  Yesterday, we had an amazing conversation because it was National Prayer Day.

  We must take a few steps forward. What I want to talk to you about today is

  something that I think a lot of us can understand.

  And that is the people that think they can sneak up and steal our joy.

  So the title today is Don't Allow Anyone to Steal Your Joy. And how do we do that?

  I can recall being in a sales environment where I was in sales for over 11,
• 2:36
  15 years in one company. I was moved to another location and I had worked with a young lady.
• 2:43
  And after a while, I noticed that her demeanor, her attitude and her way of
• 2:48
  working with me had changed, changed in a negative environment.
• 2:53
  And I remember approaching her and said, did I do anything wrong?
• 2:57
  And she said, no, you're perfect. You're always happy. Oh, you're Mr. Jolly Golly.

  And I was like, where did that come from? Because I truly am the same person
• 3:06
  as you hear me and see me now off the, you know, when I'm not on the clock or
• 3:11
  when I'm not on the airwaves or I'm not recording.

  So anyway, eventually we found out that the young lady decided to leave our department.
• 3:19
  And my manager pulled me in and said, she called you an anomaly.
• 3:23
  Now, for those of you who don't know, it's, that's just like saying,
• 3:26
  saying that, you know, that you're someone that eventually you,
• 3:32
  you just don't, you don't change.
• 3:34
  You're always the same person and there's gotta be something wrong with them.
• 3:38
  So I thought that was very interesting. So fast forward, right?

  Many of us, thank you very much. Many of us that are in the working environment,
• 3:47
  the working industry or in the social media industry will find that people make
• 3:53
  comments, will come after us just because they want to get a rise out of us.

  Some people get, well, I guess I'll just put it this way. They get off on our misery.

  Here's what I want you to understand. You ever heard of the armor of God?

  If you have heard of the armor of God, then you will know that we all wear and
• 4:18
  are protected by the armor of God. I know what you're thinking.

  Oh my goodness, he's preaching again. No, I'm stating a fact.

  We all wear the armor of God. You see, God protects us.

  God keeps us protected. And you're saying, well, if he protects me,
• 4:36
  why am I getting hit with all these daggers?

  When was the last time you spoke with God? When was the last time you said,

  God, there's only so much I can take. God, I need your assistance.

  God, I am struggling. God, there is a cloud over me and I feel like the thunder,
• 4:53
  the rain, everything you can think of, hail is hitting me. Why?

  It is okay to talk to God that way. It is okay to yell up God and say,

  hey, what's going on, man? Are you forgotten about me?
• 5:07
  How come, what is the problem?

  People think you have to go in and start saying, man, you know,
• 5:13
  heavenly father. No, look, I talk to God just like I'm talking to you.

  That's the relationship that I have with him. I say, God, you know something?

  I need your assistance. I can't do this by myself. I'm struggling.

  Many of you that just realized, you know, this past Sunday, I was hospitalized. I had chest pain.
• 5:32
  I thought I was having a heart attack. The ambulance came, they picked me up
• 5:36
  and it was a kidney stone.
• 5:38
  But in that short moment, I thought about all the things that was happening to me.
• 5:43
  And in a matter of a second, when I realized, wait a minute, I'm protected by God.
• 5:49
  I wear the armor of God.
• 5:52
  Just like that name, Fearless Angel, I felt no fear. Can I say this to all of you this morning?

  Anyone can come on TikTok. Anyone can go on any platform and say to you,
• 6:05
  hey, you wear the armor of God.

  This is what I want you to understand. Just because you don't see the armor
• 6:13
  of God, just because you don't feel the armor of God, doesn't mean it's not there.

  If you don't believe that God has protected you, I'm telling you he's doing that right now.

  Yesterday, I gave out my cell phone number. Why do I do that?

  Because I mean what I say. When I tell you that you need prayer,

  you need someone to talk to, you reach out.

  And I was so blessed with so many of you that reached out to me for prayer.

  I met Emily through TikTok. I met her sister, Erin.

  These to embrace me. And when I was at my lowest, they didn't realize how much they inspired me.

  They didn't realize how much they made me a better person.

  And I remember talking to Emily, and I won't get into her personal situation,

  but I remember telling Emily, something good is going to happen for you.

  God doesn't answer prayers immediately, but when he does answer those prayers,

  you know that he has been watching over you.

  And I know for a fact that Emily has been truly blessed with an amazing family,

  an amazing husband, an amazing sister, and God has performed miracles around her and her family.

  And I am honored and privileged to call her my sister in Christ,

  and a very deeply great friend.

  When you go out into the world today, everyone, don't allow anyone to steal

  your joy. When you're doing a TikTok event.

  Yeah, they do come in too. She had twins. When you go out into the world and

  you say to yourself, I can't do anything.

  Stop what you're doing and say this.

  I will do everything because I am with my heavenly father who is protecting

  me, who is guiding me and he's putting me in the path of righteousness.

  It don't matter what religion you believe in. I believe in all religions.
