- 0:39Speaker 1: Great, it's good to talk to you, and we've got
- 0:41Speaker 1: an interesting conversation as always, and we're gonna be talking
- 0:46Speaker 1: about it's a bit of an announcement this morning, and
- 0:49Speaker 1: let's talk about this big announcement that you're making here
- 0:52Speaker 1: this morning.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Matt.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Yeah, we've had something in the works for a while while,
- 0:56Speaker 3: and yeah, I'm excited to announce that you've we're going
- 1:00Speaker 3: live with our new website that allows prospective home buyers
- 1:05Speaker 3: to choose an agent that's the right fit for them.
- 1:08Speaker 3: So it's a Wisconsin Buyeragent dot com.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Wisconsin buyeragent dot com. That's Wisconsin buyer Agent dot com. So, my, Matt,
- 1:19Speaker 1: what what prompted you to create this website?
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, so, you know, buyer agency has always been important
- 1:30Speaker 3: in the real estate transaction, but recently there are some
- 1:33Speaker 3: changes that were passed down by the the NAAR, the
- 1:36Speaker 3: National Association of Realtors, and it's kind of really made
- 1:40Speaker 3: this more of a highly discussed topic recently.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You know, the realtors.
- 1:48Speaker 3: You know, the rules have changed a bit for being
- 1:50Speaker 3: able to show a potential buyer a home, and uh,
- 1:53Speaker 3: you know, there's now a requirement that a buyer has
- 1:56Speaker 3: to enter into one form of an agreement prior to
- 1:59Speaker 3: actually andsuring that door with an agent. So gone through
- 2:04Speaker 3: the days where you know, you're sending in a showing
- 2:06Speaker 3: request and you just walk through the door with the agent.
- 2:09Speaker 2: So it's changed now.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Fascinating. What So obviously, you know, for folks probably hearing
- 2:15Speaker 1: this like that sounds pretty significant. What kind of a
- 2:18Speaker 1: we're talking about? Some of these agreements, Matt, what are
- 2:20Speaker 1: we talking about there?
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, so not Now Bier has to kind of choose
- 2:24Speaker 3: between two The two choices are signing a showing agreement
- 2:29Speaker 3: or a buyer agency agreement. Right, So we wanted to
- 2:32Speaker 3: create a website that kind of helps explain this new process,
- 2:35Speaker 3: helps identify the strengths and then potential weaknesses for each
- 2:40Speaker 3: of those agreements.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That's really interesting and of course you can learn more
- 2:44Speaker 1: on that website Wisconsin Buyeragent dot com. That's Wisconsin Buyeragent
- 2:50Speaker 1: dot com to learn all about the the new the
- 2:53Speaker 1: new way, and of course you can learn more on
- 2:55Speaker 1: that website Wisconsin Buyer Agent dot com. So you have websites,
- 2:58Speaker 1: haven't been to the website Rock Wisconsin dot com, great
- 3:01Speaker 1: website for Rockrealty.
- 3:03Speaker 2: That's R O.
- 3:03Speaker 1: C K Wisconsin dot com. The website will show you
- 3:06Speaker 1: some really great listings and it's fun just to peruse
- 3:09Speaker 1: whether you're looking or you're maybe thinking about looking, or
- 3:12Speaker 1: just looking for a way to spend a little bit
- 3:14Speaker 1: of time. And it's a lot of fun to head
- 3:15Speaker 1: on over to the website Rock Wisconsin dot com. TELFH
- 3:18Speaker 1: number six to eight six seven three fifty four hundred
- 3:20Speaker 1: that's six seven three fifty four hundred. Talking specifically this
- 3:23Speaker 1: week though about Rockrealti's other website, Rock Wisconsin Buyer Agent
- 3:28Speaker 1: dot com. That's Wisconsin Buyeragent dot com. So if I
- 3:33Speaker 1: if I have you know, like we think about the
- 3:36Speaker 1: two different agreements, what's kind of the what are the
- 3:39Speaker 1: what are the differences there? What are kind of the
- 3:41Speaker 1: big highlights to the between the two.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah, uh, the you know, the showing agreement, that's kind
- 3:47Speaker 3: of a the newer agreement of the tree the buyer
- 3:49Speaker 3: agency has been around, but the showing agreement, you know,
- 3:53Speaker 3: some of the advantages there that you don't have to
- 3:56Speaker 3: necessarily commit to that particular showing agent, right, So you agreement,
- 4:01Speaker 3: it's a little intimidating, but in actuality, the showing agreement
- 4:05Speaker 3: is a little less binding, right.
- 4:06Speaker 2: It doesn't even have to include any form of compensation necessarily.
- 4:10Speaker 3: It's just you know, agreeing that this agent is going
- 4:14Speaker 3: to bring you through the home.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And there's you.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Know, it's a little longer document than just that, but
- 4:19Speaker 3: you get the gist of it, right. The negative side
- 4:22Speaker 3: of that is the showing agent is technically not working
- 4:26Speaker 3: for the buyer, not working for you during the showing
- 4:29Speaker 3: they're actually working for the seller.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Was this, Matt, I know, obviously this is something you
- 4:34Speaker 1: work on day in and day out. Obviously the website
- 4:37Speaker 1: is a fantastic new feature and a really informative thing.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Did you see some of this stuff coming through your
- 4:43Speaker 1: through your years and time working in real estate? Was
- 4:45Speaker 1: this something that was kind of on the horizon for
- 4:47Speaker 1: a while and you kind of knew that that this
- 4:49Speaker 1: was this was something that was that was coming about,
- 4:52Speaker 1: or was it kind of like, whoa, wait, what how
- 4:54Speaker 1: did this happened? You know?
- 4:55Speaker 2: I would say I.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Would say that, you know, the conversations of a showing
- 5:00Speaker 3: agent versus a buyer agent has always been there, and
- 5:03Speaker 3: it's always been kind of the back end, but it
- 5:05Speaker 3: hasn't been something that people talk about a lot. It's
- 5:07Speaker 3: more to do with the process and not the pretty homes, right.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, But these.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Changes, they kind of came out of left field for
- 5:14Speaker 3: most of us, all of a sudden, being required to
- 5:18Speaker 3: have somebody sign an agreement with someone they just met,
- 5:22Speaker 3: whether that agreements binding or not, it's just it's a tough.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It's a tough conversation to have.
- 5:28Speaker 3: So that's kind of why we wanted to go on
- 5:30Speaker 3: this website because we want people to be able to
- 5:32Speaker 3: get ahead of.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That and understand it a bit more before having to
- 5:35Speaker 2: make that decision.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I like that when you talk about the process and
- 5:38Speaker 1: versus the pretty pictures, because I'm on the you know,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you know me, man, I love the pretty pictures and
- 5:43Speaker 1: and it's also I love learning new things, and you
- 5:47Speaker 1: talk about the process. And for a lot of folks,
- 5:50Speaker 1: I guess they probably wanted the benefit to some of
- 5:52Speaker 1: these changes. One a huge benefit is the website. But
- 5:55Speaker 1: also since most people aren't, you know, buying, selling, listing
- 6:00Speaker 1: that type of stuff regularly, that no matter what it's
- 6:04Speaker 1: always probably feels like like the first time. It's a
- 6:07Speaker 1: new experience each time. So making different types of yeah,
- 6:10Speaker 1: different types of changes probably for most folks isn't all
- 6:13Speaker 1: that drastic, but it's important to have guidance and understand
- 6:16Speaker 1: how that process works. And that's one of the great
- 6:18Speaker 1: things working with an agent at Rock Realty. You'll learn
- 6:20Speaker 1: more online rock Wisconsin dot com. That's Rock Wisconsin dot com.
- 6:25Speaker 1: There telephone number six O eight six seven three fifty
- 6:27Speaker 1: four hundred. That's six h eight six seven three fifty
- 6:30Speaker 1: four hundred. Yeah, Rock Wisconsin is where you will see
- 6:32Speaker 1: those pretty pictures in the new website Wisconsin Buyer Agent.
- 6:36Speaker 1: That's where you get some information on the process. And so, Matta,
- 6:39Speaker 1: if you have a buyer agent that's working with you,
- 6:41Speaker 1: what does that allow them to do when the show
- 6:44Speaker 1: and a showing agent, for example, couldn't.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Yeah, if you have a buyer agency agreement in place,
- 6:51Speaker 3: you've selected that agent to work on your behalf, to
- 6:54Speaker 3: work directly on your behalf and work with your best interests, right,
- 6:59Speaker 3: So that make it that can make a huge difference
- 7:01Speaker 3: throughout the process and even just on the showing. So
- 7:04Speaker 3: if a buyer agent's actually going through the house, they
- 7:06Speaker 3: can do things that a showing agent could, Like they
- 7:10Speaker 3: can point out negative concerns that they see, you know
- 7:13Speaker 3: that might not necessarily be a defect, but you know,
- 7:17Speaker 3: could affect maybe future negotiations when you're making an offer, right,
- 7:22Speaker 3: And they can do that while walking through the home,
- 7:24Speaker 3: when they can say, you know, previously, I've I've had
- 7:27Speaker 3: this come up, you know with other clients of mine.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You know, when I saw this with the water software,
- 7:33Speaker 3: when I saw this with some pump.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:36Speaker 3: They can also do things like give an opinion on
- 7:38Speaker 3: what they think of the price. Do they think it's
- 7:40Speaker 3: a steal and we should act quickly. Do they think
- 7:44Speaker 3: that it's overpriced and maybe there's some room for negotiation
- 7:48Speaker 3: when I you know, when we provide them with some
- 7:50Speaker 3: comparable sales, right, and you know, they can also discuss
- 7:54Speaker 3: things like customer clauses. So if they are going to
- 7:56Speaker 3: make an offer and say, hey, we've got these these
- 7:59Speaker 3: clauses that we can throw in there that are just
- 8:01Speaker 3: unique to say Rock Realty, We've got buyer agents that
- 8:04Speaker 3: can go through things like that, but only if you
- 8:06Speaker 3: have a buyer agency agreement.
- 8:08Speaker 1: And Matt, I'm gonna ask you more about the website
- 8:11Speaker 1: and just a moment, of course, that website Wisconsin Buyeragent
- 8:14Speaker 1: dot com. That's Wisconsin Buyeragent dot com. Of course we're
- 8:18Speaker 1: talking this morning with Matt Heytman of Rock Realty. We're
- 8:20Speaker 1: going to get into a little bit more about that website.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But one of the things I've got to ask Matt,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I think when you're again that phrase really stuck out
- 8:28Speaker 1: with me. The process versus the pretty pictures? Is it always?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I mean, I've got to guess one of the areas
- 8:35Speaker 1: that is clients. People often overlook is the educational aspect
- 8:40Speaker 1: of being a real estate agent. I think a lot
- 8:42Speaker 1: of us have this vision of what does a real
- 8:44Speaker 1: estate agent do. Well, they list my home, they take
- 8:47Speaker 1: the nice pictures, they put together a really nice description
- 8:50Speaker 1: of the house, the neighborhood highlights some great features. And
- 8:54Speaker 1: that's all absolutely true. And of course on the other side,
- 8:57Speaker 1: they help us narrow down our list for houses that
- 8:59Speaker 1: really fit our lifestyle. But there's also and I think
- 9:03Speaker 1: I think in talking with you and learning from you
- 9:06Speaker 1: and the other agents at Rock Realty, a big component
- 9:09Speaker 1: of what you guys do is education. It's really teaching
- 9:12Speaker 1: people about the process.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, and the way this market changes, the way
- 9:17Speaker 3: they offers and the documents change. Even someone that's just
- 9:20Speaker 3: purchased our soul recently. Really really there's always something to learn.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, with that and with that education and having that
- 9:26Speaker 1: conversation with with and as funny it was at the
- 9:30Speaker 1: at the website earlier today at Rock Wisconsin dot com
- 9:32Speaker 1: and I'm just kind of going through the agents you
- 9:35Speaker 1: guys have at Rock Realty, many different agents and and
- 9:39Speaker 1: you know, we've had a chance to have a few
- 9:41Speaker 1: win studio with us as well. And uh and I
- 9:44Speaker 1: think one of the things that I think we all
- 9:45Speaker 1: remember this from, you know, whether it was college or
- 9:47Speaker 1: high school, or even middle and elementary school, there's always
- 9:50Speaker 1: like that that one teacher that you really connected well with,
- 9:53Speaker 1: that one person that you that you just kind of
- 9:56Speaker 1: remember they somehow there was a connection there. I've got
- 10:00Speaker 1: a guest with with the agents you have at Rockrealty,
- 10:04Speaker 1: there is that that relationship that develops that people find
- 10:07Speaker 1: that just that perfect agent, whether looking for somebody to
- 10:09Speaker 1: help them sell their house or looking to buy that home,
- 10:12Speaker 1: or a bit of both. You guys have have options
- 10:14Speaker 1: for those people and the right person for those jobs.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, there was.
- 10:18Speaker 3: It was another driving factor in creating this website, you know.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I just it's good that there's the right match there.
- 10:25Speaker 3: And that could be many different things, whether you know,
- 10:28Speaker 3: someone has the same hobbies or whatnot, or they just
- 10:32Speaker 3: happened to us focus in that particular area.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Talking this morning with Matt Heytman of Rock Realty Online,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the website, the main website I see all the great
- 10:39Speaker 1: pictures Rock Wisconsin dot com. That's r O c K
- 10:42Speaker 1: Wisconsin dot com. That is one you want to bookmark
- 10:45Speaker 1: always on new listings and great stuff on the website
- 10:49Speaker 1: Rock Wisconsin dot com this week featuring the newest website
- 10:52Speaker 1: with Rockrealtea and it's called Wisconsin Buyeragent dot Com. That's
- 10:56Speaker 1: Wisconsin Buyer Agent dot com. We're going to talk with
- 11:00Speaker 1: a bit more about the website, about a little bit
- 11:03Speaker 1: about having control when it comes to the real estate process.
- 11:05Speaker 1: What that means for you. I'm going to find out
- 11:07Speaker 1: the details from Matt in just a moment, I mentioned
- 11:08Speaker 1: the website Rock Wisconsin dot com. You have a chance
- 11:11Speaker 1: to mention you to telephone. 'mbering you pick up phone
- 11:13Speaker 1: game call. If you're looking to list your home. Maybe
- 11:15Speaker 1: you've just seen something online, maybe curious about a home
- 11:18Speaker 1: that is listed. They'd love to talk with you at Rockrealty.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Oh.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I got to just pick up phone game a call
- 11:22Speaker 1: six O eight six seven three fifty four hundred. That's
- 11:24Speaker 1: six seven three fifty four hundred. Head on over to
- 11:26Speaker 1: the website Rockwisconsin dot com. Do that now. We'll come
- 11:29Speaker 1: back with Matt in just a moment talk a little
- 11:31Speaker 1: bit more about the new website and Wisconsin Buyer Agent
- 11:34Speaker 1: dot com. That's Wisconsin Buyer Agent dot com. We will
- 11:37Speaker 1: do that next is ask the Experts with Rockrealty, and
- 11:39Speaker 1: Matt Heyman continues right here on thirteen ten wuib A
- 11:44Speaker 1: thirteen ten wib A and ask the Experts with Rockrealty.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Hanging out this morning with Matt Heyman. Of course, Matt
- 11:51Speaker 1: comes to us from Rockrealty the website Rockwisconsin dot com.
- 11:55Speaker 1: That's rock Wisconsin dot com this week talking about the
- 11:58Speaker 1: new site and it's a really great tool and an important
- 12:01Speaker 1: thing to help understand the process. That website is Wisconsin
- 12:05Speaker 1: Buyer Agent singular Wisconsin Wi s c O N s
- 12:09Speaker 1: I N Buyer b U I E R Agent A
- 12:11Speaker 1: G E N T all one word, not plural. It's
- 12:14Speaker 1: Wisconsin Buyer Agent dot com. Head on over there right now,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and we're going to talk with Matt about that. As
- 12:19Speaker 1: a matter of fact, the website in particular, let's kind
- 12:21Speaker 1: of break it down and get get some of the
- 12:24Speaker 1: reasoning and some of the some of the thinking behind
- 12:27Speaker 1: why this website is so necessary.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Matt. Yeah, when you.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Look at like the buyer experience today, I mean, it
- 12:34Speaker 3: just it feels like buyers don't have enough control in
- 12:38Speaker 3: the real estate process. Right Like, if you're online at
- 12:41Speaker 3: one of those you know major online portals working at homes,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and you you send it an inquiry to see a home,
- 12:48Speaker 3: you're gonna get randomly assigned to an agent. They're going
- 12:51Speaker 3: to show you the house or the property, and then
- 12:54Speaker 3: most likely that same agent's going to write the offer.
- 12:57Speaker 3: And it just we wanted to design a site so
- 12:59Speaker 3: that buyer can choose an agent right, find an agent
- 13:02Speaker 3: that that's the right fit for them instead. So on
- 13:05Speaker 3: the site they can read through our agents' bios, they can.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Get to know them. As I mentioned, they get to
- 13:11Speaker 2: know their hobbies.
- 13:14Speaker 3: We included a questionnaire every agent in the firm filled out,
- 13:17Speaker 3: which is awesome. I think you can get some answers
- 13:21Speaker 3: for questions like why do you love what you do?
- 13:26Speaker 3: What makes you proud to be a real estate agent?
- 13:28Speaker 3: Give an example of how you saved a deal as
- 13:32Speaker 3: a buyer's agent, or what previous transactions meant a lot
- 13:36Speaker 3: to you?
- 13:36Speaker 2: And why like those those things you normally don't get
- 13:39Speaker 2: to see on a site. It's just like a normal bio,
- 13:41Speaker 2: you know. It gives the ability to actually get to
- 13:43Speaker 2: know an agent what's important to them.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Can you then contact the agent directly through the through
- 13:47Speaker 1: the site. Wisconsin buyer agent dot com.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's an option on there, and you know
- 13:55Speaker 3: they can kind of request a meeting right there on
- 13:58Speaker 3: the agent's individual page.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Oh that is that is a fantastic Uh. When you
- 14:03Speaker 1: kind of break down some of some of the different
- 14:05Speaker 1: questions and some of that, you know, that personalization to
- 14:08Speaker 1: get to know a potential agent, it sounds like, you know,
- 14:11Speaker 1: this is this is a lot different than than kind
- 14:14Speaker 1: of that standard side. I think as you mentioned that,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you know, I think a lot of us are are
- 14:17Speaker 1: are used to that giant leg that big almost feels
- 14:21Speaker 1: like a I don't even know, I would say a
- 14:23Speaker 1: big box. But even that seems more personal than some
- 14:25Speaker 1: of these some of these, uh, these other sites. It's
- 14:28Speaker 1: really it does seem like something that that is a
- 14:31Speaker 1: different for a darn good reason.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, we want buyers to be able to
- 14:36Speaker 3: choose someone that seems like a great fit for like
- 14:38Speaker 3: not only their situation, but there you know, their own personality.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:43Speaker 3: We want we want you to get along during the
- 14:45Speaker 3: process because you know, this site, like I mentioned before,
- 14:47Speaker 3: is more about the process and less about just like
- 14:50Speaker 3: the houses and getting the deal done. This is this
- 14:53Speaker 3: is about you know, finding someone that's gonna be with
- 14:56Speaker 3: you through that whole process, but not just during the transaction.
- 15:00Speaker 3: We want we want that to continue past that. So
- 15:02Speaker 3: it's just like long term professional relationship. Because you guys
- 15:05Speaker 3: got along so well and because you know, your Rock
- 15:08Speaker 3: Realty agent did such a great job for you and
- 15:10Speaker 3: you're so happy and your famili's loving the new place,
- 15:13Speaker 3: that it's going to be this long term thing that
- 15:16Speaker 3: you guys stay in touch and then if you ever
- 15:17Speaker 3: have any real estate needs in the future, Like that's
- 15:19Speaker 3: our biggest compliment we can get is that it was
- 15:21Speaker 3: a great match, we did a great job, and they're
- 15:23Speaker 3: coming back to us for future business.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Do you get a lot of people wondering, Matt, obviously
- 15:28Speaker 1: as we talk about Wisconsin buyer agent dot Com and
- 15:32Speaker 1: the benefits of it and being able to learn more
- 15:35Speaker 1: about potential and a perspective agent to work with, do
- 15:38Speaker 1: you get a lot of people also just kind of
- 15:39Speaker 1: wondering about the kind of the overall information of like
- 15:42Speaker 1: how does like like some of these these things work.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Like I feel like.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Even though you know, I get at the opportunity to
- 15:50Speaker 1: talk with you each and every week, there's always like
- 15:53Speaker 1: every and and for folks that don't know. When Matt
- 15:55Speaker 1: comes into the studio in the morning, I generally have
- 15:58Speaker 1: a million I'm kind of like a like a kidd
- 16:00Speaker 1: asking a million questions. But like I've got to bet
- 16:04Speaker 1: that that I'm not unique in that I've got to
- 16:06Speaker 1: I've got to guess a lot of folks whether they're
- 16:09Speaker 1: whether they're right now listing or buying. A lot of
- 16:13Speaker 1: folks have a lot of questions about real estate, don't they.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very rare that, you know, an individual doesn't
- 16:19Speaker 3: have a question about real estate. Right, Well, how's the market,
- 16:22Speaker 3: what's the latest you know, rates this or the other?
- 16:25Speaker 3: You know, you know, how are homes looking in my area?
- 16:29Speaker 3: That where I where I have a house?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Right?
- 16:32Speaker 3: But in generally the buying side and the listing side
- 16:36Speaker 3: requires going through the process, you know, having a meeting,
- 16:39Speaker 3: having an educated agent that's going to walk you through
- 16:41Speaker 3: all the steps, you know, maybe give you some pamphlets
- 16:44Speaker 3: and handouts that show this nice little roadmap of this
- 16:47Speaker 3: comes first, then this, then this right, and that applies
- 16:49Speaker 3: to first time home buyers as well as people that
- 16:51Speaker 3: have bought five six properties.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:53Speaker 3: There's different things to discuss and always more to learn
- 16:56Speaker 3: in real estate.
- 16:56Speaker 1: As I talked this morning with Matt Heytman of Rock Realty,
- 16:59Speaker 1: the main website K Wisconsin dot com. That's r O
- 17:02Speaker 1: C K Wisconsin dot com. Fabulous new website launched as
- 17:05Speaker 1: well to learn more about the agents, the buyers agents
- 17:08Speaker 1: at Rock Realty. I gotta do this some on over
- 17:10Speaker 1: the website Wisconsin Buyeragent dot com. That's Wisconsin Buyeragent dot
- 17:16Speaker 1: com all singular Wisconsin Buyer Agent dot com. And Matt,
- 17:19Speaker 1: what should a buyer do once you know you find
- 17:22Speaker 1: a good agent on the site we mentioned, of course
- 17:25Speaker 1: there's a great tool you had said that that you
- 17:27Speaker 1: can you can get a phone call. What if I
- 17:29Speaker 1: what if I find a couple?
- 17:30Speaker 2: Is there?
- 17:31Speaker 1: Can can I interview multiple multiple? Okay?
- 17:34Speaker 3: I mean that's the whole concept here is putting you know,
- 17:37Speaker 3: that power back into the buyer's hands and you know,
- 17:39Speaker 3: make sure that they're finding that perfect realtor.
- 17:41Speaker 2: You know it's going to work on their behalf right.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And so at that point, let's say they've they found
- 17:47Speaker 3: a couple agents, they simply you know, you can choose
- 17:49Speaker 3: multiple agents. You request a phone call or a video
- 17:52Speaker 3: call on you say, hey, have this agent reach out
- 17:56Speaker 3: to me and I'm going to interview this agent, right,
- 18:00Speaker 3: And it's not it's not random, it's it's someone that
- 18:03Speaker 3: you felt you're going to be a good match with,
- 18:05Speaker 3: or maybe as multiple two or three agents and you
- 18:07Speaker 3: and you have a quick video or a phone call
- 18:09Speaker 3: interview with them, you know, talk about their experience, their likes, dislikes,
- 18:13Speaker 3: what's important to them, and choose, you know, so so
- 18:16Speaker 3: the buyer can now, you know, choose someone that's going
- 18:19Speaker 3: to represent them and then move forward look at houses
- 18:22Speaker 3: with confidence because they know that they've got the right
- 18:25Speaker 3: person with the right skill set.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's a really it's it's just a fascinating website and
- 18:29Speaker 1: a really useful tool. And Matt, it kind of reminds
- 18:32Speaker 1: me of when we went from the you know, the
- 18:34Speaker 1: old I know you and I have talked to maybe
- 18:36Speaker 1: on the show, but this again one of those things
- 18:38Speaker 1: I've asked you about off the air, which is, you know,
- 18:40Speaker 1: back in the day, folks used to used to find
- 18:43Speaker 1: houses by driving through neighborhoods. Now everybody's doing and finding
- 18:47Speaker 1: these houses and getting their first ideas is through websites
- 18:50Speaker 1: like Rockwisconsin dot com. It feels like for the for
- 18:54Speaker 1: buyers agents and finding a buyer's agent. It's kind of
- 18:56Speaker 1: moving along those same things it used to be. You
- 18:58Speaker 1: know you it was leg work. You physically meet somebody
- 19:02Speaker 1: and oftentimes it was the first one that you met
- 19:05Speaker 1: was the one that you were going with. And this
- 19:06Speaker 1: kind of moves things forward as well. Now you can
- 19:09Speaker 1: do it online and actually get a variety of options,
- 19:13Speaker 1: get to know different agents before you make that decision.
- 19:16Speaker 1: It's a really, I think, a really forward looking concept.
- 19:20Speaker 2: It switches up the process a bit.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, says hey, before we look at the pretty homes
- 19:24Speaker 3: on Rock, Wisconsin, let let's go to Wisconsin buyer Agent
- 19:26Speaker 3: dot com.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Let's make that our first choice. Let's get matched up.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Let's learn about the process, and then when I find
- 19:32Speaker 3: out how, let's let the agent request the showing and
- 19:34Speaker 3: get it all set up. And maybe there's eight showings
- 19:36Speaker 3: in a row you can put together for me or
- 19:37Speaker 3: she can put together for me, and we can get
- 19:39Speaker 3: it all done in a few hours.
