- 0:14Speaker 2: Good morning good morning.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You light up my life oh is that a song
- 0:22Speaker 1: Is that a lyric to a song? You light up
- 0:25Speaker 1: my life. It's an old song. Is that an old song?
- 0:28Speaker 2: It's a very old song from the late 70s by
- 0:30Speaker 2: Debbie Boone.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
- 0:32Speaker 1: What's the next lyric?
- 0:33Speaker 2: How'd you know that?
- 0:34Speaker 1: You light up my life. You give me hope to
- 0:36Speaker 1: carry on. Oh, that's it. That's what I want to
- 0:38Speaker 1: say to you guys. Sisney Tanya, you light up my life.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You give me hope to carry on.
- 0:44Speaker 4: It's beautiful.
- 0:45Speaker 1: And I appreciate it. I'm grateful.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Right back at you. That is so nice.
- 0:50Speaker 1: No, but I get asked questions every once in a
- 0:52Speaker 1: while in the wild. Like, hey, what do you love
- 0:55Speaker 1: about working at Kiss? You've been there a long time. Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I'm like, love that I get to see these two
- 1:01Speaker 1: people that I'm dear friends with and that give me
- 1:03Speaker 1: great advice. I love that we connect with people we've
- 1:07Speaker 1: never met, but we feel like we're friends and the listeners.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And I love giving away stuff. I really get excited
- 1:13Speaker 1: about it.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And I love playing the music.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah, the music too. I love it. I really do
- 1:18Speaker 1: love it. And then when you go to like the
- 1:19Speaker 1: iHeartRadio Music Festival and you get to meet people who listen,
- 1:22Speaker 1: it's super fun. So you light up my life. Play
- 1:28Speaker 1: the song.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I don't know what to do with that information.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Right back at you. Yeah.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You light up my life. I think thank you is
- 1:38Speaker 2: an order. I don't know. Thank you.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Well, thank you.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah, sure. But also it's like, it's the same. Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I light up your life.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I would not love this job as much as I
- 1:48Speaker 4: do if I didn't like genuinely enjoy coming in here and.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Doing this show every day.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Of all of the DJs here, Kiss, who would you
- 1:55Speaker 1: least like to do it with?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Why do you always go there?
- 2:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Why do you want to start drama?
- 2:03Speaker 1: That's not drama.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I'm not going to answer that question because that's impossible.
- 2:08Speaker 2: There's no least in our crew. There has to be
- 2:11Speaker 2: a least. No, the other.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Stations actually talk about KISS, about how good of friends
- 2:15Speaker 4: we all are. They're like, do you guys actually hang
- 2:17Speaker 4: out outside of work? We're like, yes, we do.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Like, all the time.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Do they not?
- 2:22Speaker 2: No, a lot of other stations don't. They don't have
- 2:24Speaker 2: the chemistry.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Who would you least like to work with over there?
- 2:26Speaker 2: No, I'm not going there either. Ruby, you can take
- 2:30Speaker 2: that one.
- 2:31Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no. I'm good.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I would have done the same thing. I can make
- 2:38Speaker 1: working with anyone fun. I've worked with a lot of
- 2:40Speaker 1: different people in my different jobs. I can make it fun.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You know, just you make it work. But this is
- 2:46Speaker 1: not normal. This is like we will we would even
- 2:50Speaker 1: if we didn't have this thing, this show. Yeah. We'd
- 2:53Speaker 1: still be talking like this somewhere. Exactly. You know, just
- 2:56Speaker 1: without a microphone. Without a microphone.
- 3:00Speaker 6: He came in with compliments, came in with his shirt unbuttoned.
- 3:04Speaker 6: He is like ready to.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You're really showing the pecs today.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah. It's not unbuttoned.
- 3:08Speaker 2: It's giving Kendall.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Okay, fine. I'll take that. Yeah. But I'm watching Dancing
- 3:14Speaker 1: with the Stars. All those guys wear their shirts like this.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I mean, it's a costume.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yeah, they're literally in costume.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Bruno's not in costume. Oh, you're right.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah, he is. That's his outfit that he chose to wear.
- 3:25Speaker 1: No, he dresses like that out in the Wild Trust.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I've seen that Bruno outfit.
- 3:29Speaker 6: It's just funny because I've watched it go. It was
- 3:32Speaker 6: like one button for a while.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Then it was two. Now he's navel.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Look at that. Wow.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Showing the pecs. What do we do with this?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Try to market myself, guys, when we post this.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Do you need marketing?
- 3:50Speaker 1: I would always accept it. Why, you want to mark it?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Mark it. All right. Listen, anyway, I'm just grateful to
- 3:56Speaker 1: be here and appreciate everybody listening at this hour, too,
- 3:59Speaker 1: because I know you've got a lot going on yourself.
- 4:00Speaker 1: For sure. We are going to move through a fun show.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm going to pay your bills next on Kiss. Let's
- 4:04Speaker 1: address something. I think Ruby needs clarity on this. It's
- 4:07Speaker 1: a social issue. And I love these things. Ruby in
- 4:10Speaker 1: the back room. Now, you were just saying that when
- 4:13Speaker 1: you go out and you order some beverages, you order
- 4:16Speaker 1: multiple beverages at once for efficiency, but they're not for
- 4:20Speaker 1: other people?
- 4:21Speaker 7: Well, this happened before where it was for a friend
- 4:23Speaker 7: because she forgot her ID and it was open bar.
- 4:25Speaker 7: So I was just being a little efficient and going up,
- 4:28Speaker 7: getting two at a time.
- 4:30Speaker 2: But then I was like, wait, is it okay?
- 4:32Speaker 7: Because I kind of felt like the bartender was looking
- 4:34Speaker 7: at me a little like, okay, she's coming up. and
- 4:38Speaker 7: ordering two drinks at a time. But I just felt
- 4:41Speaker 7: like that's what's efficient, especially if there is a long line,
- 4:44Speaker 7: especially if it's free.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah. I wouldn't question this. The only thing I'm thinking about,
- 4:50Speaker 1: what's the drink? Doesn't the ice water it down when
- 4:52Speaker 1: it melts?
- 4:53Speaker 7: Yes, but if you're quick enough.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Sometimes you're quick enough. If you're efficient with drinking them.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Are you a straw cocktail drinker? I am. Well, it depends.
- 5:05Speaker 2: It depends on the cocktail. Yeah, I am too. I
- 5:06Speaker 2: like a straw cocktail.
- 5:08Speaker 1: If you're going to get three down, you got to
- 5:10Speaker 1: have a straw to get through that. I do like
- 5:15Speaker 1: a straw. I do like a straw. No, men with
- 5:18Speaker 1: straws is a no for me. Oh, is that right? Ronnie,
- 5:21Speaker 1: do you straw?
- 5:22Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it depends on the cocktail. So what's the
- 5:25Speaker 3: issue with guys? Yeah, that's kind of weird. What's the
- 5:28Speaker 3: issue with guys and straws?
- 5:29Speaker 2: I don't really know any guys who use straws.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Well, who's not? Ronnie? I don't know. She's talking to
- 5:34Speaker 1: you or me. Yeah, she's talking about me. Well, I mean, well,
- 5:37Speaker 1: never mind. I won't say anything, but yes. I am
- 5:40Speaker 1: straight if you're asking. Okay, thank you. Did you want
- 5:45Speaker 1: to know? I know you're new. Did you want to know? Yeah,
- 5:49Speaker 1: that was like a thought that crossed my mind. Are
- 5:51Speaker 1: you satisfied with that answer? No, yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 2: There's something just not sexy for me to see.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Like if Michael is sucking out of a straw with
- 5:58Speaker 4: his drink, I'm just not turned on.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Like, I don't know. I can't explain it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: The thing is, I don't mind using a straw and
- 6:07Speaker 1: having it be a deal breaker for the other two
- 6:10Speaker 1: of you. And frankly, I kick up my foot when
- 6:12Speaker 1: I hug people sometimes, too.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Problem? I do, too.
- 6:18Speaker 1: No problems there.
- 6:19Speaker 4: No problem.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Hold my drink with my pinky out. Got no issue
- 6:23Speaker 1: with that. That doesn't mean anything. It's a deal breaker
- 6:26Speaker 1: for you guys, but I think for others, it's cute.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Hey, everyone has their thing.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Yep.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Sock for every foot.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Ronnie, which bar should we go to? Just to, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I mean, obviously I'm straight, but which bar would be
- 6:41Speaker 1: fun for me to go to with you?
- 6:42Speaker 3: Well, so obviously West Hollywood's fun, but that's not, you know,
- 6:46Speaker 3: a straight vibe. But we could go to Venice area,
- 6:49Speaker 3: like the Lincoln. It's really fun over there. I love
- 6:52Speaker 3: Santa Monica, you know. No, I want to go to
- 6:55Speaker 3: your bars, where you go.
- 6:57Speaker 8: Oh.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good time. He's taking me to his bars.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yeah. And we could go to Trunk's. In West Hollywood.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Or the Abbey. Trunks. Let me write that down. You know,
- 7:05Speaker 1: tried and true, the Abbey. Yeah. I mean, this would
- 7:09Speaker 1: be a fun outing. I really think you'll have fun. Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 1: I will. I am fun. And I will drink with
- 7:14Speaker 1: a straw at Trunks. But there, it's okay. It's okay.
- 7:18Speaker 3: No judgment zone. Maybe Sisney will judge you, but no.
- 7:21Speaker 1: One else will.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Well, it's like, take the straw out.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Coming up next not scary farm tickets on kiss tanya
- 7:28Speaker 1: in some of the songs is deleting from her camera
- 7:30Speaker 1: roll to get some phone photos out of her giga
- 7:34Speaker 1: mega megabyte data how many do you have right now
- 7:37Speaker 1: why are you deleting.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Photos so right now i have about let's just see
- 7:42Speaker 6: here i have 69 000 photos yes.
- 7:45Speaker 1: There's nothing other people in those it's I.
- 7:49Speaker 6: Have like six or seven of the same photo over
- 7:51Speaker 6: and over and over years. And so I've been taking
- 7:54Speaker 6: the time to go through and delete the duplicates because
- 7:58Speaker 6: it's all I have.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot.
- 8:01Speaker 2: How many do you have, Ryan, on your roll?
- 8:03Speaker 1: I have on my phone 26,773. That's normal. I want
- 8:09Speaker 1: to get rid of a lot of them, too.
- 8:11Speaker 4: I have 144,856. I think we see.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Who's vain around here. I have children.
- 8:18Speaker 2: The majority of my camera roll is my kids.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Well, Tanya is usually just her with seven versions of
- 8:23Speaker 1: the same solo.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I don't have any pictures of myself. It's literally all
- 8:27Speaker 2: babies and my kids.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But here's the thing with the pictures. I'm going to
- 8:30Speaker 1: give you guys a tip. We don't really go back
- 8:32Speaker 1: and do anything with these pictures.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I decided. Well, good on you, but most of us don't.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I put them in there. I don't go back. They're
- 8:42Speaker 1: in a phone, right? They're not in a place where
- 8:43Speaker 1: I really want to go back and look.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Or the cloud.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah, sure. So this summer, my family, we were on
- 8:52Speaker 1: some vacation. And all of the moments from summer that
- 8:56Speaker 1: everybody captured, I had them send to me. And I'm
- 8:59Speaker 1: making a book. I'm making like one of those books
- 9:03Speaker 1: you can make through an app. What do you mean, yeah?
- 9:05Speaker 1: Have you guys made a book?
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:07Speaker 1: When have you made a book?
- 9:09Speaker 2: No, no. What if you.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Made a hard bound book of your summer with your family?
- 9:13Speaker 4: Not my summer with my family, but I know exactly
- 9:15Speaker 4: what you're talking about.
- 9:17Speaker 1: But I've done this now twice. Good. Two summers with
- 9:20Speaker 1: the family. And it's so much better than having the
- 9:22Speaker 1: camera roll.
- 9:23Speaker 6: You're onto something.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I have never made a book.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Really?
- 9:26Speaker 6: Outside of my wedding.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I think I made one.
- 9:28Speaker 1: For like my wedding. You got to do this. These
- 9:29Speaker 1: are great.
- 9:30Speaker 6: And my sister-in-law does one every single year for like
- 9:33Speaker 6: their family. So they have a book of every year.
- 9:35Speaker 6: And I'm like, that's so smart.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Well, it is. And your sister and I are onto something.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I highly recommend it. It's so much more memorable to
- 9:44Speaker 1: go open a hardback book and they have these apps
- 9:47Speaker 1: that will build the book for you, pick the photos,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and then they're in there laid out. And it says
- 9:51Speaker 1: on the cover what it was, summer of 26 or whatever.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you, it's such a great gift. And it
- 9:56Speaker 1: really is the way you want to remember memories, looking
- 9:59Speaker 1: through a book.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah. So maybe that's what I should do with my time.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess I was trying to tell you that.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, then going in and deleting is going to take
- 10:08Speaker 2: so long.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Okay. Well, we're here five hours a day playing songs.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Dominic Fike's a short one, but you can at least
- 10:15Speaker 1: one or two delete it. It's Kiss FM. Do you
- 10:18Speaker 1: have to travel today? Anytime soon? So planes are Jeremy.
- 10:23Speaker 1: We know that. Never eat off the tray table. You
- 10:25Speaker 1: know that. But doing this will help keep the germs away.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And that is keep that air vent above your seat on.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Even if you get cold, keep it on. The air
- 10:37Speaker 1: coming out is highly purified. creates an invisible barrier that
- 10:41Speaker 1: keeps germs out of your breathing zone. I did not
- 10:43Speaker 1: know that. I'm always cold with it.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Me too.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So keep it on.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So bring the extra hoodie.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Bring the hoodie. Keep it on. Today's quote, don't judge
- 10:54Speaker 1: a book by its cover, but be careful about the
- 10:58Speaker 1: library that it's in.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Wow. That's deep. I don't get it.
- 11:03Speaker 1: It's not. Sisney, please help her. Almost 7 o'clock. So
- 11:09Speaker 1: the quote, Tanya, was don't judge a book by its cover,
- 11:12Speaker 1: but be careful about the library it's in. So meaning
- 11:14Speaker 1: you need to sort of understand the context of where
- 11:16Speaker 1: this book is coming from to make sure that they.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Are a good person. And what other books it's around.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, the books that it surrounds itself with.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Don't they just put them in alphabetical order?
- 11:27Speaker 1: No, no, this is not a literal definition.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It's like the saying, like, tell me who your friends
- 11:34Speaker 2: are and I'll tell you who you are. Like nonfiction, fiction.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Forget about the books. Can't forget about the books. I'm
- 11:43Speaker 1: going to print this out and have you send this
- 11:45Speaker 1: home with you and you'll have a nice evening. Okay
- 11:47Speaker 1: with that? Take it to bed, study it. Sissany has
- 11:51Speaker 1: the headlines. Kiss FM Headlines with Sissany.
- 11:55Speaker 4: The Six Flags announced it will permanently shut down its
- 11:58Speaker 4: X2 ride about a month after an investigation exposed a
- 12:01Speaker 4: long history of injuries linked to the ride. The woman
- 12:05Speaker 4: accused of firing a rifle at Rihanna's L.A. home has
- 12:08Speaker 4: been found competent to stand trial. More cases of West
- 12:12Speaker 4: Nile virus are being reported in L.A. County with over
- 12:15Speaker 4: 100 human infections reported already this year.
- 12:18Speaker 2: And whale watchers.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Off the Newport Beach coast got a rare sighting when
- 12:23Speaker 4: a pod of about a dozen killer whales was spotted
- 12:27Speaker 4: swimming and surfacing right alongside their boat.
- 12:31Speaker 1: If Tanya won the big lottery, she'd come right in
- 12:34Speaker 1: here the next day and tell us all about it.
- 12:36Speaker 1: She'd keep working here.
- 12:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Right?
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 1: How many years would you work here if you won
- 12:41Speaker 1: the big lottery?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Now that's hard to say.
- 12:44Speaker 6: It depends on how much the lottery was, how much
- 12:48Speaker 6: I won, but I would definitely stay as long as
- 12:51Speaker 6: you guys were here.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Oh, that's nice.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Wow.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I've been here 20 some years. That's a long run.
- 12:57Speaker 2: No, I'm saying as long as you guys are still here.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Well, what if we have 20 more?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well, if you won so much lottery, you can
- 13:02Speaker 2: just share the wealth.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Oh, that'd be nice.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Then we'd all leave.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we'd probably go faster than you. Let's go to Ronnie. Now,
- 13:10Speaker 1: Ronnie in the back room, how is it that you
- 13:12Speaker 1: thought you won the lottery?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Okay, you guys, so I have this friend. His name
- 13:17Speaker 3: is Kyle. I'm going to throw it out there, actually,
- 13:18Speaker 3: because it was such an evil prank that he did.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And basically, he had this whole scheme plotted. So we
- 13:26Speaker 3: went to this little liquor store to buy these lottery tickets.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I watched him buy them. He wrote all our names
- 13:34Speaker 3: on it. So it was a big group of my friends.
- 13:35Speaker 3: We all bought a lottery ticket. Like, haha, let's just
- 13:38Speaker 3: all play. Wrote our names down on it. Then, fast
- 13:41Speaker 3: forward to last weekend, I go. And he basically... Pulls
- 13:47Speaker 3: out the tickets, hands them out to everyone. And it's like, okay,
- 13:50Speaker 3: you guys time to check the numbers. I didn't realize
- 13:53Speaker 3: what he did was he went, so I don't even
- 13:56Speaker 3: know how the lottery works. I don't ever play it,
- 13:58Speaker 3: but he went and changed the ticket to the winning
- 14:01Speaker 3: numbers of like the previous games. So it had appeared
- 14:04Speaker 3: that I, yes, it looked like I won the lottery
- 14:09Speaker 3: when I looked up the numbers myself. Cause I didn't,
- 14:12Speaker 3: you know, there's a date that's so small on the ticket.
- 14:15Speaker 3: So I wasn't looking at what day the numbers were for.
- 14:17Speaker 3: It just, I saw the numbers and I was like,
- 14:20Speaker 3: I am rich.
- 14:22Speaker 1: And what did you think you won?
- 14:23Speaker 2: I am rich.
- 14:24Speaker 1: It was, I don't even know what the numbers were.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I thought it was like 200. No. What was the lottery?
- 14:29Speaker 2: What was it? How many millions?
- 14:31Speaker 3: I really feel like it was over 200 something that
- 14:34Speaker 3: I had just won.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 14:37Speaker 3: So this is the part, too, because my friends were
- 14:41Speaker 3: upset with me because when I thought I won, I
- 14:43Speaker 3: didn't say a word to them.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Well, you're not supposed to.
- 14:46Speaker 8: Right.
- 14:46Speaker 4: They say don't tell anybody, not even your spouse.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Oh, really? Yeah, because they don't want people to come
- 14:50Speaker 1: in and take it from you. Yeah. Yeah, they just
- 14:53Speaker 1: thought that was like... They say get a lawyer.
- 14:55Speaker 2: You get a lawyer, get an LLC.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And then you get out of town. Oh, my gosh.
- 14:59Speaker 2: You guys are so.
- 15:01Speaker 3: smart but yeah basically i thought i was so rich
- 15:04Speaker 3: i like tanya would also have still come to work
- 15:06Speaker 3: even if i won just because it's so fun here
- 15:08Speaker 3: just to brag no not to.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Brag no no no to play cool yeah we'd make
- 15:11Speaker 4: it rain we would just make it rain in here
- 15:13Speaker 4: you gotta come in.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And just act like i work here i don't need
- 15:16Speaker 1: this i don't.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Need to everything's normal still i'll.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Take my helicopter back over to home i'll take the
- 15:25Speaker 1: whatever vehicle that has doors it opens straight up Right.
- 15:29Speaker 2: You didn't have to take the Metro anymore, Ronnie.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I know. I was so excited.
- 15:32Speaker 3: And then when I found out I didn't win, I cried.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because you thought you won so much. Did
- 15:39Speaker 1: you address this with your friend and say, that's not funny, bro?
- 15:43Speaker 3: Well, I think he realized that when I started crying
- 15:45Speaker 3: because I really don't cry often.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever seen you cry.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I was sad because I was like, wow, I'm
- 15:51Speaker 1: rich and now I'm not.
- 15:53Speaker 2: I have a picture of him crying. You were there?
- 15:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 2: No, she was the friend.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It was Tanya.
- 15:58Speaker 3: She was the one that changed the numbers. But I
- 16:01Speaker 3: am such a nice person. So I don't really care
- 16:02Speaker 3: that deeply because I got it. It's like my life
- 16:05Speaker 3: isn't affected. I just thought I would.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I know. But here's the thing. I'm not with my friends,
- 16:10Speaker 1: my good friends. No jokes. No practical jokes. Please don't
- 16:15Speaker 1: do it. And no surprise birthday parties. Just don't do it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That's not part of our friendship. I don't want any
- 16:22Speaker 1: of that.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I'm the same way. I hate surprises. But see, this
- 16:25Speaker 3: is the type of friend group I'm in. Because they
- 16:27Speaker 3: said they needed to humble me. And this is why
- 16:29Speaker 3: they played this prank on me. Everyone knew about it, too.
- 16:31Speaker 8: Wow.
- 16:32Speaker 1: We're happy to humble you. I can step right in
- 16:34Speaker 1: and do that every weekday. Yes. I'm sorry you didn't win,
- 16:38Speaker 1: but you still have us.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we're here.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, it's not what
- 16:43Speaker 1: you win. It's who you spend time with, probably. Unless
- 16:48Speaker 1: it were 200 million bucks, it'd probably be better.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:50Speaker 1: All right, coming up next. $ 1, 000 to pay a bill
- 16:52Speaker 1: in Orange County. Tanya, training her for it. Let's go.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Okay, so Anne Hathaway is pregnant with baby number three,
- 16:58Speaker 6: and she's had one of the busiest years of anyone
- 17:02Speaker 6: in Hollywood. We're talking five movies, okay? The Devil Wears
- 17:05Speaker 6: Prada 2, Mother Mary, The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street,
- 17:09Speaker 6: and now Verity, which comes out on Friday. So everybody
- 17:12Speaker 6: has been praising Anne Hathaway. How is she doing it?
- 17:15Speaker 6: She's superwoman now. But Anne said, please stop. She said,
- 17:19Speaker 6: let's not overpraise the pampered actress. There's a lot of
- 17:23Speaker 6: pregnant women out there who didn't get a manicure this morning.
- 17:26Speaker 6: And she also said she has a lot of support.
- 17:29Speaker 6: And moms out there are loving it. Pregnant women online
- 17:32Speaker 6: are saying that they feel seen, like finally somebody admitting
- 17:34Speaker 6: that they have a glam team and a car service
- 17:36Speaker 6: is not the same as working a shift at eight
- 17:39Speaker 6: months pregnant. And I feel like Lately, I think people
- 17:44Speaker 6: have really been honing in on how some celebrities are
- 17:46Speaker 6: so out of touch with reality. And this, like, shows
- 17:49Speaker 6: that Anne Hathaway is so in touch with reality.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Like, she could have easily been, like.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Especially because she's been promoting five movies, so she has
- 17:56Speaker 6: been very busy.
- 17:57Speaker 2: She could literally just be like, yeah, it's tough, you know?
- 18:00Speaker 2: It's really... Because I'm sure it is hard for her,
- 18:02Speaker 2: but she's saying.
- 18:04Speaker 6: she's getting manicures and getting glammed up to go to these.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Like a chef that's giving her an amazing food.
- 18:09Speaker 6: And like all the men out there are eight months pregnant,
- 18:12Speaker 6: working shifts on their feet for nine hours.
- 18:15Speaker 2: And so, I don't know.
- 18:16Speaker 6: I think that she was just getting a lot of praise.
- 18:17Speaker 6: And I think it's just cool to see that she's
- 18:20Speaker 6: not out of.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Touch with reality.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I agree. I, you know, I saw her at the
- 18:23Speaker 1: Disney legends ceremony where she, uh, I introduced her when
- 18:27Speaker 1: she won one of those awards. Uh, and she had
- 18:30Speaker 1: talked about me. I didn't know she was in five movies.
- 18:33Speaker 1: And she'd mentioned that she was in five movies and
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm going doing the math on just five movies. I'd
- 18:38Speaker 1: say movies take longer than a live broadcast. So that's,
- 18:43Speaker 1: first of all, congratulations. What a big feat. That's a
- 18:46Speaker 1: huge accomplishment. And they're all like great movies. And then
- 18:49Speaker 1: she said, she mentioned that she was pregnant as well.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And I thought, great. But what struck me was, and
- 18:56Speaker 1: I saw her husband also backstage for a moment. What
- 19:00Speaker 1: struck me is just how she has not changed. I
- 19:04Speaker 1: remember meeting her early on in her career, and she's
- 19:07Speaker 1: had tremendous success, but she has humility. And even in
- 19:14Speaker 1: what you just said, and then in watching her behind
- 19:17Speaker 1: the scenes, and also the way that she spoke at
- 19:20Speaker 1: this event, I really admire her. Yeah, the workload and
- 19:26Speaker 1: congratulations on the movie. But she's just a good human
- 19:30Speaker 1: that appreciates things and not like some people could be
- 19:36Speaker 1: who are at her level of movie stardom.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Yes.
- 19:39Speaker 6: I feel like it's very easy to become out of touch.
- 19:43Speaker 6: Do you know what I mean? I'm sure she hasn't
- 19:45Speaker 6: seen the inside of a grocery store. Who knows if
- 19:47Speaker 6: she gets.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Her own groceries?
- 19:47Speaker 1: I have no idea. You don't know that.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I don't know that.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I really don't.
- 19:50Speaker 6: Don't know that. But it just, it shows me that
- 19:55Speaker 6: she's still got it.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Like, she's one of us.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Well, she's really not one of us. Well, right.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I mean, yeah. Basically besties.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:04Speaker 5: All right.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Coming up. I was in a mud mask. play last
- 20:10Speaker 1: night it's not difficult takes away dry skin and unclogs
- 20:15Speaker 1: pores and as i was in my 10 12 minute
- 20:18Speaker 1: of it hardening i came up with a game that
- 20:23Speaker 1: we're gonna play next and that game is i'll tell
- 20:28Speaker 1: you kiss for not scary farm tickets are you ready
- 20:31Speaker 1: to play the game called Knots or not-knots? Knots or not-knots?
- 20:39Speaker 1: We've got Bridget on the line, who's reached out to
- 20:43Speaker 1: get these tickets. Want to make it happen for her. So, Bridget,
- 20:46Speaker 1: thank you for listening in Los Angeles. How are you?
- 20:49Speaker 5: Hi, Ryan. How are you? I'm good, thank you. Good.
- 20:53Speaker 1: What are you up to this morning?
- 20:56Speaker 5: Talking with my son on the way to school.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Oh, yeah? Serious talk or fun talk? Fun talk. Oh, exactly.
- 21:03Speaker 8: Always fun talk.
- 21:05Speaker 6: Good. Okay.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Well, we won't take up too much of your time.
- 21:08Speaker 1: So basically, I got a four-pack to Knott's Scary Farm.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Knott's has haunted mazes with spooky names. So you got
- 21:16Speaker 1: to decide if the name we give you is a
- 21:18Speaker 1: real maze at Knott's Scary Farm this year, or if
- 21:21Speaker 1: it's one that I made up last night in my
- 21:23Speaker 1: clay mask. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Okay.
- 21:28Speaker 8: Can my son help me? Yeah.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Okay, okay.
- 21:33Speaker 2: You can get all the help you need.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. What's your son's name?
- 21:37Speaker 5: Brendan.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Brendan. Okay, Brendan and Bridget. Here we go. The Chilling Chambers.
- 21:45Speaker 1: The Chilling Chambers. Is that Knott's or not Knott's?
- 21:49Speaker 5: Not Knott's.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It is Knott's. It's real. Yeah. That's all right. Here
- 21:58Speaker 1: we go. Next one. Team Effort, you and Brendan. Eight
- 22:02Speaker 1: Fingers Nine, The Boogeyman. Eight Fingers Nine, The Boogeyman. Is
- 22:10Speaker 1: that real?
- 22:11Speaker 5: Is that fake?
- 22:15Speaker 1: That's real. That is real. Yeah, you got it. You
- 22:20Speaker 1: got it. All right, next one. Knots or Not Knots?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Clown Motel.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Oh, not real.
- 22:31Speaker 1: It is not real. Are you ready for the run
- 22:34Speaker 1: for the win here for you?
- 22:35Speaker 2: All right, one more.
- 22:36Speaker 1: This is for the win.
- 22:37Speaker 6: Okay.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Not or not not marry the haunting of Worthome.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Oh, not real.
- 22:51Speaker 1: It is actually.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Real at Knott's Berry Farm.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Okay. Don't worry. Don't worry. Here we go. For the win.
- 22:59Speaker 8: Okay.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Knott's or not Knott's? The Bone Orchard.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Oh, that's.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Real. Have you seen that at Knott's Berry Farm, Scary Farm?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Yeah, tell us where.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Where is the Bone Orchard? Brendan has been in the
- 23:23Speaker 1: last few years, but I haven't been. Where has he
- 23:26Speaker 1: seen the Bone Orchard?
- 23:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Have you seen the broad notes it's been a while
- 23:31Speaker 5: it's been a while we're in trouble we're in trouble.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Well i i think it's been a while you heard
- 23:39Speaker 1: that it's been too long for it to be.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Don't give us bad don't give us bad news ryan
- 23:44Speaker 5: come on ryan i don't.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Like bad news i i i really don't like bad
- 23:49Speaker 1: news there's a lot of things i don't like a
- 23:50Speaker 1: lot of things i like a few things i don't
- 23:52Speaker 1: like bad news is one i don't.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Like right we don't either.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Well, we're kindred spirits.
- 23:59Speaker 5: Give us some good news. Give us some good news.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Let me give you a four-pack to Not Scary Farm
- 24:04Speaker 1: so we avoid bad news. You and Brendan enjoy those.
- 24:10Speaker 5: Thank you. Tell Ryan that thank you.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Brendan?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Brendan?
- 24:14Speaker 8: Yes.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Good job. But they don't have a bone orchard, just
- 24:21Speaker 1: so you know.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that one was made up.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Oh, thank you so much, Ryan. He's been wanting to
- 24:26Speaker 5: go and take his friends for a long time.
- 24:28Speaker 1: That's fine. Consider it done. Enjoy. Thank you.
- 24:31Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Okay, bye-bye. It's Kiss FM. All right, everybody's on. On
- 24:36Speaker 1: air with Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest with you, about to pay
- 24:41Speaker 1: a bill. We got the front room.
- 24:43Speaker 2: We got Ronnie in the back room. Ruby's back there.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Also, we got our intern from USC, Bella, who's got
- 24:49Speaker 1: a lot of drama with her roommates. And then her
- 24:51Speaker 1: roommate's parents get involved to come down on her for
- 24:53Speaker 1: 40 minutes to say, why don't you give my daughter
- 24:56Speaker 1: your private Wi-Fi? And then Bella's dad calls that woman's
- 25:01Speaker 1: dad and the dad's double down. I mean, this is crazy.
- 25:05Speaker 1: These are adults at school. You can't have your parents
- 25:08Speaker 1: fighting for you on stuff like this. It's the Wi-Fi password.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Get your own.
- 25:12Speaker 2: It's a crazy life I live.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I just don't, yeah, I don't know. Life is not
- 25:18Speaker 1: always like this, like with people. So maybe it's good
- 25:21Speaker 1: you're learning all this now. Maybe it's good you have
- 25:23Speaker 1: your dad who's a fighter.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Right? Very lucky.
- 25:27Speaker 1: He's going to throw down. He will.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Mr.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Bella, Bella's dad. Okay, so a lot of life lessons here. Now,
- 25:33Speaker 1: what's the next life lesson as you're out in the wild?
- 25:36Speaker 1: You're growing up. What are you, 21?
- 25:39Speaker 8: I am 21.
- 25:39Speaker 2: All right, 21.
- 25:41Speaker 1: You got to learn a lot of stuff.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Yep.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Now, what's this crisis?
- 25:45Speaker 8: So I went out to dinner with friends.
- 25:46Speaker 2: It was a big group of us.
- 25:48Speaker 8: We got a lot of drinks and some people ordered
- 25:51Speaker 8: food and I put my card down to pay for
- 25:54Speaker 8: half of the bill.
- 25:55Speaker 2: So when I was.
- 25:56Speaker 8: Charging everyone for their portion of the bill, I split
- 26:00Speaker 8: the tax evenly amongst the 17 people.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 26:06Speaker 8: But one of the people at dinner asked if I
- 26:10Speaker 8: could split the tax proportionately to what they ordered. And
- 26:15Speaker 8: I was like, I'm not doing all that. It's split
- 26:17Speaker 8: by 17 people. But this is like the first time
- 26:19Speaker 8: I've heard of someone ask me to split it based
- 26:22Speaker 8: off of what they ordered.
- 26:24Speaker 1: People will ask that question. The problem is 17 people
- 26:28Speaker 1: is not manageable when stuff like that happens.
- 26:31Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Two or three people and they ask maybe. But 17 people,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you also have to know when you get into it
- 26:37Speaker 1: to set the expectation with everybody else. Hey, I'm going
- 26:40Speaker 1: to throw down. I'm just going to split the tip.
- 26:43Speaker 1: You kind of got to make that announcement so that
- 26:45Speaker 1: if anybody's going to have a mathematical issue at the end,
- 26:48Speaker 1: they have a chance to do that. But it's not....
- 26:53Speaker 8: Yeah, what kills me is like it was a $ 2
- 26:56Speaker 8: difference between proportionately and easily.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Pop them two bucks, call it a day. You know
- 27:03Speaker 1: what I mean? Why 17 people all out together? That's
- 27:07Speaker 1: a lot.
- 27:07Speaker 8: Oh, it was my sorority invite. So we went out
- 27:10Speaker 8: to get drinks in pregame. It was bottomless drinks.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Oh, it was bottomless breadsticks and bottomless cocktails.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Not the breadsticks. That's it.
- 27:19Speaker 8: Bottomless sangria, wine, cocktail.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I mean, look, when you got, when you're rolling with
- 27:23Speaker 1: that many people, things like this are going to happen.
- 27:26Speaker 1: There's going to be problems. It's just something you got
- 27:28Speaker 1: to like now. So when you get to be like
- 27:32Speaker 1: our age now, we go along. Or maybe with one,
- 27:40Speaker 1: I take myself. I'll treat myself. Big day today, Ryan.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Let's go. Accomplished a lot. Proud of you. Let's kiss.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Paying your bill next. So I'm sticking to my yoga,
- 27:49Speaker 1: Sisney and Tanya. I'm doing it. Help me out. I
- 27:51Speaker 1: haven't done it ever in my life, but I'm doing it. Oh,
- 27:55Speaker 1: my yoga instructor asked me if I wanted to have kids.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't get it. In the middle of your practice? Well,
- 28:04Speaker 1: her friend had a baby just like on the phone
- 28:06Speaker 1: or something, right? And it just happened. And then she
- 28:10Speaker 1: said something about her. And then she said, do you
- 28:11Speaker 1: want to have kids? And I was like, yep, I do.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I didn't hesitate. I didn't get into it. I said, yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I just thought it was interesting.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And that was it? That was the end of the conversation?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Well, I mean, we were doing it. I thought you
- 28:27Speaker 1: would find it fascinating that I was just quick to
- 28:29Speaker 1: answer and not going into a diatribe about it.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Well, the quick to answer, yes. But I know you
- 28:34Speaker 2: want kids.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You do?
- 28:35Speaker 2: No, he wants kid. Oh, that's true.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Kid.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I want kid at right time. Sure, kid, kid.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Which is when?
- 28:43Speaker 1: I mean, you know, not too old that I'll die
- 28:46Speaker 1: before they get to be an adult.
- 28:48Speaker 2: So like now. Yeah. Right. We got to go. I mean, yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 2: it's September. We got to go.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Well, if I keep doing yoga, I got more time.
- 28:58Speaker 2: That'll buy a few more years. Let's go. Line them up.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I'll start. I'll start prioritizing kid in 20. What's after
- 29:07Speaker 1: the ball drop? Twenty seven. Twenty seven.
- 29:09Speaker 2: In 27. So next year.
- 29:11Speaker 1: You start thinking about it. Well, I mean, you got
- 29:13Speaker 1: to ramp in. You don't just go have a kid. Right.
- 29:17Speaker 2: You got to figure out your plan.
- 29:17Speaker 1: You got to figure out your partner.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Well, not necessarily. Listen, it's 2027.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Well, maybe we'll talk about that in 27. Look at
- 29:26Speaker 1: all avenues. Who's an expert? Let's see.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I could answer a couple questions. Lala Kent from the Valley.
- 29:31Speaker 2: She did it by herself.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Tanya, I'm not opposed to just any, I'm looking at
- 29:37Speaker 1: all options. Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Look at all the options.
- 29:39Speaker 1: 27.
- 29:42Speaker 2: That's like in three months.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Well, then I'm nervous. Okay, stop.
- 29:47Speaker 2: We're here for you.
- 29:48Speaker 1: You got to know about this scam. It's Disney. What's
- 29:50Speaker 1: the quick on it?
- 29:52Speaker 4: The quick on it is that this email you get
- 29:54Speaker 4: comes from a friend. So it would be coming from
- 29:56Speaker 4: Tanya or you.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Like their address.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Like your email address. And it's an Evite.
- 30:02Speaker 4: So something that I get a bunch of for my kids'
- 30:04Speaker 4: birthday parties and things like that. And it looks like
- 30:07Speaker 4: a normal Evite.
- 30:08Speaker 2: You'd click on it.
- 30:09Speaker 6: I don't trust these at all.
- 30:10Speaker 2: And it's not just an Evite. It's other companies that
- 30:13Speaker 2: they're frauding and scamming.
- 30:15Speaker 4: And so when you do click on it, it takes
- 30:17Speaker 4: you to a fake Gmail login page. So then again,
- 30:20Speaker 4: it looks legit. You think, okay, put in my Gmail information.
- 30:24Speaker 4: At that point, it's your password that the scammers now have.
- 30:27Speaker 4: They have access to your email, your photos, your drives.
- 30:31Speaker 4: I mean, I can go on and on. But then
- 30:33Speaker 4: the scammers are now into your account. So they have
- 30:35Speaker 4: access to all of your contacts. So now they're sending
- 30:37Speaker 4: that scam on your behalf. And it's like a ripple
- 30:40Speaker 4: effect of all these scammers.
- 30:42Speaker 2: The scam. I don't like any of these things. If
- 30:45Speaker 2: you want me at your party.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Life lock.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Send me a text.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Life lock. So life lock. Would you know, I got
- 30:51Speaker 1: a text going back to Taylor and Travis's wedding. I
- 30:55Speaker 1: got a text.
- 30:56Speaker 2: And you thought it was a scam.
- 30:57Speaker 1: So I got a text about their wedding. And there
- 31:00Speaker 1: was a click in to open the e-invite. And I
- 31:03Speaker 1: was like, well, this is a scam.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Yeah. Right?
- 31:06Speaker 2: I would never have clicked that. You would have clicked that.
- 31:09Speaker 8: No.
- 31:10Speaker 2: If it was Taylor Swift's wedding.
- 31:12Speaker 1: No, I didn't think I was going to be invited
- 31:14Speaker 1: or be invited to be like a text.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and you didn't know the number, I'm sure, right?
- 31:19Speaker 1: I didn't recognize the number. And so I'm like, oh,
- 31:22Speaker 1: that's definitely a scam because they were all in the
- 31:24Speaker 1: news about when's it going to happen, when's it going
- 31:26Speaker 1: to happen. Exactly. And so I let it go. And
- 31:28Speaker 1: then someone called someone and said, there's a text that
- 31:33Speaker 1: Ryan didn't look at. And then I texted someone at
- 31:37Speaker 1: Taylor Knows. It was like, that was real? She was like, yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 1: it's legit. I'm like, what?
- 31:41Speaker 2: I'm so excited.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I didn't know. But you could see.
- 31:45Speaker 2: And then you still didn't go.
- 31:47Speaker 1: No, I did not not go. I was planning to go.
- 31:51Speaker 1: But Disney, I have a contract with Disney and they
- 31:53Speaker 1: put a show, a live show in Nashville for July 4th,
- 31:56Speaker 1: the night of the thing. I would be careful of
- 31:59Speaker 1: the scams, the real scams out there. Not scary. Farm
- 32:01Speaker 1: tickets are next. Ryan Seacrest with you. Weekday mornings. Thanks
- 32:06Speaker 1: for being here. I'm just going to grab this call.
- 32:09Speaker 1: This is Steph on the line in West Covina, 800-520-1027.
- 32:14Speaker 1: My boss is going to a bachelorette party that you
- 32:18Speaker 1: are not attending. Is that right, Steph? Well, yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 5: So my friend is getting married, and so I was
- 32:26Speaker 5: invited to this bachelorette party, and I was really, really
- 32:29Speaker 5: excited because it's supposed to be this crazy, wild weekend,
- 32:32Speaker 5: and And like, I'm usually the one who like goes
- 32:35Speaker 5: big and goes all out. But I just found out
- 32:38Speaker 5: that my boss is going to be there. Like my
- 32:41Speaker 5: literal boss is going to be at the bachelorette because
- 32:43Speaker 5: my friend used to work at the same company that
- 32:45Speaker 5: I work for. And I guess they like stayed really
- 32:48Speaker 5: close and friends after my friend left. So now I'm like,
- 32:52Speaker 5: I feel like I can't quite be myself. Like I'm
- 32:55Speaker 5: going to be dancing and drinking and maybe other things
- 32:59Speaker 5: and like probably saying things that I would never say
- 33:01Speaker 5: at work or like in front of my boss. And
- 33:03Speaker 5: she's going to be right there watching me and seeing
- 33:06Speaker 5: it all.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Like, I don't know.
- 33:08Speaker 5: I don't want to spend the whole weekend wondering if
- 33:10Speaker 5: she's like judging me or going to fire me or
- 33:12Speaker 5: think different of me when we get back to the
- 33:14Speaker 5: office on Monday. Cause I just, I'm very, yeah. I'm
- 33:18Speaker 5: so different in the office than when I'm out, you know?
- 33:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Well, there's only one way to handle this, and that
- 33:25Speaker 1: is be an adult. Discipline yourself a little bit. Don't
- 33:28Speaker 1: go as crazy as you might go because your boss
- 33:30Speaker 1: is going to judge you. It'd be more fun to
- 33:33Speaker 1: watch her go crazy, and then you've got that on her.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I think for this one, you've got to proceed with caution.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Just don't do some of the things you might do
- 33:44Speaker 1: without her around because, yeah, it's not a good idea. Now,
- 33:49Speaker 1: maybe she gets whatever. Wouldn't you rather her feel bad
- 33:54Speaker 1: about doing that in front of you than you the
- 33:56Speaker 1: other way? That's the only way to handle this. You
- 33:58Speaker 1: just got to be a little bit disciplined.
- 34:00Speaker 4: It's okay.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You'll make it. It's one weekend.
- 34:03Speaker 5: Yeah. You don't think I should just skip the whole thing?
- 34:06Speaker 2: No, don't skip the whole thing.
- 34:07Speaker 8: Why?
- 34:08Speaker 2: I mean, do you trust yourself?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Can you be, can, can, can you be not too crazy?
- 34:15Speaker 4: I can, I can.
- 34:16Speaker 5: I just don't want to be like freaking.
- 34:17Speaker 8: Okay.
- 34:18Speaker 4: But also this could be an opportunity to like build
- 34:20Speaker 4: this relationship with your boss. Like maybe you become better
- 34:23Speaker 4: friends with her and then like you end up always
- 34:25Speaker 4: going out with her and then she becomes like your.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Friend, but not just your boss. Measure, measure your fun. Okay.
- 34:33Speaker 1: That's the advice.
- 34:34Speaker 5: That's a really good way to put it. Oh, okay. No,
- 34:37Speaker 5: I like that.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Well, good luck. Thank you.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Enjoy.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I think that's right. Just you got to go have fun,
- 34:46Speaker 1: but you got to know your boss is there.
- 34:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I'm biased because like I would just be myself like 100%
- 34:51Speaker 4: in front of Beata.
- 34:53Speaker 2: But what if it wasn't Beata? I don't know because
- 34:55Speaker 2: I haven't had a boss since Beata for a really
- 34:57Speaker 2: long time.
- 34:58Speaker 1: But technically Beata could judge that and hold it against you.
- 35:01Speaker 2: She would never.
- 35:02Speaker 1: You say that. She wouldn't.
- 35:05Speaker 2: You say that.
- 35:06Speaker 1: You don't know these bosses. They'll turn on you, man.
- 35:09Speaker 8: No.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Not Beata. Okay.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Okay.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Well, as someone who has experience with more bosses than y'all,
- 35:16Speaker 1: they're not always.
- 35:18Speaker 2: So this happened to you?
- 35:19Speaker 4: You like let loose and had fun with a boss
- 35:21Speaker 4: and then they turned it on you?
- 35:23Speaker 1: No, not that. But I've had bosses that I thought
- 35:26Speaker 1: were great friends that still have to be tough on you.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Well, that's different.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Well, I don't think you trust anybody but yourself these days.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 35:36Speaker 2: That's not a way to live.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. That's so stressful. I'm giving you career advice.
- 35:40Speaker 1: That's career advice.
- 35:41Speaker 4: All right.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Noted. Coming up next, Sisney will tell you what's new
- 35:44Speaker 1: this morning. On air with Ryan Seacrest. Interesting here, before
- 35:51Speaker 1: I pay a bill, it's blowing up on Reddit. I
- 35:53Speaker 1: was just looking at this because some say Gen Z
- 35:57Speaker 1: people cannot actually do some of this stuff. I'm not
- 36:00Speaker 1: Gen Z. I can't do some of this stuff, so
- 36:03Speaker 1: I'm blaming no one. got to watch a youtube video
- 36:07Speaker 1: to figure it out that's the only way i know
- 36:09Speaker 1: how to do most stuff i mean watch it on youtube.
- 36:13Speaker 2: That or chat gbt and.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Then i screw up and i gotta start the youtube
- 36:18Speaker 1: video over they start from the beginning with the same
- 36:21Speaker 1: ad oh my gosh i see the ad ad ad
- 36:25Speaker 1: ad because somehow i need to watch the video good
- 36:27Speaker 1: anyway let me ask ronnie and Ruby there in the
- 36:31Speaker 1: back room. All right. So without using chat or YouTube,
- 36:35Speaker 1: no Google, can you do these things? Can you cook
- 36:37Speaker 1: rice Ronnie? So I can, because EJ actually that does nights.
- 36:41Speaker 1: He taught me how to cook rice, but I didn't
- 36:43Speaker 1: know beforehand.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:46Speaker 1: 73% of Americans say they could cook rice.
- 36:50Speaker 2: That's a lot.
- 36:51Speaker 1: How about changing a baby's diaper? No, I could actually,
- 36:56Speaker 1: I could, I, You could?
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I used to watch a lot of kids when I
- 36:59Speaker 1: was younger.
- 37:00Speaker 3: And I have little sisters, so I can change a diaper.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Jordan, can you change a baby's diaper? No.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Wow, you guys. Come on.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I'm with you. I'm with you. Can you sew a
- 37:12Speaker 1: button on without going to chat or Google? Yes. I cannot.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I actually can. My grandma taught me. Yes, I can too.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Okay. I cannot. I'm with Ronnie on that. Can you
- 37:23Speaker 1: change a tire, Ronnie? Yes.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Oh, sorry.
- 37:27Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 37:27Speaker 1: I cannot. And actually, my tire popped. And literally, our
- 37:31Speaker 1: SVP had to come change the tire for me. Yes.
- 37:34Speaker 2: That's a true story.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Who's an SVP? John Peek. What's an SVP? Oh, wow.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You made John Peek the SVP come change your tire? Wow. Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I didn't know what else I was supposed to do.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Good luck when it comes to raise time. I was
- 37:47Speaker 3: on the side of the road.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Okay. So, Ruby, you can change the tire.
- 37:51Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 1: My dad taught me. And how to change my oil, too. Wow. Jordan?
- 37:56Speaker 2: No, same.
- 37:57Speaker 4: My dad used to work at the tire center at Costco,
- 37:59Speaker 4: so he was like, you're going to learn how.
- 38:00Speaker 1: To change a tire. All right. So he's my only hope.
- 38:05Speaker 1: If he wants to throw down a little lesson for me,
- 38:07Speaker 1: I am not that guy to be able to change
- 38:11Speaker 1: your tire. If we're driving and it goes flat, I'm
- 38:15Speaker 1: hoping you know how to do it or we have
- 38:17Speaker 1: to call AAA.
- 38:18Speaker 4: I can put chains on a car, though, like the
- 38:20Speaker 4: tires for the car if you're going to Big Bear.
- 38:22Speaker 2: You can do that.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I'm not your guy for that.
- 38:25Speaker 2: You can't put the chains?
- 38:27Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I can't do any of these things.
- 38:29Speaker 1: No. How about this? Okay, so not using chat, not
- 38:33Speaker 1: using Google or anything like that. Do you not use
- 38:36Speaker 1: a fire extinguisher? No.
- 38:39Speaker 2: I've never had to, but I feel like you just
- 38:41Speaker 2: see it.
- 38:41Speaker 1: On TV, right?
- 38:42Speaker 2: They pull the thing.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm hoping. Do you know how to use a plunger
- 38:47Speaker 1: in your toilet?
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 38:48Speaker 5: Yes.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Gosh, I do. I can do that too. Calculate tip
- 38:51Speaker 1: in your head. I can do that. Do you know
- 38:55Speaker 1: how to put terracotta roofing on a house?
- 38:59Speaker 4: No.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I don't either.
- 39:00Speaker 2: What about the fitted sheet?
- 39:01Speaker 1: I just, The fitted sheet's a pain, but I can
- 39:05Speaker 1: get there.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I can do that. Oh, my gosh.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Really? One side in.
- 39:07Speaker 2: It's a whole ball. It's just like a ball. You
- 39:10Speaker 2: tuck it in to each side. No, that's what they say.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I'll teach you.
- 39:14Speaker 1: It's frustrating. Oh, good. Okay, so I got a tire
- 39:16Speaker 1: lesson from Jordan's dad, and then Sissy's going to teach
- 39:18Speaker 1: you about the bedding. Great. That's a day coming up.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Paying a bill next week. All right. Southern California could
- 39:25Speaker 1: be in for a very wet winter. We're talking about
- 39:29Speaker 1: this super strong. El Nino this fall and winter. It's
- 39:32Speaker 1: going to probably make history. And that means heavy storms,
- 39:35Speaker 1: flash flooding, landslides. January through March is the window. I
- 39:41Speaker 1: was reading the LA Times. They said you should start
- 39:43Speaker 1: doing these things now. Check your roof for leaks. So
- 39:48Speaker 1: if there is a rain or has been a rain, check, check, check.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Get those fixed because it's going to be a lot
- 39:52Speaker 1: of rain.
- 39:53Speaker 2: We're in that boat right now, Michael. We need to
- 39:55Speaker 2: replace our roof.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Mark, this show is time to go.
- 39:59Speaker 4: I know, but I feel like everyone's going to raise
- 40:01Speaker 4: their prices because they know everyone's scrambling.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Well, do it now. Do it today. Okay.
- 40:06Speaker 5: All right.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Check the leaves and the debris in your drains. Get sandbags.
- 40:11Speaker 1: So you're not scrambling. Get sandbags. Put them in some
- 40:13Speaker 1: storage area. Now, check this for the super El Nino.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Check your trees for dead branches and the weak limbs. Oh, yeah.
- 40:20Speaker 1: So they don't come down. What about your insurance? What
- 40:23Speaker 1: should you do with your insurance?
- 40:25Speaker 2: Which one? Your house insurance?
- 40:26Speaker 1: See if it includes flood. You need to see if
- 40:28Speaker 1: it has flood. All right. What else to do? LA Times,
- 40:33Speaker 1: thank you for doing all the work here. Make a
- 40:35Speaker 1: go bag with water, food, medications, all that stuff that
- 40:38Speaker 1: you know. A bag that's got all your things, your
- 40:41Speaker 1: necessities in them.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 1: And then here's one you should do. I have not
- 40:47Speaker 1: done this. Walk around your home with your phone and
- 40:50Speaker 1: record your belongings. Because if you ever need to make
- 40:53Speaker 1: an insurance claim, you'll have all the exact video record
- 40:56Speaker 1: of what you owned. I did this during the fires.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I was going to say.
- 41:00Speaker 1: So what do we say? Every time it rains. Well,
- 41:03Speaker 1: we needed it. Be careful when we say that now,
- 41:06Speaker 1: what we wish for.
- 41:07Speaker 4: I know.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Because this thing seems, maybe we're just getting scared. I'm
- 41:10Speaker 1: hoping they're just scaring us. I'm hoping that there is
- 41:13Speaker 1: one of those deals where they're scaring us. And it
- 41:15Speaker 1: won't be as intense, but it doesn't look great. We'll
- 41:19Speaker 1: be here in the rain.
- 41:20Speaker 4: They're saying it'll be strong, but it'll just last a
- 41:23Speaker 4: long time. As opposed to like intense, you know, break
- 41:27Speaker 4: through your roof type of rain.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'm going underground. Cool.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Can we come with you?
- 41:33Speaker 1: I don't know where I'll find an underground place and
- 41:35Speaker 1: go under.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I like it.
- 41:36Speaker 1: That's going to do it for us, friends. Rolling out
- 41:39Speaker 1: at KISS tomorrow. It is a Ryan's Roses. Unsolicited and
- 41:44Speaker 1: random advice from her doctor left her feeling very uneasy
- 41:47Speaker 1: about her marriage and thinking perhaps it wasn't so random
- 41:52Speaker 1: after all.
- 41:53Speaker 8: 740.
- 41:53Speaker 1: We've never done one like this. Tomorrow morning, KISS. Thanks
- 41:56Speaker 1: for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure
- 41:58Speaker 1: to subscribe and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
