Speaker 1: DJs like the little shows, the hottest DJs from around
• 0:09
  Speaker 1: the world.
• 0:10
Speaker 2: Well another week, Miss l Yes indeed were bat Blacks,
• 0:16
Speaker 2: and welcome to me here on w r TR Real
• 0:19
Speaker 2: Talk Radio. Thanks for coming about. How you feeling.
• 0:22
  Speaker 3: I'm feeling night.
• 0:23
Speaker 2: Actually my name is Marcus Smooth. By the way, my
• 0:27
Speaker 2: name is miss Lyric. Oh so you said you're feeling.
• 0:33
Speaker 4: Yes, I'm quite all right actually.
• 0:39
Speaker 2: So let's do our norm what's your mood? Given?
• 0:41
Speaker 4: This week is a little bit all over the place
• 0:48
Speaker 4: because I have a lot going on.
• 0:52
  Speaker 3: School.
• 0:53
Speaker 4: Of course. First of all, prayers for those affected in Florida.
• 1:00
Speaker 4: My professors are affected, of course, because you guys know
• 1:04
Speaker 4: I'm in school and full Sale University is located in
• 1:09
Speaker 4: Winter Park, Florida, so some of my professors, some of
• 1:15
Speaker 4: my professors had to evacuate. That's right, Yeah, so prayers
• 1:22
Speaker 4: to them. I have like four assignments that I have
• 1:27
Speaker 4: to do this week. Luckily they pushed that stuff back,
• 1:31
Speaker 4: and then I also have a show on.
• 1:34
Speaker 3: Saturday, So just trying to go.
• 1:38
Speaker 4: They've been all right, they've been all right. Everything's been
• 1:41
Speaker 4: coming together so far, so good.
• 1:44
Speaker 5: Okay, and you'mal this week, Oh no, because okay, I
• 1:56
  Speaker 5: don't know.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: It's if you haven't noticed, kind of like a war
• 2:01
Speaker 2: right now going on on like truth and it's like,
• 2:04
Speaker 2: you know, everybody's calling it like a civil war. Things
• 2:07
Speaker 2: like that. People want to you know, I guess people
• 2:10
Speaker 2: are trying to reach for the most tangible thing for
• 2:12
Speaker 2: them right now. But if you look at it from
• 2:14
Speaker 2: a broader perspective, everything that's going on with the media,
• 2:18
Speaker 2: with everything, it's literally a war on information right now.
• 2:24
Speaker 2: It's a war on truth. Like people you know, just
• 2:28
Speaker 2: I mean, you talked about Florida Marury Taylor Green dumbasked
• 2:32
Speaker 2: and got on a platform and talked about how the
• 2:37
Speaker 2: Democrats have control of weather, of the it's what, okay,
• 2:50
Speaker 2: like what, But what just drives it even further is
• 2:54
Speaker 2: that you have these maggots that are actually believing this
• 2:58
Speaker 2: and then telling the rest of us, and when we
• 3:01
Speaker 2: look at them like they crazy, it's just weird. So
• 3:05
Speaker 2: for me, I say confrontational because I keep getting tagged
• 3:08
Speaker 2: in videos. This is the thing. So for me, at
• 3:12
Speaker 2: my big grown forty four year old self, shout out
• 3:15
Speaker 2: to me and my birthday, Yeah, at my very big
• 3:21
Speaker 2: grown age. I've just I've lost the desire to feel
• 3:26
Speaker 2: validated by somebody acknowledging them. Right, that makes sense. Yeah,
• 3:33
Speaker 2: it's sort of like you know, I already know. Like
• 3:36
Speaker 2: when you know something and you know that you're right,
• 3:38
Speaker 2: you don't have to really go any further. But you
• 3:42
Speaker 2: also have people that aren't you know. They It's like
• 3:48
Speaker 2: when they come at you, especially online. A lot of
• 3:52
Speaker 2: y'all like to go online and talk like you know something,
• 3:58
Speaker 2: and then when you're corrected by people that actually know
• 4:01
Speaker 2: something versus just coming back and saying, you know what,
• 4:04
  Speaker 2: that's a different perspective. I didn't think of it like
• 4:07
Speaker 2: that or hmm, didn't know that. Let me look this up.
• 4:11
  Speaker 2: A lot of y'all don't land there. A lot of
• 4:13
Speaker 2: y'all then walk away from that conversation hearing nothing because
• 4:20
Speaker 2: it's not what you want to hear. And then you
• 4:22
Speaker 2: go out and then you want to tag me in
• 4:25
Speaker 2: confidents and little videos here and there with further points
• 4:30
Speaker 2: about what it is that we argued about yonder, Like,
• 4:33
Speaker 2: it doesn't make sense. If you were wrong about something,
• 4:37
Speaker 2: you're still wrong about it. And the thing is, no
• 4:40
Speaker 2: matter how many people you throw at me saying the
• 4:43
Speaker 2: same thing. The facts are the facts. And when you
• 4:46
Speaker 2: know something and you like people always ask me to
• 4:50
Speaker 2: chime in on things because I read facts and it's
• 4:54
Speaker 2: not hard. It's Google, It's right there. The information is
• 4:58
Speaker 2: right there for you. And the thing is, you don't
• 5:01
Speaker 2: have to like when you know something, when you have
• 5:03
Speaker 2: the facts right in front of you, you don't spend
• 5:05
Speaker 2: a lot of time going back and forth with people
• 5:08
Speaker 2: about anything because it's right there.
• 5:13
  Speaker 4: Through that right.
• 5:16
Speaker 2: Say yeah. The Republicans and this whole maga and this
• 5:21
Speaker 2: war on information, they got me feeling a certain way.
• 5:24
Speaker 4: I mean, I feel you. That just goes to show
• 5:26
Speaker 4: like people on social media really want to make their
• 5:31
Speaker 4: opinion fact and that's not the case, like stop and
• 5:36
Speaker 4: then they want to do the microaggressions and send the
• 5:39
Speaker 4: videos and do all of this that and the third
• 5:41
Speaker 4: like come on you you don't have to do all that,
• 5:43
Speaker 4: like take the time to just research.
• 5:46
Speaker 3: The answer will be right there. It usually headed people.
• 5:51
Speaker 2: And they got new things. Now. AI you go on
• 5:53
Speaker 2: Facebook and as sibit anything, I know you like you
• 5:57
Speaker 2: know you'd be like, so is this true? And I'll
• 5:59
Speaker 2: be like girl true like and it will it'll lign
• 6:03
Speaker 2: it out for you anyway. So I think that we talked.
• 6:09
Speaker 2: Did we talk about it last week? Oh yeah, we
• 6:11
Speaker 2: missed the week, so yeah, sorry y'all, but had to
• 6:14
  Speaker 2: celebrate the.
• 6:15
  Speaker 3: Birth absolutely hum.
• 6:19
Speaker 2: So I think we talked about changing the back back
• 6:22
Speaker 2: to when I grow up, I want to be the
• 6:25
Speaker 2: reason that we did this is kind of kick the
• 6:28
Speaker 2: you know, the show off on a positive note and
• 6:30
Speaker 2: be like, you know, I want to be like this
• 6:32
Speaker 2: person when I grow up.
• 6:32
  Speaker 5: Gotta gotta so.
• 6:34
Speaker 2: Don't spit it up in a little bit today, I'm
• 6:37
Speaker 2: gonna tell you when I grow up, I want to
• 6:39
Speaker 2: be like Erica Alexander, the diva Maxine Shaw, attorney at law.
• 6:47
Speaker 2: She is getting her flowers in our article. I read
• 6:53
Speaker 2: the article I'm sorry, the flowers that she so richly deserves.
• 6:57
Speaker 2: Best Known for her iconic role again as Maxine Shaw
• 7:01
Speaker 2: on the beloved ninety sitcom Living Single, she has become
• 7:04
Speaker 2: a cherished figure in the entertainment world. Born in Arizona,
• 7:10
Speaker 2: David I did not know that, but raised in Philadelphia,
• 7:13
Speaker 2: That's what Alexander has a strong connection to the city
• 7:18
Speaker 2: that helps stager. Her talent and charisma have made her
• 7:22
Speaker 2: a staple in household over the decades, and recently Philadelphia
• 7:27
Speaker 2: honored her with the street renaming right there in her
• 7:34
Speaker 2: home city. And yeah, I want to be like that girl.
• 7:39
Speaker 2: I want to do something notable enough to where my
• 7:44
Speaker 2: homeown is. Like you know what, we don't name a
• 7:47
Speaker 2: street after you or something, but I do come from
• 7:50
Speaker 2: a town that has smooth as a street.
• 7:52
Speaker 4: So yeah, I haven't seen a couple of streets from
• 7:59
Speaker 4: my made a name as well. But I'm like, let
• 8:07
Speaker 4: me look real ghetto.
• 8:08
  Speaker 2: I don't like it.
• 8:12
Speaker 3: That is not cute.
• 8:16
Speaker 4: That is hilarious when you grow up, when I grew up,
• 8:22
Speaker 4: I want to be like And I'm sorry if I
• 8:24
Speaker 4: butchered this name because it is an African name, So okay,
• 8:28
Speaker 4: I want to be like the Zombie Mattie, who is
• 8:32
Speaker 4: a twenty nine year old engineer and founder of Genji
• 8:35
Speaker 4: Makers and a Robe based startup turning plastic waste into
• 8:40
Speaker 4: stronger than concrete building materials. By mixing recycled plastic with sand,
• 8:46
Speaker 4: The Zombie is not only creating sustainable solutions, but also
• 8:51
Speaker 4: read defining the future of construction. Her innovative work has
• 8:56
Speaker 4: earned her the prestigious title of Young Champion of the
• 8:59
Speaker 4: Earth period, the Earth of the Earth.
• 9:11
Speaker 2: We out here Kamala controlling the weather. She up here
• 9:14
  Speaker 2: controlling the earth.
• 9:16
  Speaker 3: Work period.
• 9:19
Speaker 4: From that's a young Champion of the Earth twenty twenty
• 9:22
Speaker 4: Africa from un EP, A true change maker. She's showing
• 9:28
Speaker 4: the world how waste can be transformed into opportunity. I
• 9:32
  Speaker 4: know that's why.
• 9:33
Speaker 2: Oh no, that's right too. Whoo all right, I guess
• 9:39
Speaker 2: we're gonna keep the show moving right along. Absolutely if
• 9:43
Speaker 2: it were lyrics. I'm next.
• 9:45
Speaker 6: I want to check in on my Haitian followers real quick,
• 9:48
Speaker 6: because as a Black American I don't find the dehumanization
• 9:52
Speaker 6: of minority groups to be funny. Trump going on National
• 9:56
Speaker 6: TV to tell Americans that Haitian immigrants are eating their
• 9:59
Speaker 6: pet is terroristic. It is done for the purpose of
• 10:03
Speaker 6: a making us view them as subhumans, b making us
• 10:06
Speaker 6: distrust them, and c inviting violence against them, violence that
• 10:10
Speaker 6: is already unfolding, by the way, and from Ohio, and
• 10:13
  Speaker 6: it's actually happening. No, it's not googled a fool. You've
• 10:16
Speaker 6: fallen for racist propaganda. Haitian people are not visibly distinguishable
• 10:21
Speaker 6: from other black people. Illegal Haitian immigrants are not visibly
• 10:26
Speaker 6: distinguishable from Haitian Americans. So for all the people that
• 10:29
Speaker 6: are allegedly eating cats and dogs, please explain to me
• 10:32
Speaker 6: how you can tell that they are Haitian immigrants, specifically,
• 10:35
Speaker 6: especially when there are no police reports to be found
• 10:38
Speaker 6: about these incidents. There is one bodycam video being circulated
• 10:41
Speaker 6: as proof that is of a woman who was alleged
• 10:44
Speaker 6: to have consumed the cat.
• 10:45
Speaker 4: That woman was American and going through psychosis.
• 10:48
Speaker 6: Y'all haven't noticed that the government keeps giving you imagine
• 10:51
Speaker 6: every adversaries so you don't realize that they're the real ones.
• 10:54
Speaker 6: We have been conditioned to view immigrants as interlopers, as outsiders,
• 10:58
Speaker 6: as people that we have to battle for safety and resources.
• 11:02
Speaker 6: We're told to believe that if we simply keep these
• 11:05
Speaker 6: people out, that all of our problems as American citizens
• 11:08
Speaker 6: will simply go away. Meanwhile, the US is one of
• 11:11
Speaker 6: the countries that drained Haiti of its resources and its money,
• 11:15
Speaker 6: making it economically unstable, which drives a lot of them
• 11:19
Speaker 6: to come here in the first place. You're worried about
• 11:22
Speaker 6: immigrants stealing your jobs, baby, that job doesn't even pay
• 11:25
Speaker 6: you enough to thrive in the country that you were
• 11:27
Speaker 6: born in You're worried about being endangered by immigrants, while
• 11:31
Speaker 6: being scared to send your children a school because of
• 11:33
Speaker 6: domestic terrorism by the same demographic that is asking you
• 11:37
Speaker 6: to be scattered at the rants, they're getting all this
• 11:40
Speaker 6: government assistance while Americans starved. There is more than enough
• 11:44
Speaker 6: money to provide for American citizens to shelter the homeless,
• 11:48
Speaker 6: to raise minimum wage, to pay for health care, but instead.
• 11:51
Speaker 4: Our government invests billions in the.
• 11:53
Speaker 6: Cops that shoot us in our homes and the weapons
• 11:56
Speaker 6: that are used to commit genocide. And while y'all battle
• 11:59
Speaker 6: this place people for crumbs, the politicians eat well baby,
• 12:03
Speaker 6: And I ain't talking about no fucking pets.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: You should, but definitely she would.
• 12:12
Speaker 4: Okay, what's going on you guys at your girl mess lyric?
• 12:15
Speaker 4: And I'm back with my segment if it were lyric,
• 12:18
Speaker 4: where I talk about relationship, friendship, situationship advice, and I
• 12:24
Speaker 4: give my two cents. If you guys want to continue
• 12:28
Speaker 4: sending me your advice questions, please do not hesitate to
• 12:31
Speaker 4: send me an email at the Provido at gmail dot
• 12:34
Speaker 4: com or dm me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
• 12:41
  Speaker 3: And let's begin.
• 12:44
Speaker 2: My go on. First, in you you.
• 12:46
Speaker 4: Can go first because this second one's a doozy.
• 12:50
Speaker 2: Well, we can do. And I got one from subject
• 12:54
Speaker 2: line read concern for my family during Hurricane Milton, so
• 12:59
Speaker 2: that one it says dear lyrics. I'm reaching out with
• 13:04
Speaker 2: the heavy heart as Hurricane Milton approaches, and I'm feeling
• 13:07
Speaker 2: overwhelmed with concern for my family. We don't have much money,
• 13:12
Speaker 2: and the thought of evacuating feels draining, especially since my
• 13:18
Speaker 2: family has always been resilient during past hurricanes. They believe
• 13:24
Speaker 2: they can ride this one out as they have with
• 13:26
Speaker 2: the years of storms before. But something about this particular
• 13:29
Speaker 2: hurricane doesn't sit right with me. I've seen the news
• 13:33
Speaker 2: reports and the warnings, and my gut is telling me
• 13:36
Speaker 2: that this storm could be different. My family tends to
• 13:39
Speaker 2: brush off my concerns, insisting they've weathered worse and they'll
• 13:43
Speaker 2: be fine, but I can't shape the feeling that this
• 13:46
Speaker 2: time could be dangerous. I want to respect their choices,
• 13:49
Speaker 2: but I'm terrified for their safety. I know we don't
• 13:51
Speaker 2: have a lot of resources, but I can't help. But
• 13:55
Speaker 2: wonder if there's something more I can do to protect them.
• 14:00
Speaker 2: If it were you in this situation, what would you do?
• 14:02
Speaker 2: How would you convince loved ones to take a potential
• 14:05
Speaker 2: threat seriously when they're so set on staying foot. I
• 14:10
Speaker 2: appreciate any advice you could share to help me navigate
• 14:13
Speaker 2: through this tough situation. Thank you for taking the time
• 14:15
Speaker 2: to read my letter. I love the insights you bring
• 14:17
Speaker 2: to the podcast and hope to hear your thoughts on
• 14:20
Speaker 2: this warm reguard Jennifer. Oh, Jennifer didn't say where she
• 14:25
  Speaker 2: is from.
• 14:27
Speaker 4: I'm right, Jennifer, Well, if you are from the area,
• 14:31
  Speaker 4: I can't stress enough evacuate if it's possible. If it's
• 14:37
Speaker 4: not possible, do whatever you can to find the safest
• 14:40
Speaker 4: place that you can and stress that to your loved ones.
• 14:44
Speaker 4: I understand that everybody doesn't have the resources or finances
• 14:49
Speaker 4: to just get up and go. Some people don't even
• 14:52
Speaker 4: have a vehicle to even do that. I'm not sure
• 14:58
Speaker 4: what they're doing down there, if they're providing like buses
• 15:00
Speaker 4: to get out of town or whatever the case may be,
• 15:04
Speaker 4: but that's one of the things.
• 15:05
  Speaker 2: That I would.
• 15:08
Speaker 4: At least give them if that's something that you know
• 15:12
Speaker 4: what I'm saying that they're doing. Give the information and
• 15:16
Speaker 4: the best thing that you can do is just pray
• 15:18
Speaker 4: over the situation, because when it comes to older people,
• 15:24
Speaker 4: people tend to get set in their ways about things.
• 15:27
  Speaker 4: I'm not moving, I'm fine.
• 15:30
Speaker 2: This that the hurricane.
• 15:33
Speaker 4: The hurricane ain't gonna do nothing, you know what I'm saying,
• 15:35
Speaker 4: Like people tend to get set in their ways. The
• 15:38
Speaker 4: only thing that you can do is send positive vibes,
• 15:41
Speaker 4: pray that you know everybody will be safe, and send
• 15:47
Speaker 4: that whatever information that you can as far as resources.
• 15:50
Speaker 4: But unfortunately, that's all you can do. That's what I
• 15:54
Speaker 4: would do, because you can't make somebody do something. As
• 15:57
Speaker 4: much as you want to, you can't make somebody do something.
• 16:02
Speaker 4: It's up to them to, you know, make that decision
• 16:05
Speaker 4: for themselves. So whatever resources that you find, send that
• 16:10
Speaker 4: information and just pray for the best. Oh my heart
• 16:13
Speaker 4: goes out everybody safety.
• 16:21
Speaker 2: Because my heart goes out on that, because y'all are
• 16:23
Speaker 2: whoa I mean, I've just been reading the reports and
• 16:27
Speaker 2: they're saying that this is the worst one yet and
• 16:31
Speaker 2: they had some doozies already, so it's just like wow.
• 16:36
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, some of my mutuals on Facebook are
• 16:40
Speaker 4: saying that they're gonna end up staying and trying to
• 16:45
Speaker 4: ride it out, you know, and they're like in the
• 16:48
Speaker 4: direct path. So I'm just like, hmm, I just pray
• 16:51
Speaker 4: that everything goes well for them, you know what I'm saying.
• 16:54
  Speaker 3: Like, it's hard, it's hard. It's hard.
• 17:00
Speaker 4: It's a tough situation to be in, all right. This
• 17:05
Speaker 4: next one is very long, so y'all bear with me
• 17:12
Speaker 4: as I read it. It says, dear lyric I'm sorry
• 17:17
Speaker 4: in advance, but this is a little long, and it
• 17:20
Speaker 4: is it's a lot to unpack, so please understand when
• 17:24
Speaker 4: you read this. I have to remain anonymous, but I
• 17:31
Speaker 4: was listening to your advice last week to the woman
• 17:35
Speaker 4: that was essayed, and.
• 17:37
Speaker 3: I feel that you would give me advice too.
• 17:41
Speaker 4: It's been a very emotional and difficult time for me lately.
• 17:46
Speaker 4: And here is why. I have been married to my
• 17:48
Speaker 4: wonderful partner for four amazing years. We met in college
• 17:52
Speaker 4: and dated, graduated, lost touch, found each other again, and
• 17:57
Speaker 4: it's been magical ever since.
• 18:00
Speaker 3: I feel horrible for what.
• 18:01
Speaker 4: I'm going to say next, but here it is. My
• 18:05
Speaker 4: partner had to have surgery this past January and everything
• 18:09
Speaker 4: went well, so we thought. Over the summer, we received
• 18:13
Speaker 4: a letter stating that my partner was possibly exposed to
• 18:17
Speaker 4: hepatitis B and or HIV. Because of apciologists, we were
• 18:26
Speaker 4: advised to get my partner tested as soon as possible. Well,
• 18:31
Speaker 4: my worst fear has come to pass. My partner is
• 18:34
Speaker 4: positive for h I am negative.
• 18:39
Speaker 2: You scasping, I'm so sorry, but this happened to like
• 18:47
Speaker 2: the yellow toel letters that Jesus.
• 18:52
Speaker 4: My partner is positive, but I am negative. We use
• 18:55
Speaker 4: condoms and other forms of birth control. The issue I'm
• 18:59
Speaker 4: having it is we were going to start trying for
• 19:02
Speaker 4: a child once they've healed from the procedure. I'm devastated
• 19:07
Speaker 4: and I feel that my life has been ripped apart.
• 19:11
Speaker 4: I love my partner, but I had dreams of being
• 19:13
Speaker 4: a mom, experiencing pregnancy, giving birth, etc. I have resentful
• 19:20
Speaker 4: feelings that I feel guilty about because I know it's
• 19:23
Speaker 4: not my partner's fault. It doesn't help that our families
• 19:26
Speaker 4: are asking about grandkids. We haven't told anyone this happened yet,
• 19:31
Speaker 4: and I'm not ready to. I feel that my family
• 19:34
Speaker 4: will try to pressure me to leave and take this
• 19:37
  Speaker 4: as a sign. I just don't know.
• 19:39
  Speaker 2: What to do.
• 19:40
Speaker 3: Lyric, please help me.
• 19:44
  Speaker 2: Wow, and I.
• 19:45
Speaker 4: Have to pause for a minute, because yes, this was
• 19:50
Speaker 4: a lot. Those feelings are normal. First and foremost, I
• 20:01
Speaker 4: understand that you feel resentment, but the resentment should not
• 20:07
Speaker 4: be misplaced. The resentment should be towards the anesthesiologist who
• 20:15
Speaker 4: did this to your partner, not your partner. It is
• 20:20
Speaker 4: in no way to shape or form your partner's fault,
• 20:23
Speaker 4: and I think you understand that. But we need to
• 20:26
Speaker 4: make sure that these feelings are not misplaced, first and foremost. Secondly,
• 20:32
Speaker 4: if you're going to stay with your partner, you need
• 20:37
Speaker 4: to make sure that you understand how to move forward.
• 20:45
Speaker 4: There are medications for him that he can take and
• 20:50
Speaker 4: that you can take as well. I believe you could
• 20:52
  Speaker 4: take prep AM.
• 20:53
Speaker 2: I right, that is correct.
• 20:57
Speaker 4: If you want to move forward in this relationships. As
• 21:00
Speaker 4: far as having children, there are other options. You could
• 21:05
Speaker 4: still have a baby, it just won't be by your partner.
• 21:10
Speaker 4: You can adopt, You can have the option of doing
• 21:15
Speaker 4: IVF where you get a donor. That is just a
• 21:18
Speaker 4: conversation that you and your partner is going to have
• 21:22
Speaker 4: to have moving forward in regards to children and how
• 21:30
Speaker 4: this affects you and him moving forward. If that's a
• 21:33
Speaker 4: decision that he agrees with, as far as your family
• 21:39
Speaker 4: is involved, I really went in place too much on
• 21:43
Speaker 4: what their opinion is about the situation unless you're having
• 21:47
Speaker 4: these feelings of you wanting to leave, and from what
• 21:51
Speaker 4: I gathered, it doesn't sound like that. It just sounds
• 21:54
Speaker 4: like you're in this grieving mode, which is perfectly normal.
• 22:00
Speaker 4: I just want to make sure that your feelings aren't misplaced. Definitely,
• 22:06
  Speaker 4: lawyer up.
• 22:09
  Speaker 2: For that.
• 22:11
  Speaker 4: Get a lawyer.
• 22:13
Speaker 2: Pay. But I meant going because.
• 22:18
Speaker 4: Even if even if you you all do decide to
• 22:22
Speaker 4: have a baby, IVF is very expensive, very expensive if
• 22:28
Speaker 4: you have to pay out of pocket because some insurances
• 22:31
Speaker 4: do not cover that. But you have that option. Definitely
• 22:36
Speaker 4: talk to your partner about this. If you want to
• 22:40
Speaker 4: tell your family, make sure that you have a long
• 22:43
Speaker 4: conversation with your partner about what you're going to say,
• 22:46
Speaker 4: how you're going to say it, and let the chips
• 22:50
Speaker 4: fall where they may. If the people have opinions, oh well,
• 22:54
Speaker 4: it doesn't matter because at the end of the day,
• 22:55
Speaker 4: it's about what you and your partner have going on.
• 23:02
Speaker 2: I mean, you also need to just realize there are
• 23:05
Speaker 2: also other options in the event that you know, well,
• 23:08
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, there are options of him being a father
• 23:12
Speaker 2: even with HIV. Like La said earlier, there's prep if
• 23:16
Speaker 2: he's undetectable, you know, you can still father a job
• 23:20
Speaker 2: and not pass a viral load. Like there are options
• 23:23
Speaker 2: for you. But like she said, that's that is to
• 23:26
  Speaker 2: consult a mental health I'm sorry, a mental health I'm
• 23:28
Speaker 2: so used to saying that on the show.
• 23:30
Speaker 3: And we're gonna talk about that later, we will.
• 23:33
Speaker 2: But to consult a health professional about especially one that
• 23:39
Speaker 2: specializes in this. Yeah, that's a lot to deal with,
• 23:44
Speaker 2: and that's a lot for you to work through. So
• 23:47
Speaker 2: I hope that you do have ah a mental health
• 23:51
Speaker 2: professional that can help you work through that. I knew
• 23:54
Speaker 2: it was gonna pop up somewhere.
• 23:56
Speaker 4: Yep, and all of these feelings that you have, it
• 23:59
Speaker 4: is definitely beneficial for you to talk to somebody about it.
• 24:02
Speaker 4: Even if you have to have couple's therapy. You guys
• 24:05
Speaker 4: can do it together, because I'm sure your partner has
• 24:08
Speaker 4: some feelings too this. It was something done to him,
• 24:12
Speaker 4: you know, and I know that if it were me,
• 24:17
Speaker 4: I would definitely feel some type of way about it.
• 24:20
Speaker 4: So yes, do the work so you can move forward.
• 24:26
Speaker 4: I hope this works out for the best of you all,
• 24:31
Speaker 4: and I hope that I helped with my advice. And
• 24:35
Speaker 4: that is basically it for this week. You guys keep
• 24:39
Speaker 4: sending me your advice questions to my email again that
• 24:42
Speaker 4: is Lyric Bravado at gmail dot com, or feel free
• 24:45
Speaker 4: to DM me on my social media platforms, which is Twitter,
• 24:50
  Speaker 4: Instagram or Facebook.
• 24:56
Speaker 2: Up next, what is it? Speaking of? What? That's what
• 25:00
Speaker 2: we've renamed it to? Are we married to? Speaking of?
• 25:03
  Speaker 4: What?
• 25:04
Speaker 2: Are we married to?
• 25:04
  Speaker 7: That?
• 25:05
Speaker 2: Before I make like a drop and everything for it
• 25:07
Speaker 2: because right now this Charla.
• 25:13
Speaker 4: I kind of like Troland, But I mean it doesn't matter.
• 25:16
Speaker 2: I mean, if you want, okay, we'll call it Trolon.
• 25:19
Speaker 2: But then we're like, you know, speaking of which whatever,
• 25:24
Speaker 2: We'll be right back.
• 25:25
Speaker 8: How did we go from fighting a revolution over a
• 25:28
Speaker 8: two percent tax on a breakfast beverage to what we
• 25:30
Speaker 8: pay today? And we're taxed on money when we receive it,
• 25:34
Speaker 8: when we spend it, when we keep it, when we
• 25:36
Speaker 8: invest it, and even when we.
• 25:37
Speaker 9: Die with it. It gets worse. We commute to work
• 25:40
Speaker 9: to make that money in the car that is taxed
• 25:42
Speaker 9: again to register on roads we're already taxed to build
• 25:45
Speaker 9: fueled by gas that is taxed even further, and many
• 25:48
Speaker 9: times through tolls that tax you again to that's to
• 25:51
Speaker 9: maintain bridges and highways and tunnels that already have billions
• 25:53
Speaker 9: of dollars taxpayer dollars allocated to them, and they're still
• 25:57
Speaker 9: falling apart. And then when you get to your office
• 26:00
Speaker 9: that is taxed to exist in a corporation that is
• 26:03
Speaker 9: also taxed to do business that almost certainly requires permits
• 26:06
Speaker 9: and other things which are another tax. You are paid
• 26:09
Speaker 9: a paycheck that the corporation muscht match another payroll tax
• 26:13
Speaker 9: on top of what they have to pay you. Then
• 26:15
Speaker 9: you go to a home of which you are taxed
• 26:17
Speaker 9: to own every single year that we bought with money
• 26:19
Speaker 9: that the government already taxed us on. Oh, by the way,
• 26:22
Speaker 9: the more money you make and the more you pay
• 26:24
Speaker 9: in taxes warrants the government taking more and even higher
• 26:28
Speaker 9: percentages of your money.
• 26:32
Speaker 2: Well, it has been a week, hasn't it, miss Lyric.
• 26:36
Speaker 4: Absolutely, it's been crazy.
• 26:39
Speaker 2: But you know what last week? Okay, so I wanted
• 26:42
Speaker 2: to you know, I texted you earlier in the week
• 26:46
Speaker 2: last week and I was like, you.
• 26:46
Speaker 3: Sure you don't want to do stuff?
• 26:48
Speaker 2: Because after the debate, that's it. It just it's sit
• 26:52
Speaker 2: in spirals. Did you see did you watch it?
• 26:56
Speaker 4: Which one the presidents are?
• 26:57
  Speaker 3: Vice president?
• 26:59
  Speaker 2: Vice president?
• 27:00
Speaker 4: I did not watch the vice president because the presidential
• 27:03
Speaker 4: one threw me so bad. I didn't want to know,
• 27:09
Speaker 4: watch and see any shenanigans with the vice presidents. I
• 27:13
Speaker 4: did not watch it.
• 27:15
Speaker 2: Well, I mean they were polar opposite as far as disposition,
• 27:18
Speaker 2: Like Donald Trump literally got up there and sounded like
• 27:20
Speaker 2: a blithering idiot. I mean, okay, Vance did too, but
• 27:24
  Speaker 2: Vance sounded like a It's like I'm a liar. He
• 27:29
Speaker 2: sounded like the average steamy ass of colonizing. You know
• 27:38
Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like he sounded like that, and it
• 27:41
Speaker 2: was just given those vibes. But yeah, it was pretty bad. Alrighty,
• 27:46
Speaker 2: let's get into this mess for this week. Yes, let's see.
• 27:53
Speaker 2: I guess I will start it off by saying, rest
• 27:56
Speaker 2: in power. The sissy Houston, I mean, where is everybody going?
• 28:03
Speaker 2: Did you do that whole scale about James amos h.
• 28:09
Speaker 4: Oh, hold on, hold on with the daughter? Yes, yes,
• 28:13
Speaker 4: I did actually hear about that. She ain't talked to
• 28:15
Speaker 4: that man in forty days, in forty nights.
• 28:20
Speaker 2: But here's the thing, so I'm sorry, John Amos. Here's
• 28:24
Speaker 2: the thing. He passed away last month. I'm sorry. He
• 28:28
Speaker 2: passed away in August, the month after last before last.
• 28:33
Speaker 2: So it was like, dude, he passed away, nobody knew,
• 28:38
Speaker 2: nobody informed anybody, and then there was just this back
• 28:41
Speaker 2: and forth family. There was all this nonsense and drama.
• 28:44
Speaker 2: But whoo anyway, Sissy, I can never stay on top
• 28:48
Speaker 2: of it. Houston power out, heartbreaking moment for the music world.
• 28:54
Speaker 2: I'm telling you, she's the beloved mother of the late
• 28:57
Speaker 2: Whitney Houston and the celebrated gospel singer. She passed away
• 29:01
Speaker 2: at age twenty one on October seventh. She died peacefully
• 29:05
Speaker 2: at her home in New Jersey, while under hospice care
• 29:08
Speaker 2: for Alzheimer's disease, surrounded by our family. She began her
• 29:13
Speaker 2: illustrious career as a young girl performing in a family
• 29:17
Speaker 2: gospel act and gained prominence in the nineteen sixties as
• 29:20
Speaker 2: a member of the Sweet Inspiration and she worked with
• 29:26
Speaker 2: artists like Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding. I mean
• 29:30
Speaker 2: she has over six hundred songs. This woman has a catalog,
• 29:34
Speaker 2: Yes she did, and I mean and she's the mother
• 29:38
Speaker 2: of the late great Whitney. Also so the voice, the
• 29:41
Speaker 2: voice one that all of y'all wish you could be. Well,
• 29:47
Speaker 2: I mean, not the situation, but you.
• 29:50
Speaker 3: Know, yeah, I saw that.
• 29:52
Speaker 4: I'm amazed at how many people did not know Dionne
• 29:55
Speaker 4: Warwick was her niece.
• 29:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, her whole family. How okay, now, nah, this is America.
• 30:06
Speaker 4: Because she got on there and said, I'm so deeply sad.
• 30:09
Speaker 4: And however, knowing that my aunt Sissy died peacefully and
• 30:13
Speaker 4: that she is in a much better place is consolation
• 30:17
Speaker 4: and comfort to me. I have seen your messages of
• 30:19
Speaker 4: condolences on behalf of my family. Thank you, And all
• 30:23
Speaker 4: up underneath her posts people talking about some what I
• 30:27
Speaker 4: didn't know Dionne Warwick.
• 30:28
Speaker 3: Was related to her?
• 30:29
  Speaker 4: This?
• 30:29
Speaker 3: That, and third? How come you did not know? Like
• 30:31
  Speaker 3: information highway. Hello.
• 30:34
Speaker 2: It's a lot of stuff that people don't know that
• 30:37
Speaker 2: I'm finding out that I don't know. Maybe this is
• 30:40
Speaker 2: the thing of where when you get old, you'd be like,
• 30:44
Speaker 2: you know, you know, how like your grandmother and stuff.
• 30:46
Speaker 2: They'd be bitching at you about something. You'd be like,
• 30:48
Speaker 2: how I'm supposed to know about that that happened back
• 30:51
  Speaker 2: in this?
• 30:51
  Speaker 3: That?
• 30:51
Speaker 2: And the third Yo, they call us, they say that
• 30:54
Speaker 2: happened back in the nineteen hundreds of outus. Now like,
• 30:58
Speaker 2: come on, I'm just saying, oh, okay, I don't have
• 31:04
Speaker 2: a speaking of which that Let'm just leave that alone
• 31:07
Speaker 2: and just say I speaking of okay, speaking of that's
• 31:16
Speaker 2: not it either say speaking of better things, but okay
• 31:19
  Speaker 2: speaking about.
• 31:20
Speaker 4: No no, no, no, no, no no no. Let's get this out
• 31:22
Speaker 4: the way speaking, let's talk about Giddy.
• 31:26
  Speaker 3: Let's talk about.
• 31:28
Speaker 4: The lady who is suing him, dally A Graves, who
• 31:31
Speaker 4: found the lawsuit alleging that she was raped and the
• 31:35
Speaker 4: incident was recorded. Well, let's all pump your brakes because
• 31:41
Speaker 4: ms Mama's ex boyfriend said at at incorrect mm, she
• 31:47
Speaker 4: tried to offer him money to back her story. Check
• 31:52
Speaker 4: and guess at all because I did a little bit
• 31:58
  Speaker 4: more digging.
• 31:59
Speaker 2: Well wait, there's more, there's more.
• 32:04
Speaker 4: Puffs uh p Diddy's oh ex security was also asked
• 32:11
Speaker 4: to corroborate a story by this woman whom that's so crazy.
• 32:19
Speaker 4: He did an interview with I think the lad TV
• 32:24
Speaker 4: and he showed the text messages. Now, now mind you,
• 32:29
Speaker 4: it didn't have a name, but the person was like,
• 32:32
Speaker 4: is your name? So and so well, I will give
• 32:37
Speaker 4: you this amount of money if you corroborate my story
• 32:41
Speaker 4: saying that Diddy did this, that and the third.
• 32:45
Speaker 2: So they are paying people off to just make up
• 32:50
  Speaker 2: stories or.
• 32:53
Speaker 4: Just the kicker during the time, because she ended up
• 32:57
Speaker 4: and he ended up cussing that cussing that person out
• 32:59
Speaker 4: who texts him? So she named him as somebody who
• 33:06
Speaker 4: was there when this happened. Here's the kicker though he
• 33:10
Speaker 4: had he brought the seats. He wasn't even working for him.
• 33:14
  Speaker 3: At that time.
• 33:16
Speaker 2: Who listen. Okay, here's the thing I get. How y'all
• 33:22
Speaker 2: gotta make money any way you can. It's hard out here,
• 33:25
Speaker 2: it really is. But what are y'all doing? Really?
• 33:29
Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody trying to profit? That's why it makes it
• 33:33
Speaker 4: pisces me off because it makes it that much harder
• 33:36
Speaker 4: for the real victims to be believed.
• 33:38
Speaker 2: It really does. That. That's so true. I'm over okay,
• 33:46
Speaker 2: all right, well speaking of I'm not going to say that.
• 33:54
Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm in a confrontational mood. So all
• 33:57
Speaker 2: of the things that I say are like, hey, full
• 33:58
Speaker 2: of me? All right, all right, speaking of good things
• 34:05
Speaker 2: that are not happening anywhere else. But in this particular story,
• 34:10
Speaker 2: Biden has you know, President Biden has dropped a game
• 34:16
Speaker 2: changing plan to tackle the lead pipe situation here in
• 34:22
Speaker 2: the US. So all the you know, all the lead
• 34:28
Speaker 2: pipes and stuff. He's trying to make a plan to
• 34:30
Speaker 2: where they're replaced, because I mean, let's be honest, look
• 34:33
Speaker 2: at people out here, Look at what they're doing right now.
• 34:35
Speaker 2: Look at Marjorie Taylor Green. She thinks the Democrats control weather.
• 34:40
Speaker 2: Lead in the water is a big issue because the
• 34:44
Speaker 2: line y'all walking around strange, and I want to believe
• 34:46
Speaker 2: that it's the lead.
• 34:48
  Speaker 4: Now.
• 34:48
Speaker 2: If it's not the lead, then that's one thing. But
• 34:52
Speaker 2: I do think that this is an excellent plan because
• 34:55
Speaker 2: the very least a lot of y'all have some questionable
• 34:57
Speaker 2: behave questionable behavior, and right now we have a mental
• 35:03
Speaker 2: health crisis in America. It's a crisis.
• 35:08
Speaker 3: Right now, it really is.
• 35:11
Speaker 2: And we don't need lead water adding to the problem.
• 35:19
Speaker 4: I don't need y'all to be using that ship as
• 35:22
Speaker 4: an excuse to be assholes to people.
• 35:24
Speaker 2: I drank red when I was little that Oh my god,
• 35:28
Speaker 2: they used to do that in school. They used to
• 35:31
Speaker 2: do that in school because there was a few special
• 35:33
Speaker 2: children and stuff, and they'd be like, you'd be like, okay, well,
• 35:36
Speaker 2: what's going on with you?
• 35:37
  Speaker 10: Oh?
• 35:37
Speaker 2: When I was little, uh my mother made me uh
• 35:41
Speaker 2: or you know, I used to eat paint chips or whatever.
• 35:43
Speaker 2: It is. Off Like, there were different stories that we
• 35:48
Speaker 2: had and I'm not laughing at them because it's horrible.
• 35:50
Speaker 2: It's horrible situation. But it's just like, hmm, that explains
• 35:55
Speaker 2: a lot of what I see out here, including this story,
• 35:59
Speaker 2: speaking of which that Mark Zuckerberg. Have you heard about
• 36:03
Speaker 2: him and his wife and that car?
• 36:06
Speaker 3: I did hear about that?
• 36:07
Speaker 2: Wow? So why is this news? Why is this head
• 36:12
Speaker 2: find that Mark Zuckerberg the what did they say? The
• 36:15
Speaker 2: richest man in the world? Is he being be categorized
• 36:17
Speaker 2: as the richest? I know it was being talked riches. Well,
• 36:23
Speaker 2: I mean he is one of that, but I don't
• 36:25
Speaker 2: know what. I don't know where he all's on the scale.
• 36:28
Speaker 2: But this rich man has incided to buy a custom
• 36:31
Speaker 2: porch and we don't care.
• 36:35
Speaker 3: So anyways, people buy cars.
• 36:40
Speaker 2: They really do. But because it's custom and it's for him,
• 36:45
Speaker 2: and before because it's his wife, then whatever might what
• 36:52
Speaker 2: you got, you got another one?
• 36:55
Speaker 4: Yeah, So let's see d DG. For those who don't know,
• 37:01
Speaker 4: it's a popular YouTuber who was in a relationship, has
• 37:08
Speaker 4: the Internet and an uproar because he decided to come
• 37:11
Speaker 4: out and make a post and let the world know
• 37:14
Speaker 4: that he and Haley are no longer in a relationship,
• 37:18
Speaker 4: and everybody has something to say to me. I mean
• 37:31
Speaker 4: everybody has something to say about it. So I do
• 37:39
Speaker 4: not have an opinion on this. Obviously, he made her
• 37:46
Speaker 4: happy to some degree where she wanted to have his child.
• 37:51
  Speaker 4: So I can't really.
• 37:52
  Speaker 3: Speak on him.
• 37:55
  Speaker 4: I can't. I know that he's like a YouTube YouTuber,
• 37:59
Speaker 4: slash rapper, sash prankster, whatever.
• 38:03
Speaker 3: He lives his lights on the internet, kind of like
• 38:06
  Speaker 3: soldier boy.
• 38:09
Speaker 4: That's really all I know about him. My kids know
• 38:12
Speaker 4: more so about him than anything. But I don't understand
• 38:17
Speaker 4: all the hate he was getting.
• 38:19
Speaker 2: Okay, so the hate comes from the bullshit that he
• 38:23
Speaker 2: kept putting Holle through. So at first, and this is
• 38:28
Speaker 2: before he started being good father. When she was pregnant,
• 38:31
Speaker 2: he was putting her through it, and that started a
• 38:34
Speaker 2: lot of the rhetoric about people not really liking him
• 38:37
Speaker 2: because he you know, he was going back and he
• 38:40
Speaker 2: was going back and forth with her having been the
• 38:44
Speaker 2: shade room. Talk about this girl that just dropped the
• 38:47
Speaker 2: movie as the new Disney princess. So black people are like,
• 38:49
Speaker 2: hold on, she is the second coming. She's like so
• 38:54
Speaker 2: protege of Beyonce Destina's grandchild, if you will, so you
• 38:58
Speaker 2: won't leave this one alone and stop dragging her into
• 39:01
Speaker 2: rapt shit. And I think that was the majority of
• 39:04
Speaker 2: the energy that he was receiving up until people started seeing, Okay,
• 39:09
Speaker 2: you know what, he is a decent father. He was
• 39:12
Speaker 2: posting pictures of him, you know, uh, playful banter and
• 39:16
Speaker 2: good fatherism with the babies. People, you know, let that
• 39:20
Speaker 2: other shit kind of slide, sort of like they did
• 39:23
Speaker 2: with Dwayne Wade. People was like giving him all that
• 39:26
Speaker 2: hate until he turned out to be a really good
• 39:29
Speaker 2: father to his trans daughter. So you know, it was
• 39:33
Speaker 2: sort of like that kind of energy. But now you
• 39:37
Speaker 2: know it is what it is. But I know that
• 39:39
Speaker 2: a lot of us older heads that was seeing the
• 39:41
Speaker 2: path that she was going down as far as being involved,
• 39:45
Speaker 2: Like when you have a light and then you get
• 39:47
Speaker 2: involved with somebody that's trashic and sometimes muddy you up to.
• 39:53
  Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't want to.
• 39:58
Speaker 2: I didn't want to see that for her.
• 40:00
Speaker 4: Well, he got on the internet today and said that
• 40:04
Speaker 4: he doesn't plan on getting into another relationship unless him
• 40:08
Speaker 4: and Haley rekindle, because he does not want multiple baby mamas.
• 40:14
Speaker 2: Wow hm, I mean he Okay, I'm scared to say,
• 40:23
Speaker 2: I'm very scared to praise him because see, people like
• 40:27
Speaker 2: Tiffany Hattis that you think or they got me scared
• 40:31
Speaker 2: nice things about people now because the moment that you
• 40:33
Speaker 2: do that come out and disappoint you. So right now,
• 40:37
Speaker 2: I will say he's conducting himself kind of maturely, so
• 40:45
Speaker 2: maybe I don't disk him as much.
• 40:48
Speaker 4: And I have to say Miss Billy has a hell
• 40:53
Speaker 4: of a publicist because she has come out and said
• 40:56
Speaker 4: absolutely nothing. She ain't speaking on shit.
• 41:00
Speaker 2: Just like I told you who her mentor is. Andw y'all,
• 41:07
Speaker 2: Beyonce don't answer to none of y'all.
• 41:08
Speaker 4: You can talk to y'all no more.
• 41:10
Speaker 2: She does not none of it. Just no, not doing that.
• 41:18
Speaker 2: Let's see, speaking about shocking revelations, did you hear about
• 41:25
Speaker 2: this headline of the body cam footage related to the
• 41:30
Speaker 2: death of Ronald Green? No? Okay, So back for those
• 41:38
Speaker 2: that may not be in the loop and everything, Ronald
• 41:40
Speaker 2: Green was a black man who died police custody back
• 41:43
Speaker 2: in twenty nineteen after a traffic stop at Louis, Louisiana.
• 41:48
Speaker 2: And this was again during a time that everybody was marching.
• 41:51
Speaker 2: We had a lot, you know, a lot going on
• 41:55
Speaker 2: at the time. Officials claimed that he died from a
• 41:59
Speaker 2: car crash, but the truth was way darker. So now
• 42:04
Speaker 2: here comes to twist. This newly released bodycam footage is
• 42:07
Speaker 2: showing a whole different story. It shows that the police
• 42:13
Speaker 2: officers allegedly use excessive force during their arrest and then
• 42:17
Speaker 2: tried to form it up. We talked about some serious
• 42:20
Speaker 2: like misconduct like officers for seeing tossing them, using physical
• 42:26
Speaker 2: physical violence against him while he was on It was
• 42:30
Speaker 2: a lot going on, So this is surfacing. The situation
• 42:36
Speaker 2: has sparked outrage and renewed offer accountability in law enforcement.
• 42:44
  Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on down there. I know
• 42:47
Speaker 2: that it's about to be an issue. It's about to
• 42:49
Speaker 2: be a big issue, and that again the proof is
• 42:54
Speaker 2: right there. Long look at it.
• 43:00
Speaker 4: That's crazy and other crazy news people are pissed off
• 43:07
Speaker 4: because some fan decided to tape himself getting Young Miami's
• 43:15
Speaker 4: reaction to asking her to sign a bottle.
• 43:20
  Speaker 3: Of baby oil.
• 43:23
Speaker 4: Wow, things have gotten so out of hand, and some
• 43:31
Speaker 4: of you have lost so much tatch with reality that
• 43:34
Speaker 4: you think that this is okay. You forget that these
• 43:37
Speaker 4: people are human. That was inappropriate and so very much
• 43:44
  Speaker 4: clown behavior.
• 43:47
Speaker 2: And see, this is why I don't This is why
• 43:50
Speaker 2: like the jokes and the memes and and stuff. That's why,
• 43:53
Speaker 2: like now it's less fun than it used to be
• 43:56
Speaker 2: because maybe it's an age thing. I don't know, but
• 44:00
Speaker 2: at this point, y'all are doing things like this that
• 44:03
Speaker 2: like even the YouTube creators, this is why don't support
• 44:06
Speaker 2: YouTube creators that metals or that have those little channels
• 44:09
Speaker 2: to where they're looking at ghost videos and oh is
• 44:13
Speaker 2: it real? Is it not? They're talking about the matrix
• 44:15
Speaker 2: and people are showing videos of ooh, bird that stopped
• 44:18
Speaker 2: in the middle of the sky. It's not moving, because
• 44:20
Speaker 2: then it's snowballs in conspiracy theories that then snowball into
• 44:26
Speaker 2: bigger actions by idiots like this one.
• 44:29
  Speaker 4: Mm hm.
• 44:30
Speaker 2: And again the story about d it wasn't about the
• 44:34
Speaker 2: sexual assault, it wasn't about the victims. The headlines were
• 44:38
Speaker 2: a thousand bottles of baby oil. The memes were out
• 44:41
Speaker 2: of control. Yeah, some of them were hilarious. But then
• 44:45
Speaker 2: you don't have people that know when to stop. You
• 44:49
Speaker 2: don't have people that you don't like people right now,
• 44:52
Speaker 2: they don't know to leave there on the internet. Once
• 44:55
Speaker 2: they log off, they then take it a step further
• 44:58
Speaker 2: and assault people with things like this. And when I
• 45:01
  Speaker 2: say it's saut, I don't mean physical, that's emotional assault.
• 45:07
Speaker 4: Kid, adding the people's already already there trauma. That girl
• 45:13
Speaker 4: was in a relationship with him. Now, whether she knew
• 45:17
Speaker 4: what was going on or not, that's between her and
• 45:21
Speaker 4: whatever God that she serves. But at the end of
• 45:25
Speaker 4: the day, like leave people alone, she's probably you know,
• 45:29
Speaker 4: going through it right now, and you know everybody's coming
• 45:33
Speaker 4: at her saying this that, and the third, At the
• 45:35
Speaker 4: end of the day, she's not the one in jail,
• 45:38
Speaker 4: She's not the one being accused of doing all of
• 45:40
Speaker 4: this stuff. She was just in a high profile relationship
• 45:44
Speaker 4: with that man, and so you doing all of this.
• 45:47
Speaker 4: That and the third while she she'd done been broke up,
• 45:50
Speaker 4: broke up with him way before he was arrested. She's
• 45:53
Speaker 4: trying to move on with her life. Like I don't
• 45:55
Speaker 4: understand why people got to be such dicks to people
• 45:59
Speaker 4: like that, leave people alone, Leave people alone, because what
• 46:04
Speaker 4: if she would have got her security to punch you
• 46:07
Speaker 4: in the fucking face right then y'all would have been like, Oh,
• 46:10
Speaker 4: I'm suing her this, that and the third and oh,
• 46:12
Speaker 4: just leave people alone.
• 46:14
Speaker 2: You go too far. Speaking of prominent Dix, Happy forty
• 46:18
Speaker 2: fourth birthday to Nick Cannon.
• 46:22
  Speaker 4: Everybody, baby father.
• 46:26
Speaker 11: That didn't busy? Let me tell you just did. But
• 46:30
Speaker 11: I had to the brother. He definitely holds a many jobs, yes.
• 46:36
Speaker 3: He did, but he came as listen.
• 46:41
Speaker 2: He cannot be a father, not even an active father.
• 46:45
Speaker 2: And all of their kids loved, didn't hold on? Wasn't
• 46:48
Speaker 2: he on a podcast one time or a show to
• 46:51
Speaker 2: where they they were joking with him and everything and
• 46:54
Speaker 2: asked him the name is name all his kids? And
• 46:57
  Speaker 2: he forgotten one?
• 47:01
  Speaker 4: Yeah?
• 47:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, well okay, well let's see speaking again a prominent Dix,
• 47:13
Speaker 2: I'll Trump. Yeah, did you hear how you and Milania met?
• 47:21
Speaker 3: I did? But want to hear.
• 47:25
Speaker 2: Did we care? Do people? It was hop culture news?
• 47:31
  Speaker 4: All right?
• 47:32
  Speaker 12: Well?
• 47:33
Speaker 2: The story goes as old girl was out and about
• 47:39
Speaker 2: Donald Trump was on a date with someone else and
• 47:44
Speaker 2: they met and you know. I guess the rest is history.
• 47:49
  Speaker 2: We don't. I mean, I can tell you more. I
• 47:50
Speaker 2: don't really care. Look it up if you do. But
• 47:53
Speaker 2: long story, he met her cheating on her. I'm sorry,
• 47:58
Speaker 2: he met her cheating on the woman that he was with.
• 48:02
Speaker 2: So yeah, that tell you.
• 48:05
Speaker 4: Who's surprised by this? Raise your hand real quick, okay,
• 48:12
Speaker 4: m man, Oh my gosh.
• 48:19
Speaker 2: Is there anything else we care about?
• 48:25
  Speaker 4: No?
• 48:26
  Speaker 3: I think that's about it.
• 48:30
Speaker 2: I was gonna talk about. No, I'm not gonna talk
• 48:35
Speaker 2: about that. I don't care anyways. All right, up next,
• 48:39
Speaker 2: I say I'll be trying to care.
• 48:44
  Speaker 3: I do.
• 48:45
Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I mean, because this ship is bomb.
• 48:51
Speaker 2: You guys the nigga that wrote wrote songs for j
• 48:56
Speaker 2: Lo time and they're talking about R and B has
• 48:58
Speaker 2: lost its edge and stuff, which I don't disagree. I mean,
• 49:05
Speaker 2: R and B has lost its edge a little bit.
• 49:08
Speaker 2: I'm sorry. He says that it's lost its soul. He's
• 49:14
Speaker 2: a variety of tracks across like different genres like so
• 49:18
Speaker 2: the producer rock Star, he came out and he was like,
• 49:24
Speaker 2: oh yeah, so, uh R and B. It ain't got
• 49:27
Speaker 2: its soul no more, it ain't got its magic. And
• 49:30
  Speaker 2: I mean, I don't disagree, but I don't know. That's
• 49:37
Speaker 2: because what's mainstream right now is garbage. I'm sorry, it is,
• 49:45
Speaker 2: with the exception of maybe like two or three that
• 49:48
Speaker 2: I can name off hands, everybody, it's a lot of
• 49:52
Speaker 2: garbage out here. And the people that are out here
• 49:54
Speaker 2: singing soulfully, and people that are out here trying to
• 49:58
Speaker 2: do things you won't see them park. Oh, go ahead,
• 50:07
  Speaker 2: I'm just saying.
• 50:09
Speaker 3: Found the same too.
• 50:11
Speaker 4: Though. It's like a lot of people are overproduced and
• 50:15
Speaker 4: it's no creativity anymore. To me, it's like everybody is
• 50:19
Speaker 4: backpedaling too, like taking from songs from the early two thousands.
• 50:24
Speaker 4: Now I hear so many freaking remixes, remixes, remixes to
• 50:28
Speaker 4: other people's songs, Like, where's the creativity at right?
• 50:32
Speaker 2: There is none? And then meanwhile you got Chris Brown
• 50:35
Speaker 2: shucking and joving and trying to jump on every popular
• 50:38
Speaker 2: song to keep himself relevant. I'm just like, okay, leave
• 50:42
Speaker 2: us alone, all of this, all right?
• 50:46
Speaker 3: I have one more thing. Are y'all here for glow
• 50:51
Speaker 3: Riller and Kurt Franklin doing the collaboration because apparently it's happened.
• 50:58
Speaker 3: Who Franklin it's gonna be featured on Glowialer's upcoming album,
• 51:06
  Speaker 3: are we you?
• 51:08
Speaker 2: I mean, what, okay, what's the genre? What's the category?
• 51:14
Speaker 2: What's a given? I mean, have they announced, like what
• 51:18
  Speaker 2: kind of.
• 51:20
Speaker 4: It's on her album? So she does row? I don't know.
• 51:26
  Speaker 2: What I mean.
• 51:27
Speaker 4: It could possibly sound.
• 51:29
Speaker 2: Like, well, we know Kirk, we know kirkcuss now because
• 51:34
Speaker 2: well the whole exchange, the whole exchange with his son.
• 51:40
Speaker 2: We know he can. We don't get down and dirty
• 51:43
Speaker 2: with the best of them. But girl, uh what really?
• 51:46
Speaker 2: You know? She ain't really know. What do you think
• 51:49
Speaker 2: of glow realis? What do you think?
• 51:52
Speaker 4: I'm not really mad at her. She doesn't really do
• 51:54
Speaker 4: too much to me. She's a little ratchet, but she
• 51:59
Speaker 4: don't take it too far. She has some coof with her, so.
• 52:03
Speaker 3: I'm not really mad at that either.
• 52:06
Speaker 2: I like Glory like I mean, I really do, because she,
• 52:13
Speaker 2: like you said, she's not as ratchet, but she's like
• 52:15
  Speaker 2: very likable.
• 52:17
  Speaker 10: Mm hmmm.
• 52:18
Speaker 2: I mean I ain't really like her talking about how
• 52:20
Speaker 2: she liked her nigga the nut on her food, you
• 52:23
  Speaker 2: tell that, I.
• 52:26
Speaker 3: Mean not that much.
• 52:28
Speaker 4: I forgot about that much, but I mean, girl, it
• 52:33
Speaker 4: seems to me that her, whoever her team is, they
• 52:37
Speaker 4: got her a little together, because I haven't heard nothing
• 52:40
Speaker 4: like that from her in a little while, So you know,
• 52:44
Speaker 4: I'm not mad at her.
• 52:45
Speaker 2: Ahead, girl, a little nut on the bagel. It's all
• 52:49
Speaker 2: right up next to my segment. I'm gonna call it
• 52:55
Speaker 2: this week by men exist.
• 52:59
Speaker 12: Okay, I'm not voting for either candidate because both candidates trash.
• 53:03
Speaker 12: It's like I have to pick the lesser of two evils.
• 53:05
Speaker 12: What the lesser of two evils? Let's talk about it.
• 53:08
Speaker 12: Only one candidate has been president for four years. His
• 53:11
Speaker 12: name's Donald Trump. And during those four years, nine hundred
• 53:15
Speaker 12: thousand Americans died due to a pandemic that he downplayed,
• 53:20
Speaker 12: and he told you it was going to go away
• 53:22
Speaker 12: as soon as it warmed up outside. But it didn't,
• 53:25
Speaker 12: and over nine hundred thousand Americans had to pay the
• 53:28
Speaker 12: price that year. And you are living the price gouging
• 53:32
Speaker 12: of the pandemic. That's why things are costing you more
• 53:35
Speaker 12: in the stores. It has nothing to do with the
• 53:37
Speaker 12: current administration, because if Donald Trump had handled the pandemic
• 53:40
Speaker 12: like a real president, your life wouldn't have had to
• 53:43
Speaker 12: be interrupted. If Trump handled the pandemic. The way that
• 53:46
Speaker 12: Obama handled Ebola, we wouldn't have had as many casualties.
• 53:49
Speaker 12: Not to mention, Obama left Trump a playbook on what
• 53:52
Speaker 12: to do if there was ever a pandemic. Trump refused
• 53:55
Speaker 12: to read it. Two people died from ebola. Nine hundred
• 53:59
Speaker 12: thousand people died from the pandemic. You're not voting because
• 54:02
Speaker 12: you're mad about the war in Israel and Palestine. Did
• 54:05
Speaker 12: you know that Trump's plan for Palestine is to wipe
• 54:07
Speaker 12: them off the map. Trump's plan is to give that
• 54:10
Speaker 12: land to Israel. Kamala's plan is peace talks. So when
• 54:14
Speaker 12: you say you're not voting, you're really voting for a war.
• 54:17
Speaker 12: And guess who's going to have to fight that war.
• 54:19
Speaker 12: It'll be you, It'll be your children. Because you don't
• 54:22
Speaker 12: want to vote. It's not that you don't want to
• 54:24
Speaker 12: vote for the lesser of two evils. It's that you're
• 54:27
Speaker 12: not informed enough to make an informed decision about who
• 54:29
Speaker 12: should be running this country. And instead of saying that,
• 54:32
Speaker 12: you should really try to research which party has done
• 54:34
Speaker 12: the most for your everyday life, like the fact that
• 54:37
Speaker 12: you don't have to get put off your parents' insurance
• 54:39
Speaker 12: until you're twenty six, Thanks Affordable Care Act from the Democrats. Ooh,
• 54:43
Speaker 12: how about when the American Rescue Plan increased the child
• 54:47
Speaker 12: tax credit from two thousand dollars to thirty six hundred,
• 54:50
Speaker 12: Thank you Democrats, thirty six hundred per child under six.
• 54:53
Speaker 12: I'm sure that really helped out a lot of people,
• 54:55
Speaker 12: and three thousand for those over six. Now you can
• 54:57
Speaker 12: say you're not voting, but don't say it's because you
• 55:00
Speaker 12: have to choose the lesser of two evils. It's because
• 55:02
Speaker 12: you don't know or either you're choosing to forget.
• 55:05
Speaker 1: Largest has your glimb.
• 55:11
Speaker 2: So we're back, and like I said, I am calling
• 55:14
Speaker 2: my segment this week by Men Exist. So here's the
• 55:20
Speaker 2: backstory of all began. Like I told y'all earlier in
• 55:26
Speaker 2: the show about how I keep getting tagged in videos
• 55:29
Speaker 2: and things of people that I guess directly want me
• 55:33
Speaker 2: to either respond or they want to start an argument
• 55:35
Speaker 2: or have a discussion. Lately, I've been getting tagged a
• 55:38
Speaker 2: lot in videos of gay men speaking about or speaking
• 55:45
Speaker 2: to usually straight women about how to tell if your
• 55:51
Speaker 2: man is on the downlow, or how to tell if
• 55:54
Speaker 2: you know your man is cheating with another man, and
• 55:57
Speaker 2: all these things and they kind of give this listen.
• 56:00
Speaker 2: I'm not going to name the creator because I don't
• 56:02
Speaker 2: want to bring attention to this nonsense, but I do
• 56:06
Speaker 2: want to explain what the nonsense is. First and foremost,
• 56:11
Speaker 2: by men exist. They do, you know, gay, everybody knows gay,
• 56:18
Speaker 2: you know trans, you know lesbian, But the byes of
• 56:23
Speaker 2: the world tend to get forgotten a lot. And the
• 56:26
Speaker 2: reason being is because I guess a lot of them. Well,
• 56:32
Speaker 2: for a lot of men, saying that they were bisexual
• 56:36
Speaker 2: was like usually a softer blow to their friends and
• 56:40
Speaker 2: family when it came, you know, when coming out that
• 56:43
Speaker 2: would just be to be gay, because a lot of
• 56:46
Speaker 2: women will argue, oh, well, the gay guys I was.
• 56:52
Speaker 2: You know, gay guys that I know, they all said
• 56:54
Speaker 2: that they came out and when they first came out,
• 56:57
Speaker 2: they said they were by but they knew that they weren't.
• 56:59
Speaker 2: Blah blah blah blah. Not the issue. They do exist.
• 57:05
Speaker 2: There can be an attraction to more than one sex.
• 57:09
Speaker 2: The problem is with creators that create content like, oh well,
• 57:13
Speaker 2: let me help to tell you how to tell if
• 57:16
Speaker 2: your man is gay and down low and all this
• 57:19
Speaker 2: other stuff. It's like sometimes men will get beat up
• 57:24
Speaker 2: more for cheating if it's with another man, And I
• 57:28
Speaker 2: want to know why that is not the fact that
• 57:31
Speaker 2: he cheats, because a lot of y'all will sit there
• 57:34
Speaker 2: and he will cheat on y'all ten times in your
• 57:37
Speaker 2: face with another woman. The moment, the moment that you
• 57:43
Speaker 2: think it's another dick in the room, then the whole
• 57:48
Speaker 2: conversation changes, and then you take the actions that you
• 57:53
Speaker 2: need to take to leave him, which you probably already
• 57:55
Speaker 2: should have done because he was cheating on you in
• 57:57
Speaker 2: the first place. But the thing is to get back
• 58:00
Speaker 2: to what I'm saying about these kinds of content creators,
• 58:05
Speaker 2: they spark fear and a lot of straight women because
• 58:09
Speaker 2: straight women they don't know the gay life. It's close, well,
• 58:13
Speaker 2: a lot of them don't as close in proximity as
• 58:16
Speaker 2: they can be. Two gay people like you and I
• 58:19
Speaker 2: are friends, and there's still a lot about the gay
• 58:24
Speaker 2: life that you don't know. And that's simply because I
• 58:28
Speaker 2: don't really bring you, well, I don't really go out
• 58:30
Speaker 2: to the gay life, you know what I'm saying, Like zero,
• 58:34
Speaker 2: like probably zero of my day is gay. Like I
• 58:41
Speaker 2: don't really do or participate in a lot of events.
• 58:44
Speaker 2: I mean, I will if it's like charity or something
• 58:46
Speaker 2: like that. But to just go out and socialize, I
• 58:50
Speaker 2: might go to like an bar or something if it's
• 58:53
Speaker 2: a gay bar, but I'm not really doing that. But
• 58:56
Speaker 2: the problem with these creators, they'll go out and they'll
• 59:01
Speaker 2: take that already mystery and they'll turn it into more
• 59:05
Speaker 2: and they'll kind of play off your fears, and it's like, oh, well, girl,
• 59:09
Speaker 2: you know, if he cheating the way the tail, if
• 59:11
Speaker 2: it's a man, this, that, and a third, why not
• 59:14
Speaker 2: just put out content? Like if your aim is to
• 59:17
Speaker 2: help people, why would you not just put out content
• 59:22
Speaker 2: to Okay, well, if you're positioning yourself as a dating
• 59:26
Speaker 2: coach or whatever these content creators call themselves, then be that.
• 59:31
Speaker 2: But you can't fuel already hateful rhetoric towards And what
• 59:36
Speaker 2: makes it even worse is that these are gay men
• 59:39
Speaker 2: that then make an argument for women that didn't end
• 59:43
Speaker 2: up hurting them even further. And the thing is, you're
• 59:46
Speaker 2: not even telling the truth with these things.
• 59:49
Speaker 4: So to answer your question, Okay, I don't have an
• 59:58
Speaker 4: issue with some of them because some of them, some
• 1:00:02
Speaker 4: of these creators aren't using that angle as far as
• 1:00:08
Speaker 4: the fear mongering. Okay, what needs to happen is you
• 1:00:14
Speaker 4: need to talk more about taking away somebody's choice to
• 1:00:20
Speaker 4: decide if they want to be with someone who is bisexual.
• 1:00:26
Speaker 4: That's just like, that's just like someone saying I'm trans
• 1:00:39
Speaker 4: and I don't feel like I have to be upfront
• 1:00:43
Speaker 4: about it to a potentially straight guy. Well, you have
• 1:00:50
Speaker 4: to be truthful to a certain state and give somebody
• 1:00:53
Speaker 4: a choice if that's, you know, something that they want
• 1:00:57
Speaker 4: to be involved in. It's all about people having the
• 1:01:01
  Speaker 4: right to choose.
• 1:01:02
Speaker 2: To me, excellent, and that's an excellent point. I'm glad
• 1:01:07
Speaker 2: that you bring it up. So here's the thing, and
• 1:01:10
Speaker 2: I mean, you make you get the nail on the head.
• 1:01:12
Speaker 2: I am not taking that away from you because you
• 1:01:14
Speaker 2: are correct one that people should absolutely be honest with
• 1:01:20
Speaker 2: the people that they are dealing with about whatever situation
• 1:01:23
Speaker 2: it is, sexuality or otherwise, and you should be given
• 1:01:28
Speaker 2: a choice about whether or not you want to, you know,
• 1:01:32
Speaker 2: pursue something further with the person that you're dealing with. However,
• 1:01:38
Speaker 2: I will only say that the closet exists because of
• 1:01:42
Speaker 2: hate and fear in the first place. You can't get
• 1:01:47
Speaker 2: mad about a situation that you then create well, I
• 1:01:50
Speaker 2: mean you can't, but let's just be honest with ourselves
• 1:01:54
Speaker 2: and saying that we've created the standard. Because the first
• 1:01:57
Speaker 2: thing a lot of what I see out here is
• 1:02:01
Speaker 2: people will There's so many thoughts that rushing in my head,
• 1:02:06
Speaker 2: so I kind of have to dissect them. But what
• 1:02:09
Speaker 2: I see a lot is people if a man tells
• 1:02:13
Speaker 2: them that they're bisexual, well, first off, they're not given
• 1:02:16
Speaker 2: that label of bisexuality. That's why I'll call them the
• 1:02:19
Speaker 2: segment by a man exists, because then they're automatically stocked
• 1:02:24
Speaker 2: with the fag label. Automatically oh, well he's gay, this, that,
• 1:02:29
Speaker 2: and the third, and they get no further like it's
• 1:02:32
Speaker 2: oh girl, he gay. He just hirt. It's never oh
• 1:02:36
  Speaker 2: he's by or hey I don't never you know, it's
• 1:02:40
Speaker 2: never that. So when they're honest or when they were honest,
• 1:02:49
Speaker 2: we didn't give them an opportunity, and then we get
• 1:02:53
  Speaker 2: and I mean again, it's it's a double edged sword
• 1:02:57
Speaker 2: because like you're heard yourself by hurting others, but nobody's
• 1:03:02
Speaker 2: being honest because people, you know, when you're in those phases,
• 1:03:05
Speaker 2: you don't feel as though you can be saved. Gay
• 1:03:09
Speaker 2: people spend a lot of their lives, a lot of
• 1:03:11
Speaker 2: their adult lives, honestly unpacking shit that a lot of
• 1:03:14
Speaker 2: straight people got to unpack when they were children. As adults,
• 1:03:20
Speaker 2: a lot of us gay people, we spend a lot
• 1:03:22
Speaker 2: of time dissecting the parts of ourselves that are actually
• 1:03:26
Speaker 2: us versus what we did to kind of fit into
• 1:03:31
Speaker 2: other groups of people because we weren't allowed to be ourselves. Initiative, Yeah,
• 1:03:38
Speaker 2: I feel and with by man, you know, my heart
• 1:03:41
Speaker 2: goes out sometimes just you know, in having to deal
• 1:03:46
Speaker 2: with that line, because it's like, yeah, if I find
• 1:03:49
Speaker 2: a woman attractive and I want like, first off, if
• 1:03:51
Speaker 2: I'm about me, but if I'm hitting on a woman
• 1:03:54
  Speaker 2: and I'm gay, But if I'm hitting on I'm a
• 1:03:58
Speaker 2: bad example of them. But woman, it's a thing of
• 1:04:05
Speaker 2: where I've been siling that a person he already knows
• 1:04:09
Speaker 2: what the plumbing looked like, and if he don't, what's
• 1:04:14
Speaker 2: going on down there in the general party anyway, So
• 1:04:18
  Speaker 2: I don't know, y'all just creates a lot of problems
• 1:04:24
Speaker 2: for yourselves. We create a lot of problems for ourselves.
• 1:04:30
  Speaker 2: That's my rank.
• 1:04:33
Speaker 7: Think about how much the world has changed in fifteen years,
• 1:04:35
Speaker 7: how much technology has advanced, how much information has been disseminated,
• 1:04:40
Speaker 7: how much we've grown as society, thinking about you know, health,
• 1:04:44
Speaker 7: thinking about wealth, thinking about how it related to each other.
• 1:04:46
Speaker 2: And then think about how the minimum.
• 1:04:48
Speaker 7: Wage has not budged, not once in at fifteen years.
• 1:04:52
Speaker 7: Do we still live in the same world in reality
• 1:04:54
Speaker 7: that where the cost of living allowed for you to
• 1:04:56
Speaker 7: have a federal minum wage of like seven dollars of
• 1:04:58
  Speaker 7: some change.
• 1:04:59
Speaker 4: Do we still live in the world No, in my.
• 1:05:02
Speaker 7: Opinion, when corporations celebrate these record high profits, that's really
• 1:05:06
Speaker 7: just wage stuff because that could have been paid to
• 1:05:08
Speaker 7: the workers. That's slave in, putting blood, swoating tears, and
• 1:05:10
Speaker 7: you being able to celebrate these record high profits. Here's
• 1:05:13
Speaker 7: an illustration of what happens in our country when we say.
• 1:05:15
Speaker 2: We want minimum wage.
• 1:05:16
Speaker 7: We have somebody sitting on a mountain of money that's
• 1:05:19
Speaker 7: been used and extracted from our labor telling us that
• 1:05:22
Speaker 7: our greed is hurting the economy. Then the same people
• 1:05:25
Speaker 7: who say that human activity can't affect the climate are
• 1:05:27
Speaker 7: not saying the government is creating hurricanes. It's almost like
• 1:05:31
Speaker 7: they don't want to invest in public education or invest
• 1:05:34
Speaker 7: in raisors minimum wage.
• 1:05:35
Speaker 2: They don't want to invest in nothing.
• 1:05:37
Speaker 7: And on top of the minimum wage, being held houses
• 1:05:39
Speaker 7: that's seven dollars and some change and the ecological control,
• 1:05:42
Speaker 7: we have a housing shortage.
• 1:05:43
  Speaker 4: You feel me.
• 1:05:44
Speaker 7: So not only do you have people that really can't
• 1:05:46
Speaker 7: even afford houses, the people.
• 1:05:47
Speaker 2: That can't afford the houses can to get one.
• 1:05:49
Speaker 7: Between the zone and laws, the high interest rates, the
• 1:05:52
Speaker 7: algorithmic fixing, our country is going to hell and the
• 1:05:55
Speaker 7: hand basket real fast, or all of us is just
• 1:05:57
Speaker 7: one check for being unhoused. If billionaires are worried about
• 1:06:01
Speaker 7: a will text, they should get a second job, stop
• 1:06:03
Speaker 7: buying coffee and avocado toasts, and pull themselves up by
• 1:06:06
Speaker 7: the bootstraps and do better than save a job or
• 1:06:08
Speaker 7: use some of their money. And instead of buying them
• 1:06:10
Speaker 7: with jet or going to the move, they can just
• 1:06:12
Speaker 7: get them a better financial team. Think about it. We
• 1:06:15
Speaker 7: hold broke people that's having to eat sleep for dinner
• 1:06:18
Speaker 7: to high standards of holding their finances, then we do
• 1:06:21
Speaker 7: multi million dollars billion dollar corporations to get bailed out
• 1:06:24
Speaker 7: with our tax paill dollars. Any time they start missing up.
• 1:06:26
Speaker 2: They money crazy, ain't it?
• 1:06:28
Speaker 7: The minimum wage now is worse than it's being since
• 1:06:31
Speaker 7: nineteen forty nine. Think about how much we say our
• 1:06:33
Speaker 7: society as it danced since nineteen forty nine, and how
• 1:06:36
Speaker 7: many people it's living with not being able to access
• 1:06:38
Speaker 7: a livable wage. There are very many states that have
• 1:06:41
Speaker 7: a higher minimum wage in they state than the federal
• 1:06:43
Speaker 7: minium wage. But in states like Texas where I live
• 1:06:45
Speaker 7: at hey Man, we are very very much focused the
• 1:06:48
Speaker 7: influence how we get paid and how label its value.
• 1:06:51
Speaker 7: They stop what the federal minimum wage is, basically saying
• 1:06:54
Speaker 7: what happens federally has a ripple effect and how all
• 1:06:57
Speaker 7: our way is valued across the country. So we have
• 1:06:59
Speaker 7: a house shortage, and we have a shortage of people
• 1:07:02
Speaker 7: being able to afford homes. But Supreme Court is seeing
• 1:07:04
Speaker 7: that cities can punish people for sleeping outside in public places,
• 1:07:07
Speaker 7: so it is illegal to be unhoused.
• 1:07:09
  Speaker 1: Huh.
• 1:07:10
Speaker 7: We're passing laws that make it easier for us to
• 1:07:12
Speaker 7: buy a house and fix some of them z own
• 1:07:13
Speaker 7: their laws that make it easy for y'all to build
• 1:07:15
Speaker 7: some houses. Man, education is elevation, and we gotta do better.
• 1:07:18
Speaker 1: Take us to her, take us all ago, take us
• 1:07:20
Speaker 1: wherever you go. Joe RTR Real Talk Radio.
• 1:07:24
Speaker 2: In second half of the show here on WRTR Real
• 1:07:27
Speaker 2: Talk Radio, how are you feeling?
• 1:07:28
Speaker 3: It's the lyric I'm feeling grand?
• 1:07:33
Speaker 2: All right, So let's take this discussion sparked by a meteorologist,
• 1:07:38
Speaker 2: Jody Cadeh. Basically, she's brought attention to a study that
• 1:07:45
Speaker 2: claims to identify the months that produce the most attractive
• 1:07:53
Speaker 2: I got to be mad or you now, no, actually
• 1:07:59
Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, okay, this list again. This is
• 1:08:03
Speaker 2: somebody named uh like I said, Jodie, so you know,
• 1:08:08
Speaker 2: go with that. But it has been trending. It has
• 1:08:12
Speaker 2: been trending. So here they are in order?
• 1:08:18
  Speaker 4: Okay?
• 1:08:21
Speaker 2: Or should I just start at the bottom. Do you
• 1:08:23
Speaker 2: want the top and then we work up to the
• 1:08:25
  Speaker 2: most attractive?
• 1:08:26
Speaker 4: Mam, No, start from the tap. From the tap, because
• 1:08:32
Speaker 4: I want to see number one. I can.
• 1:08:36
Speaker 2: The most attractive people were born in April. That would
• 1:08:40
Speaker 2: be take a man is God?
• 1:08:43
Speaker 3: I tell him that.
• 1:08:46
Speaker 4: He's gonna let that ship down, good grief.
• 1:08:51
Speaker 2: Number two would be January. Okay, that would be my sister.
• 1:08:56
Speaker 2: That would the heather. That would be a lot of
• 1:08:59
Speaker 2: people I know, a lot of capricorn. Number three is
• 1:09:05
Speaker 2: the third month March. Number four June, that's my number.
• 1:09:14
Speaker 2: Five February that's my mom today, number six May. Okay,
• 1:09:22
Speaker 2: so we have way, we have the list, and my
• 1:09:26
Speaker 2: month thing came up. So I'm ugly on the ugly
• 1:09:32
Speaker 2: side over here, all right. So number number seven is August,
• 1:09:37
Speaker 2: number eight is September, number nine is November, number ten
• 1:09:45
Speaker 2: is October, and newty Lie number eleven December, and that
• 1:09:55
Speaker 2: leaves July is number twelve.
• 1:10:00
  Speaker 13: June.
• 1:10:00
Speaker 2: I got the ugliest niggas.
• 1:10:03
Speaker 4: No, not my baby, not my baby.
• 1:10:16
Speaker 2: There is a disclaimer. It is while the idea of
• 1:10:19
Speaker 2: ranking attractiveness my bird moth is entertaining, it's important to
• 1:10:23
Speaker 2: recognize that this study is more of a lighthearted take
• 1:10:26
Speaker 2: rather than a rigorous scientific analysis.
• 1:10:29
Speaker 4: So, okay, let's not go to four.
• 1:10:35
Speaker 2: Now. I'm assuming they just took a whole bunch of
• 1:10:39
Speaker 2: you know, people they knew, and was like they rated
• 1:10:42
Speaker 2: them from ugliest to most attractive.
• 1:10:46
Speaker 4: Y'all put them them months in a hat, shook that ship.
• 1:10:49
Speaker 3: Around and ticking because I know you're fucking lying.
• 1:10:57
Speaker 2: Ugliest to this list. I love it, all right. So
• 1:11:03
Speaker 2: we're gonna leave this listener letter for next week, and
• 1:11:06
Speaker 2: we're gonna move on to the WI files were ready.
• 1:11:08
Speaker 6: At fossil fuels driving climate change not demure at all,
• 1:11:14
Speaker 6: very dangerous, very aggressive, Which brings me to Justice forty.
• 1:11:18
Speaker 6: Research shows that over seventy percent of US fossil fuel
• 1:11:21
Speaker 6: plants operate in or around low income communities and communities
• 1:11:25
Speaker 6: of color. These are communities that are already under resourced
• 1:11:29
Speaker 6: and overburdened by pollution, making them most vulnerable to the
• 1:11:32
Speaker 6: impacts of climate change. Funded in part by the Inflation
• 1:11:36
Speaker 6: Reduction Act, the largest climate investment in US history, Justice
• 1:11:39
Speaker 6: forty is an initiative that is meant to ensure that
• 1:11:41
Speaker 6: forty percent of benefits from federal funding for clean energy
• 1:11:45
  Speaker 6: and climate investments.
• 1:11:46
Speaker 4: Is distributed to underserved communities.
• 1:11:48
Speaker 6: So far, twenty billion dollars has been allocated towards clean
• 1:11:51
Speaker 6: energy transportation projects and retrofit affordable housing for low income communities.
• 1:11:57
Speaker 6: The Green and Resilient Retrofit Program has already he pledged
• 1:12:00
Speaker 6: the one hundred million dollars to fifteen hundred low income households,
• 1:12:04
Speaker 6: making them more energy efficient. Now, we are far from
• 1:12:07
Speaker 6: out of the woods when it comes to the climate crisis.
• 1:12:09
Speaker 6: I mean far, I cannot stress that enough but serving
• 1:12:12
Speaker 6: communities that are disproportionately affected.
• 1:12:15
Speaker 4: By it is at least the start.
• 1:12:17
Speaker 9: Why do you have rote this?
• 1:12:19
  Speaker 1: Why?
• 1:12:20
  Speaker 4: Why?
• 1:12:21
  Speaker 2: Why?
• 1:12:22
  Speaker 1: File?
• 1:12:23
Speaker 2: Why do my children hate me?

  Speaker 2: Dude?
• 1:13:40
  Speaker 1: I saw that.
• 1:13:44
Speaker 2: And I just thought she was being I thought she
• 1:13:46
Speaker 2: was being funny and because she was okay, but she didn't.
• 1:13:53
Speaker 4: Now she was being serious, And now she has hundreds
• 1:13:58
  Speaker 4: and probably found.
• 1:14:00
Speaker 3: Of people believing this bullshit.
• 1:14:03
Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about. See, this is exactly what
• 1:14:06
Speaker 2: I'm talking about. So now you're gonna have the turkey
• 1:14:08
Speaker 2: leg niggas over there talking to the to the flowers
• 1:14:12
Speaker 2: niggas that are then gonna go over there and talk
• 1:14:15
Speaker 2: to the maga niggas, and before you know it, we
• 1:14:18
Speaker 2: gonna all be okay.
• 1:14:21
Speaker 4: I mean, they have people in an uproar. People will
• 1:14:24
Speaker 4: talk about some I don't eat pork. I'm outraged this
• 1:14:28
Speaker 4: whole time, like people talking about sewing and everything, like
• 1:14:34
Speaker 4: what are you talking about?
• 1:14:36
Speaker 2: As a fan of poork. You all know my relationship
• 1:14:40
  Speaker 2: with bacon. It's a different texture. So I mean, I
• 1:14:45
Speaker 2: feel like if we were eating pig legs versus turkey
• 1:14:51
Speaker 2: legs that somebody would have noticed. Prior to this lady
• 1:14:57
Speaker 2: jumping on TikTok, Nobody ever asked the question like if
• 1:15:00
Speaker 2: you think this was true?
• 1:15:01
Speaker 10: Nobody was ever like hmm, let's go take a big girl,
• 1:15:06
Speaker 10: Like what First of all, there's the difference between dark
• 1:15:11
Speaker 10: and white turkey met second of all, it's smoked.
• 1:15:16
Speaker 4: Of course it's gonna taste like fucking am I just
• 1:15:20
  Speaker 4: I don't I.
• 1:15:22
Speaker 3: Don't get it. I don't get the stupid.
• 1:15:29
Speaker 2: You look like damn because.
• 1:15:31
Speaker 4: It's like you're are you? That is that? That many
• 1:15:34
Speaker 4: stupid people out here?
• 1:15:35
Speaker 3: I guess it is. I guess I guess the girl collible.
• 1:15:39
Speaker 2: Ass motherfucker democrats control. What do you mean?
• 1:15:45
Speaker 4: It's insane, It's insane. It don't make no sense. Yes,
• 1:15:49
Speaker 4: that kind of pissed me off.
• 1:15:51
Speaker 2: Why because the truth is out there? This one was
• 1:15:56
Speaker 2: asked by Jasmine from Atlanta. She says, why do people
• 1:16:00
Speaker 2: feel the need to keep their most scandalous secrets hidden
• 1:16:04
Speaker 2: even from their closest friends? And embarrassment and what happened?
• 1:16:12
Speaker 2: I feel like you need to write in a letter
• 1:16:13
Speaker 2: because I want to know what scandalous things happen. Right,
• 1:16:17
Speaker 2: Don't let it be nothing you know too heavy Jesus,
• 1:16:20
Speaker 2: we want to hear from you. Mm hmm, I will say,
• 1:16:24
Speaker 2: because again, embarrassment. I believe that a lot of people
• 1:16:30
Speaker 2: you know behind scandal. It's not therapists are important, you
• 1:16:34
Speaker 2: believe it or not, because then you get a third
• 1:16:36
Speaker 2: party that's not associated with anybody you know that you
• 1:16:40
Speaker 2: tell all your business to and then get with You know,
• 1:16:43
Speaker 2: when you get with your friends, you're not sitting there
• 1:16:45
Speaker 2: talking about your other friends and their business. You actually, like,
• 1:16:47
Speaker 2: you know, are you not sitting there talking about your business?
• 1:16:50
Speaker 2: You talking about other people's business?
• 1:16:52
  Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
• 1:16:52
Speaker 4: And the fear of being judged is real because, let's
• 1:16:56
Speaker 4: be honest, some people that you call friends ain't really
• 1:17:00
Speaker 4: friends and be quick to run.
• 1:17:01
Speaker 2: And tell that that's true. So because the truth is
• 1:17:06
Speaker 2: out there, you got another one.
• 1:17:09
  Speaker 4: Yes, mine is.
• 1:17:11
Speaker 3: A little bit political dischy. It comes from me.
• 1:17:15
Speaker 2: Uh, why the fuck.
• 1:17:20
  Speaker 3: Is Iraq's parliament.
• 1:17:24
Speaker 4: Allowing girls as young as nine years old to get
• 1:17:28
  Speaker 4: fucking married? What?
• 1:17:33
  Speaker 3: Yep?
• 1:17:36
Speaker 4: Yeah, I read that shit today and I instantly got pissed.
• 1:17:42
Speaker 4: What do you mean nine years old?
• 1:17:45
  Speaker 3: Nine years old?
• 1:17:46
Speaker 4: So, despite protests, the parliament members are pushing for an
• 1:17:52
Speaker 4: amendment to the Personal Status Law that could legalize childhreage
• 1:17:58
Speaker 4: girls as young as nine and drip away protections for
• 1:18:01
Speaker 4: women and divorce and inheritance.
• 1:18:05
Speaker 2: Wow. Outraged, No, I'm reading this, I just googled it.
• 1:18:11
Speaker 2: Yeah you said in Iraq the h yeah personal Status law.
• 1:18:15
Speaker 2: It governs family members permits marriage at a young age.
• 1:18:18
Speaker 2: While the legal age for marriage is generally said at eighteen,
• 1:18:22
Speaker 2: exceptions can be made. Wow, exceptions can be made, why wow,
• 1:18:31
Speaker 2: with parental consent and approval from a judge. But what
• 1:18:37
Speaker 2: judges are allowing this? Huh? That's wow. It also says
• 1:18:44
Speaker 2: that it as cultural norms and many parts of I,
• 1:18:47
Speaker 2: particularly rural and conservative areas, early marriage is often seen
• 1:18:51
  Speaker 2: as traditional practice.
• 1:18:53
Speaker 4: First of all, ain't nothing fucking traditional about a child
• 1:18:57
Speaker 4: marrying a grown ass fucking man?
• 1:18:59
  Speaker 6: Wow?
• 1:19:00
  Speaker 2: I agree.
• 1:19:00
  Speaker 4: I don't care what nobody says. I don't care what
• 1:19:02
  Speaker 4: country you from.
• 1:19:04
  Speaker 3: That's disgusting.
• 1:19:05
Speaker 2: Economic factors. In some communities, family say that marrying off
• 1:19:11
Speaker 2: their daughters at a young age is a way to
• 1:19:14
Speaker 2: secure financial stability. Wow. Social pressures. There can be societal
• 1:19:19
Speaker 2: pressures from if you don't conform. Wow, that's why you
• 1:19:29
Speaker 2: learned something and the truth is out there. Wow. Okay.
• 1:19:38
Speaker 2: I have one more, so on of the lighter ends.
• 1:19:40
Speaker 2: Why do people prioritize they're online personas over their real
• 1:19:45
Speaker 2: life relationship? And that was asked by Ava from San Diego, California.
• 1:19:52
  Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
• 1:19:57
Speaker 4: Because it's much easier to be a care other than
• 1:20:00
Speaker 4: be yourself for some people, I guess.
• 1:20:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes I would, OK, but I will say that
• 1:20:11
Speaker 2: they prioritize their ownline personas because everything's a show nowadays everybody,
• 1:20:18
Speaker 2: you know, I mean literally what everybody's doing. They want
• 1:20:23
Speaker 2: to show you the highlights of their life, and oftentimes
• 1:20:26
Speaker 2: people's partners follow by the wayside of.
• 1:20:31
Speaker 4: But that's the thing, though, They're only showing you what
• 1:20:35
Speaker 4: sixty seconds of their life. Uh that mean they're happy.
• 1:20:40
Speaker 4: I don't care how much they smiling and flashing money
• 1:20:42
Speaker 4: and going on trips and doing all that. In the
• 1:20:45
Speaker 4: third you're only seeing a very small percentage of somebody's life.
• 1:20:54
  Speaker 4: So definitely.
• 1:20:57
Speaker 2: Got one last one from Leah from New York. Why
• 1:21:01
Speaker 2: do we have such a fascination with celebrity scandals and
• 1:21:05
Speaker 2: what does what does that say about our own lives?
• 1:21:11
Speaker 2: I can answer that one, but I mean, if you.
• 1:21:14
Speaker 4: Want, I think because a lot of people put these
• 1:21:17
Speaker 4: celebrities on pedestals that they have no business on, and
• 1:21:23
Speaker 4: you know, you become so fascinated because your childhood hero
• 1:21:30
Speaker 4: or this person that you looked up to done did
• 1:21:34
Speaker 4: some human shit and you can't comprehend that. Stop putting
• 1:21:39
Speaker 4: these celebrities on pedestals. They're human. They fuck up just
• 1:21:43
Speaker 4: like any other person. They just have money and resources,
• 1:21:47
Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, Like their name is out there,
• 1:21:51
Speaker 4: but they're regular people too.
• 1:21:53
Speaker 3: Nobody is perfect and celebrity is fucked up to.
• 1:21:58
Speaker 2: I think that's over, I would answer by saying we
• 1:22:03
Speaker 2: I personally, I can speak for myself. I love celebrity
• 1:22:07
Speaker 2: scandals and I'm reading about their lives because none of
• 1:22:12
Speaker 2: us can livery existence, and a lot of us glorify
• 1:22:17
Speaker 2: in either our actions or our minds. This you know,
• 1:22:21
Speaker 2: Star studied life. So it makes when I follow scandals
• 1:22:27
Speaker 2: and when I see things that play out in the
• 1:22:29
Speaker 2: news and just watch people sometimes I watch them interact
• 1:22:32
Speaker 2: and what they founded online on their lives. It just
• 1:22:35
Speaker 2: kind of brings it off. It makes a little bit
• 1:22:38
Speaker 2: more handle for me. It's like, Okay, you know what,
• 1:22:41
Speaker 2: these people they're actual people and like you said, they're human.
• 1:22:45
Speaker 2: They do things, so it's educational to follow the story.
• 1:22:49
Speaker 2: Sometimes it's it's very enlightening to see this whole diddy
• 1:22:55
Speaker 2: thing alone, to see the lengths that people will take
• 1:23:01
Speaker 2: just for fame and power.
• 1:23:03
Speaker 4: But it's also sad too, because people have been saying
• 1:23:10
Speaker 4: these stories, you know what I'm saying. And that's one
• 1:23:13
Speaker 4: of the things that is beneficial as far as social
• 1:23:19
Speaker 4: media is concerned, is that now since everything is so documented,
• 1:23:26
Speaker 4: these stories can you know, come out to light and
• 1:23:29
Speaker 4: these people can be responsible for the things that they
• 1:23:32
Speaker 4: have done now that you couldn't years and years ago.
• 1:23:36
Speaker 4: But these things have been happening. This is the first
• 1:23:40
Speaker 4: time that I've heard a story about Sean Colins. This
• 1:23:45
Speaker 4: is not the first time I've heard this over ten
• 1:23:47
Speaker 4: fifteen years ago that he was into some weird shit. Yeah,
• 1:23:53
Speaker 4: why Yeah, because the truth is out there and all
• 1:23:56
  Speaker 4: over the internet.
• 1:23:59
Speaker 2: Absolutely for this week's my top always answer them why
• 1:24:03
Speaker 2: for you at WRTR Radio on Twitter. Oh, we will
• 1:24:08
Speaker 2: be back. Are we doing news to make you nozius
• 1:24:10
Speaker 2: this week? I'm working on time? Okay, cool, We'll be
• 1:24:14
  Speaker 2: right back.
• 1:24:15
Speaker 14: This is a tough hurricane, one of the wettest we've
• 1:24:19
Speaker 14: ever seen from the standpoint of water.
• 1:24:22
Speaker 2: Rarely have we had an experience.
• 1:24:26
Speaker 7: See, I could make a whole bunch of jokes, but
• 1:24:28
Speaker 7: right now, I know there are a lot of Americans
• 1:24:30
Speaker 7: that's really in dire these because we have historical landfalls
• 1:24:34
Speaker 7: about to hear and this man is talking about the
• 1:24:36
Speaker 7: hurricane being the way that he's ever seen. If you're
• 1:24:38
Speaker 7: in these congressional districts and are starting to evacuate on
• 1:24:41
Speaker 7: our seventy five, remember your congress person refused to vote
• 1:24:44
Speaker 7: for FEMA funding watching videos of people who can afford
• 1:24:48
Speaker 7: to evacuate because flight prices out of Tampa Bay just
• 1:24:51
Speaker 7: jump sky high. This is predatory behavior. It should be banned,
• 1:24:54
Speaker 7: especially then states of emergencies. It should be illegal for
• 1:24:58
Speaker 7: airlines to price goals for cities and evacuated hurricane eleven
• 1:25:02
Speaker 7: hundred dollars for one way ticket out.
• 1:25:04
  Speaker 4: That's unethical.
• 1:25:05
Speaker 7: Can we agree on that?
• 1:25:06
  Speaker 4: Now?
• 1:25:06
Speaker 7: What's crazy is that the Biden Harris administration passed the
• 1:25:09
Speaker 7: bill that was literally decreasing and making it restricted for
• 1:25:12
Speaker 7: the airline industry to be able to do this price GOUGM.
• 1:25:15
Speaker 7: But guests who want to reverse that with transportation policies.
• 1:25:18
Speaker 13: And Project twenty twenty five, huh, Donald Trump?
• 1:25:21
Speaker 7: It should also be noted that in twenty seventeen, Trump
• 1:25:24
Speaker 7: signed an executive order there in this administration that undid
• 1:25:27
Speaker 7: a similar rule before it could take effect, and speaking
• 1:25:29
Speaker 7: twenty seventeen, he already showed us what his presidential response
• 1:25:33
Speaker 7: would be, when the Americans is dealing with all type
• 1:25:35
Speaker 7: of hurricanes, maybody was shooting the pepper towels?
• 1:25:41
Speaker 1: How used to make a nashious WRT are real talk radio?
• 1:25:47
  Speaker 1: Let's go.
• 1:25:49
Speaker 2: These are some of the stories you might not read
• 1:25:51
Speaker 2: about the New York Times, the Washington Posts, or the
• 1:25:54
Speaker 2: Wall Street Journal. This news make what did you miss lyrics?
• 1:25:59
Speaker 2: You want to go first?
• 1:26:00
Speaker 3: I sure do, go for it.
• 1:26:02
Speaker 4: The story made me so nauseous. Oh my goir, say what?
• 1:26:06
Speaker 4: Mexico say what. The decapitated head all hell of a
• 1:26:12
Speaker 4: mayor in Mexico was found atop his car just six
• 1:26:17
Speaker 4: days into his tenure, marking the second official to be
• 1:26:23
Speaker 4: murdered in Guerrero's capital in less than a week. The
• 1:26:28
Speaker 4: body of Alejandro Arcos, the forty three year old mayor
• 1:26:32
Speaker 4: of the city of Chilpincico, was found inside his pickup
• 1:26:37
Speaker 4: truck Sunday night, while his head was propped on top
• 1:26:41
Speaker 4: of the vehicle. His death was confirmed by the State
• 1:26:45
Speaker 4: Prosecutor's office. The State Attorney General's office said they were
• 1:26:49
Speaker 4: investigating this situation. His loss mourns the entire society and
• 1:26:54
Speaker 4: fills them with indignation. Evelyn Salgai Kiddo said in a
• 1:27:01
Speaker 4: statement shared on social media the day of his murder,
• 1:27:04
Speaker 4: Our Coast has had visited Chilpin Seagos neighborhoods damaged by
• 1:27:10
Speaker 4: Hurricane John, but went missing. What the hell is going
• 1:27:16
Speaker 4: on in Mexico? Six days of being a mayor and
• 1:27:22
Speaker 4: they chop your head off, yo, that is wild?
• 1:27:30
Speaker 2: And they said this is how many? This is how
• 1:27:32
Speaker 2: many of Wait, this has happened before. This is official
• 1:27:38
Speaker 2: the second So I read more into that because that
• 1:27:43
Speaker 2: tells me that there is more of a problem. Well,
• 1:27:46
Speaker 2: let me not even go there, because there's already hurtful
• 1:27:50
Speaker 2: and letterick behind Mexico right now. And I'm not trying
• 1:27:54
Speaker 2: to add all right, say what Texas say what? So
• 1:27:58
Speaker 2: picture this right? No Crossing Elementary School in Spring, Texas,
• 1:28:04
Speaker 2: two teachers have been placed on administrative leave or allegedly
• 1:28:09
Speaker 2: handing out quote unquote sleepy stickers to kids. Stickers, but
• 1:28:16
Speaker 2: not just any stickers. These were supposedly or allegedly a
• 1:28:22
Speaker 2: fused with sleep aid supplements.
• 1:28:26
Speaker 4: You are fucking lying, I am not.
• 1:28:33
Speaker 2: Here's the tea. It all started when a student spilled
• 1:28:36
Speaker 2: the beans toure mom about these so called sleepy time stickers. Naturally,
• 1:28:43
Speaker 2: other parents caught winded this and started questioning their own kids,
• 1:28:47
Speaker 2: only find out that several had also received these stickers.
• 1:28:51
Speaker 2: Alarm bells started ringing, and parents started, you know, taking
• 1:28:54
Speaker 2: action and everything, reporting the incident to child protective Services
• 1:28:57
Speaker 2: and even mershing their children to the hospital for So
• 1:29:05
Speaker 2: this of course is nauseating for the obvious reasons. But
• 1:29:10
Speaker 2: what's even more nauseating is didn't this happen? I swear
• 1:29:13
Speaker 2: on this very podcast we well not this brandition. I
• 1:29:18
Speaker 2: think on the TV show we had talked about another
• 1:29:23
Speaker 2: story where daycare workers were given the kids. What was it?
• 1:29:30
Speaker 2: I think they were like gummies? Were they okay? And
• 1:29:36
Speaker 2: this continues to happen. What's going on? What's going on
• 1:29:40
Speaker 2: out here in these daycares? Like y'all, I can't take
• 1:29:47
Speaker 2: my kid to a daycare dropping them off.
• 1:29:51
Speaker 3: First out, this ain't even a daycare.
• 1:29:54
Speaker 4: This was at an elementary school. Why are you out
• 1:30:00
Speaker 4: night quil stickers to these babies? First of all, if
• 1:30:05
  Speaker 4: I was a parent, I'm going up there and I'm
• 1:30:08
Speaker 4: whipping assody. I'm dragging that bitch through the damn parking
• 1:30:13
Speaker 4: lot out here. This would have to have to physically
• 1:30:20
Speaker 4: get me off of these bitches. If my kid ever
• 1:30:24
Speaker 4: came home talking about some oh mommy, miss so and so,
• 1:30:28
Speaker 4: they gave me this stinker, I'm dragging you. What are
• 1:30:32
  Speaker 4: you talking about?
• 1:30:35
Speaker 3: I'm not warning nobody.
• 1:30:37
Speaker 4: I'm coming up there.
• 1:30:39
Speaker 2: I want to know how it happened and nobody. I
• 1:30:41
Speaker 2: guess they have nap time. But still nobody noticed that
• 1:30:46
Speaker 2: only this whatever her last name was, her class is
• 1:30:51
Speaker 2: the only class that don't got a whole bunch of
• 1:30:53
Speaker 2: his dad against Why your baby gotta hangover.
• 1:31:00
Speaker 4: That all baby, it's time, it's time to eat dinner.
• 1:31:04
Speaker 4: I'm sleepy because you don't drugged the baby at at school.
• 1:31:12
Speaker 3: When I tell you, let me shut up.
• 1:31:16
Speaker 2: Because you want these board news stories. Makes sure you

• 1:31:34
Speaker 4: social media platforms, not the nasty ones, just the good ones,
• 1:31:39

• 1:31:43
Speaker 2: All right, we'll be talking about in real talk.
• 1:31:46
Speaker 4: Okay, So for real talk, we are discussing healthy and
• 1:31:52
  Speaker 4: unhealthy selfishness.
• 1:31:56
Speaker 2: All right, be right back.
• 1:31:58
Speaker 13: I want to give a huge shout out to the
• 1:31:59
Speaker 13: people that go through things and don't make other people
• 1:32:03
Speaker 13: responsible for what they're going through.
• 1:32:05
Speaker 1: They just fight those battles.
• 1:32:07
Speaker 13: I also want to give a shout out to the
• 1:32:08
Speaker 13: people that understand that they can't do it on their
• 1:32:11
Speaker 13: own and that it's okay asking for help, and encourage
• 1:32:15
Speaker 13: someone to understand that it's okay to ask for help.
• 1:32:19
Speaker 13: Many times we go through life thinking that we can
• 1:32:22
Speaker 13: just deal with it on our own, that we just
• 1:32:24
Speaker 13: got things figured out. And my grandma would tell me
• 1:32:27
Speaker 13: as a child that just when you think you have
• 1:32:28
Speaker 13: all of the answers, God changes the questions. So I
• 1:32:33
Speaker 13: don't know who needs to.
• 1:32:34
Speaker 1: Hear this, but listen up.
• 1:32:37
Speaker 13: You are enough, you are worthy, you are powerful, you
• 1:32:41
Speaker 13: are amazing, you are beautiful, you are handsome, and your
• 1:32:45
Speaker 13: best is yet to come.
• 1:32:48
Speaker 1: Good day, It's real job. You are are real talk Radio.
• 1:32:58
Speaker 1: We keep it real.
• 1:33:00
Speaker 4: Hey guys, what's going on?
• 1:33:01
Speaker 3: It's real talk time?
• 1:33:03
Speaker 4: And this week I wanted to discuss something that relates
• 1:33:08
Speaker 4: to mental health. I decided to talk about selfishness. Now,
• 1:33:17
Speaker 4: we have been socially conditioned to believe that selfishness is wrong.
• 1:33:21
Speaker 4: But what you guys do not know is there are
• 1:33:25
Speaker 4: two types of selfishness, unhealthy and healthy. Unhealthy examples not
• 1:33:33
Speaker 4: considering how your actions affect others Donald Trump, always acting
• 1:33:39
Speaker 4: in your own self interests, having no empathy for others.
• 1:33:48
Speaker 2: Oh oh god, that's a whole lot of them.
• 1:33:52
Speaker 4: Not showing remorse when you hurt others, using manipulation tactics
• 1:33:57
Speaker 4: to get what you want, always asking for favors but
• 1:34:01
Speaker 4: never returning them. Healthy selfishness having healthy boundaries, using self care,
• 1:34:13
Speaker 4: having a healthy dose of self respect, and not letting
• 1:34:17
Speaker 4: people take advantage of you. Balancing your own needs with
• 1:34:21
Speaker 4: the needs of others, advocating for your own needs, having
• 1:34:28
Speaker 4: a healthy form of selfishness, which is which could be eating,
• 1:34:33
Speaker 4: healthy meditation, exercising things that do not hurt others, giving
• 1:34:39
Speaker 4: your self permission to enjoy yourself even if it doesn't
• 1:34:46
Speaker 4: necessarily involve helping others, And prioritizing your own personal projects
• 1:34:52
Speaker 4: over the demands of others. And the reason why I
• 1:34:55
Speaker 4: wanted to talk about this today is because oftentimes we
• 1:34:59
Speaker 4: go through life and we cater to people and we
• 1:35:05
Speaker 4: forget about taking care of ourselves. We're always, you know,
• 1:35:10
Speaker 4: so willing to help this person or be there for
• 1:35:13
Speaker 4: this person, and we often neglect ourselves and this could
• 1:35:18
Speaker 4: lead to depression. You want to say this, which you
• 1:35:26
Speaker 4: guys don't know. The depression rate for twenty twenty four
• 1:35:31
  Speaker 4: is really bad.
• 1:35:34
Speaker 3: It is really bad. For the youth.
• 1:35:38
Speaker 4: Twenty point seventeen within the age range of twelve and
• 1:35:44
Speaker 4: seventeen have experienced at least one major depressive episode.
• 1:35:50
  Speaker 3: Adults.
• 1:35:51
Speaker 4: More than seven percent of adults are diagno are diagnosed with.
• 1:35:55
Speaker 3: Depression, especially adults and me.
• 1:36:00
Speaker 4: Adults living alone are most likely to report feelings of
• 1:36:04
Speaker 4: depression than those who are living with others. The LGBTQ
• 1:36:09
Speaker 4: individuals are three times more likely to experience a mental
• 1:36:13
Speaker 4: health condition more than heterosexual adults.
• 1:36:18
Speaker 2: I'm all over this list. The only thing said in
• 1:36:22
Speaker 2: youth that don't apply to me.
• 1:36:26
Speaker 4: LGBTQ teens are six times more likely to experience symptoms
• 1:36:31
Speaker 4: of depression than non girls are twice as likely that
• 1:36:38
Speaker 4: as than boys to have clinical depression three and four.
• 1:36:44
Speaker 4: Young people with depression also have another mental disorder. Depression
• 1:36:49
Speaker 4: is often an overlapping diagnosis, along with other medical conditions
• 1:36:55
Speaker 4: and so many different things can factor and contribute to
• 1:37:00
Speaker 4: a person's depressive state, which is one of them. As
• 1:37:05
Speaker 4: far as not taking care of yourself. When you're constantly
• 1:37:10
Speaker 4: filling somebody else's cup, what do you.
• 1:37:13
Speaker 2: Have for your own cup as grilla.
• 1:37:20
Speaker 4: So with that being said, I just want everybody to
• 1:37:23
Speaker 4: be mindful to take care of yourself and take some
• 1:37:28
Speaker 4: time for yourself every week, self date, self motivate, have
• 1:37:39
Speaker 4: positive talks to yourself, you know what I'm saying in
• 1:37:43
Speaker 4: those times where you're feeling anxious and doubtful about what's
• 1:37:47
Speaker 4: to come, because it's fucked up.
• 1:37:53
Speaker 3: The world is in a fucked up.
• 1:37:54
Speaker 4: State and a lot of people are going through it,
• 1:37:57
Speaker 4: and you have to have some sort of time where
• 1:38:04
Speaker 4: you just decompressed and know that you know you can
• 1:38:08
Speaker 4: sort through things. If you can't and you're going through
• 1:38:12
Speaker 4: a depressive state, there are numbers that you can call
• 1:38:18
Speaker 4: when you feel like you're going through a crisis and
• 1:38:20
Speaker 4: you have nobody to talk to, because some people don't.
• 1:38:23
Speaker 4: I mean, you know how many people said that, Oh
• 1:38:27
Speaker 4: my god, I can't believe that girl sent in that
• 1:38:30
Speaker 4: letter saying this that and the third to you guys
• 1:38:33
Speaker 4: about sexuals Soto. Yeah, some people don't have an ear
• 1:38:41
Speaker 4: to talk to in times of crisis. So if you
• 1:38:44
Speaker 4: guys are going through anything, help is available called nine
• 1:38:49
Speaker 4: eight eight or text nine eighty eight. That is the
• 1:38:52
Speaker 4: Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. They are available twenty four hours
• 1:38:57
Speaker 4: a day. If you're not a person who wants suverbally
• 1:39:01
Speaker 4: say stuff, you can text.
• 1:39:03
Speaker 3: It's very beneficial that.
• 1:39:07
Speaker 4: You do that because times are hard and it's going
• 1:39:12
Speaker 4: to get harder, but you have to know how to
• 1:39:15
  Speaker 4: deal with it.
• 1:39:16
Speaker 2: What are some of the things that you do?
• 1:39:18
Speaker 4: And when you feel in.
• 1:39:22
  Speaker 10: Me?
• 1:39:23
Speaker 2: So I you mean, like when I'm feeling depressed, what
• 1:39:29
Speaker 2: are some things that I do?
• 1:39:31
Speaker 3: What are some of the things that you do?
• 1:39:33
Speaker 2: Well? For those of y'all that have been following me
• 1:39:35
Speaker 2: for a long time, you already know that I'm a gamer.
• 1:39:38
Speaker 2: I'm a competitive gamer, particularly for pogramon. I will no
• 1:39:45
Speaker 2: not go the actual game like on Nintendo. Yeah, it's
• 1:39:51
Speaker 2: two different ones, but I'm a competitive gamer and you
• 1:39:55
Speaker 2: know it brings me joy. I recommend that to actually
• 1:39:58
  Speaker 2: anybody that's going through a rough time because it's a
• 1:40:00
Speaker 2: game that it's an RPG, so it puts you in
• 1:40:03
  Speaker 2: a role and you're there and you're never mind. I'm
• 1:40:06
Speaker 2: not giving intend of money, but no, I play games,
• 1:40:16
Speaker 2: I spend time sometimes with friends and family. And then
• 1:40:20
Speaker 2: when I'm not feeling like I'm going to be, you know,
• 1:40:24
Speaker 2: like I want to be bothered with people. Sometimes I
• 1:40:26
Speaker 2: write I do what brings me pleasure, and I think
• 1:40:29
Speaker 2: that's the bigger point. And I think a lot of
• 1:40:31
Speaker 2: times people struggle with knowing when I guess differentiating between
• 1:40:40
Speaker 2: the two types of selfishness because I know for me,
• 1:40:45
Speaker 2: a lot of times I would over do, like I
• 1:40:48
Speaker 2: would do too much. I would literally overwork myself to
• 1:40:53
Speaker 2: try to make all of the commitments that I had,
• 1:40:56
Speaker 2: and like you said, I was just constantly pouring into
• 1:40:59
Speaker 2: others is pouring into different things and not pouring into myself.
• 1:41:03
Speaker 2: So when I cry, the crash hard. It had hurt
• 1:41:08
Speaker 2: and it sent me through a depression, and you know,
• 1:41:11
Speaker 2: I'm still trying to sort through the pieces. It's a
• 1:41:14
Speaker 2: lot better now, I know, but it was hard to
• 1:41:19
Speaker 2: differentiate between the two types of selfish because it's like,
• 1:41:23
Speaker 2: I want to honor these commitments that I have. I
• 1:41:25
Speaker 2: want to be there for my friends and family, but
• 1:41:28
Speaker 2: I can't be there for my friends and family if
• 1:41:30
Speaker 2: by myself am falling apart inside.
• 1:41:32
Speaker 3: Also, right, and that's absolutely true.
• 1:41:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's it's literally trying to find out what is.
• 1:41:40
Speaker 2: So I love the examples that you gave as far
• 1:41:43
Speaker 2: as you know the healthy versus the unhealthy type. So yeah,
• 1:41:50
  Speaker 2: good topic. Job.
• 1:41:52
Speaker 3: Listen to music when I'm feeling depressed.
• 1:41:57
Speaker 2: If I had your voice, I would sing myself of
• 1:42:00
Speaker 2: depression every single time. I'd be like, I just like
• 1:42:06
Speaker 2: start screaming out ballads and ship just doing different ship
• 1:42:09
Speaker 2: with my voice. I just beautiful voices don't need to
• 1:42:15
Speaker 2: be depressed, they don't.
• 1:42:17
Speaker 4: Well, thank you, But I do not sing, not in
• 1:42:20
Speaker 4: the singing mood. I just listen to other songs and
• 1:42:24
Speaker 4: stuff to get me through. And it might be gospel,
• 1:42:31
Speaker 4: it might be alternative, it might be whatever I'm feeling.
• 1:42:35
Speaker 4: I put it on. So find that, like you said,
• 1:42:40
Speaker 4: whatever it is that makes you happy and feels joy
• 1:42:43
Speaker 4: in that moment and get through it and.
• 1:42:47
Speaker 2: Then also yourself go through it. See a lot of times,
• 1:42:50
Speaker 2: I know a lot of us take our vices and
• 1:42:54
Speaker 2: we get a little too heavy again me because it
• 1:42:58
Speaker 2: was like, you know, use certain substances, you know, taking whatever,
• 1:43:04
Speaker 2: just to nullify the way that you feel in order
• 1:43:08
Speaker 2: to just get through the next moment. But I promise you,
• 1:43:10
Speaker 2: if you let yourself get through it, it's I mean,
• 1:43:15
Speaker 2: it sucks, don't get me wrong. It does up yea,
• 1:43:19
Speaker 2: but you will get over it quicker if you don't. Yeah,
• 1:43:24
Speaker 2: so a whole bunch of substances over top of it.
• 1:43:26
Speaker 2: Just don't do that.
• 1:43:28
Speaker 4: And having to step away and take some time for yourself.
• 1:43:31
Speaker 4: A lot of people feel guilty about that. Now you
• 1:43:34
Speaker 4: have to because, like you said, how am I going
• 1:43:37
Speaker 4: to be good for somebody else if I'm not right?
• 1:43:41
Speaker 4: If I'm feeling this, how can I, you know, provide
• 1:43:44
Speaker 4: for my kid, or how can I provide for my
• 1:43:48
Speaker 4: spouse or my partner or whoever might be there for
• 1:43:51
Speaker 4: my friend? If I'm not okay. You have to make
• 1:43:54
Speaker 4: sure that you are okay before you can do anything
• 1:43:57
Speaker 4: for anybody else. So, yeah, take that time for yourself
• 1:44:00
Speaker 4: and don't feel guilty about that if.
• 1:44:02
  Speaker 3: You have to.
• 1:44:04
