- 0:23do it. This is the safe place where our
- 0:27stories are told and met with compassion, love, understanding
- 0:33and faith. This.
- 1:46Two to three BHK house for rent in Kanpur.
- 2:51So I found out I had a pain management appointment this
- 2:56morning. Yeah, this morning.
- 2:59Because where they did that back surgery on me, it made me worse.
- 3:03And it was just possible to see about doing injections at some
- 3:08point in the future. Hold.
- 3:11On I'm sitting there you put them motherfuckers in there for
- 3:17oh in the air fryer. Oh, OK, thought you put the
- 3:20motherfuckers in the microwave. I'm like 10 minutes in the
- 3:23microwave for Dino nuggies. You're an idiot, I.
- 3:27Love Dino nuggies. First off, that's my 15 year
- 3:33old. I AM 44 years old, did I buy
- 3:37Dino nuggies? For me.
- 4:29Yeah, but the, the, the, the kids ain't been in the hoose
- 4:33cow. They're they're 13 and under.
- 4:39I never forget one time whenever I was in the hoose cow this kid
- 4:45got this kid got cocky with me and I started fucking putting
- 4:50him in his place and I told him I was going to sell him.
- 4:56One of one of the other guys in there hollered out.
- 4:59I got a soup. So what the fuck are we up to
- 5:09tonight? Not much. the VA or my doctor.
- 5:15I have to go in in the morning for new injections in my spine.
- 5:22They hit me with I'm going to need a ride to the hospital at
- 5:25the very last minute. So that's fun trying to figure
- 5:27out they put me on a new muscle relaxer.
- 5:30That boy, I don't like it. Why not?
- 5:34Because. It just knocked me the fuck out.
- 5:37Dude I was eating dinner and like half drooling and fell
- 5:43asleep. That's a that's a normal thing
- 5:46for you. That's what I was thinking too.
- 5:55Assholes. Why are my friends assholes?
- 5:58I thought maybe thought maybe you were practicing to be a bull
- 6:01mastiff. No, I've got a great day and he
- 6:06drools enough for everybody, I promise.
- 6:09Looks like looks like he swallowed A10, swallowed a
- 6:12tennis shoe and the laces are hanging out.
- 6:25Oh, and I'm. Coming off of a sinus infection
- 6:28that I gave myself because, well, I'm an asshole.
- 6:40Hold, Hold that thought because I see the wheels turn and hold
- 6:43that thought. So cowboy, there's a there's a
- 6:56veteran that used to live down the road from me on a on a dirt
- 6:59Rd. that's right across from my house.
- 7:03Seen him in like 5 months, six months and I saw him today.
- 7:08He actually got into a car accident.
- 7:11Oh. Shit.
- 7:15Five, about 5 1/2 months ago. So he was pretty much stuck at
- 7:21his cabin until about two weeks ago.
- 7:26He had a Halo on for his neck, but that's the bad news.
- 7:35Part of it is that he got in an accident.
- 7:37The good news part of it? Him and his wife both have quit
- 7:41drinking now. That's.
- 7:44And they were and they and they weren't.
- 7:46They hadn't even been drinking when they had the accident.
- 7:53They tested because, Yep, the cops know him here in the county
- 7:58and that was the first thing they'd done when they got to the
- 8:00hospital is make him do a blood draw to find out if he'd been
- 8:03drinking or not. And he Hatton and that.
- 8:06Kind of. Yep.
- 8:09And that kind of woke him up and he said he's had one beer in
- 8:13five months. So it's a cowboy, to answer your
- 8:18question, at about 1:30 in the morning when you're, you know,
- 8:22half awake, eyes not really open, these bottles look a lot
- 8:26alike. This is nasal solution.
- 8:31This is don't. Ear.
- 8:33Fucking. Spray ear solution not for you.
- 8:43You know, I think you're so smart, you'd fail.
- 8:46You'd fail a pregnancy test. Probably.
- 8:56But yeah, so did. You seriously use that in your
- 8:59nose this morning? Not this morning like last week.
- 9:03That's why I've been battling the sinus infection for the past
- 9:05four days. Well, at least you know you
- 9:13don't have any ear mites or whatever.
- 9:16Come on, penis or in my nose, my chest or anything else?
- 9:21Yeah, you know it. It really sucks when those ear
- 9:23mics hit your. Nails.
- 9:25Come Yeah, damn it. Like I like I said, you're so
- 9:34smart for a little pregnancy test.
- 9:36Yeah, probably. Can we on the radio tonight?
- 9:43We are. I hope they enjoyed the shit out
- 9:46of that. Right, Some of them are probably
- 9:54laughing hard enough they're on the floor.
- 9:59Right now we only so far. It's still early though.
- 10:05We have one viewer on Twitch right now, but it's still early.
- 10:17Hi. Hi, that one viewer on Twitch.
- 10:19Call your buddies. Let's see how stupid National
- 10:22Guard really is. Cowboy, damn it.
- 10:32Fucking nasty Gopher. Hey, you know what, dude?
- 10:36It is what it is. Yeah, you love it.
- 10:41Yeah, no, I do. You know, if I did, if I wasn't
- 10:45picking on you, you'd be worried.
- 10:47I'm very exactly, exactly. I will, I will put this out
- 10:53there to everybody that it's sometime next month there's
- 10:59going to be 1 Warrior Wednesday that we are going to skip for
- 11:02that week because I am going on a trip up north so.
- 11:12Are you going to go? Are you going to go find your
- 11:14long lost boyfriend? Really.
- 11:21No, not at all. No.
- 11:26You know where I'm going, hey? Hey, hey.
- 11:30I haven't. I haven't found an idea.
- 11:31I haven't found an idea. And where, where the fuck is
- 11:33she? What up, Ethan?
- 11:36She said. She'll be in here shortly.
- 11:44So so the wife. The wife just got the laugh that
- 11:47the me and cowboy got. Sorry, actually sorry, sorry.
- 12:05Just just call me Reese's. Sorry, not sorry.
- 12:12See like, and that's Reese's. I couldn't be, I couldn't have a
- 12:15genie ask me like for 3 wishes because I'd be like, I want like
- 12:19Reese's to moan when I take the little panties off and shit.
- 12:23Yeah. Like just random shit like that,
- 12:27you know what I mean? Flared bass.
- 12:33What? Yeah, Probably.
- 12:38So, HB. Probably.
- 12:43Yeah. And.
- 12:44And Larry, don't worry about it. It was about you.
- 12:45Not to you. I I.
- 12:49I know. That one, that one viewer that
- 12:59you. Guys, if A tree's not picking on
- 13:01me, I know he's mad at. Me, that one viewer that you got
- 13:04on got on Twitch is going God damn that cowboy.
- 13:07He's a funny guy, but he's an asshole.
- 13:16Thank you. Thank you very much.
- 13:17I'm here all week. No, actually I came on earlier,
- 13:29kind of scrolled through was looking for you, see if you was,
- 13:33see if you was up and going yet. And then I got got off for, I
- 13:40don't know, probably about 15 minutes came back and there you
- 13:43is. Yeah, I'd normally start right
- 13:46at about 8:00. Last week I started later, but
- 13:51generally I start right at 8:00. But I really honestly I, and I'm
- 14:01sure y'all know this I I ain't been doing much on this fucking
- 14:06app. I know.
- 14:10It's been. Really.
- 14:11Honestly, I haven't been doing much on here either.
- 14:14What up low note? Blah blah blah.
- 14:25What the fuck are you looking at that one?
- 14:31Well, am I looking at you when I said it, dumbass?
- 14:33He looks like he's going to speak with me.
- 14:40Let's see here. So the wife just told me that
- 14:47I'm probably going to have to take her back to the ER
- 14:50tomorrow. Well, that's not.
- 14:53Fun. What's going on now,
- 15:07Larry? I said.
- 15:16Why for now? Oh pains come back get in at
- 15:29left link. I gotcha.
- 15:32Hell, I was. I was thinking technology got
- 15:35the best of Larry. With him it happens like.
- 15:42It happens to me too, but I've learned how to fake it.
- 15:56There may be some other things in the work at some point soon
- 15:58too. Now, like I said, technology
- 16:06gets the best of that fucker. Yeah, it really did.
- 16:08Didn't. It Yeah.
- 16:10It's at wish.com Wi-Fi he's got. Hell, it's not even wish.
- 16:16It's still Obama. Larry's still using dial up.
- 16:25Yeah, you're still using dial up, but you don't know where the
- 16:28phone is. You don't know where the disk is
- 16:30at. You've got mail, Yeah.
- 16:42I didn't even fucking give a fuck about emails or anything
- 16:46back then. Me neither, I still don't.
- 16:48I still don't care much about it.
- 16:50I. So I religiously checked my
- 16:52e-mail only because like when I was working in the like the
- 16:59office, while I was in the guard, everything was done by
- 17:03e-mail. So.
- 17:05I still, I can't have like emails sitting there that
- 17:08haven't been fucking read or deleted.
- 17:12That's one of the things they got rid of.
- 17:15What's up, bud? So what's the horse's name?
- 17:19Loki. Oh yeah, that's right.
- 17:22Fuck, my eyes are. My eyes are open.
- 17:30It doesn't mean I'm fucking awake.
- 17:36Especially since they've been keeping me and fucking working
- 17:40in OR as fuck. I like it though.
- 17:49Running your ass around, huh? Yeah, especially being
- 17:52especially like today. I was glad the day's my Friday,
- 17:55but today the guy who usually works in OR with me, he called
- 18:02out. So I had an idiot.
- 18:10And I told my supervisor if you ever put that bitch in there
- 18:13with me again, I'm going home. He said no big and.
- 18:25Then wonder why he's not there today.
- 18:33No, I was talking about the replacement for him that was
- 18:36there today. No, put me.
- 18:39Yeah, but I would like I said, I was really glad that today's my
- 18:46Friday. Yeah.
- 18:53Of course. Shit, I usually work harder
- 18:55around the house on my days off than I do at work.
- 19:00Another way it goes though. Yeah, You know, it's amazing how
- 19:05much more shit's gotten done around here since I quit coming
- 19:13on fucking TikTok. Yeah.
- 19:20Very few people that I even give a fuck to go in their lives
- 19:24anymore. Oh, I'm special Ed, but I'm
- 19:29still special. Well, at least you know what you
- 19:32know It's funny. Every time someone ate here
- 19:35lately, somebody says something about Special Ed.
- 19:41Motherfucker. My middle name's Edward.
- 19:48I wish I was joking, but I'm not.
- 19:50I know you've told me that before.
- 19:57Yeah, and then I probably told you that I've got three first
- 20:00names. No.
- 20:04My my full name is Johnny Edward Derrick.
- 20:11Yeah, you know what? I know your name because it
- 20:14popped up. You used to be on Facebook.
- 20:17Yeah, you just didn't know for sure and it because it doesn't
- 20:21say on there what my middle name is, but.
- 20:23Yeah, no, I wasn't sure about your middle name, but.
- 20:28Yeah, my my uncle spells you. Do have three first names?
- 20:32And my my daddy is Raymond Edward Derrick.
- 20:40My grandfather even had three first names with Earl, Raymond,
- 20:44Derrick, pretty much all my uncles who that.
- 20:53It's kind of hard to be a man and not have three first names
- 20:56whenever your last name is also a first name.
- 20:59Yeah, I don't have that issue. I'm a ham.
- 21:08Yeah, you are a little porky. Yeah.
- 21:12I'm aware but that, but that but that's.
- 21:15All right, my girl likes it. Well, you know, some some people
- 21:21like small favors. Oh my God, I'm going to tell her
- 21:31you said that too. Yeah, tell her.
- 21:35Tell her cowboy herd it's not only little and short too.
- 21:42It needs it needs to grow up to be a Tic Tac.
- 21:48But damn baby, you got fresh breath.
- 21:56Jesus, did you figure out technology?
- 22:00I had to reset my router. Yeah, OK.
- 22:04So he he figured out technology. Yeah.
- 22:09Oh, we got storms coming through so.
- 22:12Us too. That sounds like a.
- 22:15Listen if if. We'll call that a.
- 22:17We'll call that a viable excuse. I'm going to say this to
- 22:20everybody. If everything gets shut off out
- 22:22of nowhere, we are in a tornado warning still, so we've been in
- 22:26one all goddamn day. What state are you in besides
- 22:31the state of confusion? Missouri.
- 22:35Misery. Hey, Emo.
- 22:41Shit, there goes the neighborhood.
- 22:44Yep. Oh, in case y'all can't tell,
- 22:57nobody's safe around me. I'm I'm in the mood to pick on
- 23:00anybody and everybody. Love you too, cowboy.
- 23:10Mine's pretty we're #1. Thank you for the roses, Larry.
- 23:15See, Larry loves me. That's just a ploy.
- 23:23He said love is a very loose term.
- 23:28How are you guys doing? Hey Braddy doing.
- 23:30Great. Hey, Braddy.
- 23:33Hey Braddy, I. Went to the VA today.
- 23:38I'm sorry. I know, me too.
- 23:42Hey, you said Larry loves you, so don't even fucking go there.
- 23:51Got her. We will go live once this is all
- 23:58done and I will give you the corgi dance.
- 24:03I thought you were going to say we'll go live and I'll show you
- 24:05my boobies. No, no, no.
- 27:32King I'd be all for it, but it's a lot of walking to get it like
- 27:36into the park and all that stuff.
- 27:39Hey, Mandy. Hi, Mandy.
- 27:44Hi, Mandy. That's another veteran.
- 27:54Welcome to shit show. I thought so.
- 27:58We're friends. I I had a friend once.
- 28:04And a Reaper. You have friends?
- 28:07No. Hi Reaper.
- 28:12He he has acquaintances. Well, he said he had a friend
- 28:16once. I had I did have a friend once
- 28:19and then I then they realized that I really am an asshole.
- 28:23That sounds about right, yeah. Those are the best of friends
- 28:27them. I.
- 28:29Actually, I actually got kicked out of a box the other night.
- 28:32You wait. Wait, what?
- 28:34You. I don't even want to know.
- 28:36I don't. Even want to know I.
- 28:38Don't want to know that we all put up with like.
- 28:40I'm curious what you did to get kicked out of a box.
- 28:43I said I only only thing I did was I said Pornhub and doctor
- 28:55cat kicked me out. Because that can get her banned.
- 29:00Yeah, that, no, that can get me banned.
- 29:03It falls onto the live. List it goes on to the host.
- 29:08Emo found out. We found out together because
- 29:12Emo said a word, then I. Then I probably shouldn't be
- 29:18loud in the box because I'm going to say whatever the fuck I
- 29:21feel anyway. I mean.
- 29:25As in reason within reason. No, he.
- 29:29Listen that man. Doesn't understand reason.
- 29:31If he thinks that in his brain that's going to come out of his
- 29:33mouth just like me. The difference is he gives no
- 29:36fucks. I mean, I'm down for it, trust
- 29:39me, but I mean only because of the TikTok, you know?
- 29:44No, like he doesn't care. Shutting it down.
- 29:51Oh cowboy, where'd you go? We hurt his feelings.
- 29:54He's crying in the in the bathroom.
- 29:59Nobody puts baby in the corner but.
- 30:03Somebody will put. Cowboy at school.
- 30:04It's my corner and I'll take all the.
- 30:06Money that it gives. Me, I was waiting.
- 30:09I was waiting. Oh, that's too funny.
- 30:17And Sarge, before you start calling me baby, maybe we should
- 30:19have a private conversation. Hey, wait a minute.
- 30:26Only on Thursdays, bud. Well just go on a ship, it's not
- 30:31gay if it's underway. The 5th Thursday of the 13th
- 30:36month. 5th Thursday the 13th month got you.
- 30:40Yeah, let me put it on my calendar.
- 30:44Reaper's like ye. Ye, oh man.
- 30:57What's up, bratty? Huh.
- 31:03I said what's up? Oh no, I was laughing.
- 31:06My old man was. Oh gosh.
- 31:08What's your boss? It's.
- 31:10Very Minnesota of me, I guess, to say that.
- 31:14See, so listen, I would, I would trust Oz in a box more than I
- 31:17would trust Cowboy in a box, which is saying something.
- 31:23Well, it depends on what box we're talking about there,
- 31:25darlin. Oh Lord.
- 31:27Jesus, boxes I I can't with you guys.
- 31:33Braddy. I'm so glad that I'm not the
- 31:34only girl on here. Trust me, me too me.
- 31:38Too doing good on. Yeah, but the deal is, yes, I
- 31:48know Braddy, but Braddy and I don't have the relationship that
- 31:53you and I have, Emo. That's fair, That's fair.
- 31:57I haven't known you as long tumbling.
- 31:59Oh, he. Where's that?
- 32:03Cowboy's the nicest asshole you're ever going to meet.
- 32:07I zimble that remark. OK.
- 32:13Hey, you made single, Ozzy wrote.
- 32:17Yeah, I can't be stressing the box.
- 32:18He's going to be watching this speculator.
- 32:19Listen. But that's why I love you,
- 32:22right? Like you.
- 32:24You help me be more like, I don't know you're.
- 32:28Yeah, Brain stopped working. That's nothing new makes.
- 32:38Sense it kind of is. Well, no, it's not.
- 32:40OK. Fair.
- 32:45I mean, come on emo, but there there has been times that
- 32:49between your ears invented space.
- 32:52Oh. My goodness, Alta.
- 33:01Jeez, come what? Oh, I'm not even started yet,
- 33:06Braddy. Oh no, trust me, this is this is
- 33:09nice Cowboy. This is how we are giving your
- 33:12team. Hi wise man Rivers.
- 33:16This is Cowboy behaving himself like it gets to the point where
- 33:22like me and Cowboy all get on to each other, where people think
- 33:25we're actually fighting and then we just end up.
- 33:28And we only do that so we can make up later.
- 33:32Yeah, that's fair. The best part about fighting is
- 33:40making up. Why do you think I, why do you
- 33:43think I talk so much? Makes everybody mad at me so
- 33:44that I can be like, can we make up now?
- 33:48It's like the best part of waking up is not giving a fuck.
- 33:55Not me trying to do the Folgers thing, OK?
- 34:02My coffee maker broke. I've been having to use my
- 34:04prints back. I don't do coffee anymore.
- 34:11Brady. What?
- 34:15Did you just really just say that you don't do coffee
- 34:22anymore? What was it like doing coffee?
- 34:26I'm curious I. Do every now and then.
- 34:28I I don't do liquids normally the person that I'm doing is a
- 34:31solid, so what's it like doing a liquid?
- 34:40I do coffee every now and then, but summertime I'm straight
- 34:45actually. Coffee can be actually coffee
- 34:48can be mixed with that, and that's rather fun.
- 34:50But anyway. You got 18 plus on.
- 34:57Yes, I do. Then that.
- 35:01Probably should have filtered. Probably should have put 21
- 35:04plus. But no, when I was going to come
- 35:06in a box, yeah. I mean, listen.
- 35:08I don't know how to set it to 21 and above on I can.
- 35:10Only do 18 and above. Listen, I walked in and Cowboy
- 35:13goes, well, there goes the neighborhood and like, Yep, Yep.
- 35:18Somebody's comment just got filtered.
- 35:21Yeah, I see that. Who, wise man, what did you say?
- 35:24It's probably Oz. Maybe I don't know any of these.
- 35:36People so. No, it's OK.
- 35:38I know all of these people. Why wise?
- 35:41Man, I told you it was Oz. What?
- 35:46OK, Oz, I need you to come in a box so you can tell us the
- 35:49comment that you said that got filtered.
- 35:54Listen, and here's the thing. So I won't even be in the whole
- 35:57box. If somebody else comes in,
- 35:59Braddy's going to be in the whole box because Larry's going
- 36:01to go up on top and then I'm going to go where Larry is and
- 36:03Braddy's going to be in the whole box.
- 36:05And then we can all poker. It'll be fun.
- 36:06I don't. Know what that means, but sure.
- 36:12No. So if anybody's going to be
- 36:16poking. Hey, I take hey.
- 36:25So wise man Rivers is a veteran. I spoke to him today along with
- 36:31Can Dude. Yes I I know can dude.
- 36:35Wise man, Wise man for a while. I I did he wise man today, but
- 36:39he seems pretty cool. I've known Can dude for a bit.
- 36:45Wise man is in a lot of times. He's in Vet Nation cards live of
- 36:50a morning. Which is weird because that's
- 36:53not How I Met him. I met him, he was in his own
- 36:55life. And I jumped in and we started
- 36:56talking about like card. Well, that's that's how that's
- 36:59how me and wise met each other was with in Will's life.
- 37:05I'm. Going to make you a profile
- 37:08picture. That's a cowboy hat with a
- 37:10warning label. Not it it, it's kind of kind of
- 37:19there anyway, because the shirt there, that's the sharp look.
- 37:29At it I'm talking it's going to be like bright yellow like bam
- 37:32like warning like you I but the. Work.
- 38:11But the shirt that I wore today definitely fit me.
- 38:16It's got Snoopy and Woodstock and it says not today.
- 38:25I have a Woodstock tattoo. Oh cool cool, but yes definitely
- 38:31the part where it says not today.
- 38:34That fit me well. Yeah.
- 38:40I told I told the the girl that I was working with today that
- 38:44that if she would, if she if her if her IQ went up about 20
- 38:48points, she'd be as smart as a box of rocks.
- 38:59I bet your managers love meeting with you and stuff like that
- 39:03happens. Oh, I told him.
- 39:06I told my supervisor what I said.
- 39:08I said, so you're probably going to get a report that I'm that
- 39:12Johnny's being mean. And he goes, yeah, so he was
- 39:16telling the truth. Them boom boom boom.
- 39:35Sorry, sorry. No, sorry.
- 39:39We can tell that you guys are texting each other.
- 39:42Just save it for after, OK? Emo emo was in in alive the
- 39:47first time that I looked at someone and said I bet your
- 39:50daddy slapped the shit out of your Mama for not swallowing.
- 39:56Wow, that's how you work for. Bro.
- 40:01George is up there. Going Damn it cowboy, why'd I
- 40:03let you in a box? He thinks that every time he
- 40:08does. Yeah, I mean, me too.
- 40:10And then he does it again. Hey, that's six.
- 40:13How are you? I gotta talk to you later.
- 40:18I saw something that said that if you have like orthotics or
- 40:26like any kind of equipment through the VA that you get
- 40:45maybe. Who?
- 40:46Bless. The.
- 40:48Man. I've slept since yesterday, I'm
- 40:53sorry. No 22 last night.
- 40:58Oh no. Yeah, I've.
- 41:01I've sent lives with that man for a while.
- 41:04Just you're going to see some stuff and just I'm.
- 41:09Hey, do you? I'm OK, do you?
- 41:12Want me to send you my number? I have your number.
- 41:15OK. Do you need me to leave?
- 41:17So I'm OK? I'll meet.
- 41:18Are you sure? No, I'm good.
- 41:20OK, OK. I didn't know him as like well.
- 41:24It doesn't matter. Heads up, just there's going to
- 41:26be a lot of shit and you have people who I've already seen
- 41:31people who've never spent a day in the live or talking with that
- 41:35man, like trying to get the clout.
- 41:37Well, and somebody just also posted on disgruntled veterans
- 41:42Rep page, web page that someone else did that today.
- 41:46We lost. I want to say it's a Sergeant
- 41:51private or SCTF correct or something I don't know.
- 41:54It's fine. Yeah.
- 41:56Didn't want to come in and like bring it down but fuck that.
- 42:00No, I listen. That's what it's.
- 42:02What the fuck? Are we doing?
- 42:05That that's what this is here for.
- 42:08Like what the fuck? It's shit like that that makes
- 42:11me want to reach out to every veteran that has an issue with
- 42:14every other veteran and like hit them in the head for the brick.
- 42:17Oh the fucking drama in the community again.
- 42:21And that's what we're trying not to make here.
- 42:24Whatever, I I hear you, but fucking shit.
- 42:30Hang away stars. What's up?
- 42:32How are you, Sir? Not much how you been, I mean,
- 42:36other than that obviously. Well, I started this, you know
- 42:40what I mean? So that way, get away from the
- 42:43drama and the bullshit and fucking reach out to each other
- 42:46like we should be doing, you know what I mean?
- 42:49I I can't reach out and touch you because Braddy's in the way,
- 42:52but Braddy. That's fine, I get it.
- 42:54I, I, it's, I think I've learned that it doesn't matter what you
- 43:00do. Yeah.
- 43:04Fuck. Come here, come here, come here,
- 43:19come here, come here. Why are you looking at me like
- 43:25that bro? In the mood.
- 43:28Oh, you're in the mood, bro. Yeah, Cowboy, are you OK and.
- 43:35I forgot I should have known my audience and I apologize.
- 43:38No, no, no, no, no, no. You're OK, cowboy.
- 43:46Are you sure? Do you want me to head over to
- 43:50snap and do the the? No.
- 43:54Corgi dance, you said you owe. Him.
- 43:56Yeah, the corgi dance. No.
- 44:00And. No, I'm I'm fixing to get real
- 44:05fucking serious. At times times call for serious
- 44:11men and women. Sorry man, I didn't mean to go
- 44:14on that one. And I, and I hope and I and I
- 44:17fucking hope. I hope there's people listening
- 44:20and I hope there's people paying attention.
- 44:26Everyone knows why the why this why this subject hits me so
- 44:31fucking hard. Yeah.
- 44:37And if if I brought up something bro.
- 44:40No, no, no, no. You brought you, you, you
- 44:43brought, you brought me. You brought me down to where it
- 44:49it took. It takes me a second to to
- 44:52process whenever I hear something like that, and then
- 44:56I'm OK. But everyone knows and it's
- 45:01because of the one, right? Oh, I can't reach all that far,
- 45:08right? Way over.
- 45:11There in that picture that is folks, for those of y'all that
- 45:19don't know, that was my, that was my son.
- 45:23Still is in my heart, but that was my son.
- 45:27Absolutely. That less than a little bit less
- 45:30than six months after he departed from the service, he
- 45:34became one of the fucking 22 a day.
- 45:37And it's so sad that the the 22 veterans a day is just a fucking
- 45:45symbol now because the number is more like 60 and above.
- 45:51Yeah, no, it is a day. Did you see the interview with
- 45:56the director from the VA about how much money they invested?
- 46:01Because they're react, they're purely reactionary.
- 46:06It's what was it, 5.5? No, it's like it.
- 46:13Was like 5. It was like $5.5 million was
- 46:17invested and it's as prevalent as it was now as it is back
- 46:22then. What the fuck are we doing it?
- 46:24Would be, it would, but I'm going to say this and I, and I
- 46:27want people to understand this. It would be so much worse if we
- 46:33didn't have like the suicide prevention teams and stuff like
- 46:36that at the VA's and everything like that.
- 46:39If we didn't have them, the numbers would probably be in the
- 46:43fucking hundreds. Yeah, I mean once I I need to
- 46:46change over. Everyone likes to do their push
- 46:52ups, their videos with their push ups.
- 46:55They like to do their videos where they're just just talking
- 47:02about it and wrong to raise awareness and everything.
- 47:05And, and everyone has this attitude of, oh, if you need me,
- 47:10reach out to me. No motherfucker, people need to
- 47:14fucking listen and pay attention.
- 47:18I know this from whenever I attempted it my fucking self
- 47:23three years ago. If I need.
- 47:29Someone. If I need someone, I'm not going
- 47:34to reach out to someone. It's going to take someone
- 47:38bringing trying to connect with me just like with anybody else.
- 47:47That is one of the best men at reaching out.
- 47:50I tried. You do.
- 47:53Does, I mean, does he do it all the time?
- 47:55No. But none, none of us do because
- 47:57life gets in the fucking way. It's called.
- 48:00It's called. We have lives.
- 48:02We have to live. We have families.
- 48:05We have, we have, we have responsibilities.
- 48:10I try to reach out to people. That's one.
- 48:13That's one reason why I do my my my daily motivation.
- 48:17I love your daily motivation snaps by the way, and.
- 48:21If I and there's one day that I don't get a cowboy, I'm coming
- 48:25looking for you. Oh.
- 48:28You better pick me up on the way.
- 48:29There's been several ways several days here lately that
- 48:33nobody got them because I I didn't do it for almost 2 weeks.
- 48:38I barely check snap bro. But.
- 48:46And the sad part is whenever people say, hey, if you need me,
- 48:50reach out to me. Most of the time people don't
- 48:54really want you to reach out to them.
- 48:55Whenever they say that, they say that to get the monkey off off
- 48:59their back. Hey, hey now.
- 49:02Now you know. I said.
- 49:04I said most of the time. I know I'm.
- 49:07I'm just. We need to stop doing fucking
- 49:12lip services. That's what it is at a certain
- 49:18point, because there was a young man down the road.
- 49:21He's an Air Force guy, 23 years old, right?
- 49:28It's grandstanding. It's what do they call it?
- 49:34God Dang it. I can't think of the phrase if.
- 49:36You're talking about on TikTok. It's looking for clout.
- 49:43Virtue signaling right? And the VA can only do so much
- 49:52right? I still do not understand why
- 49:58they're completely reactive resource.
- 50:02I I just all that money for what?
- 50:05Because the people that work at the VA, most of the people work
- 50:08there for money. I know a couple of people that
- 50:11actually work in the VA and actually care.
- 50:14But I, I know of three people in the past six months that have
- 50:17quit the VA because they couldn't handle the stress of
- 50:20it, because they didn't have the support that they needed at work
- 50:24with other VA employees and they couldn't handle it.
- 50:29That's my opinion. Well, I mean, I'm with you, but
- 50:33it doesn't excuse that kind of money.
- 50:38No, I. I mean, I'm not blaming you, no.
- 50:40No, no, no, I understand. But we all know people who work
- 50:44at the VA, we all know, I know people who work at VHAI know, we
- 50:47all know people that work at VHB.
- 50:49We all know people who actually work in the hospitals and all
- 50:52that crap. And it's like, I'm why is it?
- 50:56Yeah. And it's at the point where why
- 51:00is that rate as high? And we haven't been to war,
- 51:09Yeah, you know, especially amongst the active duty army.
- 51:14Components. Like what the fuck?
- 51:19I'm getting get in here meals. I have talked to just a bit, you
- 51:28know, people who go like Troy, all them people go to Congress.
- 51:34And it's like, OK, I understand green therapy.
- 51:38I I understand this. But unfortunately, fuck that
- 51:41shit. Can we please stop the bleeding?
- 51:44Yeah. There's no reason.
- 51:46Because you're a veteran, I'm going to tell you from my
- 51:50experience, vet, I've found that a lot of the local veterans
- 51:56organizations in the throughout the different cities and states
- 52:00are able to do a lot and reach people a lot easier, sometimes
- 52:05unfortunately, than the VA is. I I get that.
- 52:11But what it what I don't understand is the active duty
- 52:16component side. Yeah, no, it goes up every year.
- 52:22Yeah. So I will I'll tell you a story
- 52:26and it it has nothing to do with anybody with 22.
- 52:30But as far as like the active duty side, I have a lot of
- 52:33friends who are still active and one of my friend's husbands is
- 52:39he does something as far as like fixing boats, right?
- 52:43And he had to trail put a boat on a trailer and drive it from
- 52:47one side of the base to the other.
- 52:50The boat scratched against a tree limb, right?
- 52:54Not a big deal. It happens.
- 52:56No big deal. He went to C OS mask over it and
- 53:00got busted down over a fucking tree Lin.
- 53:04Over a scratch. Yeah, over a scratch on a ship,
- 53:07on a tree. Lin That kind of shit is what's
- 53:10going on with the active duty components.
- 53:15Well, then you got to think too. The the divorce rate and
- 53:18everything else throughout active duty skyrocketed over the
- 53:21past 20 years. Yeah, insanely skyrocketed.
- 53:26I have an. Opinion on that?
- 53:28That's a divorce. Go ahead cowboy.
- 53:30I'm sorry bro. Whenever and I'm sorry, I'm
- 53:36going to put this mainly on the men in the military.
- 53:41Whenever men quit being allowed to be men in the military
- 53:48whenever and, you know, everyone talks about how the Suez, the,
- 53:56the, the, you know, that word rate is so much higher and
- 54:03everything like that now than it ever was.
- 54:09Yeah, it is because everyone's allowed to wear their feelings
- 54:15on their sleeves now. Everyone's allowed to go.
- 54:21Oh, you hurt my feelings now. Because.
- 54:33I also don't agree with you, cowboy.
- 54:35I'm sorry. I think that talking about our
- 54:38feelings is better than bottling them up and hiding them.
- 54:43That's me personally. But you also have to think, and
- 54:46this, this is from my perspective as someone who was
- 54:49active duty and had kids in the military, It's really, really
- 54:53hard for a woman to have kids and still be in the military
- 54:58because you're basically told that you're never doing it
- 55:00right. Oh, you're not spending enough
- 55:02time with your kids. Oh, you're not devoted enough to
- 55:04your job. Oh, you're not like if you're
- 55:06married, Oh, you're not giving enough time to your husband.
- 55:08So I feel like every, every person, every woman, every man,
- 55:14Oh, we can't be men in the military anymore.
- 55:16And oh, we can't be women in the military anymore.
- 55:18I, I think that that's a cop out and that's just me.
- 55:22In my opinion, and probably you know, I, I freaking love you and
- 55:25I'm having a hard time finding the correct words.
- 55:28OK, OK, listen, I'm not. Having a hard time finding the
- 55:30right words. But what I'm saying is let's
- 55:33look at the numbers. The.
- 55:35Numbers are higher now than they.
- 55:38Ever. Been.
- 55:39OK, but that's also because we don't really have camaraderie
- 55:44anymore. I think it's resiliency.
- 55:47So are we talking about our duty alone?
- 55:49Are we talking? About overall better no more.
- 55:51Camaraderie, like I grew up with my dad in the Navy, and I saw
- 55:56how much they pulled together, how much they loved each other,
- 55:59what it was to be an E7 or a chief in the Navy and how he
- 56:03supported his younger sailors. And I joined the Navy thinking,
- 56:07wow, OK, cool. That's what I want to do.
- 56:09I want to make chief and senior chief and Master Chief.
- 56:12And I want to be able to like build those bonds and like so
- 56:15OK, so story. So I made E4 coming out of a
- 56:18school, right? And I got to the ship and I was
- 56:20like, if I'm going to be an E4, I should start carrying E4
- 56:24responsibilities. I should start, you know,
- 56:26holding myself a little bit higher and knowing that I'm
- 56:28going to get promoted trying to do these things.
- 56:30You know what happened to me? I got told that I was trying to
- 56:34act above my pay grade. So instead of instead of saying,
- 56:38oh, hey, you're taking on more responsibilities.
- 56:41No, they, and it's, it's like this in the public, in the
- 56:45civilian world too, I've noticed is you have your worker that
- 56:49works hard and does more responsibilities than they
- 56:53should. And so one or two things
- 56:55happens. You either give them more
- 56:56responsibilities and you let them pick up the slack from the
- 57:00people that aren't doing shit or and then they get burnt out or
- 57:05you don't let them lead and they get tired and they're like, well
- 57:09fuck you if you're not going to let me do my job.
- 57:11Like I was watching Zootopia the other day and he said it best.
- 57:16He's like, if all you're ever going to see is a sly, you know,
- 57:20shifty, untrustworthy fox, what is the point in trying to be
- 57:24anything else? I.
- 57:27Think go ahead, I'm. I I don't mean to kick shock.
- 57:31No, you're fine. I think resiliency is key.
- 57:34I think, and this is coming from, you know, I'm a, I'm a
- 57:39man's man and I was a combat MOS in the Army, right?
- 57:43And then you're told, oh, that's just, there's no section against
- 57:47toxic messaging. They're just toxic people.
- 57:50However, what I think we're trying to figure something out
- 57:56is that something we can never figure out.
- 58:00You know, it, it gets back to we, we want to fix it, but it's
- 58:06section individual I think. So I'm not as well a handful of
- 58:09pills like I don't know. Can I say something?
- 58:30Think it's just a societal thing and I'm tired.
- 58:37I mean I'm huge on and what I thought I was picking up what
- 58:42Cowboy was saying and trust me, I am a woman's woman.
- 58:47Also, being a veteran and also being an Army brat my entire
- 58:50life, I, I also think though, that men's mental health is not
- 58:56a priority priority like it should be.
- 59:00And, you know, maybe I missed that when you guys were talking
- 59:02about it when I had to, I was talking to my oldest, you know,
- 59:05I had to leave. That's why.
- 59:09But I mean, I grew up an Army brat from, from being, I mean,
- 59:17the age of three, my dad was active duty and watching him go
- 59:22through a bunch of shit and being deployed and, and him
- 59:26being on duty my entire life, it was, it was hard and it was
- 59:32rough. And like that, and I hate to say
- 59:35this to you, my mom, my mom is not military at all, but she's
- 59:41been with my dad since they were 14 years old and they're about
- 59:44to be 49 this year. And that has taken so much of A
- 59:47toll on her life. And Joe, I am going to say it.
- 59:52I know you're I can see it in your face, but I'm going to say
- 59:55it. My mom tried to take her own
- 59:58life this last week. And that is not something that
- 1:00:02my mom has ever done in my entire life.
- 1:00:05She is the epitome of has kept it all together forever and.
- 1:00:16She had gotten to the point of having to go through so much
- 1:00:21shit. And now, mind you, as a teenager
- 1:00:24and my little sister as a teenager too, we put her through
- 1:00:27some shit and but I, I had to go there this last Sunday.
- 1:00:34Not not this Sunday, but the Sunday prior to my dad calling
- 1:00:39me crying saying your mom took a bunch of pills and I don't know
- 1:00:44what to do with her. And that's not something that my
- 1:00:49mom would ever do. She, she is literally the
- 1:00:52epitome of a yes man. The happiness covers it all up,
- 1:00:56has gone through so fucking much.
- 1:00:58And I had to sit there with her and, and hear some bullshit
- 1:01:04because she was, she had taken way too many pills and done way
- 1:01:10too many things and, and, and that's just not her.
- 1:01:13And I had to call 911 and the ambulance had to come and the,
- 1:01:16the police had to come. And it was nothing that I ever
- 1:01:20thought that my mother would do. And, you know, I watched my dad
- 1:01:25this big fucking who is will forever be my hero.
- 1:01:29My, he's my dad. And he's also a veteran, he's a
- 1:01:35combat veteran, he's OIFOEF and he's, I watched that man cry,
- 1:01:42'cause he did not know what to do.
- 1:01:45And I came there, I came from work.
- 1:01:47I left work early. I left my kids here with my
- 1:01:49grandmother. And I speed there.
- 1:01:52And not only do I have to watch my mother who did not get any
- 1:01:57help with anything, having to go through all of this.
- 1:02:01You know, we have FRG groups and, and you know, the military
- 1:02:06has fucking. Oh, we help with spouses too,
- 1:02:08but they really don't unless you live near an ACT duty post.
- 1:02:12But then hear me out for veterans too, even dudes who are
- 1:02:15I mean men or women when they are in the military and they
- 1:02:20come home and, and they are suffering and they are hurting
- 1:02:27or not giving them enough help. And, and my dad who has is the
- 1:02:32epitome of literal fucking. I'm going to keep it all in and
- 1:02:35not say anything. That man fucking cried in front
- 1:02:39of me. And I and I watching my dad cry
- 1:02:43made me fucking bawl my fucking eyes out watching my mom get
- 1:02:49pulled away in a stretcher and then her having to go to the
- 1:02:54hospital and get her fucking stomach pumped.
- 1:02:56And them not telling me anything them not telling my dad
- 1:03:00anything. It was just it was the most
- 1:03:04heart wrenching thing that I ever really had to go through.
- 1:03:07And we do not. But on on top of this.
- 1:03:12But now mind you, my dad is PTSD 2 and he gets help and, and is
- 1:03:17goes to the VA and gets he's medicated.
- 1:03:20But there's no real follow up with men's health mostly.
- 1:03:33And no, mind you, veterans, I mean they're mostly male, but I
- 1:03:37mean in general, just men's health in general and everyone
- 1:03:42else and the family and everything else.
- 1:03:45It's just the system fails everyone so incredibly much that
- 1:03:52it's makes me so fucking sad. And as a veteran myself and even
- 1:04:01as a woman, obviously we are e-mail, you know this.
- 1:04:04We are the bottom of the totem pole.
- 1:04:08As veterans, we are the bottom of the totem pole.
- 1:04:12Wheels is female. As well.
- 1:04:18Sorry, what did you say? Wheels is also a woman veteran.
- 1:04:21She's no I wheels. I know we're, yeah, she muted
- 1:04:25herself, so I wasn't sure if she was listening our way, but we,
- 1:04:32we are the bottom of the children pool.
- 1:04:34But at the same time, I think it's just as veterans alone, we
- 1:04:41all need more help than while we're receiving.
- 1:04:47And there's, there's a big catch 22 where it comes to like women
- 1:04:51versus men veterans, right? So like all of the female
- 1:04:55veterans joke that when you go into the VA you have to wear
- 1:04:59your veteran shit or also think that it's your husband, right?
- 1:05:02Who's your sponsor? Yeah, right.
- 1:05:04Like, who are you here with? Literally.
- 1:05:08It literally happened to me today when I went to my
- 1:05:11orthopedic appointment. They were like Murphy.
- 1:05:13And so I stood up. Where's your husband?
- 1:05:18I'm the veteran. Oh.
- 1:05:21OK, literally happened today. But at the same time, women are
- 1:05:29given more of a leeway for being emotional and they think that
- 1:05:35because we're emotional, it affects our mental health more.
- 1:05:38And because men don't feel safe showing their emotions that they
- 1:05:43don't need mental health, health well.
- 1:05:46It gets back to resiliency and. It's bullshit.
- 1:05:49I. Mean.
- 1:05:53I can say this, there is no resiliency left in the military.
- 1:05:58It's not like it was when we were in to begin with back in
- 1:06:02the 80s and 90s and early 2000s. Because kids signing up now,
- 1:06:10going in, the first thing they get when they get off their
- 1:06:13little bus at boot camp is a stress card, my cousin.
- 1:06:19And if a dream target yells at them, they they can get never.
- 1:06:23Grill started. That.
- 1:06:24Card. My cousin called me from basic
- 1:06:28training right when he was in and he went in in 2010 or 2011
- 1:06:36and he goes hey did you guys have stress cards?
- 1:06:41I'm like, what the fuck is a stress card?
- 1:06:43He's like the card the drill Sergeant gave me.
- 1:06:45So if they're being too hard on us, we can give it to them and
- 1:06:48they have to lay off of us for a while.
- 1:06:50I'm like what? The what?
- 1:06:52Yeah. Yeah, what the fuck is that?
- 1:06:56They're allowed cell phones now. They're allowed TV now.
- 1:07:00OK, that's some bullshit. So I went through BASIC and AIT.
- 1:07:05I went there the late entry program, but I went out for duty
- 1:07:08for Army, obviously. Yeah, so I went through 'cause I
- 1:07:14originally signed up as National Guard and changed at the last
- 1:07:18minute to act OK, right. I had one MOS that I lost 'cause
- 1:07:23I got some, got into some criminal trouble and lost that
- 1:07:27MOS and ended up with being a fucking fueller.
- 1:07:31OK. But when I went through basic,
- 1:07:37an IIT at Fort Jackson, there was no such fucking thing as a
- 1:07:42stress card. So same for me, so do you.
- 1:07:44Want to know where that comes from?
- 1:07:47Where that comes from? It's the blue card the Navy did
- 1:07:51back in the day. It was an experiment.
- 1:07:53When did they do that? In the 90s, they said.
- 1:07:57Hold on. Yeah, every.
- 1:08:00United States Navy Blues Card A short term experiment by the
- 1:08:03United States Navy to inform your crews about available
- 1:08:05mental health resources. Now they can have their phones,
- 1:08:10but only in the last couple weeks.
- 1:08:14See I went in an O 6 and I wasn't allowed to have my phone.
- 1:08:18So I OK. Well, they for not anymore.
- 1:08:23Not not anymore. I I've got I've got a cousin
- 1:08:29that his son just started his basic training two weeks ago.
- 1:08:35He still has his phone in the barracks as long as they're not
- 1:08:40on the firing line or doing training if they want.
- 1:08:43To. Take and be.
- 1:08:46On. Their that's awesome.
- 1:08:48I'm clearly the youngest veteran in here, right?
- 1:08:51So. Obviously.
- 1:08:53I went June in 2011, and when I got to Fort Jackson, well,
- 1:08:59actually I had a cell phone that was.
- 1:09:02Maybe a little younger than me, I'm not sure.
- 1:09:05But what I'm oh, meals, Are you there?
- 1:09:12I don't know. She has her cell phone meal.
- 1:09:15Yeah. But when I went, I mean, I
- 1:09:18remember getting to reception and being dropped off at our
- 1:09:22unit and being screamed at to get off this, this fucking bus.
- 1:09:26Obviously, I didn't even bring my cell phone, which a cell
- 1:09:29phone at that time was like, you know, we didn't really have the
- 1:09:32smartphone thing yet, so I didn't even bring mine.
- 1:09:37And I had just gotten it a year prior to that.
- 1:09:39But my parents made a year because I got a driver's license
- 1:09:42that was under their insurance and drove one of their cars.
- 1:09:45You know me. Yeah.
- 1:09:46But I remember screaming at my dad.
- 1:09:49With. Pulling all my shit out, you
- 1:09:52know, in front when I got to my duty station or when I got to to
- 1:09:58basic and then screaming that fucking address at me to call my
- 1:10:05dad and say hey, this is my address, K bye, you know?
- 1:10:11We didn't. We didn't get a phone call at
- 1:10:13first. We said you have 30 seconds to
- 1:10:15write whatever you want on a paper.
- 1:10:17You're here. You're safe.
- 1:10:19OK, We're mailing your belongings back.
- 1:10:21Meals. Go ahead.
- 1:10:23So they do not get their phones. They don't get their phones
- 1:10:27until like right before you graduate.
- 1:10:30It's every single branch. They no phones it.
- 1:10:34It's it did not trade. There's an AIT thing to knows.
- 1:10:38So, OK, so hear me out. I'm talking about basic.
- 1:10:41And again, I went in 2011 and the only time we got our cell
- 1:10:46phones or to even go to the payphone to call anyone was when
- 1:10:53my within my unit, my platoon alone, we won like a flag for
- 1:11:00qualifications, right? So we won the opportunity to
- 1:11:06call whoever the fuck we wanted. I.
- 1:11:09Remember. That for three minutes, that.
- 1:11:11Was it? Yeah.
- 1:11:12If you got the banners, if you got those banners, boy, you was
- 1:11:15able to make a. Quick yeah, my fucking platoon
- 1:11:17did great and boy, I will never forget winning it for
- 1:11:22qualifications and getting an extra fucking minute.
- 1:11:26Oh boy, extra minute and but still I called my dad and I said
- 1:11:32hey, I'm doing great, I'm doing fine.
- 1:11:35I know you. Can't even see letters.
- 1:11:37I love you. Goodbye, you know, Hung up, you
- 1:11:40know. Well, when I enlisted, they
- 1:11:42asked me if they wanted to join the Union or the Confederacy.
- 1:11:46So I'm. Sorry, what veteran?
- 1:11:50What? What you?
- 1:11:50You're not adorable. I'm so old.
- 1:11:53When I enlisted, they said for the Union or the Confederacy.
- 1:11:56Oh shut the fuck. Up you're.
- 1:11:59Larry, listen, Larry joined it with under Washington, OK, I
- 1:12:03don't. Know.
- 1:12:04Why, when Larry, when Larry joined the Dead Sea, was only
- 1:12:07sick? Shit, that part.
- 1:12:16Love you. Love you, Larry.
- 1:12:19Yeah, by the way, we do. I love you, Larry.
- 1:12:22You. You.
- 1:12:23You, dude made another number. By the way.
- 1:12:26What text now? Yeah.
- 1:12:27I'm still getting threatened every fucking day of my life.

- 1:20:11dogs. And yeah, they are extremely
- 1:20:13aggressive towards anyone. Yeah, that comes near.
