- 0:00You.
- 0:02Hello, listeners. I am
- 0:05the narrator.
- 0:09Today's story takes place in the town of Devil's
- 0:11Lake, North Dakota, a small, remote
- 0:14town in the middle of nowhere. The year
- 0:17is 1985. The date
- 0:20August 19. This tale will bring with
- 0:23it mysteries in intrigue
- 0:25lies, hidden realities, and
- 0:28the blending of fact from mythos.
- 0:31Join our hunters as they seek out the truth and
- 0:34find those who are missing in today's
- 0:36story of music mayhem.
- 0:41Welcome back to episode
- 0:44two of Hunter's Haven
- 0:47musical mayhem.
- 0:50We're just going to jump right back into it. Same
- 0:53cast of wacky characters. Just, um, to
- 0:55recap.
- 0:56Ah.
- 0:58Denny Rogers.
- 0:59Kenny Whitlock.
- 1:01Bob E. There you go.
- 1:03And they went bowling and then went to a house, broke into a
- 1:06house. And that was all we really established in the first
- 1:09episode. Now we are on the episode two where they're going
- 1:12outside of the house to look for more
- 1:15clues.
- 1:15Is it breaking and entering if it's
- 1:18unlocked?
- 1:19Um, that door was wide open too.
- 1:21It's just entering.
- 1:23It was for the good of the kids.
- 1:26Mhm HM.
- 1:28All right, let's have some reservations.
- 1:31Let's canvas
- 1:34the yard, kids.
- 1:36All right. Kenny's, uh, going to
- 1:39just start scoping around the yard looking for any clues on the
- 1:42ground. Following the trail of
- 1:45red so well, I don't know if there's any.
- 1:47There's not red silver.
- 1:49Man, these kids are going to be so much trouble.
- 1:53Their parents are going to be so mad at them.
- 1:56Did we go out the back door or the front?
- 1:58I kind of imagine the front because I thought just be
- 2:01somewhere we all kind of gathered up after the kitchen. It might have been
- 2:04adjacent to the front door, but that's just my personal.
- 2:06It is more near the back.
- 2:07Oh, okay.
- 2:08Well, let's go through the back.
- 2:09It's near the foyer.
- 2:10That makes sense.
- 2:11Yeah. Okay.
- 2:13Go out the back door.
- 2:13So we're in the backyard.
- 2:15Is there a garage?
- 2:17A garage?
- 2:17Yeah, there's a big garage over to the west side of the
- 2:20house.
- 2:21We have a shed.
- 2:24Sure. Yeah, in the back. Big backyard, actually.
- 2:27Huh.
- 2:27Uh, there's a fence down in the back of the yard. They got a chain
- 2:30link fence around. Actually, not chain link. They're richer.
- 2:32Wooden.
- 2:33A big nice tall wood fence. And the back gate is
- 2:36open. Uh oh. Well, that's
- 2:39something.
- 2:39I'll gravitate towards 100%.
- 2:42Kenny immediately, uh, as he sees.
- 2:45And they have a shed in the backyard.
- 2:46Open back gate. He goes, oh my gosh. That's
- 2:49it. They must have come out through the back and they
- 2:52got dragged. Oh, no. They got dragged into the
- 2:55forest or something.
- 2:56Do we see any drag?
- 2:57Oh, that's a good point. Let's look at the ground and see if there's
- 3:00any drag marks.
- 3:01You guys all want to go investigate a mystery there?
- 3:03Yeah.
- 3:04Okay.
- 3:05Or you roll investigate mystery, which is.
- 3:07Plus that's double fours right there.
- 3:09Plus what was mine.
- 3:11That, uh oh.
- 3:12Did we roll the same thing.
- 3:14I got an eight.
- 3:16I got a nine.
- 3:18I got an eight as well.
- 3:19Then you all get one question from the investigative
- 3:22mystery section.
- 3:24I'm going to ask one that I think is on all of our
- 3:26minds, uh, and it might be an obvious
- 3:29one, but I'm going to ask, where did it go?
- 3:32Okay, so you guys are all
- 3:35walking around and you're following
- 3:38the footsteps, and it's a little muddy back they are
- 3:41footsteps. Yeah, there's footsteps a little muddy. There's actually a good
- 3:44amount of them. You, uh, can't really make out how many
- 3:47there are. There's just a good mount. And there's a little muddy back here.
- 3:49Right.
- 3:50The footprints are a little fading because it was a couple of days ago, but
- 3:53you can make out some rough footsteps. And, uh, you
- 3:56notice that all of them are gathered at
- 3:59this gate. And then they all leave the gate together
- 4:02as a group. But as they're out of the
- 4:04gate, then all the footsteps
- 4:07merge to like they're following a single
- 4:10file line to the point where they're
- 4:12now just a single set of footsteps walking.
- 4:15It feels like a cult walking down.
- 4:18The and then you guys really follow those
- 4:20footsteps, but not too far down this path
- 4:23into the woods before the footsteps disappear
- 4:26from lack of trail because they kind of, like, wander
- 4:29off wicked.
- 4:31These guys. Like, we're all headed out of the house in a
- 4:34hurry, but then they all filed into a line as they
- 4:37went into the woods. How strange is that?
- 4:39So Denny's going to be like.
- 4:44How.
- 4:44Big are the tracks there? See any bigfoot
- 4:47tracks there?
- 4:48So what sort of creature is
- 4:52does he see anything that would indicate
- 4:55no.
- 4:55Other footsteps except for the
- 4:58footprints of the presumably
- 5:01kids? No other stray footsteps. No
- 5:04big feet. No big feet. No.
- 5:06Something must have coaxed them into the woods.
- 5:10No hair on the fence back there. Uh, no
- 5:13hair on the bark of this
- 5:15tree. Uh,
- 5:18no oversized bare
- 5:20footprints.
- 5:21But on the gate of the fence you do spot
- 5:24something. A rip, part of a ripped
- 5:27shirt.
- 5:27Oh, wait a minute.
- 5:29What do you see, Dennis?
- 5:32I think it's, uh, part of a shirt or a
- 5:35jacket or something.
- 5:36It's plaid.
- 5:38Could be a shirt or a jacket or something.
- 5:43Look at that. Who do you think it belonged to? Let's
- 5:46see. I don't know any of the guys. Could
- 5:49have been plaid kind of guys.
- 5:51I compare it to the plaid shirt that I'm
- 5:53wearing.
- 5:55It's, uh, North Dakota. Any of the
- 5:57girls could have been wearing plaid, too.
- 5:59That's a fair point.
- 6:00Bob, you look through Tony's closet filled to the brim
- 6:03with plaid shirts.
- 6:04I think that it's Tony.
- 6:06What makes you think it was Tony?
- 6:08I was looking in his room. I was looking
- 6:11for clues, see if he was maybe going to run away or know,
- 6:13maybe he had a little girl thing.
- 6:15Well, can't see you weren't being thorough.
- 6:18That's true, I guess.
- 6:19And I saw up there a bunch of plaid shirts.
- 6:21Okay, so we can probably safely
- 6:24assume that this is Tony's shirt.
- 6:27Man, I'm looking at these footprints. I'm looking at this
- 6:30shirt. Uh, obviously the police,
- 6:33uh, I've said it before, I'll say it again.
- 6:36Devil's Lake's finest are really slacking off
- 6:39right now. Look at this. Look at all these clues that
- 6:42they just didn't even hey, you know what, though? All things
- 6:44considered, this is really putting us on a good line to make
- 6:47this $25,000 we can find these kids.
- 6:50Oh, wait, hang on. I forgot something.
- 6:52I put the piece of shirt back on the thing.
- 6:55So I take a picture.
- 6:59Uh, which.
- 7:00Is equipped with a flash bar that plugs in the
- 7:03top.
- 7:03Wow. Fancy.
- 7:06Yeah, that's a good idea. Get the photos of the evidence. That way we
- 7:09can really show our.
- 7:10Let me, uh, take a picture of these prints here on the
- 7:12ground.
- 7:13Oh, yeah. Great idea.
- 7:14Okay.
- 7:15It's kind of like a math equation. When you go to the police,
- 7:18they want you to show your work.
- 7:21That's what I've learned as a kid.
- 7:22Detective, can't help but notice here, but
- 7:25there's no, uh, drag
- 7:27marks. Yeah, I mean, the
- 7:30steps are evenly spaced. Not like
- 7:33they're tied up with any rope or anything. Or at least
- 7:35not by the ankles.
- 7:37Now we're going to go to bobby, you had a
- 7:40question. What was your one question you had?
- 7:42I don't even know what I can ask at this point. I feel like everything has
- 7:45been answered.
- 7:46You can kind of alter the questions a little.
- 7:48It's true. You can. As long as it's nothing, like,
- 7:51super specific. What's the monster
- 7:54today? Who specifically is
- 7:57behind?
- 7:58I'll do. Just like what is being concealed here. Are
- 8:01there any more clues to be.
- 8:03Found from the shirt to the,
- 8:06I guess, big? Those
- 8:09are kind of obvious clues. With the gate was open and the back
- 8:12door was wide open.
- 8:14Are there any smells?
- 8:16You don't really smell anything besides, I don't know
- 8:19how specific of smells you're talking about.
- 8:22Um, besides the odor of
- 8:24sulfur. No
- 8:27sulfur. Um, not really much being
- 8:29concealed here. Just the fact that there's
- 8:32the footprints, the oddness to them,
- 8:36the plaid shirt on the fence gate, but there's
- 8:38no drag marks. It looks like
- 8:41whoever these kids, uh,
- 8:43went willingly. I guess the best way. So
- 8:46it's not like something's being concealed here. Other than the fact
- 8:49that the
- 8:52way they left is being
- 8:54concealed, if that makes sense.
- 8:57Right. It's not that
- 9:00they're missing, but they're missing for
- 9:02a know all
- 9:05things.
- 9:06You know, I still kind of question Bobby's detective
- 9:09skills. Maybe, but you mentioned something earlier about some this
- 9:12feels like some cult business, and this kind of
- 9:15feels like some cult business.
- 9:17I feel like you're judging me, but also, like, stealing
- 9:19my ideas.
- 9:20Breath.
- 9:20Uh, no, it was a compassult
- 9:24where I insult your intelligence, but also compliment
- 9:27you on an idea that you had earlier.
- 9:29It's a good I gave you Tony's shirt,
- 9:32okay. Gave you the
- 9:35job so far. Uh, I drove you here.
- 9:38That's also true. That's also true. I mean, there's
- 9:41definitely some things about your truck that you need to get fixed.
- 9:44She also gave you a pretty good
- 9:47scare today was a good
- 9:50one there, Bobby.
- 9:52Well, we're about
- 9:55to go into the woods here, and I'd prefer if that didn't
- 9:58happen again. Let's
- 10:01not do any more spooky stuff, because if I'm being honest,
- 10:04these footprints and everything, that's weird,
- 10:07right?
- 10:08Maybe it's, uh maybe it's Bigfoot.
- 10:10Yeah, maybe it's mean, if I saw
- 10:13Bigfoot while I was hanging out at a party, I'd go running into the woods,
- 10:16too, right, Dennis?
- 10:17You would go running into the back of an unmarked
- 10:20van, wouldn't you?
- 10:22I don't think I would go that far.
- 10:25I think I've got a bit more sense than that.
- 10:28Well, there's no doubt that, uh, Bigfoot could
- 10:30carry them all if he wanted
- 10:33to. But the question is, why would he wear
- 10:36children's shoes? Why he does it.
- 10:38Uh, you ever go to get the
- 10:41groceries out of your mom's car and you just slip
- 10:44on whatever shoes are by the door? That's
- 10:46what Bigfoot did.
- 10:47I don't like what you're implying. That, uh,
- 10:50Bigfoot is grocery shopping by grabing
- 10:52children.
- 10:57Did he have a coupon?
- 11:01Buy one, get five more free.
- 11:07He's bigfoot coming in. He paid
- 11:10with the kids wallet that he
- 11:13left the one, and they're all broke. Uh, no.
- 11:15Also, just quick side note for Emily. Uh,
- 11:18I did just double check on $30 in
- 11:211980. Would have been, like, 80
- 11:24something dollars, like, worth 80.
- 11:26I'm making out.
- 11:27Yeah.
- 11:28Rich kid.
- 11:29I feel like even, uh, if we don't find
- 11:32them, it's been worth my.
- 11:34Time, worth her time.
- 11:37Uh, with that, I'm like, all right,
- 11:39guys, we got to follow these prints. Let's
- 11:42follow these prints.
- 11:44Like I said before, you can't really.
- 11:45Fall because they disappeared.
- 11:47They disappeared pretty quickly.
- 11:48Let's see.
- 11:49Which direction are they going in?
- 11:51Yeah, I mean, they were walking in a pretty straight line.
- 11:53Were they?
- 11:56It was more like they were heading down a path. There was,
- 11:59like, a path back in the woods. You don't really
- 12:01know where it leads. You could presume because they're heading
- 12:04north, that they're heading to Devil's Lake, which is in the
- 12:07center of these woods. Uh, but then they start
- 12:10turning east, and that's when you kind of lose them, is
- 12:13after they start turning east, more off the beaten
- 12:16path. And you kind of look around for
- 12:18trails, but it's dark, and you have the flashlights. You're looking, but
- 12:21now it's getting a little more like brush and stuff,
- 12:24which is another thing to note. Whoever
- 12:27went very much veered from the beaten path and took
- 12:30a hard right into straight
- 12:33overgrowth and brush.
- 12:34Do we see kind of messed
- 12:37up overgrowth and brush where they would have plowed
- 12:40through.
- 12:40You can see parts of
- 12:43where some brush was stepped on and
- 12:45trampled. But then also, there'll just be
- 12:48giant open areas. And also,
- 12:51none of you guys are unless you can correct me if
- 12:54you are, but are any of you, like, trackers by
- 12:56nature?
- 12:58I once found this dog.
- 12:59Okay, well, I mean, if, uh, you guys were
- 13:02like, I'm a hunter, but if none of you are trackers by
- 13:05nature, I'm going to tell you, not only would it be hard to track just by
- 13:08itself, but it's also dark, the sun's gone,
- 13:11so that would make it just even harder to track
- 13:13just this. And it's not
- 13:16fresh either. It's two days old.
- 13:19Well, I think we might have to come back
- 13:22here in the morning. We'll have a little bit better
- 13:25visibility. But, um, we
- 13:28could also stop by the police station, maybe ask them if there
- 13:31was anything that they found that,
- 13:33uh, they didn't make it into
- 13:36the paper. And maybe that'll kind of help us out a little
- 13:39bit. I mean, they put up a reward. They know that people are
- 13:41looking, or they're hoping people are looking.
- 13:44It's not like we don't have to tell them we went into the
- 13:47house. In fact, I think we should all agree right here now
- 13:50that we don't tell them that we went into the house. I know it's
- 13:52normally a bad thing to lie to a police officer,
- 13:55uh, but I think in this case, it's probably for the best.
- 14:00Yeah, it's not a bad idea there, Kenny. It's a pretty
- 14:03good one, actually.
- 14:05Uh.
- 14:08Yeah. What kind of dog did the mare
- 14:10have?
- 14:11Oh, yeah, it was one of those fancy golden doodles,
- 14:14but it was a little bit more doodle than golden.
- 14:17M.
- 14:19A Doug like that might have a decent sniffer on
- 14:22him.
- 14:23Dog's long dead.
- 14:25That dog's long dead. I mean, unless
- 14:28you got your aunt around that can talk to it.
- 14:34So are we going to go to the police station?
- 14:36Yeah.
- 14:36Are you cool driving us to the police station?
- 14:39I don't want to interact
- 14:42with the police, though.
- 14:43Yeah, that's okay.
- 14:44Uh, so you guys I'll take you and you
- 14:47just let me know.
- 14:48You're going to circle the block or something.
- 14:50Yeah, I don't know. I'm kind of hungry. Uh, it's going to
- 14:53go scrounge something up.
- 14:55Some Mickey D's with your newfound
- 14:57cash. Newfound cash and
- 15:00car.
- 15:02All right, let's go.
- 15:05You guys all head back to the car. Hop
- 15:07in, head down to the old police
- 15:10station where it is
- 15:13late at night. Um,
- 15:16Bobby drops you two off and you two head on inside
- 15:19where you are greeted by Susie
- 15:21Owens.
- 15:23Susie Owens.
- 15:25I do want to say I probably will go and, uh, get some
- 15:28food, but I've also got, like, a lockbox in my
- 15:31truck, so I just kind of unload my
- 15:33load into my lockbox.
- 15:36Got it.
- 15:37Okay, I just have to ask from Scottish
- 15:40perspective, how long have you had this stolen truck?
- 15:43It's my.
- 15:46Uh huh, okay.
- 15:47That I bring with me from stolen car to stolen
- 15:50car.
- 15:50Oh, okay.
- 15:50And you just shifted it over to this?
- 15:52Yeah, it's like one of those hotel.
- 15:55Lockbox steal a new car when the.
- 15:57Other one runs out of gas
- 15:59and.
- 16:00Then everybody in town is just like, man, no, our car
- 16:03ended up at the bowling.
- 16:03Was the car that you stole at the
- 16:06bowling alley a car you already had stole? Or
- 16:09is it just you stole a car right in front of them
- 16:12without them?
- 16:14It was a car I stole from my last job out of
- 16:18town.
- 16:18Oh, so it's from a town over.
- 16:19Yeah.
- 16:19I don't want local car these townies to
- 16:22recognize their own vehicle.
- 16:25Isn't that Stuart's.
- 16:28Car?
- 16:29Concerning start gaslighting Stuart.
- 16:31It gets close to empty. She just like, drives it into
- 16:34Devil's.
- 16:37Lake.
- 16:38He's just.
- 16:41Grandfather.
- 16:44Um, but I can afford gas this time.
- 16:47Yeah, it's true.
- 16:47I got $80.
- 16:50There you go.
- 16:51All right, so what are we doing?
- 16:52Yeah.
- 16:52Where is Susan Susie Owens?
- 16:55She goes, oh, what can I do it
- 16:58for?
- 16:59Felix?
- 16:59Yeah, Susie, we were hoping we could talk to whoever's
- 17:02in charge. Uh, what's the sheriff's
- 17:05name that you actually had? We are going
- 17:08with Steve. Okay.
- 17:09Yeah, well, it's the sheriff.
- 17:10There's also a chief did you say Steve?
- 17:13Barbie barter.
- 17:15Steve Barter.
- 17:15Yeah.
- 17:15We were just hoping that I could talk to,
- 17:19uh, uh, uh,
- 17:21I flashed my badge.
- 17:24M. What was that there, dear?
- 17:25I didn't get quite a good look at
- 17:29that. I hold up the badge in front of her, knowing that she has
- 17:32bad eyesight.
- 17:34She pulls out my deputy badge and looks
- 17:37closer at and goes, oh, don't
- 17:40we normally give, uh, these out to, uh, the, uh, young
- 17:43ones?
- 17:43Well, yeah, I mean, I earned it. I earned it when I was
- 17:46a kid and I've been able to
- 17:49maintain my relationship with the police department at
- 17:52Devil's here. Susie, you know all this
- 17:54stuff.
- 17:55Susie, we've done this.
- 17:56I've come in on a lot of.
- 17:58Different no, you, uh, just I
- 18:01still can't believe you're using that badge.
- 18:03What, uh, do you need to talk.
- 18:05What do you need to talk to Sheriff Steve about?
- 18:07Uh, well, we're, uh, investigating I'm using my
- 18:10detective skills.
- 18:13Uh, you come in here a lot, talk to old Sheriff Steve. I'm just going
- 18:15to bypass this and just get him
- 18:18I appreciate that, Susie.
- 18:20I don't know why we have to.
- 18:21Go through and you hear in the background, she goes,
- 18:24Steve. Yeah, he's
- 18:27back.
- 18:30Yeah, I think Kenny like, leans over.
- 18:32His uncle's here with him tonight.
- 18:35Oh, yeah.
- 18:36Oh, don't you know it. Okay, well, he's heading right on
- 18:39over.
- 18:40Fantastic.
- 18:41Thanks, Susie. And I just start making my way
- 18:44over around the corner to greet him.
- 18:46As he comes by.
- 18:47It's like the sheriff is, like, here, working, burning
- 18:50the midnight oil, trying to crack this case.
- 18:52Yes, this is a very pressing case because, mind
- 18:55you, nine kids gone missing.
- 18:57The mayor's kids know that.
- 18:59The mayor's kids. That only increased
- 19:02the case. Like, three kids and going missing in a
- 19:05week is, like, something out of the
- 19:08ordinary. But then six kids going missing in one night, two of
- 19:11them being the mayor's kids. That gets the people
- 19:13talking. Okay, so Steve comes around the
- 19:16corner, and he sees you and he goes, hey
- 19:19there, cher.
- 19:21Steve.
- 19:26Yeah. I'm assuming
- 19:29you're here, uh, about the missing kids.
- 19:32That's right.
- 19:33New case you want to crack.
- 19:35Oh, and you know, I'm gonna so.
- 19:37What are you here for? Do you
- 19:40have information, or
- 19:42you miraculously solved it this time?
- 19:45Well, hey, you know me, Sheriff Steve. I'm pretty good,
- 19:48but I'm not quite that good, unfortunately. But we're definitely working
- 19:51on it. My uncle is helping us. Got, uh,
- 19:54another associate. She's helping us out with it.
- 19:57Um, we're working hard to crack this case. Uh, but we're
- 20:00just hoping, actually, that you might have had some information
- 20:03that you could share with us to kind.
- 20:04Of help us along. I
- 20:07mean, everything that, uh, we've
- 20:10publicly shared here at the, uh, police department
- 20:12is, uh, in the local
- 20:15papers that we reported. We've
- 20:17been keeping up to date accounts of what's been
- 20:20going on and all information that's
- 20:23publicly given out. We told the
- 20:26local journalists this morning, especially since everyone's hard
- 20:29pressed with the mayor's kids being, uh,
- 20:32missing and all.
- 20:33I would like to use a special ability that
- 20:36I have as the meddling.
- 20:37Kid, which is tell me the truth. Okay, go for it.
- 20:40Tell me the truth. Basically, uh, it's just an investigative
- 20:43mystery, but I have some bonus questions I.
- 20:45Can ask if I succeed. Okay, um,
- 20:47so that's actually pretty solid ten.
- 20:50Uh, it is a ten, yeah.
- 20:53Look at that, too. He gets two questions.
- 20:54I get from it two questions. So the first one is, are
- 20:57you lying to me? Which is one of the questions
- 21:00I.
- 21:00Get with the ability.
- 21:05No, here's how he would ask it. He would say, Are you telling me
- 21:08everything, Sheriff? Be honest with me right now.
- 21:10No, I'm not telling you everything,
- 21:14um, because, like I said, it's
- 21:16private police matter, and everything that we can
- 21:19publicly say is, uh, for
- 21:22that we've given already.
- 21:25Okay, well, then my follow up question.
- 21:26Will be one of the original ones.
- 21:27Which is what is being concealed
- 21:30here? I say, Look, Sheriff, here's the
- 21:34thing. You're going to put out an ad in the paper for all of
- 21:37us private investigators, kid investigator
- 21:40detectives like myself, and you're going to say that you're going to offer award
- 21:43if we can find these kids, but you're not giving us
- 21:46the resources to help you find these kids. And at the end of
- 21:48the day, isn't their safety. The
- 21:51primary, uh, situation here. We got to find these kids.
- 21:54The sooner the better, and it's not
- 21:57helping anybody.
- 21:58I'm just going to quickly get you off my
- 22:01back.
- 22:02I'm not on your back. Like yoga of Luke
- 22:05Skywalker.
- 22:06No, I don't understand that reference. What's, uh,
- 22:09a yogurt?
- 22:11Uh, I'll tell you next Thursday when I come in at my regular
- 22:14time.
- 22:15Okay, I'll just run you through the whole so. Look forward to
- 22:18those meetings.
- 22:20Yeah.
- 22:20Sheriff, I didn't know you were lactose.
- 22:24Intolerant, but what I can do for you guys is I
- 22:26could and I don't normally do this,
- 22:30but desperate times call for
- 22:33desperate actions, and.
- 22:37Uh, these are desperate times.
- 22:38The more people looking, the better. And what I can provide for you guys
- 22:41is copies of,
- 22:44uh, the crime scenes, uh, all
- 22:47information acquired at the crime scenes of all four
- 22:50missing cases.
- 22:51Yeah, that'd be fantastic.
- 22:53Just, uh, a brief description of each crime
- 22:56scene and anything found there.
- 22:58Sure.
- 22:58Give us CMO.
- 23:00Well, I'll have to go on back and get some copies and bring them out to
- 23:03you, but I think that would get you guys
- 23:06started. Because for the most part, with these missing
- 23:08kids cases, it's more
- 23:11the not really. You have a person to look for, but
- 23:14rather, uh, you have people to look for, but you don't have any place
- 23:17to really start besides this
- 23:20last scene location.
- 23:21Right.
- 23:21Yeah. And that's what we're trying to get moving on.
- 23:24So I'll go back and get those for you guys, and then hopefully that keeps
- 23:27you out of my hair until next Thursday,
- 23:30whenever you usually come in.
- 23:32Oh, Sheriff Steve, I love our little back and forth that
- 23:34we have.
- 23:35Uh, I
- 23:38don't he turns and he walks all to the
- 23:41back, and you guys kind of have to wait around
- 23:44twiddle your thumbs. But after, like, ten minutes oh, wait.
- 23:47Real quick, I say to Uncle Dennis, senior Uncle Dennis, this
- 23:50is the kind of stuff that having a deputy
- 23:53badge really gets you. You get a lot of the inside
- 23:56information with the police department
- 23:59here with none of the red tape, either.
- 24:02I tell you, Ken, I've never been prouder to be
- 24:04an honorary junior
- 24:07deputy.
- 24:08Hey, you know it. We're going to solve this case.
- 24:10Yeah, Uncle Danny.
- 24:13Um, so after about 15 minutes, he comes
- 24:16around back
- 24:19with, like, four sheets of paper,
- 24:22and he hands them to you guys. They're all double
- 24:25sided, and he hands them to you guys. Um, that's all
- 24:28I can really tell you for now. That's all we've
- 24:30got. Um, so I guess
- 24:32good luck.
- 24:34All right.
- 24:35Thanks, sir.
- 24:37Thank you, Sheriff.
- 24:38Hey, Susie. Ah, maybe a late night for
- 24:41us, working on this case.
- 24:42You think you could brew some joe for
- 24:45us?
- 24:46Oh, sure, sure.
- 24:47There.
- 24:48Uh, Danny.
- 24:49I get you some brew.
- 24:51He's real good stuff, too. You want decaf
- 24:55or you want the good stuff?
- 24:57We're going to need to go full throttle
- 25:00tonight.
- 25:01Okay?
- 25:02Full caffeine.
- 25:04Oh, speaking of night, look at the time.
- 25:06I better call Meg. Better
- 25:09call Meg.
- 25:10She doesn't know you're out here.
- 25:11Am I just going to go home if they're going to be
- 25:14here all night?
- 25:15We're not going to be here all night. We're finishing
- 25:18up a cup of joe. Is
- 25:21that two cups or, uh, just the one.
- 25:24Yeah, I'll have a cup there.
- 25:26Okay.
- 25:26I, uh, make it three, actually.
- 25:28Oh, yeah, we got a friend that's helping us out.
- 25:30Okay.
- 25:30So she goes on back, grabs three words, pours
- 25:33three cups of joe, the good stuff. The
- 25:36caffeine black. And she hands it to you
- 25:40guys. She, uh, said, oh, you have a good night, and you better be calling
- 25:43old Meg.
- 25:44You don't want her wearing um, yeah. So I
- 25:47go, and before we leave, I
- 25:50set the coffees down. Or my coffee
- 25:53down because, uh, I'm juggling my camera and all the other crap
- 25:56I'm carrying, actually. Probably be in the
- 25:59truck. Uh, no, actually, he probably would have
- 26:02brought.
- 26:05It.
- 26:05Uncle Denny's seen way too many red flags
- 26:09tonight.
- 26:09He doesn't dress old. Sticky.
- 26:13Fingers.
- 26:14He did leave his bowling ball in the back, though.
- 26:17Oh, no.
- 26:20Uh, guess what's in the lockbox.
- 26:22He's going to call his wife
- 26:25Maggie, um, and let him know that he is not
- 26:28still
- 26:31bowling. Him and Kenny
- 26:34are enjoying, uh, some bonding time
- 26:37together. Possibly trying to
- 26:40set Kenny up with a.
- 26:45Girl. I'm just going to instead of.
- 26:50Kenny.
- 26:50He's looking through his notes. I'm already reading through
- 26:53the police report.
- 26:54That's.
- 26:57Fair. Checking, um, in on the.
- 27:00Kids.
- 27:01Uh, she holds the phone, I guess, as far
- 27:04as the court
- 27:07extends upstairs.
- 27:09And he's leaning over the
- 27:12desk. Good night.
- 27:16Kids.
- 27:16Oh, sorry.
- 27:19Sue.
- 27:20Don't mention it. Have a good night.
- 27:22All right. And with that, we step outside of the
- 27:25police.
- 27:25You guys all sealed the truck out front with
- 27:28a bobby, like, tapping her wrist, like,
- 27:31what took you so long? As you guys hop back into the
- 27:34truck.
- 27:35Well, uh, it was worth the stop because we got the full
- 27:38police reports from the cases. From all
- 27:41four cases.
- 27:43Got you some coffee. No cream.
- 27:45Oh, I'll take it. I'm not happy about it, and I won't
- 27:48say thank you.
- 27:49All right, then. Is that what
- 27:52you say? Not happy
- 27:55about it? And then you start
- 27:58chugging it. Just big chug.
- 28:00She is driving the car. I guess it's probably best that she,
- 28:03uh, ensures that she's well, uh,
- 28:06awake.
- 28:07So I'm driving the car.
- 28:10Where?
- 28:10Uh, I'm going to look over. Is there any locations
- 28:13that do you.
- 28:14Want me to just start describing stuff
- 28:17on here? The cases and stuff?
- 28:20Sure.
- 28:20Okay. Buckle in, kids. This is
- 28:23full set. First missing
- 28:26victim, sally Reed.
- 28:29Uh, she was, quote,
- 28:32unquote, studying for a midterm
- 28:35final. Uh, and then, uh, her parents
- 28:38awoke to wake her up in the morning having think she fell asleep through
- 28:41her alarm due to such late night studying to
- 28:44find, uh, her books and everything
- 28:47laying down, out, laying out,
- 28:50uh, all over the room. Uh, just like she
- 28:53was doing one of those circle formations where
- 28:56she was looking at multiple books at once and kind of like circling through the
- 28:59different subjects. The, uh, window
- 29:01cracked open, not cracked wide open with the curtains
- 29:04blowing through it. Her parents nowhere to be.
- 29:09Seen.
- 29:09Uh, she had some music on playing, uh, when they
- 29:11came in. Uh, and other
- 29:14than that, she, uh, had a drawer
- 29:17wide open. Uh, and in it was like,
- 29:20clothes that were pulled out,
- 29:24but that was the end you saw some sweaters
- 29:26and stuff were, like, pulled out and dangling over the edge of the
- 29:30drawer. But the police don't know if anything
- 29:32was removed.
- 29:33We have other missing kids outside of our
- 29:36missing kids, and we've only just now seen this
- 29:39article.
- 29:40No. So what happened was there was
- 29:43three kids that had gone missing at, ah, three previous dates
- 29:46throughout this week. But these three cases
- 29:49were just like random cases.
- 29:52They're one offs, their parents don't care enough.
- 29:54No, their parents reward well, they're not rich
- 29:57enough. That's the
- 30:00thing. These parents were just hoping the police could find their
- 30:03kids. But then after one, after two, after three, the police then started
- 30:06putting them together. It was the six kid
- 30:08mass disappearance that has now caused the article in
- 30:11the newspaper. The mayor sending out the roar because it's his kids.
- 30:14So we don't care about poor kids.
- 30:17I didn't say these were poor. They're
- 30:19not necessarily poor. More just like,
- 30:22small town folks are trying to solve this in a small town
- 30:25way. And the big money pockets, people like
- 30:27the McCooks and mayor.
- 30:29Did these kids make the news at all?
- 30:31Make the newspaper, like, a small article on
- 30:34the fifth? Yeah, um, all three of
- 30:37them, same thing, just under, like, a crime index, but nothing
- 30:40huge. The main way you would have heard about these kids is through
- 30:43local gossip. But if you guys three aren't
- 30:45that familiar with local gossip, you wouldn't be really
- 30:48hearing much. You might have been hearing through, like, underground
- 30:51talk, just about some persons going
- 30:54around kidnapping kids. You probably heard the same thing through,
- 30:56like, neighborhood talk. Uh, Denny, as for
- 30:59the detective, I honestly don't think you would have heard of anything unless
- 31:02if you're scoured the newspaper every day.
- 31:04Of course I scour the.
- 31:07Newspaper.
- 31:07And you've probably been starting your pegboard.
- 31:10With, uh, would these parents have had enough money for, like,
- 31:13a ransom drop?
- 31:15If ransom were demanded, yes, and also
- 31:18no, depending on the families. But that isn't a
- 31:21newspaper article.
- 31:22Sorry.
- 31:22That is in the police report. There has not been any ransoms. No
- 31:25ransom demands. These kids have gone missing
- 31:28with nothing else to note of them. Like they haven't heard from
- 31:31anyone, claiming they've stolen the kids. They've just
- 31:34gone, disappearing into the night. And then in the morning, they're
- 31:37not there. That's the first kid, Sally Reed. Second
- 31:40kid, lou Downing is his name.
- 31:43He was reported that night in his bed. And what
- 31:46he does is in the morning, uh, he goes
- 31:49down to the gym, down at the school,
- 31:52and there's an early morning workout around like four in the morning.
- 31:55This guy's crazy. Thing is though, uh,
- 31:58when they went in to check him in the morning, usually, uh, around 05:00 p.m., his
- 32:00budy Darryl comes in to see him. He was
- 32:03gone. But the back door was wide open.
- 32:06His weights that he always
- 32:09lou always puts his weights back.
- 32:12They're all out. They're all out on the floor, completely
- 32:15a mess.
- 32:16Disarray.
- 32:17Uh, Daryl's, like Lou would never do this.
- 32:20Uh, and yeah, uh, it was like he
- 32:23was in the middle of a workout because the music was blasting
- 32:25full volume. The lights were all on, the
- 32:28weights were all outside. Up to do some squats, it looked like.
- 32:31And he's just gone. Third and
- 32:34final kid from this first trio, carl
- 32:37Lewis, son of Hugh Lewis, aka.
- 32:40Huey. Um, he was doing some late
- 32:42night photo making, uh, in a dark room in his
- 32:45house. He's the school photographer for this local
- 32:47school newspaper. Uh, he was just doing some late night,
- 32:50probably past like midnight. His parents knew what he was
- 32:53doing, staying up because he had a big paper. Due to midterms, the end
- 32:56of the semester, he wanted one big final autocall. Had some
- 32:59nice pictures for homecoming. He was going to post. Uh,
- 33:02and while doing his, uh, dark light stuff,
- 33:05he disappeared.
- 33:08Um, it's not like there's an exit point for him because he was in
- 33:11his dark room. It's, uh, more that he just kind of left the
- 33:14room. And his photos, his OD thing was his
- 33:17photos were all still developing. And by that I mean
- 33:20they were still all in the baths when they found him and
- 33:23he didn't pull them out. So he had some of them up on
- 33:25strings, right. But others, he had a lot just in
- 33:28the developing pools. What were the photos
- 33:31ruined? Well, the thing is, if you have them in development held
- 33:34up oh, classic pictures of the homecoming game,
- 33:37homecoming dance, nothing too inconspicuous. The fact is just
- 33:40he left a bunch of photos in the development booth.
- 33:43A lot of pictures of the homecoming queen.
- 33:46Yeah, maybe there's a couple, but maybe there was a lot more in
- 33:49the developing pools. I don't know. But
- 33:52other than that, not much else to really toe.
- 33:55His area is kind of clean. He kept good control. It's just the
- 33:58developing pools. And, uh, he, uh,
- 34:00was having listened to some music while he was working too. And that
- 34:03his boombox was also on while he was working. But for the most
- 34:06part, he kept to himself. Uh,
- 34:09quiet kid.
- 34:10So just like super was it cassette tapes or was it
- 34:12the radio? Radio, just like our
- 34:15kids.
- 34:15Yeah, the ones at the party. Yeah, same as
- 34:18the radio. But the police don't make a note
- 34:21of what was playing on. They just said
- 34:24the article just says so it could be cassettes,
- 34:27honestly, because it just says in the police, uh,
- 34:30report, uh, radio or not radio, but speaker,
- 34:34uh, system found on at crime scene. That's all
- 34:37it says. What's the name of the DJ
- 34:40again? Going, uh, back to your memory is DJ
- 34:43repip. And those are it for the most part. So at the end of
- 34:46the day, all three kids seem to be in the middle
- 34:49of something, and then that's
- 34:52just covering they're all in the middle of something and then
- 34:55just disappeared.
- 34:56So one of them disappeared from no, two of them disappeared
- 34:59from their home, and one of them disappeared from
- 35:02the school, which is strange. It wasn't
- 35:05like I mean, the home thing is scary,
- 35:08right? Whoever is taking these kids or luring these
- 35:11kids or whatever the case, it's while they're doing something that
- 35:14they enjoy doing, and it's in their own place
- 35:17of residence. Now, the school kind of almost makes more sense,
- 35:20right? Like, if you're some kidnapper guy or whatever the case,
- 35:23you'd think you'd want to go to, like, a public place
- 35:26at a good time, obviously, late at night, early in the
- 35:29morning when nobody's around. That's when you'd take a kid.
- 35:31Right.
- 35:32But it just seems weird that they're getting
- 35:35napped from their very own homes, some of them, while
- 35:37their parents are around. It just
- 35:40seems odd.
- 35:42Well, it was only one kid that was
- 35:45napped from their home.
- 35:47Their parents?
- 35:48No.
- 35:49Oh, well, okay, one had their parents around. One
- 35:51was hanging out at home by themselves. But that
- 35:54would suggest that whoever's taking these kids or
- 35:57whatever's going on, which.
- 35:58One was hanging out at home by themselves.
- 36:01Sally was at home studying. Lou was at
- 36:04the school workout thing.
- 36:06Right.
- 36:06And then Carl was in the dark room. Does he have a dark room at
- 36:09his yes.
- 36:10Oh, uh, this is on private,
- 36:13homemade, dark super into. Yeah, it's a homemade one. It's really just
- 36:15his nerd what are those called? It's
- 36:18his walk in closet. He put a heavy curtain
- 36:21on it, and it's his walking closet. His parents really don't
- 36:24ask about they don't care because he made it himself.
- 36:27So storing poisonous chemicals inside
- 36:30this closet?
- 36:31Non ventilated closet?
- 36:32No, he ventilated it. His
- 36:35dad is, uh, a
- 36:38contractor. He asked his dad to help him out. He's like,
- 36:41as long as you work with me, Sean, I'll teach you
- 36:44the.
- 36:45Business mutilate my.
- 36:49House. He's a passionate kid. He's a passionate
- 36:52kid.
- 36:53Man, when they go to sell that house, that's going to be some
- 36:56questions.
- 36:56You know, someone loves
- 37:00photography. He comes with a homemade dark.
- 37:04Room. And these were all throughout the week.
- 37:07Leading up to the yeah. Sally's was on the
- 37:10previous Sunday. Lou's was on a Tuesday, and
- 37:12then Carl Lewis's was actually on a Thursday the day before
- 37:15the Friday.
- 37:16Uh, did the police report say anything.
- 37:19About what wait, what days did you say? Sunday
- 37:22for Sally, tuesday for Lou,
- 37:25and then Thursday for Carl. What day is
- 37:27it today?
- 37:29Sunday. Sunday. Yeah.
- 37:30So a week out from Sally's.
- 37:33Right.
- 37:34But that's what today is. The situation with
- 37:37the six kids happened.
- 37:38On a Friday, correct?
- 37:40Yes.
- 37:40And was there anything on the police reports about footprints
- 37:43similar to what we.
- 37:44Found at the party house? No,
- 37:47because all three kids were they just left their
- 37:50house, and there's no footprints.
- 37:53Right. One interesting one, though, is,
- 37:56uh, uh, Sally's. So they did
- 37:59some investigating at the window because her window was
- 38:02open, and they found that there was
- 38:04a pathway that looked like to be
- 38:07traveled on, uh, on the outside of her
- 38:10window, down the roof and then down a side like a little
- 38:13area and looked like it was a pathway Sally normally took
- 38:15to sneak away from the house.
- 38:18So they were assuming maybe that's how the person came in
- 38:21to get her, was through that window or lured her out
- 38:24through that.
- 38:24Are they automatically assuming a kidnapping and not that she just
- 38:27ran away?
- 38:29Well, they were just assuming running away because it looked
- 38:32like a common path of leaving with Sally. But then
- 38:35when another random kid
- 38:38disappears at the school gym, then that just seems odd because he
- 38:41was in the middle of something. And then after the third
- 38:44kid, they're like, okay, this seems way too weird to be just a bunch
- 38:47of kids mass running away. It seems like there's repeated
- 38:50crimes.
- 38:53Here. Yeah. These first three here,
- 38:56uh, you could say maybe they just had some,
- 38:59uh, pretest anxiety and just, uh, decided
- 39:02to play a hooky for a whole
- 39:06week.
- 39:07Yeah.
- 39:07But now there's a little bit too many.
- 39:10Now with those kids that went
- 39:12missing.
- 39:15Yesterday, I'm thinking that man
- 39:18the only thing that comes to mind at the moment. We could
- 39:21go investigate each one of these places,
- 39:23but I'm still thinking back to the party
- 39:26house and how those footprints just kind of let
- 39:29off into the woods. And if these are
- 39:32all related, I feel like
- 39:34whatever's doing whatever's going on here has something to
- 39:37do with what's going on out.
- 39:41There.
- 39:42But it's kind of dark, and I don't want to, uh
- 39:44blair Witch Project hasn't come out yet. I don't want to
- 39:47go running out into the spooky woods, especially,
- 39:50uh, when kids are going missing out
- 39:53there.
- 39:54Uh, well, then you would have nothing to worry
- 39:57about.
- 39:57Yeah, that's true. I mean, if that's all they're after, is just,
- 40:00like, some
- 40:03teenagers.
- 40:06Yeah.
- 40:07How old were these kids here?
- 40:09Sally was 17. Lou was 18, and Carl
- 40:12was also 18. They were both seniors. Lou
- 40:15Downing you'd recognize his name if you're familiar with
- 40:17the local school is the starting
- 40:20quarterback for the
- 40:23Devil Lake Demons.
- 40:25Oh, the QB.
- 40:27Starting QB. Star player.
- 40:28Tony was also into sports.
- 40:31Yeah, uh, he was.
- 40:32Well, Lou wouldn't have to worry about any tests.
- 40:35You kind of know they give the quarterback a bit of a break,
- 40:38those teachers. True that. At least in a
- 40:41town like Devil.
- 40:42Lake, all we've got is our sports. That's what they always told us in
- 40:45high school.
- 40:46Do I need a role to
- 40:49investigate this or what?
- 40:50Uh, sure.
- 40:51Yes.
- 40:51You could, if you guys all wanted to roll. Investigate mystery. To ask
- 40:54more in depth questions about this
- 40:57case, these case files.
- 41:01Sure.
- 41:01You're too distracted with your coffee and.
- 41:03Driving, it looks like. Yeah. I cannot
- 41:05ask anything.
- 41:07I got a pretty bad one as well.
- 41:09Okay.
- 41:09Would you roll?
- 41:10Really important to keep your eyes on the
- 41:12road.
- 41:13Oh.
- 41:14Nine nine no, a ten.
- 41:17Whoa.
- 41:18Two questions coming in.
- 41:20Clutch. Investigate a mystery.
- 41:23Uh, what's being concealed
- 41:26here?
- 41:27Oh, jeez. Okay, um, what is being concealed
- 41:30here? That's kind of a hard one to answer due to the fact that
- 41:33what's being concealed here is one
- 41:36really not much information. Like, they have zero leads where
- 41:39these kids have gone.
- 41:40Right.
- 41:40They all know they disappeared, but they can't
- 41:44find any signs of struggle at any of the locations. It looks
- 41:46like the kids all went willingly wherever they went.
- 41:49Right.
- 41:49They all look like they were in the middle of something, then they
- 41:52left. Right. What be really concealed here
- 41:55is maybe names of, uh,
- 41:57possible suspects. Uh, because you don't have
- 42:00names of suspects, you just have straight up crime scene
- 42:03stuff. The cops didn't give you anything like leads or
- 42:06any people, like whereabouts or where they think the kids are, stuff
- 42:09like that. Simply straight up gave
- 42:12you the information of the crime scenes. They didn't give you
- 42:15any other leads. So that would be big. Concealed
- 42:18stuff is like who or when or where. All right, you got
- 42:21when and where, but you're looking for who or
- 42:24why are kind of really hidden from you, and you can't really
- 42:27find those through what you have right
- 42:30now. You would have to do digging yourself to find those.
- 42:32What sort of creature
- 42:36is it Bigfoot?
- 42:38Dave's really asking this.
- 42:39He really wants to know.
- 42:40Bigfoot.
- 42:40Is it bigfoot? No, it's
- 42:43not bigfoot. Um, what creature it
- 42:46is is gotta be
- 42:49something
- 42:52that does not give away its presence, if that
- 42:55makes sense. All these situations
- 42:58all have the same things in common, which
- 43:01is quiet, calm, and
- 43:04collected. So whatever creature is causing
- 43:06this is doing in a cool, calm, and collected
- 43:09manner.
- 43:10So you're saying it is bigfoot?
- 43:12Just Bigfoot. And he's really
- 43:15nice.
- 43:16He's a smooth operator.
- 43:17He's a smooth operator. Up next
- 43:20on the radio, it's
- 43:23Smooth Operator.
- 43:24We have the radio on?
- 43:26Do you have the radio on in the
- 43:29truck?
- 43:29I mean, we were just playing cassette
- 43:32tapes, but I guess I was waiting for so long
- 43:35that my single share.
- 43:36Cassette tape listened through the whole track.
- 43:39I had listened to both
- 43:42sides.
- 43:42Man, we took a lot. So you're on the radio. Is there a
- 43:45particular station you want to find?
- 43:47Coffee makers back in the day?
- 43:48Classic late night radio talk. You got some
- 43:51late night radio blues.
- 43:54Um, you got the local shock DJ.
- 43:57Can I have the greatest hits from
- 43:59yesterday, tomorrow, and today?
- 44:01Oh, from the local shock DJ.
- 44:04DJ Repip.
- 44:06Yeah.
- 44:06So while you're on the flashes in the background and
- 44:09you guys are all talking and stuff, and you hear old
- 44:12DJ Repip come over the waves
- 44:15again, he goes, oh, that was another classic, uh, for
- 44:18our folks staying up late.
- 44:20I appreciate each and every one of
- 44:23you.
- 44:23This.
- 44:29Is that song we just listened to was a classic.
- 44:32Free Way of Love by Aretha Franklin
- 44:35topping the Charts Next up,
- 44:38we got a classic.
- 44:41Oh, it's late night, we're in the
- 44:44mood for some Sting. If you love
- 44:46Somebody, Set Them Free playing right now. And then
- 44:49you guys start to hear the sweet vocal harmonies of
- 44:52Sting start taking away on the.
- 45:00Radio.
- 45:00I was hoping you would sing for.
- 45:01Us, but that's.
- 45:05Fine.
- 45:06So you guys are still cruising
- 45:09around.
- 45:09So are we just going to waste my gas all
- 45:12night?
- 45:13Well, I don't know. Are we going to head home to, uh,
- 45:16our respective homes, mind you, and maybe regroup in
- 45:19the morning?
- 45:20I don't know. Are we?
- 45:21Well, I suppose so. I did just drink that cup
- 45:24of coffee.
- 45:25Oh, shoot, that's true. I did too. Uh, oh,
- 45:28crap.
- 45:28You guys don't know how to take your uppers and your
- 45:32downers?
- 45:34Uh, I don't have any downers on me, but, uh, I also don't
- 45:37use downers. So that's why I don't have any on me. All I've
- 45:40got is my cool
- 45:43crackers. Uh, those don't exactly work. M
- 45:45as downers. If anything, those are almost uppers in and
- 45:48of themselves. But, um, I
- 45:51digress. Shoot. Uh, I didn't think about that when I
- 45:53drink caffeine. Is there anything you guys think
- 45:56is worth kind of looking into tonight? I mean, I guess
- 45:59I could just go home and wear off caffeine by
- 46:02typing this Macintosh.
- 46:03Uh, I pull into my pockets and I just kind of hand
- 46:06them some packets of chamomile.
- 46:11Tea.
- 46:12Okay.
- 46:12All right.
- 46:15Downers.
- 46:15Yeah, that makes.
- 46:19Sense.
- 46:20So are you guys all going to go.
- 46:23Home, drink our tea?
- 46:25I'm going to unload.
- 46:28Back
- 46:35off.
- 46:35It's like two in the morning. No, it's
- 46:38like 10:00 at, uh, this point. You guys
- 46:41all get home. Do, um, you guys make plans,
- 46:44though, before leaving, about meeting up? Obviously we're going
- 46:46to meet back up.
- 46:47At the bowling alley. It's just it won't be open.
- 46:50We'll just meet in the parking lot, start a timeline. We're talking to
- 46:53you.
- 46:53Let's get after it early. I mean, what time is it right
- 46:56now?
- 46:56Like ten.
- 46:59Yeah.
- 46:59Uh, let me get a full 9 hours.
- 47:01Well, Dennis isn't going to be able to sleep till at
- 47:03least midnight, even with the
- 47:06camera meal.
- 47:07I saw this meet up back at, uh, what says
- 47:1009:00 a.m. Does that work?
- 47:12I could do 900
- 47:15hours.
- 47:16900?
- 47:16Yeah, that's right. All right.
- 47:19That'll give me time to eat some
- 47:21breakfast.
- 47:22Yeah.
- 47:22There you go. Stop at the Mickey D's.
- 47:24All right.
- 47:25So, yeah. Ah, we'll go home. Dennis M will talk
- 47:27to his wife.
- 47:30Well, she'll mostly just he'll kind of nudge her
- 47:33and she'll
- 47:36because she's asleep.
- 47:38And, um, then check on the kiddos, too, right?
- 47:42Yeah.
- 47:42Make, uh, sure the kids are in bed
- 47:45and nobody's got their.
- 47:49Radio fast asleep.
- 47:51Just because you got to save electricity. That's right.
- 47:54Yeah.
- 47:54It's a school night, too.
- 47:56But Dennis did notice
- 47:59at that first house they went well, the only
- 48:02house they went to that they left that, uh,
- 48:05TV on. Well, the music was
- 48:08coming from the TV, right?
- 48:10No, there's a radio.
- 48:11It's a local radio.
- 48:12Is there a TV or just a radio?
- 48:13TV wasn't on.
- 48:14Okay.
- 48:15TV wasn't on, old
- 48:18man. He's like, what's all this new fangled.
- 48:24Technology?
- 48:24Very wasteful to leave that on.
- 48:29M may wear the thing out with that.
- 48:31All of you guys go off to your respective homes. You all
- 48:34lay down for a night's sleep. Maybe not getting the
- 48:37sleep right away due to caffeine, but
- 48:40also because you're hot in a trail of
- 48:43some missing kids. And I kind of like, tossing through
- 48:45this information is kind of keeping you up. Uh, so
- 48:48you guys might not go to sleep for a little bit, but you eventually make it
- 48:51to sleep. And with that, we're going to end
- 48:53today's episode.
- 48:56Well, it seems you managed to survive this
- 48:58episode of Hunter's Haven Music
