- 0:01Hello. Welcome to the No Guy Coach
- 0:03Huddle for February 24, 2026. A
- 0:06two-minute call from God's playbook to
- 0:09know him better so we can love and obey
- 0:11him more. So, let's huddle up and hear
- 0:13today's play from Jeremiah 17. Judah's
- 0:16sin is written with an iron pen with a
- 0:19diamond point. It is engraved on the
- 0:21tablet of their hearts and on the horns
- 0:24of your altars. Here is what Adonai
- 0:26says. a curse on the person who trusts
- 0:29in humans, who relies on merely human
- 0:32strength, whose hearts turn away from
- 0:34Adoni. The heart is more deceitful than
- 0:37anything else and mortally sick. Who can
- 0:40fathom it? I, Adoni, search the heart. I
- 0:43test inner motivations in order to give
- 0:46to everyone what his actions and conduct
- 0:49deserve. Heal me, Adonai, and I will be
- 0:52healed. Save me and I will be saved for
- 0:55you are my praise. Men, let me ask you
- 0:58something today. Do you really believe
- 1:00your heart is good? Jeremiah 17 says
- 1:03otherwise. That's not flattering. It's
- 1:06devastatingly honest. Sin isn't just
- 1:09something we do. It's something written
- 1:11into us, engraved, deep, permanent. And
- 1:15here's the problem. We see evil clearly
- 1:17in others. And we recognize pride,
- 1:20selfishness, anger, rebellion. But in
- 1:23ourselves, we excuse it. We minimize it.
- 1:25We justify it. Why? Because our hearts
- 1:28lie to us. The heart is deceitful. Our
- 1:31culture says, "Follow your heart." God
- 1:34says, "Your heart is sick." Trusting
- 1:36yourself is not wisdom. It's rebellion.
- 1:39God even says there's a curse on the one
- 1:41who trusts in human strength and turns
- 1:43away from him. And here's the reality.
- 1:46You can't fix what is engraved. You
- 1:48can't self-improve your way out of sin.
- 1:51You can't discipline your way into
- 1:53righteousness. You need a new heart.
- 1:55That's why Jesus came. He lived
- 1:58perfectly. He died in our place. He rose
- 2:00again. And when we repent, believe God
- 2:03forgives us and gives us his spirit. Not
- 2:06to polish our rebellion, but to replace
- 2:08it. God's requirement is simple. Love
- 2:10him fully. Love others rightly. But
- 2:13that's impossible without grace. And yet
- 2:16even after hearing this, we resist. We
- 2:18delay. We excuse. God is patient. He's
- 2:22calling by his word, by his spirit, by
- 2:25conviction. The question is not whether
- 2:27God sees your heart. He does. The
- 2:30question is whether you will finally
- 2:31acknowledge it. Run today's play, men.
- 2:34Ask God to search you. Stop defending
- 2:37yourself. Name your sin specifically.
- 2:40Repent clearly. Stop trusting your
- 2:42instincts. Start trusting his word and
- 2:45live like a redeemed son, not a
- 2:47selfdeceived rebel. Men, sin may be
- 2:50written on a natural heart, but grace
- 2:52rewrites the story. Run to Christ. Let
- 2:54him heal you and give him the whole
- 2:56heart he deserves. If this huddle helps
- 2:59you know God better so you can love and
- 3:00obey him more, leave a quick review. It
- 3:03helps other men find their way to the
- 3:05huddle.
