- 0:01In his book The Mother, Shrioro Bindo defines the conditions and
- 0:06qualities of faith needed to overcome all obstructions or
- 0:11disasters. Quote to walk through life
- 0:16armoured against all fear, peril and disaster.
- 0:20Only two things are needed. Two that go always together.
- 0:25The grace of the Divine Mother and on your side, an inner state
- 0:31made-up of faith, sincerity and surrender.
- 0:36Let your faith be pure, candid and perfect.
- 0:40An egoistic faith in the mental and vital being tainted by
- 0:45ambition, pride, vanity, mental arrogance, vital self will,
- 0:52personal demand, desire for the petty satisfactions of the lower
- 0:56nature is a low and smoke obscured flame that cannot burn
- 1:02upwards to heaven. Regard your life as given you
- 1:06only for the Divine work and to help in the Divine
- 1:10manifestation. Desire nothing but the purity,
- 1:15force, light, wideness, calm, Ananda of the Divine
- 1:21consciousness and its insistence to transform and perfect your
- 1:27mind, life and body. Ask for nothing but the divine,
- 1:31spiritual and supermental truth, its realization on earth and in
- 1:37you and in all who are called and chosen, and the conditions
- 1:41needed for its creation and its victory over all opposing
- 1:46forces. End Quote.
- 1:50The mental consciousness is rooted in division, separation,
- 1:53and fragmentation. It maintains doubts, questions,
- 1:57and contradictions as part of its normal process.
- 2:02Complete faith is based in the psychic being, not the mind.
- 2:07As long as we base our lives in the mental consciousness, we are
- 2:10sure to experience considerable confusion.
- 2:14When we are able to shift our central focus to the psychic
- 2:17being, the faith becomes pure and strong, and we can follow
- 2:22the sunlit path rather than be constantly subject to the dark
- 2:27night of the soul. A disciple inquires, What are
- 2:33the conditions in which there is a descent of faith?
- 2:38The mother writes. Quote.
- 2:41The most important condition is an almost childlike trust, the
- 2:47candid trust of a child who is sure that it will come, who
- 2:51doesn't even ask himself about it.
- 2:54When he needs something, he is sure that it is going to come.
- 2:58Well, it is this, this kind of trust.
- 3:01This indeed is the most important condition.
- 3:05To aspire is indispensable. But some people aspire with such
- 3:10a conflict inside them between faith and absence of faith,
- 3:15trust and distrust, between the optimism which is sure of
- 3:19victory and a pessimism which asks itself when the catastrophe
- 3:24will come. Now if this is in the being, you
- 3:28may aspire, but you don't get anything.
- 3:31And you say I aspired but didn't get anything.
- 3:35It is because you demolish your aspiration all the time by your
- 3:39lack of confidence. But if you truly have trust,
- 3:45children, when left to themselves and not deformed by
- 3:49older people, have such a great trust that all will be well.
- 3:53For example, when they have a small accident, they never think
- 3:57that this is going to be something serious.
- 4:00They are spontaneously convinced that it will soon be over and
- 4:04they'll this helps so powerfully in putting an end to it.
- 4:09Well, when 1 aspires for the force, when one asks the divine
- 4:14for help, if when asked with the unshakable certitude that it
- 4:18will come, that it is impossible, that it won't, then
- 4:23it is sure to come. It is this kind.
- 4:26Yes, this is truly an inner opening, distrustfulness.
- 4:31And some people are constantly in this state.
- 4:34When there is something to be received, they are always there
- 4:37to receive it. There are others.
- 4:40When there's something to have, a force descends.
- 4:44They are always absent, they are always closed at that moment.
- 4:49All those who have this childlike trust are always there
- 4:53at the right time. And it is strange, isn't it?
- 4:57Outwardly there's no difference. They may have exactly the same
- 5:01goodwill, the same aspiration, the same wish to do good, but
- 5:06those who have this smiling confidence within them do not
- 5:10question, do not ask themselves whether they will have it or not
- 5:14have it. Whether the Divine will answer
- 5:17or not. The question does not arise.
- 5:20It is something understood. What I need will be given to me.
- 5:24If I pray, I shall have an answer.
- 5:27If I am in difficulty and ask for help, the help will come,
- 5:32and not only will it come, but it will manage everything.
- 5:36If the trust is there, spontaneous, candid,
- 5:41unquestioning, it works better than anything else, and the
- 5:46results are marvelous. It is with the contradictions
- 5:49and doubts of the mind that one spoils everything.
- 5:53With this kind of notion, which comes when 1 is in difficulties.
- 5:57Oh, it's impossible, I shall never manage it.
- 6:01And if it is going to be aggravated, if this condition I
- 6:04am in, which I don't want, is going to grow still worse if I
- 6:08continue to slide down farther and farther, If, if, if, if like
- 6:15that. And one builds a wall between
- 6:18oneself and the Force One wants to receive.
- 6:22The psychic being has this trust, has it wonderfully
- 6:26without a shadow, without an argument, without a
- 6:30contradiction. And when it is like that, there
- 6:34is not a prayer which does not get an answer, no aspiration
- 6:39which is not realized. End Quote.
