Baylor Falls in Overtime Thriller | Waco News
Baylor’s 2026 season opener ended in heartbreak as they fell to Auburn 17-16 in a nail-biting battle at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Auburn surged ahead early, but Baylor clawed back with a touchdown and a late field goal to tie it. With just nine seconds left, D.J. Lagway threw a game-tying TD to Gavin Freeman — only to miss the two-point conversion that would’ve sealed the win. Now 0-1, Baylor turns to home turf next Saturday against Prairie View A&M, hoping to right the ship. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
