🎯 ALERT 🎯 Silver Price and Gold: FACTS Are SHOCKING ⚡ · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:02
Everybody, welcome to the live stream.
• 0:04
Welcome to the basement. Things are getting interesting.
• 0:08
Gold is setting new records. Silver is struggling a little
• 0:13
bit today. We'll touch on that.
• 0:15
But guys we got to look at the big deal going on right now and
• 0:19
that is that things are changing like we've never experienced
• 0:24
before. One big key take away we want to
• 0:26
remember about what is going on right now in the gold market is
• 0:32
that this record high level that we are approaching or that we
• 0:37
are in, we've set records on daily basis.
• 0:39
We've set records on weekly basis.
• 0:42
This is a huge, huge deal and don't you worry silver stackers,
• 0:47
silver will follow. Remember, silver always follows
• 0:52
  gold. But think about this.
• 0:53
I had a couple things I want to cover regarding this recent big
• 0:57
move in the gold price. OK, everything out there seems
• 1:02
to be at all time highs right now.
• 1:04
If you notice that. Well I think the stock market's
• 1:07
doing a little cruddy today, but basically the S&P 500's at an
• 1:10
all time high. Bitcoin is at an all time high,
• 1:14
you know, Real estate prices are at an all time high, and now we
• 1:19
have gold at an all time high. But what's different about gold?
• 1:22
A couple things, #1 gold's all time high That it's at right now
• 1:29
is a very recent phenomena, #1 and #2.
• 1:35
If you adjust it for inflation, which we need to do really, the
• 1:39
all time high in gold is closer to like $3500 per oz.
• 1:44
So we've got a lot of room. That's the take away there.
• 1:47
We've got a lot of room to run for gold.
• 1:50
Now when we talk about silver, we get, I mean it's crazy.
• 1:53
You got to realize this about silver.
• 1:56
Silver is so undervalued right now.
• 2:00
Silver's all time high. And I'll credit coin shop,
• 2:02
Chris, the one and only for doing this research a month or
• 2:05
so back that like if you adjust the $50 all time high in silver,
• 2:09
which was what 1980, it's like $187.00 an ounce right now.
• 2:14
So guys, we've got a lot of room to run in silver, but we're
• 2:18
going to talk a little more about gold today, right, because
• 2:23
gold will lead the way and gold is leading the way.
• 2:27
Just before I came on, we had gold up $12.00 per oz.
• 2:30
  I think I see the S&P 500 down about 1%.
• 2:34
Remember Remember right, the bubble in the stock market, the
• 2:39
bubble in the real estate market and the the the rest of the
• 2:42
bubble that's left in the bond market when that money starts to
• 2:45
  leave, right? Remember extras pyramid.
• 2:48
  Don't worry, I won't pull that up.
• 2:49
But all that money, all that fake synthetic right stock
• 2:53
market, all the debt, the corporate debt, really the bond
• 2:57
market. I mean, you do realize, right,
• 2:59
that the bond market is like multiple times bigger than the
• 3:02
stock market as money continues to leave that in just a little
• 3:07
bit of it, just 10% of it comes into gold and silver.
• 3:10
We can have major, major changes.
• 3:13
But I want you to think about this with gold.
• 3:15
  OK. Thank you, Neil.
• 3:16
Wow, thank you for that super chat, my friend.
• 3:20
This recent price run, right? And platinum will follow.
• 3:23
Neil's a big platinum and I love platinum too.
• 3:27
OK. All these metals will follow
• 3:29
gold. But this most recent move that
• 3:30
we had in gold, it wasn't like it was because of a sudden
• 3:34
geopolitical event. Now we've talked about
• 3:36
geopolitics mean a lot for the precious metals prizes, but this
• 3:40
move was based on economic reality.
• 3:45
Fundamentals are what are is driving the gold price right
• 3:49
  now. Technicals, right.
• 3:52
We pulled up the big cup and handle.
• 3:53
There's a cup and handle. Silver and gold.
• 3:56
Investors, there's a cup and handle.
• 3:59
Make sure I got the mic up and you guys can hear me.
• 4:01
There's a cup and handle here, right?
• 4:06
  Remember, that's a cup. There's my daughter's when they
• 4:08
were little. Anyway, that goes like this.
• 4:13
There's a cup and handle in the gold market.
• 4:16
Like that's the technical side. This this most recent run is not
• 4:20
based, it's critical we understand that on just someone
• 4:24
off event some new war, right. Although you know when that
• 4:28
happens and we don't like war that does push up the price of
• 4:31
the metals. This has been based on reality
• 4:34
basic mathematics things like D dollarization.
• 4:38
I was just talking with Michael Mahari, right.
• 4:40
He's the editor at the the 10th Amendment center.
• 4:44
Super smart guy. You got to watch the interview I
• 4:47
did with him. I'll put it out here in a couple
• 4:49
days. And he was talking about just
• 4:52
the unbelievable forces right now that are holding up the gold
• 4:56
  price. I won't spoil it.
• 4:58
I'll let you watch it. But guys, this is not a
• 5:00
temporary phenomena. I believe in my heart that we
• 5:05
are in a new paradigm, a new weather pattern for the gold
• 5:10
price, for the silver price, OK, If you think we're in a new
• 5:14
weather pattern and you want to get your hands on some silver,
• 5:17
gold or platinum, please check out our channel sponsor, Pinbex.
• 5:21
They make this possible, right? Without Pinbex, without their
• 5:24
support, I wouldn't be able to be on here every day talking to
• 5:28
  you. They're a company I worked with
• 5:30
long before they sponsored the channel.
• 5:33
I think. Throw them into the mix next
• 5:35
time. You're looking for some precious
• 5:37
metals, right? You'll find great prizes, great
• 5:40
service, and a great reputation. But don't take my word for it.
• 5:45
Discover it for yourself. You can go to Pinbex, Pi, MB, E,
• 5:49
xpinbex.com. They can also help with IRA
• 5:53
rollovers. When you go to Pinbex, I think
• 5:56
what you'll find is you get the same metal and you get more
• 6:01
metal for your money. Let's move on.
• 6:05
We are no longer fringe. You're no longer a fringe
• 6:10
character. OK, basement dweller, we are
• 6:13
moving into the mainstream. We always were silver and gold
• 6:17
investors. We always were in the
• 6:18
mainstream. We've got like 5000 years of
• 6:21
history on our side. This is a new reality.
• 6:24
Even the mainstream media is starting to to to to to pick up
• 6:30
on what's going on and it's it's accelerating new all time highs.
• 6:35
We can't talk about this enough. Let me ask you a question.
• 6:40
How many of you bought gold for $2300 and are sitting around
• 6:45
saying if gold ever gets to $2300 I'm going to get out and
• 6:48
get all my money back. I'm going to sell, sell.
• 6:51
No, nobody has. We are in new territory.
• 6:54
Everyone who owns gold and bought it in U.S. dollars right
• 7:00
now, right, is in the money. Okay.
• 7:03
They're not going to want to sell.
• 7:04
Why would they sell? They're feeling good.
• 7:06
They're feeling like, hey, you know and we spent like what 14
• 7:10
weeks building a base at $2000, basically 2002 thousand.
• 7:16
We dipped below 2000 for a couple days.
• 7:18
We are in new territory for gold and silver.
• 7:23
I know it's hard for us, it's hard for you maybe as a silver
• 7:25
and gold investor to accept that fact, but I believe we are now.
• 7:29
Look, I could be wrong. Thank you, Tim.
• 7:32
Wow, thank you, Tim for that. Super Chat says buy F FM GF that
• 7:36
is, guys. First, my name Gold, who's a
• 7:40
sponsor of Ron's Basement. I just put on an interview I did
• 7:43
with the CEO, Dan Wilton. It's a stock I own.
• 7:47
I'm not giving financial advice, but I like the fact that they
• 7:50
have two 5 million oz development stage projects in
• 7:54
Canada in the ground. If I'm not going to hold the
• 7:57
metal here, right, then you know what?
• 8:00
I like the fact that the company I own holds a ton of metal
• 8:04
buried safely tucked away in the ground in Canada.
• 8:07
And they're working hard moving these projects through the
• 8:12
development stage, through the permitting stage.
• 8:14
And there's going to be a big shortage of available gold
• 8:18
  projects. Same thing with silver.
• 8:20
Mike Mahari and I were talking about that earlier.
• 8:23
Oh, we got 100 likes. I got to ring the bell first,
• 8:27
Jake when I need him. Jake, You guys.
• 8:29
Yesterday, Jake from Jake's Custom Parts was here.
• 8:31
What a great guide. Just a great example of the
• 8:34
wonderful people that are in the Silver and gold community.
• 8:37
I'm sure Jake is on here this morning.
• 8:39
Hey, tomorrow, big announcement. Tomorrow's live stream.
• 8:43
I'm going to be joined by the one and only.
• 8:46
Got a special treat for you tomorrow, Wednesday.
• 8:49
Patrick Holland from the Missouri Freedom Initiative and
• 8:52
I just saw his name pass by. So we are super excited to have
• 8:56
Pat here in the basement. But Mike Mahari, who's a friend
• 8:59
of Pat's and I thought I should have known it was an awesome
• 9:02
guy. We had this great conversation
• 9:05
and he he pointed out, he said. I think the prospects for silver
• 9:08
are even more exciting than gold and gold's plenty exciting.
• 9:12
We aren't saying anything bad about gold.
• 9:14
We love gold, but the prospects for silver are unbelievable.
• 9:19
OK, let's take a quick look guys, at what the mainstream
• 9:24
media is saying right now about gold.
• 9:29
CNBC right when they're talking about gold on CNBC.
• 9:32
Headline gold rises above $2100 to its highest level ever as
• 9:38
traders bet on interest rate cuts.
• 9:41
Now let's go down here and see what they said when adjusted for
• 9:46
  inflation. This is interesting.
• 9:48
Remember, gold has a long way to run.
• 9:51
Gold set an all time high of about $3200.
• 9:56
Yes, that's $3200 in 1980 according to Peter Bachmar,
• 10:02
chief investment officer at Bleakley Bleakley.
• 10:05
That's not a very good name for it.
• 10:06
Isn't it Like bleak? Like a bleak outlook?
• 10:08
Well anyway, Bleakley Financial Group, he says, quote, we're
• 10:12
still a ways away, which then also points to potential upside,
• 10:18
said Buchvar, who believes gold will also test the inflation
• 10:23
adjusted record. So we like Mr. Bleakley 'cause
• 10:26
he's telling us we can get to $3200 gold.
• 10:29
Now, I said $2600 gold in the thumbnail for this video and I
• 10:35
believe, and I'll stand by my call, I said we'd have $2600
• 10:39
gold by May. We'll see how that all plays
• 10:41
out. Let's read that, 'cause there is
• 10:43
some bad news in this article. The Vanek, the gold miners did
• 10:49
  well when adjusted for inflation.
• 10:51
We just talked about that. You can imagine the mentality of
• 10:55
China, Saudi Arabia and other countries saying, do we really
• 10:59
want all of our assets in U.S. Treasuries?
• 11:02
OK, what he's talking about are all the foreign countries that
• 11:06
are moving now right there. That is right there moving
• 11:10
their, their, their, their, their reserves out of dollars
• 11:15
and into gold. And we've got to remember this
• 11:19
is happening. This is what's crazy.
• 11:21
This is what Will, I've got a big exclusive for you here in
• 11:24
just a few minutes regarding what's really going on in quote,
• 11:29
UN quote interest rate cuts and you may not agree with me.
• 11:32
That's OK. We're going to cover it here in
• 11:34
a little bit. But the United States is in a
• 11:36
position right now where it needs to borrow more and more
• 11:41
and more money from the world, right?
• 11:43
The 34 trillion and growing the deficit just at a time when the
• 11:49
world is saying, number one, we don't like how you weaponize the
• 11:53
dollar. So we don't want to buy your
• 11:54
treasuries and we are capable, right?
• 11:58
China, the rest of the East, the bricks, the bricks.
• 12:01
Plus Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Saudi
• 12:06
Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates.
• 12:09
And 30 more countries that want it, excuse me, join, they're all
• 12:13
saying we don't really want your debt.
• 12:15
We're in the spiral, guys. It's not good.
• 12:18
It's not a good situation. The countries of the world are
• 12:21
moving their money to things like gold.
• 12:24
  OK, okay? He says.
• 12:25
The expectation here is that inflation will likely moderate
• 12:28
over time as the economy weakens, and that will give
• 12:31
latitude to the Fed to get serious about cutting rates.
• 12:35
Traders are betting the Fed will cut rates in June.
• 12:38
I'm going to go out on a limb and you're going to think I'm
• 12:40
crazy. And that's Okay because you
• 12:42
  won't be alone. I don't think they're going to
• 12:45
cut rates, but I'll tell you why that could actually be very good
• 12:49
for the gold price. We're going to cover that in a
• 12:52
little bit. The bad news is here is he
• 12:54
points out like let's say the payrolls come in stronger than
• 12:57
people think. And I guess we're probably going
• 13:00
to get that here on Friday. I believe we'll get the February
• 13:03
payroll number. All bets are off.
• 13:05
And I think we could give up a lot of what we gain.
• 13:08
  That's the big one. Wow.
• 13:10
So I'll have to look it up. I don't know if do we or maybe
• 13:12
somebody can put it in the comments.
• 13:14
Are we going to get the payroll number on Friday?
• 13:18
I'm not sure. OK, I'm not.
• 13:20
I guess I'm not doing a good job.
• 13:21
There's only so much research I can do.
• 13:23
So somebody look that one up and let us know.
• 13:26
OK. Around the world right now,
• 13:30
central bankers are becoming more informed.
• 13:33
Institutional money managers are becoming more informed.
• 13:39
OK, Remember, the central banks of the world are buying a record
• 13:43
amount of gold. We say that every single day.
• 13:45
They're the insiders. They're the ones that know they
• 13:48
know what's going on. But right, right.
• 13:52
  What about Stanley Druckenmiller?
• 13:53
What about the guy from Elliott? Big smart hedge fund managers
• 13:58
are moving into precious metal related investments.
• 14:02
Druckenmiller, right? He's the bomb baby, right?
• 14:05
He's moved into, he sold some traditional tech and moved his
• 14:10
some money, some money, right into the gold mining sector.
• 14:15
It's happening. It's happening right now every
• 14:18
OK. This country was built on silver
• 14:23
and gold. I just had to throw that in
• 14:25
there guys. This Mirage that we've been
• 14:28
living under for the last 50 years since they took us off the
• 14:31
gold standard, our country. And if you look out through
• 14:35
history, any country that ever achieved quote, UN quote
• 14:39
greatness, it was exclusively done during periods of time when
• 14:45
there was gold and silver backing the money, right.
• 14:49
We we suffer from some people call it recency bias.
• 14:52
Some people call it normalcy bias, right?
• 14:54
We forget, you know, my whole life silver and gold, right?
• 14:57
Have not backed the money. But throughout the history,
• 15:00
throughout long periods of time. That's what's going on.
• 15:03
Now the warning. I have to warn you, OK, Because
• 15:08
I'm a little worried about this. I'm a worry wart.
• 15:11
I'll do the worrying for you. But are we going to see a beat
• 15:15
down in the metals? Are we going to see the day?
• 15:18
  Could it be Friday? Right.
• 15:19
Oh, we've had great employment numbers.
• 15:21
Everything's wonder. You know, why Donomics is
• 15:24
working. We'd we created 16,000,000 jobs
• 15:28
during the month of February. I don't know.
• 15:30
It'd be interesting to see how this plays out.
• 15:32
But don't rule out. And I don't want to be a
• 15:36
negative, Nelly, because you know I love gold and you know
• 15:39
I'm calling for gold, $2600 by May for you and me, right.
• 15:43
And for that old bear, there he is, him right there.
• 15:47
But we'll have to see how it plays out, because the powers
• 15:50
that be don't like gold and silver.
• 15:54
Are we at the pivot point? Are we at the point right now
• 15:57
where they've lost control? Have we, have we entered a new,
• 16:03
a new paradigm? Has the tide turned?
• 16:05
We're going to find out. It's going to be a crazy rest of
• 16:09
the year. And you know, I'll be here with
• 16:10
you through it all for all of that.
• 16:12
OK, So what happened yesterday? It's all a bunch of it.
• 16:17
  It's all but I asked. I asked.
• 16:20
I asked my new friend Michael earlier from the 10th Amendment
• 16:24
Center. I said, is it just me or is the
• 16:26
Fed become more of just a public relations firm?
• 16:30
  Because that's what happened yesterday.
• 16:31
There's all this, it's not even worth trying to figure out,
• 16:34
  right? Repo.
• 16:35
Reverse repo. Yesterday was this big deal.
• 16:38
Let me read this to you quickly. Fed Bostick was a little
• 16:42
hawkish, but not hawkish. The Atlanta Fed president noted
• 16:46
third quarter rate cut likely to be followed by a pause.
• 16:49
  Blah, blah, blah. What?
• 16:50
I'm telling you, this is the meat of what's going on.
• 16:53
This is the meat. This is a this is an exclusive.
• 16:56
And you don't have to agree with me, OK?
• 16:58
You don't have to agree with me. But the Fed is becoming nothing
• 17:02
but noise. Silver and gold are realizing
• 17:06
that right now they're calling the bluff.
• 17:10
OK, right. Silver and gold have been around
• 17:14
for 5000 years, right? The oldest markets in the world.
• 17:18
So I ask you this question, right?
• 17:20
  What comes with age? Wisdom.
• 17:23
Silver and gold are anticipatory markets.
• 17:26
They realize the Fed is in. the US economy, unfortunately has
• 17:31
gotten itself to a point where we're almost in a a bad spiral.
• 17:35
I don't like it. I'm not in favor of it.
• 17:38
I didn't make these decisions. I'm the kind of guy, and I'm
• 17:41
sure you are too, right? You try to spend less than you
• 17:44
bring in. Unfortunately, our leaders in
• 17:46
Washington didn't do that. Gold and silver are calling the
• 17:50
bluff right now. And you know what that bluff is
• 17:53
going to be calling that bluff is going to look like.
• 17:55
It's going to look like continued record highs in the
• 17:59
silver price and the gold price. But here's the here's the here's
• 18:03
this controversial statement that I'm going to make, OK, I
• 18:08
don't think that the Fed is really going to cut rates now
• 18:13
before you throw eggs at me, before you get mad.
• 18:17
It's still going to be a very, very excellent environment for
• 18:22
the gold price and the silver price.
• 18:24
And why would I say that? Because of the Fed.
• 18:27
The the Fed is going to all the debt.
• 18:30
All the financial shenanigans that have gone on are going to
• 18:33
require that rates are high if we want anybody to buy our debt.
• 18:39
And if they don't do that and the Fed prints money to buy the
• 18:43
debt, they're going to be further, even in a more
• 18:46
exaggerated way, diluting the US dollar, right?
• 18:51
More inflation. It comes down to this.
• 18:54
I'm going to see if I can, if you can understand what I'm
• 18:56
saying. What it really comes down to our
• 18:59
real interest rates. How does inflation relate to the
• 19:03
prevailing interest rate? And if we have rates, let's say
• 19:07
this is the rate at 5%, right? But inflation goes up and up and
• 19:12
the Fed never cuts rates, right? The feds.
• 19:14
Oh well, we're not the feds going to keep remaining tough.
• 19:17
But inflation, the real number, not the BLS, not the, not the
• 19:22
Bureau of Labor and Statistics number.
• 19:25
But the real number goes up, up, up, up, up.
• 19:28
Inflation could be higher even if they leave rates where they
• 19:32
  are, negative real interest rates.
• 19:35
Gold's calling the bluff right now.
• 19:39
What's the difference? OK, if inflation goes is up
• 19:43
here, maybe just a little bit higher and they do cut rates, we
• 19:46
still have negative real interest rates either way.
• 19:51
Either way, guys, the math doesn't work for the system, OK?
• 19:57
Nobody nobody wants is going to want the Treasuries.
• 20:01
People realize, people of the world realize it's an
• 20:04
interesting environment that we're that we're moving into.
• 20:07
Hey, I want to say thank you to channel sponsor Fortuna Silver.
• 20:11
They'll be announcing their fourth quarter earnings
• 20:13
tomorrow. I'm super excited about that.
• 20:16
Their name says Fortuna Silver and they are a silver mining
• 20:20
company. That's where they got their
• 20:21
roots almost 20 years ago, but now they're actually producing
• 20:25
more gold. They have 5 producing mines.
• 20:28
Let's see if I can remember them.
• 20:30
One in Argentina, one in Mexico. The Mexican mine is a silver
• 20:35
mine, Argentina is gold. Another silver mine in Peru.
• 20:38
They have a gold mine in Burkina Faso.
• 20:40
And the 5th mine is their newest mine, the Seguela Mine, a gold
• 20:45
mine that's located in the Ivory Coast in West Africa.
• 20:49
And they have a new exciting development stage exploration
• 20:52
project, Dion Basud, which is in Senegal.
• 20:57
OK, check them out. Fortuna silver.com.
• 21:00
Again, I'm not giving financial advice.
• 21:03
Those are stocks that I own. I'm not going to ever take a
• 21:06
sponsorship from a company unless I've got my own skin in
• 21:10
the game. And trust me, I got skin in the
• 21:13
game on that one. OK, here.
• 21:16
I wrote this with the exclamation points for you.
• 21:19
OK, I know you might think I'm crazy.
• 21:23
We we could the Fed could raise rates and we could still see
• 21:26
gold and silver skyrocket. It comes down to real rates.
• 21:30
Higher inflation, OK, with no rate cut is the same thing as a
• 21:35
rate cut. With lower inflation, it's six
• 21:38
or one half dozen. The other, this is this is
• 21:42
Iran's basement exclusive. Listen to me.
• 21:44
Sounded like a bit of a narcissist there, aren't I?
• 21:47
You watch this will be the case in one year.
• 21:49
People will be saying how gold has done so well with no rate
• 21:55
cuts. That's because the Fed is in a
• 21:58
box. the Fed is in a box. OK, guys, it's basic math
• 22:04
because of the $34 trillion debt load.
• 22:06
And that's just the US government, OK?
• 22:09
It's not considering corporate debt, household debt.
• 22:13
It's spiral time. The hens are coming home to
• 22:17
roost and they're going to be laying silver and gold eggs.
• 22:22
Plus, it's an election year. We forget about that.
• 22:25
That's kind of been pushed off to the side, right?
• 22:27
They're going to be printing money like no tomorrow.
• 22:31
They're going to be saying things like those Democratic
• 22:33
senators that want to give us all $5000 a tax credit, which is
• 22:38
basically giving you $5000 to buy products that are made in
• 22:42
America. Hey, sounds good to me.
• 22:44
You know I'm going to buy American Silver Eagles with my
• 22:47
  $5000. They're made in America.
• 22:49
Hey, thank you for that super shat.
• 22:51
Are there any precious metal mining companies that provide
• 22:56
wow 200 likes Got to Ring the Bell physical certificates.
• 23:07
That's a great question that I'm not great at answering.
• 23:09
Odd wad DOB 85, I think. I'm not giving financial advice,
• 23:15
but there is a way that you can still get physical certificates
• 23:19
for stock but don't. I would call Fidelity or
• 23:23
Vanguard or Charles Schwab and ask them if that's the case, OK.
• 23:27
There's some people I know that are fervent believers in this,
• 23:31
you know, risk of owning stocks in a brokerage account.
• 23:36
That's not an area of my expertise, so I'm not going to
• 23:39
give a definitive answer on that one.
• 23:41
But I do believe there's a way that you can get the physical
• 23:44
certificates. OK, let's talk about this real
• 23:47
quick. I want to pull up another
• 23:49
article for you. And here just another headline.
• 23:54
No wrong 1 from 0. Hedge gold and Bitcoin close at
• 24:00
record highs as bonds and stocks dip.
• 24:02
And we're seeing that again today.
• 24:05
Let's go. Let's go over here and check out
• 24:09
the gold price. Guys, hold on here.
• 24:12
Let's see where gold is right now.
• 24:14
Go gold. OK, Come on, gold.
• 24:18
Come on, baby, Up, $15. All right, basement dwellers,
• 24:23
  I'm telling you, I know silver's getting a little bit of a of a
• 24:26
hammering today. We're going to be OK, 2128.
• 24:31
Wow, that is absolutely awesome. The quiet macro day.
• 24:39
I love this. Let's the grown-ups play talking
• 24:43
about silver and gold. And today saw gold and Bitcoin
• 24:48
roar up the record closing highs.
• 24:50
All the eyes and ears and algos remain glued to hints of QE.
• 24:55
This is what I mean. I don't even pay attention to
• 24:58
this. It this smoke and mirror.
• 24:59
Sorry, sorry, Fed. I don't even.
• 25:02
I don't play your game anymore. Right.
• 25:03
You're APR Firm hints of QE. What's a reverse twist, right.
• 25:09
Look, we have the mental capacity to learn what it is,
• 25:11
but whatever Waller Reserve and Fred's Bostick said today.
• 25:18
  I mean, they're just it's just become a joke.
• 25:21
It's become a complete joke. OK, I'm sorry.
• 25:23
I know you want to see me again. Here's what I wrote.
• 25:28
Bostic was hawkish and the are are dovish Who knows And the
• 25:32
market for gold. It's party time.
• 25:36
Then I said WTF is a reverse twist.
• 25:39
QEI mean it's all a bunch of wants you to put up the death
• 25:43
clock if you need. OK yes, Pat, I'll put up the
• 25:48
  death clock. Absolutely.
• 25:49
I'll. I'll do that here before I get
• 25:51
  off. OK.
• 25:53
And I'll tell you who gets it are central bankers.
• 25:56
Who gets what's going on right now in the world economy?
• 26:02
The world central bankers get what's going on.
• 26:05
And you know who else gets it? You get it, OK, you get it.
• 26:09
And you know who else gets it? A growing number of states in
• 26:11
the United States that are in the process of either passing or
• 26:15
considering legal tender legislation, that's who gets it
• 26:19
all right. Central bank still buying the
• 26:24
most in in recent history. Think about that.
• 26:27
I've did it. You know, we talked about the
• 26:28
central bank gold buying all the time.
• 26:31
The amount that they bought in 2022 and a little bit less in
• 26:35
2023 is record levels since like the 1950s.
• 26:41
OK, the 1950s when the world was on the gold standard.
• 26:47
OK, think about that. Wouldn't that kind of tell us
• 26:51
we're back on the gold standard or maybe heading in that
• 26:54
  direction? I would think so.
• 26:57
Central banks bought more gold since 1950.
• 27:01
They bought less gold in a lot of the years when we were
• 27:05
officially on the gold standard, right?
• 27:07
The 1944 Bretton Woods agreement, right when anybody
• 27:11
could, could redeem dollars for physical gold until the French
• 27:15
Charles de Gaulle ruined it for everybody, 'cause he was like,
• 27:18
hey, we'll take gold, we're going to send some boats over.
• 27:21
And Nixon said no, and they wanted to print.
• 27:24
That's a whole different story, OK?
• 27:26
It's just absolutely crazy what's going on?
• 27:28
We're going to go look at the debt clock because when Pat
• 27:31
  Holland asked Ron's basement answer.
• 27:34
So let's go to the US debt clock.
• 27:36
And you know, I've got a great live stream that you can watch a
• 27:41
recording of from last Friday with Ted, from Ted Speaks where
• 27:45
he went over some fascinating things going on on the Det
• 27:49
  clock. Really some great educational
• 27:52
  material. Let's go.
• 27:54
Are we up? Make sure I got this set up
• 27:57
  right. All right.
• 27:58
  No, I don't. Welcome to Ron's basement.
• 28:04
The world of tech. There we go.
• 28:06
You guys should see the debt clock right now in my big orange
• 28:09
  finger. OK.
• 28:11
Oh, my gosh. Can you believe that?
• 28:13
Hey, maybe we should stay on the live stream until we get the 34
• 28:18
  1/2 trillion dollars. Wow.
• 28:21
I mean, look at that. Let's see how long it takes for
• 28:24
  100,600. Seven, 100,800 thousand, 900
• 28:34
  thousand. Wow.
• 28:35
And if you're a taxpayer in the United States, congratulations,
• 28:38
you owe $266,000 in debt. And that's just the debt that's
• 28:44
on the books now. Ted likes to point to this.
• 28:48
Currency and credit derivatives, $621 trillion.
• 28:54
OK, And that's all backed up by the M2 money supply of $20
• 28:58
trillion. And again Ted from Ted speaks as
• 29:01
who pointed this out to us. It's very interesting.
• 29:04
And the USM two money supply is going down and Susie just texted
• 29:09
me. I'm going to Susie if you can
• 29:11
hear me, I'm going to turn on my walkie-talkie if you need
• 29:13
  something. OK.
• 29:17
  Very interesting. Hello.
• 29:22
Can you hear me? Uh oh, did we lose the live
• 29:25
  stream? Oh, my gosh.
• 29:30
If you guys can hear me. Susie, can you hear me?
• 29:34
  Hold on. Here we go.
• 29:37
All right, let's go back to the debt clock, guys.
• 29:39
  Let's. I'm just curious.
• 29:42
Currency and credit derivative, $621 trillion.
• 29:48
I'm going to click on that. Yes.
• 29:50
Yes, you have a question. Some of you are OK.
• 29:59
They gave you a super chat, so maybe you could answer that
• 30:04
question. Yes, dear, I will do that.
• 30:08
Thank you for pointing that out. And I'll see you later.
• 30:11
OK. I wanted to see what this credit
• 30:15
current. OK here a derivative or credit
• 30:17
default swap CDs is a credit derivative contract between two
• 30:20
parties. The buyer wow, receives payoff.
• 30:23
So that's the derivatives everything backed up by that
• 30:26
little bit of money. Let's run over here guys real
• 30:28
quickly And now everybody was all freaked out about and they
• 30:34
did a good job. They put arrows on here why the
• 30:37
dollar to silver ratio is 0. Remember that was a big, a big a
• 30:44
big like drama fest about four months ago.
• 30:48
That's because that compares the silver hold on a minute here.
• 30:54
If you click on the there we go, OK, the USM two money supply is
• 30:59
declining. Like we pointed out down here,
• 31:02
OK, is going down. That's why this ratio is 0
• 31:08
because it's it compares the year over year increase in the
• 31:12
money supply and that's divided by world production of silver.
• 31:17
But since the money supply number is negative, that makes
• 31:20
that number negative. The fact that the money supply
• 31:22
is going down is is is a scary thing.
• 31:26
That's only happened, as I understand it, during periods of
• 31:29
like depression and bad economic turmoil that went on.
• 31:33
Let me go back to the to the mainstream here and see if I can
• 31:38
see. I don't see my comments now,
• 31:40
Susie, OK, hold on, she said. There was a question that I
• 31:44
  missed. Hopefully we're still live.
• 31:50
  Welcome to Ron's basement, everybody.
• 31:53
Well, let's do this first. And Susie, if you get that
• 31:56
question and want to read it to me through the walkie-talkie,
• 31:59
that would be great. Hey, yesterday, our friend Big
• 32:03
Tim Silvershire is his YouTube channel.
• 32:06
Had Jake bring this to me. This is constitutional silver.
• 32:10
See if I can hold that up so you can see it, OK?
• 32:14
Or junk Silver. Hold on, Susie.
• 32:16
OK, go. Yeah, read it from the text I
• 32:20
  sent you. OK.
• 32:23
All right. We're going to read a question
• 32:24
then we're going to talk about gold's at 14th, almost 4, almost
• 32:29
  $15. Bear with me guys.
• 32:31
I want to read this question, Susie texted me.
• 32:35
OK, yes, I read that already. Are there are there any precious
• 32:39
metal mining companies that you can get the physical
• 32:41
  certificates from? And I.
• 32:44
So I answered that question. The other thing I want to
• 32:46
mention is and it's not a stock that I own right now but a very
• 32:50
interesting company Fortitude Gold as long as and they're
• 32:55
they're in Nevada, it's a company that I'd owned in the
• 32:58
past. I think they actually, if they
• 33:00
still do it, OK, when they they used to be known as Gold
• 33:03
Resource Corporation but they mine gold in Nevada and they had
• 33:07
a policy and they pay a dividend where and check on this yourself
• 33:12
but where you can get your dividend payment from the
• 33:15
company in physical gold and or maybe silver.
• 33:20
Greg Patterson was their investor right there.
• 33:22
Really a super great guy. And again I'm not sponsored by
• 33:26
them. I don't own the stock right now.
• 33:28
I did in the past, but a real interesting company.
• 33:31
But let's get back to this quick example about constitutional and
• 33:34
why and I appreciate Jake pointing that out.
• 33:38
Big Tim, hey, Big Tim. The Silvershire sent this to me.
• 33:42
So there's a 50 Cent piece, two quarters and four Dimes.
• 33:47
OK, it's $1.40 and this is all pre 1965 silver, right?
• 33:53
Listen to it. See, it sounds different than
• 33:56
change does today because it's made out of 90% silver.
• 34:00
What's interesting about the fact that this is $1.40 is that
• 34:04
for each $1.00 of pre 1965 silver that you have, there's a
• 34:09
dollar right? The 50 Cent piece and two
• 34:12
quarters. That's equal to point 715 ounces
• 34:18
of silver. There's .715 ounces of silver in
• 34:22
this, OK. The $0.40 is also .715% of
• 34:33
silver, so if you multiply the $0.40 * .715 you come to an
• 34:39
additional .28. So it's .28 ounces of silver
• 34:43
there and you add that to the basic .72 ounces of silver in
• 34:49
the dollar and you get 1 ounce of silver.
• 34:52
So this $1.40 of pre 1965 silver has a one ounce of silver
• 35:00
content. Another, simpler way you might
• 35:02
do that is get a calculator and multiply 1.4, which is the
• 35:08
dollar 40 of face times .715. I hope I didn't murder that and
• 35:14
you'll get one ounce. I don't think that I did.
• 35:16
All right, guys, we got more to talk about.
• 35:21
OK, let's go to this real quick. Just more.
• 35:24
You know, this is from Zero Hedge.
• 35:26
Bear with me. Here we go.
• 35:29
And central bank gold buying, this is, this is from our
• 35:34
friends at ANZ Bank, which is Australia, New Zealand Bank,
• 35:37
it's I believe the second biggest bank in the country of
• 35:41
Australia. They say net central bank gold
• 35:43
buying exceeds 1000 tons two straight years.
• 35:47
That's according to the commodity analyst and A&Z Bank.
• 35:50
Expect central bank gold demand to continue hot for at least the
• 35:55
  next six years. OK.
• 35:59
Emerging market central banks could purchase 600 tons of gold
• 36:02
annually until 2030 to take its share in the foreign reserves.
• 36:07
At 10%, China will likely occupy the lion's share in the global
• 36:12
official gold, gold demand. OK, let's talk about China
• 36:16
briefly and then we'll get back to this, guys.
• 36:18
China, Chinese people are crazy about this stuff right here.
• 36:23
OK? We had a big report come out
• 36:25
over the weekend. 800,000 people went to one shopping mall.
• 36:30
That's just one shopping mall in China. 800,000 people.
• 36:35
Why? Right there wasn't an underwear
• 36:37
  sale. There wasn't a circus.
• 36:40
No, those 800,000 people all showed up to buy gold.
• 36:45
Chinese people are the city, the the their central banks.
• 36:49
Crazy about gold, right? We know what's going on in the
• 36:52
Shanghai Gold Exchange, but the Chinese people themselves are
• 36:56
gold crazy. And the Chinese media reporting
• 37:00
  the interviewing people. Why?
• 37:02
Because they don't trust the stock market.
• 37:05
Because they don't trust the real estate market.
• 37:08
OK, because because they don't trust the banks.
• 37:11
They don't trust the currency. They trust gold.
• 37:14
Remember 1.4 billion people? I know I say that like 1.4 times
• 37:19
a day, but it's so important to remember and we're not even
• 37:22
going to talk about what's going on in India with gold and
• 37:27
silver. OK, let's read a quote talking
• 37:31
about price inflation here here. Depleted trust in the US fixed
• 37:39
income assets. That would mean our treasury
• 37:41
bonds, treasury bills and the rise of non reserve currencies
• 37:46
are other themes that could could support central bank gold
• 37:51
  purchases. OK.
• 37:53
Higher interest rates also lead to dollar strength, right?
• 37:56
According to A&Z, about 50% of the decline in Asian Central
• 38:01
Bank foreign foreign exchange reserves in 2022 was due to
• 38:07
valuation losses. The value of U.S.
• 38:10
Treasuries is going down guys in these countries and then it it's
• 38:14
a self feeding frenzy just at the time when we're going to
• 38:17
need to borrow record amounts of money.
• 38:22
The world is saying no thank you.
• 38:24
It's AI don't want to be negative, too negative, but it's
• 38:28
a but it's a spiral, he says. Here Jim Grant says this
• 38:33
generational bear market in bonds in an interview with Odd
• 38:36
Bots podcast last summer. He thinks it's the beginning of
• 38:39
a long term trend of a weak bond market with higher interest
• 38:43
rates that could last decades. And again, right, I'm on going
• 38:48
out on a limb here. Even if we have these higher
• 38:52
interest rate environment, it doesn't matter.
• 38:55
Everybody will freak out and say, oh, that's bad for gold,
• 38:58
that's bad for silver. No, because the real inflation
• 39:02
rate is going to be higher than the prevailing prevailing
• 39:05
interest rate. That will be negative real
• 39:07
interest rates, OK. When inflation is higher than
• 39:10
the prevailing interest rate, that means you're losing money
• 39:13
every year, OK. And that will drive people to
• 39:17
gold and silver. And that along with stagflation
• 39:21
and everything else going on in the world.
• 39:23
OK, here. According to ANZ, the recent run
• 39:28
of central bank gold buying could be part of a broader move
• 39:32
away from the dollar. The global monetary system is
• 39:35
evolving, with emerging markets pushing their own currencies for
• 39:39
international payment. China is reportedly settling

• 40:14

I mean, it's a big deal. We are the basement dwellers.
• 40:23
You're an awesome community. I'll see you tomorrow.
• 40:26
Be nice to yourself. You can.

• 40:31
people. When you're nice to yourself,
• 40:32
take care of yourself 1st. And then go do a few nice things
• 40:36
out there in the world. That's what US basement dwellers
• 40:38
  do. I'll see you tomorrow.
• 40:40
  Have a great, great day.
