Speaker 1: Well, the book that we're going to talk about right

Speaker 1: now has a title, and I'm sure you've heard the

Speaker 1: title before. It is Fade to Black. Ordinarily, that's a

Speaker 1: It's a fade to black, and it's time for the

Speaker 1: commercial or something. But you apply this term to what's

Speaker 1: going on in society today.

Speaker 2: You're right. It is a term from the entertainment industry.

Speaker 2: You're sitting in a movie theater. You're watching the movie.

Speaker 2: You're engrossed in the film. And then all of a sudden,

Speaker 2: as the film winds down, the screen fades to black

Speaker 2: and then the credits roll. And so we really do

Speaker 2: believe that in terms of Satan's attempt to take over

Speaker 2: the world, things are getting darker and darker. Of course,

Speaker 2: Adrian Rogers pointed out many years ago, they're getting gloriously dark.

Speaker 2: And I love that term. But it is fading to black.

Speaker 2: And so in the book, we go through several characteristics

Speaker 2: of the spirit of the Antichrist, which is alive and well,

Speaker 2: according to 1 John 4, 3. and setting the stage

Speaker 2: for the coming one-world global tyranny.

Speaker 1: This is a very interesting time to be alive. We

Speaker 1: have global television. We have people who, the movers and

Speaker 1: shakers of the world, sit down in front of a

Speaker 1: camera with a little audience maybe, and they tell us

Speaker 1: what they're doing and what they're not doing, what they believe.

Speaker 1: We have one special individual who is constantly trying telling us,

Speaker 1: I'm talking about our current president, and he's constantly telling

Speaker 1: us what's coming and what he would like to do.

Speaker 1: Very open, very honest. And yet people are scratching their

Speaker 1: heads and saying, wait a minute, wait a minute, what

Speaker 1: is happening exactly? And your book is aimed directly at

Speaker 1: that question.

Speaker 2: Absolutely. Yeah. I'm not sure how honest they are because

Speaker 2: they're all, many of these globalists and global leaders are

Speaker 2: part of a, broader conspiracy to take over the world,

Speaker 2: even if they're not aware of how high up it

Speaker 2: goes in this cosmic battle between God and Satan. They

Speaker 2: very much are trying to usher in a global one

Speaker 2: world political, religious and economic system. And to the extent

Speaker 2: that Satan is the one sort of guiding this Luciferian conspiracy,

Speaker 2: we know he's a liar. If his lips are moving,

Speaker 2: he's lying. Everything that comes out of his mouth is

Speaker 2: a lie. And so the first thing I get into

Speaker 2: in the book is the spirit of pretense. And we

Speaker 2: talk about how you really can't believe anything you hear.

Speaker 2: Very seldom are things as they really appear. And they're

Speaker 2: deceiving the world. And that, of course, is paving the

Speaker 2: way for the great deception that will take place after

Speaker 2: the rapture when the Antichrist takes the helm.

Speaker 1: Now, it should be no surprise to us that there's

Speaker 1: a lot of strife in one area in the world today,

Speaker 1: and that's the Middle East. And we're talking about, of course,

Speaker 1: Israel and then Israel. Iran is at the top of

Speaker 1: the news these days. But in general, the Middle East

Speaker 1: is coming alive in various ways that we might not

Speaker 1: like to see. Things are looking more and more grim

Speaker 1: every day. And I guess we shouldn't be surprised about this,

Speaker 1: given what we have in the Bible.

Speaker 2: Not at all. Yeah, I'm reminded of one of my

Speaker 2: mentors who I had as a professor, John Walvard, years ago,

Speaker 2: wrote The Middle East Meltdown. And I'm wondering what he

Speaker 2: would think today. If it was a meltdown then, it's
3:50
Speaker 2: just even worse today. But it is exciting because you're right, Gary.

Speaker 2: We see in Scripture all the different data points that

Speaker 2: talk about nations like Russia, Turkey, Syria, Persia, or Iran,

Speaker 2: and so forth. And now these are the nations that

Speaker 2: are in the news every day. And it clearly is

Speaker 2: geopolitically setting the stage for some key end times prophecies

Speaker 2: such as Ezekiel 38 and 39 and others like that.

Speaker 2: So I believe, Gary, that America has to be kind

Speaker 2: of taken out of the way. And we know this

Speaker 2: both biblically as well as from the testimony of the

Speaker 2: Luciferian elite themselves. They've been trying to bring down America

Speaker 2: for 100 years now. They think America is the one

Speaker 2: nation standing in the way of a true new world order.

Speaker 2: And so It is interesting that we see a lot

Speaker 2: of things happening in the last couple of years, which

Speaker 2: is what I address, the time period I address in

Speaker 2: the book, with the technocracy movement, with battles with Iran

Speaker 2: and Venezuela and overtures toward Greenland and Canada. There's just

Speaker 2: a lot of things happening that seem to be shifting

Speaker 2: away from national sovereignty and towards, at best, a regionalization

Speaker 2: and ultimately a globalization of the world.

Speaker 1: The introduction in the book has a question. Why should

Speaker 1: we care about the rise of the Antichrist? There's a

Speaker 1: lot of conversation among people who study Bible prophecy about

Speaker 1: the Antichrist, exactly Where will he arise? From what power group?

Speaker 1: What will he be doing? Is he possibly recognizable? We

Speaker 1: hear a lot of that talk today, and you open

Speaker 1: your book with that thought.

Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole premise, rise of global tyranny, is that

Speaker 2: one man is ultimately going to take the helm of

Speaker 2: world control. And of course, tyrants are nothing new. We've

Speaker 2: had tyrants throughout 6,000 years of human history, and many

Speaker 2: of them have conquered certain parts of the world, even

Speaker 2: a couple of continents, but no one at this point

Speaker 2: has ever conquered the entire world. But that's what's coming.

Speaker 2: The Antichrist, the Bible tells us, will have full spectrum

Speaker 2: planetary control. And, you know, I don't have to tell

Speaker 2: you I'm a, you know, diehard dispensational pre-tribulational theologian in

Speaker 2: my perspective of what the God's word teaches. And I've

Speaker 2: dealt with that elsewhere. But what's interesting, Gary, in this book,

Speaker 2: I do address in the outset the fact that for

Speaker 2: the stuff we're talking about now in terms of stage setting,

Speaker 2: it doesn't matter what your view is. I hope you're pre-tribulational,

Speaker 2: but it doesn't matter. You're still going to face some

Speaker 2: of this if the Lord tarries. So it's just a

Speaker 2: matter of degree. The only thing the Bible promises is

Speaker 2: that the church will not be present on earth during

Speaker 2: the outpouring of God's wrath in that final 70th week

Speaker 2: of Daniel, the seven year period. First, that's 110. First,

Speaker 2: that's five nine. We know we're going to be rescued

Speaker 2: before the great day of the Lord's wrath, but we

Speaker 2: don't know when the rapture is going to happen. So

Speaker 2: we could be here as all of this begins to prepare.

Speaker 1: And we're seeing a rise of somewhat scary technology in

Speaker 1: the arena of war, in the arena of mental gymnastics. AI,

Speaker 1: I think, has a lot of people scared about how

Speaker 1: it can possibly rise to the point of controlling society

Speaker 1: at every level.

Speaker 2: Yeah, and they should be scared because we've had technology

Speaker 2: for quite some time. And I've written about and we've

Speaker 2: talked about and you've had guests on that have talked

Speaker 2: many times about data centers and your bit buckets and

Speaker 2: how they're harvesting data from social media. But what's changed

Speaker 2: in the last few years is the ability to be

Speaker 2: able to harness that data, to access it in real time.

Speaker 2: And that's what AI gives you is the power to

Speaker 2: be able to access all that data. So again, if

Speaker 2: you go back to scripture, Revelation 13, the beast and

Speaker 2: the false prophet are going to control the whole world.

Speaker 2: Everyone on earth at that time will have to either

Speaker 2: take the mark of the beast or face the wrath

Speaker 2: of Satan. And so you wonder, Satan's not omniscient, he's

Speaker 2: not omnipresent, neither are his evil celestial beings. How is

Speaker 2: he going to be able to see everyone at once

Speaker 2: and control everyone at once? Well, AI and technology and

Speaker 2: embodied AI and all of that gives him the ability

Speaker 2: to feign omnipresence. It won't be real omnipresence but he'll

Speaker 2: be able to monitor i call it hacking tracking and

Speaker 2: bushwhacking everybody on planet earth you know.

Speaker 1: Yes they're kind of humorous there except as we think

Speaker 1: about it it's not really very humorous however the wonderful

Speaker 1: part of this is that our lord through his prophets

Speaker 1: to expect during these days and uh That's why we're here.

Speaker 1: I want to talk about the style of this book. Now,

Speaker 1: we talked a little about the content. But, you know,

Speaker 1: I read a lot of books. I mean a lot

Speaker 1: of books. I'm reading all the time. And I love books.

Speaker 1: And particularly when they're written in a way that is

Speaker 1: not difficult to understand. And this book pulls you along.

Speaker 1: You've got a style. Almost... You put information in the

Speaker 1: form almost of a novel, a very exciting novel. You

Speaker 1: pull things along. And your book talks in an exciting

Speaker 1: way about what we can expect to happen in the

Speaker 1: near future. Yeah.

Speaker 2: So the template was pretty simple. Several years ago, I

Speaker 2: went through the Bible and looked at every verse in

Speaker 2: the Bible that deals with the Antichrist. And I started

Speaker 2: making notes of the characteristics of this future world dictator.

Speaker 2: and then having written down everything I could find in

Speaker 2: And so I just started looking and sure enough, we did.

Speaker 2: into power, pride, pretense, persecution, perversion, pluralism, and the one

Speaker 2: world system. Just every aspect that you can think of.

Speaker 2: And I come from academics years ago. That's how I

Speaker 2: got my start. And I've learned, I think, over the

Speaker 2: years to, you know, to write for a more broad audience,

Speaker 2: you know, not a lot of footnotes and technical jargon

Speaker 2: and all that. Yeah, that's fine for some context, but

Speaker 2: I want to get the message out and I want

Speaker 2: people to be able to latch on to it and

Speaker 1: Well, having read your book, I can tell you it's

Speaker 1: not quote unquote academic, which translates into the word boring.

Speaker 1: It's not boring. And I'm going to, one of your

Speaker 1: chapters has to do with what appears to be the

Speaker 1: steady unveiling of information concerning UFOs or UAPs or whatever

Speaker 1: you want to call them these days. And you give

Speaker 1: us an entirely new way of looking at that phenomenon.

Speaker 1: Talk about that.

Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of my favorite subjects, of course, you know,

Speaker 2: a favorite of yours as well. We actually have had

Speaker 2: you on our show to talk about that. But yeah,

Speaker 2: ufology is in the news big time the last 10

Speaker 2: years since the New York Times article in 2017. Some

Speaker 2: of us have been studying it through the lens of

Speaker 2: Scripture for many years already, but it seems like these

Speaker 2: days you can actually talk about it and it's sort

Speaker 2: of mainstream. Now the problem is the secular world and

Speaker 2: governments and congressional committees and they're all looking at it

Speaker 2: through a secular lens of little green men from another planet,

Speaker 2: you know, Zeta Reticuli.

Speaker 1: And they are in the process of a systematic information release, right?

Speaker 2: Oh, no doubt. It's all propaganda. So where are we going? Well,

Speaker 2: we're going towards disclosure. So that's the biggest chapter in

Speaker 2: the book. I call it the spirit of phenomena, and

Speaker 2: we deal with disclosure. And I actually walk through several

Speaker 2: key dates in just the last year. And by the way,

Speaker 2: the book came out June 4th of 2026. And some

Speaker 2: of the citations in there that I quote are from

Speaker 2: two weeks before it went to print. We were literally

Speaker 2: going back in and adding late breaking news because there's

Speaker 2: just so much happening. So it's very recent, very current.

Speaker 2: But we walk through in the last year key dates

Speaker 2: that have happened that, as you just said, tip their

Speaker 2: hand that they're leading us to something. And I think

Speaker 2: it's part of a great deception. They're normalizing and marginalizing

Speaker 2: the whole alien concept so that after the rapture, the

Speaker 2: Antichrist can get on the world stage and can say,

Speaker 2: all these Christians that just disappeared, that was these benevolent

Speaker 2: aliens doing us a favor, and they've been abducted and

Speaker 2: good riddance, or whatever he's going to say. But the alien.

Speaker 2: Agenda will be a convenient pretext for him to explain

Speaker 2: the rapture.

Speaker 1: Well, right now, the common thought is, and the common

Speaker 1: propaganda from the world governments, is that these are benevolent

Speaker 1: people traveling here. They are superior beings traveling here with

Speaker 1: superior technology from far, far, far away places, from another galaxy,

Speaker 1: zeta reticuli, whatever it is. They're coming here, and they're

Speaker 1: coming here to help us.

Speaker 2: Yeah, let me be very clear. They are not benevolent.

Speaker 2: They are demonic. They are evil. Satan does not want

Speaker 2: what's good for humanity. He wants to destroy humanity. He's

Speaker 2: a killer. Jesus said he was a murderer from the beginning.

Speaker 2: And so this phenomena is real. The question isn't, is

Speaker 2: it real? The question is, what are they? And what

Speaker 2: we do in the book is take you through a

Speaker 2: biblical lens and explain the spiritual aspect of this battle

Speaker 2: in the unseen realm. It is real. And as things

Speaker 2: are heating up on earth, they're heating up in the heavenlies.

Speaker 2: We know from Ephesians 6 and many other passages that

Speaker 2: the battle is not just with flesh and blood. The

Speaker 2: Luciferian conspiracy to take over the world involves three components. Satan,

Speaker 2: his earthly accomplices, the Luciferian global elites, but it also
18:27
Speaker 2: includes a third component, and that is the evil angels

Speaker 2: that are working at his behest.

Speaker 1: I want to go back to the title of the book.

Speaker 1: It's called Fade to Black. That's a movie term, and

Speaker 1: You know, you're sitting there with your popcorn and so forth,

Speaker 1: and the screen actually does fade to black. And it
18:44
Speaker 1: leaves you thinking a lot about what you've just seen.

Speaker 1: And what does that title mean?

Speaker 2: Yeah, so I think there's a couple of applications there.

Speaker 2: Wendy and I, my wife and I, love movies. We

Speaker 2: love to just get lost in the movies of all

Speaker 2: different kinds, you know. And a lot of times, if

Speaker 2: it's a good movie, you're really engrossed in it, and

Speaker 2: you're sort of you know, escaping reality and just you're

Speaker 2: drawn into this world for 90 minutes. And if it's

Speaker 2: really good, all of a sudden it ends, it fades

Speaker 2: to black. And then the credits roll and you begin

Speaker 2: to see, oh, these were actors. These weren't real. You're
19:17
Speaker 2: jolted back into reality. And I think on the world stage,

Speaker 2: what we're seeing is a fade to black. And a
19:23
Speaker 2: lot of these actors that are working at Satan's behest
19:26
Speaker 2: to take over the world are ultimately going to be
19:28
Speaker 2: exposed for who they really are. And when Christ comes back,

Speaker 2: you know, he's going to remind them who really wins
19:34
Speaker 2: in the end. So we see that. We see the
19:36
Speaker 2: whole light-darkness metaphor that I talk about in the book

Speaker 2: in Scripture. A lot of examples of this running metaphor

Speaker 2: of light and darkness. And so it's going to get

Speaker 2: dark before it gets light. It's always darkest before dawn.

Speaker 2: We're headed towards a glorious return of Christ and great

Speaker 2: power and glory and victory. The church, of course, will

Speaker 2: be coming back with him to establish the long-awaited kingdom.

Speaker 2: But until then, it's some dark times and we need

Speaker 2: to be aware of it and pay attention to it.
