- 0:09Speaker 3: 800-321-0710. Let's go to Peter in North Carolina. Peter, how
- 0:13Speaker 3: you doing?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hey, good morning, Mark. First time call. I've been listening
- 0:28Speaker 1: to you for many, many years, but I finally got
- 0:30Speaker 1: brave enough to give you a call this morning.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Wow, I'm glad you did.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I enjoy it. Listen, I used to be, my day
- 0:38Speaker 1: was first you in the morning and then Rush Limbaugh.
- 0:41Speaker 1: And with the losing of now Rush, I just, you're
- 0:44Speaker 1: my information guy, so....
- 0:47Speaker 3: Well, Buck and Clay show's pretty good.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I know.
- 0:51Speaker 1: They do, but they ramble a lot. I'll be honest
- 0:53Speaker 1: with you.
- 0:55Speaker 3: It's a talk show. You've got to ramble. No, but
- 0:58Speaker 3: that's the whole Rush team that's doing that show from.
- 1:01Speaker 1: The Rush studio. Yeah, I do. I do listen to
- 1:04Speaker 1: them on occasion. But listen, I was wondering, you know,
- 1:07Speaker 1: what happened to Maria Bartiromo? I mean, she was such
- 1:09Speaker 1: a big gun on Fox News. And then, of course,
- 1:11Speaker 1: we heard that guy. fired or she quit we don't
- 1:13Speaker 1: know why now she's like well actually.
- 1:16Speaker 3: We do know we we do know the whole story
- 1:18Speaker 3: there was some first of all she's always fighting with
- 1:20Speaker 3: the management i love her and she's a good person
- 1:22Speaker 3: but always fighting with the management that doesn't help yeah
- 1:25Speaker 3: then there was a problem with um uh kevin o'leary
- 1:28Speaker 3: was saying some crazy things she didn't correct them and
- 1:31Speaker 3: fox had to issue all kinds of apologies and then
- 1:34Speaker 3: uh there was the final uh what was i can't
- 1:37Speaker 3: even remember now but there was a lot of fighting
- 1:39Speaker 3: the contract was coming to an end anyway They've announced
- 1:42Speaker 3: the replacement. It's going to be a lot of familiar
- 1:45Speaker 3: Fox Business faces, Dagan McDowell and all that.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah. And they put, what's his name, Kudlow on and
- 1:52Speaker 1: plays for him and so forth for a while.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Well, Kudlow, you should watch Kudlow every day, 4 o'clock.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I do.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I see you there, too. I do watch you on there, too.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I enjoy you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but that is the single smartest show on television.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I agree with you.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Kudlow, every day, 4 o'clock.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I definitely agree with that. So, yeah, you don't
- 2:11Speaker 1: know what she's going to do next. To me, I
- 2:12Speaker 1: always got a lot out of her. She's very smart, obviously.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Very smart. She's a very nice person. She'll announce something soon.
- 2:20Speaker 3: She'll do something next. But thanks for calling, Peter. Let's
- 2:23Speaker 3: go to Sam in Connecticut. Sam, how are you doing?
- 2:28Speaker 4: Good. I got some good news for Bruce Blakeman. I
- 2:32Speaker 4: was with my barber on Sunday getting a haircut. a
- 2:37Speaker 4: Russian Jew who lives in Queens. He told me that
- 2:40Speaker 4: the rabbis are coming out and are all telling the congregation,
- 2:45Speaker 4: change their registration, vote Republican. They've had it with Mondami,
- 2:50Speaker 4: and they're out there in droves. Blakeman's going to be
- 2:54Speaker 4: pulling off a lot of the Jewish vote in Queens now.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Well, that's great. The Jewish vote, it's still a small
- 3:00Speaker 3: percentage of votes, but it's a turnout election. If Republicans
- 3:05Speaker 3: turn out, If Republicans turn out, Blakeman wins. He's got
- 3:09Speaker 3: to win 35% of New York to win the governorship, 35%
- 3:12Speaker 3: of New York.
- 3:13Speaker 4: And I think it's doable, and I just sent him
- 3:15Speaker 4: another donation.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Very good.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you want to donate, go to BlakemanForNewYork.com, and you
- 3:22Speaker 3: can donate or volunteer, whatever you want to do, BlakemanForNewYork.com.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Let's go to Michael in Danbury, Connecticut. Michael, how are
- 3:29Speaker 3: you doing?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark.
- 3:31Speaker 5: I wanted to talk about this Krista Pike situation. There
- 3:36Speaker 5: was an anesthesiologist on the Buck and Clay show yesterday
- 3:40Speaker 5: who said that it wasn't that the lethal injection didn't work.
- 3:46Speaker 5: They didn't get the administration of the penobarbital into her vein.
- 3:53Speaker 1: They missed twice.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Wouldn't you think that they would have had a phlebotomist,
- 3:59Speaker 5: somebody who knew what they were doing?
- 4:01Speaker 3: Well, more than that, though, lawyers warned them that because
- 4:05Speaker 3: of her terrible medical condition and whatever she was screwed
- 4:08Speaker 3: up on, that her veins were so tiny there was
- 4:11Speaker 3: no way to even get into them. And even if
- 4:13Speaker 3: you got it into her veins, her veins were so
- 4:16Speaker 3: narrow it wouldn't have killed her. It was also predictable.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Krista's legal team told the state of Tennessee and the
- 4:23Speaker 2: courts that her medical conditions would cause her to suffer
- 4:27Speaker 2: an agonizing death. The state and the court dismiss Christa's concerns.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so apparently her veins were so shrunken down and
- 4:36Speaker 3: clogged up. It would never have gone through there correctly.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Let's go to... Not there. What happened? Oh, something happened.
- 4:46Speaker 3: All the calls dropped at once. It's our phones again
- 4:50Speaker 3: acting up, but I think it's all right. I think
- 4:51Speaker 3: it's all right. So, hey, we got a lot coming up.
- 4:54Speaker 3: We'll get to Roger Friedman in a few moments. There's
- 4:59Speaker 3: new Beatles stuff coming out. If you're a big Beatles fan,
- 5:01Speaker 3: you'll want to know about that. We'll take a look
- 5:03Speaker 3: at Broadway, see how everything is doing. We'll get to
- 5:07Speaker 3: Sylvester Stallone. A lot of people love this new book.
- 5:10Speaker 3: We'll get to that and a whole lot more coming
- 5:13Speaker 3: up next on 710WOR.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Com.
