Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev.
- 0:04Speaker 1: What's happening girl?
- 0:07Speaker 2: You know there's always stuff happening, seriously all the time.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We just are keeping where. Bev and I have plans
- 0:20Speaker 1: coming up that we are not going to be available
- 0:23Speaker 1: to do videos together. She's got an amazing trip coming up.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I have a trip coming up, So timing for us
- 0:30Speaker 1: is not going to be in alignment over the next
- 0:34Speaker 1: couple of weeks. So we are doing a few short
- 0:38Speaker 1: videos pre recorded we do. We pre record and then
- 0:41Speaker 1: post them out there. So if you watched another video,
- 0:44Speaker 1: we're wearing the same exact thing. It's because we are
- 0:48Speaker 1: all right, same day, different videos because we have to
- 0:53Speaker 1: work around our schedules, which is actually a lot of
- 0:56Speaker 1: fun because I'm excited to be able to come back
- 0:59Speaker 1: together and have conversations about what we've experienced in what
- 1:03Speaker 1: we have coming up. So I would like to talk
- 1:09Speaker 1: about using your voice and confidence because this is something
- 1:17Speaker 1: that Shah has showed up a couple times this week,
- 1:19Speaker 1: and one scenario has been kind of in my brain
- 1:27Speaker 1: every day since it's happened. But another one the fact
- 1:32Speaker 1: that I just I used my voice, which is huge
- 1:37Speaker 1: for me, especially in the dynamics and with the people
- 1:44Speaker 1: I did it with, So you know, you get that
- 1:47Speaker 1: little oh my god, did I just say that, and
- 1:53Speaker 1: that nervousness of oh my god, how are they going
- 1:55Speaker 1: to react type of thing, but then also realizing I'll
- 1:58Speaker 1: give fuck, Like I'm just kind of at that point
- 2:03Speaker 1: that all these people use their voice in ways that
- 2:07Speaker 1: they want to be voic sterous, and they want to
- 2:10Speaker 1: make their point by raising their voice or being very.
- 2:17Speaker 2: It's all controlling and manipulative relative yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Aggressive in the way they say it. Yeah, and me
- 2:24Speaker 1: being able in those situations to use my voice and
- 2:27Speaker 1: say this isn't okay because just for understanding of the audience,
- 2:35Speaker 1: in my history, lack of self confidence, lack of self esteem,
- 2:39Speaker 1: not using my voice which created other issues in my
- 2:43Speaker 1: life and being people's doormats and all the things which
- 2:50Speaker 1: none of it was okay, but it was something I'm
- 2:53Speaker 1: going to say because I believe in things happen for
- 2:55Speaker 1: a reason, that I went through those lessons of life
- 3:01Speaker 1: so I could be where I am today, and at
- 3:04Speaker 1: my age of fifty four, to be able to use
- 3:09Speaker 1: my voice and not give a fuck is like huge,
- 3:14Speaker 1: like so huge, so how do you feel about that?
- 3:21Speaker 1: How does that show up for you? And then I
- 3:22Speaker 1: can share stories if we have the time.
- 3:25Speaker 2: So I'm in the same space. I'm in the same
- 3:28Speaker 2: space that you are. And I'm sitting here thinking we're
- 3:30Speaker 2: fifth we're both fifty four, and I'm thinking fifty four
- 3:32Speaker 2: or nine. You know, we're at completions of things. We're
- 3:36Speaker 2: at finale, you know, finalities, and it's we're it's a
- 3:41Speaker 2: different space to be in this place where we're at
- 3:44Speaker 2: right now. I feel like and I don't think, I
- 3:45Speaker 2: don't know that it's so much an age thing beyond
- 3:48Speaker 2: a number thing. Do you know what I mean when
- 3:50Speaker 2: we talk about numerology and stuff and it's looking at
- 3:52Speaker 2: the number nine and stuff and what does that mean.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Jim passed away when he was fifty four, so that
- 3:56Speaker 2: was the that was he was like, Piecel, I'll see
- 3:59Speaker 2: see you guys, like beb, you got this. You're gonna
- 4:02Speaker 2: go through a lot of stuff right now, and you're
- 4:03Speaker 2: gonna grow and it's you're gonna evolve from the space.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So I fifty four is kind of sat with me
- 4:10Speaker 2: kind of kind of quite a bit actually this year.
- 4:12Speaker 2: So it's really I am gaining more confidence. It's and
- 4:16Speaker 2: it's confidence outside with people, but it's confidence within selves
- 4:20Speaker 2: because even still, let's say when when I first started group,
- 4:24Speaker 2: I would I would leave there feeling like shit because
- 4:26Speaker 2: I'm like, fuck, I shouldn't said that, and I shouldn't
- 4:28Speaker 2: said that, and I said the F word, and I
- 4:30Speaker 2: shouldn't have done that. You know, all these should have
- 4:32Speaker 2: could have would is. And it's like I would sit
- 4:33Speaker 2: and beat myself up old patterns, right old that was
- 4:36Speaker 2: the way that I knew, that was my that was
- 4:38Speaker 2: my autopilot. And it's like I've trained myself away from
- 4:42Speaker 2: all that stuff. But in the process of all that,
- 4:44Speaker 2: I'm gaining more confidence that I'm it's okay for us
- 4:47Speaker 2: to stand up for ourselves. And it's like, you don't
- 4:50Speaker 2: realize it's okay because you we It kind of sucks,
- 4:54Speaker 2: but when we're children, we're not given the choice. A
- 4:57Speaker 2: lot of times, most kids are not given the choice
- 4:59Speaker 2: to have it, to be able to make a decision,
- 5:01Speaker 2: to have a choice, because they're being told what they've
- 5:04Speaker 2: got to do in this moment. Well, you've got to
- 5:06Speaker 2: get ready right now, we're leaving. Right now, I'm leaving.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I'll see you later. I'm just going to leave you here.
- 5:11Speaker 2: You know, there's all these things, and that's and that
- 5:13Speaker 2: goes to the part of the conversation you're talking about.
- 5:15Speaker 2: That's manipulation, that's bullying, that's like all these things. But
- 5:19Speaker 2: we don't realize we're doing a lot of these things
- 5:21Speaker 2: because we were trained by people we have to. They
- 5:23Speaker 2: gave us these tools. We put them in our toolback,
- 5:26Speaker 2: our bag or box or whatever you have, your toy box,
- 5:29Speaker 2: and it's like we had them all in that space
- 5:31Speaker 2: and that's what we knew until we start exploring more.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And I remember thinking my voice, I'm getting so loud.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I remember thinking that I always I know how to
- 5:41Speaker 2: do this, and it's like, no one could tell me
- 5:42Speaker 2: how to raise my kids or anything. And I can
- 5:44Speaker 2: tell you right now, I wish I had listened a
- 5:46Speaker 2: little bit more, not just to the people, but to
- 5:49Speaker 2: the kids. I wish I would have listened through this
- 5:52Speaker 2: vessel which we talked about in the last video. It's
- 5:54Speaker 2: listening through the through all of us, not just the
- 5:57Speaker 2: ears or the eyes or anything. It's just listening through everything.
- 6:00Speaker 2: When someone says something and like I, and you know this,
- 6:04Speaker 2: I used to always have I have I would have
- 6:06Speaker 2: to sit and think about OOO, she said something, and
- 6:09Speaker 2: I gotta have I got a response right now. I
- 6:10Speaker 2: gotta answer. I gotta say something.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And I'm not that.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm not in that space anymore. And the more that
- 6:15Speaker 2: I'm not, the more that you hear, the more that
- 6:18Speaker 2: you feel. I don't have to do massage to pick
- 6:21Speaker 2: up information from somebody, but massage was one way for
- 6:25Speaker 2: me to slow down enough so I could receive the information.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So I would shut up and listen, and then he
- 6:31Speaker 2: received the information. And now I'm learning to do that
- 6:34Speaker 2: even more without doing all that, you know, the beating
- 6:37Speaker 2: up with myself, having that confidence to stand in my
- 6:40Speaker 2: power into kind of flex those muscles. You talked about
- 6:45Speaker 2: in the last video about gifts, and we do use
- 6:47Speaker 2: gifts a lot, but it's like it's not something that's
- 6:50Speaker 2: outside of us. It's something that's withinside of us. We
- 6:52Speaker 2: have have it all the time. And then what came
- 6:54Speaker 2: into my mind is a library. We've got this huge
- 6:57Speaker 2: library withinside of us, and each book has information that
- 7:00Speaker 2: we already have withinside of us. We can call them gifts,
- 7:03Speaker 2: we can call them whenever we want to, but it's
- 7:05Speaker 2: something we already have, and it's like, do you want
- 7:07Speaker 2: to read this book? Do you want to grab the
- 7:08Speaker 2: workbook and learn some more information about this, because, like
- 7:11Speaker 2: you said, we all have these abilities, every single person.
- 7:15Speaker 2: There is nothing that's different from all us. We all
- 7:17Speaker 2: have these capabilities. Some decided they were going to come
- 7:19Speaker 2: in with the information already there, which didn't always make
- 7:22Speaker 2: their life journey easier, and so now we have the
- 7:25Speaker 2: opportunity to take an easier path on it, really because
- 7:28Speaker 2: we've had the experience of life here on planet Earth,
- 7:30Speaker 2: and now we have the experience of inn Oh, I'm
- 7:33Speaker 2: going to grab this book in this book and this
- 7:35Speaker 2: book and start reading them. And the thing is we
- 7:37Speaker 2: don't even have to read them. Just by acknowledging that
- 7:39Speaker 2: we've grabbed that book that intention, we're already opening that
- 7:43Speaker 2: up within the sight of us like a flower, Like
- 7:45Speaker 2: all these amazing things are happening for us all the time.
- 7:48Speaker 2: All it has to do is be curious, have a curiosity.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I had to grab the Confidence Book and I will
- 7:55Speaker 2: probably have to look at that a couple of different
- 7:57Speaker 2: times because it's just a it's a different filling universe, right,
- 8:02Speaker 2: It's not the same thing that I grew up with
- 8:04Speaker 2: because I didn't have confidence. Oh my god, I've never
- 8:07Speaker 2: had confidence. I haven't. I'm I'm fifty four years old
- 8:12Speaker 2: and I'm gaining confidence only now.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Thank you bad welcome to the group.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It's true.
- 8:23Speaker 1: In learning confidence, and I remember this because I mean,
- 8:28Speaker 1: in my history, with all the anger I had and everything, man,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I was bitchy, like I was a bitch seriously, and
- 8:37Speaker 1: I didn't say things very nicely. So in learning to
- 8:41Speaker 1: navigate confidence, of course, that was all a mask, right,
- 8:45Speaker 1: You're no, it wasn't a confidence mask. It was this
- 8:51Speaker 1: is my survival mask. Yes, very very different. When I
- 8:59Speaker 1: was learning to use my voice, it wasn't so good
- 9:04Speaker 1: about expressing myself because it was something new. Again, It's
- 9:08Speaker 1: just another muscle we gotta utilize, we gotta practice, we
- 9:12Speaker 1: gotta recognize. You know, what I said it this way,
- 9:16Speaker 1: it still came out harshly and bitchy, and it didn't
- 9:20Speaker 1: mean to for it to come across that way. But
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm learning. I mean, I had to give myself some
- 9:27Speaker 1: ease and grace so many times after a conversation and
- 9:31Speaker 1: the same thing that should have could have would it, Man,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I shouldn't have said it that way. Man boy was
- 9:35Speaker 1: that I can't even imagine what my face.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Looked like that. Oh God, we won't even go there, Jesus.
- 9:45Speaker 1: So and even in this past week, there was a
- 9:49Speaker 1: couple of situations where where one, when I think about it,
- 9:55Speaker 1: what I said was legitimately uh oh. From my perspective,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it was okay to say. However, the body language, which
- 10:09Speaker 1: was my face kind of put on more of that
- 10:19Speaker 1: bitchy tone to it.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I'll say stassy if.
- 10:22Speaker 1: That makes sense, right, Yeah, So I'm thinking, okay, we
- 10:26Speaker 1: need to be aware of our facial expressions what we're
- 10:31Speaker 1: saying things, because yeah, I can be like and you know,
- 10:35Speaker 1: I mean that type of body language, you're just like bitch,
- 10:39Speaker 1: back off, right, So just recognizing I'm still practicing, there's
- 10:44Speaker 1: still and it I notice too depends on the person
- 10:49Speaker 1: I'm talking to, because I still am navigating learning to
- 10:55Speaker 1: be in my confidence around people who I'm going to
- 11:01Speaker 1: use the words like above me meaning more educated, they
- 11:05Speaker 1: very confident, they know how to stand in their power,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and I am still learning to navigate that. So feeling
- 11:16Speaker 1: like I need to put on that mask that I
- 11:21Speaker 1: am used to from my programming, from my past, so
- 11:25Speaker 1: that to come across in a way that they understand
- 11:31Speaker 1: you're not gonna fuck with me, but it's not in
- 11:33Speaker 1: a graceful manner, if that makes sense. I'm trying to
- 11:36Speaker 1: explain that so people understand the difference.
- 11:39Speaker 2: It makes perfect sense.
- 11:40Speaker 1: To be so. So yeah, so it's been interesting. And
- 11:48Speaker 1: then just last night something happened and I we were
- 11:52Speaker 1: in an environment where it was supposed to be a
- 11:55Speaker 1: fun and playful environment and two people were having a
- 11:59Speaker 1: conversation that was about something else and not a conversation
- 12:07Speaker 1: to be having in the mix of the people that
- 12:09Speaker 1: were present. And they kept talking and I said, this
- 12:16Speaker 1: is not a place for this conversation. You need to
- 12:18Speaker 1: take it out of this room. And they both looked
- 12:22Speaker 1: at me, and I looked at them, and they start talking.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I said, this is not the place for this conversation,
- 12:34Speaker 1: and then they stopped. I mean I was I was
- 12:38Speaker 1: like standing in you need to go somewhere else, You
- 12:43Speaker 1: need to fucking leave. Like I didn't say it that way,
- 12:45Speaker 1: but I was bringing that message across it stop right
- 12:49Speaker 1: now type of thing, And that might come across controlling,
- 12:53Speaker 1: but for the environment that we were in and for
- 12:57Speaker 1: something that we've been building up for past like four months.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Don't bring that energy in this room with that, you know.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I was just like no, So I felt very good
- 13:12Speaker 1: about that. Good even the people that I was talking
- 13:15Speaker 1: to because they are of status with positions with my employment,
- 13:23Speaker 1: they are in status with their positions in the public,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and I'm like, this is.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Not acceptable.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And they knew it, and I'm okay with it because
- 13:35Speaker 1: I felt it in my body spirit, even spirits like
- 13:39Speaker 1: you need to stop this now. It wasn't me trying
- 13:44Speaker 1: to control that. It was me saying not here, not now.
- 13:50Speaker 1: If you need to do it, you need to go yeah, so.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Nice and so then it's twice saw it should be
- 14:01Speaker 2: proud of yourself. Honestly, that's that's something to be proud of.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It really is. It's evolution right there, It really is.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And to be able to not only say it one time,
- 14:10Speaker 2: but to say it again the second time, because what
- 14:12Speaker 2: happens to us when we don't have that confidence and
- 14:15Speaker 2: the first time we say it because we know that
- 14:17Speaker 2: that's what we're supposed to say, but we don't have
- 14:18Speaker 2: that energy to back it up, or we're a little
- 14:21Speaker 2: shaky or whatever. Do you have the confidence to speak
- 14:24Speaker 2: up again? And more firm to let them know this
- 14:28Speaker 2: is this is not the place, like it's this is
- 14:30Speaker 2: not the place. And sometimes, hey, we've all been there.
- 14:33Speaker 2: We've gotten caught in the heat of the moment and
- 14:35Speaker 2: got wrapped up and stuff. But it's like it's recognizing
- 14:39Speaker 2: that this is an opportunity for us to go ahead
- 14:42Speaker 2: and stop us right now, or hey, we should go
- 14:43Speaker 2: talk about this outside or not outside, like to go
- 14:47Speaker 2: box each other, but go talk about it in a
- 14:49Speaker 2: different environment, better way to stay. Because that's growth. That's
- 14:55Speaker 2: not something that would have happened before, because maybe before
- 14:58Speaker 2: you'd be like, listen here, motherfuckers, it's time for you, you
- 15:00Speaker 2: guys to get out. You guys are throwing up a
- 15:01Speaker 2: bunch of shit and it's not our shit. You know,
- 15:03Speaker 2: it could have came across so different and it didn't
- 15:05Speaker 2: be because it didn't have to.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Yeah, well, and then that brings that could bring my
- 15:12Speaker 1: energy down, and all of it affects the environment, all
- 15:16Speaker 1: of it affects the people who are showing up to
- 15:18Speaker 1: have a good time. And then if they feel that energy,
- 15:21Speaker 1: it's not even hearing the conversation, even though I know
- 15:23Speaker 1: that some of the people heard the conversation that the
- 15:28Speaker 1: energy that was being brought into this room by two
- 15:32Speaker 1: people and then me contributing to it. From my standpoint,
- 15:38Speaker 1: the energy shifts. And when the energy shifts, the people
- 15:43Speaker 1: that start coming in Now I'm talking like forty people
- 15:47Speaker 1: are in this room or starting come in. You can
- 15:51Speaker 1: tell like some people coming in with kind of a
- 15:54Speaker 1: gruff look, some people kind of being knit, you know.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And I'm I'm like, this got change. This energy has
- 16:04Speaker 1: got to change. It has got to change right now.
- 16:06Speaker 2: And it changes from you because you change it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 2: So that's what I'm here for. Anybody else ouse that
- 16:12Speaker 2: is listening. It starts from right here, from you. All
- 16:15Speaker 2: of it starts from you. Yeah, because otherwise I could
- 16:18Speaker 2: have turned into a freaking mob mentality really yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And you know, and when you're when you're coming into
- 16:25Speaker 1: an environment to have a good time on a Friday
- 16:28Speaker 1: night to relax, enjoy yourself, be with your friends or
- 16:32Speaker 1: your family, and then you come into a room and
- 16:35Speaker 1: this conversation is happening or you feel this energy. It's
- 16:38Speaker 1: the energy. The's huge. People feel that energy when they
- 16:42Speaker 1: come into a room and they might be up here
- 16:44Speaker 1: and that it will or could not will, but it
- 16:47Speaker 1: could if they allow it, bring them down into not
- 16:53Speaker 1: feel good energy and then sit there for the next
- 16:56Speaker 1: three three and a half hours we know, oh it's
- 17:00Speaker 1: not okay.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And the interesting thing is, too, is just what if
- 17:05Speaker 2: you were sitting back, anybody that was a witness to
- 17:07Speaker 2: all this, to sit back and just kind of watch,
- 17:09Speaker 2: Like you said, some people were coming in with this energy.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Some people were coming in this energy, and they were
- 17:13Speaker 2: going to come in and where they're at and they're
- 17:15Speaker 2: gonna meet whoever else is in there with that energy.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So it's up to it's up to each individual to
- 17:20Speaker 2: be like, I'm gonna stay in the space and it's
- 17:22Speaker 2: going to go higher. I'm raising I'm calling on the angels,
- 17:25Speaker 2: like whatever you've got to do to raise that frequency,
- 17:28Speaker 2: because we can do. That's how powerful we are. And
- 17:30Speaker 2: it only takes one person, right, it's you. It only
- 17:33Speaker 2: took It only takes one person to have an effect
- 17:36Speaker 2: on everybody and that or or two people that with
- 17:39Speaker 2: that energy of a class that now you have flashing
- 17:43Speaker 2: personalities and attitudes and stuff, because now whatever they've experienced
- 17:46Speaker 2: in their daytime is now matching the energy but they
- 17:50Speaker 2: came into and it doesn't have to be that way,
- 17:52Speaker 2: because it when you're the when you're watching everybody, you
- 17:55Speaker 2: can recognize everything, and then you can recognize the shift,
- 17:58Speaker 2: and the shift can go either way. Right, the ship
- 18:01Speaker 2: can feel good or it cannot feel good. I prefer
- 18:03Speaker 2: the feel good. Let's go for the feel good. Sometimes
- 18:05Speaker 2: we're not to not feel good and we want to
- 18:07Speaker 2: stay there for a little bit, and so you kind
- 18:08Speaker 2: of want to bring, you know, bring more to the party.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So yeah, it's just a where it's just we've been
- 18:14Speaker 2: really talking about awareness. Really you're really paying attention to yourself,
- 18:18Speaker 2: and then we're giving you guys a bunch of tools
- 18:20Speaker 2: to kind of look at things using this vessel, using
- 18:24Speaker 2: your whole being as a navigational tools throughout all of this, honestly,
- 18:28Speaker 2: because it's where you're giving out valuable information for them
- 18:31Speaker 2: to process because we've all been in those experiences, whether
- 18:34Speaker 2: it's a small group, whether it's a family just walked
- 18:36Speaker 2: into the room with or whatever. You always know.
- 18:41Speaker 1: And I felt like it was and I just remembered
- 18:45Speaker 1: this because I thought about it after I had said
- 18:47Speaker 1: that and I walked away. I felt like that, like
- 18:54Speaker 1: that mother, hen like these are my people and I'm
- 18:58Speaker 1: protecting them and you need to shut the f up
- 19:00Speaker 1: and get out right. It was like, I have this
- 19:04Speaker 1: room full of people and I'm going like pull my
- 19:06Speaker 1: feathers out and protect them and and and let you know,
- 19:10Speaker 1: this isn't okay to be this way in this room.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And I remember that because I kind of felt that
- 19:16Speaker 1: way in the middle of the conversation, like I my
- 19:22Speaker 1: energy and I am responsible for all these people, even
- 19:26Speaker 1: though I know that's not true on another level, but
- 19:29Speaker 1: that protecting the energy of that room, which felt good, like, hey,
- 19:38Speaker 1: these people to feel you get out. We don't.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And it's not it had nothing to do with the people,
- 19:46Speaker 2: like you said, It had to do with the energy.
- 19:47Speaker 2: You just had to do with the energy. We did
- 19:48Speaker 2: just didn't want that energy in that space. And that's
- 19:52Speaker 2: all so awesome.
- 19:56Speaker 1: So I mean then, and you can we're talking about this.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It's just similar. You could walk into a room where
- 20:07Speaker 1: there are people in the room and nobody's talking each other,
- 20:10Speaker 1: but man, can you feel that heaviness so you know
- 20:13Speaker 1: that there was some kind of confrontation, argument, harsh words,
- 20:20Speaker 1: or just people just being mad at each other, not
- 20:23Speaker 1: even talking, but just being mad at each other. That's
- 20:25Speaker 1: why they say, you know, you can cut the air
- 20:27Speaker 1: with a knife, like you could just feel that tension.
- 20:30Speaker 1: That's what That's what I was tempting to avoid for
- 20:36Speaker 1: this room of people so that they weren't feeling that
- 20:39Speaker 1: and to shift that as quickly as possible. So nice, crazy, awesome,
- 20:48Speaker 1: But the whole idea, you know, it is coming back
- 20:50Speaker 1: around to listen. If you're learning to use your voice,
- 20:55Speaker 1: just keep practicing. It's gonna be messy, it's gonna be
- 21:00Speaker 1: comical sometimes, or sometimes that I've walked away from things,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'm like just shake my head at myself and laugh
- 21:06Speaker 1: at myself, just like I can't believe you just did that.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Just a bunch of opportunities and we always have, Yeah, yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 2: they're always going to be around, just seeing where you're at,
- 21:19Speaker 2: and you know where you're at by how you feel.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And then you could, you know, you could have the
- 21:25Speaker 1: opportunity to practice, Like with BEB and I. You might
- 21:28Speaker 1: see us out and buy, you might say something. We
- 21:30Speaker 1: might be in a similar or same conversation. You say
- 21:33Speaker 1: something where people like us would kind of understand you're
- 21:39Speaker 1: not even really knowing anything about you actually, but we
- 21:42Speaker 1: would understand because we're listening to our intuition, and we
- 21:46Speaker 1: know enough about ourselves that when other people are expressing
- 21:50Speaker 1: themselves in certain ways, like we can just take a
- 21:53Speaker 1: breath and go. First of all, I've been there, right,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I've been there where you're at. I've had that attitude,
- 21:58Speaker 1: I've had those words, I've had those I've had those
- 22:00Speaker 1: I get where you're coming from. But for me to
- 22:04Speaker 1: understand you a little better, it's up to me to
- 22:07Speaker 1: ask you questions instead of getting defensive right away. It's
- 22:12Speaker 1: a let me understand this a little more so that
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm not getting drawn into your energy and matching you,
- 22:20Speaker 1: which is my responsibility. My energy is my responsibility, and
- 22:24Speaker 1: so it would be up to me to say, Okay,
- 22:27Speaker 1: hold on, let me just take a breath here before
- 22:30Speaker 1: I suck into your level of energy and ask the
- 22:34Speaker 1: questions like, let me understand this a little better, right.
- 22:40Speaker 1: And so I feel like Bev and I are more
- 22:43Speaker 1: in that space because we understand ourselves more. And that's
- 22:48Speaker 1: just me and I'm saying this because this is where
- 22:51Speaker 1: a lot of misunderstandings come from, is because we don't
- 22:54Speaker 1: understand ourselves. We're not taking the time to get to
- 22:57Speaker 1: know ourselves. We're not taking the time to hear. We're
- 23:00Speaker 1: not taking the time to practice confidence and learn to
- 23:04Speaker 1: use our voice. We stay stuck in our victim mentality,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and then we step into conversations with other people and
- 23:11Speaker 1: because they're showing up in the same way and you're
- 23:14Speaker 1: showing up in your way, and then it just creates
- 23:17Speaker 1: more confrontation and arguments and all the things, because nobody's
- 23:20Speaker 1: taking the time, first of all, to understand themselves and
- 23:23Speaker 1: second to understand each other. We just dive in and
- 23:27Speaker 1: defensive and got to argue our points and then things escalate.
- 23:32Speaker 1: And and if it really comes down to understanding yourself
- 23:37Speaker 1: and how you're showing up in the world.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, because if you catch yourself being defensive, then you
- 23:43Speaker 2: understand that you're probably interpreting everything from a defensive standpoint,
- 23:47Speaker 2: so you're not processing any of this stuff. And that's
- 23:50Speaker 2: what I have done. I had done forever, honestly, for
- 23:53Speaker 2: as far as I can remember, probably since I was
- 23:56Speaker 2: a little kid, so it's all. It was probably always there.
- 23:59Speaker 2: But then recognizing it's like I've been talking to that
- 24:03Speaker 2: defensiveness that we're talking about. I've been talking to God
- 24:06Speaker 2: and you know, whatever I feel like talk whatever word
- 24:10Speaker 2: I use at the time that I'm communicating that I
- 24:13Speaker 2: don't like the way that I'm feeling. I don't want
- 24:14Speaker 2: to feel like this anymore. And I like, how do
- 24:16Speaker 2: I move beyond this? How do I purge this? How
- 24:19Speaker 2: do I love this? How do I whatever comes to you?
- 24:22Speaker 2: And it's like, really, you don't know what's going to
- 24:24Speaker 2: come to you. It's like another thing that I can
- 24:27Speaker 2: grab a hold of. Right then, is too is every
- 24:29Speaker 2: time we second guess ourselves, we catch ourselves asking questions
- 24:32Speaker 2: and then we start getting confused a lot more.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I do that.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I've done that withinside too. So if I'm doing that
- 24:38Speaker 2: constantly that I know that I'm not I don't know myself.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I'm not familiar with myself. I have no idea why
- 24:43Speaker 2: I'm interpreting these things the way that I'm interpreting them.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Why do I feel these ways? You know all these things,
- 24:48Speaker 2: and you're not gonna know until you start, until you
- 24:51Speaker 2: start getting to know yourself. And you had said that
- 24:53Speaker 2: a long time ago, and it kind of it kind
- 24:55Speaker 2: of awakened something in me like, oh yeah, I want
- 24:58Speaker 2: I'd like to get to know myself. It maybe didn't
- 25:00Speaker 2: go down exactly like that, but it was around you
- 25:03Speaker 2: know it. It created a wanting within sight of me
- 25:05Speaker 2: that I didn't know that I ever had a desire for.
- 25:08Speaker 2: And then as you start to do this, you start
- 25:11Speaker 2: recognizing you used to always say nuggets, all these nuggets
- 25:14Speaker 2: that kind of come forward, and it's like, how you
- 25:16Speaker 2: set yourself so free from all this stuff. Right now,
- 25:19Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on, but I'm getting like
- 25:21Speaker 2: a weird it's a sensation on this side. It's almost
- 25:25Speaker 2: like a it's almost like as if I was getting
- 25:28Speaker 2: goosebumps inside my brain or something. I don't know, there's
- 25:30Speaker 2: something going on, So I'm just telling you, let's go
- 25:32Speaker 2: what's happening right now. But it's fascinating when we start
- 25:35Speaker 2: paying attention to all this stuff, and see what I
- 25:38Speaker 2: just pointed out just now is not something I would
- 25:40Speaker 2: have recognized before because I didn't allow myself to even
- 25:44Speaker 2: pay attention to myself. I didn't allow myself to recognize myself.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I didn't allow myself to listen to the words that
- 25:50Speaker 2: I say that are coming out of my mouth. It's
- 25:51Speaker 2: not for someone else to hear, it's for me to
- 25:53Speaker 2: hear what am I saying? How am I saying, am
- 25:56Speaker 2: I saying from a space of love? Well back then,
- 25:59Speaker 2: I and I've set it from a space love because
- 26:01Speaker 2: I didn't know what love felt like, because I didn't
- 26:03Speaker 2: love myself. And I am loving myself more and more
- 26:06Speaker 2: every day. I am not perfect in that at all,
- 26:08Speaker 2: by any stretch of the means, because every once in
- 26:10Speaker 2: a while I get caught up in the body. But
- 26:13Speaker 2: you know, it's it is. I'm also fascinated where I've
- 26:17Speaker 2: gotten to as far as my the goals that I've
- 26:21Speaker 2: always had, always my life revolved around the gym. It
- 26:23Speaker 2: does not revolve around the gym anymore. I think I've
- 26:25Speaker 2: seen the gym like a couple times in the last
- 26:27Speaker 2: few months, just saying, but this is refreshing. And we're
- 26:31Speaker 2: talking about since two thousand, probably since two thousand or
- 26:34Speaker 2: nineteen ninety nine, that's how long I've been doing it.
- 26:37Speaker 2: And so for me to step beside, it's like it's
- 26:39Speaker 2: I'm letting go of the old stuff that was holding
- 26:42Speaker 2: that I was holding onto and keeping me in a
- 26:44Speaker 2: space to get to this point right now. Does it
- 26:47Speaker 2: mean I'm not ever going to work out again?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Now?
- 26:48Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that. It means that I'm shedding all
- 26:51Speaker 2: the other stuff because I was using it all for
- 26:53Speaker 2: different reasons and I don't need it for those reasons anymore.
- 26:56Speaker 2: So now it's like I'm just doing things. My working
- 27:00Speaker 2: out or my stuff might be running. I'm playing tag
- 27:02Speaker 2: with the kids, and I have to be kind of sharp,
- 27:04Speaker 2: but I have to be able to move pretty quick
- 27:06Speaker 2: because my grandson, my oldest grandson, is pretty fast, like
- 27:10Speaker 2: he's fast, so I have to put I have to
- 27:12Speaker 2: turn it up just to get away from him, which
- 27:14Speaker 2: is an awesome thing. And and I've been feeling better
- 27:16Speaker 2: and better. So it's like, there's do kids go and
- 27:20Speaker 2: work out? No, they don't not typically they run around constantly.
- 27:23Speaker 2: They're doing things all the time. And it goes back
- 27:25Speaker 2: to being crawling around on the floor and all that stuff.
- 27:27Speaker 2: You're building up all these muscles that's stimulating your your
- 27:31Speaker 2: your bowels, your intestines, your your core, your everything. You're
- 27:37Speaker 2: using everything from a different perspective, and it's like we're
- 27:39Speaker 2: talking about all this stuff in the last video. I
- 27:41Speaker 2: don't think. I think after I got off the phone,
- 27:43Speaker 2: I'm i mean off the line, I'm going to probably
- 27:45Speaker 2: crawl around or for a while. Why not, you know,
- 27:48Speaker 2: what I mean, it's like, it's why not. But we're
- 27:52Speaker 2: all growing and learning, and that's paying attention to everybody.
- 27:54Speaker 2: We're how we're evolving, and it's like it's awesome because
- 27:57Speaker 2: we know we've we've gone through a lot of stuff,
- 28:00Speaker 2: so we can look back and love someone anyways because
- 28:02Speaker 2: they're going through stuff right now and it's okay. It's okay,
- 28:06Speaker 2: and we still get wrapped up in it sometimes, but
- 28:08Speaker 2: not like before because we've when you're paying attention, when
- 28:13Speaker 2: you have awareness, you're paying attention to how you feel,
- 28:14Speaker 2: and it's like you just don't kind of hang out
- 28:16Speaker 2: in those areas very long because it's almost like I
- 28:19Speaker 2: would use the hot stove analogy. Right as soon as
- 28:22Speaker 2: you get closer, you start feeling the heat and you're like,
- 28:25Speaker 2: I don't really like it like that unless you're cold.
- 28:27Speaker 2: You want to get a little bit closer more than
- 28:28Speaker 2: those hands up. But usually it's like, no, that doesn't
- 28:32Speaker 2: feel good, and we're more aware of that than we
- 28:34Speaker 2: would have been before.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's awesome. We've covered a lot of stuff in
- 28:41Speaker 1: this video, even though it's a short one, and so
- 28:43Speaker 1: I'd recommend that you go back and listen and just
- 28:47Speaker 1: know we always every day have plenty of opportunity to
- 28:51Speaker 1: practice a lot of this stuff. Okay, all of this stuff.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Every day, every single day.
- 29:00Speaker 1: So just ease and grace. I like to use those
- 29:03Speaker 1: words because we do need to have ease and grace
- 29:06Speaker 1: for ourselves as we're learning something new, learning to stand
- 29:09Speaker 1: in our power, have our confidence, use our voice, listen
- 29:12Speaker 1: to our intuition, listen to our navigation system. It takes practice,
- 29:18Speaker 1: and the more you practice, the better you get. And
- 29:20Speaker 1: so here I am, you know, thirty years later into
- 29:23Speaker 1: my twenty year sorry, twenty years later into my healing
- 29:29Speaker 1: process and reprogramming process, and still practicing and still you know,
- 29:37Speaker 1: tripping and falling sometimes, and it's okay, it's okay. As
- 29:42Speaker 1: long as I'm okay with that within myself, it's okay.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So keep practicing. That's what I encourage you to do.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Keep practicing and have these conversations with other people. Plant
- 29:55Speaker 1: the seats, share the content, share the videos, send them
- 29:59Speaker 1: the link whenever you feel like other people could use
- 30:03Speaker 1: out of whether it's our videos or content that's similar
- 30:07Speaker 1: that's resonating with you. We know there's lots of people
- 30:10Speaker 1: on the planet that could benefit from this information, so
- 30:14Speaker 1: please take the time to share it. We're in Facebook, YouTube, Speaker,
- 30:21Speaker 1: Google podcasts, podcast, attic, iHeartRadio. We're on multiple platforms, so
- 30:27Speaker 1: it's pretty easy to find us. Leave comments and questions.
- 30:31Speaker 1: We come back to that at our earliest convenience. We
- 30:34Speaker 1: are not Johnny on the spot. We are not going
- 30:36Speaker 1: to respond within an hour or two hours. It might
- 30:39Speaker 1: be twelve hours, it might be twenty four hours. It's okay.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Just post it. We'll come back to you. It's okay.
- 30:48Speaker 1: So any final words, misbev.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Second guessing yourself hold you in a stuck place. So
- 30:56Speaker 2: start embracing and knowing that you're making the right decisions
- 30:59Speaker 2: in every moment. And if it wasn't the right decision,
- 31:03Speaker 2: it was a navigational decision. It was a decision that
- 31:06Speaker 2: you helped to learn more about yourself and more about
- 31:10Speaker 2: those gifts or those books that you have withinside of you.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Nice. I love it all right, my friends, Thank you
- 31:16Speaker 1: so much for hanging out with us. Tea time with
- 31:18Speaker 1: Amy and Bed and we'll see you next time. Bye.
