- 0:00Speaker 1: Mm hmmmm.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Mmm. Hello, Hello, Hello, drinking things. Surprise, surprise, cheers, cheers.
- 0:21Speaker 2: What a week slash weekend it's been. I need a
- 0:24Speaker 2: weekend for my weekken very much?
- 0:27Speaker 1: So can I go back on vacation again? Because I
- 0:30Speaker 1: didn't get much of him?
- 0:33Speaker 2: No, Yo, you're you're with You're with JT. Tonight, Terry's
- 0:38Speaker 2: finishing up her spring break well deserved. She spent a
- 0:42Speaker 2: good majority of the day driving and so I gave
- 0:45Speaker 2: her a call because I forgot she was finishing up
- 0:48Speaker 2: today and uh, hey, she was about to hop in
- 0:52Speaker 2: a bath so good for you. Keep it up.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I mean she could have. She had kind of streamed
- 0:57Speaker 1: from the bathtub. Think of the views, Terry, Think of
- 1:00Speaker 1: the views. I'm just kidding.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I hear what she's saying in my head, and it's
- 1:08Speaker 2: more to stay on, don't we? We want to stay
- 1:10Speaker 2: on YouTube? Right, I mean, I'm just saying, think about
- 1:17Speaker 2: all those NERD programmers, baby, and do it.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I'm sure maybe anyway, So you're stuck with us too tonight,
- 1:24Speaker 1: So congratulations.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And you're gonna like it.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You're gonna like it. We're here anyway, So well tonight
- 1:33Speaker 1: we're gonna dive into episode six of our special investigation
- 1:37Speaker 1: Zizian's un Field. This multi part deep dive exposes the
- 1:42Speaker 1: chilling truth behind the sission, called a radical mix of
- 1:45Speaker 1: trans vegan rationalist anarchists who have left a trail of
- 1:48Speaker 1: bodies stretching coast to coast. This is, without a doubt,
- 1:52Speaker 1: the most bizarre and complex true crime case I've ever encountered,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and with new details emerging almost daily, the story just
- 2:00Speaker 1: caps getting wilder. Now. This is the second to last
- 2:05Speaker 1: episode for the series. Four now four now, but make
- 2:09Speaker 1: sure you've subscribed to hit that like button and turn
- 2:11Speaker 1: on notifications because you won't want to miss when we
- 2:13Speaker 1: come back with all the trial updates. But before we
- 2:17Speaker 1: get into that, let's talk about what we're both drinking tonight.
- 2:20Speaker 2: GT.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Why don't you why don't you tell us?
- 2:23Speaker 2: Well, you know it'd be nice, lady and Gray, thank you,
- 2:31Speaker 2: thank you. I don't know what's going on with that anyways. Yeah, sure,
- 2:34Speaker 2: you know, I didn't really have anything, and I was
- 2:36Speaker 2: gonna go with something like sprite, but you know, then
- 2:38Speaker 2: I was at the grocery store and found something. So
- 2:42Speaker 2: what I chose was it's called aviva stella. Miall me.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I'm sure, that's what that's been somewhere. It's it's a
- 2:53Speaker 2: black semi sweet wine. So they call it. Here's what
- 2:56Speaker 2: they say. I love these descriptions. I feel like I
- 2:59Speaker 2: should write these descriptions. It would be fantastic. But they
- 3:02Speaker 2: call it a seductively semi sweet red made with delicate
- 3:06Speaker 2: grapes that reveal a dark purple color and deliver fresh
- 3:09Speaker 2: flavors and aromas of blueberry, blackberries, cherry, and red currant.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But they're grapes. They suggested to be served chilled with
- 3:17Speaker 2: fresh fruit, spicy cuisine, cheese, and dessert. Well instead, I'm
- 3:21Speaker 2: going to serve it up with absolutely Banana's multi part
- 3:24Speaker 2: investigation that we've got going on here. So they said,
- 3:28Speaker 2: cheese and dessert, fresh fruit, bananas. It's fine. It works.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So like, listen, if you're new here, brush your bread.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Your hair, Okay, bress.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Your heart, breast your brave little heart. Bless your brave
- 3:48Speaker 2: little heart. Definitely go back and check out the other ones.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But listen, this isn't your average he said. She said
- 3:53Speaker 2: that we typically do. This is kind of more like
- 3:55Speaker 2: they blog. They posted they may be merch someone with
- 3:58Speaker 2: Samurai slid. A couple of times, So grab a drink
- 4:02Speaker 2: and fasten your five point emotional seatbelt and activate your
- 4:04Speaker 2: inner it department because you are going to need a
- 4:07Speaker 2: conspiracy wall at the end of these at least at
- 4:11Speaker 2: the end. And and also three browsers open, so just
- 4:15Speaker 2: you know, get ready, right, Yes.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I've crashed my one computer so many times and writing
- 4:24Speaker 1: in this case, may I just say, fasten your five
- 4:27Speaker 1: pointed emotional seatbelt might be one of my new favorite things. Ever,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it's very reddy and clever. I enjoy that lady and
- 4:34Speaker 1: Gray has her tenfoil hat on and adjusted. Well tonight,
- 4:40Speaker 1: I'm still working my way through this box of Frenzya
- 4:46Speaker 1: crisp white, which I don't know what I find most
- 4:50Speaker 1: funny about this, now that you mentioned what yours, paired
- 4:52Speaker 1: it up with this paired up with pasta, fresh vegetables,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and hi, somehow it knows that's the only way to.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Get me hiking.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Hiking is yeah, right there, it's a hiking.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So their suggestion is to take the whole box with
- 5:13Speaker 2: you on a hike.
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's the only way you're gonna get me on a hike.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Because if I can put you know, like those camelbacks,
- 5:18Speaker 1: I just need one of those with water. I'm hiking
- 5:20Speaker 1: instead of water. But it's uh, it's I'm gonna be
- 5:24Speaker 1: honest with y'all, it's uh, it's it's not great. Okay,
- 5:28Speaker 1: it's not great, and I do not recommend it, but
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm not going to be wasteful, so I'm drinking it.
- 5:34Speaker 1: But it's that great.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Uh.
- 5:37Speaker 1: What I do recommend, though, is this episode. So why
- 5:40Speaker 1: don't we get into into it, you guys, let's get
- 5:45Speaker 1: in store for us.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and before we do that, listen, this series involves
- 5:51Speaker 2: many non binary and transgender people. We are not going
- 5:54Speaker 2: to avoid these topics is they're important to the philosophy
- 5:56Speaker 2: the cult. All subjects are going to be introduced with
- 5:59Speaker 2: their chosen name and legal name. For the sake of
- 6:01Speaker 2: legal research. We're going to do our best to use
- 6:04Speaker 2: appropriate pronouns. But please know that if any mistakes are made,
- 6:08Speaker 2: it speaks to the vast number of players in the
- 6:10Speaker 2: case and the complicated nature of their beliefs, and it
- 6:12Speaker 2: is in no way intended to show disrespect to their
- 6:17Speaker 2: gender identity. Now, we're very proud of the respectful, inclusive
- 6:20Speaker 2: chat community that we've built here. Our regulars know the
- 6:24Speaker 2: drill but to anyone popping in, please know that we're
- 6:27Speaker 2: not going to tolerate hate speech. Listen. Statistically speaking, trans
- 6:31Speaker 2: people are four times more likely than since gendered people
- 6:34Speaker 2: to be the victims of crime. We are not here
- 6:37Speaker 2: to fan that fire. We are here to discuss how
- 6:40Speaker 2: this group of bright young people ended up involved in
- 6:44Speaker 2: multiple deaths.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yes, that's right, that's right. And just like with the
- 6:48Speaker 1: previous episodes, you guys, we've made some very helpful graphics
- 6:51Speaker 1: to go along with the story. So if you're listening
- 6:53Speaker 1: to this as a podcast, I can't suggest enough that
- 6:56Speaker 1: you watch this on our True crime and wint on
- 6:58Speaker 1: YouTube channel that follow a lot. And if you're just
- 7:01Speaker 1: catching this for the first time and a little confused,
- 7:03Speaker 1: which at this point you would be very confused, but
- 7:06Speaker 1: you can find these episodes on that YouTube channel under lives,
- 7:09Speaker 1: or on our curated playlist about the Zizzians. As we've
- 7:13Speaker 1: said many times, you do not want to miss any
- 7:16Speaker 1: of the details on this case. So in case you
- 7:21Speaker 1: missed the last episode, let's do a quick refresh on
- 7:24Speaker 1: where we are in the storyline. Okay, because it's been
- 7:26Speaker 1: a week and lots of crazesiness has happened so okay.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Last episode in January twenty twenty, JD. Pressman started a website,
- 7:35Speaker 1: zizians dot info, which served as a warning to all
- 7:39Speaker 1: to stay away from Ziz and her friends. He accurately
- 7:43Speaker 1: predicted that this was going to end up with people
- 7:45Speaker 1: in jail or dead. Pressman also allegedly feared that Zizz
- 7:50Speaker 1: was out to kill him.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I like like predicting jail or death wasn't exactly a
- 7:59Speaker 2: psychic vision. It was just like called having eyes, ears
- 8:02Speaker 2: and an Internet connection. So not who.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Maybe not, but we'll actually hear someone else say something
- 8:11Speaker 1: eurally similar in this episode, so we also covered the
- 8:17Speaker 1: fake deaths of Sizz and Gwinn, who ended up being
- 8:20Speaker 1: alive and found at the scene of a crime. That
- 8:25Speaker 1: crime being the attempted murder of the group's elderly landlord,
- 8:28Speaker 1: Curtis Lynd. He was stabbed over fifty times, including being
- 8:33Speaker 1: impaled with a freaking samurai sword. During all of this,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Wind was able to shoot two of the alleged attackers,
- 8:42Speaker 1: wounding Somny and killing Emma. Eighty year old Lynn miraculously
- 8:47Speaker 1: survived the whole ordeal. That is, until this past January,
- 8:50Speaker 1: when he was brutally murdered in broad daylight in what
- 8:54Speaker 1: prosecutors believed was to prevent Lynd from testifying against Sammy
- 8:58Speaker 1: and Surrey dw other allege attacker. It's truly a heartbreaking story,
- 9:05Speaker 1: you guys. So if you haven't heard it, definitely go
- 9:08Speaker 1: go listen to.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Tell this is It's definitely one of the most heartbreaking
- 9:15Speaker 2: stories that we've covered on this show, and we have
- 9:17Speaker 2: covered a lot of them. Like I see like a
- 9:21Speaker 2: lot of folks saying, well, he lived a hell of
- 9:23Speaker 2: a life, and I would say sure, but also it
- 9:26Speaker 2: doesn't matter whether it was twenty eighty or one hundred
- 9:27Speaker 2: and forty. Nobody deserves what was forced upon him at all,
- 9:31Speaker 2: all the times.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So tragic, so tragic, Captain Kirk Rip indeed. Indeed, now
- 9:42Speaker 1: for tonight's episode, we'll be talking about the unsolved murders
- 9:45Speaker 1: of Richard and Rita Zajko, which occurred less than two
- 9:49Speaker 1: months after the attentive murder of Curtis Lynd, just a
- 9:52Speaker 1: short period of time, you guys. We're also going to
- 9:55Speaker 1: dive deep into their only child in person of interest
- 9:58Speaker 1: in the murders, Jamie aka Michelle's Sageko. I don't want
- 10:03Speaker 1: to put too many spoilers out there, so let's get
- 10:06Speaker 1: into it. But before we do, is this why Terry
- 10:09Speaker 1: miss tonight is because she didn't want to try to
- 10:11Speaker 1: pronounce Doagko again. I think that's what it is. I
- 10:14Speaker 1: don't know she's really taken a bat, but she.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Just did that. Or the concern for the Star Wars
- 10:19Speaker 2: references that we were going to hoist Upota. It was
- 10:22Speaker 2: one of the two.
- 10:22Speaker 1: She's like, I'm out, I'm just kidding.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Right right, okay, all right, so listen. There isn't much
- 10:32Speaker 2: known about the backgrounds of Richard and Rita Zajko, but
- 10:35Speaker 2: we do know that Richard worked for a company that
- 10:39Speaker 2: had a contract with a nearby Philadelphia Navy yard, while
- 10:42Speaker 2: Rita stay at home. Now, the Zagko has owned several
- 10:45Speaker 2: rental units in the nearby town of Aston, Pennsylvania, where
- 10:49Speaker 2: Richard would spend much of his time checking in on
- 10:52Speaker 2: their tenants and fixing whatever needed to be fixed. Now,
- 10:55Speaker 2: Richard not only took care of his properties, but also
- 10:59Speaker 2: also tenants by charging renters for less than other units
- 11:03Speaker 2: went for and repeatedly encouraging them to save enough so
- 11:07Speaker 2: that they could buy their own homes At this as
- 11:10Speaker 2: far as landlords go, this guy's a damn unicorn. Like
- 11:13Speaker 2: they don't make them like this anymore or really ever, no,
- 11:17Speaker 2: and so so yeah, So anyways, Rita's parents were unwell
- 11:25Speaker 2: and lived nearby, and a lot of the couple's time
- 11:29Speaker 2: was dedicated to taking care of Rita's parents. Now, their
- 11:33Speaker 2: neighbors in the high Lands of Chester, Pennsylvania described them
- 11:39Speaker 2: as quote pretty quiet people, pretty nice people, admitting Richard's
- 11:44Speaker 2: yard work and Chris are sorry, admiring Richard's yardwork and
- 11:47Speaker 2: Christmas light display, and they sound like a hell of
- 11:50Speaker 2: a lot like my parents, and I don't like where
- 11:52Speaker 2: it's going.
- 11:54Speaker 1: They really do seem like very sweet and caring people.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And you know, at this point there, I think seventy
- 12:06Speaker 1: sixty nine years old something like that, so you know,
- 12:10Speaker 1: they're pretty active for their time too. Taking care of
- 12:14Speaker 1: her parents have to be like in their nineties. If
- 12:17Speaker 1: they're taking care of the nineties, you know it do
- 12:20Speaker 1: seem like really good people to their community. Well, yeys,
- 12:24Speaker 1: I got bad news, okay. So on January second, twenty
- 12:29Speaker 1: twenty three, police received a request for a welfare check
- 12:32Speaker 1: on Richard and Rita after the couple did not show
- 12:35Speaker 1: up to care for Rita's mother for two days. Officers
- 12:38Speaker 1: arrived at the Sage Co residence at five fourteen pm,
- 12:42Speaker 1: where they found the couple deceased in an upstairs bedroom,
- 12:45Speaker 1: but not just any bedroom. It was Jamie's childhood room.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Their manner of death was a homicide.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I can't imagine being like a first responder and seeing
- 12:58Speaker 2: something like that. It's got to be hand and like,
- 13:01Speaker 2: I hope that they were able to get some help
- 13:03Speaker 2: or talk to somebody afterwards, Like any of those cases
- 13:07Speaker 2: is terrible. But I'm trying to like juxtapose the double
- 13:10Speaker 2: homicide with being in a childhood room. You know, it
- 13:14Speaker 2: just seems so haunting.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Haunting, and it doesn't really seem like they live in
- 13:20Speaker 1: an area where this sort of thing happens, you know.
- 13:24Speaker 1: So like, oh, I can't imagine he's.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Known for his yard work in Christmas light, I would say,
- 13:30Speaker 2: probably not.
- 13:31Speaker 1: That's true real life. Oh my gosh, why did just
- 13:35Speaker 1: let me Clark gets Chris Walden. So when Richard's sister
- 13:43Speaker 1: in law, Roseanne, We're gonna call her aunt Roseanne for
- 13:46Speaker 1: the rest show. She is a VIP really, So when
- 13:50Speaker 1: Roseanne got the news about Richard and Rita's death. She
- 13:53Speaker 1: was devastated. Quote. I stayed on the floor. I wasn't
- 13:58Speaker 1: comprehending it. How can this happened to Rita and Rick
- 14:01Speaker 1: of all people? End Quote She briefly wondered by Jamie
- 14:05Speaker 1: Hannah called to deliver the news quote like she has
- 14:08Speaker 1: to know, But why didn't she call and tell us?
- 14:12Speaker 1: She remembered thinking, But then she thought, how would I
- 14:15Speaker 1: react if I got the news that both of my
- 14:17Speaker 1: parents were murdered? I would be in shock.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I couldn't for the life of me, Like even guess
- 14:24Speaker 2: how I'd react. I mean, if I was guilty, maybe,
- 14:27Speaker 2: but even then, I don't know. I don't know. That's
- 14:31Speaker 2: a really pretty house. By the way, that.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Home is gorgeous. Ane like that guy loved his line.
- 14:38Speaker 2: The double chimneys freaking awesome.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Anyway, I agree, it's beauty, beautiful home. I got lost,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and I know, I was like, is this on Zillow? Yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I bet there's a walkthrough of this home. Anyway, it's
- 14:58Speaker 1: like one rabbit hole. I didn't go down. So, since
- 15:02Speaker 1: this is still an ongoing investigation, many of the case
- 15:06Speaker 1: details have not been disclosed publicly, but there are some
- 15:10Speaker 1: things we do know. We know that the person who
- 15:13Speaker 1: called for the welfare check told police the last time
- 15:17Speaker 1: they saw the Zagekos was around eight pm on December
- 15:20Speaker 1: thirty first, which is not only New Year's Eve, it's
- 15:24Speaker 1: also Jamie's Aajeko's birthday her their thirtieth birthday to be exact,
- 15:31Speaker 1: also in the room, and we're not entirely sure. Anyway,
- 15:38Speaker 1: they found Jamie's license in the home, and that's apparently
- 15:44Speaker 1: how they knew the couple had a daughter or a child.
- 15:50Speaker 1: But we haven't found whether it was like a current
- 15:52Speaker 1: license or an old one. So I don't know how
- 15:55Speaker 1: much of a tidbit that is at this point in time,
- 15:57Speaker 1: because some people do hold on to their old licenses,
- 15:59Speaker 1: right they like lose them or keitha whatever. But I
- 16:03Speaker 1: don't see why they would bring it up if it
- 16:05Speaker 1: wasn't a current one. Also, why do you just need
- 16:09Speaker 1: a license to like id their only child? Like you
- 16:13Speaker 1: could have figured that out, I think, But okay, anyway,
- 16:17Speaker 1: so earlier in the day, on the thirty first, the
- 16:19Speaker 1: day of the murders, Rita texted Jamie using the encrypted
- 16:22Speaker 1: app signal. Apparently that text was about saving bonds intended
- 16:26Speaker 1: for Jamie, but Jamie never responded.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yes, at least it wasn't about war plans.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Oh signal, I don't use a signal only.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I don't either at all vibe.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Very certain demographic there. So there were also two nine
- 16:50Speaker 1: milimeters shell casings, each bearing a stamped impression of or
- 16:55Speaker 1: nine milimeter luger plus P SIG which Captain did.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Balloons?
- 17:08Speaker 1: I not those kind of red balloons. I don't really understand, uh,
- 17:14Speaker 1: the plus P designation. It indicates that the round is
- 17:16Speaker 1: loaded with a high pressure cartridge in near standard nine
- 17:20Speaker 1: millimeter luger ammunition. This can result in increased muzzle velocity
- 17:24Speaker 1: and impact force, but also increased recoil. I don't know
- 17:29Speaker 1: why you would upgrade, but I guess I think that
- 17:33Speaker 1: made it more special to like, I don't I don't
- 17:36Speaker 1: know why.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Years of narrating Active shooter and I've never had a
- 17:41Speaker 2: plus P STIG ever, never ever, has there ever been
- 17:45Speaker 2: a PLUSP in any of the stuff that over one
- 17:47Speaker 2: hundred episodes.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So it's a more rare type of bullet, yeah, yeah,
- 17:55Speaker 1: or maybe just not one I'm that a general person
- 17:56Speaker 1: would probably buy anyway. So autopsy's revealed that Rita had
- 18:02Speaker 1: a gunshot wound to the back of the head. Richard
- 18:06Speaker 1: had taken a bullet in his right hand and another
- 18:09Speaker 1: in his right temple, and I'm assuming that he was
- 18:13Speaker 1: holding his hand at the time, would be my guess there. Sorry,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I have to visually demonstrate for everyone.
- 18:21Speaker 2: So to me, that's like not just murder, that's I mean,
- 18:26Speaker 2: those are like execution style killings to me. I mean,
- 18:30Speaker 2: somebody'd have to be overpowered, stand sitting, kneeling still with
- 18:36Speaker 2: somebody behind them with a gun or anything like that.
- 18:39Speaker 2: So it's a very it's a power type thing. It's
- 18:42Speaker 2: very much execution style to me. So Lady and Gray
- 18:48Speaker 2: asked were the hollow point used or others? So a
- 18:52Speaker 2: quote jacketed hollow point type bullet was recovered from Richard's skull.
- 18:56Speaker 2: We're going to talk more about that later. One piece
- 19:00Speaker 2: of crucial evidence has been shared with the public, and
- 19:05Speaker 2: that is the neighbor's ring camera. So let's let's oh, hey,
- 19:11Speaker 2: look there's a ring camera, so like starting.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it hasn't been released yet, just the knowledge of it,
- 19:20Speaker 1: by the way.
- 19:22Speaker 2: So starting at at around eleven twenty nine pm, but
- 19:26Speaker 2: it showed that an unknown vehicle pulled into the Zajko's
- 19:30Speaker 2: curved driveway adjacent to the front door and turned off
- 19:34Speaker 2: its headlights. A minute later, high pitched shouts could be
- 19:37Speaker 2: heard from the surveillance feed, and then twenty four seconds
- 19:41Speaker 2: elapsed between the shouting between the shouting of mom and
- 19:45Speaker 2: exclaiming oh my God, Oh God God. After the shouts,
- 19:50Speaker 2: movement can be seen at the front door which appears
- 19:53Speaker 2: which appeared to open and then shut, indicating that subjects
- 19:57Speaker 2: entered the house and upstairs light inside the house turned on.
- 20:02Speaker 2: About nine minutes later, two subjects could be seen exiting
- 20:06Speaker 2: the front door. The pair then entered the car and
- 20:09Speaker 2: pulled out of the driveway. So on January yeah Yeah.
- 20:17Speaker 2: On January thirty first, about a month following the welfare check,
- 20:21Speaker 2: the police released a public information release a public information
- 20:27Speaker 2: release report sharing the information about the welfare check, asking
- 20:32Speaker 2: the public to share any information and tips, and they
- 20:37Speaker 2: said quote the Criminal Investigation Unit has executed numerous search warrants,
- 20:42Speaker 2: conducted dozens of interviews, and have obtained new evidence regarding
- 20:46Speaker 2: this homicide. Based on this information, it is believed at
- 20:51Speaker 2: this time not to be a random act of violence.
- 20:54Speaker 2: This homicide is still under investigation.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, when they say it's not a random act of violence,
- 21:02Speaker 1: it means that it is somebody of that person knows
- 21:07Speaker 1: and uh, so far it's not looking good. So let's
- 21:12Speaker 1: talk a little bit about Jamie. So, Jamie was born
- 21:17Speaker 1: on December thirty first, nineteen ninety two. They were adopted
- 21:20Speaker 1: by Richard and Rita Zajko as a baby and then
- 21:24Speaker 1: named Michelle Jacqueline Zachko and Race and the very nice
- 21:29Speaker 1: home that we just saw in Chester Heights, Pennsylvania. Jamie
- 21:33Speaker 1: went on to study biology at the now defunct Cabrini
- 21:36Speaker 1: University in Pennsylvania before earning a master's degree in bio
- 21:40Speaker 1: informatics at Temple University. Not only did Jamie find work
- 21:45Speaker 1: as a research and intern for the Esteemed Children's Hospital
- 21:49Speaker 1: in Philadelphia, but they also interned at NASA's Ames Research
- 21:52Speaker 1: Center in California, studying how spaceflight stresses the human body.
- 21:59Speaker 1: They also ill a traded a children's book, Turbo the
- 22:02Speaker 1: Flying Dog, making Sashko this second known associate of Ziz
- 22:06Speaker 1: to have a published children's book for some reason. For
- 22:11Speaker 1: some reason there there they had both are because the
- 22:16Speaker 1: other one was Maximilian Bett Lee Snyder when he was eleven,
- 22:20Speaker 1: wrote that.
- 22:23Speaker 2: So I I like it sounds like a pretty charmed life.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Now maybe it was semi charmed, and maybe it wasn't perfect,
- 22:32Speaker 2: but holy cow, allegedly all for not allegedly right. Allegedly.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Jamie was once quoted by the Cabrini University newspapers saying, quote,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I want to help save people for my career end quote.
- 22:49Speaker 1: It is unclear when they changed their name to Jamie
- 22:52Speaker 1: and began identifying as non binary. We know as far
- 22:57Speaker 1: back as at least twenty nineteen would be sometime when
- 23:02Speaker 1: we found them going by Jamie.
- 23:06Speaker 2: So yes, and that's where we're going to go to.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Another person, though well educated, fluent, going blaces, trying to
- 23:16Speaker 1: save the world.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Mm hmm okay, yeah, until they weren't. There is one
- 23:23Speaker 2: common denominator in all of this that there is, So
- 23:29Speaker 2: we're gonna go to Jamie's time in California in twenty nineteen.
- 23:34Speaker 2: It's still crazy to be thinking that we're talking literally
- 23:37Speaker 2: six years ago. So in terms of you know, thanks
- 23:43Speaker 2: to Somny's tumbler, we can put Jamie in the San
- 23:46Speaker 2: Francisco area around twenty nineteen. Now, when they arrived there, don't.
- 23:52Speaker 2: We don't know when it was, but apparently Jamie was
- 23:54Speaker 2: living in a house with Alice Monday, Emma, and Somny.
- 23:58Speaker 2: They named this house else Guilt, which is a tadd
- 24:02Speaker 2: on the nose. Allegedly, Somny goes on to describe events
- 24:07Speaker 2: of abuse performed by Alice Monday on Soomny, Emma and Jamie. Now,
- 24:12Speaker 2: how true those allegations are we don't know. And we
- 24:16Speaker 2: all know that Somny is unfortunately an unreliable narrator.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she is tense.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I tried so damn hard to come up with some
- 24:27Speaker 2: kind kind of an analogy for how unreliable, but there
- 24:30Speaker 2: was nothing I could put together that even matched it. So,
- 24:35Speaker 2: so who's Alice Monday? You say, certainly not a James
- 24:40Speaker 2: Bond character, but it sounds like it. So there isn't
- 24:44Speaker 2: much known about Alice Monday. She once worked for b Minder,
- 24:50Speaker 2: an Oregon startup that is unfortunately not about bees at all,
- 24:54Speaker 2: but more of an apt to pay rationalists to remind
- 24:57Speaker 2: you of things. Now, I just want to say, like
- 24:59Speaker 2: they remind you by sending bees. Probably Apparently this is
- 25:05Speaker 2: as far back as twenty fourteen, she interacted with rationalist
- 25:08Speaker 2: thinker Scott Alexander on his influential Slate Star Codex blog.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Now we've heard about the Slate Star Codex before. They
- 25:19Speaker 2: had this cool map thing that we don't understand that
- 25:24Speaker 2: we don't get at all. All of a sudden, I
- 25:30Speaker 2: just want to like, grab a ring and go on
- 25:31Speaker 2: an adventure. I don't know why, but a prucless. I
- 25:41Speaker 2: don't know why that happened. But listen, we also know
- 25:44Speaker 2: that according to this, at one time she considered Alice
- 25:48Speaker 2: her mentor. Now we know a lot about visit this point,
- 25:52Speaker 2: and if Alice Bundy was her mentor, then we can
- 25:54Speaker 2: expect a whole other level of that. So oh look, listen,
- 26:00Speaker 2: captain has its reliable as a raccoon and a lobster bib,
- 26:06Speaker 2: very true with his little hands trying to grab the claws.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Oh gosh. So Jamie's aunt, Roseanne Jasko aunt Roseanne told
- 26:19Speaker 1: a reporter quote, I had spoken with her while she
- 26:22Speaker 1: was out in California, and she was very happy. She
- 26:25Speaker 1: said that she and her girlfriend Alice would be moving
- 26:27Speaker 1: to Vermont. The Bay area was expensive. I think she
- 26:31Speaker 1: used the word so crushing, and they were looking for
- 26:33Speaker 1: a change of scenery.
- 26:35Speaker 2: It's too bad they didn't have a bead on a tugboat.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Sure, Now I include this part about what Aunt Roseanne
- 26:44Speaker 1: said because it checks out, all right, It checks out
- 26:47Speaker 1: to the living conditions out there. You know. She also
- 26:52Speaker 1: said that Jamie seems kind of happy, so maybe that's
- 26:55Speaker 1: counter contradicting some of the things that Sammy said in
- 26:58Speaker 1: her blog.
- 27:01Speaker 2: You know, it's it's interesting like one broke back bitch
- 27:05Speaker 2: is sad, two broke back Bitches is a tragedy, three
- 27:08Speaker 2: or more. As a cult, it's the weirdest thing. How
- 27:11Speaker 2: that it just was weird. I don't know.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Oh gosh, if they would have just stayed on their.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Boats went off into the sunset, literally just continue on.
- 27:21Speaker 2: You can go to Russia. That's cool.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So around October twenty twenty, Jamie and Alice both registered
- 27:29Speaker 1: to vote in Coventry, Vermont. There they lived in a
- 27:32Speaker 1: house together at thirteen hundred Webster Road, which was purchased
- 27:36Speaker 1: in twenty twenty one by a trust. Look how cute
- 27:39Speaker 1: that place is. It's a cute.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Little Wait, whose trust? What trust?
- 27:46Speaker 1: It's an anomous trust.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Trust.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Glad you asked. It's actually we don't know it was
- 27:51Speaker 1: an anonymous trust. From all we can fine, like, we
- 27:54Speaker 1: don't know who, like which side? Was it Alice it
- 28:00Speaker 1: or was it Jamie? We don't know. So it's too
- 28:04Speaker 1: late for a spin off.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Cott and Grease company. Fourth. Oh you know what, it's
- 28:11Speaker 2: never too late, never too late.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Never too late.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It was a pretty remote place, about twenty miles from
- 28:19Speaker 1: the Canadian border, which we've been there before. Later that
- 28:24Speaker 1: same year, Jamie bought another half acre of land fifteen
- 28:28Speaker 1: miles away in Derby, Vermont. Aunt Roseanne said that Jamie
- 28:32Speaker 1: became increasingly estranged from their family after arriving in Vermont.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Why did they buy other he's a land.
- 28:41Speaker 2: So well, I mean, listen, the boat thing didn't work out,
- 28:45Speaker 2: so they're going to come up with like a ski resort,
- 28:47Speaker 2: A rationalist ski resort, calls.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Reski. Maybe that was the I could I could see that.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I could see that only if it's ran vice super
- 29:00Speaker 1: intelligent dogs the only.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Way Okay, I'm good, speaking of which call us please, okay,
- 29:07Speaker 2: So on, this is just gonna go down south fast, badly.
- 29:14Speaker 1: So.
- 29:14Speaker 2: On February third, twenty twenty two, Jamie tried to buy
- 29:18Speaker 2: a Smith and Wesson handgun as one does, but it
- 29:23Speaker 2: was unable to because of their California license. So they
- 29:26Speaker 2: came back to the Green Mountain Sporting Goods store in Irisburg,
- 29:30Speaker 2: Vermont with a new valid ID and they were able
- 29:34Speaker 2: to purchase the gun. This gun purchase is significant for
- 29:38Speaker 2: two different reasons. The second one we're gonna get into later.
- 29:42Speaker 2: And I promise you there are two reasons about the gun,
- 29:44Speaker 2: not like the whole boat. Two ways did he actually
- 29:48Speaker 2: make sense?
- 29:48Speaker 1: He's like two things you didn't know about what.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Because Tara and Sarah had everything to do with it.
- 29:53Speaker 2: So so listen. So so, six days after purchasing the gun,
- 30:00Speaker 2: Jamie makes a post on their own blog, Plum of Discode,
- 30:06Speaker 2: well I am pecha X titled uh quote, I became
- 30:11Speaker 2: a full time Internet pest and may not survive it.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Or I told Zizz and now she wants to murder
- 30:16Speaker 2: me a story?
- 30:21Speaker 1: Really, you know what?
- 30:23Speaker 2: We probably should have, but guess what, it doesn't really
- 30:25Speaker 2: work well in the whole algorithm having a title that long.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Of God, Okay, all right, so we're gonna read this
- 30:35Speaker 2: post word for word. No, don't worry, it's not too
- 30:38Speaker 2: terribly long and it is much more coherent than anything
- 30:42Speaker 2: has written. But at this point Zizz has set that
- 30:45Speaker 2: bar about as low as a limbo stick at a
- 30:47Speaker 2: chiropractice convention. So I think we're gonna be good. We're
- 30:50Speaker 2: gonna be set. I really don't know what that means.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I just thought it was funny. Okay, Well, I'm gonna
- 30:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna get a drink because a knee.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Embrace yourselves, everyone, it's gonna get wild.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Read all right. Over the past two years, I've been
- 31:09Speaker 2: writing comments on Zizz's blog under various aliases, with the
- 31:13Speaker 2: primary intent of figuring out if she was the kind
- 31:16Speaker 2: of human she claimed to be, and a secondary intent
- 31:19Speaker 2: of sabotaging what I believed was Emma's hold over her.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Some of these messages were designed to evoke strong emotional
- 31:28Speaker 2: responses rage primarily to assess. Messages were sorry to assess
- 31:35Speaker 2: her stability, her stability and alignment. Since people act predictable
- 31:39Speaker 2: predictably when enraged, I adopted a variety of different personas
- 31:45Speaker 2: examples one, two, and three uh, many of whom claim
- 31:51Speaker 2: to have beliefs I've never held or endorsed, for the
- 31:55Speaker 2: sake of determining how Ziz would react to those characters
- 31:59Speaker 2: now for completionist's sake, another set of posts was sent
- 32:04Speaker 2: during what I think would describe what I think most
- 32:08Speaker 2: would describe as a psychological break. I used the kind
- 32:11Speaker 2: of information I gathered to develop a profile on her.
- 32:15Speaker 2: This approach was wrong of me, and I'm sorry. I
- 32:20Speaker 2: usually don't take these things to such extremes, and in retrospect,
- 32:25Speaker 2: the entire approach was very bad brains.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Bad brains, bad brands.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Though bad brains different.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Through a different channel, Ziz and I began speaking using
- 32:41Speaker 1: my real life identity, and eventually it became apparent to
- 32:45Speaker 1: me that some of my synonymous messages had seriously fricked
- 32:49Speaker 1: her out. I was perplexed and alarmed. If I had
- 32:53Speaker 1: known Ziz was going to freak out, I wouldn't have
- 32:55Speaker 1: made them. I didn't expect her to have taken any
- 32:58Speaker 1: of these messages serious sleep.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Have you met this?
- 33:04Speaker 1: She literally takes everything too seriously, like.
- 33:11Speaker 2: What like this is like a living and breathing web MD,
- 33:17Speaker 2: like it doesn't matter what you're gonna bring to her,
- 33:19Speaker 2: You're you're probably gonna die and and and if she's wrong,
- 33:23Speaker 2: chances are she's gonna make it happen. So she isn't wrong,
- 33:26Speaker 2: So just miss wemmd over here.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Goodness, that's just that line gets.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Me, Like, what which way did he go? George?
- 33:39Speaker 1: After that, I spent a few months debating with myself
- 33:42Speaker 1: whether it was correct to tell her it had been me.
- 33:46Speaker 1: On one hand, if you want me to be if
- 33:48Speaker 1: you want to be genuine friends with someone, and I
- 33:50Speaker 1: was starting to think that I did want that, then
- 33:53Speaker 1: I need to fess up, like cleanses all. On the
- 33:56Speaker 1: other hand, what if she freaked out even more and
- 33:59Speaker 1: wasted her time coming after me? Since I'm writing this,
- 34:03Speaker 1: you can guess what I chose to do and what
- 34:05Speaker 1: she chose to do in response.
- 34:08Speaker 2: When it comes to Ziz, it's probably better if you don't.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I have a feeling like she had. They had no
- 34:17Speaker 1: idea what they were dealing with here. Okay, no, So
- 34:23Speaker 1: how do you guys think Ziz reacted? Well, of course,
- 34:26Speaker 1: of course she did. No. Zis came to the conclusion
- 34:30Speaker 1: that my motive for sending her those messages had something
- 34:33Speaker 1: to do with Alice. She's not entirely wrong. For a
- 34:38Speaker 1: long while, I've been angry with Sizz and her friends
- 34:40Speaker 1: for insisting that Alice is entirely evil, and I still
- 34:44Speaker 1: claim that Emma Andsomny have exaggerated Alice's actions to gain
- 34:49Speaker 1: brownie points with Ziz. Probably Sis has got this whole
- 34:53Speaker 1: sith thing going on where she thinks Alice was her mentor.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And guess what is due to their mentors. Terry's not
- 35:01Speaker 1: here to explain this to us, but they kill each other.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Learned so much about all the spoilers of Star Wars,
- 35:16Speaker 1: some of the over exaggerating something never never with that
- 35:20Speaker 1: I haven't. Then again, you know, if if Jamie was
- 35:24Speaker 1: in an abusive relationship of some kind with Alice, that's
- 35:27Speaker 1: not an unusual thing to say. Also, the title capin
- 35:34Speaker 1: gave the slide is something Terry can explain. Shirley, and
- 35:38Speaker 1: I just want to say I love her so much
- 35:40Speaker 1: for putting that. Even though Terry is your Palpatine today,
- 35:46Speaker 1: she did a lot of Star Wars stuff. I think
- 35:48Speaker 1: with Terry in Mines.
- 35:50Speaker 2: You love, Captain, I love. We're gonna have to fight
- 35:52Speaker 2: for then, and I'm gonna use the mind bullets that
- 35:54Speaker 2: I learned about when I was studying far So.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Do you think you have more man of power than me?
- 35:59Speaker 2: Sert? I know I don't, but I'm going to pretend
- 36:03Speaker 2: that I do, and maybe that'll be enough. I don't know.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Maybe, all right, so let's let's read on. What more
- 36:11Speaker 1: does Ziz want? So my messages were influenced by my
- 36:16Speaker 1: own anger. She's also upset that I shared with Alice
- 36:20Speaker 1: a little of what Zizz and I had discussed over
- 36:23Speaker 1: the almost year long period where Ziz and I were communicating.
- 36:27Speaker 1: I hold that there is nothing I said that Alice
- 36:30Speaker 1: hadn't already guessed from reading Zizz's blog, given that her
- 36:34Speaker 1: skills at perception are similar, though focused on different percepts
- 36:39Speaker 1: that means, and that the leak of information by me
- 36:43Speaker 1: in particular is insignificant. Ziz disagrees, of course she does,
- 36:48Speaker 1: and now sees Alice as a threat to her safety
- 36:51Speaker 1: based on what Alice could say to people.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yes, okay, all right, when.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Are you talking about me? Oh my gosh, she's almost
- 37:02Speaker 1: asbout as Lori Gabel.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Why are you so obsessed with me? Oh my god?
- 37:08Speaker 2: So during our last we're gonna con continue on. During
- 37:12Speaker 2: our last phone call, Ziz informed me that the only
- 37:15Speaker 2: way I could gain her trust and make up for
- 37:18Speaker 2: what I did to her was to murder Alice preferably
- 37:22Speaker 2: sometime soon. Ziz helpfully suggested that I use a gun
- 37:26Speaker 2: with a potato as a makeshift suppressor, and that I
- 37:29Speaker 2: might destroy the body with lie and then told me
- 37:34Speaker 2: that that after I should video call Ziz and show
- 37:37Speaker 2: her the body before I destroy it so she could
- 37:39Speaker 2: get proof positive that I'd really done it, and if
- 37:42Speaker 2: I didn't do it, Ziz planned to drive across across
- 37:45Speaker 2: the entire continental United States to murder me.
- 37:52Speaker 1: What what? Okay, just a few things to know. Okay,
- 37:59Speaker 1: the getting rid of a body kind of makes what
- 38:04Speaker 1: was said to be found in their box trucks nine
- 38:06Speaker 1: months later after this, nine months later, when Curtis Lying
- 38:09Speaker 1: gets attacked, seems a little bit more possible that there
- 38:12Speaker 1: might have been some pre planning going on. And the
- 38:15Speaker 1: last part about this is threatening the drive to Vermont.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Maybe JD. Pressman wasn't as paranoid as his ex wanted
- 38:21Speaker 1: everyone to believe, because yeah, there was a hell of
- 38:23Speaker 1: a lot closer to San Francisco than Vermont. And you know,
- 38:27Speaker 1: of course this means that we had to think that
- 38:29Speaker 1: Jamie is a reliable narrator, and this instance, I do
- 38:33Speaker 1: find her to be them find them to be a
- 38:35Speaker 1: reliable narrator.
- 38:39Speaker 2: If the person JD was worrying about was like a
- 38:42Speaker 2: normal person with normal life, I'd say, there's no way
- 38:45Speaker 2: they're going to drive that far. There's no way that's
- 38:47Speaker 2: going to happen. He's kind of they're over exaggerating, But
- 38:50Speaker 2: but but these people have way too much time on
- 38:53Speaker 2: their hands. Wait, and they very well could do all
- 38:55Speaker 2: of these things. Now, this is also exactly what I
- 39:00Speaker 2: meant when I said in the last episode that there
- 39:02Speaker 2: was no way it was the first time regarding.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Oh my god, Captain, Oh Jesus, are you okay?
- 39:19Speaker 1: Yeah? Is everything Okayanna to like knock a microphone off
- 39:25Speaker 1: your man of power is strong, Sir.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I didn't want to say, you know, but my brain
- 39:30Speaker 2: was over. It was. I just like we had an arc.
- 39:33Speaker 2: We arked. Goodness, it doesn't matter, listen, Curtis Curtis, Captain
- 39:37Speaker 2: Kurk Curtis, there was no way. That was the first time.
- 39:41Speaker 2: If it was true about the lie, now I'm with you,
- 39:43Speaker 2: it seems pretty effing true at this point. Now, can
- 39:46Speaker 2: I just say, if somebody asked you to murder someone,
- 39:48Speaker 2: you should probably like again, just not And I think
- 39:52Speaker 2: that's the theme of this episode. Just don't don't series, really,
- 40:00Speaker 2: just just don't this. This is this is the most
- 40:04Speaker 2: fed up atops fable I've ever been a part of.
- 40:06Speaker 2: All Right, continuing on, so uh continuing, Jamie says, I
- 40:14Speaker 2: stupidly asked her if she meant murdering Alice metaphorically, because
- 40:18Speaker 2: I had a hard time believing what I was hearing you,
- 40:25Speaker 2: all right, chief, And she said that it'd be hard
- 40:28Speaker 2: to provide proof of that, assuming this is serious and
- 40:31Speaker 2: not some truly stellar revenge trolling. I find the idea
- 40:34Speaker 2: that I should act out at one of the subplots,
- 40:38Speaker 2: to quote, a force on awakens and is best to
- 40:41Speaker 2: be entirely unacceptable. And we're back. Well, I mean, I
- 40:50Speaker 2: thought we might have Terry explain this one as well,
- 40:52Speaker 2: because listen, the only force awakening here is probably their
- 40:55Speaker 2: bathrooms after whatever their diet was. Okay, continuing on. Aside
- 41:01Speaker 2: from all the typical reasons why someone wouldn't want to
- 41:04Speaker 2: murder their own friend, this test fails to distinguish between
- 41:08Speaker 2: the worlds where I kill my abuser versus the world
- 41:12Speaker 2: where I'm a complete psychopath who would murder Alice if
- 41:16Speaker 2: it meant getting closer to Ziz. Moreover, invoking the structure
- 41:21Speaker 2: quote if you don't kill Alice, I will kill you,
- 41:24Speaker 2: creates a situation that fails to distinguish between the worlds
- 41:27Speaker 2: where I would want Alice deed independently of Ziz, and
- 41:31Speaker 2: the other where I'd only kill Alice out of fear
- 41:34Speaker 2: of Ziz. If I were someone, if I were to
- 41:37Speaker 2: kill someone out of fear of another, I would be
- 41:40Speaker 2: I would be just as bad as a person who
- 41:42Speaker 2: murdered someone because a Nazi put a gun to their head.
- 41:46Speaker 2: And I find it implausible that Ziz would be able
- 41:49Speaker 2: to distinguish between these three motives. Were I the sort
- 41:53Speaker 2: of person to murder Alice given Zizz's inability to scry
- 41:57Speaker 2: me accurately so bought.
- 42:04Speaker 1: In other words, a test like this could not have
- 42:07Speaker 1: the affect Ziz claimed it to have, and demonstrates to
- 42:10Speaker 1: me that Sis is losing her marbles if she's serious
- 42:13Speaker 1: and not revenge trilling me. Oh honey, Sis lost her marbles.
- 42:18Speaker 5: Years ago, Like I don't know how you read her
- 42:22Speaker 5: entire blog and been like, you know what, that sounds
- 42:24Speaker 5: sane to me, but here we are, You're like, this
- 42:27Speaker 5: is crazy.
- 42:29Speaker 2: What it reminds me of the old fella in hook.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I've lost my marbles. This is on the ground looking
- 42:39Speaker 2: for things. My marbles. Where are my marbles? Right?
- 42:44Speaker 1: So Jamie goes on to say, and murdering someone because
- 42:47Speaker 1: they have information that anyone with any sense can deduce
- 42:52Speaker 1: from reading Ziz's blog is an unjust reason for that decision.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I suspect Ziz wants to feel more in control of
- 42:59Speaker 1: this situation, most probably because she can't trust me and
- 43:03Speaker 1: I engage in a relationship with her where I had
- 43:06Speaker 1: far more information about what was going on than she did. However,
- 43:10Speaker 1: if there's something I can do to make her less afraid,
- 43:13Speaker 1: it's not this. And while I don't want her to
- 43:16Speaker 1: remain in a state of fear or anticipation of what
- 43:19Speaker 1: I or my friends will do, I refuse to die
- 43:22Speaker 1: or murder anyone to make her feel better.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Well, then you're ft. It's one or the other, and
- 43:33Speaker 2: it ain't a great option. Man. It's like an election,
- 43:37Speaker 2: all right. I am not the kind of useless paranoid
- 43:40Speaker 2: who jumps at bins like JD. Moor An unstable. It's
- 43:50Speaker 2: so cute, it's so cute. I'm not the kind of
- 43:55Speaker 2: useless paranoid who jumps at bins like JD or an
- 43:59Speaker 2: unstable rack, who would drive themselves insane without anyone uttering
- 44:03Speaker 2: a single word.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Right, No, No, you're just someone who, after all this
- 44:09Speaker 1: decides to go all Landon's is and your parents end
- 44:12Speaker 1: up dead and now you're sitting here ass in jail.
- 44:14Speaker 1: But sure sound off on how logical you are compared
- 44:19Speaker 1: to jad Go right ahead to Jamie, Okay.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Okay, allegedly allegedly allegedly, Well yeah, are we making that
- 44:29Speaker 2: a thing? Going fools is? Like you never go fools is?
- 44:32Speaker 2: Can we make that thing?
- 44:34Speaker 1: Now? That's the moral of the story story, you never
- 44:38Speaker 1: go fools.
- 44:41Speaker 2: It's it's at least the T shirt. It's at least
- 44:43Speaker 2: the T shirt. Okay, Anyways, Jamie continues, I know it's
- 44:52Speaker 2: super cute face. So Jamie goes, uh So, while I
- 44:58Speaker 2: have the tenacity, skill, and willingness to evade Zizz and
- 45:01Speaker 2: her friends indefinitely, it's a waste of resources. We're currently
- 45:06Speaker 2: facing the collapse of civilization, alluming civil war, unfriendly AI,
- 45:10Speaker 2: and a fuck ton of other threats, and instead of
- 45:13Speaker 2: focusing on those, we are waiting resources, respectively, hunting and
- 45:17Speaker 2: evading each other. The choice to focus on me, to
- 45:21Speaker 2: imagine me as her arch nemesis or whatever worth dropping
- 45:25Speaker 2: everything for to murder strikes me as a complete betrayal
- 45:30Speaker 2: of everything Ziz cares about, No kidding, tantamount to believing
- 45:33Speaker 2: that the right thing to do is to attack the
- 45:36Speaker 2: nearest wrong. You see, when your best chance of winning
- 45:39Speaker 2: is to attack wrongs upstream of that rock?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Yeah again, have you fucking met Ziz? This is literally
- 45:49Speaker 1: her to a tailer. Yeah, I'm also that road sign.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys can read it. In
- 45:56Speaker 1: the fourth picture, is this angry raccoon's head?
- 46:01Speaker 2: They look so angry, like why would that stay?
- 46:04Speaker 1: That honest sign? But like that, of course this is this.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Everyone's a freaking arch nemesis to her.
- 46:12Speaker 2: My god, this is what kills me? How many? How
- 46:14Speaker 2: many times have we heard this whole thread of They've
- 46:18Speaker 2: figured out what's wrong with this, They pointed it out,
- 46:20Speaker 2: they verbalized it, they put it in a blog and
- 46:22Speaker 2: posted it, and yet still fucking still Yeah, I wish
- 46:29Speaker 2: I had that charisma score.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Oh crap, does that keep saying like, uh, what it was? Maya?
- 46:35Speaker 1: I think that said she felt Gwen was controlling over
- 46:39Speaker 1: Ziz and Maya wanted to help Zas break away from Gwen,
- 46:42Speaker 1: and then you have Jamie being like, oh well, I
- 46:44Speaker 1: feel like Emma is controlling Ziz. What Like, clearly she
- 46:50Speaker 1: is able to spin some wild tails.
- 46:56Speaker 2: It's crazy to tales works too, tails tells us great.
- 47:01Speaker 2: All right, Jamie keeps going, and while I no longer
- 47:04Speaker 2: have any interest in working with her, we are still
- 47:07Speaker 2: on the same side of the three part war. If
- 47:09Speaker 2: Ziz wants to spite me, she can write a scathing
- 47:12Speaker 2: call out post, refuse to speak to me ever again,
- 47:14Speaker 2: or even set up a bot to spam my phone
- 47:17Speaker 2: with poop emojis. It suck for me, but I deserve it.
- 47:21Speaker 2: A last suggestion is facetious, So just in case he wondered,
- 47:26Speaker 2: she was just kidding about the last thing. Uh, though,
- 47:32Speaker 2: if I felt that Ziz could be appealed to with reason,
- 47:36Speaker 2: I'd simply try reasoning with her. Ziz has indicated to
- 47:39Speaker 2: me that anything less than murdering Alice will be seen
- 47:42Speaker 2: as me attempting to pay less than Ziz believes the
- 47:46Speaker 2: situation warrants, So instead, I'm writing this. So if Alice
- 47:52Speaker 2: and I die or vanishing, everyone knows who is responsible
- 47:57Speaker 2: and to let this know that I have friends who
- 48:00Speaker 2: will avenge me. Murdering Alice or me is now tantamount
- 48:03Speaker 2: to committing suicide by proxy. I don't want Zizz to die,
- 48:08Speaker 2: her friends to die, or for Alice and I to die.
- 48:11Speaker 2: I'm aiming for the world worlds where we all live.
- 48:17Speaker 2: So I don't want Ziz to kill me and thus
- 48:19Speaker 2: kill herself. I don't, I I so so, so let
- 48:29Speaker 2: me just understand this. This was published publicly, and at
- 48:33Speaker 2: no point did anybody say, you know, maybe we should
- 48:36Speaker 2: look into this. There's a lot outright, you have to
- 48:41Speaker 2: murder somebody talk. I feel like somebody should.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Look into it, like a lot. But it gets it
- 48:47Speaker 1: gets better, all right, because Jamie is making all sorts
- 48:51Speaker 1: of like mental gymnastics going on here. But she says,
- 48:56Speaker 1: they say, I have no intent on interfering with this
- 48:59Speaker 1: as work, except for the part where she's decided to
- 49:02Speaker 1: murder myself and Alice. Because I don't feel that murdering
- 49:06Speaker 1: Alice or myself is justice, she is free to retreat
- 49:09Speaker 1: behind it was just a revenge trolling. Maybe I mishurt her,
- 49:14Speaker 1: and she meant I should kill Alice in Minecraft. So
- 49:17Speaker 1: long as Alice and I are alive. That's a plausible explanation.
- 49:23Speaker 2: I mean, sure, but but when when a vibe is
- 49:27Speaker 2: less video game and more FBI watch list, nuance tends
- 49:30Speaker 2: to get lost. And I don't think that's what she means.
- 49:34Speaker 1: I don't think that's what she means. And she also
- 49:36Speaker 1: asks this if it was she was talking metaphorically, and
- 49:39Speaker 1: this was like, nope, I am not. And yet she's
- 49:44Speaker 1: they're somehow convincing themselves here that like, oh no, they couldn't.
- 49:49Speaker 1: She couldn't possibly have won of me in Alice Dead,
- 49:51Speaker 1: Like she's the most serious person I have ever heard of.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Have you seen her collection of samurai swords?
- 50:00Speaker 1: Is there is there lie in Minecraft? Sure, there's not
- 50:07Speaker 1: that I know of. I haven't played it quite a
- 50:09Speaker 1: few years.
- 50:09Speaker 2: But like, oh, anyway, wise, this didn't mean Minecraft, because
- 50:17Speaker 2: there is no lie in Minecraft.
- 50:20Speaker 1: I mean they also don't have lightsabers in Minecraft. So
- 50:23Speaker 1: I can't believe this. So Jamie goes on to say,
- 50:27Speaker 1: so to all who would read this, I am not suicidal, Alison.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I would not and never will do some kind of
- 50:35Speaker 1: murder suicide pack. We're not going to disappear. If you
- 50:38Speaker 1: can't video call us then something's wrong. This counts for today, tomorrow,
- 50:43Speaker 1: six months from now, and three years from now. Ziz,
- 50:46Speaker 1: like myself, does not forgive or forget, not even after
- 50:53Speaker 1: years have passed.
- 50:54Speaker 2: We know.
- 50:57Speaker 1: This post will be scheduled to repost itself occasionally, just
- 51:01Speaker 1: so no one forgets.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Jesus uh. If you've read this and now somehow believe
- 51:08Speaker 2: that my conflict with Ziz will serve as an excuse
- 51:11Speaker 2: to portray her secrets, even for promises of safety, you
- 51:15Speaker 2: are mistaken here that I'll post your attempts to extract
- 51:19Speaker 2: information onto this blog to embarrass you and reveal you
- 51:22Speaker 2: for the ghules you are now But where my guls?
- 51:30Speaker 2: And what? Yeah? That's Captain's Halloween costume last year? So
- 51:37Speaker 2: like id so, So she goes a whole away saying
- 51:41Speaker 2: this post. If you don't hear from us, we're probably dead.
- 51:44Speaker 2: It's this's fault thought about blah blah. But if you.
- 51:46Speaker 6: Bribe me with protection to have me say something about them,
- 51:52Speaker 6: I'm gonna out you, because now you're going against Ziz,
- 51:56Speaker 6: who's trying to murder me, who's trying to I've gone.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Across it's so, it's it's crazy. I mean, I very
- 52:07Speaker 1: much believe that this all really happened. Well, not not
- 52:12Speaker 1: just because Jamie says it, but then when you compare
- 52:14Speaker 1: it to other things that we've heard, it checks out
- 52:17Speaker 1: other people that Jamie didn't really have. She was not
- 52:20Speaker 1: or they were not in connection with JD. Obviously they
- 52:23Speaker 1: find Jad's story bullshit. You know, it's just who has
- 52:30Speaker 1: that conversation with somebody like I'm sorry and then I'm
- 52:36Speaker 1: gonna need you to kill somebody from me?
- 52:39Speaker 2: You know what they say? You know what zizz backwards is.
- 52:45Speaker 1: What?
- 52:48Speaker 2: All right? So what happened? He was Monday after all
- 52:51Speaker 2: of this, Uh, we're not sure. And there is a
- 52:54Speaker 2: profile or matching her email address that wrote about her
- 52:59Speaker 2: experience living in Chile on a workaway trip where she
- 53:04Speaker 2: was apparently helping gold homes in San Jose to you
- 53:08Speaker 2: know what. That name goes on far too long, San
- 53:11Speaker 2: Jose de Mayepo. But other than I took German not no.
- 53:16Speaker 2: But other than that, there's nothing anywhere that we could
- 53:19Speaker 2: really find. Now, maybe that's her, Hey, maybe it's not.
- 53:26Speaker 1: I mean, to not have any digital footprint since twenty
- 53:29Speaker 1: twenty two, not great kind of you know, I mean,
- 53:34Speaker 1: don't get me wrong that us is underground. I don't
- 53:36Speaker 1: blame her for being underground one freaking bit. Okay, I
- 53:40Speaker 1: too probably would have been like, yeah, I'm going to
- 53:42Speaker 1: fuck off the chili.
- 53:43Speaker 2: You know, I was reading this review and listen for
- 53:50Speaker 2: a workaway, getting four out of five stars, but the
- 53:53Speaker 2: reasoning is hysterical. The last sentence work was from nine
- 53:57Speaker 2: to two pm, but most days he did not have
- 53:59Speaker 2: a full five hours of work for us to do.
- 54:02Speaker 2: So four out of five stars. What kind of recommends?
- 54:04Speaker 2: Just not enough. We had a lovely time digging fence posts,
- 54:15Speaker 2: says That.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Sounds like a lovely time. But when you're being hunted
- 54:20Speaker 1: by Ziz, I sure, I'm assuming that is a lovely one.
- 54:26Speaker 2: So were punge sticks under the fingernails?
- 54:28Speaker 1: So there's that. Well, you know what, that was a
- 54:31Speaker 1: fun free But how about let's get back to the
- 54:33Speaker 1: zaj Koh's murder? Okay. So, On January fifth, twenty twenty three,
- 54:40Speaker 1: just a few days after the couple's bodies were found,
- 54:43Speaker 1: Pennsylvania State Police drove all the way to Jamie's house
- 54:46Speaker 1: and Orleans, Vermont to talk to them. Jamie now has
- 54:50Speaker 1: a new roommate, Daniel Blank. The investigators asked Jamie where
- 54:55Speaker 1: they were on the night of December thirty first, twenty
- 54:57Speaker 1: twenty two, and Jamie tells them that they were at
- 55:00Speaker 1: home with Daniel Blank from December twenty ninth through January first, Camenia.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Jamie also said that she had not been to Pennsylvania
- 55:10Speaker 1: since the onset of COVID and had not spoken to
- 55:13Speaker 1: Richard Rita since January of twenty twenty two. Jamie also
- 55:18Speaker 1: did not acknowledge receiving that signal message on the day
- 55:22Speaker 1: of the murder from Rita about savings bonds until after
- 55:26Speaker 1: one of the investigators asked Jamie about it.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Seems like a ton of deception.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Don't be suspicious, be suspicious.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Don't be don't be suspicious.
- 55:41Speaker 1: But what is most interesting about this interaction is that
- 55:45Speaker 1: Jamie let one of the investigators handle a gun they owned.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Remember they want the one they bought months ago in
- 55:55Speaker 1: your entire interior theme that's plowed. It's a truck, so right,
- 56:05Speaker 1: So that gun was a Smith and Weston pistol that
- 56:08Speaker 1: fired nine millimeter rounds. When Jimmie bought that gun, they
- 56:14Speaker 1: also purchased bullets from the same store that were of
- 56:17Speaker 1: the same manufacturer and type as that of the spent
- 56:21Speaker 1: casings that were recovered next to the Sajko's bodies. When
- 56:25Speaker 1: handling the firearm, one of the officers noted that it
- 56:29Speaker 1: was found to be free of dust, dirt, or debris,
- 56:32Speaker 1: appearing well kept and recently cleaned and or serviced.
- 56:41Speaker 2: I'm feeling that this is a little less allegedly and
- 56:43Speaker 2: a little more guilty as fuck, looking.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Great now the police. Now, the police would come to
- 56:52Speaker 1: believe that Jamie's handgun could have been the one used
- 56:55Speaker 1: in the murders, but they did not have a warrant
- 56:58Speaker 1: during this initial interview and therefore could not seize the gun.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Jamie told the troopers that they were uncertain when they
- 57:05Speaker 1: would be going back to Pennsylvania in order to make
- 57:08Speaker 1: the funeral arrangements for their parents.
- 57:10Speaker 2: Now, now I would ask or presume that they would
- 57:15Speaker 2: know there was some kind of time living on needing
- 57:17Speaker 2: to make those arrangements. But assuming in this case as well,
- 57:23Speaker 2: I'm just making myself an ass So just shouldn't do that.
- 57:27Speaker 2: Don't assume anymore, all right? So On January ninth, twenty
- 57:31Speaker 2: twenty three, the police received a call from the local
- 57:35Speaker 2: medical examiner informing them that Jamie had arrived unexpectedly trying
- 57:41Speaker 2: to get death certificates for their parents. With Jamie in
- 57:45Speaker 2: the area, the investigators quickly tried to secure search warrants,
- 57:49Speaker 2: not only to seize Jamie's gun, but also their DNA. Now,
- 57:54Speaker 2: even though Jamie had been in town, she couldn't be
- 57:57Speaker 2: bothered to attend their own parents and memorial mask However,
- 58:02Speaker 2: Jamie did arrive alone to the small graveside ceremony for
- 58:06Speaker 2: their parents on January twelfth, and Roseanne said that Jamie
- 58:10Speaker 2: was wearing a mask because she had been sick and
- 58:14Speaker 2: didn't want to spread any germs. She also recalled Jamie behaving,
- 58:22Speaker 2: I seriously thought you had something to say, and then
- 58:24Speaker 2: I was like, what did you say? JT that makes sense.
- 58:29Speaker 2: She also recalled Jamie behaving somewhat paranoid, pointing to some
- 58:33Speaker 2: men Richard's colleagues and asking her who they were. That
- 58:39Speaker 2: same night, around nine pm, as you know, things get
- 58:44Speaker 2: crazy in Pennsylvania, the same troopers showed up to execute
- 58:47Speaker 2: a search warrant. Just homish people putting light bulbs on
- 58:52Speaker 2: their birthday cake show up to execute a search warrant
- 58:57Speaker 2: at the Candlewood Sweets Hotel. Jamie was saying it. Near
- 59:01Speaker 2: the Philadelphia Airport, they were able to detain Jamie, and
- 59:04Speaker 2: while bringing them through the hotel lobby, Jamie shouted at
- 59:07Speaker 2: the hotel staff, let Daniel Blank know that, yeah, that
- 59:11Speaker 2: they had been arrested and that Daniel was staying in
- 59:14Speaker 2: room one one one. Still better than Slomni being arrested.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Points well, points for them.
- 59:25Speaker 1: That's true, and Jamie does take the ball and just
- 59:28Speaker 1: being fucking cooperative for once. Okay, so we've mentioned Daniel
- 59:34Speaker 1: several times already, including in the very first episode, So
- 59:37Speaker 1: let's answer the question. Who is Daniel Blank? Okay? So,
- 59:42Speaker 1: Daniel Arthur Blank is twenty six years old and was
- 59:45Speaker 1: born in Berkeley, California. Like most of this bunch, he
- 59:48Speaker 1: excelled in school, competing at his high school science bowll
- 59:52Speaker 1: team and becoming fluent in three languages before graduation. That's amazing.
- 59:57Speaker 1: He attended the University of My password is the last
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: high nerd, You too, have a little nerd. I don't
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: know if the door was the right word, but probably not. Yikes. Sorry,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: So he attended University of California, Berkeley, double majoring in
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: bioengineering and computer science. After graduating, In twenty twenty, Blank
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: secured a well paying job as a software engineer in Oakland.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: A few years later, Blank told his parents he was
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: moving to Columbus, Ohio my neck lives to work for
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: a startup. I don't know what kind of startup would
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: be here, but okay, and that he couldn't tell them
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: the name of the company due to a confidentiality agreement. Okay, Well, it's.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Very Chandler Holderson of him, very Chandler holders of him.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: That's a fair I mean, we do have a lot
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: of like big things here.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: Put a little guy, said I thought the pie simple,
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: said JT.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: The last. Well, you will never find those out.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Oh so Blank stopped responding to emails and phone calls
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, and his Ohio landlord informed his mother
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: that he had disappeared and just left everything behind.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Classic claffic Ohio. Oh sorry, northern Kentucky.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: His parents filed a missing person's report, and his phone
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was tracked of Vermont. All right, so young Blood's parents
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: reported them missing as well. So Daniel is now our
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: second confirmed like people thought he was missing. I know
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: for a fact that they believed he was missing so
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: much that he was on names. That's his name is
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: account right there. The police conducted a welfare check, finding
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: him in a remote cabin in Vermont, you know now
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: living with Jamie. They informed his parents that he was unharmed,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: but didn't want to speak to them. So I know
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: that the last texts that they received from Daniel was
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: a link to like an animal farm video like animals
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: in a farm, not like the book. Oh, and then
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it just said look at what you've done. And that
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: was the last time they heard from him. So his
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: mother has stated that she believes his mild autism and
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: your blindness in one eye made him socially awkward and
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: very vulnerable. He was probably very easy to manipulate, to brainwash.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: His father believes Blank is under the influence of a cult.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Can we have just a seance for how little or
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: how lowked His parents seemingly think of his ability like
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: it's like he like, I don't know, with that kind
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: of T shirt. I feel like he's got some brains
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: behind him. He's also been pretty successful occupationally. I think
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: he might have a head on his shoulders.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: But in your blindness, I imagine he's not the one
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: shooting the gun.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: But that's well, I don't know, because then you just
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: have one to look Well, I don't know, Okay, I
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: don't know. I have no idea. Well listen, according to
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: noted ZIZ expert, Ken the Cowboy, Blank once delivered court
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: documents for Somni aka Alexander Latham. Now listen, can can
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: I simply Can I not simply glide past Ken the Cowboys? Like,
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: is that guy like a van helsing for rationalist cult leaders?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: No, Ken the Cowboy and this other person Ala like
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: they had put together a huge timeline Google drive on
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: all these people. Uh, that's where we've kind of first
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: got a lot of our information from until we started
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: finding like more well, they seemed to know the people
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: in the community more so, like a little bit of
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: the deeper knowledge of who these people were. They actually
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: like did enter.
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: I don't know how much Ken did, but Ken was
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: able to get a hold of people that did know
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: these people, including get is ex girlfriend Octavia.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Don't even get me started on her. But anyway, I digress. Anyway,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that's who the Cowboys. I don't have a problem with
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Ken the Cowboy, Okay, he seems like a really cool dude.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Go back to the fact that Candlewood Suites in Pennsylvania. Well,
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: thanks to Jamie yelling at the hotel stat that Blank
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: was there, one of the troopers recognized Blank's name from
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: the Vermont trip.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Some of the officers went to his room, knocked on
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: his door, which was rented under the name Daniel Black,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: which I think he might have just misspelled his last name,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: but that's okay. Daniel refused to open it and ask
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: for He might have just had shitty handwriting, ask for
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: a lawyer. After watching the hotel security cameras from the
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: previous night and seeing Jamie carry a bag down to
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Room one one one knock, leave the bag outside the door,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: police were able to obtain a search warrant for Daniel's room.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: The troopers, along with a vice unit, arrived at twelve
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: thirty three am, but this time no one answered the door,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: so they busted it. They heard the shower running and
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: found Daniel hiding in the bathroom along with a blonde
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: haired figure dressed in black. Dun, dun. Yes, it's true,
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: this is true, and I'm concerned about it. JD and
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: JT sound very similar when you're sassy and I don't
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: like it.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that palpitated and the bathroom of his
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: everything everything to me, everything. So police come into the
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: hotel room, right, Daniel thrown down to the ground and handcuffed,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: but was cooperative police when being escorted out of the room.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: So that's nice.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: However, here you go.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: The six foot two, two hundred pounds blonde haired figure
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: was sprawled on the bathroom floor with their eyes closed.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: One of the troopers said, quote, he was just laying there,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: almost unconscious, as if he was dead on the ground
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: end quote. It took four officers to carry them out
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: of the room. A trooper then placed that person's finger
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: onto a mobile fingerprint scanner and what do you know,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: the hit came back. This person had an open war
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: in California under the name Jack Lisoda aka.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: This sleeping beauty god mother.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Ah, how fucking ridiculous as she oh god, I hear
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: pho oh she's ours. Zia's was placed under arrest and
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: charged with this orderly conduct and interfering with a police investigation.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: With zizz arrested and Jamie and Daniel being questioned at
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: the station, the police conducted their search.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Arrested in a Candlewood suitees Is so not rational.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Just behaving this way is just so fuckings is anyway.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: One of the places they searched was Jamie's green twenty
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: thirteen Subaru that was parked at the hotel. It was
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: there that they found forty thousand dollars in cash tucked
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: under the front passenger seat. Police would also find a
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: banking receipt in Daniel's pocket from a Bank of America
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: in Vermont, which later on in the investigation surveillance footage
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: from the bank which showed Daniel pacing back and forth
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: while waiting for the money, and then pulling out and
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: unwrapping a cell phone covered in ten foil, much like
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: young Blood and bock Holest phones were found in the
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Border Patrol shooting in the first episode.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Can I can I say? I thought that's amazing. Second off,
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: you're right, Captain's right, not all super rus but also
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: not surprised at all that was the choice of car. Anyways, continue,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: I can.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Fucking love their Subaros and their preases so much. Anyway. Okay,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: So it was in Daniel and Sizz's room where the
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: investigators had their biggest find. They found a light colored
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: cloth bag containing a Smith and Wesson nine millimeter with
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: a serial number matching the one Jamie showed them in Vermont,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and five boxes of ammunition. Dum dumb. Unfortunately, by that point,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Jamie and Daniel had been released from custody with no charges,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: and neither one ever came back for the forty thousand
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: dollars in cash or Jamie's car, but poor Zizzy Pooh
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: remained behind in custody. You should have just cooperated. Found
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: herself in jail.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Shall always be known as Zzy Pooh from here on out.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: All right, So this is bail was said at five
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars, which is It's so, It's like it
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: is the it is the the the pinnacle of just
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: law enforcement being like fuck this, They're no, We're not
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: doing this again.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: It's insane.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: This is that Ziz sat in jail for eighteen weeks
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: before her bail was dropped to fifty thousand. This tad
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: in there until June when her bail was reduced to
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: ten thousand dollars unsecured.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: That's crazy, a guess.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: During the court hearing, Zizz's lawyer informed the courts that
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: her mother had flown in from Alaska and said that
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: she would take her home and make sure Ziz would
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: come back for all court dates. Sure, jan Sure, yeah.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: So even the prosecutor was like, uh uh, let's be real,
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: this person zero ties to the community, and is she
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: really gonna.
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: Fly from Alaska to Pennsylvania for her court date two
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: months now?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Despite the prosecutor's argument, this sign a payment plan, walked
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: out of jail Pennsylvania. You had one damn one out.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: You haven't been able to do it since. So, to
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: everyone's dismay, SiZ did appear at her August twenty first,
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: twenty twenty three hearing, but of course she showed up
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: in dramatic fashion.
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: Oh yeah, she in her typical all black attire, but
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: her blonde curls were gone and our blackness beveled, to
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: which we must assume she completed her sith Lord metamorphics.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: She didn't just why I like how I ended up
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: sounding like the praying mantis from Bugs Life sith Lord Metamorers.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: Didn't just walk into the court room, however, No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: no no no. She was wheeled in a wheelchair by
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: her mother, wearing an industrial N ninety five respirator mask.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: She sat slumped to the side and stared at the
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: floor for most of the hearing.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Oh she's such a fucking joke. She's such a fucking joke.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. Okay, So the prosecution was granted a
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: continuance and the trial was set to begin a few
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: months later in December twenty twenty three. Guess it was
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: enough show and earned themselves another bench warp. Sizzy Poo,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: that's who. Now with two active arrest warrants on her
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: bench warrants on her record, the girl cannot follow through
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: with a single damn thing like ever. Now. During Ziz
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: being in custody and being released, there are a few
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: other things happening on. So let's let's go back to
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: earlier twenty twenty two. Okay, So, on February twenty third,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: someone with the online handle Safa Shapiro wrote a Medium
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: article called a Community Alert about Zi that laid out
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: everything this group had been linked to at this point.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: They wrote quote, I don't know if any Concrete plans
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: buys this or associates to do anything else violent, but
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: it seemed like a good idea to raise a loud
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: alarm about all of this. Now people should speak up
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: or at least tell a friend if they have information
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: and should take whatever safety precautions makes sense for their
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: situation in case more violence occurs at some point in
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the future. This is the third or fourth person to
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: be like everybody, these people are fucking murderous assholes, like
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: except at this point this person is finally murders have happened,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: you know. Other people are like warning them.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Want somebody to get on TV and have a massive
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: board of their mugshots and just point with a big
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: thing like a red maybe a red laser and go duh.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: End of an outlet, right, So the medium article comes out. So,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: while Jamie was also missing in action, Aunt Roseanne did
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: receive a phone call from Jamie several months after the funeral.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Jamie said they were not responsible for the murders, but
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: they knew who was. They said, less wrong did it?
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: And Jamie was being targeted. I think those fucking dwaves
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: over on this wraw like really, okay, okay, why would
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: you become with target Jamie? But okay. The house in
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Vermont was sold and it's believed no one had stayed
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: there since the murders, as this house had not been
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: winter rized and pipes bursted. These people cannot take care
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: of anything like ruining shit everywhere they go. I'm a
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Roseanne stand too, love you Aunt Roseanne.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Seem where's this? Yeah, it seems like it. Where's Zizz
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Jamie and Daniel went during this time. We don't completely
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: one hundred percent no, but I think it's highly likely
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: that they met up with Ophelia. Excuse me, Ophelia Bacolt
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: your favorite, I think.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Right episode Well, I don't know if I deem her
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: a favorite at least probably everyone it seems, but maybe.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Yeah. We discussed how she had upended her life in
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: twenty twenty three and by July started renting that Airbnb
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and that the property owner
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: reported that another quote man was living with Baucolt, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: that the general consensus is that it was Zizz. However,
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: that is just speculation at this point, but like come on,
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: like come on, uh So all was quiet.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: In the world of Ziz until that cold went today
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: when I was in my stocking and mom and a
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: cap no on January twentieth, twenty five, when Milo aka
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Teresa Youngblood and Ophelia aka Felix Falcult would be pulled over.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: By border patrol agents in Vermont. In just a few days,
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: all of their faces would be all over the internet.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: And they're bizarre and violent tales talked about in news
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: articles and live stream shows around the world. And by
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: that I mean just ours we win.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Uh, it's not great for them.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: No. Now, listen, before we go for the night, which
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: I think we did great on time tonight by the way. Thing, Yeah,
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: so before we go for the night, let's talk about
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: the Zajko murders. Their case is currently unsolved, but it
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: is no secret that investigators believe that Jamie is in
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: some way involved with the death of their parents, and
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: that Daniel blank end Zis are possibly involved as well.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I mean, in my personal opinion is that there is
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: a prosecutor right now in Pennsylvania working with investigators to
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: bill A Kayskins now the face you know, now that
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: she is locked away. I would I'm I would bed
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: for sure. Six months, we'll hear something, for sure.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: So let's take a look at all the things that, yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: don't look great for Jamie. The murders took place on
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: the night of Jamie's thirtieth birthday, and it's been reported
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: that the bedroom the Zajkos were found in was Jamie's
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: childhood bedroom. The gun and type of bullets used are
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: the same that Jamie owned. While the police did find
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: the gun during the search Warrened, it is publicly unknown
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: if it was a match or not. It's been reported
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: that Jamie, Zizz and Blank's phones were all turned off
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: during the hours before and during the murder, which is
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: strange as Jamie's alibi was that they were with Daniel
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: at their home in Vermont, before, during, and after the murders,
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: So why turn your phones off if you're hundreds of
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: miles away years and then also the right allegedly captured
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: someone yelling mom, Jamie is an only child.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Now looking great? Now looking great? What else doesn't look great?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Oh that's right. Jamie first lied to investigators, telling them
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: that they hadn't communicated with their parents in almost a year,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: when Rita had sent messages via signal about money the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: day of the murders. Now looking great, Jamie. Then one
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: of the first things Jamie did when arriving to Pennsylvania
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: for their parents' funeral rights was to try and get
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: their parents the certificates, which isn't too bizarre in itself.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Because Jamie did live in Vermont, so you're already at
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the place, okay. But but Jamie did not show up
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: to their parents' memorial mass even though they were in town,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: and chose only to attend the Gravesite service, where Jamie's
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: behavior was reported as paranoid and strange. Then, after being
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: let go from police questioning, Jamie and Daniel both disappear
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: a betdoning Jamie's car and Daniel's forty thousand cash, not
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: seemingly at all at all interested in solving their parents' murder.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: That is all sus very suspicious to me.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Not Yeah, I think it's sus enough to where you
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: can call it straight up suspicious, like the forard, It's
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: not even just have a word. Now. When it comes
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: to a possible motive, there are two theories, though it's
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: most likely both. The first is a tale as tail
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: as oldest time, every tidy, every time. It's like it
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: was written for me.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Jamie being an only child means they most likely would
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: have a huge inheritance plus life insurance. It's been said
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: that the Zajkos were worth millions. Why Jie, yeah, could
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: have wanted to get those death certificates asap. The other
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: theory is this was some sort of revenge over alleged
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: abuses Jamie suffered at the hands of Richard and Rita
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: that could explain why the murders happened specifically on Jamie's
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: birthday and in their childhood bedroom. Jamie actually wrote about
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: these abuses on their Plumb of Discord blogs.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Everyone yep, yep, prepar yep.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: I'd never heard before and had grown up being viscerally
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: upset at my family because they kept sneaking corpses of
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: rabbits into my food, because they wanted to make sure
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: I'd be just as complicit as them. When I'd say
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: I don't want to eat that, They'd say it I
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: They'd say I ate it before and was a hypocrite.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: I was not allowed to leave the table under threat
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: of physical violence until I finished everything on my plate
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: and got more lectures than I can count on how
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: animals don't have feelings and were put on this earth
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: by God for us to eat, so you're disrespecting the Almighty,
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: That cows need to be regularly milked or their utters hurt,
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: and that my empathy for them was a sign that
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: I was going to become a dangerous, mentally ill person,
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: and that if I talked like I did, they'd end
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: up needing to lock me up, with the implication that
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: the state would help agree with them. I think that.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: I think the exact phrases they used were something like,
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: quote cart me off to the crazy font.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Right? How it dramatic?
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Sure?
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Okay? Anyway, So Jamie also wrote that they had tried
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: telling their aunt Roseanne about it all, but quote she
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: sadly didn't believe me. Some people don't want to hear
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: about the ugliness in the world because they'd feel obligated
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: to do something about it. Aunt Roseanne, though, hmm okay.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: She eventually saw these posts and was very unhappy with Jamie,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: emailing them the following quote, I take issue with one
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: of your posts where you said I knew about of
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: you but preferred to do nothing. That was a huge
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: surprise to me. I felt that you stabbed me in
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: the back with that comment. End quote. She says that
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: she had witnessed disputes between Jamie, Richard and Rita, sometimes
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: taken Jamie's side, but said that nothing she witnessed came
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: remotely close to approaching abuse. Quote did she express to
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: me any resentment or angry or anger or hate against
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: her parents, not at all end quote. And so that
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: seems like a good place to stop for tonight. What
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: do you all think? Do you think that Jamie is
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: behind the murders? Is and Daniel Blank a part of
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: this as well? Or do you think that you know
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: thisz was trying to put a hit out on Alicebeth?
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Does anybody know where Alice Monday is? Is she alive? Really?
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: All I want is confirmation she's alive.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Do you think that Ziz did the Alice Monday suggestion?
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: And Jamie said no? And Ziz eventually said, all right,
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: well then take care of your abusive parents.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: That's a fairy. I have to be quite honest with you.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: I think it is very interesting that a month and
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: a half after the Curtis lind attack, we know that
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Ziz has to go from California to the East coast
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: because she's there in January. Why Ziz would seek out
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Jamie though right after all that, I don't I don't know,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: but I could see that being, you know, and her
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: using these alleged quote unquote abuses as like a justification that, oh,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I can go through with this because they're morally irrehensible,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: which Jesus Christ like, are you kidding me? That's what
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you get out of here?
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: Get out of here. There's that, and then there's like
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: they're worth millions and somebody needs money.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: And somebody, you know, he needs money, ziz living off
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: every back? Do you think this?
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: But in any money, they wouldn't give two shits about
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: a memorial mass, but they would say, is as soon
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: as you get there, you need to go ask for
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: the death certificate.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean, I like they weren't skinned to
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: have that candle wood sweet you said how nice those
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: rooms are. No ways, this was thrown down for that,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: you know, So I definitely think that. I mean, the police,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: investigators and kind of even the FBI kind of hinted
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: that this and then are involved. So we'll see, we'll see.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: But I feel I do feel like when it comes
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: to Jamie's parents, this is behind it in some way.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I very much you feel that way. I mean, look
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: at how she talked to her about freaking outlice. Now
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: millions of dollars could be on the line. Of course
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: she's going to do it, of course, So anyway, let
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: us know what you let us know what you think
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: by leaving a comment in the video under this video here.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Love to hear what you think about tonight's episode. But
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: while you guys are doing that, let's do our cast update,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: shall we. So we have Maya Basic Fluttershy, Jay Winneford,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Emma Borhani and Curtis Lynd Richard and Rita's Ajco are
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: all dead. Saw Me and Surridal are all are still
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: incarcerated in California, along with Maximilian Bentley, Snyder, Gwyn and Alice.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Monday's whereabouts are unknown. Who knows where they freaking are
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: right now. Ziz was arrested, but again disappeared after being
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: better on a bond because apparently nobody wins a freaking
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: lesson around here, and she's most likely hanging out somewhere
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: with Jamie and Daniel Blank. So that catches us up
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: for now, you know. And with our closing thoughts here,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: you know, more senseless violence. I mean, I know, we
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: don't know for sure if Jamie was behind it, but
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: the circumstantial efdence is not looking great for sure. And
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: the thing I don't understand the most is how the
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: hell Jamie's relationship was his from warning the world that
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: Ziz may murder them and their friend to where they
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: are now, like, let's hang out, I'll pay for things.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Well live What how did we get here? How does
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: this even happen? What Didziz say? I need to know
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: what happened in the year twenty twenty fourth. I've me crazy.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: I cannot wait for us to find out more information
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: about the story, and I think we will. You know,
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: I think some additional charges are going to be on
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: the way for these people. So and I hope Richard
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: and Rita get the justice that that they deserve. So
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: so sad, so many wastes.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Lives, say, is who if you start with us after
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: all of that, and you aren't furiously googling rationalists cult
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: Vermont Samurai Sword Blog War, we want to say thank you.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: We know that this case is intense, it's complicated and
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: in some moments absurd enough to feel completely made up.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: But behind all aus, these are real people, people who
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: lost their lives, people who lost their way, and people
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: who allegedly lost every loust stounce of common sense somewhere
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: between Berkeley and the backwoods. Now it's easy to joke
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: when things get weird, because wow, do they get weird,
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: but we never forget that at the center of all
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: this are families, grieving, community shaken, and investigators working tirelessly
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: to get justice. Richard and Rita's Zajko sounded like the
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: kind of people we all hope to live next or two.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: You know, they were kind, generous, obsessed with holiday decorations.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: They deserve better, and Curtis Lynde, survivor hero victim twice over,
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: deserved so much better. Their stories matter, even when wrapped
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: in layers of chaos, conspiracies, and poorly executed attempts at
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: surrounding sounding smart on medium now, whether you're here for
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: the wine, the weirdness, or just trying to figure out
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: how someone with a children's book and a NASA internship
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: allegedly ends up hiding a murder weapon in a hotel room,
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: Please please don't ever accept an opportunity to murder someone
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: as a trust exercise. It's it's been an evening, but
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: until next time, may your passwords be strong, your WiFi encrypted,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: and your inner circle free of anyone who names their house.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Guilt right and.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: Thanks Lady and Gray.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: Eight whole months woof oof, Well, what a what a night?
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: Well you know, let's talk about what we'll be covering next. Okay,
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: so important to note next week we will be off

- 1:30:23Speaker 1: until more information or a trial happens, we will be
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: talking about the recent arrest of Jamie'sajeco Daniel Blank insist
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: because at least if they were in jail. They're currently
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: in jail, as I'm sure you all suspect, it will
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: be dramatic, because of course that will be. We'll also
