- 0:04Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty five whist stuck in pint
- 0:07Speaker 1: Bowl and they air a whizz So, yeah, it's too bad,
- 0:11Speaker 1: But what did you expect? It's a podcast called twenty
- 0:15Speaker 1: five Whistles.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Twenty wine hit it good, thank you?
- 0:20Speaker 3: There it is, we'll start it. Hey, Eddie, I'm gonna
- 0:22Speaker 3: ask you, can you name the four teams that have
- 0:25Speaker 3: never played in a Super Bowl?
- 0:28Speaker 2: Never played in the Super Bowl?
- 0:30Speaker 3: I asked this because I found an image and it
- 0:34Speaker 3: was every NFL team super Bowl record And the best
- 0:38Speaker 3: record of all time is the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's six
- 0:40Speaker 3: and two. So this wasn't so much a trivia question.
- 0:44Speaker 3: But I saw I got three of the four and
- 0:48Speaker 3: then I think I could have battled it out for
- 0:49Speaker 3: the fourth. But I didn't nail off four immediately. So
- 0:52Speaker 3: I wanted to ask you, can you name that's never been?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Does this count as oh.
- 0:57Speaker 3: That's never been? Not never one? Never been? Can there
- 1:00Speaker 3: are other teams who have never won?
- 1:02Speaker 2: The Music City Miracle was an AFC championship, I think,
- 1:07Speaker 2: so I'm gonna go with Titans.
- 1:10Speaker 3: The Titans have been. They went because they lost to
- 1:12Speaker 3: the Rams in the Super Bowl. Greatest show that one inch,
- 1:16Speaker 3: one yard. Yeah. Yeah, that was also in the documentary
- 1:19Speaker 3: watched on Steve McNair.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I haven't watched that yet. No, no, no, no, it's in
- 1:23Speaker 2: my cueue. I'm going on.
- 1:24Speaker 3: It's not even that long. It's not long like Chiefs
- 1:27Speaker 3: of Holly. Yeah, it goes quick, yeah, because I think
- 1:29Speaker 3: it's like fifty three minutes or something. Chief so Holid's
- 1:31Speaker 3: like seven hours.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I need to watch that.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Man. Four teams have never been to the Super Bowl?
- 1:38Speaker 3: Can you come up with one? You don't need four
- 1:39Speaker 3: to one.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I know the Browns have never won, but have they
- 1:44Speaker 2: ever been. I'm gonna say they've never been.
- 1:48Speaker 3: The Browns have never been to the super Bowl. There's
- 1:50Speaker 3: zero and zero.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Gosh, that's tough. Let's see. I think the West, Oh,
- 1:58Speaker 2: I think the Cardinals. The Cardinals have been.
- 2:02Speaker 3: The Cardinals have been.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Yea, Cardinals have been. The Buccaneers. I'm gonna go with
- 2:09Speaker 2: the Buccaneers have not been.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Tampa Bay won with Tom Brady, like.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Forgot about that.
- 2:15Speaker 3: They won twice with I think they want the Ruden once.
- 2:17Speaker 4: With Brad Johnson.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I remember that. I remember that.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you one more shot at it.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, gosh, I mean the Dolphins have been
- 2:27Speaker 2: kind of look geographically think oh okay, think differently?
- 2:31Speaker 3: Is that of geographically? Go ahead first, before I give
- 2:33Speaker 3: you a prompt.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with the Texans.
- 2:37Speaker 3: And I was gonna say, think of the newer teams,
- 2:40Speaker 3: because the Texans weren't moved from somewhere else. They were
- 2:44Speaker 3: straight expansion.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, then I started thinking Jaguars. But they have
- 2:48Speaker 2: been I believe the Jaguars were in a super Bowl
- 2:52Speaker 2: like the first couple of years of their existence.
- 2:55Speaker 5: The teams that have EVERFC championship, Okay, damn.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Ok So you've got the Browns, the Texans, and the Jaguars.
- 3:03Speaker 3: There's one more team that's never been. Wow, and they're
- 3:06Speaker 3: actually good.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Now Okay, now the Bengals have been thinking those Ohio teams.
- 3:16Speaker 2: The Bengals have been. The Jets have been. Uh, it's
- 3:22Speaker 2: really good.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Now.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Forty nine ers them and.
- 3:23Speaker 3: They Jets going sixty nine? Was that the guaranteed Joe
- 3:26Speaker 3: name of.
- 3:26Speaker 2: The victory Broadway Joe?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Okay, you just had a nickname. You didn't even what
- 3:31Speaker 3: we were talking about.
- 3:32Speaker 2: That's what they call them.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It's a good team, NFC team.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Good NFC team, The Eagles.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Traditionally a terrible team, but they're good now.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Commanders, I feel like they were.
- 3:48Speaker 3: The Redskins have won.
- 3:49Speaker 2: The Redskins have won. I mean, can you give me
- 3:54Speaker 2: a region? Give me a region North? Okay? Oh, the
- 3:59Speaker 2: Vice Kings know they've they've won.
- 4:02Speaker 3: The Vikings, I can give you their whole record.
- 4:04Speaker 6: They lost.
- 4:05Speaker 3: I'm going to give you their whole record here. The
- 4:06Speaker 3: Minnesota Vikings.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Oh, I got you, I got you.
- 4:10Speaker 3: And what's what is their record? Hold on? Who is it, Eddie?
- 4:13Speaker 2: It's the Lions.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It's the Lions.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and they talk about that too all the time.
- 4:17Speaker 3: The Vikings are owned four.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, when was the last time.
- 4:22Speaker 3: I don't have it purple, I don't have all that.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 3: So the four teams, this is a good trivia question
- 4:28Speaker 3: for anybody. Four teams that have never been are the Lions,
- 4:31Speaker 3: the Browns, the Texans, and the Jaguars. Teams that have
- 4:34Speaker 3: never won. The Cardinals they are and one that was
- 4:39Speaker 3: against the Steelers. Yeah that was the San Antonio homes
- 4:44Speaker 3: in the corner they catch in the end zone the Titans,
- 4:47Speaker 3: which they lost. But the issue there is did the
- 4:51Speaker 3: Oilers ever go? Okay? Because they are counting all that together.
- 4:55Speaker 3: I'm assuming the Chargers have never won their own one.
- 4:59Speaker 3: The Anthers are oh and two, they've been twice and
- 5:01Speaker 3: have one. The Falcons a row and two. The Bengals
- 5:04Speaker 3: are oh and three, And you have two teams at
- 5:07Speaker 3: oh and four. One's the Vikings and who's the other.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Do you know, Kevin, Yeah, you'll.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Know this one and four. There's two oh and four
- 5:17Speaker 3: super Bowl teams. This team lost all four in a row.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the Bills.
- 5:22Speaker 3: We were kids, so it really didn't resonate with us
- 5:24Speaker 3: as much being children when this happened. Can you imagine
- 5:27Speaker 3: being an adult now and watching a team go to
- 5:29Speaker 3: the Super Bowl four years in row and lose every year,
- 5:32Speaker 3: lose every year?
- 5:33Speaker 2: And that was the Jim Kelly Thomas.
- 5:35Speaker 3: They lost four Super Bowls in a row in the
- 5:38Speaker 3: wide right right, it was like the first one or
- 5:40Speaker 3: something close to the Cowboys up with that. Yeah, Bills
- 5:42Speaker 3: and Giants. The Cowboys got two wins. Maybe they lost it. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 3: it sounds Jets are want to know. Yeah, we mentioned that,
- 5:55Speaker 3: I want to know. The only perfect Super Bowl records
- 5:57Speaker 3: are the Jets and the same. It's at one to o.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Baltimore is at two to o. That has and both
- 6:05Speaker 3: of those had to be pre Browns because the Brown's
- 6:06Speaker 3: has never been because remember the Browns moved to Baltimore,
- 6:09Speaker 3: and then the Browns became a new team after that.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Oh, but then the Colts were Baltimore.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Right, yes, so the Colts were in Baltimore. The Colts
- 6:17Speaker 3: moved to Indianapolis. Baltimore did not have a team, The
- 6:20Speaker 3: Browns were in Cleveland. The Browns in the middle of
- 6:23Speaker 3: the night, moved to Baltimore. They ran all their trucks
- 6:26Speaker 3: in the middle of the night so they wouldn't be seen.
- 6:28Speaker 3: So then Cleveland didn't have a team. So you have
- 6:30Speaker 3: Indianapoles to the Colts, Baltimore with the Ravens, no Browns,
- 6:33Speaker 3: so they started expansion Browns when it used to be
- 6:36Speaker 3: the Browns. Wow, the Bucks and that's it. In the
- 6:40Speaker 3: top three, the Steelers are six and two, the Pats
- 6:43Speaker 3: are six and five. San Francisco and Dallas are five
- 6:45Speaker 3: and three, The Giants are four and one. Of the
- 6:47Speaker 3: Packers are four and one, the Chiefs are four and three,
- 6:50Speaker 3: and Reeds here. Now you're not late, dude, Well, so
- 6:52Speaker 3: Phil's hey, y'all doing.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Well, lot better than ready.
- 6:56Speaker 3: We started a bit earlier.
- 6:58Speaker 2: You're good.
- 6:58Speaker 3: We've only been off for like seven minutes. Yeah, I
- 7:00Speaker 3: was still early though technically we're not even at starting
- 7:03Speaker 3: call time right now. It's all you're fine, Yeah, let's go, Yeah,
- 7:06Speaker 3: let's rocket. How is your Valentine's weekend? Read? It was amazing.
- 7:09Speaker 8: We went to Saint Louis.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I don't know any of this, by the way, go ahead. Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 3: so we went to Saint Louis.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Dude, we went to the plan that trip? We did?
- 7:16Speaker 2: I plan it for Saint lo like Valentine's Day?
- 7:19Speaker 3: No, No, she was doing more romantic than Valentine's Saint Louis.
- 7:21Speaker 8: Yeah, No, she was doing a second look at the
- 7:24Speaker 8: residency program there. But we to be a doctor, yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 8: to be a doctor. We went to the City Museum.
- 7:30Speaker 8: If y'all have ever been, it's clearly for kids, but
- 7:34Speaker 8: it is a maze of tunnels and slides that lead
- 7:39Speaker 8: absolutely to.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Nowhere by the it's by the arch.
- 7:43Speaker 8: Uh maybe it's downtown. I'm not sure, but we But.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Did you like the museum? Yeah? It was great.
- 7:48Speaker 8: I used to go there as a kid, so I
- 7:50Speaker 8: was like, I'm gonna get his tickets. We're gonna go
- 7:51Speaker 8: see what it's like.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And so, did you guys do anything Valentini, Let's see.
- 7:56Speaker 8: We as soon as we got there, we went to
- 7:58Speaker 8: this like cocktail party thing the residency program put on fancy.
- 8:02Speaker 8: That's like the only thing we dressed up for other
- 8:04Speaker 8: than that.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I made a reservation, but.
- 8:06Speaker 8: We decided just to skip it in order takeout and
- 8:10Speaker 8: just have it delivered to the hotel room and just
- 8:12Speaker 8: watch a.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Movie that's probably better anyway.
- 8:14Speaker 8: That's literally what we did.
- 8:16Speaker 3: So and you stayed the whole weekend. Yeah, what else
- 8:18Speaker 3: do you guys do? So you went? You did the
- 8:19Speaker 3: doctor like hello, the welcome Did she like it?
- 8:23Speaker 5: She did like it.
- 8:24Speaker 3: She likes the program.
- 8:25Speaker 8: They pay a lot more than what Memphis would. But
- 8:29Speaker 8: still just trying to weigh out things.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I mean, the Low's cool, dude. I like Saint Louis
- 8:32Speaker 2: the lou that's what they call it.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I like Saint Louis better than Memphis.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Yeah, it's got the Southwest hub there that like, it's
- 8:39Speaker 8: My flight was forty two minutes from here to to Nashville.
- 8:43Speaker 3: But you also have to wait an hour in the airport.
- 8:44Speaker 3: That's drive half an hour to get there.
- 8:46Speaker 2: That's fair.
- 8:47Speaker 8: Yeah, it's an hour and a half drive longer. Yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 8: from Saint Louis to here than it is from Memphis.
- 8:52Speaker 3: That's all. Yeah, only an hour and a half five
- 8:54Speaker 3: and a half hours Saint Louis, that's it. No, it's
- 8:56Speaker 3: four and a half. Yeah, from here to Saint Louis
- 8:58Speaker 3: only four and a half hour drive.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Remember that time we were gonna fly. We had a
- 9:01Speaker 2: show in Saint Louis and we're gonna fly, but our
- 9:03Speaker 2: flight was delaying. We're like, we're gonna miss our show,
- 9:05Speaker 2: so we just drove. Yeah, so they I was four hours.
- 9:07Speaker 5: I am bad.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I went to sleep. I remember another cars. I went
- 9:10Speaker 3: to sleep.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You did do that?
- 9:11Speaker 3: Wow, I'm rooting for Memphis. You like Memphis? No, I
- 9:16Speaker 3: like Saint Louis better, but I like Memphis better for
- 9:18Speaker 3: Reid is closer and us because it's a bit closer.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I mean, I like Murphy's bro for read.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Hey, I agree that. So once you guys come back.
- 9:25Speaker 3: We got back.
- 9:26Speaker 8: I flew back yesterday morning, and she drove back to
- 9:30Speaker 8: Arkansas and then back to Monroe, Louisiana.
- 9:33Speaker 3: So I got back around eight thirty ish. She gets
- 9:35Speaker 3: to have some good U time. Yeah, like did you
- 9:37Speaker 3: know we see each other that often?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:38Speaker 3: No, it was great. It was awesome.
- 9:39Speaker 8: That's why we usually just choose to stay in and
- 9:42Speaker 8: eat food and.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Just like beat together. What movie did you watch? We
- 9:45Speaker 3: watched The Hangover to.
- 9:47Speaker 2: A solid, solid movie.
- 9:49Speaker 3: It was just what was odd. We really didn't choose
- 9:51Speaker 3: a movie.
- 9:51Speaker 8: It was just on the you know, the TV in
- 9:54Speaker 8: the hotel.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Eddie, how is your Valentin's day? What'd you do?
- 9:56Speaker 2: It was? It was perfect because you know, we have
- 9:58Speaker 2: four kids, Lewis, No we went to Memphis. No, uh,
- 10:02Speaker 2: you know, we have four kids, so like we we
- 10:05Speaker 2: just don't to get a babysitter. We've had a hard
- 10:07Speaker 2: time finding a babysitter. We've had five babysitters that have
- 10:09Speaker 2: quit on us because we have four kids, four boys,
- 10:12Speaker 2: and they don't quit. They just don't answer their phone.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So we don't really do babysitter anymore.
- 10:17Speaker 3: So you got gast, you get ghosted big time.
- 10:20Speaker 2: So uh, we just wait till they go to sleep.
- 10:22Speaker 2: My wife mentioned she wanted some steaks, so like I
- 10:24Speaker 2: went to Costco, bought some big old rabbis and I
- 10:27Speaker 2: grilled them while she was putting the kids all to bed,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and then we just had steak and wine. I picked
- 10:32Speaker 2: up a nice wine from Costco too, from Aspanya. Yeah,
- 10:36Speaker 2: and we watched a movie too. We watched an old
- 10:38Speaker 2: black and white movie, which is like the best.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Well, that's what you wanted to watch.
- 10:42Speaker 2: She likes them too. If I picked the right one,
- 10:44Speaker 2: she'll like it too, because I know you see a
- 10:46Speaker 2: black and white movie and you're thinking like, oh, this
- 10:48Speaker 2: can't be good, But if you look past that it
- 10:51Speaker 2: has no color, the storylines are pretty good. In some
- 10:54Speaker 2: of those movies they're not and I feel like they're
- 10:58Speaker 2: so romantic. Man, you got Hump Bogart.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And.
- 11:02Speaker 3: There's something romantic about the time that it was shot. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 3: we feel that way because everything was simple. But in reality,
- 11:11Speaker 3: people have polio, they have cameras, cameras with no color,
- 11:15Speaker 3: great depression. Yeah, yeah, Katie, what about you guys?
- 11:26Speaker 4: We rented a cabin in Gatlinburg. Actually, I actually woke
- 11:29Speaker 4: up today at four am to drive here to be
- 11:31Speaker 4: here on top when I'm dedicated.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Baby, when did you go out?
- 11:34Speaker 4: When did we drive up? Saturday morning?
- 11:37Speaker 3: So two nights the cabin did it have like all
- 11:40Speaker 3: the amenities or all the amenities. Yeah, it was somebody
- 11:43Speaker 3: you guys did another couple. Yeah, but we were we
- 11:46Speaker 3: were separate enough so it was nice. Yeah, but you
- 11:48Speaker 3: were comfortable enough. There was like friends. Yeah, a hot tub,
- 11:51Speaker 3: hot tub, a pool table? How do we feel about
- 11:57Speaker 3: hot tub? And just like bros? All bros and a
- 11:59Speaker 3: hot tub? No?
- 12:01Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 12:01Speaker 7: Not? Come on?
- 12:02Speaker 5: Man? How many?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Like?
- 12:04Speaker 4: It depends four days?
- 12:05Speaker 3: I say four bros to four bros in a hot tub? Like,
- 12:09Speaker 3: let's say us our crew, all five of us just
- 12:11Speaker 3: in a hot there's the hot tub at the hotel.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Do we all get it?
- 12:13Speaker 3: Because again, hotub is not as big as swim pool.
- 12:16Speaker 2: You're like bumping something.
- 12:19Speaker 5: We got long legs. Yeah, we've got a couple of
- 12:21Speaker 5: big guys. Man, I love that.
- 12:23Speaker 3: How do we feel about five dudes in a hot tub?
- 12:26Speaker 2: I love it? I think we should do it.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I guess the feeling is do you feel like you're
- 12:31Speaker 3: just in a hot tub? Or for some of you guys,
- 12:33Speaker 3: is that like too sexual? Do you make a hot
- 12:35Speaker 3: tub sexual in your mind?
- 12:37Speaker 2: I love it?
- 12:37Speaker 3: Man? You sexual? To read you, Eddie doesn't make you
- 12:42Speaker 3: It sounds like you don't make it sexual.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I like it. I just think we're hanging out or
- 12:45Speaker 2: drinking beers. Well not you bones, You'll have a virgin
- 12:48Speaker 2: pinut Colada and we'll just hang out in the hot tub.
- 12:50Speaker 3: The water's just hot. Same if we were just sitting
- 12:51Speaker 3: in a living room.
- 12:52Speaker 2: What's the problem?
- 12:53Speaker 3: Got it?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Read?
- 12:53Speaker 3: You be good with it? Yeah? No, no sexualness, Okay,
- 12:56Speaker 3: I'd be good with it. It would be no issue for
- 12:58Speaker 3: me because we'd all be in a swimm pool. But
- 13:00Speaker 3: would be that close. Maybe yeah, but I'm okay. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 3: I don't really think of it.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Eyes has a lot to factor in there, Kevin.
- 13:06Speaker 3: It feels like you wouldn't be down.
- 13:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think I would.
- 13:08Speaker 9: I think just somewhere or for him out as soon
- 13:11Speaker 9: as somebody touches somebody's foot or somebody like, no cool.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Guys, I'm out here, I'm out casey.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean yeah again, I think it's it's all
- 13:18Speaker 4: about the size, because yeah, it's small enough. I'm graz
- 13:20Speaker 4: and reed.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It's you know what I mean.
- 13:22Speaker 3: You definitely are touching other people, Like if you move around,
- 13:24Speaker 3: you're gonna touch like your foot's gonna hit her, your
- 13:26Speaker 3: allow because I think feet, I think feet's fine. Legs
- 13:29Speaker 3: legs a little different story.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Wrestle them with some.
- 13:32Speaker 8: Folks away, Like if you're if you're bumping kneecaps, it's
- 13:35Speaker 8: a little different.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Well, I don't want to.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Bum kneecaps even in a I mean anywhere. That's not sexual.
- 13:39Speaker 3: It's just no room. Yeah, that's fair.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Like you guys act like you can't just bump a
- 13:43Speaker 2: knee with each other, like it's.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Fine if they think they're gonna turned on.
- 13:47Speaker 5: An you can't to stand up and it's weird.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Valentine's Kevin, Yeah, we didn't do much.
- 13:52Speaker 9: Her mom was in town for the weekend, so we
- 13:54Speaker 9: just went out to dinner, had a nice dinner in
- 13:56Speaker 9: like midtown.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Area over here on Valentine's Night.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Valentine's Night. Yeah, I made that like two weeks in advance.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Two weeks in advance, and there's still like nothing out there.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Did you have to pay ahead of time? No, Oh,
- 14:06Speaker 3: that's nice. Most places were because it was a Friday night,
- 14:10Speaker 3: they were going pay ahead of time. That way, if
- 14:12Speaker 3: you bail out, we were not out the money for
- 14:14Speaker 3: holding the reservation.
- 14:15Speaker 5: But this place did have a system down. I'm not kidding.
- 14:17Speaker 5: You couldn't finish your food Okay, you're done, No, move
- 14:20Speaker 5: on to the next.
- 14:20Speaker 3: People like they wanted to.
- 14:21Speaker 9: Get people in and out, you know, And I was like,
- 14:23Speaker 9: all right, I guess we're done. But food is good,
- 14:25Speaker 9: service is good.
- 14:26Speaker 5: It was a nice night.
- 14:28Speaker 3: We just did gifts for the most part. So well,
- 14:33Speaker 3: I've got me some clothes and stuff, but I got her.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I was three different gifts, and every gift that she opened,
- 14:38Speaker 3: she had no idea. I've been planning a trip for
- 14:40Speaker 3: us for like the past month and a half, and
- 14:42Speaker 3: so she was like, what is this. So she opened
- 14:46Speaker 3: up like a thing of Sauer kraut, and then she
- 14:48Speaker 3: opened up this big pretzel, and then she opened up
- 14:53Speaker 3: a croissant and it was from like Aunt Annie's. It
- 14:57Speaker 3: was an old pretzel from like the day before. Because
- 14:58Speaker 3: I had to wrap them.
- 15:00Speaker 5: The mall yeah.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:04Speaker 2: So these were all messages, yes, croissant, a trip behind
- 15:11Speaker 2: the croissant. So either either you went to a French restaurant. Oh,
- 15:16Speaker 2: what's that French restaurant?
- 15:17Speaker 3: No no, no, no, I'm not asking where I got this stuff.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I'm asking what it means.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Yeah, where you're going? You can take her to the
- 15:23Speaker 2: what's that French restaurant? At the mall. It's usually attached
- 15:26Speaker 2: to the mall.
- 15:26Speaker 5: It's pretty good North Italian.
- 15:30Speaker 3: What do you think France? Yeah, in Paris, you went
- 15:33Speaker 3: to Paris. I'm taking her, I'm giving her a get
- 15:38Speaker 3: I'm taking her on it us her, it's us. But
- 15:42Speaker 3: I planned the whole thing.
- 15:43Speaker 2: That's good, It's it's a.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Couple of months away. But Germany Paris, well, there are
- 15:49Speaker 3: three different things, because everything in Europe is close.
- 15:53Speaker 2: La Madeline, That's what I was thinking.
- 15:55Speaker 5: You really held on to that.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Wow, So Paris Marie's and you're the one who got
- 15:59Speaker 3: sauer krap.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Oh, sour Kraut.
- 16:02Speaker 8: They got that in Italy.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I'm sure they have it there, but it's not worth
- 16:05Speaker 3: soauer Kraut.
- 16:06Speaker 8: Shoot, where you go?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Kevin just said it?
- 16:09Speaker 8: Oh you did Germany?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Yeah? And then Pretzel.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Okay, that's different.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Because all these are the original things. So when she
- 16:19Speaker 3: opened it at first, she was like, why'd you give
- 16:20Speaker 3: me sour kraut because she hates sauer Kraal and I'm
- 16:22Speaker 3: not a big fan either. And then yeah, Pretzel, they
- 16:25Speaker 3: got those in Persia. Where do you think of Persia?
- 16:29Speaker 5: I have no idea where Persiac.
- 16:31Speaker 4: I'm it's like a Bavarian pretzel, Varian.
- 16:38Speaker 8: Bulgaria, Belgium, Russia, Austria.
- 16:43Speaker 3: But they're all like, it's all like you Land and
- 16:46Speaker 3: you we've never I mean, I've been to Paris before,
- 16:48Speaker 3: but I've never been to other places. And you just
- 16:51Speaker 3: take a train to the next place just a few hours,
- 16:54Speaker 3: like basically here to Saint Louis. Literally pretty much it
- 16:56Speaker 3: is on the train. The train ride, so we go
- 16:59Speaker 3: Paris to someone in Germany, and then we go to
- 17:01Speaker 3: Austria and then we fly back here. That's awesome. So
- 17:05Speaker 3: all the gifts were confusing to her because she's like,
- 17:08Speaker 3: I hate so why do we have a pretzel?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Chris saw it.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and then finally she crossed. She's like, oh, because
- 17:13Speaker 3: the Croissan, I knew if you joke in at first
- 17:15Speaker 3: she would immediately think Paris that the other ones were
- 17:18Speaker 3: to mix it up a little bit. But yeah, that's
- 17:20Speaker 3: what that's that was a gift.
- 17:21Speaker 2: That's pretty cool.
- 17:22Speaker 3: It's pretty good. Well, we don't have four kids, right,
- 17:24Speaker 3: I mean, big difference, big difference, but yeah, awesome, we
- 17:28Speaker 3: don't have four kids. I was watching the Pillow Fight Championships.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Did you guys see any of this?
- 17:32Speaker 2: No?
- 17:32Speaker 3: Dude, it's wild, is this? No, it's dudes. Oh they're
- 17:36Speaker 3: going hard. No, that's you're thinking you're ting porn.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Well, I'm thinking of pillow fights like that, and that's
- 17:43Speaker 2: like you know girls saying slumber party pillow fights.
- 17:45Speaker 3: It's with real refs in a ring and these two
- 17:47Speaker 3: dudes have pillows and the ref calls that every time
- 17:50Speaker 3: they get smacked with a pillow, and it's like a
- 17:53Speaker 3: four minute round. One guy dressed up as a joker
- 17:55Speaker 3: and they were just killing each other with these pillows
- 17:58Speaker 3: and they have like, uh, brands on the pillows like
- 18:01Speaker 3: they're sponsors. It's a league thing whatever, whatever the brand
- 18:08Speaker 3: was on there, much like golf sponsors. Farther you go,
- 18:12Speaker 3: the more television time you get. If they it was
- 18:14Speaker 3: a tournament and it was on like ESPN News because
- 18:17Speaker 3: I was trying to watch the Arkansas basketball game and
- 18:19Speaker 3: I flipped over because they run that because they always
- 18:23Speaker 3: schedule their games bad on ESPN. The first part of
- 18:25Speaker 3: every game is on ESPN News because they do it
- 18:27Speaker 3: two hours for every game. So I watch, I'm watching
- 18:30Speaker 3: ESPN News and they go off that right into the
- 18:32Speaker 3: pillar Fight Championships and I'm like, what Is this a joke?
- 18:35Speaker 2: No.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I watched like three pillow fights and then it kind
- 18:38Speaker 3: of got old because you're just watching like one round.
- 18:40Speaker 3: But they there was a pillow fight tournament. Wow, I
- 18:42Speaker 3: watch it on. I think they're doing some of that
- 18:44Speaker 3: ESPN the.
- 18:45Speaker 2: OHO Ridiculous games.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yes, so I think that's one of them. But I
- 18:51Speaker 3: watched it and there were people there watching.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Like they had a crowd.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah. You ever watch like small town wrestling, like in
- 18:58Speaker 3: a cafeteria and there's like alreaty people watching around the
- 19:01Speaker 3: ring in town?
- 19:02Speaker 2: They have little guy wrestling, Well that's different. They have
- 19:05Speaker 2: a rive in my house and I drive by the sign.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I'm like, could be fun? I support that?
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah, well I mean if you go and support it. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 3: they're making money.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Now, they're they're they're making fun. That's what they're doing.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I agree, who run, But if you don't go.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Then they have to shut down and they can't make
- 19:27Speaker 2: fun of them.
- 19:27Speaker 3: They have to shut down, and possibly they can't make money.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I mean it's a fine line. I got't really know
- 19:33Speaker 3: how I feel because they're not forcing them to do it.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Like even my kids, like if they're in the car,
- 19:38Speaker 2: like we gotta go to that. I'm like, no, we
- 19:39Speaker 2: don't want to go to that.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not forcing them to do it. I don't
- 19:42Speaker 3: know how I feel I need to watch.
- 19:44Speaker 2: But but pillow fight it's pretty fun to watch.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Just talk about it for a second, Michael, take a break. Yep,
- 19:51Speaker 3: all right, take quick break. Come back. I watched some
- 19:59Speaker 3: of the All Star Game.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It was fun. Yeah, it was different. I thought it
- 20:03Speaker 2: was fun.
- 20:04Speaker 3: It was okay. I watched some of the skills competition
- 20:07Speaker 3: the night before, only some I did not watch. Uh
- 20:11Speaker 3: Whenby and Chris Paul get kicked out, So I watched
- 20:14Speaker 3: that in clips.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Yeah, kicked out of the arena.
- 20:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Well no, they were kicked out of the competition the skills,
- 20:20Speaker 3: and this had it been something I would have tried
- 20:21Speaker 3: for sure. They just tried to game the system. You
- 20:23Speaker 3: don't have to make the shots. So when they were
- 20:25Speaker 3: doing the past and they got to the shoot that
- 20:26Speaker 3: you shoot three of them, they started chunking the balls
- 20:28Speaker 3: as fast as they could. They asked every referee or
- 20:32Speaker 3: everybody that was like reffing the games that they could
- 20:33Speaker 3: do it, and they were like, well, we don't see,
- 20:34Speaker 3: this is against the rules. But then they kicked them out.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Of the competition.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Someone came up to them, yeah.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And Wenby took all the blame. He was like, yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 3: it's my dear, that's cool. That's just like a cheating
- 20:45Speaker 3: way that I think it wasn't cheating, but they were
- 20:49Speaker 3: like spirit of the Car. Yeah, they were like, we're
- 20:50Speaker 3: gonna go and kick you guys out, which I thought
- 20:52Speaker 3: was kind of funny. Slam Dot contest. Here's why everybody
- 20:56Speaker 3: thinks it sucks. First of all, they don't get any
- 20:58Speaker 3: big players. But back in the day, it was rare
- 21:03Speaker 3: that you would get national television time. If we're talking
- 21:06Speaker 3: about the dominiqu Wilkins, Michael Jordan, spud Web, it's Carter.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Even at the end of the d Brown, Vince Cart
- 21:15Speaker 3: all that time, it was rare that you would get
- 21:17Speaker 3: television focus on you. So these national player national brands
- 21:22Speaker 3: that are players, they would use that to pump up
- 21:25Speaker 3: their brands so they could get endorsements. And there wasn't
- 21:28Speaker 3: regional television where now you can watch on NBA Sunday
- 21:34Speaker 3: Ticket also known.
- 21:35Speaker 2: As the League Pass correct.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Or there's a decent amount of games on whatever the
- 21:41Speaker 3: play with tant so they don't need it as much.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Back in the day, those guys needed that national platform
- 21:48Speaker 3: because Sports Illustrated would do a whole thing and that
- 21:51Speaker 3: was a thing, So you're not. Also, the guys don't
- 21:54Speaker 3: want to be embarrassed now.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Which is pretty embarrassing if you can't make a dunk.
- 21:58Speaker 2: A couple of those guys couldn't make a dunk, and
- 21:59Speaker 2: it would very embarrassing.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yes, but that's why the guys don't want to do it. Now.
- 22:04Speaker 3: They're elite stars and if for some reason they can't
- 22:07Speaker 3: make one of these crazy dunk, it's not like they
- 22:09Speaker 3: can't make a dunk. It's one of these crazy dunks.
- 22:11Speaker 3: So why would they put themselves through that just to
- 22:13Speaker 3: be embarrassed and possibly not win? Like the culture has
- 22:16Speaker 3: changed as well. Matt McClung won again three times in
- 22:19Speaker 3: a row.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Unbelievable.
- 22:21Speaker 3: If he wasn't so small or white. I don't think
- 22:25Speaker 3: it would be as cool, really, because white people can't jump.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I didn't make that up.
- 22:29Speaker 2: It's a movie, yes, maybe two movies now.
- 22:33Speaker 3: And the fact that he's what six to two, yeah, six,
- 22:36Speaker 3: he's like a little white guy dunking and that's just
- 22:39Speaker 3: weird and different.
- 22:40Speaker 2: But has anyone ever jumped over a car. Maybe I
- 22:42Speaker 2: missed it.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yes, it's happened before, but not like that. But yeah,
- 22:46Speaker 3: Blake Griffin did it. He jumped over yah Akia as well.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Ye yeah, yeah sponsor.
- 22:52Speaker 3: But this one was a little more elite because Matt
- 22:54Speaker 3: McClung not as large and jumped it from the side
- 22:58Speaker 3: I think. And then it came around with the verse, right.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Was it a reverse.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Cio between the legs or something yet one of them
- 23:03Speaker 5: something different.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It's pretty amazing. He even tapped the even tap like
- 23:07Speaker 2: the rim like oh little again.
- 23:09Speaker 3: He's won three times in a row, but he doesn't
- 23:11Speaker 3: He's like, he's a two way player.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Does he play play?
- 23:16Speaker 3: He's a two way player. So most of the times
- 23:17Speaker 3: down the G League he's had a little bit of time.
- 23:21Speaker 3: He won it in a Philly uniform year one, in
- 23:24Speaker 3: the last two in Orlando uniforms. He doesn't play a
- 23:28Speaker 3: ton of minutes. How do we feel about Matt mcclon
- 23:31Speaker 3: continuing to be in the dunk contest?
- 23:34Speaker 2: I love it. To find the crown, I love it.
- 23:36Speaker 2: It's pretty. He's almost Joey Chessna at this point, you know,
- 23:39Speaker 2: like what he's doing, it's pretty amazing. And what I
- 23:42Speaker 2: don't understand is the people that are participating, like like
- 23:46Speaker 2: Stefan Castle, anyone.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Like, hey, he had an awesome dunk where the ball
- 23:50Speaker 3: came out of the net and he caught it after
- 23:52Speaker 3: it was made and dunked it. I'd never seen that before.
- 23:55Speaker 3: That's pretty legit.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And I think he had all fifties on that one. Yes, yeah,
- 23:58Speaker 2: but he got fifty not enough to Yeah, I guess
- 24:00Speaker 2: all fifties across the.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Board, right, yes, yeah, that's how it was, right yeah, yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 2: And then but but like everyone else, like bring a tank,
- 24:08Speaker 2: like bring ten motorcycles. If you know you're competing against
- 24:12Speaker 2: Matt McClung, who's gonna jump over a dude, do a
- 24:15Speaker 2: flip over a car whatever, like do something else other
- 24:17Speaker 2: than do like a m twist. Like it just doesn't
- 24:20Speaker 2: make sense to me that you would even try to
- 24:22Speaker 2: participate against Matt McClung knowing that that's how he rolls.
- 24:26Speaker 3: What are the rules? How many could you he had
- 24:27Speaker 3: to make? Inside?
- 24:29Speaker 2: Like you had time? You had forty seconds to make
- 24:31Speaker 2: your dunk.
- 24:32Speaker 3: See that's how it used to be. Yeah, you got
- 24:34Speaker 3: a dunk, and maybe you got one if he missed.
- 24:38Speaker 3: And I think that should be it. And I don't
- 24:40Speaker 3: even know how any he missed, because again I didn't
- 24:42Speaker 3: watch all of the Matt McClung none.
- 24:44Speaker 2: He never missed it missed one dunk.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I never I didn't watch.
- 24:47Speaker 2: It, and he didn't. I think he did them all once. Really, Yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 2: so he completed.
- 24:50Speaker 3: The first dunk completely. That's awesome.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Like there was a guy for the Bulls. I don't
- 24:54Speaker 2: know who he was.
- 24:55Speaker 3: It's like the home runery, though sometimes it's just too much,
- 24:57Speaker 3: too many pitches, too much time. They get yes, yea, yeah,
- 25:01Speaker 3: the same dunk, same thing I get. You can forty
- 25:02Speaker 3: seconds and they should get two turns. Yeah, if they
- 25:04Speaker 3: don't make the first one, they get a second time
- 25:06Speaker 3: and then they're done. What are we gonna say about
- 25:08Speaker 3: the guy?
- 25:08Speaker 2: No, he just missed all his dunks and then he
- 25:10Speaker 2: looked the clock in five seconds left, so he just
- 25:11Speaker 2: went from Milwaukee right and then he just went up
- 25:14Speaker 2: and just two handed. It just count me a dunk, please,
- 25:18Speaker 2: and they get him like some kind of point.
- 25:19Speaker 3: I watched some of the All Star Game. I don't
- 25:22Speaker 3: have any sort of I don't have any dog in
- 25:24Speaker 3: that fight. When it's like Shock versus Barkley Duck or Kenny.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Or Candice versus Kenny. Yeah, well, but I guess they
- 25:33Speaker 2: had a theme, right. It was like older players versus
- 25:36Speaker 2: the rookie, the younger players versus something.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Well that was just how they drafted. But the the
- 25:42Speaker 3: newer team, the young guys did have a team and
- 25:44Speaker 3: they had to like compete to be in it. But
- 25:46Speaker 3: then the rest they just drafted some of those guys.
- 25:48Speaker 3: But they should do like and I forget who the
- 25:50Speaker 3: Charger was, who was like we should have black versus
- 25:52Speaker 3: white Pro Bowl? Remember that liked get killed. Well, when
- 25:59Speaker 3: I'm saying people people don't care, like the All Star
- 26:05Speaker 3: Game is for companies and kids, people don't care. And
- 26:10Speaker 3: I don't root for Chuck or Shack. But if you
- 26:13Speaker 3: were to go SEC versus Big ten for and you
- 26:17Speaker 3: gave people something to actually like. I made a list here,
- 26:20Speaker 3: and who was to find the Steeler? Who it wasn't
- 26:22Speaker 3: Antonio Brown who said they should do football white players,
- 26:26Speaker 3: I think it was. And so it was everybody like
- 26:31Speaker 3: creating the best white team versus the best black team. Okay, cool,
- 26:37Speaker 3: I thought that's what it was, but I wouldn't bet
- 26:38Speaker 3: any money on it. So you could do white versus black,
- 26:43Speaker 3: whichuld be hilarious. Who would be on the white team, Luca?
- 26:51Speaker 8: Of the best four players in the NBA, right there,
- 26:54Speaker 8: What if they're mixed, they take their own team.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Nice like the Olympics, they picked to choose. Yeah, uh
- 27:03Speaker 2: well yeah, like Furry would pick right the mix.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah, he would definitely, Yeah, yeah, I guess, I guess,
- 27:15Speaker 3: so he would be on the all white team. Though
- 27:18Speaker 3: if you're only white because we don't have much, well
- 27:20Speaker 3: you're Mexican, Eddie, You're not even on our white team,
- 27:23Speaker 3: You're right, but you get that, you're you get the quarantine. Yeah,
- 27:26Speaker 3: because the varn team is gonna kill everybody. They're taking
- 27:28Speaker 3: white players.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I mean there's a lot of foreign player the.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Only white players are for play. Yeah, the Vincenzo Yeah, what.
- 27:36Speaker 3: About uh for the Celtics, Oh, tall guy, yeah, Prichard, Peyton, Pritchard, Yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 3: Porzingis Prichard.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Who's the who's the ball?
- 27:49Speaker 5: Luca Cornett.
- 27:51Speaker 2: He wears the Caruso caruso.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I think it would be
- 27:59Speaker 3: like like conference age, a separator from age race states,
- 28:08Speaker 3: like geographic. It just needs to be something because I
- 28:11Speaker 3: watched some of and I don't know anything about hockey,
- 28:13Speaker 3: but I watched some of the hockey Battle of the Nation.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah awesome.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and so we play Sweden coming up, and we're
- 28:22Speaker 3: already in the championship, probably against Canada, but again if
- 28:26Speaker 3: they win. But it was cool because everybody had like
- 28:29Speaker 3: their personal country country pride.
- 28:33Speaker 5: So you already said we and you don't even watch.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Hockey America though, man, that's how that's literally how I
- 28:38Speaker 3: felt America. So yeah, the All Star Game could use
- 28:44Speaker 3: a little bit of that treatment, like find something people
- 28:47Speaker 3: are passionate about. The race thing would be dicey, though.
- 28:51Speaker 3: I was just using the mid in all reference. That've
- 28:55Speaker 3: be hilarious. White people get killed.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Did you see Steph Curry during the half court? It's
- 29:00Speaker 2: like nothing or do he backward? Just sound like the
- 29:02Speaker 2: pregame during though during the game, he just hit a
- 29:04Speaker 2: half court for fun, like not not a buzzer beater,
- 29:07Speaker 2: just for fun. And then he just jumped a floater
- 29:10Speaker 2: from the three point line and made it like that.
- 29:11Speaker 3: He was just making everybody. So I got MVP. I
- 29:13Speaker 3: was flipping between that. I was watching SNL fifty as well.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I didn't watch that, Mike, do you watch that.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I watched the first hour all the way through.
- 29:20Speaker 3: I watched the whole thing you did. Yeah, I couldn't.
- 29:24Speaker 2: How long was it?
- 29:25Speaker 3: I don't know, three hours hours over three hours because
- 29:28Speaker 3: it went seven supposed to go seven to ten, which
- 29:30Speaker 3: is when your local news starts, but they went past ten,
- 29:32Speaker 3: ten thirty.
- 29:33Speaker 6: It was going to finished.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Oh cool. They had Steve Martin come out and do
- 29:37Speaker 3: the opening monologue. It's pretty funny, and they had other
- 29:41Speaker 3: famous people come out during it. Like they gave him
- 29:43Speaker 3: some time to do some jokes, which is perfect. And
- 29:46Speaker 3: then like Martin short came out and they brought Ice
- 29:49Speaker 3: to get him off because he's Canadian. Steve Martin couldn't
- 29:51Speaker 3: get him off. They had Ice remove him, which is
- 29:53Speaker 3: kind of funny. But they started with Sabrina Carpenter and
- 29:58Speaker 3: Paul Simon.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Paul Simon, I saw that they sang together they did.
- 30:01Speaker 2: What did they sing?
- 30:02Speaker 3: He was pretty old?
- 30:04Speaker 6: He sounded old.
- 30:05Speaker 3: I know.
- 30:05Speaker 4: I felt I love Paul Simon too.
- 30:07Speaker 3: What did he say? I don't did I'm a blur.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I was trying to consume so many things last night.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 3: I thought that she was a little too new to
- 30:17Speaker 3: be in the very first opening sketch. It was a
- 30:19Speaker 3: weird opening because she's just now famous and this is
- 30:23Speaker 3: celebrating fifty years. But again, that's what they're known for,
- 30:27Speaker 3: finding the most relevant thing and throwing it up there,
- 30:29Speaker 3: and she's super famous.
- 30:30Speaker 2: But I saw post Malone and Nervan.
- 30:34Speaker 3: That's the concert two days prior unless because they didn't
- 30:36Speaker 3: do any music last night except for Paul Simon, right.
- 30:39Speaker 6: Lil Wayne was there?
- 30:40Speaker 5: Did he play?
- 30:41Speaker 6: Yeah, Paul McCartney played it very nice, kind of sprinkled in.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Throughout then two nights before they had the concert, which
- 30:48Speaker 3: they had bits like Lady Gaga did Die in a
- 30:51Speaker 3: Box with Andy Sandberg, post Malone did with Nirvana. I
- 30:54Speaker 3: thought it was really good.
- 30:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Was that the one where was Will Ferrell doing? Is
- 31:00Speaker 2: there Kendrick?
- 31:01Speaker 8: Oh?
- 31:01Speaker 7: Yes?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Him and that sketch where he's like, get the ball
- 31:03Speaker 3: head and the piano.
- 31:04Speaker 2: They're like a duo.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, it's good a minor.
- 31:09Speaker 7: Yes.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I only watched that and clips on TikTok the concert,
- 31:14Speaker 3: but I watched on Peacock the first hour and ten
- 31:18Speaker 3: minutes of the SNL fifty. It's crazy it's been around
- 31:21Speaker 3: fifty years. Yeah, I mean it has been a live
- 31:25Speaker 3: longer than anybody on the show has. Yeah, by a
- 31:28Speaker 3: significant amount of years.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I did when did you start watching? Like, who was
- 31:33Speaker 2: Sandler Sandler?
- 31:35Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's when we were kids, I guess.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Yeah, the Sandler years, like Sandler Chris Rock.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I kind of remember being a little kid and seeing
- 31:43Speaker 2: John Lovett's on there. Yeah that's the ticket, remember that one. Yeah, Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 2: that's the ticket.
- 31:50Speaker 3: I know it because I've seen a bunch of like SNA.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I don't know if I remember seeing it live.
- 31:54Speaker 2: That might have been like just mid eighties or something,
- 31:56Speaker 2: being like six years old.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it was massive. We were kids, but every single
- 32:01Speaker 3: cast is the worst cast ever basically. Yeah, but it
- 32:05Speaker 3: was good. I mean, if you're an SNL fan, I
- 32:07Speaker 3: did watch the SNL movie Saturday Night Oh yeah, what
- 32:09Speaker 3: you think? I think if you were a fan of
- 32:12Speaker 3: Saturday Night Live, you would have liked it. I think
- 32:14Speaker 3: if you weren't, you probably wouldn't have because there's anybody
- 32:17Speaker 3: else watch it, Okay, because it's so much inside baseball,
- 32:22Speaker 3: meaning I wonder what Dan Acroyd was like. But I
- 32:25Speaker 3: know who Dan Acroyd was, and I know his career
- 32:28Speaker 3: on SNL as a Blues brother as an actor after So,
- 32:33Speaker 3: like the Blushi stuff was interesting because they had all
- 32:36Speaker 3: these people and it was almost like one consistent It wasn't,
- 32:39Speaker 3: but it was like one consistent shot running through in
- 32:41Speaker 3: the couple of hours before the first episode, like that's
- 32:43Speaker 3: the whole movie, that's right, Mike, very chaotic. Guess. Yes,
- 32:46Speaker 3: So it's the very first episode and it's them doing
- 32:49Speaker 3: a lot of explaining as to why it's happening, but
- 32:51Speaker 3: through scenarios and so the people that played the first
- 32:55Speaker 3: show are like sound checking and like Andy Kaufman's we
- 32:57Speaker 3: I talked about on the show last week, Andy Coffman's
- 32:59Speaker 3: like trying to get his record player, and Jim Hanson
- 33:02Speaker 3: who's got the muppets and they're in the first episode,
- 33:06Speaker 3: but you're learning about the characters through how they're getting
- 33:08Speaker 3: ready for the first episode, and like I didn't know
- 33:10Speaker 3: Belushi was like a real serious actor who was like
- 33:13Speaker 3: this is nuts. I didn't want to do this.
- 33:14Speaker 2: This is John Belushi.
- 33:15Speaker 3: John Belushi. Yeah, So yeah, I thought it was good.
- 33:19Speaker 6: I think I love it just because I still watch
- 33:21Speaker 6: s and know every single week that it's on New
- 33:23Speaker 6: So it was cool getting to learn that history of it.
- 33:25Speaker 6: So I've just been a big SNL fan my entire life.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Like, there's a couple of minutes for Belly Crystal's character
- 33:30Speaker 3: is like all neurotic backstage as they're putting up, like
- 33:33Speaker 3: what the sketches are going to be, and he's like, ah,
- 33:36Speaker 3: like all I can do is four minutes, you know,
- 33:37Speaker 3: I can do less for minutes? What do you wanna?
- 33:40Speaker 3: So you're seeing you're seeing all of them be young, yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 3: and it's giving you a piece of what they were
- 33:45Speaker 3: all like when they were brought on it nineteen twenty
- 33:48Speaker 3: twenty one, twenty two, twenty three years old. However old
- 33:51Speaker 3: they were.
- 33:51Speaker 2: What's the Chevy Chase.
- 33:53Speaker 3: He's massive, and he's probably the biggest yeah yeah, biggest character.
- 33:56Speaker 2: He kind of a jerk. Yeah yeah, that's kind of
- 33:59Speaker 2: what people.
- 34:00Speaker 3: That's super funny. Yeah, but like has the skills because
- 34:05Speaker 3: he was tall and good looking and funny and so
- 34:09Speaker 3: he just had a lot of confidence.
- 34:11Speaker 6: And probably had the most success from that generation post
- 34:14Speaker 6: SNL like in movies.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and Billy Crystal is pretty big.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but Chevy Chase and they allude to him, and
- 34:22Speaker 3: they weren't even acting like it was all super accurate
- 34:27Speaker 3: to that night, but like Chevy Chase has a guy
- 34:29Speaker 3: come up to him and it's like it's you're you're
- 34:32Speaker 3: the next guy, Like, you're the guy you're gonna be
- 34:34Speaker 3: at This show's fine, but you're gonna be the next
- 34:36Speaker 3: And he ends up, you know, hosting Late Night and
- 34:39Speaker 3: being a fill in for Carson and getting his own
- 34:41Speaker 3: show and his own so it like alludes to a
- 34:44Speaker 3: lot of things. So it was good for me. I
- 34:48Speaker 3: would give it like four out of five, but like
- 34:50Speaker 3: my wife, who does not watch SNL, two and a
- 34:53Speaker 3: half out of five because I don't think she would
- 34:56Speaker 3: have liked it, because I think that was for people
- 34:58Speaker 3: who knew who they were watching and they were just
- 35:01Speaker 3: getting more backstory on thoughts.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Mike, Yeah, I would agree with that. I'm probably at
- 35:04Speaker 6: a four with you as well. But my wife watches
- 35:06Speaker 6: this and now with him right now, but doesn't know
- 35:08Speaker 6: the history of the show, so it's kind of lost
- 35:09Speaker 6: with it.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you needed and it ends because I don't think
- 35:14Speaker 3: it matters where it ends. This is not a where
- 35:16Speaker 3: it starts and where it ends right now, where it
- 35:19Speaker 3: ends is the very first sketch on the of the
- 35:22Speaker 3: whole series, Like they do before they No, they do
- 35:24Speaker 3: the very first sketch on that snl Ever had and
- 35:29Speaker 3: then it cuts out.
- 35:30Speaker 2: What was that sketch?
- 35:31Speaker 3: It's language learning a language? Is Belushi learning a language?
- 35:37Speaker 3: And he's like, the guy's like, the wolverine will leach
- 35:41Speaker 3: your fingertips, and he's like, the wolverine will lead your fingertips.
- 35:45Speaker 3: And then the guy has he's like repeating everything, and
- 35:47Speaker 3: then he has a heart attack and falls off, and
- 35:48Speaker 3: then she thinks that's part of it, so he has
- 35:50Speaker 3: a heart attack, it falls off. Funny, very rudimentary sketch comedy.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I love it.
- 35:54Speaker 6: Yeah, they shared a clip of that on the special
- 35:55Speaker 6: last night they did. It was funny that they also
- 35:57Speaker 6: did a montage of all like the questionable things they
- 35:59Speaker 6: did over the years, like oh, like the questionable like race, makeup. Oh,
- 36:03Speaker 6: they did a whole They did a whole montage of like, oh,
- 36:06Speaker 6: like the jokes they made, the accents they did.
- 36:08Speaker 5: I was surprised they did that.
- 36:10Speaker 3: I was surprised that Ryan Reynolds was there and then
- 36:12Speaker 3: made the joke about himself and I thought that was
- 36:13Speaker 3: pretty good. He was like, oh, he stood up, and
- 36:16Speaker 3: there were like Tina Fean and Amy Polo were answering
- 36:19Speaker 3: questions and they were like Ryan Reynolds and he stands
- 36:22Speaker 3: up because everybod's answering questions and he's like, they're like,
- 36:24Speaker 3: how are you and he's like why what have you heard?
- 36:27Speaker 3: They're both there, Yeah and him likely were there and
- 36:30Speaker 3: it was funny. I saw. I think I turned it
- 36:32Speaker 3: off when they were doing the digital short with Andy
- 36:37Speaker 3: Samdberg about anxiety.
- 36:39Speaker 6: Everybody on SNL worked on SNL had anxiety. Anxiety and
- 36:42Speaker 6: ibs funny.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Yeah, So yeah, I thought was good for what I watched.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I'll watch more clips of it today. Any highlight mic from.
- 36:50Speaker 6: You anything with Eddie Murphy because he went away for
- 36:52Speaker 6: so long and then it took him forever to come
- 36:54Speaker 6: back and host, so I think getting to see him
- 36:56Speaker 6: in sketches again, it's like, oh, he's still funny.
- 36:58Speaker 3: When they did Black Jeopardy and Eddie Murrh was Tracy
- 37:00Speaker 3: Morgan next to Tracy Morgan who was playing a random person,
- 37:04Speaker 3: I got it. It was so funny because Eddie Murphy
- 37:06Speaker 3: was being Tracy Morgan next to Tracy Morgan who was
- 37:09Speaker 3: playing a different character. Like that was super funny. Who
- 37:13Speaker 3: do you think is done? The most seasons ever on snlity.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Uh keenan by far Yeah, because I feel like he's
- 37:19Speaker 2: been on there forever.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Like thirty eight seasons or something. I don't remember the
- 37:22Speaker 3: actual number, but it's in the thirties something like that.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Who do you think is number two? I'm going from memory.
- 37:29Speaker 8: Gosh, Bill Hayter, m j oh.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I don't know that is.
- 37:36Speaker 3: I think he's in the thirties. And there's one other
- 37:38Speaker 3: person in the thirties. You won't give this one. You'll
- 37:41Speaker 3: know who it is. It's Hammond, John Darrell, Daryl Hammond.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Yeah, gosh, he was there with like Sandler and all them,
- 37:50Speaker 2: Darryl Hammond.
- 37:51Speaker 4: The impressions I think, right something did he do a
- 37:53Speaker 4: lot of people? I think so are like Al Gore? Yeah,
- 37:56Speaker 4: he was doing the President.
- 37:57Speaker 2: What was your favorite? What's like? What's your favorite SNL skit?
- 38:00Speaker 3: When Sandler would sing opera like opera sure anything, anytime
- 38:03Speaker 3: Sandler would get guitar and sing. I mean, that's why
- 38:05Speaker 3: I was wanted to do like music, because I knew
- 38:07Speaker 3: I couldn't sing. But Adam Sandler can sing, but he
- 38:10Speaker 3: doesn't sing hard on purpose because he wants to do jokes.
- 38:14Speaker 3: But yeah, the Sandler stuff was the best.
- 38:16Speaker 6: Yeah, he did a song last night. He's gotten to
- 38:18Speaker 6: be like a better singer now.
- 38:19Speaker 3: He was singing.
- 38:20Speaker 6: I was like, oh, he can actually hit some notes now,
- 38:21Speaker 6: and he can play.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I'm telling you, I watched him do something in the
- 38:24Speaker 3: nineties because my algorithm is heavily snl old clips, and
- 38:30Speaker 3: so I watched him get up and sing something from
- 38:33Speaker 3: in like the nineties, and he gets up and he's
- 38:35Speaker 3: like a song for you, Adam Chandler, and then he
- 38:42Speaker 3: starts to sing for real and he goes hard and
- 38:44Speaker 3: everybody's like, what the crap, and then he goes oh.
- 38:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Sandlor was my favorite because of that.
- 38:52Speaker 6: I think my favorite sketch is Chris Farley down in
- 38:55Speaker 6: the vand by the River.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I saw a monta a physical comedy and
- 39:01Speaker 3: that was one of them where he kept jumping through
- 39:02Speaker 3: tables and they had all the characters, yes, and they
- 39:06Speaker 3: were showing all the physical comedy, or at least a
- 39:09Speaker 3: lot of it through the years. Dude, some of that
- 39:10Speaker 3: stuff hurt me to see.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 6: Chevy Chase was like known for his fall.
- 39:13Speaker 5: Apparently he would fall like it like it was a
- 39:15Speaker 5: dead body.
- 39:16Speaker 3: And they started saying, Okay, well, how are we going
- 39:18Speaker 3: to fall this week? And they made it to a
- 39:19Speaker 3: bit it's like, I'm not falling this week, boom fall.
- 39:22Speaker 3: But then Mary Catherine Gallagher, you know, she's the schoolgirl
- 39:25Speaker 3: with smelling armpicks, how she would jump into the chairs
- 39:29Speaker 3: because she would boom, she fall into the chairs.
- 39:31Speaker 2: I got to watch this, so yeah, I liked it.
- 39:34Speaker 3: We don't watch all of it. And I started reading
- 39:35Speaker 3: a book, a new book, just a general book. I
- 39:39Speaker 3: don't I don't remember the names of the song titles
- 39:40Speaker 3: or books. So I started a new book last night
- 39:43Speaker 3: by the same person who did I don't remember the
- 39:45Speaker 3: other book.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Oh so you're saying you don't know the title of it. Okay, no,
- 39:49Speaker 2: you want to give a synopsis.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Yeah. At the very first she sends an email. No,
- 39:55Speaker 3: a past student of her sends an email. It's like, hey,
- 39:59Speaker 3: I know you don't respond a lot of emails, but
- 40:01Speaker 3: I just wanted to reach out. My mom died. Just
- 40:02Speaker 3: updating you. And then she sends one back and goes, hey,
- 40:04Speaker 3: I used to don't respond to a lot of emails
- 40:07Speaker 3: because she's seventy, and she's like, but I saw this
- 40:11Speaker 3: and felt like I needed to. And then now she's
- 40:13Speaker 3: writing the email, she's like, you know what I read
- 40:15Speaker 3: about your mom? Want to tell you a story? And
- 40:16Speaker 3: so the whole story is about her responding to the
- 40:19Speaker 3: email being telling a story to make him feel better.
- 40:22Speaker 3: But she's like in her seventies, I don't know, I
- 40:24Speaker 3: can find you. Theme of the book, it's pretty good.
- 40:26Speaker 3: I read like fifty pages last night.
- 40:27Speaker 2: How did you come across this book?
- 40:29Speaker 3: It's called The Life Impossible? He wrote the Midnight Library
- 40:33Speaker 3: and I read that and I liked it. I didn't
- 40:36Speaker 3: know that I would. I don't even really Okay, Look,
- 40:39Speaker 3: sometimes I say I don't like musicals, but the ones
- 40:41Speaker 3: I watch end up liking A lot of that was awesome.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I could list like five of them where I'm like,
- 40:46Speaker 3: I'm not really a musical guy, but man, get me
- 40:48Speaker 3: in Wicked. I mean all of them to show me,
- 40:54Speaker 3: and I'm like, the music is not for me, dude.
- 40:56Speaker 3: I the awesome Greece. I was in Greece in high school.
- 41:02Speaker 3: So and then I'm like, I'm not a fiction guy
- 41:05Speaker 3: because I like to read books where I feel like
- 41:07Speaker 3: i'm learning. But man, any of the fiction books I read,
- 41:11Speaker 3: they're awesome. But this one's called The Life Impossible by
- 41:15Speaker 3: Matt Haig and it came out late last year. Yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 3: so that's why I did. And then I read that.
- 41:22Speaker 3: I fell asleep for a little bit.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Reading Make You Sleepy. Yeah, me too.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Like I'm trying to read the Bible in two years
- 41:32Speaker 2: and I literally like get through one page and I'm.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Like, that's also written. Are you reading it like written?
- 41:37Speaker 2: No, No, I'm reading the g Dog Bible, the g
- 41:40Speaker 2: Dog where it's like yo, yo, Jesus, you are I
- 41:43Speaker 2: have to. I can't understand the other one, the g
- 41:46Speaker 2: Dog that's what I call it. I call it, I
- 41:48Speaker 2: don't know, I'll say it to you. It's called something.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Written for youth to understand.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's like so Jesus got the wine and
- 41:55Speaker 2: he's like telling his friends, telling his buddies, the disciples, like, hey, guys,
- 41:59Speaker 2: the blood. It's the only way I can understand it.
- 42:04Speaker 3: That's fair.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but it might take me more than two years
- 42:06Speaker 2: at that face.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but you could like, why don't you read some
- 42:09Speaker 3: of that then read a book in between.
- 42:11Speaker 2: No, I'm already asleep that point. Like I'm telling you,
- 42:14Speaker 2: I just started like a different night, Oh, alternate a
- 42:17Speaker 2: little bit.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Like you could read the Bible yeah Monday and
- 42:21Speaker 3: read a bit of a book on Tuesday, or do
- 42:22Speaker 3: both in a day. You could read a book in
- 42:24Speaker 3: the daytime all the time for that reading books, and
- 42:27Speaker 3: I don't I go through seasons big time. I'm not
- 42:30Speaker 3: all your book reader. I think I read fourteen books
- 42:32Speaker 3: last year. My wife read like forty, So I'm I
- 42:37Speaker 3: don't even win to my house, So I'm not big
- 42:39Speaker 3: always read a book guy. But I'll do fourteen books
- 42:41Speaker 3: in like four and a half months, and then I
- 42:44Speaker 3: just I'm like, I don't want to read. I want
- 42:45Speaker 3: to get on Twitter or watch TikTok. Right right, I
- 42:48Speaker 3: definitely have seasons. But when I start to when my
- 42:51Speaker 3: vernacular is limited, I'm like, I gotta start reading books
- 42:54Speaker 3: again because I don't know that many words.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Are you book guy?
- 42:57Speaker 1: Though?
- 42:57Speaker 2: Like, if you really get into a book, are you
- 42:59Speaker 2: taking it everywhere you go?
- 43:00Speaker 3: It's really hard for a book to be that good.
- 43:04Speaker 3: So I read all my books on an iPad. So
- 43:07Speaker 3: if I'm like getting my old change or something, I
- 43:09Speaker 3: just read it on my phone a little bit because
- 43:10Speaker 3: of cloud. So it looks like you're just on your phone,
- 43:12Speaker 3: So I don't really take a book. No, I'm gonna
- 43:14Speaker 3: say no because it's rare. I would, but it's rare
- 43:18Speaker 3: that a book gets me like that. May That library
- 43:21Speaker 3: was good. The Changing All Stars that was really good.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Is that a movie? No, it probably will be though
- 43:27Speaker 2: sounds familiar.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it was awesome. It's okay, So we watched US
- 43:31Speaker 3: and now we watched All Star Game. We read some books.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Back to the All Star Game real quick? Did you
- 43:36Speaker 2: see just kind of how emotional everyone got. I didn't
- 43:39Speaker 2: realize they've been doing that show, the Chuck and Shaq
- 43:42Speaker 2: and Kenny and Ernie for like, does this seem like
- 43:45Speaker 2: thirty years?
- 43:47Speaker 3: Definitely, But they're not. They're all coming back. I saw
- 43:49Speaker 3: Shack signed.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Yeah, oh well they're all. I mean, Jayles Barkley was crying.
- 43:53Speaker 4: Maybe it was before they got the news.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I don't know when did the news come in after
- 43:58Speaker 2: the game?
- 43:59Speaker 3: I saw Shaq had signed like a couple of days ago.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Because even like Kevin Hart.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Maybe somebody looked that up because it was going away
- 44:07Speaker 3: because tant lost basketball right, lost the rights, right? But
- 44:10Speaker 3: then it's I think they're still keeping that show.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Yes, and Kevin Hart gave them like a bunch of
- 44:15Speaker 2: fishing gear and tackle boxes because like, you guys are done,
- 44:18Speaker 2: you're retiring.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Like, oh, I don't know, I could I could be
- 44:21Speaker 3: missing on this. I thought Shack just re signed. I
- 44:23Speaker 3: thought they were coming back.
- 44:24Speaker 5: Yeah, Shack on the Mountain's Day sign a new deal,
- 44:26Speaker 5: it says, with T and T Sports.
- 44:28Speaker 3: So that show is not coming back, though.
- 44:30Speaker 2: I guess the Cold Group's not. The group's done.
- 44:32Speaker 3: I don't know, this says.
- 44:33Speaker 9: The news means the cast of Inside the NBA is
- 44:36Speaker 9: staying together even as T and T is set to
- 44:38Speaker 9: license out.
- 44:39Speaker 3: So why were they crying? Edibles California?
- 44:42Speaker 9: Maybe?
- 44:42Speaker 2: Yeah, man, those things are strong. Wow. They even did
- 44:44Speaker 2: a whole montage video of all their years together.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Maybe it was like a thirtieth Maybe it was TNTs.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I think saying goodbye to them and.
- 44:54Speaker 5: They probably you know, they get to know the producers
- 44:56Speaker 5: and everybody there, so it's emotional for it.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Okay, that makes sense moving ESPN ESPN.
- 45:01Speaker 3: But the show isn't. Is it is the show?
- 45:05Speaker 5: The show?
- 45:05Speaker 9: The guys are moving to ESPN, it says, But that
- 45:08Speaker 9: doesn't make sense because Shack agreed to a deal with
- 45:09Speaker 9: T and t Yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 3: I don't even care that much.
- 45:13Speaker 2: I was confused.
- 45:14Speaker 5: It's taking million a year.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Take a break, Mike, yep, all right, we're back. How
- 45:24Speaker 3: about this top five stadiums in the NFL, Eddie go
- 45:29Speaker 3: Number one Cowboys Stadium? What he called at and T
- 45:33Speaker 3: that did not make the list? I'm sorry? What casey?
- 45:37Speaker 2: Oh?
- 45:38Speaker 3: So they so they got San Francisco forty nine one
- 45:42Speaker 3: Levi that's in the worst NFL stadium that Titans? Yeah no, no,
- 45:48Speaker 3: so Usa toda and you come out with a list
- 45:50Speaker 3: of the highest and lowest rated stadiums in the league.
- 45:52Speaker 2: What oh okay, so FI has got to be on there.
- 45:55Speaker 3: So they ranked them on a lot of things like
- 45:59Speaker 3: game atmosphere, your food. It's just a general rating overall.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Eddie go again, so far, so far isn't the top
- 46:09Speaker 3: the worst five? What really? Yeah? So far is third
- 46:13Speaker 3: from last. It looks so a two point nine out
- 46:16Speaker 3: of five average rating. That's the Rams and Chargers. Do
- 46:18Speaker 3: you want to take a shot here? We got a
- 46:20Speaker 3: little Caesars that one. Are you talking about Caesar's Caesars Dome?
- 46:24Speaker 2: That's cool?
- 46:24Speaker 3: I also thought alstot Caesar don't So that's not on
- 46:27Speaker 3: the list, No, no, no, casey top five stadiums in
- 46:30Speaker 3: the NFL.
- 46:31Speaker 4: How about Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 46:33Speaker 3: That would be a creature acreasure.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Yeah anymore.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Yes, it's the number three four point three average, right.
- 46:42Speaker 2: It is, Vie, it's gotta be vibe.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Part of it is.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Yes, I'm gonna go amosphere the Seahawks is that lumen?
- 46:47Speaker 3: Lumen is a number five? Yeah, looks the other twelfth
- 46:50Speaker 3: man or the first twelfth man.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you mean that?
- 46:54Speaker 3: The first? Well Texas a and m.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Oh that that's that that tradition goes along guys.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, okay, So the Seahawks are number five
- 47:02Speaker 3: or the four point one. The Steelers are number three, Eddie.
- 47:06Speaker 2: I mean the Eagles stadium looks pretty cool.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Oh, I think I got one read.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 47:15Speaker 3: I was gonna say Falcons is gonna say a bird?
- 47:18Speaker 3: It feels yeah, no wrong, go ahead, you got it,
- 47:21Speaker 3: Lamba Yeah, number one yea four point seven. Number two
- 47:26Speaker 3: isn't so much famous, but I think it's a mixture
- 47:32Speaker 3: of both, Like it's the ViBe's pretty good, but also
- 47:36Speaker 3: it's kind of new Dolphins.
- 47:39Speaker 2: I've been there.
- 47:40Speaker 3: I saw a Super Bowl there.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Oh, oh okay, Lucas Oil.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Yes, Indianapolis Lucas Oil number two, four point four. The
- 47:48Speaker 3: Steelers are number three, Denver Empower Field at Mile Highs
- 47:52Speaker 3: at number four, and number five is Lumen. The worst
- 47:55Speaker 3: stadiums the Commander Stadium Northwest and they're trying to get
- 47:59Speaker 3: that thing moved, move it to somewhere else. That's the worst.
- 48:02Speaker 3: LEVI is it second to worst so far? Hard rock
- 48:05Speaker 3: for the Dolphins.
- 48:06Speaker 2: So fine, that's maybe you could just stale in there.
- 48:09Speaker 3: It's probably because it is it's exactly that, very generic
- 48:13Speaker 3: because it looks like really beautiful and met life. The
- 48:15Speaker 3: Jets and Giants at number five.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I had to be in there.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Titans five. Yeah, it's that bad.
- 48:20Speaker 3: Really? Yeah? Is it because it's old.
- 48:22Speaker 4: It's just old, and just like where it is in
- 48:24Speaker 4: relation to like New York, Like it's out in Jersey
- 48:27Speaker 4: and it's hard to get to and you know, the
- 48:29Speaker 4: turf sucks. They always get hurt all the time, all
- 48:31Speaker 4: the athletes. So it's just it's not a good time
- 48:33Speaker 4: for anybody.
- 48:34Speaker 3: A suggestion by someone who is not a New York
- 48:37Speaker 3: sports fan, because you can tell me if there is
- 48:39Speaker 3: a local traditional reason I'm wrong. Why don't they dome
- 48:43Speaker 3: that thing? Why don't they put out a dome? Because
- 48:44Speaker 3: I don't like, if you were to go to the Packers,
- 48:46Speaker 3: you don't want dome that that's an advantage. They're known
- 48:48Speaker 3: for playing in the element. They should. I don't really
- 48:51Speaker 3: know the Jets or the Giants is being like we
- 48:53Speaker 3: got the elements, come mess with us.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:55Speaker 4: I think met Life was built right before all these
- 48:58Speaker 4: like hybrid stadiums were built something, so like I just yeah.
- 49:02Speaker 2: And they have a cat problem, don't they Like don't
- 49:04Speaker 2: they Like I was watching the game with the cat
- 49:06Speaker 2: ran out like a lot of cats in the stadium.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Well, how would you feel about the Patriots doming it up?
- 49:10Speaker 3: Because I do think of them more so as a
- 49:12Speaker 3: cold weather team. Yeah, but not as like hard nose
- 49:15Speaker 3: cold weather as the Packers, not as board the Bears
- 49:19Speaker 3: like that. Those are hard nose cold weather teams that
- 49:22Speaker 3: I would be weirded out if they got a dome.
- 49:24Speaker 5: I think early on the Patriots he really thought about that,
- 49:27Speaker 5: like the Peyton Manning days when he would lose in
- 49:29Speaker 5: New England, it was in the snow usually, But I
- 49:31Speaker 5: think the cold is definitely in their favor. I'd like
- 49:33Speaker 5: to keep them.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Sing them outside.
- 49:34Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 3: The hard thing about that is you have to go
- 49:36Speaker 3: sit in it.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm not saying I'm going to the game, but.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I love that stuff.
- 49:42Speaker 3: I know Buffalo man, I did, right, Oh, Buffalo no
- 49:46Speaker 3: dome like part of the appeal to Buffalo as it hurts.
- 49:49Speaker 5: They're new one. I think that they're building. I think
- 49:51Speaker 5: it's both though, right, I.
- 49:52Speaker 3: Don't know, retractable, but even like going to Arkansas games
- 49:55Speaker 3: like I want to don't and we're not even we're
- 49:57Speaker 3: not even the North. It's the college to have domes
- 50:01Speaker 3: like one, right, yeah, because some of them play in
- 50:03Speaker 3: multi use facilities.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Well they'll play like in Atlanta, Syracuse says a dome,
- 50:07Speaker 2: Carr Dome. Yeah wow yeah.
- 50:10Speaker 3: So it's probably fewer and far between, but I think
- 50:14Speaker 3: some of the places probably play in places that are
- 50:16Speaker 3: also used as other But I mean Arkansas games, I
- 50:21Speaker 3: just sit in the suite now. I'm if I didn't,
- 50:25Speaker 3: I wouldn't go. I would being forty four now and
- 50:28Speaker 3: an adult and having television do what it does. I'm
- 50:31Speaker 3: not going to a game of set in the cold.
- 50:33Speaker 3: It doesn't matter the game. I'm not going to go
- 50:34Speaker 3: to a gamus in the cold, Yeah, that would you
- 50:37Speaker 3: rather do the sweet or the field? Like McConaughey, Well
- 50:40Speaker 3: depends what the weather is it cold, No, just normal day,
- 50:43Speaker 3: normal day. I can't bounce back and forth.
- 50:47Speaker 2: McConaughey doesn't bounce.
- 50:48Speaker 3: You don't know that.
- 50:48Speaker 2: You know the whole time they show him the whole time.
- 50:50Speaker 2: He's given high fives as the players. He's in there
- 50:52Speaker 2: when the team's huddling, he's he's got a head.
- 50:56Speaker 3: The cowboy as I mean, I've done both. I think
- 51:00Speaker 3: once you do the field thing a couple of times,
- 51:03Speaker 3: you've done it a couple times, you can't only see
- 51:04Speaker 3: anything down there. Well, even you have to if you're
- 51:09Speaker 3: gonna be like a non player. There's a certain line
- 51:12Speaker 3: like you can't get in the middle of the coaches
- 51:14Speaker 3: and you can't get up front. If you do, you're
- 51:15Speaker 3: behind everybody. So I'm gonna go sweet. But much like
- 51:19Speaker 3: going to a super Bowl, once you go to a
- 51:22Speaker 3: super Bowl or two, you're like, okay, i've been if
- 51:24Speaker 3: it's not my team, I've seen everything surrounding it. Maybe
- 51:28Speaker 3: you go to a second but you're like, I've done
- 51:30Speaker 3: the thing, I've checked it off. The list. Kind of
- 51:32Speaker 3: that same situation that's with a field.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, been there.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Until you do it, you're probably gonna go be on
- 51:37Speaker 3: the field, be awesome, And it is until you do
- 51:39Speaker 3: it once or twice and you can't see anything. It's
- 51:41Speaker 3: like sitting front row at a concert. Certain concerts sucks
- 51:45Speaker 3: because you're way too close the speakers are shooting behind you.
- 51:49Speaker 3: But until you're in one of those situations where you're
- 51:51Speaker 3: on the very front and it's just miserable. Why because
- 51:55Speaker 3: you're six inches from a foot, like a literal human foot,
- 51:58Speaker 3: You're you're really not getting anything. Yeah, so you want
- 52:02Speaker 3: to be like twelve rows back, you want, you know,
- 52:04Speaker 3: but you have to do that a couple of times,
- 52:06Speaker 3: so you know. Once I went to a Chris Rock
- 52:08Speaker 3: show in Atlanta Theater, Big Theater. Love Chris Rock. So
- 52:11Speaker 3: I was like, we're in. We got front row seats,
- 52:13Speaker 3: paid the good money. I don't. I rarely pay for
- 52:15Speaker 3: tickets at this point in my life. I just have
- 52:17Speaker 3: so many friends that do music or our promoters or
- 52:20Speaker 3: do promotion for like my stand up shows, and are like, yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 3: we'll get you. I paid for these tickets Chris Rock
- 52:24Speaker 3: front row, and it was the chairs up front, but
- 52:28Speaker 3: I couldn't hear anything except what was coming from his
- 52:30Speaker 3: mouth because the speakers were going behind us.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Oh weird.
- 52:32Speaker 3: So I had to like turn my head and listen
- 52:34Speaker 3: to his mouth tell the jokes the whole time.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's comedy. You want to hear what he's saying.
- 52:38Speaker 3: It was terrible. I was close again, I was right
- 52:40Speaker 3: by his foot.
- 52:42Speaker 2: You can see him sweat a little bit.
- 52:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but but I had to listen. I couldn't really
- 52:46Speaker 3: get it from the speakers. I had to, like, he
- 52:48Speaker 3: had to hear him say it from his mouth. It sucked.
- 52:51Speaker 3: And I was like, man, I paid all this money
- 52:52Speaker 3: for these tickets. And this blows seven more women of
- 52:56Speaker 3: accused Ravens kicker Justin Tucker of sexual misconducts. A total
- 52:59Speaker 3: of sixteen women now have accused him of exposing himself
- 53:02Speaker 3: and other inappropriate behavior to Baltimore area's spas. That's from
- 53:05Speaker 3: page six.
- 53:07Speaker 2: I did see his defense come out and say like
- 53:10Speaker 2: he was never banned from those spas, there was never
- 53:13Speaker 2: any complaints from those spas, and he continued to go
- 53:16Speaker 2: there for years after, which is just kind of weird
- 53:19Speaker 2: that if that stuff was going on they didn't complain
- 53:22Speaker 2: about him and then get him kicked out of those spas,
- 53:26Speaker 2: which I don't know that's the defense talking. That could
- 53:28Speaker 2: be an attorney making stuff right who.
- 53:29Speaker 3: I would think though too that you know, it's a
- 53:33Speaker 3: powerful athlete, famous, big team. I don't think that's reason
- 53:39Speaker 3: enough to not at least listen to what everybody has
- 53:41Speaker 3: to say. And once the number gets to like sixteen,
- 53:44Speaker 3: it's a lot. Even if like eight are lying, the
- 53:51Speaker 3: numbers are still there. That's tough. And again, we don't know,
- 53:54Speaker 3: we weren't there. But if it turns out they didn't know,
- 53:57Speaker 3: all these people didn't know each other, it's that's a
- 53:59Speaker 3: tough to bounce back from sixteen different people. Travis Kelcey
- 54:03Speaker 3: given a thirty day deadline to decide on retirement.
- 54:05Speaker 5: That's weird.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Why well they have to decide if, oh, contracting money? Why? Yeah,
- 54:10Speaker 3: because he's owed.
- 54:11Speaker 5: I thought the chiefs are like, hey, you got thirty
- 54:13Speaker 5: days making your mine.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Mostly it's about the money, Yeah, that makes sense. He's
- 54:18Speaker 3: owed like fifteen millionaires some I'm going from memory here,
- 54:22Speaker 3: decent chunk of change. Yeah, And so if he's going
- 54:24Speaker 3: to be a role player and come back, he would
- 54:25Speaker 3: want to restructure his deal. They'd want him to definitely
- 54:28Speaker 3: has to do that. Of the hockey game match whatever
- 54:31Speaker 3: it was last night. I don't know what do you
- 54:32Speaker 3: call hockey match? Your game? So a match? Got games?
- 54:35Speaker 7: Right?
- 54:35Speaker 3: Oh?
- 54:36Speaker 2: Hockey match sounds right?
- 54:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it's gotta match.
- 54:38Speaker 3: You can tell we're not hockey guys.
- 54:39Speaker 2: And you know you're just using a sentence and it
- 54:41Speaker 2: sounds normal, and that's it.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a hockey match.
- 54:43Speaker 6: Oh, I don't know hockey MATCHI match sounds definition.
- 54:47Speaker 2: It is a match.
- 54:47Speaker 3: It is a match. There you go. They had three
- 54:49Speaker 3: fights in the first like ten seconds. Now, I didn't
- 54:51Speaker 3: turn it out the very beginning. I turned it on.
- 54:53Speaker 3: I was flipping through a bunch of crap, but I
- 54:54Speaker 3: didn't see the fights. So I got on TikTok and
- 54:56Speaker 3: saw that the fights at the very beginning and.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Two brothers, right, the kachucks.
- 55:00Speaker 3: The brothers were fighting the ticket cocks.
- 55:03Speaker 5: It's like, yeah, you say it, chuck kuld chuck. But yeah,
- 55:06Speaker 5: it's like a t c h something awesome to cook.
- 55:09Speaker 2: And they were the ones fighting, not each other.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Oh right there, that would be cool. But they're playing
- 55:16Speaker 5: for the same country, so they're not fighting.
- 55:17Speaker 2: It got it, dang. I also saw too that locally
- 55:22Speaker 2: there was like a storm or something so that the
- 55:25Speaker 2: weather kind of took over and they put hockey in
- 55:27Speaker 2: a little box and people were complaining about it, like
- 55:29Speaker 2: we don't care about those that's what happened to tornadoes.
- 55:32Speaker 9: My my fiance was like, you're watching the news. I
- 55:34Speaker 9: was like, no, you see a little screen in the
- 55:36Speaker 9: bottom of that. I'm trying to watch hockey.
- 55:38Speaker 2: M Yeah, but I mean, you know, tornado is kind
- 55:41Speaker 2: of more important to hockey.
- 55:42Speaker 3: You ever see the people that like the Bachelor's on
- 55:45Speaker 3: and tornado warning comes on and the news is to
- 55:48Speaker 3: come to be like stop calling us complaining about taking
- 55:50Speaker 3: on the Bachelor, like we're saving people's lives.
- 55:51Speaker 2: When I worked for the news, like it's a real thing,
- 55:54Speaker 2: people would call you don't have Jeopardy on. I watched
- 55:57Speaker 2: it every day to say.
- 55:58Speaker 3: The American hurdle because of storm.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Because of breaking story that we were doing whatever.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that doesn't really happen as much with streaming because
- 56:06Speaker 3: it's not local, So I would you guess I'd be
- 56:08Speaker 3: watching a streaming more than I wout a local affiliate.
- 56:10Speaker 3: At this point, YouTube TV we almost had a disaster there.
- 56:14Speaker 3: Do you guys use YouTube? Awesome? So they almost lost
- 56:17Speaker 3: all their paramount, which was NCAA Basketball, Uh, March Madness Masters.
- 56:24Speaker 3: They did a deal to keep them on for a
- 56:25Speaker 3: bit longer as they negotiated. But it feels like this
- 56:27Speaker 3: is happening on every cable system, every everything, all the time.
- 56:30Speaker 3: And when it ever. I just got Amber alert. You
- 56:32Speaker 3: gotta get on your phone.
- 56:33Speaker 2: I just felt something.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Let's speaking of breaking news is nope?
- 56:37Speaker 2: Oh got it? Kingsport, Tennessee. What are they looking for? Read?
- 56:51Speaker 2: She's in St. Louis.
- 56:53Speaker 3: They almost lost Uh, they almost lost all those channels
- 56:56Speaker 3: that have been a disaster. Yeah. YouTube TV is awesome. Yeah,
- 56:58Speaker 3: because the four boxes watching sports from March Madness. Don't
- 57:04Speaker 3: the four boxes for anything? I mean, NFL. If you
- 57:07Speaker 3: have the NFL Sunny Ticket, you can watch the four games.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Can you do like four reality shows?
