- 0:00Speaker 1: Listen. My doctor told me I had this twitch on
- 0:03Speaker 1: my hand between my thumb and my pointer finger. That
- 0:05Speaker 1: muscle it just started spasm. Has ever happened to you
- 0:08Speaker 1: like a muscle spasm? Just flickering like a light. Yeah,
- 0:12Speaker 1: you know what he told me. He said, too much caffeine.
- 0:15Speaker 1: He said, have you been drinking a lot of caffeine?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Oh?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been drinking tons of caffeine. And he said,
- 0:20Speaker 1: that's why your muscles twitching.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Yep, that happened to you.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Sometimes my eye, my eye, I'll just twitch.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I get that in the eyepiece.
- 0:28Speaker 1: He said, it's either stress, caffeine or both. I set
- 0:32Speaker 1: up and doing both. Doc, I've been doing both.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Stress is the number one killer.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Well anyway, so he said, chill out with the caffeine
- 0:43Speaker 1: and it'll go away.
- 0:44Speaker 3: And he was, chill out with the stress. Bro chill
- 0:47Speaker 3: out with the stress.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It's harder to distress. The caffeine is under my control.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Just don't fucking pound tons of caffeine all day long.
- 0:56Speaker 1: But it's like my last juicy vice. I'd love it
- 0:59Speaker 1: so much.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:01Speaker 4: You cannot listen. I have a bunch of ices. Caffeine
- 1:06Speaker 4: is definitely one of them.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I fucking love cat.
- 1:09Speaker 1: And now I'm into these Macha LTEs. They're so gosh.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I love a Macho late because you get the caffeine high,
- 1:17Speaker 1: but you don't get his jittery. But then I'm just
- 1:20Speaker 1: drinking more caffeine because I'm like, give it to me,
- 1:23Speaker 1: especially when I'm directing, like I want to think. There's
- 1:26Speaker 1: so much coffee around and I'm just like ah, and
- 1:28Speaker 1: then I have a sugar free Red Bull and I'm
- 1:30Speaker 1: like ah. And so I went down a wormhole when
- 1:37Speaker 1: I was directing and where I was just having so
- 1:39Speaker 1: much caffeine that I literally started twitching. Yeah, And I
- 1:44Speaker 1: videotaped it to my I sent it to my doctor.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The muscle was like you know because in my mind,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm clearly dying because this is.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Not good, right.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So I videotaped this muscle just freaking out so he
- 1:55Speaker 1: could tell me like, hey, you had a good forty
- 1:58Speaker 1: eight years, but you're dying and you just roll back.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Have you been drinking too much caffeine? And I was like,
- 2:04Speaker 1: you have no idea how much caffeine I've been drinking.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So there you go, audience, and.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I love the more you know, they're good, I really,
- 2:15Speaker 4: you know, I'm going to have a vulnerable moment. I
- 2:17Speaker 4: hope Extended Family goes another season so I can get
- 2:20Speaker 4: my the more.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You know, don't you think it's gonna I mean, aren't
- 2:26Speaker 1: all signs pointing towards good?
- 2:28Speaker 3: I don't know, you know, you never know?
- 2:30Speaker 4: Is the This is what it is to be an
- 2:32Speaker 4: actor in Hollywood and being a working actor, you know
- 2:35Speaker 4: what I mean. It looks like from what everybody sees
- 2:39Speaker 4: that you know, I'm always working, but I'm not always working.
- 2:45Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 2:46Speaker 4: And because I'm not always working, I'm always thinking about
- 2:50Speaker 4: how what are other ways that I can work?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Because you have little mouths to feed?
- 2:55Speaker 4: Well, it's not just little mouths. I kind of get
- 2:57Speaker 4: off on it too, you know what I mean, Like,
- 2:59Speaker 4: let's be one hundred about it.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I like being on set.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I like, you know, I like joking around with the
- 3:07Speaker 4: crew and pretending I'm somebody else. That shit's fun, you
- 3:10Speaker 4: know what I mean. I just did it short recently,
- 3:12Speaker 4: and I had a great time doing it all for
- 3:16Speaker 4: the fact that it was, like, you know, look, there's
- 3:18Speaker 4: not a lot going on for actors right now. People
- 3:20Speaker 4: are really fucking struggling right now, you know what I mean?
- 3:23Speaker 4: And holy cow, I got the opportunity to work on
- 3:27Speaker 4: something else.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It's a blessing, you know what I mean. So I
- 3:32Speaker 3: don't know. I don't know where I was going with this,
- 3:34Speaker 3: but I think.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Where you're going with it is that you're really appreciating
- 3:37Speaker 1: this job, and not just because it because financially it's
- 3:41Speaker 1: money for you to take care of your family, but
- 3:43Speaker 1: you love performing and you're not always giving a chance
- 3:46Speaker 1: to perform, and you wanted to continue because you're having
- 3:49Speaker 1: such a good time.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Well said, thank you for jumping inside my head and
- 3:54Speaker 4: saving my thought.
- 3:55Speaker 1: No, no, I just think that you probably had a
- 3:57Speaker 1: point to make and then you're you're high, so you
- 4:00Speaker 1: lost the thread, but I helped you back. Hey you weed,
- 4:04Speaker 1: not even once?
- 4:05Speaker 3: No weed all times. More, you know, there goes my
- 4:11Speaker 3: opportunity at that.
- 4:12Speaker 4: They're like Donald, you know you had us and then
- 4:15Speaker 4: you did the more you know about how you love weed, And.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think that. The more you know committee
- 4:21Speaker 1: listens to the podcast, I think it'll be.
- 4:23Speaker 3: It's their favorite podcast. I'm sure of it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I think the people who decide if you can do
- 4:29Speaker 1: them more, you know, don't go ah, he smokes weed.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Look how about this? Look check this out? How about this?
- 4:37Speaker 4: If you can imagine it, they're probably fan of the
- 4:40Speaker 4: fans of the podcast.
- 4:42Speaker 1: A lot of people are fans of this podcast. It's
- 4:44Speaker 1: very popular. I can't believe it.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I was at basketball, Go ahead, what happened?
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's not the one where you dribble.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and you shoot the ball. You shoot the ball.
- 4:54Speaker 1: They gotta dribble if you're gonna walk or you get
- 4:56Speaker 1: to travel right.
- 4:58Speaker 4: And one of my son's tea he mates mothers came
- 5:01Speaker 4: up to me go ahead, and started reciting the podcast
- 5:05Speaker 4: and how she was getting a kick out of it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Really she enjoyed it. Did she say anything like this
- 5:10Speaker 1: Zach and Donald Gay newlyweds in house arrest.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I know she did it, but she'll tell me about
- 5:17Speaker 4: it the next time she sees me.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I hope. She says.
- 5:20Speaker 4: She doesn't listen to all of them, but she listens
- 5:22Speaker 4: to some of them, and she listened to the most
- 5:24Speaker 4: recent one.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Well good, I'm glad it's a very popular podcast. We
- 5:28Speaker 1: thank everyone for tuning in and listening. Uh, this is
- 5:31Speaker 1: so much fun for us. To do. We like to
- 5:33Speaker 1: get together and giggle. Daniel now lives in New York.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Joel Monique is down to get down.
- 5:40Speaker 3: No, hey, don't put that out there, like.
- 5:43Speaker 1: There's a song. We haven't heard the song, Joel, would
- 5:46Speaker 1: you mind.
- 5:46Speaker 3: We don't necessarily know what get that? Well, her mom
- 5:48Speaker 3: doesn't like that song.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Your mom doesn't like the songs.
- 5:53Speaker 5: My mom felt it was a tad inappropriate.
- 5:56Speaker 6: But I like the song.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Oh right, would you mind if Daniel played it right
- 5:59Speaker 1: here just to remind me.
- 6:00Speaker 6: Not mine at all?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Okay, Daniel? Then Daniel will then put the song right here.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Get the world out all.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Joel Moneique is down and get no.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Matter what's between your eggs tomorrow morning and you could
- 6:17Speaker 3: be making an eggs.
- 6:18Speaker 6: Joel Moaney is down, Get down.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Joel Moaney is down. What a tune?
- 6:26Speaker 3: What a I love? I mean?
- 6:29Speaker 1: I feel like if I feel like if Rihanna recorded that,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it would be a hit.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Wow, yeah, Joe, that would be a money Get down there,
- 6:39Speaker 4: get down, get down?
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah, gosh, you know, I just feel like, whoever I
- 6:46Speaker 1: forgot the name of the gentleman who wrote that song,
- 6:48Speaker 1: do you remember? Because we need to give him a
- 6:50Speaker 1: shout out, and he should write for Beyonce.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Yeah, shout out to Travis Freshner, who did you do?
- 6:56Speaker 3: Money?
- 6:56Speaker 6: Gets Down to Get Down song, as well as a
- 6:58Speaker 6: bunch of other stuff. We love Travis. Thanks Travis.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Beyonce's releasing a country album.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Hell yeah, it's gonna be good.
- 7:08Speaker 6: I already ordered the vinyl.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You already ordered the vinyl?
- 7:11Speaker 6: Hell yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 5: I got a text from Beyonce that said new merch
- 7:15Speaker 5: available right now. I ran to the website. I said,
- 7:18Speaker 5: I don't need a fifth T shirt in a year.
- 7:19Speaker 5: That's too many Beyonce, But I will order the blue vinyl.
- 7:23Speaker 4: To the vinyl is actually a cool freaking idea for
- 7:29Speaker 4: a country record. If you've gotta listen to country, you
- 7:32Speaker 4: gotta have the.
- 7:34Speaker 3: The crackle, the crackle crackle.
- 7:38Speaker 6: As on vinyl.
- 7:42Speaker 4: My daughter has Beyonce Beyonce record on vinyl, and when
- 7:45Speaker 4: she gets upset and up at us, she goes into
- 7:49Speaker 4: her room right when she gets sent to her room,
- 7:51Speaker 4: and she turned it up full blast, and all we
- 7:54Speaker 4: hear is I'm sorry, I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry, sorry,
- 8:00Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Us.
- 8:04Speaker 1: She gets mad at you guys and then cranks her Beyonce.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Ranks her Beyonce on us.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Are you guys laughing, Hell, yeah, we're laughing, man, I
- 8:13Speaker 1: would be cracking.
- 8:14Speaker 4: They think they're doing that to hurt us. It's funny
- 8:17Speaker 4: as hell, man, Like some of it hurts its scars.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Like my daughter when she was a kid, she would say,
- 8:22Speaker 4: but she's still a kid. But when she was really
- 8:24Speaker 4: really young, she would say, I never loved you. Just
- 8:30Speaker 4: a straight punch in the gut, right. But I think
- 8:33Speaker 4: about it and it makes me laugh too, because clearly
- 8:36Speaker 4: she loves me. But the fact that she was so
- 8:39Speaker 4: vicious at such a young age.
- 8:42Speaker 1: If I had kids and they were when they're mean
- 8:44Speaker 1: to me, and I know all kids say mean ship,
- 8:47Speaker 1: I would be so sad that would that would mess
- 8:49Speaker 1: me up. She said, I never loved you.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it messes me up. Bro.
- 8:54Speaker 1: John Cryer was on the Talk right before me, and
- 8:57Speaker 1: he did a funny, funny video about about wanting to
- 9:00Speaker 1: break up our romance.
- 9:02Speaker 8: That's how I saw that.
- 9:03Speaker 4: On TikTok, we'll say goodbye to TikTok Daniel.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Okay, and what do you think TikTok's going to go?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Way?
- 9:11Speaker 7: Dan?
- 9:11Speaker 1: You're our resident tech expert text.
- 9:14Speaker 8: To be honest with you, I would trust Joel and
- 9:16Speaker 8: this one more. But what I will say is that
- 9:18Speaker 8: I think it would go away before TikTok decides to
- 9:20Speaker 8: divest from all that Chinese money.
- 9:22Speaker 1: That's what I'll say. Yeah, so, Joelle, what do you
- 9:25Speaker 1: think the odds are that TikTok actually gets banned because
- 9:28Speaker 1: it's run by the Chinese government. Is that what's happening.
- 9:32Speaker 6: That's pretty much what they're saying.
- 9:33Speaker 5: The concern is that it puts American users at risk
- 9:38Speaker 5: for their information being stolen because of how China runs
- 9:44Speaker 5: their information gathering.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Is that what I want to say, when you say information,
- 9:49Speaker 4: are you saying like their identity or are you saying.
- 9:52Speaker 5: Anything you put on too TikTok. TikTok owns put your
- 9:54Speaker 5: face on their TikTok owns, that you put your voice
- 9:56Speaker 5: on their TikTok owns, that they can do AI do
- 10:00Speaker 5: implications whether they can use your face in ad images.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Instagram has a similar policy and that if you put
- 10:06Speaker 5: it on Instagram, it's theirs to use how they see fit.
- 10:09Speaker 5: But I don't believe they them take any ownership over
- 10:13Speaker 5: your image or voice. Uh.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But also one of the other issues is that that
- 10:19Speaker 1: the Chinese government, if they have pernicious goals, can spread
- 10:24Speaker 1: dissent among That.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Was also yes, absolutely, yeah they had because they put
- 10:29Speaker 5: out and I think some folks felt that China and
- 10:33Speaker 5: TikTok sort of proved this point when they sent they
- 10:35Speaker 5: blast out an message to all of their users to
- 10:38Speaker 5: be like, hey, call your Congress people and let them
- 10:41Speaker 5: know you don't want to lose TikTok. And of course
- 10:44Speaker 5: they saw huge influx and people responding, and they were like, Wow,
- 10:48Speaker 5: this could potentially be very powerful.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Potentially. It's proud. I think TikTok now is a number
- 10:56Speaker 4: one the most powerful social media outlet everybody we going
- 10:59Speaker 4: to have, you know what I mean? It just jumped
- 11:01Speaker 4: to number one. It was probably there already, but now
- 11:05Speaker 4: for sure for sure.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Because it's so addicting. It's like the uber crack rock
- 11:10Speaker 1: of social media.
- 11:11Speaker 8: It's funny that you say uber because I feel like
- 11:13Speaker 8: this is a very similar move we're seeing where like
- 11:15Speaker 8: companies are just deciding to influence policy. I'm trying to
- 11:18Speaker 8: remember exactly what it was. I think it was Prop
- 11:20Speaker 8: twenty two in Los Angeles. I think I could be
- 11:23Speaker 8: wrong about that. I'm sorry about the number I'll double check,
- 11:25Speaker 8: but Uber spent Uber and Lyft spent hundreds and hundreds
- 11:29Speaker 8: of million dollars advertising around the city being like, stop
- 11:34Speaker 8: this proposition so that we can continue to not pay
- 11:37Speaker 8: our ride shares a livable wage or give them health benefits,
- 11:42Speaker 8: and you can continue to be a gig worker who
- 11:45Speaker 8: like works on your own time. And it's like, when
- 11:47Speaker 8: you have that much money and that much influence, it's like,
- 11:52Speaker 8: when do you stop being kind of like an independent
- 11:55Speaker 8: company and start being this body that influences policy see,
- 12:00Speaker 8: And it's like that's when you really start to have
- 12:02Speaker 8: a conversation about like that is bad. That is bad,
- 12:05Speaker 8: Like TikTok.
- 12:05Speaker 6: To Minneapolis, up h Uber and Lift just left Minneapolis
- 12:09Speaker 6: because they passed alat that said you have to pay
- 12:11Speaker 6: them at fifteen dollars an hour.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Yeah, it's ridiculous. So it's like it's it's it's bad
- 12:17Speaker 8: And to say that you don't have that influence is
- 12:19Speaker 8: completely false.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Well, it'll be interesting to see how it ends up.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I mean, to have something so popular right now, for
- 12:26Speaker 1: better or worse, whether you love it or hate it,
- 12:27Speaker 1: the idea of it being banned is pretty pretty crazy.
- 12:30Speaker 1: It would be super surprising but possible.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yeah, so interesting to see how that one where all those.
- 12:35Speaker 1: People would go. Where would they go? Instagram?
- 12:37Speaker 8: Instagram also Chat might.
- 12:40Speaker 6: See an inflation and it particularly.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Is right, a lot of it disappears.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Whatever that algorithm, not the algorithm, but whatever the idea is,
- 12:50Speaker 4: it'll immediately be Instagram. Don't they have that shit already
- 12:55Speaker 4: with the reels?
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, reels, Yeah, but it'll be interesting. Would suck for
- 13:00Speaker 1: a lot of people that have you know, gotten their
- 13:03Speaker 1: fame and I assume their money from being TikTok fluencers,
- 13:07Speaker 1: because they would they would no longer have a fan base.
- 13:11Speaker 1: That's kind of what happened to Vine stars, right, They
- 13:13Speaker 1: just all of a sudden lost all their fans. Yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 1: or maybe they moved them elsewhere. I don't know.
- 13:18Speaker 8: They probably moved them to reels. I mean, Vine just
- 13:20Speaker 8: got eaten up and.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Then we weren't there. They were like there were like
- 13:23Speaker 1: real big Vine stars and then they like just turned
- 13:26Speaker 1: it off.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Oh dude, there were there's stars from every platform. There's
- 13:30Speaker 4: Instagram stars, there were Facebook stars, YouTube stars like just of.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Course, I'm just saying, if you're a TikTok star right now,
- 13:37Speaker 1: you're like fuck got to diversify your I gotta diversify
- 13:42Speaker 1: making tiktoks about how going to Instagram. Guys, look at
- 13:46Speaker 1: my fit. Check out my fit. I'll show you more
- 13:49Speaker 1: my fit. I'll show you more my fit on Instagram.
- 13:55Speaker 8: I'll show you less of my fit on only fans Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 1: My fit. You can see more of an on Instagram
- 14:01Speaker 1: and less of it on only fans.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Only.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Who know who owns only fans that's connected to somebody else? Well,
- 14:10Speaker 4: the people like Facebook and the people Facebook and Facebook
- 14:15Speaker 4: and Instagram are the same ship, right, Facebook, Instagram and
- 14:18Speaker 4: whatever that other thing.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I've never seen an only fans.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Well, I haven't either, I promise you I haven't either.
- 14:33Speaker 3: But I have. I have definitely. I have definitely gone
- 14:37Speaker 3: through the.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Age the cost page I had the last second gog No.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong, don't get me wrong. My thumb
- 14:52Speaker 1: has hovered over the button. I catch my thumb hovering.
- 15:04Speaker 1: But I don't want to be on like some OnlyFans lists.
- 15:07Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no no no no.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But I have, but I have curiosity.
- 15:17Speaker 8: Only Fans is owned by what's called let's see here,
- 15:19Speaker 8: Phoenix International, Phoenix International Limited. So some you know, some
- 15:24Speaker 8: limited holding company or something.
- 15:25Speaker 1: There's somebody out there. There's somebody out there or people
- 15:28Speaker 1: out there who are making money. Every time someone subscribes
- 15:33Speaker 1: to an OnlyFans account, that person's probably got a lot
- 15:37Speaker 1: of dough.
- 15:38Speaker 3: He Oh my god, are you kidding me?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, the guy whoever invented that or and owns a
- 15:41Speaker 1: piece of it. And every time some guy doesn't just
- 15:44Speaker 1: hover but pushes the button.
- 15:46Speaker 4: How do the Only Fans people who aren't doing like
- 15:50Speaker 4: the toes and the nudity and the sex work, how
- 15:55Speaker 4: do those people do like the ones that are actually
- 15:57Speaker 4: on there, like I'm teaching you how to play the
- 15:59Speaker 4: guitar today.
- 16:00Speaker 1: They don't really do that, do they?
- 16:02Speaker 8: Hell yeah, I think those people are probably more on
- 16:04Speaker 8: Patreon than they're on Only Fans just because of the
- 16:06Speaker 8: way that the market of the website has changed. But
- 16:08Speaker 8: they're there and it works the same.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Really, there's people and Only Fans that aren't showing.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Listen.
- 16:12Speaker 4: If I were a celebrity, I would fucking go on
- 16:15Speaker 4: OnlyFans and be like this is how we're gonna have
- 16:18Speaker 4: animation class today, guys and fucking and.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Then you whip your dick out.
- 16:25Speaker 3: My god, that's what that's that's what.
- 16:28Speaker 4: That's what all the comments would probably dude, fucking whip
- 16:31Speaker 4: your dick out.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Dude, we didn't come in motion. Take that fucking dick.
- 16:37Speaker 5: Oh No, do you guys know the highest paid person

- 17:53Speaker 1: But it's his money, Joel, can you tell me does
- 17:57Speaker 1: Iggy Azilia show naughty pictures or just wraps?
- 18:01Speaker 5: I think she is getting we might say celicious, but
- 18:05Speaker 5: I don't know how much she is actually showing.
- 18:09Speaker 6: I know, whatever she's showing.
- 18:10Speaker 5: The subscription price is twenty ninety nine and she's estimated
- 18:14Speaker 5: to generate around three hundred and seven thousand dollars a day.
- 18:18Speaker 3: What is she putting up there? What is she putting
- 18:20Speaker 3: up there that.
- 18:21Speaker 8: Is like underwear picks and stuff like that.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Get the fuck out of here, man, There's no way
- 18:25Speaker 4: Iggy Azalea just underwear picks is getting fucking me.
- 18:29Speaker 3: You could get that shit anywhere. I'm sure it's on
- 18:31Speaker 3: the internet. That's on the internet, Joelle.
- 18:33Speaker 1: We need you to join as a research project. Donald
- 18:36Speaker 1: and I will not glance. We have no interest. We
- 18:39Speaker 1: need you to do the recon. You can charge it
- 18:42Speaker 1: back to the show. Let us know what's happening on there.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Wait no, but then we're paying for only fans.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Bro No, just for Iggyzelias for what three days?
- 18:51Speaker 7: Too?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Well, what's the minimum time we can do our research? Do?
- 18:54Speaker 7: No?
- 18:54Speaker 6: Probably a month subscription, I think.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Daniel do you have only fans?
- 19:00Speaker 8: Do I have an only fans page? Or have I
- 19:02Speaker 8: ever used it?
- 19:03Speaker 3: No? Or do you have a subscription too only fans?
- 19:07Speaker 3: I do not.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I definitely don't want Why not, man, he could get
- 19:13Speaker 1: All you got to do is just paid the twenty
- 19:14Speaker 1: dollars If that's the.
- 19:15Speaker 8: Case, not paying twenty dollars for underwear pics.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I don't think it's I think it's way.
- 19:19Speaker 1: There's the actress, is it, Drea de Matteo? Is that
- 19:23Speaker 1: how you say her name?
- 19:24Speaker 6: Drea dan Mateo? Yeah?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, she has one, Yeah, she does. I think she
- 19:28Speaker 1: said that she I read that she doesn't do nude.
- 19:31Speaker 1: She does like you know, like you know, like what's
- 19:34Speaker 1: the magazine like Maxim Maxim kind of pictures. Yeah, and
- 19:39Speaker 1: then she.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Joelle enough to save her house or wherever she was staying.
- 19:44Speaker 5: She was able to continue to afford it post because
- 19:47Speaker 5: then the during the pandemic she wasn't working obviously like
- 19:50Speaker 5: a lot of folks, And she said this allowed her
- 19:52Speaker 5: to maintain her current living situation.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Donald, was it just pictures or was it videos? Not sure?
- 19:58Speaker 1: But what if Donald and I put like maximum style
- 20:01Speaker 1: pictures of ourselves?
- 20:02Speaker 3: That's what about to say you make money doing that.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Go to Runyon take off like get sweaty, take off
- 20:08Speaker 6: your shirt.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Do you want to go to run In and take
- 20:10Speaker 1: some sweaty picture?
- 20:11Speaker 4: I would probably die, but yes, let's go to Runyon.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Take off our shirts.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And we'll bring some like canola oil.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Nobody's gonna buy this.
- 20:22Speaker 4: We need to get our only fans going, nobody subscribing
- 20:26Speaker 4: to it.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I don't have to show nudity.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Okay, are we touching?
- 20:31Speaker 1: No nuts?
- 20:33Speaker 3: Are we touching?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Well, it depends how much more money do you think
- 20:36Speaker 1: we'll make If.
- 20:36Speaker 4: You'll make a lot more money if you touch I
- 20:39Speaker 4: think if we touch there?
- 20:40Speaker 1: What if I oil you up and just get on
- 20:41Speaker 1: your shoulders an eagle.
- 20:43Speaker 3: But you have to be like in your underwear.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I'll wear like a what do you call it? A
- 20:48Speaker 1: tiny beathing suit? Speedo?
- 20:50Speaker 3: A speedo.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to show oiled. I'm not gonna
- 20:53Speaker 1: show my junk.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Nothing not just well, it depends.
- 20:58Speaker 1: If I'm making that ty Zilia money tip.
- 21:01Speaker 3: What if it's shaft shaft? Nobody can you can disguise shaft?
- 21:05Speaker 1: You can disguise fans that account that the theme is
- 21:10Speaker 1: shafter balls and yes, yes, we show a little something
- 21:14Speaker 1: and the only fans visitors have to guess if it's
- 21:16Speaker 1: a piece of the shaft or a piece of I'm in,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I'm in, alright, should you get into the shows?
- 21:30Speaker 3: All right? Count of stories?
- 21:35Speaker 7: Show we made about a bunch of tops and nurses, said.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Here's the stories nets So gada here, Gada.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Here, Season nine, Episode three, Everybody, directed by Gail Man. So, Donald,
- 22:01Speaker 1: I hope you liked it, as mentioned, more than you
- 22:02Speaker 1: liked the last time.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I actually liked this one a lot.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Okay, wow, what a turnaround.
- 22:08Speaker 4: But I'll tell you why I liked it a lot.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Go ahead, because a lot everything that was going on
- 22:12Speaker 4: was your problem. It was Cox's problem, and even Lucy's
- 22:19Speaker 4: problem because you're her mentor made it so that it
- 22:23Speaker 4: was your problem as well, you know what I mean.
- 22:27Speaker 4: And so it made it feel like I was connecting
- 22:30Speaker 4: back to the old characters. I also liked the once
- 22:34Speaker 4: I settled into it, I kind of liked the idea
- 22:36Speaker 4: of these guys on television right now. You and I
- 22:41Speaker 4: are probably I don't want to be controversial or too controversial,
- 22:46Speaker 4: but the gayest couple on television right now.
- 22:48Speaker 6: When you watch this, this point, and so is willing Grace.
- 22:54Speaker 1: We're gayer than willing Grace.
- 22:56Speaker 3: We're gayer than willing Grace.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Did you have l Ward and where it's fo gone?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Okay, but there's no relationship.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Our relationship on television is my ideal relationship in real life.
- 23:09Speaker 4: You know what I mean That that's it's so fucking cute, dude,
- 23:14Speaker 4: and there's like you could it's a shame that you're
- 23:19Speaker 4: leaving in a couple of episodes.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I know, I do think the JD is. This is
- 23:24Speaker 1: my controversial take. He's such a dick in this episode.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I mean, outside of loving you and everything, he's so selfish.
- 23:31Speaker 1: He's so self obsessed, and he's going out of his
- 23:36Speaker 1: way to spite Drew because he's jealous of the attention
- 23:41Speaker 1: he's getting from doctor Cox.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Now.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I know people behave this way in real life, of course,
- 23:45Speaker 1: but I just hated seeing it from a character that
- 23:49Speaker 1: we want the audience to root for.
- 23:51Speaker 3: To me, it seemed to tell you why I hate it.
- 23:52Speaker 1: To me, it seems so overtly childish, And that's exactly it, right,
- 23:56Speaker 1: I'm not in the tone of the character that I
- 23:59Speaker 1: had thought I created.
- 24:00Speaker 3: You're a grown ass man. What the fuck are you doing?
- 24:03Speaker 6: Bro?
- 24:03Speaker 1: Right, what are you doing? You're you're acting like a child,
- 24:06Speaker 1: a jealous child, and really really really being horrible to Drew,
- 24:10Speaker 1: who's clearly a troubled guy who's trying to get his
- 24:12Speaker 1: life back on track. I didn't like that at all,
- 24:16Speaker 1: and it made me think, like, if we ever do
- 24:17Speaker 1: a reboot, like I don't want to. You know, I'm
- 24:20Speaker 1: forty eight years old and the character I think is
- 24:22Speaker 1: younger than me, but still like he's got to be
- 24:24Speaker 1: he can be silly, like I am a silly man,
- 24:27Speaker 1: but he's got to be a mature doctor who's who's
- 24:31Speaker 1: who's grown. And he can still have a best friend
- 24:34Speaker 1: Turk that that's like our friendship, but he can't be
- 24:37Speaker 1: like this infantile baby. It's just doesn't I didn't even
- 24:40Speaker 1: I didn't like the way it felt.
- 24:41Speaker 3: It doesn't track.
- 24:43Speaker 1: He's didn't root for him. I didn't know the show.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Also, you have a beard, and a beard as a
- 24:48Speaker 4: sign of wisdom and everything like that sees it, you
- 24:51Speaker 4: know what I mean, like sincerely, and then all of
- 24:54Speaker 4: a sudden, it's not that the beard's gone, but all
- 24:56Speaker 4: of a sudden, when the beard is gone, you're all
- 24:59Speaker 4: you're you're a student at one point. At one point
- 25:02Speaker 4: you're sitting in the audience of the class I mean
- 25:05Speaker 4: in the classroom, raising your hand, interrupting.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Also dressing I mean, I get it that JD, you know,
- 25:12Speaker 1: doesn't understand sports, and there's some funny jokes about that
- 25:15Speaker 1: in here. But like the dressing up, like the mascot
- 25:17Speaker 1: was like, what show is this? This is like it
- 25:20Speaker 1: just felt so silly. I know, this show is killing I.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Thought they were so cute at that point though, the
- 25:26Speaker 4: two of them walking in and him like, dude, I
- 25:28Speaker 4: can't believe you dressed up like this.
- 25:30Speaker 1: And you're like, I lock it and put the glitter on, right,
- 25:33Speaker 1: you get upset.
- 25:33Speaker 4: That you can't put the glitter. That shit made me laugh.
- 25:37Speaker 4: I was like, all right, these fuckers are cute as well.
- 25:39Speaker 3: There you go.
- 25:39Speaker 1: We're like ciscol All right, let's get to the top
- 25:41Speaker 1: of the show. JD says, let's go to the sauna
- 25:44Speaker 1: so we can sit, sir size um. It's funny all
- 25:49Speaker 1: these years later, I actually do like a regular sauna.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I never did before, but you do, now?
- 25:55Speaker 3: Do you like a steam? I do?
- 25:57Speaker 1: But I prefer sauna because I like it to be
- 25:59Speaker 1: really fucking and I want it to be so that
- 26:02Speaker 1: you can barely stay in for fifteen minutes, and when
- 26:04Speaker 1: fifteen minutes comes, you're like, oh, let me out, and
- 26:07Speaker 1: then you jump into the icle one ice. Yeah, so
- 26:10Speaker 1: that's for me that currently that's around like one hundred
- 26:12Speaker 1: and eighty four degrees.
- 26:14Speaker 3: When you start, do you start with the sauna and
- 26:16Speaker 3: go yeah, you.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Always start hot and you always end on cold.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Look at it.
- 26:24Speaker 1: What do you think of Drew's tattoo coming alive in
- 26:27Speaker 1: a weird computer graphic way?
- 26:29Speaker 6: Wild.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I didn't understand the reason.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I think that's his real tattoo, and they were trying
- 26:36Speaker 1: to make a joke out of his weird real tattoo, Okay,
- 26:40Speaker 1: because I think that's I mean, it was definitely definitely
- 26:42Speaker 1: a real tattoo that he had. I don't know what
- 26:44Speaker 1: I don't really know what it is. It's a mask
- 26:45Speaker 1: of some sort, but then it comes alive. They but
- 26:49Speaker 1: it's funny, it's not really a scrubs ish thing to do.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Too many computer CGI jokes.
- 26:56Speaker 3: But that was green screen face if you remember.
- 27:00Speaker 1: It's it's computer animated.
- 27:02Speaker 4: No, yes, but that was actually somebody with a green
- 27:05Speaker 4: screen face. Remember Rabbit Due's gone. Now there was a
- 27:07Speaker 4: new dude standing in for you. Do you remember the
- 27:09Speaker 4: general I forget the gentleman's name.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I forgot. But you're saying he had a green screen
- 27:13Speaker 1: head on.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but that was but he did the whole thing
- 27:15Speaker 3: where he did his head like this and right.
- 27:18Speaker 1: But I'm saying, if you look at season one through eight,
- 27:20Speaker 1: there's there's very few, uh, computer graphic fantasy esque jokes.
- 27:26Speaker 1: And this was I guess this was like season nine.
- 27:28Speaker 1: We're gonna have computer graphic jokes. Yeah, we're gonna shoot.
- 27:34Speaker 1: We're gonna shoot HD video and put so much grain
- 27:36Speaker 1: that it looks like we bought old film. And I
- 27:40Speaker 1: don't know if you also gave the flashes in and
- 27:42Speaker 1: out of the fantasies are different too. They're like more
- 27:45Speaker 1: of like a white and another weird. They're different.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Let's take a break.
- 27:49Speaker 1: We'll be right back after these fine words. So JD's
- 27:59Speaker 1: gets scared, and the tattoo says, mock him, and I'll
- 28:03Speaker 1: eat your soul, and JD says his breath was cold. Yes,
- 28:08Speaker 1: Lucy bangs cold again.
- 28:10Speaker 3: For some reason.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Well, she's clearly physically attracted to him.
- 28:13Speaker 4: He's very handsome, very very handsome, and now he's freaking
- 28:17Speaker 4: and I guess some of his jokes are starting to
- 28:19Speaker 4: become endearing to her. The only thing that I hate
- 28:23Speaker 4: the most is that he talks about himself in the third.
- 28:26Speaker 1: But wait, let me ask you something and Joelle, you
- 28:29Speaker 1: can weigh in as our official woman of the show. Okay,
- 28:36Speaker 1: why is she sleeping with cold? He's a douchebag? Is
- 28:38Speaker 1: it just because he's hot?
- 28:41Speaker 6: I have so many thoughts about Lucy's sleeping with Coal,
- 28:44Speaker 6: so many.
- 28:45Speaker 5: I mean, we could probably do an entire conversation just
- 28:47Speaker 5: on this relationship. Wow, I think one, it's easy. He's around,
- 28:53Speaker 5: He's there, that's comforting. Sex is a nice release, and
- 28:57Speaker 5: she's just like there. He is also low self esteem.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Why she's gorgeous and smart enough to be a doctor.
- 29:05Speaker 5: I don't know why she would have low self esteem,
- 29:06Speaker 5: but image has nothing to do with that.
- 29:09Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Lots of pretty girls are like, I don't look good
- 29:12Speaker 5: like it's confusing as to why you're here. When I
- 29:14Speaker 5: see this relationship happen in real life, and I see
- 29:16Speaker 5: it plenty of times, I'm just as confused as when
- 29:18Speaker 5: I see it on TV. What's happening, ladies?
- 29:19Speaker 6: Why do we do it?
- 29:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 29:21Speaker 1: I think it's because she does mention that he's good
- 29:23Speaker 1: in bed. She says something about his hands being strong,
- 29:26Speaker 1: and I think it's I think I think you infer
- 29:28Speaker 1: that they're having she's having a good time having sex
- 29:32Speaker 1: to them. And also he looks like Dave Franco. But
- 29:36Speaker 1: he certainly is a horrible.
- 29:37Speaker 6: Person, horrible, horrible person.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Who also did something horrible to her.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Right early on?
- 29:44Speaker 4: Is he being horrible in this episode when you're watching
- 29:48Speaker 4: Has he been horrible in this episode at all?
- 29:51Speaker 3: He's just an idiot when to see horrible.
- 29:54Speaker 5: When Mahoney walks in and he was like and she's
- 29:58Speaker 5: there for like advice support from her girlfriend who's like
- 30:01Speaker 5: ladies threesome, it's like, bro, calm down.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Like shot.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Shot, come on, come on.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I committed him for that moment. I was like, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 3: commending to you, boy, goodness your real situation.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Casey's friend walks in, You're just chilling him be and
- 30:27Speaker 6: You're like, I'm a grown.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Ass man right now. I'm a grown man right now.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Ain't no way Casey's friends walking into the room unless
- 30:33Speaker 4: she's trying to get something first of all. And the
- 30:36Speaker 4: only way Casey's not like, get the fuck out of
- 30:39Speaker 4: here is if Casey's trying to get something going.
- 30:42Speaker 3: So that's what happened. It happened, Donald, Are you kidding?
- 30:49Speaker 3: Let's say that ship now now if I'm not down,
- 30:52Speaker 3: I mean I'm grown.
- 30:54Speaker 4: If that ship happens, I would I think I think
- 30:57Speaker 4: I would be able to read the room in that moment,
- 31:01Speaker 4: you know.
- 31:01Speaker 3: What I mean?
- 31:02Speaker 1: Donald shot and she's like, Donald, she's here to measure
- 31:05Speaker 1: the drapes.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Why are we making in bed? Fucking Oh you didn't
- 31:12Speaker 3: add that you're in bed just like that dude going
- 31:14Speaker 3: to the animation room.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Oh, I love that story so much.
- 31:18Speaker 6: That's a great story.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I love that story. For those of you who hadn't
- 31:21Speaker 1: heard that episode. Uh, someone Donald's who wasn't someone selling
- 31:25Speaker 1: Donald's car. Donald invited into the animation room and he
- 31:28Speaker 1: tried to kiss him.
- 31:31Speaker 4: I thought, I listen, I was showing him my animation.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I thought he would appreciate.
- 31:38Speaker 3: The fact that I thought that was his tree. He
- 31:40Speaker 3: thought that was cool, and he was like, he shot
- 31:45Speaker 3: his shot.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Yeah he did, But you know, and he might there
- 31:49Speaker 1: might be like some sort of slang like that he
- 31:54Speaker 1: that you don't know. That's like, do you want to
- 31:56Speaker 1: go to my animation room? Means do you want to
- 31:59Speaker 1: play man.
- 31:59Speaker 3: That don't listen? There's no way, there's no way, there's
- 32:04Speaker 3: no way.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Just to make sure there's no way.
- 32:08Speaker 3: That's code in any it might be now I might
- 32:11Speaker 3: be I mean I might have still through tules.
- 32:14Speaker 1: That there's couples that are listeners listen if you're if
- 32:16Speaker 1: you're a couple that listens, this might be a good
- 32:19Speaker 1: way for you to secretly in front of friends or kids,
- 32:23Speaker 1: say that you want to hook up. You can be like,
- 32:24Speaker 1: do you want to go to my animation room? And
- 32:26Speaker 1: only your partner will know?
- 32:29Speaker 3: And everybody's like, huh, Like I'm an animator.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Yeah you know, and your kids are like, you don't animate.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm getting into it, Junior, shut up, darling. Would you
- 32:41Speaker 1: like to go to our animation room to our animation
- 32:47Speaker 1: Would you like to go to our wink wink animation room?
- 32:52Speaker 3: All right?
- 32:52Speaker 1: The second grade gym class fantasy that was That was
- 32:55Speaker 1: the most Johnny C. Must have been so happy that day.
- 32:57Speaker 1: That was the most Johnny C esque fantasy.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Hiding aim teacher he.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Got to fucking peg kids in the face with dodgeballs. Yeah,
- 33:07Speaker 1: he looked very happy. He looked like he was in
- 33:08Speaker 1: his element.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Nicki Wheeling not the face.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Yeah, poor Nicki Wheeling. She keeps getting I hope she
- 33:14Speaker 1: gets this plot line beyond her being dissed for her
- 33:17Speaker 1: looks eventually.
- 33:22Speaker 3: That's just like.
- 33:24Speaker 4: It's ongoing. It was less it was first episode, second
- 33:28Speaker 4: episode end.
- 33:28Speaker 1: So we're three episodes in and she hasn't had anything
- 33:32Speaker 1: to do other than be a hot girl. Who it's
- 33:37Speaker 1: beast all right, So coal trains to be number one. Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: Cole says, the coal train is coming for Drew. He's jealous.
- 33:51Speaker 1: He wants to be a Colonel Doctor. This hallway scene
- 33:53Speaker 1: where they confront each other where Cole runs up on Drew,
- 33:57Speaker 1: Colonel Doctor is in it like four times. So you know, normally,
- 34:01Speaker 1: for those of you who don't know when, the background
- 34:03Speaker 1: are sort of choreographed so that when you end up
- 34:05Speaker 1: cutting the thing together, they're in the same place at
- 34:08Speaker 1: the same time. That's why that way it makes sense
- 34:11Speaker 1: that the person travels across the room, and normally that works,
- 34:14Speaker 1: but sometimes someone can get out of their choreography and
- 34:17Speaker 1: they appear in the scene, like three places they shouldn't
- 34:19Speaker 1: be at once. Well, Colonel Doctor did that in the scene.
- 34:22Speaker 1: If you are interested at all, he appears like four
- 34:25Speaker 1: different times during this one scene. Colonel doctors everywhere, or
- 34:29Speaker 1: at least he's got triplets.
- 34:31Speaker 4: There are triplets of either that or whoever was the ad, Yeah,
- 34:36Speaker 4: fucked up the second ad?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Well, sorry, whoever was in charge of crossing.
- 34:41Speaker 1: It wouldn't be it would be like the the it
- 34:43Speaker 1: would be like the well, the second No, it's usually
- 34:47Speaker 1: like the second second or yeah or the first ad,
- 34:51Speaker 1: depending on what the show is. But somebody fucked up
- 34:53Speaker 1: because Colonel Doctor exists in it's like he's in the metaverse,
- 34:58Speaker 1: because he appears many many times in the back of
- 35:00Speaker 1: the scene, JD holds office hours in a tree.
- 35:06Speaker 4: See now, this at least is consistent. Also, this is
- 35:09Speaker 4: why I started to like the show. I was like,
- 35:11Speaker 4: all right, at least they're being consistent. All right, so
- 35:15Speaker 4: everything is going to happen in this tree instead of
- 35:17Speaker 4: that bench. That other conversation should have happened in the tree. Also,
- 35:22Speaker 4: you know what I mean. But I'm glad that this
- 35:24Speaker 4: started up there. And then the puns for the.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Learning tree has you have to branch out. I'm gonna
- 35:32Speaker 1: leave really bad dad jokes.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Oh, great, security guards are back. They're very That was lame.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I'm sorry they're bad. I hated it.
- 35:42Speaker 1: No, it's bad.
- 35:43Speaker 3: I hated it.
- 35:44Speaker 1: It's bad. Every time they appear, was it?
- 35:46Speaker 3: Men on film? Hated it? Hated it.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I think first of all, they're so clearly trying
- 35:52Speaker 1: to be the new Janitor, and Neil was so uniquely
- 35:57Speaker 1: bizarre and funny, and this is not a good, no
- 36:01Speaker 1: offense to the guys. They're very funny actors. It's not
- 36:03Speaker 1: their fault. It's just it's trying to replace Neils.
- 36:06Speaker 4: It's not working well the way that they're trying to
- 36:09Speaker 4: replace characters. You know, I like the horse stuff with Lucy.
- 36:16Speaker 4: It's very unicorny.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Uh, it's very She's like a JD in a young
- 36:21Speaker 1: woman's body.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Or just JD. Yeah, just JD or just JD. Yeah.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, horses are very unicorny. Lucy needs a
- 36:31Speaker 1: new mentor. So she's on the hunt and uh. And
- 36:35Speaker 1: then JD sees Turk and cocks hanging and he's so
- 36:38Speaker 1: fucking jealous and he writes why in his breath on
- 36:42Speaker 1: the glass and turk reads it backwards and what do
- 36:48Speaker 1: you do? Size? So JD hates Drew.
- 36:51Speaker 3: He said that, So this reminded me of Sean. Nobody
- 36:55Speaker 3: cares Sean.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Nobody cares Sean except that Drew's a student and j
- 37:00Speaker 1: He's being such a petty piece of shit.
- 37:02Speaker 3: JD's a teacher that it's so bad.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Do you think Cox bears any responsibility for egging JD
- 37:07Speaker 5: on in such an extreme way.
- 37:10Speaker 4: I think Cox wants this kid to I don't think
- 37:13Speaker 4: Cox wants the kid to crack, but I think Cox
- 37:17Speaker 4: wants this kid to experience all the annoying.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Look, he's a grown he knows Drew. You're grown.
- 37:23Speaker 4: You're a lot older than these kids. You're smarter than
- 37:26Speaker 4: these kids. Also, you know what I mean, we can
- 37:29Speaker 4: actually hang out. You're not a fucking kid. I can
- 37:32Speaker 4: actually you know, you've been here before you cracked. I'm
- 37:37Speaker 4: going to get you as close to cracking as possible.
- 37:39Speaker 4: I think he's being an actual great mentor to this
- 37:41Speaker 4: dude by making him, by making it so that the
- 37:44Speaker 4: kids envy him. I think he's taken on this challenge.
- 37:48Speaker 4: That's why I really like this episode, because it's not
- 37:50Speaker 4: about Drew. It's about Cox, you know what I mean.
- 37:54Speaker 4: But he's taking on this mentorship, whereas j D didn't
- 37:59Speaker 4: see the way he taking on the mentorship he does.
- 38:02Speaker 4: He did JD the way he's doing all the other interns,
- 38:05Speaker 4: you know what I mean, through fear. If you make
- 38:08Speaker 4: it through, that's great. But this one, he's like, I'm
- 38:11Speaker 4: gonna do it different. Let's let's switch it up.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I know.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But it's so horrible how JD is getting in the
- 38:17Speaker 1: way of that mentorship out of his own insecurity. It's like, yeah,
- 38:21Speaker 1: that does. You had a chance, you had a chance
- 38:22Speaker 1: to be a student, and we saw all that. Now
- 38:25Speaker 1: now you're a grown man, you're a teacher yourself, and.
- 38:28Speaker 3: You're freaking you guys are best friends. You guys are buddies,
- 38:31Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 38:32Speaker 4: People will say, well, don't forget that he saw Turk
- 38:35Speaker 4: and Cox in the restaurant, I mean in the bar
- 38:40Speaker 4: drinking beer watching sports, because they're watching sports.
- 38:43Speaker 1: And JD says, I saw you canoodling in that sports
- 38:46Speaker 1: themed tavern, pretending you like beer.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Me, we actually do like beer. JD.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Canoodling in that sports themed tavern is the word tavern.
- 38:58Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna take a break and when we
- 39:00Speaker 1: come back, we will talk about one thing I did
- 39:02Speaker 1: make me laugh out loud uh in the episode, and
- 39:05Speaker 1: I will say it after this break.
- 39:08Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about.
- 39:15Speaker 1: And I laughed when this wasn't my lo o l
- 39:21Speaker 1: but I laughed when you said you're John damn Dorian.
- 39:25Speaker 1: And then I said, okay, we if we do a
- 39:26Speaker 1: chess bump, don't flex because it always knocks the wind
- 39:28Speaker 1: out of me.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I flex and you go. See.
- 39:32Speaker 1: It made me think about when you chest bumped Donald
- 39:34Speaker 1: chess bump Momoa in one of the outtakes and the
- 39:37Speaker 1: T Mobile commercial and Donald literally not doing a bit.
- 39:40Speaker 1: He literally fell back.
- 39:41Speaker 3: From lost my balance. Yeah, I lost my balance.
- 39:45Speaker 1: They jumped up in the air during one of the
- 39:47Speaker 1: takes and meant to chest bump and literally Momoa just
- 39:49Speaker 1: stayed there and Donald fell flat back.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Here's the thing, I one. I had to jump. I
- 39:57Speaker 3: haven't I haven't had to jump in a really long time.
- 39:59Speaker 3: But I had to jump to do the chest bump.
- 40:03Speaker 4: So when I landed from the bump in the air,
- 40:06Speaker 4: when I landed, I didn't land on my toes.
- 40:10Speaker 3: I kind of landed in the middle of the toe.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Why are you trying to qualify it. It's just funny
- 40:14Speaker 1: that Jason momore chest bumped you to the ground.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Because I could have caught my balance. But when I
- 40:20Speaker 4: realized I was going over for the camera. Oh, in
- 40:25Speaker 4: my mind, I said, this is way funnier.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I didn't know that. I thought you really not care
- 40:32Speaker 1: you're saying you leaned into the joke. Yes, I get
- 40:34Speaker 1: it now, Well that's less satisfying.
- 40:37Speaker 3: I'm sorry. All right.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Here's where I laughed out loud. When Lucy is walking
- 40:41Speaker 1: backwards and she falls and onto a patient and she says,
- 40:45Speaker 1: I'm on your tube and that's how.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I eat.
- 40:54Speaker 1: That shit was funny.
- 40:56Speaker 3: That was very funny.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I think I'm on your tube, Dads.
- 41:02Speaker 3: He was. He was actually eating at that moment.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Yeah, upset about it. She was on the breast. Let's second,
- 41:11Speaker 1: He's like, that's the vegetables. Get up, all right. Lucy
- 41:19Speaker 1: wants to shadow Joe. Joe wants no part of it.
- 41:23Speaker 1: JD then crashes Turk's operation. This was so weird.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Okay, wait, hold up, let's go let's hold up, let's
- 41:28Speaker 4: go back all right. So Lucy wants to shadow Joe.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Joe says go shadow Turk. She's like, get out of here.
- 41:37Speaker 4: I can't because he's so knee deep in this new intern.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Turn he was an intern. His new intern turns out
- 41:47Speaker 4: to be a man that's older than Turk but is
- 41:51Speaker 4: now back in medicool school and he's shadowing him and
- 41:54Speaker 4: he's a yes man too, So he's.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Like, I don't think that guy should be in charge
- 41:59Speaker 1: of the ana though. That's what I didn't understand, Like,
- 42:01Speaker 1: I don't think that that but even though he's an
- 42:04Speaker 1: older guy, he didn't seem qualified to be in charge
- 42:07Speaker 1: of fantasy. No woman have to.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Actually be a doctor to be an anesthesiologist.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I'm just saying that I don't think that, like, uh,
- 42:17Speaker 1: someone who wasn't up to the task would be in
- 42:20Speaker 1: charge of putting someone down in surgery.
- 42:23Speaker 3: That shit turned into all of a sudden, the Three Stooges.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and that guy was just shy of bringing up
- 42:29Speaker 1: a sub sandwich. You mean, like, sorry, I'm in the
- 42:31Speaker 1: middle of lunch, right, right, right, right, So check this out.
- 42:36Speaker 1: So the if I'm correct, and I could be wrong,
- 42:41Speaker 1: that guy and the guy who's the.
- 42:46Speaker 4: The other security security guard we're writing partnersh oh okay.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Interesting that could be true. Well, they were, they were.
- 42:56Speaker 1: He was a funny actor. I just didn't understand the
- 42:58Speaker 1: storyline of him in charge of anesthesia that felt like,
- 43:01Speaker 1: you're right, it felt like three stooges.
- 43:03Speaker 3: It all of a sudden got very very slapsticky. He's
- 43:07Speaker 3: like this thing.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Yeah, He's like, I don't know to use this thing.
- 43:10Speaker 1: It's crazy. This machine I'm in over my head. And
- 43:15Speaker 1: the woman's like the woman keeps waking up.
- 43:17Speaker 3: And you're like, You're like, shouldn't you should you should be?
- 43:23Speaker 1: And then you do the what would Jade d what
- 43:25Speaker 1: would John Dan do do? And then she's like you
- 43:28Speaker 1: put in too many d's.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Yeah, why isn't she asleep?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Why isn't she asleep? All right, So that happened. Now Joe,
- 43:38Speaker 1: there's a twelve year old but Joe has a patient
- 43:40Speaker 1: that is ill, and Lucy's trying to shadow her and
- 43:44Speaker 1: the patient that still has a twelve year old boy,
- 43:47Speaker 1: and Joe tries to get Drew to babysit him. He
- 43:51Speaker 1: doesn't like children, so Joe has to look after this
- 43:57Speaker 1: kid himself while Lucy takes the patient to go get MRI.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I did get goosebumps when She comes back and says,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I didn't understand that Lucy wouldn't. I know, it was
- 44:07Speaker 1: probably just for the story, but I would have thought
- 44:09Speaker 1: Lucy would be able to read an MRI. Know it
- 44:11Speaker 1: was bad news at this point in her track. But
- 44:14Speaker 1: maybe that's wrong. I don't know. But she asked Joe
- 44:19Speaker 1: to read the MRI and Joe says, she's dying. And
- 44:22Speaker 1: I thought that was a good moment. I got goosebumps
- 44:24Speaker 1: at that moment.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. It was well. I liked that. I
- 44:27Speaker 3: liked the connection that Eliza Koop and the kid created
- 44:31Speaker 3: in the scene. Also, it was actually good, right was
- 44:35Speaker 3: char Yeah? Very and so was she.
- 44:40Speaker 4: I liked that a lot, and so I agree with you.
- 44:43Speaker 4: This is when the show started really getting interesting. Also
- 44:45Speaker 4: for me because now.
- 44:49Speaker 3: And it's just me and I think this is a
- 44:52Speaker 3: great thing for the writers.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Everybody who had the problem in the show was old
- 44:57Speaker 4: school scrubs.
- 44:58Speaker 3: So even though a lot.
- 45:01Speaker 4: You know, part of the intern cast or med school cast,
- 45:06Speaker 4: she was an intern for two seasons before this, you
- 45:09Speaker 4: know what I mean, And so I'm well invested in
- 45:14Speaker 4: her problems because I've been watching her, you know what
- 45:18Speaker 4: I mean. Like if that's another thing. Maybe if they
- 45:21Speaker 4: would have bought familiar interns. I know, it's a different story,
- 45:24Speaker 4: maybe you'll want that.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Like.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Well, but like you know, but like.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Sonny or you know, I'm sure, and Sonny does make
- 45:36Speaker 4: an appearance later on. But if they would have bought
- 45:39Speaker 4: in those guys and we followed that, maybe, but they
- 45:42Speaker 4: just went straight up med school.
- 45:44Speaker 1: And I did say that Mike is really a good actor.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely, They're all great actors.
- 45:50Speaker 4: His story only works because it's connected to doctor Cox,
- 45:53Speaker 4: you know what I mean. You're invested because it's Cox.
- 45:56Speaker 4: When it's not them, you don't get. It's hard to
- 45:59Speaker 4: be invested in the And it's not the actor's fault.
- 46:02Speaker 4: It's the fault of the way that we shouldn't be
- 46:06Speaker 4: on the show Man. It should be somebody completely, it
- 46:08Speaker 4: should be completely there should just be one of us,
- 46:11Speaker 4: you know.
- 46:11Speaker 3: What I mean.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I'm just saying, I'm not I'm not minimizing any of
- 46:15Speaker 1: the wonderful actors when I compliment someone else. But I'm saying,
- 46:18Speaker 1: I noticed what a good actor Mike Mosley is in
- 46:20Speaker 1: this episode.
- 46:21Speaker 3: He's so good.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a very talented guy. Yeah, I thought I
- 46:26Speaker 1: thought I thought every moment he managed to ride that line,
- 46:29Speaker 1: which which is very tricky in Scrubs, which is I
- 46:33Speaker 1: don't know. To be honest, I don't think I'm riding
- 46:35Speaker 1: the line very well in this episode. I think I'm
- 46:37Speaker 1: so broad and silly and I'm in a different I'm in,
- 46:41Speaker 1: I'm in I'm in a slapstick show in my mind.
- 46:43Speaker 1: But I watched Mike, and I said, he's riding the
- 46:45Speaker 1: line really well. He's playing all of the all of
- 46:47Speaker 1: it straight, like it's all real. Granted, he's not tasked
- 46:51Speaker 1: with wearing owl cat makeup and working out of a tree,
- 46:55Speaker 1: but uh, but I thought that he was playing it
- 46:58Speaker 1: really believably well.
- 46:59Speaker 4: Maybe that's another reason why I liked that storyline too,
- 47:03Speaker 4: because it reminded it wasn't as slapsticky as everything else was.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Although it's hard to believe that Drew doesn't have to
- 47:10Speaker 1: run a code at this point in his medical career,
- 47:13Speaker 1: they sure did take their time getting a crash card
- 47:16Speaker 1: to this patient. They're just like, Okay, he's coding, what
- 47:19Speaker 1: do we do? And I know that this is part
- 47:20Speaker 1: of teaching, But like anyone who's seen the TV show
- 47:23Speaker 1: in their life knows the first part is to get
- 47:25Speaker 1: a crash card to the patient. They're just sitting there
- 47:28Speaker 1: talking and he's like, I don't know what to do.
- 47:29Speaker 1: It's like, bro, you know to fucking ask for the
- 47:32Speaker 1: crash card. I mean, you've seen an episode of Scrubs.
- 47:39Speaker 3: You've got it. You had to have seen er by
- 47:41Speaker 3: now right.
- 47:41Speaker 1: You never seen an R or Scrubs or grays Anatomy.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You could just fucking yell, crash card. What's wrong with you?
- 47:45Speaker 3: Ask what a crash card? First?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Yeah? Even I could tell you to yell for the
- 47:49Speaker 1: crash card. I'm not I haven't been all this medical
- 47:51Speaker 1: what's going on?
- 47:52Speaker 3: He's coding. He's coding, Yeah, crash card, that's just standard.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Then just let the nurses do their things. Slowly slink
- 48:00Speaker 1: away way No, But he really panics in that moment.
- 48:07Speaker 1: As I'm sure we're joking, but I'm sure many a
- 48:09Speaker 1: doctor who's training panics because someone's life is truly literally
- 48:14Speaker 1: in your hands. And he panics, and then JD steps in.
- 48:19Speaker 1: But I again, I just had so much trouble, Like,
- 48:22Speaker 1: of course you he's gonna step in. He's a fucking
- 48:24Speaker 1: supposed to be a great doctor. But then like the
- 48:26Speaker 1: smirk on not smirk, but the look on his face like,
- 48:29Speaker 1: now I'm going to get attention from Cox. I that
- 48:31Speaker 1: was so lame.
- 48:32Speaker 4: No, I don't think that was so when I looked
- 48:35Speaker 4: at it. That's what the voiceover said. But the look
- 48:38Speaker 4: on his face to me looked like he was worried
- 48:41Speaker 4: about Cox, And I think the voiceover for me, the
- 48:43Speaker 4: voiceover didn't match the look.
- 48:47Speaker 3: That he had.
- 48:48Speaker 1: How do you mean he was worried about Cox.
- 48:49Speaker 4: Because he knows how important this kid is to him,
- 48:52Speaker 4: And even though he's joking, this would have been a
- 48:54Speaker 4: better story. He knows how important the kid is to him,
- 48:57Speaker 4: and he knows how invested he is in and and
- 49:00Speaker 4: how much of this kid's career is now in his hands,
- 49:04Speaker 4: and how he wants it to work. It would have
- 49:06Speaker 4: been better if, yeah, JD's complaining about it, But when
- 49:10Speaker 4: the moment happens, it's you know, I fucking wanted to
- 49:14Speaker 4: gloat at this moment in time, but I couldn't help
- 49:16Speaker 4: but think about my friend.
- 49:17Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 49:18Speaker 4: That's a better story, you know what I mean? And
- 49:21Speaker 4: instead it went to it went to haaa, I'm the
- 49:26Speaker 4: fucking number two.
- 49:27Speaker 3: I'm number one again.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Right, which I didn't like. I also don't feel there's
- 49:31Speaker 1: any reason for co. It would have been more interesting
- 49:33Speaker 1: if Cox and JD had some sort of legit friendship.
- 49:37Speaker 1: In this episode. JD feels like a fucking stalker. Mm hmm, Like, Stan,
- 49:42Speaker 1: what's this thing?
- 49:42Speaker 3: Stan stand he's done cold? I'm wondering.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he feels like at all, Yeah, why would Cox
- 49:52Speaker 1: want to be friends with this guy who's fucking obsessed
- 49:54Speaker 1: with him?
- 49:55Speaker 3: It's like, dear Slim, I wrote you, but you still
- 49:57Speaker 3: ain't calling.
- 49:58Speaker 1: It would have been cooler if if, like, and maybe
- 50:01Speaker 1: this will happen, if there's a reboot or something, We're like, no,
- 50:04Speaker 1: they're they're friends now, like you know, they're their colleagues.
- 50:07Speaker 1: He can still he can still diss them and be
- 50:09Speaker 1: like a big brother to them in a way that
- 50:12Speaker 1: the Bill in some ways is to me. He feels
- 50:15Speaker 1: like a big brother who's still sometimes you know, big brotherish,
- 50:20Speaker 1: but they're friends. Yeah, I mean that would be more
- 50:23Speaker 1: interesting to me. Definitely.
- 50:24Speaker 3: I thought that was the way that this was going
- 50:26Speaker 3: to go.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Well it's not. JD's like a fucking stalker wearing owl makeup.
- 50:30Speaker 4: The other thing that's crazy is that so at the
- 50:32Speaker 4: end of it, he goes and talks for both kids
- 50:36Speaker 4: right at the end, right he talks for Lucy and
- 50:39Speaker 4: he talks.
- 50:39Speaker 3: For for Drew.
- 50:41Speaker 4: It could have gotten there to say at the same time,
- 50:44Speaker 4: and the argument should have been between j D and Cox.
- 50:49Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 50:50Speaker 4: I don't know, man, I just I feel like it
- 50:52Speaker 4: just missed the mark the story. The end of the
- 50:55Speaker 4: story is the right ending, it's just the in between there.
- 50:59Speaker 4: I would have liked it if the push and pull
- 51:02Speaker 4: would have been between JD and Cox for the rest
- 51:05Speaker 4: of the episode at.
- 51:06Speaker 1: That And I would like to believe that there's any
- 51:09Speaker 1: redeeming value in cos wanting to have a friendship with JD.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Right now, it's like, why would I want to be
- 51:15Speaker 1: friends with the fucking goofball who's like trapped in a
- 51:18Speaker 1: twelve year old's body? Sorry, Joe, what were you gonna say?
- 51:21Speaker 5: I was gonna say, continuing on this idea of like friendship,
- 51:24Speaker 5: I thought in an older version of Scrubs, Turk would
- 51:27Speaker 5: have gone way harder on JD.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Oh Yeah, Like, dude, what if what the fuck are
- 51:31Speaker 3: you doing? Bro? You're gonna he just came to you
- 51:33Speaker 3: for advice? If we would have did that and got dissed. Man,
- 51:37Speaker 3: we had each other. This dude has nobody bro come on.
- 51:42Speaker 5: I like the moment where Turk would like suddenly be
- 51:44Speaker 5: like the most mature person in the room. It like
- 51:46Speaker 5: happened periodically. You'd be like, oh wow, like Turk's like
- 51:48Speaker 5: an actual full a.
- 51:50Speaker 6: Don't you were giving these moments with these like little
- 51:52Speaker 6: side eyes where were like why are you doing these?
- 51:54Speaker 5: Man?
- 51:54Speaker 6: I kept waiting. I'm like, Turk, go in, go in,
- 51:56Speaker 6: and he just never does. I was missing it a
- 51:57Speaker 6: little bit.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Those are rare moments.
- 51:59Speaker 4: I think was really the one that that's the missing
- 52:02Speaker 4: factor right now is the grounding of this show.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Carlo. Yeah, that's true. She's not even referenced.
- 52:10Speaker 4: I read on Scrubs she's referenced. She's referenced. I thought
- 52:14Speaker 4: we were leaving our wives at home.
- 52:16Speaker 1: I know, I'm telling you that. On Scrubs Wiki, it
- 52:19Speaker 1: says this is the first season nine episodes in which
- 52:21Speaker 1: Carla is mentioned. Specific details are not given, but Turk
- 52:25Speaker 1: mentions they are still together. Yeah, okay, so then we
- 52:29Speaker 1: do that. There's that we're at the bar. JD talks
- 52:31Speaker 1: about how much he loves sports, grass and how lovely
- 52:34Speaker 1: it is. He calls beer sticky, and the guys imagine
- 52:39Speaker 1: that that their dream would be to have candy hands.
- 52:43Speaker 1: That turns anything to candy, and.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Drew has a vulnerable moment. He comes up to doctor
- 52:48Speaker 4: Cox and he says, you know, I fucked up?
- 52:53Speaker 3: Do you think you could forgive me? Right? And coxes,
- 52:57Speaker 3: I get to fuck out of here?
- 52:58Speaker 1: Yeah, which is b And then this was so bad
- 53:02Speaker 1: like Denise, Denise won't give the child her number to
- 53:06Speaker 1: call her. That just felt like a bridge too far
- 53:09Speaker 1: from me, don't I know it's I know it's a
- 53:12Speaker 1: story point, but it's like when the little boys like
- 53:14Speaker 1: this is gonna be hard. We will I be able
- 53:17Speaker 1: to call you?
- 53:18Speaker 5: No?
- 53:18Speaker 6: No, my mom's dying.
- 53:25Speaker 3: I tracked my mom.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I just fell out. I'm twelve. Can I have your
- 53:29Speaker 1: number to ask questions?
- 53:30Speaker 3: No? It's tracks though.
- 53:33Speaker 4: She was like that, and she's been like, I won't
- 53:35Speaker 4: you know, she doesn't really do the heartfelt stuff to
- 53:40Speaker 4: a child.
- 53:41Speaker 1: That just felt so fucking rough. Yeah, okay, like you said,
- 53:46Speaker 1: Lucy's a horse girl.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Uh.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Denise comes in. She says that that she's that they
- 53:52Speaker 1: were studying and fornicating, and then we shot. We get
- 54:00Speaker 1: the song the Wheepies, the Weepees song Can't Go Back Now,
- 54:03Speaker 1: which is a really pretty song that ends this episode.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I recommend the Wheepies if you don't know them. They're
- 54:08Speaker 1: a beautiful band. And then this sports grass thing again
- 54:13Speaker 1: at the end, and then JD confronts cox in a
- 54:15Speaker 1: in a in a good way even though he's wearing
- 54:17Speaker 1: the owl ears.
- 54:21Speaker 3: You made it with tho.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I tried, you know, I try. I saw the actor going,
- 54:25Speaker 1: how do I play a scene straight while wearing owl
- 54:29Speaker 1: makeup and ears?
- 54:31Speaker 3: But I did my best makeup.
- 54:33Speaker 1: What the fuck's an owl cat?
- 54:35Speaker 3: I don't know? Look a D and D character, right, No,
- 54:38Speaker 3: that's an owl bear.
- 54:39Speaker 8: Our bear sounds like one.
- 54:42Speaker 1: There's a tag at the end where the security guards
- 54:44Speaker 1: say that they've got another case of turf freaks, meaning
- 54:48Speaker 1: that this is a common problem with people who like
- 54:51Speaker 1: made me laugh.
- 54:52Speaker 4: In the beginning when it was just us on the turf,
- 54:55Speaker 4: and then it got then I didn't like it anymore
- 54:57Speaker 4: when it cut to the security guard. Should have ended
- 55:00Speaker 4: with us, with us on the turf being fucking j
- 55:05Speaker 4: D and Turk. That's how it should have ended.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Yeah, But then it goes to their security cameras and
- 55:09Speaker 1: they call us turf freaks, which means they have a
- 55:12Speaker 1: recurring problem with people that are like get off by
- 55:14Speaker 1: touching turf.
- 55:15Speaker 3: And they're gonna go get the tranquilizer guy.
- 55:19Speaker 1: No, it's a taser. This time is a taser. It's
- 55:21Speaker 1: called the Conquista Door.
- 55:23Speaker 3: The Mexican one. Right, get the Mexican.
- 55:28Speaker 1: They're gonna go. They're gonna horrible. They're gonna like extra
- 55:33Speaker 1: tas us, like, not just a regular taser, like a
- 55:35Speaker 1: super strong one called the Conquista Door. Because we're on
- 55:39Speaker 1: the turf. Wow, I'm gonna break. And Joelle, do you
- 55:46Speaker 1: have some some opinions on season nine from us? We
- 55:49Speaker 1: have two Oh so exciting everyone. You're not gonna want
- 55:53Speaker 1: to miss this. Wait, I have something crazy to tell you.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Right after the break. That's what I'm talking about.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Back, I don't really have anything to tell you. I
- 56:10Speaker 1: was what was called just giving a tease before the
- 56:14Speaker 1: break to ensure that you'd come back. You I can
- 56:18Speaker 1: think of something crazy to tell us.
- 56:20Speaker 8: You got us.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how that's how it works in radio.
- 56:24Speaker 8: All right, Joell, go ahead, which you want to hear first?
- 56:26Speaker 8: Positive or negative?
- 56:27Speaker 6: Let's start with the negative, so we can end with
- 56:29Speaker 6: the positive.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Sorry, yes, I.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Agree, Yes, Joelle, go ahead lead it.
- 56:34Speaker 9: Hello, Joel, Daniel Zach and JD. Greetings from flag Staff, Arizona.
- 56:40Speaker 9: My name is Pete Casteonic and I just wanted to
- 56:43Speaker 9: say such for the podcast. When I think back, you
- 56:47Speaker 9: know a lot of us think back on COVID. What
- 56:50Speaker 9: got us through it is that this podcast coming out,
- 56:53Speaker 9: you know, the Scrubs came out when I was just
- 56:55Speaker 9: going into high school, and I think having Scrubs really
- 56:59Speaker 9: was just a cool outlet, you know, as someone who
- 57:01Speaker 9: identifies with j D's character, you know, it just through
- 57:05Speaker 9: all through high school and college, it was pretty pretty.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Amazing to be able to tune in each week.
- 57:10Speaker 9: That being said, I'm here to say why I hate
- 57:15Speaker 9: episode three our role model, and I think the thing
- 57:21Speaker 9: in this episode is someone who identifies with JD's character
- 57:25Speaker 9: is I was kind of hoping that, you know, JD
- 57:27Speaker 9: and Doctor Cox, his relationship would kind of move on
- 57:31Speaker 9: more from exactly said approval and friendship to more of
- 57:35Speaker 9: a you know, kind of like when doctor Kelso retired
- 57:39Speaker 9: it was a little bit more fun loving and now
- 57:41Speaker 9: I obviously I get the humor of the number one
- 57:44Speaker 9: T shirt that Drew wears. But I think for me,
- 57:47Speaker 9: it just felt really cheap that he was able to
- 57:50Speaker 9: get doctor Cox's approval and love so so quickly. But
- 57:56Speaker 9: I think just in general with the show, it just
- 57:59Speaker 9: it's really kind of sad for me to see some
- 58:01Speaker 9: of the you know, supporting characters and people in different
- 58:04Speaker 9: positions other than the doctor kind of go away in
- 58:08Speaker 9: the show. And I think for me, you know, the
- 58:10Speaker 9: the funniest moments in Scrubs are with you know, when
- 58:14Speaker 9: Neil the janitor, or with Ted the lawyer, and I think,
- 58:19Speaker 9: you know, not having some of those more ancillary positions
- 58:22Speaker 9: in the hospital involved, including the nurses, and it being
- 58:27Speaker 9: more focused on the doctors and then the students becoming doctors,
- 58:32Speaker 9: I think it's lost a lot of that breadth of humor.
- 58:37Speaker 9: So I think, just for me, you know it the
- 58:41Speaker 9: chemistry piece, you know, JD and Zach's chemistry in the
- 58:44Speaker 9: show is obviously on point, but I think beyond that,
- 58:49Speaker 9: it's just lacking that in general. Anyway, thanks for listening
- 58:53Speaker 9: to my comments and I love the podcast. Thank you guys,
- 58:57Speaker 9: Thank thanks.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Peter.
- 58:59Speaker 5: Peter sent us an email apologizing he was like I
- 59:02Speaker 5: was so nervous, I said JD. When I met Donald twice,
- 59:05Speaker 5: he caught it on his listen back, and he apologized Peter.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I could tell he was nervous, So Donald, don't get
- 59:10Speaker 1: upset with Peter.
- 59:11Speaker 4: He's not gonna get upset. But I'm going to say
- 59:12Speaker 4: one thing though. He I thought he was going to
- 59:15Speaker 4: say exactly what we were saying.
- 59:16Speaker 3: He wasn't. It switched.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Really he said two really smart things. First, he said
- 59:21Speaker 1: that he thought that JD and and Cox would be
- 59:23Speaker 1: a little more like Cox and Kelso, which is what
- 59:25Speaker 1: we're saying. And then he said something I didn't even
- 59:27Speaker 1: thought of was missing. But he's right, all of the
- 59:29Speaker 1: ancillary characters are.
- 59:31Speaker 4: I love that part too. But then he also said
- 59:33Speaker 4: the reason why he didn't like it, though, was because
- 59:36Speaker 4: it took j D. He was He's jealous too. It
- 59:39Speaker 4: took JD so long to get Cox's approval and this
- 59:45Speaker 4: dude gets it right away. So part of there, if
- 59:48Speaker 4: I heard correctly, he said, I didn't like the I
- 59:50Speaker 4: don't like the fact that he's the number one character.
- 59:53Speaker 4: He's the number one guy, and how Cox made him
- 59:57Speaker 4: so part of him has a little bit of that
- 59:58Speaker 4: jealousy in him too.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Though, I hear you.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: That was really well said, people, absolutely, and thank you
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: for being a listener and all the kind things you
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: said about the show. And you know, I was saying
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: preach during your whole two minute segment, well said, all right, Joelle,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: let's hear someone who really likes episode three of season nine.
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: Take it away, Daniel.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Hey, guys, it's been a lot of fun listening to
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: the show over the last couple of years, so of
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: course I got to start out with a quick thank you.
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: To Bill.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Anyway, So I really like season nine episode three. I
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: think for me personally, one of the biggest reasons why
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: is because I don't know how it felt for you
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: guys on set filming it performing it, But to me
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: as a viewer, it doesn't really feel like anybody is
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: phoning it in from the new cast to the old cast,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Like everybody still feels in character and now what he
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: feels like they're just there to take a paycheck. Everyone
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: is super earnest. At least that's how it feels as
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: a viewer. When you have Johnny c in the classic
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: high school you know outfit with like the short shorts
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: on and everything I mean, he's still killing it. I
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: can't imagine Johnny c half assing performance. And I really
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: also liked when Johnny c asks the class to let
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: him clock the moment.
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: That they realized they weren't going to make it as doctors.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: And Carrie Basha, her character is so earnest that she
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: leans forward to really let him watch her soul die.
- 1:01:23Speaker 8: I thought that was very funny.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: The physical comedy between Turk and JD is still there.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I mean that chest bump where Zach just completely like
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: caves his entire chest cavity, I thought was very funny.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: The surgery scene was another one where I laughed real hard.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Donald just making me crack up when he just kept
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: yelling why are you awake? Candy Hands was a classic
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: one for me. I don't know why that, just that
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: one just really hit me. But then I think also
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: season nine, at least this episode kind of nails that heartfelt,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: sort of get you in the feels vibe that the
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: rest of Scrubs had. The relationship between Denise and the
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: kid I thought was a really good evolution of her character.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: And then I mean the audacity of this show to
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: have Zach acting the hell out of that scene with
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Johnny C while he's in full on ridiculous cats makeup.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I thought it was hard perfect.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: I liked most about that scene though, was when Zach
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: calls him Perry. He doesn't do it as like a bit.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: It's not like a you know, flexing the relationship sort
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: of thing. He just calls him Perry because in that
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: moment they genuinely are equals. And I think that that's fantastic.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I mean, season nine, as an epilogue, that just kind
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: of lets you see a little bit into these characters' lives.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I thought was really great. It just gives me a
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: little more scrubs. And maybe I'm just a simple man,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: but I just wanted more scrubs, and I got more
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: scrubs with some of my favorite characters, as well as
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: a whole host of really good ones, really really good
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: new ones. I will say that Cole should probably be
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: in jail for sex crimes, but that's neither here nor there.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I think he's got a good, pretty good arc later on.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: But you know, still, anyway, love you guys, keep it up.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: You all putting in fantastic work and it's not unappreciated.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: So thanks so much.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: That was awesome very much. Tom.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I think if you combine both both together, I
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: think that's yeah. I think that's the general census, you
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: know what I mean. It's got so the show has
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: so many great moments and their actors are so good.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Tom was so convincing that he made me like the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: episode more.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what you like because you may do
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: the things that he talked about.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: He actually nailed the moments that we laughed at the
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: hardest Man, and there were a lot of moments where
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: we laughed.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: We said those same moments. And also I appreciate the
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: compliment of trying to do an earnest, real genuine scene
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: with Cox and Alil makeup. So I appreciate the compliment.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: It's like a double black diamond acting exercise be taken
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: seriously while wearing that.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: But that's fun.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I'm really liking this exercise. Guys. I think it's so.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: It's a it's it's really cool to hear like a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Cisco and Ebert pro and a con of the episode.
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: I like it.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: It's lovely.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Do you like it?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Donald a Daishun?
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: I do like it.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: You know what I like a lot though, as is
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: that extended family comes.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, we're going to segue to.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Jesday Nights on NBC and then you can stream it
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: on Peacock the very next day. So if it's Wednesday,
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: guess what Peacock.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Okay, we were going to segue to plugs, but you
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: just seamlessly went there right on in.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Is that got we're going?
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: You asked me, were asking for my final thought, pretty much,
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: and my final thought is extended family Tuesdays.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Listen French Girl, guys. It's my new movie with Vanessa Hudgens.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: It's really funny. Please check it out. Donald, I really
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: want you to watch it. I don't watch things, but
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: please watch this. You'll laugh.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: I'm telling you. We're doing a campaign. It's out right now,
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: all right, kidspaign is Get it to number one.

- 1:05:05Speaker 1: on demand movies. Check out French Girl and you'll have
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: a laugh.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Do you speak French in it?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I do speak a little French in it?
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Donald, Do you French kissing it?
