- 7:19Speaker 1: just kind of like clawed. I finally just clocked it yesterday, right, Okay, Now,
- 7:24Speaker 1: my wife is a wonderful cook. She like has worked
- 7:28Speaker 1: very hard on kind of getting good at it, and
- 7:30Speaker 1: anything she makes is fabulous. Anything I make is average
- 7:34Speaker 1: to okay, and she puts up a good face and
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'll just eat it. But everything she makes is wonderful.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But she would do this thing with chili that would
- 7:43Speaker 1: drive me nuts. And you have heard me talk about
- 7:47Speaker 1: this before, Angie. I am not a big giant fan
- 7:50Speaker 1: of like huge tomato.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Chip You hate big tomato tomatos.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Okay, they're small, you know. I can just kind of
- 7:59Speaker 1: eat them and it's fine. But I do not like big,
- 8:02Speaker 1: kind of chewy, squishy tomato chunks. For whatever reason, it's
- 8:05Speaker 1: just a textra thing. I kind of hate them because
- 8:07Speaker 1: I don't think they taste bad. Yeah, and the last
- 8:11Speaker 1: thing of chili my wife made a handful of days ago.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I just now realized she went with these small, like
- 8:17Speaker 1: tiny little tomatoes.
- 8:18Speaker 2: In the chili saud.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Now I can just kind I don't have to eat
- 8:21Speaker 1: around them or whatever. And it hit me yesterday as
- 8:24Speaker 1: I was eating a little bit of an early dinner,
- 8:26Speaker 1: late late lunch at home. Oh my god, my wife
- 8:31Speaker 1: actually bought the small tomato chunks for me, and it
- 8:34Speaker 1: was really sweet.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I love this for you because I actually have heard
- 8:38Speaker 3: you complain several times about the tomato.
- 8:42Speaker 4: And I found to avoid hearing you complain.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I'm glad she got the little tomatoes.
- 8:56Speaker 1: And it's so sad how hard you do have to
- 8:58Speaker 1: work for that money, how expensive everything is. Did you know, people,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I came across this story where people have stopped buying
- 9:07Speaker 1: just Doritos or other name brand snacks because they've become
- 9:11Speaker 1: so expensive. We're talking like seven dollars a bag.
- 9:15Speaker 2: It is dreams.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It is incredible, and it's actually so bad Walmart is
- 9:21Speaker 1: reducing the shelf space for these products. People have just
- 9:25Speaker 1: flat out said you know what, I can't afford a
- 9:27Speaker 1: seven dollars bag of Dorito's, and Walmart went, well, people
- 9:30Speaker 1: aren't buying these, so we're not gonna stock up as
- 9:32Speaker 1: much or with as much of these, you know what.
- 9:35Speaker 4: That makes sense. But also Walmart's brand of great value
- 9:39Speaker 4: I think is the Walmart brand. They're smoked barbecue chips.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Wonder are incorrect? Yeah, they really are.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And this was this threat I saw going massively viral online.
- 9:49Speaker 1: There's so many good responses on it, so I wanted
- 9:51Speaker 1: to bring it to you here today. What is something
- 9:54Speaker 1: that right now you just aren't buying because flat out
- 9:57Speaker 1: it is too expensive? Seven zero one two eight zero
- 10:01Speaker 1: one nine eight seven. You can text us or call
- 10:03Speaker 1: us and some of my favorite answers on here because
- 10:06Speaker 1: there's a few of these, well at least two out
- 10:09Speaker 1: of the four that I grabbed, that we aren't really
- 10:11Speaker 1: doing at our house, or if we are, it's on
- 10:14Speaker 1: very special occasions, like, for example, beer at concerts. All right,
- 10:20Speaker 1: people are done paying nineteen dollars for one beer and
- 10:25Speaker 1: people are saying it's just absurd. Now, is this something
- 10:28Speaker 1: that I am going to follow? Probably not. I've told
- 10:31Speaker 1: you before, and I've told this story here on Big
- 10:33Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven. But if I am going out
- 10:35Speaker 1: to a show, I have just decided that, you know what,
- 10:38Speaker 1: it's gonna be a two hundred dollars day.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I don't care. I'm gonna spend it.
- 10:43Speaker 1: But there are things at concerts or whatever that I
- 10:46Speaker 1: have stopped buying, you know, things like food or snacks
- 10:50Speaker 1: or things like that. Unless you're at a ballgame and
- 10:52Speaker 1: you can get like a hot dog for cheap, then
- 10:54Speaker 1: I might do that. But like also concert tees things
- 10:58Speaker 1: like that. There it's sixty seven tventy five something dollars.
- 11:01Speaker 4: For tea shirt.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, like I can't justify that.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I love the Foo Fighters right, they're coming here
- 11:07Speaker 1: in September to the Fargo Dome. And I bought a
- 11:11Speaker 1: food Fighters shirt out of concert once when I was
- 11:13Speaker 1: in my teens, and I think it was like twenty bucks.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Now I think they're like eighty. That is correct. I
- 11:18Speaker 2: can't do that. Absolutely, no red meat.
- 11:22Speaker 1: This is something we have done at our house when
- 11:25Speaker 1: we make chili or spaghetti. We aren't using regular Hamburger anymore.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And this is probably just kind of a health thing
- 11:31Speaker 1: too that Corey does, but it's also a little bit
- 11:34Speaker 1: cheaper to just get like the Turkey version.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Oh I didn't know that. Back in the day, the
- 11:38Speaker 4: Turkey was more expensive. How funny.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so we've kind of stopped doing that.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That might be a health thing too, I think Corey
- 11:44Speaker 1: just I think thinks it's more healthy for which it
- 11:47Speaker 1: probably is, you know, all right, And then I have
- 11:49Speaker 1: two more for you. Is there anyone you have, Angie?
- 11:52Speaker 1: Is anything you've just been like, you know, I can't
- 11:53Speaker 1: buy this.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Uh, it's in the land of streaming.
- 11:57Speaker 3: I've really had to like buckle down and what are
- 12:00Speaker 3: the streaming services I'm absolutely using?
- 12:04Speaker 4: So we had to cut out YouTube TV.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Oh really got rid of just like watching television kind of.
- 12:10Speaker 3: So, I mean I still have like the mains that
- 12:13Speaker 3: have all my stuff that I need. But YouTube TV
- 12:16Speaker 3: Live right now is like seventy something dollars a month.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's insane.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I can't pay that.
- 12:22Speaker 3: And then also Hulu, HBO, Bags, Peacock, like I really
- 12:27Speaker 3: had to pare down and that was the one that
- 12:29Speaker 3: had the least things on it that.
- 12:31Speaker 4: I cared about.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And it's funny you say this because someone did say
- 12:34Speaker 1: Netflix and they said after subscribing for fourteen years, they
- 12:38Speaker 1: raised their prices for the second time in less than
- 12:41Speaker 1: two years. There's other streaming services that they've got rid
- 12:45Speaker 1: of as well, just because the rates are climbing. And
- 12:47Speaker 1: then finally this one I did not know and this
- 12:50Speaker 1: one we will not be following it. The Glyndenhouse will
- 12:52Speaker 1: spend the extra couple of bucks. Cereal Family size cereal
- 12:57Speaker 1: are the size of normal boxes that they were like
- 13:00Speaker 1: five years ago. So the family size has gotten like
- 13:03Speaker 1: smaller and more expensive.
- 13:05Speaker 3: And we switched to doing the bagged cereal just cheaper.
- 13:09Speaker 3: It's cheaper, and they finally figured it out and they
- 13:14Speaker 3: have like the ziplock feature on the bag. Oh sure, yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 3: which why is not that happening in boxed cereal? It
- 13:22Speaker 3: goes stale so quick, and you know, my man never
- 13:25Speaker 3: closes a bag ever, so it.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Makes more sense to do bagged cereal now.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah. So seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 13:32Speaker 2: eight seven.
- 13:33Speaker 1: If any of these kind of triggered something for you,
- 13:35Speaker 1: what did you say no to because you're like, you know,
- 13:37Speaker 1: I just can't do this anymore.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Let us know.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Here a big ninety eight point seven in.
- 13:43Speaker 5: The world of rules in Gray Areas, one morning show
- 13:45Speaker 5: dares to ask the hard questions.
- 13:47Speaker 2: We both know you're guilty.
- 13:49Speaker 4: He's guilty.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Is it legal?
- 13:51Speaker 1: You're guilty of the worst crime of all.
- 13:54Speaker 2: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 13:57Speaker 1: The master's underway right now, So i've little bit of
- 14:00Speaker 1: a golf Is it legal for you here today, Angie?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Let's say you absolutely shank a drive or a golf
- 14:08Speaker 1: ball in general. I guess that ends up in the clubhouse.
- 14:11Speaker 1: We're talking full send hits, the cart path, bounces fifteen times,
- 14:15Speaker 1: rolls past the practice green, and ends up in the clubhouse.
- 14:18Speaker 4: That sounds like something I would do.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, So is it legal to play that shot
- 14:24Speaker 2: in golf?
- 14:25Speaker 4: Oh? I do want to know this?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Shockingly, Yes, it can be. If the clubhouse isn't out
- 14:32Speaker 1: of bounds. You can literally go in, slide, open a door,
- 14:36Speaker 1: open up a window, if you're real confident, and hit
- 14:38Speaker 1: your next shot. No penalty, all right, Nope, you don't
- 14:41Speaker 1: have to add a stroke or two or whatever whatever
- 14:44Speaker 1: you want to do. But it's really just you and
- 14:46Speaker 1: your dignity and a very confused group of individuals in
- 14:49Speaker 1: there drinking beer, eating hot dogs. Okay, and it does
- 14:52Speaker 1: get better. Let's say your ball rolls under a parked car.
- 14:56Speaker 1: All right, you really miss this one and end up
- 14:59Speaker 1: in the parking lot. Yeah, not gonna say I've never
- 15:01Speaker 1: done that. But if you can move the car, you
- 15:05Speaker 1: can also play that shot no penalty because it is
- 15:10Speaker 1: a movable obstruction. So if you're under a minivan, go
- 15:14Speaker 1: track down Darcy in the clubhouse and be like.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Hey, could you move this astro van for me.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Real quick, I'm trying to shoot the course record. But
- 15:22Speaker 1: if it's like you obviously can't move the mini van, congrats.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Now it's an immovable obstruction.
- 15:29Speaker 2: You get free relief.
- 15:31Speaker 1: This is fascinating to working lot was such a great
- 15:34Speaker 1: place to love yea golf ball.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Well, this is really heartening because I'm going to start
- 15:38Speaker 3: playing golf this summer with Mikey, and I already know
- 15:41Speaker 3: I'm about to be having the ball being all kinds
- 15:44Speaker 3: of weird places.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Right, So remember, if your golf game is bad enough
- 15:48Speaker 1: at some point, there are some rules that will actually
- 15:50Speaker 1: start helping you out.
- 15:57Speaker 2: You might be able to go swim in tomorrow.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I got I wish I got into this discussion yesterday
- 16:02Speaker 3: at my house with the kids and with Mikey, and
- 16:05Speaker 3: I figured I posted to the big ninety eight point
- 16:07Speaker 3: seven Facebook page because I wanted your take and as
- 16:12Speaker 3: you listened to this seven zero one two eight o
- 16:14Speaker 3: one nine eight seven, let me know what you think.
- 16:15Speaker 3: But I posted this scenario your parents take your kids
- 16:19Speaker 3: swimming without asking you first. Are you okay with this?
- 16:24Speaker 3: And there was a lot of comments disagreeing with my philosophy.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Honestly, so, I think there was an episode.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I got into it with my father in law back
- 16:35Speaker 3: in the day when I was pregnant with Aiden, and
- 16:38Speaker 3: it was because my older one, so a long time ago,
- 16:42Speaker 3: and I forget why it came up yesterday, but we're
- 16:44Speaker 3: watching the Sopranos and there was some scene.
- 16:49Speaker 4: There was some scene where not with my kids.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm saying, back in the day, I was watching the Soprandos,
- 16:54Speaker 3: and there was some scene where like Tony Soprano's sister
- 16:58Speaker 3: took the kids or something to the beach without telling
- 17:03Speaker 3: their mom, Carmela, and Carmela gets into it with Tony's
- 17:08Speaker 3: sister like you should have told me that you were
- 17:10Speaker 3: going to take them to the beach because the water
- 17:12Speaker 3: and drowning and whatever. We're watching this scene and my
- 17:15Speaker 3: father in law at the time says, oh, that's bs.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I would take my grand babies to the beach whenever
- 17:21Speaker 3: I want.
- 17:22Speaker 4: And I said, well, I mean I would want you
- 17:24Speaker 4: to ask me first.
- 17:26Speaker 3: And you would think that I told this man that
- 17:29Speaker 3: his mother was a scumbag or something, because he got
- 17:33Speaker 3: so angry with me and launched into this thing, Oh
- 17:36Speaker 3: you don't trust me with my own grandbabies. When have
- 17:41Speaker 3: I ever done anything to make you not trust me?
- 17:43Speaker 3: This whole long thing.
- 17:44Speaker 4: It caused a whole rift. It was a disaster.
- 17:48Speaker 3: But I still think to this day that that's totally fine.
- 17:53Speaker 3: And so I asked on Facebook, and a lot of
- 17:55Speaker 3: you are not on my side.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Someone even said, is this a legitimate question?
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it is a legitimate question. I just feel like
- 18:08Speaker 3: if that were weird, I know, but if it were me,
- 18:12Speaker 3: like and I was the grandma, and I feel like, duh,
- 18:15Speaker 3: ask the parent of the kids. Drowning deaths happen, and
- 18:20Speaker 3: most of the time on accident. Okay, I'm not saying
- 18:24Speaker 3: that people are negligent, really, but things happen, and so
- 18:28Speaker 3: I just feel like it would make sense to ask
- 18:31Speaker 3: the parent first so that at least you know that
- 18:34Speaker 3: your kid is in a water situation. Sure, am I
- 18:38Speaker 3: crazy for thinking this? And this is weird? Things will
- 18:42Speaker 3: come up like this when your parenting, Gab, you're not
- 18:44Speaker 3: a parent yet, but it'll happen before you know it,
- 18:47Speaker 3: and there will be a lot of scenarios that you
- 18:49Speaker 3: won't even think to think about until they pop up.
- 18:54Speaker 3: And so I guess I'm now gonna ask you, Gabe, like,
- 18:58Speaker 3: would you want your parents to tell you if baby
- 19:01Speaker 3: G was gonna go with them to the pool or something?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, there's kind of a few, I'd say a few
- 19:06Speaker 1: scenarios for that, right, Like baby G like really really young.
- 19:10Speaker 2: We're talking under the age of probably three.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I don't know if it's like an ask kind of thing,
- 19:16Speaker 1: but it's more of a just a heads up, we're
- 19:18Speaker 1: gonna go to the kiddie pool today.
- 19:20Speaker 2: At least I'm aware, I suppose.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Now when it's a newborn, absolutely not bro Greg Glitten
- 19:27Speaker 1: is seventy four and I love this man with my
- 19:29Speaker 1: entire heart. But this guy is seventy four. He has COPD,
- 19:33Speaker 1: he has asthma and a deviated septum. If this little
- 19:37Speaker 1: baby G is in a you know, sadly a drowning scenario,
- 19:41Speaker 1: Greg couldn't get up and walk fast enough to the
- 19:45Speaker 1: pool to jump into sabr Okay, so that probably not
- 19:49Speaker 1: If Grandma's there, it might be a little different situation. Sorry, dad,
- 19:53Speaker 1: But that's just kind of all It's gonna go a lot.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But I would like it if they were even just
- 19:57Speaker 1: going to Walmart. Yeah, just like a hey, just heads up,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm taking the kid to Walmart. I think i'd appreciate
- 20:03Speaker 1: Do I need it, No, but i'd appreciate it.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Probably a lot of people were raising the question, well
- 20:08Speaker 3: do you not trust your mom or your dad? Like
- 20:12Speaker 3: why don't you trust them? And it's not a matter
- 20:15Speaker 3: of trust, Like I trust my mom completely to take
- 20:19Speaker 3: care of my kids, and she's babysat a million times,
- 20:22Speaker 3: and like, obviously I feel like they're safe with her.
- 20:24Speaker 3: But something about it being a pool situation, I always
- 20:28Speaker 3: wanted to be giving the heads up because now I
- 20:31Speaker 3: know that they're in a body of water, by a
- 20:35Speaker 3: body of water, I feel like i'd be checking in
- 20:37Speaker 3: more just to like make sure, because the worst phone
- 20:40Speaker 3: call you could get is that something happened. And if
- 20:43Speaker 3: you didn't even know your kids were at the beach
- 20:46Speaker 3: or at the pool, I feel like that's so much worse,
- 20:50Speaker 3: and I just feel like this entire time, how old
- 20:52Speaker 3: is Aiden? He's fifteen, He's almost sixteen, so for and
- 20:56Speaker 3: this happened when I was pregnant, So for like the
- 20:58Speaker 3: last seventeen years, I have the wholeheartedly that I was correct,
- 21:03Speaker 3: and now everyone's making me feel like maybe I was
- 21:06Speaker 3: a little too hardh.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 21:11Speaker 1: What do you think about this question?
- 21:13Speaker 2: Angie?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Is posted on Facebook for you today.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Welcome to the space jam, oh Man, space Nerds.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Our time is coming to a close.
- 21:27Speaker 3: So the start, Yeah, the Artemis to crew they splash
- 21:32Speaker 3: down tonight off of the San Diego coast, and like,
- 21:36Speaker 3: what a historic mission they went on, and now it's
- 21:40Speaker 3: it feels kind of crazy that it's already coming to
- 21:42Speaker 3: a close, but it was only a ten day mission
- 21:44Speaker 3: on their schedule to splash down tonight around seven o'clock our.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Time, eight o'clock Eastern. And uh, the the.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Thing is when they are in re entry, they say
- 21:56Speaker 3: that there's going to be like a six minute blackout
- 21:58Speaker 3: of communication because they've been you know, live streaming a
- 22:01Speaker 3: ton of stuff, but there will be communication a blackout
- 22:04Speaker 3: for like six minutes and then After that, the parachutes
- 22:07Speaker 3: will deploy and then it'll slow down the orion capsule
- 22:12Speaker 3: to about twenty miles per hour. Then, once the spacecraft
- 22:15Speaker 3: splashes down, divers will go get the astronauts. They'll put
- 22:19Speaker 3: them on a raft and then they'll be taken by
- 22:21Speaker 3: helicopter to the recovery ship. The only hiccup that they
- 22:26Speaker 3: could have is a storm system that is currently forming,
- 22:31Speaker 3: So splashdown requires wave heights to be less than six
- 22:34Speaker 3: feet and wins more than twenty eight miles per hour,
- 22:37Speaker 3: and a thirty five mile radius of no rain or
- 22:40Speaker 3: storm activity. So if those conditions a lot here, Yeah,
- 22:45Speaker 3: So it's all very precise.
- 22:46Speaker 4: So we just everybody manifests that everything goes.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Smoothly and then our little astronauts can come back down
- 22:53Speaker 3: and then that's it the end of the Artemis two mission.
- 22:57Speaker 4: What's cool, though, is that this.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Is just the beginning, because Artemis three will be next
- 23:01Speaker 3: year and then there's another flight planned after that, so
- 23:05Speaker 3: we're just I mean, the next frontier is here.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I did a little research on this as well. Artemis
- 23:12Speaker 1: two is expected to re enter the Earth's atmosphere at
- 23:16Speaker 1: nearly thirty five thousand feet per second.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So what did I do? Of course I wanted to
- 23:21Speaker 2: find out what you could do.
- 23:22Speaker 1: If you could travel thirty five thousand wow per second,
- 23:26Speaker 1: you could cross the entire US in under two minutes.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Oh five thousand feet per second. You could go from
- 23:34Speaker 1: Fargo to Minneapolis in about three seconds. Oh my god,
- 23:39Speaker 1: that is how fast they will be traveling. So yes,
- 23:41Speaker 1: of course we hope all goes well. Yeah, and a
- 23:43Speaker 1: safe landing, which is just going to make you know,
- 23:45Speaker 1: more space travel and more of these missions, you know,
- 23:49Speaker 1: on a positive foot.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah, this really united a nation seeing you know, four
- 23:56Speaker 3: astronauts go farther in space than any humans ever have.
- 24:01Speaker 4: And I like that.
- 24:01Speaker 3: I feel like in the year of twenty twenty six,
- 24:03Speaker 3: we need things that bring us together.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I need some good.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Starting off the day with something good.
- 24:13Speaker 5: This is Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 24:18Speaker 1: The Fargo Force have built one of the most energetic
- 24:21Speaker 1: and well attended atmospheres in the USHL, thanks to passionate
- 24:26Speaker 1: fans and a strong focus on family friendly entertainment game nights.
- 24:31Speaker 2: At Shields Arena.
- 24:31Speaker 1: They're highlighted by super fans Steven Olsen drumming and crowd
- 24:36Speaker 1: traditions like this one to help create a lively experience.
- 24:44Speaker 1: The team averaged just over four thy one hundred fans
- 24:48Speaker 1: this season, ranking near the top of the league. With
- 24:51Speaker 1: multiple sellouts and consistently high attendance over the years, team
- 24:55Speaker 1: officials they credit affordable ticket prices, creative promotions, and a
- 24:58Speaker 1: welcoming event excuse me, a welcoming environment for families. League
- 25:03Speaker 1: leadership has taken notice, praising the arena's atmosphere in the
- 25:06Speaker 1: organization's intentional approach to fan experience. From in game entertainment
- 25:12Speaker 1: to kid friendly activities, the Force have turned games into
- 25:14Speaker 1: a community event, helping them stand out as one of
- 25:17Speaker 1: the USHL's biggest draws. Congratulations to the Fargo Force. Yes,
- 25:23Speaker 1: when you're in a league like the USHL, getting fans
- 25:28Speaker 1: to go to games in different markets can be difficult.
- 25:31Speaker 1: It can be tough to do, but how cool is
- 25:33Speaker 1: it here in the FM area we do it, you know,
- 25:37Speaker 1: better than most, if not all, of.
- 25:39Speaker 2: The league the USHL.
- 25:41Speaker 1: So very very great congratulations saw those players, the coaches,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and the fans who go there and cheer on the
- 25:46Speaker 1: Fargo Force. The world is full of nice people. If
- 25:49Speaker 1: you can't find one, you gotta be one. And don't
- 25:50Speaker 1: forget broken crans. They still color
