- 1:06And thank you to Peter Schwartz. He gave us his take, gave us all
- 1:09the information we needed about the Dragons.
- 1:12And if you haven't checked it out, we'll post it up and you
- 1:14can hear the interview. And I'm sure if you're a dragon
- 1:16fan and you want to attack him, try to whatever you want to do
- 1:20to the former owner of the Dragons or whatever the hell he
- 1:22was. Well, maybe Peter Schwartz will
- 1:25give you his address and you can start egging his house.
- 1:28And did you call owner? I don't know what he was, but he
- 1:34was the, the, I guess he was the fake owner or whatever he was
- 1:38anyways, I'm the owner. He was, yes, there he is,
- 1:41whatever that was. Anyways, we call this next
- 1:44segment Jabba Rules. That's called sex.
- 1:58All right, Jabba, why don't you tell us what rules this week?
- 2:04Yes, I'd like to know what rule. Is I love this and and what
- 2:09rules in in in life is is family and and sports as we all know
- 2:14it. And when they go together, it
- 2:18makes it a beautiful, beautiful place.
- 2:21And I don't know if you guys got this, it went viral, but it it
- 2:25just so happened to be in Nebraska kid from Australia and
- 2:30he is a punter for Nebraska now. And he hadn't seen his parents
- 2:35since since he got here in over I think it was two months.
- 2:39And they asked him a question and he was, you know, and 19
- 2:44year old kid missing, you know, his brothers, his mom and dad.
- 2:47And, you know, just had a moment where he is vulnerable and, and
- 2:51he was like, I really miss him. I love him.
- 2:53And what's amazing about it is his parents have never seen him
- 2:58play actually American football. He was, he was a footy And you
- 3:02know, that's, that's what he did.
- 3:03And he comes over here and, and does what he does.
- 3:07And it's just amazing to me how sports and family can come
- 3:12together. And his family got to see him.
- 3:15We ended up winning 68 to nothing.
- 3:17So he didn't actually get a punt, but his first ever punt
- 3:20for American football was an Arrowhead, which is really,
- 3:23really cool. And for me, what rules is family
- 3:27and sports. And they all came together to
- 3:29for him to as parents was like 17 hour, 18 hour flight.
- 3:34And there's nothing better than family and sports.
- 3:37And that definitely rules today. Footy.
- 3:39I like that one. He was a footy.
- 3:42There he is, 68 to nothing, 68 to nothing.
- 3:46And it went viral. He was on like morning shows.
- 3:48He's actually he got a, he's gotten A6 figure nil deal
- 3:52because of it. Wow, Jabba, we actually, Errol
- 3:54and I interviewed Darren Bennett, who was a hunter for
- 3:57the Chargers and also was born in Australia.
- 3:59He played Australian rules football.
- 4:00He actually has a facility, I believe, in Oklahoma and he's
- 4:02helped a lot of Australian punters get college tuition.
- 4:05I think 1 was Oklahoma. I think you mentioned Baylor and
- 4:08somewhere in California, I think.
- 4:10Wasn't it Stanford? Yeah, it was Stanford.
- 4:13I remember what he was saying. And and by the way, he was one
- 4:16of the greatest kickers of all time.
- 4:18So Ben, it's it's pretty crazy when when you think about and,
- 4:22and who's the kicker for the Cowboys?
- 4:24Aubrey. Aubrey is one of his guys.
- 4:27He's the one that got trained, trained Aubrey from soccer from
- 4:31or whatever, European football all the way to being a kicker in
- 4:35the NFL. He's the best kicker in the NFL
- 4:37and one of the main reasons is because of him.
- 4:39So true story on that. He's one of the guys that help
- 4:42Aubrey really develop his kicking ability.
- 4:44So there you go. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 4:46we call this Dial it Up. We interrupt this regular
- 4:50scheduled hot mix to bring an important news book.
- 4:52We got a big. Broadcast to do here.
- 4:55We're about to dial it up. I had to take a shit, he tastes
- 4:59himself. Welcome to Dial It Up,
- 5:03everyone's favorite lightning round segment.
- 5:06Errol doesn't know what the stories are.
- 5:07He's going to find it out and dial up a take, and then one of
- 5:11us will give him some banter. Here's the first one, Errol.
- 5:14Oregon 69, Oklahoma State three. Why are we talking about this
- 5:18blowout? Well, there was some news about
- 5:21it last week. If you remember correctly, Dan
- 5:24Lanning and Mike Gundy, the head coach of Oklahoma State, had a
- 5:27little tiff in the media. Dan Lanning was being called out
- 5:32for spending over $40 million on his football program with the
- 5:36luxury boosters of guys like Phil Knight and Nike over there
- 5:40in Oregon, where they're based out of.
- 5:42But Gundy said he only spent around 7 million in three years.
- 5:45Well, it apparently Lanning took it personally and they quacked
- 5:51all over the Cowboys nine to three.
- 5:54It never requires extra motivation for an opportunity to
- 5:58go out and kick ass. Lanning said it in post game
- 6:02regarding the message he sent his team.
- 6:03But it never hurts when somebody pours gasoline on the fire.
- 6:09As you said, Gundy was critical of them spending about 20 times
- 6:12more than he gets to spend on his budget.
- 6:14It was Oklahoma State's worst loss in over a century is
- 6:20landing laughing all the way to the bank Errol when you.
- 6:23Dial it on. Absolutely.
- 6:25First of all, I am a big fan of Dan Lanning.
- 6:27He is going to be an NFL coach eventually in the future.
- 6:30I think he has the capable ability to do that and what
- 6:33organs doing right now. I think they're one of the best
- 6:37teams in the country. They're offensively sound.
- 6:39They can run the ball, they always run the ball, They always
- 6:41have good offensive lines. And I don't care how and the way
- 6:45he spends his money, if he's got money behind him willing and and
- 6:49able to put the money out there for NILDL, so be it.
- 6:52I don't want to hear the complaining.
- 6:53If you want to go out there and take your money and put it into
- 6:56players, you do it. Gundy shouldn't be freaking
- 6:58going out there and crying about it.
- 7:01Danny Lanning is one of the best coaches right now in college
- 7:04football. You can't argue that.
- 7:05He's a he's a disciple over there with the Alabama Crimson
- 7:08Tide. We all know what Saban has done.
- 7:11Look at the coaches that have come out of Alabama.
- 7:14If you look at Oregon, you look at Georgia everywhere.
- 7:17Everybody goes to Alabama over of the years to work for the one
- 7:21and only Saban. And by the way, look at the NFL
- 7:24right now. Who's coaching the New York
- 7:26Giants right now? Dabel.
- 7:28Who was he under? Who was he under Nick Saban?
- 7:32You if you go up and down the rosters, there's a guy right now
- 7:36coaching Texas. Who did he work under?
- 7:39Nick Saban? Nick Saban, I'm.
- 7:41Just saying, if you look at all the top coaches in the country,
- 7:44they all worked under Nick Saban.
- 7:47He's the Bill Parcells of college football, Nuff said.
- 7:50Stop complaining, stop bitching. Go spend the money.
- 7:54Yeah, no, it's it should be the exact opposite.
- 7:57He has the opportunity to have Phil Knight in his pocket to
- 8:00have. It's not like he chose the
- 8:03amount. This is this is what he got.
- 8:04So it would it would for me. It's the exact opposite.
- 8:07Like he should be giving him crap.
- 8:09Be like, you're in Oregon, you have Phil Knight money.
- 8:11Why aren't you spending more instead of like, yeah, I got 4,
- 8:14I'm going to spend it like, why would I not?
- 8:16It makes zero sense. And sorry that your program only
- 8:20allows you to spend 7. Is that your choice?
- 8:22Do you have more? Because I know you have more.
- 8:24You just made the choice not to. So go suck on an egg and and
- 8:28sack up and be a man. You're 63 now or whatever you.
- 8:31Say suck on an egg. That's a good take right there.
- 8:35But like stop complaining, you all have the the same choice.
- 8:38Yes some don't have the biggest budgets but grow up.
- 8:42Jeez, let's go. Suck on an egg.
- 8:46Here's the next one. Oh, it's our favorite WNBA
- 8:50player Angel Reese, who was suspended for conduct
- 8:54detrimental to her team. In an interview with the Chicago
- 8:59Tribune, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese expressed her
- 9:03frustration with the team's losing record.
- 9:05Reese commented that they needed to attract better, younger and
- 9:09more competitive players, dissing her teammates, including
- 9:14singling out long time WNBA star Courtney Vandersloot, who is
- 9:18returning from a torn ACL. Reese was suspended for the
- 9:21first half of Sunday's game versus the Las Vegas Aces.
- 9:25Reese has since apologized to her team mates, but they
- 9:29basically shunned her on the bench during Sunday's contest.
- 9:33Errol. It's pretty simple.
- 9:37She has attacked Caitlin Clark. She doesn't like Caitlin Clark.
- 9:40She was one of the leaders that has thrown Caitlin Clark to the
- 9:43wolves. Now all of a sudden she's
- 9:45attacking her team. This is a woman that just got a
- 9:48shoe deal from Reebok. Yes, Allen Iverson, Shaquille
- 9:52O'Neal. Why did she get this shoe deal?
- 9:54Because Caitlin Clark was the one that was the the big deal,
- 9:58the one that was getting the big money from Nike.
- 10:00Now all of a sudden she's attacking the teammates and her
- 10:03own teammates and not helping the fact that her teammates are
- 10:06everything to what she is going to be in the future.
- 10:09I if I was the team and I was owning the team right now.
- 10:13I tell her to shut her mouth, zipper her mouth, and and not
- 10:17only apologize by your teammates.
- 10:20A nice day, take your Tina's out to a nice steak dinner or pizza
- 10:24dinner or whatever. Whatever costs money for that
- 10:26dumb. You know what?
- 10:28I think she has been nothing but disrespectful to certain players
- 10:32in the league. She hasn't done anything in the
- 10:34WNBA yet. Everybody wants to compare
- 10:36herself to Caitlin Clark and some of the greats when she's
- 10:39not been great in the NBA. She's a double, double machine
- 10:42that hasn't won anything yet. Caitlin Clark has taken a bad
- 10:46team to the playoffs and she did it and she's going to do it
- 10:49well. She would have done it
- 10:49back-to-back years before she's been out.
- 10:51But I, I just think she's a hater.
- 10:54I, I don't, I, I really don't like her and I, I don't like her
- 10:57personality. So that's all I got to say about
- 10:59that. And that's the huge thing about
- 11:00it too, is that because I feel like if her game, it's her, it's
- 11:03her mouth that gets her all in trouble and it gets kind of
- 11:06overshadowing of her game and whatnot.
- 11:08You look at her, like you said, she actually does put up decent
- 11:10numbers when it's a double, double and she actually does
- 11:12have actually decent numbers. However, I feel like she's such
- 11:15in the swirl with this Caitlin Clark that I'm we're watching
- 11:19that WNBA because of me too. And now I feel like sometimes
- 11:22she doesn't get her. She forgets her own place and
- 11:24that she's still relatively new into the league and generosity
- 11:28speaking that now look at what happens with her teammates, that
- 11:30she's now in a very bad funk, I would say with her teammates.
- 11:33And it's kind of ugly for the fact that she can't.
- 11:35Keep does she get traded? Does the team trade her?
- 11:37Now, I I mean, if you know as a teammate that you don't trust
- 11:42your teammate, are you going to play for her?
- 11:44Are you going to want to stand up for her if she gets pushed
- 11:46around? We see Caitlin Clark when she
- 11:48gets shoved on the ground, all her teammates, it's come to her
- 11:51defense. Does anybody want to come to
- 11:53Angel Reese's defense? I wouldn't as a player, after
- 11:57what she's done, throwing her teammates under the bus.
- 11:59I just think it's just complete nonsense.
- 12:01Keep your mouth shut until you do something, until you win a
- 12:03championship or WNBA championship or even take your
- 12:06team to a championship. Maybe then you can go out there
- 12:10and throw your teammates and Caitlin Clark and some of the
- 12:13greatest players in the NB WNBA in history under the bus.
- 12:17I think it's just ridiculous. This is a ridiculous story.
- 12:22I thought so as well. I thought you'd enjoy it.
- 12:24Here we go. Let's get another story a little
- 12:26less ridiculous. Take a look at this one.
- 12:29University of South Florida upsets #13 Florida 18.
- 12:34Couldn't believe this. That is Niko Grammatica, yes,
- 12:40from the Grammatica family of kickers.
- 12:43Nico Gramatica with a 20 yard game-winning field goal as the
- 12:47University of South Florida which is in Tampa.
- 12:50South Florida Bulls, big fan of them.
- 12:53I was over there by those guys for a long time.
- 12:56Won this game somehow. South Florida has beaten now 2
- 13:00ranked teams in Boise and Florida to go 2 and O.
- 13:02They face Miami who's ranked #5 this week.
- 13:06That would be pretty impressive. The start 3 and O against 3
- 13:09ranked teams. This was the first loss by
- 13:12Florida to any other Florida school besides Florida State
- 13:17since 1938. It's not good enough, Florida
- 13:22coach Billy Napier said. We've got work to do.
- 13:26You guys know it, I know it. Anybody that watched his watched
- 13:30it knows it. We got to take ownership of it
- 13:33and we got to go back to work. That's it, Errol.
- 13:37Is anyone seat hotter than Billy Napier's in college football
- 13:43right now? Toil it up.
- 13:45Billy Napier is going to be looking for a new job.
- 13:47Last year, if he didn't get hot at the end of the season and the
- 13:50way Florida played with DJ Langway and and by the way, DJ
- 13:54Langway did not have one of those great games.
- 13:56He had 23 completions, 69.7% percentage and 222 yards and one
- 14:03touchdown. He didn't do enough.
- 14:05They ran the ball very, very well, but All in all, they just
- 14:08didn't play very well against a team that they should be
- 14:11dominant against. South Florida and the Bulls are
- 14:13not a good team. They're not a good program.
- 14:16You should have won by 50 against them.
- 14:18And you embarrass yourself and you lose against a team that
- 14:21wasn't even ranked. You're one of the top teams in
- 14:24the country. You have one of the best young
- 14:25quarterbacks in all of college football and you lay up lousy
- 14:29goose egg. And Napier right now should make
- 14:32the tournament. If they don't make that
- 14:33tournament, he loses his job. I, I don't know what you're
- 14:37doing. And Napier, Billy Napier has
- 14:39just been a guy that a lot of people think could be a coach in
- 14:42the NFL. Why would anybody take Billy
- 14:44Napier when he can't watch a damn college football game
- 14:47against an underclass team like that?
- 14:49I, I just, it's embarrassing. Florida, the Gators, they should
- 14:53be an undefeated team right now. They should be two.
- 14:55And oh, going against Miami and Miami is going to kick there.
- 14:58You know what, the way Miami is playing right now.
- 15:00So I don't know what to expect with for the Florida Gators in
- 15:04in game #3 for them in the football season.
- 15:07Yeah, it's an ideal let down spot, like when you're looking
- 15:09at like playing down to an opponent.
- 15:10We talked about in college football, in college basketball,
- 15:12we've seen it a lot too. This is definitely one of those
- 15:14cases for a quarterback as good as Lagway too.
- 15:17Like it was very stale, very conservative play calling
- 15:20throughout that game. Java, you were talking about it
- 15:22earlier. There was an incident of a
- 15:23player spitting, which Florida you would think would learn from
- 15:25that. Napier wasn't there at this
- 15:27time, but 2020 Marco Wilson throws a shoe which gives them a
- 15:31penalty and a year that they might have went to the SEC
- 15:34championship game. We're a fringe playoff team.
- 15:36He throws a shoe. LSU ends up beating them after
- 15:38they lose everybody the year before from their championship
- 15:41team. You would think there would be
- 15:42some discipline learned by that. I liked the higher of Napier at
- 15:45the time and obviously you give them a benefit of the doubt in
- 15:47the second-half of last year when they started to.
- 15:48Play we played, they played well in the second-half.
- 15:51I think they went what, 7 and O in the final seven games.
- 15:54It was enough where they were both eligible, so it looks like
- 15:56there was a sense of rise. They dominate the first week.
- 15:59And yes, USFUSF is a team that's in the AAC.
- 16:03They play very well against Boise, like you were saying.
- 16:05But yeah, it's not like it's, it's not like it's another Big
- 16:0812 team. It's not like another out of
- 16:09conference schedule, like you're saying, a local ACC team.
- 16:12You're you're losing and scoring 16 points with a quarterback as
- 16:15good as Lagway, there's something wrong with.
- 16:17That Lagway just didn't show up to the game and and again, that
- 16:20has something to do with coaching.
- 16:22Billy Napier is the head coach. If your star quarterback doesn't
- 16:25show up to a game and play as well as he should, he should
- 16:28have thrown over 3, 300 yards. He should have ran in two
- 16:31touchdowns. This guy to me is as pure as a
- 16:33quarterback we've seen come out of Florida.
- 16:36I I mean, look at the quarterbacks that have come out
- 16:38of Florida over the years. They really we're not NFL
- 16:40talent. This guy could be the best one
- 16:43out of all of them. And he just didn't show up
- 16:45again. And we've seen this before when
- 16:47he's come in and, and he hasn't played.
- 16:48Last year when he took over the starting job, he was up and
- 16:51down. I have to see more of Lagway to
- 16:54really argue if he's going to be a first round talent or just a
- 16:57second or third round talent. So I have to see what he's going
- 17:00to be. But Billy Napier has not really
- 17:02developed him and hasn't done a good job developing.
- 17:05Well, yeah, the last one that he's turned out to try to
- 17:07develop allegedly with Anthony Richardson.
- 17:09That's see how that's. Please.
- 17:11That's another one. All right, let's get to the next
- 17:15one and this one's more on a sad note.
- 17:17Couple of guys actually got this from friend of the show and
- 17:20member of the network Josh Silverberg.
- 17:22He made-up Twitter post about Davy, first Ken Dryden, now Davy
- 17:27Johnson. Yes, both Davy Johnson and Ken
- 17:29Dryden passed away over the weekend.
- 17:31Came out on Saturday, 2 legends in their respective sports
- 17:34passed away. Davy Johnson, if you didn't
- 17:37know, was a player in the 60s for the Orioles, won two World
- 17:40Series with the Orioles and I believe it was 66 since 70 and
- 17:45then obviously was the match and then was the manager of the 86
- 17:49Mets as the third World Series 1 as a manager he managed for 17
- 17:54years he had an above 500 record with every team he managed in
- 17:58his five stops, the Mets, Reds, Orioles, Dodgers and Nationals.
- 18:03Ken Dryden, on the other hand, Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender,
- 18:06dominated the league in his short career with the Canadians
- 18:09throughout the 70s, winning 6 Stanley Cups.
- 18:12He was. Ken Dryden is one of the top
- 18:18five goaltenders of all time. You ask anybody, ask Gotti
- 18:21Bowman, ask any of the elite old coaches in NFL history, they
- 18:26tell you Ken Dryden. He stood for everything,
- 18:28shutouts wise, defensively. Teams wouldn't even play defense
- 18:32in front of him. He was the biggest wall.
- 18:34He really redefined the goaltending position.
- 18:37When Grant Fiore came into the league, you asked Grant Fiore
- 18:40who was the guy that he looked up to as a goaltender.
- 18:42He would tell you, Ken Dryden, when we go back and we look at
- 18:45some of the greatest goal tenders of all time, Ken Dryden
- 18:47will be in the top five, top 10 on everybody's list.
- 18:51Barry Melrose said it. And how great Kenny, Kenny
- 18:54Dryden was when he was, he was a goalie and a star goaltender in
- 18:57the NHL, especially in the 70s. That was a big loss.
- 19:00And Davey Johnson, I mean, seriously, if you're a Mets fan,
- 19:03you know all about what Davey Johnson brought to the game as a
- 19:06player. About A261136 home runs over
- 19:101000 hits. As a coach.
- 19:13As a manager, he was everything to the New York Mets in the
- 19:16organization. He will definitely be missed.
- 19:18One of the more underrated coaches and managers in Mets
- 19:22history when you think about it, and a guy that really stood for
- 19:26everything. So both guys, my heart, my heart
- 19:29goes out to the Johnson family and my heart goes out to the
- 19:31Dryden family. Terrible story, but it all works
- 19:34in threes. They say that all the time.
- 19:35They die in threes. That's too.
- 19:37I'm sure there's there's going to be somebody else in the next
- 19:4024 to 48 hours that's going to go down as far as a players that
- 19:44really stood for something in in professional sports so.
- 19:49Yeah, I mean, it's Davy Johnson. Like it.
- 19:51People don't understand how good Davy Johnson was, obviously as a
- 19:54manager with over 1300 wins, but the dude was a Gold Glove
- 19:58infielder for three years in a row.
- 20:00And mind you, this is the same infield as a Mr. Brooks
- 20:03Robinson, who won 16 gold. Gloves.
- 20:05And up the middle with Bellinger, Mark Bellinger, he
- 20:09won and I think he won two Gold Gloves and they had the best,
- 20:12best middle infield in the in the late 60s.
- 20:14And obviously the beginning of 70 and just I had a couple
- 20:17encounters with him was just an absolute awesome dude.
- 20:20I caught him towards the end of his career in the nationals And
- 20:22it was, I think it was one of those ones.
- 20:25We were heading up north and we stopped in DC to play exit one
- 20:29of those exhibition games on the way.
- 20:31And you know, it's obvious fan of baseball.
- 20:33It's you know, when you get to see those guys that have that
- 20:36have left their legacy, not only on the baseball field, but you
- 20:39know, as a as a manager and as players was pretty cool.
- 20:42And obviously I had, I didn't know Ken Dryden, but yeah,
- 20:45thoughts and prayers go out to his family as well.
- 20:47Oh, the one of the greatest, one of the greatest goaltenders to
- 20:50ever play, one of the more underrated goaltenders.
- 20:52People forget because when you think about goaltending, you you
- 20:56think of Martin Brodeur, you think of Patrick Y, you think of
- 20:59Grand Fiore, you know, Dominique Hashek, all these guys.
- 21:03But people forget that there was hockey in the 50s and the 60s
- 21:07and the 70s and Ken Dryden was the best goalie in the 70s.
- 21:11At late 60s and early 70s, I don't think there was anybody
- 21:15better than Ken Dryden and the Montreal Canadiens when they
- 21:18were as good as a hockey team in the early years.
- 21:22Ken Dryden was one of the reasons why they were so.
- 21:24Yeah, they're they were a factory of goaltenders for a
- 21:26long time. The reason they're they won 24
- 21:28Cups. That's probably a record that's
- 21:30not going to be caught for a long time.
- 21:32They he succeeded a really good goalie too.
- 21:34And Jacques Plot right before him and obviously Patrick Walk
- 21:37came after him and Ken Dryden, his eight-year peak in that 70s,
- 21:40he won five Vesanas and six Cups.
- 21:42Like that's pretty hard to do. And then obviously after his
- 21:44hockey career, he's a great broadcaster for a while.
- 21:46Got to call the Miracle on. Ice sensational A.
- 21:48Hockey mind that'll definitely a hockey mind will definitely miss
- 21:50one of the greatest goalies ever and then Davey Johnson as a Mets
- 21:53fan, I obviously didn't see him play but or manage, but
- 21:56obviously it was a big impact to Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling.
- 21:59They talk about him all the time in the booth.
- 22:00Java you were talking about him managing a lot of the the
- 22:02Dodgers in the 80s as well in the 90s.
- 22:05What he brought to that game and as a player to the Orioles were
- 22:08a newer team at that time. He was part of that rise really
- 22:11that to those 1970s Orioles teams, including ones that the
- 22:14Mets beat in 69. But changing that culture with
- 22:17the Mets in the 80s and obviously winning World Series,
- 22:19definitely big impact on a lot of those players of the New
- 22:21York. Mets.
- 22:21And by the way, I met Ken Dryden and Ken Dryden years and years
- 22:25ago. I got a chance to meet him at a
- 22:26card show. One of the nicest people you'll
- 22:29ever meet when it comes to hockey and hockey knowledge.
- 22:32One of one of the one of the people that I would sit down and
- 22:35have a conversation about goaltending and goal scoring.
- 22:38And he told me, I asked him who's the greatest hockey player
- 22:41of all time. And he was one to agree with me
- 22:43as an offensive player. If he were to say that if Mario
- 22:46Lemieux didn't miss those five years, he would have had the
- 22:49goal scoring record and he would have been considered the
- 22:52greatest goal scorer in NHL history.
- 22:55And he thinks that if he were to choose between him and Wayne
- 22:57Gretzky, even though Wayne Gretzky was his man, he said
- 23:01that Mario Lemieux was the best hockey player he's ever seen.
- 23:04So and and that's Ken Dryden coming out and saying that.
- 23:07So true story on that one. All right, we got one story left
- 23:11and dial it up. And man, is this a good one.
- 23:16Maybe you saw it. It went super viral.
- 23:18It's the Phillies Karen. You can picture it going to a
- 23:22baseball game with your son. It's his birthday, and you sit
- 23:25in the bleachers. Maybe they hit a home run to
- 23:27you. Maybe an outfielder throws you a
- 23:29ball at the end of an inning. Then it happens.
- 23:31Fly ball to your area, it lands to your right and bounces right
- 23:35over to you. Got it.
- 23:36Your race to give it to your son and hug him when Phillies Karen
- 23:41strikes. Oh yes, Philly's Karen.
- 23:44The infamous viral venomous Phillies fan screamed at the
- 23:48poor father until he gave up the home run ball like it was hers
- 23:52because she bent her creaky old back down trying to get it.
- 23:56Luckily, the Phillies took care of the family and the ousted
- 24:00Philly's Karen from the warm embrace of the City of Brotherly
- 24:05Love. Lots of conspiracy stories on
- 24:08who she is, including being a school like administrator which
- 24:14was not proven to be true. She's a lunch lady.
- 24:16Shut up. There's a whole bunch of things
- 24:18nobody wants to admit that they are Phillies Karen the
- 24:24despicable abomination. Sorry I forgot finished my
- 24:26writing That is Phillies Karen Errol.
- 24:31I haven't heard this story. OK.
- 24:33Oh my God, how'd you miss? It I I because I'm I'm busy all
- 24:36right, but to to read this story and see what you're you're
- 24:39writing about now in a Phillies Karen in a baseball.
- 24:44What, what happened? A ball was I don't even get.
- 24:46It so it's just a very simple home run ball to left field.
- 24:50And who's the Phillies? Karen.
- 24:51Who is she? Up for grabs.
- 24:53She's one of the people that were trying to get it.
- 24:55This this man gets it. He walks over to the other side
- 24:58of the bleachers, gives it to his son and she like comes up to
- 25:01him and he like reacts like like this because she tries to grab
- 25:06him and she's like, that's my ball, That's my ball, that's my
- 25:10ball. I'm from Philly.
- 25:12I'm Karen. Give me the ball.
- 25:15Jabba, what do you have over there?
- 25:16What are you trying to kill Something out of there?
- 25:19Electric fly swat. I have one, by the way.
- 25:22I have one at my doors. They're awesome, Yeah, I burn
- 25:24them and. They go pop too, and you swing
- 25:27it like, oh. Yeah, Jabba, you're going to get
- 25:28yourself into trouble. You're talking about beating
- 25:31dogs up and now you're talking about killing flies and bombs,
- 25:34man. This is after he throws he pegs
- 25:37the odor of the bait of the Dragons.
- 25:41Yeah, I didn't say. So, Errol, it was a Harrison
- 25:44Bader home run. The Phillies found out.
- 25:46They gave the kid a bat they bought, they got him to meet
- 25:50Bader. They took care of them and it
- 25:52became a good story. And listen, the egg is all on
- 25:55the face. I, I, it was a horrible story.
- 26:00But hey, you know what, if you want to laugh at a story and it
- 26:03has something to do with the Phillies, I'm not surprised.
- 26:06Philadelphia fans, the Phillies, Karen.
- 26:08I mean, we've, we've heard that Philadelphia is beating up Santa
- 26:12Claus. They've, they've thrown things
- 26:14at players, they've thrown icicles at players that I've
- 26:16heard, they've thrown bottles at players.
- 26:19I, I've heard all of it. So now there's a Phillies.
- 26:21Karen, great story. I I'll sell that to my kids when
- 26:25whenever they're born. Who cares?
- 26:27No, hold on the crazy part too. I don't know if you guys heard
- 26:30this as well, but yeah, the Phillies took care of him.
- 26:32But the owner of Camping World, Mark Lemona, he gave them World
- 26:37Series tickets and he gifted the dad because it was his son.
- 26:41He gave him the ball and everything.
- 26:42He'd gift him a brand new RV. Oh my.
- 26:44God, so suck the Phillies. Darren, that's what happens when
- 26:49you're a Philadelphia fan. You don't get nothing.
- 26:52I mean, they were both Philadelphia fans.
- 26:55It was just like, I mean. She it wasn't even in her row
- 26:58though. No it wasn't.
- 27:00And she was just like he got it before she was able to react.
- 27:03It's fair game in that situation.
- 27:06What are you talking about? That's my ball.
- 27:08That was crazy. And then to go over it was the
- 27:10kids birthday. Trying to take it away from a 10
- 27:12year old kid and you're like a 50 year old woman.
- 27:14What are you? Doing I didn't hear this story
- 27:16at all all weekend long and now I'm hearing it went crazy.
- 27:19I'm sure you know what it is is over the weekend.
- 27:23I'm not even paying attention. I'm I'm taking care of just
- 27:25concentrating on the football and and and I didn't really
- 27:28watch any baseball except the Yankee games and the Blue Jay,
- 27:31the Yankees and the Blue Jays. And I was happy that the Yankees
- 27:33won two out of the three games. I, I didn't really pay attention
- 27:37to everything else that was going on in baseball.
- 27:39So maybe one of these days I'll, I'll remember the Phillies,
- 27:43Karen. I mean, like the Phillies.
- 27:46I would love to. Let's see if we can get Karen on
- 27:49the show. That would be funny.
- 27:51Who wouldn't like that? No one admits that it's her.
- 27:55Like I bet she dyed her hair. I bet I'm telling you this
- 27:58woman. They've tried.
- 28:00They've literally like they you know how the Internet is like
- 28:03there's there's a point though, too.
- 28:05I get like the Internet is great for a lot of things, but like
- 28:09how far is too far? Like are you like you trying to
- 28:13get this lady fired? Like what?
- 28:14I don't like, yeah, just call her out and do dumb, I guess.
- 28:19But like she, it's not like she hurt.
- 28:22Remember Moses Alou. Remember what?
- 28:24When. When that guy caught the ball.
- 28:26Who's Moses? Not Moses.
- 28:28Aloisis. Moi.
- 28:29What? What is it?
- 28:30Moises. Moises.
- 28:31Aloisis. Whatever.
- 28:32He'd parked the sea right down the middle.
- 28:34Whatever. I remember when that kid, that
- 28:37guy caught the ball and, and it affected the playoff game and
- 28:41that guy's life was absolutely ruined.
- 28:43Absolutely ruined. Yes, yes, it was absolutely.
- 28:47He was absolutely ruined and and the guy couldn't get a job.
- 28:51That guy had to hideaway and all that other stuff.
- 28:53And now you have the Phillies Karen and maybe she loses her
- 28:57job and maybe she can't get a job again because she attacks a
- 29:01fan. So.
- 29:02I always said it, though, I always said when the Cubs won
- 29:04the World Series, they should have let him throw out the first
- 29:06pitch the next year and 20. 17 And of course you guys correct
- 29:10me. I called him Moses.
- 29:12Moses, what is it there? Was 1700 to lose?
- 29:17Yeah. Whatever.
- 29:18Whatever, who cares anyways? Last segment of the Night King
- 29:23of the Hell. And here's the King of the Hill.
- 29:26This, Bobby, is the Beltline. You never ever hit below that.
- 29:30Not that kind of King of the hill, you dumb ready.
- 29:32Are you ready? This is King of the Hill.
- 29:36Breaking news, I need Brittany also.
- 29:38Wow. Everybody, welcome to King of
- 29:43the Hill. What a great game you're about
- 29:47to witness. Our king is Errol Marx, back on
- 29:51top. He is going to be presiding over
- 29:53today's NFL match. Round one, peasant fight.
- 29:57Everyone competes for a chance to have to go to the joust where
- 30:01the winner will have a chance to take on the king, to become the
- 30:05next king or the king will defend his crown.
- 30:08Here we go. Round one, peasant fight.
- 30:14Best performance in week one of the 2025 season?
- 30:19Guys, since we've all been talking about it all show, it's
- 30:22time for you to pick your favorite performances, the best
- 30:27performances by any player or coach say coach as well in week
- 30:32one of the 2025 season. We just have 3 competitors
- 30:36tonight. I'm not going to play.
- 30:38We'll just go in the order we have it.
- 30:41Starting off Errol, who do you want to start off with?
- 30:44Good job. All right, so we'll go down the
- 30:46road, Jabba and then Tommy and then Speedy for two.
- 30:49So let's start it off on King of the Hill Jabba.
- 30:55I'm probably going to go, I'll go Derrick Henry, you know, just
- 31:00looking at his stats too, with, you know, the amount of yards
- 31:03for what is it, plus 30 I had over whatever 1200 or whatever
- 31:08it is going into. Yeah, I think people are going
- 31:10to look at the fumble that cost them, you know, at the end of
- 31:13the game, but just to see how he continues to get better and what
- 31:18and what capacity does it just He continues to do it day in,
- 31:20day out, every Sunday, Thursday, Monday, Sunday, whatever day
- 31:24they play now. So yeah, I'm going to go there,
- 31:27Henry. Tommy All right, it's pretty
- 31:30simple. I'm going with the reigning MVP,
- 31:31Josh Allen and his monster of a game that he had with the 41 to
- 31:3540 win over the Buffalo, over the Buffalo Bills, over the
- 31:38Baltimore Ravens. And honestly, this game was
- 31:41just, well, this just makes me like the reason why I love
- 31:44football. This just makes everybody the
- 31:46reason why they're a football junkie to start off your NFL
- 31:49season this way. And we also said it to the week
- 31:51before when we're previewing this game in the 1st place, we
- 31:54always said, we did say that this game was going to be a
- 31:56phenomenal. And boy did it not disappoint
- 31:58with Josh Allen's. With Josh Allen's ability to
- 32:01have 4:00, almost 400 passing yards, four touch, I'm sorry, 2
- 32:05touchdowns and be able to distribute the ball to like 8
- 32:08different of his receivers, it truly shows why he's the MVP.
- 32:11So give me Josh Allen. All right.
- 32:14Speedy, you mentioned, you mentioned earlier Fish, Miles
- 32:17Garrett had like literally 2 consecutive sacks and nearly got
- 32:20a third on this on the same play.
- 32:21I think he I got the assistor, the other guy just took him down
- 32:24before that, but he was in the backfield getting it.
- 32:27I almost got a safety as well. Miles Garrett wrecking the
- 32:30Bengals, like you said, Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase barely doing
- 32:33anything and a lot of that has to do with him.
- 32:34So I'll give him my first one. And the second one I got is
- 32:37Justin Herbert. Justin Herbert in Brazil, where
- 32:39you remember those field conditions were really bad last
- 32:41year with the Eagles and the Packers and doing against the
- 32:44reigning AFC champion Chiefs. Steve Spagnola LED defense.
- 32:48That's the most a Greg Roman offense has thrown ever.
- 32:51He's always bottom 10 in passing.
- 32:52And Justin Herbert, 318 passing yards, spreading the ball around
- 32:55nicely. All right, second round.
- 33:00Toby All right, so I'm actually going to go back to the Buffalo
- 33:03Bills and the Baltimore Ravens and actually go with the Raven
- 33:06this time. And Zay Flowers as he is now the
- 33:08standout receiver of Week 1 as just an absolutely phenomenal
- 33:12performance. I know Errol of course couldn't
- 33:14get enough of how like he said how how amazing he was from the
- 33:17first. I love zay flowers.
- 33:19He absolutely was amazing this first game.
- 33:21I mean, this first week, a lot of doubters, of course, some
- 33:24people might let he's of course their number one option had an
- 33:26amazing a career year last season too.
- 33:28But some people, of course, the consistency was a big question
- 33:31or whatnot. And if he can actually be as
- 33:33mobile and that stone that #1 receiver and he's actually
- 33:36absolutely proving 143 yards for a touchdown, 7 receptions, he's
- 33:41he's absolutely amazing this season or he's going to be
- 33:43absolutely amazing this season. So it's a flowers.
- 33:47All right, Jabba for Jew. I'm going to go Aaron Rodgers
- 33:54just because I think people counted him out.
- 33:56Obviously team has to play a party.
- 33:58Lost 12 games last year, but throws for four touchdowns, 22
- 34:04for 30. Completion rates 73%.
- 34:08I just like that he comes. He's 41 years old and still
- 34:10doing it and took a double bird to The Jets.
- 34:14Tommy, I'm going to have to go with Geno Smith on the Raiders.
- 34:18He threw, of course, 362 yards and 1 touchdown, 1 interception,
- 34:22of course. But hey, Gino actually has of
- 34:25course proven that with underwrite coaching and it's
- 34:27proven that Pete Carroll is his man.
- 34:29You know, they of course trust each other.
- 34:30They have that connection going on there for a couple years now.
- 34:33And it absolutely worked the first week to get their win out
- 34:35against the Patriots. So I'm going to have to go with
- 34:38his stellar performance at quarterback.
- 34:40He did everything that they needed to do as a quarterback
- 34:42for having him win and going with Geno Smith, all right.
- 34:45Right. And finish it off speedy.
- 34:47All right, I'm going to go with Micah Parsons making his impact
- 34:50felt in the Packers debut in the fourth quarter.
- 34:52You really saw the rest of the Packers defensive line strive
- 34:55around him too. This is a really good Lions
- 34:57offensive line. And collectively you saw Rashan
- 34:59Gary play well. Fish, you mentioned Devante
- 35:01Wyatt had a really good game. You saw them kind of be creative
- 35:04with different blitz types with some of their young linebackers
- 35:07and Green Cooper. That's the effect with Micah
- 35:08Parsons. This is a really good top five
- 35:10offensive line that the Detroit Lions have had for the last
- 35:13really three years, and Green Bay made it seem like that they
- 35:16were the Lions of 2020 all over again.
- 35:19Well, there it is, Errol. Two of these three are moving on
- 35:22to the joust. Who's not making it?
- 35:24All right, so I I want I got Java.
- 35:29He doesn't want to go into the next round.
- 35:31I got it. Well, I wasn't going to pick you
- 35:34because you picked Aaron Rogers, so there.
- 35:38Hey, there's. It's called.
- 35:38Strategy and the only thing I I could say is we were talking
- 35:45about Joe Alt and nobody picked him and and I thought he was
- 35:49sensational. So but I'm going to go speedy
- 35:52and poops. Moving on.
- 35:53Jabba's got to go take a dump, as we all know.
- 35:56I had to take a shit. I need to riff into my water.
- 35:58There you go. I'm sorry, the old man needs the
- 36:01hydration. Hydrate him.
- 36:03So I need a popsicle. Popsicle.
- 36:05I need a popsicle. All right, let's get back to it.
- 36:10Here's round two of the joust best trick plays of all time,
- 36:16meaning it doesn't have to be like a specific moment in
- 36:20history, but a type of trick play.
- 36:22Or you can pick, you know, a specific famous trick play.
- 36:26You just have to defend it and make your case.
- 36:30Best trick plays of all time. Who's going first, Daryl?
- 36:35Let's go speed. All right, so I'll I'll go with
- 36:37the one in the Super Bowl. Go with a notable one, Antoine
- 36:39Randall L with the wide receiver reverse pass of rookie Ben
- 36:43Roethlisberger at the time and trusting into the throw deep
- 36:46against Heinz Ward against a very a Seattle defense.
- 36:48Obviously wasn't as good as the Legion of Boom, but one of the
- 36:50better ones still in that secondary and a lot of good
- 36:52pieces with that Mike Holmgren team.
- 36:54This was a six seed for the Steelers too that won that Super
- 36:56Bowl. Antoine Randall L later in his
- 36:57career, but making it work on that fly.
- 37:00Tommy All right, I'm going to actually go with a game back in
- 37:03the NFC Championship with the Seattle Seahawks and the Green
- 37:07Bay Packers when of course, again, a move that actually
- 37:10started the offense and getting the Seahawks rolling was that
- 37:13fake field goal actually got them on the board for the first
- 37:16time after being down. I think it was 3 scores at the
- 37:18time. But yeah, that definitely kick
- 37:20started the offense. That definitely kick started the
- 37:22team in general and came back against the Green Bay Packers
- 37:25and actually went managed to go to the Super Bowl again and
- 37:28back-to-back gear. So give me that for my trick
- 37:31play. Guys, I'm talking about trick
- 37:34plays, not like a just a regular play, all right?
- 37:38Trick plays it's right. A fake field goal, not.
- 37:41Something more creative like. That's basic basic trick.
- 37:46Play. It's very basic.
- 37:49Let's get it like Job. For example, Jabba just said
- 37:51fumble Ruski. Fumble Ruski is when the
- 37:53quarterback puts the ball down between the center's foot and
- 37:56the guards foot. Everyone runs to the right, the
- 37:59guard picks it up and runs to the left behind the center's
- 38:02block and walks into the end zone untouched on a 2 point
- 38:05conversion. That's a fumble Ruski.
- 38:06That's a trick play. That's a crazy one that nobody
- 38:09does. I did it once in a JV game on A2
- 38:12point conversion. It tripped over his own feet.
- 38:14But that's what I'm looking for. Can we get some trick plays,
- 38:19boys? Speedy.
- 38:21All right, so I'll go with a special teams one.
- 38:23For this one, I'm going to go with 2014 with the Rams.
- 38:26John Fossil, who was the special teams coach at the time, they
- 38:29kind of did a trick thing against the Seahawks where they
- 38:32did not know where the punt returners were going.
- 38:34So the blockers, yeah, the blockers kind of swarmed,
- 38:37overloaded a side of the field. And I think it was, was it Tavon
- 38:41Austin or there was another one, I forget who it was offhand, but
- 38:44they made it seem like they were catching the ball.
- 38:47Who's normally really good on special teams too, Pete Carroll,
- 38:50and they've always had great returners, Gunner, stuff like
- 38:53that. They got tricked badly on that
- 38:54one against the Rams. They played weird games against
- 38:56the Rams for whatever reason, but I'll go with that one.
- 38:59I like that. That was a good one.
- 39:01I remember that too, Tommy. All right, so then I'll go with
- 39:04the Philly Special over in the Super Bowl with the Philadelphia
- 39:07Eagles, of course, getting the much needed touchdown against
- 39:11the defending champion New England Patriots and a very hard
- 39:14fought game, of course, very hard fought for all the right
- 39:17reasons. And that of course, was one of
- 39:19the biggest and one of the most replicated plays.
- 39:21Now Philly Special in that from starting from that, from that
- 39:25game going on. So give me the Philly Special.
- 39:29Yeah, I ran it a couple of years before them, but whatever
- 39:32that's. Fine the fish special.
- 39:34The Fishy special. All right, I'll round it out
- 39:36with a not a scene often play now, but the Statue of Liberty
- 39:39being done with with Tom Brady. It was Tom Brady in 2007 against
- 39:43a Jaguars team that actually was a pretty good team that year.
- 39:45But 82 yard strike after 5th if you get to the running back.
- 39:48Supposed to be a direct, snappy Bill Belichick like Errol says
- 39:51all the time when it bends the rules all the time and tries to
- 39:54make it work and even tried to do with the Statue of Liberty
- 39:56play there. It was actually a fake Statue of
- 39:59Liberty is what that play was. So he fakes the hand like he
- 40:02does the Statue of Liberty. Usually it's a hand off, but he
- 40:05faked like he handed it off and just stood there like a statue
- 40:08and then just turned around and threw it into the middle of the
- 40:10end. 80 yards. Yeah, that was dirty.
- 40:12That's a dirty move. Speed up, Speedy Tommy.
- 40:16Finish it off. OK.
- 40:17So I kind of, I wanted to go with the Saints, but I don't
- 40:23know, I think it's OK if I'm going to do this real quick.
- 40:25The Saints going for the onside kick in the half after the
- 40:29halftime now, of course. OK, OK, there we go.
- 40:32Perfect. I just want to see if that fit
- 40:33the criteria. But basically, yeah, just the
- 40:37Saints going for such a ballsy move and something that we had
- 40:40never seen and really has never been replicated at that point.
- 40:43Sean Payton deciding to go for the on side kicks after the half
- 40:46time in a big game like the Super Bowl.
- 40:49You know, uncharted territory for a team against a team like
- 40:52Peyton Manning and the Colts led by the two under 2 amazing teams
- 40:56that year. Of course, many people thought
- 40:58it was going to go to the Colts, but that of course, jump
- 41:00started, I would like to say for the Saints to get a lot of
- 41:03things going in the second-half. So give me that for my last
- 41:06play. All right, I don't know.
- 41:09I was expecting to hear the Music City Miracle.
- 41:11That's my favorite one by far. Frank Wycheck.
- 41:14Oh, I didn't do it because it was somewhat controversial.
- 41:17I I don't think it was controversial, but it was pretty
- 41:21flat. But that's one of the great
- 41:24plays of all time and that was an amazing trick play.
- 41:27Errol, you got any your favorites fake spike against?
- 41:31I knew not to add that one. Well.
- 41:34I could add that I think about it.
- 41:35I mean, I've seen a lot of blunders, so I I can't, I don't
- 41:39even want to even get. Into it.
- 41:40You're not going to win over Arrow by picking it out against
- 41:42The Jets. Yeah, All right, Arrow, who's
- 41:44moving on to phase two in the final?
- 41:46Round you know what? He's never been there.
- 41:48Let's pick poops. Let's go with it.
- 41:50All right, let's. Go.
- 41:51All right, Tommy poops. Let's get Jabba back in.
- 41:54We're going to change the screens, put the competitors up
- 41:57against each other and get it back out there.
- 42:00So that was the joust. Now it's time to take on the
- 42:05king Tommy poops. You got a chance right here and
- 42:08this is a good one Worst Jets coaches of all time yes, right
- 42:15on brand. You finally have a good one.
- 42:17It looks like I want to hear I've got worst.
- 42:21I've got coaches of all time. ChatGPT not necessary tonight.
- 42:29Even though it would have been. Funny to see Goody try this.
- 42:32All right, I'm going to go with #1 Rich Kotight.
- 42:38He was the worst coach in NFL history, not just for The Jets,
- 42:45for anybody. He was horrible.
- 42:47He the guy couldn't win a game. He was so bad, so terrible,
- 42:51every single thing. I remember Rich Kotight because
- 42:53after one season he was gone, so Rich Kotight.
- 42:58All right, I'm going to go with Lou Holtz and although I never
- 43:01actually I never I never actually got to see him, you
- 43:04know, do as much coaching or what not, but you know,
- 43:06absolutely abysmal season 3 and 10 and resigned before he
- 43:09actually left before he before the last game or what not.
- 43:13So hey, things didn't go out well for him.
- 43:15Terrible, absolutely didn't even finish all the season.
- 43:18So we're going to go with Lou Holtz.
- 43:21Errol. Adam Gase 7 and 23.
- 43:29Adam Gaze In almost Four Seasons, Adam Gaze gave The Jets
- 43:34seven wins. That's it. 7 friggin wins, as
- 43:38they called him. Googly eyes.
- 43:40The only thing he googled was the balls in his pants.
- 43:43Adam Gaze. All right.
- 43:48I'm going to actually go with Mr. Somebody.
- 43:52That's pretty shocking. I guess you could say Mr. Pete
- 43:56Carroll as his only season with the team only went on a six and
- 43:5910 record. You know, Carroll, of course,
- 44:01they didn't have the success over there and didn't have a lot
- 44:03to go with or what not over there.
- 44:05But hey, he put up a very abysmal season.
- 44:08It's not was not one of his most proudest seasons.
- 44:10Of course we look at one of the greatest head coaches that he is
- 44:13today. But with The Jets it was not it
- 44:15was not looking like that at all.
- 44:16So Mr. Pete Carroll. All right, my last one.
- 44:22Why wouldn't I add this guy to my list of just horrible
- 44:26coaches? You all know him as Bambi.
- 44:29I know him as idiots. As he's taking receipts, I'm
- 44:33taking all the receipts in the world.
- 44:35Stay in San Francisco Hideaway Hydro bald head up Kyle
- 44:40Shanahan's ass. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the
- 44:43one and only Robert Sala. As if you look at the records
- 44:47and the winning records to loss records records, he is the
- 44:50fourth worst coach in NFL history.
- 44:54Yes ladies and gentlemen, 4th worst in the NFL.
- 44:58And as far as Bambi's concerned, he can hideaway in the woods or
- 45:02get shot or cry that his mom is passed away.
- 45:06Bambi has ruined the New York Jets and has absolutely shoved
- 45:11me away from hating The Jets year in and year out.
- 45:13So there you go, Robert Sala. All right, finish it up.
- 45:17Tommy. I'm.
- 45:17Going to go with Mr. Todd Bowles.
- 45:19Now a guy who actually did have a pretty successful season
- 45:21within his first season on the team and pretty much the whole,
- 45:25the whole team just couldn't actually get an offensive
- 45:28identity you what not. Of course they have people like
- 45:30Darrelle Revis and a pretty solid defense, but that team
- 45:33just couldn't actually get anything going with him under
- 45:35their tenure. I'm going to have to go with
- 45:38Todd Bowles on this one. I thought top Bowls was pretty
- 45:42successful compared to all The Jets coaches. 24 and 40 is not
- 45:48pretty. Success.
- 45:49I mean, yeah, that's pretty okay.
- 45:50He did. I mean, of course, out of
- 45:52everybody we named, he's the most successful.
- 45:54He was definitely the most successful, but.
- 45:56I'm going to, I'm going to vote on this one.
- 46:00I'm going to give this to Errol. I think this category was
- 46:04designed. To make him win.
- 46:08Stay the King is part of the King's whole racket here.
- 46:14Look, you said Pete Carroll and Todd Bowles, they're they had
- 46:18bad seasons with The Jets, but they're not bad coaches.
- 46:21I don't think anyone would say they're bad coaches.
- 46:23Rich Potite head coach Adam Gates.
- 46:27Bad as being really bad head. Coach, you know, like really
- 46:31bad. Like Legendarily Bad had.
- 46:34Googly eyes. Holtz is like a legendary
- 46:36college coach. So you know, like I just think
- 46:39those guys that you mentioned, Tommy were actually good at
- 46:42other places. So since the guys at Errol
- 46:44mentioned were never. I'm.
- 46:48Going with arrow. And, and by the way, we'll never
- 46:51be good anywhere they go. So I mean, Adam Gates right now
- 46:55is coaching high school and he's losing.
- 46:56So is he actually, yes, he's coaching high school and his
- 46:59team's losing. So is.
- 47:00It is it going to recruit Frank Gore for an extra eligibility?
- 47:05All right, Jabba, give us your vote.
- 47:09Jabba's in his own world. That clinches in speedy you as
- 47:14well. Definitely, as much as Lou Holtz
- 47:18made a smart decision to reside to become a great college coach,
- 47:22But Bill Belichick before Bill Belichick?
- 47:25Lou Holtz, he puts his pants on the same way we do.
- 47:28So I like Lou. I like Lou.
- 47:30He couldn't win for crap, but in college she was great.
- 47:34He wasn't. He coached at Notre Dame.
- 47:36I remember that. And he won a national
- 47:38championship with Notre Dame. Their last one.
- 47:40Yes, rich coat tied. Oh my God, that guy was the
- 47:44worst. And and as far is winning
- 47:46percentage is a concern of all time, Robert Sala is in the top
- 47:50five. That's how bad it is.
- 47:52So I I mean, The Jets have had probably the worst coaching
- 47:56Staffs in NFL history. I don't think you could argue
- 47:58that even the Browns and the Bengals over the years and all
- 48:02the bad teams in the NFL, when we go up and down some of these
- 48:05rosters, they have had all time great coaches.
- 48:08I don't remember the last all time great coach The Jets have
- 48:11ever had. I they've had a lot of the
- 48:13worst, but never the best. So I mean the Giants look, Tom
- 48:17Coughlin, great coach, Bill Parcells great coach.
- 48:21I mean, if you go down there and and now you know, well, Dabel is
- 48:24not a good coach and Judge was not a good coach and practically
- 48:27everybody else after that we're. Going to just do New York
- 48:30history? Joe Judge might take the cake.
- 48:32But. Like Dabel might not be a good
- 48:35coach, but he's not Joe Judge. Joe Judge was an abomination.
- 48:40Is he coaching anywhere right now?
- 48:42Last time I checked, he went back to New England.
- 48:44I think he's in high school, like some prep school or
- 48:46something. Tells him how to take a.
- 48:48Knee on 3rd, 3rd down in the second quarter Well.
- 48:52They're going to need to I take a knee and run away from them.
- 48:56Just don't. Take a knee.
- 48:58They're going to need to, no pun intended.
- 49:00Fish don't need him. Just make sure he doesn't take a
- 49:02knee on a on a spike situation like Kirk Cousins did.
- 49:06Joe Judge is a senior analyst for Ole Miss.
- 49:09I rest my case. Senior Analyst that's.
- 49:12Exactly what he is. How?
- 49:13Wonderful. That made-up job?
- 49:15I was about. I don't even know exactly what
- 49:16that is. Assistant to the regional
- 49:19Manager. Oh, wait.
- 49:20That's what he is. Hopefully he wasn't there last
- 49:23year. Damn Jackson Dark got exposed to
- 49:24him. That's that's true.
- 49:26I remember that so thank you to all the fans that are following
- 49:29us on Spotify and apple on the video end and the audio, and we
- 49:33really appreciate you guys thank you to TikTok fans.

- 49:48and guys go to our website at www.worldwidesportsradio.com.
- 49:54Speedy, who do we have on Wednesday?
- 49:55Shout out to Nathan for getting this guy Jordan Ronin.
- 49:58He's the ESPN National NFL Nation reporter national
- 50:01reporter for the New York Football Giants.
- 50:03There you go and I know OU giant fans are going to love his takes
- 50:06about the giants. I know official, you know,
- 50:09probably you know what in his pants, but anyways, it's.
- 50:13Going to be terrible. He's going to say the team
- 50:14sucks. You know that's what's going to
- 50:16happen. Is he wrong?
- 50:19No. You you'll probably give them
- 50:21some credit with their defense. I mean, Abdul Carter's good.
- 50:24And then it ends right there. They're great.
- 50:27Listen, you have some kind of future.
- 50:29You have Abdul Carter, you have Burns and you have Dexter
- 50:32Lawrence. Mr. Sexy Dexy, who, by the way,
- 50:36when he came into the league, I will never get credit for it.
- 50:38I'm the one who gave him that nickname.
- 50:40I called him Sexy Dexy so, and that was before he came from
- 50:44Clemson and everything that I called him Sexy Dexy.
- 50:47I'm telling you, Job is shaking his head.
- 50:49I was the one that gave him that nickname.
- 50:51I was the one that gave him that nickname.
- 50:52I need evidence. We'll go back.
- 50:55We'll go back to one of our shows because I have every one
- 50:57of our shows. Yes, I was the one that gave him
- 51:01the nickname. He was playing in the national
- 51:03championship, Speedy, and I called him Sexy Dexy, and I said
- 51:07he I I thought he was going to be a good player going to the
- 51:10NFL when the Giants drafted him too, because I watched, watched
- 51:12him. He dominated in the national
- 51:14championship game. So I remember.
- 51:17That's all I'm going to say. And the guy that drafted it was
- 51:20the Raiders that drafted him. I didn't think he was going to
- 51:22be good. Who was the guy who was the pass
- 51:24rush at the Raiders game? Yeah, I didn't think.
- 51:27He was the strange 4th overall pick.
- 51:29Like I thought he was going to be good, but not top five good.
- 51:32Yeah, I didn't. Think he was going to be good.
- 51:34I thought Dexter Lawrence had a really good national
- 51:36championship. That was the first of many.
- 51:38Mike Mayock, yes. Proving.
- 51:41Maybe he didn't know what he was.
- 51:42Talking about well, he actually kind of, it actually kind of
- 51:44washed because in the fifth round they drafted Max Crosby,
- 51:46yes. He did.
- 51:47Yeah, but that's getting lucky. Yeah, just drafted Jacobs here
- 51:51too. That's right.
- 51:52Being bad at drafting in all the other.
- 51:53Rounds. Yeah, he did.
- 51:54I mean, there he wasn't. Did not a lot of slam dunk.
- 51:57No no 20/20/20 was the worst though.
- 51:58They drafted Henry Ruggs first, then they drafted Damon Arnett
- 52:02who was like a fourth round prospect in the first round that
- 52:04had all field issues. Yeah, it didn't make any sense.
- 52:06Anyways, we'll be back on Wednesday.
- 52:08Until then, this is Errol Jabba, Speedy Fish and the Poop Man
- 52:13saying good night. We'll talk to you then.
- 52:14Good night everybody. It is the worldwide sports radio
- 52:18network.
