  And you have all the reporters, you know, reporting in as news

  comes in. And I learned that the other day

  that, you know, they're all sitting home on their webcams,

  you know, on and if you know, on the NFL shows and they have
• 1:35
  cards too. They have cards too sometimes
• 1:38
  that so they can just kind of spit that information out.

  You want to be smooth. So the time change is here.

  And do we welcome it? Do we like it?

  Do we hate it? I just hate the fact that you

  got to get up earlier, but it is what it is.

  So we have to embrace it. Like right now I'm starting,

  this is the first disc pod in a long time that I have to shut

  The the, what do you call those? Those the the blinds the dark,

  the darker, the darker curtains there.

  sunny and beautiful out here in the Sunshine State.

  Carolina. But yes, I was finishing up my

  work day a little bit ago and had to close the drapes because

  it was coming right in. Set the set time of year again.

  Yes, yes, yes, yes. We do like more sunlight on the

  back end though. So little give and take, yes.

  Like we had, we went to to see Starlight and like we're getting

  a position for Starlight and it was not dark.

  It was really weird but it did finally get dark.

  I think it was 815 for Starlight and then 9:30 for half labor
• 3:04
  after and there was only 1 Starlight on Sunday.

  But we went on Main Street. Funny enough, we went on Main
• 3:13
  St. Catherine, got some Starbucks
• 3:16
  and I was like well I'll find a spot.
• 3:18
  And I walked a little bit further down towards Sound
• 3:20
  Square, found a spot in front of the Pandora store and I was
• 3:27
  there maybe 2 minutes and the announcement came over.
• 3:31
  And I was actually worried because it was different than
• 3:34
  the normal pre show announcement.
• 3:37
  And it said that Main Street and Town Square were closed for any
• 3:43
  more guests, that if you wanted to see the parade, you have to
• 3:45
  go to Liberty Square or Frontier Land.
• 3:49
  And I look to my right and there was the, you know, they have it
• 3:52
  taped off on on the ground. I could have fit another 10
• 3:56
  people next to me. So I was like, that's fine.
• 3:59
  You can get people going over there.
• 4:01
  I had I had a great spot straight shot of the the parade
• 4:05
  so. You did and we were watching it
• 4:07
  too. And I don't know why, but I was
• 4:08
  a little bit surprised when I made that announcement that the
• 4:11
  hub and and all that was to capacity.
• 4:13
  Yeah. It was it.
• 4:15
  It did not feel that way, not at all.
• 4:19
  So. Call out my brother there in the

  I also didn't have the better half helping, but so, you know,

  if she's there, she's much better at remembering because a

  lot of times folks that the the stuff is going to be very close

  to where it was the last time, you know, and she wasn't there.

  So I'm like, well, I'm not wasting any more time.

  And you had the stream. So I was trying to help move
• 5:27
  that along. So we just, we just ran through
• 5:30
  it. But yeah, we got there late
• 5:33
  Friday night, early Saturday morning.

  I used my Frontier pass so I got down there for $15.41 it it cost
• 5:44
  me more to get to the resort than to get from North Carolina
• 5:50
  to Orlando. Crazy stuff, right?
• 5:55
  Yeah, so then we we got a a Saturday.
• 5:57
  We went to Epcot, did a little bit of a scavenger hunt.

  We caught some rides, really get in.
• 6:05
  We got in soaring, living with the land, spaceship, earth,
• 6:12
  imagination and something else. But, you know, it was good
• 6:17
  because the girls haven't been there since September.
• 6:21
  You know, I went in December and I went again in January, but
• 6:24
  those were solo trips, so they hadn't been since September.
• 6:27
  So I kind of let them choose what they wanted to do, you
• 6:31
  know, mostly. And Catherine's pretty much, you
• 6:34
  know, I'll, I'll go along with whatever.
• 6:36
  So it was really Finley who got to choose what we wanted to do.
• 6:40
  And she wanted to start with Spaceship Earth, but it was
• 6:43
  down. So we went over to Soren.
• 6:46
  When we got there, it said 35 minutes.
• 6:50
  I think we waited 25. We come out of Soren and it says
• 6:55
  110. I saw that I was walking away
• 6:58
  from the computer, and then I turned back quick.
• 7:00
  I was like, what? What, Tammy, What happened?
• 7:03
  110 I that was that was crazy, but we had we had a good time.
• 7:09
  Then we met up met up with with you.

  We enjoyed first weekend of Flower and Garden Festival, so a
• 7:15
  lot of the topiaries. So the new display in
• 7:20
  Communicoral Hall in Sunday, we did Magic Kingdom already
• 7:29
  mentioned seeing the the parade and fireworks.
• 7:34
  But Finley wanted to do mine trains.
• 7:36
  She normally she does not want to do coasters, but she wanted
• 7:40
  to do mine train. And we looked and it was like at
• 7:46
  one point it was 45 in the afternoon.
• 7:48
  That wasn't, that's not bad, you know, about mine train.
• 7:52
  In fact, that might come up on our on our game tonight.
• 7:55
  So thought about it, 45, it went up to 55.
• 7:59
  At one point it was 65. And I said, Finley, we're going
• 8:01
  to have to wait. I said I got it.
• 8:05
  What if we watch the fireworks from behind the castle and as
• 8:09
  soon as the last fireworks goes off, we go right over to mine
• 8:12
  train? Because you're right there.
• 8:15
  So she was a little hesitant. And then finally she she was OK
• 8:19
  with it. And that's exactly what we did.
• 8:21
  When we got to the line, it said 25 minutes and we waited 1515
• 8:27
  minutes for mine train. So because fireworks for 9:30
• 8:33
  park closes at 10 fireworks or what, 16 minutes if I remember
• 8:37
  correctly. So we got over there at like 955
• 8:42
  and walked on and we were, we were on in 10 minutes and she
• 8:46
  had a, she had a great time. So trust your instincts and
• 8:51
  maximize your time. Yeah, you, you can really learn
• 8:55
  a lot. You can learn a lot from the
• 8:57
  Disney Streamer Network. We've been teaching people for
• 9:01
  going on 8 years I think now on how to make their, their way
• 9:05
  around the parks and manage the parks.
• 9:06
  That was that was the main thing that this channel was based on.
• 9:10
  Let's show people how to do Disney better.

  And I think we do that. And you did say a comment about
• 9:17
  me maybe on Sunday when we were watching that, you said that I
• 9:24
  know how to manage the parks very, very well.

  And I took that to heart. That meant a lot to me.

  I take pride in that. Well, you know, it's it just
• 9:35
  there's so many people that think you can't do Disney
• 9:37
  without a Lightning Lane or paying for the premier pass or
• 9:42
  doing the single rider lightning Lane.
• 9:44
  And there's ways to, I get it, if that's what you want to do,
• 9:46
  that's fine. But Corey's in the park every
• 9:50
  Wednesday and Saturday. Other folks that you know, like
• 9:53
  theme park Giant, I don't, I don't know of another streamer
• 9:57
  that uses Lightning Lane that I can think of.
• 10:03
  Most of us don't, you know, because we go often and we just
• 10:08
  say, OK, well, we'll you know, we'll flip and instead of
• 10:11
  waiting for mine train, we'll do it at the end of the night or
• 10:15
  we'll rope drop Tron or we'll, you know, we'll do something to
• 10:17
  maximize that time. And so I just think there are
• 10:20
  ways to do that without spending that kind of money on Premiere
• 10:24
  Pass. There was somebody that said
• 10:25
  they did Epcot and Magic Kingdom Premiere Pass in one trip that
• 10:31
  had to have been at least $600 a person extra.
• 10:39
  That's crazy. Just don't I I just don't see
• 10:43
  that. I think there's so much to do in
• 10:45
  those parks without having to pay that kind of money, so.
• 10:49
  Yeah, I agree. You can really work it.
• 10:53
  Yeah, yeah. So and then Monday we went to
• 10:56
  Animal Kingdom, we picked up our annual pass holder magnet, we
• 11:02
  saw the new Zootopia show cause Finley and Catherine hadn't seen
• 11:07
  that. And then we caught winged
• 11:11
  encounters. The macaws at the tree of life
• 11:14
  happened to be starting as we were starting to walk away.
• 11:17
  I was like oh wait, we got to go see that.
• 11:18
  So got to see that and then headed over to Hollywood
• 11:22
  Studios, caught Frozen sing along, which is always great.
• 11:26
  Did the villain show. I did Star Tours and was asked
• 11:30
  to leave, which was the first time that I've been streaming
• 11:35
  and been told I couldn't stream something.
• 11:37
  And oh, this news came to me by text and so how?
• 11:42
  Did you react to it? I said I I looked at Catherine
• 11:47
  and I said, I said I can't film because the guy said three go to
• 11:54
  whatever lane, you know, he's putting us in the front.
• 11:56
  There was nobody in the thing and he was putting us in the
• 11:58
  front row and he said, he said, oh, just so you know, you can't
• 12:02
  film on the ride. Why do you think I'm here?
• 12:06
  Like what do you think I'm going to do?
• 12:09
  So I was like, wait, I can't film it because it's not.
• 12:13
  He didn't say you can have the gimbal or he said you couldn't
• 12:16
  film it. That which was different for me.
• 12:19
  First of all, I don't have film. It's not 1987, but whatever.
• 12:23
  So I said, oh, OK, that's that's new Catherine's like, yeah,
• 12:28
  that's that's a first. And so I said, OK, I'll, I'll,
• 12:33
  I'll go. He's like, you can take the
• 12:34
  bypass hallway, OK. And I left and went and what
• 12:41
  waited in the store for the girls to come out.
• 12:43
  And then I guess about the time the ride was ending, Catherine
• 12:48
  text me and said, do you want to, Do you want me to ask?
• 12:51
  I was like, yeah, sure. So she asked a coordinator and a
• 12:56
  coordinator said, Nope, that's incorrect.
• 12:58
  We apologize. And they sent Catherine to go
• 13:03
  get me, came back through the bypass hallway and they they let
• 13:09
  us ride again or they let the girls ride again and they let me
• 13:12
  me ride. So she said, no, that's that's
• 13:15
  just a new cast member who was mistaken, you know?
• 13:20
  And so I was like, OK, great, no worries.
• 13:23
  And that and that proves my point right, that, you know,
• 13:26
  whenever that happens, it's a new cast member and all I can
• 13:30
  imagine is they are the freshest out-of-the-box.
• 13:34
  So they are just trying to do the best they can about their
• 13:38
  job. Oh yeah.
• 13:40
  You know, and it's not, it's not that they're misinterpreting the
• 13:43
  rules. I mean, it's kind of in there, I
• 13:45
  think. But once you've been doing it a
• 13:47
  bit, it's a it's assumed, you know, you let everybody slide.
• 13:51
  And that's why I asked for a manager right away.
• 13:53
  I'm like, I'll mute. I tried to mute, you know, can I
• 13:56
  see, just see talk to a manager, you know, then if the manager's
• 13:58
  like, no, you can't, then it's like, OK, but a manager has
• 14:01
  never said that. Matter of fact, when we did
• 14:03
  smugglers run couple weeks back, they were yelling at me on the
• 14:08
  ride. It was nuts.
• 14:11
  That was crazy. And and then as soon as the door
• 14:13
  opened, when the ride was done, they were standing there ready
• 14:17
  to comp everybody a lightning lane without even discussion.
• 14:20
  Hey, we're so sorry about that. So again, I said it before, you
• 14:23
  know what? What happened behind the scenes
• 14:26
  between them telling us no and the ride ending, you know, so
• 14:30
  matter of fact, that ride took a little while to for us to come
• 14:33
  out. They probably held us there so
• 14:35
  that they could get there and make things right.
• 14:38
  Yeah, real quick now that I think that's true.
• 14:40
  That's true. So it's it's always just a a
• 14:43
  cast member that's new. Yeah.
• 14:44
  And I say that all the time. I'm like, it's, it's got to be a
• 14:46
  rookie, you know? And it turns out.
• 14:48
  That's the way it is. I've seen that that's had that
• 14:50
  happen on Star Tours. He was said to me that he
• 14:54
  couldn't. They wanted him to take his
• 14:56
  gimbal or take the phone or in his case, the camera off the
• 15:00
  gimbal and on his, he's got the pocket 3 and it is screwed into
• 15:05
  the tripod. Like it is much less safe if I
• 15:09
  take it off than if it's on the tripod.
• 15:13
  And so he, you know, kind of like me, just said OK and walked
• 15:16
  away, started to go through the bypass and they kind of asked
• 15:20
  him where you going? And they said he said, well,
• 15:24
  they told me I can't ride. And the coordinator stopped and
• 15:27
  said, wait, that's, that's incorrect.
• 15:29
  You, you're fine. So, you know, good on good on
• 15:33
  them. And if anybody wants to give her
• 15:36
  a cast member compliment, her name is Patricia from
• 15:41
  Jacksonville, FL at Star Tours. She was very, very nice.
• 15:45
  Handled thing very professionally and got us right
• 15:49
  back on the ride. So yeah.
• 15:54
  And then, you know, we finished our day, headed off to back to
• 15:58
  the resort, picked up our luggage and headed back home.

  Got home about midnight and went to work this morning and school
• 16:09
  this morning so some of us are a little tired.

  Oh, I was going to text you around 9:00 because Tammy was
• 16:15
  like, they must be home. So I guess you weren't home yet

  at 90? No, no, no, no.

  Our flight was at 8:00, so we were still in the air.

  Yeah. So we got back to the airport

  here at like 10:30 and then we had to stop and get lunch for

  Finley in the morning. So.

  But yeah, it was good Disney Mickey super fans talking about
• 16:38
  the the the car at rock and roller coaster.

  I did see that. I showed that on the stream on

  Monday that it's now painted. So it's.

  Oh, so you got to see it in person?

  Yeah, kind of a matte Gray with red flames on it.

  So and that may just be the start of the paint and they had

  the full guitar behind scrim there.

  So they're they're working on the on the exterior for sure.

  So excited. You know what surprised me,

  though? Nothing at Launch Bay, like

  other than the sign coming down, the exterior of the building

  still looks the same, like I'm waiting to see something happen

  there and I know that they're working on like the ground.

  You can't really see that because the walls.

  Yeah, they're tearing that up. Yeah.

  But other than that, I don't see much really happening over

  there. So I said, I said there must be

  a ton of work going on inside the building.

  Yeah, because they don't have many more months to go.

  getting that, getting that ready, but we'll see.

  I'm excited. There's some good stuff

  go to Hollywood Studios 10 times and each day is going to be

  right? You have the Jugglers, you have

  that new band Holly Grove, although they don't perform on

  Mondays and Tuesdays, so I didn't get to hear them in

  person. And I really they have a mash up

  of oh man, it's some pop pop song and and Star Wars that they
• 18:29
  do really, really well. So yeah, yeah, that one's good.

  So. We need to bring back the

  actors. We need to bring back the street

  actors. I, I'm, I'm hoping this is the

  start of it. You know, I think they're kind

  of testing the jugglers and holly groove.

  And we saw Mary Poppins, Bert the Penguin, Pinocchio and

  Jiminy Cricket all out there meeting people right in the

  right in front of the the. Wow, Pinocchio, huh?

  Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I mean, Jiminy Cricket is

  starting to become a common character.

  Yeah, I feel exactly, Exactly. Yeah, so I'm, I'm hoping, you

  know, well, especially when Animation Courtyard reopens, I

  think we're going to see some some really cool stuff there.

  I really hope so. If Disney's doing it, it it it's

  at least acceptable. You know they don't do anything

  see Tropical Americas. I did see the La Casita being

  built and that thing is huge. Man, that thing is.

  Oh yeah, it is. We are in for a fun time.

  You know what I realized on Saturday when we went by Animal

  Kingdom from the parking lot? That Tropical Americas is right

  there. That is the closest.

  Attraction. To the parking lot.

  Oh, OK. We didn't.

  We came in on the bus so I didn't notice it but OK.

  I wouldn't have noticed it, but the crane is right there.

  And then it drew my attention down lower and you can see a lot

  through those trees. And it made me wonder, could you

  always see a lot through those trees and see what's going on in
• 20:41
  that land a little bit? But or, or did they have
• 20:44
  something blocking it and, you know, and it came down in the
• 20:48
  course of construction? Yeah, that could be.

  Interesting to pay attention to that once it opens.

  Yeah. So what do we have on tap today?

  So I thought today we'd have a little fun, play a little game

  that takes a while to get on Super Mario or anything over

  there right at Epic? Well, I mean the the right

  we'd call it, but Jacob has studied epic very closely and he

  can tell you what every ride typically runs at what time of

  day. But yeah, Super Nintendo World

  is one of the heavy, heavy ones. Yeah, yeah.

  And ET typically is is not, you know, it's one of the it's, it's

  classic it and it's no thrill ride.

  So people have if choosing Hagrid's over ET typically.

  And then on my side, I have a Peter Pan shirt on and Lord

  knows Peter Pan. That was another ride friendly

  wanted to do on on Sunday. I was like, yeah, I can't figure

  that one out 'cause we, I can't do mine train and Peter Pan on
• 22:32
  the same day cause one of them you either got a rope drop one
• 22:35
  of them and and close out the park with the other.

  And we, we could only do 1. So I was like, I'm not waiting
• 22:42
  40 minutes for Peter Pan. Yeah, Peter, hardly, hardly.

  Let's up. Yeah.

  Yeah, exactly. Part of that is because of the

  loading. It's just, it's a very slow

  loader. It's no pirates, you know,

  Pirates fits I think something over 3000 people in an hour.

  Peter Pan's not going to be anywhere near that.

  And so that's what really is the problem.
