- 0:12Speaker 1: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Rough with myself Teddy Mellencamp and.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hi, I'm Erica Jane. And you have a smile in
- 0:20Speaker 2: your face and you feel better.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I feel better today. I can't even I'm so excited.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Thank god, because you were low.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I was on the low low low. Yeah, I'm definitely
- 0:32Speaker 1: feeling better. I have energy, my sister's coming to visit,
- 0:37Speaker 1: I have a lot of things to look forward to.
- 0:38Speaker 2: All these things are good. Yeah, you look and feel
- 0:40Speaker 2: a lot better.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm happy for you, Thank you, thank you. I mean,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I don't look as hot as you. Erica walks in
- 0:47Speaker 1: and I go, damn, girl, where are you going after this?
- 0:49Speaker 1: And she goes the dentist.
- 0:51Speaker 2: The dentist, Well, look, I mean, if you'll remember a
- 0:54Speaker 2: couple episodes back, my dentist did come up and talk
- 0:57Speaker 2: to me and didn't realize who I was, meaning that
- 1:00Speaker 2: he didn't because I go in there looking crazy. But
- 1:03Speaker 2: I don't know, I just felt like I needed to look.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You know how, sometimes you need to dress up for yourself. Yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 2: it's one of the I know it's not like I'm
- 1:11Speaker 2: decked out, but I just needed to pull it together
- 1:13Speaker 2: just to feel something.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I need to probably do that sometimes soon.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I think, well, you did it at the wedding and
- 1:19Speaker 2: then you got COVID, so hold on one second, like
- 1:22Speaker 2: we're gonna have something else for you to go to that.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that I can razzle dazzle up. Yeah, yeah, gotta
- 1:29Speaker 1: get my hair done soon. Question do you think I
- 1:31Speaker 1: should get just some hot low lights and highlights?
- 1:36Speaker 2: What's the goal blonde or what?
- 1:38Speaker 1: I think it's blonde, but I don't know that I
- 1:41Speaker 1: like the all bleached blonde, like I'd rather now that
- 1:43Speaker 1: it's growing into a pixie, have some dark roots.
- 1:46Speaker 2: But also, well, I think the thing that you're thinking
- 1:49Speaker 2: about is not one tone. Yeah, so I don't know
- 1:54Speaker 2: if it's low lights or or highlights or dark roots.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Like I there are a couple different ways to go,
- 2:01Speaker 2: but I don't think you need to be and because
- 2:03Speaker 2: it's it's a real look to be one color.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, and I think one color when my
- 2:10Speaker 1: hair grows as fast as it's been growing, which is nice.
- 2:13Speaker 2: A lot of upkeep, but it's a lot of a
- 2:15Speaker 2: lot of upkeeping. You don't need that, so let's find
- 2:17Speaker 2: a solution.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm thinking like remember when Drew Barrymore had that pixie
- 2:21Speaker 1: cut and it was like it was kind of rudy.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and in the nineties. Yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I like that for you. I like, I love a
- 2:28Speaker 2: pixie out.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Of pixie you did. I need to see a picture.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I've like, not shaved my head, but closely cut my
- 2:36Speaker 2: hair twice twice.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Did you ever do it again?
- 2:39Speaker 2: No? No, too old my hair for ature. I'll tell
- 2:44Speaker 2: you why. Today we were blowing my hair out and
- 2:47Speaker 2: Lia's like, hey, like you got a lot of breakage. Like, yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I know. And it's just like when you shoot the
- 2:54Speaker 2: season of Housewives trying to like do interesting shit, your
- 2:57Speaker 2: hair gets fucked up. Yeah, my hair needs a rest.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I know.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Do you have any sensis a now or no?
- 3:02Speaker 2: No, it's like maybe a clip in but I don't.
- 3:05Speaker 2: But like you don't have no keratins or anything. No,
- 3:09Speaker 2: but my hair is not I think. I mean, I
- 3:13Speaker 2: hate to say this, but when you go through menopause
- 3:15Speaker 2: your hair gets a little bit weaker.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yes, you know, well I thought I was going through menopause,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but I started my first time having my period again.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Oh from all of the uh stuff.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yes, it's been almost a year and three days ago.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I was like, which is probably also why I was
- 3:35Speaker 1: feeling even worse. Yes, and then I was like, she's back.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Well wait, hell, dore you.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm forty four.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Oh you're fine.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but I thought it was gone ers.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I mean, well, I can't imagine all the stress and
- 3:50Speaker 2: all this stuff would take it away.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But they're saying that that's good news because it means
- 3:54Speaker 1: that my hormones are starting to like level out.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It does.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I'm like, oh great, but here we go. She's back.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Well that's okay.
- 4:02Speaker 1: But I like that I have the energy because this
- 4:05Speaker 1: we have a lot to get through.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Okay, let's get through it. Let's start. Let's start episode.
- 4:08Speaker 2: What is this eleven? This is episode eleven, Episode eleven,
- 4:14Speaker 2: Guys eleven.
- 4:16Speaker 1: But before we even get into the episode, we have
- 4:18Speaker 1: two little things that kind of we're all over the
- 4:21Speaker 1: internet that we must discuss.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So Georgio says that's his Instagram name. He did a
- 4:28Speaker 1: post and he was talking about Slade Smiley's website for
- 4:31Speaker 1: his alleged production company, Yes Grayson Entertainment LLC. Georgio saw
- 4:37Speaker 1: a lot of red flax.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yes It says that Grayson Enterprises. Is it Grayson Entertainment
- 4:44Speaker 2: or Grayson Enterprises. Okay, So Slade lists out networks that
- 4:48Speaker 2: this production company has allegedly worked with, sort of like
- 4:51Speaker 2: History Channel, CBS, Bravo, and NBC. So and Georgio did
- 4:59Speaker 2: say this because I watched. He was like, hey, these
- 5:00Speaker 2: are some big, big networks. Obviously, the Bravo NBC thing, like, okay,
- 5:07Speaker 2: you know I could see where you would first off,
- 5:09Speaker 2: I first off, what are you doing? What productions are
- 5:12Speaker 2: you doing? But okay, the Bravo NBC thing, like I
- 5:16Speaker 2: can see the History Channel and CBS.
- 5:18Speaker 1: History Channel on CBS.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I mean, where does that fit right now?
- 5:21Speaker 1: All we're finding is that there was a podcast that
- 5:25Speaker 1: this company was a part of and it says I'm
- 5:27Speaker 1: Not Too Taboo, a podcast with Gretchen and Slade, which
- 5:30Speaker 1: was on Amazon. It's the only thing that Georgia saw
- 5:33Speaker 1: that Grayson Entertainment has produced. Also on the team page.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I mean are these stock photos?
- 5:41Speaker 1: They are stock photos?
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah? And here's the thing, guys, like, I mean, not the.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Stock stock photos and not only that, and then one
- 5:54Speaker 1: page is just a template like it says like insert
- 5:56Speaker 1: your caption here.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I saw that too. Does that mean? This is how
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'm curious how Georgio ran up on this? Has anybody
- 6:04Speaker 2: else come up with has this been discussed before? I
- 6:06Speaker 2: don't want let me know, let us know in the
- 6:08Speaker 2: comments or or if not, how did Georgio run up
- 6:12Speaker 2: on this?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Well, because then he also looked up and saw Grayson
- 6:14Speaker 1: Entertainment belongs to an l else of another couple in
- 6:18Speaker 1: Mayes also says business has been suspended since taxes were
- 6:23Speaker 1: not paid.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Good old FTB. Honey, h well, it's pretty dead. Let
- 6:27Speaker 2: me be fucking with them. You're fucking with the FEDS
- 6:31Speaker 2: or the FTB, and you know why. I'm rolling my eyes.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But it's pretty clear why Gretchen is the one who
- 6:38Speaker 1: has it's in charge of the.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Bills, the bills. Has slave filed for bankruptcy? Do we know?
- 6:46Speaker 2: I mean I think somebody would have said it by now,
- 6:49Speaker 2: like you filed for bankruptcy? Is he? Can you? I
- 6:53Speaker 2: know that if you do a bankruptcy that child support
- 6:57Speaker 2: is a non dischargeable debt, no record.
- 7:01Speaker 1: No record bankruptcy.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Okay, but how does he.
- 7:06Speaker 1: That's event?
- 7:06Speaker 2: And as we get on into the episode, we see
- 7:10Speaker 2: like what is his income? Where does it come from.
- 7:13Speaker 1: What is he doing on a day to day basis right?
- 7:15Speaker 2: Like, how is he paying four things? Or is she
- 7:17Speaker 2: which her answer, Gretchen's answer at the sleepover with Heather
- 7:22Speaker 2: and Emily led me to believe that she is a
- 7:26Speaker 2: number one the breadwinner, the soul breadwinner, and number two
- 7:29Speaker 2: obviously paying for all the stuff, which is.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Fine, which is fine, which is fine.
- 7:34Speaker 2: If that works for you, go out and say it
- 7:36Speaker 2: like that. But yeah, if that because she didn't want
- 7:40Speaker 2: to answer it, but somebody's going to answer it for you,
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm afraid, so just say, yeah, I do it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm in charge of the finances. He helps me
- 7:49Speaker 1: manage my life and take care of my daughter.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I do like the fact that she has not married him,
- 7:53Speaker 2: and that to me is a little bit of a
- 7:55Speaker 2: flag for me, like, eh, you didn't marry him. Yeah,
- 7:59Speaker 2: So does he have judgments? Does he have debt that
- 8:02Speaker 2: she doesn't want to take on? Probably maybe I'm speculating.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Don't get mad at me, you put it on TV.
- 8:09Speaker 1: But I hope that she's not just letting him run
- 8:12Speaker 1: her finances.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Well as somebody who did trust and got fucked. Gretchen,
- 8:22Speaker 2: I hope you're not doing that. No, she said she
- 8:24Speaker 2: has all of her own line. Wait does she said
- 8:26Speaker 2: they had a joint account.
- 8:27Speaker 1: No good, They've never had a joint account.
- 8:30Speaker 2: And she's always kept her own money. And she did
- 8:31Speaker 2: say I didn't want a man to financially control me,
- 8:33Speaker 2: which I think is wonderful.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Very smart, wonderful. I kept mine all separate.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I remember you selling you telling us that, Yeah, you
- 8:40Speaker 2: kept all of your separate. Super smart. Yeah. So let
- 8:43Speaker 2: me ask you this, like, and I think that this
- 8:45Speaker 2: came up on the show, like who paid for the grocery?
- 8:48Speaker 2: I know it's a stupid thing, but like, who would
- 8:50Speaker 2: go to Gelsonstone here and buy groceries? So how does
- 8:52Speaker 2: that work out? Like? You do you have a signed
- 8:55Speaker 2: for us?
- 8:56Speaker 1: We had one, We still do. We have one joint
- 9:00Speaker 1: card that is for the kids only. You see what
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 9:06Speaker 2: I don't because I've never had to do this and
- 9:08Speaker 2: clearly I'm a ding don.
- 9:09Speaker 1: So we have one. It's called a divvy card, okay,
- 9:12Speaker 1: And a certain amount is put on there a month
- 9:14Speaker 1: and that's for like the kids' expenses.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Right, so the two of you could contribute the same
- 9:18Speaker 2: amount to that.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Edwin pays for that and then I pay for any
- 9:22Speaker 1: we quickly go over the divvy.
- 9:25Speaker 2: But like he's paying the school tuition, Edwin, Okay, he's
- 9:29Speaker 2: paying the mortgage is split.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Right now, Edwin, right, and then I pay for all
- 9:35Speaker 1: of the extras.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:37Speaker 1: So like right now it's Rosa Shanna. So our kids
- 9:40Speaker 1: aren't in school, so like they're at the jumpy place,
- 9:43Speaker 1: so you're playing for the jump place. Okay, cool birthdays,
- 9:47Speaker 1: those types of things. I mean, Edwin has always been
- 9:51Speaker 1: the bread winner with us, but I've always kind of
- 9:53Speaker 1: kept my money separate. If it's something that I wanted
- 9:56Speaker 1: to do, I did it.
- 9:58Speaker 2: But I'm sure you probably contribute to the household and
- 10:01Speaker 2: to all of the expenses in finance.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, And I mean I'm sure this will all
- 10:04Speaker 1: change as things go on, of course, but this is
- 10:08Speaker 1: how it was. This is how it was, and so
- 10:10Speaker 1: we're trying to keep everything the same way it was before.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I like that, and I'm just trying.
- 10:14Speaker 2: To now, yeah, let's just keep it how it's going.
- 10:16Speaker 2: It's running, it's manageable.
- 10:18Speaker 1: It's yeah, and I'm just trying to be a little
- 10:21Speaker 1: bit smarter with my money. Now.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I mean, you know, here's the thing. We
- 10:26Speaker 2: all want to be independent, we all want to control
- 10:28Speaker 2: these things. But you know, being adulting is hard.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Adulting is hard. It is hard, and especially when you
- 10:35Speaker 1: have multiple kids at all different ages. But I can
- 10:39Speaker 1: say this, it was very easy for me to answer
- 10:42Speaker 1: that question. Yes, Why was it so hard for Gretchen
- 10:45Speaker 1: to answer.
- 10:45Speaker 2: This because she's paying for everything? Because it was easy
- 10:48Speaker 2: for me to say, oh, no, Tom, Tom definitely the
- 10:50Speaker 2: bread winner, and I gave every check I ever had
- 10:53Speaker 2: back to him. Now what he did with it, clearly,
- 10:56Speaker 2: we don't know. But that's how it was. You know,
- 11:00Speaker 2: that was Tom's house, it was Tom's firm, it was
- 11:02Speaker 2: Tom's stuff. Yes, every job I got, I gave him
- 11:05Speaker 2: the money.
- 11:06Speaker 1: But you know, other than that, but it's pretty easy to.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Explain pretty much what's going on around here.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty easy to explain. This next one is
- 11:15Speaker 1: an Instagram story. I feel like we're going to start
- 11:17Speaker 1: getting a lot of.
- 11:18Speaker 2: These ready for the reunion.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so Jen Pradonci did one of those Q and
- 11:23Speaker 1: a's and she somebody said, are you ready for the reunion?
- 11:26Speaker 1: And she responds, sure, I just show up the day
- 11:29Speaker 1: of the reunion. I know some people plot and plan
- 11:32Speaker 1: for months. I don't do that. Let's just address all
- 11:35Speaker 1: the matters that need to be addressed and hopefully try
- 11:37Speaker 1: to move on. I'm sure some will try to unearth
- 11:40Speaker 1: skeletons on people. I have zero interest in all of that.
- 11:44Speaker 2: What is your take on that?
- 11:45Speaker 1: Well, my take on that is I watched the last
- 11:48Speaker 1: reunion and I don't remember her just coming in and
- 11:52Speaker 1: moving right on from things interesting. So if that's what
- 11:56Speaker 1: she's her plan is this season, then let's see how
- 11:59Speaker 1: that goes.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Well. I think there are different levels, and I think
- 12:02Speaker 2: that we both have experience in this talking about a reunion.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And please, if you've never done a reunion, keep your
- 12:07Speaker 2: comments to yourself, because you don't know what it's like.
- 12:11Speaker 2: You don't not only the women who are on these
- 12:13Speaker 2: shows that actually sit down there know what the feeling
- 12:17Speaker 2: is you are watching it. We actually do it. So
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm real confident when I say this. We all know
- 12:24Speaker 2: people who do plot and plan. There are others that
- 12:28Speaker 2: come in that are like, hey, I don't feel as
- 12:32Speaker 2: if I have to answer for much this year. It
- 12:36Speaker 2: was pretty straightforward. So I think that everyone's reunion quote,
- 12:39Speaker 2: let's just say prep can be different based upon what's
- 12:44Speaker 2: going on this season. But there are those who take
- 12:48Speaker 2: time to really go in and think that it is
- 12:52Speaker 2: a full court press to really get at or make
- 12:58Speaker 2: up for, or hit back at things that you.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Know or not necessarily things that most of the time
- 13:06Speaker 1: you have to prep for because you know it.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yes, you do know it, but there are some things
- 13:11Speaker 2: that people will throw at you and you're like, I
- 13:13Speaker 2: wasn't even thinking about that, and I've moved on from that,
- 13:15Speaker 2: Why haven't you?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah? But were you somebody that would go back and
- 13:19Speaker 1: you know, like the day before when they'd send like
- 13:21Speaker 1: five or six episodes to watch right before the union,
- 13:23Speaker 1: did you watch or you just were.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Like when I first started, the answer was yes. Now
- 13:30Speaker 2: I look at key things that I think will be
- 13:32Speaker 2: into you know, at this point, because I have a
- 13:34Speaker 2: lot of experience, I pretty much know where the questions
- 13:37Speaker 2: are going to go just based on what you're seeing,
- 13:41Speaker 2: and then you can go, m hmm, this is probably
- 13:44Speaker 2: nine times out of ten you're going to get a
- 13:45Speaker 2: question about this. Yes, So what is your answer and
- 13:50Speaker 2: remind yourself of what was shown to the audience versus
- 13:54Speaker 2: what you remember. And also, if you're going to get
- 13:59Speaker 2: into a squabble and other people were there, you can
- 14:02Speaker 2: also look at them and say, I think you were there.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Do you remember it going down this way? Because sometimes
- 14:09Speaker 2: when you're the lone voice in the woods and you're
- 14:11Speaker 2: fighting it out with somebody or you're having a disagreement
- 14:14Speaker 2: and others were present, you can say, I'm pretty sure
- 14:18Speaker 2: that these people saw this as well. Do you have
- 14:22Speaker 2: anything since this is what we're here to do, do
- 14:25Speaker 2: you have anything to say about this?
- 14:26Speaker 1: So we'll see, we'll see, we'll see. Well, I'm excited
- 14:29Speaker 1: you realized that I never even watched last season of
- 14:32Speaker 1: Beverly Hills because I was in the hospital.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Thank god, I mean not that you were in the hospital,
- 14:36Speaker 2: but thank god you didn't watch. You know who cares?
- 14:40Speaker 1: Ah, So I'm gonna have to go back. That gives
- 14:42Speaker 1: me an idea.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I need to tell me.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I need to go back and like binge this season
- 14:46Speaker 1: because I'm going to have to be recapping.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Well, just call me and ask me what you need
- 14:50Speaker 2: to know about last season, not this season.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Clarity, Yeah, last season.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I can tell you exactly. Well, let me see what
- 15:00Speaker 2: am I thinking where I'm thinking this is going this year?
- 15:03Speaker 2: And obviously I don't know, I only know what I shot.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I think once you watched last season, you'll be pretty
- 15:09Speaker 2: it's it's not going to be a couple of things
- 15:11Speaker 2: you may be confused about, but that's it.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'll be able to pick it up.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so, you'll be able to pick it
- 15:15Speaker 2: up real quick. Okay, No, it's nothing there. You may
- 15:18Speaker 2: have one or two questions that you'd like me clarity on,
- 15:21Speaker 2: but that's it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, Yeah, we're back into Macula. Gina mentions that
- 15:38Speaker 1: she didn't like how Tamar shit on Shannon last year
- 15:41Speaker 1: for her drinking and now takes her away to have
- 15:44Speaker 1: a drink.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I agree, I didn't like it either. Where either're going
- 15:46Speaker 2: to You can't call somebody an alcoholic and then offer
- 15:48Speaker 2: them a drink. Let's go get a drink and then
- 15:51Speaker 2: say something later. Tamra says something like well, and I'm paraphrasing,
- 15:55Speaker 2: so don't fuck me up, something like, well, she she
- 15:58Speaker 2: knows how much she can drink or whatever she's doing,
- 16:00Speaker 2: she's in am I right on that, like she's in
- 16:02Speaker 2: recovery or something like that. Was something like that, and
- 16:06Speaker 2: I don't like that, like.
- 16:07Speaker 1: She said, Tamra said something along the lines of like,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I think drinking as Shannon's love language.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Hmm. I think that was a quote, right, But we
- 16:17Speaker 2: don't need to be encouraging that love language. No, you know,
- 16:20Speaker 2: she hit a house. Did we ever find out about
- 16:22Speaker 2: the molar?
- 16:23Speaker 1: The molar's been gone for a while.
- 16:25Speaker 2: But why not get a new mollin?
- 16:26Speaker 1: But why not let us know since last pod that
- 16:29Speaker 1: we did?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah, just reach out to us, let us know, ladies.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I may have hit the house, but I was missing
- 16:34Speaker 2: the teeth before that.
- 16:35Speaker 1: But yeah, just let us let us let some girls
- 16:37Speaker 1: know so we can talk about it.
- 16:39Speaker 2: But I don't. I would not if I were Tamara,
- 16:41Speaker 2: and I really felt very strongly about what I said
- 16:44Speaker 2: last year about calling her an alcoholic. I would not
- 16:46Speaker 2: offer her drinks or encourage her to drink because it
- 16:49Speaker 2: seems uh counterintuitive and mean, it's not good, it's not great,
- 16:55Speaker 2: it's not good. Then you draw her back into a
- 16:57Speaker 2: thing because you know she's nine times out of tang
- 16:59Speaker 2: gonna take the drink, and then you know, and it's
- 17:02Speaker 2: going to come back, because it's just it's the same
- 17:05Speaker 2: old cycle. You either want to break this cycle and
- 17:07Speaker 2: move on or you don't. And the way you don't
- 17:10Speaker 2: break it and continue it is by talking about drinking
- 17:12Speaker 2: or encouraging her to drink or talk about her she.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Probably if she wanted that drink, she was gonna go
- 17:17Speaker 1: get it regardless.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Right, So Tamar didn't need to help her. Yeah, so
- 17:21Speaker 2: there you go.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So I think that was like one of those things
- 17:24Speaker 1: they left, Uh what was it, psychic? Yeah, they left
- 17:29Speaker 1: the not the psychic. It was like the voodoo person.
- 17:34Speaker 1: And then they're like, what should we do and that's
- 17:37Speaker 1: where they want to go get drinks.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so y'all don't need to be fucking with voodoo.
- 17:40Speaker 2: By the way, that ship can be very spiritually. You
- 17:43Speaker 2: can open some spiritual warfare if you fuck with the
- 17:46Speaker 2: wrong people. Don't do that.
- 17:47Speaker 1: No things on the Then Tamar asked Shannon what she
- 17:50Speaker 1: can do to make things better, and Shannon says time
- 17:53Speaker 1: is what she needs.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Well, that's all we have, but some of us. So
- 18:08Speaker 2: it's dark, but it's good.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You know what what it is.
- 18:13Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Then we panta Heather telling Emily and Gretchen that Tamara
- 18:17Speaker 1: can be mean when she's upset, and Heather has had
- 18:20Speaker 1: difficult people like that in her life.
- 18:23Speaker 2: You know what Heather, I soldiered for you last week
- 18:26Speaker 2: when I said you weren't afraid of her, and then
- 18:28Speaker 2: this week you said you were and it it's because
- 18:30Speaker 2: of your dad, and I was like, damn it.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I know. She brings up her dad, who would have
- 18:37Speaker 1: outbursts in public and he would have random explosions, And
- 18:40Speaker 1: then she wanted Tamar to understand that sometimes she acts
- 18:42Speaker 1: that way and makes her feel uncomfortable because of her
- 18:45Speaker 1: I wish she would have said that to Tamora.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I wish you would have said that to Tamara, and
- 18:48Speaker 2: also in the moment, and it would have explained why
- 18:51Speaker 2: she's quiet or she tries to make it go away.
- 18:53Speaker 2: And then if you say that in the moment, it's
- 18:56Speaker 2: far more effective you say it to the person. It's like, look,
- 18:58Speaker 2: when you do that, it scarce a shit out of me.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you why my dad did this, and
- 19:03Speaker 2: it would make me so crazy. So when you do that,
- 19:07Speaker 2: it just doesn't. It's not like Tamra's fault, but it does.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I've noticed this too. We do. And I don't want
- 19:16Speaker 2: to get all like therapy on us, but we do.
- 19:18Speaker 2: We take things that happened to us, like patterns that
- 19:21Speaker 2: we've unknowingly created and they do affect us late.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and I mean even going back of a jillion
- 19:27Speaker 1: years to the time you made me cry. Yes, it
- 19:30Speaker 1: really had nothing.
- 19:31Speaker 2: To do with nothing to do with me. It's how you.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's how I perceived one like yeah, like just
- 19:37Speaker 1: that little snap mm hmm. It was something from like
- 19:40Speaker 1: my childhood, right. I don't like being snapped at, right,
- 19:43Speaker 1: and so I went into.
- 19:44Speaker 2: A full like right exactly.
- 19:46Speaker 1: It was back to being a little kid.
- 19:47Speaker 2: And that's what happens to a lot of us.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And I wish I would have had the wherewithal to say, then, hey, Erica,
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm not even upset the way you just talk to me.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It really has more to do with yeah, I.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Don't know how to process when people talk to me.
- 20:01Speaker 2: And I would have said, like Jesus, like well fun, yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 2: you know, because and also too, like I'm so glad
- 20:07Speaker 2: that I almost said that my life fell apart. But
- 20:10Speaker 2: I am kind of glad that my life fell apart.
- 20:11Speaker 2: And I'll tell you why because it forced me to
- 20:14Speaker 2: go on a journey and look at my whole life.
- 20:16Speaker 2: And now, if someone said something like that to me,
- 20:18Speaker 2: if you said, hey, I don't like I would be like,
- 20:20Speaker 2: oh my god, how irresponsible, and I'm not responsible for
- 20:24Speaker 2: everybody's you know, you're not responsible for But I would
- 20:28Speaker 2: have been far more understanding and been like, you know what,
- 20:31Speaker 2: I I'm sorry for that, Like I didn't, that was
- 20:33Speaker 2: not my intention. And I'm snapping, by the way, I'm
- 20:36Speaker 2: snapping because of some shit in my Yeah, I mean, well,
- 20:39Speaker 2: just repeating old ass patterns, y'all.
- 20:41Speaker 1: And then we're just reacting to what we feel in
- 20:44Speaker 1: the moment.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Instead of thinking about it.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Instead of being like, this isn't a big.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Deal, This isn't a big deal. Let's take a step back,
- 20:52Speaker 2: not react in the moment and say, wait a minute,
- 20:54Speaker 2: what's really going on here? But also too, that's why
- 20:56Speaker 2: you like the show?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but I wish I do wish she had said
- 21:00Speaker 1: that to tam Tama. I wish she would have said
- 21:02Speaker 1: it to Tamra, because I didn't like the way she
- 21:04Speaker 1: said it to those two, in particular.
- 21:07Speaker 2: What you mean that she said it to them or
- 21:09Speaker 2: the way she said it to them both interesting.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And especially without having said it to Tama, For.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I would prefer that she had said it to Tama.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Not looking for an excuse, but looking for an explanation. Hey,
- 21:20Speaker 2: when you do these things, it gives me anxiety. And
- 21:23Speaker 2: the reason for that is I have history with this
- 21:26Speaker 2: and when, and it's not your fault, but I'm just
- 21:29Speaker 2: telling you the way I react when this happens is
- 21:32Speaker 2: you know, a deep seated and you know, and then
- 21:35Speaker 2: go work on that if you want to.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Yeah, then the girls and Beverly Hills go to the abbey.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Emily is picked up by a man and simulates in
- 21:43Speaker 1: our course.
- 21:44Speaker 2: As you should when you're at a gay bar and
- 21:46Speaker 2: you're with friendlies.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Gretchen is pole dancing, and she says she's experienced and
- 21:51Speaker 1: pulled dancing. And then Emily says she likes Gretcha's when
- 21:55Speaker 1: she is not.
- 21:57Speaker 2: A praying content content and I I, Emily, you know what,
- 22:02Speaker 2: First off, why is it called Gretcher's. She called Gretcher's.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's kind of cute like Stretchers. Gretcher's was on a Stretcher.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But I would take Emily's food stick like taking food and.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Gummy worms and stuff, all that stuff over.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Again.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Oh, Gretcher's bothers you that much.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Gretchers.
- 22:25Speaker 2: We've got Shannon with the cooking, Emily with the food
- 22:27Speaker 2: and the purse, Gretchen praise, what do I do? We're
- 22:32Speaker 2: not going to get into it. I'm sure we could
- 22:35Speaker 2: come up with some shit. No, I don't want to
- 22:37Speaker 2: see the praying content create. I mean, it's cute, I
- 22:40Speaker 2: get it, but I don't want to see it either.
- 22:41Speaker 2: All right. In the car ride home, Heather, Emily and
- 22:44Speaker 2: Gretchen talk about going to karaoke, and Gretchen wonders if
- 22:48Speaker 2: they'll play her song, and Heather forgot she had a song,
- 22:50Speaker 2: and then Gretchen corrects her and says she has four
- 22:53Speaker 2: and that Temper tried to be a singer and she
- 22:55Speaker 2: has the audio. Emily asked when this, Well says when
- 23:01Speaker 2: Tamra banged blank and insinuates Tamar was married. Then okay,
- 23:08Speaker 2: well what do you know about this?
- 23:10Speaker 1: Okay?
- 23:10Speaker 2: So, and by the way, you don't don't you are
- 23:15Speaker 2: a CIA level investigative operatives.
- 23:19Speaker 1: So I think when you get a bleep out of
- 23:23Speaker 1: the singer's name, shit must have hit the fan.
- 23:27Speaker 2: So someone says it's a gen X person. I'm gen X?
- 23:31Speaker 2: Are you a gen X? No?
- 23:32Speaker 1: No?
- 23:33Speaker 2: Okay, all right, millennial fuck off? Was Tamara married? At
- 23:36Speaker 2: this time. I'm married at this time, and I'm fucking somebody,
- 23:40Speaker 2: But it doesn't mean anything.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Well, I think the thing is Tamora. It wasn't fucking somebody.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I've never seen a worse excuse for being shady than
- 23:49Speaker 1: I wonder if they'll play my song, Like, don't you think, Wow,
- 23:54Speaker 1: that's what she was hoping for in that moment.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I think it is. I think she was hoping that
- 23:58Speaker 2: they play her song. It would be a nice blast
- 24:00Speaker 2: from the past. And she has four and we all
- 24:02Speaker 2: know how that goes.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't heard any of those. I also haven't
- 24:06Speaker 1: heard Tamor's song.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Well, I don't think Tama was. I don't know, but
- 24:11Speaker 2: I don't not trying to be a singer or performer
- 24:14Speaker 2: or anything like that. It was probably a one off
- 24:16Speaker 2: that she got asked to do. So anybody that puts
- 24:18Speaker 2: in their best effort, that's great. But the real singer
- 24:21Speaker 2: here in this group, in my opinion, is Heather, who's
- 24:23Speaker 2: awfully quiet about it. Or we know you can.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Sing, yeah, but then we're back and back together.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Heather, do it. Heather, and I expect a song at
- 24:32Speaker 2: Bravo Khan and I'm not.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Kidding oh, I haven't heard anything about that.
- 24:36Speaker 2: No, I'm going to see her out there. I Erica.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I am going to corner Heather at the right time
- 24:43Speaker 2: with no one around, and I'm gonna be like, bitch,
- 24:46Speaker 2: I know you can sing because our voice teacher told
- 24:48Speaker 2: me so. And I want you to sing, not for
- 24:51Speaker 2: anybody else, just quietly for me.
- 24:54Speaker 1: You want your own performance.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Well, I just want to. I just want I know
- 24:57Speaker 2: she can sing.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I want to hear it.
- 24:59Speaker 2: She she has a voice.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Then back at Heather sleepover Gretchen FaceTime slade. At this point,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I think Gretchen's pretty sloshed.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you can hear it in the slurring.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you can hear it in the slurring. You can
- 25:11Speaker 1: see it with like.
- 25:11Speaker 2: The throvements in the air, all of it.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm like, oh gosh, the next thing, she's gonna ask
- 25:16Speaker 1: for chips. I'm so angry. He is so excited to
- 25:23Speaker 1: jump into this conversation.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Well again, another wannabe orange holder. We've said this before. Oh,
- 25:28Speaker 2: and by all means, like all of you who said
- 25:31Speaker 2: I'd never been loved by a man before that ever
- 25:32Speaker 2: stuck up for me. You were right, you were fucking right. Yeah,
- 25:39Speaker 2: you're right. But not like that, like I can handle
- 25:41Speaker 2: my own shit. Okay, keep going.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Well, then he claims that not only was Tama recording
- 25:47Speaker 1: a song with the singer and they messed around, they
- 25:51Speaker 1: forgot the audio.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I was on like I've spent a lot of time
- 25:55Speaker 2: in his studio.
- 25:56Speaker 1: And that there's audio of them having sex.
- 25:59Speaker 2: So what did the inch near do?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he was just like, hey, hey.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Let's let this roll, like nobody loving this loving this?
- 26:05Speaker 2: So did the engineer? Not was the engineer in now?
- 26:09Speaker 1: And I'm sorry if this happened and we had to
- 26:12Speaker 1: remember this happened. What is it fourteen between fourteen and
- 26:15Speaker 1: eighteen years ago? It happened in twenty ten, So how
- 26:18Speaker 1: many years ago is that?
- 26:19Speaker 2: Fifteen?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Fifteen years ago? You don't think this would have come
- 26:23Speaker 1: out by now?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Well I was kind of thinking that too, like, we don't.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Think this would have already hit the pages.
- 26:29Speaker 2: And reality blurb picked it out. I'm gree this fucking shit,
- 26:34Speaker 2: this life, this Housewives universe is so fucking great. I'm
- 26:38Speaker 2: telling you, I.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Could just imagine Slade. He's like at home, he's got
- 26:42Speaker 1: makeup on, he's got his ringer at X volume, and
- 26:46Speaker 1: his on camera phone call, he's ready for his moment
- 26:49Speaker 1: with his glasses, with his glasses on.
- 26:52Speaker 2: But he was ready with the facts, but then he
- 26:55Speaker 2: wasn't ready for Like, here's the thing all the girls
- 26:59Speaker 2: were asking, was we want to hear the song? Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 2: the girls wanted to hear the Tamra song. And he
- 27:04Speaker 2: was like, well, you know what the real what the
- 27:08Speaker 2: real that gotcha gotcha is is that this alleged encounter
- 27:13Speaker 2: was recorded. Because okay, he claims there's audio of them
- 27:17Speaker 2: having sex. If so, Tamra, you're a rock star. Put
- 27:21Speaker 2: it out. Gretchen says she's never heard she's never had
- 27:25Speaker 2: the audio.
- 27:25Speaker 1: But she's heard it. She's saying she heard the audio,
- 27:28Speaker 1: but she doesn't happen.
- 27:29Speaker 2: So who's computer is this?
- 27:32Speaker 1: Oh no, she said she had the audio of the
- 27:36Speaker 1: So who produced this shit? There's two different tho.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I want to know who's the session, who ran the session?
- 27:43Speaker 2: And who where are these files? Yeah, and how did
- 27:46Speaker 2: they get sent the files? If this is a no
- 27:48Speaker 2: hate thing, then who has these files? Who has these
- 27:54Speaker 2: audio files? And how did they get shipped out?
- 27:57Speaker 1: That's that and also the fact that there's two totally
- 28:00Speaker 1: separate things that we're discussing here. Yes, clearly there's this
- 28:02Speaker 1: thing from No Hate where there's music being played. But
- 28:05Speaker 1: now Slade adding in that he also heard the When
- 28:09Speaker 1: did you hear the audio?
- 28:10Speaker 2: And well, not only that, who sent it to.
- 28:13Speaker 1: You fifteen years ago? You remember it?
- 28:15Speaker 2: So were you in the same session and you heard
- 28:18Speaker 2: it in studio? Or did someone send you the session this.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Part of Grayson Enterprises or Grayson What's Ells?
- 28:26Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know Van I's LLC. Guys.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I'm just laughing because my life's the shambles, you know,
- 28:35Speaker 2: it's I don't think I'm being rude.
- 28:38Speaker 1: But then they never send the song all that, Then
- 28:41Speaker 1: they never.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Saw all that. We never get to hear it, And
- 28:43Speaker 2: don't say that you can't play it, that you didn't
- 28:46Speaker 2: get the rights to it, then put it on your
- 28:48Speaker 2: fucking Instagram. Yeah, then don't tell me this is what
- 28:51Speaker 2: I don't want to hear. Well, we can't play it, bitch,
- 28:53Speaker 2: as you can.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Well you just talked about it.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Well not only that, Well, we could never get it cleared.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Yeah you can, yes you could, Yeah you can.
- 29:01Speaker 2: There are many ways to do this.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think the song was like a
- 29:06Speaker 1: Tina Turner song. No, no, no, I'm pretty sure.
- 29:11Speaker 2: And if you've got her vocals, I heard isolated vocals
- 29:13Speaker 2: and let them out.
- 29:15Speaker 1: But then the next morning at breakfast, Emily asks Gretchen
- 29:18Speaker 1: if she will ever get married to Slade.
- 29:20Speaker 2: This is what we're talking about here, This is the
- 29:23Speaker 2: meat and potatoes of this. She and Gretchen used to
- 29:26Speaker 2: worry about getting married to him years ago because he
- 29:30Speaker 2: was getting caught up with back debt. Valid she didn't
- 29:33Speaker 2: want to take it on in the marriage agreed, good girl.
- 29:37Speaker 2: She mentions that they are financially separate. Yay, Gretchen. She
- 29:41Speaker 2: pays for everything and the house is in her name. Okay,
- 29:44Speaker 2: even groceries come out of her bank account. Okay, hey
- 29:48Speaker 2: that's fine. So you run him.
- 29:52Speaker 1: But she didn't fully say that. She beat around the bush,
- 29:56Speaker 1: saying that.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, they had to pull it out of
- 29:58Speaker 2: her as only Emily can do but lawyer skills. But
- 30:04Speaker 2: these are the things that she said. I don't I mean,
- 30:07Speaker 2: if that's how she wants to live. It seems to
- 30:09Speaker 2: me that she likes Slade but does not trust Slade.
- 30:15Speaker 1: It seems to me like she likes Slade. They have
- 30:17Speaker 1: a good life, They have a daughter together.
- 30:19Speaker 2: And that's great and they just want to because did
- 30:20Speaker 2: you see where Emily said, I married Shane, I don't
- 30:22Speaker 2: have a pre nap. I married Tom. I didn't have
- 30:25Speaker 2: a pre nap.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I don't know about Heather and Terry,
- 30:30Speaker 2: but who cares. I mean, you know, they're not going
- 30:35Speaker 2: to unravel that anyway.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I couldn't tell.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Oh, Heather and Terry and her there have combined finances. Yes,
- 30:41Speaker 2: and he says they're one person, and they are he
- 30:43Speaker 2: is correct in that. So yeah, you're basically talking to
- 30:46Speaker 2: one person.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Who do you think was more Matt Gretchen at this
- 30:50Speaker 1: being talked about the next day, when she had hoped
- 30:52Speaker 1: that everybody had forgotten what she said, or or the
- 30:56Speaker 1: guy who was having to make the eggs.
- 30:58Speaker 2: By the way, who I think is the herbal chef
- 31:00Speaker 2: the Denise Richards weed dinner. I think, honey, is that
- 31:04Speaker 2: you because you need to come. I think that's Sam
- 31:07Speaker 2: where he goes bro dude, Denise Richards is fucked up
- 31:09Speaker 2: and she was like, go wash ther show, wash the show.
- 31:13Speaker 2: I'm like, we're on the.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Show, the show at this current moment.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's the same guy. The herbal chef
- 31:20Speaker 2: is that you babe, I have his number. I'm gonna
- 31:25Speaker 2: text because he needs to cook for me.
- 31:26Speaker 1: But I don't think he ever gave them the eggs
- 31:28Speaker 1: that they.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Were no And I love that he was like, I
- 31:30Speaker 2: am doing that.
- 31:32Speaker 1: He's like, because I checked all their plates afterwards and
- 31:35Speaker 1: I was like, no, no one got.
- 31:36Speaker 2: These, No one got these these eggs.
- 31:38Speaker 1: The eggs over hard, No no one got them.
- 31:40Speaker 2: And he said, I don't do that.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Then Gretchen tells Emily and Heather that they got her
- 31:45Speaker 1: in trouble. Then they're getting.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Massages well, and then wait, hold on. Emily says everything
- 31:49Speaker 2: between she and Shane is joy and she didn't sign
- 31:51Speaker 2: a prenup understand, Yeah, got.
- 31:54Speaker 1: That for sure. And then Gretchen tells Emily and Heather
- 31:58Speaker 1: they got her in trouble about bringing up Tamra's audio.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Gretchen doesn't want them to say anything, and Gretchen says
- 32:04Speaker 1: she's never said anything about an affair that was slack.
- 32:07Speaker 2: That's not true because in the car she may not
- 32:10Speaker 2: have remembered that.
- 32:12Speaker 1: But then Emily says she took the situation and made
- 32:15Speaker 1: them villains. She also says Gretchen and Tamara are the
- 32:18Speaker 1: same because they both tried to expose each other's affairs.
- 32:21Speaker 2: At the morning after trying to say, look, you said
- 32:26Speaker 2: what you said, Yeah, Tamor's going to find out about it.
- 32:30Speaker 2: You should actually go to her first and be like, hey,
- 32:33Speaker 2: just so you know, I said some fucked up shit.
- 32:36Speaker 2: But let's now, is this going to be like expose
- 32:40Speaker 2: each other's affairs?
- 32:42Speaker 1: This is going to be this is going to turn
- 32:44Speaker 1: into a massive thing.
- 32:45Speaker 2: In my opinion, I think it's going to turn into
- 32:49Speaker 2: a big thing.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because now it's going to show up. Leading up
- 32:53Speaker 1: until now, they've been kind of putting it all on Tam.
- 32:57Speaker 1: TAM's bringing up the past, even though has slowly been
- 33:01Speaker 1: bread crumbing bread crumbing. But watching this scene and then
- 33:06Speaker 1: Qretchen's remorse afterwards, like that panic that this is going
- 33:10Speaker 1: to come by me in the ass.
- 33:11Speaker 2: It is going to come by you.
- 33:12Speaker 1: In the plan all along. I wonder how long she's
- 33:16Speaker 1: been trying to get this story out there.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Well, apparently since reality blurb in twenty seventeen. No, I
- 33:22Speaker 2: don't know that to be true. I'm just speculating, so
- 33:25Speaker 2: don't get mad at me, But somebody wanted this story
- 33:28Speaker 2: out for a long time.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Somebody wanted this story out for a long time, and
- 33:31Speaker 1: I think it's kind of like a little bit ridiculous.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Yeah, who cares? I mean, the press, Why are we digging?
- 33:41Speaker 2: It's old beef. It's just eighteen year old seventeen year
- 33:45Speaker 2: old beef. We've talked about this on the show before,
- 33:47Speaker 2: about how they're going back and talking about these old things.
- 33:50Speaker 2: And now you had an affair. Well, you had an affair.
- 33:52Speaker 2: The hypocrisy is back and forth. Who fucking cares. It's over.
- 33:56Speaker 2: You guys have current lives and that's where it should be.
- 34:00Speaker 1: And I don't. And you guys can say I'm being biased.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I do not think Tamar had an affair with this man.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I have no idea, so I can't speculate. I mean,
- 34:10Speaker 2: you know, I don't know. I don't know enough to say.
- 34:13Speaker 2: I don't don't.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Think that there would be audio of a sexual encounter,
- 34:18Speaker 1: well on a in a studiodio where you're recording a
- 34:24Speaker 1: no hate.
- 34:25Speaker 2: That's my point. Like, if you were kicking it in
- 34:27Speaker 2: the studio and it was four am, and you were
- 34:29Speaker 2: with some hot person, you know, and you wanted to
- 34:34Speaker 2: suck his dick, and maybe the engineer left the mic open, Okay,
- 34:41Speaker 2: but I don't think that's what's happening.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I don't think that's what's happening here. I think they're
- 34:44Speaker 1: trying to make it into something into something more kind
- 34:48Speaker 1: of like naked wasted.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Kind of like naked wasted. Here's the other thing too,
- 34:52Speaker 2: If you got this audio, drop it. Yeah, you don't
- 34:56Speaker 2: have this audio, don't don't allude to things that may
- 34:58Speaker 2: or may not be.
- 34:58Speaker 1: And also, why is you're not offended when Emily is
- 35:05Speaker 1: clearly trying to get her tipsy?
- 35:08Speaker 2: I saw that too.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Yeah, like she wasn't offended at all because.
- 35:11Speaker 2: She because you know why, then she can go back
- 35:14Speaker 2: and say Emily got me tipsy. And that's why I
- 35:16Speaker 2: was talking all this ship and that's the perfect cover.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Oh.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I went over to Heather's and we went out. We
- 35:23Speaker 2: went to the abbey and we had so many drinks
- 35:25Speaker 2: and then I said this stuff, but I don't really
- 35:28Speaker 2: remember what I said in the car what the camera does?
- 35:31Speaker 1: And and then I called Slade and instead of playing
- 35:35Speaker 1: the song like the girls were asking.
- 35:37Speaker 2: We discussed more about Tamera. And now it's the next
- 35:52Speaker 2: morning with the herbal chef. I think it's you, and
- 35:55Speaker 2: now I'm having regret.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Regret and eggs and.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Regret and not even prepared the way I requested. Regretful eggs,
- 36:05Speaker 2: regretful eggs.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Then we go back to Temecula. A lot of this
- 36:08Speaker 1: episode was at the slumber party, which is cute.
- 36:12Speaker 2: I like it was cute. It's fun.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Heather shout out to Wonder Tents. That's my guess
- 36:17Speaker 1: who did it?
- 36:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, hey.
- 36:19Speaker 1: But you know it was fun and nice. I wonder
- 36:22Speaker 1: if Heather actually slept in that.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Room, I mean maybe for ten minutes.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I don't wonder if any of them slept.
- 36:31Speaker 1: In that room where they rotated into the room where
- 36:33Speaker 1: they were.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Having Who is liking how Gavin has to spend the
- 36:36Speaker 2: night with us with his iPhone just in case something
- 36:38Speaker 2: jumps up. Who is the Gavin down there? I don't know.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Probably Gavin probably.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Per gave for Gavin.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I love you, we love you, Gavin, miss you. Then
- 36:51Speaker 1: Shannon tells the group in Temecula her history with her
- 36:54Speaker 1: parents and how it was.
- 36:58Speaker 2: It was it was difficult, yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 1: And then Tamus brings up Shannon's dad having a drinking problem.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Okay, stop right there, we saw Shannon's dad earlier this year.
- 37:08Speaker 2: He's a sweet man. Yeah, here's the thing, and this
- 37:10Speaker 2: is why I think Shannon gets hurt. Like she can
- 37:13Speaker 2: talk about her dad having a drinking problem, but you can't.
- 37:16Speaker 2: And it's like I can talk about what a horrible
- 37:21Speaker 2: person Tom Girardi was, but when somebody else does, I'm
- 37:24Speaker 2: not gonna lie. I get a little like Hold on
- 37:26Speaker 2: a second, you know what I mean, Like, because it's
- 37:29Speaker 2: the instinct of protecting people that have been in your
- 37:31Speaker 2: life for a very long time.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Even if that person is trying to give you comfort, it.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Doesn't matter just the other way. But it's also even
- 37:41Speaker 2: if it's under the guise of comfort, their relationship is
- 37:45Speaker 2: not the best anyway. Yeah, it's always teetering on. You
- 37:48Speaker 2: said this, and then you've got her calling her an alcoholic.
- 37:52Speaker 2: So this right here, for me is a lot of
- 37:57Speaker 2: you know.
- 37:58Speaker 1: And then Shannon said she didn't like that her I've
- 38:00Speaker 1: a conversation with Tamara was brought up on camera.
- 38:02Speaker 2: We all know this. No private conversations in this world.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I'm sorry. You know better than that. She knows better
- 38:08Speaker 2: than that, we know better than that. The audience knows
- 38:10Speaker 2: better than that.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Dun jin speaks might be for the first time.
- 38:14Speaker 2: This episode, Yeah, which is fine with me.
- 38:16Speaker 1: She thinks that Tamora is trying to lay out that
- 38:19Speaker 1: Shannon's father suffered from alcoholism, so that the connection can
- 38:22Speaker 1: be made that it runs in the family, because Gina
- 38:25Speaker 1: was kind of the opposite ways, like she was like, no,
- 38:27Speaker 1: I think she was just trying to be a friend,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and then.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Gin's like, no, I think maybe we're pointing out something
- 38:33Speaker 2: else here. Yeah, either way, the man's ninety six.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Either way, the man is ninety six, and everybody's made
- 38:42Speaker 1: their time sessions already. But Shannon is clearly upset.
- 38:46Speaker 2: She said she her therapist told her not to come. Well,
- 38:49Speaker 2: you don't get paid if you don't, so we can
- 38:51Speaker 2: see how far that went.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Tamra says, Shannon doesn't even really care about her father.
- 38:57Speaker 2: That's not fair. I can't do that, Tamara. No, you
- 39:01Speaker 2: don't know that. But this is what she couldn't come
- 39:06Speaker 2: back and say, Tamor, you know, here's the thing. Then
- 39:09Speaker 2: somebody could come back and say, well, you don't care
- 39:11Speaker 2: about your daughter, you know what I mean, Like, don't
- 39:13Speaker 2: do that. Let's not do that.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Then it gets bad. But this is what you know,
- 39:18Speaker 1: clearly Tamara has been trying to be working on but
- 39:21Speaker 1: then whenever she gets plushed or feels rejection, she was reactive.
- 39:25Speaker 2: But you're going to have to suffer with those consequences
- 39:27Speaker 2: because you have to do better. They step back. If
- 39:30Speaker 2: you know you do this, you're going to have to
- 39:32Speaker 2: own what you do. And sorries only go so far,
- 39:36Speaker 2: because if you're constantly apologizing for something that you're allegedly
- 39:40Speaker 2: working on but you don't have control over it. Yeah,
- 39:44Speaker 2: you know. So I didn't like that out of Tamar,
- 39:46Speaker 2: and I think she's better than that. And we don't
- 39:49Speaker 2: need to beat up on Shannon or the relationship with
- 39:53Speaker 2: her dad because the truth is we don't know, and
- 39:54Speaker 2: maybe it's very complicated, like all of our relationships with
- 39:57Speaker 2: our parents. I mean, we all have very complicated relationships
- 40:00Speaker 2: with our parents. So let's not be beaten up on
- 40:03Speaker 2: the parents.
- 40:03Speaker 1: But I think this is the camera that Heather was
- 40:05Speaker 1: talking about when she's upset. She knows how to say
- 40:08Speaker 1: things that get under your skin.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's more than getting under your skin. There
- 40:12Speaker 2: are levels of getting under my skin. There's levels that irritate,
- 40:15Speaker 2: there are levels that make me, you know, bitchy back.
- 40:19Speaker 2: There are levels that make me want to cry, and
- 40:20Speaker 2: then when you make me cry, then you can get mean.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Then I can get really mean. And so I think
- 40:27Speaker 2: that we have to I think I've been giving this
- 40:30Speaker 2: some thought. Maybe I think I'm right. You know, these
- 40:34Speaker 2: shows are here to entertain and have a good time.
- 40:37Speaker 2: And I was watching an interview I think it was
- 40:40Speaker 2: on Derinda's Serious, her radio show, Yeah, and she had
- 40:46Speaker 2: Leuan on and they were talking about New York and
- 40:48Speaker 2: why it worked, and I forget which one of them will.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I think it might have been. I don't know if
- 40:52Speaker 2: it was. They said, well, what's happened is the shows
- 40:55Speaker 2: have become so very dark, and like, am I kind
- 40:59Speaker 2: of talking about this shit? I am am I talking
- 41:02Speaker 2: about what's happened on our show with all of us.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I am am I talking about lately. Yeah, Deunda and
- 41:10Speaker 2: Countess are right, you know, it used to be silly,
- 41:13Speaker 2: used to be silly. Now people are going to prison.
- 41:15Speaker 2: You've got you know, bad people doing bad things on shows.
- 41:19Speaker 2: You've got women's lives being really turned upside down. And yes,
- 41:23Speaker 2: we all sign up for we're also signing up to entertain.
- 41:29Speaker 2: And when it becomes like blood Sport, it's no longer entertaining.
- 41:33Speaker 2: They're right, it's dark.
- 41:34Speaker 1: But I think the difference between New York and a
- 41:36Speaker 1: lot of these other franchises is New York. You know,
- 41:41Speaker 1: the og New York. They were they weren't planned out, No,
- 41:46Speaker 1: it was kind of some hot messes going out there.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Or they were just some chicks that were authentically being themselves.
- 41:51Speaker 2: They were New Yorkers, they were doing their thing, and
- 41:53Speaker 2: they were they were fiercely confident enough in their own
- 41:57Speaker 2: skin to show what they really were really doing. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 2: but the shows have changed so much. And look, I'm
- 42:02Speaker 2: guilty too, so I'm not excusing myself.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I mean I agree with you in the darkness. I
- 42:08Speaker 1: mean except when we go back to like season one
- 42:11Speaker 1: Beverly Hills. There was that season one or season two
- 42:14Speaker 1: where there was a suicide. Yeah, it's alcoholism discussions.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you have Kim and Kyle fighting in the limo.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I could see where people would say that was dark.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Taylor's situation certainly dark, yes, but then it continues and
- 42:28Speaker 2: it perpetuates. That's I think what I'm hinging on here. Yeah.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Yeah, then there's a switch to something else, right, and
- 42:37Speaker 1: now there's not it's like we're just always dark. It's
- 42:40Speaker 1: just focusing on that, digging deeper and deep right into
- 42:43Speaker 1: that one situation.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Right. We don't need you to be surface level, but
- 42:47Speaker 2: surface level is entertaining to a point. You do watch
- 42:51Speaker 2: to escape, you do watch to have fun. It can't
- 42:55Speaker 2: always be dark. There has to be some sort of balance.
- 42:59Speaker 2: And I think that recently, and I'm talking across all shows,
- 43:03Speaker 2: and certainly I'm speaking from my own personal experience. It's
- 43:05Speaker 2: been a lot more dark than light, and the lightness
- 43:10Speaker 2: needs to return so that you can laugh. We can laugh,
- 43:13Speaker 2: the audience can laugh.
- 43:16Speaker 1: But there needs to be real friendships, yes, yes.
- 43:21Speaker 2: And not transactional situations. But also too listen, this is
- 43:27Speaker 2: a top down problem. It comes from the top. It
- 43:30Speaker 2: goes into production, it goes into what people say on
- 43:33Speaker 2: social media. I'm sorry to say, but you know, you're
- 43:37Speaker 2: getting very mixed messages. It's hard to be authentically yourself
- 43:41Speaker 2: and then you find out that, yeah, I was authentically myself,
- 43:45Speaker 2: but that's not what we're showing over there. That's true,
- 43:49Speaker 2: and that's true. And unfortunately, sometimes or most of the time,
- 43:55Speaker 2: seasons hone in on one or two stories, and that's
- 43:58Speaker 2: what gets pushed so hard and there's not much comedy,
- 44:02Speaker 2: you know, there's not much lightness or that much comedic relief.
- 44:05Speaker 2: But that's my rant for today. Well, I know when
- 44:08Speaker 2: you talk about darkness, are women coming in to destroy
- 44:12Speaker 2: each other, to take one one each other apart?
- 44:17Speaker 1: I think before people were just living their lives.
- 44:19Speaker 2: And sometimes I think the whole thing has evolved and
- 44:23Speaker 2: become much bigger than they thought it would ever be.
- 44:25Speaker 2: And it you can and it attracts a different but
- 44:29Speaker 2: it's kind of the nature of the show, like it's
- 44:32Speaker 2: changed so much.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Changed so much, and so is the world that we
- 44:35Speaker 1: live in.
- 44:35Speaker 2: You better believe it. And that's a good point. There
- 44:38Speaker 2: was no social media really, maybe Twitter certainly when the
- 44:41Speaker 2: shows started, not Instagram, I don't think, maybe Facebook, who knows.
- 44:46Speaker 1: But it's a completely different animal beast under percent. But
- 44:51Speaker 1: I mean I did like this episode.
- 44:53Speaker 2: I did too. I thought it's going to lead to
- 44:55Speaker 2: another episode that's going to be good. We're going to
- 44:59Speaker 2: have you.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Know, I think they go on the trip soon.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Where's the trip?
- 45:03Speaker 1: Had I forget Amsterdam? The trips in Amsterdam?
- 45:07Speaker 2: Well, Well, hey, Lisa, shout out to Lisa. By the way,
- 45:13Speaker 2: you see that nice Vogue thing. Love you so much,
- 45:20Speaker 2: but yeah, I want and like the Katie thing not
- 45:25Speaker 2: filming with her, and now I guess the Gretchen thing
- 45:28Speaker 2: allegedly blows up so bad later on. I don't know.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Maybe I'm just bitching, but I do wish that there
- 45:35Speaker 2: was more balance, and I think that Derinda and the
- 45:37Speaker 2: Countess had a good point.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Yeah, there needs to be more fun. Yeah, needs to
- 45:41Speaker 1: be more fun.
- 45:42Speaker 2: And there need to be people on the shows that
- 45:43Speaker 2: want to have more fun. And we need to look,
- 45:46Speaker 2: life is already bad enough. We know what we're already battling.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I mean, come on, I want more fun.
- 45:52Speaker 2: You need to I know, That's what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 2: like you deserve more fun.
- 45:57Speaker 1: But being on the hunt for fun is also good
- 46:00Speaker 1: and entertaining to.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Watch exactly, and there's some you know, fun things.
- 46:04Speaker 1: You can do, so we want to see that too.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Yep, we want more fun.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Thanks guys for tuning in to another episode of Diamonds
- 46:11Speaker 1: in the Rough and we will be back, hopefully soon
- 46:15Speaker 1: to recap the next episode.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks so much. Sorry for the rant, but not
- 46:20Speaker 2: really
