- 4:32guest. This is the amazing Miss Tasmin E Money, and I would like
- 4:40for her to come in her own stress your way and introduce herself and tell
- 4:45us a little about her. Thank you, Lisa. My name is Tasmini
- 4:50Money. I live in a Torrance, California and I'm in life insurance agent
- 4:58working with KEMPA Life. I as a human being, I believe in doing
- 5:04morally correct, I believe in justice. I believe in kind heart, kind
- 5:10hearted people. I just believe in kindness. Thank you, thank you,
- 5:15thank you, and I appreciate you for your willingness to come on this platform
- 5:20today and share with each and every person who will be listening to this broadcast.
- 5:30The title of our podcast today is final Expense. Many people know that
- 5:38in the time of need, we have to do what is best for our
- 5:44loved ones. Today, Miss tasman In Money will be sharing with us a
- 5:48little bit about what final expense is. So my first question to everybody listening,
- 5:59I you prefer it for final expenses, so you'll be asking what is
- 6:03final expenses? Final expenses is when we are no longer here and we need
- 6:13to be buried and do we have do we have the funds? Did we
- 6:17prepare ourselves to be buried or did we prepare ourselves for cremation. Did we
- 6:24prepare for ourselves to leave what is needed for the ones behind? So this
- 6:30is final expenses. Thank you so much. I understand that you mentioned something
- 6:36about having loyalty and compassion. So when a person calls you and they say
- 6:45they are in need of help for the loved ones, that just as the
- 6:48way, what did you do for them? The first thing with me is
- 6:55the only reason that will call me because I will be that agent. Because
- 7:00they will be looking for their final expenses. They will be looking my company
- 7:03to take them to the final expenses, to their last to their burial or
- 7:12or to the cremation or whatever the need they have. So that's when I
- 7:19pick up the phone. I'll call them, I'll sympathize with them, and
- 7:24then I'll do what is needed on my side. I will never say that
- 7:29this is not my job, because it is a part of my job and
- 7:32as a human being, it because it makes me stand right there with them,
- 7:38so that during this difficult time, during the stressful time, I,
- 7:43as an insurance agent, stands strong and willing to do what needs to be
- 7:48done to ease out the pain of my clients. I will call my insurance
- 7:54company immediately notify of the depth and make sure that we have the policy in
- 8:01hand, the beneficiary in hand, and the face amount in hand. Where
- 8:07this policy needs to go. All right, and can you tell us a
- 8:11little bit about why people need to be prepared. People need to be prepared.
- 8:18First thing, this is the final expenses. We work all our life
- 8:24hard. We gave it to everybody. We raised our kid. We some
- 8:30of us raise our parents, some of them raised our nieces and nephews,
- 8:33some of them raise our whole world whoever we could. But at the end
- 8:39we need to be prepared to be buried or cremated as well. So for
- 8:43that we need to prepare. And to prepare we need to buy. If
- 8:50you don't have enough the cash or you don't want to use your cash,
- 8:54you can buy a policy and that policy will take you to the final expense.
- 9:00That's your preparation. And if you have your family, you want to
- 9:05leave something behind, protect your family so they are not in distress. You
- 9:11could leave something behind for them, especially for the young ones. When there
- 9:16is babies in the house. Imagine these babies in the house. There is
- 9:18a wife in the house who doesn't have a job. There's a mom in
- 9:22the house who don't have nothing, but if you had enough protection, enough
- 9:28coverage, that will give them some relief, right And how much how much
- 9:35coverage would you say is actually needed? What's it needed? The coverage needed
- 9:41is depends on you. You have to that you have to You have to
- 9:48decide how much coverage is needed. There is a final experences that that is
- 9:52taken on you. Then how much you want to leave behind for your loved
- 9:56ones not to struggle at least for a time being, so that they can
- 10:01stand back on that feed. So this is something that you decide and for
- 10:05you to decide. I'll be there, i will assist you, i will
- 10:11let you decide. I'll give you the numbers and I'll try to figure it
- 10:15out with you to make it easy for you what is needed and how much
- 10:18you can afford. Okay, Now, what if somebody were to come to
- 10:26you and say, oh, well, we have our money and we know
- 10:31what we need to do, but we don't have a church, we don't
- 10:35have a pastor, we don't have a a preacher anybody to do this.
- 10:41Do you, guys ever provide help with that type of thing. We are
- 10:46an insurance company. We do not provide this kind of help. But for
- 10:50my knowledge, I will definitely jump on Google as a human being, and
- 10:54I will call I'll call some of the church services. Okay. I chose
- 11:01a scripture and it comes from Matthew twenty two and forty four, and it
- 11:07says, therefore, be also ready for in such an hour as you think
- 11:15not the Son of Man cometh. So that in the spiritual sense, tells
- 11:22us that we need to have a relationship with God or Jesus Christ, so
- 11:28that our souls will be ready to go where it's supposed to be. But
- 11:33also in our time, in our day to day, we need to be
- 11:39ready for when a loved one passes away. So the scriptures, the scripture
- 11:45tells us that scripture for a time for us to be ready for God.
- 11:50But it also tells us that because we have to be ready morally for our
- 11:56families. So I thank I thank you so much for being a willing vessel
- 12:03for people that may need the help, people that need to have their finances
- 12:07and orders for families. It's a real blessing to have people that work in
- 12:13your field. I would like to know what happens when a family doesn't have
- 12:22insurance what happens with those bodies when people don't have insurance. So I've been
- 12:28in this business for the last twelve to fifteen years and I have seen it
- 12:31all. There is so much going on behind the scenes. When this doesn't
- 12:37happen, this happens, it's either they do bakely sell, they do kawashi,
- 12:43or or they do a go find me page, which God find me
- 12:48page is very difficult now. And and there is a lot of people who
- 12:52are so ignorant that they left down the loved one sitting in the mag for
- 12:58months once and much my heart cries. I mean, I cannot believe in
- 13:03I hear. I just it tears me apart that they'll say they do not
- 13:09have they do not have the finances for the barrier, they do not have
- 13:13the finances for the final expense. So they're letting their loved ones sit in
- 13:16the mall. They are sitting somewhere I don't know. I to me,
- 13:22I feel like I cannot sleep. We all we all oneer for closures,
- 13:26for closure, the better it is. So in order to do this,
- 13:30you have to be prepared. You have to be prepared for your loved once,
- 13:33your parents, your surroundings. You, whoever you love, whoever you
- 13:37are in charge, and your friends, spread the word around to your friends,
- 13:41to your great great parents, to everyone. Yeah, they have to
- 13:46be prepared for this moment. Yes, and many of us, those who
- 13:52are listening, I know that you can probably recall at least one time or
- 13:58two times a loved one has passed on, and siblings and family members they
- 14:05go on to have arguments and they're fighting over stuff and things they're not in
- 14:11order, and everybody is frustrated. I was talking to Missing Money, and
- 14:16she was telling me how things went when her mom passed, and I would
- 14:20like to know if she would like to share that. Definitely, I would
- 14:24like to do that. When my mama was alive, she was disabled for
- 14:28the twelve years he was in dalysis, and when she was alive, it
- 14:33was difficult. We have seven siblings. It was difficult for the siblings to
- 14:37take care of her. So I became the health caretaker. I was the
- 14:43daughter who supported her, who took care of her, who sat in the
- 14:46hospital's days and night. And I was able to God give me the strength
- 14:52to wake up at five o'clock in the morning to make sure that I have
- 14:54food in the house for my mom. When my mom comes from dalysis,
- 15:00I would go to work, I'll come back, I'll feed my mom,
- 15:03put her in bed, and then I'll go back to work. I do
- 15:07have a son. He took care of her as well. When he went
- 15:09to college, it was difficult. I was all alone. My poor son
- 15:13would take his classes out from the university, come back and go to a
- 15:16community college to help us out. But when my mom passed away, my
- 15:22siblings all came together. There was no argument. We did have We did
- 15:26prepare our finances for the final expenses, so there was no argument about money.
- 15:33There was no argument about who's gonna bury her, how they're gonna go
- 15:37bury her, how they'll do up and raising, So there was no thing.
- 15:41It was very peaceful. We buried our mom and we fulfilled her wishes,
- 15:48whatever the fears. She wanted us to meet together to say the last
- 15:52prayer, and it was really easy because the thing one thing, Lisa,
- 15:56I'm gonna tell you, because money was not in the question, thank God.
- 16:02And that's how that's how we want things to go when our loved ones
- 16:07pass on. The Bible instructs us to do things in decency. And in
- 16:12order, but in order to be decent and in order, we need to
- 16:18prepare for those final days, those final expenses, whatever expenses that your loved
- 16:25ones have left behind. If we start preparing now, then we'll be ready
- 16:30when those days come. Can you give us an example of the difference between
- 16:37whole life and term life? Okay? So I work for KEMPA Life Insurance,
- 16:44and I do self whole life and I do self term life. There
- 16:48are some beliefs, okay, and I want to do morally the right thing
- 16:52for the people. I work in this industry to do the right things so
- 16:57people don't get scammed and there's all lies around, and make sure that when
- 17:03when somebody dies, that even I can rest face fully too. I am
- 17:07thinking that I did the right job so that person can be laid in peace.
- 17:14Okay. So the whole life is whole life, which means there is
- 17:18it will not expire. It's something that's yours. It belongs to you.
- 17:22Whatever pace beilue. For example, if you buy a pace value of twenty
- 17:26five thousand dollars, and if that if that person gets desist, you have
- 17:30the face value of twenty five thousand dollars. Even the person reaches the age
- 17:34of eighty eighty five or ninety I do have clients that have reached the age
- 17:40of ninety six, God give them yes. And the insurance is paid up
- 17:45because there was a policy called pay Life eighty five at the age of eighty
- 17:49five. It was paid up, but it is intact, so they still
- 17:55have their amount. So if something happens to them, they have the insurance.
- 17:59The insurance will live expire. This is called whole life and without a
- 18:03company camp a life. The whole life has a cage value in there and
- 18:07a case surrender. Someday you think, okay, you are fully prepared for
- 18:10the final experences, you don't need this money. You can can surrender the
- 18:14policy. But if you want to leave behind you can make as many as
- 18:18beneficiary as you want. You can leave the money behind. But this is
- 18:21called whole life. So let me explain about term life. CAM life is
- 18:26something that's tam that's for a certain amount of period and most of the terms
- 18:32are at the age of sixty five. So when that I'm just giving an
- 18:36example. If that age you pass at age sixty five, that insurance policy
- 18:41expires, you do not have life insurance. Then you are thinking about,
- 18:45my God, I don't have a life insurance at that age. You are
- 18:49sixty five years old, any imagine. Of course, you can buy it.
- 18:53It's not that you cannot buy it. You cannot purchase a policy.
- 18:56You can buy it, but you are going to pay three, four or
- 19:00five times more than what you would have faded at the age of twenty thirty
- 19:04or thirty five or footy right, So please do understand the difference between time
- 19:10life and whole life. Whole life is yours forever and God give you life.
- 19:15You live hundred years and over. But when it's time life, at
- 19:18the time of the policy, the policy expires, and most of the time
- 19:23life do not have any case value. So whatever you're putting in there,
- 19:27it does not belong to you. You cannot take it out, you cannot
- 19:30get currender it, or you cannot borrow alone. Okay, that is a
- 19:37lot to take in. Prayerfully, we understand that, and if there are
- 19:44any questions where any of our listeners have any questions, feel free to put
- 19:48your questions in the comments. I don't know how how a funeral goes in
- 19:59your culture. Can you explain that to us a little bit? My culture.
- 20:06I am a Indian descendant. I was born and raised in Fiji.
- 20:10I was not born in India, but I was born and raised in Fiji.
- 20:14At the age of eighteen years old, I came to Yes, So
- 20:18I've been here since then. It's been thirty years. And by religion,
- 20:22I am a Muslim. So in my religion, we cannot hold unless it's
- 20:26a police investigation, unless there is a foul play or something, and legally
- 20:32they will not release the body. Otherwise, the minute the body is released
- 20:36by the doctors, the funeral takes place immediately. So like my mom passed
- 20:42away a day before, so it was five o'clock and the next next day,
- 20:48at one o'clock she was buried. Wow, is there a reason?
- 20:55Is there a reason why it happened so quickly? Is that because of the
- 21:00religion or why? Why does this? We believe in We believe in for
- 21:04closure. We believe in the soul and body getting together and reuniting, reuniting.
- 21:11So that's the only way to do is to give them a barrier as
- 21:15fast as you can. Okay, what about what about when you have people
- 21:21that want to come from Afar to be there, they don't get an opportunity.
- 21:27There are options. People who want to do that, they can hold
- 21:30it. They can hold it. But most of the time people will do
- 21:36as fast as they can. But yes, there are some sons and daughters,
- 21:40them close relatives, they hold it. I'm not saying that it's not
- 21:42an option. There is an option. Okay. Now, when when you
- 21:48had done it for your mom, you did it the next day. We
- 21:52did it the next day. Nobody had a problem. Nobody had a problem.
- 21:56Actually, my mom was sick, so my family kind of knew that
- 21:59doctor already. It was an artist. So my family, my mom had
- 22:02a family, most of them in Canada, so they were already here.
- 22:06So our family was already here, all surrounded to the nearest hotels or relatives
- 22:12houses. So it was really we made it was easy. It was easy
- 22:15at the time. Well, I thank God for that. I never knew
- 22:22about the Muslim religion. But I see you guys got it all worked out,
- 22:27and it's for the good because if it happens quickly, then it's like
- 22:33it was very successful. Right, Yes, it was successful the only way
- 22:38you can be successful. It's not only Muslim religion and it's not all Muslims
- 22:42are successful. As well. So I just want to say everybody can be
- 22:47successful if you put a plane, if you put a plan. If you
- 22:51don't have a plan, then you will be running around and you don't know
- 22:53what to do, way to go and where how to do it. But
- 22:57if you have a plan, it will just fall in place. And I'm
- 23:03an insurance agent. I do not ensure most of the Muslims. I'm not.
- 23:07Most of the Muslims are not my clients. My clients are Americans.
- 23:11They have a plan and they have a policy. The minute they call me,
- 23:17I put it in place fast because they are under distressed. They're so
- 23:21stressed out they don't even know where the policy is because that insured that grandma
- 23:26or their mom all that they had never told the children where their policies.
- 23:30The only thing is they know they're very insured with us. The minute I
- 23:34get the call, I just tell them, do not worry about it.
- 23:37Everything that is in my care, I will take care as soon as I
- 23:41can. I'll call my hofice a home office if I have the policy in
- 23:47my own hands. Because I do have I paid, I do have access
- 23:48to a lot of things. I will access it right there. I'll give
- 23:52them all the numbers and anything that I could do to make is as easy
- 23:56as possible for them. On my side, well, I am so so
- 24:00grateful for you. Many of you do not know, but this is my
- 24:06mother's insurance agent, and gratefully and thankfully my mom has been with miss Emoney
- 24:12tasmin Emoney for twelve years and I have never experienced losing a mother. My
- 24:22condolences to you on losing your mother. Thank you. And I just hope
- 24:29and I pray that if the Lord doesn't take me first, that it will
- 24:34be just as easy for me through you. Listen, I promise you I'll
- 24:41make it as easy as I can. Okay, And I would like to
- 24:45know if there was a very special message that you would like to leave for
- 24:51ower listeners, what would it be to my listeners? I don't see plenty
- 24:56your future. Don't be caught off God. There is a lot people who
- 25:02say I'm not dying tomorrow. Death isn't the hand of God? Do we
- 25:07know are we gonna die? Nobody knows when are they dying, and nobody
- 25:12knows how long is their life. So be prepared. Please be prepared.
- 25:18Be prepared for your children, be prepared for your family, Be prepared for
- 25:22your relatives, and be prepared for your friends as well, and spread the
- 25:26word around to be prepared. Very good. I thank you, thank you,
- 25:33thank you. Just as you were saying that, I was thinking,
- 25:37do you have a policy prepares? No, we don't. No, I
- 25:44wish we always talk about it. We laugh about it, but we joint
- 25:47unfortunately. Yes, many of US Americans we take our dogs, our cats
- 25:53and we just bury them out in the backyard and put across up there and
- 25:59that's it. And that's oh, that's what my son says, Mom,
- 26:02what we're gonna do with our our dog. Yes, So this is going
- 26:07to conclude, but before you go, I would like for you to tell
- 26:12our listeners our viewers how they can get in contact with you in the event
- 26:18that they would like to purchase a policy. So so my phone number is
- 26:25three one zero eight eighth zero six eight six seven. Let me put it
- 26:32here as well, three one zero eight eight zero six eight six seven.
