Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
August 21st, the real 21st. Not like that fake 21st that
• 0:24
happened yesterday, 2025. And well, unfortunately,
• 0:31
although it was a fake 21st, it still counts as a negative
• 0:35
because oh, wait a minute. No, it goes as a positive.
• 0:39
No. So that EE counts because the
• 0:43
Padres put up enough runs in the sort of the Giants combined, and
• 0:48
we got over that 7 1/2, right? That's what I was going for,
• 0:52
yes. That's what I was going for.
• 0:53
I had the over 7 1/2 they combined, I think they were at 9
• 0:58
at one point. So we got the win.
• 1:02
That's good. All right, so today, the real
• 1:05
21st, we got some football, we got the Thursday Night Football
• 1:09
and I'm looking at this game between the Steelers and the
• 1:15
Panthers and let's be honest, I don't know what's going on.
• 1:23
My pre season's just been terrible, but I need something
• 1:28
tonight. We got a game like this.
• 1:31
Who knows teams that probably really ain't gonna be any good.
• 1:36
Maybe middle of the pack at best and uh, sorry Jim, but uh, so
• 1:43
I'm just gonna stick to tried and true pre season, take the
• 1:47
under. All right, so it's in at 34 1/2.
• 1:52
I'm just gonna take the under and hope for the best, figuring
• 1:56
nobody's going to score no points.
• 1:59
So we're going to go under. 34 1/2 total points between the
• 2:04
Panthers and the Steelers in tonight's Thursday night NFL
• 2:08
  Football. Prime TV action.
• 2:12
Anything better than that, pound it.
• 2:13
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
