- 0:15Speaker 3: Welcome to Shaker Tins in Arlington. Very happy to be
- 0:21Speaker 3: here the tree House Podcast. I didn't introduce myself earlier,
- 0:26Speaker 3: so I will do that now like I normally do.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It is time to leave your worries outside and say
- 0:31Speaker 3: Holy it's Sean Air Dundo. I'm Dani Malley along with
- 0:35Speaker 3: Raj Sharma, Trey Trenholm, Jerry Caldwell today's engineer. Are you
- 0:40Speaker 3: incognito today from uh? DJ? DJ here is from Odyssey.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Is it radio group or just audacity to do radio group?
- 0:51Speaker 3: It's good, it's a good he's got a job. He's
- 0:53Speaker 3: got to say the right thing. DJ works at one
- 0:55Speaker 3: O five three the Fan along with the other stations
- 0:57Speaker 3: that used to be CBS Radio where we all worked
- 0:59Speaker 3: at and so he's now mood lighting for us. So
- 1:01Speaker 3: only the best for us inside the Treehouse. Thank you, DJ.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I appreciate your health as always. A couple things to
- 1:07Speaker 3: mention real quick before we jump back into the show,
- 1:10Speaker 3: and whether or not to shoot your loved ones to
- 1:12Speaker 3: the moon. If so, most of us here, I think
- 1:15Speaker 3: you're here for the Treehouse, So thank you very much.
- 1:17Speaker 3: We appreciate you guys being here. If you're by yourself
- 1:19Speaker 3: at a table and you want to consolidate and hang
- 1:21Speaker 3: out with some other weirdos that are Treehouse listeners, please
- 1:25Speaker 3: knock yourself out. Sharing tables is welcomed. It helps out
- 1:29Speaker 3: shaker tins today.
- 1:30Speaker 4: And speaking of.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Tables, we have the merch table over here. I think
- 1:32Speaker 3: a lot of you have stepped up to take a
- 1:33Speaker 3: look at what we have available. My lovely wife Tara
- 1:36Speaker 3: is doing bundles and packages and selling things. We appreciate
- 1:40Speaker 3: you guys patronage there. And there was one other thing,
- 1:45Speaker 3: and of course I've had a second drink and I
- 1:47Speaker 3: have terrible memory as it is, and I've forgotten what
- 1:49Speaker 3: it is. But ultimately it's okay. This segment has also
- 1:54Speaker 3: brought to you by Fairly.
- 1:55Speaker 5: So.
- 1:55Speaker 3: The other thing that has really been great in the
- 1:56Speaker 3: Treehouse over the last month is we have now expanded
- 1:58Speaker 3: back to five days a week and we're happy about that.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I hope you guys are happy about that. And that
- 2:04Speaker 3: is duing part to fair LEAs. Go to Fairleas dot
- 2:06Speaker 3: org for your new vehicle, lease it instead of buy it,
- 2:09Speaker 3: and you can save time.
- 2:09Speaker 4: You can save money when.
- 2:10Speaker 3: You use Fairleas, go to Fairleas dot org. So we
- 2:14Speaker 3: appreciate them making five days a week possible inside the treehouse.
- 2:18Speaker 3: So share your tables, buy some merch. RAJ. We're happy
- 2:22Speaker 3: you're here on RAJ time. Jerry was here before. I
- 2:29Speaker 3: was so applause with Jerry got.
- 2:31Speaker 4: There, I left the House of three. So people are
- 2:34Speaker 4: coming over.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Now that's the when people, Uh, this is a white
- 2:38Speaker 6: people thing, I guess is when people die, you guys
- 2:40Speaker 6: show up with food.
- 2:41Speaker 3: It's not a white person I think it's a Southern
- 2:43Speaker 3: person thing. When someone dies, just like you show up
- 2:46Speaker 3: and bring a bunch of food, right, so the people
- 2:47Speaker 3: that experience laws don't have to cook.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's uh, we get the call like hey,
- 2:52Speaker 6: so we're five minutes away. So I'm like, hey, we're
- 2:55Speaker 6: trying to go to the grocery store. But like Bubba
- 2:58Speaker 6: showed up today.
- 2:59Speaker 4: That's his real name, not being demeaning. Bubba showed up today.
- 3:03Speaker 6: And Bubba's on his fourth heart attack, but he swears
- 3:08Speaker 6: the reason that he's alive is Marlboro Reds.
- 3:10Speaker 4: And doctor Pepper, Uh is why he's alive.
- 3:13Speaker 6: And he brought a cast role and uh, I've never
- 3:19Speaker 6: in my life growing up as a Hindu kid, never
- 3:22Speaker 6: had a tater tot and hot dog.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Cast role you grew up, you grew up in Mesquite.
- 3:28Speaker 3: How would you never had that? Oh, your parents didn't
- 3:31Speaker 3: let you eat the other kid's food.
- 3:35Speaker 6: So he showed up with a tater tot and hot dog,
- 3:38Speaker 6: which ironically had broccoli on the top.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I don't know why. I don't know what that was for.
- 3:43Speaker 3: That's actually how my mom gets her broccoli. Like, we went,
- 3:46Speaker 3: We went to lunch with my mom and Olive gardener
- 3:48Speaker 3: right over here, and they were kind enough to put
- 3:50Speaker 3: a little bit of the broccoli on top of the
- 3:53Speaker 3: super double creamy Yoki soup. So my mom got a
- 3:57Speaker 3: greens in for the day.
- 3:58Speaker 6: Yeah, we had a hot and uh a rita. I
- 4:02Speaker 6: didn't even know that was still a thing. Yess yes,
- 4:06Speaker 6: And he.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Uh tots the crinkle fries. What am I missing? The
- 4:11Speaker 3: hash browns, the season fries. I grew up on all
- 4:15Speaker 3: that stuff.
- 4:15Speaker 4: The heart disease like, I don't know that comes later,
- 4:18Speaker 4: but he uh, I.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Did appreciate the fact that he put it down, took
- 4:22Speaker 6: the foil off to show us, and then helped himself to.
- 4:26Speaker 3: The first ball even wait for us to look. The
- 4:29Speaker 3: fifth heart attack is not going to cast itself. But
- 4:33Speaker 3: you bring up something that you disagreed with me and
- 4:36Speaker 3: Trey on a few months ago, which is, I think
- 4:39Speaker 3: like I'm gonna do a quick poll of everyone here
- 4:41Speaker 3: at Shaker Tins. Do you like people to show up
- 4:44Speaker 3: at your house unannounced? Raise your hand? If you do,
- 4:47Speaker 3: raise your hand. If you absolutely hate someone showing up
- 4:50Speaker 3: at your house un announced?
- 4:53Speaker 4: What do you guys? Smiles, what's happened?
- 4:55Speaker 3: No, here's the thing, Raj. You experienced it today. Someone
- 4:58Speaker 3: said someone showed up at the house else unannounced, and
- 5:01Speaker 3: you're annoyed by it. Welcome to the rest of us.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I didn't want to kill them with some like weird
- 5:06Speaker 4: robot dog that breaks fire.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Well, you just don't know how to have fun.
- 5:10Speaker 4: That's why there's gone silly.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't let the robot dog have all the fun.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just, hey, we're five minutes out.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Is the only thing that if you tell me, hey,
- 5:21Speaker 6: we'll be here in thirty minutes or forty minutes, like.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 5:23Speaker 3: You don't just say I'm showing up.
- 5:25Speaker 4: You need to ask. No, I mean somebody's passed away.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I kind of I think.
- 5:30Speaker 3: That's more of a reason to ask. I'm I'm in mourning.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Why are you assuming I want to see you.
- 5:36Speaker 4: I was just trying to go to the grocery store.
- 5:38Speaker 6: That's what we were trying to do Walmart, and Bubbo
- 5:41Speaker 6: was five minutes away, and he's like, hey, I'm five
- 5:43Speaker 6: minutes out.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Well, now you don't need to go to Walmart, because
- 5:46Speaker 3: he already brought Walmart to you in one simple pan.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I think he ate most of lot.
- 5:52Speaker 6: I think we had like a small little saucer of
- 5:55Speaker 6: the castle.
- 5:56Speaker 4: And then he ate the rest. Was like, you know,
- 5:58Speaker 4: heart attacks are real.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, I think when you get home,
- 6:02Speaker 3: you're gonna have another person to send to the moon.
- 6:05Speaker 6: He also, uh, did this where he just lit up
- 6:09Speaker 6: his cigarette inside the house.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Oh no, well doesn't that Isn't that the finishing salt
- 6:14Speaker 3: on on castle rolls.
- 6:17Speaker 6: I thought it was the onions like theis, but apparently
- 6:21Speaker 6: it's Marlboro rtts.
- 6:24Speaker 4: He just didn't ask, didn't say anything.
- 6:27Speaker 6: He just took a bowl and started ashing in a
- 6:29Speaker 6: bowl that I'm like, I looked at it.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I was like, I eat cereal out.
- 6:33Speaker 7: Of that bowl.
- 6:34Speaker 3: That's how you know he went to finishing schools because
- 6:36Speaker 3: he used the bowl to ash in.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 6: So I'm experiencing the the new uh with with with
- 6:45Speaker 6: a white girlfriend, loss, the castle rolls and uh.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Oh, what are the little pin wheels wheel sandwiches?
- 6:55Speaker 8: So you need to ask Bubba if he takes the
- 6:58Speaker 8: dishes out of the sink before he peace.
- 7:03Speaker 4: I'm surprised you didn't be right there. But the pin
- 7:07Speaker 4: wheel sandwiches. And apparently there's a company for potato chips
- 7:12Speaker 4: named Clancy Clancy. I don't know who that is, but
- 7:17Speaker 4: it's I guess like Toms.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Or weird cousin.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah, Tom's chips, yeah, or or it's like, uh like
- 7:25Speaker 3: Clancy decided to go the chip route and Amos did
- 7:27Speaker 3: the cookies.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Okay, Yeah, Otis funk Meyer did the terrible name, didn't
- 7:34Speaker 6: didn't didn't Grandpa Reddenbacker with the popcorn? Yeah, but we're
- 7:38Speaker 6: getting a lot of pin wheel sandwiches, a lot of
- 7:40Speaker 6: castle rolls. Lovely lovely cards are being sent through the mail,
- 7:45Speaker 6: which I didn't know people still did anymore.
- 7:47Speaker 4: That was very nice. So nothing nothing.
- 7:54Speaker 6: Because I dropped this might drop this right, I mean
- 8:00Speaker 6: she misses her tree, but.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Some nice double fudge.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Yeah, you win.
- 8:13Speaker 6: She would have appreciated that.
- 8:17Speaker 4: I remember ages ago, snow White was being.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Re released in the movie theater and I said, Uh,
- 8:22Speaker 6: Nikki wanted to go watch snow White, And I said,
- 8:25Speaker 6: your girl, yeah, if you can, if you can name
- 8:27Speaker 6: all the seven Dwarfs, I'll take you. And Uh, Melinda,
- 8:31Speaker 6: who just passed away, was like, I can name all seven.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I go, okay, she goes sleepy, dopey Melinda, Gary, Shelley
- 8:41Speaker 6: and just started naming everybody in.
- 8:42Speaker 9: The room.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Because they too were.
- 8:48Speaker 6: It's like, you win, I'll take it. I'll take you
- 8:50Speaker 6: to the damn movies. So that was Yeah, that was nice.
- 8:54Speaker 4: But thank you so much.
- 8:55Speaker 6: And there's a lot of messages that I got from
- 8:58Speaker 6: listeners that about her passing.
- 9:01Speaker 3: It's very sweet and and and I love. One of
- 9:05Speaker 3: one of our very fine listeners decided to show his
- 9:08Speaker 3: sympathy for you by creepily taking a photo you had
- 9:12Speaker 3: posted on Instagram of yourself as a child. And then
- 9:16Speaker 3: he took that photo from Instagram, yes, took it to
- 9:19Speaker 3: another person or a business, in which he made a
- 9:21Speaker 3: T shirt for him to wear with your face on it.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Yes. Uh, I think Keith is over there. Uh, he's
- 9:29Speaker 4: got he's lost.
- 9:30Speaker 3: He can't hear anything, which is probably good. Yeah, show
- 9:33Speaker 3: everybody your shirt, Keith.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Chest.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Look at the sweater.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Uh yeah, my mom. I think my mom knitted that.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I called it everybody. I called this cowboy and Indian.
- 9:49Speaker 4: That's what I called this.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Keith. Why does the back of your shirt say little Navajo?
- 9:52Speaker 6: That's what I That's what they used to call me
- 9:54Speaker 6: in the squet. They didn't know what Indians were, so
- 9:57Speaker 6: I was a Navajo or a chickasaw.
- 10:00Speaker 3: You know, this is great. This all comes full circle.
- 10:02Speaker 3: This explains now why the Navajo nation doesn't want people
- 10:06Speaker 3: sending their family members to the moon. And your nickname
- 10:10Speaker 3: is little Navajo because that that is truly special. Thank
- 10:17Speaker 3: you Keith for nick And the only thing that would
- 10:20Speaker 3: be better than that T shirt with your face on
- 10:22Speaker 3: it would be if you could find that same sweater
- 10:25Speaker 3: that you're wearing in the photo that Keith could then
- 10:28Speaker 3: wear while wearing the photo of you wearing the sweater, I.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Think it's an elephant. I think that's what's on the.
- 10:37Speaker 3: It looks like a holiday sweater that you're wearing in
- 10:39Speaker 3: the photograph.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Yeah, but we're also Indian were desert people, so we
- 10:43Speaker 6: will wear that like in September.
- 10:45Speaker 3: So it's so it's an elephant on the sweater. So
- 10:47Speaker 3: it is I think.
- 10:49Speaker 4: So if we look I think, uh.
- 10:53Speaker 3: And Roger, you said your mom made this sweater. Those
- 10:57Speaker 3: are sheet Yeah.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Okay, oh those are things all things we don't eat.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a cow, there's a sheet, there's there's a person,
- 11:07Speaker 3: there's a chicken. There's anything with texture on there.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Like, you gotta appreciate the ropers. Look at that.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't even notice because they blended into the
- 11:16Speaker 3: red background.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Yeah. I look at those ropers like those.
- 11:19Speaker 3: I mean, that's so you really were like your own
- 11:22Speaker 3: walking version of cowboy and Indian.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I was very conflicted.
- 11:28Speaker 6: I would just wouldn't when you, you know, kids would
- 11:30Speaker 6: play Cowboys and Indians in the street. I would just
- 11:32Speaker 6: go outside and shoot myself.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, if we do another Christmas show, we're gonna
- 11:42Speaker 3: have to have some some little Navajo Christmas sweaters. All right,
- 11:49Speaker 3: let's take a quick break. We'll regroup and come back
- 11:51Speaker 3: and talk about some really stupid stuff in the treehouse
- 11:54Speaker 3: and shaker tins in Arlington.
- 11:58Speaker 10: Because it is online that treehouse dot com.
- 12:07Speaker 3: So before we jump into the break, let me tell
- 12:09Speaker 3: you about Fairlease. I mentioned em earlier, but I want
- 12:11Speaker 3: to do it one more time. If you're in the
- 12:13Speaker 3: market for a new vehicle, go to fairlease dot org.
- 12:17Speaker 3: That's fairlease dot org. You can save time and money
- 12:19Speaker 3: on that new vehicle. You can save time because you
- 12:22Speaker 3: know that if you've ever spent time at a car
- 12:24Speaker 3: dealership trying to buy a car, you could actually be
- 12:26Speaker 3: staring at the car that you want to buy and
- 12:29Speaker 3: they don't let you leave with it. They say, no,
- 12:31Speaker 3: you can't have it yet. Well, at fairleast they'll bring
- 12:33Speaker 3: the vehicle to you, save you a ton of time
- 12:35Speaker 3: in the car process. And you can also save a
- 12:38Speaker 3: bunch of money because leasing costs less than buying, and
- 12:41Speaker 3: you can take advantage of no money down for ninety days.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Contact our friends for your next new vehicle at Fairlease.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Lease your next new vehicle and do it from Fairlease.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Fairlease dot org. That is fairlease dot org.
- 12:57Speaker 10: You're listening to the tree House, visit us online at
- 13:01Speaker 10: Treehouse on air dot com.
- 13:07Speaker 3: All right, we were back inside the Treehouse inside Shakerton's
- 13:11Speaker 3: and Arlington. Thank you everyone for being here. We appreciate
- 13:14Speaker 3: seeing your smiling faces. And speaking of being here and
- 13:21Speaker 3: smiling faces, Hi, Robert, come.
- 13:25Speaker 4: On a bud.
- 13:27Speaker 3: So Uh this gentleman and the cowboy hat and the
- 13:30Speaker 3: very serious security officer uniform And by serious, I mean
- 13:33Speaker 3: it's got the state of Texas on it.
- 13:35Speaker 4: And he's got a pewpy.
- 13:36Speaker 3: On his hip, which is both comforting and terrifying that
- 13:41Speaker 3: our listeners are allowed to have those. But seriously, Robert
- 13:44Speaker 3: Powell has been a long time listener of obviously not
- 13:49Speaker 3: only the Treehouse, but there was a Smartin show for
- 13:51Speaker 3: many many years. Uh hook him up there. Yeah, you
- 13:56Speaker 3: got to bring up to your your misfit youth. So
- 13:59Speaker 3: for anyone that listen to the radio show for any
- 14:01Speaker 3: stretch of time, you would recognize Robert's voice because you
- 14:04Speaker 3: called in all the time. And it's not because it
- 14:07Speaker 3: was a bad thing that I say. That's because I
- 14:09Speaker 3: always had the job. When ice cream calls way back
- 14:11Speaker 3: in the day, I'm only putting in good calls. Well,
- 14:14Speaker 3: this isn't efort right here. I always had something good
- 14:16Speaker 3: to say, so I always put him right up the
- 14:18Speaker 3: front of the line. And that's Robert Powell.
- 14:20Speaker 5: So when I got a job. First, you got a
- 14:23Speaker 5: job of security working for stunbar armored cars. Uh and uh,
- 14:30Speaker 5: I'm sitting around. I said, well, and you know the
- 14:32Speaker 5: only thing I miss is this is miss In my
- 14:35Speaker 5: radio show, my partner for the day goes, what radio
- 14:38Speaker 5: should you listen to?
- 14:39Speaker 7: Us?
- 14:39Speaker 5: And Rus harm show goes, you're our Robert.
- 14:43Speaker 3: That's you. I'm surprised you didn't recognize you just from
- 14:47Speaker 3: the voice.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I'm trying to think.
- 14:49Speaker 11: They kind of didd like, okay, so yeah, it's uh,
- 14:54Speaker 11: not just not just you, but Alfie and Dan yep,
- 14:57Speaker 11: after where they recognized my voice and go, is that you?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yep.
- 15:00Speaker 3: I still remember when Dan lewis, as lazy as he was,
- 15:02Speaker 3: he did prep me pretty well for the job that
- 15:05Speaker 3: I took from him eventually, and that was that he
- 15:09Speaker 3: told me about you. He's like, there are certain people
- 15:10Speaker 3: that when they call in, you just put them right
- 15:12Speaker 3: up front. They're going to be good no matter what.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, And the one person that
- 15:17Speaker 3: it was actually accurate was you. So, first of all,
- 15:19Speaker 3: thank you for always being there for us and we
- 15:22Speaker 3: appreciate that. And if you want hanky, because you're not
- 15:28Speaker 3: going to work for a little bit right, probably about
- 15:31Speaker 3: another thirty minutes. Okay, so you're gonna hang out right
- 15:33Speaker 3: there for a second. So since we're in Arlington and
- 15:36Speaker 3: we're talking about familiar faces, I actually went to school
- 15:39Speaker 3: in Arlington, so I went to When I first moved
- 15:41Speaker 3: to Texas, it was Dallas when I was nine, and
- 15:43Speaker 3: eventually Richardson and Plano, and then we moved to Arlington.
- 15:47Speaker 3: So I went to Arlington lamar just down the road here,
- 15:51Speaker 3: and I remember this area a little bit differently than
- 15:55Speaker 3: what it is now. Some stuff is still here from
- 15:58Speaker 3: twenty years ago. Some stuff isn't, Like, for example, the
- 16:02Speaker 3: Windy's that is just south of US here on I
- 16:05Speaker 3: thirty in Collins, So just south it was on Collins.
- 16:08Speaker 3: If I remember correctly, and I know that's a big
- 16:10Speaker 3: stretch with my brain, but if I remember correctly, that
- 16:13Speaker 3: wasn't a Wendy's twenty five ish years ago, that was
- 16:18Speaker 3: a Tony Romans. Wow.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Okay.
- 16:20Speaker 3: And the reason I remember that wasn't because I ate
- 16:23Speaker 3: the ribs there, because I don't think we ever went there.
- 16:25Speaker 3: The reason I remember it is because that's when I
- 16:27Speaker 3: got into my very worst fender bender in high school.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Ok because I was in I was in my S
- 16:33Speaker 3: ten Blazer, following too closely behind a pickup truck and
- 16:38Speaker 3: like a teenager does, didn't pay close enough attention, And
- 16:41Speaker 3: when all the lines of traffic slammed on the brakes
- 16:43Speaker 3: at road to six Flags, I didn't and his tailgate
- 16:49Speaker 3: was down. Oh no, so my grill fit perfectly right
- 16:54Speaker 3: in that. I think it was like a nineteen eighty
- 16:56Speaker 3: something Chevy Silverado nice so it was a able to
- 17:00Speaker 3: crack headlight to headlight the radiator in between. And as
- 17:04Speaker 3: if that wasn't bad enough, getting into a wreck at all,
- 17:08Speaker 3: and like, Okay, my car is absolutely incapacitated. I'm gonna
- 17:11Speaker 3: have to call the You know they're gonna call the police.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Saw me, someone's gonna fall out of the truck and
- 17:15Speaker 3: pretend to be dead, and my insurance rache're gonna go up.
- 17:18Speaker 3: But I mean they're gonna be hurt too. But my
- 17:20Speaker 3: insurance raatechs a're gonna go up. Uh, my mom's gonna
- 17:22Speaker 3: be match, probably gonna kill me. But then, as if
- 17:25Speaker 3: all that stuff wasn't bad enough, out of the restaurant
- 17:29Speaker 3: from Tony Romas comes a buddy of mine and his
- 17:32Speaker 3: Dad okay. So I'm like, Dan, are you okay? We're
- 17:36Speaker 3: eating ribs at Tony Romas, and so you got in
- 17:39Speaker 3: this horrible reck. It's like, oh, you cracked your radiator.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Like someone kill me. I wanted my mom to show
- 17:44Speaker 3: up and murder me right at the intersection of Collins
- 17:47Speaker 3: and Road the sixth, Like there could have been like
- 17:49Speaker 3: a little like like like not a JFKX, but like
- 17:51Speaker 3: a little mark something where I could have been remembered
- 17:56Speaker 3: in that moment of embarrassment. So coming back to Arlington
- 18:00Speaker 3: mixed emotions for me.
- 18:01Speaker 4: Gotcha, it could be like a statue of you a radiator,
- 18:05Speaker 4: Yeah that.
- 18:08Speaker 3: When with a crack in it, like it's the liberty bell.
- 18:10Speaker 6: I didn't realize it, Like I didn't know Tony Romans
- 18:13Speaker 6: was still a thing. And then I when I moved
- 18:15Speaker 6: to Los Angeles, when I lived in Sherman Oaks and
- 18:18Speaker 6: sorry and Cino directly across from my house is still
- 18:23Speaker 6: till this day, Tony Roman is that.
- 18:25Speaker 3: The last one? Are there any of those left anywhere?
- 18:28Speaker 6: I think it's right next to a blockbuster.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Where I has two kmarts, so it's next to a
- 18:37Speaker 3: sound warehouse and one more segue into something from the
- 18:44Speaker 3: past coming to revisit us has absolutely nothing to do
- 18:46Speaker 3: with us, but it does have to do with a
- 18:48Speaker 3: very special lady that I'm really glad to tell you about,
- 18:51Speaker 3: and that is a thirty five year old woman from
- 18:54Speaker 3: Florida who got recently arrested. Not for her first sex
- 18:59Speaker 3: toy related fight in two years. No, no, this was
- 19:03Speaker 3: her second sex toy related fight in two years, because
- 19:10Speaker 3: in twenty twenty two, she got into it with her
- 19:12Speaker 3: boyfriend after he caught her trying to leave the sex
- 19:16Speaker 3: toy that he rightfully owned. Just imagine following that paperwork trail, right,
- 19:21Speaker 3: So she kicked him and bid him and the police
- 19:25Speaker 3: arrested her for domestic battery. This time though she was
- 19:29Speaker 3: hanging out with the same guy. This is bat Now
- 19:31Speaker 3: we're into present day, so it's like Marty and the
- 19:34Speaker 3: Dock now back into the Dolorian Rail present time. This
- 19:36Speaker 3: time she's taken out with the same dude eleven pm.
- 19:39Speaker 3: He realizes she snuck in a glass toy that he
- 19:43Speaker 3: owned into her backpack. So not only is she a
- 19:47Speaker 3: very violent individual, but she's a bit of a klepto.
- 19:51Speaker 3: And now, according to police, He was rifling through the
- 19:53Speaker 3: backpack when she grabbed him by the neck tried to
- 19:55Speaker 3: wrestle him to the ground. They tussled for a few minutes.
- 19:57Speaker 3: That's how you know it's a really good saying is
- 20:00Speaker 3: when they describe it as a tussle. Isn't that right?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Officers say thank you, thank you? Detective I'll tell you're
- 20:06Speaker 3: gonna say.
- 20:06Speaker 6: That's when you know it's a really good sex toy
- 20:09Speaker 6: is when you tussle over it.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Is it also that, detective? Yeah, I get it. Thumbs
- 20:13Speaker 3: up from Detective Hadling on that one.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Thank you forward right yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Uh so then she grabbed the toy and threw it
- 20:21Speaker 3: at him like you do, Robert, You work in you
- 20:24Speaker 3: work in security. Now have you ever you ever thrown
- 20:26Speaker 3: anything at somebody doing doing wrong?
- 20:30Speaker 4: No? I had to a little.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Closer on the microphone there.
- 20:34Speaker 11: You have to do us say what I had to
- 20:36Speaker 11: throw two families out of a chuggy cheese.
- 20:38Speaker 3: What were they doing in the ballpit?
- 20:41Speaker 5: They weren't doing anything in the ball pit, but they
- 20:43Speaker 5: were standing there swearing at each other.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Oh gotcha?
- 20:47Speaker 4: Okay, alcoholic cheese.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Yes they do now because they need to sell alcoholic
- 20:52Speaker 3: U cheese.
- 20:54Speaker 4: They don't. They don't need to sell sex toys at
- 20:55Speaker 4: a chucky chee. That's a terrible idea.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Well that's in the clock, right.
- 21:05Speaker 8: Okay, just did y'all know because I actually I happened
- 21:08Speaker 8: to see this today that they now sell sex toys
- 21:11Speaker 8: at CBS?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Excuse me?
- 21:13Speaker 7: Yes?
- 21:14Speaker 3: Who said? Yeah?
- 21:16Speaker 12: They do?
- 21:17Speaker 4: Now?
- 21:17Speaker 3: Did you go into CVS looking for that specific aisle
- 21:20Speaker 3: or you're like, hey, look what did I find? Okay,
- 21:23Speaker 3: very yeah, you just tripped over it.
- 21:25Speaker 6: So you can just walk You can just walk into
- 21:27Speaker 6: a CBS and be like, hey, do you have some
- 21:28Speaker 6: vitamin D and a dildo?
- 21:30Speaker 3: They just like, no, it's Vitamin D D.
- 21:36Speaker 7: And no, they're classier than that. It's just vibrators.
- 21:41Speaker 3: I need clarification on this because because we know someone
- 21:44Speaker 3: that works for CVS and kind of high up, not
- 21:47Speaker 3: on a toy, but like highppened in the corporate line.
- 21:49Speaker 3: So they what what they have?
- 21:54Speaker 7: It looked like vibrators.
- 21:56Speaker 8: They had a couple of things for him. Well, I mean,
- 21:59Speaker 8: and I want to say, maybe like a vibrating butt plug.
- 22:01Speaker 7: But are you sure that wasn't just a s.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Scene on TV section?
- 22:07Speaker 6: Like you said, the copper pans and are you sure
- 22:10Speaker 6: it's just not your CBS, Like.
- 22:15Speaker 4: I know where you live, the investigating for that long.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Okay, now now I'm genuinely curious. You're not making this up.
- 22:22Speaker 4: You said, I'm not making this up?
- 22:24Speaker 3: Is this the CVS where the loon? May she rest
- 22:26Speaker 3: in peace?
- 22:26Speaker 4: The loon?
- 22:27Speaker 1: Is that?
- 22:27Speaker 3: Because now the bar we went to in Dallas for
- 22:29Speaker 3: so many years closed down and it got replaced, like
- 22:31Speaker 3: many things, by a CBS. Is it that one? Uh?
- 22:34Speaker 12: No?
- 22:34Speaker 3: Okay? But where is the sex toy CBS?
- 22:38Speaker 6: Uh?
- 22:39Speaker 7: Lemon and Inwood?
- 22:40Speaker 9: Oh?
- 22:41Speaker 3: Well, I mean that actually kind of makes sense.
- 22:43Speaker 8: But but they're all pretty universal and that's what obviously
- 22:46Speaker 8: someone else has seen it.
- 22:48Speaker 3: So where was Where was your fun CBS?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Oh?
- 22:52Speaker 3: In Arlington, Matt Locke? Was I twenty or I thirty?
- 22:57Speaker 3: Arlington's getting busy, man, you know that that actually is
- 23:00Speaker 3: not a surprise. And you've got this big, huge, white
- 23:03Speaker 3: bulbous Herbie sword in the middle of Iarlington. I think
- 23:06Speaker 3: it makes sense to have a fun CDs.
- 23:09Speaker 4: I like the fact that it's off of Inwood.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Thank you for picking up on that. That's very very
- 23:19Speaker 3: good of you. Ros Scharmer. The very good it's on Inwood.
- 23:23Speaker 3: He's got comedy tonight.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Actually you're in the visits online Treehouseonair dot com.
- 23:43Speaker 9: If you thought twenty twenty four couldn't get any scarier.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You were warmed.

- 24:26Speaker 1: Cue it. You're in the Treehouse. Visit us online.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I'm Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 24:41Speaker 3: We are back to Shankerton's and Arlington. Thank you to
- 24:44Speaker 3: everyone that is here for the Treehouse podcast roadshow. We
- 24:48Speaker 3: appreciate seeing here today. Real quick so, uh, before we
- 24:54Speaker 3: get this segment fired up, in the next segment, we
- 24:57Speaker 3: are going to play wrong Answers only, and I'm going
- 25:00Speaker 3: to draw one of the names out of our illustrious bucket,
- 25:03Speaker 3: and one of you will play wrong answers with all
- 25:06Speaker 3: of us up here for a prize on the table.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Speaking of the merged table, we still have some stuff
- 25:12Speaker 3: available if you would like to purchase.
- 25:14Speaker 4: We appreciate that.
- 25:16Speaker 3: And uh, what was the other thing?
- 25:20Speaker 4: Oh?
- 25:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so I mentioned earlier that you know we have
- 25:24Speaker 3: officers here, and I was curious, how often have you
- 25:27Speaker 3: guys speaking to I shouldrobably introduce these guys. We have
- 25:31Speaker 3: Steve Rutherford and Detective Curtis Hadley from Offbeat the Light
- 25:37Speaker 3: Side of Law Enforcement.
- 25:38Speaker 4: That is the.
- 25:41Speaker 3: One of the branch off shows of the Treehouse podcast Network.
- 25:44Speaker 3: They are now on episode twenty one. They are available
- 25:49Speaker 3: everywhere we are available all the podcast play is their website,
- 25:54Speaker 3: Offbeatcopshow dot com. In case you couldn't tell by the
- 25:57Speaker 3: shirts they're wearing that Steve hadn't made before we had
- 25:59Speaker 3: any things signed, he had t shirts made. I love that,
- 26:02Speaker 3: I love that, I love that go that go get
- 26:04Speaker 3: her attitude. So Steve and I have known each other
- 26:07Speaker 3: since he was first brought in to do security for
- 26:09Speaker 3: us at the radio station because he worked at Farmer's
- 26:12Speaker 3: Branch PD. Farmer's Branch drew the short straw because where
- 26:15Speaker 3: we were located on the tollway technically was Dallas. That
- 26:20Speaker 3: Dallas didn't want to deal with our nonsense when we
- 26:22Speaker 3: had crazy people come and do things at the radio station,
- 26:26Speaker 3: or occasionally fire bullets at the Kiss studio, which management
- 26:31Speaker 3: told us they assumed they were aiming for us, but
- 26:34Speaker 3: our studio didn't face the toll way. The Kiss Studio did,
- 26:37Speaker 3: so Billy the kid was really really pissed. Anyway. That's
- 26:40Speaker 3: how we met Steve Rutherford and now he's part of
- 26:42Speaker 3: the Treehouse Podcast Network. Thank you for being here, Steve,
- 26:45Speaker 3: We appreciate it. And Curtis Hadley his co host, one
- 26:49Speaker 3: of his wonderful co hosts. But you're the best, You're
- 26:52Speaker 3: the best person. The website again offbecopshow dot com. Okay,
- 26:56Speaker 3: so what their show is is all about sharing the
- 26:58Speaker 3: light side law enforcement. The funny side of policing doesn't
- 27:03Speaker 3: always see the light of day. So sex toys like
- 27:09Speaker 3: we just talked about this lady has now been charged
- 27:12Speaker 3: for a second time for the same exact defense. What
- 27:15Speaker 3: is your professional relationship with adult toys? Have you had one? Yeah?
- 27:27Speaker 1: On or off duty?
- 27:27Speaker 3: Which I said professional relationship meaning as a police officer,
- 27:31Speaker 3: have you ever had a interaction with a citizen over
- 27:35Speaker 3: some sort of adult toy mishap, stolen property, misplaced? Misplaced?
- 27:43Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 27:44Speaker 3: Yes, misplaced and running down the street. So stolen if
- 27:48Speaker 3: it's misplaced, that's the doctor's job.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Not mine.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Okay, fair point.
- 27:52Speaker 13: I'm not a search and rescue kind of guy. But no,
- 27:54Speaker 13: they do come up on search warrants and most of
- 27:57Speaker 13: your searches. That's why they're very prevalent in the.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Long Okay, thank you for that very professional answer, Detective
- 28:03Speaker 3: had They I appreciate that.
- 28:04Speaker 7: Do you have to in your in the notes?
- 28:07Speaker 4: Do you have to write like what the what the
- 28:10Speaker 4: toy is?
- 28:11Speaker 3: Well, first of all, it's not notes, it's a it's
- 28:13Speaker 3: a report that report.
- 28:15Speaker 4: But they have the little thing before they type it
- 28:18Speaker 4: all up. Oh you mean you mean.
- 28:19Speaker 3: The the cop Instagram or the cop instant messenger.
- 28:22Speaker 4: They know what I'm talking about, Like the little notebook.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I mean, you're you're taking notes on your little notepad.
- 28:26Speaker 6: But then and then you later, Yeah, and then you
- 28:30Speaker 6: put it into the computer later.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Yeah. So do you do you have to write down
- 28:34Speaker 4: like giant dildo?
- 28:38Speaker 14: Any chance, any chance you get to put something in
- 28:41Speaker 14: there like that?
- 28:42Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 28:42Speaker 13: Absolutely, there sweet. Most time it's like you have to
- 28:47Speaker 13: measure them. I don't know if you knew that, or
- 28:48Speaker 13: I need to measure make sure the wrong dildo back
- 28:50Speaker 13: to somebody if they come to get it later, okay.
- 28:53Speaker 3: And then you're like, okay, so this is the black
- 28:55Speaker 3: Mambo twelve inch. It's a very common model.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Now, but let me ask you. Have you ever given
- 29:01Speaker 4: the wrong dildo to somebody?
- 29:03Speaker 13: It has happened. Yes, they don't return them though, I
- 29:06Speaker 13: promise you they don't. No exchange program.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I bet that makes her a fun day though, like
- 29:14Speaker 3: for the for the evidence locker type of thing.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Do people walk by like battery, no battery, battery, no battery.
- 29:24Speaker 3: So I'm really glad this came up. And now that
- 29:26Speaker 3: I'm able to translate what Trey wrote down, does anyone
- 29:30Speaker 3: remember Jeff Curly from Fox four back in the day,
- 29:33Speaker 3: he was a reporter from Fox four. Yes, and he
- 29:36Speaker 3: had we've been doing on the show a little throwback
- 29:38Speaker 3: Thursday original viral videos and Jeff Curly on Fox four
- 29:42Speaker 3: had one of the absolute best in history. And I
- 29:44Speaker 3: tell you, well, dude, this coming week, we're going to
- 29:47Speaker 3: revisit that on the show. Yeah, did you guys see
- 29:50Speaker 3: the Jeff Curley video I'm talking about. Detective Hadley looks
- 29:53Speaker 3: completely lost on this, which makes me so happy. So
- 29:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna set the scene for you. Here's what was
- 29:59Speaker 3: happening during a live shot on Fox four. Jeff Curley
- 30:03Speaker 3: is doing a report from a I believe it was
- 30:05Speaker 3: a drug house or a murder had happened there.
- 30:08Speaker 7: I think it was the search warrant.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Thank you on a trap house?
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it was a trap house search warrant. And
- 30:16Speaker 3: so behind Jeff Curley on this so on TV, you're
- 30:19Speaker 3: looking at Jeff Curley, he's holding the microphone, he's doing
- 30:21Speaker 3: the thing, and behind him they're bringing out boxes of
- 30:24Speaker 3: evidence out of the house. And the officers behind him
- 30:28Speaker 3: saw that Jeff Curley was doing a live shot and
- 30:30Speaker 3: they decided to take that exact moment to bring out
- 30:33Speaker 3: the box that had the world's largest adult toy dildo
- 30:37Speaker 3: sticking out of it.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 30:39Speaker 3: It was beautiful. It is still one of the greatest
- 30:42Speaker 3: things ever. And to Jeff Curley's credit, he embraces it
- 30:47Speaker 3: the situation, not.
- 30:47Speaker 9: The about to say.
- 30:52Speaker 3: That is one of those things that I believe you,
- 30:54Speaker 3: Curtis would have done had you been on that scene
- 30:59Speaker 3: about Steeve. It is that in your playbook.
- 31:01Speaker 14: Absolutely, you look for any opportunity you can to really
- 31:04Speaker 14: lighten up the job.
- 31:05Speaker 3: And that's you know, hey, that goes back to the show.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Why we do the show.
- 31:08Speaker 14: I mean, there's by the way, you almost got attack
- 31:10Speaker 14: by your own banner there.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Well, that's just a poor tape job on my part.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I'll fix that later. No, nothing, a little spit and
- 31:17Speaker 3: uh maybe not spitting this now.
- 31:20Speaker 4: I was gonna say so.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Same with the sex toys.
- 31:24Speaker 14: No, that's what that's the big point about having the
- 31:26Speaker 14: whole offbeat cop show.
- 31:29Speaker 3: You know, cops get down fun at work. We do.
- 31:32Speaker 14: Most people don't hear about it. That's what we did
- 31:34Speaker 14: to share on the show. So you guys check it out.
- 31:37Speaker 4: You'll hear some funny as Absolutely.
- 31:39Speaker 6: I've been in the back seat and they have a
- 31:41Speaker 6: great time. I can't even tell you. They love to
- 31:46Speaker 6: choke and banter.
- 31:47Speaker 3: They really do, especially at your expense. So we'll just
- 31:51Speaker 3: keep your hands behind your back.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:54Speaker 6: I was worried about these when I when I sat down,
- 31:58Speaker 6: I was like, so this is about to be on
- 32:00Speaker 6: the show.
- 32:01Speaker 3: We call these zip ties. Roger knows them as handcuffs. Yeah,
- 32:06Speaker 3: so real quick with the offbeat lightside of law enforcement
- 32:10Speaker 3: they had on I think it was episode fourteen. So
- 32:13Speaker 3: a lot of times in the podcasting world they will
- 32:15Speaker 3: say things like, hey, if there was one show that
- 32:17Speaker 3: you could recommend, what would it be on?
- 32:19Speaker 4: Why it's not like a.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Surfer but just whatever. I think it was episode fourteen,
- 32:23Speaker 3: and that was the Lake story. Yes it was. I'm
- 32:28Speaker 3: not even sure how much I even feel comfortable sharing
- 32:31Speaker 3: about that story, because so there was a guy and
- 32:34Speaker 3: then the police were called on that guy. That's the
- 32:36Speaker 3: very short version, right, No, no, no.
- 32:38Speaker 14: The episode fourteen was the applicant who's filling out anytime
- 32:42Speaker 14: you apply for a police job, you're gonna take a
- 32:44Speaker 14: polygraph test, and prior to taking the polygraph, you're gonna
- 32:48Speaker 14: fill out a questionnaire and.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Then it's a really fed up questionnaire.
- 32:51Speaker 14: Yeah, there's one question on there is shared episode fourteen
- 32:56Speaker 14: where it asked, have you ever been involved in any
- 32:58Speaker 14: kind of deviant section behavior.
- 33:01Speaker 12: Yes, I'm sorry, no joke, no no, no, no, a cop, sir,
- 33:08Speaker 12: not not Well, I'm sure there's other reasons, but so
- 33:14Speaker 12: you have no idea.
- 33:16Speaker 14: We had a recruiting officer from Dallas Police Department on
- 33:19Speaker 14: he was handling some of these polygraph questionnaires for potential applicants.
- 33:25Speaker 14: Had one guy answered that particular question, said, yes, he
- 33:29Speaker 14: was at the lake once nobody was around, he caught
- 33:32Speaker 14: a fish and he had sex with the fish.
- 33:36Speaker 4: That's a good catch, right, that is.
- 33:40Speaker 3: A nice piece of bass.
- 33:41Speaker 4: But yeah, big mount, big mouth. You hope, you hope
- 33:47Speaker 4: you don't do big mouth. You're if it's a purse,
- 33:50Speaker 4: that's a bad day.
- 33:54Speaker 3: But it does make you think like when so like
- 33:56Speaker 3: when he because he was standing in the water, right, Oh,
- 34:00Speaker 3: we didn't get that detail. We were trying to floating
- 34:04Speaker 3: across the.
- 34:04Speaker 15: Top with them.
- 34:05Speaker 3: I now I have more questions. We have to go
- 34:07Speaker 3: back and get those officers on.
- 34:09Speaker 14: Well, and you know we were the discussion came up
- 34:11Speaker 14: what kind of fish was it? Of course Curtis mentioned bass,
- 34:14Speaker 14: and I thought, you know, maybe he just dropped a
- 34:15Speaker 14: b and he thought that's nice looking ask and he
- 34:18Speaker 14: went for it. But then it was like, okay, well
- 34:20Speaker 14: maybe it was a catfish, but we all agreed that
- 34:22Speaker 14: no catfish or bottom meters So wasn't a catfish?
- 34:26Speaker 3: Well then he would have been turned over, yes, okay,
- 34:29Speaker 3: and the other.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:32Speaker 3: But like like look, fishermen or fishermen, and if you
- 34:35Speaker 3: if you come back with a full load and the
- 34:39Speaker 3: other guys are going to ask, hey, what are you
- 34:43Speaker 3: running out there?
- 34:47Speaker 4: Is it stink?
- 34:47Speaker 7: Mate?
- 34:48Speaker 4: In that case, is there a bomber?
- 34:52Speaker 3: Because that was the guy somebody got.
- 34:56Speaker 7: Under It gets trolling a whole new meeting.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's a good time to take a commercial.
- 35:02Speaker 9: Break in today.
- 35:03Speaker 4: It also gives meeting time.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Oh god, Curtis just killed it right there, poor Marlon.
- 35:10Speaker 3: That is Curtis and Steve from Off Meat, The Light
- 35:12Speaker 3: Side of Law Enforcement.
- 35:15Speaker 10: You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online a Treehouse

- 35:51Speaker 3: full fine faces. In that commercial break we drew a
- 35:55Speaker 3: name out of the treehouse bucket, and Julie Torres's name
- 35:59Speaker 3: was pulled by Jerry Caldwell our Barker beauty inside the
- 36:04Speaker 3: tree house. So, first of all, congratulations to you Jerry
- 36:07Speaker 3: for making it out of the clutches of Bob Barker
- 36:11Speaker 3: and into the tree house. And congratulations to you Julie,
- 36:14Speaker 3: thank you for being here, and thank you. Are you

- 36:23Speaker 3: no one else knows how to play. It's a pretty
- 36:25Speaker 3: simple thing because we're all stupid in here. So this
- 36:28Speaker 3: is how wrong answers only works. I'm going to give
- 36:31Speaker 3: a sentence that might have a blank in it, or
- 36:35Speaker 3: I'll ask a question and then your job, Julie, along
- 36:38Speaker 3: with my panel here being Raj, Tray and Jerry, will
- 36:42Speaker 3: be to give the wrong answer. So the correct answer
- 36:46Speaker 3: is the wrong answer. Do you understand? All right, let's
- 36:49Speaker 3: find out that's the wrong button. Hang on, still the
- 36:53Speaker 3: wrong button. This bit never gets old, by the way, No,
- 36:59Speaker 3: that's not it definitely not that one. Yeah, no, henk uh,
- 37:04Speaker 3: you know what?
- 37:04Speaker 4: Actually, I think I know where that one is.

- 37:59Speaker 3: a playlist certain activities like maybe there's the gym playlist,
- 38:03Speaker 3: Maybe there's the work on the car playlist, maybe there's

- 38:10Speaker 3: anyone like to do gardening? Jerry, Burying bodies doesn't count
- 38:16Speaker 3: as gardening.
- 38:17Speaker 6: Also, smoking weed doesn't count as see it.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Kind of does, Okay, So the reason comes from So
- 38:23Speaker 3: the reason I ask about gardening is because Spotify put
- 38:26Speaker 3: together a list of the most popular artists on gardening playlists. Okay,
- 38:35Speaker 3: they did a top ten. So here's the wrong answer.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I'm looking for. Who is the second most popular artist
- 38:43Speaker 3: on Spotify's gardening playlist. I'll give you a moment to
- 38:48Speaker 3: think about your answer.
- 38:50Speaker 4: The second most Which band?
- 38:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you a hint. Which band is the
- 38:55Speaker 3: second most popular artist on gardening playlist on Spotify?
- 39:01Speaker 4: Give you a moment to think about your answer. Remember,
- 39:03Speaker 4: look for the wrong answer only here.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Okay, all right, Julie, do you have an answer? Jerny
- 39:09Speaker 3: all I asked, do you have an answer? Well, since
- 39:14Speaker 3: Julie broke the seal? All right, so Julie, you're you're
- 39:16Speaker 3: saying Journey is the wrong answer? Yes, yes, okay, that
- 39:23Speaker 3: is correct. It is not Journey raj culture Club. It
- 39:29Speaker 3: is not Culture Club. Trey who is the second most
- 39:32Speaker 3: popular gardening artist on Spotify?
- 39:34Speaker 7: The vinyls.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I Touched myself? Yes, all right, so on Spotify the
- 39:42Speaker 3: second most popular artist on the gardening playlist Jerry. Wrong answer,
- 39:46Speaker 3: Luke Skywalker. That not only is wrong, it just seems
- 39:51Speaker 3: really weird. But yeah, that's correct. Okay, do you have
- 39:55Speaker 3: a Luke Skywalker playlist. I have some Luke Skywalker at
- 39:58Speaker 3: my playlist.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Yeswer do you do you? Do you pomp that to gardening?
- 40:04Speaker 4: Do you? Oh?
- 40:05Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 40:06Speaker 4: Oh yeah, for sure. Why wouldn't you? Why why are
- 40:09Speaker 4: you question?
- 40:12Speaker 3: Don't be weird? R all right, So, in case you're curious,
- 40:16Speaker 3: the second most popular artist on Spotify's gardening playlist.
- 40:21Speaker 15: Is and I you not it's Pantera.
- 40:33Speaker 7: Was that survey taking at the clubhouse?
- 40:35Speaker 3: It might have been it? Actually it It's very possible, uh,
- 40:40Speaker 3: but it is.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Uh, so here we go here it is.
- 40:42Speaker 3: One of the most popular artists on gardening playlists is Pantera.
- 40:48Speaker 3: First place Hoosier, which, by the way, I also learned
- 40:53Speaker 3: in another headline earlier before the show, if you play
- 40:56Speaker 3: Dolly Parton songs had to slow down speed. Supposedly it
- 41:00Speaker 3: sounds like Hosier. I don't know. Uh. The other top
- 41:04Speaker 3: artists for gardening playlists after Hosier and Pantera h Drake,
- 41:09Speaker 3: The Lumineers, Post Malone, The Beatles, Fleetwood, Mac Kendrick, Lamar,
- 41:14Speaker 3: The Garden and Childish Gambino who knew? Oh Childish Gambino,
- 41:23Speaker 3: you say what? But Pantera makes sense.
- 41:26Speaker 7: Only in America really, and I've.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Been to the clubhouse. They never took a survey.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Well, look, I mean if Pantera gardening germinators from hell?
- 41:40Speaker 3: All right? Uh, the next one. Everybody ready for Wrong
- 41:43Speaker 3: Answers Part two? Yeah, hit the wrong button again. Hang on,
- 41:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna find it. All right. Here we go, Round

- 42:04Speaker 7: How's that spilled?
- 42:10Speaker 4: C o U?

- 42:19Speaker 3: Who do you think is the host of the new
- 42:22Speaker 3: Hulu docuseries all It's All Country? This is where they
- 42:27Speaker 3: take deep dives about the secrets behind your favorite songs
- 42:30Speaker 3: from your favorite country artist. So, which which country superstar
- 42:35Speaker 3: is the host? Which country superstar is the host of
- 42:39Speaker 3: this Hulu docuseries It's All Country? Julie, do you have
- 42:44Speaker 3: an answer? I did hang on to it, raj do
- 42:46Speaker 3: you have an answer? I do, Trey, I was a
- 42:51Speaker 3: little afraid. Jerry, do you have an answer? Okay, and
- 42:54Speaker 3: that guess. Let's start with you, Julie, you are a
- 42:55Speaker 3: special guest. Which country Superstar. Do you think is host
- 43:00Speaker 3: seeing this new docu series called It's All Country? Stevie Wonder.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Oh that's a good one.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Yeah. And because it's a good one, that means it's
- 43:09Speaker 3: the correct wrong answer.
- 43:11Speaker 4: It is not Stevie.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Wonder hosting that. Uh Trey, I'm gonna save you for last.
- 43:15Speaker 4: He hasn't seen the end of the documentary.

- 43:27Speaker 3: I don't even know who that is? But there, that's correct. Okay,
- 43:29Speaker 3: what you don't know Crystal Gale?
- 43:31Speaker 4: Stand by your mane?
- 43:35Speaker 8: That wasn't Crystal Gale. I had the hair that was
- 43:37Speaker 8: all the way down to the floor.
- 43:38Speaker 3: That's not on my wife's old country playlist. So I
- 43:41Speaker 3: don't know it.
- 43:41Speaker 4: Any of the Mandrels are the Mandrels on the.
- 43:45Speaker 6: Barbara Mandre But why, well you have to ask yourself
- 43:48Speaker 6: why the Indian guy knows who Barbara Mandrel.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Is because you grew up in mesquite something?
- 43:53Speaker 7: Because the Mandrel Hour on TV?

- 44:05Speaker 4: The docuseries on Hulu that's coming up?
- 44:07Speaker 3: Little Richard, that is not the right answer, which means

- 44:12Speaker 3: therefore correct trade. Who is hosting It's All Country?
- 44:15Speaker 7: Hall of Fame Country Artist my ex?

- 44:28Speaker 3: It is not your ex hosting the show, because it'd
- 44:32Speaker 3: be a very different style of show. No. In fact,
- 44:37Speaker 3: it is a new docu center. A new docuseries on

- 47:59Speaker 3: that's definitely not the right one. Hang on, no, oh,
- 48:05Speaker 3: that that's like yoga music. I don't know why that's
- 48:07Speaker 3: on there. Hang on, you know that's Enodhario's traffic bed.
- 48:12Speaker 3: That's Trey's ex girlfriend's audio. I already played that. There
- 48:18Speaker 3: we go. OK, this is kind of on the fly,
- 48:21Speaker 3: but you understand how it works on a road show. So,
- 48:23Speaker 3: in case you missed it, Luke Brian is starting in
- 48:26Speaker 3: a docu series called It's All Country, which uncovers the
- 48:30Speaker 3: untold stories behind all your favorite hit country songs episodes
- 48:43Speaker 3: in a lineup and c Hey, Mickey Geiton, Caane Brown,
- 48:47Speaker 3: Why Nonah Judd, and Shaboozie. So in case you're curious
- 48:51Speaker 3: about the deep dark secrets behind It's a Bar song,
- 48:57Speaker 3: Luke Brian's gonna gonna dig into Shaboozi on that out
- 49:00Speaker 3: what the inspiration was for bring us thirty more shots.
- 49:05Speaker 3: But you know what, it's Luke Brian and I'll probably
- 49:07Speaker 3: watch it because he's a super dope and let's enjoy
- 49:12Speaker 3: the super dopeness that is Lue Bright. Hey y'all, Hey Luke, Hello, sir,
- 49:20Speaker 3: Hey did Dan tell you about the new Hulu series
- 49:23Speaker 3: I'm hosting.
- 49:24Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 49:25Speaker 7: But we were hoping you would tell us some more.
- 49:27Speaker 3: I can tell you a little bit more, but in
- 49:29Speaker 3: order to do that, I need to properly set the scene.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Did y'all watch Unsolved Mysteries as a child? I did too,
- 49:40Speaker 3: and I thought, my god, look at all the fun
- 49:42Speaker 3: those people are having creating mysteries that have gone unsolved.
- 49:46Speaker 3: And I want to be a part of that. So
- 49:48Speaker 3: that's when I started writing hit country music songs. Because
- 49:51Speaker 3: I don't know if everybody knows this, but uh, country
- 49:54Speaker 3: music is a front. Country music is a front for
- 49:59Speaker 3: all the city bistic murderers, serial killers of the world.
- 50:03Speaker 3: All your favorite country artists are serial killers.
- 50:06Speaker 7: Did not know that?
- 50:07Speaker 3: That's right? That's that's part of what I got uncovering
- 50:10Speaker 3: this year Hulu series, and that's what I'm gonna do.
- 50:17Speaker 3: So for example, Luke Combs, you know his smash hit
- 50:23Speaker 3: Do you not know his smash hit Trey?
- 50:27Speaker 7: I know a Fast Car? He did a remake of
- 50:29Speaker 7: Fast Cars.
- 50:30Speaker 3: I don't know that Song's not interesting? No, no, no, Luke
- 50:34Speaker 3: Combs his smash hit Beautiful Crazy. Well, the deep dart
- 50:38Speaker 3: secret about that is that song's about Trey's exits, and
- 50:43Speaker 3: somehow Luke Combs got a hold of it and I'm
- 50:45Speaker 3: gonna get to the bottom of it. So sorry, Trey,
- 50:48Speaker 3: you're gonna get dragted the mud on this one. Also,
- 50:51Speaker 3: I'm gonna be talking to Lady A about one of
- 50:53Speaker 3: their big hits. By the way, I'm Luke Bryant. Hi. Look,
- 50:57Speaker 3: I may might be confusing looking at me, but it's
- 51:00Speaker 3: it's me in here inside this new goody package.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Uh.
- 51:04Speaker 4: So, lady ain't.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Uh you know their song We Own the Night? No, Well,
- 51:09Speaker 3: that's one of their big hits. The reason why is
- 51:11Speaker 3: because they're all vampires. Oh wow, telling you countries are
- 51:15Speaker 3: front for murderers. That's why I'm so big. Also, uh,
- 51:20Speaker 3: Tim McGraw, you know you know his song Live Like
- 51:23Speaker 3: You Were Dying. Yeah, that's because you're about to wow. Uh.
- 51:28Speaker 3: And you know a little big town there, they're they're
- 51:31Speaker 3: big hit pong toon. Yeah, it's called pontoon because that's
- 51:36Speaker 3: what they used to dump all the bodies they just
- 51:38Speaker 3: you know, killed dark. It's very dark, but that's that's
- 51:42Speaker 3: what sells on on stream. And you know, also there's
- 51:46Speaker 3: my songs. I'm gonna do a deep dive into my
- 51:48Speaker 3: own songs. Well, I'm gonna. I'm gonna do a deep dive,
- 51:54Speaker 3: first of all, to find my truck. It's still down
- 51:56Speaker 3: in that pond. Okay, I'm also gonna. I'm also gonna
- 51:59Speaker 3: tell you about the dark secrets of the song Drink
- 52:01Speaker 3: of Beer. And the reason why is because that's what
- 52:05Speaker 3: I do after I kill people have a cold one
- 52:09Speaker 3: I do. I sit on the pier and I watched
- 52:11Speaker 3: little big town dumb bodies from their pontoon and and
- 52:14Speaker 3: I it mixed me thirsty. Also, you know my you know,
- 52:18Speaker 3: the crash, my apply of parties. Yeah, because I got
- 52:20Speaker 3: to go to Mexico and do concerts for the weekends.
- 52:23Speaker 3: It's not just about you know, screwups and drugs and drugs.
- 52:31Speaker 3: You sound like my wife. It's not just about that, baby,
- 52:34Speaker 3: It's about other stuff. It's also about because the fuzz
- 52:36Speaker 3: was hot on my trailer and had to go to
- 52:37Speaker 3: Mexico for a while. T things cool now, Yeah, but
- 52:41Speaker 3: you know, uh, you know George Straight the King right,
- 52:43Speaker 3: Uh huh, you know what what do you mean?
- 52:46Speaker 2: Oh?
- 52:46Speaker 3: No, George Street. Yeah, I'm telling you country music stars.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Country music it's a front for for countless murders across
- 52:55Speaker 3: the world. And then we hide behind the beautiful songs.
