- 0:00Speaker 1: We are out of the gates on sport and state
- 0:03Speaker 1: presented by Hard Rock Bet.
- 0:05Speaker 2: He's Chad Withrow. I'm Jonathan Hutton.
- 0:06Speaker 1: This is Hutton and Withrow at sportandstate.com. Daily Wire streaming
- 0:10Speaker 1: their live YouTube at Hutton and Withrow and all the
- 0:13Speaker 1: social media platforms.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Chad, good morning to you, man. Good morning, Hunt.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Good to be with you here on a Thursday. Had
- 0:18Speaker 3: to think for a second what day of the week
- 0:20Speaker 3: it is. As we build to a football weekend, Every
- 0:25Speaker 3: day is equally as glorious, Hutton. And now that the
- 0:28Speaker 3: weather is finally turning cooler, it's even more glorious.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it feels great. You're right. It feels like football now, right?
- 0:35Speaker 1: We get all the seasons during the college NFL season.
- 0:38Speaker 1: So we've got a quarterback who dines in the nude
- 0:42Speaker 1: with his family. We're going to get to the NC
- 0:44Speaker 1: State quarterback. He talked with the media. We'll get his
- 0:47Speaker 1: take on what happened at the end of that Vanderbilt game.
- 0:50Speaker 1: One big thing on every NFL game for week three
- 0:52Speaker 1: across the NFL regular season is And Jared Stillman joins
- 0:56Speaker 1: us a bit later in today's program. But first, Chad,
- 0:59Speaker 1: you're headed to Knoxville. Clay, Sporting State will be there.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And so will President Donald Trump. Headed to Tennessee and
- 1:07Speaker 1: Texas on Saturday. Clay broke this story. President Trump attending
- 1:13Speaker 1: the game at Neyland Stadium. It was already going to
- 1:15Speaker 1: be early kickoff. And maybe, I know we were talking
- 1:20Speaker 1: about the atmosphere. Much different in the morning compared to...
- 1:24Speaker 1: the the evening but now the fans are encouraged to
- 1:27Speaker 1: get to the stadium much earlier because of the president
- 1:31Speaker 1: coming to town this is going to be quite the
- 1:32Speaker 1: atmosphere despite the early start.
- 1:35Speaker 3: This may be the one time though where the game
- 1:37Speaker 3: being early is actually a slight advantage of having the
- 1:40Speaker 3: president there because if the game was at 6 30
- 1:42Speaker 3: 7 30 eastern time let's say hunting in the evening
- 1:45Speaker 3: there would be this full day's worth of anxiety from
- 1:50Speaker 3: fans about when should i walk into the stadium How
- 1:53Speaker 3: should I go in? Is that Air Force One that
- 1:55Speaker 3: just flew overhead? Did you guys see the Secret Service
- 1:58Speaker 3: with machine guns walking by? Everybody would be on edge
- 2:02Speaker 3: about a president being in the venue, in the vicinity
- 2:05Speaker 3: of it. When's he coming in? When's the interstate going
- 2:08Speaker 3: to be shut down if he flies in with people
- 2:11Speaker 3: driving in? I think with it being more of an
- 2:13Speaker 3: early morning thing and we're going to the game, I'm
- 2:17Speaker 3: preparing to walk into that place at 9 a.m.
- 2:20Speaker 2: If need be, right? 9 a.m.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Eastern time to make sure you're in with no problems.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Getting to the stadium early is a key.
- 2:29Speaker 2: For this one.
- 2:29Speaker 3: A buddy of mine texted this morning and said the
- 2:33Speaker 3: moronic Tennessee fans are are going to show up 30
- 2:36Speaker 3: minutes before kickoff and not even know that the president
- 2:38Speaker 3: is there because they're not online at all. I think
- 2:40Speaker 3: he referred to it as Ricky and Judy from Big
- 2:42Speaker 3: Sandy are going to walk in 20 minutes before kickoff
- 2:45Speaker 3: and be pissed off they can't get to their seat
- 2:47Speaker 3: because the president's in attendance. That's why we're here, Hutton,
- 2:50Speaker 3: to inform the public, inform Tennessee fans.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Hopefully you're watching this show, even.
- 2:54Speaker 3: If you're not on any other online outlet, and you
- 2:57Speaker 3: know now that President Donald J. Trump will be in
- 3:00Speaker 3: Knoxville on Saturday. Thanks to Clay Travis for breaking the story. And, yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 3: it's going.
- 3:06Speaker 2: To be wild.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And so I'm thinking to myself, whenever Clay had the
- 3:10Speaker 1: story last night, well, college game day ends right at kickoff. So,
- 3:17Speaker 1: I mean, what's the crowd going to be like for
- 3:18Speaker 1: game day? Are they going to move into the stadium
- 3:20Speaker 1: earlier than usual because of this? I mean, the logistics
- 3:23Speaker 1: of this fascinate me because of Secret Service, the extra security.
- 3:27Speaker 2: All of it.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And I understand why all that goes on. I'm not
- 3:29Speaker 1: against it. But the early morning, I guess the stadium
- 3:33Speaker 1: is going to open a bit earlier. Adam Sparks with
- 3:37Speaker 1: the Knoxville New Sentinel and formerly of the Tennessean, I
- 3:42Speaker 1: guess of the Tennessean as well, has a story about
- 3:45Speaker 1: the adjustments to game day. But I don't see, while
- 3:49Speaker 1: scrolling through this, if the gates are opening earlier, although
- 3:52Speaker 1: fans are encouraged to get there earlier.
- 3:55Speaker 2: They are. That was just.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Announced right before we went on air hunting. 30 minutes earlier,
- 4:00Speaker 3: they're going to open. Usually two and a half hours
- 4:02Speaker 3: before kick. It's now opening at three hours before kick.
- 4:06Speaker 2: 9 a.m. That's like, okay, you're going to get there
- 4:07Speaker 2: right as the gates open. That's what you're saying. I
- 4:09Speaker 2: get it now.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm saying 9 a.m. That's three hours early. That's
- 4:15Speaker 3: when I would probably get there. This may be the
- 4:18Speaker 3: soberest crowd at Neyland Stadium history, Chad. Yeah, I mean,
- 4:22Speaker 3: the pessimist would argue.
- 4:28Speaker 3: This makes the crowd even less drunk and rowdy for
- 4:31Speaker 3: the game with having to get there earlier.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Look, I'm with you.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Just because of the morning. So have you been to a–
- 4:38Speaker 1: you and I went to the Army-Navy game. This was–
- 4:43Speaker 1: what year was this when we all went, you and
- 4:45Speaker 1: me and Paul?
- 4:46Speaker 2: So you, me, and Paul went, I want to say,
- 4:49Speaker 2: in 2013.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Or 2014. It was 2014 or 2013. I went with
- 4:56Speaker 3: Brent Doherty the year before. And that was 2012 or 2013.
- 5:00Speaker 3: And that year when I was with Brent Doherty, that
- 5:03Speaker 3: was the year that Barack Obama and Joe Biden, president,
- 5:06Speaker 3: vice president, were at the game.
- 5:08Speaker 2: They did the coin toss.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And they went up into the booth and did an
- 5:11Speaker 3: interview with CBS during the game. That's the only problem
- 5:15Speaker 3: I had with it was I got stuck in a
- 5:17Speaker 3: stairwell trying to walk back up from the field. to
- 5:21Speaker 3: the press box for like 30 minutes because while the
- 5:24Speaker 3: president was there and while he was moving, no one
- 5:27Speaker 3: in the stadium moves. So it was just they had
- 5:30Speaker 3: actual military guarding the doors of each, and you're just
- 5:34Speaker 3: stuck in a stairwell with other media members until they
- 5:37Speaker 3: let you back in the press box once the president's out.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So, look, there's going to be issues surrounding this.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I would just tell anyone going to the game, just
- 5:46Speaker 3: mentally prepare for it. Get there earlier. Get there 45
- 5:50Speaker 3: minutes earlier. Get there an hour earlier. Whatever you feel
- 5:53Speaker 3: like you need to do. If you're staying in Knoxville,
- 5:55Speaker 3: which I think a lot of people are, especially judging
- 5:58Speaker 3: by how hard it is to get a reservation anywhere
- 6:00Speaker 3: in Knoxville on Friday night, I think everybody's getting there early.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Just make your walk to the stadium even earlier. This
- 6:06Speaker 3: will put a damper on the tailgating scene. Playing at
- 6:10Speaker 3: noon put a damper on the tailgating scene either way,
- 6:12Speaker 3: but I think the tailgating for this game is going
- 6:14Speaker 3: to happen after the game. People are going to go
- 6:16Speaker 3: back to their tailgate spot and drink and have fun
- 6:20Speaker 3: and watch afternoon and evening games at that tailgating spot,
- 6:23Speaker 3: not before.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It's also going to be extremely cool, you know, like
- 6:28Speaker 1: to attend a game with the President of the United
- 6:30Speaker 1: States coming to the magnitude of it. I mean, President
- 6:34Speaker 1: Trump has embraced sports unlike any president in our history.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And the last game he attended, was it Alabama-Georgia when
- 6:42Speaker 1: Clay interviewed him? I think that was the last college game.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Clay did the interview there, right?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that was Alabama, Georgia in Tuscaloosa.
- 6:50Speaker 2: At halftime, I think, or right after halftime, in the
- 6:53Speaker 2: second half there.
- 6:54Speaker 1: But I've been to one presidential event, and it was
- 6:57Speaker 1: George H.W. Bush speaking at Austin Peay, and my dad
- 7:02Speaker 1: took me because he was working at Austin Peay at
- 7:04Speaker 1: the time. That's the only time I've been to a
- 7:07Speaker 1: presidential gathering like that. And Dan Quayle, he was endorsing
- 7:12Speaker 1: Dan Quayle.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to be wild.
- 7:17Speaker 3: And here's the other thing that people are speculating on,
- 7:19Speaker 3: and we will as well. How does College Game Day
- 7:22Speaker 3: handle this?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah, right. Because they took a lot of heat over
- 7:25Speaker 2: Ted Cruz.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Do they respond to the heat they took over Ted
- 7:29Speaker 3: Cruz and say, we're not going to do anything remotely
- 7:33Speaker 3: political and we know how people are divided on the president,
- 7:36Speaker 3: so we're not even going to do that? Or do
- 7:38Speaker 3: they allow the president on their airwaves? Let me give
- 7:42Speaker 3: you my thoughts on this. They're going to allow the
- 7:44Speaker 3: president on their airwaves. If the president wants to come
- 7:46Speaker 3: on college game day, he's going to get as much
- 7:49Speaker 3: time as he wants to talk about whatever he wants.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And I'm pretty sure what he wants to talk about.
- 7:54Speaker 3: is the Protect College Sports Act, which is going to
- 7:57Speaker 3: be signed on Friday.
- 7:58Speaker 2: It's the same thing that Ted Cruz talked about.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Now, will the president delineate from the talking points on
- 8:04Speaker 3: the College Sports Act more than even Ted Cruz did?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 8:08Speaker 3: He's going to get up there and he's going to
- 8:09Speaker 3: start talking about different things and probably make fun of someone.
- 8:13Speaker 3: over the course of the interview because that's what he
- 8:15Speaker 3: does when he does interviews. But it's not going to
- 8:18Speaker 3: stop ESPN from having the president on their show. And
- 8:23Speaker 3: that's what they should do if the president wants to
- 8:25Speaker 3: come on their show. People that are upset about that,
- 8:28Speaker 3: they really need a reality check.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Also, we're talking about the College Sports Act. Why wouldn't
- 8:36Speaker 1: you have the President of the United States on to
- 8:38Speaker 1: discuss this? And he's got one of the heads of
- 8:42Speaker 1: the committee of the board that he's put together and
- 8:46Speaker 1: Nick Saban sitting there. Absolutely, they should have him on
- 8:50Speaker 1: if he wants to come on. This is the biggest story.
- 8:54Speaker 1: This is all we talk about year-round for the last
- 8:56Speaker 1: three years is what's going to happen with college sports.
- 9:00Speaker 2: College football is out of hand. It's crazy.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It still feels like Saturday, but it needs to be guardrails.
- 9:08Speaker 1: This is the topic, and you've got the guy.
- 9:11Speaker 2: The guy. Available to come on your set? Yes.
- 9:17Speaker 1: 100% you have him on. And I would say that
- 9:19Speaker 1: for any president. Any president is welcome on Hunt to Withdraw.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, any president. Any living.
- 9:26Speaker 3: a current or former president is allowed on this show
- 9:28Speaker 3: at any time. We'll give them the platform to talk
- 9:31Speaker 3: at any point. Now, what this will also do is
- 9:34Speaker 3: it will only raise the opposition, uh, to the protect
- 9:37Speaker 3: college sports act, right? Because anytime the president speaks on it,
- 9:41Speaker 3: then everybody who's on the opposite side of everything the
- 9:44Speaker 3: president says is going to be even harder on the
- 9:46Speaker 3: opposite side of the protect college sports act. And, Oh,
- 9:49Speaker 3: you're not factoring in the athletes and you're not doing this. And,
- 9:53Speaker 3: and I've seen now there's, there's uh there's parts of
- 9:56Speaker 3: it where they're trying to cap coaching salaries too like
- 9:59Speaker 3: you cap everything else at five million dollars no coach
- 10:02Speaker 3: can make more than five million dollars on it so
- 10:04Speaker 3: there's going to be a lot of that that goes
- 10:06Speaker 3: with it but from a programming decision standpoint if the
- 10:09Speaker 3: president is is in town and is offering to come
- 10:12Speaker 3: on your your show you do it it's likely to
- 10:15Speaker 3: happen in that hour window where they're on the field
- 10:17Speaker 3: right where he's down the field Now, here's something I
- 10:20Speaker 3: would ask.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Is he the guest picker?
- 10:23Speaker 3: I mean, if President Trump says, I want to be
- 10:26Speaker 3: the celebrity guest picker, I think this is fun. I
- 10:28Speaker 3: want to pick college football games on Saturday. Do you
- 10:32Speaker 3: say yes to that, Hutton?
- 10:35Speaker 2: Yes. Yes. Of course. Right. He's the president who has
- 10:41Speaker 2: embraced sports, you know, like.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And I realize that 99% of the people in the
- 10:46Speaker 1: House are going to be Donald Trump supporters. I mean,
- 10:49Speaker 1: that goes without saying, based on where he is. Same
- 10:53Speaker 1: thing in Tuscaloosa, anywhere he goes. But he's embraced sports
- 10:58Speaker 1: to a level that we've never seen from the White House,
- 11:01Speaker 1: from D.C.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I love it.
- 11:04Speaker 1: It brings the level of magnitude, the level of importance,
- 11:09Speaker 1: the level of specialness. to that can't-miss atmosphere.
- 11:18Speaker 2: You remember when.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I remember specifically Alabama, Georgia, Clay interviewing Donald Trump and
- 11:24Speaker 1: just the stories of that. And what he was talking
- 11:26Speaker 1: about was sports. He's talking about the NFL kickoff rule
- 11:30Speaker 1: in that interview.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I love it.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And I think he'll keep it to sports. But for
- 11:35Speaker 1: the most part, Clay did in that interview.
- 11:36Speaker 2: It was great. It was different. That's why I like it.
- 11:40Speaker 2: It's different.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Than what we hear normally. And sure, he can go
- 11:45Speaker 1: off script or off topic.
- 11:49Speaker 2: He's going to be off his talking points at some point.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I think that's any politician.
- 11:53Speaker 3: He's going to start making fun of crazy blue states
- 11:56Speaker 3: at some point. If you allow him to pick games,
- 11:59Speaker 3: he's going to pick based on which state is red
- 12:01Speaker 3: and which state is blue. And any blue state he's
- 12:03Speaker 3: not going to pick in the games, which will be
- 12:05Speaker 3: funny with some of them.
- 12:07Speaker 2: New topic.
- 12:09Speaker 3: New segment on the show, Hutton, that I just jotted
- 12:11Speaker 3: down that we should call Same Energy. Okay, Same Energy
- 12:14Speaker 3: is when you can foresee criticism from one side or
- 12:18Speaker 3: another that was not there when their side was doing
- 12:22Speaker 3: it or on that side.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I want to bring the same energy to it.
- 12:25Speaker 3: So for the crowd that says presidents shouldn't be at
- 12:28Speaker 3: a college football game, presidents shouldn't be talking about sports,
- 12:30Speaker 3: President has bigger things to do. I want people who
- 12:33Speaker 3: are saying that right now in their mind that if
- 12:36Speaker 3: you had the same energy, it's fine. If you didn't
- 12:38Speaker 3: have the same energy, you need to look in the mirror.
- 12:40Speaker 3: I want you to have the same energy you had
- 12:43Speaker 3: whenever Barack Obama did his college basketball tournament bracket on
- 12:47Speaker 3: ESPN every year and filled it out for America to see.
- 12:50Speaker 3: when they did that. I want the same energy. Here's
- 12:52Speaker 3: my same energy on both. I don't care about either one.
- 12:55Speaker 3: I enjoyed seeing Barack Obama talk about college basketball because
- 12:59Speaker 3: it seemed like he was actually a fan of basketball
- 13:01Speaker 3: when he was picking the games and knew something about it.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I enjoy when the president talks about college football.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Even sometimes I don't know how much he knows about
- 13:08Speaker 3: college football.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's still entertaining to watch him try to talk about it.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Same energy, Hutton. Same energy.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I just want to know who he's picking between Tennessee
- 13:17Speaker 1: and Texas in this game.
- 13:19Speaker 3: That's a tough one because one's got a bigger population.
- 13:21Speaker 3: If we're talking about the voting base, yeah, no, that
- 13:25Speaker 3: could be fun. Also, who will be in the suite
- 13:27Speaker 3: with him? Who will be in the box? That's the
- 13:29Speaker 3: other topic we could discuss. Morgan Wallen probably will be
- 13:32Speaker 3: in the box with him. I don't know about Peyton Manning.
- 13:35Speaker 3: He stays away from politics. Clay Travis would absolutely be
- 13:39Speaker 3: in the box with him. There's no doubt about that.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Of the dream scenarios of what could happen on Saturday
- 13:45Speaker 3: with ESPN and Donald Trump and I think the most
- 13:50Speaker 3: likely scenario is he goes on and just talks about
- 13:53Speaker 3: the Protect College Sports Act at some point that final
- 13:55Speaker 3: hour with the game day set. The most fun part
- 13:59Speaker 3: of it for me would be if he stood in
- 14:01Speaker 3: front of Ayers Hall and tried the Pat McAfee field
- 14:04Speaker 3: goal challenge and had.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Kirk Herbstreit holding for him. That would be my dream.
- 14:09Speaker 3: If I'm an ESPN producer, I'm like, can we get
- 14:12Speaker 3: the president to attempt the extra point field goal?
- 14:15Speaker 2: On national television. That would be a sight to behold.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I think you nailed it, though. If he joins, it
- 14:21Speaker 1: will be in the stadium. That's a great point. Man,
- 14:26Speaker 1: that would be unbelievable, though, to see him try to
- 14:28Speaker 1: kick a field goal.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Also, are you going to transition from the president to
- 14:34Speaker 3: Lee Ann Morgan or Kevin Hart to do this?
- 14:39Speaker 2: How's that going to work?
- 14:40Speaker 3: Because that final hour gets pretty tight when they have
- 14:42Speaker 3: 20 minutes of picks at the end.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Because if he's going to join the set then, it's like,
- 14:47Speaker 2: thank you, Mr. President.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Coming up next, Morgan Wallen tells us who's going to
- 14:51Speaker 3: win the Iowa-Michigan game.
- 14:53Speaker 2: That's next on College Game Day.
- 14:55Speaker 1: This is like watching one of the World Cup games
- 14:58Speaker 1: where they can't get enough of the celebs. President Trump,
- 15:01Speaker 1: the Mannings, watching Arch play against Tennessee. You mentioned some
- 15:05Speaker 1: of the other people who will be in attendance. There
- 15:07Speaker 1: will be a ton of people. Now imagine if this
- 15:11Speaker 1: was a 7.30 kick. It would be incredible.
- 15:15Speaker 2: The sights.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I mean, Neyland at night to begin with for any game,
- 15:19Speaker 3: but the sights of that game would be outstanding. It's
- 15:22Speaker 3: like watching the Chiefs game when Tom Cruise just magically
- 15:25Speaker 3: appeared next to Taylor Swift in the box.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Remember that, their first game? I'm like, what is Tom Cruise?
- 15:30Speaker 3: And then you later see that he went on the
- 15:32Speaker 3: New Heights Kelsey podcast, was probably a part of it.
- 15:35Speaker 3: But that was wild to see. I mean, the amount
- 15:39Speaker 3: of people and celebrities that are going to be at
- 15:41Speaker 3: this game on Saturday.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Is next level. And here's also what we know.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Since the lame-ass media neutered Arch Manning by complaining about
- 15:52Speaker 3: him laughing at a meme, and now he's boring as
- 15:54Speaker 3: hell in every interview, we know that he's not going
- 15:57Speaker 3: to have anything to say about it. Can you imagine
- 15:59Speaker 3: now when Texas people or anyone asks him about, hey,
- 16:01Speaker 3: the president was at your game today. What do you
- 16:03Speaker 3: think about that? He's going to have no smile. He's
- 16:05Speaker 3: going to give a four-word answer. He's going to Marshawn
- 16:08Speaker 3: Lynch it the whole way through because the media effectively
- 16:12Speaker 3: neutered arch manning over over this over a stupid controversy.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah it's it's it sucks it sucks thank you it's.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Sad because he was a good quote you know he
- 16:23Speaker 3: was actually good and lively and now he won't be
- 16:26Speaker 3: yeah he had a personality he still does but now
- 16:29Speaker 3: it's you know clamped i saw eli uh asked about
- 16:32Speaker 3: it and he he said yeah i mean look you
- 16:35Speaker 3: live and you learn but He's like, it's easy to
- 16:38Speaker 3: feel like, hey, these guys are my buddies. I see
- 16:40Speaker 3: them every day. When it's the media and you joke
- 16:43Speaker 3: around with them, you talk to them like a normal
- 16:44Speaker 3: human being. And then the moment that they're not your buddy,
- 16:48Speaker 3: that you realize that, you retreat. You go back into
- 16:52Speaker 3: a shell and you're not going to say anything anymore
- 16:54Speaker 3: because you feel like you got duped by the media.
- 16:57Speaker 3: And I think that's kind of what happened with Arch
- 16:59Speaker 3: Manning in that.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And that's why we only get these guys. We already were.
- 17:02Speaker 1: But we've created a deal where we only get these
- 17:06Speaker 1: players and coaches behind a podium.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Speaking to everybody.
- 17:10Speaker 3: And now even with a podium where Arch was fun,
- 17:13Speaker 3: he's no longer fun, which sucks.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Chad, what won't suck is the party.
- 17:19Speaker 1: The Dixieland Delight Friday night coming up at Wagon Wheel,
- 17:24Speaker 1: the night before President Trump flies into Knoxville.
- 17:27Speaker 2: You guys got a great show planned. Look at this.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Love this graphic.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Dixieland Alight Friday night. We're going to be at Wagon
- 17:34Speaker 3: Wheel in the Old City. Thanks to our buddy Mark
- 17:36Speaker 3: Jernigan for setting that up. We've got Tennessee star catcher.
- 17:39Speaker 3: We're talking about NIL money. They're spending NIL money in
- 17:42Speaker 3: the SEC in baseball, too. Those guys are making some dough. Now,
- 17:45Speaker 3: we'll talk to Levi Clark about that, a Vols baseball star.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And then we've got Kelly Stewart, Ariel Epstein with me,
- 17:52Speaker 3: host of the show. Hutton, you're going to be missed
- 17:54Speaker 3: this weekend. I know you've got more important things to
- 17:56Speaker 3: attend to. But we're going to miss you in Knoxville,
- 18:00Speaker 3: but it's going to be a great show Friday night.
- 18:02Speaker 3: And a little birdie told me that our fearless leader,
- 18:06Speaker 3: Clay Travis, may actually be attending and be on air
- 18:09Speaker 3: with us as well because his schedule has now changed.
- 18:13Speaker 3: So he may be in on Friday night. I'll say
- 18:16Speaker 3: no more, but we're hoping that he will join us
- 18:18Speaker 3: on Dixieland Alive Friday night. Friday night, 8.15 Eastern Time Live,
- 18:22Speaker 3: 7.15 Central. We're going to have a heck of a
- 18:25Speaker 3: time at Wagon Wheel. And if any celebrities roll through
- 18:28Speaker 3: Wagon Wheel, then we'll pop them on mic and.
- 18:30Speaker 2: We'll talk to them.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Maybe we even get another Drunken Drew episode in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- 18:35Speaker 2: You never know what's going to happen on that show.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Maybe you have a new guy, like Alcoholic Adam. Maybe
- 18:43Speaker 1: my own alumni base starts to go after me for
- 18:46Speaker 1: daring to interview some drunken 22-year-old that stumbles up on
- 18:50Speaker 1: our set.
- 18:51Speaker 3: How dare you? They're just trying to have fun. No
- 18:54Speaker 3: more cameras in bars.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Oh, man. This guy was fighting off the street. You
- 18:59Speaker 2: pulled him in there and forced him on air.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Yeah, Drew, who interrupted an interview that Brecca was doing
- 19:04Speaker 3: on the street to start the night, then walks in
- 19:07Speaker 3: and I asked Brecca who the drunkest.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Person she encountered was. She's describing him. There he is.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Then he somehow just appears. But like a magical creature
- 19:16Speaker 3: in between us that we interviewed. Then he comes back
- 19:18Speaker 3: for the next segment. But yeah, it's our fault. We've
- 19:21Speaker 3: got to find that video of drunk Drew on the streets.
- 19:24Speaker 2: We've got to find that.
- 19:25Speaker 3: By the way, for people not reading sarcasm right now,
- 19:28Speaker 3: I'm being sarcastic about it being our fault.
- 19:31Speaker 2: We need subtitles, guys, on the show.
- 19:33Speaker 3: That's just Withrow and Hunt and sarcasm in parentheses as
- 19:38Speaker 3: we're talking about it.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Do the air quotes.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:41Speaker 2: It was all our fault. All of it. Everything was
- 19:44Speaker 2: our fault.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Coming up, I don't know how this is a crazy.
- 19:50Speaker 1: story after the weekend, but there's a quarterback who told
- 19:54Speaker 1: RG3 that he dines in the nude with his family sometimes.
- 19:59Speaker 1: We dive into that crazy story next here on Huntley
- 20:02Speaker 1: Withrow presented by Hard Rock Bet. It is Hutton &
- 20:04Speaker 1: Withrow presented by Hard Rock Bets. We love being partnered

- 21:06Speaker 1: And one of the more bizarre on-air stories you'll hear,
- 21:10Speaker 1: RG3 is the analyst for the broadcast for BYU's football game,
- 21:16Speaker 1: where Bear Brockmire's the quarterback, and this goes viral. because
- 21:21Speaker 1: of everyone using their imagination as RG3 tells the story of,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and just very nonchalant, it just happens to show the
- 21:30Speaker 1: family in the crowd. And here's Robert Griffin III claiming
- 21:34Speaker 1: that Bachmeier told him that his family does something weird
- 21:37Speaker 1: over dinner.
- 21:39Speaker 5: And that was so cool. I can tell mom looks
- 21:41Speaker 5: like she's taking notes there. We should ask Bear about
- 21:43Speaker 5: that next time we get a BYU game.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But he told us that at the dinners, you.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Know, sometimes they just take their clothes off. And they
- 21:52Speaker 5: walk around naked.
- 21:54Speaker 2: You make it at your dinners.
- 21:55Speaker 5: Connor, with the family.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Do I have to answer that?
- 21:57Speaker 5: You don't have to answer that because I don't think
- 21:59Speaker 5: anybody listening right now really kind of does that. America,
- 22:03Speaker 5: it's up to your imagination.
- 22:04Speaker 2: But the Bachmeyers.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Dining in the nude. Stripped down for the meet and greet.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I have so many questions. So many questions.
- 22:15Speaker 3: I love the camera pan away from the women in
- 22:18Speaker 3: the stands the moment RG3 starts to talk about them
- 22:20Speaker 3: in the nude at family dinners.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Like, oh, got to get away from that.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Whoever the play-by-play guy, his reaction to it, very uncomfortable.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Because it's one of those where if you're a broadcast partner,
- 22:31Speaker 3: we've been in situations like this, I'm sure, where the
- 22:34Speaker 3: broadcast partner starts to say something, it's like, Are you
- 22:37Speaker 3: sure you want to say that? Like a conversation you
- 22:39Speaker 3: had with someone that seems like private info that someone
- 22:42Speaker 3: shared with you, maybe don't say that on air.
- 22:44Speaker 2: That feels like.
- 22:46Speaker 3: What RG3' s broadcast partner was thinking in the moment. And
- 22:49Speaker 3: RG3 even just rolls them further under the bus and saying,
- 22:53Speaker 3: that's up for our viewers out there. If you think
- 22:55Speaker 3: that's normal, I'm going to go ahead and guess it's
- 22:57Speaker 3: not because not a single one of you do that.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Guys, let's get back to.
- 23:00Speaker 3: The action on the field and away from the action
- 23:02Speaker 3: at the Bachmeier family dinner table.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I have.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I have no... This is not a thing, right? Does
- 23:11Speaker 2: this happen in other families?
- 23:13Speaker 1: What was that? This is so bizarre. This may be
- 23:18Speaker 1: even crazier to me. Is that story, that antidote that
- 23:22Speaker 1: RG3 plugged in there. This was two weeks ago, Chad.
- 23:28Speaker 1: This was the BYU-Arizona game. And it's just now gone viral.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I don't know how in this day and age... that
- 23:35Speaker 1: this doesn't hit social media immediately. And he hasn't been
- 23:41Speaker 1: asked about it, nothing. His brother plays on the team
- 23:44Speaker 1: as well, on offense. I forget the position. But they haven't.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Been asked about it. They will be now.
- 23:51Speaker 1: And I can't wait until he actually addresses it and says,
- 23:56Speaker 1: we're kidding? What were you joking about? How did this
- 23:59Speaker 1: topic come up in the first place? Robert Griffin III
- 24:02Speaker 1: obviously thought it was legit. I'm taking his word for
- 24:05Speaker 1: it that the conversation was, yeah, we just dined in
- 24:08Speaker 1: the nude.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Bizarre.
- 24:11Speaker 3: We just had to start taking the clothes off. Don't
- 24:13Speaker 3: you think also it may be, look, we'll clip this.
- 24:17Speaker 2: We'll distribute it.
- 24:18Speaker 3: We'll get it out there because I feel like America
- 24:20Speaker 3: should be talking about this until we get more answers
- 24:23Speaker 3: on the Bachmeier family dining habits. Don't you feel like
- 24:27Speaker 3: even if this was all completely true, and Bear Bachmeier,
- 24:30Speaker 3: for whatever reason, felt comfortable enough with RG3 to tell
- 24:33Speaker 3: the story, that if I'm the family, that I'm releasing
- 24:38Speaker 3: a statement or saying something on social media, it's like,
- 24:41Speaker 3: we don't get completely nude. It was more a conversation
- 24:45Speaker 3: about we're comfortable with each other. We could take a
- 24:48Speaker 3: layer off or something. Can you explain this away in
- 24:52Speaker 3: some way That makes it where everyone's like, oh, okay.
- 24:56Speaker 3: But also, you don't want to make RG3 a complete
- 24:59Speaker 3: liar if in fact he's telling the truth about what
- 25:02Speaker 3: he said.
- 25:03Speaker 2: But if he is just.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Completely fabricating what was said... then what the heck was
- 25:07Speaker 3: that also from RG3? You've got to address this. I
- 25:12Speaker 3: don't know that anybody in the BYU press corps is
- 25:15Speaker 3: going to press Bear Bachmeier on this. Maybe they've been
- 25:18Speaker 3: told they can't ask about it.
- 25:20Speaker 2: But, Hutton, I.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Demand more answers about the nudist family of the Bachmeier's Just,
- 25:26Speaker 3: and also they don't show up to the dinner nude.
- 25:29Speaker 3: They just start taking clothes off during dinner. So is
- 25:31Speaker 3: this like an after appetizer thing? You start taking layers off.
- 25:35Speaker 3: How does this work exactly? Please, anybody in the YouTube
- 25:37Speaker 3: chat right now that's also a part of a nudist family,
- 25:40Speaker 3: will you explain to me how dinner time works?
- 25:43Speaker 1: I mean, I guess they wait for the, you know,
- 25:45Speaker 1: the main course, you know, the entree.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Okay.
- 25:48Speaker 2: It's dessert time, guys. Here we go. I don't know
- 25:51Speaker 2: if we can cue that video up again or not.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Mom's got a nice lemon meringue pie.
- 25:55Speaker 1: The way that he says this is delivered like it
- 25:59Speaker 1: just hit him. Like, oh, and yeah, by the way,
- 26:01Speaker 1: he told us at the dinner. His high-pitched voice, right?
- 26:04Speaker 1: He's like, here's a weird antidote about the Bachmeyers. Listen
- 26:10Speaker 1: to how he tells the story.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I think it's legit, Chad.
- 26:13Speaker 5: That was so cool. I can tell mom looks like
- 26:15Speaker 5: she's taking notes there. We should ask her about that
- 26:18Speaker 5: next time we get a BYU game.
- 26:20Speaker 2: But he told us that at the.
- 26:21Speaker 5: Dinners, you know, sometimes they just take their clothes off.
- 26:26Speaker 2: And they walk around naked.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Are you naked at your dinners, Connor, with the family?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Do I have to answer that?
- 26:32Speaker 5: You don't have to answer that because I don't think
- 26:33Speaker 5: anybody listening right now really kind.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Of does that.
- 26:36Speaker 5: America, it's up to your imagination.
- 26:38Speaker 2: But the Bachmeyers.
- 26:40Speaker 1: What would be the point, though? That's what I'm trying
- 26:42Speaker 1: to figure out. Walk around naked. Are you going swimming?
- 26:51Speaker 1: I mean, I'm at a loss for words. You're right
- 26:55Speaker 1: about the camera switch. And back to Bachmeier's performance. You're
- 27:01Speaker 1: right about the camera switch immediately.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, because America, it's up to your imagination. You
- 27:06Speaker 3: don't want to be saying that also while it's showing you.
- 27:08Speaker 3: The women that are in question. I'm guessing the mom
- 27:10Speaker 3: had the kind of cowboy hat on with the tassels,
- 27:13Speaker 3: and that was a sister to the left.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I guess so. Of Bachmeier.
- 27:16Speaker 3: This brings up my favorite game during the draft is
- 27:19Speaker 3: Sister or Girlfriend.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Sister or Girlfriend. That we like to play.
- 27:22Speaker 3: They show the girl with the mom, and you have
- 27:23Speaker 3: to guess whether it's the sister or the girlfriend. Or
- 27:26Speaker 3: sometimes mom or sister.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Or mom or girlfriend. Or that. In some cases with
- 27:31Speaker 2: some of these guys and their moms. Yes.
- 27:34Speaker 3: A very exciting and fun game. Mom, girlfriend, or sister.
- 27:38Speaker 3: is the next level of the game that we're talking about.
- 27:41Speaker 3: When you watch a game on, I guess that was
- 27:43Speaker 3: on Fox or FS1?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Fox, yeah. One of the two.
- 27:46Speaker 3: I don't know if it was Big Fox or FS1,
- 27:48Speaker 3: but when you're watching a game there, you've got to
- 27:50Speaker 3: play nude or not when they show the family in
- 27:52Speaker 3: terms of dining. I never thought that would be a thing, Hutton,
- 27:55Speaker 3: but here we are talking about Bear Bachmeier and his
- 27:59Speaker 3: family stripping during the game.
- 28:03Speaker 1: It looks like main college football for Fox is what
- 28:06Speaker 1: this looks like for me. Based on the screenshot I'm
- 28:08Speaker 1: looking at. It all looks very similar, but yeah. Hey,
- 28:14Speaker 1: coming up, C.J.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Bailey.
- 28:17Speaker 1: When the play was happening after the first few times
- 28:21Speaker 1: we saw the replay, the game was over. Chad and
- 28:23Speaker 1: I are at the tailgate in the Grove at Ole Miss.
- 28:26Speaker 1: And Chad said it first. He said, man, I feel
- 28:29Speaker 1: horrible for this guy. And I was like, yeah, yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I can totally get that feeling too. Well, he speaks
- 28:35Speaker 1: to the media when we come back. here on Hunting
- 28:37Speaker 1: With Row. It's Hunting With Row, presented by Hard Rock Bet.

- 29:48Speaker 2: to make alone.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Withrow can speak very, very fast. He does speak
- 29:54Speaker 1: in tongues over here. I can speak in tongues sometimes.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Um, Man, Vanderbilt and that play, the fumble, strip fumble,
- 30:04Speaker 1: sack recovery in the end zone for the touchdown, the
- 30:08Speaker 1: game winner with the extra point to win by four.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Spread was three and a half, by the way. Chad, C.J.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Bailey, we mentioned we feel awful for him. He was
- 30:17Speaker 1: playing great. Now this is the moment that we will
- 30:23Speaker 1: think of. He was asked about that and about the play.
- 30:27Speaker 1: And what exactly happened?
- 30:30Speaker 4: So, you know, end of the game, you know, I just,
- 30:33Speaker 4: you know, was trying to, you know, get all the
- 30:34Speaker 4: clock out.
- 30:35Speaker 2: You know, that was my thought. And, you know, I'm
- 30:37Speaker 2: just running. The biggest thing was just hold the ball, bro.
- 30:40Speaker 2: That was the biggest thing.
- 30:41Speaker 4: And I was just trying to run around, make a play,
- 30:43Speaker 4: being competitive.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Like, that's who I am. I'm a competitive guy.
- 30:46Speaker 4: You know, and I was just competing until the final second.
- 30:49Speaker 2: And, you know, it happens. You know, I follow the ball.
- 30:52Speaker 4: You know, I'm going to pick myself.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Up and, you know, keep going. What did the coaches
- 30:55Speaker 2: tell you to do before the play?
- 30:57Speaker 4: You know, it was a lot of communication, you know,
- 30:59Speaker 4: with the coaches and us. But, you know, they told
- 31:02Speaker 4: me a lot of things. Like Coach Lawrence said, we
- 31:06Speaker 4: worked the play a couple times, but, like, never, like,
- 31:08Speaker 4: in that situation. Like, that was my first time ever
- 31:10Speaker 4: in that situation. And, you know, it didn't go the
- 31:14Speaker 4: way I wanted it to. You know, I fumbled the ball.
- 31:15Speaker 2: It is what it is. We ain't got to move forward.
- 31:18Speaker 2: We re-watched the film. Let's move on, y'all.
- 31:25Speaker 1: He handled it very well. He handled it very well. Chad,
- 31:29Speaker 1: what happened is exactly what we expected. Staring at the clock,
- 31:32Speaker 1: trying to run the clock out. He's never been in
- 31:35Speaker 1: that situation. He's clearly directed to do that. He's coached
- 31:39Speaker 1: to do that on the sideline. They take the delay
- 31:41Speaker 1: of the game penalty on purpose to back it up
- 31:44Speaker 1: into the end zone itself. Just all around, what just
- 31:49Speaker 1: a horrendous, horrendous decision in the moment where NC State
- 31:54Speaker 1: snags defeat from the jaws of victory.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel bad for him.
- 32:00Speaker 3: I know Clay wrote that he was walking out of
- 32:02Speaker 3: that stadium and the elevator was broken at Vanderbilt, and
- 32:05Speaker 3: some of the NC State coaches were either on in
- 32:08Speaker 3: a different elevator or on the stairs, and he saw
- 32:11Speaker 3: all the coaches' faces coming down from the booth, and
- 32:13Speaker 3: he said, looks like everybody had just seen a ghost.
- 32:15Speaker 3: He said he legitimately felt bad for them leaving and
- 32:18Speaker 3: going down to the locker room after that game.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I mean, what is C.J. Bailey going to say?
- 32:23Speaker 3: Of all the things that he's going to say, that's
- 32:25Speaker 3: not the worst, but Hey, I'm just a competitor. I'm
- 32:28Speaker 3: playing out to the last second until there's zeros on
- 32:31Speaker 3: the clock, and I'm just running around trying to make plays.
- 32:34Speaker 3: The coaching point has to be you're not running around
- 32:37Speaker 3: in that situation. Everybody's saying, okay, just throw it 100
- 32:42Speaker 3: miles into the air and let the clock roll out.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I don't know that I would even risk that because
- 32:49Speaker 3: what if you've got a clock operator who's a little
- 32:51Speaker 3: slow to start it? What if they look back and
- 32:54Speaker 3: it hits with. 2 seconds left on the clock and
- 32:58Speaker 3: you give Vandy the ball at the one-yard line?
- 33:00Speaker 2: With a chance to win it right there, just go down.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Take the safety.
- 33:05Speaker 3: The whole thing has to be you're not standing up
- 33:07Speaker 3: trying to work the clock. The moment you get it,
- 33:10Speaker 3: you can take two steps towards the back, but the
- 33:12Speaker 3: moment you feel any pressure, the moment they have time
- 33:14Speaker 3: to run from the line on the end to you,
- 33:17Speaker 3: you need to get down and take a knee.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Do not take a hit.
- 33:20Speaker 3: It's not just hold onto the football with two hands.
- 33:22Speaker 3: It's don't put yourself in a position to even get hit.
- 33:25Speaker 3: And we will kick the ball off and do it
- 33:27Speaker 3: that way. With one second left if we have to.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I also don't get why they just don't snap it
- 33:32Speaker 1: from where they were. And he just takes off towards
- 33:35Speaker 1: the end zone. Instead of just taking the delay and then...
- 33:39Speaker 1: They're running all the clock out.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I get that.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But there's multiple ways to do this. Run around and
- 33:47Speaker 1: go down. And then take another snap and take off
- 33:51Speaker 1: towards the back of the end zone. The whole thing
- 33:53Speaker 1: is just bizarre about how this went down.
- 33:55Speaker 2: And also, can you.
- 33:57Speaker 1: What would that feel like getting on the bus going
- 33:59Speaker 1: back to the airport if you're him after the game?
- 34:02Speaker 2: I mean, terrible. If you're a teammate, what do you
- 34:04Speaker 2: tell him? Like, what are you thinking? It's crazy. Terrible. Also,
- 34:08Speaker 2: by the way, terrible, the SID lady. Oh, yeah. Come on.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Come on, y'all.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Move on from this topic. We're not talking about it.
- 34:17Speaker 3: I'm thinking, come on, lady. This is the only thing
- 34:20Speaker 3: America's talking about. In regards to NC State, the local
- 34:22Speaker 3: media has to be, and he's handling it fine. He's
- 34:25Speaker 3: not getting upset or mad at people asking about it.
- 34:27Speaker 3: He can keep answering questions about it. Hutton, there are
- 34:30Speaker 3: rare plays in sport that spawn a different way of
- 34:34Speaker 3: thinking in moments like that. This is one of those
- 34:37Speaker 3: that everyone's going to go back to this reference point of,
- 34:40Speaker 3: remember NC State Vandy. Remember NC State Vandy. If you're
- 34:43Speaker 3: around the goal line or you're in a situation to
- 34:44Speaker 3: take a safety shot, late.
- 34:46Speaker 2: In the game, how do you handle it? I'm kind
- 34:48Speaker 2: of with you now.
- 34:49Speaker 3: The more I think about it, it's almost better just
- 34:52Speaker 3: to get the snap and take off in a dead sprint.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Just take off. To the corner of the end zone.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Make them chase you.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Because if you're doing that, you're not going to get
- 35:00Speaker 3: caught from behind quick enough to cause a fumble. So
- 35:03Speaker 3: you can literally pay attention to the right side of
- 35:05Speaker 3: the line and start running towards the back. And the
- 35:07Speaker 3: moment they get right next to you, step out of
- 35:09Speaker 3: the back of the end zone. It probably goes to zero.
- 35:12Speaker 3: If he just takes off running to the corner of
- 35:14Speaker 3: the end zone at that point, you're going to take
- 35:16Speaker 3: a safety anyways.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Get away from the line. Don't stand there right next
- 35:20Speaker 2: to them.
- 35:20Speaker 3: When Vandy's got a punt block on, an 11-man punt block,
- 35:24Speaker 3: you've got a bunch of guys unblocked running.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Straight for you. Take off running. And if that guy
- 35:30Speaker 2: on the end is in your face as you're running,
- 35:32Speaker 2: just fall backwards. Do something. Hit the deck. Just don't
- 35:35Speaker 2: do that.
- 35:36Speaker 1: It was painful to watch. It's painful for me to
- 35:40Speaker 1: watch C.J. Bailey talk about it. Yeah, and just malpractice
- 35:44Speaker 1: from the coach's perspective, too. Chad, coming up, we've got
- 35:48Speaker 1: one big thing for every NFL game, starting with tonight's
- 35:52Speaker 1: matchup on Thursday Night Football, Falcons and Packers. We'll tell
- 35:56Speaker 1: you about the spread, why it's so close on Thursday night,
- 36:01Speaker 1: or is it close? Maybe you want to take Green Bay.
- 36:08Speaker 1: What does Vegas know? That's next here on Hutton & Withrow.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Good morning to you, Hutton and Withrow, presented by Hard
- 36:13Speaker 1: Rock Bet. Hey, accidents don't wait for great timing. One
- 36:17Speaker 1: bad moment, a wreck, a fall, a doctor who wasn't
- 36:19Speaker 1: paying attention, and suddenly you're fighting an insurance company that
- 36:22Speaker 1: does this every single day. And that's why Clay started
- 36:24Speaker 1: Clay Travis Law. He's a Vanderbilt Law grad. He built
- 36:28Speaker 1: a firm around the idea that people deserve someone willing
- 36:30Speaker 1: to pay attention and ask the hard questions and push
- 36:33Speaker 1: back when things don't add up. experienced trial attorneys on
- 36:36Speaker 1: your side who bring the fight to corporations and insurers
- 36:39Speaker 1: based in Nashville and trusted across the country.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Car and truck wrecks, rideshare accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability,
- 36:46Speaker 3: product liability. If you were wrong, they want to hear
- 36:48Speaker 3: about it. And here's what they promise.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Honesty.
- 36:50Speaker 3: They don't sugarcoat your case. You'll hear what it's actually worth,
- 36:53Speaker 3: not what you want to hear. Case evaluation is free.
- 36:55Speaker 3: No charge, no pressure, no hassle. Just tell them your story.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Go to claytravislaw.com or call them at 877-222- 4444. That's claytravislaw.com.
- 37:06Speaker 3: No case is too big or too small. Chad, we've
- 37:09Speaker 3: got Jared Stillman coming up. Looking forward to that chat
- 37:11Speaker 3: with him, as always. First, though, one big thing on
- 37:14Speaker 3: every NFL game to get you ready for Week 3.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Just as we get started, who would you expect to
- 37:19Speaker 3: be the leader in passing yardage right now through two weeks?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Going to surprise you.
- 37:26Speaker 3: If I was expecting coming into the season, I would
- 37:30Speaker 3: expect Jared Goff. Matthew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes.
- 37:36Speaker 2: But who is it, Hud?
- 37:38Speaker 1: I would say Josh Allen. It's Tyler Shuck and Bryce Young.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Wow.
- 37:43Speaker 1: One and two right now in passing yardage.
- 37:45Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And Bryce Young is tied for the lead in touchdown passes.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Keep that in mind whenever the Panthers come up. Thursday
- 37:52Speaker 1: night football. We've got Falcons in Green Bay. 0-2 Atlanta.
- 37:57Speaker 1: 1-1 for Green Bay. Six-point spread here.
- 38:01Speaker 2: Five and a half. It's moved to six.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Over under 44.5. The Falcons' offense ranks last in NFL
- 38:09Speaker 1: yards per drive. Chad, but your quarterback is making the
- 38:14Speaker 1: debut of the season. Michael Penix Jr. It's his first
- 38:18Speaker 1: game back since tearing his left ACL. And Green Bay's
- 38:21Speaker 1: defense gets pressure on 36% of dropbacks, and they don't
- 38:25Speaker 1: have to blitz to do that. But they need a spark,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and maybe your guy is delivering that tonight for Atlanta.
- 38:32Speaker 3: That Falcons team looks bad through two weeks. They look
- 38:35Speaker 3: really bad. They've got great talent. I mean, they have
- 38:37Speaker 3: legitimate talent. Bajon Robinson might be the best running back
- 38:40Speaker 3: in the NFL.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I mean, one of them.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, hopefully Pennix can do some things right
- 38:48Speaker 1: from the quarterback position.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Sunday night football, Rams at Broncos.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Two and a half is the spread here, over under
- 38:55Speaker 1: 45 at Hard Rock Bet. The Rams scored on five
- 38:58Speaker 1: of seven first half drives. last week without Puka Nakua.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Denver's defense remains really good. They held Jacksonville to 13 points.
- 39:07Speaker 1: They ranked third in opponent red zone touchdown conversion percentage.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Both teams have hit the under each of the last
- 39:14Speaker 1: two weeks to start the season. Monday night football, Eagles
- 39:18Speaker 1: and Bears. This is a weird one because the Eagles
- 39:21Speaker 1: are favored here. It says five and a half. I
- 39:23Speaker 1: think it's down to three and a half, over under
- 39:26Speaker 1: at 43 and a half. Monday night football, Soldier Field.
- 39:29Speaker 1: K Williams dealing with a bum hamstring that you would
- 39:32Speaker 1: think tore his leg off. Tyson Badgett, he's fighting through
- 39:36Speaker 1: a concussion protocol. So Case Keenum may be getting a
- 39:40Speaker 1: start here for Chicago, making his first start in Bears colors.
- 39:44Speaker 1: And he's 38 years old, Chad, making his first start
- 39:47Speaker 1: since 2021. His first pass attempt Since 2023.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Sorry, keep going.
- 39:53Speaker 1: No, I was going to say, can the Bears run
- 39:55Speaker 1: the football? Because teams have been able to run the
- 39:57Speaker 1: football against Philly, but the Eagles are about to be 3-0.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Also, we've had so much to talk about this week,
- 40:06Speaker 3: we haven't even got to it yet, but the Caleb Williams,
- 40:09Speaker 3: learning that it was just like a mild, like nothing
- 40:11Speaker 3: serious happened to his hamstring, and the tearful exit from
- 40:15Speaker 3: the stadium.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Howl over his face.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Was so over the top that the guy could even
- 40:20Speaker 3: play this week or next that may not miss any
- 40:23Speaker 3: time or much time at all.
- 40:25Speaker 2: It's wild.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Caleb Williams is a good player, wild dude to watch
- 40:30Speaker 3: how he behaves at times.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I mean, it explains why he carries a purse, Chad. Yes, yes.
- 40:36Speaker 2: It's very European is what he says. It's big in Europe.
- 40:41Speaker 2: 425 Eastern kickoff. It's Ravens and Cowboys. This is in
- 40:45Speaker 2: Rio de Janeiro.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson and the Ravens facing that Dallas run defense
- 40:50Speaker 1: that just gave up 145 yards on the ground last week.
- 40:54Speaker 1: This is one of those, yet again, storyline is going
- 40:58Speaker 1: to be the turf. It's a slick surface. The talk
- 41:01Speaker 1: is the turf is not good. All the players are
- 41:04Speaker 1: being asked about this. That's something to watch. Maybe you
- 41:08Speaker 1: want to go with the under here if you think
- 41:11Speaker 1: that's going to play a factor in how these teams
- 41:13Speaker 1: attack this game. Raiders and Saints, 2-0. Raiders, and you've
- 41:18Speaker 1: got the Saints at 1-1, and they're both surprised. Surprise
- 41:22Speaker 1: early season stories here. Las Vegas has controlled second halves
- 41:26Speaker 1: in consecutive double-digit wins over the Dolphins and Chargers.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Their run game is getting it done.
- 41:32Speaker 1: New Orleans beat Baltimore 24-17 on the road, but this
- 41:36Speaker 1: is a Raiders defense, Chad, that's allowing just 13.5 points
- 41:39Speaker 1: per game. New Orleans is going to be missing their
- 41:42Speaker 1: left tackle in this game. Vegas already has eight sacks
- 41:47Speaker 1: on the season already. I would recommend, plus money right now,
- 41:51Speaker 1: over two and a half sacks as one of the
- 41:52Speaker 1: props to take advantage of right now for Vegas in
- 41:56Speaker 1: this game.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Maybe one of the most unexpected big games in Week 3.
- 42:01Speaker 3: If you would have said, looking at the NFL schedule,
- 42:03Speaker 3: that you'd have 2-0 versus 1-1 and both teams looking
- 42:05Speaker 3: really good between Raiders and Saints, you would be shocked.
- 42:09Speaker 3: I'm also shocked to learn that that Brooks Carter lets
- 42:12Speaker 3: us know in the YouTube chat, you can join us there,
- 42:14Speaker 3: that the Falcons are the only team in the NFL
- 42:17Speaker 3: that haven't made an appearance in the red zone all season.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Not one red zone appearance.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Shocking. That's insane. It's number two, the Titans. It's got
- 42:27Speaker 2: to be up there. It's got to be up there.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Maybe that changes my guy Penix tonight for the Falcons.
- 42:31Speaker 3: They're going to get into the red zone, hopefully.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Oh, by the way, New Orleans, they've covered each of
- 42:37Speaker 1: their two games. but they've trailed big. They were down
- 42:41Speaker 1: 21-0 in 14-3 in both of those games, still covered
- 42:45Speaker 1: as the underdog. Sunday at 4.05 Eastern, it's Vikings and Buccaneers.
- 42:51Speaker 1: This is an interesting matchup. Minnesota comes in 2-0. The
- 42:54Speaker 1: Buccaneers are surprising 0-2. The spread's just 1.5, over-under, low
- 42:58Speaker 1: at 42.5. Todd Bowles and Brian Flores, aggressive defensive coaches
- 43:04Speaker 1: in this game. Baker Mayfield has handled the blitz well
- 43:08Speaker 1: throughout his career. On the other side, Kyler Murray has not.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And he's got a chance to return. He's only had
- 43:16Speaker 1: 11 snaps this season before he got concussed. He's got
- 43:19Speaker 1: a chance to return in this game. We'll see how
- 43:21Speaker 1: he handles Todd Bowles' defense on the flip side. Tampa 0-2.
- 43:26Speaker 1: They've turned the ball over on 21% of their possessions.
- 43:30Speaker 1: And that plays right into Brian Flores' defense. So I
- 43:35Speaker 1: lean Minnesota just based on the way they've been turning
- 43:37Speaker 1: the football over. Sunday, 4-0-5. Cardinals and 49ers. 8.5 is
- 43:41Speaker 1: the spread here. San Francisco's offense, over 220 yards after
- 43:45Speaker 1: the catch against the Dolphins.
- 43:48Speaker 2: After the catch.
- 43:49Speaker 1: They've been getting after it. Arizona's defense gave up 8
- 43:53Speaker 1: of 12 third-down attempts. Seahawks and Commanders. Marcus Mariota steps
- 43:57Speaker 1: in at quarterback. And he's facing a Seahawks defense that
- 44:01Speaker 1: has generated pressure on 41% of their snaps without extra rushers.
- 44:07Speaker 1: They did that against Arizona. Sam Darnold returned to practice, Chad,
- 44:11Speaker 1: so he's got a chance to possibly play. He had
- 44:13Speaker 1: that glute injury from week one. Mike McDonald said there's
- 44:17Speaker 1: a chance he plays.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I kind of feel I'd be surprised.
- 44:22Speaker 2: this soon. Maybe you wait one more. But there's no
- 44:25Speaker 2: definitive decision there. Also, really good backup situation with Seattle. Yeah, absolutely.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Not many backup QB situations as good as Drew Locke.
- 44:32Speaker 2: They've got one there. Totally agree. Bengals and Steelers. Matchup
- 44:37Speaker 2: in the AFC North. It's big here.
- 44:39Speaker 1: You've got the Bengals favored by 3.5. 2-0 against 1-1.
- 44:43Speaker 1: The Steelers scored just three points against New England. Zero
- 44:46Speaker 1: explosive plays. Rodgers wants to reduce the call sheet. It's
- 44:50Speaker 1: the first time that Rodgers and McCarthy have combined to
- 44:55Speaker 1: have no touchdowns in a game since 2010. It was
- 44:59Speaker 1: last week. It's been a while. And then on the
- 45:02Speaker 1: other side, since he's 2-0, Joe Burrow completing 72% of
- 45:05Speaker 1: his dropbacks whenever he's blitzed. Chargers and Bills. At one point, Chad,
- 45:10Speaker 1: this was going to be one of the top games
- 45:12Speaker 1: of the year. And now it's Buffalo, offensive scoring machine,
- 45:18Speaker 1: and the Chargers... who can't get anything going, guilty of
- 45:21Speaker 1: turnovers and penalties. The defense, though, for Buffalo is why
- 45:25Speaker 1: this spread is 7.5. I've been a bit surprised just
- 45:29Speaker 1: by the way Buffalo's been playing, especially with them at home.
- 45:33Speaker 1: The Chargers are reeling. I realize the quarterback situation is
- 45:37Speaker 1: good for the Chargers, but it's great in Buffalo.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I would lay the points.
- 45:41Speaker 1: A lot of people are taking the points here, but
- 45:44Speaker 1: I don't see how the Chargers, with all the turnovers
- 45:46Speaker 1: and penalties, just get it right against one of the
- 45:48Speaker 1: best teams in the NFL. Their rushing game has been awful.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I'm going to go the opposite way on this.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Are you?
- 45:56Speaker 3: What do we know about Jim Harbaugh, especially his time
- 45:58Speaker 3: at the University of Michigan? They fall upwards, right? Whatever
- 46:03Speaker 3: happens for them seems to work out. I think Harbaugh's
- 46:07Speaker 3: group with the backs against the wall, it's going to
- 46:11Speaker 3: come through in this game.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I don't know that they win.
- 46:13Speaker 3: I think it's a last-second game. Either way, I feel
- 46:17Speaker 3: like they rally at 0-2. Everybody making fun of them
- 46:20Speaker 3: and Herbert and everything else. I think they play great
- 46:23Speaker 3: in this game. That is a Jim Harbaugh staple of
- 46:26Speaker 3: his teams when they're facing criticism. So I do think
- 46:30Speaker 3: they bounce back and rally.
- 46:33Speaker 2: You know what?
- 46:33Speaker 3: I'll go ahead and call it. And I'm a Bills guy.
- 46:36Speaker 3: They're my Super Bowl pick this year. I think the
- 46:38Speaker 3: Chargers get their first win of the season.
- 46:40Speaker 2: On Sunday against Buffalo.
- 46:41Speaker 1: That would be huge. That means we're still going to
- 46:43Speaker 1: be watching one of the games of the year. By
- 46:45Speaker 1: the way, they led the league in time of possession
- 46:48Speaker 1: with their rushing attack last year. They've been held to
- 46:50Speaker 1: under 75 yards in each of their first two games
- 46:53Speaker 1: against some inferior opponents.
- 46:57Speaker 2: It's surprising.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Also surprising, the Texans are 0-2 and the Colts are 0-2.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Matchup in the AFC South. Two and a half spread here.
- 47:05Speaker 1: This is a critical early season matchup. Alec Pierce headed
- 47:08Speaker 1: to IR. With his heel injury acting up again, they're
- 47:11Speaker 1: considering surgery. They signed Darius Slayton on Tuesday. Pierce led
- 47:17Speaker 1: the league in yards per catch each of the past
- 47:20Speaker 1: two seasons. The Colts are tied for 30th in the
- 47:23Speaker 1: NFL this year with just two pass attempts of 20
- 47:26Speaker 1: or more air yards. Everything's been deconducted because they don't
- 47:29Speaker 1: have a deep threat because Alec Pierce isn't available. Patriots
- 47:32Speaker 1: and Jaguars. Jacksonville returns home. They're favored by three over
- 47:37Speaker 1: under at 44.5 here. They need an early spark. They
- 47:41Speaker 1: managed just 13 points against Denver, and they're converting just 28%
- 47:46Speaker 1: of their third down attempts, yet they're favored at home
- 47:49Speaker 1: against New England. Chad, the Titans on the road against
- 47:52Speaker 1: the New York football Giants. It's 0-2 versus 1-1. Giants
- 47:57Speaker 1: are favored by 2.5. Some places you'll be able to
- 48:00Speaker 1: see it at 3. Hard Rock's got it at 2.5
- 48:02Speaker 1: right now at hardrock.bet.com. Jameis Winston starts for the Giants.
- 48:07Speaker 1: The Titans' defense... They have, let's see, two takeaways on
- 48:12Speaker 1: the season, I believe. Yeah, two on the season. Will
- 48:15Speaker 1: Winston protect the football? That's what this game comes down to.
- 48:19Speaker 1: If Winston protects the football, the Giants are going to
- 48:22Speaker 1: win this game. Brian Callahan and Denard Wilson, they're both
- 48:26Speaker 1: coaches now for the Giants. And the Titans have plenty
- 48:29Speaker 1: of former Giants on their roster, including Wondell Robinson. I
- 48:33Speaker 1: expect him to have a good game. We haven't seen
- 48:35Speaker 1: much of him. I expect to have a good game.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Chad... While we're on the Titans.
- 48:40Speaker 1: You've got Bryce Young with 648 passing yards this season.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Cam Ward has 323. Tyler Shuck leads the NFL in
- 48:50Speaker 1: passing yards, 662.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Cam Ward has 323.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Bryce Young has six touchdown passes. Cam Ward has one,
- 48:59Speaker 1: and that came in garbage time. This is unbelievable.
- 49:03Speaker 3: It's... I'm glad you brought those quarterbacks too, Hutton, because
- 49:07Speaker 3: we're not talking about Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford and
- 49:11Speaker 3: Patrick Mahomes, right? We're talking about his peers. These are
- 49:16Speaker 3: the comps right now for Cam Moore. In fact, if
- 49:19Speaker 3: you would have told a Titan fan that he would
- 49:23Speaker 3: be way worse than Tyler Shook, they would be despondent
- 49:28Speaker 3: going into his career as the number one pick. It's
- 49:32Speaker 3: a great illustration of how inept the Titans passing game
- 49:35Speaker 3: is right now. Here's the other thing the Titans need.
- 49:38Speaker 3: And we're going to talk to Jared Stillman coming up,
- 49:39Speaker 3: and we'll talk a lot of Titans with him also.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Carnell Tate's got to do something. Absolutely. I mean, he's
- 49:44Speaker 2: the fourth overall pick. Like, it's not just– Yes.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Let him battle for the football. But there's a lot
- 49:51Speaker 3: of issues out there. Peter Skowronski, when he gets beat
- 49:54Speaker 3: on a play and commits a– he can't stand there
- 49:57Speaker 3: like he's posturing the whole time as the quarterback's running.
- 50:01Speaker 3: I mean, there are just moments in the game that
- 50:03Speaker 3: I'm thinking, what are these players.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Paid to do? For the Titans, because it's not this.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Hey, there are other quarterbacks, Chad, that will surprise you
- 50:11Speaker 1: even more. Geno Smith has 130 more yards than Cam Ward.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson, 120 more yards than Cam Ward. Malik Willis
- 50:21Speaker 1: has 417 passing yards. Cam Ward has 323. Again, there's
- 50:27Speaker 1: no deep presence whatsoever with this Titans offense. Chiefs and Dolphins.
- 50:34Speaker 1: The Chiefs favored by 12.5 and I've got it at
- 50:40Speaker 1: 44.5 on the over-under. It's the largest point spread of
- 50:44Speaker 1: the entire Sunday slate here. Kansas City's offense, they're averaging
- 50:48Speaker 1: 32 points per game through two weeks. 11-14 in red
- 50:53Speaker 1: zone third downs. Miami has been outscored this season already
- 50:56Speaker 1: 62-26 and they give up six yards per carry on
- 51:01Speaker 1: the ground. That may be coming up in Profit Like
- 51:05Speaker 1: It's Hot later this week.
- 51:06Speaker 2: How bad are the Dolphins?
- 51:08Speaker 3: We've got to have a weekly update hunting on who's
- 51:12Speaker 3: the worst in the league.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Titans are in contention. Dolphins are in contention. I can
- 51:16Speaker 1: bring that.
- 51:17Speaker 3: Chargers are in contention right now. Falcons certainly are in
- 51:20Speaker 3: that group also. Who's going to win out and be
- 51:23Speaker 3: the worst each week? I've got two more for you.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Jets and Lions. One and one here. Lions favored by 6.5.
- 51:29Speaker 2: 47.5 is the over-under.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Detroit returns to Ford Field. This does matter. They cover
- 51:37Speaker 1: at a 70% margin indoors. They just put up 31
- 51:43Speaker 1: last Thursday against Buffalo in a loss. The Jets' secondary
- 51:47Speaker 1: held Green Bay to just 20 points, but their red
- 51:50Speaker 1: zone offense is not good. They converted now just two
- 51:55Speaker 1: of seven red zone trips into touchdowns this season.
- 51:59Speaker 3: And that's indoors. Any indoor stadium, you're saying, for the Lions? Yeah,
- 52:03Speaker 3: they cover indoor. Not just 50% of the time.
- 52:06Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Just cover. I'm not saying outright win. Final game for you.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Panthers and Browns. This is a two-and-a-half point spread. Forty-and-a-half
- 52:15Speaker 1: is the over-under. The low total is expected here. Carolina,
- 52:21Speaker 1: an efficient rushing attack. They gained five-and-a-half yards per carry
- 52:25Speaker 1: last week. Bryce Young's playing well. He's tied for the
- 52:28Speaker 1: lead league in touchdown passes with Kirk Cousins and a
- 52:30Speaker 1: couple of others. Cleveland's defense forced three turnovers in Tampa.
- 52:35Speaker 1: And the Browns' offensive line has surrendered 11 sacks. 11
- 52:39Speaker 1: sacks through two weeks. So I expect a sloppy game,
- 52:43Speaker 1: low scoring, and the better quarterback is Bryce Young right now. Chad,
- 52:50Speaker 1: that's one big thing on every NFL game.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Outstanding work. Outstanding work.
- 52:54Speaker 3: I'm going to take with me That Lions fact about
- 52:56Speaker 3: covering 70% indoors this week. And I'm going to carry
- 53:00Speaker 3: with me that Cam Ward just simply is not getting
- 53:03Speaker 3: it done. When you look at other quarterbacks, that he
- 53:05Speaker 3: should be better than at this point in his career.
- 53:08Speaker 2: And he is not.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Let me pull up real quick some of the NFL
- 53:14Speaker 1: bets that I have made this week, if you don't mind.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it. I'm pulling up Hard Rock's app
- 53:20Speaker 2: right now.
- 53:21Speaker 3: I just placed one Chargers money line to follow what
- 53:24Speaker 3: I've said on the show.
- 53:25Speaker 2: And went with them.
- 53:27Speaker 3: It feels like a game where Jim Harbaugh and his
- 53:29Speaker 3: team surprises everyone and does not.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Go to 0-3. Okay, my bets.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I've got some, again, I'm throwing like $ 3 and stuff
- 53:38Speaker 1: on some of these. I have, okay, I have the, hey,
- 53:46Speaker 1: how about this? I took a bonus bet, and I
- 53:48Speaker 1: took the Chargers plus 7.5 on a bonus bet.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Just to see what happens there, just to cover. in
- 53:55Speaker 2: this game.
- 53:56Speaker 1: I've also, without a bonus bet, taken the Bills in this.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Malik Willis, I took him over 177 yards passing because
- 54:06Speaker 1: I think he's going to be throwing a lot playing
- 54:08Speaker 1: from behind against the Chiefs. And I took total points,
- 54:16Speaker 1: I took the over in the Raiders and Saints matchup.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Just because I think that's going to be one of
- 54:23Speaker 1: the top games against two teams that Have some pretty
- 54:25Speaker 1: good offensive play, despite what we may have thought about them. Remember,
- 54:29Speaker 1: I said that I took the under five and a half.
- 54:32Speaker 1: I think it was the over seven and a half.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I take that back. Seven and a half was the
- 54:35Speaker 2: over-under total wins for New Orleans. I took the under.
- 54:40Speaker 3: The Raiders had me thinking, is this a full season-long
- 54:43Speaker 3: stay for Kirk Cousins' starter? Because I expected going into
- 54:47Speaker 3: the season that Fernando Mendoza would become the starter at
- 54:49Speaker 3: some point.
- 54:51Speaker 2: But they're off to a good start. He looks fine.
- 54:54Speaker 2: You know, for what he is at this point in
- 54:56Speaker 2: his career, he looks healthy.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 2: There could be an injury along the way, obviously. That
- 55:00Speaker 2: could change everything.
- 55:01Speaker 3: But I'm watching that Raiders offense with Ashton Gentry and
- 55:04Speaker 3: with what Cousins is doing. And they're being inventive about
- 55:07Speaker 3: how they're doing. I saw two different trick plays. Watched
- 55:10Speaker 3: the game for 10 minutes the other day with the Raiders.
- 55:12Speaker 3: So how long can that last? And is he actually
- 55:15Speaker 3: going to hold off Mendoza for the whole season?
- 55:17Speaker 1: And if they get the run game going at a
- 55:19Speaker 1: high rate, that's where you're really churning there. Jared Stillman
- 55:25Speaker 1: about to join us here on the program. And a
- 55:28Speaker 1: lot more coming. We have some hard rock locks as well.
- 55:32Speaker 1: We'll lock it in with you with our favorite bet
- 55:34Speaker 1: of the week. That's all coming up here on Hunting
- 55:36Speaker 1: Withro presented by Hard Rock Bets.
