- 7:52Speaker 2: He wasn't a good person at all. I mean, but
- 7:54Speaker 2: he was a dad.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean Tony Soprano is terrible.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Though good dad good, I mean not fathers were doing
- 8:03Speaker 2: dads this difference.

- 8:21Speaker 2: He called him Clifton when he was acting and they
- 8:24Speaker 2: were gotten to that little skirmish. He actually said Clifton
- 8:27Speaker 2: instead of whatever Clinton Powell's character name was. That is
- 8:30Speaker 2: asbian right there. Charles is Dunne is an actor, he
- 8:35Speaker 2: really and a director.

- 8:42Speaker 2: but Rock was a fantastic show. The whole dynamic, the
- 8:48Speaker 2: way they shot it, the way they acted that it
- 8:50Speaker 2: was like the dramatic.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Beasts, was super powerful.
- 8:53Speaker 2: The comedic beats were on point with Pop and his
- 8:56Speaker 2: brother Joey, and it was just great. The little Skip Rock.
- 9:00Speaker 2: They were doing some groundbreaking stuff back then with the
- 9:03Speaker 2: live recording.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Come to the audience. Yeah, yeah, I was amazing. Man
- 9:08Speaker 1: was amazing. It's a great character. So I'm gonna go Rock.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I'm with you on that. I'm gonna switch it up
- 9:13Speaker 1: because he was a father figure. But he was a dad.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Oh we could do father figure. I'm gonna do. I'm
- 9:20Speaker 2: but mind gonna make sense. And he's good coach Eric

- 10:22Speaker 2: to do Coach Taylor.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Watch out, man soprano back, you can have your coach.
- 10:28Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna go. I'll go Carl Winslow. Then.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I like Carl Winslow as a dad. It was salad.
- 10:37Speaker 2: He was good.
- 10:38Speaker 1: You know. He was annoyed with Erkle, but I mean
- 10:41Speaker 1: he was was. Yeah, he was good with his own kids. Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You know Laura Eddie.
- 10:48Speaker 2: When the one daughter he forgot about, you know, but

- 12:20Speaker 2: and then you know the low key adopted son of
- 12:23Speaker 2: a friend of his son with Omar Gooden, and I
- 12:26Speaker 2: just liked that whole family dynamic.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And he was a great father.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I'm not sure what happened to the mom in that show,
- 12:31Speaker 2: but that he was a great, you know, single father
- 12:34Speaker 2: and a great figure. And you know, I heard about
- 12:37Speaker 2: some I feel like they they took the time to
- 12:41Speaker 2: make that relationship important to the show.
- 12:43Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with Floyd Henderson and a smart guy. Okay,
- 12:49Speaker 2: I was gonna say, it's my last one, breeze yea.
- 12:58Speaker 1: If we before I saved my good father. You know

- 26:52Speaker 2: homeboy Nick had one, and my cousin had one. And
- 26:55Speaker 2: we all went to four different schools. Yeah, so we
- 26:58Speaker 2: would meet up at church on Sunday, bring our clothes
- 27:01Speaker 2: from the week. Pile pile, pile, rotate, rotate, rotate. We
- 27:04Speaker 2: all wore the same size. My brother went to a

- 28:27Speaker 1: Man, we didn't care. I was just like, yo, man,
- 28:29Speaker 1: I got to have it all right. I'm gonna go
- 28:33Speaker 1: Tommy Hill figure. Okay, Tommy, he'll figures gene shows. Wow.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I never had enough money for Tommy. So when the
- 28:41Speaker 2: rumor started that he didn't want black people wearing his clothes,
- 28:44Speaker 2: I was like, that's when we got in. Man, y'all
- 28:47Speaker 2: shouldn't be wearing that anyway, y'all because he rumor has
- 28:51Speaker 2: it he went on Oprah and said he don't even
- 28:54Speaker 2: want black people. Never said he said it to me
- 28:58Speaker 2: because I couldn't have it nowhere. Now I could have
- 29:01Speaker 2: Tommy gear. I don't know if y'all this was popular
- 29:03Speaker 2: where you were. There was a time in North Carolina
- 29:05Speaker 2: we had key chains and said Tommy Gear on them
- 29:08Speaker 2: and it was a super popular thing. They were like
- 29:09Speaker 2: a dollar or two dollars now before. So I was like,
- 29:12Speaker 2: I got a Tommy gear and it was like, man,
- 29:14Speaker 2: watch out, that's flea market stuff. But Tommy Hill figure
- 29:18Speaker 2: I remember, like a Leo would be in rat.

- 29:31Speaker 2: where y'all I definitely had to heal figure joints. Definitely,
- 29:37Speaker 2: all right, you are.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with now this is I don't know
- 29:40Speaker 1: if this spread nationally, and that's okay, Tony's personal. But
- 29:44Speaker 1: this was in Chicago. Tough. It was called damage damage damage. Yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 1: I don't know that. I don't know.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I don't know how far it spread, but I remember
- 29:52Speaker 2: I wanted some damage. It was damaged damage with no
- 29:56Speaker 2: D or no D no D damage. I wanted it
- 30:02Speaker 2: so bad.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Man. It was like jeans.
- 30:03Speaker 2: It was like a lot of distressed stuff and they
- 30:05Speaker 2: had like like artwork on there and stuff like that.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I wanted in on it, but I could I could
- 30:12Speaker 2: never afford it. But man, I wanted some and I
- 30:14Speaker 2: forgot about the brand. I forget what reminded me of it.
- 30:17Speaker 2: But it might not have spread beyond.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Chicago, but they was rocking it heavy before. While I've
- 30:22Speaker 1: never heard of this in my life. Man, I want
- 30:23Speaker 1: that damage.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I imagine if it was a Chicago was probably big
- 30:27Speaker 2: in the Midwest overall. Chicago be the first of stuff.
- 30:30Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna go Mecca. I remember Mecca, Big
- 30:35Speaker 2: New York Rappers, big Jeans, Tims, Mecca. I was living
- 30:40Speaker 2: on the East Coast at this time, in North Carolina,
- 30:41Speaker 2: which I guess is technically I don't know if it's
- 30:43Speaker 2: considered the East coast or the South.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Is it considered the south?
- 30:46Speaker 2: Okay, Well, at that time, we borrowed a lot of
- 30:50Speaker 2: our style from New York. New York Rap was ninety
- 30:54Speaker 2: six of North Carolina ninety six ninety eight. At that time,
- 30:57Speaker 2: New York rappers had the best clothes. New York Rap
- 31:00Speaker 2: just had. The member of uh NAS had what was
- 31:04Speaker 2: it called Esco or will Esco. He had his own brand.
- 31:09Speaker 2: So yeah, anyway, I wanted Mecca so bad. I couldn't
- 31:12Speaker 2: afford too much of it. Actually, remembering I didn't get
- 31:18Speaker 2: I didn't get none of the stuff. I wanted the
- 31:20Speaker 2: lot of the stuff I would get later on. As
- 31:22Speaker 2: the price is cool when it was prime heat.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Too pricey?
- 31:31Speaker 2: Is that it.
- 31:36Speaker 1: One more? All right? Okay, I'm gonna go with.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna actually go with starter, oh man, started them,
- 31:50Speaker 2: started coaching them, started jackets, anything started. Man, we was
- 31:53Speaker 2: all in on that.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Man. That was.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I wanted to start a baseball jackets whatever. I had
- 31:59Speaker 2: a starter. I had to start the Chicago Bulls stuff.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I had a starter Philadelphia Eagles coat.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Really yeah, in Chicago, I had it.
- 32:09Speaker 2: H I got this one in New Mexico. Actually, I
- 32:12Speaker 2: was really liking Randall Cunningham at the Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 2: I was.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It was the the throwback. It would be considered throwback eagle, now,
- 32:20Speaker 1: yeah it was.
- 32:22Speaker 2: It was the black starter coat. It was just blank
- 32:23Speaker 2: on the front, but the eagle was on the back
- 32:25Speaker 2: holding the football. I was like, I want that jacket.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Way. I would never rock another team now, but at
- 32:32Speaker 1: the time, jacket I wanted.
- 32:36Speaker 2: H I wanted the Cowboys won, the Bulls one, the
- 32:41Speaker 2: Horns one, the Bulls one probably top three Bulls one
- 32:45Speaker 2: probably is the best starter code to me, just the
- 32:47Speaker 2: black and red and Mike was at his best. But
- 32:50Speaker 2: remember the Raiders was fired, the Bulls, the Cowboys, and
- 32:54Speaker 2: then the Hornets had a dope barn purple untail. And
- 32:58Speaker 2: I asked my to beg my dad for one, and
- 33:00Speaker 2: this nigga got me a starter from Boston College.
- 33:05Speaker 1: I was like, and he made me wear it toned
- 33:12Speaker 1: for years because I begged. And I was like, where
- 33:15Speaker 1: did we even get this? Because we lived in North Carolina.
- 33:19Speaker 2: He never went to Boston, so I don't know if
- 33:22Speaker 2: he bought it from like a good will or something.
- 33:24Speaker 2: He's like, no, you wanted to start a jack And
- 33:26Speaker 2: I was like, man, I said, Bulls catalog.
- 33:30Speaker 1: He got that from the good will?
- 33:31Speaker 2: Man?
- 33:31Speaker 1: I said. People were like, where's what do you know
- 33:34Speaker 1: about Boston College? I was like, my dad thought it
- 33:36Speaker 1: was the Redskins.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Because the first year we lived in Alexandria, Virginia, and
- 33:46Speaker 2: the Redskins was right up the world in DC. So
- 33:49Speaker 2: that first year I was my dad thought it was
- 33:50Speaker 2: the Redskins. I hated that Jack Man. He made me
- 33:58Speaker 2: not even want to wear the starter no more. God
- 34:02Speaker 2: damn man, just just saying no, y'all said no for
- 34:05Speaker 2: all this stuff, why would you give me the wrong thing?
- 34:07Speaker 1: And it made me wear it? All right? He rock.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Is that it? Oh?
- 34:14Speaker 1: Michigan did have a good one too for Tony.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Oh he said, I said, Mecca, Yeah, okay, Becca was
- 34:24Speaker 2: before it started. Oh I was okay, oh yeah, because
- 34:28Speaker 2: you was was piggybacking. Oh you're right, you're right, You're right. Okay,
- 34:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna say I actually had a little bit of that.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Uh yeah, that was fire.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I don't mention is how you pronounce it. I never
- 34:46Speaker 1: knew how to s N y C always n y
- 34:49Speaker 1: C and d K and Y.
- 34:51Speaker 2: I love the Black Guests jeans. Yeah, those were jeans badly.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Those were fire, all right?
- 34:58Speaker 2: Moving on, Tony Blind ranking TV shows that start with

- 35:55Speaker 2: first ten minutes in the first episode. Cut it off
- 35:59Speaker 2: really like the way they was talking fast. It just
- 36:03Speaker 2: it felt at Naturals. Man was like, man, cut it off, Scandal,
- 36:06Speaker 2: It's great. Okay, I bet it is Scrubs. I like Scrubs,
- 36:13Speaker 2: but I'm gonna put Scrubs at. Scrubs is good. I'm
- 36:19Speaker 2: gonna put Scrubs at. I'm gonna put them in four. Okay, Okay, yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 2: siin failed one one he was.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Holding space for that one.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I didn't even think of siin Faiir. Really, I was
- 36:37Speaker 2: thinking of two other Essa's. Yeah, I forgot about some
- 36:41Speaker 2: sign fair one that's your favorite. Golly right, I got
- 36:45Speaker 2: no issue putting that in one? All right?
- 36:48Speaker 1: With that?
- 36:48Speaker 2: Okay, Severance seven, I wish I could put severans in twenty.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I'm not getting this show. I'm not getting what it's
- 36:58Speaker 1: putting down. How far are you? I think I'm in
- 37:00Speaker 1: episode like four? Yeah, you ain't even got to the
- 37:07Speaker 1: good stuff.
- 37:07Speaker 2: How long it take on four episodes in?
- 37:10Speaker 1: It takes a minute?
- 37:12Speaker 2: You know it did?
- 37:13Speaker 1: I like Jump BA had a really.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Good in them, but I got back at four. Oh no,
- 37:21Speaker 2: I like Breaking Bad from the Jump really good after
- 37:24Speaker 2: the pilot. It does start off slow, but they'd earned
- 37:26Speaker 2: your slow because at the beginning was crazy because in
- 37:30Speaker 2: this underwear it was like, man, I really sat down
- 37:32Speaker 2: on the back. Yeah, okay, Suits. Actually, i've seen a
- 37:38Speaker 2: few episodes of Suits. I enjoyed what I saw. Yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 2: Suits is good. So I got eight seven, six, I
- 37:48Speaker 2: throw suits at five? All right, so the last one
- 37:51Speaker 2: don't should be two more? Right?
- 37:54Speaker 1: Oh my bad?
- 37:54Speaker 2: There's two more ships creak. Oh yeah, Ship's Creek is good.
- 37:59Speaker 2: I'm gonna give than the three slides.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I love shit Creek. This creak is good. Catherine O'Hara
- 38:03Speaker 1: is so freaky. Yeah, she's great.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Such a good original concept, I mean original enough, Yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 2: pretty original. Fish out of water, Fish out of water,
- 38:16Speaker 2: opposite of Beverly Hills Wives. Sister one is better than
- 38:19Speaker 2: two because the fish out of water storyline is more
- 38:22Speaker 2: compelling than these kids. Succession succession, last one of succession
- 38:26Speaker 2: number two. Secession is good. I gotta finish it, but
- 38:29Speaker 2: I was enjoying it. Successions, but I wouldn't put it
- 38:31Speaker 2: into naturally now as you would. Yeah, but it's two.
- 38:35Speaker 2: That's it, that's it. Yeah, I'm happy.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I was going to throw the Simpsons in there.
- 38:38Speaker 2: What I was thinking about was the Simpsons and the Sopranos.
- 38:41Speaker 1: That's why I think it's always good that you leave
- 38:44Speaker 1: something off so you don't end up you know what
- 38:46Speaker 1: I'm saying. Yeah, that's that's a good move. Yeah. Yeah,
- 38:50Speaker 1: Sopranos isn't on there. It's a blind record. I can't
- 38:54Speaker 1: which one. I'm not getting it. I love it.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Melissa Melissa the same way. She was like, I you
- 39:01Speaker 2: also got to pay attention. She's like, it's not grabbing
- 39:03Speaker 2: me enough for me to want to pay attention.
- 39:06Speaker 1: All right, y'all. We'll see you in a week.
